1. Introduction: When I started working
with watercolors, I never knew that the output
will be so unpredictable. When we look at these
beautiful vibrant colors, we get super excited
to use them. In this class, we are
going to paint in different watercolor Polaroids
based on northern lights. This is going to
be our watercolor challenge for eight days. Hey everybody. My sense that I'm a self-taught
independent artist and a professional interior designer based in good jump, India. I'm very excited and very
happy to invite you all for this eight days watercolor
challenge classes. Absolutely beginner's friendly. And once you complete
all the aid paintings, you are definitely going
to fall in love with them. Initially, we are going
to start with how you can cut your watercolor
paper into smaller ones. Before moving towards
the final painting, it is very important to
have a little bit of practice session where we will learn the elements
and the background. Giving you all the details about the art supplies that
we are going to use. And it is very important to use the correct watercolor
paper as well. I'm the brushes that we
are going to use initially will be starting
with a basic sketch in each and every painting, we'll be talking
about the watercolors that we are going to use. I'll be teaching
you how to use a wet-on-wet and
wet-on-dry technique, which is going to
play a major role in creating each
and every Polaroid. Painting Northern Lights
is going to be truly peaceful and you're going to definitely enjoy the process. One thing that I always
tell my students is that no need to be afraid
of making mistakes. You are definitely going
to learn from that. The glasses well arranged
in a sequence so that you understand each and every
step clearly and in detail. So I'm very excited
to see all of your projects into
the project gallery. I'm really happy to share
this class with all of you without any delay and grab your supplies
and join me in this creative journey.
And let's get started.
2. Art Supplies: Hey everybody. So
before we start, it is very important
for all of you to know the correct art
supplies that you will need in this
particular class. Here I'll be giving
you all the details about the art supplies
that I'm using. And only to worry at all
in case you do not have the same art supplies you can go for any other good alternator. Let us start with
watercolors first. These are the watercolors
and that I'm using. These watercolors
are from rooster. And these are artists
grade watercolors. In case you are a beginner, I would suggest to you to
start with students range watercolors that will be
best for you initially, then you can produce
the professional ones. For this class, you will
need us as air as well, since we are going to cut and she'd watercolor paper
into smaller pieces. Then we will be
needing a masking tape to tape the side edges. This is basically a
one-inch masking tape and you will find it very easily in any nearby local stationery. Now let us talk about
the watercolor paper, which is the most important part when you are working
with watercolors. The watercolor paper
that I'm using is from Kansan and this is
300 GSM one-party LD. And the sheets on cold pressure. The reason behind using good quality of
watercolor paper is that these papers
are a little bit thicker than a normal paper. And this paper can take heavy washes that we apply
in watercolors generally. Makes sure that you
get the correct GSM for your watercolor papers. Now some basic requirements like a sharpener and an eraser. Now whenever we are
working with watercolors, it is very important to
keep a paper napkin cited by that you can wipe off
an extra amount of water. Now let us talk about
the handy stuff. Initially, you will
need assemble pencil, which I know that
everybody will be having to draw a basic sketch. Then for this class you
will need a white man. The white pen that I'm using
is from Sakura Gelly Roll. Now let us talk about the
brushes that you will need. For this class, you will
need only three brushes. The first one is a
one inch flat brush, which we are going to use to apply a background wash
to your watercolor paper. Then the next one
is a quill brush of size two brushes from Risto. In case you do not
have a quill brush, you can go for round
brush as well of size 12. Then here I have
a detailing brush of 0, which is a round brush. Basically. These are all the three brushes
that you will need. Now since water is
the major element in watercolor paintings. So you will need
a simple flask to carry some water,
some clean water. Then the next one
is a simple ruler, which is all steel edge
basically in which we have readings in
centimeters and inches. The ruler is required to cut the vice ice sheet into
smaller paintings. Then you will need a
simple color palette. So this is basically
not a color palette. I had just simply taken a
plastic lid of a container. And this is basically a little bit uncomfortable
one for me, but you can go for any other
color palette as well. These are all the
art supplies that you will need for this
particular class. No need to worry in case you
do not have the same ran. You can go for any
other good alternative. Now let us move
towards the next step.
3. Lets Practice Northern Lights: Hey everybody, welcome to the first factor session
for this particular class. And I'll be taking you
through the steps, how you can paint the
Northern Lights easily. The main element. And this entire glass
is not an lights, which you can see
in the background of these little paintings. You can see how beautiful these colors looks
in the background. I haven't experienced
nothing lights live, but I would love to
see them someday. Let me be due how you can bend these amazing backgrounds
with northern lights. So here I have my E Fi
size sheet placed here on my board and we are going to just fight stupid with
our masking tape. Simply take the pieces of your masking tape
and try to make a battle alignment
with the paper edge and simply please the masking
tape on all the edges. Make sure that you do not. Please be masking
tape and an angle. Because when we will
remove that and the end, then you won't get perfect
straight edge on the painting. Now let me please
be masking tape on the top and the
bottom edge as well. Again, I'll be very carefully aligning it with the paper edge. And once you place
the masking tape, make sure that you just simply press it with
your finger or thumb so that it sticks to the paper and no water can
pass through it. Let me leave it on the
bottom part as well. Now since we are
going to practice for different paintings in
this particular sheet, replacing one masking
deep on these enter. No need to be that much precise. You can simply place it
approximately on the center. Then one masking tape will
be pleasing for degree. I'm taking another piece of my masking tape and I'm
placing it on the center. Again, no need to be
that much precise. You can just simply take
our center approximately. Then I'm just simply
dabbing my fingers, all that get stuck to
the paper carefully. We are ready with
four different parts. Now let us take our flat brush
up one inch and I'm simply applying a ten code of water
on the forest painting area. Make sure that you apply the pin code off
model correctly. You have to make sure
that no area is left. Now again, just simply
observe in my color palette, I have simply taken some purple. Now we'll use our
brush tool and add some amount of water that it
spread evenly on the sheet. So the technique that
you are observing right now is known as
wet-on-wet technique. Since we have applied
at encode off water already on the paper and
our brushes also wet. It will spread naturally and this technique is
known as wet-on-wet. Initially, we have applied
some patches of Bhopal. Now we will add some batches of ultramarine and the
remaining spaces. There isn't a particular
method of doing this. You can do it in an actual
ray pattern you want to make. Just tried to be a little
bit careful while doing this so that you do not
make any color patches. Again, I'll be taking
some darker values of ultramarine and adding
some water in it. And you can just simply adapt your quill
brush on the edges. So this is basically
the first technique of painting the northern lights. And I hope that you
understood the first method. Now let us move towards the second painting
area AND gates. You'll find this video
a little bit faster. You can definitely slow it down. There's an option below. Now again, I'll be simply applying a ten quarter of model, which comes under our
wet on wet technique. Very carefully. You have to simply
apply a thin coat of water and made sure
that no area is left. Now, we are taking our
quill brush again and I'm taking some Bhopal
values and micro brush, adding some water in it so
that it can spread evenly. Now what we are going
to do is that we are going to make two strokes so you can absorb the first one and the second
one above that. Once they made these
little strokes, it will spread evenly
on the wet paper. Now I'm digging the
quill brush and again, I'll be taking some values
of ultramarine in it. Will be making the stroke
and the center first. And then we'll be applying the color to the remaining part. Since this is a
practice session, we are taking any random colors you can go for any
other colors as well. Green and Dramaten, or any combination of
colors that you like. I'm just taking purple and ultramarine because I
liked them the most. This is the second method of painting the northern lights. Now let us move towards
the third painting area. Again. Similarly, you have to
apply a thin coat of water with your
one-inch flat brush. Now once you are
done with applying the ten god of water, again, take your quill brush
and take Berlin it. Now this time we
are going to make these torques and a
little bit code manner. So just simply observe
the movement of my brush to be starting from the top portion and coming
towards the bottom part. B assembly tilting my
brush in a curved fashion. Once you are done with
the purple strokes, take ultramarine, mix it
with some amount of water. May be forced stroke
with ultramarine on the center portion between the two bubbles torques and then cover the remaining area. We are done. This is the third method of painting
the northern lights. Now let us move towards
the fourth painting area. Simply take again your
one inch flat brush and apply it in cold water. Make sure that you will do this particular task
in our patient manner. No need to hurry at all. Take your time and practice. This is just a simple
practice session with simple if ice ice sheet, which you can do one time, but you can also practice it multiple times on
separate papers. Now coming towards
the last technique, I have simply taken some
purple in my quill brush. And I have made three strokes coming towards the bottom bond. And one single point will
be taking some ultramarine. And again, you have to start filling it on the
middle area first. I have made these
strokes between the Bhopal strokes first and then covering the
remaining area. These are all the
four techniques in which you can paint
the northern lights. I wanted to give you a quick explanation about how you can paint
the northern lights. That's why this redo is
a little bit faster, but no need to worry
at all while we're painting the 48 paintings, that won't be the case. You can paint it with me. It's going to be
slow and steady. The videos, I didn't
deal timeframe. Now let us move towards the second part for
the practice session.
4. Lets Practice Some Elements: Hey everybody. So
we are most welcome towards the second part
for the practice session. In this, we are going
to learn how you can paint the
remaining elements. So after painting the background
with northern lights, it is very important to
paint the elements as well. That you are
painting looks given more attractive and beautiful. So here I have my white pen
from Sakura Gelly Roll. And this white pen is
basically a very nice one, which gives you a very nice, solid patch of white color. Any northern lights,
you can find a lot of stars in the sky. So what we are
going to do is that simply take your white pen and add these little dots on the darker areas of
your Northern Lights, which is basically ultramarine. And you can also add them
in the purple area as well. This is not at all difficult. You just have to simply tap your white pen in the darker
areas of the background. I hope that you got an idea how you have to draw these dots. Now, I have just simply made a little circle on the bubble
area to replicate Amon. So take your quill brush and add these darker values
of black in it. The color palette if
you're going to absorb. And I have simply made these little mountains as the fourth element for
our false painting. Now for the second painting, you can just simply add these landscape area by applying a solid
patch of black color. I'm digging some black again in my quill brush and I'm
drawing three vertical lines, which are going to
be our pine trees. Now I'm making these
little strokes on every individual line to paint these little pine
trees as the elements bodies. Second painting. This is basically a brief
idea for you all to understand how you can
practice the elements. And no need to worry
at all in case you find this video
a little bit faster, you can definitely slow it down. There's an option below,
only to hurry at all. You can just simply observe the methods and techniques
that I'm using initially. And then you can slow down the timeframe and
paint it with me. So far, the third
painting element, we are just simply
drawing a little bit of landscape with
darker tone of black. And we'll be drawing a little
house on the right area. Once you are done
with the house, we are going to paint two pine
trees on the left portion. I have simply drawn
toward the goal lines. And we'll be adding these bush, Adrian, by applying
these little strokes. Similarly, I'll be giving these little bush to
the country as well. These are the elements
for the third painting. Now let us move towards
the fourth one. Again, I'll be taking
darker values of black and I'll be making
these little strokes, which is replicating grass area. You have to use the tip of your brush or you can use
a detailing brush as well. And simply fill the
remaining portion in the bottom with
solid black color. Let us paint little reindeer. I'm starting with the
horns on the top. Use the tip of your
detailing brush and simply make these little
horns on the top area. Now I'll be painting
the face area. Time digging some
more amount of black. Move not with yours first. Then you can just simply paint the face and
the body area. You can make the
outline first and then fill it with
solid black hole. So this is how you have to make a contrast with the
background and the elements. The reason behind
selecting black for the elements is so that you can represent what is in the front and
what is in the back. Now we will be removing the
side that is simply take the middle Dave forced and
remove it very slowly. Now, I'll be removing
the side groups as well. As you can see, once
you remove this IT, how beautiful the edges looks. Let me remove the
last step as well. So the entire shaped for the
practice paper is ready. Now let us add a little bit of the do's and each,
and every element. Adding my new details will enhance the paintings
a little bit more. So what I have done is
I have simply taken my detailing brush on psi 0 and will be taking
some solid color, which is titanium bite. Now to add some depth
in the mountains, I'm just simply adding these strokes on the
right-hand side. By applying these random
strokes on the mountain, it looks even more realistic. On the second painting, you can apply the similar
strokes on the landscape area. Now for the third one, you can draw the windows of the house. I can see that white comes in a very good
contrast with the black. On the fourth painting, I have added a little
bit of strokes of light on the grass area
and on the window. I hope that you got correct idea of how you have Dupain
the northern lights in the background and
how you have to be in the elements which are
on the front portion. Now let us move
towards the next spot.
5. Lets Cut The Paper: Hey everybody. So I
hope that you've got to learn something from
the practice session. Now let us prepare
our watercolor paper. These are little mini paintings. We are going to cut an a by
size watercolor paper into little ones. Only
to worry at all. You will need only to
shade watercolor papers. I have my one A5 size
watercolor paper. And we're going to cut this
into four equal bonds. So we'll be drawing one
horizontal and vertical lines, but we will need certain
measurements today. I have my steel edge. You can use a regular
ruler or a scale as well. We'll be using the
dimensions in centimeters. Let me draw the
horizontal line first. Take your ruler and place it approximately on the center of your watercolor
paper horizontally. On the left side, put it on 0, and on the right
side we have 21. It's from 0 to 21 centimeters. Half of that would
be 10.5 centimeters. So I have simply put a
dot on 10.5 centimeters. Now simply align your
scale with TB per edge. Make sure that the
scale is parallel to the paper edge and
draw a vertical line. No need to hurry at all. Do it very carefully
and slow manner. Now let us draw the
horizontal line as well. So again, I'm
taking the scale in vertical position and make sure that you align
it with the paper. Read the scale and the
voltage are parallel. Now this is from 0
to 115 centimeters and half of that would
be 7.5 centimeters. So I have put one dot
on the right side. And similarly I'll put
one on the left side. Now just simply put your
scale in horizontal way. Align it with the paper edge, make sure that it is parallel. And then again, draw
a horizontal line. You can see we have divided the entire file size sheet
into four equal parts. Now we are going to cut
all the four parts, and this is a simple Caesar. And just simply follow the
line that we have drawn. Make sure that you do it very carefully and follow the line and proper manner because we don't want the
page to be uneven. I haven't gotten the
vertical line now let us be ours is on
the line as well. Again, I'm simply following the line that we have
drawn with pencil. Now for the second piece also will be repeating the same step. And it's done. You can
see that we have got four equal pieces of the watercolor paper
from n phi is ice sheet. And now we are going to paint
on individual painting. Now using another A5 size sheet, you have to repeat
the same process and you'll get another
four pieces like this. So it is a bunch of eight
protocol or people's ready with you and you can
paint on each one-by-one. We are ready with the
watercolor papers. Now let us start with the eight days watercolor challenge.
6. Reindeer: Hey everybody, Welcome
to the forest painting. And I'm very sure that
you are going to enjoy this first painting of
the Northern Lights. So let us talk about
the watercolors that you will need for this
particular painting. The first one is purple, and you will need
ultramarine, blue, and black. These are all the
four watercolors that you will need for
this particular painting. You can see that our
mini watercolor paper is already taped
down on my desk. Let me show you my
color valid ones. I have said that all
the colors here. You can see I have
my cup of water reading an additional
napkins side-by-side. So that began wipe off
extra amount of water. Here. I have my one inch
flat brush in my hand. As you can see, we are
going to use this to apply ten coat of water
on the watercolor paper. So simply take some
amount of water in your flat brush and apply it
on your watercolor paper. Be very magenta
and do it slowly. Make sure that you do not
leave any space in-between. Also, make sure that you have applied the water on the edges. Don't be in a hurry at all. You just have to keep calm and let the water settle
on your watercolor paper. And also make sure
that you do not apply very less amount of water because this is going to be
all wet on wet technique. If you have not taken the
practice session yet, go fast and checkout the
practice session so that you get a clear idea how you have to paint
the northern lights. You can see that
the thin coat of water is applied to
our watercolor paper. You can also get a good
idea of whether you have applied the
water correctly or non-binding the
light reflection. Now here I have my quill
brush of size two. In case you do not
have a quill brush, you can use a round
brush of size 12. That would also work perfectly. I'm digging some pople
in my color palette, adding some amount of
water so that it spreads. Could manner and our
watercolor paper. You just have to simply
mean these random patches. I'm just dabbing my brush and moving in some
random directions. There isn't any perfect
way of doing this. You can do it in whatever
manner you want to do. I'm just making a
little bit of badge on the top portion and a little
bit on the right area. You can see that the
spread is happening in the purple color due to the already applied
water on the background. And this is basically known
as a wet on wet technique. You can see I have cleaned up my brush and I'm taking some ultramarine and Prussian blue together, adding some water. You're going to absorb
my color palette. Dig good amount of
water in your brush. And now we'll be painting
the remaining spaces which are divided spaces
around the purple color. You just simply have
to tap your brush and this random manner dry
to fill in the areas. Now one thing that you
can keep in your mind is that you have to
do it a little bit faster when you apply
both the colors because the thin layer of water that we have applied initially
might be drying. So just be a little bit
careful and apply it in a bit faster way so that you can cover up the entire area with a good amount of blending
in both the clouds. I'm just filling it. On the remaining spaces. We have the entire bottom area. So you can just simply apply the ultramarine blue on
the bottom part as well. Now you can take a little
bit of darker tones and put it on the above area
by dabbing your brush. You can also apply it on
the edges and gardeners. Right now you might
not be finding it that much attractive
or aesthetic. But trust me, when
this dries up, the blend of both the colors
would look early, amazing. And in watercolors, that is also one thing that you
have to keep in mind. That color that we
have applied initially welcome one shade lighter
when it dries up. We'll wait for the background to dry and now it has dried. So we'll be drawing a basic
sketch of a reindeer. I'm using a simple pencil. You will start with
the top portion, which are the horns of the DEA. So I'm just drawing
a rough sketch which would be a little
bit helpful when we paint it with black color. So initially I'm drawing the arms on the top area
and I'll be putting these little strokes to
enhance the horns of the deal. Now, just below that we have two ears and the entire body. I'm just drawing the
face area a little bit. And then I'll be putting the
body area in front of that. If you are confident enough to paint the DR directly also, that is also fine, but it would be great
if you try it with pencil false so that you
get a nice reference. We have some grass AT are also on the right and left
area of the deal. You can draw with
pencil that also, now I'm taking
some darker values on black and my detailing brush. This is basically a
round brush of size 0, which is also known
as a detailing brush, so that you can paint
the difficult areas. Now you can see
that I have taken some darker values of black
and my detailing brush. And we'll start with
the horns of the deal. So let us start
with the left on. I'm just simply trying
to make a little stroke. Use the tip of your brush so that you can get
pen or strokes. No need to worry at all. Just do it in a slow and steady manner so that you do not
make any mistake. Since this is a very
minute Andy billing, but you have to have
some patients because in case you move your
brush and wrong direction, then you can spoil your
entire painting and you have to do the
entire process again. Painting the
background. I'm adding the little elements in the horn. You just have to make
these little branches so that it looks even
more attractive. Similarly, I'll be making these little branches on
the right horn as well. It's almost done. Now we'll
be starting with the ears. You just have to
draw the outline first and then fill in the area. Have been did the left ear. And there is one more
on the right path. You can do that as well. You're going to observe the
movement of my brush and I'm slowly filling the
area of the entire India. No need to hurry at all, do it in a slow way. And then again, we
have the neck portion. I'm just simply moving
it in a down direction, filling up the area. You can see that I have taken the solid black color and
painting the entire India, make sure that you
have more amount of color and less than water, because once the entire
black color will dry, it shouldn't look in a grid on, it should look solid black. Only. Now I have completed the entire
body of the rainbow. And you can see it
looks really beautiful. If you want the same output, you have to be a little
bit slow while painting so that you can paint it
in a detailed manner. Now we are done
with the rainbow. Now let us paint the
remaining areas, which is the grass
area around the deal. So we have a little
bit of grass on the left portion and
on the right portion. So the trachea is that you
have to use the tip of your brush and make
these little strokes. Can see how pointed
by strokes looks and it gives you a nice
effect of the grass. Similarly, repeating
the same process, you have to apply the little thin strokes on
the right area as well. More a little bit upwards. And you can do it in
a natural way also. It is not at all
necessary that you paint the same way
that I'm painting. You can you can give a different angle to
the grass as well. Again, once you are done with the outer area for
the grass strokes, which is looking really amazing. You have to fill in the area. So simply take solid black color and fill up the entire area. On the bottom portion. Make sure that you do
not leave any space. I have completed
on the right area. Now let us paint on
the left area as well. Again, I'll be taking
some darker tones of black and covering up the area. On the left portion. You can see that the reindeer
is almost dried up and you can already feel the
dark, solid black color. We do not have any kind
of Quraysh don't do it. So that's why it is
important to have less amount of water and
more color on your brush. We are almost done
with the painting. Now it is time to
add some details. Here I have my white pen
from Sakura Gelly Roll. You can use any other
good alternative as well. Now we'll be drawing
some stars in the northern lights that it
looks even more attractive. Now what do you have
to do is that you can just make random dots on the darker areas of ultramarine that would
enhance divide color. Also, you can add
these little dots on the popular area is when you have some liberty, you can draw these stars in
any random way you want to. You can have some
variation in the sizes as when you can draw some
stars a little bit bigger, you can draw some stars
a little bit smaller. There isn't any particular
way of doing this. Now you can just randomly tap your white pen and
draw these dots. I'm just covering
up the entire area. You can simply observe. We had done drawing
all the stars. Now let us enhance the reindeer. Sam just adding some
few lines on the horns. You can see that I have just
added some little lines of my pen so that it gets even a nice contrast
with the background. I have added some little
lines on the ears as well. So we'll be removing
the tape now. Be very much careful while
removing the side dip. There is a trick
and you're moving the site tape that
you can remove it and an angle so that you do not end up during your
watercolor paper. You can observe how
beautiful edges we have God, but there is a little
bit of spread of colors. This generally happens
when we do not apply the masking tape
that much carefully, but no need to worry at all. You can fix that dust. Simply take your white pen
and we are going to apply some nice bite shade on the extra color that
has come out of water. Using this white pen, you can simply finish
up your painting and give it perfect edge. On the abortion also, I can just give it some finishing
touches. And it's done. You can see how beautiful
the forest painting looks. I hope that you enjoyed
this particular painting. Now let us move towards
the next painting.
7. Little House: Hey everybody. So I hope that you enjoyed
the first painting. Now let us move towards
the second painting. Let me tell you about the
watercolors that you will need. The first one is Prussian blue, then you would need black, light green, and titanium byte. So these are the four
colors that you will need. Simply take your
one inch flat brush and apply a PIN code off water. And the watercolor paper
that is already site tamed. I have already kept my
watercolor paper ready. You can also do the same. Just simply observe the
movement of my flat brush. I'm just trying to
apply a thin coat of water on the paper. Since we are going to
paint the northern lights using a wet on wet
technique, this is needed. Let me also tell you the
reason behind doing this. When you apply a thin coat of water and your watercolor paper. And then you apply the color with some amount of
water in your brush. And thus spread of the
color is so amazing that it looks absolutely the same as you observe the
northern lights. Now I'm taking my
equilibration of size two and we'll be starting
with some light green. And you can just observe
the color palette. I have some amount of water
and some light green, and I'm trying to mix it well, make sure that there
is enough amount of color on your brush and just simply tap it
randomly on the paper. There isn't any particular
pattern or method to do this. You can randomly tap your brush, but make sure that
you also leave some white spaces because we are going to add
some darker values also of Prussian blue. You can see I have
made two batches. One is bigger, one which
is on the left side, and one is a little bit smaller. So yeah, this is how you have to just make a natural
kind of look. Initially right now
you might not be finding it that much attractive, but once it dries up, you will see the results. Now you can just simply
observe in my color palette, I have taken some Prussian
blue and mixing it with water. Now, you have to simply put the color on the
remaining white spaces, slowly tap it on the white area. We have already applied
the lighter green values, but now we are applying
the Prussian blue. I'm just trying to fill the whitespace with the
tip of my round brush. You can just simply observe
the movement of my brush. Now we will be covering
the bottom part. Once we're done covering
the white area, you can just simply cover
the entire bottom part, which is absolutely white. You can also dig a little
bit more darker values and your quill brush and add it
over the edges and corners. That will be absolutely fine. Now since the watercolor
paper is wet, you might not be finding
it that much attractive, but as it dries up, you'll see the
results eventually. Now, I have simply taken
my detailing brush and I have my black color
in the color palette. As you can see, this time, you do not need to have
that much amount of water. Try to have some darker
values of black. And we are painting
the landscape area on the bottom part
of the painting. This is not at all difficult. You just have to draw a random line first
and then you can just fill in the black color on the bottom part as
I'm doing right now. You can also observe
the movement of my detailing brush so that you do not use maximum
amount of your color. We are almost done painting
the landscape area. You can see while we are
bending the bottom portion, the background is almost dried. And you can see the results. How the blend of light green
and blue is happening. Now we are going to
have a small house on the right portion. Using my lettering brush. Again, I'll be
stopping to pin that. You can just simply
observe how we are going to paint a little house. Let us start with
the topmost portion, which is the roof for the house. So these are two slant lines, one on the left and
one on the right. So we are drawing
the outline first. Once you are done with the roof, draw two vertical lines, one on the left and
another on the right one, and simply fill in
the black color. You might be
wondering why we are painting the entire house blank and making it match with
the landscape area. But don't worry, we're going
to add some minute details which will make the entire house a little bit
more attractive. As you can see, I
have completely filled the entire
area for the house. Use the tip of your
detailing brush to paint the difficult areas. So I'm just trying to take the roof area which is a
little bit out from the walls. Let us add a little chimney
also on the right area. We are almost done
painting the entire house. Now let us move towards the left portion where we're
going to have to pine trees. So initially you will be
painting the first one, which is on the
very left portion. Now for doing this, that is a very easy
and simple technique. If you are not that much
confident enough to paint it directly to the final
painting if you want, you can do is that you can
go to the practice session, learn how to paint
the pine trees. It is very easy and simple. Practices one to two times
on enough sheet of paper. And then you can come
towards the final painting. What I'm doing is that
I'm trying to make these little strokes from the top portion and I'll be
coming towards the bottom. But now once you are starting
with the top portion, what do you have to do is that as you come towards
the bottom part, try to make the
strokes a little bit bigger than the one that you have made on
the top portion. Once you start doing this, you will observe
that you will get a nice shape of the binary. You can already see how
beautiful this looks. Now I'm coming towards the bottom part and
I'm trying to make the branches a little
bit more broader so that it looks
even more bushy. No need to hurry at
all. You can do it very patiently and in a very
slow and steady manner. Now there is going to
be another pine tree just on the right side
of defaults to one. So again, using the same
method and same procedure, you have to this
second binary as well, but this time a little bit
above from the first one, so that it looks
a little bit more bigger than the first binary. I'm just trying to
repeat the same process and we are just
painting the branches. You can just simply observe
the movement of my brush. While you are observing. One more thing that I would
like to tell you is that from a very hectic day of your Voc are if you are painting
on a part-time basis. What happens is that when we create these little paintings, It's like a stress buster. You'll feel so much
calm and peaceful when you try to create these
little paintings. At the same time, you will learn a lot of new things also. As you can see, we are done with both the pine trees and you can already see the composition
looks really beautiful. Now what I'm going to do
is I'm using my white pen. As I told you, we are going
to enhance the house. So I have just simply added ten line of my white pen on
the bulb portion so that, you know, it can get a
nice contrast and it could look a little bit more
vibrant from the background. You can also add a little
line on the chimney. Now, we're going to
paint the window. So basically drawing the window. So I'm just trying to
draw four squares. Be very much careful and
patient while doing this. As you can see, I have
drawn four squared. So it looks like that is
light coming out of findall. Now let us add a little bit of depth on the landscape area. What you can do is that you
can show a little bit of reflection of the light that
is coming out of the window. By giving these little rough
strokes on the ground area. Just simply tapping my
white pen like this. Let me tap it a little
bit on the pine tree. On the bottom of the pine tree. This is how you can add these little minute
details to the painting. You can also replicate a little
bit of snow on the trees. My adding these
little strokes on the branches of the pine trees. I'm just simply tapping it. By doing this, you can
give a nice effect of SNL. We are almost done
with the painting. Now it is time to add some details on the
background layer. We have paint in the
northern lights. So I'm just drawing smallest circle on the
Prussian blue area. So that divide gets
even more enhanced. You can see how beautiful
the moon looks. Now we'll be adding some stars. My tapping our white pen
on the darker areas. We just have to use
your white pen and simply draw some little circles. And you can tap it as well according to the size you
want for those doors. But I would suggest you not tap it more rather
than drawing circles. Now we'll be just simply
repeating the same step by adding these little
dots on the darker area. You can just observe how beautiful these
little white dots. Looking into your painting. We are almost done adding all the stars into the painting. Now it is time to
remove the side. Now once you are done
with the painting, it is very important that you remove the site team
very carefully. So try to remove it in a
very slow and steady way. Because if you are in a hurry, then you might end up during
your entire painting, be very much careful
while doing this. Remove the side tip in
an angle so that it gets detached from your
watercolor paper very easily. Without removing any
color and Depot. You can see how beautiful the
edge looks when you remove the site tip and divide water is enhancing
your entire painting. This is the last one. I hope that you
liked the painting. I'm very much satisfied
wouldn't be in dire result. Let me show you a
little bit closer. You can observe the details. This is very easy
and simple painting for your daily practice. I hope that you will try
it and I would be really excited to see your projects
into the project gallery. Now let us move towards
the next painting.
8. Snow Forest: Hey everybody. So
you're most welcome to the third painting for
the northern lights. Now let us talk about the watercolors that you
will need for this painting. The first one is purple, then you will need
Prussian blue, black, and titanium white. These are the four
colors that you will need for this
particular painting. I have placed my
watercolor paper and it's ready
with the site tip. Now let us start with a basic sketch forced
with a normal pencil. What we are going to do is
that we are going to have those snowy landscape aliens and assemble road passing by. I am trying to draw
it and lighter tone initially so that if we make any mistake,
we can erase it. Now in-between both
the landscape area, we are going to
have a little road coming towards the
bottom portion. If you observe the perspective, the road is going to be
thinner on the upper side. And as they come towards
the bottom part, it is going to be broad enough. As you can see, we have
drawn the road as well. Let me darken up the landscape
area is read a little bit. So now we'll be starting
with the watercolor. So let me take my
one-inch flat brush and let us apply a
thin coat of model on the sky area where we are going
to paint in other lights. And make sure that you apply a thin coat of water
till the landscape area only because we don't want the color to spread inside
the landscape area. It is going to be a
little bit snowing. That's what you can do
is you can use the tip of your flat brush and apply the water on the outskirts
of the landscape area. The way I'm doing right now, you can just absorb any moment. As you can see, we have applied a nice thin coat of water. Now we'll be starting
with the watercolors. I have my equivalent
rush of is2. You can use a round
brush also instead, if you do not have
a quilt brush, that will work absolutely fine. So we'll be starting with
some purple initially. What we are going to do
is we're going to make two beautiful
strokes with purple, which is going to replicate
the northern light. I have taken some Bhopal
but good amount of water in my brush and we have already
applied at encode off mater. So you will observe the
spread very beautifully. And this is known as the
wet-on-wet technique basically. So as you can see, I have
made my false stroke. And then a second
stroke just above that. You can also apply
another layer on it that you can have a
darker tone of it. As you can already see that
it is spreading naturally. This is basically the wet-on-wet technique which we have used. Now we'll be mixing
some Prussian blue and I'm using its darker values
and microvilli brush. You can already observe
the white spaces where we are going to
apply these darker values. In-between I have applied
the four-stroke and then you have to cover up the
remaining white area. On the top portion. I
have covered it now. Let us cover it on the
bottom area as well. So you just have to
follow the stroke with your brush and you can
cover the entire area. Now make sure on
that value or moving your quill brush you
do not move you up. We'll brush inside
the landscape area because we wanted, right. So that's why I'm making
it very carefully. I'm trying to paint it on the outskirts using
the tip of my brush. And also make sure that you
do not leave any whitespaces. Be very much careful and
patient while doing this. No need to hurry at all. Just make sure that the
photo that you have applied initially do not rise up
because if it has been dried, then you won't get that good effect with
the northern lights. Now initially you might not be feeling that it's not
looking that great, but trust me, when it dries up, it is going to look
really beautiful. And also one more thing I
would like to tell you is that the color that you
are seeing right now will be one shade
lighter when it dries up. So we'll be waiting for it to dry and you will see
the results eventually. Now let us start with the road. I have taken my detailing
brush outside 0, and it is basically
a round brush. And you can see in
my color palette, I have dark black color in it. No need to take maximum
amount of water in it. You can take little bit of
water to loosen up the color. And you have to simply
covered the road area. Be very much careful
while doing this. The reason behind selecting detailing brushes
so that you can paint it on difficult areas. I'm using the tip to paint thin and small areas where we have the
landscape area as well. And you can fill in the
entire color after that. Once you are done with
the outline area, again, I'm digging the darker values of black and I'm covering
the entire white area in-between. We are almost done. Now let us take some
lighter values of black. What I'm going to do is
that we are going to give some depth and details
to the landscape area, which is on the left
and right side. I have just simply cleaned
up my detailing brush. And what we are going to
do is that we are going to simply tap it on the
mountain area false. This is also going to be
like a wet-on-wet technique, supplying a thin coat of water on the landscape area initially. As you can see, I have also left some white areas in-between. The reason behind doing
it is that it looks a little bit more
natural and it will give it a nice, rough texture. You can see we have already got a little bit of grayish tone, having some white
spaces in-between. And I have taken some lighter
values of Prussian blue and I'll be simply dabbing
it on the mountain area. Since it is a
wet-on-wet technique, it will spread automatically. You'll get a nice effect. You can just do it randomly. There isn't any perfect method
or pattern of doing this. But make sure that you
have lighter tones. Have already enhanced the
entire landscape area. In case you do not find it that much easy
or you are not that much confident enough to paint it directly to
the final painting. What you can do is you can
use a rough scrap of paper on your regular practicing
book on which your practice. You can practice this
painting on that first and then you can come
to the final painting. Now let us paint the pine trees, which are the major
element in this painting. In case you are not that much confident enough to
paint the pine trees. What you can do is you can go to my practice session and you can observe how we have to
paint the pine trees. But it is not at all difficult. Just select 1 on
the top portion. You can draw vertical
lines as well. But in case you do
not want to do that, you can make these
little strokes, the one I'm making right now, start with smaller strokes
on the top portion. And as you come towards
the bottom part, you have to increase the size of the bushes that we
are painting right now. You can see how beautiful
this little pine tree looks and it also
enhances your painting. And we took Kinsey, this is how you can paint
a little pine tree. And by using the same technique, we are going to paint
some more pine trees. Let us paint one on the, the right side of the false one, but a little bit
smaller in size. So it started with lower point. There's also holds
the perspective. As you can see, how
beautiful the binary looks. Now repeating the same process, let me paint another pine
tree on the left area. This is also going to
be a small pine tree. Then the bigger one. Sam, just trying to repeat
the same process. You can observe the movement
of my detailing brush. And in case you are not
that much confident enough to paint the pine tree directly
to your final painting. You can practice it
on a rough scrape off paper first and then come
towards your final painting. Let us add some
little pine trees on the right-hand side
landscape area as well. Adding the little
minute details and answers your mini paintings. And at the same
time you can also learn certain new elements. You can incorporate these little trees
into your watercolor Polaroids on a regular basis. If you are having a very
tight and very busy schedule, what you can do is that you can take up challenges like this. Mini paintings which are based
on any particular theme. And you can practice this
paintings on a regular basis, digging up a single
painting on each day. Because this won't take
much of your time. Each and every painting will barely take ten to 15 minutes. Now in case you find your binary is a little
bit lighter in tone, what you can do is you can take some darker values of black
and you can apply it on the central portion
of the pine tree so that it looks even
more darker and dense. You can add these little strokes also on the landscape area. Now I'm using my white pen from Sakura Gelly Roll and gives
you a nice solid white color. And we are going to
paint a little moon just in-between the
both landscape areas. You can see how beautiful
this little moon looks. And I have kept it a little bit higher from the horizontal line. Now we'll be drawing
these stars. This is not at all difficult. You just have to tap your
white pen on the darker areas, which is brush and blue
basically on that divide color will give you good contrast rather than the popular later. I'm just tapping my white
pen on a random manner. You can also make these dots smaller and
bigger accordingly. Dab it on the areas where
you feel necessary. Once we are done with all
the stars in the sky, it will look really
nice and aesthetic. This is basically
a night view and northern lights are
generally found during the nighttime only. So that's why the stars will
give it even better look. Now will be removing
the side deep. Be very much careful
while doing this. I'm trying to remove the
site tip in an angle so that we do not end up tearing
our watercolor paper. You can already see
how beautiful the edge looks when we remove the tape. And now we're left
with the last one. Let me remove that as
well. You know what? I just loved to
remove the side pips. It's so satisfying. And I'm so excited to
see the final look. Yeah, this is how it looks. And let me show you
a little bit closer. You can see how beautiful
this mini painting look. And it won't take more than, more than ten to 15
minutes to paint. I hope that you
enjoyed the process and what to learn something new from this Mini Polaroid painting based on northern lights. I will be really excited to
see all of your projects. Now let us move towards
the next painting.
9. Pine Trees: Hey everybody, welcome to the fourth painting for
the Northern Lights. So let us talk about the
watercolors that you will need. But first one is cadmium yellow, ultramarine, light
green, and black. These are the four
colors that you will need for this
particular painting. I have my watercolor paper
already ready with side deep. And I have simply taken my one inch flat brush and we are applying a
thin coat of water. No need to hurry at all. Do it very slowly. This is a process
where you have to apply a thin coat of
water very carefully. This is basically a wet
on wet technique in which we are going to
apply the northern lights. Once you are done with
the thin coat of water, just make sure that you
have not left any space. Also make sure that there are
no water bowls in-between. So you can just simply
observe on the right side, I have my color
palette ready with all the watercolors that
we are going to use. Now we'll be taking our quill
brush outside AND gates. You do not have a quill brush. You can use a round brush, upsides 12, that would
work perfectly fine. We are starting
with some cadmium yellow and green together. I'm mixing it well
in my color palette, you can just simply observe add some amount of
water because this is going to be a wet
on wet technique. Now we'll be making some nice
thin strokes with my brush. I'm simply starting with
the top right corner, coming towards the
bottom-left area. You just have to simply observe the movement of my brush
and you can see how beautifully it is blending since we have already applied
a thin coat of water, this is basically known as
a wet-on-wet technique. I have made one more stroke, just below the first one, and we'll be covering the
entire area on the bottom part. That does take some more
light green in-between. You can observe how I'm
mixing the colors together. No need to worry
at all. Nothing. Lights are natural form of lights and has no
particular shape. So it does not at
all compulsory to paint the same way
that I'm painting. You can just simply follow
the steps as I'm doing. Now. We are almost done with
cadmium yellow, light green. Now we'll be filling up
the remaining whitespaces with ultramarine. Just clean your brush and
clean water container. And we are now mixing
some ultramarine, add some amount
of water and make sure that your watercolor
paper is still wet. That's why it is
very important to apply a nice coat of water initially only so that you can get a nice and blend
off mode. The colors. You can see I have taken
some ultramarine and my quill brush and now I'll be filling up the
remaining spaces. Only to worry at
all, just follow the movement of the
brush as I'm doing. And we're just going to
fill in between areas. The way we made the strokes with our cadmium yellow
and light green. Similarly, you have to fill in the area with
ultramarine as well. Also make sure that you do
not have access amount of water in your brush that will
definitely volume painting. Now you can already observe how beautiful the northern
light effect looks. And one more thing that you
have to keep in mind is that the color that you
are seeing right now, which is visible on the screen, will become one shade
lighter when it dries up. This is something you have to dig in mind value
of working with. Watercolors. Select the density of the colors that
you can apply, some darker tones on the
corners and edges as well. That looks really nice when
you remove those, I dip. Now let us add some
darker values by adding a little bit of
black and ultramarine. You can observe in
my color palette how I have blended all
the colors together. I'm just simply adding these little color patches
on the corners and edges. It's always good to use watercolors as much
as is required. So I have taken some
more ultramarine since it was finished. Now I'll be mixing it again. So take some darker
values of ultramarine, add some amount of water, and observe in my color
palette carefully. I'm trying to add
some darker values by adding a little
bit of black in it. When you do that, what
happens is that the color becomes a little bit denser
on the corners and edges. When you remove the site tip. It looks really
nice and beautiful. Similarly, I have
just simply followed the strokes that we made while painting the
northern lights. And we'll be filling up the
entire area that weighs only. You can observe how
I'm moving my brush. And you have to just
repeat the same steps. This has completely
wet, dried now, and when it will dry, you will see the output. I'm trying to add
a little bit of darker values on the
left edge as well. The reason behind using a quill brush in case you
are using a round brush, is that you can use it stick to apply these
nice thin strokes. In case you are finding
this difficult to paint, what you can do is you can simply go to the
practice session. I've explained in detail how you have to paint
the northern lights. Now after drying, what
we're going to do is that we are going
to add the elements. But before that, let me blend the northern lights
a little bit more. I'm just trying to apply
the code again on it. You can see I have a clean
brush with some amount of water and I'm just trying
to follow the pattern. I think that we can add
some darker values of ultramarine on the right edge so that it looks
even more beautiful. So take some darker
tones of ultramarine, start from the right edge and come towards
the left portion, simply follow the pattern. This will give a very nice
effect when it dries. You can add a little bit of
strokes on the bottom part. Where do we have these
cadmium yellow area? Now after drying the
entire background, what we are going to
do is we are going to take our detailing brush of size 0 and we are going to
take some solid black color. You can observe it
on my color palette. I have taken very less amount of water because we want a
solid patch of black. Now we are going to paint a
little bit of landscape area. So this is basically a
very rough landscape area on which we are going to
paint some pine trees. So you can do this in
whatever manner you want to. I'm just trying to make a landscape area by drawing
the outline for us. And now we're filling up
the entire area with black. You can see the random
surface on the top portion and the solid black
color just below that. Now makes sure that you
have maximum amount of black color rather than water because when
it will dry up, it will look a little
bit grayish if you have more amount of
water rather than color. We are done with
the landscape area. Now I'll be taking some
more dark black values and my detailing brush. And we are going to
paint some pine trees. So what I'm doing is that
I'll be locating the DDIs. May we are going to
have these binaries. So simply take your
detailing brush and draw a vertical line. So the first one is
on the left side. Then let's take one on
the sand, double-check. One more, which is of the
same size as of the false 11, which is bigger than all
the remaining three. This is how we have located
the positions of the binary by drawing simple vertical
line with solid black color. And I will be
painting the bushes. You have to start with the
top portion and you have to paint these little branches
as I'm painting right now. You just have to make
these little strokes. And when you come
towards the bottom bond, increase the size
of the branches. Trust me, this is not
at all difficult. You just have to
simply use the tip of your detailing brush and be very much careful
while doing this. In case you are finding
this difficult to paint, what you can do is just go to the practice session and observe how we have to
paint the pine trees. And you can simply learn it on a rough scrape off paper first and then come to
your final painting. You can see how beautiful
the binary looks. Now I'll be painting the
remaining three also by using the same method starting
from the top portion. And I'm trying to
just pain but bushes. As I move towards
the bottom part, I'll be increasing the
size of the bushes. Since the method is same, I have just faster than up the video so that we
can consume some time, but no need to worry at all. If you are painting with me, you can just slow down the video by decreasing
the timeframe. That is an option below. You can observe how beautiful
the pine tree looks. Now we have the last one. So again, we are just following the same method and bending
the smaller pine tree. How cute it looks. Now one more thing that you
have to keep in mind is that tried to have solid black
color in your detailing brush. Because in case you have maximum amount of water
rather than color, it will dry up and be
presenting as great. I'll be using my detailing pen, which is a vitamin basically
from Sakura Gelly Roll. We are going to draw
these little stars. This is not at all difficult. You just have to
tap your white pen. On the darker areas in the background, which
is ultramarine. You can see how beautiful
the stars are looking. You can also have some
variation in the sizes. I engage. You want the star to be a
little bit more visible. You can tap it a
little bit more. You can just simply try
to draw a little circle. You can see how beautiful that stars are looking
in the background. You can just simply
follow the steps and draw these little
stars in the background. No need to hurry at all.
You can do it slowly. Try to have an even
composition of the stars that it looks
even more aesthetic. We are almost done
with the painting. Now let us add a little bit
of snow on the binaries. So just use the same
white pen and add these little strokes on
every layer of the bushes. This is not at all difficult. You just have to make these
scribbling on the pine trees. This is basically
small zigzag line replicating snow on the trees. And we are done
with the painting. Now let us remove this. I did. This is a very interesting
and satisfying bond after you complete
your painting. So just try to remove the tape
in a very careful manner. Make sure that you
remove it in an angle so that you do not end up
during your watercolor paper. And we're done. You can see how beautiful
the edges are looking. Let me show you a
little bit closer. I hope that you enjoyed
the painting and I'll be really excited to
see all of your projects. Now let us move towards
the next painting.
10. Elegant Deer: Hey everybody, welcome to the fifth painting for
the Northern Lights. So now let us talk
about the watercolors that you will need for
this particular painting. The first one is Prussian blue, then you will need
cobalt blue and black. These are the three colors
that you will need. Isn't it amazing? I'm using my one inch flat brush to apply a PIN code
off water initially. And you can see my
watercolor paper is already ready with this idea. Just simply take
some clean water in your flat brush and
apply our ten code of bottom on the
watercolor paper, make sure that you do
not leave any space. Because we are going to have a nice spread effect when we apply the background
for the Northern Lights. Also makes sure that
you do not have any water bowls in-between. So try to have a nice even coat. This is going to be really
quick and easy painting, which I'm very sure that
you are going to like it. Now, let me apply one
more ten god of water again so that we can
have a nice spread. I found it a little bit less, so that's why I have
applied it again. Now here I have my quill brush, which is upsides too. In case you do not
have a quilt brush, you can use a round brush
as well of size 12. That will work perfectly fine. So yes, starting with some
cobalt blue, initially, tried to have some
nice darker values of cobalt blue with
some amount of water. And we have already applied at the encoder of water on
the watercolor paper. Now we'll be tapping
our quill brush, but cobalt blue on it and
create these random patches. Nothing lights are
basically natural form of lights which are having
really nice color effect. But it is an unnatural form. That's why it is not compulsory to paint the same
way I'm painting. There can be a little bit of difference, that's
absolutely fine. Dust. You have to simply follow the process and method
that I'm doing right now. It is absolutely fine
if you do not get the exact button that I'm trying to have
in the background. So now let us take some
nice darker values of Prussian blue and
paint the remaining area. I'm just trying to apply it
on the corner initially, make sure that your site tape is completely stuck to the
paper and it is not lose because that
will not give you a nice borders with
the white paper. So I'm trying to fill
in the areas which are white and just use the
tip of your brush. Or in case you're
using a round brush. The reason behind using a quill
brush or a round brush is that you can apply the
color on difficult areas. Right now it might not be
looking that much nice, but when it will dry up, you can see the outcome. That results would
be really great. This is basically a wet on
wet technique in which you give the two colors are
nice combination together. And you can see the blending
effect when it dries up. The final output will be
definitely very much different. One more thing that
you have to keep in mind when you are working
with watercolors, is that the color value that
you are seeing right now? The density of the
color basically will be one shade lighter
when it dries up. Select the pigments accordingly, and try to have your
shades and darkness. According to that. Time
digging some more Prussian blue and my color palette because I'm feeling that it
is a little bit lighter. So just take some darker
values of Prussian blue and tap it on the remaining
spaces that we am doing. Now you can see it is
looking a little bit darker than the one we
have applied earlier. I'm just trying to tap
it on our random manner. There isn't anybody color, pattern of doing this. You can just do it
in a natural way. Also use the watercolors in
the amount that is required. No need to waste the colors. Gaze it as a shortage of using. Then you can take again
from the watercolor tubes, but no need to waste the colors. I hope that you have gotten
the correct idea how you have to paint the northern
lights in the background. So you can see it has dried up and now the effect is
completely different. Now in my color palette, I have taken some black and we are going to paint
some landscape area. You can observe that I have
my detailing brush upside 0, which is basically
a round brush. We are going to use
this detailing brush to paint the remaining elements. So take some amount of water in your detailing brush and have some solid
black values in it. Make sure you do not have
access amount of water. I do have more amount of
color rather than water. Because when It dries up, it has to look
dark black, solid color. But in case you have more
water rather than color, then it will look a
little bit grayish tone. You can already see I have just drawn an uneven line initially and I'm just trying to fill the remaining area with
solid black color. Make sure that you do
not leave any space. Try to apply it in a perfect manner by filling
up all the area carefully. Now let us move towards
the next element, which is having a nice reindeer, which is on the ground
eating some grass. You can use a symbol pencil to draw a basic
sketch initially. In case you are confident
enough to paint it directly with your
detailing brush, then that is also fine. But if you are a beginner and you're trying to paint
this particular painting, I would suggest you to
do it with pencil first. Also, it is not
necessary that you write with pencil in the
final painting directly. What do you going to do
is that you can practice this on a rough scrape
off paper false, and then come towards
your final painting. Due to the background
which we are having, which is all Prussian
blue and cobalt blue. The drawing might be not
that much visible to you, but you can just carefully
observe the outline. Let me draw it with
a black pen so that you can get the exact
idea how the rain, the overlook would be fine if
you do not use a black pen, you can directly painted
with your black color. But just to show you how
I have drawn the render, I'm just giving it an
outline with my black pen. This is how the
entire AND of a look. By the way, I'm
making a mistake. This is not a reindeer, it's not having any horns. We are going to
have a simple demo here. So sorry for that. Now I'll be just simply using my detailing brush
and we are going to fill it with
solid black color. Again, I will repeat
that tried to have nice amount of color
rather than bottom. Because if you are going to have more amount of water in
your detailing brush, then when it will dry up, it will look a little bit gradient rather
than solid black. The reason behind using a detailing brush is
that you can paint the difficult areas
like the legs where we have very
small area to paint. So by using the tip of
your detailing brush, you can use very nicely. We have painted the entire deal. Now let us paint some grass
on the landscape area. Use your detailing brush and add these little strokes
representing some grass on the
landscape area. This is not at all difficult. You just have to make
these little strokes like the one we are
painting right now. Just observe the movement
of my healing brush. Now, I'll be using
my white pen from Sakura Gelly Roll gives you a very nice
solid white color. By using this white pen, we are going to add little stars in the entire background. Tied to add these
little stars on the darker area where we
have painted Prussian blue. You can have a nice contrast between light and
the dark background. You can have variation
in sizes of these does. So in case you wanted
smallest stars, you can just simply
tap your white pen. And in case you want some stars to be a
little bit bigger. So try to draw a
small circle there. Sam, just trying to cover the entire background
with these little stars. Having an even composition. You can also add some styles in between the legs of the deal. Since the background
is completely visible behind the ear as well. And we are almost done. Now let us use the
same white pen to draw little more on
the cobalt blue area. I'm just trying to
have small moon. It's not a complete moon, It's basically a half moon. Not a half-moon actually
are quantum one. Now it's absolutely your joints. You can draw a
full moon as well. Now let us remove this
IT very carefully. Try to remove it in an
angle so that you do not end up tearing your
entire watercolor paper. You can see how
beautiful the edges are looking at the painting
is really amazing. You can add these little lines in the DR and the grass also with your white pen so that
it looks even more beautiful. I hope that you
enjoyed this painting. I would be really excited to
see all of your projects. Now let us move towards
the next painting.
11. Magical Mountains: Hey everybody, so you
are most welcome towards the painting for the
northern lights. Now let us talk about the
watercolors that you will need. The first one is black, then you will need Bhopal, ultramarine and titanium white. These are the four
watercolors that you will need for this
particular painting. Here I have my one-inch
flat brush and you can see my watercolor paper is
ready when the site tape. Now we are going to apply it
then coat of water on it. This is basically
going to be a wet on wet technique to paint
the Northern Lights. I'm going to apply it then
coat of water initially, make sure that you do not
leave any spaces in-between. Also, one more
thing that you have to keep in mind is that make sure that you do not have any water pools in-between. So try to have even coat
of water initially only. I'm adding a little
bit of more water so that you can have
a nice and blend. Also makes sure that you have good amount of
water on the edges. Now let us start with the background for
the northern lights. Here I have my quill
brush of size two. You can also use a round brush that would also work
perfectly fine. We are going to start with
some pulpal initially. So I'm taking my brush, you can observe
my color palette. We're going to have
some nice dark values of pulpal and some amount of water that spreads naturally and began have on
eyes and blend of it. Make sure that you have
enough amount of water and color at the same
time in your quill brush, so that you can use the
same brush for a long-run, starting from the top portion. And we are making this stroke coming towards the
bottom portion. We are making one more stroke on the right side and one stroke on the right edge and one stroke on the left edge. You can see that the strokes
are coming towards 1, which is on the bottom part. Here in this
particular painting, the bubble is replicating
the northern lights. Now we'll be painting
the remaining spaces with some nice ultramarine. Just assembly, clean
your quill brush or a round brush in
case you're using, try to have some darker
values of ultramarine unit. And we're filling up the whitespaces and
between the bulb, the stroke pattern is same. You have to just simply observe the movement
of my girl brush. Try to cover up the white area. You can see the blend is
looking really beautiful. Also, the painting
might not be looking at much aesthetic right
now because it is wet. Once it dries up, you can see the blending of Buddha colors. Now one thing that you
have to keep in mind while using watercolors is that the opacity and the density of the color that you're
seeing right now. It will be one shade
lighter when it dries up. The density of the
gallows accordingly. Now I'm digging some more
darker values of ultramarine. And I'll be adding these amazing darker
values on the edges. As you can see. You just have to simply tap
the brush and move it in the pattern as another lights are moving towards
the bottom portion. The technique that we
have used to paint the background is known as
the wet-on-wet technique. Now the wet-on-wet
technique basically means that there is an
already applied coat of water in which we are applying another color that we
get, a natural blending. You'll get a very soothing tone of the colors when it dries up. We are almost done with
the background area. Let me cover the
bottom version as well with some darker
tones of ultramarine. You can observe how beautiful the combination of purple and
ultramarine looks together. Now once it dries up, you will see the results and
it will look really amazing. Now I'm just trying to
add a few details and between so that it
doesn't look uneven. Gaze you'll find this
particular pattern of painting the northern
lights a little bit difficult. What you can do is
you can simply go to the practice session and you
can practice it on and off, scrape off paper first and then come towards
your final painting. Now you can see
the background is dry and it looks really amazing. The combination of
purple and ultramarine. I have taken some darker tone of black and my color palette, which is solid black color. And I've used my brush
to paint the mountains. So you have to use the tip of your brush to paint
the outline first. And then you can
just simply fill the color on the remaining
portion on the bottom part. Now one more thing that
you have to keep in mind is that right to
have more amount of color rather than water
and your aqua brush this time because if you're going to have more amount of water, then the black which is visible
currently on the screen, will be a little bit grayish. Make sure that you
have more amount of color rather than bottom. Also makes sure that you
do not leave any space between the tip and the watercolor paper because when we are going to remove it, there shouldn't be
any white area left. So dry to apply the color
very nicely and carefully. No need to hurry at all. Take your time being the mountains according
to your wish as well. It is not at all
necessary that you paint the mountains that
we I have painted. Now you can see the
mountains have dried up. I have waited for that. And you can wait for that as well or you can use a
hairdryer to dry them. And the color is looking
absolutely solid black. That is absolutely fine. Now just simply observe
my color palette. I have taken some titanium white and my Healing
Brush oxide 0. And we are going to make
some rough texture on the mountains so that we
can replicate some snow. I've drawn a line in the
middle of the forest mountain, which is a very random
and natural line. And applying these little
rough strokes using the detailing brush
on the right portion. To get this nice texture
of fight on the mountains. What do you have to do is that take your titanium white and the color palette and have very less amount of water
in your detailing brush, then only you will get
this particular texture. No need to have more
amount of water that would definitely not give
you this particular texture. You can already observe how
roughly the brushes moving by adding this particular patch
of white and some areas. What you can do is
that you can have solid white on the
tip initially. And then as you move
down in the mountain, you can just make
the strokes less. As you can see how beautiful
though effect is looking. Now I'm adding a little
bit of more texture. This is basically a very
natural process of doing so. No need to worry
if you do not get the exact same results
as I'm painting. What you can do is that you can use a simple scape of paper, draw these beautiful mountains, paint them with black
and practice to have this particular texture
with titanium white. Then come towards
the final painting. You can also observe the movement of my
detailing brush and the way I'm trying to add these little textures
on the mountain. Now you might be
wondering why we have used solid black
in the mountains. So what you can see is that in the background we have
a very lighter tone for the northern lights to enhance the amount dance and have a good contrast with
the background. We have used solid black color, but it's absolutely fine
if you want to go with a brownish shade or even a
white that would also work. Now I'll be using
my white pen from Sakura Gelly Roll to draw
the stars in the background. So try to add these little
stars and the darker areas of ultramarine so that it can
get a nice contrast also. We can also add stars in the
Bhopal that is also fine. You can draw the stars
according to your requirement. There can be variation
in the sizes as well. If you want smaller ones, you just simply dab
your white pen. And in case you want it to be
a little bit more brighter, tied to have some circles
as I'm doing right now. You can observe how beautiful the stars are looking
in the background. Try to add them and
then even tone. I'm trying to cover
the entire area. You can simply observe how we
have to tap the white pen. And we are almost done drawing these dots
in the background. Now using the same white pen, let us draw a small moon, which is basically a
quarter moon on the sky. I'm trying to just fill the
white color in-between. You can see how beautiful the Mamluks and our
painting is ready. So now let us remove the tape. Be very much careful
while you're moving this. I did try to remove
the side tip in an angle so that you do not end up tearing your
watercolor paper. You can already see how
beautiful the edges looking. I hope that you got to
learn something from this particular painting and this won't take
more of your time. I would be really
excited to see all of your projects and let us move
towards the next painting.
12. City Lights: Hey everybody. So you're most welcome towards the seventh painting for
the northern lights. Now let us talk about the
watercolors that you will need. The first one is light green, then the second one is blank. The third one is ultramarine, and the last one
is titanium white. So these are the four
colors that you will need. Let us start with
a basic sketch. Here I have my simple
pencil and you can see that I have my watercolor paper
ready with the site tip. As you can see,
I've started with the left edge and I'm coming
towards the right bond, drawing the symbol horizon line, which is a little bit uneven. Then from a little bit
of the right area, we are starting to
have a road which is going to be getting brought
on the bottom side. We are just simply trying
to follow the perspective that it's thin on
the upper portion and broader on the bottom part. There's going to be
simple mountain. So this is a single mountain. As you can see, I have just drawn it above the horizon line. And that's it. This is the basic sketch. There are basically
three elements in this particular painting. Landscape area, which you
can see on the left and the right road in-between them. And assemble mountain
on the above portion. So here I have my
one inch flat brush and now we are going to
apply a thin coat of water initially so that we can paint a nice northern
light effect. Makes sure that you
apply are even coat of water so that there
isn't any space list. Now the reason behind giving ten god of
water initially in the background is
this is going to be a part of your wet
on wet technique. What happens is that
we are initially applying it in code
of water right now, and we'll be applying
the color on it so that you get a nice
blend between two colors. Here I have my quill
brush upsides too. In case you do not
have a quill brush, go further down
branch of size 12. That would also work
perfectly fine. Now on the right area and just simply observed
my color palette. I'm taking some darker values of light green in my
quill brush and adding some amount
of water so that it spreads evenly on our
theme code of water. Now using the quill brush, just make one stroke just
and the scope manner. You can observe how I have made these tools strokes and you
can already see the blending. Since we have already
applied at the bottom, there is water
already in our brush, so the color will
spread very nicely. Now I'm digging some darker
values of ultramarine. And we'll be adding these pillars in the
whitespaces which are left now. In this particular painting, light green is representing
learner than light. Again, just absorb
my color palette. I've taken some darker
values of ultramarine. And now the false
stroke you have to make in-between the two
light green strokes. And then you can cover
up the entire area. Applied ultramarine on
the top right corner. And now we'll be moving
towards the bottom left area. You can observe the movement of my brush as the stroke that we made initially via
does following that up and trying to cover the
entire background area. And you can already
observe the blend between the light green
and ultramarine type. Now, since this is wet and now you can see the
difference it has dried up. You can also observe the output, how beautiful the blending
is looking right now. So you have to wait
and give it time. Or in case you do not
have that much time, use a hairdryer and you
can dry your painting. We are done with the
entire background area. Now, I'm going to take some solid black color in
my color palette. And they are using
a detailing brush, which is basically a
round brush outside 0. And initially we'll be starting with the outline
for the mountain. I'm just trying to give
an outline initially. Once you are done
with the outline, just fill the entire area
with solid black color. Now, let me also finish it by giving the entire black
color on the bottom bond. The reason behind using a detailing brush for
this is that you can paint on the difficult
areas where you have smaller abortions
to paint on. You can use the tip of
your detailing brush very carefully to apply colors
and difficult areas. Now whenever you are
working with a black color, just make sure that
you have less amount of water and more
amount of color. The reason behind that is
that whenever you have more amount of water in
any particular pigment, whether it is black
or any other color. What happens is that
when it dries up, it will look a little
bit grayish and tone and it will not look
that much solid black. So try to have more amount
of color rather than water. Now I'm just trying to
complete the entire mountain, just observe the movement
of my Healing Brush. I'm trying to fill the color for the people who are on a regular basis and have
a very hectic schedule. And a non-metal time to practice and paint
on daily basis. For them, this watercolor challenge would be really great. Because these mini paintings won't take much of your time. At the same time,
you will very much improve on your painting skills. Now, I'm just starting to paint the solid black
color on the road in-between the two
landscape areas. Again, I have done
the same technique. I have started with the outlines fast and
then we're filling up the central area in case you find the color a little bit stiff and not that
much easy to paint, then you can add portal, but make sure that it is
innovating minimum quantity. By adding a little
amount of model, the brush movement will be
a little bit more smoother. You can see we are done
with the road area as well. You can observe that the road is enough perspective manner. On the front part, which is on the bottom area, you will find the road
a little bit broader. And as we come towards
the mountain area, it is getting very much tin and vision that is basically
due to the perspective. Now what I've done is
I have simply cleaned my brush and add some
amount of water. And we are going to add these little strokes
on the white area on the landscape that we can represent a nice
texture for this, no. There isn't any perfect or
particular method to do this. You just have to randomly tap your brush the way
I'm doing right now, you can observe the movement
of my day dealing brush. You can already
see how beautiful that extra looks
and it gives you a nice effect of snow
on the landscape area. Now similarly, on the
other landscape area, which is on the right portion, you have to repeat
the same process. I'm just rubbing
my Healing Brush, trying to add some
beautiful texture pattern on the landscape area. We are almost done doing that. Now what you can do is that you can simply use your white men. The white pen that I'm using
is from Sakura Gelly Roll. It gives you a nice
solid white badge, as you can see on the screen. What I'm doing right now is I'm trying to replicate a little bit off City area which will
be having a lot of lights. So we are just trying
to have a combination of 423 dots or more than that. But try to have it in a line because generally street lights are placed in a
symmetrical manner, but it does not
at all necessary. You can place the dots in
a random form as well. I'm just trying to
tap the white pen and trying to replicate a
little bit of City area. You can see how beautiful the white color looks
and it is giving a nice contrast on the background because the
mountain is absolutely black. Now we are done
with the City area. Now what we'll be doing is
that using the same white pen, we can just simply add a tiny moon just
above the mountain, have some space
between the mountain. And then you can just
make a small circle, fill it with a
solid white color. You can do this with white titanium color as
well from watercolors. Are you can just simply draw
it with your white pen. That will be also fine. Now using the same
byte when we have to replicate some stars
in the background, which we'll look at really nice. I'm just tapping my white pen on the darker areas
in the background, which is basically the
ultramarine one. On that. The stars will look
even more vibrant. But you can also add some on the light green,
not as also fine. You can have the
variation in the sizes. If you wanted a starts
to be tiny and small, just simply tap your
white pen and engage. You wonder, starts
to be a little bit bigger than you have to
draw a small circle. You can see the combination
of stars that I am drawn. There are some stars
are a little bit bigger and some are a little
bit tiny and small. So that's it, it's done. Now what I'm doing
is that I'm taking some lighter tone
of ultramarine, adding some amount
of water in it. You can observe in
my color palette the way I have taken it. This time, what you
have to do is try to have more amount
of water rather than color because we want
some lighter tones on blue on the landscape area. The reason behind doing is that small is
generally white only, but to enhance the
landscape area, I'll admit, and this is
basically a painting. That's why we are adding
some amount of blue. You can see how
beautiful it looks when you give a nice detailing area, the landscape portion, you just have to simply tap your
brush on the bottom part. Again, there isn't any
particular method of doing this. You have to just randomly
move your brush. And we're done. Now use your detailing
brush of size 0. Again, that same one
which is around brush basically have some
diazonium bite in it and make sure that you have solid white color and
less amount of water. Now we are trying to
enhance the mountain area. So what I've done is
I've started from the tip of the mountain and
we are going to enhance it, replicating some snow by
adding these little patches, which will give a nice effect of snow and having a good texture. This is not at all difficult. Just make sure that you
do not have access amount of water in your detailing
brush in case you have just tap your brush on
the tissue paper and you will remove the excess
amount of water and you'll have more amount
of color in your brush. And as you can observe that I have given the batches
and texture on the right area of
the mountain so that we can give it a
nice 3D effect as well. Let us add a little bit of texture on the left
portion as well. So try to have the patches
in our minimum area only don't make it too
much because then the mountain won't
look that great. Now we are done with
the entire painting and it looks really amazing. Let us remove the tape. Be very much careful
while removing this. It. Remove it in an angle so that you do not end up tearing
your watercolor paper. You can already observe how beautiful the edges are looking. Dressed me, this is the
most satisfying part. After you finish your painting. It's very peaceful when
you remove the tape. I'm done with the
last one as well. And our painting is ready. Let me show you a little bit closer so that you can
observe the details. I hope that you
enjoyed the painting and want to learn
something new from it. I would be really excited to
see all of your projects in the project gallery
in case you have any questions or doubts related to the painting or
the techniques used, feel free to ask it in
the discussion section. I will be truly happy
to answer them all. Now let us move towards
the last painting.
13. Snow Land: Hey, everybody's who
are most welcome to the last and the final bending
for the Northern Lights, which is painting aid. Now let us talk about the
watercolors that you will need. The first one is Prussian blue, the second one is purple. Then we have black
and titanium white. These are the four
colors that you will need for this
particular painting. As you can see, my
watercolor paper is ready with the site. Now you will need us in bold pencil to draw the
basic sketch forced. That does start with the
horizon line forced. The bottom part, I
have just simply drawn a rough line
which is not straight. You can draw it in adults
and random manner. Now let us draw the mountains. The mountains are generally
having a very natural form. Again, dry it according
to your way also. This particular painting,
we are going to show some eyes on
the ground level. So I'm just trying to draw it. You can just observe the
movement of my pencil. Now once we have drawn one line, we are going to repeat it again so that we can show
some level difference. And yeah, that's it. This is the basic sketch and
that you will need, and I hope that it
is not difficult. You can draw it the
same way I have drawn. It is absolutely fine if you
have some minor difference. Now let us take our
one inch flat brush and apply it in coat of
water in the background. Since we are logging on a wet on wet technique to
paint the background, drive to apply it in code
of water very carefully. Do not leave any whitespace. Makes sure that the code is even and do not have any
water bowls in-between. Now no need to worry at
all in case the water is a little bit in the mountain
area because we are anyhow, we're going to
paint the mountain completely black. That is fine. Now I am taking my quill
brush outsize tool. And in case you do not
have a quill brush, you can go further
down brush of size 12, that would work perfectly fine. Initially, we are taking some
darker values of poeple. You can observe
my color palette. I'm adding some amount of
water in it so that we can get a nice blend of the
colors in the background. Now we are ready to paint the
purple in the background. And you can already
see we have applied at the encoder of water
in the background. This is basically a technique
known as wet-on-wet. So now I'm just trying to
apply some patches of Bhopal. Again, there isn't
any particular pattern that you have to follow. And other lives are generally
a natural form of light. So you can do it in any way. You want to try to leave some white spaces in
which we are going to add Prussian blue so that we can define the Northern
Lights very nicely. I have made two nice patches
of Bhopal, as you can see. Now you have to
just simply clean your brush and add some darker
values of Prussian blue. I'm just adding a
little bit of water and we are just trying to mix it well in our
color palette. And I do have enough amount of color in your brush tool that you're going to cover
the entire area. Now you can already observe
in our watercolor paper the Bhopal is nicely blended with the water in
the background. Now apply the Revolution
lu in the remaining area. Tried to use the tip on the difficult areas where you
want to blend the colors. Now I'm just trying to cover
the top right corner first. And then we'll be moving
towards the left area. You can see where we
have difficult areas. You can use the tip
of your quill brush, or in case you are
using a round brush that will also work
perfectly fine. This is the reason behind using this particular
brush so that you can add colors to the
difficult areas nicely. Right now it might not be looking at much
aesthetic to you, but since it's wet, when it dries up, you can
see the results very nicely. The blend between
both the colors. I'm just trying to
add a little bit of water where we have the meeting on both the colors so that we can get a nice blend. Now you can just simply
observe how I'm trying to put my brush between
the two colors. Blend is looking
really beautiful. Now you can observe
the combination of Prussian blue and
purple together. Now let's wait for it to dry. In case you didn't know how to. You can use a hairdryer or you can let it dry naturally only. Now we'll be starting
with the next segment, which is the base
area where we are going to have some icebergs. I have simply taken some Russian blue and add in more amount of water so that we can get a lighter tone of it
other than more color. I'm just trying to cover the area you can
observe the pencil line has already visible drive
to fill the color inside. This would be the first step on which we are
painting right now. Then we have a level difference. Don't paint between
the two lines. Be very much careful
by doing this. Use the tip of your brush to paint in the difficult areas. Now let us add a little bit of more water and make it a
little bit more lighter. Now I'm painting
the second step. I'm trying to use
the tip of my brush so that there isn't any mistake. Finally, the last one, not only to Wudi
in case you have got your color inside the lines, it is absolutely fine. We are going to
paint black on it so there won't be any problems. So it is not going to be visible once we apply solid
black color in it. Now in case you
want a little bit of texture on the ice surface, what you can do is that you
can simply use the tip of your brush and add these
little strokes on the edges. Once it dries, you can get a nice effect on
the entire surface. Now let us start by
painting the mountain. So I've taken some
solid black color in my color palette
as you can observe. And we are having a
detailing brush outside 0. So just simply try to start with your detailing brush
on the above version. So I'm trying to draw
the outline first and then we'll fill
in the entire color. Now one more thing that you
have to keep in mind is that whenever you are
working with black color, tried to have more
amount of color and less water because
when it will dry up, we do not want to have a
light gray shade of it. We want us all in black color. That you have to make
sure that you have wood density of color
rather than water. Can already observe that we have somehow got a nice
shape of the mountain. Now I'm just trying
to fill in the color. And it will be fine if you take some amount of water for us
mood moment of your branch, but don't take it in
an Access amount. One more thing that
you have to keep in mind while working
with watercolors is that the shade or the density of color that
is visible when it's wet. It'll be one shade
lighter when it dries up. Joules the gala
density accordingly. And also the reason
behind selecting a detailing brushes
that you can paint in the difficult areas by using the tip of this
particular brush. Now we are almost done
painting the entire mountain. Make sure that there
is no space left. That light watercolor paper that is in the magnum
is not visible. Now let us paint the
level difference time taking some more darker
values of black. And we are going to
start with the left. And I'll be simply coming
towards the right portion. And you can just observe
the movement of my brush, how I'm trying to use it. And also you can see how we are utilizing the tip
of the detailing brush, since it is very thin and
difficult area to paint on, but it is absolutely fine. The detailing brush will
be really helpful to you. Let us paint another
level as well. Now the steps are very
much clear and visible. This is how the landscape is my link from one
step to another. And then we have
the mountain area. Now what we are going to do
is that you are going to add a little bit of detail by using the same detailing
brush. What do you have to do? Take some solid
black color and add these little lines
near the steps of things that we can
add a little bit of detail and it will look
really nice and aesthetic. This also acts as certain amount of
texture and the steps. We are almost done
with the painting. Now it's time to add some more details so that it
looks even more attractive. Now here I have
my white pen from Sakura Gelly Roll and gives
you a nice light color patch. We are going to
paint a little bit off nice and small moon. You can see I have
drawn a small circle. And you can see how
beautiful the moon looks with a nice contrast with the Prussian blue
in the background. Now using the same white pen, you can draw these little stars and the entire background. I'm just simply dabbing my light pen on the
background area. You can have a
nice difference in the sizes according
to your requirement. In case you want to smaller
stars and tiny ones, then you can simply tap
your white pen randomly. And if you want them to
be a little bit bigger and then you have to
draw a smaller socket. The stars are more vibrant and visible on the darker
background as you can see. Now, simply repeat
the same process. Died who have an
even composition on the stars in the background. That will make your painting
look really nice and good. And we are done. Now let us use our detailing
brush again. And I have taken some
titanium white in my color palette if
it is visible to you. Now this time, what
do you have to do is that tried to have very less amount of water
in it and more color. And we are going to
end the mountain area. What I'm doing is that
I'm just trying to make these little strokes on the top of the mountain
which is the tip basically. You have to apply these
little texture on one side of the mountain only so that it looks and gives a
nice 3D effect. So this is not at all difficult. You just have to apply these little patches case.
You'll find it difficult. What you can do is that you can go to the practice session, practice this on a
rough scrape off paper first and then come towards
your final painting. Let us add some more details on the left portion of
the mountain as well. Now we can see how
beautiful the mountain is looking rather than
a solid black color. We have added some value to it. Now simply removed as I dip, be very much careful valuing
this and remove this item in an angle so that you do not end up during your
watercolor paper. You can already observe how beautiful the edges are looking. This is also one of the most favorite parts
of my embed video moon, this idea, it is really
very satisfying. We are ready with
the entire painting. Let me show you a
little bit closer so that you can observe
all the details. I hope that you enjoyed all the aid being things
more than, than light. I will be really
excited and happy to see all of your projects
into the project gallery. In case you have any
doubts or questions, feel free to ask it in
the discussion section. And don't forget to see the final thoughts for
this particular class.
14. Final Thoughts: Hey everybody, this is the first class from
rest off all my classes, which is based on a
watercolor challenge. This is somehow very
much especially to me. You have no idea how unexpected the outcomes can come whenever you're working
with watercolors. So try to explore them
as much as you can. In case you do not
get a great output. And only to worry at
all, keep practicing. As an artist. If I have to give you a best
advice for your art career, then it will be that
trying to maintain an art journal in which you
practice on a regular basis. Whenever you get some
time doing this, you can always rectify your mistake and
improvise on that. Also, this helps you
to keep a record of whatever you have learned
in art till date. I hope that you enjoyed
the class and got to learn something new and
creative from this. I would be really excited to see all of your projects into
the project gallery. Feel free to ask any
doubts or questions you have related to the class
and the discussion section. In case you're on Instagram, do tag me, I go by the
name shutdown foundations. I would love to
repost your work. Thank you so much for joining my class and happy painting.
