Speaking Powerhouse, where we believe that
your history matters. Today, we are going to speak about one very important
topic, that is, how we can change or life by developing our skills
in public speaking. My name is Agustin Rosa, I'm podcaster, public speaker and
entrepreneur is killing. If you are afraid of being

2. Lesson 01: Embrace the Public Speaking Powerhouse Lifestyle and Mindset: See the fear of public
speaking like a foil, like the energy that you need
to share your message with your audience and adopt
a growth mindset. Let's just say, Okay, I'm going to do my best today. I don't know if I will
do the perfect peach. I don't know if I will
have all the skills. I don't know if I have all
the experience needed, but the thing that
I'm going to Lewis, I'm going to do my best. I'm going to share my message. And I will learn from all the mistakes that
I will look bad. Be yourself, be authentic. One thing that is very important in this moment
is when we want to develop these skills and then
we want to be authentic, and then we want to share

3. Lesson 02: Cultivate Unwavering Confidence and Stage Presence: Today I want to speak
with you about one of the most important

in front of two people. Sometimes you will
have the opportunity to be in front of 1,000 people, and then sometimes

listening your message. So one thing that
helped me a lot, it was visualized everything
that I was to achieve, everything that I want to
share with the audience. And he was my buddy and

important because I want the shiny person

this skill like doing 100 confidence around
different countries in an different languages. That it was my Spanish

develop the skills that I need in order to

to create more confidence. I started to overcome the fear
of public speaking faster. I start to create new
things in order to move around Europe
and not only working, doing the confidence to

4. Lesson 03: Master the Art of Effective Communication and Connection-Building: One of the most important
things that we have to take care when we're
creating our history, when we want to share this. Storytelling with
another person is to fix what is your main
goal that you want to achieve with
your presentation is not the same if you want
to sell, is not the same. If you want to inspire
is not the same. If you want to share
unexperienced, if not the same, if you want to say that you
have these Social Project. So people can be
involved when you have clear that you have a main objective for
your presentation. And every time this
message is going to be the same but in
different formats. To accomplish this objective, we will have to take care about the second most
important thing. Who is the audience with
the person that is going to listen or message is not the same if you are going
to speak with child, with young people,
with professional, with people that they are
retire because at the end, you need to share your one story that impact
all their people life, that impact all the people life with different strategies. So the first thing,
just tap your goal. The second thing, you know,
who is your audience? The third thing that
you have to create for your history and for me is helping a lot is to write
down all their highlights, all the key points they
want to share with reality. Sometimes I feel stressed, sometimes I feel the
depression about Oh my God, I you know what,
I'm going to say. One thing that I do and I
want to share with you is I have this muse that
these are UGG, so I can check my brain and
I do relaxing meditation's, I do relaxing activity so I
can check with my smartphone. What happened? How is my
brain working at this moment? And at the moment
that I feel relaxed, at the moment that I feel that I don't have all the pressure
that I had before. So I keep this and
continue working, creating my history,
creating the highlights. So in that part, to
reduce these histories, I use different techniques, but the ECG their meals
is going is helping me a lot in order to understand WHO is my buddy hose my brain. The second thing that I do
is I work around my house. I go running to one
specific place and then I take inspirational ideas about what I want to share with you. For example, either a
lobe few years ago, one topic that is called
the successful mindset. And this was helpful mindset is a conference that I
shared with people. And he's very interesting

with the person that is in the high-school
that maybe they are lost. They don't know what
they want to study. I have this story where I
speak about the boolean, all the process that I was
suffering at the high-school. What was the hard decisions
that I had to do in my life in order to decided
what I want to study. When I'm with entrepreneurs, that they want to know about
these successful mindset, what I'm teaching and I'm helping them to understand
with this situation is don't care about if you have any limitation
because at the end you can develop
your own company. You can develop your own skills, you can inspire other people. So the best way being
entrepreneur is sharing your message with a
word when I'm with parents. And then they want to have these different skills to speak with his family, your children. One thing that for
me is helping a lot. It's like, okay, we're
going to develop these successful mindset in the way that you can achieve
the goals with your family. So you are not like a different key elements in your family, your family unit. That can me to start to
develop these storytelling. One thing that is
very important in the Storytelling is that you have to include key elements
in your public speaking, in duress keys in your
history, in your message. Because imagine,
I'm Agustin Rosa. Everything in my
life was perfect. So I have the most amazing life. I have all the resources because I'm from a
multimillionaire, families and I represent
a successful 300 years, often entrepreneurs
in my family. And you know, everything
in my life is perfect. I don't have any
problem with anything. So people at the end say, Okay, I'm not going to listen this
person because they are no anything of value
in this history. When you start to say, okay, I'm not going to
speak about myself. I am going to give you all the tables that
they have learned and all the theoretical parts that I can create in my history, people start to disconnect
because they are no emotional elements
that do connect. So one thing that is going
to happen when us speak about so many details
and so many things, and statistics and theoretical blah, blah, blah, blah,
blah, blah, blah, is that people, they are
not going to listen because your history is only
rationale, is not emotional. Some people wants to connect emotionally with the
rest of the people. So one thing that you
have to do is you have to include some breakout points. You have to include though. What's happened in your life? What was the main obstacle? What was the pain? The pain that you feel every single day that you
were not happy. When you start to include these key points,
these breakout points, us start to speak about these hard decisions that
you took one day and say, You know, that
happened in my life. It was the worst day in my life. And then I got to
take this decision, continue creating
a company to bring the food to my
family or I have to find a job to be
employed until I retire. So when you start to make these hard decisions
and then you start to create this achievement
in your history. So people start to connect
in so many different points. So it's not okay. I'm going to listen that
I have to be more happier and I have to do this and I
have to do this other thing. No, it's something that okay. I connect with this
person. Oh, my God. That problem that
that person has, I have in my body. So he did this action and
it was very successful. So I'm going to do
the activity that I want to share with you
for this lesson is right, your history in
less than 300 words include the Highlights, the learnings, and everything that can be important
for your audience. And remember, what

5. Lesson 04: Develop Persuasive Storytelling Techniques to Captivate Audiences: One amazing thing that we have
to develop in our history is when we create these

information that you need to be a happy person. One thing that is
going to happen, people love to buy things, but they hate that someone

they have learned during the last few
years because one time I was doing a conference
and I start to say, okay, imagine this situation
when you were five years old and you had the experience with
your grandmother, and then one person in the
room and start to cry. I say, what happened. I want I was
thinking in my mind, if I leave a moment with five-years all
with my grandfather, with grandma, mother, it
will be a happy moment. But for that person,
that person lose. Grandfather, loose hair, grandmother when
she was very young. So she didn't have the
good experience or they're happy experience living
with this person. So that time, I
understand that, okay, if I want to create some
emotions in your mind, I have to find the
specific history, their specific Highlights
in my history. You are going to connect, if I speak about the problems of Boolean that
I had at the high-school. If I start to speak
about my vulnerability, who I filled in that
specific moment, you will find in your brain different moments that
you will say, Okay, I didn't have this
specific problem, but I have this
specific pain and is related with the
thing that Augustine is telling in my history. When you start to develop these strategies in your
message, these keywords, these a part of the history that is going to advocate
one kind of emotion, but it's the emotion
that your noise. I don't know what will be the emotion is going to help
to improve your history. If you say, Okay, Okay, I'm not going to do this. I'm going to improve my pH, but I'm going to give so
many details when you start to give so many
details in your history, one thing that is going
to happen is that people, they are going to disconnect. They are not going to listen
all the message and they are going to forget
almost what you say. One thing that we have to take care in these storytelling, in this history that you
are creating right now, that do are finding your voice
is that you are speaking, speaking with passion
about one thing, one thing that you Take
care about Is that okay, I'm not going to give you all the all the details
of the history. I not going to give you all the highlights that
you have to know and I'm going to share the
most important things to connect with your emotion. When you know that your emotions are connected with other people, that the people

you can share, hold you achieve what

behind your decision, your obstacles that help

do the presentation. Imagine the situation

have the experience. They were people that
they want to know about all the details. And I had the experience

amazing training for them. And one thing that happened, it was like the worst training, the worst calls that I
did in my life because it was I didn't like
the topic either, like the kind of

very difficult for me. And after I finished that, I say, okay, In 2008, I started to develop, to find my own
voice, to find what, what is the main message that
I want to share with you, to incorporate all
the key elements that they are going
to help me in this be authentic in this part
off, don't judge yourself. Don't make these judgments. If not, tried to be more self-confidence about
everything that I was doing. So in that moment, one thing that I decided, okay, what is the main topic
that I want to do? In main topic that
I want to speak. What is the lessons that I
want to share with the people? It depends the avians. And when you start to say, Okay, I will not be the best speaker. Why will not have the most amazing story?
Not yet, Not yet. But I will create a will
develop, it will improve. So one thing that I started
to do every time that I have these negative
affirmation about myself. I tried to change. I try, you know, sometimes it's better to have
water to do a little bit of they speaking about them. Okay. I'm going to
speak about this. Imagine the situation, okay? If we are going to the supermarket and
we see this button, will say, okay, it's
about that of water. With this 500 ml, maybe you will pay $102
at the supermarket. But if the same water, you are going to the cinema with your friends and
then it's a Friday night. And then you say, Okay, I want a glass of water. One bottle of water. Maybe these bottle of water

with your message. You have the perfect pitch, you have the perfect excuse, you have the perfect history. The only thing is, are you promoting this history
in the perfect place? Are you going to
connect with the person that they are aligned
to your message? That you enjoy sharing that message with that
group of audience? Or are you trying to share your message with some people that they are not
taught your target, that they don't care
about your message. And at the end, your history is going to be, forget that part. One thing for this lesson, one activity is very easy to do. Greater list of three personal
strengths that you have. Personal strength that you have the bulb doing

7. Lesson 06: Learn the Strategies for Securing Paid Conference Speaking Engagements: Okay, One of the most
important things when we create the history, when we develop our message, when we want to share this, we want to share or confidence with other people is to take care about the specific place
that we are going to speak. One very interesting
thing is to find opportunities where you have the opportunity to
develop the new SKUs, to test your message, to improve and to find what is this a specific message

opportunity to, to prepare all the
materials that you need in order to develop
this perfect pitch. So one thing that
I'm going to help you in this lesson is, okay, now that you have the message, now that you have
all the key elements that you are going to
introduce in your history. How we can add money
from this activity and air money is not going to be something that's OK. Now, I was didn't say that
I'm going to earn money. I'm going to add $500,000
per confidence. No, no, no. What I'm saying is that you
have the opportunity to receive these extra resources to share your
message with a wall, and then to find the
specific locations where you want to share the message when you can impact

the last few years, it was to find out organizations where I
can share my message. So I was looking, okay, who is the perfect
audience for my pitch? And then my perfect audience for so many years it was
only intrapreneurs. Intrapreneurs. And

sole entrepreneur? Where are the entrepreneurs? Startups and startup
weekends, incubators, organization, intrapreneurs,
conference summits. So you have so many things, so many places where you can share your world, your message. And sometimes they
will say, okay, we don't have budget to hire, hire your expertise and to share your message
with the audience. Sometimes they will say, Okay, we are going to lock operation. We don't have all
the budget to pay for your confidence by
we can pay the travel, we can put accommodation
and we can give you this other
thing in exchange. So in that part one thing that it was like
burn interesting for me. I started doing conference
in high school, then I move to the university, then I move to incubators. And after I moved,
I start to move to Congress and
international events. So when you know
this roadmap, where, what is the place
that you can find out the perfect place to
share your message. One thing that I Take
care so carefully is, okay, I'm going to
share the message with you and make conference
will be next week. Okay. What I can do today, I can do tomorrow
after tomorrow. That helped to improve
my excuse to give you the perfect history with
a perfect attitude, with the perfect energy. So in that part, I find out different places where I can share my
message previously, can be alive, can
be in high school, can be with a non-profit
organization. And in this place I
have the opportunity to share them in such to
interact with the people, to receive feedback
from my conference that I can improve for
my next conference. And this is something
that I invite you because sometimes people
say not in going now to do all my confidence
and then going to charge for them is perfect. But sometimes we have
to do in a corporation, sometimes we have to do with the main of helping other people. So this is something that is very interesting
to do in that moment. Now we have the history, now we have this

different places where I can have the opportunity
to share my message. So the activity that you have for this lesson

8. Lesson 07: Enhance Your Networking Skills and Create Lasting Connections: One of the most important things that we have to take care is, which is your network. What is the networking that you are doing every single day, every week that is going
to foster your excuse, that is going to open opportunities to share your
message with the world. So one interesting thing, during the last few years, one thing that has helped me a lot to find the perfect
audience, the perfect place. The perfect event is
to know that people, to have this network
of people that they know that you are
an expert in this area, that you are expert
in this history, that you have a very
interesting history to listen in this, with this amazing message. When you know that there are people that they
can recommend you, that there are people
that they are going to find out you because you are
in this kind of network. This is something that can change everything
because at the end, the business of doing conference is not a business
that you say, okay, I do an add on, go on Facebook and
then people say, Oh my God, Agustin Rosa
is going to come to my city to do a confidence
is not working like that. To start to watch the person on your toe of the
people recommend you say, Oh my God, I have this
person that I listened, this tectonic, the TI, was, this person has, this problem, are
now moving forward, now is finding the solution. So find out one thing. What are they? And check your agenda. From the last year.
How many events of networking have
you participate? First question, the second
one, if you say okay, I had no time to participate
in it in any event. Okay. What are the main key events in your city that
you can participate, that people can connect with you so they can recommend

trainings courses, organization that
you are in both, that they are the target
that you want to achieve. You want achieve
people that they are preparing for an Ironman. You are looking for people
that they want to overcome. One kind of emotional
issues lost. So we have to create these, the activity for this model of creating networking
is very easy, fine. Five events that you have to
participate the next year, from delay to the next year to be connected with your real audience,
with the audience. And you want to share your message with the
audience that you want to impact

9. Lesson 08: Develop a Personalized Action Plan for Your Public Speaking Career: Okay, now we have

very important is what are the weekly actions that I'm going to take care
every single week, every single day in order
to be closer of my god. When you start to change your
mind and use jones Yeah. Ok. To find 20 new
conference places where I have to if you try
to do like more like a game, Okay, I'm going to have
the opportunity to share my message in 17
cities around Europe. And then I want to share this
message for this audience. Fears. Look at your Linkedin account. How many people
do these in that, in those countries that can help you to leave this space
to share your message. If you say, Okay, I don't
have any contact on Linkedin. What is the main
strategy that you can achieve in order to meet
the core of people, can hire your services
as a speaker, to speak in their event can be, a line, can be physical, can be. When you have clear
which people can help you to find these
specific audience that they can recommend you, that you can take this daily
actions every single day. For simple for me,
one thing that it was very important, it was okay. Now they have growth and my book and now I
am on the stores. What I can do, I can go to the libraries, I can go to the stores
to present my book. So companies, so organizations will open the
opportunity to say, okay, if the author of
this book is in my city, maybe I want a
conference speaker. So in that part, one strategy
that helped me to find the perfect place to share
my message and my history. It was to be on media, beyond media, being
on TV, on radio, on press release,
and then it will on the newspapers because
it was something interesting at the end
because okay, I will stay in. The author of this book is doing a conference in
that city that day. And I had the opportunity
to start to find more people that they were
located in that city. So it was like very easy to find the confidence to speak with the perfect audience and to share my message
with more people. So for you, objective actions and check every single
week your KPIs, key performance
indicators, that they are going to help you to
find your message, your history, with
the perfect audience. Now, we are going to go to the next activity that we are

10. Course Conclusion and Final Steps: Thank you very much
to everyone for being in this Public
Speaking Powerhouse. One thing that is
very important Is, Okay, We, now we have
developed this case. We have developed so many teams that can improve our story. And one thing that I
want to share with you is that public speaker or being on sharing your
message with the world is not only the part of Okay, I have this Confidence and then going to do the Conference
in different places, a lifestyle we Take care
about or message we improve, or Skills we
develop, or history. One thing that people is
going to receive from you every time that we have
the opportunity to share or message with a wall, we are given one word, sharing war when experience. And so many times we see, okay, I have the opportunity
to speaking 100 conference for
the last year. But don't see as you have
the opportunity to speak in front of 100 different events, try to do more like okay, I had the opportunity
to share my message with these amazing
people in 100 events. Because everything that you are doing with your communication, everything that you are doing with your public
speaking is going to be to keep one part in
the brain of the people. And I had the amazing experience after ten years
doing conference. One person griped to my MAC. Thank you very much
for the tips that you gave me ten years ago. And I was what what kind of message or what was
the main thing, the highlights that
you take care with these and then that
changed your life. And people they estar, never know where the
perfect moment that you are going to create this
change in the person. But when we do this activity
as Lafite lifestyle, we want to believe in all cells. We had so many
problems previously, but now we're overcoming, we're managing our stress, we're managing that hard, this situation
decision that we had. So we find all
voice and then when you find the Voice and you'll
find the perfect audience, then you share your
message with a wall. Do enjoy every day, do have more energy. You are passionate about everything that you
are talking about, then you start to
develop the skills to become a better and
greater speaker. If we you see, whoa, was the communication of Barack Obama ten years
ago, 20 years ago. You will see that these
two different personal, so this is what
happened with us. The thing that we
have today is not the person that you
are going to be tomorrow because you
will develop new SKUs. You are going to be worried
about your message to improve your history and
to share with the people. In that moment, you will
reduce the nervous. You will reduce the
stress because you are not focusing on your body. You are focusing on
the message that you are delivering to the audience. And then this is something
that we have to understand. Everything we can make mistakes, but we can learn
from these mistakes. If we learn from their mistakes, we have the most
amazing opportunity to develop these journey, to develop the new SKUs, to focus on other people life, and impact the world with our
history, with our message. Because at the end, the
most important thing is that you have a history. You have a message that you want to share with the audience, with a wall and you are going to impact at least one people life, but maybe 1 million and
maybe 1 billion people. So this is something that
we have to take care. What are you doing with
your communication, what are dealing
with your pitch. And thank you very much for
