1. Introduction: Hello and welcome to
the course on making a 3D character model
using Adobe Fuse. My name is predict proton and
I am a digital design and a general computing
specialists who has been working in the industry
for the past decade. In this course, we are
going to use Adobe Fuse, which is a 3D character
modeling application to model a character from scratch and add an animation
to it by using Adobe Mixamo, we will cover up
all the process of character modeling in
step-by-step process. So even if you are a
complete beginner, you can easily follow
along the course. So what are you waiting for? Let's start learning.
2. Starting and Preparing for Character Design: Adobe Fuse is a 3D character
design application by Adobe, which lets you choose
different body parts and then create 3D characters easily. So I'm just going
to go around and double-click on this
application right here, so that it loads up. And we'll see the interface
of the application first that we're going to
utilize to build our character. So in this course
we're going to follow up like a step-by-step process
for creating a character. So that even if you're a complete beginner in the
field of character design, you'll be able to
follow up the course. And Adobe Fuse in itself is
not a very complex software. You do not need to know advanced 3D modelling techniques or even a 3D background
in order to get started. Because this is more
like joining out premade elements and then
making adjustments to it. So this is Adobe Fuse. And if I were to go
around and expand this, then this is the
interface that you see on the left-hand side
you've got the move tool, the rotate and zoom camera to send a camera tool
for navigation. There's the modified
geometry tool, which allows you to modify different body parts right here. So what you need to do is
if you were to go around and then click out any head
right here, Let's see e.g. then it'll load up right here. Then you go around and
twos up, let's say e.g. at the body parts right here, and then start adding them out right here as you go along. And you can see that
you can make it a character that's this arm and this head as you
can see right here. But if I were to go
around onto torso, you can go round and click. Then you can see that
that torso will be added out onto the
characters like this. And you can see that it has
not really looking at great, because this is the torso of a men and this is the face
of a woman right here. But this is what we're going
to go around and utilize. We're going to use the
modification fetus over here of this application to build a complete character
from scratch. So you can go around
over here and then simply delete it as well. So you can go round,
press the delete key right here to delete out the elements right here
that you added in initially. So apart from that, there are different options
over here on the top. And when are we are
going to focus on the most important parts
so that we can go round, build up the character
from start to finish. So over here, this is what
you have and then there's the customization options that you can do for the character. You can work around the clothing and even the texture
settings right here. And over here you can see
different shaded moods. And then our S is
only obamacare as well to see the details
of the character as well. And we're going to go
around and utilize all of these tools right here to
build out a good character. And then we're also going
to export it into a Mixamo, which is a tool by
Adobe that lets you animate the character
with A's as well. So now let's go ahead and then start our
character design. And then in the next video, we're going to start
out with the head.
3. Choosing and Modifying Head: Now let's start
making our character. And over here, I already
have Adobe Fuse open up and let us go around and create a female
character, let's say e.g. here you can see that there's different characters that
you can choose from. In my case, what I'm
going to do is I'm going to choose a female head first. So first of all, we
start out with the head. So I'm just going to
go around and click on the tune female thing, the a right here. Once I click on it,
what happens is that the head will get loaded up
right here. That's like this. So now I can go around and
see that this is the head. And with one-click, It's
just popped up right here. You can go around adding torsos and everything
right here. But that is not what we're
going to focus around on. So here we have this
head right here. And now what we can do
is we can customize it. We can utilize these tools right here to pan and
zoom. Right here. We can go around, rotated, and we can go around
over here and let's say center it
out over here as well. And then we can also
select these items. But you can go around
and let's say e.g. use the move tool right
here or the selection tool right here to select
different parts right here, and click and drag these
around right here. To make some adjustment. You can go around,
click and drag these. And you can see that
you can go around, make an adjustment to
different parts right here. But this is quite ugly. So let me just go
around and undo this a few times right here, just like this, I'm
going to go around, click on Undo, and we are onto back to default right here. If we want to make changes
around to the head, then it can go around onto
customized right here. And over here, you
have the option to use the sliders to change
around the head as well. So you can go round and utilize
these sliders right here, or it can go around and
directly type in values, Let's say e.g. 30. And it raises the eyebrows
as you can see right here. Let's just go around and use
up these values right here. So I'm just going to go around over here on the chin area. You can click and
drag to actually go around and make some
teens is right here. So let's just go around. Make this girl right here. So you can go around, pull
up the chain right here, or click and drag this out. And you can see that the slide, the teens is out as I click
and drag this out right here. So that is what you have.
You can work around with the ears as well,
just like this. And you can go around over
here and make thin this out to the eyebrows over
here just like this in well, and then teens up the character. So I'm just going to
go around and make her a bit chubby right here, work around with the lips. And if you want, we can
go around and teens up, Let's see skull and
everything over here as well. So this is what you have. As you can see, this is the fees that you
have right here. We can work around
with the expression, make the character a
bit more angry as well. So this like this, or
you can go around, make it out like let's
see, normal right here. You can make the character
a bit happy less than e.g. just like the second genes
around the expression as well. They can also go around and randomize the expression
as you can see, but let me just go around
and reset it right here. And then I'm going to
go around and make her happy right here. So I'm just going to
go around right here, let's say about 50 per cent
happy and that's too much. So let's go around at
an attendant value. So apart from the face, you can also go around and work around with the
teeth right here. As you can see. The teeth, I'm going
to go around on the face and work around
with the mouth opens. So let's just go run, make a very open right here. And similarly, there's the
teeth and you can go round, work around with the teeth
as well. Let's say e.g. you can go around, make
the teeth a bit big, but you have to be
careful to not overdo it because it might mess up how
the character actually look. So you can go round to that
minimum value right here. This is what you have. You can go around, make the tree more crooked over here as well. So let's just go around. You can see that there's the
crooked teeth right here. I'm holding the middle
mouse button to move it, right-click to zoom
in an outright here, just like this as well. You can navigate right here. So you can go around
and genes out. Let's say I'm just going
to make it like five as the value for cricket and that is what you
have, as you can see. That is how you can simply work around with the face right here. And then you can see that
that is what you have. We can work around
with the face and then the head and
teeth right here. And modify out the head
according to how you want and even go around over here and pull everything
out right here. Well, I'm just going
to go around and have the character's mouth
close up right here. So I'm going to go
round onto let's see, the teeth area, but I'm
just going to go around onto the face right here. And over here, you can
see that mouth open. So let me just go around, keep the value as
zero right here. So now what we're going
to do is we're going to go around and add in other body parts as well as we progress along this course.
4. Choosing and Modifying Torso: So over here we have
our head right here. And if you want to go
around and genes the head, then you can go to head
right here and then click on any one of them and the
head will be replaced. But we do not want that. And I just wanted
to go around and continue working around
with this head itself. So now let's go ahead and add in a torso to the character. I'm going to use the
middle mouse to pan it around right here,
wherever I want. And I'm going to go around,
click on the torso. So for dorsal you
can go around and click any torso that you see
as an option right here. And as per the head, you can see that it
actually goes around and adjusts out the torso right
here, then comes the leg. But we're going to go around and focus on the torso right now. So I may have a female
head right here, but you can still go
around and then genes out. Let's see, e.g. a male body
right here, this like this. But let's just go around and use irrelevant body for this
and go for, let's say e.g. this model right
here. And you can see that it seems is
around right here. Or I'm just going to
go around and select out the default for
this one as well. You can see that
body right here. If I were to go around
and click and drag it, you can see that I can meet the skinny and I can go rounds in the body size and teens round different parts as you
can see, this like this. And just like with the head, I can go around onto customize and genes
around how this looks. So torso has a separate options. You can go around and
change around the mid back, the shoulders, and everything. And if I were to click and drag, you can see this
is what you have. You see the mid sections, you can see the narrow and
wide right here and so forth. You can go around
saying that the breastfeeding small
or you can go around and make the test in
or out right here and adjust out the character
to be how you like it. And that is how you
can go around and add in a torso right
here, just like this. And later we're
going to go around, add in more components
now that we have our character
making process, I'm going to continue on.
5. Choosing and Modifying Arms: So now once we are done with
the head and the torso, Let's just go around and
work around with the arms. We can work around the legs, but lets us go around
onto arms right here. And as with any other character, you can select out
any arms right here, let's say e.g. a. Meal fit zombie right here. So that is a task, but I'm just going
to go around onto arms and select
outlets, say e.g. tune female thing over here itself as well
as its like this. So this is what you have. You can go around and
make adjustments. As with any other body part, you can click and
drag it around, drag around the hands as
you can see right here, according to how you
want this like this, you can go around on
the customized as well and work around with
the arms right here. We can change around the size of the arms right here.
You can look around me. I'm a bit short and work around
with the hands over here, just like this as well. And you can individually
controls out behind. You can make the fingers long, as short as you can
see right here. And add this out detector
accordingly right here. And that is how you can simply
work around with the arms. And then we're
going to go round, continue out with the legs now.
6. Choosing and Modifying Legs and Making Direct Adjustments: Now let's complete
the basic part of our character by
adding out legs onto. So over here, just like with any other object we can
select out any leg, but I'm just going to
go around and select tune female team right here so that it is the
missing leg right there. So this is what you
have as you can see. And we got the dorsal and everything and we can go around, click and drag it out
according to how we like. So we just go around,
adjusted right here, teams around this space
between her legs right here, just like this, and then adjusted according
to how we want. Once we do this, we're
going to go around onto customize
right here and for the legs and it's going to
go around over here onto the leg section and genes
around the size right here. Just like this by using
around the size of the feet and everything else right here. And there you go. We got the cactus
according to how we want, according to the body proportion
that we want as well. So now what we do is we make further adjustments
out to decapitate, to make further
adjustments outright here, we can go around on to modify
geometry directly as well. So let's say there are certain options that
we have right here. But let's say I want to change around the
cheeks right here. We can go around teams
around the modifier, sightseeing around
the higher hardness. And we want to turn on symmetry because we are working with
the symmetrical figure. I can click and drag right here. Just like this, the genes had six sides and
everything manually. As you can see, genes
around her eyes right here, click and drag it and genes at around according
to how we want, entertains around
her head space right here are your elbows
and everything. We can see that we can go around manually adjusted
out point-by-point. It contains around the
modifier size as well, and just go around bullet. And you can see that you can
make minor adjustments right here according to how we want to try to get
this like this. And you can also
saw the vertices, which is helpful because you
don't see the main points. You can see the vertices and you can reset out the
entire tool as well, just like this, then make
adjustments right here. So you can go around,
make changes to minor, minor things right here
according to how you want. So this is going to
go around over here, teens around the size, maybe push out, takes
a bit and so forth. And then see from the side
as well and teens it out. And you can see that
that is how it looks. You can change around the nose right here, this like this. And we can see that
we can really work around with the detail on how you want to
try cake and push this out a bit right here, and that is what you have. Then that is how you
can go around and Jews and modified
legs and even make minor adjustments by using the modified geometric
directly tool in Adobe Fuse. Do change around the character
according to how we like.
7. Adding Accessories and Removing Texture Hair: Now that our character is ready, let's go ahead and add in
accessories to the character. So to do that, I'm going to go around onto the
clothing section. And here you can see
that I can select out different accessories as
I want. Let's say e.g. you can go around and click on an accessory and
the accessory is added in the pending
on the character size, as you can see right here,
it automatically fits. I'm going to go
around and let's see, select out this accessory
right here for this data. Similarly, I can go
around those out bottoms like I can choose bands
right here as you can see, or I can go around
and select outlet, see us get right here, this like this or I can
make it stops, right? Yeah, as for how I want. But let's just go around and add in a tailored shot right here, or maybe a workout shot
right here, just like this. So you can go around and add in the accessory according
to how you like. Similarly, you can go around
and add in hats as well. If you want to, you can
go around and collect. And the hat is added on, onto the top depending on
what you choose right here. So let's see, this
is what you want, but I don't want
a hat right here, so I can simply click
on the hat and press the Delete button on my keyboard to delete
it out as well. Similarly, you can
go around adding an eyewear right here
if you want as well. But I don't want
an eyewear either. So let me just press Delete. If you went a bit,
it can go around and add in a bit
over here as well. You can click on the beard
and delete it out as well. Gloves if you want that, then you can go around
and add that in as well. And the gloves are there. Now let me just remove that as well because I don't want that. You can go around adding a mask as well as you
can see right here, the lemon just go around and
delete that out as well. If I were to go to mustaches, then I can go around over here and then add in
mustaches as well. Since this is a lady guide, I don't want that right here. But what you can also do
is you can go around, add in hair as you can see, and choose, let's say e.g. this type of hair right here. But you can see that the
character already has a hair beneath right
here as a texture. So if I were to go
around over here, you can see that this
is what you have. And then if you
were to go around, you can add an a
hair right here. But there's already a
hair that lets us go ahead and work around with
removing that hair texture. So how do we do that is
through the textures. If we were to go to texture, we can select out the head, as you can see
right here and over here on the right-hand
side, we can work around, but the texture we
are going to work around with this in much
more detail later on. But right now,
let's just do this. Let's just remove the head extra that is there
on this character. So once this character
is selected, you can go around over here and you can
see that there are many different options and
facial hair is one of it. Here you can see here is that if I were to go
around and jeans, Let's see short hair. You can see that I
can go around genes, the texture of the hair. But I want the hair to
be more, let's say, through l0 by adding it as a customization as an accessory from the clothing section, I'm going to go around and
select None right here. The hair is removed completely. So once that is done, let's us go around onto
the clothing section right here and choose a
hair that we want. So once we click, you
can see that the hair is there now and we don't have
that texture bothering. But k can see that the hair is coming like below the
skull right here. So you can go around and
make adjustment by using the modifier to right
here you can work around with the modifier size
right here, this like this. And you can go around, pull it above right here,
this like this. You can go around,
let's say e.g. bullet above or move it
onto the side right here to cover up these imperfections
over here as you want, depending on whether the
hair will be seen or not, you can go around n. Then let's see, covered
this up as you can see, that is what you
have right here. It can go around, cover this up right here, and move it out. As you can see, you
can move this up, move this n right
here, this like this. And then it can go around, move this out right
here, this like this. You can go around, pull this up, go around onto the
side right here, and then that is what you have. We can pull the hair
upright here so that the scalp gets
covered up right here. That's like the second go round, modify out the geometry right here according to how you want. So use the tools right
here and there you go. So there is a bit
of imperfections, but that is more natural anyway, so you can just keep it
as it is right there. So once you do that,
you can see that this is they had
that we have right here and now further on we can go around and
make adjustments. Like I accidentally moved there, so let me just press Control
dead right here to go back. Sometimes error happens. And one more thing I do want to add in a sues
over here as well so I can go around onto the
Zeus and Athena shoes as I waste as well. So let's just go
around and add in. Let's see, normal
Canvas sues right here because this
is more of a sport you look that we
have right here. There you go. We've got all
of the clothing right here. According to how we want. Next up we work around
with textures in detail and give the character
the look that we want, the color that we want to
our clothes and so forth. So this is z, and
let's just continue on modifying out our character.
8. Switching Materials: So over here we have our character with glutes
and everything right here. But let's see. What I wanted to do is
I want to change out the material is there on
these glutes, right? Yeah. So in that case, what you can
do is it can go around onto the texture section
right here and click on the clothing that
you want to teens up. So obviously you can see that this is the
closed end here. These are the materials
that are there in the Cloud so you can go
around and see that these are the
materials right here. And if you want a gene that
then overshare on the bottom, we can see that there are some choices that you
can team that when, let's say if I want to just
go around and use this one, you can just go around
and click and you can see that it changes out this
pocket area right here. But if I were to go
around over here onto different material
and click on this. Now you can see that IT
teams is that outright here. So depending on different
fabrics, right? Care, there may be multiple
textures applied onto it. So you have to click
it multiple times if you want to replace out
everything right here, this likeness, I'm just
going to go to bucket and everything and you can see
that this is how it looks. Now, let's us go around,
do the same with this. And you can see that over here. You can go around and select out the mean fabric right here. So you can go for
pattern metal and so forth as you want
as well, like leather. Let's just go around, try out this lead and let's see
how that looks right here. The slackness, it
becomes leather now. But let me just go around onto this one and let's
see how that looks. That looks like this. As you can see, you can go for metal look right
over here as well. And you get the metallic look right here are solid
color right here. If you want more
of a plain color or you can go around to the
different fabric over here, this likeness as well. Let me just go around onto
this one and then tinted out on with something else and you can go around over here
too in that outlet, something else, go around in
that outlet, something else. And you can see that that is how you can go around
and teens out the entire Material and textures
right here, just like this. So you can go around over
here onto the boots as well. And then let's see e.g. you want to teens
and then you can choose around that same mean. Then go around and genes
out the entire outlook. You can change the
color for the rings. Let's us go around
and select this one. Let's see e.g. for the dose, lets us go around and select this one right
here. For a yields. Let's scroll down and
select red right here. And you can see that the teens is gradually for the sides. You can go around and
sues this one right here. That's the e.g. for the leases, lets us go around and select out a metallic color right
here, this like this. And let's go around and see
that is how it looks now it really changes out according
to the material set V2s, even for like let's say e.g. for the hair that you can go around and Jews around the color as you
can see right here. But it cannot go
around and select out a fabric or
leather or whatever because it's considered a hair right here, this like this. And this is how you
can go around and entirely stripped
out the materials that you use for
the character and genes up the entire
outlook right here. And now further out, we're going to see
how we can control the texture properties
and give it the look exactly
the way we want.
9. Texture Properties: Now let's go around and work around with the
texture properties. Now that we have added
in the Texas right here. If I were to go around over here onto this glute right here, you can see that there's a
certain level of texture. But over here on the
right-hand side, you can see that the
texture resolution is set to 512 by 512. If I were to select 64 by 64, you can see that the
detail drastically changes out because of
the lower resolution. I can go around over
here and change that to, let's say, even higher
right here as well. Same goes for the hair. Even the hair is abrupt so it can decrease down the texture. Details, as you can
see right here. Infuse it out right here. Similarly, you can
see that the hair is shiny so it can go around, emptying out up at
the properties, make it, let's say rough, ER, more shiny right here according to how you
want to try it yet, you can work around with different properties
for this prompt. Like you can go around
teams around the hue shift and change around the
hair color as well. Work around with the saturation, as you can see right here. You can work around with
the luminosity and make the hair black or white according to
how you want as well. You can see that it can be controlled in a very,
very detailed manner. Just by moving around
these sliders, you can go around and around
the highlights right here. You can change around
the intensity it contains around these streaks
as you can see right here. And there's extra gotten to the type of product
that you're using. So e.g. if I were to
go around over here, then you can see that I have
option for skin is as well. So it can make the character
older or younger right here. Or I can go around genes, around the skin color
basically to be darker. Or I can make it fairer right here
according to how we want. Yet, there's many things
that you can work around, whether I care this by thinking around these sliders
that you see right here, you can go round, work
around with the makeup as well in teams around
the black color, as you can see right here. You can also go
around and around and how Neil colors as
you can see right here. So you need to go round and then experiment with whatever options that you have right here. So you can go around
over here onto, let's say e.g.
makeup right here. And there's the nail
color right here. Capacity can go around
and teens it up so that the bolus
goes up as well. And let's say you want to make the nail or red right here, or let's say dark
red and so forth. And it can go around emptying. Is that outright that. So once you do that, you can go around and
then let's see e.g. teens around the lipstick
opacity right here, around the lipstick
color over here, like this as well. And to how you like, it can go around
over here as well. And then you can
work around with the roughness here,
lips and so forth. Even with the eyes
as you can see, you can go around and teens out the Eichler,
let's see e.g. to green so forth. And you can see that there's a distinct look to
the character now. So that is what you have and
you can work around with the iris details
over here as well. You can work around
with iris variations. You can work around with
iris colors and so forth. So you can work around me, make the eyes a bit
red, not right here. And we'll add in
veins to the eyes and even work around
with facial hair. So as you can see right here. So we can go around
and then add in some facial hairs if
we want to as well. So we have expanded out a lot. So let's just go
around over here. What you can do is you
can go around adding mustaches on because as well, if the character requires set right here from the
facial hair section, you can go around and make the body more metallic as well. If you want to give
a more robotic look as you can see right here, or move it back down to make
it more human right here. Even with the glutes right here, you can see that
we can go around with the reasons
skills right here. And you can go around and teens around these
leaves right here. You can work around
with a growth where level as well as
you can see right here, you can make the
growth of bit older by tingling around the
slider over here as well. So you can see that that
gives it an interesting look. And it contains around the hue as well as you can
see right here, you can change around how the clothing actually
looks around right here. Change around the color, change around the world,
lightness over here, this like this as well, and so forth according
to how you want. You can go around
and teens around the world level right here for different levels and you can go around and even
add in debts if you want to write
here like this. So there's a lot of details
that you can work with and there's detailed visibility, as you can see right here. This has got around onto
the trousers as well. And you can see that
it can go around teams around the world
level right here. So let's just go
around and do that. And you can do the same
with the feet as well. So you can really work around with the details
as you can see. So let's say I want a
bit of debt right here. You can go around and teens the level right here
and you can see that there's debt on the sues now and that Teams apps
the textures as well. So that is how you can
work around with all of the details, the
texture properties, and teens around
the overall look of the textures that you apply onto the characters
props as well, according to how you want. And now we're going to go
around and nowhere to run further on to final,
final refinement. And then we're going to
go towards exporting this model out of Adobe Fuse.
10. Exporting Model: Now that we have our model, let us go ahead and export this. So to export this, you need to go around
onto your file menu. And over here you can
see export as an option. Here you can go around
and export the model as an OBJ or this
export detections. So let's get ahead and export
the Duchess right here. And you can choose the location of where you want to export it. So let me just go ahead
and export it onto my desktop where I'm going to create a new folder and say
Export example right here, this light that's,
so once I do that, I'm going to open this up and
then let me just go around. And within that folder named
Missy textures, right? Yep. So I created another folder. Let me select it and click
on Select Folder and press. Okay, and it's exporting out the texture's off the character on that particular
folder right here. So it does take a bit of
time and that is normal. So if I were to go ahead
and open it up right here, I can go around inside
and here you can see that there's the
cactus S right here. And inside that you got all of the textures related
with the character, so that you can go around and import this into any other 3D modeling application or to the animation
application as you want. You can also go round
and export out and OVD, that means a 3D format itself. So I can go around and click
on Export, go to export, that is, and go to
Export Model as OVD. And again select jangle
MS in case you are exporting it onto a
particular software that only accepts
triangular mess. They can pack the textures
and UV as well and even choose the texture size to be high quality or low quality. I'm just going to go around
and keep it as it is. And I'm going to export
this in a new folder. And I'm going to press
Okay, right yet, once I do this, I'm going to go to deck stop. And over here, I'm going to
go around and sell it a C, let's say e.g. character yet. So once I do that, I'm
going to go inside cactus and let's say
character right here, this like this character.ovz. So it will be exported
as Character dot OBJ. Once you export it over here, everything will be exported on to this particular
folder right here. So this is the character,
as you can see, and this is the OBJ
file that it has. It has exported along with all of the textures
as you can see right here. So I'm just going to go
around and open this up with my Windows default
3D view I right here. And if you don't have
it, you can install it using your using, using your Microsoft Store as well and you can download it. And over here you
can see that this is the 3D model that we
made in Adobe Fuse. And we're using the viewer in order to view this model right here in different lighting
conditions right here. And you can see that
this is now out of Adobe Fuse right here and
is in a separate tree visa, whether it's like this. And now you can go ahead and utilize this 3D
model right here. Applications like this. Now, one more thing that
we're going to look at is how we can go around an input this model to another Adobe service
called Mixamo, which allows us to add in automatically rigs and then even animate out this character
by using presets. So we are going to go
around and do that next.
11. Importing Model for Animation: So these are the files that was exported out of Adobe Fuse. And now what we're
going to do is we're going to upload this onto, there'll be maximal so that we can add an emissions to it. So to do that, first of all, you need to create a zip with all of the
file contents, right? Yeah, So to do that, I'm just going to click and
drag everything right here. And right-click and click
on, Show More Options. And then I'm going to go to Send to and click on compressed. Once I do that, zip file is created as you can
see right here. So now what I'm
going to do is I'm going to go around and bring in my web browser where I
have already typed in mixamo.com and sign in
with my Adobe account. So you do need to do
that first type in mixamo.com and sign in
with your Adobe account. Once you do that, you need
to click on upload data and you'll have this
dialogue box that pops up. So all you need to do
now is click and drag up the character zip file that is decompressed file and
leave it around over here. Once you do that,
the file starts to get uploaded right here and it starts processing
the character. It does take a while as it is a 3D file and that is normal. So all, so all you gotta do is keep on waiting
now for a moment. And you will see the
character that you made in Adobe Fuse pop-up right here. So it's processing the character as you can see right here. So you just gotta wait awhile. And now you can see that the character is
loading right here. It has uploaded and
process of the character. And now you can see that
it has going around and processing so that the author
rigor can be opened up. So you can see your character
right here, this like this. So it is slowly
loading in detail. And all of the details are
here, including the color. And it can go around and rotate this as you
can see right here. You can go around,
rotated from the top, from the bottom, just like this. And that's the character right yet, that is what you have. And now you can click
on next right here. So what do you got to
do is got a line out all of these points, right? Yeah. So let's say for the chin, I'm just going to go around, drag it onto the chin area
right here so you can see that crosshair zoom area
that pops up, right? Yes. And just go around and pointed towards
certain for the rest, you can see the reference over
here as well for the rest, does this go around and the symmetry is
turned on for this, you can go around
and put it around the wrist area for the elbows. Go around and select out the elbow area right
here, just like this, this go around and leave it out and just go around and drag
it up over here as well. I'll just go around,
make it onto the center. Then you go around
onto the knees, and then right around over here, you can go around and
select means right here. Then for the grim,
this go around and select the green
area over here, this like this as well. And once that is done, you don't need to worry
about the standard. You can go round,
choose any standard. I'm using symmetry so that all of it can be
moved at the same time. So once this is done, you
can do it to standard. No problem. Let's go
round and click on Next. And you can see
your 3D character rotating around right there. As the author rigor is doing its job to rig out
the character. And it says it can
take up to 2 min depending on the complexity of the model that you
have right there. So thus weight and then the auto trigger
will be complete. So you gotta wait awhile. And now it has loading, as you can see right here, it is starting to complete the processing of
the auto rigor. And then you can see your cat
actually move right there. So you can see that
this is the character and now the character
is moving right here. If the character is
not moving right, then you do need to go
back and correct it. But you can see that
the character is moving and it is being
animated right here. You can go around and
Bennett right here, this like this, and use these tools to see it
around right here. Once you're okay. So you can see that everything seems fine. So let me just go around
and click on Next. And our character is loaded
up over here in maximal. And now, further on, we choose around different
animations and apply it to on, um, on our character, which we're going to do next.
12. Adding and Adjusting Animation: We have our character
right here. And let's say what
do you want to do is you want to add an animation. So over here on the left side
you can see that there's some preset animations
that you can choose from. Let's say e.g. you
can see that Dennis, red right here and blue cactus, red represents for female. And blue is more of a
famil move right here, but it can still apply
them outright here. Once you click on
it, you can see that the character is
walking out right here. And you can click
on it right here. And then the animation will be applied like hands
holding and so forth. You can go around and teens
the overdrive to actually go around and teens around
the speed as you can see, or you can go around and
decrease outlets, say e.g. the overdrive to slow
down the speed as well. Once you do that, you can
go around teams around the arm space as well for the
character as you can see. And then it turns around
the arm space right here. You can go around and trim
out the content as well. Let's say the trim up the parts of the animation right here. And you can see that only the beginning or the
end shows up right here. I can go around and
genes out that is streak out the animation
according to how you want, as you can see right here. And then that is what you have. You can see that that is
the overall animation. Now, we can also go around and mirror out the animation
right here as well. That's like this. And then
it'll be mirrored now. So whatever oxygen is, therefore the character
it has mirrored out as you select Mirror
option right here. So you can see that
it is opposite. Now, you can pause right here, you can play it out. You can click and drag around, see the different
angles right here. And then you can go around
and rotate it right here. You can go around and Bennett, I'll click onto, zoom in and zoom out as you
can see right here. Or you can reset
out the camera view and toggle follow camera, as well as the character moves, the camera actually
follows as well. So you can go around and see different animations,
or let's say e.g. you want something
like a run animation. You can type it in and sit. And you can see that that's running animations right here. Click on it, and there's
running backward right here. And you can see that there are some injured run right here, just like this, that's like phosphorous and as you
can see right here, and that's run and look back as you can see
that we can work around with let me just go around in teens out the
trim right here. And what happens is that you
can see that there's more, OK, the animation right
here, just like this. So that is what you have. You got the run animation
as you can see right here. Let me just go around and
go for dance right here as a flag this and see some dancing move right
here, this like this. So let's just go around onto step hip hop dance right here. Then you can see that the
cactus dancing or you wanted to go around and the snake
hip hop dance right here. And you can see
that the character is dancing right there. So let's just go around and then go for the belly
dance right here. You can see that
that is the dense. Let me just go
around teens around the trim area right
here, this like this. And I want to go around
and decrease outlets, say the overdrive
a bit right here. And it can also go around teams around the
focus and stands. So depending on the animation, we can see you get the
different options right here. And as you move
around the sliders, you can see that it actually
Teams is out right here. So you can see that this is
the focus and there you go, the cactus dancing around. And that is how you can
basically go around and add animations to your
character by using mixable. And next we're going to see how we can go around and export out this animation right
here and download it out onto our computer.
13. Downloading Animated Model: So now that we have added in animation onto our character, let's go ahead and
download it out. So to do that, you
need to go around and click on
Download right here. And it can go around
and sues the format of the of the file right here. Let me just go around and
leave it with FTX binary. And you can choose with or without skin right here as well. Or you can go around and meet the same uniform or non-uniform, but leaving it default is okay. You can also go around and 2s frame per second
to be smooth, to be 60 frame per second, or a little bit to 30 right
here, was the default. Just going to go
around and leave everything default right here, and click on
Download right here. So you can see that
it's preparing the download and it
says this The moment. It does take a while. So that is normal because
3D is a heavy fault. So you can see it as
preparing the download. And there you go. It has downloading
the belly dance dot FBX file right here. So once that is downloaded, you can go around and
click right here. So if I were to go
around and you can see that the 3D viewer
opens up right here. So that is the view that I
have in my windows that I installed from the
Windows Store. So you can see that
the character, and we have the character
with animation. And you can see we
can play around with the lighting, this like this. And they go with everything
with the details. The character dancing is here. So that is what you have as
you can see this like this. And then you can work
around with the lights and everything and the one you want. So that is how you
can go around and download all the animated
models right here. And this is what we
can do and model out the character in Adobe
Fuse and then download, that is adding animation
to it and even download it out over here now
onto our computer. So now it is up to you to
create a similar project. And that is what we're going
to discuss about next.
14. Project Description: We have now come to
the end of the course, and now it is up to
you to create a cat. While making a character. Makes sure that you add
in all of the parts, of course, and add in at
least for accessories. E.g. I. Have a hat right here, I have a shape right here. I got pants and boots. So this makes up for
for accessories. You can add in gloves or anything else like
a wig and so forth. But make sure you at least
have for accessories. Then you need to go around
and export the character, like we did as we followed
through the lesson. And then you need to
add an animation using mixable and then export
the animated file. I can't wait to see
what you come up with. So just go around
and get started.
15. Goodbye: We have now come to
the end of the course. And now I'm sure that you know how to create
your character. Experiment around with
different textures, that there are different
clothing's there are, so that you can
make your character look unique the way you want. Remember that you can
go around and then modify out the cat bit
by bit right here. And you're not just limited to the settings that you see over here on the
right-hand side. So once again, thank you
very much for taking the course and all the
best for your future. Check after designing journey.
