1. Introduction: Hey guys, my name is Eric on that sheet of
foreplay skillfully, in this course we're
going to be looking at triplets, quadruplets,
and quintuplets. Okay, It's gonna be fun, it's gonna be exciting. I hope to see you
in this course. Also just to let you know
play skillfully is all about hoping to learn the piano
in a more simplified way. So in this series, I'm sure murphy different
ideas to help to improve strength and speed in your fingers with
various exercises. So I hope to see you all in this new course and also check
out our courses as well. See you soon.
2. Explaination of course: So before we start this course, that's when I'll quickly
explain a few things to you about this course. We're going to look
at three exercises are freed from rhythms, which is the triplet rhythm, quadruple rhythm,
and the quintuplet. The triplet rhythm is
when we play free nodes. For everyone, be that
you hear quadruplets. River is when we play four
notes for every one beat. And then quintuplet
reference when you play five notes for
everyone meets, Okay? And you'll notice that
every exercise which will breakdown when we get
to those exercises. So for these exercises, we're looking at three
different scales. We can have C major scale. Alright, the next goal
we're looking at is that a minor or a natural
minor scale? And the last one
we're looking at is the F major pentatonic scale, which the five-note scale. So these are gonna be free
skills that we're going to use this whole coast and
these exercises. So that's just a
few fingers when I mentioned before we
start this course. So now we are ready. I'll see you soon.
3. Major triplets (Demonstration): Hey guys, welcome to our
very first lesson now, which is the triplets in majors. And we're going to look at
three different exercises. So I always see you off
this demonstration.
4. Ex 1 - Major triplets RH (Lesson Breakdown): Welcome all of you to our very first lesson of this course. So we're first going
to look at the majors and triplets and the right hand, then left hand, and then
both hands together. And we're doing this at ATP pm. Alright, so let's get started. For this exercise. We're going to be
using our thumb, second finger, and third finger, and that's in both
hands by the way. Alright, so how it
works is like this. For every click that
you hear or every beat, there's gonna be
freedoms attached to those, to those beats. Okay, so listen to the click. So every beat, right? So let me play this for
you real quick. Like this. G here, that every
beat there was free notes attached to cough. So I'll do it. My
fingers clicking. So one-two-three, one-two-three, one-two-three, one-two-three,
one-two-three. Like that. Yeah. I'm not sure if you heard
my fingers clicking, but you heard me counting. So just remember that for every click there are
free notes attached. So just to get you started, we're just going to do
one octave come from C to C. But the full exercise is
going to be over two octaves, okay, So from this C up
to this C up here, okay? So how it works is like this. It goes 123 when you get your first finger IPO from underneath it or
behind it because they are 123123 and behind
it frightening go 123123. And behind, sorry,
123 to end on. Let's put let's
put that in time. So those like this, 12311123, like that. So now let's try that
with a metronome. Okay. The students for
the metronome at ATP PM, right off the 41234. Okay. As I always say, if it's too far for you, you can play at a slower tempo than what I'm playing right now. But right now I'm
playing an 80 BPM. Okay, So you commit,
you can knock it down to 70 if you wanted to. I'm definitely one more time. 1234. Yeah, that's basically it. Alright. So we're gonna go from this C up to this
see now, alright, so two octaves off
the 41 to free fall. That's how we end.
Now going backwards. It's the same way
went forwards, right? So it's just the 123 but
going backwards, so it's 123. Bring it to the fifth
finger up, we affirm down to skipping two
notes to go down. 123, skip two nodes. Two nodes. Keeps going on. Or free, free, kick
go all the way down. And that's destination. Okay, So let's just get going backwards off the full 1234. So now we're going
to go forward and backwards without
stopping. All right. So once he got to that,
see you keep going. So there's no break.
Alright, so straightaway that we're going to
do this at a BPM, it may be a little bit tricky, but guys, I believe in you,
I know you can do this. All right. It just takes time. It takes patients, but you
will get to eventually. So now let's go forward and then backwards off the
four bytes, 1234, 23, and end. Okay, let's start one more time. 123, go 23. Amazing what guy says how
we do the right-hand. Now going to look at the
left-hand, see you in a bit.
5. Ex 1 - Major triplets LH (Lesson Breakdown): So we're back looking at a
left hand in the majors. So it's the same free fingers, but now we're going backwards. So we start with
our third finger to the second finger to the firm
by the same pattern, right. So it's 12 312-312-3123,
and so on. Yeah. Etcetera. Alright,
so we're gonna go from Linda due to update
in the left-hand glucose, we already know the pattern now, you should already
know the pattern. If you've learned your
right hand for a, well, we're going to go from
this C up to this C here. And just to let you
know, your left hand and right hand are two
uptakes a part. Alright, so when we do
both hands together, you have left that
will be further apart. So he left hand will be here and your right
hand will be here. When we do this exercise. If you not really used
to your left hand, this might feel a little
bit tricky for you, but practice,
practice, practice. And you'll get this
off the forgotten. A metronome 123-41-2341. Free fall into the first
finger in the left hand. Alright. One more time. 12341313. Alright. So hope you've got that
now in your left hand. So let us now do this
with a metronome. But now we're gonna go to uptake straightened to optimize. Okay, So after 41234, how would I went
too fast for you? Let's do that one more time. 1234234. Yep. And that's basically it. Now. So we're now going to
look at going backwards. Backwards is 321-32-1321. I'm talking about your
fingers by the way. So it's 32132 and so on. Because to this the
metronome, alright. So Truman provided
metronome again. I do that. The metronome first
three. Nice and slow. So 1 234-123-1234. Yeah. So just remember the
patterns like this, 12 freebies that farm we
skipped two notes down here. Skipping two notes. Alright, now let's try
it with the metronome. Alright, after 412, free fall. Free fall. So work on going forward, then backward separately
before going forward and backwards altogether
at the same time. Alright? So you just get used to the forward way
in a backwards way. So I'm going to go
now forward and backwards with the
metronome off the floor. Let's let's go. 1234. I sit one more time. 123. And that's how we
do it. Alright, So I would suggest that
it's too fast for you. Go down to seven to
eight or even 60 BPM and see how that feels for you. Alright, so that's amazing. So now the next one will be both hands together.
I'll see you in a bit.
6. Ex 1 - Major triplets BH (Lesson Breakdown): Alright, so now it's the
big one. We're looking at. Both hands play together
at the same time for this. And just remember your
hands at two octaves apart, okay, two left hands
would be down here. Right hand's going
to be up here. Yeah, I'm gonna play it
to you first so you get an idea of how sound, right? No metronome like this. That's how we end. Okay. So we're going to play this
one at 60 BPM because it's a bit more challenging in
both hands at the same time. You may want to
do even slower if you find it too hard at 60 BPM. This wow, say it's really important that you
learn both your hands separately very
well first before attempting to do both
hands at the same time. Because it's gonna
be even harder. We try and do them
at the same time. She's not mastered
the hands separately. Okay. So I'll put the metronome on now
along the plate T-H, play it for you. Crisis of one of teeth. After 41234. Free and again for free fall. So I hope you kind of
get the gist of how it sounds and how it
works, et cetera. So now I'm going to go over
to update, okay, so again, pause if you need to practice
it at your own speed, then join me afterwards.
Off the fall. One to free. Fall. Free fall. Great. So why did you
quit going forward? There? You can do two hands
going backwards like this. Yes, that one more
time. Just backwards. 34 go. Yep. And the best way
to master this if each keep repeating it
over and over again. So let's keep repeating
it going backwards. Try and do that five
times. Steve can do that. No mistakes at the
speed that you choose. Yes, if you choose
that 50 PPM or 47, try to do it just going one way and master it just one way, the other way, then
put it all together. Okay guys, so we're now going to attempt to play this forward and backwards all the way through with the
metronome that stopping. Alright, so let's go 1234, go free.
7. Ex 2 -Major triplets RH (Lesson Breakdown): Hey guys. So now we're looking
at our second example of the triplets in majors
in our right hand first, then I left hand them both
hands as we've done before. So let's get started. So for this exercise, what we do is that we go
backwards now what fingers? So going from the fifth finger, forefinger to the third finger, with the same notes going
forward and backwards, or as the same thing as
forward and backwards. Let me show you a
quick example just from this sea to the
sea, just one octave. So like this, 54353. Yeah, just like that. Yep,
so pretty straightforward, sexy thing he's doing before
in the first example, but now it's just for the
fifth finger foods and third. One more time. So she has free, sorry, five. Same thing as you keep going
up to the next octave. Yep, them when you end, but you end up actually
from this point here, this is when you're
going backwards. So this will be our
last point here. Then from here we're going
backwards and so on, right? But we will talk about that
when we get to that point. So yeah, let's welcome.
Just going forwards. If these fingers, Alright, so I'm gonna play with the
metronome now at 60 BPM. So it's a little bit faster than what I showed you this now. So what you can do is that you
can watch me play it first before you join in or
you can even join them. So after 4123, go. Alright. So now you can
join in if you didn't join in the first time
off the fall, 1234. And that's how you
play it going forward. So it's okay. Going
backwards now. So going backwards. Same fingers, right? So it's the fifth
finger to the fourth, to the third, but now
we're going backwards. This is keep going down until we reach
this see over here. All right, so we're
going down to what? I'm going to mention them first. 123 full. Yep. And that's how
we basically put it. So I'm going to do if the
metronome now going just backwards off the full. Alright, so you can
draw them in this one once you've gotten what
you understand it. And so you can now join me as I.
8. Ex 2 -Major triplets LH (Lesson: So we're now on to our left
hand for the second example. So same thing goes
as the right hand. And we're going forwards. All right, so like this little finger right there. Alright, so it's
exactly the same thing. So platinum along with me
this time with the metronome. The metronome. So 123 go S2 is not with the
metronome after 4123. Yeah. All right. Just
that one more time with the metronome. 123. Go. Alright. So basically left
hand going backwards, says that this free for five. It's pretty straightforward. With none denotes the pattern. Yeah, that's basically it. So now let's go forward. Actually, let's just
go backwards first. Then when they go
forward and backwards, stray off off the fall. One, free fall. So now let's go forward and
backwards off the full one. Cheap free fall. That's it. Go forward
and backwards. So just take your time to practice this one going
forward and backwards. It may feel a little bit awkward if you're not
left-handed as well, going forward and backwards in his hand compared
to the right hand. So this one may take a bit
more time than the right hand, but stick with it
and you'll be okay. So we're now going
to look at putting this exercise together
in both hands. So I'll see you in
the next lesson.
9. Ex 2 -Major triplets BH (Lesson: Now we're looking
at example two in both hands. Hope you're ready. So our hands are gonna
be one octave apart. So I left hand will be here, on the right hand
will be over here. Alright, so just remember, the right hand and your little
finger will go together. Your four fingers go
together and both hands. And your third finger and your pinky will match
together as well. Alright, so just like this, this is still one
uptake like this. So I hope that is clear for you. I do it for you one more time. And so on, right? So in the
gap to this C here, alright, so both warfare
thing because we're in our fifth finger on
the fifth and go end. All right, so let's do
this with the metronome. Take our time. It is. So after 4123 go. Let's try that
again. Off the 4123. Go. Alright, so that's
it going forward. So now this okay,
going backwards. Alright, so we ended here. So backwards. And so on like that. You feel you're a
little bit lost. Go back to student
had separately again, then put them together once you understand your fingers
and what they're doing. Alright, So when the go
backwards now off the floor, 1234, go. Okay, great. Alright, so now we're
going to go forward and backwards in both
foreheads together. This one's a tough one,
but let's go with it. So 123, go. So well done guys.
So don't go to the next exercise until
you've mastered this one. Alright, so welcome
number one first, whilst number one,
the mass number to which we're at right now. Then go to the third exercise. Alright, I'll see you soon.
10. Ex 3 -Major triplets RH (Lesson: So well done and
getting this far, we're looking at
the final exercise for the triplets
in their majors. So it's just a mixture of the
first and second exercise. So if you look at my
hands, my right hand, because like this it goes up. It goes down. So it's 123543. Yes, it's a mixture
of the first and the second exercise is
put together basically, all right, We're going
forward and then backwards using those patterns combined. So let me just do it
one octave so you get an idea of how it
sounds and how it goes. So it goes like
this after 41234. Let me stop there. I
do see one more time. So it's 123-53-1357. Once you go in. The same one. Alright. So this is
for the metronome. Yep. So you should hopefully understand what
we're doing because the same two exercises we
done earlier, previously. Alright, so let's do this now. Combine them, right? So 123, go. I'll stop there. Just
explain something. So when we're going up for
a free fingers, That's one. B will go down as
the second beat. 11. Yeah, that makes sense. So your first three fingers are going to hit the first beat, your next three fingers, and I'm going to hit
the second beat, well, the next beat afterwards. Alright, so hope
that makes sense. Again. She's going forward from this C order
up to the CSO to taste of the fall, 123, go. We ended up going forwards. Alright, so going backwards, It's the same thing. So we put up from here, we're going backwards. Right? So same time. 123543. Yeah, exactly. So we
do that all the way down to the final
sketches down here. Alright, so it's
just the same thing. 123 then five, freedom, one. Yep, and so on. Alright, so let's do that now with the metronome
just going backwards. Alright. Off the 4123. Let me end on the seat. That's how we get going
forward and backwards.
11. Ex 3 -Major triplets LH (Lesson: So let's get straight
into this left hand now. So it's gonna be like this. So that's gonna be 543123. So the opposite way
round to the right-hand. Cisco. Showing you
any new one octane. Alright, so let me
show you this. Let me just quickly show you
this in the one-up teeth. Alright, so renin, renin. So that's basically the pattern. So similar to the right hand. Fingers are different
because the left hand, if you're still finding
this a little bit tricky, pause at this point in his work on just going from DC to DC. Just want to save the file, read and want to keep going up to get to the
sea where I stopped earlier. Right? Once you've got that, then dry me by playing with the metronome I'm going
to do over to update now. Alright. Off the fall. One to free. Finger. Your finger. When we do it
properly. You one more time. So this is how we do going
forward or backwards. Again, the same fingers going backwards. That's
what it is. Alright. So it's the 543153.
Same fiendish. Yep. So just remember it's the same finger pattern as when you use as well
Who's going forward? Okay, So let's go with the metronome all the
way down to the end. 1234. Yes. A foot last part, it's the F demand
on c value to zero. Yeah. So let's do that
again. Off the fall. One, cheap, free to free. The left-hand guys.
So let's do it now, forward and
backwards. All right. Off the 4123 Free master left-hand. So we are now going
to look at Plaintiffs exercise in both hands
at the same time. I'll see you next lesson.
12. Ex 3 -Major triplets BH (Lesson: Alright guys, so now we're
on to our final exercise for the triplets in the
majors in both hands. So let's get started
with this exercise now. So we are now going to
attempt this exercise in both hands at the same time. Alright, you've got this,
Let's get on with it. So what we do now is
that we go forward and backwards from the little finger. Second finger or
fingers together. Dense when the little
finger and thumb. Finger, second finger. That's the middle plane facing this way,
the middle-class. Alright, let's do this.
Let's do this now. Just one Octavio. Go from
this C up to this C here. Alright, nice and slow. So what? Right there? I've slowed this exercise down to
55 beats per minutes, just to make it easier
for you to grasp. So let's do this now with the metronome just
going forwards. Okay. After 4123 go. Yeah, that's how we end. Definitely one more
time. Free. One. Sorry. One. See, free, go free. Okay. So I hope you says how
we play it going forwards. So going backwards, It's
exactly the same thing, same fingers, but we just go in the backwards motion. Alright. So like this, and so on. Alright, so that's
basically yeah. So let's now go backwards with the metronome right
off the 4123. Go free. So we're going to get
straight into this now. If I'm going too
fast for you guys, pulls had to set your own pace than coming dry me where I'm
at right now. All right. So let's get on with this rat. So it's forward and then
backwards off the 4123. Go. Alright, and that's all the exercises now for
the triplets in the majors. So I'll be seeing all of
you in the next lesson, which is a quadruplets in the
majors. I'll see you soon.
13. Major Quadruplets (Demonstration): So we're now going to
look at three examples in quadruplets in the majors. So I'll see you after
this demonstration.
14. Ex 1 - Major Quadruplets RH (Lesson Breakdown): Hey, so we're not doing that
quadruplets in the majors. So that's gonna be four notes that every beat that we hear, every click that we hear, it's going to be four
notes like this. So I'm going to
show you a quick, a quick example from this C up to this C up here.
So it'd be like this. 135. Yes, quick example. So for notes for every number that I counted as you just saw. Alright, so what
I'm going to do now is I'm going to play
with the click. So you hear the tempo that
we're playing it, alright? So with the click. So just remember there's four
notes every click, right? So after 412341, That's how you play
it with the click. Okay. I'm going to
ask you one more time just from this C up to this see up here, 12341. So now it's gonna be
a bit challenging, but challenge is good, right? That's pushing us. So
let's try and do this now. From this C up to the C up here, 80 BPM after 41, to free for me. And when I see this
one more time, 123, go 234. Yes, that's how we
do going forward. So going back, same notes, same thing goes the way down. And right there. Yeah, so once we
get to that end, I just very end this down
to this going backwards. Okay. Include the
metronome off to 41234.
15. Ex 1 - Major Quadruplets LH (Lesson Breakdown): So we're now looking
at a left hand now for the quadruple, the exercise. So we already know
that we're paying for notes for every beat. Yes, But now we use in our
full finger second end farm. So you start with my
forefinger. Alright. So it's free for yes, so it's pretty straightforward
because we know the right-hand already and we know the notes we're playing. Alright, so it should be pretty straightforward in
regards to the notes. All right guys, we're going
to do left hand now going up to uptake because we
already know the notes. Alright, so we're going to
do this at ATP PM again. So we're just going
to go from this, see stuff like this,
see here. Okay. So let's get started
after 4123423. So now let's go backwards. So same as before where we use the same fingers
as with RAM, we use the same fingers
but going backwards, right? So it'd be false. And so on. So I'm gonna do this one
now with the metronome. I would like you to
play along with me or watch me for the first time, enjoyment a second
time, if you prefer. So after 4123434. Okay. I'm gonna do
it one more time. This time you can dry me
if you feel you're ready or you can pause
at this point and practice without me. Alright? So after 41234, That's how you play
it in the left hand. So next up we're
going to attempt to play this in both hands. So I expect this one to be a little bit more
challenging for you, but you'll be fine too. I will see you in
the next lesson.
16. Ex 1 - Major Quadruplets BH (Lesson Breakdown): Hey guys, We are now going
to do a harder task playing both hands together at the
same time in a quadrupeds. Alright, so let's do
this nice and slow. So I'm now going to play
this back the metronome, Nice and slow so you could
see what my hands are doing. So make sure your forefinger
is on the seat and the left hand and your thumb is on the seat and
the right hand. We could do this nice and slow. So we're going from this
C up to this C here. So one octave in both hands. Okay, So that is why the false and the firm
can do that again. Try and join me as
well if you haven't dreamt me already. All right. At this point, so after 41234, we are now going to do
this with the metronome. I slowed it down because I
know it can be tricky planar, 80 BPM with both hands. So after four, we can go
from this C to the C, okay? And from DC to DC, from this see the SR right hand and from DC to DC
and your left hand. Okay, Nice and slow. 1234. Say that one more
time after 412343. So now we're going to go the full two Octavia a k in
both hands going forward. So after four, hope
you're ready. Let's go. 1234234. So now we're going
to play straight away, going backwards. Okay? Hopefully by now you should know your left hand
and right hand backwards. So all we do now is
putting it altogether, okay, Let's go straight
and move this. Alright, so off the four
things in place, 12343. So now we're going to go forward and then backwards
in both hands. 1234, free. And that's how you play.
The quadruplets in the majors come
forward and backwards. So I will see you for
the next exercise in the quadruplets
in the majors.
17. Ex 2- Major Quadruplets RH (Lesson Breakdown): Alright guys, so we're now
going to the next exercise in a quadruplets looking at the right hand of
the second exercise. Okay? So it goes like this. So to do this exercise, put our finger on the note or on C. Then we skip two notes
per forefinger. There. We go down for free. Then we put off from where
the second finger is. They repeat the same
pattern over again. For free. To put your farm
here. Skip 2432. And that is basically
the exercise just going forwards and backwards as
well because the same notes. So new pages for you. Let's just play
this one octave of the 412, 341-234-1234, etcetera. Okay, So that's it. So let's try this
with the metronome. I'm doing that 75 bpm. The case a little bit
slower than what we've done in the previous exercises. This one is a little bit, could be a little bit tricky for you. All right, let's do softer for, so just remember this. We're playing in
time with the beat. So for notes, for every
beat off the 41234, let me stop at C. Do that again. 1234. We have second thing go. So
now we're going to do this over two octaves off the 41234. Okay, one more time. 234. Okay, so that's how we
do it going forward, in the right-hand, tail, going backwards,
it goes like this, super far from that C. Then we plot for skip
to the fourth note, which is F. Then
go back for free, go back to B. Fan for free, to download. For free, to skip that note. Then for free two and so on. And that's basically how
he played going backwards. Okay? Alright, so we're going to do is now
with the metronome. But when they go
down to updates, so we can go all the way down to the end with this one. Alright.
18. Ex 2- Major Quadruplets LH (Lesson Breakdown): So now in the left
hand we start with our fifth finger, 5432. That's the first four going up. Then going backwards
is going to be 1234. Then when we get to
that forefinger, we put our fifth finger
in-app same place. Okay, we just replaced
the forefinger with the fifth finger yet, but the same pattern
as the right hand. Okay? So it's, so it's
going to be like this. Five, free to them backwards, backwards, replace, and so on. Okay. We're going to go
straight in with this one with the metronome
going over two octaves. Off the fall, 1234. Then we end right there. Let's do that one more time. Off to 41234. And then on the fourth note, on foot with the forefinger
on C. If you find, but I've just played
two very fast. Don't try and play with me. Play at your own pace. Just work on playing the pattern forward in your left hand, okay? Okay, so going backwards. So we ended there on the sea. So now I'm going to put
all the little finger pinky in that place. Then we go up same
way we went up before for free 2D and down 1234, then the pattern continues, and so on. Okay, Let's do this now
with the metronome. Off the fall 1234.
19. Ex 2- Major Quadruplets BH (Lesson Breakdown): We are now looking
at both hands in exercise number two of the
quadruplets in the majors. Alright, so just remember your left hand and
right hand fingering, okay, So in your left-hand we'll start with the
forefinger on Etsy. And in the right hand we
start with a phenomenal see, yep, go from here. I'm going to play
at the same time. Nice and slow. Yeah, that's how we play. It was going up
just that that was just the one uptake
does give you a quick example of
pain in both hands. I do it again. Let's
do this together. Nice and slow off the floor
with me counting 1234. Stop here. Okay, that's how we do
it over one octave. So as you know, with the
metronome is going to be much faster in both hands. I'm doing that 70 bpm. So I would just say working your coordination
in your left hand and right hand together and play them as
slow as possible. You might have to slow
the speed down to 40, then go up and build up
to the speed of 70 bpm. Yet, but it's
brought up gradually if this is too fast for you. So I'm just going to play
it now as simply BPM. You can join with me or you can practice by yourself
until we get to the speed one to free for stop there. So I'm going to do this
now over to uptake in both hands as 70
bpm after 41234. And we stop there. That one more time. 1234. Okay. And that's how you do it going forward. When we get to that point there, you're going to shift
your forefinger over to that C and your firm to see from farm to see
in the right-hand, forefront governance,
see in the left-hand. Then we start the pattern
again and keep going down. Okay? So it's the same
pattern but going backwards, as you know, you've done this in the left-hand and
right-hand already. Alright, let's go backwards
now, in both hands, 70 bpm after 41234234. And that's how we did it.
So practice just going forward then practice
going backwards, then forward and backwards. Alright guys, so we're now
going to the next exercise in a quadruplets looking at the right hand of
the second exercise. Okay, So it goes this. So to do this exercise, put our finger on the note or on C. Then we skip two notes.
Fourth finger There. We go down 432. Then we put off from where
the second finger is. Repeat the same
pattern over again. For free. To put your thumb here. Skip 2432. And that is basically
the exercise just going forwards and backwards as
well because the same notes. So let me play this for you. Let's just play this
one octave after 4123, 412-34-1234, etcetera. Okay, so, so let's try
this with the metronome. I'm doing that 75 BPM case a little bit slower
than what we've done in the previous exercises. This one is a little bit, could be a little bit tricky for you. All right, let's
do software for. So just remember this. We're playing in
time with the beat. So for nuts, for every beat. After 41234. Let me stop there. I
see. Do that again. 1234. Up there we have
second thing go. So now we're going
to do this over two octaves off the 41234. Okay, one more time. 234. Okay, so that's how we do it going forward in the right hand. So going backwards,
it goes like this, super fun on that C. Then we plot for skip to
the fourth note, which is F. Then go back for free, go back to B, fan 432 down to the next note. For free, to skip that note. Then 432 and so on. And that's basically how
he played going backwards. Okay? Alright, so we're going to do is now
with the metronome. But when they go down to uptake, so we can go all the way down
to the end with this one. Alright, so after 412-344-1234, 234. Okay, and that's how we
do it going backwards. So we are now going to go forward and then backwards
in the right hand. All right, so I hope
you're ready for this. If you're not ready, take
time out. Without me. Practice by yourself, work on the fingering and play
at a slower tempo. Then join me once you're
up to speed, okay. After 41234, free fall. So that's how he
played exercise in the right hand going
forward and backwards. So next exercise will
be in the left hand. Okay, so see you in a bit.
20. Ex 3 - Major Quadruplets RH (Lesson Breakdown): For this final exercise
in the quadruplets, we go, we got up four fingers, then it goes down four fingers. Alright, so for our first
four fingers like this, and the right hand will go down by four
fingers like this. 5432. So it's 1234 then 5432. Okay? So that's what we keep doing this you keep going
up and down as well. Okay. So that this 135432, 12345432, the same as the last
exercise where we replaced the second finger
is the fun as we go up. See that fungus but second
finger end like that. Okay. I'm to ask
you one more time. That no metronome. So 1234. And we stop there. So for every beat, so for the first beat, we've got four for the
second beat would go down for this one is gonna
be pretty fast. So it's going to be for
four nodes for every beat. Alright, so for notes
up for one beat, four notes down
for the next beat, foreigners up one beat, four notes down
for the next beat. So let me quickly
demonstrate this to you. Signed up for and then
down four on each beat. Alright, so listen
very carefully, write the metronome
so it's a bit clear, bit more clearer for you. So it's down. And if we keep going up
with that pattern, okay? Alright, so let's try it
for the metronome for 1234. Okay? And that's
gonna be doing going forward in the right hand. So when we are going backwards, we replaced the second
finger with the thumb. So we go up 1234 then down. Same pattern, and so on like that. Okay, let's not do this for
the metronome just going backwards off the full 1234. So just to note, before we
get to that final CB play E, There you go to the
scene at the end. Alright, let's do
this so forward and backwards in the right hand. Off the 41234.
21. Ex 3 - Major Quadruplets LH (Lesson Breakdown): So now in the left
hand we start with our fifth finger, 5432. That's the first four going up. Then going backwards
is going to be 1234. Then when we get to
that forefinger, we put our fifth finger
in-app same place. Okay, we just replaced
the forefinger with the fifth finger yet, but the same pattern
as the right hand. Okay? So it's, so it's
going to be like this. Five, free to them backwards, backwards, replace, and so on. Okay. We're going to go
straight in with this one with the metronome
going over two octaves. Off the fall, 1234. Then we end right there. Let's do that one more time. Off to 41234. And then on the fourth note, on foot with the forefinger
on C. If you find, but I've just played
two very fast. Don't try and play with me. Play at your own pace. Just work on playing the pattern forward in your left hand, okay? Okay, so going backwards. So we ended there on the sea. So now I'm going to put
all the little finger pinky in that place. Then we go up same
way we went up before for free 2D and down 1234, then the pattern continues, and so on. Okay, Let's do this now
with the metronome. Off the fall, 1234. 1234. So that's how we
do that going backward. So now we're going to go
forward and backwards. No breaks. This go. After 41234. Free.
22. Ex 3 - Major Quadruplets BH (Lesson Breakdown): Just to make it a bit
more easier for you to play in both hands. So we know that our
little finger and thumb will play
at the same time. Yeah. It's going
up the first four. Then down. Make sure you matching your fingers
at the same time. And so on. Okay. So I would like us to now play
one uptake in both hands. Okay. With me just counting. So after 4123. So I would just like
us to play one Octavio whilst I count off 41234. That's basically the
exercise going forward. So we're now going to play with the metronome over to
optimize after 41234234. All right. So as you remember, we skipped our fourth finger
on the left hand with the pinky and our second thing going in the right
hand with the farm. Yep. Let's go backwards now. Straight away off the
41234, all the way down. Okay. So that's how we
play it going backwards. So now I would
like us to work on paying it forward
and then backwards. So that now I would like us to work on
plaintiffs exercise forward and then
backwards after 41234. As you probably heard, I had
a few bomb notes myself. Alright, so even I know
it's a bit tricky. So you've got to take
your time with this one. Player slow tempo, then
build up gradually. And you should get
this pretty easy. I'll probably work out
this myself as well. So I will see you for the
next exercise in the majors, which is the Quinn couplets.
23. Major Quintuplets (Demonstration): So we're now going to
look at the majors in quintuplets and we're
looking at two examples. Alright, so C of
this demonstration.
24. Ex 1 - Major Quintuplets RH (Lesson Breakdown): So we're now looking at our right-hand for
the quintuplets. And for this exercise, it's five notes for every
beat of every click, every click that you
hear from the metronome, you got to play five nodes
within those clicks. So at this, let me just
count and give you an example like this, 12312345. So all that we're
doing in this exercise that we use an oil of our
five fingers to go up. Yep, so 12345 meter next note, 12345 meter next node. And so on until we get to
this C here where we end. Alright? So let's do two or case straightaway
to update from this C up to this c.
So we're going to use all of our fingers
as you go up to the C. Alright, so after Ford join me, 123 412-341-2341, then we end there. Okay, and that's basically it. Alright, so let's do this with the metronome just
going forwards. We are doing this at 60 BPM, Okay, So after 41234, all the way up, we end there. Let's do that one more time off, two for one to free fall. So going backwards,
It's the same thing, but now he's going in
a backwards motion. So it still though 12345, but never going back 12345 and back all the way down
to the sea here. Okay. Let's try it with the
metronome off to 41234 and to free fall. Okay, Excellent. So now we're going to go
forwards and then backwards. Okay, you're going to go
straight weight into this. Alright, so after 41234, 23.4, and that's how you play this exercise
going forward and backwards and
now right hand. So our next lesson is going
to be in our left hand. Okay, so I'll see you then.
25. Ex 1 - Major Quintuplets LH (Lesson Breakdown): We have done the right hand. So now we're looking at the
left hand for this exercise. So we're basically
doing the same pattern, but now we start with the fifth finger going up
to the thumb. Alright. So it's 543-215-4321, and so on. Hopefully if you've gone
for all the courses so far, you should understand
how left-hand works and works and on the
right hand. All right. So we start with the fifth
finger with the thumb. Right. So 543-215-4321. Yeah. Let's get straight Let's
get straight into this. This is still one Octavio route, no metronome first of all, just so you get used to
your left hand, corner, Left-hand, always a little bit trickier than the right hand. So after four counts, 12, 34, go 123-45-1234, and with a little finger there. Let's do that one more time. After 412, 341-234-1234. So we are now going to
attempt to do this exercise, but the left hand
with the metronome. Okay, Just going
forward, 123,423.4. Great. So going backwards, It's going to be 54321
and backwards motion. So let's get started with this. So I would like you to
play with me all the way down to the sea, right? So starting here and we're
going all the way down here, right off the floor. One to free, for free. And four. So we're gonna go
forward and then backwards. K off the 41234. Cheap, free and four. Okay, Excellent work. So that's how we
play it forward and backwards in our left hand. So now we're going
to the next task, which is putting
them both together. A case I'll see you
in the next lesson.
26. Ex 1 - Major Quintuplets BH (Lesson Breakdown): We are now at the final hurdle, put in both of our hand to
give up for this exercise. So let's get straight into this. We already know
what we're doing, but on the right hand and be
done the left-hand already. So your aims to hit
the same notes at the same time in both hands, okay, you know your aim. Alright, so after four, Let's go with no metronome. We're going to play
from this c to the c. So just one octave. One, 234-123-1234. We can do that again, then the carrier to be slower, 12 341-234-1234. So now let's pull it all
together with the metronome going forward after 41234. Okay, Excellent. So that may have been a
little bit too fast. You bought just work
on booting up to that speed if it's too
fast in both hands. So now let's work on doing
this exercise backwards. Alright, so we're just
going up like this. Yeah, As you already know. Okay, so starting on the
sea, this go backwards. I'm going to go straight in
with the metronome, okay? And we're going from this C
all the way down way down to the beginning of 241234, go to 3.4. I still find it too fast. And then going forward
and backwards, find the temperature that
you feel comfortable. Maybe at 40 BPM or
even 50, right? So I'm playing at 60
BPM at the moment. But yet it's fine to
just find a tempo that use a metronome that you
feel comfortable playing. Yep, see that these
what I'm playing. Okay. But I would say work up
to the speed I'm playing, or even triangle faster. Once you get to the
speed, I'm playing that to challenge yourself. Alright, so we're gonna go
forward and backwards now. Yeah. After 41234 go. So that's how we play it going forward and backwards, guys. So well done if he was
able to do that with me, and if it wasn't
able to do that with me at the speed
that I was playing. Again, play a speed that
you feel comfortable. And triangle phone
and backwards at that speed that you
feel comfortable, then gradually build up. So start at 14 and build
up incrementally, right? So starting at 40 then
40 to 44, et cetera. Okay, great guys. I'll see
you for the next exercise.
27. Ex 2 - Major Quintuplets RH (Lesson Breakdown): Now for exercise number two, so similar to exercise number
one where it went up 12345. So instead of doing that, we are going back 543-215-4321. Yeah. So still using will
have five fingers going down with my
fingers instead. Let's do this off to four. Okay. Just from this C up to
the C here, 123-412-3413. Let me stop right there. Okay. Excellent. Alright, let's try that with a metronome, just one-off teeth, okay, 1234. Okay, great. So now
let's do it from this sea to the
sea off the 41234. Excellent. Alright, and that's how we do it going forward. Okay. So now backwards is
the same thing, right? So it's 543 2, 543-215-4321, and so on. Okay. So that's how we do
is going 543-215-4321. Alright, let's use this. Now. Let's do this with
the metronome 1234. And that's how we ended in the right-hand
going backwards. Alright, so we're gonna go
forward and backwards now. Okay. Just take your time
with this off to 41234. This one may be a little bit tricky going forward
and backwards. Okay, so take your
time with this one. Does we have to rush
to the next part? We're to the left hand yet, just work on getting
your right hand good food and backwards. Then join me for the next
part, which is the left hand. Okay. I'll see you soon.
28. Ex 2 - Major Quintuplets LH (Lesson Breakdown): We are now looking
at our left hand. Hopefully you're able
to play a right-hand really well going
forward and backwards. So we are now going
to look at doing the same with the left hand, okay? So starting here. So it's just now starting
with a firmware. So it's 123-451-2345. Okay, Jeremy, Alright, so it's clear from
that G and we're going to go backwards, 12345. And we're going to stop here for our little finger
right after 41234. Go. Okay, that's how we do
it. Well, I left hand. Alright, so let's
try and do this now with the
metronome going from this C all the way up
to this E here. Okay. After 4123 for excellent work. That one more time. All right. Off the 412-34-1234. Great work. Alright. So backwards. Yeah. You should
know by now, right? So it's just 12345
going backwards. Okay? So let's get straight into
this, just going backwards, all the way down,
all the way down. Alright, after 41234. All right, Good Hope
you've got that one. So now we're going to go forward and then backwards
with this scale. Okay? And if you are moving to, you find out, if you find
that I'm moving too fast, pause at this point and work on going backwards in
your left hand. Okay, then join me
once you're ready. So after four going forwards
and then backwards, alright, so after 41234 go. So that's it going forward and backwards in our left hand. So I will see you for the
next lesson where we're going to put both
your hands together. Okay, so I'll see you soon.
29. Ex 2 - Major Quintuplets BH (Lesson Breakdown): Well done guys, you've
gotten this far. We are now looking
at both of our hands together for the
quintuplets hand position. So your left hand, your
family being at g, your right hand,
your little finger? G. Right. And we're going to
do Nice and slow. 4, 123-412-3412. Let's do that again after 412, 341-234-1234. So let's now include the
metronome as you play this from this C all the way up
to the second of tape, all the way to the end. So this go off to 41234. Go this one. You may have to slow down a bit. I would say like knock it
down to that 50 maybe or 40. Only if you're finding
it to Farsi, okay? If you're not finding too fast and find dreaming, alright? Or if it's too slow for
you, make it faster, right? So let's go backwards
now, right? So make sure you're farmers
and the G in your left hand and your little fingers on
the G on your right hand. Alright, so I'm going
to count. We're just going to do one octave. So off the force
we can from this C to the C here, we end. So after 412, 341-234-1234. Okay, well done. So
now we're going to do both hands going from this C all the way
down to the beginning. Alright, off the 41234. Okay, amazing. Alright, so now
we're going to go forward and then backwards, right straighten. So after 41234. And as we go forward
and backwards, this is not one more
time off to 41234. So if you're finding any of the exercises too
hard at this point, go back and study them, work on hand separately, then work on hands together. So I will see you all
for the next exercise. See you soon.
30. Course 3 Outro (PT1): So well done everyone in
completing this course, this is just the first
part of this course. There's going to
be a second part where we are going
to be looking at the miners and the pentatonic
scales in the triplets, quadruplets and
quintuple x. Okay? So I will see you all
in the next part.
