And let's show you how to create your first viral short video today. 2. Researching Viral Topics (lesson 1): Welcome to the first lesson of this viral short form content creation master class. In this lesson, I'm going to be showing you how you can research trending and viral topics for your videos in order to make them have high engagement. I'm going to show you four different tools or sites that you can use to do your research accurately. The first tool that I'm going to be using here today is Google Trends. All you need to do is to head over to your browser and in the search bar, you type trends you type trends.google.com. Okay? So once you type this, you make sure your Google account is signed in and then you just press Enter. Okay? So once you do that, you're going to see this page, this page like this. So the tab that we are more interested in is this trending now tab. This trending now tab. What we're going to do is just tap on this trending now tab here it's going to show us all the trends, all the trends you can see. You can see the different filters, the country the time. You can see it set to the past ten 4 hours, the categories, the trends, and the relevance. So depending on the country or the audience that you are targeting with your videos, you are going to be selecting the country here. So here, I'm going to just put I will just put the United States because I want to target people living in the United States here. So I'm going to type this and then just select this. Okay? So once you select this, you can select all regions, or you can select any country. Let me show you again. You can select any states rather in the United States. You can see all these regions here or you can just leave it in all regions. Once you leave it here, you see the different searches that are trained in right now. If you have a particular niche that you actually create your content for this is where you are going to select it. You can see different niches here. Technology, beauty and fashion transportation. But if you don't really have a niche, you're still trying to find your niche or you are just more focused on creating a viral short of just different viral shorts videos, then you can leave it in all categories. But if you want to niche down to something like business and fashion or entertainment, you can just select it, and then you will see different you'll see different trends here, right? So for the time here, I actually suggest the past 4 hours. So if you select these past 4 hours, as long as their search is here, then you will get more accurate or more relevant results. So once you select this, you can see you can see the trends search volume 20 k plus started 2 hours ago, and you can see the tags, the different tags, you can see. So if you scroll down, you can just pick a topic here. You pick a topic here. If you want to do a video on the Billboard Music Awards 2024, you pick this there and then we're going to use it to create your video, to create the video scripts in the next lesson. Google Trends is my go to site because I can get a lot of information from the sites, a lot of trending topics, including the tags. You can see the trend breakdown Kernel for this one, in case you don't understand this, you can get more info you can see more info here more info of what they actually search four. You can see it here. You can check this trend breakdown section for it. Once you get here, once you are here, what you want to do now is to change this birelevance to surge volume, Sarge volume. So once it changes to sage volume, it's going to arrange it in descending order of sage volume. That means the most searched them or the most searched topic is going to be at the top, as you can see, 50 20, 2010 k5k, five k. So you can now choose to pick the top topic here or you can pick the second to the top one or the third one and then make a video on it. All right. So that's it for these trends, you can see, you can tap on this, you can toggle this show active trends the show active trends, you can toggle it on it to show you the topics that are currently trend in right now. You can see everything is active ax Acxive active. You can see active active, okay? So by toggling this on, you get even better topics that you can use, you know, for your shots from content. So basically, for these Google Trends, all I've said now is, first of all, you can choose your location, the location of your audience, and for the time, you can reduce it to 4 hours. This will show you the recent trends, the most recent trends. You can put this in 4 hours. And for the categories, if you don't have a specific niche that you want your video to be in, you can leave it in all categories. But if you have a niche, then you pick any niche that is any topic here that is relevant to your niche. And for this section here, the trend status, turn on these active trends only. So it will give you trends that are currently active. And for this one, for the last filter, change it to search volume so that it will arrange it and put the trendiest topic at the top for you, right? So that's it for Google Trends. The next sites that we're going to be using for our research is none other than Twitter. All right, so you need to just go to x.com, right? Formerly known as Twitter x.com. X.com. And right here, right here. Hello Musk. Such a funny man. Right here at the right hand side, you can see this tab here. This what's happening tab, you can see here. So if you're using the phone, you can also find this tab once you tap, I think it's when you tap this sage bar. When you tap this sage bar, I think so this sage bar here, you'll be able to see the trending topics if you're using the phone. Okay? But if you're using the PC, which is much better, you can see this trending tab here. So what you're going to do is just tap this show more. So once you tap show more, it will bring you to the Twitter Explore tab. And in this for you section, these are trends that are specifically, that are personalized based on your interactions or your activities on Twitter. You can see this national grid and also your location too. I said trending in Nigeria because I am currently in Niger, trending in Nigera trending in Nigeria, trending. Okay, so what you are going to do here is just to tap on this trending tab. I was going to show you all the trending topics currently. You see, see if you scroll down, you will see more trending topics that you can actually do your video on and your video will gain traction. If it's news for several different niches, you can come to this new stab the FBI staged if you want more context for this, you can just click on it, and it will show you what people are actually posting, you know, what people are actually posting, you know, concerning this. You can see this. So if you actually do a shot on this topic now on Donald Trump's assassination, failed assassination actually being fake. This video actually do well. Okay? So this is why Sweeter is actually, you know, a good tool for researching trends, and you can change sports, you can change the entertainment. That's it for Tweeter. I don't want to spend much on this particular tool because I know that most of you already used to using Sweeter. So that's how you use Swetar to do your research. And the next tool I'm going to be showing you in this lesson is Sik talk. All right? So all you have to do is just type sitok.com in your browser sage bar so once it has loaded, you're going to come to this Explore tab. Just tap on this Explore tab. Once you tap on it, you can see this trend in today. It's going to show you different TikTok videos, different TikToks that are currently traded in today. You can see this first one. And this one is called is on the car. This is a TikTok about a car. So you can watch it and see what's actually about this specific car, the specific model, this video is actually about and then you can recreate it yourself. Okay? So you can recreate this. And you can also scroll down. You can see different, um, different niches, different topics or different niches. If you're interested, if you want to make a video, it shots from video on comedy, sports, anime, relationship. I'm more interested in technology, okay? So I will just scroll down technology you can see, and then I tap on it. So once I tap on it and I scroll down, you can see different videos, okay, see different videos. So what I'm just going to do now is if I wanted to create to pick a topic for me, I'm just going to look at the one with the highest views. The ones that have high views, you can see this one this one has 106 106,000 views. Okay? And this is a video on I think this I don't know what this is. I think this is a phone. Yeah, this is a phone here. So if you can check this watch this video, then recreate it. Okay, we can recreate it ourselves using cap codes and then post on Sik Talk, post it on YouTube, post it on Instagram, and then see how it does. Okay? This is just how you research trending topics on Sik Talk, right? So you can keep schooling, this trending today. Just watch the videos that are actually, you know, trending today. Don't waste time binging because I know it happens to the most of us. If you come to TikTok and you decide to watch one video, you keep screening and screening Scoli try as much as possible to avoid that, right? And that's it for TikTok. The next and the last site or two that I'm going to be showing you now is one that I actually like a lot. So I'm going to be showing you this site now, and the name of this site is answerdplic.com. Answer answer thepublic.com. This is it. Let me just clear everything on the back. I'm going to be dropping I'm going to be providing a PDF that is going to contain every link, the links to every site and every tool that I'm going to using in this class. In this course, I'm going to be including a PDF a downloadable PDF for you so that you can easily find the links. Every every single size I'm going to be showing you in this course. Let's is ansadpublic.com. It's a free site. So if you don't sign in, you can use it once for one search. But if you register for free, you get free daily searches. What I'm going to do now is you can see it has for Google, it has for Bing, YouTube, TikTok, Amazon, Instagram. If I want to search for topics that are actually trend in on YouTube, or let me see, TikTok, I can just tap on SiTalk. If it's YouTube, I can tap on YouTube and here for YouTube, I can change the location, of course, so the location of my audience. Which is I want United States. Okay? If it's English, if you're an English speaker, you leave it as English. And here you type the topic brand or product. So if you want to search, you can see, if you want to search something based on technology or something based on sports or something based on, let me see this trending now, video games. You can see this one is trending currently, and let me just search video games, right then search. Let's see what was going to come out. Wait for it to load. Right. So you can see different if you scroll down, this is why I love it so much because of this kind of charts that it creates, this kind of charts that it creates for me. So here, you can see the different topics, different questions that people are actually searching for. Are video games bad for you? A video games a waste of time, video games is seen, blah, blah, blah, blah. For recap, the sites that I mentioned, Google Trends, dot com. This is TwitarsEplo Page. Also TikToks Explore page and then answerdpobli.com.Thise are the sites that you are going to be using to research and find trending topics for your short form videos. So this is what I want you to do right now. Just post this video, pick any sites any of the sites that I've shown you here. You can go to Google Trends and just research any trending topic. I need you to just pick any trending topic, right, you can go to Google Trends, like I mentioned earlier, and just speak you can pick something like these video games awards, 2024 or this or this. Just pick something that has lots that has context. Like this one now, it's not easy to just understand by just looking at this **** Van ****. You don't really understand it like something like this Billboard music awards, you can pick it, or you can come to the Twitter Expo page and pick something or you come to Tik Tok, right? So just speak any topic. That's what I want you to do right now because in the next lesson, I'm going to be showing you how you generate a script for your video using Chat GPT. All right. See you in the next lesson. 3. Creating your script (lesson 2): This lesson, I am going to be showing you how you can create a script for your video topic using AI tools like hat GPT. Alright, so first of all, let me show you something. This video game Awards 2024. I decided to go to Twitter to search it and see how trendy it is. Remember that I picked this, I turned on these active trends. I toggled this on. Turning this on simply means that Google Trends will show me topics that are currently trending. Right now. If I toggle this off, you see that it will show me trends that have also ended, trends that you can see this trend lasted 1 hour and it ended. It started 4 hours ago, they lasted for only 1 hour. That means it's no longer training but it's still a good idea to do a video on a topic like that. But for this one now, if I toggle this on, okay, you can see all these trends are currently active. Now, if I come to Twitter Explore to this Twitter page, and then I search video games, video game awards 2024, you can see it here. I already searched it. So if I tap this now, you can see, see this post 7 minutes ago. 7 minutes ago and its already has 43 k impressions. This is the time for crying out loud. This is just 1:43 A.M. In the morning, you can see 43 k impressions already. If you keep screening, you will see more. You can see 101 k impressions, 1.2 if you scroll even see one of you will see a post with 1 million impressions already. And that just goes to show you can see this 1 million impressions. That goes to show you. That just shows you that this topic is actually trending and it's actually a good idea to do a shorts video on this and post it on the Internet. Now, let's go ahead to create so pick a topic, right? I want to pick a topic that I'm going to be doing this video on. And why I'm going to pick this topic right here in this video is so that you can understand something. First of all, Topics that are currently trained in topics that are currently trended in. You can't really get a decisive scripts, a complete scripts. Like now, for example, the video game awards is currently trending. That means that they are currently still giving the awards, and there's no final list of those that were awarded. Assuming I wanted to do a video talking about the top three people or the top three games that got an award this night. I don't actually have complete information about that. This is happening in real time. And I need to wait for this to end before I can actually do a video on all the awards that were given out and all the people that won the award. I hope you understand completely, right? So you need to take that into consideration when picking a topic. You can still do a video on this topic and just pick some other thing that has already happened. But in this case, you might not be able to use AI. Unless you have access to Goog. Because this Go can easily just search Twitter. It has access to the Twitter API and it can search it for you and give you a script, based on real time information from Twitter. But if you don't, you might have to just follow the topic yourself and just check for something that is interesting. But if you don't want to do that, you just want to use AI to completely create your script that says, you know, a complete scripts for you, then you have to pick a topic that is probably no longer, trained in now. Okay? So what I'm going to do now for the sake of this course is to um I'm going to change this to all categories, I'm going to change it to all categories, and then I will remove this ton this off, right? All right, but I'm still going to leave this search volume. I'm going to leave it here at sage volume so that I can find topics that, you know, have decisive results. So if I scroll down with bits now, I'll be able to see just on a topic like let me change this to past 24 hours past 24 hours. And then, okay, you can see this topic. This was actually the topic I saw before and I got interested in. All right. So this YouTube TV price increase, you can see that this has evolved sage volume of 100 k plus. Okay? And it started 10 hours ago. 10 hours ago is just like yesterday, so it's still enough. It's still good enough, you know, for me to do a topic. I mean, for me to do a video on this. So what I'm going to do now is just to first of all, go to chatgpt.com. I'm going to explain something to you all right now. Okay? So first of all, let me go to chartjpt.com. This is the site for CHATGPT. This is the link for CharTGPT. When I do this, you can see that I have a clean state. What I'm just going to do is, create a I'll just tell Chat GPT first. I need to give it enough information, right? I want to oh, let me ask this first of all. Do you know do you know about the YouTube CV prices increase. Okay, so let me send just to charge PT and see what he's going to tell me. All right, so it's searchable site Great. All right, so now, this is what I want you to know. First of all, this charge GPT now, what I've noticed or I'm not sure if this still applies, but I think it still applies because you get limited access to Charge GPT four oh, limited access. And this charge GT four oh actually has the feature of being able to search the Internet for view time information. As you can see, it searched the Internet for this YouTube TV prize and this. You see it sees in order to give me this information. But if you are using a Char EPT that does not have real time access to information from the Internet, it will be a problem because we are looking for trending topics, and if your AI to cannot access the Internet in real time, it's just going to be picking information from its own datasets. Most of these datasets have not been updated. The last updates can be in 2021, 2022 or 2023. You understand. Now, in this case, what do you actually do? You can use co pilots, right? This is a tool that I personally use. This tool is right here. If you are using Microsoft's Edge browser, it's right here. As long as you are using Windows PC, you can also find it right here so you can set the icon here or if you're using a different browser, you can easily just type co pilot, dots miicrosoft.com. So once you type this, you can say copilot to microsoft.com. If you're using a Chrome browser, it's going to open up this co piload chart for you. So let me just wait for it to look. You can see it here. All right. So what I'm going to do right here is just to type the same thing. So let me come to Chart ZPT and just copy this now the difference between this or the difference and the similarity between Microsoft copilot and Char GBC is that Microsoft Co Pilot is actually based on Chart GPT four. It is based on ChargGBT four, but the difference between it and Char GB four is a Chart GBT four. The ordinary Char G four model does not have real time Internet access, but this one is actually integrated with the Binge browser. It has real time Internet access, and you can see if I send this to it now, you will see the response that it's going to give me. Let me just solve this capture. Alright, so you can see, if I come to the bottom here, you can see different links here. That means it's actually search the Internet for the information. And you can see that it has increased the price from 72.99 to 82.99. Okay? And chargebt here to those saves 3283, it's still the same syndrome. But chargeability actually just approximated it, right? So 72.99 is the same as 73. So basically, what I'm saying is if you want to do your research, I actually recommend Microsoft's co pilots. So it's co pilots or microsoft.com. I'm going to drop the link too. It's going to be in the PDF, the download PDF that you're going to get after completing this course. So you'll be able to get it. And then, let me just continue here. All right? You can use CharPT as long as it has Internet access, you can see this and you can also use Microsoft co pilot, right? So the next to do is now is to tell it, I want to create a short 1 minute long. I want to go with a 1 minute long YouTube. Short on this topic. Create on this topic, right? So create a script for me. All right, so just send it to it. All right, so you can see. I see these scripts that it has created these scripts that it has created, right? So it also added the different sense added different scenes for opening scene called to screen recording. Screen recording you can see the visual screen recording of YouTube homepage, starting screen close off of you speaking new prize. So, okay, we're going to use this, but for now, what we need is just a script. So I'm going to tell you now is, I only need script for voice over remove any other thingin you added and give me a short captivating voice over script. On this topic, for a 1 minute video. Great. So I'll send it to you and beautiful. And also added a call to action. Are you considering sticking with YouTube Savi looking for alternative. Let me know in the comments section in the comments. Don't forget to like share and subscribe for more of this. So this is perfect. You can also choose to refine it to edit, you know, to add a little more touch, you know, remove something, add something else, right? So you can do all that, right. But for me or for now, I am okay with this. All right, so I'm okay with this. I'm just going to copy this, and this is my voice over scripts. So I'm going to copy this and I'll just go to docs google.com and create a new doc and past this day. Alright, it's great. So I've pasted it here. Now, this is exactly how you generate these scripts that you are going to use for your voiceover. Another too you can actually use that has real time access to the Internet is mi do google.com, emidggle.com. You can say, you need to have a Google account, okay. So make sure your Google account is logged in on your PC. If I just the same thing. Do you This is a very funny question considering that Gemini is also a product of the same company that created YouTube, let's see if it's actually those. You see, there's a multi price increasing the same thing. These are the three tools that I recommend. I recommend these three tools. The first is Microsoft's co pilot. The second for me right here is Gemini because Gemini always has access to Google and it always has access to real time. Information. I thought that the last one is chargPt as long as it can scrap the wave, right? So use any of this. And remember in the last lesson I told you to pick a topic, right? So what you're going to do right now is to take that topic use co pilot, use any site you want to use any AI so you can choose to use Gemini, you can use co pilot, you can use charge a bit and use it to generate a script. Also remember remember the prompts I use. I'm also going to drop a link to the prompts. I'm going to drop it on the PDF file for you. Remember to always tell the AI to make sure the script that it's creating for you is within 1 minute so that it don't create something long. This one might exceed 1 minute a bit and it not even if it won't exceed it for, um, it's exceeded by more than let me see, 5 seconds or more. It's exceeded for more than 5 seconds, but it should be within the 1 minute range. This script here, it's short. Make sure you do that and once you're done with your scripts, copy it and paste it in your Goo Docs or Microsoft Word or your notepad, any tool that I use. That's it for this lesson. In the next lesson, I'm going to be sure you have, you can create the voiceover for your video yourself and using AI. Sing you the next lesson. 4. Using Vocal Isolator (lesson 3): This lesson, I'm going to be showing you how you can create a voiceover for your video from these scrypts that we've gotten from Chat, GPT, or Microsoft copilot. So the first method you can actually use is to record the voiceover yourself using your own voice and your phone. So you can use your imbued voice recorder, your imbuted sound recorder and your laptop on your phone to record yourself reciting or seeing these scripts here, right? So I already did that using the sound recorder on my phone and I already have it on my laptop. So once you already have that, before you can use it on your video, you actually need to remove some background noise. Assuming you recorded the voice over in a noisy place. Okay? So you need to do a little bit of vocal isolation. Even though you can do it on cap codes, but it is a pro feature. Okay? You can only use the vocal isolator if you're a pro user. So there's an alternative for this. So first of all, let's clean the audio, right? So the first thing we need to do is to go to 11 labs dot IO, 11 labs dot IO so these sites will help us create AI voice overs, and it's also going to help us isolate our vocals, you know, from all the noise in the background, right? So what we want to do here is to create an account First of all, you must know that the free version of 11 labs is actually limited. You have access to just about 10,000 tokens or, and it might just be enough or good enough for let me say like two videos or one video. If you're going to using voco I little, I'm going to be using voiceover generator. So the first thing I'm going to be doing here is open a new tab and just type TempmildtOg Okay, so you can use temmle.org or you can use I think there is another one. You can use T J search Temp Mal. Okay, once you search TMNTempMals going to bring out different ones. So the one that I've actually used myself that actually works is this temmdt org. I couldn't find the one I was looking for, but it's right, so I will just tap the second one. I don't want to use this first one. Let me tap the second one and see. Okay? So let me copy this. I'll copy this one, and then you can see here. Open once you tap on any sites here, let me come back to this place here. Once you search Temp Mil, you'll see different temporary email providers, okay? The reason why we're creating an account using a temporary email is so that if we exhaust the credit to a free quarter on one accounts, we can easily just create another account using a temporary email. Now, while creating different accounts, you actually get banned, okay? Like, you won't be able to open a new account. 11 labs is going to be tracking your IP address and they will tell you you cannot open another account using that IP address, okay? So this solution to that is a VPN. So you need to have a VPN. So the VPN I recommend and I use is WinSCribe. It's completely free, and this is a WinScribe. All you need to do is just go to your Chrome browser and your browser, just search Wincrbe browser extension, browser extension, and you will get the site, okay? You can see it. You can see it here. You'll be able to add it to your it's also two. You see here. Once you tap on it, you'll be able to add it to your browser. Add to Chrome. And once you add it to Chrome, you create an account and that's all, right? So let me just turn on this win Scribe VPA now so that I can use it while creating this 11 Labs account, see? So I'll just turn this on to Atlanta. It's going to change my IPA address so they won't notice I'm creating, difference or multiple accounts from one PC. So I'll just copy this temp now, and here, I'll come back to this place here. I'm going to sign up here. I want to sign up. Okay, so don't have an account sign up at the bottom. Great. So I'll just enter the email address that I copied. And then for password, I'll just put something random Q Q QQQ, agree sign up. Let's see if they will accept their email address. All right, so they accepted it and I will just simply come back to this place, and you can see the email has arrived already. Verify your email for 11 labs. I'll just go to open it, click on it and open it then click on Verify email. So once I click that, it's going to verify it and I just need to sign in. So I'll click on the signing button. Then I'll sign in to the account using the email and password I used earlier, so if you forget your password, you can easily just use this for good password. Good. So you can see, I've successfully created an 11 labs account using I just put anything here. I put anything here. I can keep. I can skip it. I just next to it. It does not matter. No now. Great. So you can see that I have successfully created an 11 Labs account and you can see the different things that you can actually do here instance voice cloning. But we won't be using any of this now. We won't be using any of this now. So what's want to do right now is to use the vocal Iolito. Okay, the vocal Alitt. You can see it's a voice Iolttle, scroll down on the left spin, you click it, and then right here, you need to upload your audio. So you can upload your audio. You can just record it right here, your PC. You can record it here. So I'll just upload the audio that I created. All right, so I just noticed right now that I can't actually upload an AAC file because the sound record the voice recorder I use on my phone actually recorded it as an AC file, not an MP three file. So what I'm going to do right now is just to go here and just search AAC to MP three. Two P three, converter online. So let's just see what I can use here right now. Okay, choose files. Okay, you can see here. You can see AAC file. So I'll select is open and great. OsposNP three converts now. And let us convert. You can see the name of the sites, freecvert.com. I'm going to add this site to the PDF file so that in case you need it, you can easily just use it. So download so you can see it has downloaded already. So now I can go back to my 11 labs account, tap on Upload audio and you can see it now it's showing us mp three file, right? So I'll just upload the audio and click Isold Voice. All right, so this is just going to use 809 84. Okay. They just flag this account. All right, so this is a new account and I have uploaded the audio again. So I'm going to click this IOLs voice and see. All right. TV subscribers. So you can see how it's isolated the voice. I already did Vocal isolated. So let me tell you something. I have created more than 411 Labs account and they all kept getting flagged, right. So see I turned on the VPN. I have to go read the terms and conditions. I've already closed it, I closed it. Let me see if I find it. Okay. Yeah, so see, even if you are using the VPN, right? So because it doesn't necessarily mean that you have multiple accounts. It could also mean that you're using a VPN or you're using a shared IP with someone else who has an account already with 11 Lab. So I had to turn up the VPN and see if they won't flag my new account again because they kept flagging all the accounts and created. And thankfully they did not flag this one, okay? So this is what you're going to do. Just use your normal browser. Go to TEP Mu, right? You go to Temp Mu, get a temporary email address, copy it and use it to create your 11 labs accounts with thousand VPN. Once you've done into the browser, you might be able to open two or three ones on that same browser without getting flag. Or if you eventually gets flagged, then you just change your browser. Now I'm using Chrome. You can see that I'm using Chrome now instead of my Microsoft's edge. You change your browser and do the same thing all over again to create a new account. Make sure you always clear your cookies. Make sure you clear your cookies before creating a new account, and then you use the vocal isletor, right? So that it is very, very simple. You can see the difference. Let me play the one, the original and the isolated one. Big news for all YouTube TV subscribers, starting January 13, 2025, the monthly subscription cost is going up from $72.99 to $82.99. That's right. A $10 hike. YouTube TV says the increase is due to rising content costs and investments in service quality. YouTube TV says the increase is due. Let me play this one. Big news for all YouTube TV subscribers. Starting January 13, 2025, the monthly subscription cost is going up from $72.99 to 82.9. There's not much of a difference because I'm currently recording in the silence bias, but if you're actually listening with headphones and you listen very closely, any sound that you hear any, tiny sound, probably the sound of the clock ticking, you won't hear it because ready isolated. Alright, so that's the difference. So what I'm going to do here is just to download this right now. And also, I'm sure you notice that I kind of repeated something in the vocals here, right? So when don't bother about that, okay? When you're recording your voice over, if you make any mistake, don't bother. Just continue recording. You don't need to start all over again. Just take a pause and continue again repeat the parts that you made a mistake. All right. So when you're editing the cap codes, we definitely cut out that part, right? So let me just download this now. Okay, you can see YouTube TV isolated. It has been downloaded already, and then we can impose this into Cap codes and start creating our video using it. So that's it for this lesson. In the next lesson Wision you have, you can create a voiceover for your videos using AI. This is very important for you, especially if you are running a faceless YouTube channel and you don't want to use your voice. Okay? So W version you have, you can use AI to create voiceovers for your videos. See you in the next lesson. 5. Creating Voiceover Using ElevenLabs (lesson 4)): Back. So with outs for the outdo, we are going to be creating a voiceover for our video using AI, and we are still going to be using elevenlabst IU. So this same 11 labs dot IU, we're just going to be coming here, we're going to be scrolling down here so you see text to speech. You can see here text to speech in elevelabst IU. All right? So you simply click this it's going to bring you to this page here, to bring you to this page. Now, what you are going to paste here is the scripts that you generated from Chat GPT or co pilot or Gemini. Okay? So I already copied mine for my Google Docs, and I'm just going to paste it here. You can see I'm just going to paste it here. And after pasting it, you can see now, you can watch your credits here. I have 9,000 credit and the credits that this is going to use just 500 last minute too so it's still enough, right? So what I want to do next is to select the voice that I want my voice over to have. So here we have different voices here. As you can see, we have different voices, we have different voices, bile uh female voice, male voices. You can taste of them. As we are liberated from our own fear, Oh, okay, you have this. The thing always happens that you really believe in and the belief? I think I like this one, or I like this one, so I'm going to use this one, right? So I'm going to select this one. So just tap on it. And here for the model here, you can see different models here. Alright, so yeah, I'm going to leave it in 11 multilingual V two, right? Even though, yeah, you can say this one is recommended for Brian, but I'll still leave it here. Okay, it's okay, I don't need to change it. And yet, for the stability and similarity, I can still increase this just a little bit to so 55%, right? And here, this style exaggeration, I can leave it as 0% and ten. So I'll just click Generate Speech and see what it gives me. If I don't like it, I will regenerate it. Big news for all YouTube TV subscribers, starting January 13, 2025. The monthly subscription cost is going up from $72.99 to $82.99. That's right. A $10 hike. YouTube TV says the increase is due to rising content costs and investments in service quality. So what does this mean for you? Existing subscribers will pay the current rate until January 13. Are you considering sticking with YouTube TV or looking for alternatives? Let me know in the comments. Don't forget to like, share and subscribe for more updates. Beautiful. You can see this is perfect. I don't even need to regenerate the speech again. Okay? But if you're not okay with what 11 labs actually gives you, you can see the option to regenerate speech. You get two free regenerations that will not be charged from your quota not be charged from your Credits quota. And, if you've used these regenerations, you can simply just generate another speech, right? So let me just go ahead and click this Download button to download it. That is for these 11 labs, right? It's not difficult at all. This is how you generates a voice over from the scripts that you get from ChardsGPT. In the next lesson, I'm going to be showing you where and how to get stock footage, stock videos, and stock photos for your short video content. Stick around and I'll see you in the next lesson. 6. Getting Stock Videos (lesson 5) : Now that we have a voice over a script, the next thing we need to do is to get stock videos and stock images to use in our shorts video. In this lesson, I'm going to be showing you three different free sites that I get my stock videos and stock images from. The first site is none other than youtube.com. You see, most people might not actually realize the full potential of YouTube. They are vast. I mean, there are lots millions of videos on YouTube, millions of stock footages of images right here on this site and you can get them for free. Copyright free. All right, so let's assume you want a video of someone exclaiming or a surprise face video.'s just search surprised, surprised face. So price face, let's see Mm. You can see this. You can see different videos that you can easily just get and download. If you're using the shots video, you can see this one, you can see this, you can see this one, you can see this. All right, so when you are searching for stock videos to use in your shorts video, you should change this to shots. Because your shots video typically should be in the 916 ratio aspects ratio and that's basically YouTube shots, you want stock footage that would fill the screen, the entire screen. Hope you understand what I mean. Like this one now, this surprise me if you use it in your shorts video to feel the whole screen, the whole phone screen. If you change it to shorts, you will see stock videos like this one. It's the same thing when you search for other things like how moving upward. Let's say you want an upward moving arrow to use in your video, you will see different different waits for network. Okay? Yeah, you will see different videos. You can see this is just 10 seconds. You see different arrows that you can use. You can see. So basically, YouTube is a great site. It's my number one. It's my top pick for videos, for stock footage, even for sound effects, but we'll get there later in this course. Okay? So now, how do you download videos from YouTube? How do you do that? Now, I want to download this arrow, this arrow that is moving forward, this arrow moving upward, okay? So let's say I want to download this arrow. I will simply click these three dots here. And then I'll click Share to get the link. Once I have this link, the next thing to do is to go to pobla dot IO. All right, so pla dot IO. I see it here, pobla dot IO four slash 24 slash YouTube video downloader. All right, so I'm going to include this link in the PDF file that I'm going to be providing at the end of this course. Make sure to download it. So once we just go to this site here, you see, all you need to do here is just to pass your URL and click Download. Then you complete this, just click this. I am not a robot. Capture. Great. Now the next is also click Sif to your device and its downloads as simple as that, it's easy. Now, peradventure, this site does not work, even though it's very likely. The site is working out. But in the nearest future, if the site is not working, how do you still download videos from YouTube? It's simple. You just search YouTube YouTube video downloader. Okay, so once you search this on Google or binge, you'll see different sites that you can try and use for downloading videos from YouTube. I try as much as possible to avoid the sponsored results because these ones are just apps that are not free. So just look for something that works online. You will surely find one and use it. But for now, PobliO works fine. It works very fine. Okay? So that's how you download your videos from YouTube. Any video you see a shots even shots, still the same thing, the same process. Just click Hits first of all. Click the video first of all, then you will see you see the Share button. So once you click the Share button, you simply copy the link, and then you go to pobla dot IU and you download it. All right, so that's for YouTube. The next free sites that I get by stock footage from is pagos.com, pagos.com. Look at it. I pegs.com, you can not only get videos, you can also get free stock photos, as you can see here. All you need to do is just click on this job down and select the one you want to get. For now, I just need a video. If I need let's say, a video of a man man walking, with a top with a laptop, you see different videos that I can use. So for the purpose of your shorts video, what you want to do is to click on these filters and you change the orientation to Vertical so that it only gives you the results that are 916 aspect which you can see everything looks like YouTube shots. This is the size of YouTube shot. So you can pick your stock footage, your stock video for me. Just pick anyone you like and download for free. It's as simple as that. If you want photos, you simply change to photos here, and you will see different photos that you can use, right? Everything is completely free, and I love pegzos.com, so much, okay? And that's why I'm recommending it to you in this course. Now, the third size that I get my stock footage from is Pixa B, okay? So pixab.com. Pixab.com. Piga B is not just for videos. You see that you can get photos, illustrations, vectors, videos, music, sound effects, and GIFs. So it's a lot. You can get a lot from this particular site. So let me go ahead and search the same thing I search on pigs.com, man walking with his laptop, man working with a laptop rather anyway do. So you just need to scroll down. All these ones are sponsored. All these songs are small. So I did not change it to videos, so I can click here and then just selects Videos. By select Videos, I'm going to see the videos as. Oh, this ones are sponsored, don't click on all those ones. This ones are from ITOk and ISTOk is not free, right you can see the videos. See the video, see different videos that you can use for your video. So we are creating a shows video here, and we need more of vertical stock footage. So all we need to do is to come to orientations here, click on orientations, and then click Vertical. And it's going to suggest only it's going to show us only vertical video results. Okay? So PixaB is not as accurate as Pex Zoos, okay? They are not much results. I see that I search for a video of someone using the laptop, and then it show me all these differences. Show me different unrelated, unrelated results. Even though this one is quite related W's female anyways can still work. Well, if you go to pegosPexos has better results, okay? So just choose the one that you want to use. If you don't find your video, if you don't find what you want on Pix Aby you can go to Paxos and you get it. And if you don't find on Paxos, you can simply go to YouTube. All right. And lastly, do not underestimate the power of your search engine. Using just Google Google. If you need a video a particular thing that you cannot find on any of these sites, which is not really typical. Okay, you can simply just come here and just search search man using a laptop. Okay. So once you search this, you will see different images that you can download and use for your video. If you also come to this video tab, this video tab, you would actually get most of it just tutorios but you get the point. If I add stock video here, stock video, I see. Four kids stock video, someone typing on the laptop. Look at this, look at this, look at this, different results. So just add stock video to it. If you add stock video to give it obviously results that are related to what you search. So if I click this now, I'm not sure if this is on YouTube. I'm not sure if this is on YouTube. Okay, it is on YouTube. You know, it's the same process to download it. You simply click on this tap Share, and then you copy the link with Control C, o, and you download it. And if you find a video that is embedded on different sites, maybe not YouTube, I'm looking for. So everything here is just YouTube YouTube YouTube YouTube, YouTube. But you see, this one is from Pexels. Basically, this search engine is searching different sites, not just searching on one site, searching different sites for you for what you want. And you can do this if you wants a broader search. You just don't want to just search one site and then go and search another site. If you just want to search everything at the same time, you can just search Google and you will find what you want. So now that I've shown you these three sites, I want to go ahead and download the videos, the video clips that I'm going to use for this particular video that I'm editing. So this is what I'm going to do. Basically, I can go ahead to my script now, copy this again, then go back to Microsoft's co Piload and here, here, okay. I'll still in this chart. As for each sentence or sin above, I want you to suggest video clips for me. To use. Once I send this to Microsoft's co piload, it's going to suggest video clips for me to use at each step. Let's just wait for it to load and you can see. You can see this for this big news for all YouTube TV subscribers, it suggested this breaking news graphic or something like this. You see this Cada flipping to this and dollar signs. This is amazing. In case you are not able to come up with video ideas or video clip ideas or you just don't know what to search. The writes video clips to Dwload then use AI. Just take your clip. I mean, take your scripts back to co pilot and then see what see prompt I use. For each sentence or scene above, I want you to suggest video clips for me to use and see everything you see everything. What I'm going to do now is just to try and get most of these clips. I'm going to try and get them and then once I'm done with that, the next thing we're going to be doing is to install cap codes and input all our resources into it so that we can start our Editing. See you in the next lesson. 7. Installing Capcut (lesson 6): That we have everything that we need to start editing our shows video or do we actually have everything yet? We do have Cap code, and Capcde is basically the software that we will be using to create the shows for you. So in this listen I'm going to show you how you can download Capcde, how you can install Capcde on your PC and import your resources also. So if you're using a PC, all you need to do is to come to your Microsoft's app store. This is the icon here, or you can simply just search app store. Once you search App Store, you see this Microsoft store, and if I open it, this is the interface. All I need to do is to search cap codes. Waiting for you to load. Great. So if I just search cap codes here and go, you can see the app here here if I tap on it, it's going to open and installed already. I already have it on my PC. So this is basically all you need to do is if you've not installed, this is not going to show installed like this, you're going to see an install button. All you need to do is just click Install and finish it up. It's as simple as that. I don't want to install my cap codes because I still have some projects there. I have some projects I'm not done editing yet. And yeah, it's very it's a straightforward process. Now, if you're using the MAC, all you need to do is just to come to your search engine and search code cap codes, download for Mac Capcds download for Mac. So yeah, if you're using the WindowsPC, you can equally just click this install. It's going to open app store, this one is going to open it. But for your MacBook, this second site here, just click it. So once you click it, it's going to open this site for you and you see download for free. Just click this button, and your download will start in a bit. So you can see the setup file has been downloaded already. You can see the steps when you stall Capcde. It's very, very easy. Just double click the setup file and need to open. Then you click Install and just wait for the installation to be finished. It's as simple as that, right? So let's go to Capcde and import our resources. So let me just open my Capcde up. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Cap Code. The final way. All right, so this is Cap code. If you have an account, you can sign in. I have a Pro account, but I don't want to sign in now, okay? So what we're going to be doing here is to just click this Create Project. This big multicolored button here, click it and it's going to open the interface for s. So this is my interface. Yours may not look like this. I set Min up because this is where I prefer my player to be. So if you want to set up os like this and actually recommend this because the player is big enough for your shorts video, see, it's a nice sustain ratio, like a phone screen, and it's going to show you what you're editing very well. You can simply just click this menu button here and you click Layout. So once you click Layout, if you click Default, you can see this is how the default player is and this is how it look like when you first install your cap code. If you want to set up your mine, all you need to do is just to come back to this menu, click layout and click Vertical. So once you click Vertical, it's going to bring your player here and it will be better. It's much better for shorts video editing, okay? So the next thing we need to do is to import our resources. So if you want to import your stock videos, your stock images, your audio, so cap codes, you just need to click this Import button. Make sure you are here, okay. So make sure you're in this import tab, this import section, then you click Import. So just navigate to where your resources are. Let me download the first one, which is the audio. I need to look for the audio. This is a 11 labs, and I'll click Open. You can see that it has been imported already. Now, I want to import just the video, any video, I will simply click this Imports button here. This impute button here. Let me look this one up and just click Open. Goat. So you can see how it's displayed. This is a shots that I edited some time ago. So if I click this plus button here, this plus icon is going to bring is going to add the video to the timeline here. At the same time, I can also just drag it. Once I drag it, I can put it here, I can place it here. And for the audio too, I can also do the same thing. I can drag it and put it here, too. So you can see what's the string here. This medium may cause playback lag. I need to truss code my media for smoother playback. So just click this Crass code. What this has code does is it reduce the resolution of this video here so that I can play more smoothly. But it affects the resolution at which your video will be exported. So let me just mute this ad and play this video so that you can watch it. Looking for tasty snacks that help with weight loss. Here are the top five healthy, low calorie snacks for 2024. One, Greek yogurt with berries. This combo is a powerhouse of protein and antioxidants, making it both nutritious and Now, you can see how the player is filled up here. Let me change layouts to the default one so that you can see the difference. So you can see how small it is. So if you are editing a normal YouTube video, which is 16 19, a horizontal layout, this one might be okay for you, but even for the horizontal layers, I still make sure my player is by the side. It's just better for me. But for short videos, don't use this one at all. Just change your layout. Just change your layout to the vertical layout. It's better this way. This is how you input your stock footage, or images. Anything you can input any file to cap code and edit it. In the next video, we are going to start working on the shots, which is the YouTube TV show. I'm going to be editing it right here and recording the process so that you can replicate it. So make sure you install the cap codes desktop app right now if you haven't and then imports all the media that you downloaded from either Paxos Pixab or YouTube. Import Evidsonimput the audio you got from 11 labs or the one that you recorded yourself with your phone. Make sure you have all your resources ready and I will see you in the next lesson. 8. Capcut Walkthrough (lesson 7): As you can see here, I have loaded up all my resources to my timeline. In fact, I've already started creating the video, I'm going to play what I've created so far for you so you can see it. Big news for all YouTube TV subscribers. All right. Well, the cost of streaming TV is going up. YouTube TV is raising the price for its monthly subscription. This really bums me out. And it's raising the question is streaming the new cable? Starting January 13, 2025, the monthly subscription cost is going up from $72.99 to $82.99. That's right. A $10 hike. YouTube TV says the increase is due to rising content costs and investments in service quality. Existing subscribers will pay the current rate until January 13. So what does this mean for you? I think consumers are going to be too happy about this increase in price. Are you considering sticking with YouTube TV or looking for alternatives? Let me know in the comments. Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe for more updates. So, you can see what I've created so far. It's not complete yet. As you guys said, there are still some spaces that need to be filled up with B rules, okay? And, yeah, the video needs to be completed, basically. So let me just show you what I've done to get here. So I had to do this one so that I won't be wasting much of your time, you know, just brainstorming, dragging and dropping, deleting sense. I'm just going to show you how I've gotten. But before I do that, let me just show you around cap codes in case this is your first time using Capcde. So if you look around here, we have different buttons around, different icons around. You can see I just updated my cap code again. There's a new update and it's no longer inputs. It's now media. So once you tap on media, you see this option for inputs, see if you tap on it, you see media subpject you'll see the parts I don't use. You see this presets pad. So if you create any presets, you'll be able to find it a brand asset. So you need to sign in. You need to sign in to use this feature, okay So if you have a brand asset, let me say, like, a logo or something that you use frequently. So for these spaces, is basically a way that you can back up your media, any video that you've edited and you need to use and on another device, you can back it up to this space, and this is really available for pro users, I guess. I think free users can use it, but we just limited amount of space. I've never used it before. I've never had any reason to use it. It's basically like your cloud storage for your videos. And then we have library so for this library, we have different assets that you can use like stock videos, transitions into and end background. You can see you can see green screen, green screen stuff that you can use. Just call me and scroll down. Okay, you can see scenery. You can see atmosphere. It's just different stuff that you can get from here Christmas because it's Christmas period, then you can see different stuff that you can also use in your videos, in case you're creating a view that you need a Christmas, let me see, stock footage or intro or atro for, right? So that's for this spaniel up here, you can still see this audio parts here. So in this import section, you can easily import a video and then extract the audio from the video using cap Code. Okay? So if you have a video that you just want to use a particular audio from this form, you can just import it here and you'll be able to extract it. And for this part here, this is your favorite music. You need to sign in order to use this. I've never used it before. I don't think I'll using that. And for this part, this is basically the music that cap Code provides itself. So you can easily just search here song for any song that you need. Um, and you can find free music for you to use, free music that you can use for your videos. There are lots. There's a lot here. You just search, let me see upbeat. If I just search upbeat, let me see what's going to bring out. So you can see funky pop. You can see just different. If you just tap on this download, once you tap on Download, it downloads the music, and you can easily just drag it and drop it on the timeline. Okay? So let's see what the sounds like, first of all, So this one is good for an advertisement, though, probably a children's video or something, you understand. So that's it for this Spaniel, for this music section. So for the sound effects, you can basically get sound effect. You know, that's Sx that you can use in your video. You can see this general explosion sound of typewriter, different. If you want a specific sound effects like Wooh Wooh sound effect, you can see it once you just type it here, you'll be able to you can see deep push. So I use this one very frequently. You can see this copyright, so yeah, this one is useful particularly if you are going to be posting your shorts video on TikTok. Okay? So it's going to check if your shorts video has any copyrighted sound. You know, if you post a video with copyrighted sound on TikTok, it's going to get muted, okay? So this one helps. I don't think this one works particularly for YouTube, okay? So I think YouTube's copyright, YouTube and TikTok's copyright detection system are quite different. So if you want to be sure if a video will work on YouTube, basically, you need to upload it. You need to upload it to you save it as private. And then, you know, when you're uploading this, it's going to check for copyright. It's going to let you know. That's basically it for this audio panel. If you come to this text panel, here, you can add your own text. You can see this. If you just hover over this and drag it to your timeline, you'll be able to edit it, as you can see. You to edit the text here. You to edit the text here, and this section, I'm not going to be talking about everything because this is basically not a full cap course tutorial, okay? So I'm just going to walk you through the necessary ones, the ones that I know you're going to be needing in this show's video creation, okay? So for this section here, this is where you edit your text. It's where you edit your text. You can see that it's editing on the screen. And if you want to move the text around, you can just come to the screen here and hoot. You see, tap on it and hold it and just move it around. You can increase the size like this. You can rotates like this, too, as you can see here. And then for the fonts, you can change the fonts here, if you just tap on that system, you see different fonts, different fonts, different phones that you can use here. You can also add your custom font, and I'm going to be showing you how you can do that later in this course. Okay, there is a specific lesson dedicated to that. So let me just choose this debold font. I use it frequently. Here you can increase the font size, too. You can increase the phone size. So it's basically the same thing as just dragging this, okay? If you come here, so you see this you see this pattern, bold underline Italy size, case, upper kass, lower kiss, and title case, you can change the color, yes. So most of it is self expanutry. This is where you do your basic text edit. You can choose a presets here. Cap on it. It is going to just automatically apply some effects to the text, right? When you come down, you see other options that you can explore by yourself during your free time or during practice, right? So if it comes to this bubble section here, you also see different presets that I don't particularly use. You got to see what the bobo means. Like for comics, you go to see these bubs here. If it comes to this effect section, yeah, you'll see other presets, all text presets that you can use. You see beautiful text presets that you can use for your captions. You can just speak anyone. And yeah, we'll talk more about this during the captioning, because there's a specific video also dedicated for captions for editing your captions. So if you come to this side, this animation part this is basically where you can animate your text, right? So in this animation, we have the in animation. This is basically the animation that happens when the text is starting when the text is coming in, this is the out. This is when the text is going out or at the ending of the text block, right? And then there's a loop. This one basically happens throughout the text. So let me just make this text a little bit longer. Let me make this takes a little bit longer. So let me come back to this animation and just add an in animation. You can see this typewriter in animation, you can see this out one. You see when it's going out. And for loop, this one basically happens throughout basically happens throughout. Right, I see. So that's it for this one. So this tracking parts. So this one does not particularly track. This one is used for let me see, you have a head moving or your hand moving, someone talking that he wants the text to follow depressor's hand. So you now use this tracker, you put it on depressor's hand. It does not particularly work. If you try it, you see that it takes moving, follow it. So I don't even advise using this tracking at all. You can use you can achieve the same or even better. Using keyframes, right? So for text to speech, basically, it self explanatory, let me just go to this next book, this next section here, which is the sticker section. These stickers, you can find different stickers that you can use in your video. Most of them are not really good, so I don't particularly use the stickers. You can get better stickers on Google. Basically, you just search what you want on Google, download it as a JPEG file and add it, input it to your video and use it. You can see what the sticker is for. It's just like JPEGs, you see, add it to your video and use it there are different stickers here that you can use with school. You see Imuges and blah, blah, blah, blah. Here, you can see this effect section. Here we have video effects that you can add. S video effect. Let me add this one here. If I add this video effect, this shake effects to this video, see what happens. Existing subscribers will pay the current rate. So you can see what just happened. I can remove it to Cont Z. And yeah, there are different effects that you can add to your video to just, you know, add more life to make it more engaging. Make sure to just explore this in your free time. There's not really much to talk about here. It's self explanatory, too. And here you can see body effect. These body effects are specifically for body, for the human body, not just for the whole video, you can see this one here. This one you apply a body effect, it's going to be applied specifically to the body in the video. So really cool effects like here, it's a body effect. It's the streamer stroke. So if you just search streamer, you will see it here. Let me drag it and drop it here. Let me drag it and drop it here. Let's see if it's going to affect both of them. In investments in service quality, existing subscribers will pay the current rate until January 13. So what does this mean for? Think consumers are going to be too. So you can see what's happening. It's lagging badly because of so cap codes or video editing in general requires a PC, it's very strong specifications. At as an eight gigramPC minus eight gigram and it has a two gig graphics card. So it's still enough. Okay, it's good enough to run video editing. But at the same time, when you start adding a lot of things, your video begins to lag, and it's quite normal. It's quite normal unless you're using a PC of BC, sig T two giggram and, you know, very, very high specifications. I know those kind of laptops are very, very expensive. So basically, what you need to do here is just to come here and come to menu, you come to settings, and here you click Com performance. So once you click Comperformance, you tap turn on proks, you turn on these pros, okay? So once you take this, you can see what's shown here. Turn it to edit smoothly and faster without losing video quality. So what this one does is just reduce the quality of the playback here of the player, the video play in the player so that you can edit faster without lagging. Okay? So let me move the body effect now. I've already shown you what it does. And yeah, that's it for this effect spin for this effect left spine, you can see different effects here, this selfy funny face. So just play around with it, okay? Play around with it. Checkout effects that you can use in your video. Okay? So let's go to the transition section. And in this transition section, yeah, you can see different transitions that you can use for your video. Basically, what transitions do is to ensure that once you have two different video clips, it to ensure that one clip smoothly transitions into another. As you can see, yeah So what does this mean for you? I don't think consumers. So if I drag this one now, if I drag this transition, if I drag it and put it here in between these two different clips and I drop it. See now, if I play it, you will see this. So what does this mean for you? I don't think consumers are going to be too happy about this increase in price. It's lagging badly, okay, it's still lagging badly. I have to wait for all the files to be turned to Proxy. You can see what just happened here. Let me move it and add this black smoke transition, okay? So let me drag this one and add it here so that you can see it. So what does this mean for you? I don't think consumers are going to be too happy. So there are different transitions, and I'm going to be using some of them during this video. I'm going to be using some of them for this video that I'm editing. So that's basically what this transition does. You can call me and check mode. Different good transitions that you can use in your video. You can see light effects. So in your free time, just play around, okay? Just explore this transition speed, okay? I can't be showing you each and every one of them now because of time. So let's move on to the captions part here. So if I tap on caption, you see that we have the option to add auto caption. We have templates here, we have caption templates here. You can see. You can choose any template, and your caption will become like that. All right. So this one saves time, especially if you're editing plenty videos, different shots videos, you know, for a client or for your own social media. See these auto lyrics. This one is helpful if you're creating a music video and you want it to generate automatically generates lyrics for your music video. You can see these add captions too. If you have your captions file, you can easily just add this here boats we barely use this. I don't use the Sato. There's no need for that because we already have auto captions and we can easily generate our captions right here on cap codes. Let's move on to the filters parts. This filter section is self explanatory. If you've ever used Snapchats, then you know what filters are. Not just Snapchats, even in Instagram, so there are different filters that you can add to your video. Let me add this one here. And you'll see what happens. In investments in service quality, existing subscribers will pay the. You can see that changed the color. If I show you the other part of the video, you can see that the color is different. But here we the few ties. You can see that the colo changes. This one is useful if you want to add a specific effects to your video or even an image that is in your video timeline here. So you can explore this too in your free time, and here we have the adjustment. So this one is basically for color grading, you can add an adjustment layer. If you jag an adjustment layer here, you can see if I tap on this, you see different things that I can do. You can do auto adjust color match, color correction, different, you can see, you can adjust the temperature tin saturation, highlight shadows, white you can do different. This is basically for color grading and video editing, and we will get to this later on in the lesson in this course rather. So this is here, most of the things done here are really for advanced video editing. You might not need to use any of this in your shows video editing at all. So that is for this spin. I think I've explained. I've talked about everything here. Um, yeah, so let's move on to this shorts code section, right? So when you're editing on CAP codes, there are different features that you can use, and you are short codes for them. If you come here now, you can see that we have this Sedex we have different modes here that you can choose. You can choose the Sedex splits, select left word, select right word. It's okay to just leave it in sleet. The rest are not necessary at all. You can see here, we have Odo which is Control C. And here we have redo which is Control Shift Z. Here we have split. Here we have delete left, and we have delete right. So this split is really useful, okay? It's probably the most useful feature here. Apart from this on do. So let's say I want to call this video clip here into two. I can simply just tap on it and then put this, playhead. I put it this way I want to cut it and then tap on split. So once I tap on split, you can see that I split it into two parts. Right where I put the playhead. Also, if you have this preview axis turned on, if I tap on this preview axis now, you see that there was something a yellow line. Let me show you again. See this yellow line that you can use to preview the video. You can use it to preview the video. Just drag it around and you can see different parts of the video. Also, if I put this preview axis here on this clip, and I tap on split, the shows calls for split. You see that? Let me tap on it. Sorry. Let me tap on it and just hover it over there and just tap on split. You see that it splits the video here, you can also use it instead of this playhead. You can use it instead of displaya as long as it's turned on. Now that we know how to use this split, let's go to this section here. So this icon here is for voiceover, right? So if you want to add the voiceover to the video you're creating, you can easily just tap on it and you can start recording. This one here, this tunnel main track magnets, basically, let me show you now. Once you open your cap codes for the foster, you see only one track, and that is your main track. You can easily identify it by, you know, it's the only one that has this cover in front of it here. That is your main track. And once you turn this on, everything in your main track will begin to touch each other. So if you drag any video to your main track, even if you put it here, it's going to drag it, you know, it's going to be like a magnet, so everything is going to be joined to each other. This is particularly useful if you are, like, cutting out, if you want to cut out a section and you don't want to stretch yourself, you know, just dragging and of. Let me see if I want to just cut out. Let me see I want to cut out just 3 seconds out of this video clip, and I just, you know, split this part. Split this part, and then I tap on the middle part and I just delete it. You can see that it's immediately just drag the other one so starts where the former clip stopped. Let me show you. Let me show you what just happened there. Let me just do contro zing. Then once I delete this clip in the middle, you can see that immediately brings this one to join this one. If this thing is turned off. If I did this, this one now, like I said, I does no good here, I have to manually drag it and put it set it here. So that's when this one is useful. But in this situation, I actually don't need it to be turned on because as you can see here as you can see, I have some spaces here that I need to fill up its bills and I don't want it to close up. So I'm not going to turn it on. Now, for this autosnaping, make sure it's turned on, okay? It's very, very useful so that you can easily just, um drag a video clip and it will snap to the one that is before it. So you can see, when I drag this video close to this other one, this other clip here, I can easily just move it around. There's no specific point for me to put it in. But if I want this video to start exactly where this last clip ended, it hard. It might be difficult for me to do that if I don't have this auto snapping turned on. So if I have this auto snapping feature turned on, if I drag this one here, if I drag it close to this video, you see this blue line this blue or green line that just comes out there. It's basically means that this video is already touching the end, the start of this video clip that I'm holding is ready at the ending of the last video clip and I can just release it and set today. That's it for this feature, you're going to be kneading it too. For this linkage, you can turn it off. It's not really advisable to have it turned on. Let's say if you have captions on your video, they have captions on this video now. It's going to link its caption. Let me say effect, it's going to link it to the specific video. Is this an effect? This is a text. If you turn on this linkage, this linkage here, it's going to be linked. You can see this red line now. That's basically linked this effect to this video. Now, if I delete this video, you see that it's going to delete with the effect, and I don't want that. Let's say I just want to delete only the video now and preserve this text here. I need to turn off this linkage so that it won't be linked. Now, if I delete this video here. Sorry. Yeah, I've turned it off. Okay, so if I tap on this now if I select the video and I delete this, you can see that the text remains. So that's basically the function of this linkage here. Now, this preview axis I've talked about this before. It's basically that this yellow line that you can see following my curso. And then we have the Zoom to fit timeline. We have this one here, we can zoom this timeline out, order for us to make precise editing. Okay. So there are different shots because as I mentioned earlier, if you come to this shorts code section, you see the shorts called bots here, if you tap on it, you see the different available shorts codes here. By default, it won't be like the same resets. You see that here, split is Control B. But for me, I prefer my spits to be S. Since I use it a lot, I prefer it to just be one key. I can just tap immediately. So if I tap on this now, it's a click to modify Shorts code, and I tap, the S bots, you can see tape on the override and it's going to change it to. Now, whenever I type or I tap the S button on my keyboard, it's going to automatically split the video. Yeah, you can check all the shorts code. Check check all this and check the shorts cds for them so that you can easily use them. When it comes to this basic section now, we have other very common features like copy you can see it contr CC Um, you see delete here, delete here is backspace. So if you want to delete a video clip or something from your video from your timeline, you just need to tap backspace and it's going to delete it dos confusing, we do. Get accustomed to the shorts code here and yeah, that says for the short code. Here, I can just tap on CV since I already changed the split to Yeah, and I just tap on space and we're good to go. So this lock icon here is for locking the track. So if I tap on this, it's going to lock this track in such a way that I will not be able to make any edit or move anything here again. It's particularly useful if you don't want to mistakenly move something. If you are sure that you're not going to be making any edits into this track again, you want to be sure that you won't mistakenly move something then just log the track. For this bots, this eye bots and this is for hiding track. So if you tap on this, it's basically going to hide the track in such a way that it will no longer be relevant on this timeline again, okay? So it's one show. It's going to show what is on this racon show in the video ad, and you can hide it and here, for mutant is going to muse the audio. It's going to mute the audio. So you will hear any sound that isn't just clipping, you're not going to hear it. Here, we have track set since we can tap on this and you can see track heights, track audio wave form sides. You can just leave this. You're not going to be using this at all. Look, if you look at the size here, you're going to see different icons. You can see this track is a video tracks you see It's meant for video. This one is also meant for video. This one is meant for adjustment, as you can see the icon here, and this one is meant for text. So if you drag it text, if you have a text, you can easily just drag this and drag it to the text layer or track order, even if you just drag it and just put it anywhere, it's going to automatically drag it and put it in a text layer. You can see that it's created a text track, a new text track for this. So let just control Z and remove it. And I guess I've talked about everything here. If you tap on any video clip here, you will see additional options here for you. You go to see the basic options. You can see the skill. I increase the skill, its basically increasing I'm sorry. Sorry. Let me put display head here. Let me put it here. Let me put it here. So if I tap on this one and I increase the skill, this basically increases the video. I see the video is increasing now, it's increasing. You can also do the same thing. You can achieve the same thing by dragging this here. If you drag this, it's going to increase the skill, as you can see here. And we have position. The position is still the same thing as this X and Y, moving the way you move it around. I see that the position has changed, too, and the rotate it's still the same thing. I think I've talked about a lot of stuff here. Just come down here and you will see different things. I don't want to go so much in depth into this cap code usage because of time. This video is basically just for creation of shots. I'm going to create a separate course for I'm going to create a separate course that will teach you the basics to advance knowledge and techniques. Let me say usage of CAP code. You can always check my profile later on, depending on where you're watching this course or if you're watching it to Udem you can check my UdeM profile. If you're watching it on skill share, you can check if you're watching it on my telegram bots, you can also follow me, you know, you will get a notification when the course is ready, right? So basically, you can check out everything. There are different amazing features that you can use here. You have the removed BG this one is useful. If not to remove the background out of, you know, an image or video, right? So we have auto removal here. We have auto removal. We have custom removal, we have ro Markey. So this Markey is useful. Let me not just say it's used with mint for green screens. So green screens are videos that have green background. So the green background is specifically for this co marque, so that you can easily just remove it. I'm going to show you how to use it later on in this course. So that's it for this remove background section. Here we have the mask section, and we have the retod section. Here, we can come to audio here. In this audio, we can use the voice changer. We can you can increase the volume here. You can fad in, fade out. You can use vocal isolation. This vocal isolation, basically, you know, if you turn this on, you have the option to keep the vocal and you have the option to remove vocal. So once you choose the option to keep vocal, it's good to remove let's say you have a music or let me say you're recording a video in a noisier environment, and it's going to ensure that it keeps on the vocal and it's going to move heavier that's in noise music. It's the same thing that we used the same thing that we did using 11 labs. But I think 11 labs based on what I've done so far, 11 labs is better is much better than just vocalizeluon, available on cap coord. So I don't really use this much most of the time. Here we have the reduced noise. If you recorded in a really noisy environment, then this is particularly useful. It doesn't really work that much. It just reduces the noise just a bit, but you still be able to it in the background. The vocalized solution is much better for the purpose of removing noise. Here, if it comes to the speed, you can increase the speed of the clip. You can make it faster and you can make it slower. If it comes to the animation parts here, you have different animations the same thing I showed you have in animation house animation, but it's quite different for video. It's not the same animation for caption, and we have adjustment. Which is the same thing as the adjustment layer that we added, okay? So, right? So we see this color grading. You see this color grading to Z. And for this AI stylize, we have different templates that you can use, um, most of them are P and you won't really be using them. So you can ignore these parts for now. So that's it for this section, I've successfully shown you an cap coot, I guess. There's nothing really left out. This player pase, if you want to view your video in full screen, if you come down here, just tap on this icon and it's going to bring it to full screen, and then you tap your key, the escape key on your keyboard in order to bring it back to the player here. This butts in years for playing the video for previewing the video in investments in service quality. And this one year is for setting the ratio. If I tap on this ratio now you can see different ratios for this system nine rather is normal YouTube video size. Okay? So if I tap of this system nine, you see that it's become like a laptop squid or TV screen. This is the recommended ratio screen size for YouTube videos. But for shots, it's going to be the opposite or should I say the inverse? And that's 916. You can see it here, and that's the way should have been using the tap on it now, you can see that it become like a phone screen, become a phone screen, and that's the ratio part. This is what this ratio path is used for. So this last icon is just for zooming in. If you want to zoom in and see a particular part of your video, you can zoom in Okay? You can zoom in, it does not affect the output of your video. But once you are done, you can easily bring you can see this sining line here. If you bring it back here, it's going to bring it back to the default zoom level. Alright, so in the next lesson, I'm going to start editing this video, o? So I've basically started editing it. So what I'm going to be showing you in the next lesson is what I've done so far. And we're going to continue and make this into a complete short video. So I'll see you in the next lesson. 9. Watch me Edit (lesson 8): Now, I'm going to be showing you everything that I've done to arrive here. All right? So the first thing I did, and the first thing you should do once you already have all your resources arranged, you've already imported all your resources, and you've probably let's say you've not arranged it yet. Okay? So as long as you have all your resources here already, you've alreadyimported everything, you can see how many resources I've already imported, to use in this video. Now, the first thing you need to do is to import the MP three, which is the audio file, the voiceover, that you go from 11 laps or the one that you recorded yourself. All right. So all you need to do is just drag it to the timeline, drag it to the timeline. So I'm just going to drag it and put it down below the main track. That's where the audio will go so so next thing I need to do now is to cut out the pauses. That's where you can see in this part, you can see that it's being cut out. You can see so many cuts coming. In this part, you can see that I've cut, see that it has been split so many times, see? That's because I cut out all the pauses. In a shots video, you need to make sure that there are no pulses. Even if there is any pulse, don't let it be more than 1 second. Why? Because it needs to be fast paced. Shots are meant to be fast paced. The attention span these days is so short. Day by day, it gets harder and harder for people to actually stay and watch long form content. And that's why platforms like Tik Tok, YouTube shots, and Instagram reels are actually thriving. So you need to make sure it's fast paced. And so what we're going to do is just listen to the audio. And then any parts that you notice any pulse, like, now, let me play this part now. Scribers. Starting January 13, 2025. You can notice these pauses. Even if you look at the waveform, this is called the waveform, which is the audio the audio waveform. You can see all these lines, all the standing, all these lines, one, one lines like this. You can see this pace that there is no line. This space where the space. This indicates that there's the Pulse, okay? There's no audio year, and that's why there's a Pulse. 2025. The monthly subscription. This indicates that there is no audio year, and that's why there's nothing here, no wave from here. So if I play 2025. You see? So what I'm simply going to do is just to let me zoom this out a little bit and then come here. Fibers. I simply put this preview access line, or I just move this playhead here and move it to the end of this and then press or Control B, whichever shorts called whichever later you choose for your split short called Just split it. Then I'm going to come to the frontier to the front of the next waveform. You can see here this frontier, just come to the front and then bring your playhead there and then split it. Make sure that you tap the video, tap the audio, then you split split. Then tap on this. And backspace to details. Then you just hold this and drag it to miss the other audio. So now, when we play it will be like this. Subscribers, starting January 13 for all YouTube TV subscribers, starting January 13, 2025. There's another post here, so I'm going to do the same thing. Just bring it to the front of the playhead. Tab the audio, bring it to the front of the waveform, rather, then bring it to the front of this other waveform, then split both of them, delete, then drag it closer, right? So let me play it now. 13th, 2025. January 13, 2025. There's a little pause there, so I can just I'll simply bring the playhead to the middle year to the middle year where the pauses so I can easily zoom out. Okay? When I zoom out, you can see that the pose is yeah, right? So I can just bring the play head, just the bits here, and then tap on it and split it, delete. Then drag it closer. See. January 13, 2025. You can see the difference. So this is basically what you're going to do to the voiceover. Just listen to it and cut out every single pulse, okay? Cut out every pulse. Make sure that it's first paced, no pulses, right? No pulses unless necessary. And when necessary, I mean maybe you when you remove a pause in between two sentences like the end of a sentence and the beginning of the sentence, then it kind of sounds like it's together, but you still want people to know that, okay, the first sentence has ended and the second sentence starts now. Then in that case, you need to add just a little pause, okay? So you can leave a pause of about 1 second, so that's enough or even lesser than 1 second, okay? So it depends you use your ears and make your judgment, right? Let me delete this because I've actually done it already. I've already done that. So now the next thing I did is to arrange, let me bring this back. Okay, let me bring this let me bring back the ya, let me bring it back. So what I did next is to arrange these video clips, I go from YouTube. All of them. Let me see I already got about two video clips from pegs. I didn't know you pixabia but most 99% or let me see, 95 or 80% of all the clips were gotten from YouTube. That's how important YouTube is. All you need to do now is to drag everything, bring them to the timeline, and you arrange them, you arrange them the way you want them to be. When you listen to the audio now and then, let me play the audio. Big news for all YouTube TV subscribers, starting January 13, 2025. What video clip do you want to accompany this particular section? I see that particular sentence? Big news for all YouTube TV. You can decide that when they say big news. Then you want to add something like a breaking news. Remember, we actually got clip ideas for Microsoft's co pilots. Now see this breaking news graphics or news anchor are now seeing a major updates, this, this. So if you follow this What's Z, then you can find all the video clips actually correspond. That's basically all we are doing in this shows video. Just find clips to match each sentence. It doesn't have to be even if it's just one sentence or even two sentences together. A particular clip that will match it, as you can see. So that's basically what I did for this clip. I went to YouTube, and I found a clip of YouTube of YouTube TV, you can see it here. This is YouTube TV. If I play it. You see? Big news for all YouTube TV subscribers. Alright. Well, the concept. And then I also found a YouTube video. Fortunately, I found a YouTube video of a reporter actually announcing the increase in price of the YouTube TV subscription. So I downloaded that from YouTube, and I just cut out the particular part, and I added it here, so you can see. Alright? Well, the cost of streaming TV is going up. YouTube TV is raising the price for its monthly subscription. This really bums me out. And it's raising the question is streaming the new cable. So, you see, I just cut out that particular part and I added it here. Now that I even think of it, I think I would what I'm going to do now is to delete these four parts because I need to the starting of my video needs to be very engaging, and this is much more engaging as it starts the first 3 seconds than this one that is here, right? So I think I missed something here. Let me play this. Share and subscribe for more updates. Okay, okay, okay, I didn't. So so let me just cut out this part now. Big news for all YouTube TV subscribers. All right. Well, the constant streaming? Yeah, so I'm going to cut out this parts now because this part is better as a start. I prefer this part now. So what I'm going to do now is just to let me just move this one now. Let me delete it. It's not really useful again. I delete it then. The next thing to do is to select everything. Select everything. This text is not useful. I'm going to select everything from here to the right. What I'm simply going to do is to bring the console here to the start of this or even just anywhere. In this place, within this region, but I won't let the so go to this side. So I'll just bring it here. Then then I'll left click and hold it. So when I left click and hold it, I'll be able to draw this box and let it select everything. I'll drag it, everything is selected. You can see so it's so easy. Another way you can actually do this easily is to come here, you can see this to tap on this, then tap selects rightward. Okay? So once you tap this, you simply what tap on this clip. So it's going to select this clip that I tapped and every other clip to the right. Okay? So it's so easy. Now, what I'm going to do now is just to change it back to the select mode then I drag it. I don't even need to drag it because I just want to delete this first too. I just have to select this one and select this one and then delete. But it's alright. I've shown you how to use that select right now. So what I'm going to do is simply to tap on this, delete it or inside, if I want to delete it two at the same time, I'm going to hold Control or if you're using a Mac, then you hold coman key. Then I'm going to tap on the second one. I was going to select both of them at the same time. Then I'll tap back space. All right. So let me select everything to the right again. Then I'm going to drag it and put it to the beginning of the clip, okay? See how easy it is. See how easy it is. Now, let's split it All right. Well, the cost of streaming TV is going up. YouTube TV is raising the price for its monthly You can see it started from this second clip. So what I want to do now is actually need this clip because I want to use it in another part of the video. So what I'm going to do is just to drag this clip. I'll select this clip and just drag it to anywhere on the timeline. Then delete select all and drag it back here. Great. So now that I've done that, you see how easy it is. So basically, it's just add and codes add and court, add and courts, add your clips, arrange them. Okay? So you say after putting this clip, I added this background. I'm going to drop a PDF file, okay? You're going to find it in the project and resources section of this course. So this PDF file is going to contain backgrounds, different backgrounds, different effects, transitions that you can use while editing your video. So it's a freebie for you and I got this grid background from dead, so you can see I died it here. So let's go back to this clip now. Initially, this clip is actually just like this. Let me scale this down to the original form. As you can see, 100. Let me put it in 100. Great. So this is how the clip is originally. It's a 169 video. I got it from my System IV, from my YouTube shot. So if you ever download a video that is not the same size as a short, that means it's not in the 916 ratio. It's not the same size as this mobile screen as this whole player. Then what you need to do is just scale it up. Okay, ski, I just the scale and adjust the position. Now what I mean by that is just you bring your cursor to the edge here, then you drag it until it feels the player. Okay, you keep dragging it until it actually feels the player. So once you do that, you simply place your cursor anywhere on the screen on disney, then you drag it around. See can drag it down. Just position it in such way that this woman, the main character would be in the center of the screen. You can see, I've accomplished that. There's still some black there's still some space at the bottom. So what I'm going to do is also increase the skill just a bit. I can increase it to 16 or 18. You can see now it has completely filled the screen. So let me play the video again now. Ising the price for its monthly subscription. You can see now. See how I successfully converted a long form video to a short. It's so easy. That's the same method you're going to be using to edit podcast. Okay? Just place it here, and then if another person is talking, you simply just move the screen. You move the video rather to the parts where the other person is, and then you position it, centralize it. Okay, so it's so easy, and that's what I did for this particular video clip. So let me just drag it back and centralized Great. So let's move on and $22.99 to $82. So why I actually chose this clip is because it contains this $72.90 $0.09 and it's $2.09 $0.09. Initially, I was thinking of creating this graph myself, adding an moving Oppo so it's $2.99. But then I found this one, and it's actually better saves time. So I'll just drag this going to drag this until go to Drag Its until it feels the screen. So I'll keep increasing the skill, keep increasing the skill and centralize this 72 to 88. Okay? So I think this is great. This is okay. This is okay now. So let's play it again and see. The monthly subscription cost is going up from $72.99 to 80. So you can see how fast it is. I need this $82 to land here. Exactly. I mean, this arrow you can see now when this arrow moves here. $22.99 to eight. I mean, the line, when it gets here, it's actually it's $2. I mean, demand is not actually saying, let me say, the voiceover is not actually saying it's $2 here, so I need it to be in sync with the audio. So what I'm going to do is just to increase this bit and then I'm going to play with the speed. Going up from $72.99 to 80. Yeah, I'm going to just come here to speed. You can see this watch my Coso, go to tap on speed here. So here, I can increase the speed, and I can also reduce the speed to create a slow mode, right? So if I increase the speed just a bit, see what happens. The duration becomes shorter, and that's not what I want to achieve. $22.99 to $82.99. Okay, so I actually need this video, this clip to end where the voiceover ends and you can see that it ends right here where the clip is split. $5.99. You can see that it ends exactly. So one way I can actually do this is just to play around with this until until it actually gets to the end here, I can keep reducing it until it gets to the playhead there. If I keep reducing it, I'm going to get it or another way, which is even faster, and it's better if you're editing long clips. So what you're going to do is just to bring your play head to the beginning of this clip, right. So once you bring it to the beginning of this clip, you can see here it is at the 16 second mark, the 16 second mark. Then you bring it to the ending of this you see now it's at the 22nd mark. So basically, that means this clip is 4 seconds long with just 23 minutes seconds. So what we're going to do now is to come to this duration here. This duration, with this duration, you can alter the speed of a particular clip to match a specific duration. Let's say you want this clip to be one minutes long, or let me say 5 seconds long. You just put 5 seconds long here, 5 seconds here, then enter. So it's going to adjust the speed in such a way that the entire clip will be exactly 5 seconds long. You understand the idea now. So if you put this now to 4 seconds, I don't know if I can put 23. It does not accept more than one decimal place. So I'll just tap Enter. You can see what's done here. It's not so I just said it to 3.6 seconds and it's actually fits. I don't know if I did something wrong with my calculation, but all the same though. I've actually got. You can see now that it ends exactly at this script. So let me plead it now. The monthly subscription cost is going up from $72.99 to $82.99. That's right. Cost is going up from $72.99 to $82.99. Well, it does not really match yet. So what I'm going to do is just to reduce the bits, the bits and let's see. $2.99 to $82. Let me make this 5 seconds. 5 seconds long. And $0.99 to $82.99. From $72.99 to $82.09. Okay, Grit. It lands at $82 exactly when the guy or the voice over says $82. So this is perfect now. All I need to do is just cut out this Xs parts at the back of the splits here. So I'll just bring my play head and just tap, then delete Grit. $72.99 to $82.99. Beautiful. So this is perfect. This is perfect. Another thing I can actually do is to come here and once I'm here, I can just. So what I can do here is just come let me come here and see Let me come here. Here, I can just add a skill keyframe and position key frame. So basically, keyframes are like automations. They allow you to automate certain or no of them just certain almost everything can be automated here, you can see here. Whenever you see this diamond icon, it's called a keyframe icon. So you can use it to add keyframe specific point of your video in order to create animations. I'm going to talk about that more later on. So I'll just add another keyframe here on the position and the scale. And then I will just bring this here a bit to create a little fluid motion. I can also increase the scale just a bit. I can increase the scale just a bit here. So it'll be only de two only the 82.99 is on your screen. Great. So it has automatically added the keyframe already to both of them. So let's split and see what it looks like. Weekly subscription cost is going up from $72.99 to $82.99. You can see. You can see that it's not really smooth. So what I can do is just click on this, then click, then come to the bottom here and click Show variable speed animation. So here in the animation here, I can just simply let me increase this bit so I can see it's better. Right here, so I'll simply tap on this keyframe and tap on Autocve here. I see it's here autocve then tap on this keyframe and autocves too. So here, I can come to this position key frame too. This is the position key frame. So I will do the same thing, add Auto cove Autocveos added already. So can come here, tap on this keyframe to Autocve. Let's spit and see what it looks like now. From $72.99 to $82 from $72.99 to this is, I think I prefer it here. And then here, I can add keyframe here and just bring it up in bits. Bring it up in bits. Or simply just com here. Cubic out. $0.99 to $82.99. Great. So I've done some little changes here and From $72.99 to $82.99. Going up from $72.99. I think if I bring this key frame back a little bits, it's going to be better. So let's see. Going up from $72.99 to $82.99. Great. From $72.99 to $82.99. I think this is too much. Going up from $72.99 to $82.99. That's right. A $10 is going up from $72.99 to $82.99. I guess this is okay. So I've successfully added an animation to this video keyframe animation. So now I can close this back. And yeah, but good. $72.99 to $82.99. That's right. A $10 hike. Alright. Basically, what I just did now is just add some key frames, some position and skill keyframes in order to bring out this effect. Enty $2.99 to $82.99. That's I can see, yeah. So I just zoomed in this part and later zoomed in this $82.90 $0.09. Alright, so that's it for these parts. Now let's move on to the next clip. Is it $0.99. That's right. A $10 hike. YouTube TV says the increase is due to rising content costs in investments and service quality. Alright, so there's not yeah. I have a clip for this part. I have a clip for this part. I got a clip for this part, so let me find it. Let me find it. Yeah, this is it. So I'll just drag this now to this part. As you can see, it's too long to fit into this gap. So what I'm going to do here is I'm going to cut this now. I'm going to cause this. I'll just put this here and then cut it a bit. Cut it a bit play the clip so that I can see it. Costs and investments in service quality. Existing here, what I'm going to do now is just to increase the speed just a bit. Just a bit. So now I can just bring my cost to the end of the clip here. Until it becomes this CLC changes to this icon, then that means I can easily just cope it like this. Okay? So I can cope the size, the length of the clip. Until it fits in, then I'll drag it in. It doesn't fit in yet, so I'll drag it until I see the blue line. This is not turn not snapping. So I'm going to drag it until I see the blue line. You can see now the blue line has shown, so I'll just drag it in and it fits. So let's see it now. Ontent costs in investments and service quality. I content costs in investments in service. Look at the play here now. You notice that this is not full. It's not the size of the screen. So what I'm going to do now is just to increase I skill it up. I can easily just drag it from here. If I drag it from here, you can see that it has filled up the screen now. I can easily just kill it up here. It's still the same thing. So let's play it again and see. Rising content costs in investments in service. Alright, so now that I've done that, you can see that the transition from this to this, even though it's lagging, the video is lagging a bit. The transition from this to this is not smooth enough. This is where transitions now come in, okay? This transition section here, I can now choose a transition that I think is okay enough. So let me just try this dissolve transition. I'll add it here and then let's see. Rising content costs in investments and service quality. I don't think I really like this to undo and then and now this is it. Let me try this superimpose. Okay, great. So let's see this. In content costs in investments in service. This one is okay. This is perfect. So that's how you continue to add transitions for each code here. Dollar hike. YouTube. For each change of scene, you need to add the transition. It's not really necessary sometimes, but as long as the transition from one video clip to another is no smooth, then you need to add this transition. Aanother thing you can do is just to add an animation. You click on the clip, then tap on this animation, and then you add an in animation. YouTube. You can see what has happened now. It's feeding in. So what I'm going to do here is just to zoom this in. I want to zoom this in so that it to feel the screen. Okay? So let me bring it to this part here. Okay, so this is the beginning of it. And what I'm going to do now is I'm going to add a key frame to the beginning of this video of this video clip. I'm going to come here and I will add a position key frame here, and I will come to the ending here, and here I will add another keyframe here, another position keyframe. So basically, what I'm going to do here is just to drag it. So once I drag it, I'm going to drag it to the end of the clip here. Great. So automatically, it's going to add another key frame to that. So now let's split and see what happens. Hey, a $10 hike. YouTube TV says the increase is due to rise. You see what happen now. So I can just smoothen it out here. Tap key and then just zoom this out just a little bit, just a little bit. And here, I can just tap on AutoCovOce I come here, I can tap on this, or don't let me zoom this out. So I'll tap on this keyframe and then Autocvet, tap on this keyframe so and then AutoCvit. Yeah, so let's play this now. Or hike, YouTube TVs it's still not smooth enough to me. I can choose a preset that I prefer. There's presets that I can actually use. So what I'm going to do now is just to drag this a little bit and see. Okay, so drag this one up a bit so make it steeper. And then $10 hike. YouTube TV says the increase. Okay, so Okay. $10 hike. YouTube TV says the increase is due to rising. Great. So I've added this, even though it's quite a little bit fast, but I think it's still fine for this clip. It's still fine for this clip, so I'll just tap on this. Oh, it's key. So hi the key frame grab. Or hike. YouTube TV says the increase is due to rising CT. So I think this is okay. This is fine. This is fine. So the next thing I need to do is to add I want to add transitions to each and every clip, so I'm just going to do that, and I'm going to post my recording until I'm done with that. So let me just add transitions to every split here. So every split in this video. Alright, so I finished adding all the transitions that I need to add to the later part of this video, and see in some parts, I did not add transition in some parts I added. Got this increase in price. Are you considering sticking with YouTube TV or looking for alternatives? Let me know in the comments. Don't forget to lo so this transition here, you can see this transition I added, I did not get it from Cap Code from the Cap Code Library. It's available in that PDF file. I mean, it's available in the file that you're going to be getting. It's a Google Drive document, and you're going to be getting the link after this course. So you're going to find different animations. This fire transition. This fire transition that you just watched here is actually like a trending animation now. It's a trending transition now, so you also get it in that pack. It's free. I'm going to give it to you for free for taking this course. So just watch it again and see. Or looking for alternatives. Let me know in the comments. Don't forget to so this transition comes with its own SH, with its own sound effects, and that's why you can see the audio wave there. You can see the audio wave right here. So that's it for this part. Now, there's something I want to add to these beginning part now. These beginning part, see. All right. Well, the cost of streaming TV is going up. YouTube TV is raising the price for its monthly subscription. This really bums me out, it's raising the question is streaming the new cable? Alright, so in this part, this new cable, I want the voice to change so that it be so to keep their retention mode, the retention of the viewer is going to keep them watching this video. So let me just show you how I'm going to do this or what I'm going to do, basically. So here. It's where it's monthly subscription. This really boms me out. And it's raising the question I streaming the new cable? Ising the question is streaming. Right, so after this is the streaming, I'm going to split the video. Okay? So I just wanted to be split where I just want to work on the parts where she said the new cable. Dreaming the new cable. Dreaming, the new. Okay, so it's here, right here. So if I split it here, good. Now I'm going to tap on this particular clip here and just come to audio. And in this audio, I can come to Voice hanger and select Lou. The new cable. So you can see. It's monthly subscription. This really bums me out. And it's raising the question is streaming? The new cable. Starting. Right. So this is okay. Well, I still need to do some more things to some more touches to this particular clip. So I'm going to come to this effect tab and find something like a glitch effect. Let me find the glitch, okay? So you can see the glitch section here. So once I tap on glitch, you can see let me look for something. I think this is this fine. This one is okay. I'll just drag this to fit the clip and let's play it and see. The question is streaming the new cable. Great. You can see what I just did now. So video editing is not really that hard. I mean, once you know the basics, basically, once you know the basics, you know how to find your way around cap code. Then the next thing that remains is your creativity. How creative are you? What can you come up with using the available resources? As you can say, Capcde is a tool. So what you make out of Capcde depends largely on what you can imagine and how well you can combine the different features to actually make something that is appealing. So let me play it again. Is streaming the new cable. Good. So what I want to do here too is to make this black and white and the parts. So what I'm going to do is just to add an adjustment layer. I'll come here to adjustment and drag the adjustment layer here to the top of it, just reduce it a bit, and then I'll come down here to saturation and just take this to the lowest. So if you reduce the saturation, it's going to make it black and white, basically. So question is streaming the new cable. Yeah. The new cable. For some reason, I don't know why this effect just stops playing. I've noticed this. I don't know if this is like a bog or something, since I updated this cap code. It's really bums me out. And it's raising the question. Is streaming? The new. And it's raising the question. Is streaming? The new cable. Streaming. The new that's what I just achieved here using the effects and I just mean the. So now, what I want to do now is just to add a little VFX. Oh, I'm going to do that later. I'm going to do that data in another lesson. I'm going to be talking about the music and the sound effects, right? Not VFX, the SFX. Or we get to that lesson. Here, we're going to make sure that we've added all our transitions and done everything that is necessary. So Alright, well, the cost of streaming TV is going up. YouTube TV is raising the price for its monthly subscription. This really bums me out. And it's raising the question is streaming? The new cable. Starting January 13, 2025, the monthly subscription cost is going up from $72.99 to $82.99. If I play these parts now, you can notice that there's not in years there's only this background here because I plan to add some elements here. That's why I added this background. I I play it now? Starting January 13, 2025, the monthly subscription cost is going up from 72. So we have January we have 2025. Here I have a green screen for 2025. I think this is it. I mean, this is it. I will just drag this now. Drag it here and reduce the size. The monthly subscription 72. So I'm going to remove the sound, and I can do that by just reducing the volume. See this waveform, if you hold your caso you see that the curso will change to this you can just hold it and drag it down. So once you drag it down, it controls the volume. You can see can increase the volume and reduce it from here. And you can also do the same thing by going to audio and then you see, just moving it here. You can see that the waveform is also moving. So I'm going to reduce it to the barest minimum and then 2025. The monthly subscription Right, so I just need this part where the green screen is. It's also a blue screen here. So I just need the green screen parts. I'm going to just split it here and then delete the rest. So the parts where the 2025 is just short. Let me see again. Cable starting January 13, 2025, the Alright, so I have this now, and I can place this. Way the 2025 starts. Let's see. Starting January 13, 2025. So it starts around. So that's, you know. Starting January 13, 2025. January 13. So let me just drag the CI bits. Starting January 13, 2025. The month? Alright, so this is great. I just need to increase the speed of bits because there's not so much space for this long animation. So let me increase the speed of times two. January 13, 2025. You go see what has happened now? Starting January 13, 2025. The monthly Great. So this is perfect. You can see what I'm doing. I don't want you to get overwhelmed. Just take your time and watch what I'm doing. Okay? So if you ever need to use any of the things I'm using in the shows, you might not need it in this shows video you're creating, you might need it in another, but it's still a knowledge that you need to have as a video editor. All right, so just watch what I'm doing, okay? And now, for this green screen, what I want to do is to remove the background, which is the green background, okay? So I'll just be left with these golden letters. Okay? So what I'm going to do now is just to tap on video here. So when I tap on video, I tap on remove BG, then I tap on Chroma key. So once I tap it, I just bring my co, so yeah, you can see as automatically brought out the colo pia. S. If I tap on this, it's going to bring it out like that. I'm just going to over it over the green. Once I overheate over the green, then I tap on Enter, and you can see the ers remove 18, 2025. There's see a little bit of green there that I don't like, so I'm going to increase the intensity of the Chromaqy until all the greens are out, but the gold is still there. This is going to be tough. This is going to be tough. Let's see. 18, 2025. I think the problem is because of the glue effect that is around this. That's why it's really remove the green screen completely without spoiling the letters. But it's still good. I guess this one is still okay. Starting January 13, 2025, the monthly subscription cost. What I'm going to do now is just to drag this down a little bit. Go to drag this down a little bit. I'm going to drag it down a little bit here, so that eighth, 2025. The monthly subscription. This is okay for the video. I'm not going to change it. It's enough. What I'm going to do now is just to add something to the beginning. Okay? So I have a calendar animation, too, a calendar going screen. So I'm going to drag this one and bring it here. Let me show you what it looks like. Starting January 13, 2025, the monthly subscription cost is going up from $72. Okay, you got to see. I also I'll include this animation here. I'm going to include this green screen in the pack that you're going to be getting. So what I've done here right now is to let me play it for you. Starting January 13, 2025. So like I say, I already cut out the rest of the green screen, the rest of the calendar and I made sure it's ended at 13 because the prize is going to be going up on January 13, so you can see? January 13, 2025. Jen is streaming. The new table. Starting January 13, 2025. You can see it. So what I need to do here right now is just to remove the green screen from this calendar clip. I just need to remove this green screen, this green background from this calendar green screen. In order to achieve that, all I need to do is just to make sure I select the calendar clip, then come to remove BG. Click Croma key, then hover over the green part, the background, just click it. So you can see that it has removed it already, but I still have some traces of going around this calendar. So what I need to do is just increase the intensity just a little bit. You see, if I increase it too much, see what happens. So just a little bit until it looks good enough. So this is great, right? So let's split it now. New cable starting January 13, 2025. Right, so you can see, it's perfect now. I've already set up the calendar, and I've already added the 2025 too. So what I'm going to do right here is just to add let me see, let me add a little bit of keyframe animation to this, okay? So what I want is for this to come up. Okay, so I'm going to add the keyframe animation to the ending of this one. Okay, so let me add a position and skill keyframe to this calendar clip, right? So I'm going to add another one here, too. Going to add another one here. I'm going to add this and this. So for the position, I'm going to bring it down here and the skill. I'm going to reduce the skill to make it smaller like this. And make sure it's centralized. So let's see what this does. The New table. Starting January 13, 2025. You can see? Very, very easy. Don't worry. In the next days language, we're talking about the keyframe animation. I'm going to explain it to you so that you won't feel lost because I've not explained this yet. But even with what I'm doing, I'm sure you should be able to, you know, to grab some things already. New off table. Starting January 13. Okay, so what I want now is for this tetan also be showing 22. I want it to be showing over this 2025 here. So once this 2025 lands, the Tetan Canada tetan will still be showing at the top here. So what I'm going to do is just to bring this tetan. Okay? So I'm going to split this. 10. Keyframes (lesson 9): Lesson, I'm going to be talking about keyframes and how you can use them in your video editing. So right here, I have this image of a soccer field. It's a diagram of a soccer field, so I'll just drag it here to the timeline, and I have a transparent background image of a Boomerang. So I'm going to drag it here to the top of this so that it will appear over the field. Now, first of all, let me make this a little bit smaller. Let me make this a little bit smaller. And just put it here. Great. What exactly are key frames? Keyframes are markers that are used to specify the start and end of animations and effects in video editing. Key frames can be identified by this icon here. You can see this icon that is most of beside these features, beside position beside rotates, besides skill. Keyframes can be used on practically every feature in cab codes. A simple demonstration of a keyframe effect can be like this. Let me add a keyframe to the beginning of this boomerang. I'll just add the keyframe to the scale and then at the end, I'm going to add, let me bring the playhead here. At the end, I'm going to add another keyframe and I'm going to increase the scale to I'm going to increase the scales to this. Okay? So now let me plate and show you what it look like. You can see that it's increasing progressively and slowly. Basically, keyframes are used to create animations in cap code or in video editing in general. And you can add keyframes to practically everything on Capcod. Okay, so I want to create an animation that will make this boomerang, go from this position so this position like this and circular come back here. You know, if you throw a boomerang or let me start from here. You know, if you throw a boom ng, it's supposed to go and come back to you. So I want to create the effects here on cap codes. How do I do that? I simply start I put the boomerang in the starting position. I wanted to start to come out of the screen. Let me reduce the size just a little bit. Okay? So I want it to come out of the screen here. Then I will come here and add a key frame to the position and rotation. I'm adding a keyframe to this rotation because I want the boom ng to spin. I want it to spin while it's moving across this field. So what I'm going to do here is just move a frame forward. And you can do that by clicking the right arrow key on your keyboard. Okay? So once you click it, it's going to move just one frame forward. And once I move one frame forward, I'm going to move this booming. I'm going to move it here. Going to move it forward a bit. And you can see that a keyframe has been added automatically to this new position. Now, I need to add the rotation here. So what I'm going to do is just add a 90 degree rotation to this. So you can see that it has rotated 90 degrees grades. So I'm just going to move another frame forward and move this boom ran forward again. That's added the key frame automatically. Then I will change this rotation to one st or 18 rather, change to 180 grade. Then I'll move another frame forward. I move another frame forward, move this here, then change this to 27c. Then another frame forward. Move this forward and change the angle of rotation to 36. Great. So that's a complete rotation now. Let me play this and show you what it looks like. You can see. The key frame made the boom rank to move from this position to this position while spinning. But it's a little bit fast. If I want to adjust the speed, I can easily just move these key frames, the speed of the rotation, I can move these key frames and not just the speed of the rotation, but the speed of the rotation and position. So if I do this and I plate, you can see, let me move this a little bit farther. Let me move this a little bit farther now and show you. Let me reduce this. Okay. Great. So let me play again. You got to see what happened. You got to say what happened. This part that go a little bit faster because the distance between these two keyframes is smaller than the rest. Yes, if I play tin, you will notice that when you go to this part, it was faster. I see. So that's basically the work of key frames. So let me just make this animation complete. Let me make it complete. What I'm going to do is just I can let me delete this animations, these key frames, first of all, let me delete this and delete this. And what I would do is I will just come to somewhere somewhere quarter. Let me say quarter of this clip. I'm just estimating that this is a quarter of the clip, and I will just move this here and move this to the center. It will create a keyframe automatically, and then I'm going to taste this to 90 90 degree rotation. Then I'll move this here. Okay. I'm going to move this here to this goal post here. Great. Then I'll create a 18 degree rotation. Then for this last keyframe here, let me put this here before the last part. Let me put it in the last part. Let me put this in the last part. Then I'm going to move this here back to the starting position. How do I actually know the exact starting position of this boomerang? What I can do is just to come here to this keyframe to the first keyframe and then copy this position here, okay? Copy this position. And the Y position is minus five oh five. So I'll come back here to this keyframe and paste it here, past her and turn this to minus five oh five. Great. So you can see that it's back to the starting position. So let's split this clip now and see what we've accomplished. Now, this last part has not been rotated to 360. Let me teat this to 360. Great. Let's split now. You can see? That's how you use keyframes. You can keyframe anything, practically anything. I know I've said I'm saying it again that you can keyframe as long as you find this diamond icon beside it, then that means you can automate or animate that particular feature. I can also add an opacity keyframe to this. I'll just come here and, uh, scroll down a little bit. There's opacity here. It's underneath this blend section, right? So it's 100% here, and I can add the keyframe here. And when I come to this last part, I can reduce the opacity to zero. Great. So let's see what happens. You can see that the boomerang slowly faded out. You see what just happened right now. So that's how you can add a keyframe to your opacity to the opacity position and even scale, too. Okay? So I can add a keyframe to this. I can add a keyframe to this scale here at 20%. And then when I get to this ending part, I want the I want the size. Let me remove this opacity keyframe. I want the size to come up to something as big as this. Okay, so let's play it now. You see what just happened. If you want to animate anything, you want to animate any feature, any element, any sticker, you want to animate, you use keyframes. There are some effects that you can replicate using keyframes like the low quality effects, this low quality effect. I had someone that was asking me how she could access this low quality et, this low quality effect because I think cap cords effect made this effect a pro feature before. Let me show you what this low quality effect does, essentially. Let me remove this broom rang and add it again. So let me show you what this low quality effect does. Sorry, I meant the low exposure, not this one, not this one. Low exposure. So this is it. Okay, so this is low exposure. You see what this does? It dims the whole video. Everything that is beneath this low exposure theater, this low exposure effect becomes dim gradually. So we can also mimic this. We can also replicate this using k frames. So how do we do it? First of all, we need to make these two clips. We need to make them a compound clip. And how can we do that? First of all selects the first clip. Then you hold down Control or command, depending on the kind of PC you are using. Hold this down and tap on the second one to select at the same time. Okay? So you tap and hold all G. ATG, or you simply write click on it and look for compound clip. You can see it creates compound clip, and you see the short cut is ATG, right? So Alts G, and it has created a compound clip. This is basically merging the two clips together so that we can apply the effect on the keyframe once and for all, right? So what I'm going to do here is just to add a keyframe here at the beginning. I'm going to add a keyframe to opacity, okay? So once I add this keyframe at the beginning, I'll come to the end of this and add another key frame. I'll add another key frame here and reduce this to make this low a bit. Great. So it has automatically added the keyframe. I can drag this a little bit to the end of this clip, and let's see it's now. It's still a little. Let me bring this closer so it will happen faster. Let me bring this a little bit and play it again. So you can see what just happened. It's the same effect that is here. This low exposure effect is the same effect that I just created using keyframes. So you can use keyframes on basically anything. Now, let me show you how you can use a keyframe graph. So I downloaded this from YouTube and it's just counting, countup number store. You see what it looks like? Share and subscribe. You can see counting of numbers. So let me just split it out somewhere at 2000 because I don't want it to be much. And did it. I want to animate this count up in such a way that it would be increasing in size gradually. How do I do that? I simply just need to come to different of this and just add, add the key frame to the scale. Then I come to the last part and just add another keyframe or no need. I just need to just increase the size to the size I want this to end at. This is great. This is okay. You see that the key frame will add automatically. Now, let me play it. Let's see. So this is what we have here. We have these numbers here. These numbers that are counting up, right? So this animation in itself is just a linear animation, ok? It's just going upwards, straight, no other curve effect or something. So if you want to edit this keyframe, there's provision for that using a keyframe graph, and you can access that by right clicking on the video clip and scrolling down. You see show variable speed animation here or you simply just tap tap and hold OK so it bring out this keyframe graph for you. So basically, what you can do here, first of all, you can adjust the scale for me. If you look at this graph now, you can see that for me, it's going upwards. It's going upwards. That means the scale is increasing. If I move this keyframe at disappointed, if I move it, watch this scale, you can see that it's increasing. So I can as well increase the scale. I can increase the size from here too. Let's say I have already already passed already increased it to the max here. You can see like 500 is the max. 500 is the max, but let me bring this cos playhead here. If I increase this to the max now, 500 is the max, I can't go further here. But if I still want to increase the size of this number, I can still open up this keyframe graph and raise it up. You can see. So what you can do here, you can increase the size infinitely. You can increase the size infinitely. So let me just leave it here. You can still do the same here. You can bring it down if you want it to be smaller on the screen. If I decide to move this back a bit, what is simply going to do, you can see, it's just reduce the size between this keyframe and this keyframe. Now, there's something I need you to understand because most people find it hard to understand keyframes. A key frame, when you're creating a keyframe animation, it must be between two or more dots. Okay, two or more keyframes. If you want to create a keyframe that will increase the size of this t now, this, this counts up. You can create just add the keyframe here and just increase the size without adding the keyframe here. So you need to add a keyframe here first. This will signal the start of the animation, and then you add the second keyframe after this one. After the first one you've added, then you now increase the size or you change the position or you change the rotation or any other effect you want to add. Do you understand? So the first keyframe will be the normal level. Where the second keyframe would be one that will contain the change that you want to happen. That's basically what I've done here. You can see if I move the backwards now, what simply going to do is just reduce the size between these two dots, thereby speeding up the key frame. And if you look at the graph now, that means from year to year, the counts up is going to increase in size. And then in this space you can see that the keyframe graph is just, nothing will happen yet. You understand. So the understanding this graph is quite easy. Once you just understand this, you can easily just find your way around this graph, right? So the next thing we want to do here, or the next thing you can do here is to add an auto curve if you want the animation to be smoother. So all you need to do, first of all, is to tap tap any of these key frames. Okay? So if you tap anywhere beside this key frame, you see that it's going to select. The key frame here is going to turn blue. Let me increase the size of this so that I can see it better, okay? So if I tap anywhere near here, you said that the key frame will turn blue. If I tap anywhere just very close to this, is going to select the key frame. Great. Now look at where it is. It's currently on the linear mode and that's why it's just a straight line. If I select this autocve, auto cove is the next one, see what happens. Automatically curve this. If I come here and I select if I come and yeah I select this auto curve to see what it does. It automatically creates this kind graph, goes like this, then goes up, then levels a bit. Let's play this and see what it looks like. Like this now, it has made the animation smoother. And the last option here is your words for the free curve. This free curve, essentially, you can still do the same this auto cove. This simply means that you can move it, you know, anywhere you like. You can make the curve go up. You can make it steeper. You can drag it out. You know, you can do all this. So you can do this by bringing your cursor to these thoughts here. Then you left click on it and hold it, then you can drag it up down left, right. You can see where the graph is moving, right? So this is it when you select this auto curve mode, so you can still move this, right? So there are also templates that you can choose. If you come to this symbol, if you click it, you see some presets, these curves that you can easily just choose from, right? So if I choose this curve now, this cubic out, I choose this. What this one simply does? Let me reduce the size of it so that I can see it. You can say, what does? It's going to increase the skill. It's to increase it, and then here, it's become level. You can see that it's a straight line here. It's still on the same parts. Even though here you understand what I mean, right? Let me just let me bring this. Let me bring this like this and hold on. So let me increase the size. I need you to understand this because most people find it hard to understand this key frame graph. So what happens here basically is that this scale increases, see that it's increasing gradually. Then when it gets here, it doesn't increase as much as it was increasing here. You can see now it's basically level. So let me play so that you see what I mean. More updates. You can see? So you can see that when the play head, when it got to this part of the keyframe animation, this part of the graph, the numbers stopped increasing. I just remained as it was. So if I change this templates now, if I change this preset to something else like this one, like this one now, what this one is going to do is just at this part, it's not going to increase much. But when it gets to this part, then to start increasing very well. Then when it gets to this pass just pl out, right? So let me play it so that you see what I mean. See if you can see that much, you can't notice the difference that much, I can just raise this up a little bit. I can raise this up a little bit and then still make this label, tap on this curve here, this ski frame here, then reduce it. So you will see it. Glass. So that's it. When it was level, it was level. It was not really increasing. But when it got there, you can see that it increases gradually. So this keyframe graph, you can use it to control the way this keyframe work, right? So you can use it in your shorts if you're controlling a press if you're animating anything in your shorts video, you can easily just bring up this. After adding your keyframe, you can bring up this graph and just, you know, so that you can just work with this and make your keyframe smoother. So what I want to do with these numbers now with this countup now is I want it to increase gradually. Beginning. And then in the middle, it's going to remain level for some time. Then at the end, it's just going to increase fat. I'm sure you might have seen something like this in the video. So I can easily just start with a preset. I can start with a preset. Let me click this and bring it out. So if it disappears, all you need to do is just to click. You can see this arrow, this arrow here, click it and it will bring it out. This graph can work for anything. If you are working on a keyframe for your position for opacity for your effects, you can use this graph, ok? So what I can do right here is just to start with the the preset, I can start with the preset, like the QB cut. Yeah, I can start with this and then remember that I said, I want it to increase gradually. Okay? And then when it gets to the center, I want to just be level. And then when it gets here, I wanted to just, you know, go up very, very fast. Okay? So this will be the mark. I want this to be the maxkee frame. Let me reduce it a bit. So I want this to be the mark scale. Then I hope you understand what I'm doing. It's not difficult out. All you need to do is just to calm down, and then after watching this video, practice immediately. Okay? You can practice along as you're watching this, right? So this is the max scale that I want this to get to. And here I want it to increase very fast. So I can just drag this here to create a sort of increase. You can see. So when it gets to this point here, it's going to increase very fast. You can see it here, you can see. So at this part, it's going to be level relatively. And here, here, I can make the curve steeper, a little bit steeper by doing this. Okay? So let me play it now. Okay, you can see. You see? You see what just happened now? Let me bring this back. You see what just happened. At the same time, I can still increase this kale, can still increase it out like this and then still work on this curve. I can work on this curve, bring this to the end, come to this other curve here, work on it, make it steeper. You can add more keyframes at any point of this curve, any point of this graph. If I put my play head here, if I put my play head here, I can easily just tap on this. You can see add keyframe. It's going to add a keyframe here. You can see what it has done, it's very, very easy. Let's play this time and see what happens. So that says for key frames. I think I've explained at this everything that you need to know. All you need to do is just to practicalize it, okay? Practice it says when you are creating your project to be submitted at the end of this course, make sure that you use, you know, use the keyframes to animate at this phone character. You can animate a picture, you can animate a picture of someone just moving, you know, like let me add something. Let me add something now. Let me show you a practical example right now. So here, I have a PNG of myself. I remove the bagon from this image, so I'm just going to drag it here to the timeline and put it here, okay? So this is what I want. This is the effects that I want to create right here. I want to create let me turn this to a short video to 16 nights in ratio. Then fill up the screen like this. Okay? So I want I want this my image now. Let's assume it's a video. Okay? We can assume this is a video. This is my image is a video. So I want it when the video starts. I want it to just pop up while I'm talking. I'm sure you must have seen shots like that. So how they do that is what you need to do is just to come to the beginning of the clip. Your clip, make sure you selected the clip. If it's a video picture, you just select this then you add a keyframe on the position. Okay So you add a keyframe on the position and then you bring it, you just bring it out. You bring it out of the whole video. Okay? Then you come here where you want wherever you want the image or the video to appear, then you just let's say I want it to appear here, I can just come to the frontier and bring it up now, okay? So I can now bring it up. Great. So let's play dancing. You see? If I want it to be faster, you know, all I need to do is just select this keyframe and drag it closer then play it. You see? So the closer the keyframe the keyframes are the faster the animation would be. So it's very, very, very easy. It's very easy. You can do something like this in your video. If you're creating a short video that involves you talking about a particular topic, then you can remove the background from your video, then do something like this. So your face or yourself topic will just come up, right. Just enter the video like that. So that's it for keyframes. Do not forget that you can add keyframes to anything, anything including audio, see this audio now, this 11 labs audio here, I can come here, you can see the volume, the fading out. I can add keyframes here. Here, the volume starts just at 0 decibels. If I add the keyframe here and I move forward just a bit here, I move forward just a bit and I reduce the volume here. You can see it automatically add a keyframe. I say that we've created a fade outut effect, the same effects that you'd get if you use this feature. So the reason why you can actually use this keyframe feature to replace this fade oututs is if you want to create effects that will involve your audio reducing and then increasing. This fade outut will just allow your audio to reduce at the ending. You can add the keyframe at any point of the audio. Here I can just come forward a bit and then puts the volume back to zero decibils. You see what has happened here. Just look at this part here. Let me bring it to the center of the screen. You can see now. You see what the audio does. It reduces, and then it comes up. So let me play it. Share and subscribe for more up. Let me move it so that you would notice it's better. Okay. I think this is good. Share and subscribe for more updates. You see what happens. So it's faded out and fitted in. So practice with keyframes are easy to use, and they are very, very handy. As long as you know how to use keyframes, there will be some effects that let's say, if you're not using cap Cod SP, there'll be some effects that you can just recreate by yourself. So I'll see you in the next lesson. 11. Adding Captions (lesson 10): Come back to this course. In this lesson, I'm going to be adding captions to this shorts video. I'm going to be teaching you how you can automatically create captions using cap cod and also edit it properly. Let's get started. Now, where you need to go to is these captions. You can see this captions icon here. Tap it and you will see an option for auto captions. You can see it here. We're in the auto caption section already, and here we can just click this Generates button to generate our captions immediately. Here, you also have the option to select the language that your voiceover was created with. Mine was created with English. I'll leave it here in English. If you're a poor user, you can create bilingual captions. That means you can create captions in English and other languages. So here, I'm just going to click Generate and wait for it to generate the captions for me. Also, this filler words section, this one is also a pool feature. You can select it if you wanted to remove filler words from your capture. You're going to identify it and you can easily remove them later. So it has added captions already. Let me play it now and see. All right. Well, the cost of streaming TV is going up. YouTube TV is raising the price for its monthly subscription. This really booms me out, it's raising the question is streaming the new cable starting January 13, 2025. So you can see, very, very easy. I noticed that Captions were not generated here. Is streaming. The New table. Okay? Captions were not generated yet. I can easily just add it myself. Or what I can do right now is just remove these captions using contro Z. Then before generating your caption, if you know that you have sound effects that is going to obstruct the generation of your captions, like this one now. The new table. Like this sound and also the voice effect here. I added the voice effect voice changer effect here. I think it's either because of this sound here or this voice effect here that the caption could not be generated. You can easily just generate the caption first of all, after you've cut your audio already, after you're already done with cutting your audio and all that, you've already, you know, set your video. Before you start adding all these vocal effects and all these other effects, all these ones all the sound effects. You can generate your caption, first of all, generate and you just leave it there. So you can edit this later if you want to edit it anytime you need to edit it, right? So what I'm going to do right here is just to come here to the audio I come to the audio, come to voice hanger. You can see that this Lou is currently selected, I can just call my selects original and let's see if it will work. Let's generate the caption again. All right. I just noticed right now I'm not going to edit this part out because you might face this issue. I faced this issue before. But this is what I noticed. Even after muting this track and removing the voice effect, still I still have this space here. When I play this part now you can see that the caption was actually generated, streaming the new cable, but it was added here. So that means I still need to edit it just place it right here where it's meant to be. But remember what I said, if you ever face this situation, if you have so many effects captions, nos be generated accurately. You can as well just mute the audio effects reservoir and just leave the voice, keep that in mind whenever you are editing your video. Now, my captions have been generated already. I don't want this to be linked, so I'm just going to turn off this linkage. See that those red lines disappeared. You can see. What do I do next now? I simply need to come to this caption section and you can see, beside text, you see all the text right here, all the text. This is where you can edit your captions. If I click this now, I can make this starts with the capital letter, even though it won't matter because of the kind of font I'm using. You might watch some videos on social media. You'll notice that these people actually use auto captions, but they don't bother to edit the captions because AI sometimes doesn't actually get what you are seeing right, especially if it's something that is spoken in an accent that is difficult to understand. You know this AI voice is pretty easy to understand but so people have different accents and the AI might not be able to detect the exact word that is being spoken. So it actually makes mistakes. You need to edit Csa it and make sure that the caption actually aligns with the audio with the voiceover. If it does not align, you make sure that you edit it. You can easily just edit Ste. Let me quickly check if there is any mistake here. Okay? There's no mistake here. There is no mistake here. There's no mistake here. But this dollars here, I want to change it to normal $72 $72.99 and $0.99. I'm going to delete this too. So it's $2.99. I'm going to change this too. So it's $2.99. I'm going to put an exclamation mark here and for the $10 hike, I'm also going to remove this and change it to normal figures. Put an exclamation mark here. Then I'm going to put a mark, question mark here, exclamation mark here. Great. We're done already. Now, when you are creating captions for shorts videos, it's advisable to use two words, two words per line. You can say, we have one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, it's words right here. It's a lot. It's too much. What you're going to do now is you simply call me if I want to break this one, I'll put the caso. I see this blue line, this blue caso, this blinking caso. I'm going to put it in front of the word that I want to start the breaking from, okay? I can put it here. Then I'm going to remove the space. I'll tap back space to delete the space in between these two words. Then I'm going to tap the entter key. So once I tap this, you see that word, the next word is going to come to the bottom. It's going to bring it to another line. So it's only going to display two words at a time, at most three words. Some people use just one word at a time, but words two max three words is okay. Okay? The words are okay. And here, this right where I'm just going to leave it here. This is okay for one line. But the cost of streaming, I'm going to backspace then Enter is going up. I'll put a full stop here. YouTube TV. I want this to be on the same line. B space, it's going to take it up and then space YouTube TV backspace to delete the space between the YouTube TV and I then enter key to bring it down. You can see the way and breaking the captions. So you need to break these captions like this. It enhances readability. So I'm just going to go ahead and break this. I'm going to break everything down, so I won't waste much time in this video. So once I'm done, I'm going to continue. So let me just break everything down. So look at this part. You can see it puts the increase is due to but the voiceover actually says the increase is due to rising contents cost. So you make sure you take note of this and make sure you edit it appropriately. You can see this is the right. So make sure that you always check you cross check your voice over, I mean, your captions before you actually export your video. So I'm done breaking the captions already. Now, I just need to come to this section and edit it accordingly. Okay? So let's play this part. Sh streaming. The new cable. Streaming. Okay, so this is the new cable starts here. So I can just drag this caption and put it here and then increase the size of this one. So when you bring your Coso end to the end of the block, it takes block or anything. You can see it shows everywhere. You can use it to just drag you right, click. I mean, you left click and you drag it. You left click and hold this then drag. You can see. So let's play this now. Shin is streaming. The new cable. Great. So this is done. Can drag this now to this part. So you can see. Of cable. Starting January 13, 2025, the monthly subscription now, let's go to this, but I think this is all that I need to do here. Eight, 2025, the monthly subscription, so I mentioned that I want it to be like the monthly subscription cost, okay? Like, D would be a monthly subscription. No, I said I would make the monthly BA subscription BA and the cost to BA. So let me just do that right now. The monthly five. The monthly So I think monthly starts right here. Monthly starts right here. I'm going to break I'm going to split this caption here. I'm going to split it here then Monthly subscription. So subscription starts here, I guess. What I can easily just do is come here to this part. Come here and in the captions section, then break it down here. Gasida splits in already. So this is easier. Now I'm going to bring this up need to break this cost too. Okay? So I'm going to take this up a bit. Just take it up. Here, I'm going to take it up and this cost too, I'm going to bring it up. Then I'm going to drag this monthly. I'm going to drag this monthly up here, drag it up here and increase the size just a little bit. Then subscription, I'm going to bring it. First of all, I'm going to extend this one this monthly to end where the costs ends. I want them to end at the place, same position. What I'm doing is very, very easy. It's very easy. Once you know what to do, you'll be able to do it. You'll be able to accomplish it here on cap code. This subscription now, I want it to come down beneath this monthly. I'll put it at the center of the screen. Then for cost, I'm going to bring it down here. So this is what I notice now, right now. The issue why you can see why this substation cost is going up. Why this is happening? The captions are refusing to be separated from metro dis because I forgot to turn this off. This applied to all. So as long as this applied to all we stick, any change you make any change you make any edits you make to any caption, I was supposed to leave this till the mode where I'll be adding the transitions and edits into the caption, but I need to explain it right now. So I need to turn off this apply to all before I can actually create these edits. I can actually move these captions around the screenenium and increase the size of caption without having it affects the rest. So that's what I'm going to do right now. You can see that the size of the rest of the caption has increased too. That's not a that's not a problem. I can easily just reduce the size now here. What is the size? Font size. This is still good. You can put this to nine though and you see that it affects the rest, it affects the rest. Now that I want to add this one, I need to untick this. I need to check it and then start dragging this monthly or drag this to the top, then subscription. I'll bring this to the center bring to the center here. And the costs, I'll leave this year, right. So now I can increase the size of this one quick I can increase the increase the size of this subscription like this and increase the size of the cost. I think this is great. This is great. So let's split it now. Five. The monthly subscription cost is going up. No. Subscription cost. So the court doesn't land exactly where the cost is actually said in the voiceover. Please subscription cost is going. Great now. This is exactly how you edit your captions, okay? So for recap, after generating your captions, you need to come to this caption section and cross check the captions, okay? So you need to cross check this for any mistakes. I see now I just noticed this mistake now, okay? So after cross checking for mistakes and correcting any mistakes that you find, then you need to break decaptions into sections of two or three words. If you want to use just one word per section, then you can also do that, right? So after breaking down the captions, then if you have any caption that does not align with the audio, like the one that I edited that, the one I corrected, then you just need to come to the timeline here and drag it onto the fit. I can see space here. Let me see what's happening here. YouTube TV is Okay, so I can easily just drag this one and make sure that it ends right where the next caption section is going to start. So make sure you do this. So once you're done with that, the next thing you need to do is what to start editing the caption. So in the next video, I'm going to be showing you how you can edit the captions, how you can download fonts. Okay? So how you can download custom forms from a particular website. I'm going to show you that website, so how you can download that phone and how you can install it on your PC and how you can use it on cap codes here. All right. So see you in the next lesson. 12. Installing Fonts (lesson 11): Lesson, I'm going to be showing you how you can find and install custom fonts in cap Code. The first thing you need to do is to visit this site here, dbpons.com. You can see I already have it open Gear. Dbpons.com is a site where you can actually get different fonts to use on Cap Code. You can use this in Capcod. You can use it in other apps, but this tutorial is focused basically on Capcde. Here, I'm going to search for a popular phones that I want to use, even though you can see, you can see, I already have it on my PC, or let me search it now. Let me just search it out so that I see it. Okay? So scroll to the bottom, and this is it doesn't have space, okay? Let me just search this like this. The bold font. These the bold font. You need to download this. We're going to be using it in this course. It's a very popular font for short. You can just easily just click this download button and it's going to be downloaded immediately. But I already have this installed, so I'm going to install the different fonts right now. Let me just scroll the and see. This Y holiday, let me download this right now. It has been downloaded. Let me open my downloaded folder and then What I need to do now is just click this font and open it. Okay? Okay, so where you see this open file, you're going to see an open type fonts document. Any of these two will actually work, okay? So just click on any of them and open it. So this is the font now, as you can see, you see a button to install it here. So click the Install button and it's going to install it. It has been installed already. Now, what you need to do is to restart your CapcdePC, okay? Now, what you need to do is to restart your Cap Code software. So you need to restart this Cape Cod software before the fonts will actually show in the font section. Okay? So let me just cancel this and restart the app. So I've restarted this. Now let me open the project again. Now I can easily just click on any of these fonts right here. Then I'll come to make sure I'm in this text section. I'm going to check this apply to all so that when I change the fonts, everything is going to change across all the sections of the captions. I'm going to click this part here, this font selection. It's going to bring out a drop down. Now I need to scroll down to the system font section. The is a section for system font and you'll see it right now. Okay. So if I keep scrolling, you can see now. He has a system font section. Now, I just need to find the fonts. The name of the font is Yea. I know it's y something, so I'll go to you can see it now, Ye holiday. And I will just click it and it's going to change the font of everything. You can see now. You can see that the font has been changed already. This is how you install the phones on CapcodePC. First of all, download your phones from de font.com. I'm going to include the link in the PDF that you're going to get after this course. Then you install the font, then you restart your Cap Codes PC. After restarting, you click on any of the phone sections and then go to the system font section and find the phones that you downloaded. It's as easy as that, right? 13. Captions Editing (lesson 12): What I'm going to do is to change the phones to the bold font Dbald phones, rather. So when you're editing your video for your projects, make sure you use this Dbald font. That's how I know that you're actually following this course, okay? So these Dbald fonts, just search it on depons.com and download it, install it and use it. Okay? So I'm going to select this one, and it's going to apply to all the captions. I mean, T. As you can see, so this is part of the reasons why your caption should be at most three because if it's more than two, you see that it'll be too much. If I put this three main you can say now, if you add any more word, it's going to come to the bottom and we don't want that at all. Now that I've done that, I'm going to come to this one, select any one of them, then screw to the bottom. Here, you can increase the font size. You can decrease it if you want. You can make it bold on the line, italicize it, the bold font, if you use it, it's only upper case, you can't have lower case for it. You have different options. You can change the color if you want to change the color, you can change the color here to any color you want and if you scroll down, you see alignment. Okay? This character align is simply for character spacing and line spacing. If I increase this character spacing, you can see that the space between each letter increases, okay? And if I increase the line spacing, this will be for, if I have two lines but each caption is only a one line, so I can't use this. Okay. Here you have the alignment options, centralized left alignment, right alignment. Okay? And if you scroll down more, you see different presets that you can choose from different presets. That you can choose from. I like using this one and it's what I'm going to use. You can see. So it's going to add the black border to all my captions. Okay? This one is almost the same thing but this one will be a glue. It's going to add the glue effect. It's going to add the glue effect. Okay? So you can select if you tap this button here, you're going to see more precess that you can choose from. Okay, let me reduce this. So here, this is for the transform. You can increase the scale, which is still the same thing as the size. You can change the position and you can do all this. You can also rotate the text here, too. So what else do I need to show. Remember, you can always add keyframes to each of these features. You can see this diamond icon is beside each and every one of them. Now if you scroll down with bits, you see blend, you see this opacity. What this does is just to increase and decrease the transparency, as you can see. Here, you can also add the key frame to it. And here for this stroke, this stroke is simply the outline, stroke and outline mean the same thing. So you can change the color of the outline if you want. If I change it to yellow, you see that I changes to yellow so I can control and remove it. And here you can increase the thickness of the stroke. You can increase the thickness of the stroke here. You can increase the thickness of the stroke. And for the background, you can add the background to the text if you want. You can add the background you see. You can add the background if you want. I don't want that, so I won't be adding it. Let me hide this background options. And scroll down a bit. There's the glue effect. There's a glue effect here that you can add. I'm going to be adding this too. I'm going to be adding this. I'm going to be leaving this on this captions. You can change the glue color here too and you can select it. You can remove it if you want. It's very easy to understand and also increase the intensity. Can increase the intensity if you wants that to be increased, and the range, too. So if you keep coding that you see different options, it's a shadow, too. I'm sure you already know what a shadow means, so I don't need to talk about it. And there's the curve if you want the t to be curve, but I don't think you ever need to use this. But if you ever need to use it, it's okay. But for captions, it does not really look good. But you just know that it exists here, okay? So this is it and basically, this is what I'm doing for my captions. I'm going to allow this glue remain and I'm going to leave the black border and glue effect. Make sure you do this in your own short video that you'll be editing for your project. Now, what I want to do is just to scroll down a little bit. Just let me reduce this and come back to this part. Now, you notice that you can see now that the subscription and cost and monthly are now on the same position, even though I already separated them before. That's because when I was applying all these effects, I click this Apply So all the features, all the formatting that every caption has here, including the position would be the same thing and that's why everything came back down. Now, if I'm ready to separate these captions, all I need to do is to uncheck this box, then separate them. Okay? So I'll just bring this it's monthly subscription costs. So I'll bring this monthly up here. This subscription, I'm going to leave it here, and these costs, I'm going to leave it right here. I'm going to leave you right here at the bottom here. That's all for this lesson. In the next lesson, I'm going to be showing you how you can add transitions to your captions to make it look better. I'm going to be adding transitions to each and every one of them, and I'm going to make sure that everything aligns with the voiceover. I'm sure you're enjoying the course so far. I would love to see your projects. Make sure you're working on your projects as you are watching this course. Make sure you're working on your projects, so it so be overwhelming for you at the ending. It's always better you practice along with me. So as I'm working on stuff here, make sure that you're working on it on your PC two. I'll see you in the next lesson. 14. Captions Effects (lesson 13): Now the next step is to add effects and transitions to Mcaptions. We can find the effects tab right here. Once you've clicked the text, you'll see the effects. So yeah, you can choose different can choose from various text effects that are already pre made for you. You can see various take effects that you can choose from, okay? So if I choose something like this one, if I choose this one, you see how this takes will change. Let me change this so. Let me put it here and select this one. So watch this takes now. If I select effects from this place, if I select this one, Okay, you can see that it has changed to something like a gradient, a white to black gradients now. And this is also good. I can also leave it, I can leave it like this, okay? But I'm not going to leave it like this. Let just remove it. So you can add your you can add your text effects. You can choose for many text effects that you like here, okay? Also, if you come to this template section, you will see various templates that you can choose from, as you can see, so any template you select, if you just hover your course over it, you see what the particular templates will actually do for you. I don't use out of this I don't use any of these templates, but it's actually good if you want to quickly edit something. You want to quickly create the video and just add quick captions to it. So you can see various templates that you can choose from. So you can just play around with this, select any templates and see how it looks like on your work. If you don't like any of them, you can simply just cool up and either tab control Z or you select this. I'm just going to go back to this basic and choose this. You see, when I selected the effects for me, the original precess that I choose here, which is this one automatically removed. That's why this text is actually looking like this. What I need to do is just select this one now and you see what it looks like. I'll scroll back down and choose the glue effect again. I'm going to take this. Way to check this box. This is what it looks like now. Now, I'm done with. This is the size I want to use. I'm not going to be changing any of that in these text. So now I can go ahead and uncheck this box, okay? Now that I've unchecked this book, I can simply drag this monthly. I can drag this monthly up to the parts. So I've arranged this how I want them to be. Now I have a little I have an image of money, okay? So this bundle of money that I imported. So what I'm going to do is also drag it to the timeline and so I have this image of a bundle of money that I just imported. I'm just going to drag it to the timeline and drag it here. I just cut it. I want to bring it to the bottom here. I'll bring this down a little bit, reduce the size, and then come to remove BG, which is simply remove background. Now selects auto removal. You can see how quickly it removed the background for me. I can reduce this guess. I think this is enough. I can just add an animation to slide down. Slide up. I think slide up animation is better. So conf bottom, something like that. Now that I've done this, the next step is to add the transitions to my captions. So so you can simply just add a simple blur animation to all your captions. You don't need to do much different animations. Make sure to avoid that, okay. You might be thinking if you add, let me come to this animation tab quickly. So just tap on any of the text, any of the caption blocks and then click this animation tab. So here, you have in, you have out, we have loop, and we have animations for captions, especially for captions, okay? So you can see the animations are similar to what we have in the template and effects section, you see. See the different animations we have specifically for captions. Okay? So what I'm going to do here is just I can add a simple feeding. You can see this feeding effect. This feeding animation, rather. All right. Well, the constant streaming. Okay, if I come here, I can also add another one here. And then let's see. Alright. Well, the concept of streaming TV is Okay, so this is what we have. Now, you might be thinking here, you can just add, you know, a feed in effect, you feed in animation writer. And then when you come to the next caption, you now add typewriter. Next caption, you now add Type two. Next one, you add type one, next one you add blow writes. No, no, no, no, you don't do that. You can't be having captions that are too, too, too, you know, too flashy. Well, I mean by too flashy because the caption, you know, the caption transitions will be changing every time, and the viewers focus would most likely be on the captions instead of the content of the video. So you don't really want that. You need a balance between the captions and the video, okay? So what I'm going to do now is I can zoom this out a little bit. And you can see, as I added this animation, you see how long it is. It's almost coming to the end. I can simply just drag this. I can drag this here so that it don't really take up much of the text, okay? Alright. Well, the cost of streaming TV is. So this is how you keep adding the transitions, I mean, the animations to each of the captions, okay? So here, I can come and just Sorry, I can come here and to this second one comes to the animation tab and reduce the timing to NMC 0.3 seconds for the outs animation, I can still add a fed out animation too. I can still add the streamment. Here, I can just space it out a little bit. Let's see what it looks like first of all. All right. Well, the cost of streaming TV is going up. YouTube you can see, if you don't like this fed out animation, you can simply check for other ones. There are other beautiful animations that you can use here. So there's a slide up animation. There's this zoom in animation, so here's it. We have this song. We have the typewriter animation, too. But there are different type animations here. So you just need to scroll down and choose the one that you want. So for this video, I'm just going to be using the blow animation. I don't know why I keep calling this Blow. This fed out animation. I'm going to be using it for everything, okay? So if you notice there's no applied to all checkbooks here. If you come to this text section, you can see this apply to all here, but it's not here in the animation. So if you want to save time and, you know, you want to add the same animation to every to every text to every of the caption blocks, okay? So what you just need to do is to zoom out or zoom in then you simply just place your curso outside this outside the whole caption box here. Outside the whole captions, this whole video clip here, put it outside here. Then you let's click hold and drag to select everything. Okay? So let's click hold and drag to select everything here, all the captions. Great. Now I can come to the animation section, and let me zoom out so that you see what I'm going to do. You see it's in action. So here, I'm going to add a fading animation. So you can see that it's added for every text block. You can see. It's added for every thing. So yeah, I can still reduce the size of the fading, the length rather, and I can come here to the out section and choose the fade out. Okay? So once I choose this, I can leave it somewhere around here. So let me see what this looks like, first of all. Let's see what this looks like now. Alright? Well, the cost of streaming TV is going up. YouTube TV is raising the price for its monthly subscription. This really booms me out. And it's raising the question this is perfect. This is perfect. Very, very simple. It's something you can get done within a minute, okay. So make sure you select everything. Then you go to the animation stab, add an in animation and add an out animation, okay? So for this general part, I think I don't need to I've not added an animation yet. I'll just come to this animation part. I'm going to add a slide down animation, a slide down animation. I want this. I want this. Anyway, Great. You can see what just happened. So I'm going to come here for the out animation. I think this dissolve this dissolve, okay? Five. Okay, it's okay, but I will choose this slide up. Five. Now, if you want to select or highlight each text as it's being spoken by the speaker, this is how you do it. So let me use this part to illustrate what I mean. If you want this monthly. Monthly subscription cost. I want to make this monthly now to be highlighted green or yellow when the voiceover actually says monthly. And when it says subscription, I want the subscription to be highlighted, okay, to be highlighted with yellow colo. And then when it gets to this cost, I want it to be highlighted with yellow colo, too. So how do I do that? First of all, you know, this is where the monthly starts. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to come to where the subscription starts too. I'm going to split this monthly, okay? So I'm going to split this monthly so that I have this text block here, this one. Now I'm going to come here to this to the settings here, I'm going to change the color to yellow, bright yellow. Bright yellow. This color is looking somehow. Okay, bright yellow here. Okay, this is better, right? Monthly subscription cost? I forgot to uncheck this box, so I'm just going to ContrZ Cont Z. Then uncheck this apply to all box. Then I'm going to come here. Hold on. 25. The monthly subscription cost. Alright, so I'm going to come here to this monthly, change the color to this bright yellow. Bright yellow. Great. So you can see. Then here, I'm going to change I'm going to split this subscription here where this cost begins. So I'm going to change this one to bright yellow, too, the same color. Great. And then where this cost starts, I'm just going to change it to bright yellow, too. Going to change this cost to bright yellow. Bright yellow. So let's see what we have here now. The monthly subscription cost is going up. You can see the monthly subscription cost is going up. You see what just happened. So when the monthly was spoken, it became yellow. Okay? So when you go to the tone for the subscription, you see that it mostly became white back, okay? It mostly became white again, and the subscription came as yellow. Then if I bring it to this cost part, you see that everything has become white, and then this cost is the only one that is highlighted in yellow, okay? So that's how you do it. If you want to do it for it takes block like this one, let me bring it to this one. So it's going up up from seven Oh, let me use this part. Let me look for something else. YouTube TV says. YouTube TV says. Okay, great. So if you want to highlight the YouTube TV says one by one, all we need to do is we need to play this festival. YouTube T. So where the YouTube stops. We make sure we bring the caso there. So let me just play it again and get where the YouTube stops and where the YouTube stops and the TV starts, okay in the voiceover. So Tu. YouTube Tee. I think it starts around here, so I'm just going to spit the captions here. I'm going to spitze caption here. This caption box, I'm going to split it here. Then I'm going to come forward again. TV I think the C around here. So I'm going to split it. Going to split it here. Great. So what I'm going to do now is simply to come to this part. This is for the YouTube. This one is for the TV, and this one is for the Ss, okay? So for this part for the TV, I'm going for the YouTube rather, I'm going to come here and I'm going to highlight only the YouTube, okay? Only this YouTube, then scroll down a bit. Scroll down a bit to the color section and change it to the color that you want to highlight it with. In this case, I'm going to highlight this with yellow, okay? Which highlight this with yellow. Then if I come here, you can see what. See. See that this YouTube is costly highlighted in yellow, right? So I'm going to move forward to this TV section, and I'm going to highlight only the only this TV. Then I'm going to change the color to yellow. Okay? Great. I'm going to come to the parts for the Cs I'm going to highlight the Ss going to highlight this Ss only and change the color to bright yellow. That's it. It's as simple as that. Let me play it and show you what it looks like. YouTube TV says the ink. You can see what just happened. Let me bring this up. Let me zoom this out and play it. Look at it. Our hike, YouTube TV says the ink. You see. This is how you can create that highlighted effect. If you want to do this for the whole of the video, you can do it. It's just going to take your time, you have to do this for each one of the text blocks. I've done it before. I've done it before. It will take time. Video editing takes a lot of time, right? So you can do it if you want to do each of them like this one. For this due to rising, all I need to do is just play it when the du is spoken and the two is about to start. I'm just going to stop it and split it right there. Then when the two is spoken and the rising is about to be spoken, then I'm going to split this day and do the same thing, highlights, change color, highlights, change color. And yeah, it's as simple as that. So this is how you add you edit your caption. You know, you add your transitions and the effects. And if you want to use a templates, this bubb section is for, like, comics. If you're creating something like, you know, you know what bubbles. I look at it. You see what I mean, right? So if you want something like this in your video, you can easily just speak from this section, and I've never had to use any of them, but they exist here, okay? So this is all that I need to do for this caption. This is everything I need to do. If you want to add any other animation, remember, you can also key frame it. Okay? You can key frame your caption. If there is some kind of animation that you want to create that is not available, you can easily just keyframe it. Like this caption now, invest This investment, if I want it to come from up to down, I can easily just come to the frontier and I'm going to add a keyframe I'm going to add the key frame to the position to the position, okay? So I'm going to add the key frame to the position, and I'm going to move it on the y axis. Just move it to the top here. Move it to the top here, and then I'm going to come forward to the end here. Way to come forward. And add another key frame or just drag it down. Where is it? I can't see it. Okay? So I'm going to drag this down now to the part. So let's split it num and see. In investments in service call. You see? You see the way it came up. It's came down from up. So I'm just letting you know that you can actually use this effect if you want to use it so contuse to remove the key frames. So that's not all. When you highlight your text, let me look for the YouTube TV part. I think this is it. Yeah. So this YouTube TV so when you highlight your text, what you want to do here is also to increase the size. So you can see the parts that YouTube, this YouTube part when you change the color, when you highlight this festival, you change the color, then you can increase the font size. By two units. You can increase this phone size 6-8. So what it looks like now. So what it looks like. Then when you come to this TV path, you simply highlight this TV and you change it to eight to change it to eight. So what it looks like. Then you come to this last part and then highlights this s and then you change it to eight. Great. So let me play. I'll show you what it looks like. Let me play it now. Okay? So, YouTube TV says the. You can see. So if you watch Alex Homos' videos, the kind of shows that he creates, you will surely see this effects. This is the phones that they use that his editors use most of the time for his shots, and they always do these highlighting effects. They will highlight each text and also increase the size so that you can, if it's something that is important that they need you to actually take note of, you can easily just highlight it and also increase the size, the same way I just did it right now. So Alright, Mike. YouTube TV says the increase. So I've added every effect and editing that I need to add to this caption section. January 13, 2025, the monthly subscription cost is going up from 70%. This part is lagging a bit, but I'm sure it's going to be better once I expose this video, okay? So for recap, you can find the effect section here. You can find the template section here, and you can find the animation section right here. If you want to add animations, you simply need to click on this and select in animation, house animation, or even this loop animation. This loop animation happens throughout the whole duration of the particular text block or the particular caption section. So I need you to just play around with this. Try it out by yourself. I can't be showing you everything right now and also try out this captions effects too. Immediately after watching this lesson, pause before you go to the next lesson, create your captions and try out everything here. You don't need to try out all the effects. I mean, all the animations. Just try in animation. Try out animation. Try a loop animation and try a caption animation. Alright, so in the next lesson, I'm going to be teaching you how you can add sound effects to your video. I'll sing you in the next lesson. 15. Sound Effects (lesson 14): There is this simple rule in video editing, and it goes like this. Complements every action in your video with a sound effect. Whever you have any kind of moving objects in your video or sort of video action. Okay, always make sure that you complement it with a sound effect. Okay? So it increases retention and it makes the video even better, right? So how do you find sound effects to add to your video? The first way you can find sound effects is by simply coming to this audio tab right here on cap codes. Once you come to this audio tab, you will see different options, different sections here, and you can see the section for music here and you can also see the section for sound effects right here. See, we have changing sound effects, we have mood, we have transitions. We have variety game, can always check out these transitions, and you can see different transitions. I mean, different sound effects that you can use for various transitions, okay? So what I'm going to do now is to play this video and see if there's any parts that, you know, I need to add the sound effects too. So I'm just going to play this for me so that it will not lag down much. All right? Well, the cost of streaming TV is going up. YouTube TV is raising the price for its monthly subscription. This really bums me out, and it's raising the question is streaming? The new cable starting January 13, 2025. So win these 2025 jobs. I'm going to add a sound effect to this, okay? Monthly subscription cost, so this monthly subscription cost, I'm going to add Whoosh sound effects to it so that you'll be like, Who here what I mean. So cost is going up from $72.99 to $82.99. That's right. A $10 hike. YouTube TV says the increase is due to rising content costs and investments in service quality. Existing subscribers will pay the current rate until January 13. What does this mean for you? I don't think consumers are going to be too happy about this increase in price. Are you considering sticking with YouTube TV or looking for alternatives? Let me know in the comments. Don't forget to like, share and subscribe for more update. Okay, so I don't think I need any other sound effects, apart from the one for the YouTube TV and the other one. So what I'm going to do is just to come to Capcot and the first part is the 2024, right? This is it here. Great. So I can add something like a coin, a dropping coin. So I can come here to this sage bar and just tap it and search coin, ok? So coin, let's see what is going to bring up for me. And let's see. No, I'm going to use this one, though. I'm going to use this all so let me just drag it to the timeline somewhere on the timeline. But I need something different. Okay, so I have this sound effects. I'm going to drag it here to the bottom of the 2024, and let's see what it sounds like.teen, 2025. The monthly January 13, 2020. So let me drag this bits forward?teen 2025. The monthly January 13, 2025. Okay, so I can I can reduce the size of the I mean, the volume of this. So it won't be that loud. 2025. The monthly subscription co January 13, 2025. Okay, so I think this is okay. I can still reduce the volume just a little bit. So it really obstructs the sound of the voice over. All right. So the next part that I want to add a sound effect to is this January part. So let me just find it here. Okay, this is it here. So Whoosh sound effect. Nice just call me and just search Wooh, right? Whoosh, let's play this one. This fast is better. This faston is better. Let me drag this so in bits. So I'll have more space. I think the monthly subscription, the monthly starts here, so I'll put the playhead there and then move this woosh sound to it. Okay? Then I'm going to go to where the subscription starts and paste the Wooh sound. I already copied it, so I'm going to come here to the cost part and I'll simply paste the woosh sound right here again. Now select this and reduce the volume, reduce the volume. Okay? So let's pat it I'll see what it looks like. The monthly subscription cost is going up from six the monthly subscription cost is good. So another place you can actually get good sound effects from if you don't want to use from Cap codes is Pixa B, right? So let me come here. I already have Pixar B opened. Just go to pixab.com and here, you simply come to the sound effects section. Okay? So just tap sound effects here and you can easily just search for different sound effects that you need. You can see S sound effects here. You can see this riser. Let me play this or let me just search for Wooh. Wooh is ready, here. Okay? So let's play this one. You see? Another popular sites where creators get their sound effects from is epidemic sound. Epidemic sound is actually a paid site. So I'm not going to be using this in this course at all. You can get your sound effects from Cap course. You can get them from Pixab's completely free. It's completely free. You can see royalty free effects. All the sound effects here are completely free and you can use them in your short video. All you need to do is just come beside anyone that you want. Come and click this download button and you can download this. Then you input it in your video. Import it on Capcos and then use it. Use this where you want to use it. Let's play this now and C. The monthly subscription cost is going up from $72.99 to $82.19. That's right. Okay, we have one sound here. We have one sound here. Where is it? I just heard one sound. I know I pited it over here. Subscription cost is going up from $72.99 to $82.19. So this is it. Let me copy this one. Well, let me just quote it monthly subscription. So let me add it here. Because this is where the money actually enters. The money that I added to this part, so let me paste it here and see how it's going to sound like. I'll just reduce the volume. And yeah. Monthly subscription cost is going up from I think that's good enough, okay? I think that's okay. That's okay. Pre subscription cost is going up from $72.99. So it's very easy. For recap, you can come to this audio section and simply come to this sound effects subsection and search for whatever sound effects you want, right? Or you simply go to pixab.com and you search and download and impose the sound effects that you need, right? So I'm going to sing in the next lesson next less I'm going to be showing you where you can download music and how you can add your music to your video. See you in the next lesson. 16. Adding Music (lesson 15): This lesson, I'm going to be showing you where to get copyright free music to use in your video. You can see that I've already added music to my video already. Let me just play it so that you can hear what it sounds like. Let's play this. Alright. Well, the cost of streaming TV is going. YouTube TV is raising the price. It's a monthly subscription. This really bumps me and it's raising the question. Is streaming streaming. Think consumers are going to be too happy about this increase in price. Are you considering sticking with YouTube TV or looking for alternatives? Let me know in the comments. Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe for more updates. So that set, you're going to see. And yeah, I got this music directly from Capcde. Okay? And this is the first piece that you can actually get to your music um, you just need to come to this audio tab here. You tap this audio tab and you can see music here. And see different categories of music here, see them here. So the sound effects tab is still here. And yeah, you can just come here and search. Can came and search for any kind of music you want. If you want the background music, you simply search background. If you search background music, you will get different music that you can use in your video, okay? And then you can simply you can pleas by tapping on needs, okay? And. Like that. And if you want to use the music, you simply just left click on it and you drag it to your timeline as simple as that, right? So you left click it and drag it to your timeline and use it in your video. So for this music that you can get from Capcde, you don't really have to worry about copy copyright infringement, okay, or copyright strike because this music is actually, you know, suitable for TikTok, most especially because Capot and TikTok are, you know, they have some sort of partnership. So it's very suited for TikTok. And probably YouTube. Okay. But just to be on the safer side, whenever you add your music to your video, let me muse this one now and just leave this one that I go from cap coord. Make sure you use this copyright check too. You can see it here, right here. If you tap this copyright check, you can see what it does. And then you simply click this button. And because the video is less than 10 minutes, you can run a copyright check. But if I decide to just leave this one, this audio, you see now it's 2 minutes long because of this audio, can leave it can just cause the side. And yeah, the video now is one minutes and 4 seconds long. Now I can run this copyright check by clicking this button to start checking it. It's as simple as that. If your video is now up to 1 minute, all you need to do is just extend your audio, okay? You extend your audio or you just add some more elements, you know, to make it get to the 1 minute mark so that you can run a copyright check on it, right? So this copyright check will make sure that your video is suitable for Tik Tok, you know, so that Tik Tok won't mute the audio, right? So let's just wait for this to finish. Alright, you can see copyrights check pass. So that's it. Calf code is just the first place that you can actually get your music from. And the second free platform that you can actually get copyright free music from is none other than YouTube audio library. So let me show you now. So this is YouTube audio library, as you can see. There are different music here that you can use, even sound effects, and all of them are copyright free. They are provided to you by YouTube itself. Okay? So I don't really like this YouTube, this YouTube audio library. I don't really like it because, you know, most of the music here I know really. It's very, very hard to actually get the kind of music I want to my videos. Also get the music I actually like. You understand when you start using it, okay? So most of it are, you know, this country outdated kind of music that's here, okay? But it might still suit a particular video that you might be working on in the future. So it's good to just know that it exists. If you want to access it, you can simply if you have YouTube channel, you can simply go to your studio YouTube studio, studio.youtube.com and then when you scroll down, you see this side panel when you scroll down, you will see this button for audio library. So you click it and you'll be able to access it. So it's as simple as that. Now, the third site. I should have said this 1 second because it's way better than this YouTube audio library. And this is the Pixa B. The same PixaB that we got this sound effects from, you can also use it to get copyright free music. And all we have to do is just click this dropdown and then select music. Okay. So once you select music, you can start searching, let's say, Bargon music, free Bgund music, and you can see 84,000 free Bgone music for you to choose from. That's a lot. Okay, that's a lot and you can keep scrolling down and going to the next page. And when you find music that you want, you simply click this download button and use it. Now, take notes. Even though it doesn't really matter for shorts videos, but if you are going to use music from this Pixab probably for a long form video, then don't download any music that has this content ID thing beside it. Where is it? I can't find it here. Okay. Let me just look for any music. Once you see this symbol beside the music, don't bother downloading it because your video usually gets a copyright strike. Make sure that you don't download any music that has this symbol beside it. The funny thing about this Pixab I've been getting music from this Pixab. Even though the music doesn't have this contents ID symbol beside it, my video will still gets not every time boss happened often times, okay? My video still gets a copyright strike. I'm talking about long form videos now, okay? So this is just something that you need to know. Most of the music here on Pix ab are not actually copyright free, but they are safe for you to use in your YouTube shots or your Instagram review, your TikTok video, okay? The reason for that is because the copyright rule for long form videos is different for that in short form videos, okay? Now, let's talk about YouTube. If you use a copyrighted music in your long form video, any money that your video makes, if your channel is monetized will not be paid to you. The money will be paid the money will be paid to the owner of the music, and that's why you need to be careful. I know we're not talking about short videos yet. This entire course is about shows videos, but this is still something that you should know as a creator. So for shorts videos, it is quite different. Now, a percentage of the earnings that that shows video would make however small, however big would be paid to the label, okay, to the music label. Let's put it like that in simple times. Be paid to the music label, W you also make a small percentage also of the revenue that that shows video would be making. So Shorts videos, one of the I think the only downside apart from the fact that you'll be sharing revenue with the label that actually owns the music is that most of the music must be able to must be playing in Russian countries. Okay, I've noticed this. So whenever you use whenever you upload the shorts that has copyrighted music, they will tell you they won't tell you that the video. I mean, the video won't be monetized. You only say that this video will be restricted in some regions. And the only region that you see there is Russia. I don't know why. Don't ask me. I don't know why. They are putting this restriction. I don't know if you go to pun there, but you got this here. That's it. You can get some music. You can get any music that you need here. Just search for it and play it to see if you like it, you simply download it and use it in your shows video. Once you download it, you simply impose it on Capcde and then you run your copyright checks to make sure that it's safe for sick talk. Then you can expose your video and then what to do next. Now the next side that you can actually get copyright free music for free is youtube.com. Now if you go to youtube.com, all you need to do is to search now copyright sounds and you see this channel, NCS. It's a very popular channel that uploads copyright free music almost every day. You can see. If I click this channel and I just come to the videos, you can see different copyright free music. All you need to do is just to come here. A music after playing it, if you like the music, all you need to do is just to tap this she boards in you copy the link and then you go to pla dot IU. Remember that sites that we used to download YouTube videos. I'm going to include the link in the PDF that you're going to get. The PDF is going to be in the project section. I guess, if you are watching this video on Skillshare, to be in the project section, if you are watching it on UDM, you find somewhere. Okay, the last video of this course will show you exactly where to find the PDF. So the PDF is very important for you because you're going to contain all the resources that I'm giving you for free as a student of this course, right? So you simply copy the link and you paste it on plat IU. You download it as an MP four. Let's do that now, okay? There's a way you can download the YouTube video as an MP three file instead of just MP four. So let's just paste this link here and we'll verify this ASAP, verify this ASAP and wait a bit. So it actually turns out that Pola IU doesn't have this option to download as P three. So let me check safe from Okay, safe I hope this site is still working. I was using this before. Okay? So you don't really have to go through all the stress of searching for, you know, trying poplars IO and trying this one. I'm going to include the link to any working site that you can actually download your video as an MP four and also download as P three. Okay? So right, yeah. I think this is YouTube to P three. If I click this, okay, YouTube to P three now. I click this and paste the YouTube video link here and then start Great. Get link. Converting then download. You can see it's an MP three file. Let me download this so that you can see it's good. Download. I've got the music in my storage as simple as that. If you want your music from NCS, you simply copy the link to the video, you come to save just save from dot FO. This is the site. Once you come here, you see YouTube to MP four. This is YouTube. If you want to download it as video format, and if you want to download it as an audio format, then you simply click this and it to change to this. You page the NIK and you and you tap Start, right? And it's as simple as that. So there was a time this site wasn't actually working, and that's why I stopped using it. This is a site I used to use before. Then I had to switch to pobla dot IO. Okay? So if in the future, this site stops working, what you need to do is simply to come to you know, you go to your Google brows google.com and then you search YouTube, YouTube, NPT, download. Search YouTube NPT, download. YouTube NPT, downloa and you see different sites that you can actually use. So just choose one and use it to work, right? So that's it. The last sites that you can actually get your audio from, and this one is not free. Even though I'm supposed to be mentioning this because I actually want you to be getting everything that you'll be using in this course for free. But this site is very important. It's a very, very popular site, and it's called Epidemic Sound. Okay, so this subscription is about $10 per month, but I would say it's the best in the market. Every music, you don't have to worry about copyright at all. Any music you get, you'll be able to use in any of your videos, shows videos, long form videos, and you won't have any problem at all. Unlike going to Pixab and then when you download your music, thinking it's copyright free, you upload it on YouTube, and then you get a copyright strike. So it's different from that, but if you can't afford or you don't want to pay for epidemic sound, you can simply just search Epidemic Sound on Google in order to get the site. If you want to check out the site. If you don't want to pay for epidemic sound, these three sites that I've shown you are enough, including cap Code itself. You can get good, very good music from Cap court. You can get from Pixel B. You can get from audio from YouTube Studio. You can get from new copyright sound. So you have options. So you don't really need to subscribe for epidemic sound if you are not a full time conde creator, you're not really there's no use, to be honest. There's no use but I'm just letting you know that it is the best, and you can actually get epidemic sound for a lot lesser than that $10 per month. I'm going to include I'm going to include a link in the PDF, too so once you click that link, I will direct you to a place that you can actually get this epidemic sound, for a very, you know, subsidized rate, right? So that's it for this video. Let's go back to cap codes, first of all, and then you can see. So this is the music I added first before I then added this breaking news background. I want to know which one you actually think is better. In January 13, 2025, the monthly subscription cost is going up from $72.99 to $82. The music is kind of upbeat. You might have heard something like this before because this music sounds very familiar to me. I don't know why. It sounds very familiar to me, but that's it. Which one do you think is better? You don't need to tell me, I don't know, select anyone that is better between this one and this breaking news background that I added last. Now, this stage of actually adding music to your video, it looks very easy, right? But it's one of the most time consuming parts of video editing. Why? It's not easy to choose music. I'm telling you this for free. It's not easy to choose. Sometimes I can spend up to 30 minutes just playing music one after the other I play and I try to decide which one should I use for my video. So that's why I actually had to make my selection phase before starting this recording. Okay? Because if I say, let me start selecting music while recording this video, it would actually take a long time. And I don't want this lesson to be that long. But here's a zip. Whenever you play music and you think it's a good piece for a video, don't think twice, okay? Don't go and play another one. Just use it. Use it in your video, download it and use it in your video. Because if you decide to play another down one, you think that one is better, and then you start trying to decide between the two. And then you see let me check another one, and then you start getting stuck in this kind of circle of, you know, this repeating, play one, play another down, play another down, and then you'll be able to decide. Let's avoid that, especially if you are creating, you know, um, multiple multiple shots contents for probably a client or for your own self in order to save time, whenever you find music that you think is a good fit, just use it immediately, right? So that's it for this lesson, I will see you in the next lesson. And the next lesson, I'm going to be showing you how you can export your video because we are done with this already, and the next stage, the next thing we need to do is to export this video and then compress it in the next lesson. So I'm going to be showing you exactly how you can do this in the right way, see you in the next lesson. 17. Exporting Your Video (lesson 16): First of all, I want to congratulate you for making it this far in this course. Congratulations, congratulations, congratulations, congratulations. We are now about to export this shorts video that we've created in this course. How do we do that? All we need to do is simply to come to this expose bots in here. You can see this expose bots in here or you simply come here to menu you click FL, and then you see the option to expose video. So this one is easier, obviously. So just click this Expose butts in and then you will see this interface, right? So the first thing you need to do is to name this. You need to name this, right? So, give it a name that is related to your video. Now, if you are working on a long form content or even short form content for YouTube, the name of your video, name of your video file will actually help improve the discoverability of your video, right? So make sure you name it. For this one, I'll simply name it YouTube. TV prize hike. Okay? So if you don't name it, you might be seeing random numbers here, make sure that you name it. It also helps you to easily find the video in your file manager. It doesn't take time. So name your video. I mean, rename your video, okay? And then for the exports location, it's always advisable you create a specific folder for your videos for the videos that you edit. Okay, so for me, I have a folder. I simply name this edited, okay? So it's my videos folder, and I created a sub folder under my videos folder, my PC, and I name this edited. So any video I edit will go directly into the edited folder, as you can see, so I don't need to change it here. And then for this cap codes watermark, make sure you turn it off. Turn it off if you can. I don't know when you're going to be watching this course I Capco to say allow you to turn this off for free, or if they will ask you to upgrade to P. But anyways, I can turn off, make sure you tune it off so that you don't have that annoying Capcde watermark anywhere in your short video. We have this box here that we can check and we can also check. We also have this audio. We have different options. Now, if this option is checked, this means that you are exporting only the video file. Okay, so you're exporting only the video file. But if this audio is also checked, it's also going to export a separate audio only file. So make sure you uncheck this box because there's nothing you are using the audio only file to do. The only scenario when you might be needing this is if you want to expose the audio first ofal and you want to let's say you want clean it in Adobe podcast or you want to or you want to use vocal isolator in 11 labs or say you just want to do something with the audio. You want to edit the audio. You want to mix it and master it or something like that. Then you can just uncheck this box here, and you check this audio only box, and it's going to expose only the audio for you in MP three format, right? So we don't need the audio, so I'm going to uncheck this box. And you can see this exposed GIF here. If you want to expose the video as a GIF, you know what a GIF is like a video format that they use for mimes. It's like loops, right? So we don't need this at all. We don't need this at all. But if you're creating something like Mm contents, if you're creating a GIF specifically, then you can check this book here, and it's going to expose your video as a GIF also. And then we have these captions now. So these captions basically expose the captions that auto generated the captions that you edited in your video. So it's going to expose it as an SLC file and you can also expose it as a SEC Cfle. So these captions, you can upload it on YouTube. So once you've uploaded your video, there's a section for captions. You can also upload this to help. It's also help the discoverability of your video the SO two, and it help sometimes YouTube captions by nodes be accurate. Okay, YouTube captions might not be so accurate. But since you've already edited your captions right here on cap coot, you can also upload this on YouTube. But this is not necessary. If you already have your captions on the video itself, this is not necessary. So we're going to leave this unchecked. And then this check copyright butts remember we already checked for copyright before, so we don't need to turn this on. We don't need to turn this on again, okay? So let's go back to the top and check this video box here. Now for the resolution, we have different resolutions that we can choose from here. The highest is four K. Now, one ATP is the standard resolution for all videos. So it creates a balance between video quality and also video size. So if you expose your video as a four K video, you will see that the size more than doubled. It was 43 MB before, but when I increase the resolution to four k, it became 100 MB. So your video file will be very heavy. And also, your laptop, your device might not play this video. Now, if I expose this video as a four K video, and I try to play it on my laptop, I will just be seeing blank. I'll be seeing a blank screen or I might just be seeing just one frame of the video. I'll be the audio, but it won't be moving. I think that depends on the media player you're using. But generally, you might not be able to play the four k video on your laptop unless you either you use another video player, but if you upload it to YouTube, it will be playable. Okay? So four k is the highest quality, but it is not necessary to choose four K at all. If you recorded the video using your iPhone and you show as four K, fine. You can export s4k or you can just leave it as one CP. Your video quality will still be super which will still be M, okay? But if you want to choose the highest quality, then it's fine. Choose four K. But if you did not shoot as four k, you don't have no business choosing four at all. Leave your video in 18cp. Your quality will be good and the far will not be that heavy. For the code just ive it as H 0.264, leave it C and forms leave it MP four. For frame ate, now these frame rates will determine the smoothness of your video. 30 FPS, which is 30 frames per second is the standard. So it's the balanced option. The same way we have this one TB. One TP resolution and FPS is like a pay. Is standard pay for your video. Leave it one TP and leave it to 30 FPS. But if you actually shot your video using the video camera or your iPhone and you shot it at 60 frames per second, then as you can just choose this. This is the best if you actually have slow mow. Okay, so 60 frames per second is the best because it will create a fluid motion. This slow move will appear fluid, appear choppy. If you choose something like 24 FPS and you slow down your video drastically. It will become choppy. I don't know how to explain that, but it will become choppy. I just be flashing paper. It won't be fluid. If you understand it won't be fluid at all. If you have very, very slow extreme slow motion videos that you want to export, then choosing 60 FPS is the wisest decision, is the best option. But this my video is just the normal standard video. Nothing really much with just editing and no slow mo and all that. 30 FPS is the best option for me right now. And then this optical flow, if you turn it on, it's simply, increase fluidity in your video too. So if you have slow move in your video, it will make the slow move even better. Even if you choose TTC FPSEA and you turn on this obstacle flow, it's going to make sure that that's slow more in your video or your video overall is fluid and cinematic. So I think I've explained everything and I've selected everything that needs to be selected. Now, we have this Edits cover. If you tap this edits cover, what it's going to do is you can add something like a Tom nail. You know what a Tom nail is? A Tmnail is what the viewer will see before it starts playing your video. It's basically the first screen in your video. It's basically the first frame of your video. You see now, this is the first frame in my video, and that's why it chose I chose this as the cover. Now, if you open up this, if you tap the Eds boards, you'll be greeted with this interface where you can actually upload. You can design a Tom Neil on Cava and upload it here and just replace it. You can see this replace boards here simply type replace here, you can select from the video. You can select a frame, a particular frame in the video. Let's say I want this Let me look for something. Let me look for, Let me choose this one here. Okay? So I can choose this particular frame in my video. Okay, great. I can choose this particular frame in my video to be the Thumbnail. Now that I've chosen this, the cover of my video that without playing this video, this is what should be seen as the cover, basically like a thumbnail. Okay? So I can just click this save button here and then it will replace the cover of this video. As you can see. So there are different other options that you can you can see the collage. If you have a brand kid. I don't know if this is a free feature. This should be pro. So if you siting this is a proof feature I've never had to use any of these before. You have the shapes, you have design. You can simply create a cover by yourself on CaCl. But the better option is just use Canva. Use Canva and when you I done designing your Tm nail on Canva. All you need to do is to come here to your video, and let me drag this up a little bit. So once you come to your video and then you zoom in, you zoom in, all you can do here is what you can come here, select this, change your select RS word, then you select everything, right? Or you simply just tap Control A. Now, you're going to drag this you drag everything to the right just a little bit. Make sure that this is on the max. This zoom panel, this Zoom two is in the max where it is maxed out. Make sure it's maxed out. Then you come here and then you add, let's say, I want to add a particular picture as a Tom nail. Let me just import the picture now or let me choose one from here. I have this image of myself and I want to use it as a Tom nail. What I'm going to do is just drag it here to the bottom. First of all, I'm going to use this cause. Let me wait for it to load. Okay, great. I'm going to use this picture and then just make sure it's one frame. You can see this white sin that showing. I can't cause this picture folder. Make it one frame and drag it down to the front of your video. Once you do that and you start zooming out, you can see that becomes very, very tiny, very, very tiny. Now, if I put my playhead here, if I put my playhead there, you can see the image. But if I play, all right, what it come? It won't really shoe I won't resue. Why? Because the duration is very short. This is the way that you can actually add the thumbnail to your video. And why is this important? This is because if you're uploading to YouTube shows, YouTube show does not have a feature for you to upload the custom Tumnil. For YouTube shows, you have to pick a particular frame in your video to use as a thumbnail. So if you create a custom Tumnil by yourself, you need to edit it into the video manually. Okay, you have to edit this in your video editing software, and this is what I just did right now. You do it this way you increase you zoom out to the max, and then you add the Tom nail. You case it to the barest minimum, which is just one frame, okay? You quote it, and then you place it at the beginning of the video. Okay? So it's going to serve as a thumbnail. When you are uploading your video on YouTube, you'll be able to choose this particular frame as your Thumbnail, right? So that's it, let me delete this. I don't want it to be in my video at all. Great. So once you've added your Tom N, let's go back to this exports now, and then I will change this to YouTube TV Prize, YouTube TV, Sub price price hike, grades. Now I can click this Exports button and wait for it to be exported. So it's as simple as this very, very easy. So in the next lesson, I'm good to be showing you how you can compress your video in order to reduce the size, especially if the video you exported is very heavy. Let's say, like one gig or Sobots no matter what after editing your video, you should compress it in order to reduce the size. So it's going to save space on your system. It's going to make sure that whenever you're uploading your video, whoever plats from whether YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, is going to upload this faster, and it's also going to save you data. So I will see you in the next lesson. 18. Compressing Your Video and Outro: Back. In this lesson, I'm going to be showing you how you can compress your video. Compressing is basically reducing the size of the video without losing quality, very important without losing video quality. You can see this video. Now if I just hover my cross over it, you'll see that the video is I don't know why it's not showing. You can see that it's 47.4 MB. I can still reduce this folder and I'm going to do that now. The tool that I use for this is called handbrake. So handbreak is a very popular tool for compressing videos, and you can easily get it by going to your chrome and your browser rather and just search handbreak download, if you're using a Windows PC, just add for Windows. If you're using the MacBook, you add for MacBook. So once you search, you can see this download button everywhere around. It's just can click the First results and it's going to redirect you to a site where you can download this, okay? So here we have different options. If you're using Line Look, so you can see the directions to install this the links that I need to click, yeah, you are using the Windows PC, you can just click this first one. Don't no need to download this portable zip one. Just click this first option and MicrowsT is the option for Microwa so you can download it here. So for the Window space, I'm using the Windows PC, I can just click this button and it's going to start downloading the Installer. So once the Installer has been downloaded, what I need to do is just to double click it and that's been downloaded completely. I already have handbak though. You can see here. I already have handbak. But to install it all you need to do is just double click it and it's going to open up the installer for you. So just click Yes and then follow the prompts. It's very easy to install. Just follow the prompts and you'll be able to install handbik on your PC, right? So I'm not going to be doing this because I already have in, and I will just be launching the software right now. So let's wait for you to launch. This is hand brick, as you can see, this is the hand brick window. It is very easy to use. It's very, very easy to use. So if you want to compress your video. All you need to do is to click this file. You can see these open video files, or you simply open up your file manager, and then you drag and drop. So I can just drag this video here and drop it here. Also, if you want to compress multiple videos at the same time, let's say you've been editing different shots, I want to compress everything at the same time, you can easily just create the folder and then you add those videos there, then you drag the folder. You can see folder batch scan. You can just click this button here, let's say button. This section here though, just takes here. Once you click here, you'll be able to select the folder and then it's going to compress all the videos in the folder or you simply just drag and drop the folder here. So let's not really talk too much here just to more of action. So I'm just going to drag this and drop it here. And yeah, it has scanned it. Now, the next thing you need to do is to click this button, this save new preset button. Once you click this, you'll be presented with a window to add preset. Here, I'm just going to name it short video. Name it shows videos, and then here, we're going to come to this part here, this resolution image. This is where we need to change. If we click this now, we're going to change it to custom. Custom normally we're compressing a long form video, then leaving it here as 18 piece, actually, okay. But the problem is, let me show you. If I click this custom now, you will see that the values here are 1920 by 1080. So this size is for long form videos, it's the 169 aspect ratio like my full screen right now. You wave YouTube videos. But our show's video is actually 916, if you remember, it's 916 like a mobile screen. So we're meant to swap this. I was supposed to put 1080 year, and then we put 1920. So that's what you do. Once you click this custom, you change the 1928 to 1080 and you change the 1088 to 1920. You simply it. If you don't do this, the video you are going to be exporting will be in this form. I mean, the video you compress as the result of your compression would be in this format to have a black border. We don't want our video to come out clean a 916 video. The way we exported it from Capcde. Yeah, we're just going to click this ad button and it's going to add the preset, as you can see, we're currently using the shorts videos preset. If you come here, you can see that the size 1080 by 1920. Look at it here. So here you can see this web optimized bots. Check it, okay? So once you check it, it's going to optimize your video in such a way that it is going to be playable on the website. Okay? So if you just out of this bots, you can see optimize MP four for progressive download. After encoding, data is reorganized and rewritten to allow immediate playback over a network without needing to download the entire file. This simply means that, you know, for streaming sites like YouTube or TikTok, you can easily just play it, without having it saves data. It saves data. So just make you check this, okay? You check this. And then what you need to do is simply to click this starts code as simple as that. So the next thing you need to do is to come here to the bottom and you click this browse, okay? You click this brows and you choose a folder or you simply create a new folder where all your compressed videos are going to be stored. That's what I did for my. You can see in my videos folder, I have a sub folder named compressed hand break, and this is where all my compressed videos are stored. So once you click this browse, you simply create a new folder and then you select it. Okay? If you don't have to do that, it's very, very easy. Once you come, you say I'm in compressed handbek already. So I can simply click anywhere. I'm going to write click A and then see this new. Then come to folder and then I'll name the folder. It's as easy as that. It's as easy as that. Let me delete this folder. Let me delete this folder. Yeah, so hold on. Let me create this folder again. Let me create this folder again. New folder. And then once you've created your folder, make sure that you click it to make sure you click it and make sure you're inside this folder before you click this save button, right? So it's very important to do that. So if you don't do that, it's going to save the video outside here in compressed handbrake or in videos in your case. So whenever you create a new folder, make sure that you click it and enter the folder before actually saving it. So once you've done that, you've already selected the path where the video is going to be saved. All you need to do is also come to the top here and click Start code. So this will start the compression, and you can look at the progress here. You can watch the progress so you can see this percentage is here. So once this bar is full, it's fully blue, and the percentage is 100%. That means the compression has been completed. Then you can go to the folder you created and you will find your compressed video. So I'm just going to pause this recording until this compression is done. So you can see now that it has finished already, Q finished. The video has been compressed successfully. Now let's go find it. This is the folder here, compressed handbrake and the video, this is it. Let me play the video now so that we can see the result. Alright. Well, the cost of streaming TV is going up. YouTube TV is raising the price for its monthly subscription. This really bums me out. And it's raising the question is streaming the new table. Starting January 13, 2025, the monthly subscription cost is going up from $72.99 to $82.99. That's right. A $10 hike. YouTube TV says the increase is due to rising content costs in investments and service quality. Existing subscribers will pay the current rate until January 13. So what does this mean for you? Think consumers are going to be too happy about this increase in price. Are you considering sticking with YouTube TV or looking for alternatives? Let me know in the comments. Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe for more updates. Wow, wow. Wow, this is beautiful. This is beautiful. Everything we've been working on from the start of this course to the end right now, this is the result and I love it. I love this, I love this, I love this. I love this. That you must have noticed the difference in the January 10 text. This one, let me show you. This monthly subscription course, you can see, when I was creating this caption on this part, I did not sets like this. I did not rotate it at all. But later I thought of adding these do and how I added this is very, very easy. Let me show you now just in case you're wondering. So here on cap codes, you can see, this is the text. This is the parts where the text is the caption. If I put this so I mean, the playhead here and I tap this monthly now. You notice two keyframes. You can see one keyframe at the beginning of the monthly and another keyframe at the end of this caption block. What I did here is simple. I added a keyframe at the beginning and I left, I just added a keyframe at the beginning and I did not send. Then I added a keyframe as the end and then I rotated it just five degrees. I think minus five or five though, either of the two. Let's check. Um, Hold on. Yeah, I transform in this transform section, here you scroll down a bit. You see position and then you see plain rotation. So if I tap this keyframe now, if I bring it, you see that I put it in minus five. I put this in minus five so that it will create the effects of the monthly actually bending. You see if you watch this place us. Then for the subscription, I also did the same thing essentially. But instead of minus five here, I put it in five, so that's going to rotate the other way. Basically, that's how I did it for every one of them. I did it for the cost, so as you can see. It's very, very easy as long as you know how to use keyframes, you can basically do any animation you want, not a kind of cartoon animation. I don't mean that kind of umber. You can basically move anything around the screen. You can make any move in your video as long as you know how to use keyframes. That's it. What else do I need to show you. Nothing else. I did a couple of changes so just this part, this O path I made it fill up the screen instead of just being in 69 ratio. That's it. And I want to congratulate you for coming this far. For now, this is going to be the last course. I mean, the last lesson in this course. Okay? So you are basically done. You are basically done. The next video is going to be the video on how to complete your projects. And I think I might be adding that one. Instead of adding to the last instead of making the last lesson, I might be and I think instead of making it the last lesson, I might just make it the first or second lesson so that you know what your project is from the start. Okay, but just bear in mind that this is not the last video. I mean, it's the last for now, but this course is always going to be updated, okay? So whenever anything new, any new editing trick or train or something, a new feature comes up that I feel is relevant to this course. I'm going to make a video, and I'm going to arts? So the course will constantly be updated. And if you want to be alerted, whenever I upload a new video to this course, make sure that you are in the announcement group. The link is going to be in that PDF file that you're going to receive after completing this course. Okay? So make sure that you watch the project's video. It's very, very important. Very, very important so that you can join our community and connect with other video editors that have gone through this course and also gets freebies. You get freebies, free resources for video editing, and also you will get access to and lastly, if you need Cap Codes Pro, if you're editing and you need Cap Code P, so that you can use the pro features of Cap Code, then when you join the committee or even the api Defer, you see a link where you can actually get Cap Cost Pro for as low as $5 for three months. That's amazing, right? I mean, it's unbelievable. Cabot subscription is about I think it's $20 per month now. The full subscription, not the standard plans $20 per month now. But you can actually get that same plan for $5 a three months. Okay, so make sure that you check the PDF and the link to that with the day and every other resources that you need, and I'm gifting you for completing this course. So my name is Michael also Michael, popularly known as Blueprint and congratulations once again. See you at the other side.
