2. What is a Business?: Hello, everybody, and
welcome to this course on how to start a perfume
business and create marketing. My name is Noor sbinofen. And today, we're
going to be talking about what is a business. So first of all, it provides a
product or service. So every business offers
a product or service. So what is the difference
between the two? A product is a
tangible item that solves a customer
need or problem. A service provides value through expertise, labor, or assistance. There are many different types
of products you can offer. You can sell a physical
product that the customer will hold a digital product such
as a chorus book or app, or you can sell
consulting services. Creating a product or service requires a process
of idea generation, research, design, prototyping
and testing and production. Going deeper, every product
or service needs an offer. Even if you are selling perfume, you have to have an offer. Is your offer that bind
your product supports your company and your company
supports a certain cause? Does your perfume have
certain packaging that speaks to your
target market? Do your sense have a
specific theme that aligns with the theme your target
market would be interested in? Are you able to
make people laugh? If the content you create for your perfume business
is entertaining, you will have a digital
product you're offering for free that the offer is that
it will make someone happy. Now, there are different types. So there are two types of businesses typically
talked about, sole proprietorship
and corporations. There are two main
differences between the two, which are legal
structure and taxation. Under the sole proprietorship,
you are your business. If anything legally happens with your business,
you are responsible. Under a corporation,
you're protected. With the sole proprietorship, you will report the income of your business with your
income on your taxes. You will be taxed at the
regular personal rate. With a corporation,
you're taxed twice. First, the corporation is taxed, and then the shareholders are receiving dividends
are taxed again. For the purposes of
this, we're going to be using a sole
proprietorship model. This is because corporations are quite expensive to start and operate as it requires accountants
and sometimes lawyers. Don't worry. You don't need
a corporation right now. However, if your perfume
business becomes successful, you have the resources to figure out how to
start a corporation. Next. It includes risk. Every business involves risk. Although there are
many advantages to businesses such as having your income not be
connected at the time and doing what you
love on your schedule, there are also a lot
of disadvantages, and one of those
disadvantages is risk. One of the biggest risks you're taking is
a financial risk. When you're starting
your business, you don't know if it will work. You're putting in
a lot of effort without a confirmed payoff, and you're also spending
your own money. Another risk is legal risk. You could end up
getting in hot water with another business
or a customer, which would end up in
possible legal punishment, and will definitely end up with a lot of money being spent. Business never become safe. You have to always
keep an eye out and continue to push boundaries
again and again. Business has its advantages
and risk is not one. Different business models. There are many different
business models. We're going to be taking multiple and putting
them together. First of all, is the
product based business. This is where you sell a
physical tangible product that the customer
can hold and use. There are digital products
which are transmitted digitally and downloaded
to the customer's device. There are a commerce stores, which offer their
products, whether they are digital or physical
on a website. Customers can place an
order on these websites and get the product delivered
directly to them. Then there are marketplaces
where you don't offer a product instead you offer a place where others
can sell products. There are brick and
mortar stores that have a physical location and hold
all the products at once. There are many different
business models to choose from. For the purposes of
this, we're going to be mixing physical
products and need commerce that might later
on in digital products. Creates jobs. The main way most people make their money is with income through a job. Entities offer direct
employment and allow people to trade their time for money in return for the use
of their skills. But businesses aren't the
only ones to offer jobs. There are also jobs
in the public sector that are funded by
the government. Jobs are incredibly important because the state of a nation can sometimes be explained by the amount of people
in the workforce, jobs available, types
of jobs and education. Profit. Unless your
business is illegitimate, you're going to want
to make a profit. Profit is what
sustains a business. Every business is trying
to increase their profits, whether that be from improving manufacturing to making the
packaging less expensive, making the product or
service more expensive, or either making labor
cheaper or more efficient. Now let's talk about
different departments. There are many
different departments and a corporation. HR. HR handles recruitment,
training, development, and manages employee
relations in regards to laws and regulations. Finance, finance and
accounting manage budgeting, financial planning,
financial reporting, and payroll, marketing. Marketing develops
marketing strategy, market research, advertising,
and branding, sales. Sales is the job of creating customer relationships to
achieve sales targets. IT. IT stands for information technology and it contains managing
the IT network, cybersecurity and
data Management. Legal. The job of legal is
to ensure legal compliance, intellectual
property protection, risk assessment, and
legal representation. And lastly, business
provides value. The most important
thing to know about a business that it
has to provide value. There are many types of value. If a business can make something more convenient for a customer, then they have provided value. If you educate
people and help them become more educated,
you have provided value. If you're a business stands for a good social cause
and gives back, that might be valuable
to the customer to know they supported
a cause they love. You may think some companies
don't provide value, but that's because they're
not valuable to you. I personally don't believe Lockheed and Martin
provides value, but I'm not the whole market. The United States and
Israel are huge customers, and they think Lockheed
Martin is a valuable company. So that's what is a business, and I'll see you
in the next one.
3. Why a Perfume Business?: Welcome back to starting a perfume business and
creating marketing. My name is or smfen
and today we're going to talk about why
a perfume business. So first of all, it's
a passion project. Most women in some men
are interested in sense. There are a lot of people
who like smelling good and finding a unique smell
that matches who they are. Starting a perfume business is probably something you're
very passionate about, and I've always wanted to
do, but never knew how. That's why I wanted
to do this course. I want to teach you everything
from creating the product, designing packaging, getting
an online store setup, and creating
marketing materials. If you're here, it's because
you believe you have an idea that you could bring to perfume that would change
the way people use it. You have an idea for a sent
people would love, packaging, you think would
be beautiful or a mission statement you know
people would resonate with. Starting a perfume business is a great passion project
because it allows people to create a product
they already are in love with. Good margins. Just like most products
in the beauty niche, perfume has very high margins. In fact, you'll
probably spend more on packaging than you'll
spend on anything else. Perfume margins of
around 50 to 75%, which means you have a
safe margin to work with. As I said earlier, margins are the lifeblood
of your business. So the fact we're
already starting with high margins is great. Remember that your margins
will only get better over time as you end up
buying bigger proportions, therefore, bringing down
your cost per unit. Okay. Next, you'll help people. The way you dress, the way
you talk, the way you walk, the way you smell,
the way you chew, everything tells who you are. Perfume is great
because it allows people to smell the way
they want to be presented. At a time when people feel uneasy with the companies
they're supporting, you can be a solution. Your business may donate a certain amount of
each sales to charity. This helps people
twice because you're helping customers get
a product they want, while also supporting
a cause they love. By building a perfume business, you're helping your
target market present themselves the way they
want to be presented. Lots of room for
unique branding. What's great about
perfume is that most of the sales in the
marketing and packaging. This is great for creatives because it means you
can let your creativity shine through and you can create designs that speak to
your target market. The product isn't the only way you can show your creativity. Your marketing will also do a great deal in selling
your product. Let your artistic side shine with your
marketing and create content that makes
your target audience feel like you're talking
directly to them. I will teach you how to make high quality content for social media using only your phone. Huge market with
differentiation. The market for perfume is huge. It's currently valued
at $40 billion. That means that we aren't
creating a new market. We're hopping into a
tried and tested one. People are already used to
buying perfume machines. We're not changing anyone's
spending or consuming habits. Even though the market is huge, there's still a ton of
room to be different. Half cents that
typically aren't sold, support a cost which each sale, pay your employees in
an extremely fair wage. There are many ways you can make your company different
to make people want to buy from
you more than they want to buy from
any other company. Shipping. Because we want to ship our product
nationally at the lease, it's important to
make sure what we're shipping is the right size. The great thing about perfume is it's the perfect
size to ship. The only thing we have
to keep in mind is we need poly bags to
hold our product. This is because if our
product breaks well shipping, we don't want it to
spill over everything. It is also a requirement
to have your perfume in a clear poly bag if
you're selling on Amazon. So that's why a
perfume business. I'll see you in the
next one. Okay.
4. How To Create Perfume: Hello, everybody,
you're watching start of perfume business
and create marketing. And today, we're
going to be talking about how to create perfume. So we've gone into the anal
workings of a business, and why perfume business
is a good idea. Now we're going to
discuss the process of actually creating
your perfume. Ingredients. There are many different ways
to make perfume. Keep in mind when creating perfume that I need
to have high notes, middle notes, and base notes. Examples of high notes
are basil, grapefruit, lavender, lemon lime, mint, rosemary, and sweet orange. Examples of middle notes are
black pepper, cardmm, bay, fennel, geranium,
chamomil and nutmeg. Examples of base
notes are Cyprus, ginger, pine, sand and vanilla. When you're putting your
oils into your perfume, remember that you
need 30% high notes, 50% middle notes,
and 20% low notes. Now, let's talk
about ingredients. For our sense, we're
going to use Max. Makes is a great
website for supplies to create goods such as
candles soaps and perfumes. There are 12 pages to go
through under fragrance oils, which means you're bound
to find a sent you love. The website also spray
bottles and roller bottles, which also allows you
to get your perfume ingredients from the same place. To make your perfume, the first thing you
need are your oils, browse the Makes website
and see if you can find scents that resonate with the brand you want to create. There are order 12
pages to choose one, so you're bound to
find one that works. Next, you're going to
need a carrier oil. This is an oil that will make the scent last
longer on your skin. For this, you can use sweet
almond oil or job gobo oil. Then you're going to
need perfume alcohol. This is to blend
everything together. Then you're going to want
to add your preferred amount of distilled water. Lastly, you're going to need a bottle to hold your perfume. You can find tons of
different varieties on websites such as Amazon. Process. Now, what's happened to the process of creating
your own perfume. Remember that for the
purposes of this, I'm using a ten
milliliter bottle. First of all, clean the
area and make sure you have a safe place to do all the
measuring and combining. Get all your ingredients
together close by. Once you have
everything together, you're going to want
to grab your oils. Put three to five
drops of high not oil, four to six drops of
your middle note oil and three to five drops
of your low none oils. Now in your bottle, combine the fragrance of oils
with the carrier oil. A good rule of
thumb is ten to 20% fragrance oil is
to carrier oils, but you'll have to test it and find what works best for you. Add a small amount
of perfume alcohol to help everything
blend together. Add your desired amount of distilled water if
it's too strong. Next, you're going to
want to close the bottle tight and shake it so
everything mixes together. Once you've mixed
it in, leave for 24 hours in a dark
place. There you go. You now have your very
own custom perfume. Cost. Now what's happened to the cost of creating a ready
to sell perfume bottle. For the purposes of this
course to make things easy, I'll be using USD as this
is the most used currency. Let's get right into it. For the purposes of this course, I'll be using ten milliliter
or 0.33 ounce spray bottles. On Amazon, I can get five
spray bottles for 11 USD. For my sentence, I'll use makes Japanese Onsen and
forest bathing oil, peppered citrus,
and cashmere clipil and the celestial
AzingGlden solace oil. Let's break down the
cost for each one. For a ten milliliter bottle or 0.33 ounce of fragrance
oil, it costs 4905. This is for all the
scents we're using. Remember, we're only
using three to six drops of perfume per bottle, and a ten milliliter or 0.33 ounce bottle will
provide around 200 drops. Next is the carrier oil. We'll use sweet almond oil, which we can buy 100
milliliters for or 3.3 ounces for for 7205 USD. For 10705, we can get 16
ounces of rubia alcohol, and for nine 50, we can get four liters of
distilled water. This brings our cost
to each unit to 0.37 for the fragrance
oil per bottle, 2.2 per bottle, 0.75
for the carrier oil, and the other two
are negligible. Remember that to sell a
product on Amazon and will need to be in a clear poly bag with a suffocation warning. This will cost 32
USD for 1,000 bags. That's a cost of less
than 0.04 per bag. That brings our cost
to 3.73 per bottle. In the next few modules, I will explain to you how we're going to price our perfume. Thank you for watching. I'll
see you in the next one.
5. What is Marketing: Hello, everybody. Welcome
back to the course. In this section,
we're going to be talking about what is marketing. Even though we're p marted
by marketing every day, most people don't really
know what marketing is. In this module, I
want to look into what marketing is and what
it can do for your business. Getting your business
in front of people. A large part of marketing is getting your business
in front of someone, whether it be
audibly or visually. You want customers to
see your logo, message, or product, and
each of those have a different level of
interest in your business. If someone doesn't know who you are, they
can't buy from you. What's great about digital marketing is you
can give yourself a global audience with a few videos with a little editing. Remember that if you
know your product can solve a customer's problem, it's your duty to get your
product in front of them. If you're solving a need
people want solved, they're going to be looking
for a product like yours. Create educational content
around your product and people will develop a relationship with your brand and be
there to support. The more people
who see your brand in a positive way, the better. Again, I'm specifying
that they have to see your business
in a positive way. You don't want to drive your
business to negativity. There are more ways than ever in the modern age to get your
business in front of people. You can use social media. You can do gorilla
marketing and put up posters and you can participate
in Facebook groups. There are more ways
than ever to get your brand and business
in front of people. Because people want to
see creative marketing, if you can captivate people
with a powerful message, you'll find yourself getting
a loyal fan base that follows your business
because they stand with your
mission statement. First step of sales. The whole sales
process is a funnel. You have a lot of
people at the top of the funnel who have minimal
interest in your business. Then as you go further
down the funnel, you find less people but ones
that are more interested. Well sales is lower
down the funnel, once someone is ready to buy, marketing is at the
top of the funnel, getting someone interested
in the business. Marketing is the first
step of sales and is responsible for
qualifying customers. Sales and marketing both have equal purpose and the
two go hand in hand. If you have great marketing, sales will be easy
because the customer will be familiar
with your brand. And if you have great sales, you will find no problem convincing people to
buy your product. You need to take time to
educate people at the top of the funnel so they
have an opportunity to turn into a buying customer. With digital
marketing, especially, it's incredibly easy to take your customer through all
the stages of the funnel. You can keep in
touch with them on social media or through
text and e mail. There are a lot of ways
to create a funnel that educates customers and takes them through the sales funnel. Educating your audience is a long term plan that won't create results in
the first month, but will pay off years after you create the
educational content. Connecting with your
audience at the right time. If you're putting a
lot of effort into your content and you're
filling it with value, people want to
find your content. That means you have to
define your audience and know exactly who
you're making content for. For example, let's say
you're selling recipes. Middle aged moms want
to find your content, giving baking advice
and cooking tips. When someone looks
up your business, you need to be the first result. That means that you shouldn't
go for short tail keywords. It means you need to
find unsaturated terms you know you can
rank number one for. The sale happens when you put the right product
in front of the right person at the right time. This isn't hard in the
modern age because your videos keep getting
views without you knowing. This means you could be eating
a bag in the morning and someone on the other side of the world is bringing
your content. The four Ps. There are
four Ps in marketing. Price, product,
place, and promotion. Let's talk about each one. Price. There are many questions
when it comes to price. How much are you going to charge your customers for your product? How much does it cost for you to produce one unit
of your product? How much can you
spend on marketing while still making
a stable profit? Price is very important
because it's one of the first things people
look at. You need a close. You need to keep a close
eye on how much you're spending and how
much you're making. Product. Let's break down
some common questions. How long how long does it
take to create one unit? Why should someone
buy your product? What are the features
of your product or the benefits
of your business? Is the product bought one or
does it have to be replaced? What can we not make ourselves? What do we have to have made
by a different operation? There are many
important questions in regards to your product. The location of your
operations is also important. Where will you
sell your product? Do you have a physical location or are you doing it all online? Where are your operations? Where will your product
be manufactured? What do you have to
have shipped in? Where are they located? Where will you
store your product? It's very important to
have a good location for your business when it
comes to suppliers and also distribution. Promotion. Promoting
your product is very important because
that's how people find out about your business
and your brand. Where will you
market your product? Will you do it in person or
will you use digital means? What social media
sites will you use? How are you going to make
people care about your brand? Why is it important for
people to buy now instead of later? Soolving problems. If you're confident that
you have a solution to a customer's problem,
then you have a business. The purpose of a good business is that
it solves a problem. This is why you need to
analyze the market and see what problems you can solve that aren't being solved by
any other perfume brand. When you're creating your brand, you should be thinking
about how you can make someone's life
better with your product. There are many forums online where your target
customer has voiced their concerns about
what they find wrong with current companies. Find where there are
problems and fill the need. If you solve a problem,
you will make money. Not just selling. It is no
longer just your job to sell. It is not your job to
educate your customer. Take what you specialize in
and create content around it. A clothing store should
post outfit ideas, and your perfume business
should post content about every aspect of
starting a business. With digital marketing,
it's your job to teach your customer and
educate them on your industry before
you sell them. If you educate, you will help a customer become more informed, which will
make them trust you. People only buy from
people they trust. Finding creative ways
to promote your brand. You need to always
be on the lookout for creative ways to
promote your brand. On social media, there
may be a trending sound. What's that video you can
make to a sound that would relate to the customers while also promoting your business? Is there someone who's
popular in the media that you can make a video about
relating to your brand? Is there a popular format that's trending that you can
put a creative twist on? There are so many options for creative marketing,
it's mind blowing. Describing products
in a creative way. You've shown your business
in a creative way. Now let's move to your product. What's a feature of your product that will make
someone want to buy? What's a benefit
to someone's life that will happen if
they use your product? Make customer familiar.
With social media, you'll have a collection of
posts you've uploaded over time that explain who you are and consistently get
viewers over time. The customer should
watch your content and develop a sense of trust
with you and your brand. You should be a close friend
to your customer with the relationship you
develop by them, watching and engaging
with your content. You customer should
be familiar with your product before you
ever try to sell it. They should know what
your product is, how much it costs, and how it's going to
improve their life. They should know
enough about your product that they
could sell it to you. The best way to make your customer familiar
with your brand and product is to create content that educates them
on your industry. Although some people are on social media to be entertained, many want to learn something. That's the audience
you want to tap into. Before you ever sell
to your customer, they need to know who
you are and trust you. Once you figure that
out, sell away. Understanding customer needs. You need to know everything
about your target market. How old are they? What
social medias do they use? What type of content
do they post? What types of jobs do they have? What are their hobbies? What
are the causes they support? Where have they've been
vocal about their needs? What is their biggest problem
with their competitors? You need to understand
who your customer is in and out before you
can ever sell to them. Art and science. Some of marketing is being more
creative than your competitor. Who's making the more
impactful content? Who has a stronger message? Who's doing more for the world? But some of marketing is broken down into how well
you are selling? What are features that
sell your product? How can you make someone
want to buy now? Your marketing needs
to have a statement. You need to have
a powerful vision that drives not
only your business, but also drives your
customers to buy. Your marketing needs
to be ubiquitous, and needs to make sense for
anyone checking you out. It has to mention experiences that are shared by everyone. Your marketing also has to have specific messages
for certain people. This will make people feel
included with your brand. You need to read books on sales strategies and how to sell. Your product is only as
strong as your marketing. You also need to be honest and
provide educational value. No one wants to buy from
a deceitful salesperson, which is why we post
content to develop trust. Be honest with your intentions and and your audience
will appreciate it. Being adaptable. Every day, there are new marketing
opportunities and trends. You need to say updated
on what's going on so you can have a
winning marketing campaign. See what's trending and being talked about and figure
out how you can bring people from talking
about what is big to talking about
your business. What worked yesterday
may not work today. It's your goal to stay adaptable and figure out what works best. When you're doing
marketing, don't get too invested in one idea. The market decides whether
an idea is good or not. So put out content and let
people decide what's best. So that's this section
on what is marketing. I'll see you guys
in the next one.
6. What is Digital Marketing: Hello, everybody.
In this module, we're going to be
talking about what is digital marketing. Let's hop right in. Utilizing digital platforms
to spread your brand. The great thing about digital
platforms is that you can reach a global audience from the comfort of your home. It doesn't matter what you're doing. There's an
audience for it. Every social media has communities around
different interests. Means it doesn't matter what
you're posting videos about. If you know who
you're posting for, then you will have an audience. Remember that the
medium is the message. The place you're
posting your content to says more about your content
than the content itself. You have to remember that on
every platform is different. A video that does
well on one platform may not do so well on another. Every platform will resonate with a different part
of your business. Well on tick docu arts videos of you doing something
you love with your perfume in the foreground, you're reading in ora, maybe you helping others
create perfume. Okay. Contains SEO
and advertising. Search engine optimization or SEO is where you
use keywords and optimizations to rank higher for a specific search term
in search engines. The best way to be shown high search githm post
highly engaged in content. Advertising on
digital platforms is amazing because it
works with any budget. You can spend as little as $5 or spend hundreds of thousands. It's scalable for any
business and gives you a full speed of analytics so you can see what works and
what doesn't work. Well, digital advertising works short term is and you can get
results back immediately. SEO is a long term strategy that involves putting
up a ton of content, ranking it, and then
reaping the benefits, both work hand in hand. Okay. Includes e mail marketing. Every business you can think
of uses e mail marketing. That's because it works. If it didn't work, people
wouldn't use it. You have to send out with
your e mails, however, too many companies send generic low value e mails that don't help or
entertain anyone. The best rule of thumb is to act like your customers
paying for your e mails. Let's say your
customers were spending $5 a month to be in
your email list. What types of e mails
would you send? I can assure you that your e mails will be
different if you act like your customers are paying versus if they're
getting it for free. Your customers should be
excited to get your e mails. Paid or organic. There
are two main ways of getting traffic
and that's through pay traffic or organic traffic. Pay traffic is paid
for per click or per view and you can usually get
results back the same day. Organic traffic on the
other hand is free, but it takes a while to develop. Organic traffic is great
because first of all, it's free, and second of all, it develops a deeper connection
with the customer. People resonate with content
they find organically, more than content they
find with through an ad. The great thing about
pay traffic is that you can get it same day
by spending money. This means if you
have a winning ad and you're making a
four times return, you're essentially
spending $1 to make $4, so you're printing money.
Usually video marketing. Video marketing is
extremely important because video is the most popular way for people to consume content. Video reains supreme on social media and it will
continue to remain supreme. Even websites like
Pintras that were once only photos have
started to use video. Video content is
great because it's the most engaging way to teach someone about your
product or service. As long as the video is high
definition has good cuts, Crisp audio and
teaches the audience, you'll be able to
garner an audience. Video content is the best performing content
on any platform. On Instagram, for example, the easiest way to
go viral is through the video feature
called Instagram Reels. Video content is amazing
on every social media. I'll be providing a Toral and how to create
and edit videos on your phone using CAP cut. Allows for AB testing. AB testing is where you test
two different campaigns with a similar audience and see which one performs better. With traditional media,
there's no way to do AB testing without spending
thousands doing focus groups. With digital marketing, you can do AB testing
for extremely cheap, if not free and get
results back immediately. Try two different headlines on your landing page and see
which one converts more. Test two different
offers and see which one resonates with
your audience more. Your goal is to incrementally improve every day
until your offer. Add or product is perfect. You need to have a lean
mindset with your business. Don't put all your
eggs into one basket. Find what works and keep
investing in those small wins. Those small wins over time
will turn into a huge success. Create an affiliate program. One of the coolest
things about having a digital business is you
can have an affiliate. Give people a share of the sale if they
bring you business. This is free marketing
because the affiliate will do the hard work of finding
leads and qualifying them. All you have to do is
supply the product. This is great because not only will it bring you more sales, you'll also be helping
other people bring in an income from online means. Every platform is different. As I said earlier, the
medium is the message. Where you post is more
important than what you post. Different content
works differently on different social
media websites, which means you have a custom tailor approach to each one. The same nice will react differently on
different platforms, which means you have to test
what content works best. Best digital marketing.
I hope you enjoy it, and I'll see you in
the next module.
7. What is Social Media Marketing: Hello, everybody.
Welcome back to how to start a perfume business
and create marketing. My name is Nesmnof today. We're going to be
talking about what is social media marketing? It's using social media
to sell to customers. You can't just hard sell to
a customer. Think about it. When you're buying from a brand, it's because you
trust that brand and have a relationship with it. If someone doesn't
have a relationship with you, you can't
sell to them. Your goal is to
guide your customer through every step
of the funnel. Maybe you get them interested in your business through
your Instagram reels. Then you might move them
onto an e mail list. From there, you might educate them about your products until they're ready to
buy at which point you'll direct them
to your website? You may be wondering
how you sell? There are many
indirect ways that are still selling your
product are banned. You need to post content about every process of creating
and managing your business, so customers develop trust and
want to purchase from you. Ue social media as a complimentary
tool to your business. If you're doing a business task, think about how you can
turn it into content. Everything you do
to your business can be turned into a post. Providing value with content. There are many ways
you can provide value. If you're good at
making people laugh, that's a form of value that
you can turn into content. If you're a good
teacher, make create educational content around your industry that
educates the viewer. Two of the best ways to deliver content is through
photo and video. Make sure you find
what works for you and get better
incrementally every day. Usually free. One of the greatest things about social media marketing is you
can do it for free. It costs nothing to
start posting videos, and it doesn't matter if
your video goes viral, you still don't have to pay. Of course, if everything
is working well, you may want to dabble and paid ads and give yourself
an extra push, but even at a high level, this is completely optional. Interact with customers
every step of the funnel. Social media marketing is great because you
can interact and create content for people at all stages of the sales funnel. If someone doesn't know
about your business, you can create content
that teaches them who you are and what your
mission statement is. If someone is somewhat
familiar with your business, you might want to educate them about your product
and its features. If someone have been watching
your content for a while, you're going to
want to tell them where they can buy your product. You can sell to
people at all stages of the funnel with
social media marketing. So that's this section and I hope to see
you in the next one.
8. Every Social Media Explained: Everybody. In this section, we're going to be talking
about every social media and explaining everyone. Let's jump right in. YouTube. We're going
to start with YouTube. YouTube is the world's second
most popular search engine and the most popular search
engine for video content. The content on video on
YouTube can be short form in the form of shorts or long form like a
typical YouTube video. People of every age U YouTube. It's quite ubiquitous
at this point and there aren't a lot of people who
don't know what YouTube is. For creating content for YouTube, I would
recommend a mix of. Short form and long form. You should post short
form content of artistic shots you perfume while doing activities you love. Your long form content
should be keeping a video diary of every
step of your business. The reason you want to do this is because
months down the line, you may have customers find
videos of you building your brand and because they
see your whole process, it will create a
special relationship with trust for the brand. Instagram. Instagram is a great place
to market your brand. Instagram is used mainly
by people aged 16 to 34. Instagram allows for photo and video content on its platform. Artistic videos perform well on Intagram as well
as comedic videos. One of the first
social media accounts, people will check with a
new brand in for Instagram. That's why it's so
important to get your Instagram
account optimized. A format that works
well on Instagram is having text stay on
screen the whole video. Well, you have to play
in the background. Instagram is a very
active community, so make sure you're
posting to Instagram. TikTok. TikTok is used mainly
by people aged eight to 25. Post can be photo or video and can be up to
10 minutes long. TikTok is a very
fast paced platform. Most viewers will swipe away in the first second if the video
doesn't engage immediately. Content that does extremely well on TikTok is video diaries. An example is the
day one of starting a perfume business and then
making a new one each day. Keep track of everything
you do while creating your business and post
the videos to TikTok. Pints. Pintras is used
mainly by women of all ages. Pints used to only be
for photo content, but now allows video
content as well. Pints is a great place to take artistic photos or
artistic videos, your product or business is the audience on Pintras is looking for stylized photos and videos. Because we're starting
a perfume business, we want to make sure we
have a strong presence on Pintra as the audience
is mainly women. Facebook. Facebook is a mainly older
audience of men and women. Facebook allows all
types of content, whether it be audio,
video, photo or text. A great way to promote your
business is to be active in Facebook groups around your
target markets interests. If you can develop
trust in these groups, you'll be able to
market your product and potentially get sales. X. On X, the best way to promote your brand is to respond
to popular posts and comment something witty. This is the easiest way to have a viral tweet that brings
people to your X profile. Keep Acuman communities,
your target market is located in and make a name for
yourself from the replies. Reddit. Reddit has communities for almost anything
you can think of. Join perfume
communities as well as communities that your target
market spends time in. Don't try to sell anything. Just try to understand the unspoken rules
of the community, and when the time is
right, you can mention your business as it relates
to the post at hand. People on Reddit don't
like self promotion, which means you can't ask
people to buy from you, but you can't ask them how
your packaging looks. Cora. Okay. Core is a great place to become an authority
in your nice. Answer questions about running
a perfume business and answer questions
that are related to the market you're selling to. Your goal is to create
high quality answers to questions that make
people want to ask questions about your brand. That's all the social media. Hope you enjoy these
sections here, and I'll see you
in the next one.
9. CapCut Tutorial: Hello, everybody. Welcome back. And in this module,
we're going to be explaining how CP cut works. So first of all, just
click New Project. Allow access to photos, and I'm just going to put
in this one right here. So, as you can see, there are a lot of things on
the bottom here. At the very top, you have your settings to
adjust the quality, frame rate, code rate. I would recommend leaving
this all the same except unless you want to
change the resolution. And if you want to
export, you're just going to click that
bottom on the top right. But now, let's start
messing with this video. So let's actually add
a photo as well. Okay. There we go. So now you can see the
bottom we have edit. So that will open up a clip. And once we do
that, we can split the clip and make
two different clips. Now we can drag this
and put it over here. We can edit the speed so we
can make it slower or faster. Now you can see that
it's been slowed down. We can edit animation so we can make a transition in
and a transition out. So now you can see a transition
in and a transition out. We can change the style of it. So, this one's for
photos. So let's go here. Let's go basketball.
There you go. And then if you go over
here, you can delete it. You can enhance the
voice on the video. So just click that, and that
will enhance the voice. You can isolate the voice. So you can keep voice. Of course, this is
with the pro plan. So we can't do that right now. You can retouch, so you
can touch up the face or the body camera tracking. This is if you want to track like your face or
something like that, so you can track it here
or you can go AI movement, and there's some choices
here for video movement. Let's go back. Then you have volume, of course. You can make it, quieter. Then you can transform
it, so you can rotate it. You can resize it or you
can mirror it. There we go. And then we have adjust. So this is where
you're able to adjust things such as like
the brightness, the contrast, the
saturation, brilliance. You can sharpen it. Here you have some settings to
change with the color. So let's go like
this. Let's reset it. Then you have graphs. So you can edit all your different curves. You can just tap
to add a new one. You can go to different
colors and change it. There we go. Highlights, shadows,
temperature, hue, fade, Vignette and grain. So those are all the
options in that. Then you have video quality. This one, you can reduce image image quality
and remove flickers. That's what the pro version.
Then you have filters. So these are kind of the filters that the app comes with
that you can add on. So instead of going through all the different
things and adjust, you can just go to filters. Then we can go to basic, and we can see that we can move it here,
we can rotate it. Remove background. I'll just
show you how that works. There we go, I'll remove
the background on this one. And now we can also make a mask. Let's say we want to put
another clip in here. We can also make a
circle, and I'll mask it. Duplicate. That's if you want to make a
copy of your clip, replace if you want
to replace it with another clip, extract audio. If you want to take
the audio from the clip and make
it an audio track. Then you have
copyright, checking your video for copyright, sound effects, extract voiceover is where you record
your voice overs. And then custom voices where
you just record your voice. O sorry. I is where
you record your voice, and then it makes
an AI copy of it. Next, on the bottom,
we have audio. So in audio, you have sounds. You can see all the sounds
that you've uploaded. As you can see here,
I can upload a sound. So let's go cold play. And I can add that in
here. There we go. So that's in there.
You have brand music. So that's when there's
branded music. I will come up there. Copyright, making
sure your clip has no copyright, sound effects. They have a ton of
different noises. A lot to choose from.
Then you have extract. You can find video and audio
from there and voice over. The next one is
going to be text. So with text, you can
add texts like this. My name is Lenore. And you can change the font. You can change the style of it. I usually go into effects
and go basic and take. Where is it? This
one right here. But of course, you can change
a lot of things in styles, like you can change the stroke, you can change the glow. There we go. You can change
the background. There we go. And there's actually
another option in text and that side stickers. And you can actually create
your own sticker with AI. So let's try a cup of coffee. Oh, I just have to sign in
with Apple really quick. Okay. Give me 1 second. There we go. Let's just generate a cup of coffee. There we go. And now we can add that into
our project. Just like that. So you can see that
I made that with AI, which is pretty cool. This is one I made
before, sauce. That's another thing that
you can create pretty cool. But of course, there are a lot of other options for stickers. You can use emojis, and they also have some
that come with it. Next is auto captions. So if you have audio
on your video, you can add auto
captions that will automatically take what you say and make them into captions. AI packaging is for adding things like
for certain keywords. It will show certain
things on screen, certain animations,
text templates. There's some right here. And then auto lyrics, if you have a song and then draw if you want to draw on
your project like that. So now let's jump into overlay? If you want to put
an overlay down, you just click on that, find what you want to overlay
and put it down like that. You can drag it Okay
Next is effects. So you can add video effects. You can also add body effects. So for this one right here, I'm just going to delete this. I can sec. Let me just delete that overlay. Now we're going to
go here. And we are going to go video effects. Well, let's go body effects. Let's see You couldn't
see it for too long. I'll make it a
little bit. You can see that it does that
right behind me. So a lot of really cool
things you can do. Next, you have templates. And the templates are usually
absolutely atrocious. I don't like any of them. I don't think any
of them are good. They're all super cringy. So I would not recommend
using any of these. Then you have your aspect ratio to change the size
of your video. Let's say we want to
do it for the TikTok. Filters. It is just
riding filters again. Adjust, just like I
said before, stickers, and then background allows you to change the
background of a video. So let's go to the one
where There we go. And we can change
the color of it. So let's change it to red. So. There we go. So that's how to use cap cut. That's a quick tutorial. And the next one, I'm going
to be making two videos live for you in Cp cut.
So I'll see you then.
10. Creating Content Live: Hello, every buddy.
In this module, we're going to be
creating our first video. So let's just import
some of the video here. We need this one here. We need we'll tell you if it's added, we need
this one here. Oh, I need to go to the drag this over
here, go to the end. There we go. So now let's
start cutting this video up. So, this video, the
whole point of it is, like, somebody feels bad.
They smell the perfume. They feel astatic. And then the other
person has to take it back from him because
he likes it too much. So let's just do P, like, I'm having such a bad day. Day. So let's cut this
again, this next clip. There we go, now, let's
drag this one over here. To try this perfume. We go so now look at this. Well, like, I'm having
such a bad day. So try this perfume. Let's do this. Well, no, I actually want
to zoom in on my face here. So after I spray it, I want to add you
want to click on the clip and click
this right here. And then you're going to
want to go down here. I'm going to cut the clip here. We're going to put
another one right here, and then we're going to
zoom in on this one. So now. There we go. So now Like, I'm
having such a bad day. To try this perfume. See that. There we go. Let's cut this one. There we go. So now our
clip looks like this. So, like, I'm having
such a bad day. To try this perfume. See that. And then this is
me looking at him. Okay, I'm ready. Let's do this. There we go. Let's
drag this back here. So, there we go. Now,
this is our video. So now, we're
actually going to add some audio right
here after it in. Let's go to sounds, and let's go cold play paradise. She is. So I'm just
trying to find the point where she is paradise. Then she wants to stick in the W she. We're going to cut it
a little bit before. Now we're going to drag it. And we're going
to drag it around right here. The treatment. And then we're going
to cut the audio out abruptly right here. Okay, I'm going to take
that perfume back. There we go, can, let's
watch our whole video. Well, like, I'm having
such a bad day. To try this perfume. See that. Treatment. Okay, I'm going to take
that perfume back. There we go. So then when
we want to export it, just click the button
in the top right. And then we'll
export it for you. There you go. That's exactly
how you create a video. That's me doing it live. I'm going to make
one more for you. I'll see you in the next one.
11. Creating More Content Live: Hello, everybody,
and welcome back. In this last module
for the CAP cut, we're going to be
creating one more video. So let's import the video. I know exactly
which videos it is. Let's add them all in there. And so this video is going to be there's a trend on TikTok, where you go on
other social media, but mainly TikTok, where you
go to a mirror and you say, day one of X. And then you go to the
mirror the next time, Day two. Then you
maybe do a week. Of course, you don't
actually do it, but you're just making a joke. So, you say, day
one of doing this, day two of doing this
one week of doing this. And every time you
do it, you're in, like, a different condition. So maybe you're in a better
condition as it goes on. Maybe you get worse
as it goes on. Maybe it gets different
as it goes on. It has to just change
as it goes on. So let's go here. This is me one day
without using perfume. Two days, no perfume. One week without perfume. Okay. That's it. That's
it. There we go. Okay. And we might add some text
on screen for this one. Trying to go without perfume. Let's go to effects. Let's
add a drop like a shadow. Just take a little
bit. Sorry about that. I don't think this one's
going to be working. So let's just go like this. Let's put the video right there. And now let's just
have a run for a little bit of the
video like this. So no. Let's watch the video. This is me one day
without using perfume. Two days. No perfume. One week without perfume. Okay. So that's the video here. We're just going
to export that now by quicking the bottom
in the top right. When you do create a video, we'll have a cap cut thing at the end. You will
have to, like this. You will have to cut
that out by deleting it. There is also a sending
when you open up the app to get rid
of that by default. So we're just going
to export that. And then there we go. So I'll see you all
in the next one.
12. Canva Tutorial: Hello, everybody. Welcome
back to the course. Today, we're going to be
giving you a Canva tutorials. I'm going to giving
you an outline. In the next couple of classes, I'm going to teach you
how to make a logo on Canva and how to make
the packaging in Canva. What's top right
in? First of all, you're going to get
a screen like this. It's going to give
you some options of different sizes of projects. You're going to want to
click P create a design and create custom
size. For this? We're going to go 2000
by 2000 press enter. You're going to have
your project right here. As you can see, you can
change the background of it. The first thing is going
to show you design, and it's going to show you some templates that you can use. There's a lot of different
ones you can use. Let's say you're
doing a Facebook ad. Let's do that. There we go. You can see all of these
different Facebook ad ones. Quite extensive.
Let's say we wanted an Instagram post. There we go. Something really
cool is in here. We can actually go perfume. And let's say we wanted
to use this for a logo. We're not going to, but let's just say we wanted to use this. You can see that
we have this here. We can edit all the color. Let's say we wanted purple. Let's say we wanted pink. Let's say we want. Let's
say we want white. Okay. So as you can
see, of course, this is not the logo
we're going to be using, but I'm just showing you
how powerful Canva is that I made this in
a couple seconds. So that's pretty cool. Next is elements. So here we
could just type in perfume. And these ones are
P. You have to pay for Canva to get
access to these ones. You can see we have
this one right here, changed to white. And as you can see, you can
just do your logo in Ca. We're going to be
using a couple of tools that are outside of Canva. But as you can see, you
can get all that there. Let's say you want
to flower as well. Let's do that. As you can see, there's a frame ray here. So if we wanted to put an image in there and have
this be the frame, we could totally do that. As you can see, there's a ton of different
flowers ones to use. Here we go and you can
change the color of it too. Let's go like that.
Like that. There we go. Let's see what else
to have for flower. Here's another good
one. So let's say that you have your logo, you wanted to put
some flowers on it. You could do that. Let's say you wanted to
put some vines on it. There we go. You could do this. So a lot of different
options within the elements tab. Next is text. So here, I have some
different fonts saved. But as you can see,
there's a ton of different options for precess. Let's click one of these. Let's just get it a
little bit more centered, and let's type perfume. And as you can see here, there are a ton of different
fonts that you can use. So we can use Mt. This is a pretty nice one,
glacial indifference, an gagglin, There are so
many options for fonts, you're definitely going to
find one that you like. Next is brands. This is also in C P. Well this is where you'll save all
your brand information. So colors, logos,
fonts, brand voice, photos, graphics, icons,
everything will be saved here. Next is uploads. You can
upload your own videos here. As you can see,
all of these ones are things that have
previously uploaded. And then you have draw. So let's say you wanted to draw
circle around something. You could do it with this
and just see it with this. Next is projects. You can see all the projects
you've created here. And then apps. The apps are just
really powerful. For example, B
create allows you to create things in bulk. Unfortunately, it is a pros.
You have to pay for it. But there are a lot of
different ones in merocG Drive. There's a lot to choose from. That's for you. In the next one, we're going to be
teaching you how to make a logo and how to
create the packaging. I'll see you in the next one.
13. Creating a Logo: Hello, everybody. Welcome back. And today, we're going
to be creating a logo. So let's top right
it. First of all, we're going to use
an app called craft. So craft is really
great for creating photos crew generated by AI. So you have a couple of options when you
first open it up, Raster image, vector
image, and image set. So let's show you first
what raster images. We're going to be
using vector image, but I'm going to show you
what raster images first. So we'll give you a ton
of different options. So Illustration,
seamless, three D render, all these different ones here. Let's go three D render. Let's go Purple perfume bottle. So it's just going to load
really quick. There you go. Raster images are really
great for creating lifelike images like this because these almost
look real life. What we want to use
though is vector. We want to use line
art for this one. Let's say perfume. Let's go for our logo. And let's see what flower
we might have to be more specific with
exactly what flower. There we go. I actually
like this one a lot. So what you're going to
want to do is go up here to export PNG, and there you go. Actually, we might want
to change the dimensions. Before we download. And because it is
a vector image, we can change the dimensions
as much as we want, and it won't affect the quality. There we go, we've
downloaded that. Now there's actually
one more step before we can actually
put our logo and start creating it in ambas we have
to go to the service call. You're just going to
upload your photo. I'll grab it right here. There we go. And then you're
going to want to go to adjust replace color. Well, we're also going to have to get rid of the background. I'm just going to download that. There we go. Now I'm
going to go into pick. Upload that. Now we're going to want to
adjust to replace color, make this white. Again, I'm just doing this because my background
is going to be bla, but most of the time we're going to want to
have a white logo. There we go. Let's say that. There we go. Now let's
go to our project. Let's go to uploads There we go, change the color here to black. There we go. Let's
find some text here. Here we go. Let's call it to Awesome sense. Now we're just going to go
here and we're going to find a good font There we go. That's a pretty good font. So now, we're just going to
edit it to make this closer. Make this a little smaller. Okay. There you go. There is
your logo right there. So all we have to
do is download it. And there we go. Now if
I check my downloads. Boom. And there's the
logo right there. So that's creating a logo. I hope you guys enjoy it. Hope you learned a lot and
I'll see you in the next one.
14. Creating Packaging: Hello, everybody.
Welcome back in today. We're going to be creating the packaging for our business. As I said before, our packaging is going to be 1 "
by 1 " stickers. Let's start to edit that. Let's say we want our packaging
to be blue like this. Now, we can grab this. Let's say we want that.
Let's say we want a border. Let's use this one right here. There we go. Let's change
the color to white. Let's move a little
bit further down. Let's see. Now let's
grab our logo. Okay. Now, Let's add in a scent name. So we're going to call our
sent I said in the last one, it's a mix of Japanese onsen
versus a fruity flavor. Let's call it Apple Oke. Let's go. Chris There we go. Now when you can edit this. No, I was pin font. I'm checking through the fonts right now to find
one that works. There we go. I know. There we go. I like that one. Then we're just going to
change the spacing here, make it nice and
Cris Apple Cris. Sorry about that. There we go. And now, let's say, foundering Saskatche It's got this one. To flowers. And There you go. So that some basic how to create the packaging for
your business be enjoyed, and I'll see you
in the next form.
15. GetResponse Tutorial: Hey, everybody, and welcome
back to this module. And this one, I'm going
to be showing you how to do e mail marketing
for your brand. So you're just going to want
to hop in and get response. And you're going to
want to go to tools. I'm going to show
you all the tools over here. So you have contacts. This is a paid tool in contacts. This is a previous
list that I had. You have your lists right
here and on your lists, and we'll have all
the contacts that you have. So that's right there. Then you have e mail marketing. So this is where you
create news letters. So let's just create
our first e mail. So automatically, we'll use the e mail that you
signed in with. You do have the
option of adding in your own customer mail and I'm going to show
you how to do that. So first of all, this is something you will see what
we will call it first e mail. Okay. There we go
on subject line. This is what the recipient
is going to see and let's make it for a perfume
business. Five facts. Did you know these insane
facts about perfume. And you're going to want to
add your recipients here. So what I would recommend
doing is just adding a list. So all your lists, you can just click
it, activate it. And then you're going to
design your message here. It's going to give you some
pre design templatees. So we're going to use
Let's find a good one. As you can see, they
have a ton of options, you will not be short of choice. So maybe not any of these. Let's go blank templates.
Let's go like this. And then, of course, you
can add an image into it. So let's put an image
in there, add image. Let's add a file. And let's go and grab
this one right here. Okay. There we go. Let's use that. There we go. Now we can actually
add in our message. Hey, you. Let's make that
a little bit bigger. Oh, here we can add that here. Maybe a little bit
bigger than that. There we go, and then
we can center it. I don't really like
to see if they have. No, they don't.
Maybe There we go. Hey. These facts about sender it and you start
writing our e mail. So did you know that
perfume starts with a key? Of course, no we actually
make for your e mail. It's if you look at the Okay. Okay I. Mind There we go. This is our e mail. Maybe
we'll add one more in here saying other than that. Thank you for
reading this e mail. I'll see you in the next one. There you go. Save
as my template. Oh, sorry. Save Draft and exit. Okay. And now, if we actually
go into do auto responders. Oh, not auto responders. I recommend using e mail
marketing instead of auto responders, but automation. So we're going to
start a new workflow. Bill from scratch. Subscribe. So we just make it so when
they subscribe to a list. We add them on to
the newsletter. So here we just click on that. You can select the list, and
we're going to go specific, and we're going to go
this list right here. There we go. And then we're
going to send an e mail. So we're going to go like this. Send message. There we go. And then we're just going
to go into our drafts, we're going to go first e mail. Apply and you're going to see the e mail
come up right here. There it is. So then of course, there's a lot more
things you can add. So let's say you
can do or is it. You can do whether the
message was opened. And then if it was opened, You could send another message. I just connect it like that. And maybe there's a
different e mail you want to send if they
don't open it up. So there you go, maybe there's a coupon you want to
send. So that's that. Let's go back. Okay.
Then down here, you're going to have your
e mails and domains. The reason why I'm not
talking about the other tools is because you're not
going to use them. A lot of the tools
are used within Shop fi which is what
I'd recommend doing. So these are the addresses
you could add an e mail. And then I have a custom email. I'd recommend having
a custom email if you want to do
e mail marketing. Files and images,
integrations and API. So there's a lot of cool apps that you can add on
to get response, web hooks, we connect, and then that's about it. So that sc response.
16. Shopify Tutorial: Hello, everybody. Welcome back. And today, I'm
going to be giving you a shop of i tutorial. I'm going to be showing
you how shop of fi works, where everything
is, what it does, and how you can you Use it. So first of all, you have
your home page here. And it's just going
to right now give you operates on things you have
to do to finish your store. So let's go to orders. So in orders, any orders that you get to your store
will appear here. It's going to show
you their name. It's going to show you
when they ordered. I'm going to show you
the order number. It's going to give you a lot of information about their order. And it's, of course, going
to tell you what they bought. Then you have drafts. So this is if you
want to manually create an order,
then you do it here. Then you got shipping labels. So this is if you're actually printing off and doing
the shipping yourself. Of course, we're going
to be using Amazon, but because we have
an online store, we also might do some of
the shipping ourselves. So this is where you print off all the shipping
labels right here. And then we have
abandoned checkouts. So if somebody goes
through the process of buying but doesn't actually
end up buying from you, then they'll have an
abandoned checkout and you'll be able to see the Information. And next products. So let's just add a product just to show you how it works. So for this, let's
find an image. Let's grab this one
right here. Oh, right? And let's say Apple Crisp Onsen perfume. And then you had description. Of course, you'd
probably say, like, This perfume or have
you ever wanted I'm just going to type
something out really quick. There you go. Of course, your description is
going to be longer. If you're also doing this,
I'd recommend using chat GPT, that's something I
would recommend. Of course, we can
change the price. So let's say we want to charge seven 50 and you can put down
your cost per item here. So as you can see that 3703, we have a margin of 50%. C quantity, So here you can put down if you
have different locations. Let's say you had
three locations. You could track the
quantity of each location. You can continue
selling it on a stock, and you might have
an SKU or a barcode. Because we're going to
be selling on Amazon, ours is going to have a barcode. Here you can add the
weight for shipping, variance, and then you can change all the SEO
information here. So I can change this say apple crisp or something like
that. Then I can save that. And then another great
thing you can do is let me just find tags. What you want to do is for this, you would go perfume. And now when we go to
sorry, let me say that. Now when we go to collections, we can actually
create a collection. We can call it perfume. And we can make it automated and we can make
it any condition, Puta is equal to perfume.
Let's save that. And now you can see that I added our perfume
just right there. Then you have inventory. This is where you can track all the inventory of your items. So this is really handy to
see how much you have at the current time.
Purchase orders. So this is where you track all
the orders from suppliers. Transfers if you want to
move something between locations and then gift cards,
pretty self explanatory. Customers is where
you'll be able to see all your customers
that have purchased from you or abandoned checkct is segments where you can actually put them into
different segments. So you could say spent over $50 or spent over 20 minutes on the
store. You can do that here. Then you have content. This is where you're going to
upload all your files. Right there. Analytics. This is where you're going to see
all your store analytics. So you're going to see your total sales,
sales by channel, online store sessions,
average order value, total orders, online
store conversion rate. And this one's broken
down into added to cart, reach checkout
sessions converted. Top selling products,
customer cohort analysis, and returning customer rate, sessions by device type, sessions by location, sales
attributed to marketing, sessions by social source, sales by social source, top referrals by session, top landing pages by session, sales by traffic source, sessions by traffic source, retail sales by
staff at register, retail sales by POS location, fulfilled orders over time, products by sale at the
rate, customers over time. So you can see that
there are literally so many analytics. They do not spare anything. You can see everything
about your business here. So we can go into reports, and this is where we can
get more information. And then live view,
we'll show you a live view of who's
interacting with your store. So we'll show you a little blip on the map of where they are. And we'll show you what
they're doing. Marketing. So this is just some
more information. Give me information on how
your marketing is acting. Campaigns, and then automations. And then we have discounts here. So if you want to
add a discount code, all we have to do is
let's say we want to do amount of products. Let's say discount code is apple apple let's say we want to get 15% off. And then we can save the
discount there. There we go. Added to that
product. There we go. Now we have a coupon code. Next, we have online store. So this one, you're going
to have themes here. I'll show you some of the
themes after blog posts. So this is where
you're going to add blog posts to your page. Pages. If you want to
have static pages, Navigation, if you
want to change your navigation bar and
add different things. So here, it only says
home catalog and contact. You might want an About page. So you might want
to go into pages, make an About page, go into navigation, and then add the About page
into the into that. Preferences. Here you're going to add
your home page title, the homepage meta description, your social sharing
image. Google Analytics. Make sure you set
up a Facebook picks on Google Analytics. Then of course, password
protected right now. Then here's point to sale. This is if you are
getting sales in person. This one isn't super
important right now. We're doing all of
our sales online. Now it's going to online store, and let's look at
some of the themes. Let's browse some
of these themes. There we go. So these are all
going to be the paid ones. Let's see the free ones. Okay. This is a pretty cool one right here. Let's try that word. So you can see that adding themes to your store
is super simple, super easy, super awesome. So there we go, that
one it's adding. And you can also see that
we can customize our store. So as you can see we have the
top bar here in the header. We can change the
location of it. We can change the padding the layout. And here you can
see we have images here so we can add images. So let's add this one here. Let's add another one. As you can see now. We have
two images right there. We can add it this. I love Cris. I'm just giving you an example of what you can do with it, and then you can actually
add a featured collection. This is where I can change
the collection to be perfume, and then our perfume will
show up just right here. You can also change
the amount of maximum products to
show number of columns. You can make it portrait, square, a lot of
different options. That's that. Make sure you
play around a little bit with this because there's a lot of different
stuff you can do. Now let's go into settings. Oh, before we do that though, let's talk about apps. There are a ton of
different apps that you can add to your shop offi store. You can add print on Dome store, you can add product
reviews, e mail marketing. You can add drop shipping
apps, landing page builders. You have so many different
options on here. So now let's go into
settings. Okay. So under source details here. You can see your store name, your store phone,
your store e mail. Your billing address,
here it has all of your basic information
like time and weight. Then you have your plan right here so you can choose a plan. I believe you can get it for $1 a month for your
first three months. Billing. This will tell you everything
about your billing. Users and permissions. Here's if you had a pretty big popular store
and you had to have staff, this is where you
would add people to the store to give
them access to it. Next, you have payments. So payments is where you do all your account in your
payment information. So you just click a
complete account setup, and then you would add all your banking information
and set that up. Next, you have checkout. So this is where customer you can get phone
number, email or email. Require first and last
name or only lane. Company name, address,
shipping address. And then you have marketing
options and order processing. There we go. Now, we
got customer accounts. This is where you can edit all the customer
account information. Then you have shipping
and delivery. This is where you
edit shipping rates for different countries. You can have different
size of the packaging. Here it is Canada Post and UPS. You can get big discounts. Then you have taxes. So if
you're collecting taxes for each company, then
you have location. So this is where your
shop location is. Gift cards, this
one is pretty easy. Markets. This one is
going to give you some information about each of your markets and how
much you're selling. Absent sales channels. This one is going to give
you some information on each of your sales channels. Domains. This is where you're going
to have your domain for your website. Customer events. So this is where if you
have custom pixels, this is where you're
going to manage your customer events. So you can track
customer behavior and keep track of it right
here. Then you have brand. So here's where you have all of your information
like your logos, your cover image, your slogan, all that is right here. Notifications. So
this is where you can edit your notifications. So for your customer notifications,
staff notifications, fulfillment request
notifications, you can do all of
that right there. Custom data, if you want to
add custom data to any of these here or you want to add a custom one, then
you can do that. Languages. This is where you can add languages to your store. Customer privacy. Here's your privacy policy
and your cookie banner. Your policies, this one,
I'd recommend filling out. You can actually
create from template. Of course, you do have to
edit some of the information, some of it like insert
return address. You will have to put some of your own information in there, but this is a good
starting place. And then store activity log. Store activity log. And this is going to give
you all the information about using your store. So that shopify, I
hope you guys enjoy. I'll see you guys
in the next one.
17. Meta Ads Tutorial: Hello, everybody,
and welcome back. Now we're going to
be talking about creating an ad with
the Ads Manager. So, we're actually
going to be doing tutorial after for
creating it using amba. And this one, we're going to
be creating the campaign. So you're gonna want to go to your ads manager
and click Create. Okay. Then you're going to want to pick your one,
which one do you want? Awareness is good for you
want to get your message to as many people as possible for as low cost as possible. Traffic is good when
you actually have a goal like getting
people to your website. Engagement is if you
want your post to get a lot of engagement likes, comments, shares, people sending in direct messages, leads. This is if you want people
to enter information on Facebook where you'll get back
the information like name, phone number, things like that. Then you have app promotion. This is if you have an app
that you want to promote. And then you have
sales. This is if you want to drive
sales conversions. So if you've already gotten
quite a few conversions, you can use sales and it will help you get sales
to your business. So we're going to use awareness. Because we want to get brand to as many people as possible in front of as many
people as possible. So let's call it our first ad. Now, we don't need a category. Unless you're doing credit,
employment, housing, or social issues, you don't
have to pick a category. We're going to want
to do auction. And this gives you the
option to AB testing. So if you want to test
two different ads and see which one performs better,
you can do it right here. Then you're going to go next. Then right here, you're going
to want to pick your goal. So maximum reach of ads. So show you as many
people as possible, maximum number of impressions, as many times as possible. Maximum ad recall lift, so make sure people remember it. Then you can also set your
goal to get plays for videos. Then you have your page that
you want to do it for here, your daily budget or
your lifetime budget, you can just set that here. You can set a schedule and
you can set end date or you don't need an
end date though. We're going to set one. It's always just set
for typically a month. Let's say we want to stop
at the end of the month. Then you pick what location
your audience is in. So let's say we want to show
it to people in New Zealand. Let's say we have a certain brand that only is
for people from New Zealand. So let's just say
we want to do that. It's going to take us there. And then Okay. There we go. Just click that. Then you can pick the age that
you want them to be. Let's say we want them to
be 24 to 35. There we go. Say we only want to
show it to women. We click that
there. Here's where you actually pick
their interests. Let's say we have
a perfume company, we want to do perfume perfume. Let's say I do
supo? There we go. Then I'll give you
something on the side here, this is how much reach
you're going to have. So for me, I set a
budget of $5 a day, we will reach 1.8 to
5.3 people a day. We can go next. And this is where you actually make
your ad and everything. So you can do a single
image or video, a carousel or a
collection of images. So then you got some media here you can use. We're
going to delete that. Here you can actually
change your primary texts. If I wait for this
to come up here, Let me just turn it on. It's not really working
right now. I don't know why. Oh, we're just getting. So it's going to show up here. Let's just use a
image for right now. Let's use this one right here. There we go. Now we have our primary text here. There you go as you can
see it's right there. That's about it.
So I hope you guys enjoyed this one and I'll
see you in the next one.
18. Creating an Ad: Hello, everyboddy.
And at this one, I'm going to be
showing you how to create an ad with canvas. So, first, just go to go
custom size 2000 by 2000. Usually, you want to
make your ads a square. And then we're just going to add a picture. So let's
just use this. So let's say we want to have
a picture in the background. Of course, we would
probably want a picture of our perfume. And let's say we
wanted to do like a 50% off coupon. Okay. Let's just create the
ad. Let's go here. White. Then let's
duplicate this. Let's make this smaller. Maybe not that small. It's change the font. There we go, click the
link to find out more. So there's a pretty
basic ad right there. That looks pretty good, gets the message across, does what we need to do. So this is this lecture, and I'll see you
in the next one.
19. Conclusion: If you made it this far, you've finished the entire course. I would just like to extend
a huge thank you to you. Thank you so much for watching through
this entire course. I hope your perfumes
works perfectly, and you achieve every
dream you've ever had. Please leave a five star
