1. Introduction.: Hi, I'm Fatima off Shane, I must say that our desk, I have done you exhibitions in Malaysia, both solo and group exhibitions. And always I have done few online and offline workshops. Let's see what are the things we're going to learn in this lesson. Firstly, I'm going to share the details about what is the basic propulsion of loading your bridge. Continuing that, I'm gonna show you how to do some of the basic warm-up strokes which we're going to use to create the final project, that basket of flowers using one technique. And I'm going to share you the depth about how to block the background, what are the colors I'm going to use, and the size of the glaciers, everything in detail, vigor enough, paint a beautiful baskets. Along with that, we do not create beautiful leaves and flowers using one technique. And also how to blend the colors easily. How to add shadows and water are the colors I'm going to use to create the shadows, everything in detail.
2. Materials Required.: So let's see what are all the materials required to do our florals on position? Firstly, the surface, I'm going to paint it on a canvas panel. So it is 300 gram and a 100 percent cotton. So this is suitable for both acrylic and oil. And the size of the canvas is six by ADH. It is approximately like A5 size. And to do the basic strokes, I'm going to use a black paper. You can use any paper and brushes, one inch flat brush to block the background, and also a half inch flat brush to block the bathroom as well. And to do the tiny leaves and that the strobes, I will use a quarter by inch flat brush, timey filbert brush, and also at tiny Iran rich or you can use a tiny flat brush to add the outlines and a pilot to load up our brush. A smooth surface palette will be recommender and colors. I'm going to use the brand from reefs as well as from Liquitex basics are disagreed. You can use any brand but and make sure it is our disagreed. And what does yard to watch your branch paper towel to remove the excess water from your brush. These are lower than ME didn't select Korea to do our final project.
3. Basic Brush Loading.: Let's see how to load a brush and some of the basic strokes to do this painting. So Stefan Luria, brash, one tip with light and analytic with cadmium JD poo on any color of your choice. Make sure to start with dark color and 1 third, with a light color. Go back and forth, load your brush until you get the smooth feel. You need to load your brush properly and advice your strokes will get broken edges. The same B goes to a yellow and green loaded properly, what do at the color you choose?
4. Warmup Strokes.: Let's see some all the basic warm up strokes we need to do our final composition. Let's load up our paint on the palette. You can choose any two colors, one light color and one dark color. Here I'm using titanium white as my color, and cobalt blue as my dark color. I'm going to use my half inch flat brush. So load one tip, I mean, 1 third with the light-colored, 2 third with dark color. Load your brush well by going back and forth. Load your bridge at least three times and make sure you lowly the aggression at least up to the half of the vista. I'm more than half of the vista. So now why did the dark blue at the bottom first stroke is a flats true though this exercise, so that you can create the floral composition in a very easy way. Let's repeat the same is true whenever you do this. Holy place to do slopey. While you complete it, make your brush and illustrate them. Lift that B you will get the clean agent is true. And also if you're not satisfied with the result, you can always redo on top of that. And if you feel your brushes dry, you can touch a bit of what did with the tip of the brush. Not too much water. Just a little bit. And load your brush again. So our next stroke is like a kind of teardrops draw quad that moglich away and American Center connect all the tree. Like I told you, you can always redo on top of your stroke if you're not satisfied with the result, like if it is very transparent or if you've got any broken edge, you can always redo on top of that. Repeat the same stroke again and again to get the better press Control and you get the idea about how to do that. But Douglass True, that will definitely make you feel easy when you do the final composition. Now, our stroke is affected. It's true the same. Wie moglich, a V, and a marking center which is above that. Then you connect all these three. You will get a stroke looked like a kind of petal. You can always touch a bit of water if needed, and reload your brush and repeat the same stroke again. Let's do it one last time. The same stroke, that pedal stroke. Let's do a rose or a peony in a very easy way. So for that, let's mark a sulcus and add on that. So good, we're going to create adding Peter's. So let me show you how to do those patterns. Firstly, branch 12 bit wide and an additive with the same blue. So we're going to add faders around. That's so cool for that moglich abroad v and connect the corners. Just like this. I do. You can even do this true gleich mark drawn B and a mark in S2, which is little above that, connect all the three to get a pedal stroke. Instead of doing that like a flag straw. You can regalia branch. Let me show you how just touching a widow for my gig abroad v. And instead of. The flats stroke, just wiggle your brush. Three dimes or 234, any number of times. It's up to you. Just like a Vive, go up and down and connect the corners. Let me repeat the same stroke again. Mark like a V, V for that load your place where so that you will get the clean stroke. So the same way, moglich abroad v and wigglier branch like three days. Okay. We've got the pedal stroke. You can always redo on top of that if you're not satisfied with literacy. And also you can change the size of the petal, like marking a bit closer monks and connect them. So let me show you that how mile lake a V and a McKinsey that can enjoy the three by wiggling your bridge, the gap d tiny bit days. Okay. Are you can use the flight stroke as the Beta in the smallest size, It's up to you. So we're going to use all these strokes to create the rows or a peony. It's completely open kind of flavor. So I round that white circle, which we made using white prints and patterns. You can either use the flat stroke or the better. So complete the circle using the same stroke. Keep loading your brush so that we will get the clean stroke. And also if you feel your stroke care more like very transparent or having broken age, you can always read audio bridge and redo on top of that. So now we completed the first laid off per dose. Let's add this again layer of petals. Just add a single petal in-between two pedals in a waffle lowest layer. Complete this again layer by adding petals, the same. Once completed adding petals to this second layer. But those two, the third layer, the same V, a better in-between two pedals in the previous layer. And the size of the better will become smaller and smaller when it comes to descend upon the NFO of lovers. The same dream. Add the tiny, tiny pedals to the center of the flower. Okay, now let's do either dive off language, another type of better using the same by downstroke which we did previously. That might seem like a V and a Malkin Center which is above that V and connect all the three regard the better stroke, right? Let me repeat the same. By using that same stroke, we're gonna create another stroke. So just like this, we're gonna mark like a V and a Markin Center. Repeat the same thing, but this time we're going to have a bridge. We're going to shake a British lake, a real smart like a V and a marking center. Instead of doing a flats shown just wigglier brash, and go up and collected from top to bottom. The same way we can create an adult Beta. So that's slightly tilted to the right side, might take a v. And the miking center would be like a slanting line instead of my migraine need strictly connected by big linear brash. We will get something like this, this kind of spread. Or let's do another Beta which is like tilting towards the left. The same they might take a v and the mike incentive, which is about that V naught strictly it's like a client of little bit to connect all the three by wiggling your brush, we will get on the data. So we can use these strokes to create another type of flower. And the first thing you need to do once you've completed your artwork, you have to wash your brush completely as acrylic dries faster. And once it dries, it will become like a kind of plastic and permanent. You cannot reactivate it and definitely that will damage the crystals. So wash your brush completely. And now I'm going to use my filbert brush. This is a smile size of the wet brush. Wash your brush and remove the excess water from your brush by dabbing it on a paper towel or a flood, and load your brush firstly with the dark color. Now I'm loading it with blue, cobalt blue. And with the tip of the branch white. We can create easy tiny leaves or flowers using this brush. Are you need is just give maximum pressure and lean it towards the center portion. Our limit towards these 10, they will get a level tiny flower bud or tiny leaves. You can use it as anything you wish. And also you can use the same stroke 5 times to create a single tiny Flaubert. So these are all the basic wall of strokes. You need to practice a lot to create the final composition in a very easy way.
5. Blocking the Background : So let's paint it on this A5 size canvas canvas panel. And it is 100 percent cotton, 300 gram. And the size of this canvas is six by eight inches. So let's bend it on this leg to remove the plastic wrap around this canvas Bandung. So using the knife, be Catholic, loyalty adding it. Let's lock the background for that. I'm gonna use Mars Black bonds on both titanium, white, and yellow ocher. Firstly, let's drop some paint on a wall Canvas or you can use your palate. And titanium white, more blank, less white. I'm going to use my one-inch flat British. So let's print the colors evenly. Firstly, does take some time, enjoy the progress. Now spread titanium white and blend both the small and just blend the colors by going back and forth. I'm going to use a masking tape to divide the portion between the y and the table. That ego not place a little basketball flag was make sure your paint I mean, your bathroom dries completely before you use the masking tape. So this is that at Friends began to paint on the colors I'm going to use for the table. Our bond Tombow, yellow ocher and titanium white LED stacked with burnt umber. And alien. I'm going to use my half-inch flat rash firstly spread volunteer ambush, and then blend it with a yellow ocher. Smoothly blend both the colors. Now I'm going to add few more drops off a yellow ocher. You can either use a ballot to load your paint or you can directly loaded on your Canvas. Blended colors then until you are satisfied. Like it feels like Odin table. Just play with the colors. Now I'm going to add titanium white and smoothly blend that color. Now that we've got something like a kind of field, let's remove the masking tape.
6. Painting the Basket.: Ve got that lean body. Let's paint the baskets. I'm going to use my tiny flat brush. You can use any tiny it on bridge on. So I'm going to use a loop to draw the border for the basket bit. It's my messy palette. Suggests using that tiny branch, whatever you're using, either it is a flat brush around ridge. Pick some colors with the branch and draw the basket. The outline of the basket. If you are not confident enough to use paint, you can simply draw with benzene. So I'm going to touch a little bit of white along with that a lot. As we use more of a low or for the wooden table, it might not be visible clearly, so I added a bit of white. Let's draw the basket. Firstly, draw the base of the basket and then the side, and then go to the top. It is all gave. Your painting doesn't come on like the exact reference because you're painting doesn't need to be exactly like your reference. I'm filling the bottom of the basket with a low occur. To get the brighter, don't have a law that should be enough titanium white along with that. Just completely blocked the bad drawn off the basket. Don't rush, just enjoy the progress and with the colors, lateral, pain, rash, dance. Now I'm going to use red or could to add extra details to the basket. Using that red ocher, I'm going to do tiny, tiny strokes to create the baton on the basket. Keep loading and rage often so that we will get the clean stroke. She paid the same pattern again and again to complete the basket. Do not rush. Just relax and enjoy the progress. I had the same atom to the whole basket. Acrylic is opaque, so don't worry about the mistake. Let's add some highlights to that atoms using titanium white. Let's add some highlight to the bodies of the basket. With a little dash of titanium white and a low. Let's add some shadow using burned on Bush. I'm simply glazing the color on top of the basket. Hi.
7. Adding Leaves.: Let's add some leaves and levels in say, the basket. For that, I'm going to use my half inch flat brush. Let's load of a grayish when Tippit Prussian blue hue and another tip with medium may lieu just loaded by going back and forth. Then we use these two colors will get like four sheets of colors, yellow, light green, dark green, and the blue shade. Firstly, let's add some leaves. Yellow and the job blue at the bottom. Just wiggling my brush using the same stroke which we saw in our previous lesson. That pedal stroke. Instead of simply doing the flat stroke, BV gilded, write the same pattern we use for this particular league. Give the glossy effect to our leaves. Touch a bit of titanium white on the side of medium yellow and loaded on the ballot. And leaves that you wish to add. But make sure to add leaves in different sizes with different shades of green if possible. Keep loading average offense so that you may get the smooth edge to the strokes. To avoid the broken edges in your stroke, you can patch a bit of water with the tip of the brush. Not too much water, just solid dosage and loaded on your palette. And also you can touch a bit of titanium white underside of eluted get the glossy effect that will give us the highlighted field to our leaves. For the leaves in the band drowned, use Prussian blue hue and media may lose, or any dark green shade like viridian green, our sap green along with medium or low. And for the leaves in the friend or to give the highlighted effect, just add a touch of titanium white on the side of medium middle. That will give us the highlighted look. To avail I took Let's add some leaves in groups like an odd number, like three or five or seven like that. It's like a kind of slightly stroke or you can call it this comma stroke. Give maximum pressure and lean it towards the stem. The same way. Add a few leaves on the opposite side of the basket. Let's add another type of leaf using the dabbing technique. Make yellow on top, blue at the bottom, and just dab it like a slanting line. Repeat the same for both the sides. Add few more leaves with the same pattern. Let's add the same tape of leaves on the opposite side of the basketball sole. Gp, the same leaves on several parts of the book. Let's add few more leaves here and there. Instead of vid linear brush. Again, simply use that but don't stroke. Now I'm going to use titanium light along with viridian green to create leaves with the different shades of green. I'm using my same half-inch flat brush load one typical day teeny invite another tip fit that it didn't green, loaded by going back, unfold. If you feel your brushes dry, you can always stretch a bit of water. Little dish of water, not too much water. And leaves may be collinear bridge to damns. It will look like a client of the paint to teardrop strokes together should be the same. And you can publish two dimes or you can add one teardrop stroke. And also I added a bit of medium, a law on the side of white. Repeat the scene to the opposite side of the basket as well.
8. Adding White Flowers.: Now I'm going to use my quarter inch flat brush. And the colors I'm going to use art medium and low and titanium white. Lord, 12 fifth white and yellow. Loaded well by going back and forth, I'm going to use the same stroke which I used for the leaves in the background. And three R5 by those to create a flag. Keep loading your brush often so that you will get the clean stroke without any broken edges in our stroke. Let's add an adult level over here. The same technique. Use the same stroke to create the petals. Just wiggle your brush and create the vector. You can add any number of visitors to create a single slab. Let's add one more flower closer to the previous one. For the flavus, I used y dot, dot, dot and a blue inside. Now for the buds, I'm gonna use yellow outside and white inside. I'm just adding highlight to the leaves in the background. Let's add some tiny flowers. You can use any smallest size brush to create this tiny flowers. First, some flowers, you can add seven, but for some five petals. And for some three or one like that. It's like a group of tiny elbows together. As you pay the same to the opposite side of the basket, add some tiny, tiny flowers in group.
9. Adding Peonies/Final composition.: Now I'm going to use my smallest size, a flat dish. And the colors I'm going to use titanium white and cadmium red, the pill. Now I'm going to paint some peonies using these colors. Lord wanted with titanium white and ended up with red. Whenever you use a smallest size brush, be careful by loading. If you loaded very fast, then the colors might blend together. You can even draw like a circle like we did in our warm-up strokes. So draw a so called an add-on that you can add bundles to that. You can always redo on top of your stroke if it didn't come out well. Keep loading your brush so that you will get the clean strokes. This is a Janani which is kept behind along main peony. So I'm going to paint it like a half levels. Add a dense layer by layer, and the number of petals will be decreased when it comes to the end. And let's add another Pilani behind it. The same V. If you feel your brushes dry, then you can touch a bit of water with the tip of the brush. Not too much water. If you add too much water with a trailing in certain period of time, it may create some cracks and that will definitely disappoint you. So keep it in mind. Let's paint the flower in the friend. For that you can draw a circle and add-on that. You can add petals just like we did in our warm-up strokes. And usually the Canvas have addiction in it. It will not be smoothers paper. So we happen to redo on top of each stroke again and again. The completed adding petals to the first layer. Let's add those to the second layer. Before trying to do this. Finally, competition, you need a lot of practice with those warm-up strokes, which we saw in our previous lesson. Once took painting is like a kind of doing calligraphy. You need a lot of practice so that you will get the better brush control. So whenever you get time, keep practicing those warm up strokes, and then create the final composition that will make you easy to create them. Let's paint another peony over there. V completed adding main elements in a wall painting. Let's add some filler leaves and for love levels if needed. I'm going to use my smile size filbert brush. Firstly, wash your brush and remove the excess water from your brush by dabbing it on a paper towel or a laugh clot. Let's load a fresh lord completely with yellow. And then with the tip of the brush, Dutch dating in white.
10. A Recap / Conclusion.: So what we have learned a lot of things in this course. I hope you enjoyed this. In this lesson we have learned about from how to load your brush, which is very important in on stroke painting technique. And continuing that, we have learned about some of the basic warm up strokes. And then we create a beautiful filled a composition using the basic warm-up strokes between learned in the previous lesson. It's like we learned how to create the basket and also how to add the datum that how to add the light and shadow effect interval. I took everything in detail. I'll be happy if you share your class project in skill share class project. I'll see you soon.
