About This Class

In this class I’m going to teach you how to create a Yoga mat strap / blanket holder. I’m going to talk about the materials,  how to measure your rope so you can use any size of mat/blanket that you have an carry them as a backpack, shoulder bag or crossbody bag.

I also recommend to listen to some calming music, or whaterever you like while you create. You can hear Dawn by Sappheiros in the videos.

1. About the course : Hi and welcome to my class. They are going to learn how to create the arguments that you can use eta, Catriona, Gilgamesh or Alan on domain to the team. But a blanket. And the way to the park, although you can use it as a step, which is very useful, especially if you are not very flexible yet. It digestible and you can use it as a shoulder bag occurs, but the bag or a backpack, click follow and let's get started. 2. Materials: For this project, you will need twine scissors measuring tape. I use twine because it's durable and easy to get from the corner shop, but he can use and the iron ore gotten rock you have at home. 3. Measurements: For the measurement, we are going to make a two strands basic strap. This way you can measure the exit lens that is comfortable for you to carry your yoga mat, towel or blanket. I started to measure two strands each, two meters Gong and I tied looks on each. And I put it on my Mac and try them on. Don't skip this step. You, if you try it on as a shoulder bag and the correspond the bad and the backpack, you will have the exact length that is comfortable for you. The way you put it on your Mac to get plan loop and put the two strands through the loop. This way it's going to form a bigger loop. Then you can adjust according clear, mid-size. So put the yo-yo gametes through these Bigelow and actinic. And repeat on the other end. For me, 1.5 meter was the most comfortable x. Then for the length of your strap, you will need to add 30 to 50% of the length to your strand. This way can breed the strands and it's going to be long enough for your strap. So this was about two meters for me. I need it two times, four strands. So what they've done is I measured to meet theirs then they further debt in half. I needed four of this validates trend. So I kept measuring the two metres and till I got eight strands together. I cut the loops on one end and I kept it on the other hand. 4. Start your project: First tackling your project. Not on the end that has loops. Then separate the strands. For breathing bit four strands he will need first trend. I put a poet to keep them in place, but you can put a mock or to keep it in place. And from here it is very, very simple. Keep repeating two steps. So first, you put two strands on each side and that the right strand goes over the left strand on each side. And I call this a turn. And absolute that my across the two strands, the left goes over the right one, like this. So it's a term and the cross. So again, the red strand goes over the left time on each side. Then cross the middle one. The left goes over the right, turn and cross. And they just keep repeating this turn and cross. And they get read lengths for your strap. And you get to the read lengths. You just tie a knot that you can untie easily on the end to keep it in place. And you can start to play the other end with the same step turn and crashed. Okay. You get to the lengths that he'll measured. At the measurement section. You can tie a knot at the end, fold it in half, make a loop and push. And through the loop. It's going to formula tests as the end, which I like, I really like. 5. Final steps : Now you create the your yoga mat strap. You just going to need to put it on your yoga mat. So get the little loops at the end and push the two strands through the loop. It's going to form a bigger loop that is adjustable according to your yoga mat blanket size. So put your yoga mat in this loop and titanate and repeated on the other end. Ready to go to the team part and thank you for joining to make less, don't forget to share your project. And click follow. See you next time.
