marketing class for business. Now, Pinterest is one of the best ways for small
businesses to send traffic, visitors to the brand website. In this class, I'm going to show you guys the best
way you can use Pinterest to send visitors to your website or grow
your small business. Here's what you're going
to learn in this class. First, I'll talk about the benefits of using
Pinterest so that you guys can
understand whether or not Pinterest is the
right platform for you. Then after you decided that
you want to use Pinterest, I'm going to show
you guys how to find great content ideas to help
you reach more people, expand your visibility and send more traffic
to your business. Then I'm going to
show you guys how to design beautiful
content on Pinterest. Content and Pinterest
are called pins. So I'm going to show you
guys how to create and design eye catching
beautiful Pinterest pins that are going to make
people want to click on your content and find out more about what
you've got to offer. Finally, I'm going to
show you guys how to use SCO and how to
optimize your Pins. Search can rank on top of Pinterest search engine in
case you guys don't know, Pinterest is a visual
search engine where people search for content
related to specific topics. And I'm going to show you
guys how to make sure that your content ranks on top
of the search engine. That's all we're going
to cover in this class. If you guys are
interested in learning how to use Pinterest
to grow a business, then this class is perfect for you and you guys in
the first lesson.
2. Benefits of Using Pinterest: In this video, I'm
going to talk about the benefits of using
Pinterest for business. The first benefit I want
to talk about is that your Pinterest pins
are evergreen content. Now, on most social media
platforms out there, when you applaud an
image or a video, it's only going to be relevant for a short period of time, then it's going to die down and nobody will see your
content anymore. But when it comes to Pinterest, the life cycle of your content is way longer on Pinterest. On other social media platforms, people usually get
recommended your content. But on Pinterest, somebody can search for a specific topic. Then a piece of content that
you created on that topic months ago or even years ago can show up in
the search results. And that brings us
to our next point, which is Pinterest
is a search engine, and search traffic is
the most profitable and the most targeted type of traffic you can get
today on the Internet. Instead of you looking for people and potential customers, they're actually searching for content and that's how
they're going to find you. Another benefit of using
Pinterest is that you can get more clicks to your website by creating content
on Pinterest. And the reason is because
Pinterest allows you to add a link in every piece of content that you
publish on Pinterest. That's different compared to other social media
platforms where you can only add one
link in your bile. As for Pinterest,
you can add a link in content that you publish. Because Pinterest is
such a popular website and it gets a lot of
users and visitors, it's a great way to increase
your brand awareness. To show you guys what
I'm talking about, I'm over here on similar web, which is a tool that I used
to analyze websites and social media platforms
that are plan to use for my marketing on
this tool right here. If we scroll down here, we can actually see how many visits Pints
gets every single month. If you come over
here, you can see that the sum of
all the visits on desktop and mobile from the last month is
1.1 billion visits. If we scroll down here
a little bit further, you can see some more starts. Right here, Right here you
can see the top countries. You can see that the majority of the visits are coming
from the United States. And people from the
United States tend to make the most amount
of purchases online. It's good to know
that the majority of people who are going to
be visiting websites, if you have a service or a product that you're
selling online, you can be confident that a lot of people will be from
the United States. Okay, so those are some of the benefits of
using Pinterest. Now there are some
things that probably do not cover in this video, but the more you get to use Pinterest and learn
about the platform, you're going to discover
some other ways it can benefit your business. I hope you guys found

3. Finding Content Ideas: In this video only talk about
how you guys can come up with ideas for the content that you're going to
publish on Pinterest. Now, a lot of people tend to
overcomplicate this step, but in my opinion,
this is actually the easiest step in growing
your Pinterest account. I'm going to show you guys
exactly how to go about this. The first thing you want
to do is you want to open up a note pad like
this right here, This is where you're
going to add your ideas. Right here, you can
come right here and you can name this content Ideas. It's like that. You can create some
bullet points. Right here, I have some
bullet points right here, and we can start coming
up with some ideas. First thing you want to
do is you want to use Pinterest itself as a platform
to come up with ideas. Like I said in the
previous video, Pinterest is somewhat
a search engine, so we're going to use
that to our benefit. What you want to do is come over here to this icon right here. Click there. Right here says all pins you want
to click on there. You want to make sure
you select all pins. Because sometimes it's going to say your pins when it's here, it's only going to show
the pins that you publish. So you want to make sure
it's saying all pins, so that it's going to show you all the pins on the platform. Then right here we say search
in the box right here, you just want to type in a
keyword related to a niche. My niche or my industry
is digital marketing, so I'll just search for
digital marketing right there. I'll just type in digital
marketing marketing and press Enter on my
keyboard to search for this. Okay, now we have some
results here on Pinterest. Now these I want to
call Pinterest Pins, Content that other people
have published on Pinterest. This is where we're going to
get some content ideas from. I'm in the digital
marketing space. I'm going to look
for some ideas in digital marketing Right here, you can see right here says 20 amazing tools for digital marketing
beginners right there. That's a content idea. I can create content sharing, some tools that
people can use to help them grow the digital
marketing business. Already, I have an
idea right there, so we can come over here and we're going to put
that in our notes. We're going to say to digital marketing, that's an idea right there. Let's find some more
ideas right here. Let's just look,
you can see right here how to start a career
in digital marketing. That could be an
idea right there. Would you create content about helping beginners get started
with digital marketing? I can create something like how to start a digital
marketing business. That right there is another
idea for content that I can create, digital marketing business. Okay, let's look at
some of these pins. So let's scroll down here. Right here says Best AI
Tools for Digital Marketing. There are so many
different tools people can use to help them grow the
digital marketing business. Right now, we know
that AI is blowing up and a lot of people are
using AI to create content. Ai is very easy to use and it can help you
create content faster. That right there is
something we can do as well. We can help people find out some best tools they can
use to create content. Using AI, come over here and we can add
that in there as well. You can say, I tools for digital marketing already. We have three ideas right there, so you can keep on
going just like this. As you can see guys,
this is very easy to do. We're just using other
people's content to come up with ideas for
on content as well. Right here, how to start a digital marketing
agency from scratch. Do you have some knowledge on that specific topic or can you create content to help
people in that space? You can continue
doing this until you have ten ideas in your notes. I don't come back
here to my notes. Once you have ten
different content ideas, what you want to do is you
want to pick out the best you think are going to be the most useful to your audience. Now always remember
that the goal for your content is to provide
value and help other people. Coming up with content
ideas is not hard. There's no need to complicate
this process at all. All you need to focus on is coming up with the
best content ideas such can provide
as much value as you possibly can
to your audience. In the next video, I'm going
to show you guys how to create content using
these ideas right here.
4. Designing Pinterest Pins: In this video, I'm going to
try to guide how to design good looking and
engaging Pinterest Pins. In the previous
video, we come up with some content
ideas right here. And we're going to create
content for these ideas. To do that, convey
here to Canva, that's Canva.com Canva is a graphic design
tool that you can use to create social
media content. You can create presentations
and a lot of things. What you want to do is create
a free account with Canva, as you can see right
here on the free plan. Once you create
your free account, you want to come
here and click on Create a Design. Click there. Then in the search, but you
want to search for Pin. So as you can see right
here, you have two options. You have this one
and the second one. This one you can
see the dimensions. So this one is a bit
bigger than this one. You want to go with
the bigger pin because with the bigger
pin you're going to cover up a huge space on the Pints platform. That's
what you want to do. Click the Ok. This is going to open
up in a new tab. This is your pin right here. As you can see, it's blank,
there's nothing on it. On the left hand side,
right here on top, you have design right here, and we have templates. All these are different
templates you can use to help you
create your pins. If you select any of these templates to show
up right there, and you're able to edit the
template and change things around and add your own
content To show you guys that, let me just click on
this pin right here. Okay, as you can see it's
showing up right there. I can edit the text. I can remove this,
I can change this. This background right here is an image. You can remove that. And to delete something, if you want to delete the
background, just click there. My PC, I'll just press delete and it's
going to remove that. If you want to remove anything, just click on it and delete. And I'll just select
this, double click, select everything, and delete. Right here on the left, you can see it says more like this. Every time you
select the template, it's going to suggest
other similar templates that you can use for designs. You can come over here and
look at some that you like. You find one that
you really like. You can go ahead and
select that template. Then you can use that template
to guide you in creating your pin right here
on the design. You can click on Elements. Just click the right
here on Elements. You can find a lot of icons and graphics you can
use for designs. You can come over here and you
can type in a keyword like food or graphic design
or diesel marketing. And it's going to
show you icons and graphics related
to your keywords. Here on text, you can find all your different texts that you can add
on your graphic. Down here on, you can go ahead and upload your own images
and graphics right here. Let's go ahead and
start designing our template right here. First of all, you want to click on the
background right there. You notice this
will show up right here what says background color. You can click that, You can choose the color
for your background. You can change the color
to black if you want. What I like is using
gradient colors right here. You can select this,
you can choose that, that we're going to use this
color for our background. After that, what I'm going
to do is I'll add some text. Come back here to text
and I'll add a heading. Click there. There's
a text right here. So you can grab this,
you can move it around. They just move it up here. And you can click in there
and you can start typing. What I'll say is how to start, can move this up there. Then we can add another text. They just rod here. Let's select this right here. Click that. Okay. You can
see here there's a text. There's some small
text down here. What I'll do is click
on and group that. Then we separate the two. Let me just choose
the one on top. Then I'll click on
this and delete that. I'll click in there
and I say digital. I say how to start a
digital marketing business. I'll make this bigger. That just move closer to
this text right here. What I do is I duplicate this
text on top, right here. Click there. Then click on
this plus button right here. Then I move this down here. Then I'll say marketing. Then I need to change the font. Change the phone. You
can come right here, click the right here. On the left, you can see all
these are different fonts. The current phone is this one
right here called Cambers. Let's scroll down and
choose a different font. I like this one right
here called Antonio. I click there and you can
see my phone has changed. Make this and move
to the middle. Okay, Like that.
So what I'm going to do now is change
the color of the text. What I'll do is come
here, text color. Click that and I'll
make this red. Okay, that's fine. So how to start a digital
marketing business. Click duplicate that. Move that down here
and just say business. We can make this bigger,
drag the corners. Do that, and do the
same with this. Okay. What I'm going to do now is add a
graphic down here. To do that, just conver
here to elements. Click there in the
search bar right here, you go to search for
digital marketing. So go ahead and search
for digital marketing. Just type that in
there and click, okay. Have some results. Right here, Right
here we have photos, graphics, and more. What you trying to do is
cover here to the second tab. Click on Graphics, select that. On this page, you can find different graphics that
you can use for a design. One thing to keep in
mind is every time you see this Pro symbol right here, that means this graphic is only available for
Pro customers. But since we're on the free
plan, we can't use these. But it's okay since Campbell has a lot of free
graphics that we can use. For example, this one right
here. Let me click on that. As you can see, it's behind the text to bring it in front. What you try to do
cover here and click on Position you want to
bring it to the front. Click on to front as you
can see it in front. Let's just drag this down here. That's how you add the graphic
to design. It's like that. Okay. If you don't like this, you can go ahead and search
for a different graphic. Let's say you don't like this, Click on the, delete that. Let's select this
right here again. Let's do the same
position and bring it to the front.
Drag it down here. Another thing you can
do guys down here, you can in to make sure that everything
is clear so we can d a corners to make this bigger so that then
zoom out again. There's all graphic as you can see guys where they
have a theme right here. So we can create some space. You can select everything, smooth this a little
bit of right here, so we can make this
graphic bigger. Let's look that.
Okay. Okay, since we're down with the design, what you need to keep
in mind is that the next time you want
to create a new pin, you do not have to
start from scratch. You can use this
as your template. What you want to do is come
back here to your pin, and you want to come back here. Click Duplicate
Page, Click there. Now we have two pages. If you scroll up here, you can see we have
this other page. Now you can start editing
this to fit your new pin. If I come back to my
note pad right here, we just created this pin. This was our first pin. Let's say you want to create this two for digital marketing. What you can do is come by here and just typing right there. You can say here, you can say I two. Let's say, let's delete that. Move this down here, duplicate
that. Move it down there. The best to let's say
four digital marketing. So we can make this bigger and do the same with
this right here. Just like that, we can
delete this graphic right here and we can find
the graphic related to. What you can do is
come over here to elements and type in AI
and search for that. So as you can see, we have a lot of different
graphics right here. So go ahead and select
this one position. Move this to the front. We can just the size,
just like that. We have our second pin. You can see right here, we
have this pin right here. The best to for
digital marketing. And we have this one right
here, just like that guys. As you can see, it's
even much easier to create new pins once you
create your first one, you can just use that
as your template. You can change things
around right here, you can change the colors. If you don't want this to be
bored, you can just do that. As you can see, guys, we have
our two pins right here. Now once you're down, what you want to do is name your pin. So you can come
over here, says at the heading and you can
write whatever you want. I just say pins. We have the
first pin and second pin. Let's say you want to
download this one right here and you want to
appl that to pints. Show you this comp here. Click
on Share. Click Download. Right here, right
here says Power Type. Just leave it on
PNG. Then down here, say Select Pages,
it says all pages. Click that. If you go
ahead and download both, it's going to put
them in a zip file. But let's say you just
want to download one of the pages have page
one and page two. This one want to
download is page two. I'll select page one right here. Page two is selected. Click on Done. So you
can see right here, select pages, says page two
then click on download. Okay. So as you can see, download has been completed and that's how you go about
downloading your Pin. Now in the next
video I'm going to show you guys how to
upload your pin to Pinterest and do some basic

5. Uploading And SEO: Welcome. In this video I'm
going to show you guys how to properly applaud
your pins to Pinterest, and do some SEL, which is search
engine optimization, so it can stand a high
chance of ranking on 12 of Pinterest
search results. Once you convert here to
your Pinterest account, you want to convert
here with says Create. Then you want to click Create. Click on this page, you can add your
description and everything. To add your image,
just click there. Then you want to go ahead
and select your image. And click on Open. There's an image right here. What you can do is
add your title. The title is how to start a
digital marketing business. You can just say that in there. Okay, there's our title or your heading or whatever
you want to call it. Then down here it says, Tell everyone what
your opinions about. You can add the
description right there. Here's something I came up with. It says, are you interested in learning how to start a
digital marketing business? Here I share some
tips to help you start digital marketing
as a beginner, to help you grow your
online business. Now what you want to do right
here is want to make sure the keyword that you
want to rank for showing up three
times on your post. I'm trying to rank for
this keyword right here. Digital marketing, I make sure it's showing up
three times right here. First I have it right
there in my title, then right here also have it digital marketing right here. And also have it down here. This is what you want
to do. You want to add the keyword that
you want to rank for at least three times
on your post so that Pinterest knows
what your post is about, it's going to show it to
more and more people. That's how you do SEO to
help you rank for a keyword. Now you do not want
to overdo this. You can do this like maybe
add your keyword four times, but I just stick to three times and that
has worked for me. Just like that. You're
down with your title and description down here
where it says, Add a link. You can add your
website right here. The page you're going to link to should be related to
what your post is about. If you have a post saying how to start a digital
marketing business, you need to send them to a page on your website where you're sharing tips on how to start a digital
marketing business. What I'm going to do
in this case is just share a link to my profile. If I had a specific class that focus on like how to start digital marketing
from scratch, I would have shared a
link to that class. But I'm just going to show you guys how to
go about doing this. You just want to get
a link website that's related to your post and you want to add
a link right here. Just add Scusa link right there. Once you're done, you
can come right here. This way you can
publish your post. If I click on
Publish right here, it's asking me to
create a board. What you want to do
is you want to create new board. Create
board right here. And you want to name this Digital
Marketing Marketing. And you want to click Create. You can see right here you have a board digital marketing. Right? Once you're done, just want to go ahead
and click Publish. Okay guys, a Pin has been
published and just like that, we've applauded a
content to Pinterest. Okay, here's my post right here. As you can see,
there's our design. We're a link to Mecca class. Just make sure you
send people to a relevant link that's related
to your post right here. That's how you go
about applauding content to Pinterest and doing some basic SEO to help you stand a chance of ranking
