About This Class
I would love to show you, how I paint one of my favorite subjects- galaxies!
This is a beginners watercolor class, so no experience is required. I will go over the supplies needed for this class, and show you how I paint galaxies. If you are new to watercolors, you can follow me along. If you are more advanced, I hope to inspire you!
Meet Your Teacher
Hello,
I'm an illustrator and artist from Scandinavia.
I have always loved drawing and painting. I love working with watercolors, ink and color pencils!
Joining Skillshare has really helped me improve my art. I love painting loose watercolors, but also work on portraits and drawing animals. I'm very inspired by nature!
I am currently studying multimedia design, to learn more about graphic design, webdesign and communication.
I'm currently teaching two watercolor classes, and hope to make more classes soon!

The class project will be to paint your own watercolor galaxy, using the techniques shown in the class.Â
- For inspiration see the pinterest board that i made for you.
- Please upload a photo or video of your painting in the project section of the class.  And keep in mind, that it doesn't have to be perfect to be absolutely beautiful! Just be creative, and play around with your colors.
- Tip: To paint stars you can use either a white gelpen, white acrylic paint or masking fluid. If you don't have any of those supplies, you can use white watercolor paint, but will probably not be as effective.
I hope to see a lot of beautiful galaxies, and IÂ can't wait to see what you create :-)
- Maja
