2. Setting a Goal: Welcome to our
first lesson where we're going to dive into
the world of goal setting. First of all, we
need to have a goal. What's the goal anyway? Well, it's just something
you want to achieve. A target, an aim, or a dream. You want to make real. Why
setting goals is important? Because they give us life,
purpose and direction. They keep us motivated and give a sense
of accomplishment. Examples of goals. I will create a collection of 15 abstract paintings that
reflect my personal journey, Curate an art exhibition and
hosted in a local gallery. Within the next five months, I will compose and record
an original soundtrack for a short documentary
film delivering a final fully
mastered audio track within the next eight weeks, let's take a moment to
reflect on the goal that truly resonates at
this point in your life. It could be a longstanding
aspiration that hasn't materialized or perhaps it's something you've been
avoiding but secretly desire. The key is to ensure that
this goal genuinely your own, not influenced by external
pressures from parents, friends, or social media. Let's focus on what you
genuinely want today, not what you may have thought
you wanted a decade ago. This is about discovering
your authentic current goal. And now it's the time
to test the goal. I'm presenting the list of questions that are
important to ask before making plans and certain
actions towards the goal. You can write down the answers. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Now that we've
explored your goal and delved into
its significance, it's time to take a
moment and reflect. How do you feel about
the goal you've chosen? Does it still resonate with you or do you prefer
to change your goal? If you're motivated
and committed to pursuing the goal
you've identified, we'll move on to the next step. However, if you've come
to the realization that your goal has
shifted or evolved, don't hesitate to choose another one and
revisit the questions. Remember, it's essential that your goal truly reflects
your current aspiration. The next step on our journey
is to make your goal smart, specific, measurable, achievable, relevant,
and time bound. Let's dive in your
goal to make it even more attainable
and impactful. What is a Smart goal stands for? Specific is all about getting crystal clear on
what you want to achieve. Instead of saying I
want to be a writer, try something like
I want to write a 90 pages book by June next year completing
200 words per day. See the difference. The
more specific you are, the easier it is to focus on your target is for measurable, you need to be able to track your progress and know
when you've hit your goal. If you say, I want to
get better at cooking, how do you measure that?
It's pretty vague. But if you say, I want to learn to cook three
new recipes every month, that's something
you can measure. A stands for achievable. You don't want to set a goal that's completely
out of reach. If you're a beginner in
running, setting a goal, like I want to run a marathon next month
might not be achievable. Instead, start with
something like, I want to run a five
K in three months. That's a more doable target. Next up, R stands for relevant. Your goal should make sense
in the context of your life. If you set a goal, I want to become a
professional skateboarder, but you're not really
into it's not relevant. Make sure your goal
matters to you and aligns with your
interests and values. Lastly, is for time bound, you've got to put a
deadline on your goal. Without a deadline, it's easy to procrastinate or lose
motivation instead of saying, I want to learn a new language, say I want to learn
Spanish within six months. That sets a clear time frame for now that your goal
is well defined, it's the perfect time to
bring a creative touch to it. I encourage you to channel your artistic site and
visually represent your goal. This can take various forms, such as painting your
goal or making a collage. Find a special spot in your living space where
you can display it, whether it's on
your work desk in your bedroom or any
place you frequent. Having your artistic
representation of the goal in view daily can serve as a constant source of motivation and a reminder
of your commitment.
3. Seasons, Psychological Age: Imagine your goal as a season. Is it an inspiring spring, an emotional summer,
a serious autumn, or a strong and clear winter? Choose the season that resonates with your vision and draw it. Reflect on why achieving
this goal is beneficial. Consider the positive impact
it can have on your life. Write down your thoughts
on how reaching this goal aligns with your
aspirations and values. Delve into the strategies for accomplishing your goal outline, at least two possible variants. These could be different
approaches, methods, or steps you can take to progress towards your
desired outcome. As you embark on the journey
to achieve your goal, consider your psychological age. Are you in a childlike state full of curiosity
and resilience, or perhaps in a teenage phase, insistent and determined, Maybe you approach it as an adult employing flexibility
and analytical skills. Or as an older person with a peaceful and
accepting mindset. Reflect on your
psychological age and how it influences your
approach to the goal.
4. Message from the Future: In this lesson, we will embark
on a unique exploration, imaginative venture
into the future. This exercise aims to deepen our connection to our
goals by envisioning their realized outcomes and the positive impact on
various aspects of our lives. You can respond to the following questions in written form. Envision the realization
of your goal. How does it positively
impact your health? Consider specifics, such
as physical well being, energy levels, and
overall vitality. Explore the creative
enhancements that come with
achieving your goal. How does your
imagination flourish? And what new ideas or
projects do you engage in? Delve into the
professional realm. What advancements or changes
occur in your career? Are there promotions,
new opportunities, or shifts in your profession? Imagine the financial outcomes
of your achieved goal. How does it affect
your income savings, investments, and overall
financial stability? Consider the enjoyment
in your life. What leisure activities
or hobbies do you now have the time and
resources to pursue? Explore the dynamics
with your family. How does your
relationship evolve? Are there newfound connections
or shared experiences? How do your relationships
with friends deepen or change in
terms of romance? How does your relationship
transform for the better? Close your eyes. Envision
yourself on a magic carpet transporting you to the future where your goal
has materialized. Feel the emotions, note the details and record the
date when you arrive there. Was it a smooth, fast journey? If your goal were your
inner child's dream, what action would
you recommend to do to expedite progress? Identify an action or habit
hindering your journey. What can you stop doing to
free up time and energy? Craft a powerful phrase, affirmation or idea that
motivates you towards your goal. Decorated, and place in your visual goal space
for daily inspiration.
5. The Magical Wand: Today we explore the concept of a magical wand to broaden our
perspective on our goals. Seeking inspiration
and motivation across various life areas. If you possess a magical wand, which life area would
you address first? This could be connected to your primary goal or extend
into areas such as career, money, relationships, health, personal development,
spirituality, or hobbies. If you could consult a renowned professional in
this chosen area, what actions might they suggest? Write down these ideas
to guide your approach. Imagine you already
knew everything. Possessing abundant
resources, Health, clear vision material and emotional support, and
influential contacts. List two small steps you
would take as a first move. If you could ask the magical one for one resource,
what would it be? Reflect on where this
resource already exists in your life and strategize how you can access
it more effectively in the absence of
a magical wand. Consider the minimum actions you can undertake this month. Outline three concrete
steps towards your goal. If someone at a similar
level sought your advice, what two recommendations
would you give based on your experiences? Complete the sentence, I allow myself to, and
that's why I choose. We conclude this
lesson. Remember that the magic lies not
just in the wand, but in our ability to envision, plan, and take action. Today's exercises aim to spark inspiration and motivate you on your journey
towards your goals.
6. Collage of Achievements: Today's lesson is a celebration
of your achievements, a journey down memory
lane to kindle motivation and confidence as you pursue your current goals. We'll embark on a
two part exercise, combining writing
and collaging to create a visual
representation of your life. Successes begin by listing ten
things at which you excel. Showcasing your unique
talents and skills. Detail 25 accomplishments from your life, both big and small. Reflect on personal
and professional. Identify five individuals
who would describe you as a positive influence in
various aspects of life. Consider friendships, family,
work, or any other areas. Specify three characteristics of your appearance that
you appreciate. Enumerate the names of
three or five people whom you've assisted in a goals. Now using your lists, create a collage of
your achievements. This can be done digitally
or through a hands on approach with magazines
and other materials. Give it a name and find
a space to display it, a daily reminder
of your successes.
7. Sculpture of Resources: Welcome to Lesson six, where we delve into the tangible and
intangible resources that accompany us on our
journey toward our goals. Today we'll create a
symbolic sculpture representing the resources
at our disposal, encouraging a deeper awareness of our inner and
outer strengths. Begin by reminding
yourself of your goal. Say it aloud, reinforcing your using materials around you. Craft a sculpture
that symbolically reflects the diverse resources
supporting your goal. Aim for a minimum of 15 objects
placed on an four paper. Pause the video and answer the following
questions in writing.
8. Character of the Goal: Welcome to lesson seven, where we explore the
unique character of our goals through
drawing and reflection. We will personify
our aspirations, creating a visual
representation that taps into our motivations
and propels us forward. If your goal were a person, visualize how it would look. Determine the gender,
clothing, style, emotions and unique
characteristics. Delve into details
of styling behavior and gestures with
pencils or markers. Draw this personified
version of your goal. The drawing can be colored
or black and white. As per your preference, reflect on what this goal person needs for more
confidence and solidity. Add these elements to your
drawing. What did you include? Consider the qualities you
added to your character. Relate these qualities
to your goal. What kind of qualities could
contribute to your goal? Success. Determine what activities are crucial for strengthening these qualities within yourself. Outline a plan for the month
with specific actions.
9. Power-Weakness-Fear-Talent: In lesson eight, we explore
the dynamics of power, weakness, fear, and talent. On our journey to achieving our goals through a
structured exercise. We'll identify and
visualize these elements, gaining a deeper understanding of our strengths and challenges. Begin by repeating your goal. What sort of dance
or sport is it? Draw a representation of it in the first box labeled goal list, on a separate sheet of paper, 510 powers or strengths you currently possess
to achieve your goal. If these power were
a mode of transport, what kind would they be? Draw it in the second
box labeled Power, write down 510 fears you have on the way to your goal on a
separate sheet of paper. If these fears were obstacles,
how would they look? For example, a fence
or a mountain. Draw them in the
third box labeled Fear Associate one to three opportunities or talents with each power from your list, draw a representation of these opportunities or
talents as a building. In the fourth box
labeled talent, identify one to
two weaknesses or risks that arise from the
fears in the third box. If these risks materialize, how will you feel inside? Draw this feeling in the
fifth box labeled weakness. Determine actions to add to your plan that will enhance
your energy levels. These actions can be
related to emotional, physical, intellectual,
or spiritual aspects. Write them down on a
separate sheet and draw their representation
in the last box. What easy action can you take today to move closer
to your goal?
10. Circle - Small Coaching Frame: Welcome to Lesson nine, where we explore the power of metaphoric associative
cards within the framework of a circle. Begin by drawing a circle with four lines inside,
creating segments. You can work with the
cards on this website. Choose one card from the
metaphoric associative cards. That answers the question, how is it related to your
goal? Don't think too long. The first thing that comes
to your mind is correct. What do you see on it?
Do you like the card? Write down your associations
in the first segment. Select another card that
answers the question, what needs are hidden
behind this goal? What do you see on the card? How does it relate to
your life and your needs? Write down your answers in
the upper right segment. Choose a card that
answers the question, why is this need
currently blocked? Write down your thoughts
in third segment. Pick another card that
answers the question, what can help me
realize this need? What hint does
this card provide? Right down in the last segment.
11. Goals Go Global: Welcome to our last lesson
with Goals Go Global Exercise, where we embark on a journey to explore the broader
implications of your main goal. This exercise is designed to
open new perspectives and boost motivation by considering the wider impact of
your aspirations. How would you like to see
your life in ten years? List eight to ten aspirations that capture the essence
of your desired future. How much do you desire to work? How often do you intend to re, do you envision living? How frequently and for what duration do you
plan to take Holidays? How many hours would
you like to sleep? What changes do you foresee
in your daily routine? What alterations do you
anticipate in your appearance? What enhancements do you
expect in your surroundings? What impressions do you wish people to have
when they see you? What image of your life would you like to convey
to those around? You specify 23 aspects. What is your goal for
the next six months? Why have you chosen
this particular goal? Why is this goal significant
in the next six months? What would be the best
outcome if you achieve it? Enumerate three reasons. Identify three habits hindering your progress toward this goal. Which detrimental
habit can you begin addressing to eliminate
its impact on your goal? What habit must you
eliminate from your life? List three actions you must
avoid to attain the goal. If your best friend
were to give you one recommendation,
what would it be? If your father were to give you one recommendation,
what might he say? What would be the two easiest
steps to achieve this goal? Now, what two decisions will provide you
with more energy? Once you achieve this goal, where will you direct
the energy you gain?
