1. Beginning: Hello and very welcome
everyone to this video course. My name is Joseph. I'm 22 years old and
live in Germany. And in this whole course
I'm going to teach you the absolute
basics of luma fusion. We're going to cover the
most important things about luma fusion
so that you can just get started and start editing your first on
videos with luma fusion. And that's why we
will only cover the most important things about the whole
software so that you don't waste your time on endless video courses and can just start
editing right now. In this case, I want
to thank you for the purchase if you've
already purchased and if not, I hope to see you
soon in the course. So I would say I'll
just stop talking here and we just dive
into our first topic. So fasten your seat
belts and let's go.
2. project managing interface: Let's just start with
the first topic, which is all about the overview and the project
management interface that we are here right in after we opened the
luma fusion software. The bottom window
is the overview of prospect of all our projects
that we've started. Here we can move, copy, added or delete our projects. The top window is the
window from where we can import our media from
all different sources. As you can see here. The right window is the preview video
window of our projects, where we can basically
preview the project. The bottom task line, we have different functions that we can use for our projects. With the first one, we
can start a new project. And you can see here
with the second one, we can import a project
from different sources. And we have a lot of different
sources or OneDrive, for example, Google
Drive dropbox. And with the next one, we can basically copy this
project, for example, as you can see here, of
two products right now, the second project, I could just copy and paste it and then
we have two versions of it. If we wanted to change something
and test something new, for example, this
is pretty helpful. With the last function. We can then again delete a project with a small angle
in the middle of the screen. We can rearrange the size of Windows so that we
can work better. A cool function
that I really like is this needle
function over here. And for example, you
can see it here. I can put a little into
the preview window and set a marker and remind myself that I have to edit something here. With the functions in
the bottom-right corner. We can change the settings
of certain projects, for example, the frame
rate or audio settings. Furthermore, we can search for projects with a
search tool here, or change the Q and
the position of our already existing projects
with this symbol here. With its settings symbol in
the bottom right corner, we can basically adjust our settings of the
single projects. For example, adjust the frame
rate or the color spectrum. This should be it for the
very first topic here about the interface of
the project management. When we open the luma
fusion software, as I said before, we have three basic Windows. The preview window in the top-right corner,
the sources window. And here the overview of our
already existing projects.
3. settings: To get started, we need for
truer to start a new project. To do this, we're
going to click here on the symbol and start
a new project. Don't get irritated
because it's German, it's exactly the same in every language of the
Duma fewer and software. Yeah, if we gave our name, if we gave our project
than a good name, for example, name, then we can adjust our frame rate or
format and our color spectrum. But here is a very
important thing because I think luma fusion
is super convenient. And that's why the software checks the first video that we insert in the project and automatically chooses the
right settings for it. So I think especially people that are not very experienced
with video editing and don't need to change much
here and should just let luma fusion choose the
right product setting, which is why I'm not going
to choose a lot here. I'm just going to
create a new project and let the software then adjust the settings perfectly formed from just the first settings. So just going to create
the new project here, not gonna change too much
in the settings here. I mean, we can always change
the settings afterwards. So we're just gonna create
it here and get started.
4. personalization of the interface: After we now started
the new project, we come into the new
timeline editing mode in which we are right now. And what we're going to check
here and how to edit videos and everything about it is what we are
going to cover now, before we start with editing and working on our video material, we should take a look
on the interface. Here you can see the
settings symbol again, if you made a mistake
with the frame rate, for example, when you
created the project, you can just edit it here. The settings include
functions to change the basic settings for your
video and audio material. The settings include
functions to change the basic settings for your
video and audio material, but also for ducking
and cleaning your footage. They
help settings. You can find the user's manual and the contact to support. So if we want to, for example, change our background color, we can change it here. We want to change
the frame rates so the frames per second rate, we can also adjust it here. But as I said before,
especially for beginners, we normally don't need to
change that much because the pneumo fusion
software is going to adjust the settings
and frame rate. And based on the first video that we put into our timeline.
5. interface iPad nad MacBook: For everyone who is starting interface doesn't
look like this. Don't panic with the symbol
in the bottom right corner, we can adjust the position of our different windows
that we have here. And to follow the
course a bit better, I would suggest you to use the same positioning as I'm using here right now so you can follow the
course of it better. For the purpose of this course, I'd like to stay with the
settings because for my taste, it's the easiest one. Starting from the
bottom to the top, we can see the editing tools. We can see the editing tools, which we can see in our
timeline here right down. And we can basically use these tools to do everything
without video clips. Or we're going to dive
into that a bit later. Here you can see the
timeline window in which we can edit our video
and audio material. The left part of the
timeline window aesthetic. So here we can
adjust our settings, fixed the material, or
just regulate the sound. We will go deeper into
that one later tool. As in the project
management interface to the top-right window, is the preview window
for our video. Depending on whether
you choose a clip in, depending on whether you
choose a clip which is in the timeline or a clip that
isn't the importation video. We can preview the
video that we are using an S in the project
management interface to, we have also here the option
to regulate the size of the windows so that we have it like that it's better
for us to work with it. And I'm just going to keep it
like that because like it. So we're just going to
dump into the next topic.
6. importing sources and possibilities: What you are seeing
now it looks a bit different than what
you saw before, because now I opened the luma
fusion app on my iPad to show you that we basically have the same functions and
editing possibilities. Then we have also on the
laptop that we saw before. I personally like it a bit
more to edit on the iPad because I think you can edit faster and be more precise
with the Apple Pen. And in terms of settings,
interface, or speed, the iPad version
and doesn't really show any differences
to the laptop. So as you can see here, we have most of the
settings the same, which is why we're
going to stick with the laptop version for
this whole course. But I just wanted to show you that they're basically
no differences. If you should follow the
course right now on your iPad.
7. Explanation of cutting tools: About are importing
sources and possibilities. The top-left window is the video importation window
in which we can choose between several possibilities to import our media,
photos or videos. This little flower symbol, like I have no idea
whether this is really a flower symbol or not, is our go-to tool to choose from where we want to import a video, for example, into our
timeline. Down here. To do this, we basically
have two main options. The first option is that we go into our folder from which
one to choose our video, click on the video. Then we basically can just drag and drop the movie
down to our timeline. As you can see here, when
a video looks like this, It's loading because it's taking the video from my iCloud. The second possibility to important video is that
we click on the video, then the preview
windows opening. And we can, if you want, decide with those sliders which part of the video
we want to import. And after we chose, we can just click on
this downloading symbol here and straight put the
video into our timeline. And it is already
covered in the way that we put the
sliders and before. Which further tools do we have
in the importation window? For example, we can edit our
sources here from which we want to import our media. And we can also
color, for example, with this thing down here, our media so that we
are better organized. And I think this is
pretty cool and I really like it and
use it often because then I can categorize my videos better and have a better
overview of them. Also, we can change
the position and role of the clips with
this function here.
8. scissors tool: Now we're going to take a look on the cutting tools which you can find in the bottom
task right here. Those are the cutting
towards which we can use for our timeline to edit our videos. We start from the left to the right with a
little overview. And in the next lesson we
will go practically deeper into each of those cutting
tools we have here. The first cutting tool on the left side is a
very important one. We already saw the symbol
once in the project overview. And so you may be already
know what this one is for. It's basically for incident copy pasting a clip that
we've selected. With this second button here, we are able to separate the video and the
audio from each other, but watch out as you can
see by this white line, the audio and video parts are still linked
with each other, so we cannot move
them separately. If we want to decouple them, we have to use this button here. With a button one further right? We get into the editing mode
where we can edit our video. And the editing mode we
can edit the sound, color, animations, title,
and the speed, as you can see here. But we will dive into
that a bit later. But this is what we will cover some sections later
to keep the overview. The button here with
a little star symbol. This one is a very
cool and helpful one. Here's the software is giving us some defaulted effects
that we cannot use. Some color gradient effects that the luma fusion software
already created, which we just have
to insert there. This is pretty nice,
especially for beginners. And you can play
around with those to see whether you like some of those color grading
settings are not. Also, we can choose a
video stabilization when it's necessary. And here we have the
VOC, for example, and can choose the positioning of the video, for example here. And there are also some gamblers you can
play around with. And with this one, you can edit the
audio sequences. I'd suggest you to
play around and maybe test those
default settings a bit, because sometimes they
are really helpful, but most of the time you
don't really need them. At least for
unprofessional editors.
9. seperating tool: It down here in the
editing tools line, we find the probably
most important tool, which is the scissors tool. We can use the Scissors
tool as soon as we move around our timeline here. And it is mandatory
to have a clip, video clip for the
scissors tool for sure. But we can also cut clips, videos, pictures, audios,
everything with the scissors. And it's pretty simple and
I think self-explaining, we just click it and we're able to cut our video
and small pieces, which we then can move around, put in a different Q. And I think this is pretty
nice made by the software, and I really like it. By the way, did you realize that the middle line in our timeline, so this middle line here, it's automatically
and always for video or video and audio clips. And the lines under it
are for audience only. So if I take, for example, the video clip here and put
it under the middle line, we can see it becomes an audio. If I keep it here or put it
even higher, nothing changes. This is because down here everything is becoming an audio. You can also see it here, but we will go into the
deeper in a few topics.
10. clothespin tool: The separating tool. With this tool, when
we chose a video clip, I'm gonna show you
with this tool here. We can separate the
video from the audio, so we have basically
two sequences. Now, this is
especially important when we want to delete the
audio of videos, for example. But watch out because
now the video and the audio sequence are still
connected with each other. You can see it because there's this little
white line here. If we want to delete one or the other thing without
affecting the other thing, for example, I can
just move them around and two blocks
for me right now, It's not possible
to move them around singularly because they
are still connected. And if I want to decouple them, I need the next tool.
11. selecting clips: To decouple two sequences from each other so that we are able to move them around without the other part of it
moving around too. We can use the following tool, which is, which is this one. When we click this
one, you can see that there is no
more a white line. And if we click this one again, there's the white line again. This one is basically
for a coupling and decoupling audio and video, or even video and video
or audio and audio. That really doesn't
make any difference. And now we are able to move
them around similarly, without the other part
always moving with it.
12. copy and pasting clips: Let's come to the next
tool, which we have here. As you can see here, as soon as I click this tool, new opening in the
preview window up here, this is the tool
and it's basically a marker where we can
mark our Eclipse. So if I, for example, Mark till here you can see we just selected
all of those and then I have some possibilities and to do some things with them. For example, I can just
with command C on Mac Book, copy them and then paste
all of them in here. And before we do, I
wanted to do this. We can just do it here. This tool is very helpful
because we can select many clips at once and then
move them around or fix them, as you can see here. With the bottom one to the left, we can select what we want
to do with those clips. So with this one here
and this example I'm showing you how
to copy and paste several clips by using
the keyboard shortcut, command, copy and Command V. Just going to copy and
Command V to insert it. Just very regular as always. And when we don't want to
select all the clips anymore. So for example, we
selected all of them. We simply click
the button again. And then we come back and
drew the neutral mode.
13. voiceovers: To copy and paste clips or
sequences into other projects. We use the two from the
lesson before again. We choose the clips
that we want to copy and paste with
this thing here. Then we go over to the project where we
wanted to paste them in. We go back into the project
overview mode here, go into a different project. For example, this one here, an old project about Brazil, which I did and then just
paste all our clips in here.
14. simple crossfades: How to create voice-overs. To create one, we click
on the plus symbol, which you can find down here, and then choose the
option voice-over. Now we can start
the voiceover by clicking on the circle here. And as you can see here, there was the timer. And now we can
just start talking about the sequencer received
above whatever we want. If we do not like what we spoke. So now I'm going to end it here. If we wanted to do it again, we just click this symbol here. If we wanted to delete it, we can click on the X
and to listen to it, we can click here. But in this case we're
going to keep it.
15. titles: To make use of lumen fusions, great default cross fades. We have to click on the
plus symbol again and choose the crossover
function here. Then we can see this when we
chose the end of the video, that we get a fade-out. And in this case, I'm going to show you at
the end of the video. We get a fade-out. So the
video is closing more softly. If we now want to change
something about that, we have to choose the
star symbol again. So we're going to
click on this one, go to the star symbol down here. And then we have only
options for our fade-out. So for example, we
can do it like this, and then the video is going
like closing like this. Or we can choose a burst. So basically we go on
and do it like this. And you can play around
with that, for example, you can also choose it
for video in the middle, where are we going to choose? Where we're going to
choose a crossfade, for example here. And as you can see here now, it's pretty smooth
between the one and the other video,
more like a blink. And here you can play
around with that. I think it's pretty cool
and a really good thing about luma fusion that
it's so easy to use. If you want to reverse
anything here, we can simply as always, click on the arrow here. And we will have Rijndael. All the things here
that we've done.
16. user effects: Creating a title, it's
symbol for creating a title. We go on the plus symbol again, we don't even have to
choose a video clip. We can just call
the plus symbol. And then we can choose
between an overview. And then we can choose between an overlay title
or a main title. In this case, it's
not a big difference. I'm going to choose
the overlay title. And as you see, it's
overlaying over the clip. The other one is basically
In the video sequence. But there's not a
big difference. I'm just going to show
how it works here. To edit the title, we go on the pencil tool, the editing tool right here. And then you can see here we get into the editing mode
where we can basically double-click the text and type
anything we want in here. And as you can see, we have here a lot
of possibilities to choose from what we do with
our texts, for example. And as you can see,
here's the German. Very sorry for that. I don't have an English
version of luma fusion. It's not available, but in your language you
should understand how this works because it's you can just adjust
the size of it. You can, for example,
adjust the camera. You can turn like the
title however you want, can make it bright
or less bright. And yet I really like it. It's, it's, it's, it's a
pretty good overview here. And we have a lot of
possibilities to play with here. We're not happy with that. We can as always use
the arrow here and just make it back
as it was before.
17. control bar: Luma fusion also has
pretty good user effects, which you can find at the
star symbol right down here. We choose a video clip and
then access the user effects. We can choose different
effects that we like. I'd suggest you to play
around with them a little so you can check which
ones you like the most. But we also have user
effects for titles, as I can show you
here, or for audios. So it depends on what kind
of clip you've selected. There are always different
user effects that you can use here and that you should definitely check out.
That's pretty cool.
18. basic practical cutting skills: So as you've probably noticed, we have this fixed control block here to the left side of
the editing timeline. We can close it simply by
clicking those buttons here. The individual lines that
can be seen here mark the different levels
that we can use for editing the audio
and video sequences. This a bit brighter level
here marks the middle level. Every level on top of it is for video sequencers and end every level under it is
for audio sequences. If you have a video sequence
over another video sequence, luma fusion will give priorities
to the clip is higher. So for example, let me show you. If I put this one down here, you can see because it is on top of the other
video sequence, we're just seeing the video
sequence and not the other. But if we put this one, oops, it's still a couple unless
you can see, decoupled it. But if I put this
one above this one, this one is a priority and we see only the video on top of it, starting with the
tools explanation here from the left to the right, we see the same
symbols as we already saw in the project
overview interface. With this button here, we can basically
couple and decouple our videos or audios with
the lock symbol here. We can lock the whole row
or D lock it so we cannot, we are not able to
change or anything as soon as long as it is still locked to D lock it and
we can just open the lock here and were again
able to work here. Let whole rows disappear and appear by clicking
the eye symbol here. For example, if I click it here, the eye symbol we're not seeing even though
it's priority, the top video, we only see
the second lane video. If I let it appear again, then the row is
coming back again. And same thing for
the audio here. If we click on the audio, we can basically mute single lens that we
wanted to have muted. And I think it's pretty cool. We can play around here
with this thing here. We can basically adjust the
audio for the whole row. So if I put this
one to plus five, the whole row, we'll have plus five more volume and datable. We do not want to see
this block anymore. We can let it disappear with those buttons right down here.
19. basic practical cutting skills: Now I'm going to sum up what we've learned so far by simply showing you how I'm editing my videos in a very
simple and fast way.
20. DA360863 67DA 4570 83FA 4A17906AABE8: So when I start editing, I am firstly choose the right folder where I wanted
to take my footage from. In this case, I'm already
in the right folder. And then I'm going to choose the sequence of the clip
that I want to use. In this case, it's me surfing. We're going to put it into the timeline
with this arrow here. Then we have the sequence here. I don't like the sound, so I'm going to separate
them and then decouple them, and then delete the audio. So I only have now
the video here. Afterwards I'm going
to choose different, different video, for
example, this one. And also taking it and dropping it by direct
and dropping down here. Now I want to put
in a better cut, which is not so hard. So I'm going to
take the crossover, the fade over here,
because it's pretty small. And seeing right now, gonna put it a bit bigger. This one is the syllabus
and then we're here. I like it. Here. I also don't like
the sound going to separate them,
decouple and delete. And so this is
basically a very basic first cutting which you
should have also practice. If I wanted to, I could also
put a voice-over now in, or a title as I've shown
you in the lectures before. But in this case it's not
necessary here right now. So I'm happy with it. And we go right into
the next topic.
21. Video positioning: Everything we wanted to do
when it comes to editing the audio titled the video
speed or the positioning. Then we have to choose
the pencil tool, which you can see down here. Here we get into
the editing mode. The first editing
tool we're going to cover now is the video
positioning tool, which you can see here. So basically we have five
different editing Motier, but now we're just going
to cover the first one, which is the video positioning. Here we can adjust the size
and position of our video by simply moving the image or
using the dots on the side, which you can see
here to rearrange the size of the right-hand side, open the Settings menu. Here we can adjust
the rotation and also have some default
animations if we want. If we want to create
an individual's movement of the video, we simply have to use
the line down here. The line down here is basically with which
you can do everything. And also in the
other editing modes. But I will show
you how it works. As you can see here, we
have the option to add little dots as I did with
this one here already. I'm going to add one
here for example. And now we have two dots in
our timeline this year is basically the time
line off our video. Now I'm choosing four dots, 12 and number three. And number four. Because with this mode, we can basically create every kind of animation
that we want. If we are creative enough. I'm not choosing the
four points from where I want the picture to move. So you could say
that I'm choosing the corners with the dots. Always been a put a
dot and I changed some settings on the dot
on this special timeframe. The video is moving
into that direction. So I'm gonna show
you now in this first we not gonna
change anything. In the second one, I'm going to make the
median video down here. This one put it down here. And this one gonna
put it up here. What we can see here now
basically it's when we play it, that the media is moving
due to our dots that we've put in the way that
we wanted it to have. That's basically, that's very basically the explanation of the tool on how to
do some animations. There's more on the
editing mode for our video positioning
that we can do. Therefore, we have a look at the four main settings that you can see here on the right side. The first one is about the default positioning
of our Eclipse. So we can choose between several default
positioning settings. The second one here is to crop the size of our view image. Basically, if you
choose those here, we can crop the
size of our video. The third one is about
the size and position of our clip so we can move it. The position of our video. Also rotate our
video if we want. The fourth one is basically
about the opacity. So how strong we want
the picture to be? But now we have the question, how do we fade out manually? We can do this also
with the dots again. So for example, if we
want to have a fade-out, I'm just going to
create two new dots and our timeline here. And then on the last dot, just gonna put the opacity very hard down here, only a bit. And then the video should fade out in the way
that we chose it. So for example, you can see
now it's getting darker. That's basically it about the video positioning
of our Eclipse. The next topic is about the
speed adjustment of our kids.
22. Video speed: When we want to adjust
the speed of the video, we basically go back to the
pencil tool down here again, and then go to the
second button down here, which is about speed and
reverse of our videos. What we can see here now
is that we're able to adjust the speed simply
by moving the scale. So if for example, now the video is played
and 0 No.5 speed, and now it's one
dot, dot, three dot. We can basically go up till six. For example, if I go
up to 60 will see nor video clip is just 1
second long and super quick. So in this case it's
a bit too fast. I'm gonna make it back to here. And this one, this is basically the normal length which
you are seeing right now. And with this one down here, we can adjust the speed
of the video clip. As you can see here. We also have those
two buttons here. So the right one, we will keep our audio
sequence no matter how we added the speed
of the video sequence. So the audio was the same if
we click this button here, and if we click this one, right, left next to it, then we can play the
video and reverse. And that's something really
cool I'm gonna show you now because we can
create a cool effect here which I like to use often. They are from this corner. Copy and paste this video
clip here to show you. And then I'm going to reverse the video as you can see
here, it takes some time. I'm just going to
skip it now for you. So as we can see here now
it's basically finished. And it's basically
looking like this. Now, if you're gonna
play it from here, this one is the part in reverse. It's just gonna reverse. I think that's a pretty
cool effect that you can have when you edit videos, for example, music
videos or something. And you want to have
this bump that it's like think it's a cool effect, should play around
with that a bit. You could also now, for example, put this one in more speed, let's say for example three. And the other one too. And I think then it
looks even cooler. Maybe three is a bit
too fast, we will see. So let's kind of
look like this now. It's a bit too fast, but
you see my point here. So you should basically
play around with that. It's pretty simply here. And if you have any
questions about that, let me know in the comments.
23. Video stabilization: To stabilize the clip, we're also has always
going back again into the editing mode
down here and go to the third button
which is stabilizing. And as you can see here, we have a default stabilizer, which is already built in
the luma fusion software. And this one here, the stabilization
through core males. This one is really, really good. So in the most times
it really don't need the custom stabilisation
which you could do here. So I'm not going to dive
more into that and reduce, going to have a
look at the result. And the video was
already pretty stable, but you will find out by
yourself it's super stable now. And I can really
recommend using this. For, to be honest, I written never really use
the custom stabilizations because the building here
is really doing a good job.
24. Audio editing: When we want to edit the sound, It's basically also
again, the pencil mode. And then here the
fourth button where we can find everything
about editing the sound. Here it's pretty simple. This one here the scale is
basically the main sketch. You regulate the sound of the
whole clip that we chose. So if we want to, for example, have the sound low here, then in the middle and
in our normal levels. And the deep end,
again very low. Then we are using
again the dots, which I've already explained
a few lectures earlier. For that I'm going
to, for example, put four dots again. You can really depends
on what you want to do. And I'm just going to adjust the sound
here as you can see. So we're going to
start super silent, and then we go into the last dot two also this
one super silent and S, we will now see when
we start a video that actually the video is now in
the audio that we wanted it. So that's pretty cool. If we want to edit,
for example, pen, which you don't really need
often because it's basically the amount of audio that will be received by your
right or the left ear. So as you can see
here, right or left. And that's a function you may be need for
music production, but not really for
video editing, I think. And also here, if you
want to play around with some specific hertz numbers, you can do it here too. I don't really use
that too often because most of the time the video or the audio quality of the videos is already
pretty balanced. So I'm not going to dive
much deeper into that. Ducking. Also something which luma
fusion automatically chooses, need some custom settings here. So I think the main
settings that we need here in the audio
is basically how we can adjust the audio heat
in different situations, in different parts of our video as I've shown you
here, for example, we could also do one
more here and then have the audio like dipping
in the middle a bit. If we wanted to talk here,
for example, in a voiceover. Or if we get where
we can find how to generally make the
audio a bit less loud.
25. FX Editing: To access the last editing mode, we have the pencil
mode down here. We're going back here again
to the color grading mode. F to be fair with
you and say that luma fusion doesn't really have the best color editing settings and features that you can use. I think, because
most of them are just default so you can't
really edit much about them. And that's pretty,
I don't like that, but I would recommend to you, for example, to maybe go if you, if you realize that there's, I'm not really a color
editing color grading setting here which you like that you maybe should
go into the internet and download one and
then imported here, which you then always use. There are a lot
of color grading, default settings in
the Internet made by some hobby, hobby video editors. So you just have to search for luma fusion color
grading packages and you will find a lot of them. So maybe you should
check this out too. But I will show you was
to show you some of the color grading
settings that I like. It's basically to set 130. It makes everything a
bit more a writer and the counters as you
can see like that. And the other one that I
really like us to set as 8010. Taking the color out, I play around with
those two always. Before I check always like how
much, how colorful, shiny. Or on the other hand, how dark
is smaller video footage? And what do I want to
change about that? And then I'm gonna do it with basically set
110 are set 130. And then I can basically
adjust everything that I want here with the
different settings that I can choose here.
26. greenscreen: One thing that's
definitely also good to know is how are we going
to edit green screens? And that's pretty simple. And I really like it
about luma fusion that they made it so simple
because you can see here now, I've put this image in here. And we can basically delete the green screen also in
a picture or a video. So for example, if we wanted
to do an animated title, we're just going to put
a green screen on our, on our screen and then
just write a title, black pencil for example. And then going to delete
through the Chrome key, which I'm going to show you now, the green screen, and we only have the moving
title for example. That's a pretty cool
thing I like to do when I don't want to have just a normal static
title when I want it to be more
interactive fluent. And then I'm just doing
a screen recording of the green screen drum like writing the title,
stopping the recording, importing it to luma fusion, then deleting the green screen in the background and I have a super fluent and
nice-looking title. And how are we gonna do
this is that we basically again joined to the
editing mode here. And you can see now here I'm just gonna
put this a bit down, is that we have when we go down here to the
color grading mode. And then we go
basically to the key, to the lock and the
key symbol here. And then we go to
green script key. As you can see now on the green, that the software
detected is gone. And we can basically put
this one, for example here. And as you can see, the
green screen is gone. And we can work with that, that works for
videos and audios. And it's pretty simple
and nice if we want to put it back or want
to edit something, for example, if it's not a green screen and
our background, if it's a different color, then we can also edit it here. Or we can change some
other settings here. If you want to delete it,
it is gonna delete it here, the whole, the whole key. And then you can
also do this one. And that's basically it
about the green screen.
27. finish: So guys, if you've
listened until here, I want to thank you very, very much for your attention. Now we're just going to
cover the last topic, which is also pretty easy
and fast and which covers basically everything about
finishing the product and exporting the product
and the right settings. If you like the course so far, I would be really, really thankful if you
give a five-star rating, that would really
help me because the course also did a lit, a little bit of work for me. Would be pretty cool
if you could leave a nice comment and
five-star rating. And I hope to see you in some of my other course that I have
maybe a check-off my profile. And now we're just
going to dive into the last topic which is
about finishing the project.
28. finish: The last topic now is about
finishing the project. We're going to finish
a project with this small button right down
here, the upload symbol. And this is, for
example, our project. Now we have this fade-out here. It's a very short one. We just edited a
bit of the audio, a bit of the color grading
and have a short ending here. To finish it, we're
just going to click this button and
then you can see we have the option to choose
between several things here. If we cannot, for example, only export the VM, the audio material, like
not the video material, only the whole
project as an audio, we can also do it has a
normal film which will be 90% of the time the things
that you will probably choose, because that's basically
the whole project itself. Without anything missing. We have luma fusion
project package, which is basically a package that you then have on your PC. If you're going to, for example, delete luma fusion
and you want to have the project back here
in your project menu, which I've shown you
some lectures earlier. Then you should also download
as a project package. You can go back to
it and edit it again and snapshots something and we really don't need
this one also not. So we're just gonna
choose film here. Then we have the possibility to, for example, and upload
it straight to YouTube. I like it more to
just drop it into my, into my personal photos and afterwards upload it to
YouTube for example. But you can also add drop it or put it into
your finder Vimeo, we have couple of options here. If you want to have more
options to where we can export our project here we find
the available sources here. There are a lot of them. Dropbox, Google Drive,
OneDrive for example. Don't use them a lot, but just gonna choose
the photos here. And as you can see now, there's a Settings window
opening where we can again then choose the solution
of our, of our video. In this case it's fork. You can also see luma
fusion also gave us a hint which kind of resolution is
connected to which device. Gopro deja, iPhone for example, the bill for the
picture frequencies, for example, we can
also change your butt. As I said before,
most of the times, luma fusion is already putting
the right settings here. You should just check before
you finished a product. It's whether all the
main settings are already perfect for your target
source where you want to, in the end, upload the videos. For example, if it's
for Instagram and 3,848 times 2160 as a
solution wouldn't be, wouldn't be good because
it's the wrong format. And Instagram always
needs 11 format, so we're going to have to edit. Here's something I'm
not gonna do this now, but I hope you know what I mean. You can now see here also how much base you
get left on your PC. Because for sure It's
also going to take some working space on your PC. So as you can see, this clip
will only take six seconds to am finished rendering. So I'm just going to
check everything here. I think I'm fine with
all the settings. It's going to come out as
an MPEG-4 video format. But we can also, if we want to edit
something here about it, it's a normal video, another
virtual reality video. And so as you can see here, the settings are already
in the right position. And then we're just
going to click up here the finishing button. And the firm is
getting finished. It's pretty fast now, and we're going to have
this one in our January. So guys, thanks very much
for listening until here. I hope you could really
learn a lot of things, a lot of new things
with my course. It was a really fast course
with only the basics of luma fusion because
you don't want to spend 810 hours if
you're just wanted to edit some faster than nice
videos on a video course. So basically, if you enjoyed
it, I would be really, really happy and thankful if
you could leave a comment and a good rating for me that would really
help me in this course. And if you have any questions, you can also always go
down in the comments. I will reply within three days and I will
try to help you there. So thanks a lot
guys, stay healthy, stay cool, and have
fun with luma fusion. Thank you and bye.
