About This Class
An Introduction to the Norwegian Language
Elementary Norwegian Course at the A2 level.
It is recommended to take Norwegian A2 Part1 before you start on this course.
You will learn useful vocabulary and phrases in Norwegian.
You will learn vocabulary in connection to family life and social status.
You will learn about a special phenomenon called "dugnad" which is a kind of semi voluntary work which is not paid.
School and Education is also a topic that will be covered. And you will learn about the Educational system in Norway from Kindergarten to University/College.
Finally you will learn about important events (times) in the life of a Norwegian.
Meet Your Teacher
Hello I´m Henning Gustavsen, I´m an educated teacher from Vestfold University College graduated in 1996. I have specialization in Norwegian and English as well as special needs education. In 2000 I graduated, as a special needs teacher. I´m a member of Utdanningsforbundet (teachers union in Norway).
