1. Intro: Hi. My name is Matias. Welcome to this class. I'm drawing on the experience of creating hundreds of hundreds of video for social media and be over a decade in sales. I'm super excited to teach this class because I know firsthand what impact videos can have when it comes to sales. And what exactly is sales with screen recording videos like to name to justice are recordings from your screen that you send over to clients to convince them by your product. That helped me in my world as a sales rep to create over 1 million of revenue per year. This course, we will talk about all you need to get started from equipment, from software, from structure. We will cover it all. So at the end of this class, you'll know exactly how to implement screen recording videos into your sales process. I can't wait to see you in the first lesson. 2. What do you need?: So let's talk about what do you need to get started? Well, you can be happy. It's not so much. First, you need the software to make the screen recordings. I personally use potion, but sadly, they don't have a free plant, so I would recommend either Looms Loom or Wiyard with the free version to start, but probably later on, you need to do an upgrade to the paid version for all the features you need for more videos because the free version, it's probably limited. Second, you need a microphone. As you can see, I have a wireless Avian microphone, but for this use case, I would recommend an USB microphone. For example, this one from Razor, I'm going to link you all my recommendations in the handout. And third, you may need a webcam if you want to show your face, and I definitely recommend show your face because like, again, nothing builds trust easier and faster than showing your face. I also have my webcam from razor, but there are dozens on the market for approx 30, 40 years. I recommend you have at least one ATP recordings have a good visual from you too. And don't forget the light. You can see I'm using light right here. If you don't have a window close to your office space, you should invest in some light. Can be also a ring light if you are really in the budget. But on Amazon, you have, for 30, 40 bucks, a double pack from two D panels, what you can use. So now let's talk about the three ways where you can use video screen recordings. See you in a second. 3. Class Project: As a class project, post here your first screen recording video either as a link directly to your video or make a screenshot from a recording, and I will give you some feedback. Can't wait to see your video. 4. The 3 Usecases: Let's talk about the tree applications or use cases for video screen recordings. Number one is the product demo. Number two is the personal message, and number three is like kind of marketing email with the video included. Let's talk about number one. Product demos is also one of my favorite. First, of course, you need to know what your prospect, what your audience want to see. If if you talked with the prospect before in discovery call and now want follow up, then of course, show them the pain that he mentioned and how you with your solution can fix or solve his problems. If you didn't talk with him before, then talk about then talk about industry related pains and how your solution can fix it. For example, if you have a lot truck drivers and you know their problems, how your solution can fix this, for example, navigation. Then you go in your tool and show, hey, the most of my truck drivers have this problem, let me show superfast how you can fix it. Important. Don't talk only about the features, better talk about how the features can solve the problems from your prospects. If you have physical products, it's a little different. Obviously, you don't get max screen recordings. So what you can do. One option is if you have, generic product videos ready, you can upload this in your video screen tool and send them a link. But it's not so personalized. So what you can do if you have a phone and you have your product handy you go there, make a video and talk about, hey, hey Martinez, like a self video. I know you had this problem I don't know, with your shoes. Let me show how my shoes can make you work better and you show it. And then you upload it in your tool and sent the link. Alright, let's talk about number two, personal message. There are a lot of ways where you can use personal message, for example, follow ups. If you talk with your prospect and you want follow up, but you say emails are not so cool like me, then you can make follow up per video. You can record the background from the company or from your product, but it doesn't matter so much. In this scenario, just you talk into the wrap cam and ask like, Hey, how was it going? We had contact, we talked about this. Do you already fix that problem, and so on. And just send it. Trust me, this works a lot better than the same only via text on an email. Also, you can do after sales like onboarding. For example, if you sell something, you can make short onboarding videos or tips and twigs after your customer signed up. Maybe you can also make automated more or less, not personalized video. Depends on you how you want to do it. And of course, you can use it for customer acquisition. Like, two ways that work really well is one, you go on the link and profile of your prospect. Have this in your screen sharing, and you say, Hey, Matias, I found here your profile. I think we have something in common or in the pictures, maybe not like that. But hey, I think you make a post about this topic or you like my post about my topic. Let's open a call and talk about it. For example. But also what you can do if you don't have a incen profile from your prospect, if you find the homepage, of course, you have the homepage from your prospectors background and do the same basically. This works this works really, really well with web designers. I mean, if you sell web pages, you go on your customer's web page and give them some tips about how you can improve. And if they want health rezar, just contact me. I would do it if I'm a web designer every day all the day. One tip, what I would do in every video, what I send to prospects or customers. Wink in the first second. Yeah, you might feel stupid like me. But in the most video tools, you can have not only a link to share, but also a if Jif like a thumbnail. So if you wink in your first second, this is also in the Jif so you put this in the emails sent the email and your prospect ops evil, and there's some guy winking like an id. And he's saying like, Oh, who is this person? I just want C, and he clicks the link. This almost doubled my video open ratio. So this is what is about the three scenarios where you can use video screen video screen recordings. Now let's talk about this structure in the next chapter. See you in a moment. 5. Structure: Let's talk about the structure really quick. Why quick? This done super quick. First, of course, why down. Bullet points. What do you want to say? Also, have s too, have the webpage or LinkedIn profile or whatever you want to share ready. Then the structure is really simple. You have the opening. If it's pitching, if it's acquisition, you introduce yourself. If it's with people you know, prospects, you say, Hey, I just want to show you really quick this topic X, and you go into it. And then it's followed from the middle part where you talk about what you want to talk. How is that what you are selling can solve the customer's problems? And that is followed from call to action. Like book a meeting with me, answer me to my email. Luckily, in the most from this screen recording tool, you can include a button where somebody can book super fast meeting with you. And that is about structure. Let's talk about sales psychology. See you in the next video. 6. Sales: Talk about the psychology of selling or sales. Correct me. When you record videos, you have you have two channels. You have your voice, you have the audio, and you have your image, the video. So I recommend use both. Speak clearly pronounce the important stuff slowly. And if you're in the camera, smile if possible. Of course, not always, like the grinch or something real. Now, but also watch into the camera whenever possible. If it's not possible because you need to look at your screen, then look every few seconds, look up and speak directly to the person who views this video to his for he feel engaged. And again, don't speak about the features. Talk about the benefits that you push that your prospect your customer gonna have from the features. For example, if you sell shoes with high tech leather, don't say my shoes are made from high tech leather. High value leather, whatever, our high tech leather shoes. You're never going to have wet feeds. You can use them forever. They're super flexible. I think you get my point. So that's it, about the psychology, like I promised, and I'll see you in the next video. 7. Recording: Talk about how to create a video video screen video. Now, let's talk about how to create a screen video step by step. Step number one, have the website or the profile you want to share the background handy. Step number two, make you some bullet points to see most important the most important things you want to say. Then click Record. The most from these tools have a chrom extension where you just click the button, choose the screen and click record. Then you remember the tree sentence, the intro, the middle part, and the CTA. Just do that. I mean, you learned it already. Then click Stop. Sometimes this page need a moment also depends how long a video is to generate your video. But if you have your video, copy the link or copy the Jif and the link and paste it into the video or the chat wherever you want to send it. I think I don't need to send anymore. And a bonus tip from me, don't cut out any mistakes you may say. Don't count out any mistakes. Why? Because this makes you human and humans buy from humans. Really foxy mistakes. Can I say that? Yeah, I think I can. It's my core, so I can say that. Will you **** the mistakes? It's okay. I never cut out any from my mistakes anymore, because this makes me. This makes me me, right? And this makes you you. So be you have your mistakes, have your s and s. Is is not important. And that's it. Now you have your VD ready. Now you know how to do it. I wish you all the best with this. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me. Bye. Oh. Check out the power. 8. Videos with AI: Bonus, I have a little nuget for you. As you know, AI is rising. Everybody talk about AIS nowadays. So of course, also kind of video is what I'm doing here. So there is this tool called potion. I think the name is spotion.com. Send Potion, Google, you're going to find it. Anyway, you can record one video, like, for example, industry related videos, and you don't need to say the name in the beginning anymore. So you record one, you upload exo sheet with all the names, and this software we and this software generates the names like Hi, Tom, Hi Matias, Hi, Kevin. So I think it's a huge timesaver. I'll just check in the dot right now. So check it out and let me know what you think. Bye. 9. Outro: I really hope this class was helpful for you. Please leave me a review here on skill share, and I hope I'm going to see you in the next class. Have a nice day.
