1. My introduction : Hello, I'm from Delhi, India. I am a fashion designer, Graphic Designer, and Kelley graffiti artist. I've been to my family business for two years which is related to home textiles. It's been little over three years that I am Hindu telegraphy. My mission is to help my fellow graphic designers and artists to help them in their calligraphy journey. 2. Recap of Part 1 and Brief of class: This class is the second part of the two-part series, start your digital calligraphy journey with Procreate. Let's discuss about the first spot. In the first spot, we did the basics of Procreate app. We learned some basic tools, how Procreate works, and what are the tools of Procreate app. We also did some practice of basic calligraphy strokes that are important for the transition to learn how the transition happens from pig took ten and send to take. Also relearned to create some basic strokes that are important in creating all the 26 letters in English alphabet. And we are combining the strokes together and that exercise will help you because that is dealing with the foundation of category. In this part, that is part two of start your digital calligraphy journey with procreate. We are going to learn how these basic strokes that we learned in part one. We'll be learning in part to how to combine these basic strokes together to form all 26 letters of the English alphabet. Also, we'll be learning how to connect those Twenty-six letters together to form various words to it. Just magic though. And if you feel that yes, you are having some trouble while you're doing why you're connecting the letters, you can refer and go back to previous lesson and learn and gain, move on prudence and gain more clarity about the concept of combining the lectures together or combining these strokes together, it will help you a lot. In this class, I have shared my way of dividing the letters together into groups. And that has helped me in practicing these investors as a group. And I hope that it will help you in making this learning process easier. Also, I have included both books in my class. In part one, you got workbook one and set of brushes. In this class that is far too, you are going to get workbook to, in which I haven't included some handling notes that will help you gain more confidence and more clarity of how the groups are combined, how the letters are combined with the later transition is happening in a lot more in the handy note, the reason that I have provided the electors as two-letter three to 44 to 55 to six. It will help you in developing confidence because it will be overwhelming if you straight away start with six or more letter words or combining complex worlds together. So it is easier for us to start with the smallest words and then we'll gradually to the more complex words. I would recommend you to do regular, consistent practice. And beard drools be good. Basic strokes or letters or words. I would highly recommend that you must, must, must do The Daily consistent practice because it is our skill and hand and muscle memory that is bad plays a major, major rule in our calligraphy. What we practiced the right way, the more it is going to help us and become proficient in our chemical. See, I hope you enjoy this class. If you are taking this class, I would highly encourage you to do all the practices to take that workbook do the practice. There is a special practice sheet also provided in this workbook so that they are in the workbook that I have provided that you will get in the resource section if you don't know how to download these files or resources that you are getting with this class. I would recommend that you must check how to download the resources from part one of this class, and that will help you how to download the resources from Skillshare. If you are sharing your work, I would recommend that please do share your work because that will help you gain confidence of sharing your work. And it will help you in improving your calligraphy skills faster, which is amazing. If you share, you too, do more practice and also you tend to improve faster. So I would recommend you to share your work with all of us here in the project section. And it would be nice if you can share your daily practice as well as your project work that is, that is there at the end of the class. If you have any questions related to basic strokes or how to combine the letters together, feel free to ask me in the discussion section and I'll be more than happy to help you see you in class. 3. How to Download Resources : To download the sources for the project and resources section on the right, you will see the resources download the files Workbook Tool, which is split into two parts to a and to B. The size of the local pool was to be downloaded all at once. There are brushes and watch fires color swatch file, download them as well. I also have included a PDF format of the complete world walk through. Just in case if you are planning to download and take the printout of all the nodes. Or if you want to practice these letters or words using pen and paper, save this PDF file in your file and folder or take it directly to procreate app. I have also included a JPEG file that color swatch so that if you are unable to download the watch file properly, you are able to select the colors from that JPG file and create your fellow. Now they do have downloaded all the resources. You are now ready to take this class, open the woke up to a in-group IOT app and let's get started. 4. Lesson 5 Connecting Strokes: Introduction: Now we have acquired some knowledge, basic knowledge about how to create basic strokes. We are now ready to convert these strokes into lectures. We will be combining these basic strokes, two or three or four basic strokes together to create all 26 letters of our English alphabet. This process of creating letters can be a bit overwhelming to you as a beginner. To eliminate that feeling of overwhelming this, we will do something to these 26 letters of English of the width. 5. Letters Divisions: Now that we have acquired basic knowledge and done some practice of creating basic strokes, we are not ready to combine these basic strokes together to create letters of English alphabet. Let's start with a serverless. Each letter is formed by combining two or three or four different basic strokes we learned in our previous lesson. The order of combining these strokes together vary for each letter. And some letters like R and S, they have different strokes, which we will see and alone later. This process of creating letters can be a bit overwhelming to you as a beginner. To eliminate that feeling of overwhelming this, we will do something to these 26 letters of English of the West. Before we begin our lesson, let's first divide our 26 letters into different groups based on their basic strokes with which a leader is beginning, which will make it easier for us to work on that. Let's start with that. For example, if we are looking at this, these are the letters that are starting from entry stroke. Some of the letters are starting with a different stroke. We will be dividing them as how the later started as their entry stroke. We will start with our book book too. Let's open page one of Whirlpool to how to open that. For this, you need to switch off. This layer starts from here. This is the cover page. Stop the visibility by deselecting it. So we have uncheck detect mark now makes sure that the layer letters division is on, This is our letter division layer. Make sure that you are on this layer. Let's look at the notes quickly. We will divide all these 26 letters into three divisions. I would like to add this. It is completely my way of providing the letters, and it could be any other way of dividing letters for any other artist or any other person. These divisions that are there that I have included. The letters that are starting with the entrance stroke. So we'll write on all the letters that are starting with the entrance stroke. Then we will note down all the letters that are starting with deep overtone. This is our second division. These are starting with the forward tones and letters that are starting with the compound curve. So this is the final set of letters. I have divided them into three parts. Let's look at the first division. It is very huge because 20 letters are coming in. This a, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, OPQRST, you dw. So these are all the letters that are coming in the first division. Let's make it more easier for us to start with the letters. Now, Division 23 are absolutely fine. They are having only 33 letters in each. But when we look at the division one, there are 20 letters which are comprising 76% of English alphabet. So let us make it easier for ourselves. Let's divide these letters further. We will divide these letters by looking at the second stroke. Now, first we looked at the first entrance stroke. We got 20 liters. Now we are looking at the next strong doctors at joining the entrance stroke. So let's look at these, then will further divide it into different parts. In some letters there are ovals. Okay, let's go back to this sheet. There are some ovals with the entrance stroke. With some strokes which are having ovals. They are letter a, C, D, E, g, q. There are some entry strokes that are connected to ascending stem loop. Now let's see what is the ascending stem-loop? This is the ascending stem loop. So let's find out what are the letters that are there which are connected. Entrance stroke width b is an exam loop that is later be h, k, l. You can add p as well. Then there are some letters having descending stem loops. So let's look at those letters. Re stroke with the descending stem-loop. They are J, B. You must be noticing that there are some letters that are having both ascending and descending stem-loop, for example, letter F and letter P. So there are some letters, some exceptions that are connected to entry strokes, both ascending and descending at the same time, we will do it one-by-one. Some letters are having undertone next to the entry stroke. That is little u, i, w, l. Somehow a loop attached to the entry stroke. These are the entries strokes, but they have loops attached to the entry stroke. They are later R and S. We will start making the letters that are there in division one. Let's start the easiest of them in this segment. The most easiest one, our letter I, Niger, you, letter W, letter T, and letter L. These are the easiest one to start with. We will start them one-by-one. 6. Letters division 1.1 (I, t, u, w, l): Let's first start with the easiest of all in this segment, we will learn to create letters I, d, u, w, and l will go to the Layers panel. And in layers panel, we will switch off this letter division and our next letters that we are about to make ready. So in this, we are going to use this layer later division 1.1. We have given this name 1.1, where we have written alphabets that are starting with the entrance stroke connected with undertone. That is I, T, U, W, and L. We will be making these strokes and doing the practice on practice 1.1 here, the layer above the division 1.1. So every layer is named as per the division. And accordingly, we will do practice on that. Make sure that division 1.1, both the layers are open. We'll be working on practice 1.1. Start zooming in so that you are able to view it clearly. I have arranged some names of the lines that we have learned earlier about the baseline header line. Yeah, I have named all the lines that it is easier for you to understand with each letter in the alphabet. Let's start with letter. I. Just look at it closely. In later i, we have one entrance stroke. Then entrance stroke is combined with the undertone, as the name suggests that we are combining entrance with the underturn, entrance stroke width, the undertone, and then there is a dot as well in AI. So we will make, join these strokes together to create these entrance strokes plus underturn plus dot. And that gives us letter, I. Read letter T. Same thing as there, but the undertone is extended. It is a bit above the regular undertones. So this is called extended under turn. Stroke, extended underturn across bar. This is the horizontal line that is there. We call it crossbar. Andrew stroke. Extended, underturn and across but gives us later. There are the gray shades that are there for you so that you can trace over them. Then as letter you later you is made by entry stroke underturn. And then again one undertone is there. So when we combine them together, we are getting entry stroke undertone. And one more underdog. This is how we are going to make. Next is later w. W is the same ways that we did with the letter U. But there is one small mini undertone or coma dot weekend. See, that is there. We can combine this with this to get this. W. Now is later L. Letter L is having two strokes advertising combined with the entry stroke. It is a ascending stem loop. And while making a ascending stem loop, we are creating underturn along with it. These are the strokes that I have given in different colors so that it is easier for you to understand how the strokes are forming. This is Andrew stroke is descending stem-loop and an undertone. So that gives you a little L. Let's make these letters one by 1. First days later I, I'm creating it separately so that you're able to view that. Makes sure that you are using negligee watercolor brush or a brush pen, zinc food, BUT that I provided that you are able to see all the colors that are coming. Posters injury stroke then is underturn. And then this dot, this is how later I is created. And what you will do is you will work on these truth tables like this. When you are saying make sure that you are on practice 1.1 naught on later division, even if you are on later division one, it will not allow you to write because it will say that it is logged. Make sure you are on practice 1.1 layer. And here you will practice how the strokes are created. You will create entry stroke, underturn plus dot, which will give you this letter I. So similarly, we are going to make other leaders making it and speeding up the process. We are done with it. Now there is a place where dry on your own section is there on this sheet. Just trace it one more time and when you are done, try making it on your own in the next slide. The moment you are making a stroke, giving extra ratio, you will immediately get to know that you are giving extra ratio on stroke where stroke has to come. For example, if I'm creating a this, this dog has one means I have given extra pressure on this place. So I will remove that video fingers, fingers. When you're creating these letters, just in your mind, keeps saying or even louder if you want. Entry is true In ascending stem loop undertone. That you know that you are making the letters, you are able to recall the strokes as well. We are done with our first set of division, which was i, t, u, w, and l. Now it is your turn to combine these entrance strokes with the undertook, an extended undertone. Once you feel confident, try making these letters on your own, on a blank practice layer on your iPad. Let's move on to our next set of letters. 7. Letter division 1.2 (b, f, h, k, l, p): Let's move on to our next set of letters. Most of all we need to close this practice 1.1 and close later division 1.1 and we are headed to our next division, division one. Next segment is where we are connecting entrance stroke with the ascending stem loops. The letters we will be doing our b, h, k, l and make sure that you are on practice. 1, dual layer. And layer is the MAC division 1.2 is also on. Here are the connections. In letter B. There is an entry stroke, then there is an instant loop. Then we are having this overtone, if you can see, but there is slight modification done to overturn. That is modified overturn and then exit stroke. You can also make reverse or well, if you want to, but I would like to make it like this as an overtone with a little modification. Letter F in letter F has Andrew stroke, ascending stem loop, descending stem-loop, and its exit stroke starts from here. It will be a little shorter than this one entry stroke. So this will give us little f. And here are your practice portions of these connections. Then comes later. It starts with entry, stroke is an instant loop. Then there is a combined goal. Then when we are joining them together, is giving us later. Now next is letter k. Let's look at it closely. Letter K is a slight different variation of certain strokes. Let's have a look. It has entry stroke, it has a ascending stem loop that is joining next to entrance stroke. Then there is a opposite side of this entry stroke. If you flip it over, it gives you this shape. And then along with that there is a teardrop shape that is added to this flipped injury stroke. Then small part of compound curve. If we look at closely, if you are making a compound curve, so it is a bit smaller as compared to a regular compound curve, regular compound curves, gums like this. But here we are giving a smaller and light variation of compound curve. When we combine them together, all this is connecting with this teardrop shape, and it comes right from here, like this. Then we'll look at letter l. We have already done later L in our previous section in the last video. So I'm not covering that here. It is similar to what we did earlier. It's exactly the same thing. Entry stroke is ending, then undertone, combining together. Then as later be literal p can be of two diets, will see one by one. And this is injury stroke. You can make this as the one single downward stroke. It has two parts, some of, some part of any stem loop, and then descending loop is not there. You can add loop if you want to. But what I have created here is just one single downstroke that we have learned in our calligraphy drills from ten to ten. Then we have done this same pin care. Again, what we have done in our letter B, which was mortified overtones. So this is overturn, but we have slightly modified it and go inside to make it little feet. We have made this overturn with slight modification. Where slight go it is going in a slight Gobi manners towards the inside. Then there is a dot. If you look really closely, I'm zooming in so that everything is clear. There is a dot. So when we are making overtone little modification, medical thing would've been putting a dot here. And all. We will be practicing this in just a few. And how a look at how these different strokes are added first as little b on making your hair. Then is later f. Injury, stroke, ascending, descending, descending. Normally descending goes like this. But for F, we are making towards the opposite side and just flipping it in this space. Next is debt or edge. Then is the donkey. Is Henley's the loop. Does flip the entry stroke the way it is made. Just flip it over to your drove loop. Then connecting it with the half off compound. Then is L and B. We have already done in our previous segment. We start from below the ascender line for b, because b is a very big letter. Overturn. More dedication and then draw. So what will you do as a practice? These basic strokes on top of it so that you acquire good muscle memory. And start saying their names as well. Injury stroke. Try to be as low as possible because it takes time to acquire control over your strokes and appetite. Injury. Stroke is ending stem loop. These links them loop. Exit stroke, injury stroke, ascending stem loop, compound curve. This gives later. Here is what you will trace over and on a different layer on your practice sheets, you can try making these literals. Now it's your turn to combine these entrance strokes with the ascending stem loop and the stroke that are following them in the letters. Once you feel confident, try making these letters on your own, on a blind practice layer on your iPad. Let's move on to our next set of letters. 8. Letter division 1.3 (f, j, p): Let's start with our new segment. Make sure to switch off these layers. Division 1.2, and we will be headed to division 1.3. Make sure that you are on practice 1.3 layer. In this segment, we will be making letters that are having entrance stroke and they are having descending stem-loop. So let's start. Now. I will start with the letter straight away. As now you have the basic knowledge how these strokes are connected. So let's start. For in letter J. B will be creating entry stroke, combining with descending stem-loop. And then exit stroke and r dot. And this gives us a letter J, entrance stroke, descending stem loop, exit stroke, letter f. We have already done. And let OP we have already done. So let's do it quickly. Entry stroke and he ascending stem loop. And with the ascending stem loop pared down below. Ladies ascending stem loop. The exit stroke. Follow Toby. More defied. We're done with stroke injury, stroke ten to take Dung's true. Mortified overtone and English exit stroke. Once you are done with the practice for how to connect the strokes, create letters. I'm creating it here. Injury stroke. These endings stem loop, exit stroke and a dot. Entry stroke. Ascending stem loop joining with descending stem-loop and exit stroke. To be. Now it's your turn to combine these entrance stroke with the descending loops and the strokes that are following them in the literatures. Once you feel confident, try making these letters on your own, on a blank breakfast live on the space that is there on this practice sheet 1.3. Let's move on to our next set of letters. 9. Letters division 1.4 part 1 (a, c, d, e, g, o): Before we start with the next segment, let's close these two layers, division 1.3 layers, and then head towards the region 1.4. We will be dividing this division 1.4 into two parts, 44 feet. This is for B. So we are starting with letters that are there in 1.48. Make sure that you are on practice 1.4. Let's have a look. What are letters are there? In this segment, we'll be combining entrance stroke of weird overlap. What are the letters that are having or well-done them? A, C, and D, G, and cute. Let's start with a. Letter. A is having an entrance stroke, an old one and undertone. This gives us later. Let's make it entry stroke plus over plus and undertone divs. Now, next is letter C. Just have a look at how letter C is created. It has an injury stroke, it has partial oval and an exit stroke plus a small dot coming from the older. We can start straight away from here. Or we, first, we create this partial oval and then creating this part of disease. When you look at closely hair in this section, this is from hair. Then here. Then we are connecting it with our exit stroke. So this section is not included in letter c. We are having only this section and then we are headed towards the exit stroke connecting with, Let's start entry stroke this as partial or half entry stroke. Because with overall, if we join injury stroke, if we are making full entry stroke and then if we are joining over partial overlap, then this portion of the entry stroke is extra and it is not required because it does not giving that same shape. We need to create entry stroke, which joins still here. When we are creating this makes sure that you have leached cough or little over half of this one unit. And then giving this partial oval and combining it with the injury stroke. Making this see. Now is letter D. In letter d we are having partial entry stroke because the overall is not accommodating full an entry stroke. So we will be using half of the entry stroke, partial entrance stroke, full oval, and extended undertone. We learned when we were creating the same ways, half or partial entry stroke over extended undertone goods to later. Same way as when we are starting with letter E, partial or will that we made during our letter C, the way we made in our letter C. And then combining it with the exit stroke, giving a slight loop. Coming from here on top to hair. To look at closely. Just have a look. This is the complete or will. We have started the oval from hair down here? And then instead of going back above, we are, we are connecting it with the exit stroke. And then here we are going to give a loop. You can make it like this in one group. You can make partial or will first with the exit stroke and then making a loop from the top to where it is almost this portion, middle of one unit. This is how we believe me. When you look here, you will see all the directional arrows that will help you how each stroke is moving and how to give these drugs in which direction. Once you feel confident and try making these letters on your own, on a blind practice sheet. The space provided in the try on your own section. Let's continue the remaining letters in this segment. We will be heading towards for point B. But before we go there, we will be closing this layer 1 for both the layer and then later division 1.4 makes sure that these are on. Next lesson, we'll straightaway start from this section later 1 for b and we will be on practice layer 1.4 B. 10. Letters divisions 1.4 (part 2) (a, c, d, e, g, o): Let's move on to next layer. That is practice 1.400. And our letter division 1.4 B is open. Here we are combining entry, stroke, width, world or partial or wilts, and we are continuing. They have already done a, c, d, and e will be continuing with g or enqueue hair. In the last lesson, there was some problem with the placement of these strokes on these units, the division units. There. It is much easier to understand. The overall starts from here and here. And then it goes strong. Hair combined with exit stroke and then the loop to your drop to create letter E. Now, next letter is our letter G. And this we are combining Andrew stroke with OVN, descending stem-loop and exit stroke. This is how partial because partial entry stroke because there is an old one. So let me create this over these endings stem loop and exit stroke together when we are making this joining these strokes together. Nitro G now is letter O or is having again injury stroke, partial injury stroke. And then a mini undertone is added. Start. Partial injury stroke. Mini underdogs. Mini undertone starts from here. This portion now is letter Q. Q is having the descending stem-loop datas, again flipped, like redid an F. So it will be easier for you to relate to him. Entry stroke. And it is same as later G, but later GBR having these endings then loop facing this side, towards the left side. And here the ascending stem loop. The loop is facing towards the right side. Make sure that you are descending stem-loop starts from the header line. So the names of all the lines are there for you so that it is easier for you to understand. Now is dry on your own. Once you feel confident making these letters on your own, on a blind practice sheet, practice on your iPad. Let's continue with the remaining letters. Now after completing this, we will be closing these two layers. Practice one-point for B and later division 1 for B. And we'll head towards our last remaining letters of the segment that is Andrey stroke Wednesday attached loops. See you in the next lesson. 11. Letter Division 1.5 (r, s): In this segment, we will be creating the extended entrance stroke, and we'll be learning how to create the extended entrance stroke and create a small loop attached to it. Also, we will learn how to connect this with undertone. With reverse overdose. Let's begin these worksheets. There are some notes that are written side-by-side so that it is easier for you to follow them. So in letter R, we will be creating extended entrance stroke. Extended means it is going beyond the one unit and how beyond how much? 1 fourth of the next slide above. When we talk just this portion, we are dividing this segment and do 1234 means around one segment of this section. Then joining a loop from here. And then in undertone, which we will be combining from this loop that has come diagonally across and down, and then joining this underturn hair. Let's start. We will be making extended entrance stroke. Normal entrance stroke is the inherent. And extended is where we will be creating in one group. We can give a little break here and then joined a loop diagonally down like this. Then joining it with the undertone. This goes in one single movement, entry stroke loop and diagonally down. That your diagnosis should not go beyond this. This is wrong way of making. It should not go like this and joining like this, even this is not a right. For the basic alphabet. We will be doing entry stroke, loop, literal down link 1 fourth, and then joining it with the undertone. So that's me. Now here are the three symbols that are available. You can do that because these letters are a bit challenging to make on your own. I have provided these traceable letters so that you can trace it over and get used to create such strokes. Now when we look at letter S, letter S is having entry stroke, partial reverse oval and an exit stroke with the little loop that is joining with the extended entrance stroke. Let's see. Loop. Here. We have done the same thing that we did for later. Now from here, we will be making reverse oval, starting thin pen and then again slight curve inside the reverse. So the overlay, if you look, this is the reversed over. So we are using this section of oval for our S and we are using slides and moving it inside. Let's make it here. Entries true. Loop, reverse or will lie. Going inside. Partial reverse gold and then exit stroke. So this is how it looks. We'll make it from here to here, and then we'll give a break. And then joining our reverse. And then exits to practice on your own. Once you feel that after tracing these literals, you feel a bit confident, try making these letters on your own. I'm trying and making these little one more time for you. As these are bit difficult. And the letter R, When we are starting from here, makes sure that your undertone starts from here. And it goes slight insight so that it becomes apart of this stroke. And for letter S, loop, extended entrance stroke, loop and reverse over. Again, put a dot hill. You can just leave it like that. Exit stroke. Let's continue our next set of letters in our next lesson. 12. Letter division 2 m,n,z: In our last lesson, we have already completed all the letters that are starting with the entrance stroke, joining with over ascending stem loop, these endings and loops undertones. So we have completed 20 letters, means 76% of our letters are complete in our English alphabet. Now we are heading towards division to make sure to switch these layers off 1.5 board bilayers of 1.5 and make sure that you are on later division two. And we are on graphs to sheet two alphabets that start with overtone, our letter M and NSAIDs. These letters, Let's see how they are made. They start with the overtone and with letter M, there is again an overtone. And then again, we are combining that overturn with the compound. First time it was starting with the overtones, combined again with the overtone. And now again, when we are combining another stroke, that stroke is compounded. Go, Let's start making. For that. We will be creating overtone, then another overtone. Then compound. Go, join them together. Overturn. Overtone. Come bound for later. Same thing as letter M. But the thing is that there is only one overtone under those combined with the combined there is one overtone, one compound. God gives. Overtones. Call. It creates little n. Now, the last letter in this division, letter Z, when we write it this way, we are making overturn. But with the modification does mortified or we're done with slight loop here. Then it is going with the, the ascending stem loop. Even descending stem-loop is slightly modified. It is joining from here to here. Instead of coming like this. It is coming with this loop. We are joining this descending stem-loop with this. Let's look at how literacy it is made. It is it is modified, overtone, slight loop. Then mortified, descending stem. Descending loop, I would say. Then finishing it with B exit stroke. Let's make mortified overturn. Loop. Loop. Then mortified descending stem-loop. This exit stroke. Let's make these letters one by one. This is our baseline, this is our header line and this is our descender line. We'll be creating from the baseline. Overtone, overtone. Come bone girl gives later, I'm overtone. And compound. Go. And Morty flied or war-torn loop. These endings, stem loop, exit, stroke. So make sure when we are creating, this, makes sure that you are, this segment that you are creating. It has the same slant. It is ending at the same slanderous. This portion is coming at the same spot. That makes this little look elegant and harmonized and also balanced. If we go by saying this, it is not giving us, going beyond this line. Does not following the same slant. It is looking a bit different than this one. We cannot make it like this, even this is, this is the right way of creating letter Z following the same slant. As we already discussed. These are wrong for our basic letters. We have completed our second division of letters. In our next lesson, we will be moving straight away to the letter division three, and we will be there on practice sheets three in our next lesson. See you in the next lesson. 13. Letter Division 3 v,x,z: In this lesson, we will be completing our whole letters in the English alphabet. Makes sure that you are on letter division three layer. And on practice, both delayers should be open and tick mark. Let's begin in division three, we are starting with the letters that are starting with compound girl. Let's see what our letters are there, which start with compound curve. It is letter V, x, and y. There are slight modifications when we talk about some letters, inlet over V. When we are making compound curve, it has compound growth and one mini undertones or coma dot. It is creating a compound curve tracer on the place. Virtually staples are there undertone. Make sure to go slowly. There are traceable letters where you can truth or wore them and do the practice. Now next is letter x and little x. There is slight modification done in this next letter x, there is a compound curve. When we look at the compound Gabi have all three lines. All threes lands following the same slant line. But when we are talking about letter X, the letter X is mortified of birth. So it is this and this is same, but this has changed. Let's look. This is how we will be following. Instead of making all these lawns, all these drugs at the same slant, we are making just two strokes at the same slant. This stroke, we are putting it like this. Here are the directional arrows. We will start from here. Like this. And all diagonal crossbar. Diagnose crossbar. You can join this or you can make like this. I always try and make like this because my, this way doesn't make my little beautiful. So I always like this. No, Next is the last letter, Y. It has a compound curve or descending stem-loop exist. This is our baseline, starting with our baseline, making it like this descending stem-loop and exit stroke. There is one more way to create little y. It is Andrew stroke. Underturn. Descending stem-loop would exit stroke when if we are making violate this. So we will be adding this section in this letter y in the first section, where we were joining entry stroke width dy. Under the letter x. For later x, you can create letter X by creating two partial ovals. Like this. There are various variations in the letters. Once you feel that yes, you are thorough with the basic lettering or the basic form of letters, then you can try the radiations. We are doing just the basic letters here. I would like to congratulate you because we have completed our strokes connection. No vectors these letters daily using the letters a to Z practice sheet. Here is the a to Z practice sheet. If we close this layer, we see a to Z practice sheet layer. Here the trace tables are there. And once you are making these letters confidently, dry, making them on your own with the blank practice sheet. We will start combining these various letters to create form words from our next lesson. See you in the next lesson. 14. Letters a to z Revision : So when we're practicing letter a to Z, make sure that you are on letters, practice hair, and then trace it over. Go gradually. Step-by-step. You can speak the names of strokes loudly or in your mind by creating them. Like always. Speak them in my mind while I'm creating these strokes so that I am remembering the name of this drug. Entry stroke, bar show over an exit stroke with the loop. Similarly complete these letters. And once you are feeling comfortable, try making the ladders on your own. From hair. It's a whole space that is provided. You can make it. We have made it to the edge. So I will start with k here. Overtone. You can make beam like this. If you were born. W can be made. In another way. We are combined goal is used. You can put the W letter W in the last segment. Also. If you want to create it like this, compound growth, undertone, mini undertone, more deflate compound go further diagnose crossbar. We will be combining these various letters together to create words or form words from our next lesson. See you in the next lesson. 15. Lesson 6: Letter Connections: An Overview : Welcome to network connections or word formation lesson. We'll first learn to join two letters together. Then we'll gradually start with three letters are four letters, five letters, six letters, more than six letters. So we'll be doing all this work, this lesson. See you in the next lesson. 16. Letter Connections: 2 Lettered Words part 1: Welcome to the word formation lesson. We'll start from joining two letters together. In this lesson, we'll first try these words in a goal or be my ON. Let's look at it one by one. Make sure that you are on practice connection one here, which is above the interconnection one. We need to be there on later connection. And breakfast connection. Here will be the layer that on which we will be tracing over liters. Let's understand these letters first, how these letters are combined together to create a world. There's hair letter I is here. We know how to create it or I, we know how to create it in. No. When we are combining letter I with letter n, letter I has underturn as the last truth. Little n has overturn as the first stroke, last stroke off a little joined with the first stroke of the next letter. So let's have a look how these are connected. Head when we are making undertone for, I, start thinking about overtone and start making overtone. Or later in. In this, we are creating another stroke which is different, which we have not done yet. This is what the stroke is about. This is the stroke. So if we are making the stroke thickness like this, it's a one continuous stroke that we are connecting, the underturn, overturn. This is also called worse compound curve. There are notes, so don't worry about that. Everything is there in your notes. You can follow and understand it more clearly. Once you are done with this lesson, when we are writing later, I would end entry stroke underturn. And in making this underturn, overturn. Right after you have given the skull called the undertone, start thinking now it as overturn. Then combining, combined with this new stroke. Next is letter G and O. That makes, would go. In this, we are making this exit stroke completely for the G. But now next letter is our little o, which means we need to think of merging these two strokes together. It is ending with exit stroke and it is starting with partial entry. When we are making this descending stem-loop, start thinking of the next letter that next letter is having. All. So if we are joining from here and if we are giving our full under full exits through there, it does not going to look good and it does not a connection. In order to give a seamless connection, we need to think of this the moment we are drawing this ascending stem loop and start giving our exit stroke, paint off our next letter as all and and give partial entry stroke because in overall we have partial interest rate. When we are making over. Now, it is giving seamless look. And then again, o is having many undertook so you can create that hair is what we are changing. Has the color, different colors on the word. So you will get to know which stroke is getting changed or which drove mortifying. Next is wood, or here it is having later oh, we will write it the way it is. Now. Next letter is oh, and artists having extended entrance stroke care. And overall in little o, it is ending with the many undertone which ends here. But we need to think of connecting art. So we will continue this stroke as an extended through, extended entrance stroke for later are. Then making a loop from here. And then combining it like this, going up, but this is how many undertone will take. The direction may join them here, going above, beyond this header line. And then next is letter D and E. When they are combined together, they form would be, we will be writing the same ways that we have done with goal. We will do with B because, because it is exhibiting with the exit stroke. Last stroke is exit stroke for bead. And this is partial entry stroke for E. We will be cutting this injury stroke midway to create, to combine it with little e. This is all will make. Ascending stem loop modified. Overturn. Know, instead of going full above building hurdle line will go just halfway through and then creating a world later. There are certain examples in the notes that are given that exit stroke of the previous later becomes the entry stroke of the next. So create a partial entry stroke if the next letter is full or partial oval. And this will be easier for you to understand. And folate for the world or while joining all the letter r or letter S, start thinking of extended entrance stroke or four letter R or S. Once you make the comma dot or mini undertone. 17. Letter Connections: 2 Lettered Words part 2: Next word is, so S is normal. The way we will write the moment we are going to exit, give the exit stroke as the last stroke. Start thinking of later o because it is starting with the partial entry stroke. So we will make only partial injury stroke here and then we'll be connecting our later. This is the change that VR. Next word is my in my venue. See it closely. It's a bit different from the other letters or other words we have done so far, starting with overtone and it is ending with compound. Why is starting with compound goods and ending with exit stroke. Wiggle the ascending stem loop going. When we are making this stroke, the moment we are here, we'll think of making another compound. Then will be joining. Let's have a look. This is the shape that is found when we are joining these two strokes together. Now start thinking of another compound. The moment we are making this last group of letter M as compound growth start making another compound. And then doing this truth. The new shape that is formed while joining letter M or N with letter Y, be prepared to create two continuous compound curves as one stroke as shown in the example words. My. Next is the word on. Now when earlier we did, it was or where we extended the entrance stroke with the mini undertone. No inlet. And the word on. We are connecting this with overtone, undertone with overturn. This. When we are going like this, we need to start thinking of overturn when we are just here. So when we are joining, be thinking of in this is our new shape. Then we are making the word. We are writing o and n to get them joining coma dot or a mini undertone with overtone letter O or W. They have many undertone. And when we are connecting letter M or N, This is the new shape of this truth that is created. Next is no. And when we are reversing it, flipping, now, the letters are different. It does not the same anymore. He will be a moment. We are creating our compound curve of letter N. Start thinking of partial entry stroke for later. Oh, we will stop midway. And then we will be creating this bar show. Andrew stroke for all. Our many undertone will remain as it is. It was changed in this, but now it is the same. Its head. It was saying the compound curve. Here we are modifying it. Whoever you are making it ten. Then we are joining our next middle or the exit stroke of the previous data becomes the entrance stroke of the next letter. As we all know, we have already discussed that. So let's move on to more complex words. Try writing these words on a separate layer. I have provided blind practice sheet. At the end. This is the blind practice sheets that I have provided with the lesson in the workbook so you can practice on it. This is blank sheet on top of it. I have provided a space. Take that on. Practice your words so you can write your words to later or three-letter whatever you are feeling after completing this lesson, you can do that. Let's meet in the next lesson where we'll be learning more complex works. 18. Letter Connections: 3-4 Lettered Words- 1: We have already learned how to connect to letters together to form a word which were already simple and easy. Now we are heading towards more difficult words which are having three or four liters. Practice connection one layer and later connection one layer off. And now we will be doing two hours later connection to. We are on later connection to and we need to be there on graph this connection to Lear so that we can practice these new three or four words, letters that are there are new born, more visuals. Aim, the zoo, joy. Got. It is similar as that all little two-letter words that we have done. We will start straight away. And wherever the new connection is coming, I will explain later is new. How we are going to connect overturn compound curve. But here we need to stop it here because we need to think about our next letter, E, which has the increased stroke, partial entry stroke. And we'll be creating our little e. Then W. For W we have undertone or gain, an undertone. Then a mini undertone, many undertone with gum. Before this stroke. Breakfast for a few more times and then make it over here. Once you feel that you are able to understand and create your own connections, then try making them here so that you know that you are able to create these letters and words on your own. Next is ball. I will start straight away from here. It has an entry stroke, it has ascending stem loop. It has mortified overtones with the dot. It does not going straight away to here because the next letter is, we'll make partial entry stroke for little a because now it is. The entry stroke for then is undertone. Now next letter is the undertone will be complete under Don't fool. And then we'll be connecting the entries, true. Because this four letter L, This will become entry stroke. And this is the ascending stem loop. Undertone. Then again letter else. All the letters are following, they are falling in the same. Next is award more. Overtone. Overtone comes bound. Then stopping midway because there will be taking girdle. Then many undertone would be extension, extended entry stroke for later. Then combining it with the undertone to make later. And then we will not be creating this throughout, but we will be stopping it and combine it with later. Next word is rules and roles. We have undertone. With the undertone we're joining oval so we need to cut it halfway. Then with this many undertone, we are having this splitter. We will be extending this mini undertone to create the look of extended entrance stroke for later. And then we'll be making it here. Then joining later with the exit stroke ending halfway because now this has become the entry stroke for an adult. When we look at our stroke here, it is going beyond the baseline predictor of both the baseline for weaving good too. 19. Letter Connections: 3-4 Lettered Words- 2: Next is word aim. We are joining this I would in the Rayleigh did it in. And when you are starting, we are making diverse compound growth now. Undertone. Again, undertone, but combining it with the overturn, which is creating new stroke, reverse compound growth. Then again, overtone and bone. Next is root hair. The, notice that there are two doubles together. Let us see how to join w, old mortified overdose. Morty fried, these endings stem loop. Instead of going thin hair, go halfway because it is we need to think about our overrun and we need to consider it as our entry stroke. And now when we are making mini undertone, normally we go straight ahead online this point. But hair and other overlays joining. We will make over many undertone as much till this much so that we can join. Combining. We need to stop it here so that we can join over, over. Read this portion as entrance stroke for COVID. Then making the other, the last one has completed. Suppose, if we are having another letter from binding with this, for example, M, that becomes room. How would we make it? It would have been lately, would think or another later like read ordered in on the award on when we did our previous lesson. The same ways you will be connecting the mini undertone and forming the overturn. Now, here we have only four as the ending later, so we will be completing our next. It was joy. We know how to create there to j. Then exit stroke, but we need to think of our next letter O, so we need to got it halfway. Now combine these with over many undertone here. It does not affecting this. You can make this as is, or you can create y as. I'm writing g o by If I'm making y as my compound girl, I need to think or undertone converting into some bounds. Go from here. I need to think of compound growth. I can write y like this, or I can write over this as well. So whichever way you feel count table as a beginner, you can choose that. See, Andrew still does. And now the overlays connecting with the scene normally see is written. Andrew will exit stroke is going till hetero line. But here we will be cutting it into half, connecting our door over there. And then we don't have any issues because we are having an undertone. So the undertone mini undertone week, making it complete mini undertone. Then joining all what extended undertones it for later. And the Grosse graph disease. And let's move on to more conflict. The words in our next year. 20. Letter Connections: 4-5 Lettered Words: Now let's move on to next layer, that is later connection three. And make sure that you are on practice connection tree layer here. And this is how your sheet will look. We will be doing four to five letter words. In this section, we'll be writing words, spray, good, seed and dream, Hopi, maize and kind. So these are the eight words that we'd be writing this election. And if you notice there are words, we'll see how to create those emulator words. I'm starting with the lesson. You can watch these lesson again and again to know how to join the letters properly. First, as I'm writing me know how to be. No, We know instead of finishing it here, the exit stroke of p, we will be going with these extended entrance stroke. Then finishing it with undertone. But we another letter that is coming as a which has only one entry stroke for that is, it will be cutting the undertone stroke, which we are ending into half so that we can create, we can join over next, over. Cool undertone because next we are making y like this. If we had planned for by this point, we need to think of this as making into compound curve will be like this. This is the shape that is going to be formed to get one goal when we are creating our y, when it is starting with the compound. Next word is good. Shoulder injury, stroke over. Stem loop, Bhatia, entry stroke for the next over because the overlap is guarding little mini undertone, stopping it here. Combining over here. Again, we are having another oval, so many undertone will be stopping here. And then joining another over that, over extended undertones. That gives the word good, seed. Extended injuries. With the loop. Diverse over the door. We have partial exists because the next digit over is again. Partial exists because mixed neighborhoods, again, which is partial over them, then again, overdoes, they're older. We leave. Stopping the exhibit care. Again, our whole extended undertone next word is create. Combining this exit with the entrance extended entrants and local. And then joining undertone, stopping there to join me to stopping midway through the exit, exit truth and joining with that. And then under extended mixed is word dream. Show increased stroke or extended under the morphing into extended entry stroke for even need to stop it here, the undertone and then making our War II. Then stopping it midway so that we can join forward. Next letter. Then is undertone, but undertone is combining with the overtone of m. So really creating this and then I didn't know, overturn. And then finishing with our confounder. Next is called a joule named Stanley. Combined. Go for stopping midway because another little mini undertone which we can give them, the dynein is handling stem mortified overtone with the door and not the modified overthrowing the door. No. Wb. Know this is combining with a y. And in this slide we have exit stroke of B and compound growth. Why is joining together? Making the ascending stem loop exit stroke. Next is a maze undertone from binding with the overturn of and then we're done and compound curve but just stopping midway because we have to join and then undertone. But now another overtone is coming for modified overtone is coming for letter Z. From here, we need to start thinking off our mortified overtone. Then Morty flights. The same. These stem-loop bar should exist because mixed later is a word. Now, last word in this section is kind and really right kind. Interstitial. Knees, reverse, flipside or injury stroke connected with the shape that as your job and finishing good halfway and then joining combine girl. This next is I. So we can give all the stroke complete in the header line we can create. And then Dawn, which is combining with the overtone of n, then come bone growth, stopping midway when you are about to finish. Because next later is we need to fix that over and we need to combine that over extended undertone. Because these letters, and let's move on to our next set of words which are becoming more complex and conflict. 21. Letter Connections: 5-6 Lettered Words: In this lesson, we will learn how to join five to six letters words so that you are getting more and more confident the more you practice, the more you get confident. Unbound girls with compound called descending stroke. Exit stroke. Next is reach. Injuries drove extended with the loo, connected with the diagnosis, and then joining undertone to create stopping at midway because next letter is stopping midway because the next letter is a overly joining. Joining will overlap with undertone and stopping it midway because next letter as partial over or bleeding see joining. Links them luke with it. And then come back. Next is welcomed. We'll be writing the words pretty strong, master, official, minimum, yellow, zirconium quickly. Now if you are observing these, these words, they are becoming more complex. Now, make sure that you are in later connection. Make that box checkmark. Open this layer. Practice connection five here, and then practice on it. We are starting with the first toward pretty. Stroke over entry is true for the undertone, extended undertone with extended entrance stroke for are dropping our midway and creating. And then when we are making undertone, we are making mini underdogs. We are making, and they've been good with the overdue impartial neutral. Finishing it with the exit stroke master. Who grew up stopping here, making over for a two, then under extended for that or no. Then go exits true for next, they're dirty, undertone extended and then stopping it. Creating, extending. This true to create later. And then undertone crossbar. Off the show has doubled. It can be tricky if you are new to get it drippy. Think making if this was posted.
