Hello, I'm Amelie.

I started drawing with a pencil when I was sixteen, initially focusing on pencil drawing classes. During these early years, I developed a strong foundation in portrait drawing, figure drawing, and facial features design. I also honed my skills in working with colored pencils, ink pens, and watercolors. These diverse experiences have given me a comprehensive understanding of various techniques and styles.

As my interest grew, I discovered a passion for character design and animation, which led me to pursue professional character design classes. My university education in the field of animation further deepened my expertise. At the age of twenty-four, I began teaching character drawing with a pencil, combining my knowledge of traditional drawing techniques... See full profile

1. Introduction: Hello to all of my dear friends. Welcome to the course of sketching and illustrating. See animals with pencil. An important part of Character sketching for students is definitely capturing the animal characters. In this course, you will learn how to illustrate and draw the characters of different animals in a principled way using geometric shapes. This course, you will learn to characters a sketching of turtle, Shark, Fish, octopus, crab, raise, frog, alligator, whale, and penguin in different models and positions. I hope this scores is useful for you and it will increase your design creativity and you will enjoy it. 2. Tools needed: Hello to all of my dear friends. We are here again and today we want to learn about the equipments and tools which are needed for this course, which is characterizing the animals. I would start with my at it. Because first symbol. We are going to create our primary sketch for our characters. And I will do it with the use of my edit it. And I would also use b or B2 pencil. It is going to be needed for our work. This is B and this one is B2. I've chosen these pencils because our primary lines for our primary sketches are going to be drawn lightly. And then we've made sure that our work is okay, and it's correct in all aspects. We can use pencils with higher numbers and fix our work. But for the beginning of it, it's better to start our work with B or B2 pencils. Now, for our attitude, we also need this. And just pay attention that the type of your edit and the type of your lead or it's a tip, would be the same. So if you choose one of them, 0.5, the other ones should also be 0.5. You shouldn't choose, for example, 0.7 lead for 0.5 at it. And even if you can't see the leader violated is to be. It should also match your pencils. So you can create softer lines. Now, after all of these, we need obviously a pencil sharpener. These are which have this kind of a case at the bottom of them are the best because it will make your work easier and faster. You would also need a sharpener for your pencils. And after that, we definitely need erasers. We would definitely definitely need our dough eraser. This is a necessity. So you should definitely have a dirty eraser. You can also have pencils, erasers. I have the fabric castle type of it. Something good about these pencils is that at the ending part of them, they have it brush, venue, erase any part of your work. You can use your brush to get the extra things off your work. Your work would not get messy. It would just make your work easier. Can also use this kind of brush erasers. But again, I say delivery CR is a necessity and you should definitely have it or otherwise you can note, do your work. And another kind of eraser that you can have is this eraser that they have some kind of an eraser tips inside of them. You can change them or wherever. Your work is so thin and you want to erase it. You can use this kind of erasers. So this is another type of eraser that you can use in your work. Then another point that I should tell you is that you can use this pencil holder for your pencils. This can come to use for you when your pencil would be too short and small. Therefore, you can place it inside of this pencil holder and use it. One of the most common problems that people have is that then, and pencil is short as small, they cannot properly use it, but this pencil holder actually helps you to use your pencil still. I think this is also necessary for your work if your pencils are short or a small, okay? And we are going to have some works with colors. Therefore, we need some colored pencils. For the parcel. You want to use some shadings. You might even need a fader. We will just use this fader limited oddly. But if you like it, you can use it more. And I also have a brush. Therefore, I can get any extra things off my work so it would be clean and it wouldn't be messy. My paper and my sketch would know sketch messy. I use it, especially for the, for the times that you use. You want to use color on your sketch because it would not let your work to be dirty. And therefore, it wouldn't make your colors look dirty. You can use 1212 number colored pencil, or 28 or even 108. Depends on how much cost you have for this, how much you want to pay for this stuff. And you can also consider your colors more than this. It depends on you also need some papers for our work and normal lie cheat. You can also use some board that you can place it underneath your paper and your hand. You can also have some paper tape, and these are just some accessories that you can have if you want. The board will be also kind of unnecessary for you because it would be placed underneath your hand and your paper. And it will actually fixate, fix your paper on your board so it wouldn't move. These are all the tools that you're going to need for this characterizing course of animals. And you can provide them. 3. General illustration of the first Turtle: Hello John, love my dearest friends. We're back again with another tutorial session for you. And in this session, we are going to create a turtle together and wanted to see how it's done. I will start from a general shape for my turtle's shell. Because this way, it would be really easier for us to create the rest of the body parts. All right. I'll start with a shape which is almost between a circle and an oval like this. Then I will make the top of my shell, my shape and little bit more prominent and then I come down. Be careful you shouldn't make it sharp or form because it should be very smooth and very soft and very around. Then I connect this two parts on the bottom of the shell together. This is actually the shape of the shell of our terrible. Then from here, from the top of the shell, I come down with a curved line in the direction, I mean in the same direction and angle of my shell. Here we create a circle as a whole where the neck of our turtle is going to come out. It would look like this. Shape it upward, we go outward, curved lines again. Over here. We're going to create a circle for the placement of my turtle's head. Then I would also create a direction line and angle line for my turtles face. In this area. We should actually separate our face into parts. Why is that? Because I want my turtles knows and my turtles mouth becomes separated like this. That's why I'm separating the face into parts. Then I'll determine a placement for my eyes. I mean, for his eyes, her eyes. Then in detailing phase, I will work on it more. We've separated these two parts. This part would be the nose and the lower part would be the mouth. The placement of the eyes are now very visible and clear for us. Behind the neck or above the neck, I'm going to work on the shell. I create a curved line coming up and going down again. And then I continue this. I move on to shell until I get to the back of it, to the end of the shell. In here, I'll make a turn, all my code twist. Why? Because v have to actually separate the shell in two parts. One part would be involved in NYC over here. The same way that we went. We go back and we get to the back of the neck, connected to the back of the neck again. We also want a little part for this second part of our shell which is beneath the neck first I'll create this line then again from behind of the neck from tobacco. Can I come in? I continue on this line over here, coming out and little. So this would be the lower part of our shell. And then we turn it from behind. If I want to create it, it would look like this. We connect this area to the lower part of the shell. The only see this part because the wrist so it would be behind the neck and is not visible for us. So you can easily do it right now because we are working on the primary sketch and it's just a general shape. The next step I'm going to determine the placement of my turtles, arms and legs. As far legs. You can count two of them as their arms. One of them would be here, The other one would be on the other side of the body. These are the front legs, the arms, if you'd like. And another one would come out of this part, which is the back leg. And another one on the other side of the body. The bank can only see one part of it. Small part of it. This is just a general shape. Then we create its tail. And then in next step we are going to add the details to our turtle. 4. Drawing the details of the first Turtle: Hello, I love my dearest friends and back again with continuing our work on our turtle. This time I want to add the details to my turtle character. Alright. I started from my turtle's head like this. I go up and little and then I bring it out and I come down. Smooth shape. Then I come down and in this area, I go up and little. And inside again. I mean, I move through a tour inside of the house. This area, I'll create the smile line for its mouth. And I come down and I actually move toward the inside of my mouth. And then from the side and the edges of my mouth, I go down and then toward the neck into the actually this is our mouth and this is the side of our mouth. And it shows that we have another part of the face on the other side of the body. Then I'll create this tongue inside of the mouth. Did I can darken the rest of this area looking like this. Now I'm going to create the eye. For the eye. I bring this area a little bit more above. I bring it up. I can show this prominent parts for the placement of the eye. Then I continue the back of the face, the back of the head until I get to the neck. I do not cut this line ever until I get to the neck. Now that it's done, I can complete the I create a line and then I create the eye on top of it. Then I'll create a pupil inside of it's I. And then for the nose, I'll consider two nostrils as well. He should pay attention that this nostrils, which is closer to us, is a little bigger and the other one is smaller and it's more like a line. Okay. Now I'm going to continue continue to neck from the front side of the body. I go down, I come a little out and then I created toward inside of its shell. And then from the back of the neck I'll do the same, I bring it into the shell. It can also create a line over here in order to show that there are some wrinkles over here. Now I want to work on my turtle's shell. I'm going to create a lines which are defendant and which are my main lines. I just move on these definite main lines. Move on them from my primary sketch. Then I move toward the end of the body like this. And then I'll create this inner line looking like this. You should consider that this upper area should be placed inside of our shell. So I started from here. I go above my shapes and little bit more. I want my shell to be more prominent. Bigger. From inside of the shell, I go up, I shape it and I come down. Our shell is actually inside of this line around it. It doesn't start in the same place. Now that we've created our shell, we can also create some patterns on our shell. This is a tip of our shell. It's very round and smooth. I just create a kind of a circle for it. And then for the lower parts, I create these patterns over here. As you can see, we are creating some patterns on our shell. Again, for the ending part of it, I'll do the same. I will do some of them on this lowest part of my shell. And as we go down toward the bottom of the shell, these patterns would be a little bigger. Just remember you should, I mean, it's bad heard that you don't create all of these patterns the same shape. You can just make some differences in them to make them better. Now, I'm going to create this lower part of the shell which is below and beneath the neck. Like that, I will create it. For this lower part of the shell. We do not connect all lines together. We bring this line until the middle of this area and this one until the middle of this area, we denote connect these lines together. Then we should complete the neck inside of this whole. I'm going to complete this line at the bottom of the shell. We can have the lower part of the shell. I'll continue this design, this shape and sketch toward this side. And then I bring its tail, bringing its little tail out of it. Now, I'm going to work on the legs and arms and complete them. I'll come out and then I'll create the feet. Later. I would also consider several nice for it. Also, you can have several lines for the leg over here. I'll do the same on the other leg and the other side of the body. It should just pay attention that because it's on the other side of the body. It's a little smaller and we just create several lines on it and only one nail on it because it's on the other side. It can be seen completely. Again for the back legs because we see this one more and it's closer to us first we're going to create this. Then we are going to do the risks of them. The last one, I mean, we also have to create the last leg exactly with the same procedure that we did. We only see the back of it and very, very small part of it that we create. You can also consider several lines for this lower part of our shell. Now, our turtle is complete. If you erase all the extra lines, you can clearly see our turtle coming out of this primary sketch. Very clean and very detailed this time. You have to erase all the extra lines. Then erase all the extra lines that we have in the shell. This is our turtle which is complete. 5. General illustration of the second Turtle: Hello to all of my dearest friends. We are back again with another tutorial session for you. And in this session, we are going to create a baby turtle together. You want to see how it's done. If you want to create the baby of a turtle, how we can create it? I'll start by work with creating an oval. Will create an oval over here. In this shape. For this oval, I'll create a line toured up, upward and another line with a little bit distance from the first one. And in here I'm going to create almost a circle, an oval, something between a circle and an oval. It shouldn't be too much of a circle or too much of an oval. Basically, the lower part should be wider and the upper part should be a little bit more narrow. Okay. Now, I will determine the placement of the arms and the legs like this. And then I move on to separate and create the patterns on our turtle's shell. Because this character is a baby, everything will be created as smaller and easier at the same time. Just like that we create the back legs and the other one would be seen to punch less. Now for our baby turtle, we create some patterns on its shell. First of all, from the back of the neck I come down and I create the basic shape of the shell. I turn and I go to the bank. Then from the top of the neck, I turn and I go down again and toward the back of the shell again. With this lower line, I turn and I twist and I connect these two parts together. You can do it as the way you did on your big turtle, or you can do it the same way that I did here right now. Which one is easier for you and more suitable for you? You can do that. Then I'll create It's very teeny tiny tail coming out from the end and the back of the shell. I also create a line beneath the neck. Facing the upper shell. I can show this whole inside of the shell that we will have our neck coming out. Then I create another curved line coming out from the back of the neck and going up. But I do not connect it to the rest of the shell. I finish it in the middle. Then from here I create it's kind of a stomach. I go to the end of the shell. Okay. Now I'm going to determine the placement of the eyes, the nose, and the mouth. But first of all, I should create the direction line for my face. Then I can determine the placement of the eyes because character is a baby, definitely the eyes would be bigger. Then I will create the nose and the mouth with some general shapes. And then in detailing phase, I will work on it more and more. Then I have to create this lower part of the face and make it wider. As I said before, we have to create this lower part of the face wider and bigger. So I add some volume to it. And when we are working on its details, we are going to work on it more. This is my basic and primary sketch for our baby turtle. And on Next step we're going to add the details. 6. Drawing the details of the second Turtle: Hello to all of my dearest friends. We are back again with continuing our work on our baby turtle. Well, I'm going to start from my turtle's head at the top of the head. Actually, first I'll create this prominent area that we have for the placement of our turtles eyes. Then the part between them and then the other eye which is closer to us. I created this prominent area for the eyes. Then from the back of the head, I come down toward here, towards the neck. Then from here, I'm going to create the eyes, one over here and another one closer to us. And also we will create the pupil. Again I say because it's so baby, the eyes and also to P appeals will be bigger. This is closer to us. Therefore it would be even bigger like this. And then dip pupil inside of it would be placed. You can even darken the upper eyelid a little bit more, can emphasize on it. Would look even cuter. Want to work on my turtles? Nose and mouth would be my turtles knows. And mouth, create a smile line for it. And then I bring out the lower jaw, the lower lip until, I mean up to the middle of this upper jaw. And then I'll separate apart for the tongue and I darken the rest of the mouth. Inside of the mouth. We create the nostrils on the right side, which is closer to us. We can see the nostrils bigger. From this part. Below the eye. I come down to create some tricks for our baby turtle. I come out and then I come down until I can connect it to the neck and then I complete the line for the neck as well. Turtles neck is very short as you can see, because we are creating a baby turtle. Then I'm going to complete its shell and the edges of the shell. I go toward the end and then the line I come from the back to the back of the neck. For this area, the top part of the shell. I come from a little bit inside of the shell. I mean inside of the edges of the shell. Make it more prominent. And then I bring it to the other end of the shell and I will shape it like this easily as we did for the bigger turtle. Then we can add the patterns on our shell. Well, smaller it has a small shell, but still we can create several patterns on its shell. That's it. It's complete. The shell create these little parts because we want to show that this is a volume is so it's flat and it has another side. That's why we create a shape like this which is half and we want to show that the shell is churning and we can have the rest of it on the other side of the body. Just wanted to tell you so you would know why we do that. Now, I will create my turtles legs coming out of its body. Down. Determine the placement of the nails. Over here. It'll have three and create several curved lines on the hands. So we can show we have a curve here, we have some depth here. Again, it's not flat and it's got volume and depth. Like wrinkles. Create the other arm the same way. But it only has two nails because it's turned and we cannot see if heart of it. Then we come to the back leg. First I create this one which is closer to us, looking like this. And then I add the nails to it. Then I create these curved lines on the leg. We can see just a little part of the other leg which is on the other side and we create it. You can also add some lines at the bottom of the shell. It can show us the stomach. This is our baby turtle. For the last part of our job, we're going to erase all these extra lines and guidelines. So our baby turtle can show itself better and more. This way as you can see, our result is cleaner. Erase all these extra. And all of these guidelines can also erase inside of the eye. So it should be more white. We are going to make our work become very clean. As you can see, the outcome would be very cute, very characteristic, and complete. This is our baby turtle as well. 7. General illustration of the first Shark: Hello to all of my dearest friends. I'm back again with another tutorial session for you. In this session we are going to work on a shark character together. We want to see how it's done. First, I will start with creating an oval like this. You can actually create this in many different shapes. And it depends on you. I mean, it depends on what direction and what position you want to create your shark. Then I will add another oval to this one. Then for its back, for its fin. I'll create some kind of a triangle shape. I also have to create two fins. This sides. Why shark? One of them would be in this side and the other one would be placed over here. Then at last I'll create its tail. These are the general shapes right now. And in next system, we will actually complete these sketches and we will add the details to them. From the towel, we bring a line down to the bottom and then we turn it from the front of my fin. I will move it toward detail. I would also determine the placement of the eye. And it has a very simple shape. You can see our general shaping, our primary sketch is almost done. You see the direction of the shark, the body parts, and you see most of the face and the front part of our sharks. But now we're going to add the details to our work in next step. 8. Drawing the details of the first Shark: Hello my dear friends. Well, I'm back to continuous of my work on my shark character. We are going to add the details to our work this time. All started from this front part of the face. From here with a very completely soft and smooth curved line. I moved toward the mouth. We are creating actually a kind sharp, we don't want that aggressive shape of the shark over here. We want to show it's cute and kind and fun. I'll create this smile line for it. Then I'll create the lower part of its mouth. Then I go **** inside. Okay. Obviously as you know, sharks has very sharp teeth, so we have to create them like this. I create three teeth for the upper part of the mouth and several of them for the lower part. Like this. You don't have to create all the teeth here. Then I'll create its tongue. And then I'll darken and I'll shade during the rest of the place. This separation would be easily done. Alright. Move on to create the nostrils. Then I'll create DIs. Now. First for the nostrils, I consider an imaginary line. I just create a guideline here. These would be my nostrils here. I mean, the nostrils for my shark. I wanted to work on. It's I I create an eye for it, only one of them because the other eye of my shark is on the other side of the body. And definitely we cannot see it in this position and in this angle, but also create a curved line above the eye so I can show the prominent area for the eye. Then for the tip of the nose which is turned toward the eye, we move on two lines. And then again, from here, I move toward the fin. And we move toward the bottom parts of our body. Now I'll complete it like this. I will complete these lines, which are the main lines for the phase, goes from below. 9. General illustration of the second Shark: Hello, My dearest friends. Back again with another tutorial session for you. And in this session, we want to create another shape and other model of a shark character. So you wouldn't know at least two models of shark. I just want to create my shark in a different position, in a different direction this time. First, I'll create an oval like this. But as you can see, I will not complete the beginning and the end of my oval. I just created the two lines, one on the top and the other one on the bottom. And then from here I'll start and I'll create another oval inside of it. Basically inside of it. This is the shape of our shark. And then I'll start the second shape, which is for detail. And I'm going to shape it like this. I will also determine this area for my shirts mouth. Then I move on to create my shark's tail. Above its body, above its head. I will create a shape like this. Just a general shape. Then for this fins which are on the side, you can create a shape like this. We can only see a very small part of the other fin, which is on the other side of the body. So we just create that a small part. This is actually the general shape of my second shark character. Then I will create this line that I've also created for my other shark as well. This is the line which separates my sharps buddy into two parts. This area would be my shark's mouth. Here we go, all the way through here. Alright. This is a general shape of the shark character. And then later we are going to add the details on it. 10. Drawing the details of the second Shark: Hello to all of my dearest friends. Well, as you can see, we are back to work on our second shark character. This time I want to add the details so I'll start from this front part of my sharps phase. I want to complete my design and my sketch. Just like this. Actually improve my work. Then I'll create this upper line for the mouth. And then from this side of it, I come down to shape them out completely. As you can see. Also create another line from this side of our mouth going down. And then you load the mouth actually Filter1. And then from the middle of this line, we go down. And we will complete our body. We will continue our body until we get to the top. Then from the back of the fin. From behind the fin actually we will get to the tail. Alright. Now I will determine the placement of the nose. And then I'll do it. And then the imaginary line. I'm actually trying to keep all the nostrils, both nostrils in one level and in its right position. But definitely this nostril because it's closer to us, it would be more obvious. I would also determine some teeth for my shark because it's not a shark. Teeth are going to create the teeth in this ship because we wanted to show that shark is also turned. Then I create another two inside of their mouth. And then I'll create only one tooth on the lower part of the mouth. I will create my sharks tongue, and I will darken this area. In this swing, as you can see, I shade it inside of its mouth to create the contrast. Show the tongue and teeth better. Now I wanted to work on this upper line of the gel of the mouth. And I turn toward inside of the sharks face and from the side of its mouth, I will go down and then towards the Finnegan and from behind it toward the tail. At last. No, I come from the outer line toward the inner line. Then I'll also create a wrinkle line because we wanted to show that this place is wrinkled. To show that it has a volume. Did I go to the top of the body? Before I complete that area? Have to create I, over here, we're actually going to create eyes right next to each other. This time. We are actually creating the pupils as well. If you can see clearly, the eyes are right next to each other. Can even create two very small little eyebrows for it. We can actually create another line as a representation of the line between the eyes and two other lines. I mean several lines around the eyes because we wanted to show that in here we have a curve. It's not prominent or anything. These details are actually things that make your work spectacular. Can do this actually. Create its fin, it's upper fin. Fun pattern. And then from behind the fan, from the back of it, I'll move toward the tail. Then I'll turn and twist. I'll complete detail. Does lower part of the tail. You can even give some patterns. Again. For the FIN which is on this side. We can also add these patterns because they're sharp and they're kind of wild. So it's normal to have patterns like this on their fence. Then you can also create several current lines over here so it can breath underwater like this. Alright, now at last I'm going to erase all the extra lines. Therefore, our shark, second shark character would be complete and it would show itself better and more. I would also erase this guideline for the nose. And we also erase the primary sketches. At the beginning of our work. This can actually create as many lines as you want. But later you can, you have to actually determine the main lines among them. It would be harder for you to try to keep it. Not too much or not to minimum. Imbalance. Also erase this area completely. This is our beautiful outcome and our second shark character. 11. General illustration of the first Fish: Hello, My dearest friends. We are back again with another tutorial session for you. In this session, we are going to create fish together. We wanted to see how it's done. Alright, fishes are really, really easy, so just pay a little attention here. I will start my work with creating an oval like this. Then at the end of my oval, I'll create is shaped like a triangle. See if I continue this, it would be a triangle. Then I'll create this top part. Evolve my oval and I'll create a fin. Also, another triangle over here, almost in the center of my oval. Now, I will separate this oval and I will divide it into parts. I only create a circle for the placement of my fishes. I then again, I separate this area for my fish's mouth. Just as easy as this, you see, it was really, really easy. And lower lips should be a little bit more out. Comparing to the upper one. You see, it was easy. This is the general shape of our fish. Will come back and we'll add the details to it. 12. Drawing the details of the first Fish: Hello, hello, My dearest friends. We are going to continue our work on the details of our fish character here. Well, I'll start from the top of its head, actually from the top of the fin. And then I'll create several lines inside of this upper fin like this that you can see. Then I'm going to complete the shape of this upper fin. After that. I would also want to complete DI. I can even create a line below the eye. Then I'll create the pupil. Then. Create another circle around our eye. For my fishes lips. For its mouth. Create a little small smile line here. It should be very small. And then we complete our mouth in a smiley way. I actually darken this line, which separates the face from the body. And you can also create an eyebrow for this character. Then you can later shade inside of it. Then I'll complete this fin, which we have over here. Also creates several lines inside of it for these patterns. This area can actually, we can create some patterns to represent the scales. Fishes scales can also create it like this for this behind area. Then for an annex one, I'm actually going to start from the tip of each prominent shape and then continue that. As you move forward, you can actually create your shapes, your patterns bigger, but it's more careful. Then we can add last create some lines for these patterns. For detail. We start from the ending part of our oval and then we create the triangle from sides like this. Then I would also creates several lines for our fish's tail. Alright, that's it. You see? It was piece of cake. You can erase all the extra lines which are inside of the body are around it. And even on the scales, fishes scales. We will erase all these extra lines are character would show itself completely. Alright. This is out outcome and it's a cute fish character. 13. General illustration of the Whale: Hello to all of my dearest friends. We're back again with another tutorial session for years usual. And this time we are going to create a way together and we want to see how it's done actually. Alright, I'll start with creating a general shape for my whale's body. Then you should also consider that according to the size of the animals that would create either they are animals sees or their land animals. They are sea animals or their land animals. You should just measure their general shape. Comparing to the animal that you're creating. If I'm creating a way, I should definitely consider bigger general shape. I'll create a dome shape for my whale like this, also for its tail. The thing that we are creating right now is just primary. And don't worry, we will just move on to creating the details in the next step. Now from here, I'll create another line for the whale's stomach. I move toward the mouth. Like this. We've started a shape. Then we went up, we've completed it with another general shape until we go to detail. Now that we've created general shape of our body. We will create the placement of the mouth like this. Again, I say the volume between the upper part and the lower part would be our mouth. And from the side of the mouth we term the corner of the mouth. We go down. I say because it's a sea animal and it doesn't matter even if it was a land animal. We would create it. Create the primary sketch. According to the animal that we're creating. I would also create a fin for my whale. And because it has another fin on the other side of its body, I'll create another one over here, just a little part of it. I just create a triangle here. We can show we only see the tip of its fin because it's placed on the other side of my whale's body. You can save clearly from the other angle. This is a primer schedule of our whale. And the next step we're going to complete the details with it. 14. Drawing the details of the Whale: Hello, to allow my dearest friends, I'm back again with continuing my work on my whale character. All right. I'll start from my whale's head as usual. And then I'll start my main lines over here. I'll start creating my main lines. Basically just moving on lines that I've created a, my primary sketch. Them from this side. I go down. Then I'll move like this. Then after that, I'll create the placement of the tongue. Then I will shade the rest of the area inside of the mouth so I can surprise the tongue from this inner part of the mouth. I would have to shade it. All right. Now, from the corner of the mouth, from its side, all gum down. In this area. I will turn and go almost up. Yet. I come out a little. And then on the same line that I've created, the mouth, I'll go down until I get to its stomach. As you can see. Then I will turn this area. We will actually continue a line toward inside, but we would not continue that until the end. From the corner of our mouth. We will create a line going toward the fin. Below our fin actually from two back. Just like a curve with this, sorry, with a curve like this, we move toward the tail and from here again, we come back. We go toward this lower line. Now I will determine displacement of its eyes as well. And then we will move on to creating the fins. I also create its pupil and obviously an eyebrow for our whale. Then I would have to create defend. And I will complete it based on what I had in my primary sketch. I would also create the other one as much as I can see it. All right. Now we're going to create this area which is going to be connected to our whale's tail. So I have to create it like this. As you can see, I just went and create my whale's tail. The shape of whale is in a way that as much as we get closer to the end of the body to the tail. It would be thinner. Yet as much as we come towards the face, the head, the eyes. It should be thicker and wider, actually create my whale's tail. And that's it. This is detail. Several lines. We want to show that Beneath are actually beneath or under our whale's body. We have some patterns and shapes, and it's not flat, and it has some specific volume. This is actually why we are turning these lines because we want to show that we have a prominent shape, prominent volume shaped over here. Just like that, we are going to turn the lines first and then you can move them down. Also create another line like this. Then our last line is actually the main line for our bodies. So not continued more than this. Just 1 that I should tell you is that these lines should be turned this way, definitely because you shouldn't just bring it down or make it ruined. If you pay attention. These several circles will show the shapes. We can also continue several of them toward the end of the body because we want to show that these lines are not separated. Medulla of the way because we cannot see the lines. Precisely. Is all right. Okay. That said, this is our whale character. Now I can erase the extra lines over here. So I work with show itself better. After cleaning all the extra lines and all the guidelines, you're whale is actually going to pop up and pop out and show itself way more better. You'd also erase inside of the fin cell. You would not see the other side of it because it's Finn is no transparent. You can also erase inside of the tail as well. No matter where they are. Alright, that's it. This is our whale character which is completed now. 15. General illustration of the second Fish: Hello to all of my dearest friends. I'm back again with another tutorial session with you. In this session we are going to create another kind of fish together. We've already created one kind. Wanted to see how it's done. All right, I'll start with creating an oval for shaping general construction and a general foundation for my fish's body. I will not create this ending part of my oval around. I'm going to create the sharp because in this area I want to add the tail. I also want my fish to be stretched a little. Determine the placement of the tail. In this way. Actually we are creating kind of a triangle for the placement of our fish's tail. Then I'll continue. Above my fish's head. I will add a fin over here like this. Then again, I can create two very little fins. The lower part of my fish's body, one of them would be on this side and the other one would be on the other side, which we cannot see completely unfortunately, because it goes behind our body. Then for this fish, I would also create a replacement for the eye. I want my fish to have very, very big, huge eyes. Obviously, we would also determine the eyebrows placement. Then for the rest, we should just go and add the details which I am going to tell you about in next step. 16. Drawing the details of the second Fish: Hello, my dear friends. We are going to continue our work on our fish character. And this time we're going to add the details to our fish character. Now let's start from the top of my fish's head. And then I come down over here. I'll just go a little toward inside and out again. It would be just a very, very little curve just to create its mouth better. So I'll create its mouth and I'll create this line toward the face. And it just show that my fishes as smiling. Then from this inner part I'll continue my line coming out. Then we'd return. I'll create the lower lip and the lower part of the mouth. And then from here, which can be counted as the fish chin. From here I'll go down toward the stomach all my fish. Even for inside of the fish's mouth, I'll create a line so I can separate the tongue and then I'll shade Doris of the mouth. Now, I'm going to work on the I Am I going to do that? Well, for great team DI, I will darken the upper eyelid. The fish like this. Then from this inner part, I'm going to start and create the eyes. You should also create the lower line as well, lower eyelid. Then I'm going to create the pupils for my fish. Then for the line for the eyes. Here, I can't even keep a light inside of the eye. Sight of the pupil actually. Then actually below the eye, beneath the guy I can create another line like this and several smaller lines right next to the eye. I am going to complete the eyebrows. Well, inside of the eyebrows, I'm going to use a dark color, black color and then I'll complete its fin. One of them is above my fish's head. There are several lines going from down toward up, coming up to down. Then for I will complete this back part of the fish's body. Like this. I will show a pattern like this for my fish over here. Then for the rest of it, I'm going to use the other shapes over and over again. I'll create it like this. Create the first row just very simply, but from the next rows after that, you should create one part between two others. Then I would also creates several lines for inside of my fish's tail. Like this. Then we will create this lower fence on the sides of our fish. Just consider several lines for it. We just do the same for the other one, which is the other side of the body. Just creates a real lines for it. That's it. This is another fish character which is completed now, this is our outcome. 17. General illustration of the third Fish: Hello To love my dearest friends. And back again. We're continuing our work on our fish character. This is a third fish character that we're creating. I'm going to add the details little by little to my chubby fish. Obviously I start from the top of the head. I bring a line down, then I'll bring this line, take this line toward inside of my fish's body. Until I get to the place below the eyes, I will continue my line toward inside of the face. And then again from the very same point, I come back out the position of them. And even over here I'll create a turn going down. It is just because I want to make my fish more unique and different. All right. I'll connect these two parts of the mouth with a line in the behind. As you can see right now. I will create the eyes completely with complete details. Create my eyes and depart that they are connected. It's the body with a curved line. Then you will create pupils for the fish with keeping a part of the light in it. Now if I started from here, we should also create the other eye as well. The shape is saying, and then I'll create the pupil inside of it as well. Like this. I've created the eyes, the pupils, and the lights inside of the eyes. Because I believe that it's got a little dirty. I will erase the darkness inside of the eye and I'll return to the light. As you can see. I'm emphasizing on the lights in the eyes. It's very easy to handle. All right. This is my fishes eyes. These are actually going to create the eyebrows. If you pay attention, I'm creating the eyebrows above the head. But it's not anything wrong with that. Because if you want to again, do whatever you want in your characters, can create the eyebrows even above the head. Looking like this. I'm going to create this fin above, actually on top of my fish's body. Then from behind the eyes I go toward the tail. I move toward detail. I would also shaped the tail, light this looking like a triangle again. Then I would also create the lines inside of the tail. In the same pattern. Den we come down stomach and lower fins on the size of the body like this. Then you would also create several lines on these fins as well. Because it's the stomach, you should just move very smooth and very slow. Also has two fins that I've told you about. Alright. Now I'll darken this inner part of the mouth after separating the tongue. I mean, I can consider a separate area for tongue in our fish. You can either do that or completely colored dark pens on you. And what you want to do. Now for this fish character as well, I can create several long lines which are actually showing the patterns. You have to create several lines like this. Then we can shade inside and between these lines. This is the shape of our third fish, which actually is homeless complete. It was very easy. Now I'm erasing all the extra lines and all the guidelines, specifically the extra lines on the mouth. So the general shape of the mouth with actually show itself even right now. This is the chubby fish that I've told you about and we've created together. And I can also create several lines over here on it. We can show that this is it. 18. Drawing the details of the third Fish: Hello to allow my dearest friends. We are back again with another tutorial session for you. And here we are going to create a Venn, another fish together. We wanted to see how it's done. Alright. I would want to create a very chubby fish this time. And just like that creates a big oval. And also complete around oval. Almost something between an oval and a circle. We just consider shaped like that. For the general shape of our fish will create a shape like this, as you can see on my paper. This would be my fish's body. Dan. I'll create my fish's tail like this. I will create a triangle shape here. Then for this area on the top of the body and it's above the head, I'll create a very small fin. I would also create two other fends for this lower part of its body. Because the other one is on the other side of the body. And we can note sit completely. We just created it as much as we can see. We would also determine the placement of the eyes. Then we can move on to the next step, which is detailing the work. Okay? Because I'm going to create DIs above the head. I'll create both of them, but one of them cannot be seeing completely. This is a general shape for my chubby fish. Next step, I'm going to add the details to you and teach them to you. 19. General illustration of the Octopus: Hello, my dear friends. We are back again with another tutorial session for you. And in this session we are going to create an octopus together and wanted to see how it's done. All right, I'll start with creating a circle for my octopus face and it's head actually. Then we should create eight legs for this face. Well, I'm going to show the direction of the legs as the same time as I'm determining their placement. I'm using these directional lines because I don't want to lose any lines. I am doing both of them the same way. This is one of the legs. You see. This is the shape of the leg and the direction would be like that. We create another one from behind it toward insight. And another one comes from here, it turns and it goes in again. Another one would be placed from here. I mean, with the start from here. I actually take another one from here and we turn it in this area. We bring another one out of this ones behind, back of this one. We bring in another one over here and another one will actually come out between these two other legs. Like this. You see, very easy. These are the placement of octopus legs. Then I'll create a line for the direction of the face. I want my octopus looking up. I'll create DIs over here. This would be the replacement of its mouth. On these areas. They are actually showing the prominent part for the eyes. They can also be eyebrows. I could also create a very small sea creature on top of its head, above its head. For example. I can create another fun sea creature. Also determine the placement of its eyes. We can even create a baby. Purpose. That depends on you, my friends. Even for that, we can create several lines for its legs as well. It actually stays up in the air, basically in the water, but you cannot say it right now. From here again. And another one can turn and come towards this. This is our baby octopus, which I've created over here. Now in next system, we're going to add the details. 20. Drawing the details of the Octopus: Hello to all of my dearest friends. We are back and we are going to work on our big and little octopus. We are going to start with creating the main lines here. From the side of the face, I come down and I'll start creating the lines for its legs. Move like this. In this area. I'll turn my line and from this side, I go down again and then I go toward the body again. This is our first leg. For the second one, I start from this side. I come down. It's like it's coming from it's behind because, you know, octopus has a circular body, so it also has legs on the other side of its body. The rest of it, which can be seen from here. Then for the next leg, I bring down this line. Then here I'll turn and I'll create the third leg. I can move from the back of this area behind this tip. So it would look more different and more cute. Then from this part, the line that I went up, I come down again and I bring it to this direction and this side alternate to the tip of the leg and going back again toward the body. Okay. These are four legs up to now. Then for the next one, I'll come down. Then I go back up again and down because it's legs doesn't have any bones or anything. They just flow into water. So they can have different shapes and you can have lots of ups and downs in them and lots of turns. Okay, now you want to work on this other leg, which is almost underground created in this shape. This would be my sixth leg. Bring it back toward inside of the body. From here. You can see just a little line behind this area. And then I'll create this one which is going up to our baby octopus. Then I turn and I come all the way down. Only one leg is left that for and for creating that first I should create the rest of my face. I'll bring it down. And then I can create this leg into continuous of this line, which shapes the face. Alternate over here and then I go up again and toward my octopus body. I can create my eyes into placement that I've determined in my primary sketch, in depth position. And I also determine where it's looking. It's looking this way. And for its mouth, I would have to create a shape like this. Okay. Now I want to create our baby octopus. And I'll just do the same as I did for its big occipitalis. I'll do the same from here. As I move on, I'll create its legs. It aids legs. Exactly again, I say as I did for the big octopus, The procedure is completely the same. It's just in a smaller size. This is because it's baby. Basically, we should make it smaller. Then I'll create the eyes. And this one is looking to the big octopus, a friend. It can be its parents. It depends on you how to make his storyline for your characters. Then I'll create the mouth at last. These are our characters for the octopus animal. Then at last, I'm going to use my eraser to erase all these extra lines and main lines and even so many direction lines that we've created for the legs and also for the face. We only keep domain lines both on our big octopus character and our small octopus character. If, for example, a one leg is coming in front of another leg, you should erase the languages in behind. I mean, you should erase the parts which goes behind. A delay which is in front. Because you can only see the front leg, not the one which is passing behind it. Not translucent. As I said, I'll do the same for the small octopus. I'll erase the guidelines. Main lines will show themselves better and more. This is it. As I always say, if you've accidentally erase some of your main lines, you can come back and fix them. Also, we can add some patterns on our body just randomly in some parts it shouldn't have any special rule or discipline. As you can see, I'm just creating some random lines all over the body and some shapes like circles. Just to create some patterns that can help you, especially when you want to color your characters. It can make it more different. This way. This is it. 21. General illustration of the Crab: Hello, I love my dearest friends. We are back with another tutorial for you. This time we are going to create a crap together. All right. I'll start with creating almost a circle, which is similar to an oval as well. With this, I'll start my work. Then. I'll determine the placement. Crabs claws. Just like this, recreate a circle. And from inside of this circle, we create the clause of our crap. Looking like this. And we will do the same for the other side as well. Just exactly the same with the same procedure. So I'll create a circle over here and then I'll get out of it like this. Then I'll determine the placement of the eyes, which would be here on the top of the head or the body because it's the same for our crap. And then I'll create my crabs legs. This is actually a very easy animal. If you pay attention, you can see how easily you can create this character. Three on this side and three on the other side. 12. This would be the third one. Then I'll create a line to check the levels of the legs so they would be on the same level. There won't be bigger or smaller or longer or shorter comparing to each other should be symmetrical. This is a general primary shape of our crap. Next step we'll add the details. 22. Drawing the details of the Crab: Hello to everyone, to all of my friends. We're back with detailing are crap character. Alright. We are going to start from the top of the head, my friends. We determined we actually complete the placement of the arms, of its claws. We will shape the clause very easily. We just follow the lines that we've already created in our primary sketch. This would be one claw and we'll do exactly the same on the other side. As I said before, it's a very easy character, very easy animal. So welcome to this one as well. Now I'll work on the eyes and I would also complete the eyes. Dan, I apply the darkness inside of the eyes to have the pupil actually. Then I'll do the same for the other eye. First I created, when I created pupil. Then I'll create two lines as the eyebrows above the eyes. Just to make it look more fun and cute. Then I'll create a very small and tiny and cute mouth for it. In order to make a better character out of it, then create the tongue and I'll darken the rest of the mouth inside of the mouth. We can also create two circles as its cheeks. Actually. It'll just make it look funnier and cuter. Then I will move onto its legs and I'll create the legs in this way if you pay attention, I'm not separating them from the body. This is where you should be careful not to separate them. There are parts of the body. Then I'll connect these lines all together. This is cute crab character, which was so easy and was done very easily. Then we can also shade some areas, for example, and below the claws or these parts of the body, which is the beginning of the legs. That's it. This is our result. 23. General illustration of the Ray Fish: Hello everyone and welcome back. We are here with another tutorial. And this time we're going to create a ray together. We don't want to see how we can create array. Well, obviously as usual, I'll start with creating a general shape. Then I'll create a shape looking like a drop like this. And this is the general shape for my arrays body. From the sides. Add two parts to this area for my Erase fins. One would be here and another one over here. I'll do the same on the other side as well. And I'll add a thin over here. One would be placed here. Now, this was a general shape. Now we can determine placement of the eyes and the mouth. This would be the placement of the eyes and this would be our mouth. Again, I say this is a general shape of our character that later in next steps we will add the details to it. 24. Drawing the details of the Ray Fish: Hello, my dear friends. We are going to continue our work on our array character. And this time we're going to add the details to our array. We're going to start with creating the eyes. Because our ray is turned toward this direction, we see one of the eyes smaller comparing to the other one. Let's do one of them smaller and the other one bigger. I take one of my eyes, actually behind my face and then I'll create inside of the eye, I created the pupil. And I also consider an area for the back of the eye. Area. This I, which is more inside. We create the I over here completely on this side. And then I'll create the pupil inside of it. For here. I will create a nose with curved yet sharp line and then I create the nostrils, again, one of them bigger and the other one's smaller. I'll create my mouth. And dressed like that. I will create, I will consider mouth here. I'll create them out, then I'll create the tongue, and then I darken the rest of mouth. From the side of the mouth, I create a line going down. Therefore, inner part of my fish's body would be different from the outer part of it. Would be separated. Actually. We have to create the inner line from the side of the mouth and the outer line from the side of the eye. Then we connect these two lines together. Then bring it toward the body. I turn it on, I bring it toward the body. Again. From here, we come out a little to create the lower fin. And also one part to show that this is the outer area. I'll create it like this and add this area. Again for the tail and the bottom part of the body will do the same. This will be the separation of the inner part of the body. And then I'll add another part for the outer part of the body, which is the tale of my array, goes up at the end. It would be almost a very thin sharp. Then we just connect it to this inner part of the body. Become from this line we go up, it turns out we go back. We just do the same thing as we did for the other friends on the other side of the body. Then we add an outer part two, it will do the same for this as well. Basically it's the same. We create an inner part and an outer part for everywhere Dan, we separate this inner part of the body with a line until it gets to the end of the body. Now we can actually shade the outer parts of the body to show this contrast and show this difference even more. This would be this outer part of our face. We'll shade it. We get to this part. When we get to the Finns detail and do it all over again. Like this. This is our very cute re, character. And at last, as usual as we did for other characters, you can come over and erase the extra lines. Atlas, we'll erase all the extra lies and array would be complete. Now it can show perfect SLI can also add several lines over here. Not so much and not too dark, just to give it some volume and more shape. That's it. This is our results and outcome array character. 25. General illustration of the first Frog: Hello, Joe Levine, dear friends, I am back with another tutorial session for you. And in this session, we are going to create a frog together. Now, I'm going to start with a circle shape. And I'll create a very chubby frog. I mean, we want to create a chubby, very chubby frog. Together. After you've created this area, you should determine two parts, two prominent parts for the placement of the eyes, the top of our circle. Then we will determine the placement of the leg, which is here. In this shape. We create to foot the flipper, it has flippers. Then we create. We actually determine the position of the hand. Like this. Because we cannot see the other leg and the other hand completely. We only see the front part of the hand and the two prophets flipper its feet. This way we only see the parts that we can see because our bodies turned and we cannot see both sides completely. Then for this side that we can see, I will separate the inner part of the body from the outer part. I'll do it with a line and in the continuous set of that, I'll create my frogs mouth. Again. I see, As you can see, our body is turned on. This is our direction line, which is in this way. This is a general shape and primary sketch. Next step, I will add the details. 26. Drawing the details of the first Frog: Hello, my dear friends. I'm back with Cantonese, my work on my frog character, and this time I am adding details to my frog. All right, I'm going to start with the eyes and complete them first. Just like that. I'll create this top part of the eyes. And then we will add the eyes over here in this way. And then I want to create my frog's eye lid little bit lower. Because our frog is little chubby. It would look funnier and cuter. Then we create the other eye, which is a smaller behind this one. And then we create the pupils inside of them. Then we will create anestrus for him. We also create a mouth in this shape. For the back of my eye lid. I can go, I can reach my bank. These parts, you can also create some prominent parts in some patterns, some circles, in order to create some shapes and patterns on the back of our frog. On its skin. We created this inner part from the eye toward the mouth. We come to the legs and recreate the legs this way. Complete the legs like this. You can also create a line for this inner part of the lake. Then I'm going to create the flippers or the foot of my frog character. We can also create several lines to show the flipper even better. I'll creates its hand. I can even create silver all tiny small fingers for it. Complete a hand with this small fingers and I go up again. I'll do the same for the other hand. Complete it like this. We will determine the placement and then we'll create the fingers. Then I'll create the other leg. I'll complete it as well. I can also create two lines over here as the same as I did for my first leg. Then for here below the mouth, we can create some lines like this. And we can add them to our frog. It actually shows the volume of our frog very well. This is our frog that we can even erase. It's extra lines. After we're done with the whole character, we should actually erase all the extra lines and only keep the main lines. This way I or character can show itself better and more. As you can see it did for this one. This is our result. 27. General illustration of the second Frog: Hello everyone. I'm back here for you with another tutorial session. In this session we're going to create another frog all together. And now I'm going to start my work with almost synovial, going to create an oval. And then for its body, I will create a shape like this. I'll consider a shape like this. And then I'll determine the placement of its arms and legs. This would be the placement of my frogs hand. And the other one should come from this back, from behind toward outside. And these would be the fingers. Then we also create a leg for this side that this would be its flipper. Later I'll do the other one which is, which actually a part of it is behind the body and we can only see a small part of it. We'll create it like this. Everything is in position of the body parts. This is the general shape of its body. Then I would also determine the placement of my frog's eyes. This is one of them and this is the second eye. Here would be our mouth. Like this. This is a general shape and now we want to add the details. 28. Drawing the details of the second Frog: Hello my dear friends. Going to detail our frog and continue our work. Alright. I start from the upper eyelid for my frog's eyes. Then I'll continue with the line between the two eyes. And then I move on to create the upper eyelid of the other eye. Then I will create DI inside of this. And obviously I would create the P appeals as well. No, I wanted to work on the other eye. I'll just do the same. Just like that. I'll create it inside of my I am and I create the pupil inside of the eye that I create here. Then from the side of my eye lid, I go down and out and then toward inside of the body. From this side. I also do the same. I go down. Then this time I go toward inside the face to create the mouth. Until I get to the back of the body, will create the nostrils over here. Several small lines for this middle area to show the texture better. Alright. Now I will continue the body. I will bring this line towards the neck and then my frogs stomach, which would be here. And from here, I'll create the back of the body kind of corner raise line. It's a straight line as you can see. And then I will add the leg to the frog's body. This is the leg and I would also create a line for inner part of the leg. It's because here actually it's leg is bent and it can be a straightened. So we'll create this line to show frog's leg better. I will create its flipper, its foot. You can create the fingers, or you can create flippers. Because in the previous model I've created flippers in this time. I've created fingers so you can see both are possible and creating characters. I will create the hands. I'll create also some fingers for my hands. For its hands. I mean, now create the other hand on the other side of the body. And I will complete it. As you can see, we can create the fingers very easily and then rest of the hand as we did for the hand will do for the leg. I mean, we create a leg on the other side of the body exactly the same way that we did for this leg. Very easily. And the procedure is the same. Just be careful because these fingers are further from us and on the other side of the body, they will be seen smaller and lists. Now, in this way we will finish our work. I will connect this part to my hand, to its hand. And now our work is completely done. We can now erase all the extra lines from here. You would actually know which are. Our main lines. Also create the lines inside of the eye, and this is our complete frog character, our second. For our character, you can also create some lines beneath the throat to show the wrinkles, to show the textures and the volumes better. Actually, that's it. This is our result. 29. General illustration of the Crocodile: Hello, my dear friends. We are back with another tutorial session. And in this session, we are actually going to work on an alligator together and we want to see how it's done. Alligator character, all sought from the general shape of my alligator. As usual, we will get to the details. I'll start with the general shape and placement position of my allegory, alligators head, sorry. I will create an oval for my gators head. Then for its body. I'm going to create another oval. I want the body to be a little bit lower comparing to the head. And that's why I started from this part, from this point. Then I will finish my oval on this lower part of the head and inside of the head. As you can see. Now, I will work on detail. And I'll show with another two ovals. This is one of them. I'll consider another oval for the end of detail. If created several OLS just right after each other and next to each other. Even for the arms and legs, I'm going to create some OLS because I want my gators arm to be a little bit bend. I will create another oval in here. And then for the hand which is almost so under Grant and another oval, we do not see the other hand on the other side of the body. But I can consider an oval for it that we can only see one part of it. Then I'll create this lower area, this lower part, much more smaller than this hand, which is closer to us. The other arm on the other hand will be created. Not much more, sorry. But you can see that the other arm and the hand on the other sides are smaller because they are growing perspective. Indiana, of this old I've created for the body, I'll create the legs. This hand or this leg is the biggest one actually because it's closer to us. It's more in front. So as we move further, smaller. That's why I will create the back legs looking like this. So our proportions doesn't gets ruined. And it goes in perspective. You should definitely consider these two reasons. I work would actually be proportionate and it would be attractive. We cannot see the other leg at all. We don't see anything go it. So we don't create anything of it. Just be careful. These laws that we've created, our volumes and shapes and they are not complete, but a step-by-step VR going to add different parts to these shapes that we've created. Alright, now I will determine the placement of the eyes. Over here in the middle. We are going to have the eyes. Just like that. I'll determine the placement of the eyes and then I'll create the general shape for my gators mouth. Because Gators should have very, very big and huge mouth. I'll create this. I will actually, I'll separate this into two parts, the upper jaw and the lower jaw. Then later when we are adding the details, I will tell you about this more and more. This is a general shape of our Gator and above the gay there to create a very small bird. So it would even look cuter. I would also determine this cute bird. Because in this way, I want my bird to sit on the Gators head. This is a general shape for decade or in next step, we have to add the details to our work. So add some tiny details to diverge so it look natural and beautiful. All right. 30. Drawing the details of the Crocodile: Hello, My dearest friends. We are backward continuing our work on our alligator character. Now we want to add the details to our character. We start from the eyes. And I will add the details step-by-step. Well, first of all, evolve each eye, I'll create a prominent part of prominent shape. To show the upper part of the head. Then I will complete DIs like this. Now I'm going to create the eyes looking up. It's like my gator is looking at the bird. Then I'll create the other eye. Here we go. Then I'll create the pupil inside of the eye. Then I'll create some lines below the eyes so I can show its volume better. Now. From next to my eyes, I'll create the rest of the face which can be seen. Then we'd continuing our lines. We will complete the nasal area. Then we turn. I will create a nose. Then it's straw as well. Just like that, I will apply several ups and downs for the jaw, some curves and some prominent parts in the mouth. Then we will move towards the eyes again. And then with a curved line, we will finish off her job. And then from here, again, we come down toward the Lord jump. This inner part of our mouth. From this side of the mouth. You can also see a part of the jaw and a part of inside of the mouth. We come down and then we'd go back to the end of the mouth. Then from the side. Because you want to show this other part of our mouth, we come down again, will shape this area. From here, we go to the clinic and the bottom part of our body. Alright. I will determine the placement of the nostrils. Well obviously, then Australia, which is closer to us, is bigger and the other one would be smaller. It should consider it smaller. Then I will create its teeth. One of them would be here and another one right next to it. And just like that creates several teeth. Just to show the depth of my character. I mean, its characteristics. Even I can create one of them bigger and another one smaller. And actually to the end of the mouth as well. I should consider several teeth for my lower jaw. One of them can be here and another one can be right next to it. I'm just creating them almost randomly. It's not like I'm measuring all of them. We can even have two of them right next to each other, stuck into each other. I will determine the placement of the tongue. From here. I will turn the tongue a little from here. The tongue would be turned into it. Then I'll create the tip of my tongue like this. Then we will darken the other parts. Inside of the mouth, recreate the teeth. I mean, relieve the teeth and the tongue uncolored. And then we shade the rest of the area to separate these parts inside of the mouth. This is my gators, nose and draw and mouth. Now what I'm going to do, I'm going to continue the face from behind the eyes. And then over here we have a prominent parts in our face and it has some volume. It's actually are Gators cheek. Then we are going to show it with this line. And we will create this area which is actually our neck, throat. From here, I will create the rest of the body. Go once inside. And then from here again, I'll create a curved line toured here. Then the last I'll continue. Detail where to turn. Like this. Then the tip of the tail, the ending part of the tail. Then again from this side, I start from the tip of the tail, which would be here. I go in the opposite direction and I get to here. From here again, my tail has a turn and twist toward the legs. I will also show some volume at the side of my tail. Because we want to show that our tail has a volume and it starts flat. I'm actually going to create this line for the side of the tail so we can show we are seeing a part of the body which is turned and it's actually apart from inside of the body. Continue until I get two legs and then I'll create the volume for the legs like this. From here I'll start. I'll determine the ending part of the legs. Then. I also create the nails over here. And this is the third nail. And even on my foot and leg, I can create several lines to show the volumes better. Mostly curved lines and maybe some circles as I did for here. All right. My girders body, you can see several shapes and patterns that we should continue that from here. First of all, I'm going to create two lines for these patterns. One of them is actually in front and the other one is the sight line does, I'm going to create over here. Then in here, line will turn and it will continue to the end of the tail that I'll start from this side line. With creating these patterns and shapes on Gators body. These are actually on our Gators body. Then on this area. I will create these shapes because we wanted to show that this area also has these patterns on it. We have to create them and be careful. You would have to show the turns and twists all alongside your body. So be careful about direction that you are creating your patterns and your volume shapes. And now I want to work on the sideline because it's closer to me. I will create it bigger. So you would show that it's much further from us and these are much closer to us because it goes into perspective. As we move further. These would be further from us and smaller because this area has gone down, we can not see it anymore. Again. Just in front of this, these shapes, these volume Chase, we will create other ones right across them. This area is a straight. Yet. Again, I will change the shape. Even at last. I will create another one. All right. These are the ones that we've considered for the top of the body, for its back actually. Now I'm going to complete this front leg, which is actually my gators hand and arm. So I'll complete it. This shape. We will complete the leg, we will complete it, the arm. Then we will create a nails as well. This is the last one. Then. I'm going to separate the nails with several lines here. We'll all do the same for the other leg as well. And we would also create this very small part that we see from this side, from the other side of the body. We only see a small part of the leg and only two of the nails. We will create that as well. The third one, as you can see, is very, very little because it's completely on the other side. Over here. Again, I'll create a curved line to show the volume over here on the hand, which is closer to us. As I said before, you can also create some patterns and shapes on your Gators body like this, can create some patterns and it's better not to leave it to empty. Or too simple. I should also separate the stomach area like this only with a line. We will turn this line in order to show that this area has gone down. And then with these several lines, we also show the volume on our Gators, the stomach. Then from here with these two curved lines, I will complete the volume. And I will also show that our body is turned and twisted until it gets to the end. That's it. I'm going to create and complete the bird which is sitting above its head actually on its head. Also create two feathers. Top of its head. Then the eyebrows, the eyes. Great. My bird's eyes looking down. It's like it's looking at the Gator. Exactly the opposite way that we've created the gay there. It's looking up. The bird is looking down. I'll create wings for it. And also I should create the legs. Yet, I should put them above my gators eyes. All right, This is it. This is our Gator with a bird on its head, on top of its head. We're going to erase all the extra lines so our work would be over, would be done. Well, the details of gators body are a little too much. Yet. If you go through the phases step-by-step, you won't face any problems. Annual can actually move on very easily. Just like that. You should just erase all the extra and all the guidelines. Just like what I'm doing right now. Alright, This is it. This is our Gator with a bird on top of its head. And this is our alligator character. 31. General illustration of the first Penguin: Hello, My dearest friends. We are back again with another tutorial session for you. Well, in this session we are going to create a penguin together. This is one of the Q DOS little animals that can be seen and I actually liked them. Going to start with my penguins body. I'll determined displacement of its head. Then I'm going to add the body to it. Denote forget that this is only our primary and general sketch later. So many things can be added to it. You can even Note, create this circle, and just create the whole shape all at once. But because I want the shape of the face and the head to be more clear of created it in a circle to give it some directions and angles. This would be the direction of our penguins phase. So the phase should face this way. First of all, determine the penguins. Be looking like this. This is a general shape. Then I'll do the same for the lower part of the beak, like this. Okay. Then I would also determine the placement of the eyes. I want my character to have closed dies. And for that, I would have to use lines instead of the eyes. Would create by penguins hands looking like this. And I would also create the other hand, toured up. It's like my penguin is trying to say something. Now I will create my penguins legs. So I will consider a volume for its legs. Then in detailing phase, I'm going to add its complete shape. Then at last, I'll create my penguins tail very little and small. Over here on the bottom. As you can see, this is a general shape, is a primary sketch of our penguin. I would also create this line to separate two parts of the body, the stomach and the back. Inner area and the outer area. This is something I thought I should I should tell you. In next step, we're going to work on the details together. 32. Drawing the details of the first Penguin: Hello everyone. I'm back again with continuing our work on our penguin. This time we're going to add the details to our penguin. Alright. I'll start with creating the eyes. I'll determine them over here. Because I want my character's eyes to be closed. I'm going to show them with a line. Again, I insist on it because I've said it before. The other eye is even further for almost therefore we should created even smaller than that Den, with a curved line above this line. We are actually going to complete. The eyes. Can even have one line below the eye, but the eyes can not be sin completely. Did I would create my penguins eyebrows on both sides. That's and then from the side of the eyes will move towards the beak. We will complete it. Then between the two eyes, I will create an oval as the beginning of my work here. And then I move up toward the tip of the beak. There that come down and I complete the beak just with a twist and turn move. I'll go down just like that. And from here, we get to the end of our beak. Would even have my nostril on the beach. I would also have to create the lower beak. So I'm going to shape it like this. First, I'll come down, I'll go around its mouth. Then from this inner part of my big, I come down and I will also show inside of the mouth. I'll determine the Chong, I'll separate the tongue and I darken the rest of the area. Very easily. We've created our beak. For this other part which is in the back of the penguins head. We go down. This way. From this area, we come down from chocolate, come down. And we get to detail. This way are shave would be more attractive. For the front part from actually beneath the beak. I have to create a coroner rays and a curve line. Then exactly from the central of it I create another curved line. All right, Now I'm going to continue. I'll bring one line down to the stomach. And I'm doing that because I want to show you do belly and stomach of a penguin. I would continued over here. Because we are moving here, we would have a curve and then again we go back toward detail. You would also create another current line above this. We would have to know this area has some wrinkles on it and this can fix it. Now I want to complete my penguins arm. Then I will consider another line to show that our hand or arm has a volume for our itself. It has an outer side and an inner site, which we are going to show both of them completely over here. We would also create the other hand, just as this over here, our create another curved line for showing the volume of the arms even better. Now, at last I'll create detail. And then I can move on and create the legs or feet pens on. We are going to create some flippers for our penguin. And then we would also create one or two lines for its feet. And we'll do the exact same thing for the other feet as well. The other foot's as well. All right. This is my penguins. Shay. Just we should continue this line which we will started at the corner of the mouth and we would come all the way down through here. Now, as usual, I'm going to erase the extra lines and all the main lines. My penguin would actually believe in its role and its characteristics. These are the extra lines which were erased completely. I'm going to use my gray color and continue the work. I'm going to work with the color 396 for this outer part of my penguins body. Because I wanted to show the contrast among two colors. I would shade this area atom actually putting pressure on my pencil. So my work has also some creature, our penguin would have some contrast in his body and I would just have different colors in my work. Alright. Now in different parts, I want them to, to show you how you can color or you can even do some hatchlings over here. You can do such a thing here. Then you should be careful that you would only have to color the parts which are darker and you should notice color the white areas. I'm going to use color 3484 by penguins beak. Because the big should be a little bit darker comparing to the body. Don't remember that as well. I mean, don't forget that as well. Because later you're going to create it all by yourself and you might want to color it, so you would have to know, it's better that for example, in this character, the color of the beak would be darker. Then you can actually create a tongue and you apply a shades furry shavings for it. Then I'll make the flippers ready. Again for the legs. For the flippers, it should be a little bit darker. Comparing to the body. It looks like the vk more than the body. That's it. This is our final result as our first penguin that we've created together. 33. General illustration of the second Penguin: Hello, My dearest friends. I'm back with another tutorial session for you. And this time I'm going to create another model of penguins to gather. All right, I want to create a very thin penguin for you, this Stein. And I'll start by work like this. First, I'll create completely stretched and thin oval. I wouldn't actually end my oval over here. I will continue the rest of the world downward. And then I'll create this lower area. I will make it round. Then I create this line downward. Like this. This is actually the general shape of our penguins body, that it's too thin. I will determine different body parts for an MA actually, I'll determine the placement and position of different body parts. This would be, for example, the placement of our penguins neck and it speak. And it's upper beak. And I'll add the details later on in my next steps that I will determine the placement of the eyes just above the beak, one of them, one of the eyes is closer to us. Therefore it would be bigger and it would go into perspective. Then I will create by penguins arms, which are a little bit below the link, actually some little weird. The other hand the other arm will go into back go into back of the body. Okay. Broad one arm forth and the other one back. I would also determine the placement of the tail over here. Then we are going to determine a placement for the legs, exactly as I did for the arms, creating one of them in fourth and the other one back. I'm going to create the legs in the same shape, for example, one of them, one of the flippers would be like this, facing downward more and it will actually rising the other leg. And it's in the air. For this leg we can see actually the bottom part of the leg, but for the right one we can only see it completely. Then from the sides of the body. I'll create this separating line. Then I will connect it to the corner of the mouth. Like this. This is a primary in general shape of our second penguin. 34. Drawing the details of the second Penguin: Hello to my dearest friends. We're going to continue our work on our second penguin together. This time we want to add the details to our character. I'm going to start with the head, from the top of the head and from the side of the beak. I will go up. Then from here, I come down and I'll shape it like this. I'm going to complete the beak and then I will create the eyes later. After that. I started from this area, which is the center of my beak. And then I come down. I'll create beak very sharp. This tip completely sharp and then I would move toward inside of face. Then for the lower beak, I'll do the same from here a little bit more inside. I moved toward inside of the face. And then I'll get to the eyes, which are at the ending part of the beak. At the beginning part of the beak. To be more precise than I'll create a nostril on my beak and then I'll create DIs, in this way. I want the eyes to be created in a very tired shape. Looked like my penguin is a sleepy or tired, so I bring down the upper eyelid a little. It's wide open. It sorry, it's wide shot and I will create do pupils inside of the eyes as well. Because I'm creating the eyes in a very tired way and sleep your way. We're going to actually sharpen this side. Moore's to show that tired feeling even more than that. Then I will create eyebrows. This shape for my penguins, so I can completely show that my penguin is tired or sleepy. We've completed our penguins phase. We are going to work on its arms. We are going to shape them like this. Then I'll create this front arm. I just completed like this. Two layers. Then actually from here, the ending part of the arm, the corner of it. I'll create a line to show some wrinkles on the body to show the volume better. Denial continue line, continue this line down until I get to detail. And then I'll create detail. From here I bring the line up, I make a sharp turn. And over here I'll create another wrinkle for skin to show its volume better. Then I would go up again the back of the body and D other hand, we've created at first. All right. Wherever the arm is turned or we would have turned or twisted volume, we are going to create these kinds of wrinkles with curved lines. I'm going to start with creating the legs. I'm going to start with the one which is on the ground. From detail. We go inside. Then we create this leg which is almost completely on the ground. Then I'll determine fingers on the flippers as well. Show this part of the leg more ambassador. For the other leg. I will do it like this. I'll create the bottom of the leg, then I will create its flippers, fingers. And then we'll create a line just on the side of the fingers because we wanted to show that this area has some volume is not flat and it has something on the other side of it as well. Then from here we go towards the stomach and up toward the hand, and that's it. Now I'm going to erase all the extra lines. So my sketch would actually show itself much more better. Especially inside of the beak. I'll create it. I will erase all those extra lines, sorry. Also all the guidelines which were useless to us right now. Erase inside of my arms over here. Looking like this. This is actually the results of our work, the outcome. This is our second penguin in a different shape and different model. I've forgotten to, I actually forgot to complete this area, but now this is it. For this area. For here. Also. You can either shaded or you can color. It depends on you. For example, you can do it in gray color as we did for the other one.
