final part of this course, master Adobe Camera Raw for professional role
in age retouching. In this part, you will learn the row amazing editing
and processing workflow from start to finish. In this spot, we'll
take this image. First of all, what we are
going to do, first of all, we'll make some basic
adjustment to this image using the basic editing panel in Adobe Camera Raw,
we will fix it. The exposure, contrast, highlights, details,
sharpening, etc. Thereafter will
enhance its colors plus the contrast
using the tone goes. In the tone goes panel. Drafter will enhance
this foliage or these green grass
and we'll give it some pleasing look in the HSL or the Grayscale panel
in Adobe Camera Raw. Thereafter, we'll
add some details to this image using
the Details panel. And we'll be adding
the details or will enhance the details
using the full control, using the mask option in the Details panel in
Adobe Camera Raw. And thereafter we'll
make some adjustment to this image using the
Lens Correction panel. Using that Lens
Correction panel, we are going to fix the
lens distortion in this amazing like you can see
over here on this poll, this is little slanted to ours, the statue or this shanty stupa. So we are going to fix that. We are also going to fix
some chromatic aberration, which is our hair. As you can see a
little bit over here, this green line, or French, this is called the
chromatic aberration. So we are going to fix that
and thereafter we'll be using the graduated filter tool and the radial filter tool to bring out the
details in the sky. And finally, we will be using the adjustment, brush those, and burn the sky so that
we get more details in the sky and we don't get to
see this dull and boring sky. If this sounds
interesting to you, then go ahead and
join this course. And I will see you
inside the course.
2. 1-Basic Adjustments in Image in Adobe camera raw Final Chapter: Welcome to the final
part of this course. In this part we'll be
taking this raw image and we'll add it this amazed
from start to finish. Alright, so I've already
done some editing to this. So what I will do, I would first of all, remote setting or it's editing settings so that we get
start from the beginning. All right, so what we can do, I will right-click on this image and select
dwell upsetting. And then I would come over
here on this clear settings. You can see over here we have
these presets which we have created in the lecture on the presets and
the actual pattern. So if we want to
make the edit on this image with that one, so we can click
on these presets. And it is going to apply
those settings to it. So if I just click it, you will see that
now it has applied that setting or that
preset to this image. But we don't want that. We want to start
from the beginning. So I'll right-click and
select develop setting. And this time I'll come
to clear settings. Alright. Now we have the plane
starting image. Alright, so this is
the raw images stored NEF for the Nikon cameras. And if you have
the Canon camera, it would have been CDR. I think. If I just double-click it, it is going to open in
the Adobe Camera Raw, since it is Adobe Bridge. Now as you can see it, at the moment, camera
9.7, it doesn't matter. Only a little bit
interface has changed, otherwise everything is same. Alright, so now it has opened. First of all, I'll
go for the auto, as I've told you
number of times, there's most of the time, auto settings does
walk very well. In this case also, it has done a wonderful job. Alright? But I would increase the exposure a little bit so that I get to the brighter image and increase the contrast
a little bit, alright, so that we get more of the white over here.
As you can see. If I take it this side, it's getting dark and it is
bringing me some details. Maybe something around
here is little bit, sorry. Little bit plus five is fine. And let's bring down
the highlights. If I bring down the highlights, you can see over
here in this guy, we started to see some clouds, but it has taken away the
highlights from the means, the object that is
this shanty stupor. Alright, we don't want that. So I'll go back to highlights. All right, if I just
double-click this slider, it is going to go it's on
default version or make it, or take it to the 0 position. Okay, Now, let's bring
down the, or, sorry, increase the shadows
so that we get some dynamic range on
these darker areas. All right, let's increase
white a little bit. And black as well. All right. And let's increase its clarity. Maybe around then on
16 would be fine. I think. Yes. Let me zoom in 100 person. This was before the
clarity applied and this is after the
clarity applying. Maybe around then on 15 is fine. Then let me go for it in June and increase its
vibrance a little bit. That way we will be having
more saturated colors and the contrast would be
increased to LAMAs. It would look really appealing
to the eyes, alright? And if you want, you can
increase the saturation of it. Otherwise, there is no need if you are using the vibrance. Alright? So for the moment, I have used plus
three, all right.
3. 2-Fixing Image with Curves-Details-Noise-HSLand Lens Correction in Adobe camera raw Final Chapter: Now next come to the point
curve or the tone color panel. And I'll create 1 over
here and drag it down. And 1 over here and
drag it upwards. The movement will do this. You can see it has made our
colors and details pop up. So if I'll just press P, which is shortcut for review. So this was before
and this is after. You can see it has made a lot of difference
to this image. Now let's come to the Details panel or
the Sharpening panel. And we'll press the
ALT to create a mask and we'll drag it until
we see the answers. All right, and now
increase the sharpening. Let's zoom in 100% and increase the sharpening
a little bit. I think over here it's fine. And increase the
luminance little bit. So that little bit of
noise or grain is removed. Though there is hardly
any noise or grain. And as you can see, this
is the purple french, which we are going to fix soon. And that is purple french
or here as well. Alright. So now let's come
to the next panel, HSL or gray skin phenol. So let me fit in June and take the luminance of green to
RC lighter, lighter site. We want these classes
to be lighter. Or if you want, you
can bring it too dark, but that will not look good. I'll take it towards the
lighter side maybe around here. And let's take the
yellow as well. Alright. This blue or aqua, make it that lighter as well. This one also. I think this is
looking wonderful and come to the
hue on the green, take it to us, the
yellow site so that we get wonderful looking
color of the grass. As you can see now, it's looking good
if I press P or pursue this was
before and the after. Now, no need to touch
the saturation, etc. Next is the split toning. We are not going to use
that for this image. Let's come to the
Lens Correction panel and overhead on the profile, select the Remove
Chromatic Aberration and movement will do this, is going to fix
this purple fringe. As you can see. This is the chromatic aberration and
this is very hardly visible, but it has does the job. It has removed that
purple french. If you are watching
in full Azure AD, then you might be
able to notice this. Alright? So it has removed as purple French from here
and from here as well. Alright. And select the
Enable Profile Correction. And let me show you my fitting in June
or fitting in view. And this was before and
this is after ends. You can see how it has adjusted or character
of the distortion. And it has automatically
selected the camera. Nikon lens 1855 MM
basic wetlands. And you can see over here, this is the profile. If you want, you can manually do the corrections as well in distortion and vignette
effect as well. But here we don't
need to because it has automatically does the job.
4. 3-Perspective Correction in Adobe camera raw Final Chapter: But there is one more thing
that in Camera Raw 9.7, they have moved to
this perspective tool or the transform tool as a tool. It was over here. It was over here within
this panel as well. But now they have created a new tool which is called
the T transform tool. It is basically the same, but they have moved
it over here, so we'll click it. And this one is the
option for auto, so it will pass auto, it is auto apply and you can see it has
straightened this poll. Now, if I offered, you can see it is slanted
towards the statue. And if I press it, you can see it has
fixed that distortion. If you want, you can
manually play with these settings as
well if you want to. All right, now let's press the June so that we get to
see other options over here. Now, it's the effects panel. So if you want, you can add
little bit of vignette to it, but I'm not going to use it. Or if you want to add greens, that can also be done
and dehaze as well. Since this image is very good, we don't need to add
or remove the haze. So I'll just double-click
it and it will be on its default position. Gto. And camera lens calibration
don't need that. Presets don't need that. If you want, you can create
a police hits for this. So click over here
and call a GTX. Sure. It would be
applied over here. So with one just one-click
weekend, do the editing. Alright.
5. 4-Enhancing Sky with Graduated Filter in Adobe camera raw Final Chapter: And now let's come to
the graduated filter. Select this and we'll
click and drag it down. And then we'll make the
temperatures towards the blue and exposure will
bring down these settings. I have already been
applied because these were the last Lee used
settings. Okay. So if I just press this one, I can plus in green. I can adjust my pressing
plus or the minus. Or I can simply click
and drag these sliders. So I'll bring down the
exposure a little bit. Let's bring down the
contrast as well and bring down the highlights
so that we get to see some details in the Cloud. At the moment we are
not able to see it. But the moment we'll
make some adjustment, it is going to show
us that as well. Okay? And let's bring down
the temperature back to its suasion. Alright? And if you wanted to again, bring down the clarity
or increase the clarity, I think there is no
need to do that. And let's click and drag
over here. On this site. Now, might be able to see
some details in the sky. Clouds. If I bring
down the exposure too much now you will
be able to see it. So let's do the same. So we have to select the Spin. I'll select the Spin and bring down the exposure
a little bit more. I think now it's going
to look good. Weekend. Click and drag this as well
to any direction we want. Okay. I think this one is good. Bring down the exposure
a little bit more. And let's change
its temperature. And tint. Think. On the greener side, it's going to look the natural. Increase the saturation
a little bit. Select this spin as well, and let's do the same editing. Bring down the temperature, tend towards the greener site
in please the saturation. And now we see some
details in the sky and click and drag
to create one mole. And this time it's looking ugly. So what will do well
and NADH will take up the exposure equals
we don't want that much of exposure
over here this time. All right. Let's bring
the temperature back. I think that it would look good. Bring down the highlight. Let's click and drag it upwards so that it affects
little area over here. All right. I think this is fine.
6. 5-Fixing Focus with Radial Filter in Adobe camera Raw Final Chapter: Welcome to the radial
filter and click and drag. To create this old ship. Let's increase it
so that we cover the entire sample or statue. I think it's fine. And this time we have to
check this one outside. Okay, So make sure it
is jagged insights. So now it is going to
affect the inside area. Just double-click it,
increase the contrast. In Greece, the
exposure that this one gets darker or lighter and
increase the contrast as well. You can bring down the contrast, the highlights back to 0, and bring down the
saturation back. Okay. Let's increase, drag
it to a little bit upward. Increase it on
this side as well. Okay, Now let's take
the adjustment brush. I think this area is, this area got little darker. So I'll paint over here. You can see the mosque. This is the mass which
we have applied. Now increase its exposure. That it gets mixed with
the entire statue. Increases clarity. Bring up the highlights. Let's bring up the exposure
a little bit more. Contrast increased within trust. And this one is
looking good and now paint a little bit
or hair as well. That way we can make it, sorry, It's to undo it. This way. This will also get lighter. And if you wanted to create
a new, so select New. And this time bring down
the exposure a little bit and paint little
bit over here. On this side, these
little logger, little bit over here, a little bit on this guy. And let's bring up the
exposure this time.
7. 6-Dodging and Buring with Adjustment Brush Adobe camera Raw Final Chapter: Now let's create new, and this is this time we
are going to dose and burn the sky so that we get
a little bit more details. Alright, so leave the
setting as it is and start bending on these
clouds slowly, okay. You don't make sure you have the feeder to 100% otherwise, the strokes would be very hard and that would not look good. You can adjust the size of the brush by red bracket
and the left bracket, okay? So you can do as that as well. All right. You can see now the, see some details in the sky. Alright. Make sure you
do it very subtle, okay? We'll do it extra, or you'll do it more than it is required and it
will not look good. Okay. It won't look natural. Paint a little bit
on here as well. Okay, and now we will
use the new tool or new brush to create
the burn effect. I'll bring down the
exposure the string, and start painting
on the darker area. Like here in the sky over here. You can adjust the
setting later on as well. It will bring down the
highlights, shadows. Look at this. We'll take it way back towards z minus
a and we'll look ugly. So I'll just double-click to make it to the default
patient and bring down little bit around minus
five or minus ten. So that would look good. Okay, I think we are done. And if you want to
let stick a new brush and let's paint
little bit over here. This also become little
lighter because it has become little darker
and it's not looking good. And let's increase the exposure
of this area so that it gets mixed with the rest
of the picture, okay? And we get a little
bit more dynamic range on this side as well. Alright, so now we are
finished with the editing. So if you want to begin open this image in Adobe Photoshop, or we can simply press
down in that way. It is not going to open
in Adobe Photoshop, but it would retain the settings which we
have just applied. Okay, So if you want to open it in Adobe Photoshop,
select Open Image. It is going to open
in Adobe Photoshop, as you can see, it's
reading camera raw format. And it is going to open with all the settings which we have just applied to this image. And you can see it has
opened and now you can save it as a JPEG format. So from this drop-down menu, select the JPEG
format and come to the place where you
want to save it and press, save and press. Okay. And now it is saved. So if I'll just go to the
branch and I'll show you. So this is the final image
which we have just edited.
