1. Introduction: Hi everyone. As you know, I am bushel got my and I'm based in the city, right? So today we are good to have a look at poetry and blogging. And as you know that this lesson is for everyone, right? So I hope you enjoyed today's lesson. 2. Defining Poetry: So first thing is first we are talking poetry, right? What is poetry in? One has an idea of what poetry is. If you do, I'm sure you don't quite have the full idea of what actually poetry is, right? But if you don't, you're in luck because I'm gonna be explaining thoroughly what point she actually is. Okay? So poetry is a type of literature, right? Where words and words are arranged rate for its meaning, sound and rhythm. Write a poem, makes a picture what it's worth. Um, it expresses an idea or emotion, right? So poetry is not just words on a paper or someone's feelings or emotions read on paper. Okay. It's way more deeper than that. Yeah. So we have types of poems. We have the rhyme. Rhyme is a type of poetry that uses the same sound at the end of lines. Okay? And we have two types of lines where we have couplets and quatrains, right? So couplets is two lines, alright? And then quatrains is four lines. And we have another type of poem that is called a Haikou. Haikou is a three line poem with a total of 17 syllables. Alright? So the first and last lines have five. Again. The first and last lines have five, have five syllables, alright? And the middle line has seven. Alright? So that is a Haikou. And then there's a lime Rick. A lime brick is a funny poem of five lines, okay? The first, the first, second, fifth line of the poem, have to rhyme. And then with the eighth, ninth or ten lines of the poem should be syllables. Alright? So lines 34 rhyme to MEN with 56 or seven are still syllables. Alright? So that is a lime Rick in, in, we have a sequence. A sequence is a poem that has, the first line of the poem, has to be, and now, alright? Line two has to be two objectives about line one. Alright? Line three is still three ING verbs about one, alright? And then we have line for, which is a four word threes. Line five of the poem is a synonym for one. So that is a secret. Alright? And we have poetry tools that you guys can actually use and have to understand or that are gonna help you guys understand in depth what actually poetry is, okay? And how we go about with this whole poetry thing. So we have what is called rhythm. I'm sure everybody likes rhythm, right? You know, the sound of the poem. That's what we're talking about when we talk about rhythm. We have line breaks. Alright? This is where each line breaks and another line begins. Alright? So where each line breaks, another line has to begin, okay? That will have to be line breaks. We have repetition where words or lines, or simply repeated in the poem. Okay? It can be from the first stanza of the poem. You're going to have repetition of words or repetition of sentences. Or from a sentence you're going to find repetition of words, alright? Yes, and we have a stanza. What is a stanza? Stanza as a coupe of lines, simply just select the paragraph, okay? Yes, That's what a stanza is. And of course, I'm sure you guys know what a line is. A line is a group of words are arranged in a word in a row. That's what a sentence, right? So yes, we have alterations. It's alterations are same word sounds or a letter at the beginning of words, like words that sound the same from beginning to end. Alright? Yeah, we have similes, similes or comparison. Alright? So comparing using the likes of like or S, Okay? Yes. And then we have imagery. Imagery or words that simply make a sound. What's that you say? And when you say that in your head, you can hear a sound to them. Yes, those are imagery. And then we have a rhythm scheme. Alright? Rhythm scheme is a per tonne of the rhymes. But don't you worry. All of these tools that I've just given you guys are tools that I'll explain further as I break down a poem. Like, as I break down the examples of poetry that I have for you guys, okay? So I will just give you an example of a rhyme poem, okay? So I'm gonna give you one type of example, not from each types of poems, but I think I'll just give you one example of the type of poems. And in this case, I'm gonna be giving you guys a rhyme. So from this poem, you're going to hear that there are a lot of rhyming words, okay? So this poem I'm gonna be reciting for you guys is tight tilde. The poem of a's written by yours truly, right? Yes. So it goes like this. It all feels like the chase. And I'm not up for a race with everyone's putting in my face. I'm only wishing to be on another space. Of course, using my own pace. I mean, all I wanted was to get a taste. It tastes of being in a case where I disappeared without a trace, a trace of a pain that has left me so frail. Kinda like, kinda like the story of Abel and Cain. Would you say a more full to actually lose my cool? Well, maybe yes, because my heart is as cold as eyes and my eyes just keep rolling dice. But I swear my mind is doing fine though. Still, I'm getting to a point where I'm just willing to pay any price. None can understand, not even my peers. My heart broken by all those I once called Dear their promises. Only just mere love. I come nowhere near ten. Why is everyone still spitting in my face? I've seen so many mistakes and I've always been replaced as I've always been replaced. And believe me, I wanted to abolish my actions of misery. I want to avoid this feeling that ablaze and just watch it a braid. So that is an example of the rhyme poem. Okay, I'm sure you guys can notice the word Chase, race, face, pace, alright, taste, case, trace. All of those are rhyming words. They may not be written the same way, but the sound that they make when they get to your head or your ears or rhyming sounds. Okay. So some not so clear of whether they are rhyming words or what, but they are rhyming words. When you look at them, you may not really think they are rhyming words, okay? But they are like mirror near dear. All right. All of those are what? I rhyming words. Yes. So that will be an example of the Ryan poetry. And so now we are going to look at how does one actually read a poem. I'm Joe. I'm sure you guys realize that poetry can actually be very difficult. It can be absolutely difficult. And I'm talking about, I'm talking about the likes of Shakespeare. Oh my God, that's so difficult to read, I'm sure. Alright, but I'm actually going to give you guys techniques and everything you should know on how to actually tackle the spreadsheet thing, okay? How one actually reads poet, she understands Pucci, okay? So one thing about poetry is you just can't read it through Outlook on novel, right? It's not reading a story. Yes, it is a story in a way, but you don't just read it through out, okay? Poetry wants you to read it through and carefully. Okay. Both allowed an in your head, you need to let it settle, need to let it sink in your head. Alright? So after you actually let this poetry sink in your head, there's one thing you should ask yourself. Now you gotta think, how does it make you feel? How does this poetry make you feel? When in an, in a case you just ask yourself, how does this poem a certain point make you feel, perhaps even the one I just read for you guys, How does that make you feel? What would its argument b, what's the argument of this point? What's the story behind this point? Okay, you need to ask yourself those kinds of questions. But the biggest question you need to ask yourself is, how does the poem do what it does, right? How does this plane gives you so much meaning? How does this point made you laugh? How does it make you happy? Any anything? It needs to explain the emotions that it gives to you, okay? And the only way you're going to be able to understand how this poetry does, what it does to you. Is to the words in the poetry. Alright? So the words and the poetry, you have to look for meaning, Alright, look for the meaning of the words in the poetry, the sounds, alright, the connotations of the poem. Alright, that's everything that you need to look into. That way you're going to get hints or ideas of what this poem is actually talking even before you actually say, okay, let me actually read through this poem and understand it. Words used in the plane can simply give you an idea of what the poem is actually about. Alright? So you also have to look at what the tone of the poem, right? Does the poem have a certain tone to it, or even emotion? Does this change throughout the whole poem? Alright, Those are things you need to ask yourself. Those are the kind of questions that you need to ask yourself. And as soon as you're done with the poem, you should be able to answer them. All right, you need to look at the techniques used in the pull-up. So we have, I've already given you guys a few examples of the techniques Portuguese poems use. Okay, So there are similes, metaphors, alterations and imagery. Alright, there's repetition in the poems. You need to look at all of those techniques that are used in the poem. Alright? All of that is going to help you with, with how this poem actually make you feel and how it actually does that. Alright, you need to look at the perspective. Who's speaking in this poem, right? Who is speaking in this point? Is the speaker and the poet the same? You need to ask yourself those questions because now this is going to work. This is Gunnar. This is going to help you what? This is going to help you come out of confusion in most cases, because in most cases, you'll find yourself reading a poem. Then the reader can tell omega what is happening. Who is talking here? Is this the poet? Is this the speaker or who is talking to this point? If it's the speaker, who is the speaker? How is the speaker related to this poem? Alright, Those are kind of things you guys need to look into and actually focus on. Alright? And most importantly, you need to look at the context, the context of the point. What is it that you're learning from this poem? Alright? So all of those things are going to help you answer the question, that biggest question that you need to have in your head, which is, how does the poem do? What it does? Alright? Yes. So I'm gonna help you guys with this part of how to break down a poem, Alright, And here I'm gonna give you guys another poem that this time around. I'm actually going to break it into full detail, looking at everything that I just, I just told you about, right. So we're going to break this down into what you guys will actually understand, okay? But even though the poem itself as pretty much an easy point for anyone to understand or even relate to it. But you have to understand one thing. Points are very smart without words. They are very smart with the tricks they use in the point. Sometimes you may think you understand what the poem is saying, but then sometimes you think you do understand, but you don't actually understand. Alright? And then the poem just means another whole different thing from what you actually thought. It means. Alright? So I'm gonna give you a poem titled her still written by a moire. Alright. So it goes like this. I saw her, right? She looked deep into my eyes but I was too tired. I heard her screaming. I couldn't do a thing. She was losing herself. I was hurt but I was not as weak as she was or at least not yet. She tried to move her eyes, but she had no strength left. I wanted to do something and I knew it was too late. I knew I was too late when the razor fell to the ground and she followed the sound it made when floating in a pool of blood. What was I to do? I couldn't see her anymore. That was when I knew I knew she was gone and I couldn't save her. How good advice save there. I was just merely a reflection. And unfortunately she killed me with her. So that is the perm. Alright, so first thing you need to ask yourself, like I already explained is Harlan's this poem in particular, make you feel, okay, what's the story behind this poem? So for me, I'd say the point makes me feel very sad. I feel very sorry for the poet or the speaker. Alright, And how does this poem, how does this poem do what it does? How did this poem get to meet me, feel sad, or even full story for the point. How did it do it? If simply did that through the words and appoint the words in the poem, emphasize a set environment. Alright? And the tone also says The point was nearly, was really, really not. Okay. Okay, the, the emotions of the poem makes 11 to cry out saying, alright, and the perspective I got from this poem is that the poet is not the one speaking. The speaker in this case of the poem is what the poets reflection. So you get to see that there's a difference between one, there's a difference between the speaker of the poem and the actual poet. Alright? So the techniques that are used in this poem, that's for you guys to actually figure it out. Figure out, Okay, I'd love it if you guys identified the techniques, some of the techniques that are used in this poem from the list that I've already given you guys, alright? And so that will be all on your poetry topic for today. 3. Defining Blogging: I'm sure most of you guys have an idea of what, what blogging is, right? But if you do not have an idea of what this blogging I'm talking about is, well, trust me, you know what it is. For this one, I'm gonna be going into depth about blogging. I'm gonna be telling you guys what blogging is. Why you need blogging. Why I'm interested in talking to you guys about blogging. Blogging is a form of writing, right? This one is for writers, that one too, right? But do not have enough content for bugs or are probably just too busy to even think about writing a book, but they still have it in them. They still have the interests of writing, alright? Sharing a piece of their daily habits, daily experiences, all of those things. Alright. So before we go anywhere beyond me, actually explain, write a blog. A blog is a website. It's a website that is updated regularly with what? With articles. And these articles are known to be what? Blogs. Alright? So they might be blogs about a specific topic, Even topics because people just have quite a lot of number of things they talk about on blogs. Alright? So the term blog. Blog originated in 1994. In the short-term is a shortened form of the word web log. So do you guys see where there's Blog comes from or blogging comes from? It comes from a word. That is, it comes from a word that is called web, blog. Alright? Back in the early days of the Internet, blogs were actually more personal. They were used as a form of diode, right? For us nowadays, we prefer to have what? This actual genitals that may write one where fillings, which are done, our day-to-day plans, our goals, visions. So back in the days, blogs were actually used to do all of those things. Alright. So nowadays blogs are mainly informational website, alright, about certain topics. Although the personal ones, the old personal blogs about hobbies and blogs and all of that. They still do exist. But most topics for blogs include like cooking, travel, fashion, personal finance, business, parenting crafts and DALYs, all of those things, right? So blogging, blogging, I mean, web blogs are now used for what? They are now used for sharing information instead, alright, the current ones that we are using right now, alright? So some people confuse a blog and a website. Alright? So I'll tell you a website and a blog at two different things. Actually. Well, I can tell you that the Thames blog and website are often used interchangeably. Technically, a blog is like a type of website you get. But the key differences that blogs are usually updated regularly with new block word, blog post, okay, so with websites, websites are typically stacked statistic, alright, and they only contain a handful pages that I rarely updated. Again, I can post on our website. I can post on our site, um, for like a year and not even updated for like 23 years. And it's still a website, it's still going to remain. But with blogs, you need to regularly, regularly, regularly update the information that you would, you leave on a blog. Alright, So for example, like a blog may contain hundreds of like blog posts and can be updated weekly, right? Like I already told you guys a website, I can take a year to even update. But with blog, I need to update it like weekly, daily. It depends on the Blogger. It depends on the person blogging, the time they have to actually update this blogs, but they don't take a long period of time to update the inflammation they trapped on the blocks. Alright. So what is a blog post? A blog post. What is it? A blog post is just what we call an article. It's simply, it's simply just information on a blog site. Blog post, an article. Still the same thing can be used interchangeably. Alright. So that's that we have what is called web hosting. Web hosting goes hand-in-hand with what? With blogging. So what is web hosting? What is it? Web hosting is a service that allows you to blog and your blogs to be seen where on the internet, right? It helps you, the blogger to what? To give you a redoes, the type of information or articles or blog posts that you give them. Alright, so that's what connects you, that blogger and you'll lead us, alright, it's what connects the reader and the blogger. Alright? So, yes, Most bloggers use a web hosting company to what? To allocate the space on their service, alright? And this is where your blog lives online. This is where you actually get to have your blogs go live, alright, so you'll definitely need web hosting to start a blog. It's a very important step, alright, to consider when you actually want to tap into blogging. Alright? So blogging comes with a lot of tenths. And this is why I want you guys, I want to explain every ten that goes with blogging, alright? Because you can blog without certain things that you know, that you have to know. Alright? So we have a domain name, alright? A domain name is sometimes referred to as just the domain. It's simply just that. Alright, so this is the address that you have to, this is the address of your block that's going to be on the internet. This is what, this is the name that we are going to when you send out a link, It's a name that we read us from the blog are going to click there so that we can have what? We can have access to your blocks. So it's gonna be a domain name, it's gonna be WW dot something. I don't know what your domain name will be. Dot something, something. Alright, so that's probably just a link where we read us would find access to your writing, right? Yes. And we have a Word Press. Alright? So a WordPress is a free content management platform that bloggers use. Alright, so how, how is this WordPress important? Wordpress in one press enables you to log into your what your Word Press dashboard. You guys know what a dashboard is. You'll find out. So this is where basically this is your what your blog headquarters, the main office where your blogs need to be at before they can even get to us, the reader. Alright, so this is where you write new polls. This is where you're going to add images to blog posts, change the design of your blogs, and many, many, many other things. You know, the list goes on, it's endless. So you're probably wondering, what, what can I do about this blog thing? You're probably wondering what you can blog about. You're asking yourself, what's there to blog about, really? What sort of blog about. All of that is simple. Most blogs you just definitely have to have one, a niche. A niche is a topic for your blogging. Alright, so I'm gonna be giving you guys a few examples that you will use when blogging. I'm gonna be giving you guys ideas of the things that you can work we can use to blog, alright, so why do you can start a blog on just about any topic the most, the most successful blogs are the ones that have a specific audience, right? So before you start blogging, you need to, you need to have an audience that is too much attracted to your blog. Okay, that's the first step, alright? And provide what provides helpful detailed information for the topic. You're going to, what you're going to be handing out to your audience. That way when you have a strong, strong, strong topic to talk about with your audience, trust me, you have a very strong base, okay? And that way you're very guaranteed that you're blogging is not going to go, is not going to lose what is not going to lose an audience as time goes on? Why? Because you started with a very strong base, okay? So it's very, very important. Alright? So most times you asked yourself, most times you tell yourself that certain things have certain people who can do it, who can do them. We'd like to give titles to certain things, right? But with blogging, blogging is done by literally anyone. You can be doing, anything, you can be anyone. You are just simply allowed to blog. It's that easy, okay. You don't need to be what? You don't need to be. Extremely texts if you don't have to be an expect on a certain topic that you have. Alright? You just need to be like an amazing writer. Come on her legs. We're not writing a novel here. It's just simply you venting, sometimes sharing the little hobbies you have. So all of that should be fun, right? So what else can you need to actually do this blogging thing? Come on. You just need bashing on, alright, passion, that's all you need. You need passion. You just simply have to be passionate about the topic you are going to be blogging, right? Have the desire to share the information that's gonna help others motivate them, make them love anything. Alright, so I have like a few examples of blogs that you guys should really look into. Well, this blogs are the blocks that go viral. They really go viral. So you guys should actually look into them and learn a few things from them if you're really interested in starting this blogging thing. So a few examples of blogs. While the top one, the top four most blogged, most, the top four most used blogs on the internet. I'm going to be giving you guys a few examples, right? So it's Makes sense of sense. This is simply a topic, alright? So this topic is based on a personal finance, alright? It's a finance blog. Alright, so here it's a person who just decided to what? To start a blog about, advising people about finance and all of those things and how to get the coins and all of that. Yada, yada, yada, alright. And then there's another one that is called Love has no formula. So this one, obviously you can hear that, oh my God, this one is about relationships. It's a relationship blog. And having a child was a mistake. When you see those are the kinds of things you should use. We're gonna be talking about what about using topics that are going to attract your reader as a blogger, alright, so this one catches your eye. You're wondering what having a tough time as a mistake, right? So this is already giving it. 4. How To Start Blogging: Alright, so that is what a poem Tim blog, right? So the heading kind of gives it away, but it works. It triggers it what? It invites the reader to action what to actually continue with your blog, okay, So we have what, a pinch of yam. What is that? A pinch of yam? Definitely, if I was a leader, definitely want to find out what a pinch of yam is going to talk about. A Pinto VM is just a food blog. Alright, so that's me just giving you guys typical ideas about the kind of topics that you can actually work, you can blog about, right? So I'm sure you guys are wondering, how do I even start this blog thing. Don't worry about it. Okay, so now that you know what a blog is and understand that the basics of blogging don't actually worry about starting, alright, if you understand the basics I just gave you, I explained literally everything I know about blogging. It's as easy as ABC, right? So before you can begin writing your blog and boom, all the fun stuff like building an audience. You've got to actually build your blog first, right? So first thing is you have to decide what you want to blog about, right? So you're just going to work, you just going to pick a niche, pick a topic. Basically you want to focus on a topic, your word, your patient, you're passionate about. I already said that you need to pick a topic you're really passionate about. You don't necessarily really have to work. Don't necessarily have to be hands on with it. You just have to enjoy the topic, okay? You have to know enough, alright? You have to know enough to provide value to your, to your audience. So you can just blog about a topic that you know wanting to about. You need to know 12345678910 about it. Alright? You need to know literally everything about the topic, yoga, blog on. And second, you have to choose a word, a blogging platform. Alright? So a blogging platform is you. The only thing you're literally going to need for a blogging platform is all you need to do is create your blog on one, on WordPress. I already gave you guys what WordPress is, right? So okay, don't make this mistake. Do not, do not create your blog on wet press.com. It's wet press. Okay. It's simply just WordPress. Wordpress.com. Alright. Maybe I'm losing it. They're a bit, but let me, let me break it down for you. Okay. So let me just give you WordPress, WordPress and WordPress.com or wordpress.com is like Wordpress.com is a blog. It can be free or it increases like it can get quite expensive. So as you grow your blog, you know, when you host on it, because it's also running through what? It runs through wet place, right? It's not self-hosted. Right? So yes, you can use it, but it has the bigger men behind it. So well, it gets really, there's nothing wrong with it, but it gets really expensive to actually blogged through it. And it limits, it limits your ability to scale your blog actually. So I don't really advise you to use that. I want you to simply use WordPress. Wordpress is a self-hosted site, right? Meaning we just need to purchase a host that includes a blog, right? You just need to purchase a host that includes a blog where on WordPress, the same location, right? So it's like having wet WordPress is like having your own make. It gives you what? It gives you that what the right to work to host, what the freedom to host your own blocks however way you want, alright, it gives you the freedom you need to monetize your blog. You grow your blog and build it in any direction, literally here you're free to do whatever you want with your blog, right? It gives you access to whatever you want to do with your blog. Simply put a WordPress.com blog. And that is like renting an apartment. Okay. So I'm just trying to show you guys the difference between wordpress.com and wordpress. Wordpress as it is, we can call it Wordpress dot O, R, G, I think, right? What press organizations, somebody like that. But don't make a mistake and use WordPress.com. Alright, so with WordPress, WordPress 00 r g is like what? You own. You own your own house, right? Yes. It can cost a bit more like upfront, but it allows you to build. Home of your dreams, right? It's what, it's giving you the full freedom to do what ever you want. Alright, so just, just make sure when you start your blog, you do the right amount of research on every tool. You don't end up making mistakes that you can immigrate halfway. Now you realize that ish, um, I'm actually using a lot more to create than a lot more you're doing to gain out of. Okay, so what Wordpress.com is that kind of places, it's simply just, you have some freedom to maybe paint like a wall in your house or to cause what, what Km is simply what? It's simply an apartment. It's different from owning your own house, is simply like owning an apartment. It's so expensive. It's expensive. And in the long run, you're just, you're just borrowing it until you actually grow out of it. Alright, so I really advise you guys to actually use WordPress.com, right? And just make sure you're starting your blog the right way, right before you start writing your blog posts and everything. I want to, let me just touch base on setting up your blog first. Alright, so after all, if you don't have a strong base, you definitely know that your journey forward is what it's gonna be quite difficult because you can't start a house with a foundation that's not strong enough as you go up with it, it's going to come crashing down, right? So simply, it's simply like that with everything before you tap into anything, make sure that you have the right information on it. You've learned everything that you need to learn, all of that. So what you should be smart about, what about choosing the right topics of your, what your blog posts, right? So this is literally the foundation of this house. Blogging. Blogging is your house. Now the foundation to blogging is what is the topics you're going to be using on your blog posts, alright? So you have to be, you have to be very, very careful about, about all of that. Alright? So you're blocking luckier, you're blogging success is going to start with what? Is going to start with the right things you do. We want people to click on your links, right? We want them to spend more time on your block subscribe, email list and all of that. Alright? So if all of that happens, well then you've got to give them what you have to work. You have to, what you have to make sure that your, what your blog readers are going to, what are going to be very interested in your blog post rate. You have to give them what they want, right? And that's not to say that you cannot write about the things that you want. You can write the things about what you want. It definitely can, but you also need to make sure that you're taking care of your audience needs Pretty much more than your own. Alright? You can just focus on yourself because you say, okay, this is my blog, this is my experience. Might want to add my information, alright, Yes Is your information, but you're sharing it with one with your reader. So you need to have you read, are connected. And yes, I already explained, blogging is not writing a novel where you, with your everything, you have to meet what your redial priority. Blogging is light. It's, it's, it's relaxed, it's it's a lot more chilled. You need to come down when you block. Don't don't be too tight and upfront, right? So it's it's very easy. All you need is you have to work. All you need is figuring out what your audience wants, right? And you have to do that crucially. You really have to be very crucial when it comes to that. I know it's, it's kinda like easier said than done. I know. So how do you actually figure out what your audience wants? How do you do that? Well, there are ways you, I'm gonna give you guys some secret Intel and how to figure out what your audience wants. Now that you have competitors, right? In everything you do, you have people look at you, looking what you're doing. Sometimes they're not even necessary competitors, but whatever, people were just looking at the things that you're doing and they're trying to learn from them and all of that, all of that. But in this case, you need to spy on your wipe on your competitors blocks. That's the way you're going to know what your audience wants, right? You have someone who's already doing this thing that you're very interested in doing. And so you have to figure out what are they doing, all right. You need to have a look at what competitors who are actually more established and more famous than you are, right? And don't think of them as like tones in your way. Don't, don't think of them as like forms in the way of your blogging success. Instead, just think of them as guides are mentors, alright? They may not know who you are, trust me, but with every step of the way they are teaching you the blogging game, alright? And all you have to do is simply pay attention to everything they do, right? Because that way you're connecting to audience, you're going to reach out to their audience and they have a bigger audience, remember? So you need to learn quite some things from them. Alright, so how to use your competitor to come up with topics about your audience. You spy on them and see which of the posts are getting more likes. You need to want to look at what look in every, every post they have. Every post that is driving the readers crazy and you need to tap on the amino. You need to find yourself trapped your motivation from those, from those blog posts. Okay? And yeah, you can, you can watch. There are tools. There are tools that are actually meant to help you. Help you what menus and share your post. Or even try to figure out or understand or research more about posts are the famous post that bloggers have on their blogging. Blogging, what details? Alright, so most people use Uber suggest and Klara. You know, they use all of those to find relevant topics. Okay. So for me, I'm not, I'm not really a blogger. I'm actually learning. I am very interested into actually tapping into it. So from the few things that I've been looking up, I think for me, I enjoy using Quora more than Uber suggest. Well, not that I've really looked into Uber suggest, but I think I prefer Cora because Cora like answers literally every question you have and it's like it gives you a step, a step-by-step guide literally even tells you how to click on a certain link. Why you need to click on that link? It's like literally it does everything for you. You just follow the instructions that gives you, right? Yeah. So all of the spaying that you need to do on your competitors, um, yes, you do it, you spy on them, but you also have to work to research on your own topics, right? From the topics that you've got from them. You also need to work. You also need to do your own research on the topics that you are going to tap into, right? So the next step, after you've decided on a topic to write about what research on it, you've stolen a few ideas from your competitors. Now you have a topic. What am I going to do this topic? Research about it, alright, maybe you already know a lot more about the topic and you are very competent about it. But trust me, I still want you to research on that topic. Again. Always see, always, always be eager to figure out what other people are doing, right. Always be eager to figure out what other people are doing that you are doing, so that you can learn from them, alright? Fine. Like you can find a lot of pointers there and that way you could add to your own post, and that's how you grow, right? That's how you grow your audience, even because your audience like to see that, oh my God, so this blogger is actually growing from the person that they were. And you get what? You get to increase the number of your audience and all of that. 5. 3 Main Sections Of A Blog: So moving on to something else. I want you guys to know that all blog posts have like three main sections, right? So this is me giving intel on how you're going to write that blog post. The blog posts you have. Scott, I have what? Three main sections? So you have your introduction, your body, and your conclusion. You, you, you, you, you guys write your, your what, your letters, whatever your, what your essays write. Your essay needs to have an introduction. It has to have a body and it has to have a conclusion, right? But remember that blogging is a lot more tilde. Don't want to what? Writing a book on a blog post, please don't do that. You're going to draw the **** out of your readers. And trust me, you're not even going to have an audience because who wants to read a book if they already ran away from the idea of reading that book and tend to blogging instead z. So to not do that, I remember what I mentioned earlier about exceeding your competitors, right? So let's revive what the areas are, where you will need to actually exert the most, alright, so you make sure that you excel what your title, the points, the author is heating, alright, you need to watch your content formatting has to be, it has to be brilliant. Alright? The post length That's going to give like neatness to your what? Your blog, right? Except the first three, all of the risks that I've just mentioned. I have to do with your, with your post body, right? So the first three I forget about them. And in the last two that I've just mentioned, they have to do a lot more about your, your post body, right? And that's the part that's literally more important. Well, it's not more important. I think with blogging, it's different. It's different from writing books because I was blogging. Every part of your alveolar post has to be very interesting, right? Because it's short and it's chilled and it's not too much. Alright, so with writing a book is a lot more stressful. Take blogging too seriously, men, alright? You see what your, what your blog posts, blog posts are easily what? I easily and easy what Read? Write. The nature of blog posts or not. How can I put this? They're not easily read. Alright? Um, a lot of them are written like textbooks. Yes. I just told you guys, please don't make things worse. As a writer. When you're writing, yes, Some bloggers are used to reading what? Textbooks and all of that. So the thing go care from a textbook, that's all you know, you think when you're blogging, you also need to write your blog the same way you write, the same way you use. So from the textbook, right? But that's not really the case, right? But this happens, this happens for understandable reasons because like maybe bloggers don't read enough. So all they're familiar with, like I said, are like textbooks. And that's the only style they get to adapt to when they write their posts. Alright? But please don't be like them. Don't be like, ****, it's boy. It's so boring and it's tiring and it makes people sleep, trust me, because ain't no way I'm going to close a novel and go to a blogging site. When I get to the blog insight, I find a lot less text. Just like I promised. I know it's very blogging. Don't do that like seriously, I'm begging you please. If you want to be a very successful blogger, please, please take your writing very seriously, like you're blogging, right? Like when you blog, you need to take it very seriously. Yes, it's more children relaxed and that's why you have to pay even more attention to it. Because it's more children relax and we don't want you making mistakes in it. We don't want you making mistakes from what? From textbooks, from novels, from all of those junky books you read. Don't want that. And I don't mean you don't have to be like, I don't mean you don't have to be a reader or writer, right? Butt. With that mistake with your blogging post. Just avoid it, right? And I don't mean like, I mean, you don't have to be as good as like the most famous blog bloggers out there. A few, a few bloggers. I know you don't, you don't have to be as good as what as John marrow is, okay? But you have to add, at least you should write, just write in a way that's not painful to VDD, okay? Just write in a way that's not painful to read. And I'm not saying that reading is not fine or it's not fun. Trust me, I love reading, I read and I write all of that. But blogging is simply just supposed to be what they relate to. Keep it that way. And tried to infuse your personality in your posts. Alright, That's one way to avoid sounding like a robot. Please. We don't want some professional person who's just going to talk a whole lot of content there. No man. You want to, we want people to work to get a feel for you as a person. Like we want them to relate to you, okay, so letting your personality shine in your posts will make things more interesting for your readers. And another general tip I'd give you is, do not try to sound like a smart as what you're worth. Please don't don't don't use difficult words in every sentence you make, okay? Yeah, you may feel good about yourself. When you write. When you write like what? When you read like what like a walking, talking, frequent dictionary, you may feel good, but your readers will flee. Trust me, though fleet will all those fancy, fancy words you have on a blog. Now you're going to want them to grab dictionaries and we don't want that. We want to read and enjoy, enjoy a post. And that's that. And if you want them to stay, make your post very easy to read. 6. Different Ways Of Blogging: I've seen blogging. There are a few movies that you watch that happen too. What happened to show people who blogged in all those people who were they just write on their laptop, still be waiting certain topics that the blog today, i'm, I'm, I'm cooking my pie. What, what, what, what, what, what it's gonna be, what got butter. But they actually typing them and leaving them on the Internet. That's actually blogging. And I didn't do that. I knew that, but I didn't know it was blogging. So it helped me a lot. Like, It's not easy as well. I can't really say it's not easy because I've not really actually started doing it. But if you just keep trying men, if you just if you've already tapped into it yourself, if you just keep trying, trust me, you'll improve for sure. And honestly like the only way to improve on anything as to what if you actually keep practicing it and keep doing it more and that much, I can guarantee you that you'll get very good. So you need to just practice your introductions and write a few before you're satisfied with one. That's important. But don't just come up with an introduction in your head. And then boom, you think this is the one. We don't do that. You need to have like a long list of all the introductions that you have in your head and hinged on all of them. Ask around us to friends or skin one. Which topics sounds interesting? Say them out loud. Read them out loud until you've settled on one. Alright, I'm one topic that's going to satisfy you. And some tips that I can give you is that keep the beginning of your part. Can I give you these tips? Make sure you keep your wife. The beginning of your paragraphs shot. Tried to connect with your reader from the get-go, right? Read other blog posts. That's important. Posts that are written by what? By great writers. So take note of that, please. Make sure that you learn from other, what other bloggers, okay? And once you're writing your body, so the body of your blog should be like, should be full of actionable value, right? Okay, actionable very sounds kinda vague, but what I mean is your pause button should have, should have a lot of value, that it should have a lot of villi and make your readers what give you a hit us what they need to hear, okay? And what will they will be able to add? What they will be able to act upon. This process just simply starts with what, with understanding what your reader, okay, so that's all of it. And aside from the word, aside from the content, you're going to have from the what, from the ideas of already given you about blogging. You can use a few things that you really need to look into that that are going to help you build your blogging and keep you going for a long time, right? So this is actually going to make work a lot more easier for you. And it's gonna give you what the motivation to keep going with it, alright, so you'll just have to break your content intersections and what subsections and try and hit more pointers than your competitors. That's important. Don't just, okay with this one, don't just add what EDF filler content on top of your content to make it seem like you have more than enough to see, right? Your, you'd be very surprised. Your readers are actually very, very smart. Meters are not stupid at all. So they're going to see right through youth and neutral what it will have them abandon you foster didn't can actually even blink because once you try to meet your stupid, they're going to take you for a loan. We get are gonna think this plan is trying to make us clouds. So no, they are gone. They're going to disappear. They're going to disappear. Lake, lake that TikTok parenthesis. And people are disappeared. You don't see anywhere, right? So please don't do yourself like that. Yeah, Don't make sure that your content is what as digestible. Again, that depends on having a good understanding of your audience. I'll keep saying this. You need to understand your audience to provide them with the right information. Do not give too much that will overwhelm them. But give them too much that they will enjoy, right? Yeah. So you need to like use plenty of visuals, right? Where applicable, of course, don't just use them anywhere and everywhere. No. Well, for us humans, we tend to be like visual beings on about. Anything? Well, not anything. Well, most of us at least. So images do not only help us understand things better, right? So they also provide us a much needed break from string of texts, you know, the reading. By looking at an image alone, a person can literally understand what's going on. Alright? So another important thing is with blogging you all the time. You need to close your blogging with what? Positivity all the time. Blogging is different from a novel way. Nobody can endure book with anything anyhow, any blogging is very different. Make sure that you and your blog with positivity. Remember that the whole reason of blogging as to what is to answer these questions is to tap into questions that readers asked a lot. Alright? So when answering questions, you need to give them, like hope that things are gonna get better. You need to give them the faith that Norman stay strong if you're cooking, if you're trying to bake in your baking is not so great. Don't worry, it's gonna get better. Just look at this few tips I have for you, that or that, or that you give them the instructions of your baking, what protein, and all of that. And it's done. So you make sure you're ending should be, there, should be a very, very positive one, right? So you're giving them hope that no, keep trying, keep trying, keep trying everything. We'll just we'll just work up. Right. And, um, one thing is like, I don't know, despite ending with, with a good note, just it makes, it makes your readers feel good. It gives them those good vibes. Told them. It literally shows them that, okay, you've been there too, and you've gotten better over time. And you are simply telling them how far they can go with a little bit of effort to rate. So you need to ask yourself, what what would you have liked to hear when you were once upon a time when a reader to, right? So that's why I insist very much that you end your what, your blogging with a positive note. Because when you are a beginner to probably also like tried to imagine like, Oh my God, how am I going to do this plug-in thing or how is this broken thing going to work out and all of those things, right? So you really, really, really need to look into those things, right? And no matter what niche you in your likely solving a problem for your reader, right? And you're helping them overcome what? Overcome something. So you definitely need to give them the right encouragement. Yeah. Yeah, It definitely have to. 7. Class Project: And so that will be all for today. I hope you guys have enjoyed today's lesson. And before I go remember to what? Remember to read a poem and actually follow up, actually follow all of the guidelines I had for you guys. Alright, and I think that will be all for what? For your class lesson today. So make sure you do that. And Ciao, ciao.
