1. introduction: Hi. My name is Sarah. And today we are going to be learning how to paint clouds using procreate with just some of the people brushes. I have the colors listed on the screen along with their code numbers. If you want to go ahead and pre pick those colors now we have everything that we need. We're gonna go ahead and get started. 2. Base Sky: We're just gonna start out with a large soft brush and give a nice blue radiance this guy we would start out with a darker blue and work her way to a lighter one all the way down the page. Now that we have the two darker shades of blue at the top of the pain, we're gonna switch over that lighter blue and work it all the way up. It's green, Ian. Now we're gonna add a new layer on top of that radiant, and we're going to start painting with clouds with Nico brush and the first orange color. We're just going to start lightly, adding, in the general shape of the crowds, - we're gonna use the darker pink shades for the shadows of the clouds or the bottom sides, and on top of going to use the shades of yellow as the highlights. - Now that we've got pretty much all the colors where we want to be, it looks pretty messy. But in the next part we're going to start mixing these colors together and really refining shapes of the clouds 3. Cloud Painting: Now we're going to switch over to the oil paintbrush. We're going to slide down the capacity a little bit and try the work in small circular motions. Remember to pick up your brush here, apple pencil and tried to work in that with colors into nice puppy shape. So we're gonna work in circular motions of the top. Get that nice lost edge. But on the bottom of the clouds, you're gonna wanna work in a horizontal oy. Try to keep a nice clean edge for the bottom of the clouds. - Never . The clouds have a nice solid shape. We're going to start pushing those colors around the rest of this guy, craving smaller clouds in the distance and really try to bring the sky together into one cohesive piece. - Now I'm going back to the first layer with that, my split grave. You I'm just going to push it around a little bit. So has the same texture as the clouds. So it just fits him a little better behind it. So that's pretty much it for how I go about painting a sky. In the next video, I will be finishing up this painting, adding some things into the foreground. You finished beef 4. Extra:
