successful blogging. We will start by defining EIT and it's three core components, expertise, authoritative,
and trustworthiness. And by the end of this module, you will have a
clear understanding of what each of these elements means and how they
relate to creating a successful blog that
attracts a loyal audience. So let's get started. By the end of this
module, you will have a solid foundation in AAT and be well on your way to mastering this essential concept
for successful blogging.
3. What is EAT and why is it so important in Blogging?: Understanding IE, AAT is
essential to creating a successful blog that attracts a loyal audience
and earns revenue. So let's break
down what it means and why it is so
important in blogging. Well, AAT stands for expertise, authoritative,
and trustworthiness. Expertise refers
to your knowledge and skills in your blogs niche. Authority deafness is
about establishing yourself as an authority
in your field. And trustworthiness
involves building trust with your readers
through transparency, honesty, and
high-quality content. Now, why is it so
important in blogging? Well, think about it this way. If you're looking
for information on a particular topic and you
come across to blog posts. One from a well-known
expert in the field, and another one from
an unknown Blogger. Which posts are you more likely
going to trust and read? While most likely
you will choose the post from the experts
because they have established themselves
as an authority in their field and you
trust their expertise. In the same way, IE AAT is crucial for
building trust with your readers and establishing yourself as an authority
in your niche. By demonstrating your expertise, your authority, your
trustworthiness. You will attract loyal
audience that will look to you for reliable information
and recommendations. To sum things up, IE AAT is all about establishing yourself as a credible source of information in your niche. And it is essential for creating a successful blog that
attracts a loyal audience. And by focusing on
your expertise, your authoritative news
and trustworthiness, you can actually build a
blog that readers will trust and returned to
time and time again.
4. Does EAT have an influence on SEO?: Many bloggers wonder if
IE AAT has an influence on SEO, search
engine optimization? And the simple answer is yes, IE AAT can have a significant impact on your blogs, search
engine rankings. Google's algorithm
takes into account various factors when determining
our websites ranking. And AAT is one of them. The search engine
aims to provide the most relevant and trustworthy
content to its users. And IE AAT helps Google
to identify such content. Let's take an example. Suppose you are searching for a recipe for chocolate cake. You will most likely click on the recipe
from a website that is established and trusted
in the food niche, such as BBC good
food or our recipes. This is because you know that these websites have a reputation for providing accurate
and reliable recipes, which is why they rank higher
in the search results. In contrast, a new
food blog with little to no reputation may not rank as high even if the
content is excellent. This is because
Google's algorithm does not yet considered a blog as an authoritative
source of information. So by improving
your blogs, IE AAT, you are more likely to rank higher in search
engine results pages, attract more traffic and grow
your audience and income.
5. What is YMYL and what does it have to do with E-A-T: In the world of online
content creation, there is a term called y m, y l, and it stands for
your money or your life. And this, this term was
actually coined by Google, and it refers to
content that has a direct impact on
a person's health, happiness, safety, or
financial well-being. Examples of why am YL content include medical advice,
financial advice, legal information, and
news articles that can influence of public opinion
on important issues. Given the sensitive nature
of why I'm YL content, it is crucial that it is
created and presented in a way that is trustworthy, authoritative,
and credible. Let's take an example to
understand this better. Say you are searching for medical advice on the Internet and you come across
two websites. One from a reputable medical organization,
like for instance, the NHS that has
well-cited sources and a team of medical professionals
writing the content. And then another one from an
anonymous blogger who claims to be a medical expert without any credible sources to
back up their claims. Now, which website are
you more likely to trust? The first one, of course, this is because of first
website has demonstrated IE AAT by showcasing
their expertise, their authority, deafness,
and trustworthiness, which makes them a reliable
source of Why am YL content. In short, if you have a y m, y, L block, it needs to be created. All your content
needs to be created with IE AAT in mind to ensure that it is trustworthy, authoritative, and credible. If you are creating, Why am I l content? Make sure to showcase
your expertise. Link to authoritative sources, demonstrate your trustworthiness
to your audience. This will not only help you rank higher in the search results, but also help you establish as a reliable source of
information in your niche.
6. Module 2: Expertise: Welcome to Module
Two, expertise. In this module we
will focus on one of the three key elements of
AAT, which is expertise. Expertise refers to the
knowledge and skills that a blogger has in
that particular niche. When it comes to creating
high-quality content, expertise is crucial because
expertise ensures that the information
being presented is accurate and helpful
to the audience. Throughout this module,
we will explore what expertise means in the
context of IE AAT, and how to demonstrate
expertise in your blog. By the end of this module, we will have a clear understanding
of how expertise plays a critical role in creating a successful blog that
stands out in your niche.
7. What is expertise and how do you demonstrate it in your blog: Expertise refers to
having a high level of knowledge or skill in a
particular subject or field. In the context of blogging, expertise is very important
because it is really what sets you apart as a trustworthy source of
information for your readers. To demonstrate your
expertise on your blog. There are several
things that you can do. First, it is
essential to research your topic thoroughly and provide credible sources
to backup your claims. This will show your readers that you have put in the time and effort to become knowledgeable
about your subject matter. You can also showcase your
expertise by providing in-depth and insightful
analysis on your blog topics. E.g. if you are writing about the latest social media trends, you could actually provide
an in-depth analysis of the data that
you found and share your own unique
perspective on what this data might mean for
businesses or individuals. Another way to demonstrate
expertise is by providing helpful tips or advice
based on your experience. For instance, if you are a
chef and you run a food blog, you could share your tips for creating a perfect cake or how to cook a particular dish in a way that sets it
apart from others. This would show your
readers that you have a very deep understanding of cooking and that you are
an expert in your field. Ultimately, demonstrating
expertise and your blog comes down to providing high-quality
content that shows that you are
knowledgeable, experienced, and passionate
about your subject matter. When you do this consistently, you will build trust and
credibility with your readers. And they will be more
likely to see you as a reliable source of
information in your niche.
8. Tips for showcasing your expertise to your readers: As you might have guessed, it is actually really, really important to showcase your expertise to your readers. It helps build trust
and credibility, and this is essential for attracting and retaining
that loyal audience. Here are some tips
for showcasing your expertise in a way that is easy for your readers
to understand. One, provide valuable content. One of the best ways to
showcase your expertise is by providing valuable
content to your readers. Write about what your readers
might be looking for, not about what you
want to write about. Your readers should be able to gain something useful
from your blog post. An insight advice
by providing value, you establish yourself as
an expert in your field. Number two, linked to authoritative websites
by linking two websites. But a lot of authority
thing, for instance, government websites
or websites and blogs that are considered to be
taught leader than your niche, you can actually increase the
perceived expertise as it shows that you have done
research on the topic. Number three, use a
personal anecdotes. Personal anecdote, or
a great way to show your personal expertise by sharing your personal
experiences. How you overcame
certain challenges, how you did certain stuff. You can actually provide
your readers with valuable insights
and practical tips. Number four, share
your credentials. If you have any
relevant credentials such as a degree or
a certification, makes sure to highlight this. This can help establish
your authority in your field and demonstrate
your expertise theory it is. Number five. Ultimately, use case studies depending on what
you're writing about. Case studies can be a great way to showcase your
expertise in action by sharing real-life
examples of how you help the client or how
you solve the problem. You can demonstrate
your expertise and provide a valuable
insights to your readers.
9. Module 3: Authoritativeness: Welcome to Module number
three, uh, towards liveness. In this module, we will
explore the critical concept of authority stiffness
in successful blogging. We will begin by defining authority stiffness and
discussing why it is so essential for
bloggers to establish themselves as an authoritative
source in their niche. From that, we will
dive into strategies for establishing
authority in your niche, including how to create high-quality content
that showcases your expertise and how to use social media to build your
brand and reputation online. We will also discuss the
importance of building relationships with other authoritative
bloggers and your niche, as well as some practical tips for networking and collaborating with other bloggers to expand your reach and build
your authority. By the end of this module, you will have a
solid understanding of what it takes to establish authority in your niche and built a reputation as an
authoritative blogger. So let's get started and take your blogging game
to the next level.
10. What is authoritativeness and why is it important in blogging?: Authority stiffness is
an important concept in successful blogging that refers to the perception
of your knowledge, experience, and
trustworthiness on a particular topic or subject. So in other words, if you are considered an authority
on a subject, people are more likely
to trust what you have to say and
follow your advice. Being an authority in your niche is important for
several reasons. First of all, it
helps you establish your credibility and builds
trust with your readers. When readers trust you, they are more likely to
engage with your content shared with others and return
to your blog for more. Second, being an
authority in your niche can also help you stand
out from the competition. With so many blogs out there having unique perspective
or in-depth knowledge, a particular topic can set you apart and helps you
gain a loyal following. E.g. if you run a food blog, being an authority on a specific cuisine or cooking technique
could actually help you attract a
dedicated audience of food lovers who appreciate
your expertise. Similarly, if you
were to travel blog being an authority on a
particular destination, it can help you build
a loyal following of travelers who trust your
recommendations and advice. Now to establish
authoritative in your niche, it is important to consistently
create high-quality, informative content, showcases your knowledge
and expertise. You can also network with
other bloggers and your niche, participate in
online communities, and guest post on other blogs to expand your reach and
build your reputation. So in summary, being an authority in your
niche is crucial for building that trust with
your readers and for standing out in a very
crowded blogging market. And buy consistently creating high-quality content
and networking with others and your niche. You can establish yourself
as a go-to source of information and thus attract a loyal following of readers.
11. How to establish authority in your niche: So establishing authority
in your niche is, as you might have guessed,
a critical component of a creating a successful blog. And when you are an
authority in your niche, readers will actually
see you as a go-to source for
information and advice, which will then help you
build a loyal following and establish your blog as a
reputable source of content, which will then mean that you rank higher in the
Google search results. So how do you establish
authority in your niche? Here are some very simple steps or tips that you can follow. First of all, define your niche. Honestly, I don't know how many times I've
told people to please, please, please niche down. You can, you can have a very broad blog that
talks about travel and skincare and being a mom and product for your pet
and whatever naught, which is okay, but it won't really be very successful
if you're starting out now. Because you really need to niche down to establish
that authority. You will not be an
authority on and travel and skincare and pet
products and being a mom. Try and find something that really interests you
and I'm niche down and then build your authority in that niche number to
be knowledgeable. Once you have to
find that niche, makes sure that you are
knowledgeable about it. This means that you need to choose something that
you're passionate about, maybe something that you
already have knowledge over. This means that you
need to do research. So you need to stay
up to date with the latest trends
and that you do, that you need to understand the terminology that
is used in that niche. Number three, share
your knowledge. Share your knowledge
with your readers. You do this by
creating high-quality, informative content that adds a lot of value to their lives. You could do this by writing blog posts, by
answering questions, by making videos
on YouTube and an embedding those videos
in your content. By sharing your content in dedicated social
media groups, etc. Number for network with
others in your niche. Networking with
other bloggers and influencers is incredibly
important because it means that you can
collaborate on projects that you can post guest posts
on each other's blog, which will give you a link back, which is link juice, which
means that you rank higher. Share each other's content and help establish each
other's authority. Obviously, if you are a travel blogger and you want
to build your authority, don't go and collaborate with someone who is a
skincare blogger. Try and stay within your niche. There are lots and
lots and lots of Facebook groups out there for bloggers where you can put out a post about
collaboration. And I'm sure that lots and
lots of bloggers will reply. Number five, last one, engage with your readers. If people ask a
question, please answer. You can also engage
with people who are not your readers and send them to one of your blog
posts, for instance, have a look on Quora if there are questions that can be answered with one
of your blog posts, and if one of your blog
burst holds the answer, just posted, there aren't. Provides the person on
Quora with a great answer. And then link to your blog post if they want to dig deeper, I want to have more information. Remember, establishing
authority in your niche takes a lot
of time and effort. It's not something that
you're going to do today and that's gonna
be done tomorrow. This will take months. But honestly, establishing
yourself as an authority in your niche has never
been so easy just because of all the great
tools that are out there, including link building
and blogging and collaborations and
social media, et cetera. So make sure to build
authority and to make content high-quality
content that resonates with your readers.
12. Module 4: Trustworthiness: Welcome to module
four, trustworthiness. In this module, we will
explore the crucial role that trustworthiness place in
a successful blogging. Trust is the foundation
of any relationship. And the same is true for the relationship between
you as a blogger. And you'll read this when
your readers trustee, they are more likely to
engage with your content, share it with others, become loyal followers,
and click through on your blog posts and buy through your affiliate links.
More money for you. So how do you build
trust with your readers? Well, the answer is through
transparency and honesty. In this module, we will
discuss the importance of being transparent with your
readers about who you are, what you stand for, about how you operate your blog. And we will also explore
how to be honest in your content by providing
accurate information, by citing sources, and by avoiding clickbait
and sensationalism. Furthermore, we will also go over some of the
best practices for creating trustworthy
content that your readers can rely on. This includes tips for
fast, for fact-checking, Avoiding Bias, and maintaining
editorial independence. By the end of this module, you will have a clear
understanding of the role that
trustworthiness place in successful blogging and the strategies that you can use to build trust with your readers. So let's get started.
13. Understanding the role of trustworthiness in blogging: Trustworthiness is an essential element
in successful blogging because it helps you establish credibility
with your readers. When your reader stretchy, they are more likely to
return to your blog, recommended to others, engage with your content and
like I said before, by through your affiliate links. So what makes your
blog trustworthy? There are a few key
things to keep in mind. Firstly, it is important to be transparent and
honest with ureters. This means that you are being
upfront with who you are, your values, your
motivations for blogging. If you are promoting a product or a service for exit, e.g. be clear about your affiliation and why you are recommending it. Another important aspect of
trustworthiness is accuracy. It is crucial to fact
check your content and do provide sources
to backup your claims. So if you're writing
about a topic that you know an expert in, consider consulting
someone else or doing extensive research to ensure that you're providing
accurate information. Finally, it is important to be consistent and reliable
with your blogging. This means sticking to a
schedule and delivering high-quality content
on a regular basis. Your readers should know what
to expect from your blog. And you should strive to meet or exceed those expectations
with every single post. By focusing on this transparency does accuracy, it
is reliability. You can actually build a lot of trust with your
readers and create a successful blog that
stands the test of time.
14. How to build trust with your readers through transparency and honesty: In this section, we will discuss some easy-to-follow
strategies for building trust
with your readers. Firstly, be transparent about who you are and
what you stand for. Share your story, your mission, what your readers let
them get to know, you, let them get to
know your values. Because when you're
open about who you are, your readers will feel
like they know you and they will be much
more likely to trust you. You can do this by
having an author bio, by having an About Me
section on your blog, or just having this little
section you're like a mission statement almost on
the homepage of your blog. Secondly, please be honest
about your content. Don't make false claims or exaggerate the benefits
of a product or service. Because honestly, your readers
will see through this and will quickly lose trust in you. Instead, focus on providing valuable and
accurate information that your readers can trust. So for instance, as an example, someone who has been in the
blogosphere for quite awhile. I note sets of hosting
companies that offer a lot of money to bloggers to
promote them on that block. And I know that those
hosting companies have incredibly bad
products and services, like very, very bad. And they're very
expensive compared to other hosting services. So whenever I see one of
those guys about, oh, how to start blogging, or five ways to build
a blog in one day. And they are promoting
that hosting service. My, my trust for that blogger
goes out to zero because I know that instead of
reaching out to people, helping them and
offering them hosting servers that won't
break the bank and good value for money. They'd rather just have like $50 that they get from
the hosting company, if that makes sense. So my trust in that
blogger is zero. Thirdly, engage
with your readers and respond to their
comments and questions. Why is this important? Well, it shows your readers
that you actually value their input and that you are committed to building a
relationship with them. Hence, the trust will grow when you engage
with your readers. You're also building
a community of like-minded individuals who then trust you and your content. Finally, be transparent about any sponsored content
or affiliate links. Let your readers know
that you may receive compensation for promoting
certain products or services. And this will show them
that you valued at trust and that you're committed to being honest and transparent. The fact that this is actually a legal
requirements aside, it is just a really
good thing to do just to build trust
with your readership. So in summary, building
trust with your readers is crucial for creating
a successful blog. And by being transparent
about who you are about your content, by engaging with
your readers and by disclosing any sponsored
content or affiliate links, you can easily establish trust and build a loyal audience.
15. Best practices for creating trustworthy content: Now, here are some tips on
creating trustworthy content. Most of the tips you
will already have had in this module, but I just wanted to put everything together in
one handy little video. Number one, be transparent. Let you reduce know who you are and what your expertise is. Share your credentials and
experience and make it clear why you are qualified to write about your blogs topic. Number two side,
reliable sources. Whenever you make a claim, provide evidence to back it up, site authoritative
sources such as scientific studies
or expert opinions. And avoid using unreliable
sources such as unverified blogs or
social media posts. Trust me, Google knows
that difference. Fact check your content
is number three. Make sure that all
the information that you provide is accurate
and up-to-date. Double-check your facts and statistics and avoid
spreading misinformation. Because if your readers see that you are trying
to misinformed them, again, the trust goes down. Be honest, don't exaggerate or make false claims just to
get clicks or attention. Be honest about what you know, about what you don't know, and admit when you've
made mistakes. And number five, lastly, write clearly and concisely. Use plain language
and avoid jargon or technical terms that your
readers may not understand. Ribonucleic concise
manner that is easy for your readers to
understand and to follow. One of the ways that I
like to do this is by using Hemingway and by
using the Flesch score. Basically having white is a really great tool
that lets you know which sentences are
maybe a bit jargony or maybe a bit long
or hard to read. And then you can
easily just change and date of the sentence
and make it easier to read.
16. Module 5: Applying EAT to Your Blog: Welcome to Module five, applying AAT to your blog. In this module, we will focus on practical ways to apply IE
AAT principles to your blog. We will start by
showing you how to audit your blog for
IE AAT compliance. Which means that we're
going to assess how your blog currently
meets standards. Once you have a clear idea
of where your block stamps, we will PSAT tips for optimizing your content to meet
those standards. We will also show you how
to create high-quality, authoritative content
that demonstrates your expertise and builds
trust with your readers. Ie AAT is not just about
the content you create. It's also about how you
promote your blog and build credibility and
authority on line. And that is why we
will cover strategies for promoting your
blog and building your brand to establish yourself as a trusted source of
information in your niche. By the end of this module, you will have a clear
understanding of how to apply IE AAT principles to your blog
and create a trustworthy, authoritative online
presence that attracts a loyal readership. So let's dive in.
17. What about E-E-A-T?: Some smart cookies
on or you might have noticed that I'm mostly
talking about IE, AAT, and not the newer,
more flashy EPEAT. The extra E and E
stands for experience, because Google would
like you to have first-hand experience in
the topic we're discussing. I've, I've basically told you
this throughout the course. This firsthand experience is particularly
important for why am YL websites which provides
advice or information that can impact a person's financial or
physical well-being. Now, I personally have
always considered experience to be part of both expertise and
trustworthiness, which is why I have included
it as such in the course. Because after all, if you're writing a review
about a restaurant, but you've never eaten
at that restaurant. Your readers are unlikely to trust your opinion
and you will not be able to show your expertise when it comes to eating
at this restaurant. So like I said to me, experience is a combination of expertise and
trustworthiness. So how do we
showcase experience? Well, by writing from a
very personal standpoint, you can show readers
that you have first-hand experience
and knowledge about the topic that
you're discussing. Obviously. Again, experience
alone is not enough. You still need the E and
the a and the T as well. But if we have
firsthand experience with a product or service, don't be shy to write from
a personal perspective.
18. Evaluating EAT - Content: If you want to audit your
blog for EIT compliance, a very first thing you're gonna
do is check your content. And you should take a look
at your blocks competent, and assess whether
it demonstrates your expertise and
authority in that niche. Now, why is this important? Well, the last few major
Google algorithm updates were all focused on IE AAT. I think the most shocking one, the one that sent an
earthquake through online land of blogs and websites was the Google
product review update. Basically what happened
was Google notice that a lot of websites and
blogs were pushing, like literally pushing
high ticket items through quite salesy
false reviews. And then they were making a lot of money through
affiliate links. Now, these websites to have obviously a very
positive reviews of those high ticket items. And they were slacking off low ticket items because
they were trying to get more affiliate money by selling the high
ticket item, e.g. if it was a review but phones, they were going to big up the
Apple iPhone while slugging off a cheaper phone in order for people to choose
the Apple iPhone, which would earn them a
lot more affiliate money. And Google notice this. I mean, I, as a
consumer noticed it. And basically it doesn't
serve the audience because you are
basically kinda lying. Just to add more money
if that makes sense. And so Google pushed through an update
for product reviews. That would mean that you'd have to show that you are an expert, that you had firsthand
experience with a certain products in order
for you to rank quite high. So yeah, that is how expertise and authority
became a really, really important and why a
lot of blogs are now writing. Like if you feel
it when you read it and writing from
first-hand experience. And this is to show expertise and authority
in that niche. That our thing to do
when you're checking your content is check
if your continent supported by credible
sources and if it's accurate, informative,
and well-researched, one thing you can do is check
whether you've included a do follow links to credible
high-authority websites, such as government
websites or websites that are well-known
within your niche. Now, these do follow
outbound links. In SEO world are
called authority links because you are
linking to do font. I'll link to a very
authoritative websites that shows that you have
researched your content. And those links from
your content to a higher authority website also help build your authority. If that makes sense, I
would include a minimum of two Authority links in
every single blog post. I would try and link to. Government websites are
highly, highly informative. Websites. Don't just link to another blog, link to a website of an organization where
people can find a lot of information or something that Google will recognize as having a lot of
authority in an edge. What I would do is I would go to five average performing
blogs on your website, write them down as well. And I would include two maximum five authority
links in every single article. And I will check whether or not there is
something that you could do to make sure that you show your expertise
and authority, to show that you really
researched that blog post. Like I said, write them
down and then in one month, just have a look whether
or not you gained keywords or if you
gained any traffic.
19. Evaluating EAT - Website: You will also want to
evaluate your website. Have a look at your website, design the structure,
the layout, because they all play a vital role in
demonstrating IE AAT. Sure that your website is well organized and it's
user-friendly, way clear navigation and a
professional appearance. I know that a lot of bloggers choose style over substance. I used to be one of them
when I first started. I just wanted my blog
to look very nice and beautiful and as
good as possible. But I kind of forgot that my blog also should
load very fast, preferably 100
two-and-a-half seconds. I think I wasn't like 10.5. And my blog did not have a
user-friendly interface, so I had to completely
redesign on my blog. Oh my God, it literally
skyrocketed of my visits. You should also think
about whether or not you have included do follow
links to your own content. Yes, please make them do follow, don't make them nofollow though, you want the bot to follow those links
to your own content, perform a check in Google
Search Console whether or not there are any problems with mobile friendliness or indexing. So you can do this
by having a look at the indexing reports. It's just unlike
you'll start page and ad experience report. You can also go to PageSpeed Insights,
page speed insights. This is a Google website that shows you how fast or how slow your website is loading and whether or not it
passes cool wet vitals, which by the way, are a ranking factor.
20. Evaluating EAT - Reputation: You will also want to
assess your reputation. To build trustworthiness,
you need to evaluate your reputation online. Check whether you
have any reviews. So bloggers who are selling online products
can have reviews, check your reviews, or
they're positive or negative. What can you change? Check
your social media presence, and check whether
or not there are online mentions to
ensure that your brand, the brand of your blog,
is perceived positively. So you can actually
create a Google Alert. So I just googled
Google or the huts. I create a Google
Alerts and then include your name or
the name of your blog. And then whenever your name or the name of your
blog is mentioned, you will receive an email. Now as an example, in
the travel community, there was a bit of an opera. I was very, very small, but that was a bit of
an uproar last year. As a certain well-known
travel bloggers were invited to visit Syria in order to promote tourism to Syria. And there was a
bit of a backlash where other bloggers
started to write blogs, to call out some of
these travel bloggers, and to make a push for
ethical travel blogging. Another thing to consider is whether or not you are
active on social media. If so, have you posted recently? You don't need to
post every day. It is best to maintain one or two active
profiles where you post content from your
blog rather than tan profiles that
aren't very active. There has been some talk about social links being
ranking signals and not ranking factors
but ranking signals. So do keep this in mind. Make sure that people
who are following you on the social pages are actually
interested in your content. So that if people when
they click through, they would actually spend time reading your content
so that they would spend a lot of time on your blog instead of just clicking
through and then clicking away.
21. Evaluating EAT - Security and Transparency: The next two I'm going
to put together, and that is security
and transparency. First of all, you need
to make sure that your website is secure. Website security is essential for building
trustworthiness. So ensure that your website has an SSL certificate and that your content is free from spammy links or
malicious software. Also make sure that when
you are linking that you're linking to websites with
an SSL certificate, your host should normally offer you a free
SSL certificates. I'm going to be very honest. If they do not offer you
a free SSL certificate, if you have to be like $10, $20 a year, just
change your host. Another thing is
to be transparent. Transparency is key to building
trust with your readers. So make sure that you are open and honest
about affiliations, about sponsorships,
about advertising. So one thing that
you could do is make sure that you have a little disclaimer about
affiliate links. This could be in your
About Me section, about a blog section, or down in one of the
photos of your block.
22. Evaluating EAT - Links: And then last but not least, have you built
through right, links. As we all know, link building is an important part
of SEO and IE AAT. But you will want
to avoid building spammy links by commenting
on other blogs and including your links
or paying someone on a gig economy websites such as Fiverr to build links for you. You need to make sure that
the majestic spam school, Majestic is a website such as
moles or such as age reps. They give you a spam score
of the backlink profile. So you need to make sure
that it's spam scored at the Backlink profile
of the website that you are getting
links from is low. So that the website
that you're getting links from has very, has a very low spam score. The best thing that you can do is actually collaborate with other bloggers to post guest posts or participate
in link exchanges. And you need to make sure that these bloggers are people
within your own niche. There's no use in
new building links from people who are in a
completely different niche, or from, from brands or websites that have
nothing to do with yours. Make sure you stay within
your niche or within the subject of blog that
you are building links to. Even the past, you have built links by using people
from, I don't know, like Fiverr or by having
boats comment on posts, which is a very bad idea. You can always Disavow Links, but unless you know that these links are incredibly spammy or that you
have been attacked, Do not to disavow links. Google knows what's good and what's bad and
what's u and what's not. You.
23. Strategies for promoting your blog to build credibility and authority: Promoting your blog is
a critical aspect of building credibility and
authority in the blogging world. One effective strategy
is to collaborate with other authoritative
bloggers in your niche. Guest posting is a
great way to do this. So when your guest post
on, on, on our blog, you have the opportunity to
showcase your expertise to a new audience and gain
exposure for your blog. Another way to promote
your blog is through interviews or expert roundups. By participating in these
types of collaborative posts, you can build relationships with other authoritative vloggers in your niche and attract
new readers to your blog. One website you might want
to check out is Hero. Help a Reporter out. So HARQ, Help a Reporter out. Here, publications
and newspapers. Big ones like Huffpost or CNN, can ask for expert
opinions or quotes. And then these publications will often link back to your website, which makes that
this is not only a great way to build your
brand and reputation, you will also get a
high value backlink. Last but not least, don't
forget to take advantage of special niche social
media platform. For instance, if you
are a book blogger, good reads can be an
excellent platform to share your blog and connect with
other book lovers and engaging with your followers and other bloggers on
these platforms can help you build
your authority and credibility in your niche.
24. How to write high-quality content that meets EAT standards: When it comes to creating high-quality content that
meets IE AAT standards, that are a few things
to keep in mind. First, it is essential
to research your topic thoroughly and to use credible sources to
backup your claims. This will help you establish your expertise and build trust with your readers and don't forget to link to your sources. Next, make sure that
your content is well organized and easy to read. Use headings and subheadings
to break up your text and include plenty of whitespace to make your content
visually appealing. Also, use a conversational
tone and avoid using overly technical language or jargon that your readers
might not understand. Obviously, if you
have a niche website, There's only really interested, interesting for people within
its very specific niche, you can use jargon, but if not, please refrain. It's also crucial to make
sure that your content is original and not copied
from other sources. Plagiarism can damage your
credibility and authority. So always give credit
to your sources and avoid using someone else's
content without permission. In addition to these tips, there are a few more things
to keep in mind when writing high-quality content
means IE, AAT standards. First of all, use examples and case studies to illustrate
your points and demonstrate your expertise
to use images and other visual
elements to break up your text and make your
content more engaging. Nobody wants to see just
a massive wall of text. Three, it makes sure that your
content is up-to-date and reflects the latest information
and trends in your niche. If you go back to some
of the articles I have written before and
you rework them, especially articles
older than two years. And you rework them, you'll notice that they might
suddenly start ranking. Be transparent and honest
with your readers. If you make a mistake or need to correct something
in your content, be upfront about it, and make the necessary changes.
25. Blog post example : I want to show you what a
great blog post looks like, not just from IE
AAT perspective, also from an native perspective, but just like a great blog post. And I will take you to a
drafts the age ref blog, age reps is a massive player in the SEO community is
basically a tool that allows you to research anything
from blogs to keywords, to competitors, to upsides, to backlinks,
anything SEO related. It is incredibly expensive. So I don't think that not many bloggers are able
to outward afford it. But I do recommend
even if you're a veteran blogger or
two every now and then, just go to their blogs and have a look at what they're doing, whether you're
writing about just because their information is
so good and so actionable. One of the first
things that we're noticing is that
Joshua Hardwick, who was the head of
content for age reps, has a little author bio. There's obviously build your trustworthiness
authoritative nodes and IE, AAT. I mean, if this guy doesn't have authority about what
he's talking about, I don't know who has. Another thing that I really, really love about
all the plugs in age rafts is that there's never, ever a massive,
massive wall of text. They make amazing use of headings and
subheadings and images. And all of their
images have a purpose. They just don't, they
don't just black put images in just for the
sake of putting images in. So for instance, this
one is to showcase, hey, does this a site explorer
and visits backlinks report? And this is the 80,000 links, back links that
this person has on their blog or a stress
has on their website. Again, here, they use a
different little color just to kind of showcase another thing that
the Site Explorer can do, showcase your
organic competitors. Now, here when we look
at the other blogs, at the other part of the blog, does no massive
amount of texts here. But Herder is, but it doesn't
really matter because age reps is using
these numbered lists, which basically means that your, the flow of the article
isn't really impacted. Imagine if this had
a massive paragraph, it would, it would just
look weird, right? Like you would have images, hair, and then just
massive paragraphs. So that is why it is better to work with
a numbered list here just to make sure that
people who are scanning the article don't lose airflow. Let's go down. Another
thing you'll notice is that they have
side notes here. Now, I love this side notes. They're so smart. They are in just a little bit of a lighter gray to not
draw your eye to it. They're a little bit
smaller as well in a less heavy, heavy font. And they're just useful
for people who are, who are reading this article into the flag very
deeply, did it? It's not for scammer ever
skip for skimmer, sorry. It's all for people who
are skimming the articles. We prefer people who are
actually reading it. But because it's a lighter
gray and unless every font, it's not really subtracting from the actual flow
of the article. Again, like we've seen
so many internal links to the content
explorer and through like the Site Explorer and
other blogs of age rafts. Then here is the one of their
first authority lengths. So they're mentioning
the IRS 2022, state of link, state of
link building reports. And they basically linked to that state of link building
report via it do follow. Backlink. Explorer
is an internal link and I'm here to have linked
to some YouTube videos. And I guess they are the YouTube videos
of a trust themselves. And this is a blog post hosted on their own blog, Gan hair. Some authority links to
help or report or out. I'm MC rack. There we go. Side explore internal
link, further reading. I love these as well. If you're like, okay,
I get what it's about. What is hot, what is HARQ? And then you can click here
to do some further reading. I think it's just like
a really great way to build a, an article. Just because everything
has its place. Everything is there
to explain something. And they use lots and lots
and lots of examples. And examples are also
a great way to build not only your expertise
but also your experience. There we go. Way back machine,
pitch box, bus stream. They are all authority links. And then if you go
all the way down, we again have a
little author box for Joshua Hardwick and, um, some final thoughts. Yeah, I think this is a
really great article. I don't really like. I don't really know how
it would work for me to build my articles this way because I'm obviously
in the travel niche. But I do sometimes dry, especially when I'm writing
about certain things like, for instance, visiting
the Eiffel Tower. You could do something
like this because you can use lists and bullet
points and images, etc. But obviously if you're writing about the top ten hotels in, let's say London,
it's a bit harder.
