1. Introduction to Video Vision Board Course: Hi, I'm Shira, and I'm so excited to invite you to take this course about making a Video Vision Board. I am a mama, a maker, a creative soul, and a craft czar. I have done so many creative things over the course of my career. They include baking, Minecraft shows, silk screening, making crayon lipstick, as well as even some courses on making things just using your hands. In this class, you will learn how to search images, how to apply text slides, as well as merge images with music in order to put it altogether to create a dynamic Video Vision Board. This course is for creatives, for moms, for anyone who's feeling stuck and needs a way to get things Moving, get unstuck, any overachiever, even or a life changer, anyone who has a dream to do more with their lie. Your class project will include making three slides for your video vision board. I'm so excited to present this class to you and to help you make a Video Vision Board. So let's get started. 2. Video Vision Board Lesson 1: Why do you need a video vision board?: Hello and welcome back to Video Vision Board Course. So this lesson is just talking about like, why do you need a video vision board? And first, I'm going to talk about why a vision board in general is good for just achieving life goals in general. So you may have remember, when the secret was out. It was a book, it was a movie, but it basically talked about the law of attraction as well as using vision boards and affirmations and to manifest Your Life goals, dreams, things that you want. And this is a way how I use it as well. I use a vision board more to keep my goals top of mine. Because when you get caught up in just the every day to do's of life, just kinda going through your routine. A lot of times you can forget, like, oh wait, I have this goal that is, that I want to keep ahead of me that I want to achieve. I have this career goal, I have this creative Goal. I have this thing that I want to get unstuck that will be knowing at you that wanting, that longing, that thing that you want to achieve in your core self will be nine at you and really giving you some life dissatisfaction if you are not working toward that goal. However, what happens? You get caught up in for me, I will talk about me. For me it was I was caught up in like, okay, I'm newly married. I have to fix up this house. I have to make it a home. Oh, now we're getting pregnant. Like all of these things, good things mind you, good things kinda get in the mix and you can't focus fully your attention or energy toward achieving those life goals that you may have in the back of your mind. So what a vision board does is bring those things that you want, the things that you want to achieve into your forefront. Every time you look at that board, you remember like, okay, right, This is what I'm working toward. So somewhere in your subconscious mind, your, your goals are being like you're turning your way toward those goals. You might have your ear peak to like, Oh, I just, because I'm focused on making this, now I found a course that works toward that goal, like things like that will start to get your attention because you have this constant visual reminder of what you want to achieve in life. So from just a static Vision Board to go into a Video Vision Board. This is my concept behind that. And honestly guys, I don't see anyone else really talking about doing it this way. And if they are, I haven't found them yet. So if it's out there, I'm sorry, I haven't seen it, but for me, it works even better to make this in a video format. If I have a two-minute, five-minute, hey, even a seven-minute video to like, I can wake up, hit play, and be reminded of my goals no matter where I am, I'm not limited to wear this like this physical vision board. It's all digital. I'm not even limited to just looking at static pictures, but I can play a video that has my goals on them in visuals and words and music, just really mapping out what my goal, what my long-term goals are. Then that's like, what are you usually doing in your first 7 min? Awaken anyway, watching reals, watching YouTube shorts, checking the news, checking the weather. If I can take a few minutes of that time to make my goals top of mind than to me. That is worth it, that is worth this course here. So that is why I believe you need a video vision board. To me, it is a positive aspect of having a very good mental health practice. 3. Video Vision Board Lesson 2: Components of a Video Vision Board: So here is something I alluded to. And Lesson one about why you need a video vision board. This is the, well, what's in it? Because usually when you're making a static vision board, you cut out your pictures from magazines. Or if you're doing something online like with Pinterest, you search for images that you want to include on your Vision Board, Pinterest board. You just limit it to that. So for a Video Vision Board, you also look for images, and that's why images is listed here. But you also, you want to look for maybe some quotes, maybe some word ART, Maybe some of your own thoughts and ideas or mantras, things that you've learned along the way in life. Things that are encouraging to you and maybe you alone. Sometimes I, what I'm trying to get creatively, unstuck, get my creativity. And then there are things that I like to say to myself. Like I, I have a lot of skill and resources. I may record myself saying this or I might just make some words are that says it. And not just your own quotes, but fine quotes like there's one that floats around a lot. She something to the effect of she saw it and she did it. And I know I'm getting that wrong. But that's the kind of thing that you want include for you to look at that It's kinda interspersed between images. So you want to have images and you want to have words. And for me, I love to set it to music because I think that just adds to overall I feel an emotion of the video vision board. So let's break all of these things down. So images, here, we have a picture of a house like if there is a particular house, if you have a direct address that you want to live or a neighborhood, I would want hundred per cent. Get a little like Zillow picture or the style of house that you want, or even a map of the area that you want to live in. I would just copy paste that right into my saved images for my vision board. If you want to bake more, I would have pictures of baking. If you want to become a potter. I have pottery here. If you want to generally be creative, more craft, more handcrafts, which are kids more. You want to start embroidery, you want to, so you want to write a book, whatever that goal is, I would find some kind of pictorial representations, some kind of image representation in order to really drive that picture, that thought, that idea into your mind so that when you see it, it evokes that emotion that you are going to achieve, that, that, that is your goal, that is what you're working toward. A degree. Get a picture of the degree that you want. If it is a certain dollar amount that you want to make by the end of the year, put that dollar amount or create that dollar amount when we get to words. So let's just talk about that. Let's talk about not just images, but how words can be images as well. And I have some examples here. Some of these I found just searching for the word and different images online, but you can also just make your own Word Art. It doesn't take a whole lot of thought. There are several programs you can use where they already have something flies, something funky set up, and you erase their words, put yours in. And it doesn't have to be like these are abstract concepts here, Joy, believe, love, action, words. It can really be just as simple as Thank. If you want more ideas, just having that word, think there to help you to think around the ideas that you want to come to you Just like I mentioned before, you can have quote that either you find online there. Pinterest is full of quotes. You-all full of beautiful image Quotes, quotes done up beautifully in images. But you can also put your own. Just like I said, I am full of skills and resources. Type that up in a little. Already done for me. It's template Word program and not MS Word. I know y'all, I'm dating myself. But you want to use some kind of template to make it quick and easy. You can save it an image so that you can put it into your video vision board. So between words and images and music, this is what you're going to come up with, an order to have the most effective Video Vision Board possible. So let's talk about music. Now. You're music can be calming, happy, joyful, energetic, inspiring, or your favorite song. Maybe lean more toward instrumentals. Because I want my brain to focus on those images that I'm looking at, those quotes that I'm looking at, I wanna be able to process those things and just let the music be a lovely background that evokes emotion. So this is, this is pretty key because you want emotion. So fuel these images and these words that you are looking at on your video vision board. The emotion is like the gas, the go Jews, the, the five-hour energy, the thing really propel your goals forward, propel your subconscious minds and seek out ways to get to your goals. So that's why music is so key. That's why all of these things really work in tandem together in order to help you transform your life, achieve your goals, and really get to a place where you want to be. So for me, the music is not a throwaway. It's not just background. It is 100% a key function and helping getting that emotion and that feeling that I want to feel when I look at those images and when I consider those words, those quotes, those mantras in my video vision board. So the next step for us guys is really to figure out how to put it altogether. And that's what I'm going to show you in the next lesson. 4. Video Vison Board Lesson 3: Let's Make a Video Vision Board Together!: Let's Make a Video Vision Board Together. I'm just going to take us to Canva. And here I'm going to select video. That's going to open up the video screen. Now, once in here, you can choose different templates or you can do what I choose to do. And that is to go to the photo section in the menu bar, which is slightly cut off. So I apologize. In the search box, I choose words that are important for me to be reminded of for my Video Vision Board. So some of it is going to be creativity related. Some of it is going to be about travel or about money, but I just choose the words that I need for that particular screen. So in this one I'm choosing creativity. I love this picture of Frida Kahlo. So I'll probably grab that. As well as some others. You see there's so many selections, so many bright colors. And what you can do is just drag it and drop it right on your screen. You can hit that plus sign to add another screen. So each one is going to automatically be about 5 s long. If you like it longer or shorter, you can drag the end of it and that will give you a longer or shorter amount of time that that particular thing is on the screen. You can pause this video as many times as you need to. I'm just going through different search prompts. This one is creative quotes. And I'm just grabbing things that kinda speak to me visually, speak to my goals, and I'm dropping them into a new screen. This is how it works in Canva. If you are using Google Slides, it works very similarly. If you have some other video editing program that you prefer, then they all work in a similar way. But this is the one that I chose. I would definitely suggest looking up the simplest way to do this, because this is something that you want to just have ready go. You don't want to spend a ton of time on it. You just want to choose things that are going to speak to you, are going to prompt you into action. Because we want this to be a video that we watch like first thing in the morning, last thing at night. Just something to jog our subconscious mind to keep it focused on goals. I think I have a lot of pictures here. I'm probably going to go through and do some words as well. So what I like to do is start with a blank screen and I just go up to the little colors icon, that little square up there. I love choosing these blended colors. So I'm just going to choose a background there and then go over to the texts function and choose just, these are beautiful texts combinations that they already put together. Some of them say things that I already wants to be reminded of. So I'm going to just select a few and put them on my screen here. Now, if you'd like to change the color you can use, they don't all have to be the same color. I'm going to choose a different combination here. And if you would like to change the words that they have, that's just a matter of double-clicking the word and highlighting it so that you can put in the words that you need it to say. So this part right here is not necessarily inspirational quotes that are premade. It's just what you need as far as your goals. You can put a mantra in here. You can put just a couple of words. I'm going to choose world traveler because I would like to travel more. But if you have a favorite quote that is not listed in the photographs, that something that you can into the screen yourself. Or even say if you are working our career goals, put in the title that you're going for, putting CEO or CFO or whichever, see that you want to be. So since I'm putting in things about traveling the world, I just went to look for photographs that really spoke to me. A couple of airplanes in the air Think I can find a picture of maybe passports. There's a globe here. But again, that's just the quick five-second visual that is going to prompt my mind to work on that goal. I think I want to do some searches for money, images of money. I would like to draw more money into my life in order to do this world traveling and creative ventures. Think this works here. And I'm just going to hit this plus sign again. Maybe search for success. It's funny because you never know what Canva or whatever program you're using. You never know what those prompts are going to pull up as far as images. So I just, you know, like, what's a picture of success? Like I just put whatever I'm thinking and the search bar and just see what sort of images come up that may speak to me. Some interesting ones here. I like this quote, I am the success story. I like that. So at the bottom here you can see the timestamp. This is telling me how long my video is. So we're up to about a minute and 20 s, and I think it's time to add some music. So I just went to the audio section in Canva. You can preview the audio beforehand. Again, I like to use things that are going to draw upbeat, a positive emotion. And you just see, don't make my mistake. You want to make sure your cursor, your video cursor is all the way at the beginning of your images before you click on the music that you selected. So let's try this. I gotta move my cursor back up. And then I can click on my music. And now I have music for emotion. I have all my images. And we're ready to watch this 5. _Video Vision Board Thank you: Thank you. Thank you.
