1. NFT Course Trailer: At first I thought entities are just stupid JPEGs for 95% of the projects out there. That's probably true. However, this doesn't mean that there's no opportunity out there. Early adopters of LFTs are a lot like the early adopters of the Internet in the 2000s and also of cryptocurrencies in 2015, there is generational wealth to be meet. My name is z and for awhile now I've been trading and investing in LFTs, sometimes successful, sometimes not so much. And my goal is to teach you all the things that I know and actually help you avoid my mistakes. The course will be focused on flipping. Nfet is on open sea. But in the meantime, you will learn a lot more about the space and how to navigate it. We're going to start with the basics. So what is an NFT water, its implications, what are the market conditions that are favorable for treating? Also, we're going to look at the tools. Then we're going to dive a little bit deeper into fundamental research and how to differentiate good from bad projects. And at the end, I'm going to show you different trading strategies that can make you successful in the long term. This space is super fast moving and I cannot wait to start teaching this class. So let's jump right in. 2. 1.1 The Rule of 100: Before we dive deeper, I want to share with you a rule that I designed based on my experience in the empty space, I call it the rule of 100th. And in simple terms, it means that you need to spend either 100 hours researching or research 100 different NF2 projects. And the most important part of this rule is that you need to do this before you start investing any kind of money into entities. Why is this so important? The space is so wild and you might start feeling so much formal that you want to throw some money here and they're indifferent. Nft projects, it's super easy to invest and it's that easy also to start losing money. I made plenty of mistakes when I started with LFTs, I for mode into early in different projects. I invested in projects that I didn't do my research and I was waiting for someone else to tell me what to invest in. I bought the top of the market and then I didn't sell. And hours back holding and actually awesome project, I'm still back holding those first NFT is that I bought. There were so many other mistakes that I could have avoided by just simply putting in the hours and the work for several days, maybe even several months in advance. Trust me, if you put in the hours, you're not missing on the space, everything is moving so fast and they're new and new opportunities coming every single day. So don't formal and just spend the time learning. Invest in yourself first and you'll see that after that you have a lot better experience in investing in FFTs. And obviously one more thing that I need to mention is that everything that we discussed in this course is not financial advice. And I always advise you to do your own research, whichever the projects or whoever grew tells you to invest in it, make sure you do your own thing, and then you realize why you want to invest in this project. And that's the recipe for success in the space. 3. 1.2 What's a NFT?: Let's start with the basics. What exactly is an NFT or a non-fungible tokens? Many people, when you hear this, they think of entities like stupid JPEGs, just like this one. But behind the art, there's a lot more to LFTs. First of all, we're mainly going to talk about a theorem and if tesol doors that are hosted on the Ethereum network, but do you have any of these on Luna and also on diesels and on Solana, there are many networks that have NF Ts on their blockchains, the same way that you can have different cryptocurrencies as tokens on the theorem there. Like for example, a theorem classic is a token. You can have many different LFTs and usually the code for them is ERC 721. This is just for informational purposes in order to treat enough tissue will not really need this information when the beauty of it and the power of any of these behind this. And why I'm saying this to you is that every NFT creator and every single nFET is on the blockchain, so it's absolutely transparent and traceable. Absolutely everything that is happening to this token. In the case of this collection, which is doodles, it's a very popular blue-chip NFT. You can go to either scan by just copying this address or by just clicking on it. And you'll be able to see for the doodle token how many entities are there and also every single transaction on those LFTs. When was it from retry address to which one? And so on and so on. So this is very transparent and that's one of the most powerful tools that you have on the blockchain and of LFTs as a property, you can do absolutely the same width, the specific NFT. So if you go down to the history, you just click here on the dates and you'll be able to see on this exact transaction of this NFT, who bought it for how much? When did it happen? What was the price of a theorem at that time? And so on and so on. Another powerful feature of each NFT is that it's one over clients saw usually in a collection of 10 thousand entities, which is kind of the typical collection for an entity. Projects like for example, Doodles have what, 10 thousand and if T is created and they have different traits, but every single NFT has a specific trace that no other NMT has. Actually the combination of those traits is unique for this exact NFT here on properties on open seat, you can see how many other entities are there with this background, with this body, with this face, with this hair, and with this head. And if you actually click on any of these, it would give you all DNF t's in this collection that also have this feature. But the combination of all of these is a unique one. For this specific NFT, there will be no other entity like this. And the last point which I believe is probably one of the most powerful features that an entity can have is that behind it is a smart contract. And you can program this smart contract to execute certain things. And one thing that is very important is the royalty that the creator. So in this case, do though LLC will receive for every single sale of the NFT, you might say that you own the entity, this is your property, but when you're selling it, so for example, this person last sold it for, for Ethereum. This means that he paid probably around eight to 10% commission on the project itself. So the project makes a lot of money by selling NFS and actually by people reselling those LFTs. In short summary, what are the three key features of an nFET that it's non-fungible, so it's unique. Every single one is one over one. The second one is that is traceable. Every single transaction lies on the blockchain and you can see what has happened to this NFT. And the third one is that it's programmable saw behind it, there is a smart contract and you can have different options and features that you can add or remove from this NFT function. Now let's dive a little bit deeper and let's look at the applications in the real-world for NFT switch are quite exciting to be honest. 4. 1.3 Applications of NFTs: I think the future of so many industries will be disrupted because of entities. We have so many applications. But in this video, I just want to go through some of the basic ones that I've seen and I think are very exciting. And to be honest in the future, we don't know how this thing will develop. Maybe we'll see some crazy developments in the space and it's pretty much will be walking around with a bunch of entities or loss for absolutely everything that we need to do. We'll see for me personally, it's very exciting and I just want to show you some of the basic applications of entities in this video. The first one is access to a community. So every time you buy an entity, usually they have this court's like this one. This is the discords of Roboto switches one of DTFTs that I own. And so you have different channels. And here you can verify your Roboto, which should be in your wallet. And we'll go over this in detail later in the course. And then you get access to different channels. So it might be for verified collectors only or there might be some giveaways for collectors sense, you might win some whitelist ports or anything else. There could be a contests only for this. There is also very popular groups that provide alpha, which we're going to discuss a little bit later. But basically this is information on different projects in DNA empty space. This is specifically for this group and then within the community. So for example, if I own a specific type of Roboto, like for example, a Roboto cyborg. Or I can have a different community within the Roboto community which is constructed of people that have cyborg, I think came from analysis. There are only a limited number of such type of rum bottles. There were only 3% of the entire collection, though. This makes it more air and within that community, maybe people who are providing more value. And you know, you can have like even life meeting center. It just creates this narrative of yes, we're together. It doesn't matter where you are. Maybe in the same country. You are arranged some kind of a meeting of Roboto and bet I think it's a very fun parts of the ecosystem. Another really good application is fastest, and the latest example of this is vain or sports pass. This is something that just launched when I was recording. In short, this is token created by Gary vena, took a very popular guy and the space, and he's offering different passes for future events. It's not very clear yet what this will represent, but basically, these will be passes for sports events. So for example, exclusive access to tickets for games, or maybe even you, you won't need to buy tickets. You just short DNF GNU will be entering, let's say a football game, or maybe exclusive events with players and you'll be invited to a dinner or something. Really powerful tool to unlock the community behind a team sports, or maybe a musician or a group or any kind of artists. And this gives exclusively to the holders of such passes, but also gives the power in the artist's hands or in the club sport, in the sports coupe. In this case, it interacts very specifically with the community and also to actually monetize the community. And that's one thing, that is the next application for NFT. A great example of this is Slumdog teaser, huge innovator in DNF DSpace. And he launched his last album on the blockchain. And in this case he using gallery music, which is just another blockchain that offers musicians the ability to create benefits and so on. So Snoop Dogg created an album which is an entity, and it has different books. And again, it will be with exclusive access and maybe some additional benefits like owning the rights to the song that you bought from the album. So you'll be able to use it for whatever you want, or maybe some other benefits, like participation of different games within this gala ecosystem and so on. And also very important for the creators in this case, is that they're cutting out all the middleman. So especially in the music industry, most of the money are made by Spotify, by the producers like Virginia and Sony, and so on. And for the actual singer, or in this case wrapper, the return on investment is very small. So that's why they have to do a lot of tours so they can have more income coming in their waste. None that they are not doing well in general. But still they were making a very small percentage compared to the older man his dad is generated. In this case, there are no middlemen and Snoop Dogg can charge, let's say, five or 10% royalty every single time that his song as an NFT from this album, sales and all those profits or those commissions go directly in his pocket. So one, he's making money from the initial sales I think on this one humid like several million dollars like 40 or $50 million. And then you get royalties without cutting it into commissions with other people. And at the same time he's providing something unique for the community that decided to invest in another very powerful application of LFTs. And I think this is what really made them very popular, is the social status. We are people that liked blink. We like to have like a Rolex or a Mercedes-Benz because it's telling other people's stuff about us, that we are rich, we have these capabilities and we have style probably in the digital era in the 21st century, I think more and more of these luxury goods, we'll be moving to the digital so, you know how big the universe is. That broadly, at some point we'll be living in these virtual worlds and the NFT saw the connection to it. So if you have, for example, aboard the ape that I have right here, this thing right now is the cheapest board on the market and it costs $370 thousand or 111 Ethereum, that is an insane amount of money for an entity. But this NFT specifically tells a lot about you. If you have it, for example, as a profile pic on Twitter. And some of you might say I can just right-click save it, then just upload it to my Twitter. That's true. But you won't beginning all the other benefits and because of the blockchain, this is easily verifiable. If you are the actual owner of this board, the ape. And this unlocks a lot of possibilities for flashing people. For example, this community, especially as very strong and if we go to their Twitter, you will see that all the time they're sharing pictures of people with t-shirts, for example, even like paint, not paintings, but they have framed their LFTs, they have hoodies and even I've seen snowboards and all kinds of physical wearables that are again, flashing people and telling them, I have this 8-bit costs this much money. And I'm part of this community, and this is in the physical world. So on top of using your app in the metaphors at some point, you can also do this in the physical world and it's just increasing your social status. There's a great example of a project that this exactly this. So it's a DMK Tf and it pretty much creates wearable like shoes and bags for people of popular projects. For example, this specific one right here is a cool cats. Deepak and cool cats are a popular NFT project which is considered blue-chip. Another very great application that I believe is the future is something that is called like startup investing or in general tokenization of physical properties. So for example, if you have an apartment building and it's a really great location and you want to find new investors. You can tokenize it. And the NFT can represent, for example, a flat in this building. So if I'm an investor, but I don't want to, or I cannot invest like 20 million in this building. I can buy a token, or even the token can be even smaller and not even one Apartments. Just one apartment could be like five or six tokens. And then I can partially invest in this and potentially make money as the value of the property increases and more and more people want to invest in it and want to buy part of this property. This will open the doors for many, many kinds of retail investing because right now, for example, if you want to invest in a startup in the United States, you have to be an angel investor. You have to have at least one or 2 million net worth. And then you need to be generating one or $2 million per year, which is a lot of money. So a very limited number of people can afford to be angel investors. But width and if t's, I believe it could unlock a lot of possibilities on this front, and I'm pretty sure that we are going this way. But I think it will take some time because these big industries like for example, real estate, they're not very innovating. And that's why there will be a learning curve which I believe is a little bit longer compared to the 16 year-olds that are training those entities right now. And that's why I think it will take more time. But in general, they're very, very exciting applications as you can see. And probably there are a lot more out there. And I'm very excited about the future and to see how this space will develop. 5. 1.4 Terms We'll Use: In this video, I want to go over some of the terms that we'll be using for the course. And you might not be familiar with because there are very specific for the NFT space. And the first one is floor. This basically means the minimum price that are NETs Salesforce. So if we go back to the board, the ape yak Corp example in this specific NFT, you will see that here we have a list of all the apes that are on sale and they're in this collection. But here on top it says floor price and currently it's at 111 ethereum. Currently there's no cheaper board ape on the market. The second term that we're going to use is mint. And this is basically when you have a brand new project which is still not out. So the entities are not created. When you have a mint, you're pretty much creating those LFTs. And you can also on your own, pretty much create an NFT, which could be done even on open sit. And you will be minting this entity once it's meant that that's it, it's created, it's one of a kind. It's on the blockchain and it has all the features that were coded in its smart contract in the background. The next word that we're going to use as a review. This means that sometimes there are projects where the launch, so the mint and in the next week or so, they haven't revealed their art. And let me just show you an example. This is beans official launch. And they have already meant that all of their LFTs, and as you can see, all the pictures are exactly the same. So this means that they haven't been revealed yet. Projects do this just to create a little bit hype around the project. So for example, one high point is the mint, so you get a lot of volume. And then after a few days or a week or a month, it really depends on the project. When they decide to reveal, you get another bump of volume on the review process. And then this is the moment where you see if you actually have rare ones or something that it has properties that not many of them have. And currently you can see this. It hasn't had all the properties that you see, usually on an nFET. And we're going to go a little bit more in detail in this. But for example, if you compare it to a review board deep here, you see that it has all kinds of different features. Another term that we're going to use is whitelist. Or you might hear allow list or even capitalist, or if there's some kind of other animal on the project, they might include a funny word that ends with list. Basically this means that it's a new project and you are on the list that it's allowed to mint before a public mints. In other words, you get an exclusive access to minting before everyone else. And there are different ways that you can get on a waitlist that we're going to discuss this separately when we talk about minting new projects. But basically this is a whitelist. The next one is a birch auction. You can also Google Butch auction and see what it means. But people use it on new projects just to make more money. Pretty much Dutch auctions work like this, so they start at a price, let's say one Ethereum. And there is a rule that every, let's say 30 seconds or 30 minutes, the price goes down with zero-point one Ethereum. And during this process, the people are bidding How much are they willing to pay for the minting of this entity? So someone might have formal and pay one Ethereum, some might be very patient and just wait for the price to drop. And base 0.5 with Theorem, let's say after a couple of hours, it really depends. I think this is very favorable for the projects because the play into this formal elements, and especially if it's a hyper project, it's very hypermobility that it will sell off very quickly at the highest price. And this is where projects make a lot of money. Trust me, we will look into specific examples of lacZ auctions, some abbreviations that we are going to be using as PFP, NPV, NPV B. So PFP is pretty much a profile picture. So they're NFT projects, that's their first utility is to be just the profile picture in the background. Yes, they might have different features, but they have been designed as a profile picture. Pv and PvP are more part of the systems like a metaphors or a game that you can be playing with your NFT. So PvP, player versus environment. So this is more for a metaphors. And PVP is player versus player in simple terms, you just get in the game with your NH2, load it, and you can shoot people with it and just interact with the environment or with the player against you. Another term that we're going to be using is liquids or liquidity. This is pretty much the Ethereum that you have. Liquid in your wallets that you haven't already spent on LFTs. And that is very, very important in this space because if you don't have money to spend, or in this case, a theorem to spend. You cannot do much because you might be stuck with some entities. And remember, they're not very liquid. It's not easy to sell an NFT, like it's easy to sell a token, for example, a crypto token. The market dynamics are a little bit different and that's why it's very important in new here, this everywhere. It's very important to have liquidity in or in other words, just a theorem in your wallet that you can spend on gas transaction fees. In general, TBI LFTs.com at a good price. These are the main terms. They'll probably be more while we're going through the course. But if there's something new, I will just stop and explain it right there. 6. 1.5 People to Follow: In this video, I want to go over several people that I'm following and have helped me immensely to learn a lot about the nFET space. The first one is Gary vein or trick. I don't know if you've heard about Gary. He's a massive celebrity in the NFT space, and he has his own entities and I think now he's preparing to launch a second collection. Overall. Sometimes he drops. And if t Alpha, for example, he really likes a project and Hugh analysis on his Twitter account and then this project will bump. So definitely make sure to follow him. And if you can stand all through the other posts that he's posting, turn notifications for Gary V, because he's a great human being, but also he provides a lot of value for the NFT space. A few other people that have helped me a lot are kosher. As you can see, he actually shared the last video from Gary Vee. He has his own NFT group with alpha and width waitlist. He's also building wagged MS studios, which is like an information or trauma or 4D NFT space in general, I find him to be very interesting and very honest when he talks about things and very straightforward, not a lot of ********. Like some of the other people. Another one is Britain Malinowski, I hope by pronounce his name right. He's also partnering with kosher on the wagon MS studios project. He also has his own NFT and as he's actually very focused on NFT building. So as you can see here, he's creating the nFET Academy. Let me just zoom in a little bit. This is an empty project that is helping others build their own LFTs. And if you're interested in this, definitely give him a follow. Another guy that recently blew up is champ Crypto. Here's providing a lot of free alpha. He also has an Alpha past and He's quite active on YouTube. He has his own channel, and he's providing a lot of valuable information. Sometimes it's a little bit of a BS to be honest, but I think it's great to have a post also on his opinion and know what he's thinking because his quite big influencer, he has a 130 thousand followers on Twitter. Banksy is also a person that is investor and collector of LFTs. And she's quite popular. I think it's a she don't get me wrong. Haven't seen this person in-person. But she's providing also a lot of valuable information about different projects. And she's buying a lot of NF2 is also in sometimes she drops alpha on the project that's, she's buying. If we go to YouTube, the NFT Alpha are people that I really enjoy. They also have their own NFT projects obviously, but they also have a podcast on LFTs and it's free to watch on YouTube and it's very valuable. They talk about different people. They're not the greatest NFT investors. And I loved the fact that the til it themselves that they have a lot of banks that they're holding and a lot of unsuccessful traits. And I think that's very valuable because somehow everyone thinks that in the empty space you would just make money instantly and you'll be rich forever and ever. But that's not usually the case. Another guy that I really enjoy his job and I'm actually part of his NFT wizards group. He provides a lot of valuable information on trading LFTs and flipping them short-term, definitely go check him out. Also, Lama worse, he boasts very rarely on YouTube, but he's quite big on Twitter. It's NFT lambda2, eith his account. And he's providing a lot of alpha for free. He has a great NFT project that has, I don't know, like two or three eat floor currently. And he's really focused on building this community and actually helping a lot in the NFT space. I really like these kind of people because they make the whole experience a lot more valuable, especially in the early stages that we're in in an empty space. What you can also do because there are so many other people that you can fall is to just go to, let's say NFT ulama and click on the people that he's following. There are also many other people like bulk buys a mirror is pretty basic maths crypto, ran Script or also he has a very popular alpha group and it's very limited. I think only a 100 people have access to it. You can go check these people out and make your own conclusions. Obviously don't follow blindly anyone, but just see how they think what they're looking for and just gets the most of every free information that they're providing. 7. 1.6 MetaMask Setup: In this video, I want to go over setting up your digital wallet. And in this case, we're gonna use MetaMask, which is probably the most popular one. But do you also have Coinbase wallet and bunch of other wallets? I definitely recommend using MetaMask for Ethereum NFT trading just because it's compatible with pretty much every single website and you won't have any issues connecting to those websites either for selling entities or minting or staking and all the other things that you can do with entities that we're going to later discuss before we even set up the MetaMask wallet, I would definitely recommend to have at least Mina mask wallets and make sure they're set up onto different browsers. This way, you can diversify your portfolio of LFTs once it grows a little bit larger. And also this will be another safety feature while you're trading. And if T is because there are different websites, not all of them are secure and there are many scams in the space. And you can have just one Berliner wallet that you can do your degenerate trading and you can have another wallet where you keep your NFT switch or long-term holds. Now let's go through all the steps. First of all, you go to the minimum mask website and make sure you write it correctly. It's MetaMask.io. And then you just click Download. And in this case I'm gonna use it for a Firefox. So I'm going to install it on my Firefox. It sends me to the browser add-ons and I just add it to Firefox. I followed the steps, I click ads, and I wait a little bit. And here on the right corner on top, you're going to see this little orange foxy, which is the trademark of MetaMask. And then you click, Okay, and this will be your setup window. Now we are starting with a brand new fresh wallets and we'll just click Start. Here it asks you, are you new to MetaMask or do you already have a MetaMask and you want to recover it? So in this case, we're going to go with create a new wallet. The first thing that you'll see that MetaMask asks you to help them improve and I always quick, no tanks. And the next window you'll see is to generate your passwords. You have a minimum of eight characters that you need to put, I would advise to create a very strong password is a basic rule of thumb in security in general, you should create a very strong passwords and obviously don't share it with absolutely anyone. So let's just type in a password and the next step that you need to take is to set up your recovery is secret phrase. There is a short video, but for now we're gonna skip it. And now you can see this window right here where you're going to be able to see your secret recovery phrase. That is super, super important part of the setup of any kind of wallet. This recovery phrase is basically your safe key, so you shouldn't save it anywhere on a digital device, not as a picture on your phone or somewhere on your computer. The two best ways to save those types of words is either by memorizing, which I believe it's dangerous because you can forget these are just random words and it's pretty easy to forget with time. And the second best way is to have it somewhere on a paper so it's stored away from hackers. Yes, you have the real risk of someone coming into your place, Robin, using this password and using it on a different device. But I believe it nowadays this is a lot lower risk factor then if you have it stored on your computer and someone digitally can break into your computer and steal it. So let's review our recovery phrase. And this will be a burner wallet for me and I just want to show you absolutely everything how it goes. So if I click here on review, you will see all the words that are in my recovery phrase. So I will need to write those down somewhere. And once I have done this, then I can click Next. And now Matter mask will ask me for confirmation. So I need to align all the words that are here into my secret recovery phrase the same way that they were originally arranged. Let me do this really quick for you. Here's the recovery phrase. Then I click confirm and congratulations pretty much that's everything. Now, you have a little window that pops up and it just gives you some explanations. This is basically your wallet. And if you click on the icon right here on top, you see this pop-up. And every time you login to your browser, you will need to use your pass code to enter into MetaMask. And if we go, for example, to open see right now, in order for us to buy or sell any kind of LFTs, I will need to go to this profile icon right here, and I just click on Profile and then it tells me how do I want to connect to open C. So in this case we're going to use MetaMask, but as you can see, there are other options too. So I click on my layer mask and here's the window that it pops up. It asks me for connection to open C and you always have these prompts before you do any kind of purchases will go in detail further in the course. And I quick just next and connect. Now I will be connected to open C and this will be my profile where I'm going to see all the transactions in everything and this is my wallet address and so on. As you can see again, when I click on the icon here on the top right, this is basically the interface of my wallet, but let me just open the website interface so you can see it a little bit better. It's pretty much the same right now I have 0 a theorem as assets and I have obviously no activity in the transactional step. So you can buy sand, swap your ethereum, and in order to put some money into the account, you just need to go on any exchange, copy your accounts number, which is this one right here. And then you can send a Ethereum or other currencies to your MetaMask. There are many other things that you can do here and there are many other currencies that you can add. But for the purpose of this course, we're just going to stick to Ethereum, and that's everything for the setup of MetaMask. Let's go to the next video. 8. 1.7 NFT Market Cycles: In this video, I want to go over something very important and interesting. And that's the bull and bear cycles of the NFT market. We have very limited data at the moment of recording of this video. But I think it's very interesting because it's inversely correlated with the prices of Ethereum and crypto in general. Let me show you what I mean. So the first thing that you see on top here is the monthly volume of open seats in dollars. And on the bottom here, you have a direct snapshot from the price of the same period of Ethereum. The very first thing that you should notice how early we are in NFT is look at the middle of 2021 pretty much there was no volume and it is just started exploding in August 2021. Depending on when you watch this video, it could be very early. We're quite early in the NFT space right now. Or it could be already an established market niche. And if we start comparing the bars, you'll see that for August, which I believe represents this monthly candle on a theorem right here, we have a big green month on Ethereum, but this was way below the old-time, higher over three, which was around here, around $4 thousand at that time. And as the price of Ethereum was increasing in these months, you can see the downtrend in the volume on open. See. Now you might ask yourself, why exactly is this? Well, the explanation is simple since on Open see mainly we're training on a theorem and if t's, once the price of a theorem starts rising, this means that the dollar value of these entities will start going up. So more and more people will want to take profits. So if you own an entity and it's to Ethereum, ethereum was at $3 thousand and now it's certainly at $4 thousand. You'll be more tempted to take profits and sale DNF t. At the same time that this happens, there's less and less new buyers coming in because first they see the increase of price of a theorem. So they are like all these entities are getting quite expensive. And also they would prefer to stay in a theorem because they see the gains in the price once the trend on Ethereum was reversed. You can see very clearly here we have the biggest two months in open sea volume when they were the biggest to read monthly candles, own ethereal saw people around this time here, we're thinking a theorem is going down. So I'm not going to sell because I might be in loss already because I bought the top of a theorem. What else can I do with my ethereal? Well, I can buy some LFTs and try to flip them for profit. And this way I compensate for my losses in the price or since I'm not planning to sell my theorem, I will find the way to compound it fairly easily and keep in mind that during these couple of months the market GOT really overheated. So it had a very nice boron, something like encrypt or you have four year cycles and the price usually goes through a bull and bear cycle during this period. But in entities, everything is super fast, so you can have a boo embarrassed cycle within a few months, as you can see here from the graph. The main reason for this is that the market is very new. We're talking here about less than a year of proper volume. There's not much liquidity on the open sea market currently, a daily volume of OpenCV, which is considered very high, is like a $100 million. Once more volume starts coming in and more participants are joining the NFC markets. I believe that this will stabilize and we won't have those fast boom and bust cycles. But for now for people that are early, you can definitely take advantage and this will serve you so good if you go through so many cycles so fast that you'll be an expert in LFTs and just like half a year or so, one disclaimer that should be made is that since this is very early, will know if this negative correlation will be true in the future. Probably if we have a proper crypto bear market and while everything is selling off, if ts will also start sealing off, but I am expecting at some point once crypto stabilizes and finds a bottom, then I believe that DNF tea markets, we will again start pumping harder than crypto when all the panic is settled and people start looking for a better return to what crypto Kane provided that point then if T's are great too for this, that is everything for this video. And let's move to the next one. 9. 1.7.1 October 2022 Market Update: The entire NFT market space is in shambles, so we're down together with the crypto markets. And actually, as you can see here, the volume on open sea has dropped significantly from a cliff. And I would say we're getting in the depths of a true bear market for lefties. In the last video, I discuss how we might see a negative correlation between a theorem and LFTs. And whenever we are in a downtrend on a theorem, you can see more people looking into NFT is to kinda compound there eith, while the market is down. However, this is not anymore the case and we're not seeing this relationship. I'm going to leave the video that I'm talking about just because as I mentioned, the market is so new that we're all learning at the same time while it is developing. Is this the bottom? To be honest, I don't really know because first of all, as you can see, the daily volume on open seat for the past few months is still trending downwards. And if we had back in July, Days of over 20 million in trading volume, nowadays, we have on average of around ten to 12 million per day. And this corresponds perfectly with the uncertainty and the levels that we are in the price of a theorem. As you can see here, we're in a bear trend for quite awhile. Already. In the past several months, price has been very choppy and it has been keeping the structure of higher lows. However, the good part is that we're still holding this law of around thousand dollars. And I think this is also mainly because of the march that caused little bump here, but now we're just in the middle of nowhere and we don't really know if this will be the bottom of this bear cycle. So taking all of this in mind, I'm still very bullish on NFT is in general. And I'm pretty sure that all of the things that we're discussing in this course and that you are going to watch. We'll apply 100 per cent in everything that's going to happen in the future. Actually, I think it's the best moment to really get involved into LFTs. Because nowadays there is no stress of having the next mint trying to flip this or that NF2 for ten x profit right away in the bear market, everything really slowed down and you have the time to learn and to research different types of projects without having the formal that you are going to be missing. The opportunity of a lifetime to make life-changing amounts just tomorrow from one NFT. Trust me, when I say this, I've seen such cycles play out in crypto already several times. And usually the people that actually learn and invest, like you have done with this course, are going to be profitable in the long term. And I really going to make the big bucks compared to all the other newbies. They're going to come on the top of the market. And actually it makes the things for research a lot easier because before that, in the Bull Run, we had all kinds of project that sound at all exciting and that maybe, you know, they have some potential, but now all of those weeds will be taken care of and there'll be like 95 per cent down from the highest. And you will see if the team is still building, if they have left the projects or if there are some good projects that are still in the top ten or 20 and maybe it's worth researching doors and start accumulating them. In other words, in a bear trend is much easier to spot the people and the projects that will outperform in the future. And that's why I'm very excited about this moment in time. I will make sure to both regular updates on what's happening on the markets and how I see things developing in the NFT. In the meantime, I think while you're watching this course, It's great to research the top five or ten projects in the NFT space, because potentially these will be the biggest winners in the next cycle. And actually you have the lowest risk of them going to zero. 10. 1.8 Popular Scams: In empty space is full of all kinds of scams and hacks and it's really, really dangerous out there. In this video, I want to go over some of the most popular ways that hackers try to scam people and to give you some tips and tricks on how to stay safe while you're trading in NF2 and while you're diving deeper into this entire ecosystem, one of the most popular ways to scam people is on this court, since every single empty project has a discord and these discourses are kind of easy to hack and I'll tell you why in a little bit. But also there are a lot of people in there, so they're trying to build community and some people have, these communities are not well-wishers at all. One of the most popular ways to scam people is once you join a discourse, and in this case, I joined the cool monkeys, this court, which is an NFT project. They send you a private message. So this is usually a boat or someone that is a hacker and it's set up everything in a way that looks legit, looks like it's someone from the project. So in this case, their name is cool monkeys bought and they have the same picture. They will try to send you a DM direct message once you join their Discord, and then they will send you something like an exclusive offer, limited sale life is right now they will have a link for you. There'll be some kind of scarcity, maximum location or Justinian and empties. It's the VIP club. It sounds really cheap and they have links to the discord and to the official Twitter page. So it looks legit when you see it at a first-class. However, if you go to their website and try to meet this, this means that they will connect to your wallet and they will have access to your wallet because this will be a fraudulent website, not the official site of cool monkeys. So the first rule of thumb is to whenever you're drawing a discord server, you just click right here and you go on privacy settings and you disable your direct messages. This is the very first thing that you should be doing on every single nFET project. The next thing that you should know is that in general, because of all these camps, normally from the project will actually send you a direct message or try to contact you in any way. It usually everything is communicated through the announcements channels of these NFT projects. So once you see here, this is the cool monkeys, this course, you'll see that they have minor announcements. Announcements. They might have also official links, which is very important. And all kinds of other, other channels, including one that says scam alerts. Once you start getting into the empty space and entering some discord, you'll be in plenty of discourse. Trust me. They always have this kind of scam alerts. And that's why it's great to be in different this courts. Because they're giving also tips on how to deal with these cameras. And if you just keep track of this, I think you'll be also on the safe side. So let's go back to the official links. Always. And I mean, always when you're trying to mint, when you're looking for open see links. Always go to the official Links channel and use only those links also for Twitter, for absolutely everything, this is very important because if you just type it on Google, there might be hackers there and they just create the same website with a similar URL. And if you're not too careful enough, you can just land on the website that it's not officially of this NFT project. However, there's also another risk that be honest, I'm not sure how you can protect yourself. But quite often, actual NFT channels get hacked. For example, this means that, in this case, cool monkeys might get hacked and their admins could lose access to their Discord. Or somebody can break in with their password. And if they don't have like two-factor authentication, and this means that they can change those links and again, send out links, which sends you to a website where they can connect to your wallet and then steal all of your ethereum and nFET is on that wallet. I don't know how to protect yourself of this, but in general, look for red flags or if you're looking to mint a project or to just create new entities, we're going to discuss this a little bit more in detail in the future. Usually these are the most vulnerable Discord servers because there's a lot of hype in this project and people are trying to actually hack them. Because everyone's excited about the myths and the creation of these new LFTs. If you see something that it's not exactly appropriate according to the other announcements that they will be making, for example, that they're minting on the 5th. And then suddenly they say No, no, no, We're meeting on the third and here's the link. Go do it right now. It definitely if there's sense of urgency, double-check everything and probably it's better not even to rush and double-check everything. I'm also part of different other communities and usually we get signals when some kind of a discord of an NFT community is hacked. So it's definitely well worth your time and investment to just go through different discords and have many, many connections because they help you stay safe and the space. Another popular problem that you might face is actually on open sea. And if you just type the collection, for example, drones is a new one that is transferred from Ethereum. You will see that there are a few titles right here of, of collections. And usually when you have a new hype collection, there might be several drone is collections in this case which are fake and pretty much they do exactly the same. So once you go and try to meet it, that's not the perfect example because this is probably just random collection. But anyway, if you get such a kind of collection with the same name and if you just buy their LFTs, they will just lose value because they are not the actual NFT project. There's some kind of a duplicates project which are there just to take your money and run away with it. So again, the best way to protect yourself is to go back to the official Links channel and only click on those links. Another way that I have seen hacked this course is through different boats. Usually, if we go back here to the channel, you can see that you have a collab land join. This is a very popular website. Basically it verifies that you're a human being, that you can join the server. And after that you can see all the channels here on their Discord. And these boats might get hacked. So what you have to do to verify yourself is to go to collaboration. It says here, Let's go and right now it's failing. But usually it's tangent to a website where you have to connect your Discord and so on and so on. So if this boat gets hacked, they can send you to a website of a collab land, which is a fake one. And then again, they can connect to your wallet and your volume. Again, this is kind of tricky to protect yourself from it, but just be aware of it. And in general, they save and don't connect your wallet to any kind of websites that are not legitimate. And even if you do, you can go back to your MetaMask right here. And you can go to the three dots here on the right corner. And if you click them and you go to connected websites, you'll be able to see all the sites. They're connected to your MetaMask wallet. And I think it's good practice to disconnect the websites once every few days or so in this case, I'm just connected to open sea. But if there are other websites for meeting or whatever else you're doing with your LFTs. It's best to disconnect regularly so you don't have any problems if any of these websites gets hacked. 11. 2.1 OpenSea Overview: In this section we'll go over open sea and how to manage the whole platform. What are important things that you need to know about it, and also how to execute buys and sells and what are the related fees and basically how to be able to treat on Open see, there are a bunch of beat tools that you can use to help you deal with everything that's going on and to make sense of the market. But the goal of this course is to first to teach you how to do absolutely everything without additional tools because you might be just starting and you might not have like half on a theorem to spend on a good tool. And you still can make absolutely everything, or almost everything I would say on open sea for free is just that. It takes a little bit more time and a little bit more manual labor. But I believe it's very important to do this and to go through this process so that you know all the basics. And then once you get more advanced, you can start adding tools to your NDT training experience. This is the homepage of open see. Right away you can see that there's the top collections will go to this and trending, this is also very important. So pretty much this means what are the collections right now with the highest volume? Here, you can start picking up collections that are on the rise. So for example, Gary v's path, which I discussed in one of the other videos, is currently on trending, but also an old collection which is little lemon France, is on trending source. Something must be going on there. And you can later research and see what's up with this project. Here on top. I always go to stats just to see what is going on like water the top collections by volume right now. Currently it's a zucchini. It's a new blue-chip that has gone insane in the past weeks and months and later down the list you can see other projects beings is a fresh mint. And then you have the board apes. You have the doodles, which are blue chips. Let me just zoom in a little bit. You also have the crypto banks, will the women, budget penguins added us and so on. So this is sorted by volume, but you can also see pretty much the blue chips of NFT space right here. Another very important tab is on stats. You go to the activity and here pretty much you can see a live, every single buy and sell on opens. The way to use this is pretty much to check if there is a collection that is standing out and you'll start seeing more sales or more listings also then compared to everybody else. So if you've just spent like half an hour staring at this and you'll be able to see if they're repeating projects all the time. This means that on the sales tab, you'll see that this means that they're more and more people buying this project. So there will be eating up the floor and potentially the price will be increasing. And this could be at the first signal for you if you're just minute by minute here to find a blade that has volume and maybe by early into the hype and sell later for profit if we go to a specific collection. So let's just pick, for example, mutant APR clip. You'll see that on the page on the top, you have some statistics about this collection. So what's the name? It's always great to have a blue check. This means that it's verified collection and it's quite popular across also other platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. And the basic stats that you have here is the number of items in this collection. Then you have the number of owners of the collection, the floor price, and the total volume traded. And a very easy trick that you need to be applying is to just click on the floor price. And it's going to list all the LFTs for sale by their price starting with the lowest. You can also do the same thing from this panel right here and just click Buy Now. And whenever you're looking for things to buy, you should always, always quick by now because this means that these are the actual entities for sale because otherwise there might be some in the collection that are not for sale. Like for example this one, there are bits for it and someone might try to buy this, but the ulnar hasn't actually listed it. Or it could be another type like an auction. So this also is included, for example, this one exactly is on an auction currently, but yeah, always tried to have by now and you'll be able to see the floor price. When we're looking at the floor here, you can see different options. So you might list it by higher to low, low to high witches are preferred for me and I pretty much almost always use this. And then you can scroll down and see how thick the Floris. So in this case, if 2060 theorem is the minimum price for our mutant ape, you can see that there are only four apes, 56 six-eighths that are at 26 something a theorem. And then we go up to 27 and then a few more apes down the road. And we're both to 28 Ethereum. This, as you can see, there were more listings on 27 Ethereum. And of course, whenever you click on an NFT, you can see its properties. What is the current price? What's the history of this? Like if it has offers, what were the listings that this person was making? Also, you can see the properties. Which collection is this? Other with more details about the collection. And here you can also see the full history of sales. And I think you can also add listings and bits and just have a very good history of everything that has happened to this NFT. And if we just remove listings right now, you'll be able to see that somebody minted this, and seven months later they sold it for eight Ethereum. And currently this thing is on sale for 27. Ethereum last year was around 20 0.5 Ethereum. Something really important about open seat is that it's also called Broken see, because many times when they're high volume of trades or mints, it tends to go down. And we don't know when this happens or what are the reasons nobody gives you this explanation, but just be aware of it. It's not the highest volume platform by far, but it's not the most reliable. I think open C should be working on this. And hopefully by the time you watch this in the future, they would have found solutions because there are major news that they just announced. Like for example, there'll be adding Solana NF2, which means just more volume. It's more complexity to the system. And I really hope that the find the solution because they're the biggest marketplace and they want to be the Amazon of NFT training, but they need to find solutions to those issues. 12. 2.1.1 The New Interface: In this video, I just wanted to give you a quick overview of the new layout that opens the implemented just when I finished the course and I uploaded it. But it's pretty much similar amperage sure that you won't have any problems navigating with whatever we have already in the course and everything still applies to open sea. They haven't changed that significantly. And if they do, if there's some changes, I'll definitely make sure to let you know guys and to just update the contents. Now everything is here on the left you can see, and we have the keys that also items and activity are right here. And if you just click on activity, you will see of course, the sales. And if you want to click on the listings to, you can do it from here. And if we go back to atoms, you can select here by now. Again. Of course, if you click on the floor price, it will still give you the floor price. And by now tick selected. You can hide this menu from this right here. So just quick, we'll hide and we'll make it a little bit cleaner if you don't have to navigate. These are the most significant changes when you're in the ape. In this case in the NFT, it's pretty much the same. It's not any different. So these are very, very small changes, but just wanted to make sure that I show them to you and you're not scared when you log into open scene, you see something a little bit different. 13. 2.2 OS Fees : In this video, I want to go over the fee structures on open sea. And although this is information you can find on their website, when I was starting in LFTs, I didn't do this. And it's super important to understand because they're a little bit of a tricky moment with fees and they can pile up if you don't have a lot of liquidity to spend. And every time there's a transaction or anything else, you have to be like 30, $40 for gas fees. This could eat up your capital very fast and it's great to be aware of when you pay fees. And that's why I want to go over this and show you some tips and tricks on Ethereum gas fee specifically on open sea. So first of all, we'll go to the recurring fees. And this is when you are accepting an offer, when you're transferring an NFT, When you are buying an NFT, you're canceling are listed then FT canceling a bit, converting to wrap, Ethereum and some others. Why are these important? So first of all, when you're buying an nFET and there are websites that we're going to look at later and they're tracking what is the gas price right now, how much you'll be paying for gas? For example, if you are doing training during hours that the United States are also online, the gas phase can go through the roof. Or for example, if there's a project that is meeting right now, this can also generate congestion on the network of Ethereum, and this can also increase the gas fees. You can always check what are you going to pay for gas before confirming the transaction. And I'll show you how to do this when we go through the buying and selling of NFT. But right now it's very important to know that it really depends when you're treating and this will decide also what your gas fees will be. Very important point is that when you accept an offer, you pay the gas phase, but when you are making an offer, you are not paying for gas. So that's why I really like making offers. And you'll see this as a tactic when we go to the training section. But pretty much I swapped some a theorem for wrapped, a theorem which is pretty much the same thing. But you need wrapped Ethereum to start placing some bits on different LFTs. And there'll be a small transaction fee whenever you change from a theorem to wrap a theorem. But then when you start making offers, you can make them a little bit lower than the floor price. For example, if someone accepts, you don't pay the gas fees, which is a very cool feature and you need to be aware of this. Same thing if you're canceling bits or a listing, something that you put up for sale and you want to cancel the listing, you are going to be paying gas fee. So be aware of this and you have to really go through the process why you want to seal this entity? For how long do you want to put it on sale and all those things to avoid excessive being of any kind of fees. All of these gas fees should be fixed with a permanent solution when the theorem 2 comes, if this will happen this year or next year, or maybe by the time you're watching this, this might not even be applicable. But it's great to understand how the system works right now and I'll keep you updated if there are any changes, I'll try to make a video and make sure that with a theorem 2 brings significant changes. You'll be also up-to-date. 14. 2.3 Floor Evaluation: In this video, I want to show you how to evaluate the floor on every NFT project without using any kind of software or tools. There are plenty of goods softwares that can tell you a lot of information about the floor prices. But for now we're going to use only open seat and tried to make sense of the floor. You're going to use the collection world of women galaxy as an example. Let's just jump right into it. So here in the summary, you will see that the floor price currently, according to OLPC, is one-point for Ethereum, we also have information about the items in the collection, the owners and the volume traded. These three we're going to discuss in separate videos, especially when we talk about the research process. But if we scroll down a little bit here, you can see all the listings on this project. The first very important thing is to have this by now filter toggled on. And now what I'm looking at the collection, I'll see that they're just what is that 12346 entities listed at 1 for a theorem, floor price. This means that in this case, in this collection, the floor price is very thin and after that you can see that it goes to 1.461.4849 and so on and so on. And if I scroll a little bit further down, we go down to the 1.55 even, and that's just few rolls down. In general, this is a very good sign out thin floor means that we need just six or seven people to buy at floor prices. We are already going to be in slight profit. Well, if it's 1.4 and then it's 1.42, it's not exactly profit because there are many fees included. But we're going to discuss this in later videos. But generally speaking, this is very good when you're trading entities, you should always be looking for thin floors. This means that a little bit of volume can move the price of this collection pretty fast in order to differentiate between a thin floor and a thick floor, you also need to take another thing in consideration. This one is kind of obvious. You just have six listings, but when you go to the Activity tab, you'll be able and you have here selected sales. You'll be able to see how many sales there are per hour. And in this case, we have 123456 sales per hour. So it's very realistic that within few hours we might have a higher floor price for this one. If the situation was a little bit different and you have just one or two sales per hour. This means that this collection is not trending arrow and it might not move the floor up the way we wanted to. So you always need to consider the volume that is coming in and the sales that are coming in. And also this means that sometimes if you have a lot of volume and you have like, I don't know, ten or 15 or 20 listings at floor. They can be eaten up pretty fast because there will be a lot of people, like if you have 50 sales per hour and you have 20 NFT is listed at the floor of this means again that within an hour or two you might have a higher floor. One more thing that you need to consider though, and it's really hard to predict, is when you go to the Activity tab and you have here also listings. And I usually like to keep the sales-type on. And then if I click also on listings, this will tell me what is the ratio between the listings and the sales? Because when you go back to the floor price and you have here like six or seven on the floor, but you have many listings coming in that are at floor price. This means that the floor is thickening. And if the listings are more than the sales at the floor price, this means that it might be harder to move the floor upwards. So that's something also that you need to keep in mind. And if we go back to the Activity tab and again we click on Sales and then also on listings, will be able to see what is the ratio. You can do this just by looking at the numbers here. You see a list here and a CEO, and then you have a lot of lists here, just when you scroll down there like more than 15 lists and then you have a sale. This means that there are a lot more listings coming in the last hour or so Dan sales. But then the next step that you need to do to, in order to make good analysis is to look at the price that people are listening. You can see the sale is at a floor price, but all the listings that are coming in are way above the floor. This last one that just came in at 1.8 theorem and the next one is at 3.3 theorem. And then you have listings at 60 theorem two to 314 a theorem 3.7 and so on. So you can see that all of these listings are way above the floor price. And actually for this collection, this is very, very good. And here you can see one listing that is actually way below the floor price at 1.22. And I'm sure even without looking at the sales, I'm pretty sure this got eaten up pretty fast. Here, as you can see, there's no actual sales, so this person minted it, but there's no signal of a sale and probably this means that he canceled his listing. Okay. This is a listing that is private. You can see here under listings, he listed it for 125, but it's a private reserved for a specific address. This might be the case where somebody talked with him or he wants to transfer it through different addresses or I don't know if you have dealings offline. So maybe you have a friend that wants to buy this and you like him and that's why you're going to give him under a floor price. You can reserve this on open sea for him if we get back to the floor, this is pretty much how you evaluate it. Unfortunately, you cannot control the listings, you cannot do anything if there are more listings, but you can look at all of these data. And later when we go into the section of trading, you'll be able to make better decisions on how to trade, how to enter, and how to actually also list your NSGs whenever you're trying to sell. 15. 2.4 How to Buy a NFT: In this video, we'll go over how to buy LFTs on Open. See what kind of challenges you might face while you're doing this. For the purpose, we are going to look at gummies gang official, which is a collection that it just launched a few hours ago. And there's a lot of volume coming in. And if we go to the Activity tab, you'll be able to see that there are so many cells even per minute, like free or for sales per minute, that is huge volume coming in into this collection. And I'm guessing there are a lot of people that are trying to trade and flip those there before review. And you can tell this by just having the same picture. And we're just going to try and buy one. What are we going to do is just go to the floor and try to buy the first one. So this is 0.074 a theorem. And if you click Buy Now you need to understand the risks and that this collection is still not reviewed. Then you go you agree with the terms and conditions, and you confirm checkout, and then you're going to be sent to your MetaMask wallet. And here you'll be able to see what is the estimated gas fee. And in this case it's around $50. And then you can see the total price that you are going to be paying for this NFT. Once it's recalculated, you can click Confirm. You'll be waiting for this transaction to go over. And if we go back to MetaMask, you see here that you can speed up this transaction. This pretty much means that you'll be going to be higher gas fees, but it will be possible for this transaction to go faster through to make sure that nobody else will buy it for you. This is exactly what happened right now, as you can see, the transaction failed and you might have already completed this or maybe somebody else actually bought it from us. Let's see if I have it in my wallet. I go to profile and I click here, I see that there is no NFT, so we didn't manage to buy this NFT. However, you see that we got charged for the gas fees in the amount that I paid for gas is this much like $12 and I didn't even manage to get the nFET. There is something very important to keep in mind too, when you're trading, especially with high volume collections like this one. As you can see, this one that we tried to buy it, it's already gone. Somebody bought it just before us at this price right here. You have to be very careful because especially when you have high volume and if t trading, there are a lot of gas wars, they're going on and people are bidding higher and higher in order to get the NFT. And sometimes you might lose on gas, as you can see, I paid gas even without having DFTs. And sometimes if you really want the empty, it might not be worth it to pay the extra gas for this transaction because keep in mind, the gas is costs and that is adding to your entity and together with other fees that you have, just piles up, and this means that your break-even point will be higher. So let's go back and try again what I usually like to do in such kind of collections. And if I really want to buy this and if t, i don't go at the first at the floor price, so I try to go it some of the next ones, yes, I'll be paying a little bit of a higher price, but anyway, I'll be paying it either on a gas war or on here. And keep in mind that in situations like this, broken see really plays out. So if I just click Refresh, not always, the entities that you are viewing here on the page will be active. They might already be gone and open C is not managing to refresh all the data fast enough. So the better way to do this as either to go through here. So by some of these entities that are later on the floor, or what you can also do is go on the Activity tab and go on listings. And if you remove the sales, you can try also to buy it from here. You can see there are several listings coming in at different prices. You have to be careful which ones you choose. If we just click to this one, this might also already be gone. And that's the case because this is a very high volume, but this is another way to try and buy into a collection that is very hyped. If you don't have that much of a volume coming in, it's much easier to buy any NFT that you want. But if you have so much volume, this is something that you need to be aware. And let's try this again. Let's go to the floor and I'll just try to buy one which is not exactly at floor price. Let's try this one here at 0.079. So again, I'll click by r, just be a little bit faster. And again, this is gone. You can see it's not even letting me buy it because somebody already bought it. There are plenty of softwares that do this automatically and you can do this super-fast with boats. But the goal here is to show you how to do it manually and what will be the challenges that you are going to be facing? I click Refresh again. And let's do this one more time at 0.08, I click Buy. I understand. And I confirmed the checkout. And I wait for minimax to load. As you can see, this is not really fast. Then I scroll, my gas fee will be thirty-six dollars. If the transaction goes through. I'm still waiting. This time. I think I got the NFT after four transactions, I didn't pay extra for gas. And if I go to my wallet here, I think I should be able to see DNS to there it is. So I'm a proud owner of a gummies gang at 0.08 Ethereum. If you go to the actual NFT page and you scroll down, you can see the entire activity and somebody that meant it, it just listed it for 0.08. And I bought it from this person right here, and that's it. Now we have our NFT and in the next video, Let's go over the process of selling this NFT. 16. 2.5 How to Sell a NFT: Once we have both our first NFT, let's try and sell it. And you can do this by going to your profile here on top. And you could profile, and this is what you're going to seeing here. There will be all the entities that you all currently in this wallet. If you connect a different wallet, this means that you will have different energies. And if we click on the actual NFT or even if we use loop three dots here, you can have the cell button, but let's go on the actual nFET. And here you have the history as we discussed in everything, as details and a goal and quick sale on the top-right. Now you have this window. First thing to know is that I never sell at a time auction. I always use the fixed price tab. And then on the duration, I always try to go for several days, maybe seven days, ten days or something like this. I never let an NFT to be for sale for weeks or months on end. The stuff that is happening on the market is extremely dynamic and prices change a lot. And if I see that the price of the nFET is going up very fast, I might want to cancel this listing and later in all listed for a better price. And I avoid paying gas phase because if you cancel your listing, you have to pay gas fees. I manage this by just bolting it for several days. So for 510 days or something like this. In our case, since this collection is pre-review and it's quite dynamic, I don't know what's going to happen. I'm just going to sit the sale for this NFT for the next five days. And then if I just click on the side here, now let's discuss how to price your NMT is. First of all, this is a whole probably there should be another class on how to price things, and especially in it is because the market is so dynamic. But let's say we want to have a quick flip on this gummies gang. And I want to have a price which is obviously above my break-even point in this case, because I'm hoping that with this NFT specifically, I'll be flipping it for profit. I'm looking at the volume and this collection is fairly new. It had a dip after it launched and so on. These things we're going to discuss a lot more in detail in the next sections. But our goal for this NFT specifically is to try to flip it fast and flip it for profit. We need to discuss also the fees. Here. You see that there's a couple of fees that you always have to pay. And this is first of all, the service fee for OpenCV, which is always a 2.5%. And then you have the creator fee, which is in this case six points and nine per cent, and this could go up to 10% on some collections. 6.9% is actually quite good. And that's why I believe there are a lot of flippers and this collection because the fee of the creator is relatively low. But these are all things that you need to consider when you're listing your NFT. Later in the course, I have an entire video on how to calculate your break-even and what are all the fees that you need to keep in mind when you're calculating it. But for this specific example, Let's say that our break-even point plus some profit is at 0.12 theorem. So I want to sell this NFT for this price. Once I have decided on what kind of price I want to sell it, I need to keep two things in mind. First of all, whenever you list an NFT for sale, you cannot increase its price. So you have to go through the process of canceling a listing and then listing it again, which involves being the gas phase. But you can lower the price. So in this case, if I want to sell it for 0.12, I might price it in at 0.1 to nine. So this way I'll be able to mature a little bit with the price and decrease it with time. Also a general piece of advice. This is also just mentality in people and you have probably seen it in stores and in advertisements whenever you're selling something and let's say you want to sell it for zero-point seventy theorem. You don't never list it at 0.7. It's just a mental thing and you can list it at 0.69. So this way, you have the mental trick that you might be paying a little bit less, which is actually not really true in all. It's just a play with the numbers and you're just pricing a little bit better. So this is a trick that probably you all know, but I think it's important to mention, let's go back and price this at one to nine and this will be our price and was S times goals and we see how it goes. I can list it for lower and then I just click complete listing. Once I do this, you will see this window popping up. Since this is my first time ever that I'm listing an NFT from this collection. Again, yes, you guessed it. We're going to have to pay gas fees. And here you'll be able to see what that amount would be. In this case, it's 0, a theorem. I'm not sure why is this. There should be some gas phase for this transaction. But I just click OK and I wait for the water to be initialized while we are waiting, you can actually see the text here to get setup for selling on Open see for the first time you must initialize your wallet, which requires a onetime gas fee. And now we're waiting and I'm guessing just because this collection is super busy at this moment, this might take a time sometime later and several failed attempts. Now, this is the window that I wanted to show you guys, since it's my first listing ever, I would need to pay in this case a 102 wealth doors and gas fees. Usually it's not that high, usually it's much lower, but because now we're getting into high trading times during the day. That's why the gas is going through the roof. So for now, I'm going to reject this transaction. But in general, you saw how this course, and this is pretty much for every single listing on open seat. There is one more feed that I think you should pay and that is for the collection. So one is whenever you do your first sale ever on an NFT collection. And the second is whenever you're listing your first NFT out of a given collection and all of these fees should be added when you're calculating your break-even because slowly they pile up and they make a lot from the initial price, especially when the nFET is in such a low price like this one. 17. 2.6 Risks When Trading: Most people come in the empty space to make a quick book. Unfortunately, that's the reality and that's why I wanted to show you how buying and selling work. But most importantly, I wanted to show you all the mistakes that I did on purpose for the bi of this specific gamete gang that we did live together with you guys? It's been almost a month after I bought it. And if we go to the collection originally, I bought it for 0.08 Ethereum, and the current floor is at 0.018, so far below our purchase price. Also, you can see on the Activity tab here the volume has pretty much dried up in the last hour or so. We have just for sales. And that was just one person buying those gametes. And as you can see here on the graph on open and see, the first day pretty much was the highest volume. And then this was the day of the review, a few days later and we had a little bit of a pump here into review. But originally the prices never get to this level that I actually bought in. And this is extremely typical scenario for pretty much, I don't know, 80, 90% of the collections of LFTs out there. So you get a lot of excitement in the beginning, Dora, lot of people that want to buy in just to make a quick flip and make a quick buck. They see that this NMT is quite cheap, 0.080 theorem, It's relatively cheap and they are expecting to flip it for 1020, 30% profit. However, as time passes by, many things happen in this specific case, there was something wrong with their contract, if I remember correctly, when they were meeting. So that was a problem for them and definitely didn't play in their favor after that, there is some typical slowdowns in the volume and the all the other things that we're going to discuss a lot more in detail during this course. But the main point and why I'm doing this video is to show you that it's not that easy to make money. It's actually very easy to lose money in DNA empty space. It needs to be aware of this. Don't go into it with the mindset that I'm going to be rich? No, just make sure that you learn, make sure that you do your research and be prepared to lose some money because you will do this. And in this case it was something around $200 maybe with all the fees and everything 250. I haven't sold this yet, so technically it's not a realized loss, but I'm pretty sure this will not recover. And one of the things and one of the biggest mistakes that I have also made many people do is once they've seen this price action going down and they're like, oh, at some point I hope it will recover and I will recover my initial investment. This could be the case, it could happen. I'm not saying that it hasn't happened before, but don't rely on it. If you're relying on it, this is just hope it's not a strategy, it's not a plan, and definitely it's not a recipe for success in the space. I really hope that the message of this video comes to you and you kind of understand what are the risks and make sure that you really put in the effort. And I'm pretty sure that if you do long-term, you will be very successful in the space. Because remember, we're very, very early and there's so many things and it's Sol, Sol fast-paced the whole space that it's super interesting. And I'm pretty sure that for sure if you put in the hours, you will be successful. Now let's move to the next section. 18. 3.1 Twitter as a Tool: In this section, we're going to discuss different tools that I'm using when I'm doing my research on NF2, most of the tools that I will be showing you are completely free and are great for beginners. But I will also include some paid softwares that I think are very helpful. And with time when you build a capital, you might want to decide to invest in those tools also to make things easier for you, our include a PDF with everything that we've discussed and even some extra tools that we're not going to discuss in this class so that you can do your own research, look for the paid tools, compare them with the free tools and make your own decisions. Let's jump right into the first tool, and that is Twitter. Twitter is a great resource, especially for DNA empty space. I think that together with this court is probably one of the most helpful tools that you can have out there. Right away. I want to start with a thread from this guy here. And he has included a list of people to follow on Twitter. And all of these people are quite popular in the NFT space. They have some background. A lot of them have their own projects or entities. Some of them we already looked into the first section, but here it's a more extended list and I definitely encourage you to go through the list and follow those people. One of the main reasons why you should do this is first because you can click on their Twitter and just go through different tweets that they have and see how they think about LFTs and even go back further in time. Saw in the last six months, what were their tweets about LFTs? What was their thought process? And you can just learn a lot from those people. But also once you follow them, when you go on an NFT projects, Twitter, you'll be able to see which of those people for that project. And just a quick example, if we go to the Dutch pounds, which is a well established entity, you'll be able to see right here, followed by, and it says beat board states the bones and in 26 others you fall. So if I click here, I'll be able to see what people followed this NFT project. And this could be a great indicator. If many people that I follow and I trust fold this project, then it's worth our while researching and getting familiar with the details of this NFT project and potentially may be investing in it. One website that can also help you analyze the Twitter of a given NFT project is social bleed. And if you just go to Social Blade and here on the top, you type the handle of the project that you want to be looking at. Then it will give you some statistics about their Twitter. And in this case, we have the Dutch bound here loaded already. And you can see how many followers they have, what's their rank and so on, so on. And the most important thing that we're going to be looking at is the graph like what are the monthly for wars, for the Deutsche bonds? What's the number of tweets? What are the monthly legs? And pretty much that's it. But for me personally, I like to look at this table and see what is their growth in the last 30 days and also day-by-day for the last what is that? Two weeks or so, you can see their daily growth. That is super valuable information, especially when you're researching new projects. As I mentioned, the dog pound is a well established and if two projects, so I'm not expecting crazy growth and numbers here, but if I'm researching new projects, trust me, it can tell you a lot about those and let's jump into some new projects and show you what I mean. So if we look at the moon boards Twitter account right now, this is a project that at the time of recording is new. It hasn't mint it yet. And as you can see, it has already a 100 thousand followers, pretty much. Here on the table you can see some insane growth numbers. Just in the past 30 days, they had 96 thousand new forwards and their daily average is like 3 thousand new followers. A lot of hype around this project right away. I notice a few things that on this day right here, they had winning 1000 new followers. So probably something massive happened. And we'll go into their Twitter account and look for this day and see what actually happened. Then we see the number of tweets per day. So here they had like 44 tweets, that is insane number of tweets. But this means also that this project is very active and I'm usually not taking all of this information as a standalone, so I will try to compare similar projects. So I create some kind of a benchmark. I think that's very important once you have researched like a 100 projects like we discussed in one of the first videos of this course. You'll be able to start seeing trends and to see which projects are trending a lot, which are not training that much. And if you have some history and some data, you'll be able to make conclusions based on that. Now we're on the Twitter account of moodboards and we'll go back in time to, I think it was April second and see what they actually tweeted about at that day that it brought them so many new force. This is the De Broglie, that will be it. You see they have a Twitter spaces. This is pretty much like a podcast on Twitter. And probably they answered questions. They reviewed a lot of things about this specific projects. And it probably got people very excited and that's why they have this beak increase in force. And that is also a very good sign. And it brings me to the next point. Whenever you're using Twitter as a research tool, you should look at just their feet. Just go on a project feet and just crawl through everything that they have been posting. Whenever you see such things like this AMA here somewhere, I saw a podcast, yeah, right here, a video with the owners of this project, which is great sign. We're going to look into how to research ulnar so a little bit later. But this video here has like 20 thousand views. So for me these are always, always great science and see that they have tweets just providing some information. A lot of sneak beaks. I know that they have. Yeah, you can see previews from the projects and a lot of information. And in general, I think they're very active. I think this is very well-managed. Twitter. And if we compare it to a project that probably it's not the greatest project, you'll be able to see the difference right away. So if I show you baby diversity Club, which is just random project first, you'll be able to see that they have a lot less followers, which actually in this case, 21,004 hours is not that bad. But keep in mind that on Twitter, not always the full word count is true. They might buy an account with already established following and just change the name and so on or just bought the whole account and have that many followers. Don't always trust the number of followers that a project has. And that is also very important point when you're doing your research on Twitter. And if we scroll down, you'll be able to see that they have a whitelist giveaway, another giveaway, winners from the giveaway, and then a giveaway and giveaway. And pretty much no information, no important information about this project. What it's about, what are they doing, who is their team, and so on and so on. So you can see right away the comparison between those two projects. It's not great. This one I wouldn't be investing in indefinitely while mourned words, they sound like they know what they're doing and they're very interest parent and they are providing information about their followers. The next way that you can use Twitter is by looking at the engagement. And here you can see we have on this specific boast, which in the case of moodboards, they have a raffle for their allow lists, which is actually a great, You see the numbers of engagements and comments that they have under this board. And if you scroll down again, you can see different numbers here on different posts. And again, by itself, this number doesn't tell us everything. The best way is to kind of compare it with other projects from similar ranks. One thing that I can actually advise you to do is to just open a simple Excel sheets and on this Excel sheet, because you'll be doing a lot of researchers probably per day. You'll be looking at several different projects. If you just spend one or two minutes to write down which is the project. So you write the project name you're at, what's the number of their force? And then on board engagement, you can divide this by two, so it could be likes and also comments. You can have information on average, like for example, if we take moodboards as an example. So they have a 100 thousand followers and their likes, around 4 thousand likes on these previews from the project. So here I'm going to write 4 thousand legs and then the comments that the gap is around 1 thousand comments. So as you can see, it's not perfect. I'm rounding these things up. Now what I can do is go on ten or 20 different other projects and see those ratios. And to be able to best work with this table, It's good to have similar port here, for example, I'm looking at a specific type of ports or previews from the moodboards project. And usually all projects have preview, so you can easily find those and compare the engagement on each one of those. Some other people I've heard that they use like giveaway both to gauge their engagement. But tumulus, I don't like this because the goal of each waitlist giveaway is to share and retweet. And like Ghana makes people fake the engagement's just because they want to get a waitlist. I prefer looking at the generic numbers of the community. For example, like nice video and, or as I said, a preview that is a great gauge for the engagement and Twitter. And the last thing that you can do is go through some comments. If you just click on the tweet, you'll be able to see many different comments here on the site. And you'll be able to understand the community behind this project, even though it's a new project, even though it hasn't melted yet, they haven't delivered anything. You can tell a lot about the excitement of the people because don't forget, those will be the people there'll be rushing the doors to either buy when the project is launching or later when they're already listed on Open. And we're going to increase the price of this project because there's so much hype. These are the main ways I use Twitter. They're probably a lot more and we're going to look in detail when we go through the research process, how to gauge all of these things. But I think this is the meat of how to use Twitter as a tool. And now let's go to the next one. 19. 3.2 Break Even Calculator: In this video, I want to show you one of the most important tools and that is calculating your break-even. You can do this several different times. I personally would like to do it manually, but I'm also going to show you a website that are calculating your break-even point for every single entity that should decide to buy. Many people including myself, do the mistake of not calculating their breakeven before even completing the transactions. There are so many fees included like the OpenCV, the royalty fee, their gas fees, there are list fees and so on. You need to be aware when you're buying something, especially if you're buying something cheap, Where is your break-even point? And let's do this with one example, gametes, this is the one that we bought in the beginning in this course. And the first way to calculate our breakeven is if we go to the transaction hash right here, if I click on the date from the sale that I made and this is the transaction hash on ether scan. We can see it, it's very long and you can just click and copy it. And then we can go to a website that it's called de-risk dot tools. And you can paste here your transaction and submit and you'll be able to see all the information about your purchase. So in this case, We bought it at 0.08 Ethereum. The transaction fee was this much. We have almost 7% in royalty 2.5 for open sea fees. And you'll be able to see that this is our break-even point currently. Then once I sold it or you can play with this. If I sell it for 0.12, this potentially will be my profit. And if I have to sell it at a loss at 0.04, for example, like Ed, the current floor price, you'll be able to see also how much you're going tools. This is one way with the transaction hash, but also their websites that do this for you. For example, if T in its.com here you can type in manually all the details from your transaction will cure on the side, it will tell you what was the number that you're looking for. So for example, in this here, if I buy something for 0.2 Ethereum, I have this royalty and I paid this much for gas. I will be at a loss if I sell at 0.22. So my minimum for profit is 0.24, I think. Yeah, here we are at a slight profit. The best way for me personally is if we do this manually and I like using spreadsheets and you can probably tell, but I just liked to have everything in one place. And here I can basically track my record as an NFT trader and investor. I have added just two transactions, but pretty much it's a very simple idea. You name the project here. What is the ID of the NFT that you just bought? Then you have, what's the price here? What's the gas that you paid for this transaction? Sometimes it might be 0 and then it calculates simply what is your total costs? Then I have added what are the royalties and what a formula from the sale price. How calculate adding the cell gas to what will be my break-even point here, pretty much all the fields that you see on the other calculators. But I wanted to do this manually because sometimes, for example, on a collection if you're listening for a first-time when you pay gas fees, I'll be adding this to sell gas fees. Or also if you have some entities that could be staked and you have to pay transactions whenever you're taking your entities for our learners, this to the list of costs. So this way I'll have clearer picture how much money the entity actually caught and how much I actually made or lost from the nFET. And the best thing of this table is that when I make like ten purchases, then I'll be able to draw a line and say, okay, after my first ten purchases for LFTs, I'm at a break-even or I'm at a loss, or I made this much money and so on. That's why I really like to have those spreadsheets. 20. 3.3 Flips Finance: Flips dot finance is another very cool free website that has some very important information about NFT projects. Let me show you some of my favorite features. If you scroll further down here, you can see the rankings. And usually this is by volume. So you'll see the most popular projects in the empty space on open sea. It represents a quick snapshot, but also it includes those two last columns, which is the supplier listed, and then the 24 hours listings. And in the case of board apes, you can see that there were 38 new listings and this means plus 38 here you can see it's in red because in general this is considered a bad indicator. The lower the number of listings are, this could act better on the price because this means there are more items for sale and there might be more buyers than their sellers, and this will increase the price of the NFT project. If we look at the next one, for example, a zucchini, you can see that it's minus 16. This means 16 less a zucchinis in the 24 hours for sale. If we look at Cologne x, you can see that there were 202, the listings in the last 24 hours. Something also very important is the total supply listed here. It's like 7.7% for BA YC. Then you have 9% for a zucchini and 8.5% for cologne. Next, generally speaking, anything below 10% is a great number. And that is especially true for projects. They're not having any staking. And if we list by the supplier listed, you can see here the lowest number of listed. These are usually projects that allow people to stake their entities and earn some kind of a token or whatever their mechanicals. So just keep this in mind whenever you're looking at this data. And if we click on any project and if we go back to the volume chart, and if we choose, for example, a zucchini, you'll see that on the profile of a zucchini, there's a little bit more information that I like to look at first. So you can see also a screenshot for the seven days holders and 70 listing change. And here you can see a zookeeper is excellent project with minus 236 listings in the last seven days. And then we have some graphs which I really like first one is the floor. You can also see this on open sea. Then you can see the holders graph. This represents the number of holders that we have in this project and also the numbers listed. But in the form of graph. You can see that during the period of the last several months, a zucchini numbers have been on a downtrend. So this means less and less people are listing their Lucas, which means that they believe long-term and the project and it could create a price increase in the future. It will look at the holders. Usually we want this graph to be increasing. In the case of a zookeeper is going down for the past month or so, which it's just an indicator. I wouldn't just based all of my decisions on one graph. It tells you a piece of the story of course. But in this case we can see that as Luke is holders have been going down, but still they're at a very healthy numbers. So this is a collection of 10 thousand and the unique holder account currently as at 5,500, almost anything above 50% of a unique holder account. I think it's a very good number. And actually some of this information you can find on OpenCL. If we go on Open and open a zookeeper, here you will see the number of items and then the number of ulnaris here. But this is only the current number. So there's no graph and open sea. But also if we click on the floor Bryce and select only the buying now, you'll be able to see the number listed. So this is 917 items at the moment, I don't know if you can see this. I'm zooming in a little bit. This is the number of listed items in this collection. This is below 10% of the entire collection, very, very low. And if we compare this with flip-flop finance here you can see the number of percentage supplier listed for sale. It's 9.15% currently, this is how I use this website. As you can see, it has some very valuable information completely for free. I definitely use these inputs whenever I'm researching and when I'm deciding if I want to invest in a project or not, let's move to the next one. 21. 3.4 NFT GO: The next tool that we're going to look at is called NFT go.io unalike this website because it's free, first of all, but then it provides a lot of good information about the holders of an NFT project. Keep in mind that if you have newer projects, they might not be added to NFT go, but also the data might be a little bit skewed. Now let us look at a project that I know it's kind of old and they have it for short, it's called lazy Alliance. And if you jump right into it, you'll be able to see some basic information here like market cap holders and so on, so on. And also some volume here, but I don't think that's very accurate. So we're not going to be using NFT golf for this. The one thing that I'm very interested in is right here, holders. And if we go to holders, you'll be able to see some very important information about the holders. The first thing you see is that there are this many holders. So out of a 10 thousand collection, they have 5,100 unique holders and 46 of them are whales. And that's actually pretty much a stable number for the past few days. Here. And here you can see if you click on All I think it's still free. Once they launched, you can see that the number of holders has been steadily increasing. And that is always a good sign for a project. And then the other two things that I really like to look at is the holding amount distribution. This means out of all the holders out there, how many LFTs each of those holders have? And as you can see, 70% of those have just one lazy lion. And that is usually a statistic that is very good if anything is above 50% or 60 or 70 in this case, that is a good sign. This means that just one person aware doesn't have too much power over the project and it cannot just suddenly dump, oh, it's lays lands on the market. Generally speaking, this project has very good data because together with two or three lazy last, this makes up more than 90% of the holders. Which is, as I said, a very good sign whenever you have less than 80 or 90% combined in these two, I think that is potentially a red flag for the project. And the other graph that I'm looking at is holding period distribution. So in this case, lazy liars also look fairly good because the average hold is above three months to one year. So you can see that almost 70% of the people are holding for this long. This means that there's not a lot of trading going on in this project. And people probably like it for the long term. You might ask, why is this important? Well, if people were holding and they're not selling their entities, this means There's a little bit less entities on the market and this could lead to supply shocks and everything else that we're going to discuss in one of the following videos. One disclaimer on this graph. If you have a fairly new project, you might not see this number very high form, 323 months to one year. You'll be seeing a lot lower numbers are probably know holders in this period just simply because the project could be one or two months old. So keep this in mind whenever you're doing your research. Here, you can also see the wales address, which is great. You can click on the actual address. It will send you to this person's wallet or you can copy this address and gold to open C or go to ether scan and see what else he's holding. And in general, it will give you a lot of interesting information about the holders of this project. And you'll potentially be able to see if they start dumping the lazy alliance on the market. I personally don't go that far in my research, but I think it's a great opportunity that you actually have this data. And if you're geeky enough and you really want to invest in this project, a lot of money, probably that's something that you want to keep in mind. 22. 3.5 Rarity Tools: There are a number of free tools that can help you determine the rarity of a given NFT. Why is this important? Because the rarer the NFT when it's traits and everything, probably the more value it carries because this means that in a collection of 10 thousand, there are just a very low number of these with a specific trait. And let me show you a few tools that you can use for free to determine the rarity and how to use them. One that I use is called trade sniper and it's just the Chrome extension, then you can install it. It looks something like this on the site. Once you have it installed and enabled, when you scroll through the collection, you'll be able to see a small rectangular piece right here and purple. And it tells you what is the rank of this specific NFT. And if it's a common NFT or not, so common or whatever, as you can see now we're looking at the floor NMT. So pretty much all of them are going to be common. Would just scroll through them. And yes, pretty much none of them carries any extra value. But if we go here on the side on open sea and you can see the properties of the collection. And I just scroll to mouth. You can see here that there are different types of mounts. And also on the site, you'll be able to see how many of DNF TAs have this type of mouth. And if I scroll down to the bottom, you'll be able to see that for example, in this case, braces are the rarest, would just 19 fifties with this trait. And the floor price for these is currently 3.5 Ethereum, so much higher than the actual projects floor price, which is at 1.8. If you're in currently here on trade sniper, you can see that this here is in the top ten of the rarest if ts, It's pretty easy to determine this and also the best part about trade snipers that also works on the Activity tab. And if we scroll down here, you can see which rare and Nephthys or not so rare entities were sold and what was their rank according to trade sniper, I think there's no perfect too when it comes to a rarity. So I always suggest using several different tools to determine the rarity. And another one that I want to show you is called rarity dot tools. And we're going to actually compare the two and see which one shows what kind of rarity rankings for this collection. This is a rarity tools and how it looks. And usually what you can do is click on Buy. Now, first of all, if you go to the home and maybe even to all collections here, you can type in your collection that you're looking at in this case, I can see it here in France. It will open the collection for you. And if you scroll a little bit down, you'll be able to see though rarest. And if these in these collections, the number that you see below is the coat of DNF t on top here, number one, this means that's the rarity rank of this NFT. And what we can do now is filtered by, by now. So this means these are listed for sale. And also we can determine the price range. So maybe somebody listed at close to floor some rare NFT. You don't know, maybe it's happening in this case, you'll see that that is not the case. There are no rare NSGs listed under two Ethereum. And how I know this, I just look at the rankings and when I scroll through them, everything is above 5 thousand or 6 thousand, which is not very rare. The rarest entities are usually the first 100 or five, hundreds or thousands. Usually they come at a premium price. But if you're looking enough, somebody might not be pricing it, right? And you might find a gym in a given collection. Let's just compare. What are the rankings just for this NFT here it says rank 717 on trade sniper. And if I just opened the nFET and see what the number of this one is. Just copy it. Can I go to the collection and I insert here on the left side where it says ID copy pasted. I look up and let's see what rarity tools will tell me as a rarity for this specific NFT. There it is. And their score is 116, which is actually a decent score. And as you can see also here it matches the rarity rank is 717, the same as the trade sniper. The cool thing when you do this is when you're looking at NFT, you can just copy paste It's number and it will give you a quick summary. It will give you all the other features that this NFT has and what is its floor value? And if maybe there's some other treat here that are rare on this entity and you can research them later on. There are also a number of beads tools that can give you this information much faster and much more accurate. But I'm going to include them in the PDF. And you can also of course, do your own research and see if you need such kind of a tool. I think at least for my style, it's not necessary, but if you decide to go after rare, so definitely I think it's worth having better tools in order to be able to support what rare traits are and also to buy them on time. 23. 3.6 Dune Analytics: Dune dot XYZ is a free website which doesn't look very pretty, but I use it for one specific thing. And I think that's very important to monitor in general. If we go here on the site, then you have popular dashboard tax. So you can have a volume open C and so on. I always go to volume and then I click on Open. See dashboard. You can see here data for the monthly trade count on open sees the first one, the fees on Alban see the monthly USD volume, and then the daily volume in US dollar terms. And that's actually the graph that I mostly look at in this website. This pretty much shows you what kind of environment there is on the market. And if we're in a barren or a boron, or if we're down in the gutter like we were in the beginning of March. Usually very good volume on open seat is considered anything above a $100 million daily. But as you can see, we have spikes to almost $300 million. And I think the space is very new, as you can see, just in the beginning of last year, the volume was below a 100 most of the days. And as time passes by amperage sure that these numbers will develop and probably these right here like a 100 or 200 or 300 million will look like over very, very low volume. But for now, we're working with this and I suggest you keep track of this because it's very important to know where the markets at and also to be able to build more data for yourself because the space is very new and we don't know what's going to happen in the future. We don't know how this will develop, what will be the correlation with cryptocurrencies and so on. This is one of the tools that it's free and you can use to compare everything that's happening on the market and have more data points. For your personal research. 24. 3.7 NFT Nerds: The next tool I want to show you is actually abate tool, but they have a free version, it's called NFT notes. In order to apply for the free version, you just need to connect your wallet and you'll be able to see some statistics about different projects. I've opened just a random project called crypto bull society. And here you can see what are the listings, the trades. Also there's some dots with different traits and the prices that actually this is a very important graph, but we're going to discuss it just in a little bit. And then here on this side you'll be able to see the count of listings on specific floor prices. And that's actually very powerful tool that if you're actively trading entities, you can use to determine what you can expect, the price of a certain NFT collection to reach before it has a slowdown. And if we just change the scaling here to 0.1 Ethereum, you'll be able to see that specifically in this project, it has a higher count of listings just below 0.5. A theorem you can expect here price to slow down because there's just too much of listings in this price range around 0.5. However, this tool, the free version, it's not very accurate. This is just a sneak peek. I wanted to show you how the actual thing looks. But I think it's definitely a good investment to have such kind of a tool if you're serious about flipping and if you want to invest money into the tools that you'll be using. Because these tools give you a competitive advantage in many professional flippers are using them. And if you are not, you will be a step behind. And especially when it comes to the trades graph, this is something very important. And me personally as a trader, I really liked to use those graphs. But in the case of the free version of NF2 notes, There's not much analysis that you can do and this is actually not very accurate. And that's why we'll need to have a beat two for this. And in the next video, we're going to look at one that is relatively cheap and very good to use. And it provides great information with the graphs of sales and everything. But it doesn't provide information like this where the more of the listings on the floor for such features, if you decide you need to be a little bit more to have other with more advanced tool. But now let's look at the next tool that it's paid. But I think it's totally worth it. 25. 3.8 Icy Tools: I see dot tools is one of the more popular tools out there that it's paid first because it's kind of cheap, or at least it's relatively cheap compared to other softwares. But also it's very good and very effective. And what it does. The cost for this is around $75 per month at the time of shooting, and I truly believe it's worth it. And if you're serious about FFTs, you should definitely at least have Aikido tools. Let me show you what exactly is this tool and what you can do with it. So first, this is the trending and EFT collections. This is by sale status very important because when we get into the section of actually trading LFTs, you'll be able to spot some trends early on because you can have a 15-minute chart, also like five-minute chart, even just one minutes charts here. So pretty much you'll be able to see how many sales there is for a specific project in the last minute or so. This way, you'll be able to spot absolutely every single new entity that bumps before probably 90% of the people out there. The one-minute graph is pretty degenerate, but usually I use the 15 minute and 30 minutes and one our graphs. And here you can see that you have the sales floor currently, the number of sales which this actually arranges by the number of sales and also the volume and the market gap. And so which actually the project is. The first few things that you need to know is that in a 15-minute frame, if you have anything above like 20 sales, I think this means that the project is going well and there's a lot of volume coming in. One thing that you need to consider with this is the Bryce. And in this case you'll see that the number one project that it's currently pumping, it's super, super cheap, It's like 0.009 Ethereum and it has around 100 and sales. And also you can see that the volume is currently increasing. When I started this video, it was like around 90 sales and now it's just increasing and increasing. And as you can see, most of these are relatively cheap, very cheap. And if D is actually excluding this one, everything is below 0.1 theorem here. And in general, I have a rule of avoiding flips in such cheap projects. First of all, because most of them are scams and also because of all the fees included. So in this case, if you have high volume the cost of the gas of the transaction and then later to sell it and all the royalties, it could be even doubled the price of DNF t. So are you sure that this project will double or triple from here, that's very risky. That's why that's another criteria that I look at is the price of the nFET. If we stick to this 15-minute chart, you can see that the first ones are the lobsters. That makes sense to me, at least with 0.1 on price. And then you have the Los Muertos world, which is at 0.478 theorem. But as you can see, these don't have huge amounts of volume or right now. So basically what you can do is just sit here all day, stare at these numbers and see what's pumping, go onto the project, loosened basic research, and then just bind to the pump and sale like in a half an hour or one hour depending on the plant for profit. That's the goal of this window right here. However, I see TO tools has much more powerful site. And let me show you what it is. If we click on the loop stars, you see the pretty much like a homepage of this project and it gives you a very important information like, what's the circulating supply? What's the total number of lobsters? And by the way here you can see that we have 3,200 and circulating supply and the number of lobsters in the collection is 7,007 sevenths. So this means that this is broadly currently mentoring. And you can see also here, if you click on mids, you'll be able to see that currently there meeting. That's another important thing that you need to consider when you're looking at the previous graphs. So if something is pumping doesn't always necessarily mean that it's a great investment. They might just have a lot of volume because they are just minting. And we're going to discuss how to treat this in separate videos. But just keep this in mind. And that's why a very nice screenshot here of everything that you need to know about this project. And also you can see what is the royalty in this case, it's 7%, It's not ten, which is like a higher standard, which I think is good. It's a lower supply collection. You have some official links, cure on the right side, and some additional data about the volume, the sales and so on. But what we're here for and what we really pay for ICT tools is this graph of de Sales. You can see here every single dot. And if you click on a single dot, it will send you to the nFET and the sale that was actually made, in this case, this loop star was sold for once that 0.11 a theorem and it was like 15 hours. A goal. You might ask yourself, why is this unimportant to? And maybe this is not the best collection. So let's just jump into another collection and I will show you why this is important. This collection here is called the droplets, and I know that it was meeting the last few days. And as you can see, all the 6,500 and FTEs were minted. And now we can actually look at the graph and the last day or a few days or so. And here you can see now the power of IC2. So you can see a very nice graph with all the sales. And actually you can draw here like older trend lines and everything. You cannot draw on IC tools, but I mean, you can analyze what's happening here. As you can see, this has been on a steady downtrend with some peaks to the bottom and to the upside. You can use this information to treat. And if we decided to zoom just in this part to see what happened, you can select like this and it will zoom into this part of the graph. And you'll see that it was, when it launched, the price was 0.1. If William, then it sharply drops to 0.06 and then it won't again to 0.09. So if you are able to see this and catch this, maybe you have made some money. And pretty much unless you have a software or a tool that gives you this kind of information on a graph. You won't be able to spot the trend on the market, just on open sea or on any of the other free tools. And that's why I think it's very powerful to have IC2 and to be able to use it. Another very important thing is the volume. If we scroll a little bit down, you'll be able to see these bars and you'll see that the volume in this case has been fading out. But whenever there's a volume and let me show you an older collection and show you what exactly. I mean, let's use a zucchini in this case, as you can see, the graph looks totally different on a Zeki. And if we scroll a little bit further down here now you can analyze also the volume. And pretty much the, when there's a volume spike, there is an increase in the number of sales. This is what volume is. And also usually the price of DNF t's go up. And if we see this huge volume spike on April 1st, and if we see the correspondence in this area of the actual price of DNF T's, you'll be able to see the huge spike in the price. That's also something very important that you'll be able to monitor pretty much on every single project. And yes, on open sea, you can see some of this information. And if we go, again, let's use a zucchini as an example. If you go to the Activity tab and you'll be able to see here the volume here on the bottom and pretty much the same spike and the increase in the price. You can see this. But if you're actively trading, you won't be able to see this dead fast on open sea and on ICT tools. You'll be able to see very pretty much day by day, hour by hour, how this develops. And if there is a downtrend or an uptrend in the last days or weeks or months. And based on that, you'll be able to make different decisions in your trading, which we are going to discuss a lot more in detail in the section for different strategies for treating inequities. 26. 3.9 Paid Tools: The empty space is fairly new, but there are so many different tools out there that are paid and I think are actually quite good that you can definitely get lost. In this video, I want to show you just a few tools that I believe are of higher-quality, but also the types of pricing that they have and what could be a better investment. And my personal opinion between if you're looking at two, for example, equal tools and one of it could be a better investment compared to the other one. And let me show you what I mean. Super see, for example, is a tool that is very powerful, especially when it comes to rarity trading. It also has an extension just like the one I showed you treats sniper. But this is a much more powerful version and much more accurate because trade sniper doesn't always have all the collections and especially if it's a new collection, you won't be able to see any kind of rarity rankings on the free tools. Manson is also a very popular and powerful tool, but as you can see here on the pricing, the cheapest one that you can get monthly as at $150. And those two tools have the option to pay monthly. So you can see there is a subscription-based just like AAC tools and you paid this amount per month in the case of super easy, this is 0.1 Ethereum per month, which in my opinion, super expensive. And in the case of Nansen, you have also the option to have a discount with a quarterly or yearly plan. The same solution is also offered by NFT naughts. And in this case the Motley is 0.15 a theorem. And if you get six months, you get a discount at 0.5 a theorem. But again, I think these are very, very expensive tools. And even if you are rich and if you have all the liquidity in the world, if you are good at flipping, I personally wouldn't be using such kind of investments in these tools because if you live in the empty space and they are much better options. And let me show you what I mean. For example, supersede offers a founding member pass, which is basically an NFT. And if you click here by an open sea, you will be able to actually buy this NFT. And potentially if at some point you don't want to do this anymore, or maybe this increases to a price of, let's say four or five Ethereum. You'll be able to sell it and actually routines some of your investment. And as you can see in this case of the non-fungible tools, which is pretty much super see, you can see that in the past the price for this was around for a theorem and it's currently around to a theorem. So you'll be making a lot of money while using the tool. And of course this depends on the market, but I believe that this is an asset, this is an NFT that you can later sale. And even if you sell it at a loss, it will be some return on your investment and you won't be paying just 0.1 or 0.15 a theorem every single month without any return. Similar tool is also alpha shark. I think this is a very powerful tool. I've heard very good reviews on this one, and it's fairly cheap, actually, zero-point for Ethereum, for the nFET. And this again is actually at a discount, I believe at this moment because at some point it was at 0.7 Ethereum, quite recently, it was at 0.5 FU. You can also meet money with these tools. And actually that's a strategy that I like to use and I'm going to discuss a little bit more in detail in the future videos. But for now, we'll stick just to the tools themselves. And if you buy one, then this unlocks the tools and you can apply them and you can use them. You can trade your NSGs, do your analysis, and at some point you can sell them if you want to. Another one that I wanted to show you is a compass, dots art is the website and the nFET is corpus lifetime paths. And again, it's fairly cheap. It's similar to ICD-10 tools and you can just buy it. And also at some point if you decide you can sell it, I truly believe that this is the future of any kind of subscription business because keep in mind, these still make money when you're trading those entities, those passes. So it's not like the company will go broke, but it actually also provides a value of old for the holders, not in the terms of their services, but in terms of an asset that you can sell at a profit, or at least to have some return on your investment. So I do believe that this is the future and it's very powerful. And I will strongly encourage you to use such kind of tools in the forms of FFTs. 27. 3.10 Alpha Groups: In this video, I want to talk a little bit more about alpha groups. Basically, these are groups where you enter and there are a lot of people like analysts, specialists in the NFT space that provide Alpha for everyone that is a holder of a pass. Another added benefit of these communities is that you have waitlist raffle. For example. In this case, this wizard tasks that I'm going to show you a little bit more in detail, has around 3 thousand passes. And this means that within the people that own the past, if for example, the ulnar, the creator of this NFT in this group, makes a deal with a certain NF2 project. They will give him, let's say, a 100 waitlist sports. And then he'll make a raffle between all the holders of the path and you actually have a little bit higher probability of getting a bus if you're just trying to get those on Twitter giveaway, for example, or something like this. Wizard passes the one that I currently have. And I want to show you a little bit more the backend of it. But before that, let me show you some other a little bit more expensive ones that they're out there. Champs only is another pass from an influencer is called champ crypto. I already showed you his Twitter account. This one is at current price of 1.2 Ethereum, so it's quite expensive, but it also quite limited compared to the other one that I just showed you. It has only 1400 and if Ts in it, so 1400 members. Book pass is another one. This is from kosher pluck, and this one is even more limited. So 969 passes ever created. Dark echelon is another one. This is very, very expensive. Five eat floor, to be honest, I don't know why it's so expensive. I haven't done the research. But again, it's pretty much the similar concept. These groups can be very helpful if you have the liquidity and if you can join them. But keep in mind that once you buy them first, you need to have more ethereal, more liquid. Be able to treat with all the courses that they're going to be sharing with you. But also there's a huge disclaimer about every single Alpha group. And I just want to jump into my alpha group down currently and show you how the boat actually look like and what you can expect. Because many people expect that once you enter such kind of a group, they will just tell you by this silhouette now and you'll be printing money pretty much. That's not the case. There's a lot of valuable information, but you still need to do your own research and you still need to decide where you're going to put your money in. This current group or with our paths, is divided into several different alpha, let's say channels. So this is a training alpha and I think it's very useful for beginners. They have a lot of information about newbies, then they have degenerate calls. So these are codes that are very, very risky, I would say. And they're in a separate group because they don't want people to just into absolutely every single project. And the people that have more liquidity like some of the analysts that are in here. You know what they can afford to lose some theorem if displays don't work out. The most important channels in this community is the team alpha bytes. So they provide a little bit more detailed explanations or explanations, for example, for a Raffles, like a public registration for pre-med. And also they can give you the heads-up of newer projects that are coming to be aware of them, to join their discourse, to like them on Twitter and do your own research later and see if you like them, then they have the channel for researched course. These are little write-ups, for example, like this one. What's the project name? What is the summary of the project? All the basic stuff that you need to know. And also type of investment place that they will be looking at potentially when the project launch or if it's already on the market, what will be their trading strategy? But as you can see just from today, we have already one post that is again from today. That is from yesterday. This is also from yesterday. Again from yesterday. So within the spam off three or four days, you have five or six course. And this is a lot. Some of the projects, for example, the one that is discussed in this post is three lambda and this is like 1 for Ethereum floor currently, and it's very, very expensive. So you might not be able to take advantage of all those costs and evenly if you can, even if you have the liquidity, I don't think it's the smart move to just a bin. Every single project that the guys are talking about, because trust me, more often than not, they're also wrong. Displays. Don't always work out and they're not guaranteed to meet you money or these are just analysts that maybe have a little bit more experience in this space and they have liquidity to play around and yeah, they make money, but not always with time and with efforts and with your own research, I think you can make better pigs compared to some of the analysts. And potentially you can just build your own style because don't forget every single personal has a very different style of research. And this is the main topic of this course to teach you how to trade and invest, but also how to build your own style so that you're satisfied. Because for example, I don't have that minute time to treat. And if every single day my strategies that a little bit different. You might be like 1618 year-old watching this right now. And you have old time in the world, you don't have many obligations and you want to just deep into every single thing and just read about nFET is like 20 hours per day. That's fine, but make sure that you build your own strategy. And of course, you can use alpha groups to help you do this. 28. 4.1 Types of NFT Projects: In this section, we'll dive deeper into how to do research for any kind of NFT projects. There's some differences between brand new project and other projects that have already been on the market for some time. But in general, the points that we're going to go over cover both type of projects. In this video, I want to look into the different types of projects that you will be researching. And that is especially important because you need to be comparing apples with apples. And let me show you what I mean. We're gonna start with crypto banks. Usually NMT is have some kind of utility and there are several types of utility debt and NFT can get into, Wow, you're doing your research and while you're researching your first 100 projects, It's very important to research different projects from the different types of utilities that are out there. So that you can benchmark dose with each other and make your investment decisions based on the information that you're getting. The very first one and probably the most popular one is Raphael pictures sold. The main goal of these entities is to pretty much flash what your entity is on the social networks. In this case, I'm going to use crypto punks as an example. This is one of the older collections in DNF D space. It's from the mid 17th, so it carries a special status. And nowadays, crypto punks are super expensive. They're current floor price is around 60 or 70 Ethereum. But as you can see here, we have sales even at 148 theorem, which in the current prices of a theorem is over $400 thousand. So if you own one of these crypto punks, this is a status symbol and if you put it on your Twitter account or on this CT or anywhere else, people might say, Okay, this person knows either something about DNA, empty space, or his popular. He has a lot of money he's made well Indiana empty space. There are many different things that people might think when you see that you have a crypto Punk has a profile picture and this is similar to owning, let's say a Mercedes Benz or a role floors or having a Rolex. You know, people are simple. We like to flash and we like to buy expensive things. And I do believe that profile pictures in the NFT space surf this very well. However, of course, map every single collection that is the PFP brings this value. And that is very important to know What's also behind this project. In the case of crypto punks, they pretty much have this old GI status. But if we look into another collection which is in my opinion the biggest collection out there, Board AP act glue up. Their prices are even more insane. But on top of being profile picture Project, they also started providing value like they created the eighth token that the AirDrop to the owners of these apes. They are developing a metaphors and many different things that bring additional value to this project. Before I show you the other types of NFT projects, I want to go through a very important point. You will see many copycats out there and many projects that have similar utility. So we're going to go deeper into this. But when you see a project in your research, when you have looked already at a 100 projects are. So if you see something unique that these guys are doing, that's worth noticing and that's worth investigating further because this might bring additional value in the NFT space and it might be the first-mover advantage that this project will have. And let me give you a very good example of this. The DOJ pound is a PFP project, but they also created the so-called Launchpad. So basically, if you have an NH2 project idea, you can go to the DOJ bound community and they can invest in new and help you launch your first NFT project at the time, this was something unique, it was something special. So this makes this project specifically unique in its own ways. And it's similar with many different projects. Once you have built your experience and your know-how look for these trends that are brand new, that nobody has been talking about this. And some projects are starting to come into the space and try to do it in a good way and differentiate between the good ones and the bad ones. And these will be probably the next 1000 text projects. Now let's move to the other types of utilities. One very popular one nowadays is staking and hobbies are a great example of this. You can stake your Habib, you basically your NFT, and then you get token oil. I know very, very creative. And what makes the Habib is unique is that with the token oil, you can go to their marketplace or they pretty much have a whitelist marketplace. And you can pay in oil in their token on X amount of money and get a waitlist spot for a specific project that they are partnering. I think this is also a unique proposition nowadays, I see more and more projects blue in this kind of marketplaces. But I think the Habib is we're either the first or one of the first. And this makes them kind of a low tier blue-chip on their own. And if you can see here, they have 80% of their hobbies staked. And as I said here, you can treat the O for waitlist sports. One thing that you need to consider with projects there staking, there is the ownership here. You can see they have a very low number of owners, but basically this means that the tokens are not on the website, so you can not see the statistics on open seat and usually some projects as this one, we'll tell you how many of them are staked. One more benefit of staking is that now if we go to buy now, you'll see that there are very low number of N of t is listed. So this is just 140 items are up for sale out of a collection of 5 thousand. So very, very low numbers. And that's usually very good to see. Another type of sticking there I've seen kind of similar to Hobbes is key CGI. These guys offer waitlist spots for the people that are staking their kidneys. But they are not doing it by paying. So they don't have any kind of token. Pretty much they do raffles between all the kidneys they're staked. And if you are staking for a certain period of time, you are guaranteed that you're going to get a waitlist spot. Big caveat to this is that in all of these projects, even if you went to a whitelist spot, this doesn't mean that it will be for a good project and that you should meant it. But we're going to discuss this in detail in the next section. Another example that I want to show you and it's a little bit different, is cool monkeys Genesis. They do have staking as a project, but also they're doing many other things. So you can use the token that you're earning, four different treasure hunts. And in the treasure hunts you win some kind of resources or even waitlist spots. And later when they're developing, they're all going to have a metaphors and a game. And you'll be able to use these resources for different things in their project. Also, one thing that is very important for these guys is that they have breathing. And basically you need to have two or more monkeys and you'll be able to have a baby monkey sometime in the future. And for this baby monkey, you need a trainer, which is also another NFT in the project. And pretty much they create this ecosystem inside of there that you can play in and have fun in. And hopefully it raises the value of the project because people will respect what they're doing and they're having fun. And this potentially could increase the value of this specific project. Also another similar thing that you can see, for example, on the dog pounds, they have the Deutsche pound puppies. These are pretty much another set of N of t is their accompanying. And if t is two the Dutch bound to the main collection. And if you owned a dog pound at the time, you would be able to mint adult puppy. And again, you can sell it, hold it or whatever. It just brings additional value and potentially money for the owners. Because at some point these were words zero-point for a theorem. So in other words, imagine that you bought Deutsche bonds early when it was like zero-point two or three Ethereum. Then they launched the puppies and you're able to sell the puppy for the same amount of money like 0.3 Ethereum. This means that you have the DOJ pound pretty much free and you'll be able to keep it by just selling the puppy and you'll be at break-even. So whenever you decide if you want to decide to sell the Dutch bound, you'll be able to make money and profit on that NFT for sure. Another very popular utility is in gaming. So you can have any t's that are gaming assets. And in this I'm going to use the example of raid party game that everything is on the blockchain and all the heroes in this case and in the fighters are and if Ts, and As you can see if we scroll down here, this is how they look. I know there are pixelated, not the greatest art, but still you can buy this character. Then you can connect your wallet in the game. And you can use this NFT to play the game. And also you can develop the characters so you can build strength and whatever. There are many different types of utilities within a game for LFTs. And also if you have a metaphor. So for example, when the board eight metaphors is ready, you will be able to again connect your wallet and play in the metaphors when you're bored ape NFT, in the case of gaming, you have Blair versus environment, player versus player. So there are different types of entities and I think this is a niche on its own. And it's very important to understand the mechanics behind the NFT games. Because they're always a little bit different than if you don't understand how the game works. You might not be able to make better trading decisions if you decide to trade these kind of tokens. Another gaming trend is games within open seas. So this project is called the cryptoclidids, but there are several different options out there and such projects. And here you can just click on DFT and start playing right away within OpenCV, which I believe is super cool and innovative, you can develop this NFT and later increase its value because of the game and the hours that you have put in and probably to be worth more. But I think this is also a very interesting matter that in my in-person who opinion will be huge in the future because this is kind of like a free to play model where you can just go here and start playing with it and that's it. Then the last type of NFT projects that I want to show you, it's called crypto shack club. This one is a huge, huge kind of metaphors, plants laid out. It's really difficult to wrap your hand around because they have absolutely everything in my opinion. So first of all, they have staking. They will have an if two worlds metaphors or this is a very popular NFT project. You'll be able to play with your NMT within the metaphors of NF2 words. At the same time, it's a play to earn game and you'll be able to earn tokens which probably will be worth something in the future. And also wanting that I wanted to show you in this specific project is that you can burn tokens in order to create another different NFT from the collection. And I do believe this is also very powerful because basically it decreases the supply of this NFT, as you can see here. So crypto Shaq is originally a collection of 7,200 LFTs. However, right now they have 5,950. This is because this collection has burned like 1000100 or 350 is already pretty much you can buy like a goal for and another goal for and then I think they had another and if Dakota Chetty and if you have all of these three, you can burn it and then it will create another NFT that you can later cell again or use in game and do many, many different things. This is a very uniquely interesting project because it has pretty much everything. I think personal and I think it has a great potential. But yeah, that's pretty much everything for this video, it was very long. But I think it was necessary in order to understand and it's very important to put in the hours and start looking into the different matters and start comparing projects and see what people were thinking about these projects and how they develop in the future. And this will help you make sense and of course, make better investment decisions when it comes to it. 29. 4.2 Social Channels Research: In this video, we're going to focus on how to research the social channels of a project. As I already mentioned, Twitter is one of the main tools, but I would also look into their website, into their team if the team is duct, which just means if they are non-people or they're just avatars. And in general, I'll show you some tips and tricks that tell me a lot about the quality of a project. Something very important while we're doing this research at, unfortunately in the nFET space, we're still in the Wild West. So even if a project has crappy socials, it could still blow up. But, you know, if you have good socials and good interactions with everyone and with the community, this is definitely a good sign and definitely gives an edge over projects that don't have such well-built social channels. However, the opposite is also true. If you have good social channels, this doesn't mean that your project will explode and everything will be just roses. So let's look into several examples of good and bad projects and show you what my processes and how do I research those. We're gonna start with cool kids walk. This is a project that is meeting right now and that's why I wanted to share with you because it's very interesting to see the development. The first thing that I do is just go through their Twitter and the first thing I noticed is they have almost 60 thousand followers. This is quite a significant number. It's a 5 thousand pieces collection. They have their artists here, which is duct. This is a good sign. However, the first red flag that I get is that not many influencers, there are four are following this project. The next thing that I will do is to just scroll through their leaders tweets and see what the interaction is. For example, in this bins tweet, we have 1000 likes and more than 500 comments, which is a good sign. In the next one we have 500 likes and 370 comments. Again, fairly high number compared to what their overall number of followers is. If you ask me what is like a golden ratio, I'm not going to be able to tell you this is, I think black magic and there's no hard rules. I'll definitely look for something with more than one or 2% engagement compared to their followers. But the best way to do analysis is to just use a spreadsheet like we discussed in the Twitter video and just compare different projects. Once you have like 40 or 50 projects on this list and you know, which are performing good and which are relatively good projects. You can benchmark every new NFT project that you are researching against those and determine if they have good interactions or not. Something to keep in mind is if the posts and tweets or about a giveaway. And here you can see that the, any interaction with this tweet is a chance for a waitlist. These kind of tweets are different and they will have a lot more interactions. You need to differentiate between those and the more generic tweets that you are seeing. Unfortunately, with this project, every single tweet is like an interaction. You get a waitlist. And for me that also is a red flag because they don't have many tweets that are just discussing the team or what are the planning or pretty much no information about this project that just giveaways and partnerships. And this is kind of fake engagement for me and this is something that I will be very careful with. The next thing that I liked doing is go to their first tweet ever. And if I scroll long enough, I'll be able to find it. In this case, it's from February 17, which was a little bit less than two months ago from when I'm shooting this video. And as you can see, it's white lists, giveaway tweet and there are a lot of interactions. And then the next few tweets are again about whitelist giveaways. And there are plenty of interactions and as you can see, they were growing. So I'm not sure that, therefore wars are bought it, I don't think they are, but you never know. It's just that they've grown narrower organically, but through giveaways. And this doesn't always create the greatest of communities because people are here for the free stuff, for the waitlist and for the potential to flip this NFT and make some money on the side. This doesn't build a strong community. So again, this is another red flag for me. The next thing that I will do is go on top. And since we have information about the artist, I'm just going to copy his handle and see what comes up there. Hears. And as you can see, he has only 33 followers. And she's not been very active. This tweet is almost from a year ago and before that there were not that many. Both that he had. So this is another red flag unfortunately. And if we go back to their Twitter, the next step that I will take as go to their Discord. But we're going to have a separate video on this. And as you can see, this court in this case is invite only, which I also don't lie, but that's for the next video. However, I do have access to their discourse and to their website. So I'll go on their website here and I will just scroll through it, just try to make sense of it, see if I like it, see if it looks nice. Or someone from Fiverr did it for like ten bucks. And in this case, I'm not very impressed with the website and with the actual art. They have their roadmap. We're gonna discuss this extensively in another video. And then they have their team. And that's what I'm here for. I want to see who's their team. And if they're duct, if they're visible, if they're known people. And the good thing is that this guy is probably the IRR of this project. It's called pneumonia Babbage, and he has a LinkedIn. So definitely go check him out. And if I click on this link, I'll see his profile. And as a first step, It's always good when you have a Docs team. So in this case, this for me is good. However, when I go on his LinkedIn profile and if you have ever been on LinkedIn, you know that when you have just one connection and you have pretty much no experience on LinkedIn. These are red flags all over my head and I really don't like this just because this is very easily faked. This might not be a real person, it might be just a stolen personality. And even if this guy is real and he is the creator behind this project, this is, again, not a good sign. He hasn't made any effort to update his LinkedIn profile. So again, another negative for this project. If we go to another guy who is the artistic kid, probably this is the same guy that we had the Twitter on. Let me just compare. Yes, here we have his Instagram. So let's just go to his Instagram. And compared to his Twitter, he has a little bit more forward, so around 700 and forwards. And I think he has been a little bit more active. So this last part is from four days ago, evil project has its own Instagram page, which is not very popular out. Definitely go and check it out and see what they're posting. However, the main work there I will be doing is definitely on Twitter and also on their website. Another thing that I will do is to just copy paste their handle here. And I want to see what other people are saying about this project. If any other people are saying about this project, anything. And I will just go through the latest tweets and try to see if there's something interesting. However, in this case, I don't see that many interesting things. Pretty much this is the summary of a bad project that I wouldn't be investing. This is solely based on the social research. So you can see this is a very powerful tool to determine if you should invest in a project or not. Now let's look at another example which I believe is a little bit better, and it's called mutants Sheba club. This project has been on my radar for quite awhile. I think they launched a while back and since then they have been building a lot of hype and a lot of reviews and so on and so on. So I do believe that this project made a much better job in marketing themselves than many other projects. I remember their Discord was again locked and you're supposed to be very, very fast. And the art overall looks good. And as you can see, they have 200 and almost 50 thousand followers on Twitter. And then you can see that there are followed by many people that I actually fall. So this is definitely a good sign. It's a 10 thousand and if T-SQL collection, which is pretty standard, and then you can see that their review is in two days from shooting this video. Again, this is very useful information and I can again do the same thing. Just scroll through their bowl, see what's going on, see what the rate of engagement is an compared to their number of followers and also compare it to other hyped projects similar to this one, I will definitely jump and see what people are saying. As you can see, there are not that many giveaways and people are just excited about this project. As you can see, there are some comments and even pictures, which I do believe is a good sign for the people that are engaging. Many, many moons. Boys are trying to push this and yeah, I cannot wait for this to take off. And so that is very typical for the crypto space in general. And the overall vibe that I'm getting from these comments is that there are many people that actually like this project and are excited about the review. So let's go back to their Twitter page and I just continuous crawling and I'll see you that they have many reviews of their art. But now what I don't see here is a lot of information about the actual project. So again, here, there is a boat and their supporters of this event, if I'm not mistaken, which is good, they're partnering up with different NFT projects and events. However, I really don't see much information about what their plans are or maybe information about their team. And I don't think the team of this project is docked, but there's no information here. So what I'm going to do is to go to their website, which in this case, compared to the previous one, you'll see that it looks very nice. In my opinion. There's some animations and it's spooky. They're showing some of the art. There's a little story, it has been this year and so on. These are unless touches and definitely add to the hype. You can see that they have their roadmap and here is their team. And if I decide to click on his picture, let me see where it will take me and it takes me to his Twitter. And in this case, this guy has almost 36 thousand 4s. He's been working with the MBA, Ubisoft and so on, so on. So definitely you can see the difference between this project and the previous one. The team is obviously doctest. This guy is obviously a creative artist and it has some background. So these are all green flags in my mind going off and telling me that this project has higher probability to do well in the long term and also in the short-term. If I go back to the website, I can just also do the same for other people. And this guy is also quite popular on Twitter. And it looks like it's their technical guy and there's some engagement is also on his tweets. So all of these is very positive for this project. One last thing that I will check is other social links. So in this case they have an Instagram and I'll just go to their Instagram, scroll through it, see what people are saying. I'm not gonna be paying too much attention on their Instagram, but still it's good to know what's going on here and how they are behaving overall. And this, I think covers everything for the social channels. It's an art form and you will see that once you get more and more experience, you'll be able to just skip some of these steps. Because, for example, when you see a team that is now ducks and you might have a rule like me that I'm not investing in projects that I don't know who the team is. You'll just leave the projects and move to the next one. But if you want to go dive a little deeper, you can use all those steps and with time you develop a little bit your own style and you'll be able to do better research as you go. Now let's jump into this court and discuss it separately because it's one of the most powerful tools out there to determine if a project is any good. 30. 4.3 Discord Analysis: This video will be dedicated entirely to this Court. This Court is probably the most powerful platform for NMT projects. Pretty much older communities have a discord and you should join each of them separately because there is a unique information on discord that you cannot find anywhere else. And I want to go through the whole process of joining their discourse and also what makes a good discord and what makes a bad this court. And what things you should be looking at whenever you're joining either a new project or an established project. First of all, in order to get a discord link, you can go to ICD-10 tools for example, even the free version has this. And also if you have a Twitter account and you go to their Twitter, there should be a link to the discord if this court is open because sometimes there are cases where the discord is closed like this example of cookies that we looked at, they have an invite only this court. And you should be aware if you're really into a project like for example, the mutants Sheba club that we discussed. Sometimes they will have a link and then they will be inviting people for like ten minutes or they'll have like 50 invite only. And if you're really quick, you might join their Discord. However, I'm not a huge fan of this and personally, I never tried to chase the discourse of a project just because this for me creates extra hype and this is not always good when we're talking about and if Ts and this could lead to having a community that is just formally going into this project and they're not there for the long-term. So just keep this in mind. Now let's go to ICE tools and like one or two projects that I wanted to join their Discord. And let's use this one quirky book superficial. Here we have a link on the side with their Discord. And if I click, it should send me to their Discord. And in this case, right away I see a snapshot that they have a thousand followers online, Our of almost 7 thousand members. This is a relatively small discord and always, always keep in mind these numbers because what you can do is again, benchmark them. You can have a simple spreadsheet and you just put the numbers like how many of them are online, how many members they have and Toto, and probably a good ratio is to have at least ten to 20% online if you have like just very small number of people online, this means that a lot of the discord could be boarded, so pretty much there no real people. And also this leads to lower engagements in the channel. And they usually, it's not a good science right from the bat. This is very important information. If you are actually using the mobile app, you'll be able to also to check this, the goal, I want to join this quirky books and right away I'm sent to a verification page. So everyone has this. And if I click the interactions here are, I think pretty simple. You will see that all the channels here on the side are now unlocked. This is like a security feature for each discord. And sometimes they might be using like a boat to do this or some other platform like a collab land that we discussed is different for each Discord, but you definitely need to have some kind of verification in order to see all of the channels. And now we can just scroll through them here. First thing that I noticed is that they always have some kind of a boat that tells you basic things about the project. So in this case, it's the supply that it's sold out already. And what are the total number of members on the Discord? And the very first thing that I will do is right-click on the icon and I'll just go to privacy settings and disable private messages. This is to avoid having any kind of scammers trying to scam me. And then also you can change the settings for the notifications because if you join enough servers, you'll be pretty much all day long in this court and there'll be so many notifications, so I want to limit them and sometimes I just leave it to nothing. And then I'll later it did on every single channel. You can also do the same thing. If there's some important information or event, you can add notifications for that period. Now let's just scroll in and see what they have. For example, announcements is always unimportant channel and now always look into those first and then we have information about their roadmap. And this case, this is also key feature over Discord they should have this official links is also very important and that's why sometimes I prefer joining first their Discord. And I know that these links here are official and I can click on them. And I can be sent to their original Twitter or any other website that they have linked. Sometimes the projects here in the information will also have information about how to whitelist. And we're going to discuss this in the next section. But in this case, they have frequently asked questions and pretty much it gives you basic information about this project. What was the price, and so on and so on. So another feature of a discourse of already launched Project is that they have a collab land join or some kind of verification for owners. And this will probably unlock different channels. I'm going to show you another project that I'm part of and the extra channels that they have. And then you have things like general chat like art house, like meme competitions. Sometimes you might see common threats like food or pets and also, for example, mental health in all these are different channels where people can interact with each other. Once I've just scrolled through there, this code, the first thing that I'm trying to see is if the information is well-structured and it's easily accessible, sometimes there are plenty of channels and I think this is kind of a well-organized, not perfect, but it's well-structured. And they also have voice charts and so on. So pretty much wealth structured this court. But sometimes you might see discourse, they're all over the place and they have either too many channels or not enough information. And once you get some experience, you'll be able to differentiate even without starting to read through things. I do believe this is a sign of how well the management is managing the community. Once I've done this, I will dive a little deeper. I want to get familiar with the project. So maybe I'll look into their roadmap first and maybe if they have a website, I'll jump to the website, look through the website, and then I'll go to the announcements and see what are they talking about an if actually people are being transparent. This is something very important that I will be looking at if they're communicating well with the community. This means that they provide enough information and they don't just hype everything and hide everything from the community. If they have regular updates that it's good. And also, I want to see what are actually they doing. So if they have a roadmap, are they delivering on this roadmap? And I'll just scroll, even go further back on their announcements and just check how the project is doing. And another thing that I will do is go through their announcements and see the interactions here. And if we go to one of the latest ones here, you're gonna see the number of interactions. So in this case we have 36 12th mine. I don't know what's the total number of my math is not perfect, but let's say they have around 60 interactions on this specific announcement, and that is not a very high number. Again, you can have a little spreadsheet where you put the average number of interactions compared to the average people in the Discord server. And you'll be able to benchmark this through different projects. But what I want to see is more interactions because if you cannot make the people in your community interact with a simple both by just clicking on an icon. That is a bad sign, definitely a bad sign in this case, I'm not seeing that many interactions, which definitely is a red flag. Another thing that I don't like on this course specifically is that they're very short. So I'm thinking they're spamming a lot about whatever is happening in the project, but I don't see much substance in the announcements that they're showing in a bit. I'm going to show you a different discord and you'll see the differences. So overall this discourse specifically, I don't like the number of interactions and I also don't like the type of announcements that they are making. Once I've done this, I usually jump into general chat or any of the other chats. And I'll just scroll through what people are saying first-time gonna see how many people are reacting with this chart, how many people are writing something here? And see how fast the text moves. In this case, as you can see, it's not very loud if you have a bigger community, trust me, the general chat is pretty much unbearable. You can just follow the conversations and then I'll be seeing what people are saying. So for example, he hello, verify, Good morning, good nights, just memes and so on. This is definitely not a good sign. If you want to have a good community, you want to have people that have pleasure in their discord and that they're discussing things not just what's the floor price or good morning, good night, or when is this going to mint? But they're actually trying to help each other. They're trying to educate, for example, in DNF, DSpace, or in general, they have a lively community. This is really hard to detect in the beginning, but once you've gone through a 100 this course, you'll see the differences and you'll definitely be able to determine what is a good community, what is a strong community that potentially has the hour to move the project further and have a very high floor price by just flippers that you know, they're here just to make QuickBooks and leave. And that is very important. And you can definitely notice this in general chat and what people are saying and how they're interacting. One more thing that I will do is look who are the main moderators. And for example, if the artist and the owners of this project are online. And also if they are interacting with the people, you can do this by the Search button here. And it's a very powerful search on this court. And you can type in from WHO. So if you see the user of the creator of the project, and also you can decide in which channel you are looking in. So for example, in general chart because if you are looking into the announcements, obviously the name of this guy will pop up. Hopefully it will pop up quite often. But if he's in general chat and trying to help people and discussing things, that's always a positive sign. Now let's jump into a different discord that I'm a member of and it's the robot knows they have a very popular NTT project, which is kind of a low key blue-chip that hasn't exploded it. And as you can see, we again have similar structure. So we have some basic information here about the number of holders. We have the verification rules, the announcements, updates, roadmap, FAQ, the official links. They have giveaways, general chat, and also we have a chat for the verified collectors. In this case, I am a Roboto ulnar and I have a separate chat within this community and I can chat with other Roboto owners and get closer with them. Even if we just scroll through this chat, you can see it's totally different. People are interacting. There are long boats from just one user broadly responding to a question and so on. People are helpful in this community. In general, I really enjoyed this community, another channel that you might see in such kind of already established communities and also people that are owners have like an alpha chats. This means they are trying to provide some information about new projects sharing between other flippers of LFTs in the project. And I think these are also added benefit of owning such NMT is definitely not all projects have this and not all the information that they have in here is great. And probably you won't be able to track absolutely everything on every single discord. I don't think that's possible, but it's unless to have and if you're new, I definitely recommend to just scroll through these, interact with people and ask your questions. This is the most powerful thing about this course, and I encourage you to do this with every single project. It doesn't matter if you're new and the project is new and you just want to get some information. Or if you are very experienced, if you ask questions in the community, you'll be able to feel how these people interact and if your question actually gets answered, sometimes I would even raise a ticket in the community just to see if the owners are reacting quickly and if they are helpful whenever there's an issue to be solved. If we get back to this community and we will go to General chat again, you'll see that there's mostly like GM, GM, GM fan and so on. Not that crazy interaction levels. But keep in mind that this project is a well established one. I think it's already at least six months since they launched. And I'm not expecting the general chat to go crazy. This is true mostly for new projects. Whenever they launch and before or trying to get on a waitlist, this will get nuts. But I think definitely also on older projects, It's a good indicator. And as you can see here, Yes, there's some good mornings and good nights, but if we scroll up again, it'll be able to see that there's some conversations that are longer than just three or four words, mostly. However, what I will do is again, go to the announcements channel and I'll just go through everything that they have done in the last month or so. And then I'll benchmark this against their roadmap and we're going to discuss the roadmap more extensively. But if an older project especially is delivering on their roadmap, this is definitely a positive sign and it's definitely something to consider because in the long term they will keep delivering or they have the chance to keep delivering, which will increase the value of this project. And if you are a long-term investor and you have done the research on this project, this could be a good indicator for you to either keep the investment or leave the project if you see that they are not delivering. And definitely this could be clearly seen through the announcements. In this case, Roboto are quite active. They have a strong community of other projects that they are partnering with. They had a live meetup in LA with wonder piles, which is another popular project. And they have game nights and many, many other things. They're doing partnerships with different projects and so on. I think it's really cool and you see the numbers of engagements here. It's much higher than the project that we saw. But again, I need to benchmark this against other projects in this category because robotics have a lot more members on their Discord. And this means that the percentage wise, I'm not sure what the number will be here, but definitely something to keep an eye on. This is how I do my Discord research. And again, with practice, you'll be able to do this much faster and just with a clear glass of like 510 minutes, you'll be able to tell a lot about a project. Now let's move to the next video. 31. 4.4 NFT Art: In this video, I want to discuss the art on NFT Projects. Art in general is something very, very subjective. And if we look into different projects on the NFT space, you'll see that there are some weird things that have been considered art and also there are some projects that pretty much JR is the last thing that you'll be looking at. But still I do believe that some people are looking at this as especially newbies. If they see something that looks cold, they won't dive into a deeper research and see what's behind the art and what is the utility of the token. Or maybe you know, what the project is about and what benefits in general it gives you. And one example is this guy, Justin over sono. He's a photographer. And his ceiling pretty much his art, which I do believe that NSGs will have a very, very popular application amongst such kind of artists like photographers, painters, and so on. And he has these unique photographs of twins and they go for crazy money are like 300 or ethereal for this one. And somebody wants like a thousand Ethereum for this picture right here. This is just one case of course, and they're not that many artists and photographers that have N of t is the number is increasing, the most common one that you're gonna see it as something like this. Do those is a very popular project that's actually considered a blue chip. And you can see it has a floor of 14, a theorem currently. And this is their art. I mean, it's snap, ugly, but definitely it's not a Picasso and it's weird. People consider it sometimes creative, innovative, or wherever. For me, I don't understand it. I'm not an art guy. And generally speaking, when it comes to entities, yes, I definitely look at it and if there's a project that I liked the art on, I will have some kind of a bias. But if art is bad, doesn't mean that the project is bad, Definitely not. So there are many, many examples like this, for example, MF wars. This is a project that blew up recently. The floor was like 0 points to a theorem or something like this. 0.3 Ethereum. It went up to six Ethereum and currently it's sitting at a few floor. And as you can see, this is probably someone that sketch this on a piece of paper and then digitalize that and meet and if Ts from it hits, it's ridiculous. But the actual project is very interesting and they have many different things going for them. I wouldn't judge them just based on d'Art V. France from Gary vein or truck is another such kind of projects. This is art drawn by Gary van or truck himself and it's not crazy, but it gives you a lot of benefits. This is like a fifth grader painting here. Just look at this. I mean, come on man. And this goes for 13, a theory of what this is, Harry vein or CERC. And I know why people want to buy this for this much Definitely. Now another one example is cool cats. I think the general, this is a matter like the doodles and the cool cats you see kind of a cartoonish view on LFTs and that's something that you're gonna see all over the place. And I'm not against it to us in cool cats and enjoy their art. I think it's cute. It's creative people in generally like it. So definitely something like this could be a good NFT. And then you have more Academy who is a very popular artist. And you can see that there's just one item for sale, but it's pretty much pixelated. And there are many, many projects there are pixelated, but still people like pixel art sold. I wouldn't judge them just based on these types of settings. Another project that I really liked the art on is a zucchini. I think these look very, very cool. And I'll definitely want to print one of these and just put them up on my wall. I think it's pretty cool. Actually. This is also a blue-chip. This is like 23 A30 floor currently. It's in the anime Meta. And actually this started the whole trend of Asian art, or maybe not started but really popularized in the NFT world. I believe this project has very good fundamentals also. But again, the art is just likable. I don't know. Maybe it's just me. It's, as I said, it's very subjective. But I really like this. I can definitely see this on my wall whenever you researching, keep the art and mind, but I wouldn't definitely put much weight on it unless it's something really, really nice and it's unique and it's just something that I can relate to. I think that's important and many people do by entities because of the art. So just keep this in mind whenever you're doing your research. 32. 4.5 The Roadmap: Roadmaps, in my opinion, are very important part of every single project. And I personally like to give a little bit more weight on projects that have roadmaps and that have good roadmaps. However, what makes a good roadmap is really difficult to determine experience and developing a sixth sense for NF2 projects, I believe, can help you determine what is a good roadmap and what it's not such a good roadmap. Let's just jump right into it. And how show you what I mean when I was seeing all of those things. So we're looking at a zucchini, which is a very, very popular project. Usually a roadmap can be found on the project website or on their discourse. So in this case of a zucchini on their website. And if we go to the mind-map, different projects also might call the roadmap differently. So it's a mind-map or if you have a monkey project, it might be the monkey map or whatever. You know, there are different names, but pretty much the goal is absolutely the same to give us some basic information about the vision of the project and what they want to deliver in the future. The goal of NSGs shouldn't be just to treat them and pretty much tried to make money on a quick flip. They need to be executing and have longevity. This is what would make a project successful and actually differentiate it from all the others. You can discover clues for this. Their roadmap, usually projects try to say, okay, we're gonna deliver this by this date. Then the next step is this one, and we've got to deliver it by this date. However, a zucchini is a little bit different and you'll see here for example, if we click on vision and value, you're gonna be seeing just very general stuff like what is the values like the community first and dope **** only, trust the process. All those very generic thing that people say just to attract your attention. And then if you dive a little bit deeper, we're going to see that they are planning for the metaphors and also they'll have physical goods. And if we click here, the development part is the street where and the collectibles and also the expanding of the core team. However, this is not telling me a lot about the projects plants and that is the main problem with the roadmaps are lucky is an extremely successful projects. They have launched fairly recently and they have been a success right from the beginning. But when you read that, their roadmap, me personally, I'm reading it. I'm like, what makes this project so special and what are they going to be delivering in the future? Many of the statements here are super vague. They have some key words like merchant lies, and metaphors. You'll see that when you're going through many different roadmaps, you will see a lot of doors keywords that are super hyped and people, when they see them, they go like, oh, well, but it's not nothing new and it's not nothing special. And if you remember, as we discussed in the beginning of this section, It's very important to find something unique about this project that differentiates it from everything else. And in the case of a zucchini is their community. They have a super passionate community. They're very strong in this department. But by reading just their roadmap, you won't be able to see this. That's why it's very important to kinda put your entire investment strategy to test all the time and use all the different things that we're discussing in this course. One thing I want to show you also on the Lucas roadmap is the seedlings. They liked to use those marketing words. They sound very, very sexy, very typical. Again, they will have a DAO and also bean, which will be like a token. This is very much every single project has some kind of these keywords. And I want to jump into another roadmap for you can see what I mean, this is the cool monkeys whitepaper or roadmap, and it's more typical one, cool monkeys is not such a successful project as a zookeeper. But look at the similarities. They do have staking, so they do have their own token. They do have their metaphors plan, and they do have a store of this March won't be like a real March, it will be a digital one. But still you can see that there are traces in every NFT that they offer exactly the same things. When you dive deeper, they haven't pretty much nothing in common these two projects. But just be careful when you hear those buzzwords, what is behind them and if the project is actually delivering on all those promises, or they just relying on the hype of these keywords. In the case of the cool monkeys, I do believe this project is fairly interesting and also they're actually delivering on their roadmap. So it's not a brand new project. And when they started, they just launched the collection of 10 thousand and they had this beautiful roadmap laid down, but now they're starting to deliver. So first they have staking launched, so they had their own token and you can stick your NSGs on their website and the experience is smooth and easy. And then they're working, I know on the breeding of the monkey. So sooner or later you'll be able to have babies. And if they are able to deliver this, this will be again, another positive for this project. However, if anything that they do fails for some reason at some stage, this will definitely affect the performance of the token. And also even if they deliver, if this is something very generic or the market niche for this is very saturated, people need to be aware of this because this might not bring any hype and people might think this is another one of those projects with staking and breeding and so on. And we have seen this 1000 times. So just keep this in mind whenever you're reading through road-maps. Also another thing to consider, no matter how beautiful the roadmap looks and how many things they have on their roadmap and they're promising, there'll be delivering. And even if they're delivering some of those things in the beginning, keep in mind that, for example, to create a game that they're promising on their roadmap. They need a lot of manpower, a resources to do this. And again, it will not be guaranteed that they will be able to do it. Because if they are, for example, developing a proper game, this could take years and there's so many things that could go wrong. And many of the founders of these projects don't have a lot of experience and they don't have a solid team behind them. So pretty much they're like startups and that's why if T's are considered a high-risk investment. And I think this is one of the main reasons because there's not a lot of experience in the space and bringing much is just promises at this stage. So just be aware of this when you are reading through the roadmap and especially if the team has docked and you see that they have experienced and other projects and they have been delivering, That's always a good sign. And this means that there's a high probability that they're going to deliver on this roadmap, however, and it is again, Another big however, even if the team delivers, even if it's something great and it's unique, this doesn't guarantee you that the project will succeed in the long term. Because again, NSGs are also driven by hype and by community. And it's really, really complex in my opinion to sort out which will be the best performance. You just make well calculated bits and then you have to cut your losses early or annoy fewer in for the long term, you need to be aware that this will be capital that is locked for quite a long time. So keep all these things in mind whenever you're doing your research and especially when you're looking into the roadmap of different projects. 33. 4.6 Key Stats: In this video, I want to go over some of the basic stats that I look at whenever I'm evaluating an NFT project. For the video, we're gonna use an example of the project, rock borrows. And we're going to go over some of the basic stats and let me show you what they are. Most of this information could be found all for free on open sea or on the website that I showed you. We're going to start with ICT tools. And the very first thing that I want to know is how big the collection is. And in the case of robotics, it's 999 or ten K collection. And even if we go to Open see you can see this right away. It's right there on the top here. And this is pretty standard number for an empty collection. However, if you have a higher number of NFT, so higher above ten k, This means that it's not a very scarce collection, and this means that the floor price could be lower in general, of course, there are exceptions of the rules, like for example, some blue-chip projects like the mutant APR globe, there are floor is extremely high. But usually it means that when you have higher number of NF TCM collection, the price of DNF ts will be generally lower. So I definitely like seeing lower number collections like for example, 7 thousand is a popular number. Some collections even have 5 thousand entities in them. They're even more scarce like just one K collections and so on. And so the next thing that it's very important in my opinion is the royalty fee that you are paying to this project whenever you're selling your LFTs. And in the case of Roberto's, It's just 4%. The industry standard is close to 10%. And I really enjoy when I see projects that have lower than 10% of royalties. This means that the project is not greedy and also that you'll be able to break even a lot earlier. And as we discussed before, make sure you always calculate your break-even point on every single entity even before purchasing it. The next few numbers that I like to look at are on the flips dot Finance website. First of all, what's the floor and what's the historical value of the floor? So this way it gives me an idea, where are we at right now? And in the case of Roboto, you'll see that we had a massive bump somewhere around here. The price went to close to two a theorem and then it dropped down noun, it's pretty much historical low levels of around zero-point for a theorem. And this could serve you very well when you're doing your overall research and you're seeing where the project is right now. And maybe this could be a good buying opportunity because it's at historical laws. However, maybe you want to wait just to see an uptrend coming into this project. It's just part of your analysis and I do believe it's important to know where the floor prices compared to its historical performance. The next one is the holders. And again, in Roboto example, the holders count as going up, which is something you really like to see. Probably you can see here there's a downtrend in the last month or so. This is something to keep in mind, but as you can see, the number of holders is 5,600 currently. And anything above 50% of diversification between the holders. I think it's very good. The next one we're going to look is the list ID number. And again, this is some data that is helping us understand how good the communities and how many of the people are holding their robots. In this case. This was a book with the open sea and I think that's why the graph is not completely accurate. We were supposed to do list everything because they were migrating because of some book. And here you can see there's a very low number listed, just 500, which is like 5% from the collection. Again, this is a very positive sign. And if the market stars training upwards, this means that the supply could not be enough and the price could start increasing on this project. Once I've gone through these numbers, I can go to NFT gold.io and then just a little bit deeper go into the holders of this project. And robotics has pretty good data. They have 75% of the holders have only one NFT, about 18% have two to three and f t. So this is a very good diversification with very low number of whales. In this project, the holding period for the owners is on average above three months up to a year, and it's around 73% of all the holders are holding for the long term. And over 21% are holding more than 30 days. Again for this project, these are relatively good numbers. And if we go back to the first graph holding distribution, if you have above 90%, 80 or 90% in these two categories, I think that's a good diversification. And also if the holding period is above 30 days in three months, most of the community, if it's here like again, 70, 80%. This is also good sign. All of this data is very important, but I'm not going to base my investment decisions only on this type of statistics. Again, I will just make a full picture and at the end I'll decide if it's worth to invest in this NFT project. 34. 4.7 Derivative Projects: I want to tell you the story of my first ever NMT purchase because I think it's the perfect lesson of what not to do while you're doing research and also what kind of projects you should avoid, in my opinion, at any cost. Let me show you first of all what I actually bought as my first entity and it was from this collection. Larva dot's at that time, I just saw it pumping on ICT tools. There was a lot of volume. It was relatively cheap and I decided, okay, it's not that much money, you know, I can take the risks. I'll try to flip it quickly, make some book and just get the rush and the excitement of getting into DNF t space. I was super inpatient and eager to start treating FFTs. I bought right at the beginning, I think the price I bought it for was 0.07 or something like this. And there was a lot of volume, as you can see here, the toolbars, there was a lot of trading volume. Only a couple of days later the volume started drying out and the price stopped pumping. So even if I was trying to sell at 0.12 a theorem, I would still be at a loss because of all the fees and all the guests and everything. I didn't put my NFT here for sale. And as you can see, the price crashed right back down to pretty much to 0 and there's no volume whatsoever if we just go through the latest sales, somebody bought one today and the previous CEO was like two or three days ago, which is not what you want to see in the collection. So my first error or mistake was that I really rushed into this. And my second biggest mistake was that I didn't do any research. I didn't know anything about the project. I just saw pumping and I was like, Okay, it's cheap. Let's jump in. So pretty much I skipped all the steps that we're discussing in this section and also in other sections. And another mistake that I made and I think it's also quite big is that since I didn't do the research, I didn't know that I am buying into a derivative project. In what is a derivative project? This is pretty much a collection that is based on another collection. And in this case we can even read it here. I didn't even do this. I didn't read the description of the project, but otherwise I'll probably have known that this is a derivative. And it says it's inspired by the smash hit collection larva lattes and also the lovable style of doodles. So these are two popular collection set the time. Do those still is very popular. And this is just a mashup of these doodles here. And the larva lapse. Pretty much nothing unique about this project, even from the art itself, which is like the easiest thing I think to the liver in the NFT space, the actual art, ever since I made this mistake, I have a rule for myself which is never buy derivative projects. There are many, many different reasons why I didn't do this and I advise nobody to bite their relatives. But the few main reasons are that the art is not unique. They don't have that much utility. It's usually just quick pump and dumps and they're writing on the hype of the bigger projects and the list is really very, very long. However, sometimes you might not know that a certain project is a derivative right from the start, But definitely they could be using a lot of cues from a popular project. And let me show you such an example. We have already discussed a zookeeper several times and the art is very unique when it came out pretty much, it was just one of a kind nobody was doing such kind of enemy are nowadays riding on the success of a zucchini. There's so many anime projects, and many of them look like the derivatives of a zucchini. And I want to show you one. It's called a coma origins. Nowhere you will see any reference to a zucchini. It's not that obvious like the doodles that I showed you. But if you look at the art and if we click on items here, you'll see that it's not exactly the same, but definitely you can see the cues and the style that is similar to a zucchini in this specific case, you can still make pretty good money with trending this Meta. And if we go to the activities tab, you'll be able to see that this collection has significantly increased from 0.2 Ethereum to around 1.6. A theorem which is crazy gains. And currently the floor price is still at 0.7. And theorem, which means you're still in profit if you bought an early improbably, this project has some kind of utility and its unique project on its own, however, obviously has a lot of cues from a zucchini. So even if you decide to treat derivatives, make sure you do your research and you go through all the steps because out there, there might be some good derivatives. Don't get me wrong. But in my opinion, these are not the projects that will stay here for the long run, at least 99% of them. There is one exception for now that I've seen and I do believe as a good project. And that is the Habib. In my opinion, this is also kind of a derivative art project because they have very similar cues like the crypto plants, one of the most popular projects in the space. However, they have a lot of utility behind this and also they have been innovating and building in this project. And I do believe they're here for the long term and they will be able to succeed if they continue executing on their plants. However, I'm not invested in the Habib EUS or in any other of the derivative projects out there. Just because I have this mental stopping my head that they have taken cues from already a successful project. I personally don't like this mindset and I don't want to get involved in such projects. But as I said, if you do your research properly, I'm sure that used to be able to make some money from those projects. 35. 4.8 Finding New Projects: Now that you know how to do proper NMT research, I want to show you several resources that I personally use when I'm looking for new NFT projects. This could include older projects, they're off my radar and also brand new projects that have been minted yet. The very first source that I use as always is Twitter. I have already shared a lot of people that you should be following and are great for NMT education. But also they provide a lot of information about new projects and old projects and they just share their opinion. And by that bring awareness to the specific project. And then later on I can see this and if I'm intrigued, it can start doing my research on this project. One big thing that I need to mention before I show you all of this, do not blindly follow people. If someone tells you that an NST project is the best and it's bullish and it's going to run to the moon. Don't trust these people. They're quite often wrong also they have different perspective, different wallets. So imagine, for example, this guy that I'm going to show Zeneca here has a wallet of, let's say, a 100 Ethereum and his bedding data project that costs 0.2 Ethereum, we'll go to the moon. He might throw some money at it, but definitely this will be like one or two or 3% of his net worth. If for you one or two, a theorem is a lot of money. Maybe you shouldn't be following this guy because he has a completely different risk tolerance from you and just be aware of it. It's great to get information about different project. And then the most important thing is to do the research by yourself. And let me show you this example on Twitter from the list of people that you can follow, definitely going for most of them, or just look through the list and see who gives you good vibes and just follow those people. One of those guys that I fall is called Zeneca 33. And he has his own discord. He's working on an NFT Academy and so on. But he's also sometimes sharing information about different projects and he's just one of the guys. Even if I just go to my homepage on Twitter, the first thing that I see is kosher book having a giveaway for mind-blowing. And I have seen this project already several times. Now that I know that it exists, I might go in and even if I don't win a waitlist spot here on a giveaway or wherever we're gonna talk about this in the next section. I still want to do my research and I still want to follow up with this project and see what's going on and see what exactly they're building. And if I just scroll down, probably you can tell that I have a lot of energy content on my Twitter. For example, Los Muertos is another project that pops up, okay, I might go up research, what is it about? And Twitter is also very good at making suggestions. If you follow certain topics like NETs and crypto, you'll be able to see content even from people that you are not following. This is a very good resource for finding new and older and if two projects that might be popping off. The second favorite resource that I have is YouTube and I have already shared the list of people that I'm following. But just to mention here around crypto for example, he makes videos every week or so. And he usually have tricky titles like Masie and if T is don't miss out than the DNF team, bull market is back in all the, usually have such kind of formal titles just because of the algorithm of YouTube and just because people are actually more prompt to click on these videos when they see some kind of a title that is in stealing formal in people. However, we feel just ignore the titles and you jump into each video. There are plenty of projects that they tell about and you can later research and find if this is a project that you'll be interested in and if you like it, several guys on YouTube do such videos, one of them is ranked Crypto, then it's Bento boy, I think also Popeyes, pigs jump. Crypto is quite regular on YouTube and you just watched some videos and find if you're interested in these projects, another very powerful to obviously is this court. And if you get into this court and you start joining different communities, you'll be able to see that there are a lot of information about NMT project, actually, from everything that I just shared in this video, you will be overwhelmed with the project and the number of projects that you'll be seeing in any kind of channels. And it will take you probably months and years to, if you want to research all of them, that's pretty much impossible. So personally, what my style is, I look for different people and if I see one project popping up in different people accounts, then I might start getting interested because this means that they're more eyes on this project. It might be actually a good idea to research it and to see what the force is all about. If we go back to this court, usually their channels which say alpha and in this case, it's the Roboto NFT project. And they have a channel dedicated to alpha. If you just scroll and engage with people, you'll be able to find some project. And actually, I really like this quote because if you personally have a project and you're researching a project, you can share your opinions in this group and see what other people think. Maybe somebody else knows more information, or maybe they find out about this project from you. So this way you will also be providing value and it's a very great way to communicate about NFT projects and find about new projects and just share information. And that's the power of Web three and in general of every single community, once you start joining different discourse from different projects, you'll be able to see these alpha chats and then you'll be able to interact with people. It will take your time. Don't get me wrong. It's not just like you can just sit for 15 minutes and that's it. All of what we're discussing takes a lot of time and even if you don't invest in the beginning in LFTs, trust me, if you decide to really go down the rabbit hole, this could take you months to just assemble every information that you'll find because it's just so much, trust me, it's overwhelming sometimes. But I think it's also necessary if you want to become good and if you want to be successful in the long term in DNF T space. 36. 4.9 Research Process Summary: We covered quite a lot in this section. That's why in this video, I want to do a quick overview of everything that we need to do. Also, you will find a PDF which includes a short summary of all the steps that you need to be taken when you're researching an empty project. And now let's just run through them one more time and let's just use this quirky books as an example. So first I will go to their Twitter or if they have this court are also joined their Discord. And then I'll look for the official link. So in this case, it's a collection that already launched and they'll go also to their open sea page then our goal to IC2. So pretty much I would just open every tool that I'm going to be needing for this research. And then a one-by-one, I'll start looking into the different steps from my process. In this case, I will go to their Twitter and then I'll just scroll through it and see what it's going on. What is it about? Is their engagement in all those thinks that I'm seeing. Also, I'll try to scroll to their first tweet ever see if it was soon or if it was for, let's say five or six months in development, this Twitter account, check their Twitter score on social blades. Then I'll go through some of the comments like what are they seeing if the communities vibrant or if it's just memes and so on. I also look at who's following this project, and in this case, Mathematica of the influencers I am following, is following this project. Once I've done this, I will go to their Discord and starts crawling through there this courts. The first thing that I do is go to the announcements page and just go back in time, see what the posted, what kind of posts there. And most importantly, what is the engagement on each of these posts? Here, as you can see, we have around 8500150 interactions per post. And that is actually not bad for a size of almost seven k This court members, I will check how many of them are online and then I'll see what kind of announcements that people are posting if the project is in development, if it's a brand new project. For example, domains went well if it's a new project or if they're delivering on what they have promised on their roadmap, if it's a more established project of these things will be clues for my research, will help me differentiate this as a good or a bad project. Then I will go to something like a general chats you how people are feeling, what are they saying? If it's at all active? If the community is vibrant and they're helping each other, or they're talking only about the floor, Bryce, which is trust me, never a good sign. What I also do in this court is just scroll through their channels, see how they're arranged, maybe pop in their voice chats. If someone is talking in general, I will just try to feel the overall vibe of this community. Once I've done this, I'll go to the roadmap and our check. What they exactly is that they're planning to achieve if they do have a website, I'll definitely go check their website. This way I'll be able to tell how much they invested in this website or if it's just $10 from Fiverr in this case, I think they have put a little bit more efforts, but nothing really special, at least in my opinion, for this project and not a lot of information. And even the shrift here. Sometimes I dive deeper like such thinks the font of these letters here that doesn't look very impressive. It's broadly written just in the back of a garage or something. Not very impressive. That's again, just my personal opinion on this project. Then I'll go through the roadmap and see if it makes sense to our tried to analyze what kind of project this is. So if it's staking project, if it's just broth out pictures, if it's a game, if they're planning a metal verse and all the other buzzwords that you will be able to see on pretty much almost every roadmap if it's a more established project, I'll check of course, which phase they are at right now. And if they have delivered all the other phases before this, also, if it's a new project, I will just look for clues how realistic are the things that they have put on their roadmap. And if in reality they will be able to actually achieve or they're just there to impress people. Also, I will look for unique science of this project. Are there doing something that nobody else is doing? Like, for example, launching quacking ducks comic series. I have seen this and some project, but not in many, many, many projects. However, if we see the opening of the quacking merch shop, That's pretty much every single project out there. This is not really impressive for me. Then I'll go to something like ICE tools and try to see what's the supplier of this project, what is their royalty. So I would just look at the chart and try to understand if it's a new or old project. As you can see, this is fairly new. So if we go to a seven-day chart, will be able to see more details. The Bryce is trending upwards, which is kinda nice. You can see this trend line here. Then if it's an older project, I'll go and research their community further on NFT goal or something like this. Also, I might pop in onto flips dot finance, not always, they have the latest information on new projects, but if it's an older project, I'll try to understand the floor price, what's the history of it? The count of the holders, and all the other things that we have already discussed. Of course, I will just jump to open sea and try to see what's going on here. You can find a lot of information absolutely for free on open sea. And in this case I see that it's 8.9 K collection. We have very low number of owners, which is 2.6 K. I usually like this to be above 50%. The floor price is down in the gutter, although we saw an increasing trend on IC dot tools. And if we go to activity, I'll try and see how many are they selling currently, there is some volume here, as you can see, there's some sales in the last hour or so There's going on. So this project is definitely currently pumping. I will try to understand what is the reason behind this. So again, I'll go back to this core tried to analyze if there is an announcement or something that triggered this pump and try to find the competitive advantage in this project. This will be most of the cases when it's a quick flip, but if I'm looking for a long-term investment, I would definitely not look into buying into the bump, maybe how wait for price to stabilize or even retrace a little bit and then try to find a better entry. Then I'll see what are the items for sale out of the collection, we have around 1500 items for sale. So this is above 10%. I think 10% is a good number if it's anything above it, this means the supply of the failing people is quite high. And this means that there will be difficulty in increasing the floor of this NFT. And I will scroll through the floor and just check what it is. It's not very thick floor in this case and which is actually a good sign in my opinion. And once I have collected all kinds of information that we already discussed, I'll try to make my investment thesis if this is a long-term hall, if it's a quick flip, if I want to print it, you know, I'll just try to stay away from my bias. Try to benchmark this project with other similar projects. And then I'll just decide if I want to invest or not. And that's pretty much it. I hope this section was helpful and I'll let's jump into the next one. 37. 5.1 Types of Mints: This section is dedicated on the process of meeting an NFT. And also we're going to look into how to get white listed for different projects. And what are some things that you need to be aware of while you're trying to meet your LFTs. In the first video, I want to show you actually water the types of minutes that you will see while you're researching and trying to mend different NFT projects. So the first one that I think it's the most popular and actually it's the best solution for you to have a whitelist spot. This means that every person on the waitlist spot can meant before everyone else. And this way, they don't have to fight for gas. It's everything fixed. You know that you will get your NMT is 100% and that is the best way to have a whitelist bought for a given project. The next very popular solution that it's used is a Dutch auction. And we already discussed what is a Dutch auction, but mainly projects do this because it's probably the best way for them to make a lot of money. And let me show you this example of a project called the imaginary ones, and they will be hosting a Dutch auction. So first of all, as you can see, they have a private waitlist sale. And usually the projects who use combination for the mentoring process or there were always have like a waitlist. And then the second phase will be either a Dutch auction or some of the other options that we're going to look into in this case, they're private sale is on this date, it costs this much and this much is the supply. And then for the public Dutch auction, they have the details. You need to have a little bit experienced with Dutch auctions in order to understand them better. I'm personally not a great fan of Dutch auctions and I personally don't participate in the church, and this is just my rule. However, I think it's good to know what a Dutch auction is and if it's a really good and hype project, maybe you want to take part in it. There are always conditions. So for example, this one says that it will be at 50% of the open sea floor Bryce sold and once people meant it like these guys right here on the private list, they'll probably list their LFTs or at least some of them on open sea. And this will determine the price for the Dutch auction, at least the starting price of the Dutch auction. Then this is a very important rule that a drop of 0.1 Ethereum every 15 minutes until it reaches 0 to eat. And also you have a max quantity of one minute per wallet. These are usually conditions that you'll be able to see way before the Dutch auction. And also you can see here the supplier, so 4,500 almost from the total number of DNF t's in this collection will be offered on the Dutch auction. And what could happen because I know this project is super hyped and there are many people interested in it. I'm pretty sure that this will erupt very fast. And actually the Dutch auction, what might happen is that everything will be sold at 1.5 Ethereum and you won't be able to bit unless you have this much. Why this happens is because it's a very popular project. There are many people involved and it's a supply and demand first of all, but then also the formal really kicks in because people believe that this will be the price that will make them a lot of money because they have already seen, for example, the open sea floor price. In this case, the open sea floor price is at five ethereum currently, and the Dutch auction starts at 1.5 Ethereum. People will be crazy not to pay the 1.5 directly and then listed for like five Ethereum and have toward a3x profit. So just keep in mind all of this information whenever you decide that you want to participate in Dutch auction. The next style of mint that you can see is a free mint. Usually projects that are not very popular use this. I really liked Freeman's because they're also provide easy access for beginners. And you can do research and just find three minutes and participate in those. They're not completely free, but you're not paying for the actual entity. You will be paying only for gas fees. And of course, if there's a gas war, which we're going to discuss a little bit later in the section. The price of DNA can actually jump quite high on free minutes, especially if it's a popular free mint and many people are looking to it like for example, this kicks bass. It has only 250 of supply and they're just 18 thousand followers on their Twitter. So I'm guessing that this will be very hyped free meant, and the price for gas will be quite a lot unless they do a waitlist meant the next popular way to manage your mint is through agreement. So this basically is like a raffle, so you need to register with your discord. You need to fold the project on Twitter and then you need to connect your wallet and you get it into a raffle for a project, in this case, it's called IC monsters. And after a while you will know if you want and if you can meant this project. And I think this is a very good solution, it, because it avoids the gas wars. For example, if you have a white list that let's say is dedicated for half of the supply and then you have agreement with a raffle. This creates, I think, a very good experience overall for the people that are meeting. Yes, if you're not lucky, you won't be able to meet the NFT. But I think this is very fair compared to the next one that we're going to talk. And that is quite crazy. And this is basically the simple public sale. So pretty much, Let's say we have a waitlist and you have like 4 thousand from the supplier on a waitlist and then the remaining 6 thousand from a tank key collection is offered on a public mint. And the public means usually get crazy, especially for hyper projects. So imagine if they have like 10 thousand or 50 thousand people that want to comment on a public means. This means that you will be competing with all those people and they're ready to pay more gas, which creates the gas wars and so on. And it can really increase the costs for d and f t. Also, if you are a regular folk and you're not really invested into entities or you're just a beginner, you won't be able to meet because many of these public mints are bought it. This means that people have a bot and he can put up like, I don't know, 10 thousand attempts for one minute, two minutes, DNF t. And this brings your chance to actually meant an entity VT very, very low numbers. So definitely out of all the solutions, I believe that public minutes are the worst, but I see more and more often people are doing like raffles and the pre-made solution is also used, which I think is great. This means the space is evolving and it will be more fair distribution of all the projects there are choosing to go this way instead of a public meant. That's everything for this lesson. And now let me show you how you can actually, when white lists for any project. 38. 5.2 Whitelist Grinding: In this video, we're going to discuss how to get waitlist boats for the projects that you're interested in and have an minted hit. There are many, many different ways that you can grind for white lists and that is the perfect term to describe trying to get a waitlist board because it involves a lot of work sometimes. But I think if you're a beginner, it's definitely worth it because you don't need that much of money. You just need your time and your creativity. And I really want to show you some tips and tricks that will definitely bring your waitlist game to the next level. And you won't be just another guy trying to get a waitlist. Because trust me, as the space evolves, the people that create the project and they're giving away the waitlist sports. They also get better and more creative at selecting people for waitlist salt thinks there are very simple won't work for you. Let's just start with the simplest one and that is waitlist giveaways on the phone, Twitters, or any kind of other platform you might see giveaways on. It's very simple. Usually they have a giveaway and they have three waitlist ports. In this case, you need to follow these guys. You need to like redo it and also tag three friends. This is there a way of promoting the project? And as you can see here, we have like almost 7 thousand entries. It's a very low chance for winning waitlist sports through these kind of giveaways, not against it. You can try it. And trust me, you can enter, I don't know, hundreds of giveaways on Twitter every single day. There are that many projects and that many giveaways. However, this will be like winning the lottery in the percentages are very low and I'm not a huge fan of this. I don't really like doing this what I prefer and it's something similar to this is another outside easy way to try and get waitlist spots is if you're in a community and if your community actually makes those waitlist giveaways. And just as an example, the community that I am in here, when I click on new giveaways, there will be plenty of giveaways pretty much every single week. And I can just join since I'm a member and I'll get an entry. But again, my chances of winning are not that high because this specific community, I think it has around 3 thousand people in it and we usually have more than three waitlist and probability it's like 2030, sometimes even a 100 waitlist spots for this community. My chances are much higher, but still they're relatively low. First of all, and second of all, it's all about look, if you want to be consistent in anything that you're doing, especially in the empty space. You can not rely solely on luck. However, there are some communities that guarantee you whitelist spots either through staking their NFT, like for example, Casey g, This is key, decrypt organic. I know they are doing giveaways, but also if you are taking your NFT for a certain number of months, dan, for sure, you'll get a waitlist sports every month or so. I don't remember what was the exact mechanic. Nobody guarantees you that the waitlist ports that you win are actually four good projects. And there's something that we're going to discuss in the next videos, but still it's another fairly easy way I would say too, when waitlist spots. However, if you want to really get serious about whitelisting on a project, and especially if it's a good project, if it's a popular project and it really has the potential to go Open Value. And you have done your research and you really want to participate in this project from the start, there are several different ways that you can grind for a waitlist spots and usually the actual projects will have a section in there discord and let me just jump into one discord grid quickly. This is called IC monsters. They'll usually have a section where it says waitlist and it will show you and it will tell you what you need to do in order to increase your chances to whitelist. Sometimes it will be just a raffle, there will be a giveaway and they will tell you, okay, you want or you didn't win. So again, it's a game of chance. But very often and pretty much all communities have this. There are several things that if you do, you'll have much higher chances to get a waitlist spot. In this case, we have a raffle here for waitlist, but also they're always clues on what you need to do. For example, they are very vague here, but being active in the servers, that is a clue. And then here on the Update side we're going to have 20 waitlist ports for people that create fan art and also five waitlist spots if they followed the instructions on this tweet. And they might have different competitions and Fan Arts. And if you are actually creative and you have some skills, you can use this and create something unique for this project and the founders, usually, if you're really good and if you read consistent, we'll see this and will appreciate your work. Several different ways that people grind for waitlist ports are just through engaging in the server. So if you go to, let's say general chat and you just start chatting with people. However, be very careful with this because there are so many people that just write the random stuff just because they know that if you write a lot, you increase your levels on this court and you'll be able to have the chance for a whitelist. It becomes really saturated and really crowded. And sometimes people even use boats to do this for them. So they set it up that it has some random phrases and it just post them on chat. It doesn't even make sense sometimes. So be careful with this. And I will definitely say, don't do this. And if you're really active on the chat, just look for questions, try to provide value. Answer these questions. Also just jump to different jobs, not just general. For example, if you're good in the gaming area as they have here, try helping people here, or if you're into sports or training sessions or wellness trips. Now, this is all information that you could be providing for the community members. And trust me, the owners are seeing this. Another very good strategy is to interact with the ulnar. So first of all, you can ask them, how can I waitlist if there's no obvious information about this? Just ask them. There will be more than happy to answer your questions. And if they don't, this is might be a red flag for this project, then you might not want to get involved in it. Another great way is to make suggestions for the project. It also tried to improve the community overall by providing value. So you can do an analysis of the project, or maybe you provide alpha on different NMT projects. Also, if you have some kind of on the audience, this is a very powerful tool. This will help you promote this project if you really believe in it. And this helps the community, it helps the creators of this project. So I'm sure this will give a lot more weight compared to just spamming the general chat. So you can create some kind of videos for TikTok or YouTube, or even on Instagram or Twitter. You can create threats with describing why you like this community and this project, and what they should be careful with. If they're bolting on their Twitter or something interesting. You can tack the creators and the project and have some kind of creative tweet managers, random, Yea, I'm excited. I want to have a white list. Please provide me this whitelist. Know in general, just provide value and try to stand out from the crowd. And if you have some kind of special skills, I will definitely reach out to the community. Like for me, I know about crypto and I'm grouped or trader and I do this actively. So I might write to the community, Hey guys, I'm into this. If you're interested, I can do this completely for free. I can provide charts, for example, I can explain market updates, what's happening on the market, and I do have the skill, so I can offer it and it might be of interest of this project. So this could be potentially away for me to get a waitlist spot. So if you're good in something else, feel free to contact them and see how they feel about this. Another way to do everything that we just discussed is to go on the voice chat and provide the similar type of value to the people in the voice chart. There are not that many people in voice chest usually. And sometimes the owners and the creators and the modes over given an empty project will jump. And we'll see who's in the chat, who's interacting. If they have a amaze, maybe you can ask them questions that are relevant and good. And all of this will create the impression that you are serious about this project and that you really want the waitlist and it will provide value to the community long-term. And the creators usually want this. They want to have a strong community because it will guarantee the long-term success of the project. I think we covered quite a lot and there are a lot of good tips for waitlist granting, but until you actually start doing it and you start getting involved with different projects and trying to whitelist. You won't be able to feel what exactly is the recipe that will work for you and for different projects. So definitely you have to go and get your hands dirty and try different things. Be creative with yourself and try to provide evaluating. This is the key point here, and obviously not always you get the waitlist spots, but if you use the tactics that we discussed, am pretty sure that you have a much higher chance. And I think it's worth it, especially for beginners because white lists are kind of the best way to get involved in DNA empty space because you will get the best price for the project. You won't have to fight with gas and everything. And also, if you have done your research properly, you have the highest chance to actually make profit on the sale of this project. That is everything for the video. And now let's move to the next lesson. 39. 5.3 Live Mint Example: In this video, I want to show you a specific example of a line segment that is happening right now. And this is the cool kids walk project. We already discussed this a little bit earlier in the course. I'm not going to be mentioning this, but I do have a whitelist spot and I just want to show you how to mint and also what are the issues with this specific project and what you should be doing during a mint. So it's very simple to meant an NFT. You go to the website that they have provided and this is usually done in their Discord. So if you call to the discourse of the project and then you go to announcements, or if you go also to official links, you'll be able to find their website. And then when you go on the website, you'll be able to see a window or something where you can just meant your LFTs minting is not that different from buying an NFT. So if I just click minutes, I will need to connect my ward. In this case, I do have MetaMask. And once I connect the wallet, I will be able to meet, in this case, one or two LFTs. And if I click meant here, I will have my MetaMask pop-up again, then I'll have to pay gas fees for the mint. And at some point this will show up in my wallet and I will have the couple of NFS. Of course we're not going to be doing this on this project, as I said, because the first red flag that I have while minting is that only 266 entities have been meant it until now. And keep in mind, this is not the public minutes. This is waitlist myth and it has been already one hour after this started. So not many people are minting. And this is always the first red flag. If you have a waitlist for a project and there's a certain window during which you can meant, make sure that you first see how meaning is going, and then decide if you want to Mint. So this is the first thing to notice and definitely I'm not going to be meeting this one. The next thing that you should be doing is being all over their Discord. And in this case, I will directly jump into general chat and I'll just go through what people are saying about this project. And as you can see, many people were saying don't meant root ball memes, it's a rug. Don't meant people **** themselves in all these crazy dock in this general chart doesn't give me any conviction arrow in this project. And if we just scroll through this, you'll be able to see poor guys who meant it. No, just another meme and Sawzall, I'm laughing, but this is not really funny because some people actually spent money on this NFT. They just got bought and this is really the dark side of DTFT space. It is insane. The amount of people that lose money on LFTs. I think it's normal because we're in the earliest stages and this is a wild west. And until the market matures, I'm sure that there will be more situations like this, and that's why I want to give you everything that I know. I want to show you all these things live so that you can stay safe whenever you're investing in LFTs. And if we jump to the present of the chart, you will see it's very active currently just because the mentor is going. There are a lot of people discussing this in general is just not a pretty picture. The next thing that you can do also while maintaining, even if it's a bad project, you can go to ICD-10 tools. And I'm on the page of cookies. And here also you have a summary of some of the information. So for example, here you see how many of the LFTs have been minted and also what are the sales doing here on this graph? There are not many sales, so every dot Is a sale and you'll see that prices just simply plummeting down. It's invalid below the mint price. So this is never a good sign just one hour into the mint. So definitely this is the worst possible project to invest. And also you can go on open sea and actually open the collection. And if you hit refresh regard to the Activity tab, we will see that there are few sales at 0.050.06, but they're also at 339 and so on, so on. So really, really terrible stats and I'm feel really sorry about the people that actually meant it and now are trying to get out of this project. That's pretty much everything I wanted to cover in this video. Perfect example of a rook ball and of mentoring process gone wrong. So be very careful out there. If you have a list, it's not necessary to miss this. Just apply the steps like follow how many people are minting, what are the prices? What are people seeing in their Discord? And just understand better what the project is about. And if you see many red flags that we already discussed in the research section, definitely don't go for the month just because you have a waitlist. 40. 5.4 Minting Tips: And now that you know how a mental works in this video, I want to show you some things that you should be doing during the painting process. In the very first thing is that even if you have a waitlist for a project, it doesn't necessarily mean that you have to mint 100% of the times. Yeah, sure. If you have done your research and you know what the project is about and you truly believe in their roadmap and the team looks solid, great goal and meant to this project. But if you have worn a waitlist spots, like for example, me with the cool kids and youth, not very convinced in the project or during the research process, you've seen some reflects. Of course, I think the best option here will be nuts to mint, because this will be money that probably he will never see again. That's why you need to be very picky when you're mentoring projects and also deciding when you want to grind for a waitlist spot, you need to do your work before this. The next thing that you should be doing is during the actual mint, just go and check how is it going. And this is especially true for a waitlist meant if you have to be on a public sale, for example, it won't be possible to just sit and wait and see how many people are minting. Especially if this is a really hyped project because it will probably sell out in minutes. However, if you have a waitlist, but definitely do the first thing and just check like half an hour, one hour after the meeting has started, how is it going if everything runs smoothly? If many people are meeting in order to do this, you can also jump into there, this court, as I showed you in the previous video and just look for clues for the meeting experience our people meeting. Are there any issues quite often their projects that they get their discourse hacked, which means that they might change the link. Or for example, there might be a problem with the smart contract of the NFT, which means again that it will cause problems with the meeting process and there could be risk out there. You'll be able to know this right away if you're on the discord channels and you see what people are saying and how they are behaving. Also something very important during a mental process and I believe this could be a red flag, is check, how long do you have to Mint? So if you have a whitelist, the healthy thing to do is to have at least several hours to complete your minutes. This means that there will be no formal, there'll be no gas wars. It can run smoothly and people can meant even if they are, for example, at work or anything else. If projects do this and leave a big slot for the meeting process, I definitely think that's a good sign. And of course, if projects leave just half an hour for a whitelist means that's a red flag because this, by nature creates formal and people want to rush to mint. And usually this means that the project wants to rush to collect this money and probably runaway with it. So just keep this in mind whenever you are meeting. One more thing to consider is how many minutes are there allowed per wallet sold? The healthy number for me is one or two. But sometimes you might see that you can meant five or even ten NFT spur wallet. This again for me would be a red flag because this means that the project will look to sell at faster to a lower number of people and later on they won't have good owners diversification, which I do believe it's important for our project. Again, this could create selling pressure because the people that meant that five or ten, we'll look to sell at least half of them to break even or to take some profit and so on. So definitely it's not a good sign for me if you have more than two minutes per wallets. And the final tip that I wanted to share with you is about public mints. These could be very tricky and gas wars can go crazy. So I advise you to be ready for the public meant like ten or 15 minutes before and check earlier before the announced time if you can start minting, because sometimes the meeting process can start a little bit earlier and if you're quick enough, you'll be able to meet before everyone else in this way, you won't have to pay too much for gas. Again, there could be gas horse and the price could increase for those transactions. But if you're competing with less people just before the announcement time, I think you'll get a better chance for getting a better deal on the gas prices. This is everything for this video. And in the next one, since we already mentioned it 1000 times, I want to show you what exactly a gas war means. So let's jump right into it. 41. 5.5 Gas Wars: Gas wars are one of the most annoying things in the NMT space. And in this video, I just want to walk you through it, understand what exactly is a gas war and also how to protect yourself against it or actually how to win a gas war. In the beginning of this course when we were buying the gummies NFT, you saw that the first transaction didn't go through. Actually, if I was trying to buy DNF t, I agreed to pay the given gas fee, but since there were so many people are trying to buy these NFV t's. I didn't manage to buy the NFT, but I still beat the transaction fee. And pretty much this means that I have lost a gas war against someone else. Why is this happening? The ethereal network is built so that whenever you transact it doesn't matter what you do if you buy or sell and if Ts or just swap different tokens on a decentralized exchange, you need to pay the so-called gas fee. This is how the network operates and pretty much this is a fee that you pay for the person or the minor that is processing your transaction. However, the system works in this way that if someone else is willing to pay more for a transaction, this means he'll have a priority in the queue. All the miners will complete his transaction faster with priority because they will get more in fees in the winter transaction fails on the Ethereum network, you actually have to pay the price for the transaction, which really sucks. And if you're not experienced, can really cause you to lose quite a lot of money. Why is this whole thing happening? Pretty much it's happening because the network of a theorem has limits to the numbers of transaction that it can process. There are a couple of ways to handle a gas war, and the first one is my preferred one. And I personally tried to stay away from those periods where there could be a gas war. So for example, I don't attend public means that are not with a specific reserved place, either through a raffle or through widely spot distributions for the entire collection. Then I also avoid buying such NFT. Is there high volume? They are very hyped and I avoid buying the floor once because there'll be so many eyes on them that definitely you get into a gas war. Am I missing some opportunities? Sure, but overall, I'm okay with this. This is just my style, my personal preference. And if you want to get involved in such kind of projects and public mints and so on. There's a second solution. And it's very well explained in this thread. Actually I'm gonna link it in the resources. Basically, it describes how to win a gas war. So this means that you'll be willing to pay a higher gas fee and you need to change some settings in your MetaMask account. And this will lead you, of course, to have a higher cost basis for the NFT purchase. But if you're really into this NFT and if it's maybe some hype the project that you really want to flip for big profits. Then I do believe that this strategy makes sense for me personally. It's not my preferred one and I'm not an expert on it. And that's why I will link this thread because it explains it very well and it will show you all the settings that you need to do on your MetaMask account. Let me just move myself in order to make sure that you have higher chances of winning a gas or there's no guarantee you can still lose, especially if it's a really popular project. And so people are using boats and are much faster than you. But I do believe this is unnecessary step if you really want to buy a certain NFT. One more thing I want to mention in general about gas. Sometimes you'll see that gas is higher than usual, and this is usually because there's a lot of activity on the Ethereum network. This happens either if a big project is maintaining or if they're air drops or any other activity that requires high volume of transactions going on. And this is causing usually for the gas prices to spike. And I personally try to avoid these times of the day or of the month whenever it happens. And definitely one way to mitigate this is if you're living in a different time zone, like for example, I live in Europe and the highest volume trading hours or when the US is awake. So I tried to buy my entities that I like in the mornings in Europe, this is when the gas prices are lower. I have seen this tendency and that's how I also avoid being too high gas fees. I hope this video was helpful and now let's move to the next one. 42. 5.6 Rug Pulls: In this video, I wanted to tell you a little bit more about rock pools. What exactly are root balls? And I want to start with the story of probably the biggest rock Bu, the last several months, at least, simply put, rock pools are pretty much projects there are out there and they're created simply to get them money of Dean investors and not provide any value. There are several ways to recognize a root ball, and unfortunately, it's not always easy to recognize workbook. But in this video I want to summarize all the things that are like red flags for me and some of them we have already discussed them, but I do believe it's good to have them all in one place. But let me start with the story of this project that's called pixel mom. And it was a huge project, massive hype around it. It was like a massive blade to earn pixelated game, which pixelated games are very, very popular. And as you can see from the image of this dragon, it sounds really cool. There are dragons flying around there. Cool things that you can do in the environment. And the graphics actually look very cool for a pixelated project. However, when the project launched and when we saw the actual entities, they looked something like this. I remember this guy here, let me just find him. He was a meme all over Twitter just doesn't look pretty and actually a lot of information came out later on later stage that these were all made on Fiverr for, I don't know, like 10 $50 per NFT. And this was also one that's got a lot of attention. Just look at this guy. I mean, nothing really compared to this here in this image and the older previews that they had when they were hyping up the project. What actually happened is that first of all, they had a massive hype, so they didn't launch their website, their road map or anything for quite awhile. It was just coming soon and they were just bolting video previews and so on of these cool images. So of course, this got a lot of people very, very excited early on. Then they had a Dutch auction for their Mintzberg ptosis. And the base price, the starting price was three ethereal, which at that time and still is actually quite a lot of money. And then because there's so much interest in the project and there were so many people don't want it to meet this because they thought it's going to moon. Everybody meant it at three ethereal. They didn't even go lower on the emitting process. Basically right now the price of pixel one, gen one is around 0.26. A theorem, this is the floor price and as you can tell, a lot of people got burned very badly. And later on the project came out and say, we're sorry, we did this. And we're trying to fix this and we're gonna do better and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But the fact of the matter is that they collected from the Mint around $70 million. That is an insane amount of money. I cannot even comprehend how this was possible, but it was, and many people, even the respectable people in the NLP community got born and they meant it big. So it wasn't just some random people that are just entering the space. A lot of eyes were on this project and a lot of influencers and so on. Mint it at three Ethereum. And it was kind of difficult to recognize, pixel them on as a red ball, but there were several different flags. And let me try to summarize all the red flags that I believe King be considered for rcb UX project. The first one is the very high it meant price. If a project wants to deliver something, if they're creating an nFET, and this is a startup everywhere in the space nodes that end if these are extremely risky. And I don't believe that anything justifies a very high mid-price, especially if you consider the fact that the project will still make money with every transaction of NFT. So it could be like five or 10%. For me if there is a very, very high men's price, I generate them to avoid these mints. And also for me, this is the first red sign for a potential Rock board. The next big one is if the team is undocked. So if you don't know who is behind this project and if they don't have a track record, that's definitely a red flag. But also if a team is dogs, do proper research and actually verify if their socials are actually real because they could be fake. We actually looked at such an example. If there's a project that has very little information or the LinkedIn profile was put there like four or five minutes. Again, this for me means that the team is just undock store, even if they're actually dogs. I wouldn't trust those people just because of the way that their social channels look same goals. If you cannot find a lot of information about the project and about their plans. If you see something like coming soon and very nice intro and everything. And they're just hyping up everything without a lot of information, just vague, a popular statements and people get crazy about this. Unfortunately. Definitely consider this a red flag. The project should announce well in advance before the water, their plants and why you should consider giving them money. That's very important, yes, motor in the NFT space just to make a quick flip. But still even if you want to do this, there should be some substance and you should know what this is. And you should be able to evaluate yourself if it's worth investing based on what they are promising that they will deliver, the next couple of points are related to them. And so if you have a very short window to meet the nFET and also if there are many entities that are allowed to be mentored for one wallet, it definitely for me, these are two very big red flags. As I already mentioned, this plays into the formal of everyone in the space and it's definitely a reason for people to jump into this because all otherwise they're going to miss this amazing opportunity. But this is the way that projects take advantage of the mentality of the people in DNF T space. The next thing to consider is actually if the art looks similar, so any copycat projects, any derivative projects, I consider them rock pools as a rule of thumb, even if they have some short-term success in the long term, I'm pretty sure that 99% of them will fail. And the last thing that is not a good sign is the community. You need to be in the community on this court and chat with people and see if they're actual people in the community. If everything is just full of boats, if they have fake followers. Also, if you are asking questions, some of them might be very provocative if they have a roadmap, but something is not clear and you're asking a very specific question and the founders are not giving you a proper answer. Or sometimes I have seen situations where the band people out of the service, these are all signs that the team doesn't know what to do. And even if their end goal is not to be a ball on purpose, this still means that probably this project won't survive the long-term and probably even not in the short term. And for me this again is in the category of being a root ball because till they will try to pump a lot of liquidity in this project and then take it away, put it in their pockets, and that's it, not deliver anything. So definitely keep all of these in mind when you're doing your research. Stay vigilant, and if you have even the slightest doubts, I have this rule of thumb. First of all, there are so many projects out there that there's always another opportunity to invest. But also, I have a small saying that I use. If you don't know, you actually know. If you're not sure if something is wrong with this project or it doesn't give you the good vibes, it's always better to stay away, because the very first goal of everyone investing in the end empty space is to survive and then try to make some money and profit and so on. I hope this was helpful. And I will let us move to the next section. 43. 6.1 Basic Rules of Flipping NFTs: This is the section that you have probably most waited for in this course. And we're going to discuss different trading strategies and investing strategies for LFTs. Before we do this, I do believe it's very important to go over some basic rules that you need to apply. And whenever you get into the space, make sure you have them on the top of your head. Because I think they are crucial for your long-term success. And the first one is that it's really hard to be great at each of the trading strategies that we're going to discuss. Just try to pick one or two in the beginning and try to get really good at them. And maybe also depending on your training style, pick your poison, just pick one or two, get excellent with them, get familiar. And I'm pretty sure that probably 80, 90% of your profits will start coming from this trading strategies that you're going to choose. Also, there's a different strategy for every market. So we go through cycles like bear markets, bull markets also hype cycles, maybe just one or two projects are really hyped. We're going to discuss different strategies for pretty much every environment out there that you're going to get. And of course, if you feel uncomfortable investing in some of the market conditions, that's also fine. Brings me back to the previous point. If you don't feel confident in one trading strategy, you don't need to apply it. The next one, stay on top of the market. What I mean by this, you need to be basically reading about entities being in the discourse, going into Twitter and everything, just know what is going on in the space. I do believe that's important. There are a lot of things, there's a lot of information. So make sure you just have an overview of everything that's going on. Maybe if you're a part of an alpha group, they have like a quick market summaries, but I don't think these are enough if you're really serious with DNF Ts. So just make sure that you get as much as information as you can. Because in this space that is very, very important. And this also brings me to the next point, know which are the biggest upcoming projects and major events. So for example, recently there was a board APR co-op land sale. This was a huge event and it's sucked a lot of liquidity out of the market. So if you're out there trading some small caps, that would have definitely been a challenge in these market conditions. So make sure you know all the major things they're happening in the space. The next one make bets on many different collections. In the next video, I'm gonna discuss how much to invest in how many FTEs to buy from a single collection. But from my experience, it's really hard to just invest in one NFT and this one to turn out to be a home run. It happens. I'm not saying it doesn't, but there are just so many projects, the environment is so dynamic. I keep repeating this, but it's really true that it's really hard to just pick one, especially in the beginning and just be a hormone and just make beneath and become rich and be laying with house money for the rest of your NMT training career. And even if this happens in the future, you'll see that it won't repeat itself that often. So if you have the liquidity, makes sure that with time you just spread your beds two different. And if the projects, because this will give you better success rate, the next one don't back holds, as I showed you earlier in the course with the gammas gang, it's very important whenever you see that our trade is going out. And if you kind of put it as a trade, because if it's an investment for the long term, it's a little bit different situation, but we're going to discuss this in the videos. Back hold. If you see a volume coming down and you see that this collection, it's not with high conviction or maybe something happens. Maybe there's a problem with the contract or they get hacked or there's some foot, just get out of it, take the loss. If you're a trader, and I've learned this from crypto, if you're a proper trader, just take the hill and move on. It will be better to do this because this also plays on your mental game and you start arguing with yourself, you should have done this or that, just move on, learn from their mistakes and continued in order to avoid this one way is to have a plan. That's our next point. If you have a plan, everything is much easier if you're looking into a project and you have a clear idea of what do you want to do with this project, invested in it for the long term or maybe just flip it or whatever else you want to do it. If you have a plan, this will better help you execute it and stay on course and not fall into the traps of bank holding or any of the others. The next one always do some basic work on the project. Even if you're doing a quick flip, you need to be in there discord. You need to be on their Twitter. You need to have basic information about the project chick, their roadmap check what people are saying. This takes no more than 1020 minutes when you get familiar with DNF D space. And I'm pretty sure that you'll be able to make some kind of a conclusion within the first five to ten minutes. And then you'll be asking yourself several questions that you want to find the answers to. There's so many tools, so many information. I think this is very crucial because there's always something happening in each of the projects. And you might find yourself not knowing something that is very important about this project. And of course, you need to put in the hours, as I said in the beginning, 100 hours of research or a 100 different project is a good benchmark. But also every single they after that, you need to put in the hours, just take this as a hobby but all four slash as a job because you don't if you don't spend like one or two hours per day on LFTs, it will run away from your Soul quickly because it's very dynamic. The next one is become familiar with all the tools fewer using. So if you're using for example, and if T naughts or IC2 or all the free tools that we discussed, even open C is a tool this court is also to tutor is also to make sure you're very familiar with all of these tools and you know how to work with them because this will cost you time and money in the future if you don't know how to do this and they're so powerful that can actually give you a natural, for example. And if she notes or any other petals, can really give you a niche from the overall market because there are many participants already that have experience. But there are also many new commerce. And if you don't use the tools and you don't know how to use them properly, you'll be at a disadvantage to everyone on the market. The last point is that 90% of all NMT money, I would say we'll go to blue-chip projects and what our blue chips, for example, board apes, maybe potentially a Zeki, cool cats doodles, all of these top projects. And if you go to Open CV and to the Stats page, you'll see the top ten or 20 projects that could be classified as blue-chip. And very rarely someone new comes along and just becomes a hit instantly. It takes time. Since I do believe quite of those projects will fail. So if you're training in order to build your ethereum stack, that is a great strategy. But keeping in mind that if you're in this game for the long term, I would definitely advise go and buy some blue chips when you have the liquidity. Because I do believe these will be the ones that will survive and all the other quick flips and scams sooner or later will disappear or maybe not disappear but significantly decrease. And also, if you have the money to buy the right blue-chip, trust me, if it doesn't triple or quadruple the price like the e'th that you are going to be making will probably be double or triple the amount from several flips that you'll be doing just because their prices are higher, but also in the move they really more salt. For example, a zucchini went from 28 to 38. This is just 50% gains on paper, but in reality it's ten, is that it's huge in the current market conditions. It's like $30 thousand, so it's a lot of money. And don't underestimate the power of the blue chips. That's everything for this video. And I was less jump to the next one and we're going to talk about how many entities to buy and what are the rules there. 44. 6.2 The Rule of 2 (or 3): Indiana, empty space. It's hard to know how many NSGs you should buy from a single collection. It's nothing like in the crypto training space where I'm coming from. There you can buy several tokens. You can still just one after that or maybe just take your initial investment out. Once you've seen some profit and then leave a runner, it's much more flexible and the markets are very liquid. It's not like you need to find someone to buy your stupid JPEG. And that presents a challenge because if you buy just one entity, you cannot fracture analyze it. Yet, maybe in the future we'll be able to do this. But you cannot just buy the nFET and sell half of it to take your cost basis out if it's really difficult. And that's why we need a little bit of planning, but also we need a little bit of higher investment in order to be able to have outside of proper trading approach to NFT. So there's a very popular rule and the space which is called the rule of three. So basically it means that you buy three entities from a collection that you like. And if you cannot afford three and f t is from this collection, this means that you shouldn't buy DNF t arrow. However, to be honest, I'm not a big fan of this because first of all, when you're beginning and let's say you don't have a lot of a theorem and a lot of liquidity. And that's fine if you just buy a one and if t from a single collection, you have the potential to make money. And also if you buy three and Nephthys from a collection, you also have higher-risk if the trade doesn't go in your favor. So there are pros and cons to each of the approaches. But I do believe that if you have the liquidity and if you believe in a project, you should buy at least two entities. This way, if it goes in your favor, you will be able to sell, let's say an a breakeven. Then the second entity you might have as a free-rider and you'll be a lot more flexible. So if the NFC decides to pump, you'll be able to hold it for longer. And if it goes down, yes, you might have a little bit less profit, but still you will be in profit and you know that have taken the right measures when you have taken your cost basis out hopefully with the first NFT. But as I said, if you're just beginning and if you have not much of liquidity, mine just one and if t is fine, actually, I do believe that, as we said, you need to diversify your beds. So in the beginning, if you buy just three entities from three different collections, I think that's fine in the future. You've done the work you have a little bit more Ethereum to play with, then maybe you can buy a second and if t from this or any other collection. And then if you really like it, you can go up and say by three or four or five. And if you're really confident in the project, this is actually one of the best ways to make a lot of money to find a good project and to invest or with many LFTs. And this is what some of the bigger trailers out there with a lot of liquidity are doing. So for example, they will go and buy several moon boards, which costs in the beginning they were like five or 60 theorem after the launch, and now they're like 20 plus a theorem. So imagine if you buy towards remote birds a lot of Ethereum, but these beds and these traits don't come that often. So that's why I wanted to kind of discuss this with you guys and definitely think about the rule of three, but it could be also true of two. And if you're a beginning, you can just buy one entity from different projects and flip it for some profit. If you decide to go down the road of buying more than one NFT from a collection. I believe that a good strategy is to average up or down when, i mean that you should buy one. Let's say now maybe in several hours or in several days by the second one, because depending on the market conditions, the prices really fluctuate in you might have average entry, which is better than if you just buy them at once together. Of course, this means that you might have a worse entry, but with time, you will start feeling this and you'll start knowing when to buy more and went to buy less, especially if we're in a downtrend and you'll see the price going down like for example, in this collection right here. You will see that first of all, it might not be the best investment to be investing in this collection. But you'll see that if you buy just one here and they buy another one, Let's see here, your average cost will go down in this, I believe also helps you sleep at night and brings the stress levels way down, at least in my experience. 45. 6.3 Making Offers: In this video, I want to go over one of my favorite strategies to flip LFTs and that is by making offers. This strategy, I believe is probably the best for beginners that don't have a lot of liquidity simply because it requires less of it. And also you're saving a lot on gas fees. And let me show you what I mean and how exactly I use this strategy. First of all, we're going to go to an entity project that I like and I want to invest in, which is script or shock club. In this case. Obviously you first need to do all of the other steps, like do the research and decide if this is a good project as also everything that we discussed in the previous sections. But once I single out a project that I want to invest in and I find it on open C, then I can do the strategy with offers. In this case, you can see the floor is at 0.17, a theorem at the current moment. And if I clicked on the Activity tab, I would see that it's been kind of steady floor in this case. You can see this last pump to say 0.7 or eight. A theorem. I don't think it represents the truth just because there are many types of different entities in this collection. So for example, you have golden golfers who, which are three Ethereum. You have counties that are 0.3 Ethereum. So these are all very, very expensive. But the level that I'm looking at is the goal for, and these are pretty much the floor type of LFTs. And that's why it's very important to know your collection. Because if you're just looking as a trader at the volume and at the graph, sometimes this might play a trick on you and you might be saying, I'm investing here and it's super, super expensive. Or why this doesn't represent the floor price right here. And there could be answers to this in your research, and this is the perfect example with the crypto sharp claw. In this case, I want to be making offers for some golfers because I believe right now they're at a good price and they have the potential to grow. And you can also take them and make profits via staking. And it's in general good project. So let's see how to do this. I click here on the floor price. And you can see here, these are the floor golfers currently. And what I can do, first of all, I need to go to my wallet. And right now I have 0.2 a theorem and I need to click on swap. And now I need to swap. Let's say 0.12 will be a little bit more stingy. And then I click here and I have to find wrap a theorem which is w e as a code. I click here and basically I need wrap a theorem to make offers on open C natural. Why is this and why you cannot just do it simply in a theorem you need to swap some ethereal for wrapped Ethereum. And of course this costs gas fees and you'll see how much it costs right now. But this is a necessary step in order to start making offers. And here if I click on Review swap, it will tell me how much my gas fee will be in this case, around $7, which is not terrible. And then I click Swap. And here we go, the transaction is complete and now I have wrapped a theorem. You can see this on your wallet here. Now you have the two assets, a theorem and grabbed a few. Now I'm ready to make some offers. Now you might ask yourself, why would I be making offers? And the first thing that you need to know is that when you're making offers, you're actually not being any gas fees. We looked at this in the section of OpenCV fees, but that is a very key difference because you'll be saving on gas. And especially if you're trading with low liquidity and maybe the entity that you want to buy as 0.01 or five or 70 theorem. This means that the gas that you're going to pay for the transaction will be a very high percentage from the overall price of the nFET. And by making offers, you can save on gas even if you offer the floor price that the entity is currently offered for. The second best thing is that you can make offers like haggling in all, Like, for example, when you're negotiating the price for an apartment or a car or wherever, you can offer the person a little bit lower price. And if he needs liquidity or he's not familiar with the markets and how they work, he might accept it. And this doesn't happen too often and that's one thing that you need to know for this kind of strategy. You need to make a lot of offers every single day. So this is a lot of manual labor and probably one in animal depending on the collections and on your type of offers that you're going to be making, probably a one out of 20 to 50 get accepted. And that's only if you're making reasonable offers. For example, what is a reasonable offer? Let's just go through the process and we can discuss this. If I click on this first goal for here, and the price is 0.17 Ethereum, I can click here and make an offer. So this will engage my wallet. I need to sign this and then I'll have this pop-up. This is very, very important. So first you need to set the price. And right now you can see my available balance is rho 0.12 Ethereum. And actually that's the offer I want to make to this person, 0.12 if theorem, be very, very careful when you're making offers and when you type everything in this little pop-up here. Because if you, for example, are offering something that it's at a price of 0.2. Let's say, imagine that 0.02 is the original price of DNF t. And you want to make an offer which is 0.012, so it's lower, but still you're offering some good money for this NFT. But if you make the mistake and you actually remove one of the zeros or you forget to put it. This will still be a valid offer and the person I accepted and this will be way above the floor price. I'm telling you this because I have personally made this mistake and it cost me quite a lot of Ethereum, but there's a simple way that you can protect yourself from this. So always in your wallet, you can swap only the wrap, a theorem that you will be needing to making offers in this collection, for example, 0.12. A theorem is a good number because this is the offers that I'm willing to make and this is the theorem that I'm willing to spend on this specific collection. And this way I have a safety net. I cannot offer more than what I'm actually ready to pay. And also I'm ready to pay this for just one NFT. I'm not looking to buy five or six or seven. And if I make 100 offers, only one will get upset accepted, and then the others will just cancel automatically. I put the price here, and in this case it's the maximum of a theorem that I have in my wallet. And the next very important thing is to have offer exploration. So if you have it for, let's say, a month, that is very dangerous because imagine the market is very dynamic and the price of these entities change very significantly. And in one month, we might go into a bear market. And this offered that you have right here, it could be very, very high. So imagine this collection goes to 0.02 a theorem and suddenly your offer is way above the floor price and you'll be overpaying. And also, if you want to cancel this offer on a later stage, you will need to pay gas fees. So that's why I said it's very important to be very careful when you're making these overs and when you're setting up on this window, I'll go back to the price that I want. It's 0.12 Ethereum. And then I'll go to offer exploration. And I usually set them to just one day. Usually here it says that the current time that you're doing this, this will pretty much expire in exactly 24 hours from do they you click here this box that you're accepting the terms and you're pretty much ready to go. So I can make this offer right here. It takes some time for MetaMask to engage and then I need to give the permission. This is usually a onetime fee, so I'm doing this for the first time on this wallet. So when I click confirm and I'm waiting for the approval, this transaction was for the first time fee. You maybe saw the message that was popped up before and now I can sign the actual offer online MetaMask here. You can see this is the approval that I need to give. And once I click sign, here we go. We have our offer right here. You can see here when you click on the actual NFT, if you scroll down a little bit, you'll be able to see all the offers. And in this case, ours is the best offer of 0.12 a few. And that's actually very important when you are doing your offers. In this case, ours is like 30% below the floor price, which is kinda steep. If this person accepted, this will be a very, very good price for us because right away we can flip it and actually make around 20% profit because of all the fees that are included. However, there's always like a thin line between what is considered a good offer and a really bad offered that nobody will accept. So I think something like 40% below floor price in general is an offer that problem nobody will accept or the chance of someone accepting it is very, very low. So I would definitely advice once you have done your research on the entire collection and you know what's a fair price and what's the price potential for this? If t, then decide what will be your offer and just start making some offers. So this is just one that we made. But once you have this amount of a theorem on your wallet, you can do as many as you wish. So just for practice, let's do another one. I just go on the second floor one and we can do exactly the same, make an offer, this pops up, I put the price that I want. And this is just one day and I click this, make an offer. I wait for the confirmation now it will be just one conformation. And I assign it. And that's it. Now I have another offer here, as you can see on this NFT, because this is not a very popular collection. There are not that many offers and I have not for here that it's the only one which is actually good. This means I'm not competing with many people and actually their boats that do these offers for people. And I'm suggesting you start doing it manually because first of all, it's free and you don't need to work with a bot, but also just to know the mechanics and nowhere to look. As you can see, you can make as many hours as you want. It doesn't matter that you have just 0.12 a theorem in your wallet. Once an offer gets approved and you get the NFT, then all the other offers will just fall apart. If we go to a different collection which is a little bit more popular like for example, the Deutsche pounds. You will see how many offers there are on every single nFET right there. If I click on just any random doggy right here, if you scroll down to the offers, this one has 45 offers. They're all at very different levels. So you can see this one is 40% below the floor, but these here are quite reasonable for 13, 16% below floor. And this means there's a high probability that the person might accept these offers. The bad thing on these collections is that, you know, there are so many offers that they are competing against each other. So in order for me to make sense, to make an offer and probably somebody might accept it. This means that I need to be the top offer currently on this specific NFT. I don't want to be just 10% below the floor. I want to be like 15, 20% below floor. And there's no chance in this specific NFT that might offer will get accepted. As I said, this requires very minimum amount of money to have in your wallet. It requires a lot of time. You can do this pretty much every single day, all day long. In order to build your stack of Ethereum because you need only a few offers to get accepted. And if you just flip them for floor price right away, you might be making 10, 15% depending on what kind of price you bought DNF T4. And another thing is, I like to do this also in a bear trend because in a bird trans people are not very willing to keep their entities. They want the liquidity. A lot of people get panicked, were very early in the NFT markets in general and many people who are inexperienced. And sometimes when they see an offer which is reasonable, they just want to accept it even if they're selling at a loss. And you'll be surprised how many people are selling at loss. You see that even on this NFT, which is a good collection, the Dutch bound, this guy here bought it for two points to a Ethereum. And three months after he bought it, he sold it for 0.6 Ethereum. And exactly this is the perfect example. He accepted an offer and you can tell by the sign here of a theorem which is kind of a being quiche or purple or whatever. This guy is sitting at a huge loss. And believe me, there are many, many people out there that do this and that's why it's worth to keep this in mind and to keep making offers and build your ethereum stack. 46. 6.4 Technical Analysis for NFTs: This is probably the most important trade strategy that we're going to discuss in this video. You can apply this one to all the others that are in the following lessons. We will need to do a little bit of technical analysis for the purpose of N of t. So we're going to do just some basic rules and I'm going to explain to you some basic rules. And also we're going to discuss volume and why is it so important in the NFT space? Let's start with board actually causes a volume in DNF t space. So most often it could be a very hyper projects or they might have a huge following. Great arts or the market is burning hot and seeing are there Theme starting that is causing everyone to jump on the bandwagon. So for example, this was a zookeeper back then and this tired the enemy trend. And after that fault, a lot of projects that had some short-lived success, but they pumped really hard and there was a lot of opportunities and there was a lot of volume coming into this projects. Another reason for this could be some kind of unannounced month if they were making some changes to the roadmap or if they are delivering on their roadmap. And it's some kind of a key partnership. Also. This has caused a lot of bumps in the past. Imagine like added AS or Nike or Puma coming into the space or some other big brands like Gucci started investing in NFT is these are all reasons for more volume and more eyes on the project that you'll be looking into. Another reason could be a celebrity that buys the Certainly NFT or talks about it in a talk show or something. Recently, Elon Musk changed his profile picture to a board ape. So there are all kinds of reasons that could cause a pump and the raise in volume. And I think it's super important to monitor volume and also to monitor the charts for something that I'm going to show you just now. First of all, we're in IC2 and we're looking into a project called ghost division. This is relatively new project and it has a very good volume and it's quite expensive. It's like almost four ethereal floor price currently is still hasn't reviewed about. We're here for this graph and as you can see, this chart looks very interesting. First of all, we see that the price bottomed out around here, around to Ethereum and then it went on boron here. And also it stopped around this level around for Ethereum. Then it broke below it. It retested three Ethereum and now it's continuing again upwards in the first row and technical analysis when you're analyzing entities that you should be aware of is the principle of higher highs and higher loss. And also support and resistance. Let's start with support and resistance. In this case, you can see that the Bryce was holding support around to Ethereum right here and then went up. And currently if we look at for a few here, it's acting as resistance here. It broke out of it around here. But it means that the price cannot go above this. And if it goes, it means that it has the potential to reach maybe up to five Ethereum. You can see this clearly in the beginning of the chart. So we had support and support is basically where price is holding and it's not falling. And then we had one reaction right here, another reaction right here around three Ethereum. And on the third or fourth attempt right here, we broke above three Ethereum and then reached almost 4.5 a theorem. These are the principles of support and resistance. You'll be able to see them in pretty much most of the charts out there. The second principle that is very important as higher highs and higher loss or lower loss and lower highs. And this is very simply put, you'll look at the pivot law or the pivot high of a table. So in this case you see this chart and this section right here. It was going down and it hits a low of around two. And then it moved up to this level, which was a high. So this was the fresh law here and this was the fresh high. And then it retrace back to the same level. So this wasn't a lower load, neither it was a higher law in this case, it was an equal law. But then you can see we had a higher high here, here. And then the low then was higher than the previous one. And then we had an equal law around here, another higher, high here, and then equal high. And then after that we went on a small beer trend in this chart. You can see this very clearly, I think, especially in this chart. And if we look at the broader scale, you can just say that for example, this was lower low here and then we had a higher law here. And it takes time to get used to and to start seeing those things. But the more charts you're looking at, I believe it will be much easier for you to understand what I'm talking about. Let me show you another example of a chart that looks quite different. So this project is called mind-blowing. We already looked at it. And as you can see, this is their chart and here it's pretty much a downtrend. And you can clearly see this. We had our higher law here and then we had a lower lobe here and another one here. And pretty much it's on a downtrend and even ICT tools you can see it's drawing this line to see overall where the market is moving. And unlike the other one, you see that there are no spikes, just a few here and there. But really there are no spikes in volume that can bring you above this level of resistance that is forming around one Ethereum right here. Unfortunately, I stood, doesn't show us this, but currently we can also see around 0.5 a theorem. Also, there's quite a lot of resistance. So this picture is completely different to the other one. But for example, in order for this chart to reverse, I want to see it first of all, come over 0.5 or theorem which is turning into resistance. And then maybe potentially will be able to retest again one Ethereum as the Knicks resistance level. For example, if you decide to buy somewhere around in this year when it breaks up, then you can sell it somewhere around here because you know there'll be some resistance at one Ethereum. Now before showing you several more examples of charts, I want to also talk about volume because as I mentioned, it's extremely important in DNF DSpace to have volume because basically this means that this is people trying to buy n of t is because these are liquid jet JPEGs and we need more and more people coming into the space and they will generate the volume. And it means that someone out there is looking at this picture and saying, yes, I want this exact picture on that, the other one next to it. And that's why it's very important to have more and more people, which means in practice, more and more volume in this project. If we just scroll down a little bit further on IC2, you'll be able to see these graphs. And here below it says number of sales and also the volume. As you can see in the first few days when the project launched, it had a lot of volume and today there's not so much volume. And if we compare this to the ghost division, and if we scroll a little bit down here, let me just delete this here again, the same thing, two days of extreme volume and then pretty much nor volume arrow right here. So definitely keep this in mind because it will make it much easier to sell an NFT somewhere around here when they're still volume compared to somewhere around here when there's less volume. Of course, these are all relative because still we have, you can see here there's plenty of volume going on. It's not like it died out completely. But when you compare the graphs, you understand what I'm talking about. Let me just give you a few examples that will put everything into perspective. So if we go to cure GF, which was a project that was greatly benefited from the matter of a zucchini, the enemy matter. I remember these pumps really hard ground floor prices around zero-point to a theorem. And as you can see, in the best 30 days, they've been going on a steady downtrend and there hasn't been pretty much any volume. It has been slowly dying out, I would say. And this also is contributed by the current bear market at the time of shooting. But if we scroll a little bit down here, you can see that from the beginning of the project, it was somewhere in January, there was a huge spike and the blue line is the sales floor. You can see here we had a huge spike, more than one theorem. I remember I was watching this very closely. It was close to like 1.3 Ethereum floor. And there were rare selling at around two or three Ethereum, and then certainly it started dying off. And here on this graph you can see very clearly we had a higher, high here. And then the next higher I would say is here it was lower and it was lower than this one. So definitely going on downtrend. And if this is the reason law here, then we have lower lobe here and then another one here. And now it's just moving sideways, not doing a lot of things. And if we look into the volume here, you'll be able to see there was peak volume and the first several days and after that pretty much no volume at all. So keep all of these things in mind. And actually, for example, in this project, if at some point I see something like the following. So for example, here on this graph in the last month, I see it's breaking above zero-point for Ethereum with something like this, it just read this, it, it puts a higher low here and then it breaks above this level. So I might want to look into this project around this level. Will I be paying a premium? Sure, I will, but I don't really care because this is a trade setup that validates the rules of higher, highest and higher lows and also of support. And in this case, braking above resistance. And I think this will have much higher probability of working out then compared if I had just buy somewhere here in the loss and hope that this will go up forever. And if I see something like this, of course, there will be also a corresponding spike in volume somewhere around here. So when I see the volume starts to pick up, this could also be a sign. Actually, if you see volume picking up, this means that probably in the future, if the floor is really thin in this project, this means that it could go up. And you can all see from the charts, if you combine this with looking into their discords and checking for some news or just having information about this project. This could generate you a lot of money when you're trading actively and Nephthys. 47. 6.5 Quick Flips: In this video, I want to show you a strategy, how you can create. And if T is very quickly and I mean within the hour or two hours, you need to buy and sell DNA MT, hopefully at a profit. This happens when the project is minting and when there's the first Bush a volume into this project, the strategy is mostly focused on the chart and on the behavior of the participants on the market. But there are a lot of details that you need to be aware of and let me walk you through all of them. We're going to use as an example, ghost division, this project launched fairly recently. That's why I think it's a great example. And the first thing that I'm seeing right away is that this has only 5% royalty and that is very important when you're trying to flip quickly entities, this means that this project will not Europe a lot of your potential profit and also it means that it will attract probably more flippers like you. So you need to be aware of this when it comes to guests and all the other things that we're going to discuss. Also, one important feature of this project and what makes it a good candidate for a flip is that this is a very hyped up project. Then if we go to their Twitter, you'll see that they have 400 thousand over 400 thousand followers. And it's an enemy project. And they have a lot of cool art which potentially has the potential to grow a lot in the future. So a lot of hype in this specific projects or that's another thing that you need to be aware if you're trying to flip very quickly some project that has no volume, no interest in it that will be very difficult to do. The next thing that you should know is that these kind of flips work much better when there's the high sales floor and mint price of a project if something is maintaining at 0.1 Ethereum, yes, your risk of losing money is lower, or actually the monetary amount that potentially you might lose is lower. But also there's not a lot of room to facilitate all the fees for gas and also for the royalties. And also you won't be making that much of a profit percentage wise. If you make a 100% gains when you include all the fees and sold, you'll be left with, let's say $200 of profit, which for some people of course is a lot and it's a good amount of profit for just a couple of hours work. But I definitely think that higher volume and higher price projects bring the potential for better flips. You should also kinda jump in there, discord, see how the mint is doing, what actually is the mean. So it's very important also another thing, avoid Dutch auctions for these quick flips. And also if you have a public mans or a waitlist meant, makes sure that the people are actually minting if the project is not meeting well, maybe there's some kind of a mistake, or if you jump into this court, you see some fault and something's not going right with the painting process, this could cause the project meant to fill in. It's also another thing that you need to be considering before actually buying and trying to flip this nFET in short, stay away from Dutch auctions and look for the mentoring process and how many FTEs are admitted before you try to flip them. Once the painting process starts, you'll be able to see the numbers of N of t is increasing and the listings on open C will also be increasing. In the beginning, there will be all the people that had waitlist and just want to make a quick profit. They don't know anything about the project or they're just trying to sell for some quick gains. And usually they start quite high. And once they see that not that many people are buying their entities at a certain price, they will start decreasing their price very fast because they're afraid that they're NMT might not seal. And you can see this from the chart. And if we zoom in on the chart on IC2, and you can do this by just clicking here and holding the mouse. And when you zoom, you'll be able to see this section of the graph a lot closer and you can do this one more time. So we get on the day exactly where the mentors and here you can very clearly see the price action when this was happening. So as you can see, within the first 45 minutes, maybe up to an hour, there was a lot of movement on the graph and I do believe this is the best moment to try and flip your NSGs. And here is the actual strategy, how it works. As I said, once the initial sellers start feeling some formal, they start decreasing their prices. And as you can see here in the beginning, there were some bias around for Ethereum. Ethereum. And then certainly as more and more people are meeting and trying to undercut each other, you can see the price falling down, up to two Ethereum. And here it made a little poll. So there were some sales around to Ethereum, 2.1 to 0.3 Ethereum, then it shut up back above even for a theorem. So if you manage to do this and even if you don't time it perfectly, you can do like a 100% gain on this single nFET. And this is all within just an hour or so. And what do you need to be watching also as the volume. And if I show you the volume on this specific time-frame here on ICT tools, you can see around six o'clock and then 630 was the biggest volume and the biggest number of sales. And then slowly it started decreasing. You need to be aware of this and you need to have a goal within the hour of the mint and the people that start listing, you need to be selling your energies. This is very important in order to make sure you have a good chance of selling at a profit. Now if we go back to this chart, the goal here is to try and see when the price action is bottoming out. This is difficult. This is the difficult part, I believe, because a lot of eyes will be on this project. And let's say 5 thousand people have the allowed list mint ends there probably like in this case, more than 10 thousand people looking to buy these NFT. So there will be gas wars, there'll be a lot of eyes on the project. And you might not be able to buy these at t2, a theorem right here, the lowest ones, but that's okay. Your goal is not to buy this book, to see a pattern that tells you that maybe prices bottoming out here at two Ethereum. Why this could be the case, we'll first to a theorem is around numbers, so it could act as support. Same was true for three Ethereum, but as you can see, we broke this price action here, went down to two, and suddenly we started seeing sales above to a theorem. So this is where you should be looking for an entry, not exactly trying to time the bottom, but see when price starts reversing and more and more volume starts coming in, so more and more sales are making. This is where you should try and buy your NMT. This way you are going to minimize the risk of buying too early because yes price might make a stop at two theorem, but then it might go to one Ethereum or 1.5 Ethereum. And you need to be a little bit more patient, but also you need to be very quick on the trigger when you decide you want to buy. This entity will also jump into openness and I'm going to show you how to try and list as fast as possible. But let me just continue here with this graph. So now, once you've had it somewhere around here, once you buy it, you need to be aware of where you can sell it. And again, you use this principle of support and resistance. And in this case three, a theorem might be your first target. And if you see price here that is facing some resistance and more and more listings are coming into OpenCV at three Ethereum. This might mean that it might be a good reason to sell at a theorem. However, if you see listings going up at 3.5 for a theorem, you might be a little bit more patient and you try sale somewhere around here. Anywhere here. If you sell anywhere in this area, I do believe that it's great. It's never good idea to try to time the top of the market and try to sell your entities. And also once you're there selling your NFT, always put it a little bit below the potential resistance level. In this case, for Ethereum, you should list it for, let's say three points, nine, Ethereum. This way you will be avoiding the emotional level of Fourier theorem, but also you will be below this resistance level. You will have higher chances of selling your entities. Also if something changes on the market, and you'll see that for 3.9 Ethereum, you're not selling this NFT not fast enough. So within the five or ten minutes maximum, this is the absolute maximum because keep in mind this whole space here is like 30 minutes. You need to start decreasing your price rapidly. So you might change it from 3.9 to 3.87, maybe three Ethereum if you don't see any changes and someone buying it, just because your goal is to get rid of it as fast as possible. And if you remember, you don't need to pick any gas fees whenever you're decreasing the price of your NMT. So even if you start listing it at, let's say 4.5 a theorem, this is a better idea. Then if you list it for, let's say 2.5 Ethereum, a 2.5 or theorem in this case specifically, you will probably have sold very quickly, but if you want to maximize your profits, I would suggest always go for the higher prices and then decrease it slowly. Maybe even after a few minutes, every few minutes or so until you get a sale. If you miss this opportunity and if you don't sell your NFP somewhere in this area as we discussed already, I think it's best to just try get rid of it anyway, because as you see here, the price action starts going down and down and it's grinding down. In this area here, it could be a little bit harder to sell your NMT if you bought it at a good price around 2.1 or two, a theorem, you'll still be emperor profit. But I'm sure that you feel very angry that you didn't say it earlier and S volume starts going out of the market, it will definitely be harder to sell unless you want to really hold this NFT for the long-term. But that is a completely different strategy. I don't think you should be trying to buy something around here when everyone's trying to flip. For the long term, you will have plenty of opportunities also in the future. Also if you see this networking out and maybe you bought somewhere around here, but then you see price started reversing. I would also suggest to try and still DNF t even at a loss because you might be stuck holding the bag for awhile and this NFT might not ever recover or may not recover in the short-term. Always, whenever you're doing this or using any of the other strategies, have a plan beforehand. Don't go into this trait blindly. And maybe if it doesn't go your way, you turn it into a long-term hold. I've personally done this mistake because I didn't want it to sell it a small loss. And now I'm at a huge loss of an nFET just because I didn't save it on time and because I was changing my plans, I don't like it will recover at some point. It never recovered and it's still going down. So definitely stick to your plan. This is part of trading. If you have trade, anything in your life, you will know that losses are part of the game and you need to minimize your losses manager risk, then maximize your profits after that. Now let's jump to there, opens the page and see how this could play out on OpenCV actually life. So first thing first, when you click on the floor price here and when a project is minting, probably the floor price won't be correct because open C doesn't refresh the data fast enough. And remember there'll be a lot of volume and quite often open sea might even break something and you might not be able to buy something. So just be aware of this, especially with high-interest means like this was, the next thing is that here on items probably it won't say 10 thousand items, which is the full size of the collection. It could say a 1000 or 2 thousand depending on how the mint is going. This will be also updating live while people are minting and more and more entities are going into the marketplace. Then when you scroll a little bit further down, you will see exactly the same picture for every NMT. So this means that these entities are not revealed yet. For this specific strategy, we don't really care about the review. We are here for a quick flip. Also, as we saw in the beginning of the course when we were trying to buy a high-volume NFT, if you try to ****** those first few and if t's like ninety-nine point nine percent of the time, the transaction will not go through and you probably lose a gas war. Why is that? Because there are many boats out their debts, sniped the LFTs and buying them extremely fast that unless you have a tool or a bot, you won't be able to at all to compete with these people. The best thing that you can do is try and buy the entities which are above the floor, slightly above the forest. Now the first three or four or five or six, maybe on the second row, go and try and buy these because I believe there will be less competition and it's easier to buy these and for the transaction to go through. If we go to the Activity tab, you'll be able also to see and you need to monitor this live. How are the listings going and also how are the sales going? So first of all, if you see a lot of sales going in, this again is a confirmation of the increasing volume. But also if there are a lot of listings, you need to be checking if they're undercutting the floor price. If we just click on listings for this specific example, here you'll see that the listings are mixed. So there are high above floor and there's some at floors, some below floor. So it's pretty mixed back. And if you are looking at this live while the project is maintaining, you'll be able to see how this is going in or how the floor is going. And actually you'll be able to have the most accurate information on the Activity tab. And keep in mind that everyone, when they're decreasing their price of DTFT, this shows up as a new listing. So if somebody had an entity listed 44 and then went down to, let's say 3.5. This will show up as a new listing. Together with ICE tools and the Activity tab, you'll be able to determine if the price is bottoming down. Or you might see some more selling pressure from the listings that are coming below the sales Florida. That is everything for the strategy for this video. And now let us move to the next one. 48. 6.6 Long-term Trades: In this video, we're going to look at a strategy, which for me personally is one of my favorite ones because it perfectly fits my background than the time that I have to research LFTs and all other things. But I'm pretty sure that while you're watching all those videos, you will also be able to recognize yourself in some of these strategies. And I'm sure that this will help you to become better in these ones that you have a match width. The one that we're going to discuss in this video is a long-term trait or a swing trade. This means that you are not looking to flip it very quickly within the next few hours or few days, you're more like of patiently waiting for price to increase and also for the project to give you science that it's actually alive, it's building, and that it has strong community. I like those because usually when there's a rush of investors in the beginning, they are all speculators, but after that, the floor price has come down, everything settles down and we see which teams actually will deliver of what they promised once they start doing this. I believe this has more potential for growth in the long term and also kind of makes it a safer bet because now you can see that they have done something and they have given your product or some kind of added value to the project. And that's why you can have a higher conviction and probably even put more money into this project. Let's look at a specific one. It's called cool monkeys Genesis. I personally have a couple and I've done some research on them. And I just want to show you my approach on why I do believe this project could run up. But also I want to use this as an example of the whole process of researching that you can apply to pretty much every project that you are researching out there. First of all, what I'm doing is I do have a checklist, so I need to know what the project is about and need to know if they're delivering something on their roadmap already. If they have a strong community. And also I need to know some basic stats about the project. Like for example, holders count, floor price, Historically, number of FFTs listed, and also overall the price action and the volume that is in right now in this project. One thing that I forgot to mention in the beginning, I believe that this strategy is very good, especially in bear markets because the sentiment is really down. Speculators are gone from the market. It's very hard to make money as a speculator in a beer trend. And then everything kind of settles down and you have a lot more time to do deeper research. And as I said, make safer bets on the team and on what they are delivering. So let's go through the checklist for this specific project. So first of all, I usually go to IC tools just to have all my links here on their website and so on. I will join their Discord, their Twitter, all the things that we already discussed. And then I'll just scroll through the project, you know, because this is a project that I know. But if you're researching a brand new project, maybe somebody told you about it or you saw it on Twitter or wherever. You need to do this step because you'll need to find all the available information in. I'd just like to load all my websites when I do the research and spent a couple of days, maybe few hours per day on researching this project. And with time, just monitor the price action and also the development of this project. Because this strategy, even just to start investing in a single project, it could take several weeks up to few months if we're in a proper beer trend and the prices are really down, I'm not in a rush to invest in this project. Once I have everything open, I'm just scrolling through, first of all, the charts and I see here that we have a downtrend clearly and not a lot of volume, actually, pretty much no volume except for the beginning of this project when it launched, as you can see here, there was plenty of volume and then it just faded away for quite a long time. And now I would say at the bottom, at least for now, this can continue going downwards. But as you can see, the price currently 0.070 Ethereum, which is quite low-risk, I would say for the potential returns that you could get from such a project. And keeping in mind, this is a graph that you've probably seen at 90% of the projects out there. And that's super normal after the hype has gone in, all of these projects kind of fade away and only the good ones that kind of liver, they can survive abrupt or bear trend that currently at the shooting of this video, we are in one right now. Once I know what's the situation here, I will start doing my research and we're gonna go back to this chart one more time at the end to look for entries. But let's move on with the research. I will just go to. For example, there are Twitter, we're going to start there. I'm going to see their full words, how they rise, maybe even jumped to Social Blade and see if they have some kind of growth bench market to other projects in this category. And I would just play around, I see a few people that I'm following also following this project or for goods sign in my opinion. Then I see the first bolt here which is bent. It's from April 15th, which was around a month ago. We're going on a trip who's coming? So this is like bumping the community. There's something coming. So I need to go into this court and research what exactly is happening and what was happening around this date. Also something that I think is also a great sign is that they have spaces. This means that their team is talking about their plans and they are developing. This project is already in NMT terms, kind of old. It's been around from January, which makes it almost five or six months. And we can see that they're still having town halls. There's two talking to the crowd, which is a great sign. And here below I don't see them putting that often, which I don't think it's a great sign. And also when we look into the engagement, it's not great, I would say even on the spaces or here on the bins posts, which I do believe should have a lot of engagements. You can see they have only 55 comments and around 450 likes for 26 thousand fourths. I don't think these are great numbers. And this means that currently this project, maybe it's not on focus, maybe people are not looking into it. And potentially this could mean that it's a gym. And when hype comes back again to this project, it has the potential to run up, but also, it might mean that this is a community that's dying out slowly. It will need to research this a little bit deeper and this court and find out science of one or the other. If I just grow again a little bit more on Twitter, I see some giveaways. I see some updates that they are providing. I see that they are also on Coinbase, which at the time of shooting is quite a new marketplace. And I think that's a good sign, although Coinbase isn't a marketplace for anti-thesis, not really popular at the moment. But I don't think all collections that are listed on coinbase or this is, I think goods. Here I see another update which is of a marketplace that it's launching and that it's grid. This means that they are developing their building and we're gonna see what more they have delivered from the team. And if I just continue, you can go a little bit deeper. Of course, you can look into the comments you what the community is saying. Scroll through even the older tweets and see what's happening and what's the information that they're providing. But for now, I do believe this is enough. And if you want to dive deeper, I have already shown you how to do this on Twitter. So let's just move on to the next step. And this is going to this court and to their community. And here I'm just going to go directly to the announcements page. And from here I'm just going to go backwards, so back in time and see for the last, I would say a couple of months at least. You can just scroll and see what they have been levering. How many reactions they have on certain bolts like this one. How big is their community overall and all the things that we have already discussed. I don't want to go too much in detail. Here. I see that they have cool monkeys to point O. So I'm guessing this is a new website that they're going to have. Again, this is something great because they launched one side. They said they're gonna do another one. They updated everything and now they're starting to deliver. So again, a good sign for me. And if we scroll a little bit more, you see very good, very well structured, big updates and they're quite irregular. So I'm seeing updates every few days or so. And here you can also see a nice summary. There was treasure hands. I remember babies are coming soon. We have the waitlist marketplace which already launched, I guess. So overall, a lot of announcements, well-structured, I think they're well-written and their world transparent. And I do like this type of format. So here in March we see them talking about the cool monkeys to point O. And two months later, almost the start delivering on this. So very, very good sign in my opinion, the next thing that I will do is to just go through the chats, maybe ask some questions, contact also the creators or at least the moderators. See you what their challenges that they're facing in water, their next steps, what they are going to try to deliver, what are the time-frame? Or maybe even people asked already saw, I might use the search bar in this court to find a little bit more information. And then I can move on to their official links. And here you can see there are plenty of official links. But what I'm interested in currently is the whitepaper. And also I'm interested in their website. So I'd note that this is their old websites or we haven't yet seen the new one. But here you can see all the information about the project. And personally, I think this website is kind of cool. It's not the best, It's not like amazing with some kind of graphics and everything. It doesn't make me go absolutely nuts when I see it, but I think it's clean, it's cute. The animations are good and I had to believe they have plenty of information here for the user. And if you just go through it, you'll be able to understand a lot about the project. And here on their whitepaper, we already took a look at it. But as you can see, this is the second version of the white paper. So again, this is a good sign for me. This means that they have probit delivered on their first roadmap and now they're building on this. And there keep building and they deliver what they are promising. And they have a lot of things in this project. They have staking, they have a marketplace, they're working on a game. They will have breeding and all the other things that you might have seen also in other projects. But the one thing that I believe is a little bit different than this project is that they're very consistent and they're delivering over and over again. Even during a bear trend as you saw the graph, they were going down quite a lot. So, and I think these are all goods science for this project. One thing also that you need to check is if there's some kind of red flags. So maybe if their servers were hacked or if their founders left the project, then these things could be a little bit harder to find out, but I definitely think it's worth going through this role ten, maybe you search on this CT or on Twitter. Or in general, just search for information like this. Or, you know, you might be friend, someone from the community who's from the beginning of the project. He or she will be able to tell you a lot of this information. So that's a very valuable resource. And this way you'll be utilizing the community of this project to learn a lot more about it. The next thing that I want to show you is going through some basic stats numbers and we have already discussed this, but I'm going to look into the holders numbers. In this case, I see they have over 90% of 123. And if T is, I see that they are long-term holders are around 70% or more than three months in the project. So again, these are good signs. And if we go to flips dot finance, I'm gonna look at the numbers listed. In this case it's very steady and as you can see, it's very low at around 202, around 300 out of a collection of 10 thousand, which is a great number. But keep in mind, this is a project that has staking. This is also kind of expected. I think you can quite clearly see here, we're staking started and even before that, around 1000 of the nFET is listed, is around 10%, which again, I think are healthy numbers. However, if we dive a little deeper, you'll be able here to see that we have the numbers of listings increasing. So we had around 200 here. Probably there was some kind of an event on the 14th day, launched something probably that needed sticking. And this might mean that some people were not satisfied with it and that's why the number of listed items started going up. And also, if you see here, the seven day listing change means we have plus 36 entities on the market. So keep this in mind. Don't look at just one number in isolation whenever you're doing your research, always try to go a little bit deeper. And once you've gone through all the notifications and announcements and this court, then you'll be able to read the price history also a little bit better because there might be some key events around this date or you can do this jewelry around. So you will look at the April of 14th here and you jump into this course, go to the announcements around this date and see if there's something that triggered this. And also look, what was the response of the people around this date. So if there were haters or even just ask if you cannot find it on chat and try to find more information about these events here that are showing. If we jump really quickly to the floor price analysis, you'll see the same graph as in IC2. They had a big bump and they had a dump, and now they're in a bear trend. So this until now is pretty much the basis of the analysis that you need to do for the long-term things. But also when you want to invest in this project and when you want to enter, you want to look for good science to enter. So what are the signs and what you should be looking for? First here on this graph, you can see there was some pumps here. From here, from 0.20.36, there was a bump or something happened here. The same here as it happened here. So from 0.1 to 0.67, something happened here. These are kind of the first signs of life of a project. And if we go to ICE tools because you're gonna be able to analyze this a little bit better. What we need to be seeing is here on the 30 day graph, which is very detailed with all the sales and so on. We need to start seeing these levels breaking some resistance. So let's say there's a bear trend and you see price falling like it is right now, but at some point it finds a floor. So for example, 0.1 a theorem in this case, and suddenly you see started creeping up towards 0.2 Ethereum. Now, you might start monitoring this price action a little bit closer and you might start looking for good entries. If we get rejected at 0.2 Ethereum and then go back down, this might not be a good sign, but if we're showing consistent volume increase and also keeping around the level of 0.2. A theorem. You might start look for a good entry. As I've mentioned before, volume is key here, so you might start looking for spikes in volume right here. And also when you jump to open C, you'll be able to see this also a little bit better. If we jump to the Activity tab, you'll be able to see the sales as they happen. And if you start seeing some more volume salt, for example, right now we have just one sale in the last hour. In the previous two sales were in the last three hours. So absolutely no volume currently. And here on the graph you can see some little spikes here and there a volume. If this starts changing and if you can start seeing more and more sales coming. And when you look at the floor and you'll see that there hasn't been that many listings and the floor is relatively thin, like in this case because they have a lot of staking. This means that sooner or later the price might start moving up and you might be looking for a good entry. Let me show you an example of a project that actually went through this whole thing. And you'll be able to see how the graph looks and what are the differences. It's called MF. And it was really big when it started bumping. And you can see here that for quite a while it was pretty much dead in the water and nothing was happening. But at some point, price started creeping up upwards. And you can see here it had a little pump from 0.2, a theorem to 0.3. Then it came back down, then it had another one, then it came back down again and it started forming higher highs and higher lows all through here. Somewhere around here in this lower range, it would have been great moment to enter, even though it wouldn't be at a great price compared to write here. But probably there were some catalysts here that triggered this price to move upwards. And if you have been following this project for several months and you know about it and you know what's going on behind the scenes, you will have been able to catch this pretty early. And if we jump to IC tools and we'll look at the volume, you'll see a similar picture. So somewhere around here, the project dropped from its initial volume from the launch, then it was dead. Then we had a spike in volume, then we had some more spikes and volume, and then the real volume started kicking in right here. And also keep in mind that volume usually comes before the actual pump because people will start buying and there's some floor and if Ts and probably more people are going to be listing, but as the floor starts getting eaten up, the price starts increasing. And if you are able to catch this moment, this is where I believe are the best entries for such kind of place. Now, of course not every time you'll be able to have a perfect entry, probably sometimes you buy too high, probably you buy too low or too early and you might see a drawdown. But that is fine that it's not the goal to be perfect. The goal of this strategy is to catch the bigger trend and also to bring your cost basis as low as possible. And you can do this by buying several entities of the collection if you have the liquidity at certain points in price. So for example, in the beginning, you might just enter one in this collection during true price when it was downwards around 0.20 theorem is fairly cheap. You might start with one, then you might add another one when you see volume coming in. And then when you see rice start really moving, then you can on the next pull back of the price, you might entertain another NFT. And of course this takes a lot of practice. But once you've done this a few times you'll be able to see a pattern with a lot of projects that are of good quality and deliver on their roadmap in the long term, one more way to aim for better entries is also by using another of the trading strategies and that is making offers. When you see price action bottoming down, you can start making some offers below the floor price. And if the floor drops, this gives you a little bit of margin of error. If price starts to go up, then again you have even better entries and you will be more flexible when price starts climbing. And your average entry actually from the two or three NMT is that you are going to buy is going to be much better compared to if you just go on the open market and buy it and also pay the gas fees and everything. Well, last thing that we need to discuss in this very long video is when to sell the nFET is this is probably the hardest part, especially in this type of setup, because usually when you're in a long-term trait, you'll be looking to sell at the maximum profit. And quite often this means that you might not still at all because you are really invested in this project. You've done a lot of work on it. You have waited for months, probably before the price action starts going up and you want to maximize your gain, but just make sure you follow the golden rule and just take profit. It doesn't matter how high it will go. And it doesn't matter how much profit you will make because you will never be able to perfectly timed the top or the bottom. In this case, profit is always prophet and unrealized gains are nothing. They don't count until you sell your NMT. The best way to know when to sell is basically with one of g and f Ts. If you're buying more than one, just try to cover all of your expenses and then you have free-riders. Basically, the other entities that you bought will all be in profit. It doesn't matter what will happen and this will help you a lot to sleep better at night. They have lower stress levels. When you start seeing price going parabolic, you'll be able to sell at TKI resistance levels like for example, one of the theorem went to or theorem with time and practice, you'll also get much better with this. And if the trade doesn't go in your favor, even if you've done all the research and it sounds like a good project, but it never recovers. You can also cut your losses short when you see the price continuing on a downtrend. And maybe you want to invest the ethe in something else. I don't think it's a bad idea even in such kind of long-term setup to de-risk some of your NMT is and maybe you don't sell out of the position. Yeah, at some point it might go up, but if you have valid reasons for not staying in a certain trade, you just have to live with the consequences and that is pretty normal as I said, you are not able to always to time the market correctly. The bottom is the tops and also which project we will make it and which will fill out and goal to 0. It's extremely difficult. That's why we make calculated bits. And the more bits you can make and the more experience that you get in this process, the better you will be, more profitable will be in the long-term.
