Fundamentals: Section one Fundamentals Lesson one. Introduction to Local s you local s u Is the process off content or site optimization around a particular key? Word or words? Keeping in mind how search engines work with a goal off increasing online visibility or ranking in the local search results. Source engines like Google used sophisticated algorithms to determine the rankings off webpages based on relevancy and authority and the go off search engines to deliver the most useful content to the users. You men difference between local and national s u is besides optimizing for key words you want to run for, you need to optimize for a particular location as well. So in this case, besides just optimizing for key words, you need to signal to google the locations where you're located in In order for Google to recognize you as being a local business, right, a local s u follows the same ranking factors as normal as you. So local ASIO and it's kind of like a subset off normal s. You're right. So it follows everything as with order, would look not national sus For like the three men, ranking factors are authority which mainly deals with back Ling social signals are how authority your website is relevancy, or how relevant your content is to the user's query and user experience, or how users behave with your content or site. For example, how long they spent on your site, right? Do they like your side or nor like it? If they really like your side, they would, you know, navigate throughout different section on your size. Something like that. The two men ranking factors which are only for local ASIO are topical relevancy on locality relevancy. I'll talk about what does this mean in the next life? Understand topical and locality relevancy. Topical relevancy is determined by the topic being discussed on your website, whereas locality love relevancy is how relevant your website is based on a particular locations. So let me give you an example in this case. For example, if you're running a local computer repair shop, generally you would have a home page full about service, contact us and maybe a blocked page, right? Just a typical what a normal local service business website would look like. The majority of the content of your site is about computer repair, right, because your home page will be talking about Columbia repair or any other related service. For example, laptop repair or, let's say, a complete recovery repair something like that. Thus, your topical relevancy is about computer repair is what your general website theme is all about, right? Like you'll be talking Malia about computer repair in general and other related topics. So your topical relevance your your general website theme is about computer repair. Generally for local, as your topical relevancy has already bean, um, discuss right because, for example, if you have different different number of pages discussing on a similar topic than you already built, the topic of Ellen said that Google is looking for. For example, if you have less service, you may improve your topical relevancy using your block article something like that, which I'll talk about in my upcoming lessons. In case of locality relevancy, you need to a signal to Google about your locations. This can be done in various way, for example, having your clear address on the website and better Google map etcetera, which will be discussed and later on this course. And that's all for the first lesson. See the next lesson 3. Setting Up Necessary Plugins: listen to setting up necessary plug ins and themes for WordPress. In this video, I'll introduce you to a couple of plug ins which will help leverage your WordPress local ASIO to the next effort. Starting off the list. We've got your essay or anything similar. For example, rank math all in one s your pack, etcetera. This essentially is an S u all in one plug ins which will help you do anything with regards to ask you on your website from helping you optimize your content to summit in your side to Google Search console. The chances are you have probably install anyone of this before, but if you haven't, I recommend you go after your s U due to its ease of use and beginners friendly. Next is WP Fossas Cash. This is a cashing plug in ritual health improves your website pay speed or loading time. According to Google, pay speed is one of their ranking factors. Although optimize this plug in will help optimize your website at a court level toe further enhance your pace. Be w piece much or e w w image optimizer These to plug ins are the image compressing plug ins which will help reduce your image size on the website. The majors are one of the main culprit which slows down your pay speed. Read directions reduction is the process off, redirecting your website or content from one location to another. This plug ins will help you thus that in a matter of clicks at FC M stands for Heather food or content manager. This essentially will allow you to pay any sleep it off court into your WordPress website, which you can select the locations where you want the court to be. In a matter of clicks. This plug ins will come into play when we, uh need to install the schema mark up on the website, which I'll teach you in the upcoming lecture and the recommended themes, which I always tell my clients and anyone who wants to have a good WordPress website is either Astra generate press or ocean WP in this tutorial I've built on the Web site from scratch, which I'll be demonstrating you how to do it and everything I'll be teaching on an actual website and I'll be using the theme called Astra Theme. So without further ado, let me show you the website and installed these plug ins alongside with you. So this is the website that have built specifically for this course. And this is the barbecue place is essentially a sticks and barbecue local website. As you can see, it is the actual website. All right, so I'll be using this website throughout the course would be demonstrating you how to apply Asian everything. I'll be teaching on the actual real website. Right. So this is the back end of my website and let me just go ahead and install it on the replay Guinness, which I just introduce you to. So go ahead and add to plug ins, so starting off we go for your S e o Wright use s you. So go ahead and install it. I'll be teaching you how to set up yours s You're in this particular video as well, so you can follow along right? And other plug ins. I'll be teaching you along the way when they're coming needs. So once you have install yours, plug and go ahead and go to the settings above and click on configuration visit. All right, so this comes when you know the first step is to whether, um, tell the plug in whether your scientist life and ready to be index or your side is still under construction. In this case, I'll just click the first option and you can click on next. And what does this side represent? We can choose from any of the following here, right? They're in this case. My site is essentially a small offline business is a restaurant website. Right. So here you can name your website. So in this case, you can is this select us well, you whether you're an organization or person. So in this case, we're an organization, right? Where your business websites where you can type in anything. So the name of the website In this case, I'll just type local S C o course, right? Like and then you can connect your website to your social media accounts from here as well by pit placing your you're out here In this case, I'll just skip for now, right? And then you can select which, with section of your website, you want it to be index or short on Google. So you want the pose or the blocks of the index and you want all the pages to be index and the templates. This actually comes with the theme right? Sometimes. So you wouldn't want this to be displaced or just click No, right or anything extra, which you have on your website. You simply click no there and click on next. You have multiple authors. In this case, I would take no right. And in this anything how you would want your side to be, you know, displaying on Google sources. Sometimes you see the dash right or something like that. So in this case, I'll just leave it us it is, and that's it. You have set out the plug ins and just click on next and, you know, close the wizard here. So there you go. You've got your first yours plugging set up next. Let me just go ahead and install a couple of plug. It's right. So next we have WP fosters cash. Let's go ahead and install it. There are actually many off the cashing flagging out there, but I recommend using WP Facets Castle duty, its ease of use and beginners friendly interface. Okay, so once we've done that, I'll just leave it for now, right just no need to activate it for now because I'll be showing it in my technical local astro section. So next, just go ahead and install auto optimize. Although optimized is essentially an optional plug in right where you can install it or if you don't want to, then that's fine us. Well, this will essentially help speed your website to the next level. But sometimes for some themes, it may cause some conflict. So you may not know need to install it. It's not compulsory here. All right, so next one, you can install either WPs much or e w w image optimizer. But for me, I like to go for they'll be peace, much duty, its ease of use as well. Just go ahead and install it. All right? So it can either activate it right now or just leave it later on. That's fine. Us. Well, we're not going to use it anyway right now. And, uh, next one we've got as FC m right which will help you pay is any snippet of court on your website on any particle in locations. This will come in handy when we actually installed a schema markup court on a website, so just leave it for not going to activate it, right? And that's all for all the plug ins and the theme. As I said, I've used Astra theme in this case, so let me just show you that as well. It's a very lightweight team and and it also comes with many handy feature. So I recommend you go after Astra theme, as you can see here, and that's all for the video soon, the next lesson. 4. Connect Website To Google's Tools: Lesson three Connect website to search console and analytics. Google Search Consul is a free service offered by Google that helps you monitor, maintain and troubleshoot your sights. Prisons in Google Search Results When you Anna last, your Google search consul reports, you get inside through the number of impressions, the clicks and the positions for each and every keywords your scientists ranking for as well, if the various issues which could prevent your side from being discovered on Google. Google Analytics, on the other hand, is a free website athletic service offered by Google that gives you insight into how users find and use your website. For instance, a traffic source uses behaviors and the real time traffic report. Now, in this lecture out demonstrate to you on how to set up and connect these two tool to your website. So, without further ado, let's get started. First, we're going to set up the Google analytics because when you have to set up your Google search console, you need to actually verify the ownership of your website. And one of the ways you can do that is through your Google analytics. So it's much easier to, uh, connect your side to go good. An index first. So go ahead on Google and Chives and Google Analytics, and the first results should be click on the results. And once you access to page, you will find something elaborate similar to this. But I've already created the account before, so maybe a little bit different, but very similar to what you'll see in the screen right now. So click on the create account here and enter your count name. So accounting could be anything. So, for example, in this case, I would may name it as local S E. O course and then just live all these, you know, click and right, and then click on next year and then next. You wouldn't need to select which type of properties since you're going to track your website. So you would leave it as Web property in this case and then click on next. Next. Enter your website name, website name Could be anything a swell. So let me just name the same as my account name. It s your course and the website. You're all here. So let me just go ahead and grab my website. You're out. Okay. So next you select your industri categories, this doesn't matter. You can select anything. It will have any effect on your tracking warts over. So in this case, I'm gonna slug it as business and industrial marketers. Just foreign sake of example here and select. This is SD DPS as well. And then once you've done that, just click on, create and then you'll be prompted to this kind of stream. Just click on, accept these terms and conditions and accept all. And once you've done that, um, you'll get a kind of what we call us a tracking I d or code very new to essentially paste this to your website in orderto connected to the tool. So I've locked into my, um wordpress website, my back and website. Now, in order to pace the court, you can either do it through pasting into your own theme or use the plug in which I introduced you earlier. That is the ash FC M plug ins. So go ahead and activate the plug ins. As I mentioned earlier, this plug ins will essentially helps you, um, keep track of all the court that you need to pay extra to your website so for instance, will use this plug in against when it comes to passing the schema court on your website. So go ahead and copy all the court here and go to the plug in settings and click on at new here. You name the snippets or the type. Of course that you want toe add to your website. So in this case, I would name it s Google Analytics and the side display would be side. Why? This is essentially the location where you want to keep track. So we want to keep track of all of all the pages on the website. So we'll leave it as it is and just go ahead and keep paste on this and the rest. Just leave it as it is and then click on save. And there you go. You're successfully connected your side to the school athletics in order to check if everything is connected up successfully or north, you can go ahead and access the site and go to your Google Analytics and click on the home section here with Google Analytics. You will be able to keep track of all the rial time active users on your website so we'll check and see if there's any active users or not. So right now we're currently being active on the websites issued display us one users if everything is connected up successfully. As you can see, there's one user active right now, and things seems to be all right in this case. So once you've done with the ghoul athletics, next is to actually connect your side to Google Search console. So go ahead and type in Google Google Search Council and click on the first link and then click on the start. Now Button and Google Search Consul in 2019 versions, they have actually improved the way of how you can actually, um, like, kinda verify your ownership. So there's a second raises domain and you're out prefix when you click on demands you essentially, we can very fire for each and every version of your website. Whether your website has www perfect innit or STD p or STD PS, or even if you're side has a sub dome into it, so it doesn't matter. You can use this method, but the downside of this method is eyes actually makes it very difficult for you to actually verify you have to do it via the DNS verifications. So I would suggest you to choose that you're out prefix. But when you actually use this method, make sure that you entered the exact, um domain of your website with the everything here, as you can see. Like, for instance, if your website contains ah STD ps, you would need to include it as well. Otherwise it will be treated us to different website. So just past the exact, uh, you're out of your website and click on continue. As you can see here, um, the order ship is auto verify. As I said, I already created my Google analytics account and automatically the Google search console will verify my ownership through Google medics account. In this video, I'll go through the steps and show you how to actually do the stuff here. So without further ado get, the less you started. First, make sure you have your industry name in the Google. My business name after your business name. So, for example, you have got a restaurant business, then you would have your rest, nor name plus the keyword or your industry name alongside with it. Second, list your business in relevant categories about 3 to 5 should be enough. But don't go too overboard. Us. You remember while you were claiming for who go my business Google asks you to enter your categories. Now that essentially is what called us a primary categories. But once you've got your business verified, you can add up to 20 calories. In my experience, around 3 to 5 should be enough next, filling all the necessary details that is the address, email, phone number and info or about section. When writing about the section, don't forget to include key worth you want to run for. For example, if you're running a restaurant business than you would have the word restaurant or business or something like the cuisines or the type of food that you serve, make sure that information you're giving to Google is relevant to your business or industry . Next, upload high quality images, geo tacked images if you didn't have use smartphones to take pictures. Now, quality images is one of the men. Ranking factors for Google mud business and JI attack here means basically including or putting the locations of your business inside the image. So this will again health Google understand that you are actually a local business in a particular area. So my business name is take Jackie in this case and the industry or the keyword which I'm targeting here is this particular Cuba, as you can see So you you can have your industry named after your name Something like this . And this will help you rank higher in the maps. Next less your business in relevant batteries around 3 to 5 should be enough. But don't go too overboard. So once you log in to your Google my business, after your business is very far, you'll see some of the dashboard something like this, so you can go ahead and go to the section versus in four. And in order to add more categories, you can simply click on the second option here, just right below your business him in this case, As you can see here, I've added three categories in this case, right? So I'm basically an Internet marking service, also offering ref designer or Web designing and development as well as a marketing agency. As you're gonna see here, these categories will help. Google understands what my business all about to add more categories that simply clicks on thes type of, um, Penn icon and click on at another category here. As you can see, okay, Next step is to feel all the necessary details. That is the address email for number and above section. So all these information can be feel within this page or section itself, as you can see, so starting off with the address you have might have already done this in your once when you are claiming your listing. So if you want to make any changes, you can simply click on the Penn icon here, right? And as I told you a while, claiming for business, you can also add other service area. Wish you serve right. As you can see here, these are the descriptions about my business, and if you remember from the slice, I told that you need to write, um, when writing for the information, you need to include a key, whether you want to run for us. Well, so my in my case, my business is actually s u and, you know, online marketing agency. So I'm adding something like S e O there. And the location is cells. You can see this. My look, the location where operating in and also other related keywords or service, which I'm offerings, for example, PPC advertising, Um, social media marketing and also a little bit information about my business for my clients or users. As you can see here currently, there's no ji attacks or locations being called into my image yet. No, you need toe first. Get your coordinate off the where your website is, you know, located right? So how can you could do that? Simply goes toe maps dot google dot com, go to Google maps and get your business coordination there. What you need is, ah, latitude and longitude, as you can see here, the latitude and longitude we need. All right. So go ahead and search for your business in, uh, Google Maps. Right? So once you've searched for it, you can simply right click on that and click on what's here. You can click on your business in this case. Like in this case, I'm using my business in order to demonstrate so you can search for a business and click on , um, the locations here and click on bread. The coordinates are being listed here. Once you've got a list of keywords that you're targeting for your website, you need to clean out all the unnecessary keyword, for example, any branded keywords or any cures that you don't want to rank for. And once you you have cleared out all the innocents. Rick, you work. You need to qualify the keywords to use as a primary keywords. Now we were. Qualifying process is essentially one of the most important step as it helps you see which keywords your side is capable off. Ranking for on the last step is to map out key words to each and, you know page on your website keyword mapping for local s you. As to wish page on your site rank for which keyword here are three things you to consider when doing keyword mapping. Number one key work number two You're all structure or how the euro is being structured and number three the page you want to rank for. Without further ado, let me guide you through the keyword resource process. Step by step. Not every Remember from the slide. The first step is to identify at these 3 to 5 competitors in your industry. Now, for the sake off example, I'm going to take one of the competitors for this particular keyword Cometa repair at Minden that London is a city in Canada, so I'll be taking one of the websites wrecking the first page, which are, which is the local websites in, you know, Edmund in. So for example, I take this particular side here. So, as as you can see, this is a computer repair website business here. So go ahead and copied, Uh, the UL here. Next you go through the Frito call uber. So guess here you can know down the euro, Neil Patel dot com for slash uber suggests and paste down the your all of your competitors and click on search. Now, you let the to process the data, and within a few seconds you should get all the data required. As you can see here, once the tool is process, you'll see various data that you know you're about your competitors while you need to do Is your school down to the section where says s your keywords and click on the button view all s your keywords this domain ranks for as you can see here, these are a list of key words that your competitors are ranking for No. Next you need to gather all these data and you need to clean out all the unnecessary keyword. Now, let me show you the easiest way and the fastest where you can do this. First you go ahead and export key work to a CSP file here. And once you have got your key work less in the CSB. Pharrell, you can go ahead toe google sheet. So what we're going to do is we're going toe import all the keyword less into google sheets , and we're gonna do the key were clean up process. So let me go ahead and move this important this data toe Google sheet Let me place this in the deck. Stop. Okay. Next you goto file and click on import here and click on upload and click Select file from your device and then take the file. Once you uploaded a far just click. Simply click on import button here. Important data. Just wait for a while. Let the data is being processed. As you can see here, this is the list off all the keywords. This particular your Alice ranking for next. We need to clean up all the unnecessary keywords. For example, any branded key words or keywords that you don't want to rank for. Um, just for example, you thes are the keyword That's my side don't want to write for just for the sake, off example. So go ahead and delete all these keywords. Okay, So you wouldn't want to do this process process manually. Just go ahead and find different keywords that your side I don't want to run for something like that. Okay. And, uh, in order to make this less much more efficient, you would want toe kind of sort. This according to the surgeon volume is well, the search volume is define us the number of searches per month on any particular key work . Your goal here is to try to target it keywords which are easy to run for and has the highest number of searches per month. You know, because with the highest number off, search volume means more number of traffic. More number of traffic means more conversions. So let me go ahead and kind of structure this out a little bit, and we fill it up with colors and send her up. This? Yes, well, so let me just go ahead and sword the keyword. According to sources volume, in order to do that, you can simply click on the data and click on sort range and sword biased column C which, in case here is a search volume and click on sword. As you can see here, um, the keywords, eyes being sword it according to the story for room. Okay, then what? We don't need this column and this column in this case, So go ahead and delete it as well as this column. Here, let me expand this out a little bit. A swell. Okay. Next. You wouldn't want to add one more column, which you can call it. Anything that you want. But in my case, let me call it. Can I rank? Because in the next step, you would want toe check whether your side can rang for a particular keyword or not. And let me put this as your l A Swell. This. Let me name it as my Europe because we need to do the key work mapping process. You can copy this exact template, which I'll live a link in the course, or you can go ahead and dollar to the swell. Okay, So next the fourth step is to qualify. The key word do you use as a primary key word? Okay, So in order to qualify the keyword. You're going to use the free tool called Moss Bar. Now you can easily install this toe by going toe Google and typing moss Bar and click on the first Link, and you can click on Download Mosebar free here. Or you can simply goes toe the Google Google Chrome Extension. Um, store here as well and go ahead and that installed the tool here and operating up installed . It will be prison something as it is on the top. As you can see here now, the reason why we're using Moss Bar to qualify for keyword is because, um, Moss bar is essentially a tool which helps you figure out the domain authority and page authority of the side. The main authority is essentially a metrics by a company called Mosque, which used to check how authority of the site is based on back lings. Now, back wings are one of the most important ranking factors on Google and the side record. The first page has the highest correlations with the number of back ling, which means if the site or a page has more back wings, it has higher number of chances or rank on the first page. No, I'll talk about back links again in the off page Seo section. But just bear with me in this case for us. So, for example, we want to check it. We can rang for Q Were less a laptop repair Edmondson. So you go to Google and typing laptop repair Edmondson and then you go ahead and toggle on the moss bark room on the top. Now, once you have traveled moss bar, you see the value called domain authority D and ph page authority Azi, you can see here is kind of arranged in descending order, like the side normally decide with the highest domain authority will be always ranking in the top. And when you're keeping score than you find sides with, um, lower demand authority here. Now, what you would want to find is the key words which are easy to rank for. Or, um, when a keyword and what do you mean by this is you see the majority of the side regular force page has less demon authority means you are capable of drinking like, for example, if I have a website or you have a website off them an authority, let's say five or 10 and the majority of our website record The fourth page hasn't been authority of laissez. Some something near to you, right? Lesser 10 or 15. Then you have a high chance of ranking. But if on the first pain contents, all the sites having less a domain authority of 90 or 80 then you will find it a very difficult time to run for those key where we call it us a difficult keyword to rank for, Right. So in this case, and you can see here, the top two results, um, has the domain authority off 67 81 then 39 here. And then comes 11 11 52 16 6 25 15. As you see, there's a mix here. Let's say my side. The male authority is, um, 15. Then I still have a chance of ranking of the first week because, as you can see, there's a side with the men authority of six here. Then I can obviously, you know, try to rank for it. So according to me, this keyword does. You know, I can rank for this site, So if you're certain that you can rank for this side. Just go ahead and typing yes, or any indication that you can run for it. No. Let me go ahead and send this as well and put it in the center. Okay, well, the keyword worst laptop repair at Minton. Okay, so I can rank for it. Next is computer software repairs, Computer software repair. You can go ahead and type in computer solved where repair and check If you're cited Capable of ranking for north. Now you'll see that there's, ah different content rank in the first place with a very high different authority. Like 96. 80 to 90 75 93. So if your side the man authorities 15 or 16 you will have no chance of competing against this big site. So in this case, it would be a no here. So now what you would want to do is to repeat the process, like manually, go through each and every keyword and repeat the process. And ultimately, you get a list of key words that you can rank for. And you can delete out the key word, but that you cannot rank for now in the Lex next lecture, I'll teach you how to map key work using keyword mapping techniques. So thank you for watching through the next lecture. 11. Keyword Research For Local SEO: Part-2: once you have, qualify your keywords. Next, you need to map out the keywords to the euro on your side. As I mentioned in the previous lecture, I've taken only one particular competitor in this case. But in your case, you may take less than 35 or even 10 competitors, and you should end up having less 100 250 keywords in your list. So I went ahead and cleaned out the keywords which mice icon rank for and only left with the keywords or to qualify cure. In this case, as mentioned before my size name is abc dot com, just for the sake of example and the main authority off. 15. So the key what mapping here essentially means looking at the key work and the euro of your competitors. Let in this case this keyword laptop repair Edmondson my side is capable of ranking for, and then you can have a look at your competitors and see their your L structure. All you have to do is right out the exact you're out. Now, as in my case, I have only one competitors, so the euro will be seen. But for in your case, you may have less than 10 competitors, and it's competitors may have less, you know, a different your l structure. All you have to do is look out for in a common you're out structure and take out the which the majority of your competitors are doing. I'm sure the majority of your competitors will have similar Ural structures so you can follow a similar sting here. No need to be exact. Just find something similar. So all you have to do is go ahead and see and map out the compares and the euro and ah, keyword. So I, in my case again, right. This is my website dot com for slash service and four slash laptop repair. Edmondson as you're going to see here, um, normally, the euro should be listed out in a very logical manual. Like laptop repair is a service inside, you know, our this particle of business. So it is listed under the service categories or, you know, section here. And this one is the home page, which means that the home pages ranking for this particle keywords now you need tohave this keywords on your home presence on your home page, which we'll talk about in the next lecture off. How to sl optimize your content. The hope you're getting the idea Here, let me go ahead and recap every process for you. Number one you find at least 3 to 5 competitors in your industry and no down their euro number to go to the free. To call uber suggest and paste in each and every cue your all of your competitors and export their keyword less to see us. Before number three, you import all the data to the Google sheets just for the sake off simplicity and efficiency. And you can kind of, like combine all together to have less a, um, 200 to 300 kid number of keywords. Number four. You qualify the keywords by looking at the domain authority, which essentially means the number of back links. Ranking on the first page and see if your site is capable off writing for that those keywords or not, and number five, you map out the euro structure off your page of your website. Now you can use this particular template. Once you have got all the everything sorted out, you can use this template and start one by one creating page on your website and make them s you optimize. Now, before jumping to the next lecture, let me introduce you to one of the concept, which is also another important thing in local s. Oh, and s you in general. Now, this concept is call us Alice. I and synonyms. Alice, I This cop is what we call us Led and semantic indexing Are keywords closely related to your main or primary keywords? Main or primary key? Words are the key words, but you have qualified. Remember in the sheet. So, for example, your main cure this Empire state building your out This like your word would be in y see Times Square, etcetera. Synonyms are keywords which conveyed the same or similar meaning to the primary key word. Alice, I and synonyms help increase the relevancy of the content, which ultimately helps us rank higher with fewer back wings. Google looks at Al S I and surnames as the key or to relevancy. So the more relevant your content is, the better you're going to rank. You can use the free or line tools like Alice. I graphed dot com to find and generate Alice I keywords idea, which I'll be showing you in the next lecture off. How to write as your optimize content. That's all for this lecture in the next lecture. 12. How To Write SEO Optimized Content: Part-1: Lesson two. How to write SQL Optimize content and this Lecter I'll got you step by step on how to write an s your optimized content on your local site. Number one. You have the exact match of your main keyword in the title tack, plus other related keywords plus modifiers to compel people to click through. Don't forget to put your keyword in the middle description as well. Title or title attack. This one get displayed in the Google search results. Us those blue links and what matter? Descriptions are those small descriptions under those blue links. When writing, keep a maximum of 3 to 4 lines for paragraphs. This will help users read your content easier that you need to keep the tax at least 500 words long per page. Google Culture. 500 words to be a minimum off quality content, but you can write as many as you want, but make sure that you right at least 500 words per page. Then you would want to subdivide the content into multiple heading tax bullet points tables , etcetera. This will help user digest your content easier. Have the main keyword in the ash won Tak and at least at most, one in the S to attack other related keywords and other heading tax. That's one tax is one of the most important elements on your page that you would want to have to make sure that you have your main key were present in the H one tack and at most one time in one of the S two attacks. And then you wouldn't want to have other related keywords in other heading tax. Then you would have to happen. May have the main keywords prison in the body of your article at least three times. Make sure that you don't go overboard on this as it may lead toe small Igor algorithmic Penalty penalty Internal link to relevant pages. Extra link to relevant source. Internal linking means Linking from one of your page on your website toe another page on your website. Excellent links mean linking out from one from your page on the website to other websites. This health build trust and authority. When Google looks at your page, give a meaningful file name to images. Don't forget the I'll tack when you name your image file. Make sure you give it some meaningful filing. For example, if you're uploading a picture off a computer repair, um, for your computer repair shop that you name your image fire name of something like computer repair, plus your city name something like that. And also don't forget the Al tack or all text I'll text is what Google search engines. Understand what your image is all about. Don't worry. I'll go. You. I'll go through it step by step and how toe when I would demonstrate on how to do it on a real world website. Have keyword in the euro. You would want to have your main cure president on your girl and also make sure that your you are out. Don't it's not too long. And lastly Sprinkle in the Alice I and synonyms as many as possible where Wade makes in. In the previous lecture, I told you how Google views ls. I and Sidney must one of the most important thing on the Web site or a page, so make sure that you Sprinkle these keywords across on your pages. So without further ado, let me team Australia on a real world example. Step by step process. So here I'm back on my wordpress dashboard. Then what I'm gonna what I'm going to modify as, for example, is going to be my home page. And let me just pull out a list of keywords which I went ahead and gather from my own local as your course. They're more websites. So here's some of the list of keywords related to my industry. As I said earlier, um, my website is going to be about barbecue and steak, so these are gonna be the list of keywords, and my website local area is gonna be in Richmond, Virginia. So these are some of the list of cures that I'm targeting based on my keyword research process. Um, the my Manti word will be Virginia barbecue. Are you going to see that we've got a couple of related keywords such as B A barbecue, be barbecue menu, Virginia barbecue catering BBQ restaurants, Richmond V, a barbecue place, Richmond. All these keywords and the pages that competence rang for only their home pages in this case. Now, as I said, I'm going to modify only the home page. But it depends on your business, like in my own in my business. In this case, only the home page ranks for all the main keywords here because, as you already know is is like a very small signage. So there won't be any other extra pages unless know except the menu page about us Page and a maybe a contact ISS contact page, something like that. In the previous case where I showed you the example of computer repair, you can find that the previous sheet you can see that they're different pages ranking for different keywords. Like in this case like this, the website. And then they've got a laptop repair Edmund than page. And you can see here resumed this for us. Well, as you can see here for the keyword laptop repair, Edmund in their laptop repair Emerton page rank for this keyword, and then their homepage ranks for two of the key words. And they've got this pages like Mac repair eminent rank for the keyword, huh? Hard drive repair and within something like that. So you have to look at your competitors and see what pages rank for which keywords. And that's why I recommended you toe use the keyword mapping process here so you can come up with a clear strategy and is the particular website which I took for, um, the keyword research in the previous lecture. As you can see, they have different pages, and each pages rank for each page ranks for different keywords, but in my case is going to be a home page, which ranks for all the men keywords. So I'm going to modify the compete in this case. So this is my home page. First, if you remember from the steps, we need to have the exact match off main keyword in the title and other related keywords plus the modifiers. So in order to modify your title attack and made a description, you can use a Yost s you plug ins, as I mentioned earlier. So go ahead and I did it. Just click on it. It here. This is the home page, which I'm targeting or I want O s. You optimize the patient, so go ahead. And it did the page and then scroll down to the section at the bottom where says Yeo's s CEO, and then here you can enter the focus keyword key phrase or your main key word here. So let me pull up the no Pat for my manky were in this case would be Virginia barbecue. So I would want to have this present as a mike manky works over junior barbecue. And then what? This Also yours also show you a step at preview or how your website would be displayed on Google search results. On the fourth part is the title attack the home here in this case and the nexus your website name here. So, in order to modify the title track medals, the description, just click on a snippet, and then you get a bunch of option down below here. So, um, forces your title attack. Here s your title. You can edit it right here, or you can edit it here a swell. So I just left for a sec off simplicity. I'm going Toe added Here. So let me Right, Virginia barbecue. This is the main keyword that I want to target. And then next I would add any other related keywords or modifiers, which makes it compelling for people to click through. Because, remember, there's no point of ranking on the first page if no one actually clicks on your results. So you would want tomorrow as some of the words toe your kite attack here. So, for example, Virginia, by Becue, you can write just on something like she best barbecue and Stig in town, something like that. Just for a second example. Now, this makes it looks much, uh, clickable, as you can see here, this habit well, looks like in the Google search results. And next one, you need to ride the meta descriptions. The meta description is what get displayed under the blue real link. If you remember on Google how Google actually present their search, so go ahead and type of lesser like looking for cheap barbecue and stick in Virginia unless I'm targeting Richmond. So it's gonna be a rich more v a. So look no further us. The name of the shop which I said was the B B Q place, right? A barbecue piers barbecue. Place off first the best. Um, let's say now I can also add a main keyword or any other related keywords. So I offer the best barbecue in Virginia. Something like that. This may not be the exact match, but go look. I understand that is actually a barbecue in Virginia or Virginia. barbecue, which means the same here as you can see here. Joo's highlights out that you have actually included your keyword here. Remember not to write too much like of your stop in your key were too much. Otherwise, this who looks too spammy. All right, so that's nesa for step done. Next, uh, unit toe. When you're writing, you need to keep a maximum of 3 to 4 lines for paragraphs. So let me go ahead and update the page for us. And then next I will going. I'm going to edit the page using the elemental page builder here, which is the tool or plug in which I used to build this page. Now it depends on how you have built your page on your board press. In this case, I've used Element her page builder, so I'm going to edit. Using elements are here. This is actually a template which I installed earlier, along with the tea theme. So I'll have toe modify different stuff here. A swell, that whatever you're seeing right now, this came from the theme itself, so I didn't actually made any change so far. Okay, So next, you actually need to, uh keep a maximum of 3 to 4 lines per paragraphs. As you can see here, um, the samples make it very clear and clear that, you know, it looks very easy to read as well. So let's keep in mind that next you subdivide the content into multiple heading. How heading Tax bullet points, tables, Accetta. This will enhance the readability. So, as you can see here, it is divided into, you know, different section. Like as you can see, the format is look looking very nice. So this also is checked us Well, in this case, As you can see, it depends on how you have designed your home page. Next, you have the main keyword in the Etch one and at most in the ash to tax and other related keywords in other heading tax. So if you have a look here, this is not correct yet. This is the ash won Tak and s one tag doesn't contain my main keywords. As you can see this, the ash won tak here. So my main keyword is a virgin. Your barbecue. So I'm going to write Virginia barbecue here and then, um, this one is going to be This is an S three tax. So it depends on how you want to write like this one. Maybe my listen, sticks and barbecue in for Junior in lesser Virginia. Um, in Richmond v a something like that because the Richmond is a city. Okay, so Richman v all right, so as you can see here, let me pull back up my key. Wordless. Remember to Sprinkle have the exact match keywords in the s one tack that I have it. And then these are some of the related skewers that I'm targeting. So I would want to include these across different sections on my website as well as the body of the Texas Well, so I can go ahead. And what if I like, for example, this is the ash won Tak is done. This one also, this is ah, use the about section of one web site. So I would just leave it like that. Maybe this one would be something like featured Dellis Kasi's. Um let me pull this up, okay? It's also would I can just leave it like that. Okay. There's this thing here. Okay? I can include one section here. This this can be as an s to attack, for example, as to attack. And this can be a V a barbecue manual. Right? So I can include it here. So v a barbecue man, new here. As you can see, this is a menu here, right? So I can include as two attacks here. A swell. So one of the another key word I've covered. Right? So, um, there's also virgin Air Barbecue catering. Now I can add another section of my home page which talks about catering services. Well, this is what also people are looking for, so just werkself resemble. I'm going to a concert that this is done? No. Okay, next one is toe. Have manky were present in the body of the article at least three times, right? At least three times. Okay, So remember our main keyword is Virginia barbecue in this section where I talk about my own story, like about section about my own website like business. So here I can go ahead and write. Let's say the barbecue plays is a fine, Let's say, is considered, like, considered last one off the best Virginia, As you can see here, barbecue. I'm including the main key word here in the body as well, Virginia barbecue. And then I can keep on writing something like that. And then I would want to repeat this toe content at least three times throughout. And also, I would want to Sprinkle out. Ah, we want to Sprinkle out all the keywords that I'm targeting us. We're like, for example, barbecue restaurants, Richmond V or something like that. Like best rips in Richmond, like right here as well. Like we are famous for ribs. Uh, cage in Richmond, Something like that. So you can you just have to, you know, like spin sprinkled these keywords throughout your website. You can have rub your page story and you can have them on your ass to attacks. And you're as three tax and also in a different part of your body of the content as well. Okay, And then next, you would want to internal link to relevant pages and extra link toe relevant sources. So extra links is an optional. You don't really have to external links like, for example, let's say your future unless you know on these websites like yelp, good food or Trippett partner than you may add external linked with these sources. And then, you know, internal links basically means linking to another page on your website. Like, for example, this reservation I can link to other patron reps. I like explore menu here. I can link to less a, um a new page on my website. Right. This also create internal links here. So that is also done internal links. And then what else? Here. Next, Whenever you upload your file name your image file, I mean, you need to give a meaningful to it as well. File name. And don't forget the Caltex. So like, for example, like let me take in any of the image here like this image. Let's say I take any of the image from the media library and then let's say ice like this image. As you can see here, the image filing Miss Food to here is also have of some meaningful here as you can see the food and in what press you can easily and get the out text by simply click on the Altec, modify the Al Texan All text section here, as you can see. So let me go ahead and type in food two or less aid is Ah. You can also name with us the menu of the tech of the food as well. Right? So something like that. And once you've done that, you can compete. Click on um, and er and insert image. Something like that. So you get always It'd all text very easily on WordPress as well. Now, that's all for this lecture. In the next lecture, I'll continue demonstrating you how to actually write as you optimized content. 13. How To Write SEO Optimized Content: Part-2: So now you pretty much have done each and every point as forest. The writing s your optimized content is concerned. So let me go through age and every step once again before we move on to the next step Number one have the exact match off the main keyword in the title attack as well as other related keywords and modifiers. To compel people to click through that we have modified using the U. S s your plugger next, right. When writing, keep a maximum of 3 to 4 lives per paragraph. That is also done as far as the template of the theme is concerned. Next, keep the text at least 500 words long per page so accordingly it looks fine in this case. But in your case, you may have to write a little bit more to make it living. No longer at least about 3 500 words should be fine. Then subdivide the content into multiple heading tax bullet points tables, etcetera. Now the designer cell looks pretty easy and easy to read as well as beautiful in itself. So this point is also checked, then have the manky work in the H one and at most one in the US to attack other related keywords in other heading to attack. So that's also done. As you can see here, manky were in the hash, hash, one tack and other letter keywords in the ash to attacks. He's also done have the main keyword present in the body of the article at least three times, so that it also depends when you do it in your website, right, as I've shown and Eric as it, for example, have included the main key word here in the body. And I also would Sprinkle it out throughout the other page, right, plus other related keywords, a swell and then next internal link to relevant pages extra link to external source so that also I also have done that, adding one internal link. This, for the sake of example, give meaningful file name to images. And don't forget the all tax. That's also after Okay, so hope you're getting all the points clear so far. Next is toe have key work in the euro. Now, um, when you're modifying your home page, no matter how many keyword you put in, you know, at the end of the day, it will be just your domain name, right, Because nothing will be changed like this is my WordPress back in. As you can see here, the slug or the euro is slash home, right? But you know, it's the home pay, so it will always be just a domain name. Here, let's say you're optimizing for any inner pages like, for example, your about us or any your service of your service page, and you can clean. Simply click on quick at it, and you know the man keyword that you're targeting. Like, for example, laptop repair. Edmund In in the example that I showed you in the previous lecture, you can simply right laptop repair. Edmund didn't right, York Minke would there. But if you're make you were less is fire or six words long. You may just want to include the main ones. Keep it about maximum of 3 to 4 words. Just don't make the your all too long because there's a high correlation between size ranking on the first page and shark you're out. Google seems to like website or page that has shark. You are all right, so make sure you keep your you Elks Short con size and half your main key were present. And then lastly, Sprinkle in the Alice I and synonyms as many as possible barrel. It makes sense. Okay, Before I go ahead and show you how to find Alice psyche works related to your business, I would like to clarify the difference between red keywords and Alice I keywords. Now, related keywords are keywords. Um, that your pages targeting like it could be three could before it could be even five. Keyword. Like like for in my case, I'm targeting about, um, 6 to 7 key word like, let me show you the list again. As you can see here, one page that is my homepage is targeting 12345677 keywords. These are called us related keywords. There are there the clear words with closely related to each other. Right. It kind of support the content on your page. Now, let's say you have a service paid in your service page. Only target one keyword, then you're realistic. You were. You may or may not have related keywords, right with regards to your service page, but in my case, I do have some related keywords. So these are termers related cures. But when it comes to Al s I keywords, these are keywords which may be not really that to your, um to your content or what you're you want to target. But it kind of makes sense, toe, you know, to be present on the page, like Like, as for the example that I show you, if you're writing about Empire State buildings, then Google expects your content to have the world less there. NYC Times Square. Write all these words which are related to Empire State buildings but not closely related to the subject itself. So you're getting the point here. Okay, So in order to find and generate the Ellis I keywords for your content the easiest where you can do it, go to the website called Alice siggraph dot com, which will, um, fetch you a couple of key words led to your business. Like, for example, my main key word here is a virgin. Your barbecue so I can go ahead and copied a keyword and go into the website and paste in the new Yankee Award here and click on Generate. Oh, no. All you have to do is wait for a while. Let the to process the data should split out a couple of key words. Now, when you analyze the keyword, these are Alice. I keywords. And when you analyze it, some of them may not make sense to you, or some may be completely off the topic so you can ignore those just tried toe, you know, like, include them as much as possible when whatever makes sense. Like, for example, here, Virginia barbecue style. This I can try to include. And then what else? Here, Um, like Virgin Air Korean barbecue. This I may not have toe include, because if I don't offer Korean barbecue in this case, and then what else Here, Um, like barbecue cook off Virginia. It is also something I can include into my body off into the body of my content. Right. You can sift through the list and include as many as you can. It would make sense if you don't have any Alice I keywords. That's fine as well. Google. We eventually understand what you're called until about, but you can't included. That's well and good. Okay, So as far as the writing s you optimized content is concerned that solves for it. Ah, this is just optimizing for the home page. If you need to optimize for any of your inner page, you can follow the same instruction just how I highlighted. And in the next lecture, I'll teach you how to optimize your page for conversion, optimizing for conversion rate. Right, because there's no point, are driving in traffic and getting lots of visitors, but no sales. So in the next lecture, I'll teach you how to optimize your page or website for conversion. So thank you for watching soon the next lecture. 14. Conversion Optimization For Local SEO: Lesson three important things for conversion. There's no point off optimizing your page or content to rank on the first period of Google . At the end of the day, the goals for any local business owners is to make money. In this lecture, I'll tissue some basic steps that you need to keep in mind when optimizing your page for conversion. Number one have a clear address and contact details on the website, preferably above the full that is in a hero section and above the heather. Next, have strong CD or called to actions sprinkled across the pages. Include 2 to 4 testimonials, preferably at least one video testimonial at quality images off your interior exterior team members, etcetera. This helps improving and showing to your customers that your business is legend. Include awards and places you have been featured in this health bilk the social trust and the credibility of your business. Remember to talk about what your prospects will get. That is what's in it for them talking their interest, not just talk about your business. This is a copy writing basics that every business order suit master capture email using league Matt Nix for future marketing For example, you may offer something for free in exchange for your visitors. Email, email, marketing. It's not that, and it's still very effective even in 2020 and lastly set up goal in Google Analytics to track for conversions. Also, be teaching you how to set up the goal on your Google analytics to track your conversions page by page. So without further ado, let me demonstrate these points on the real world. Exact example. So you can follow along and understand. So here I've taken toe loving examples of the website to demonstrate the different points that have just highlighted out Number one. Have a clear address and contact details on the website, preferably above the full in the header and and ah above the header and hero sections. As you can see in this website, the address and information of the business clearly hard at it above the header, as you can see here like these are the opening hours, closing hours and the exact address, as well as the big call call now button here, where the users can easily click call toe call in order to call now and then. Um, besides, it also has a clear information at the bottom. Here at the food, our swells. You can see here exact address and a couple of details that the users might need. This is also another good examples off. Um, like having a clear address so the users can easily recognize next, have strong call to action sprinkled across the pages. Strong call to action could be something that clearly highlight the message that you would want to you wonder users to do the action on your page. For example, in this case, book service for me, I would change the button to something like, um, call now or get a cool today, which makes it much more appealing and create a sense of urgency. But book service is also fine in this case, as you can see. But the floor of this page is would I would actually prefer to add something similar like this across the pages like maybe it's somewhere in this section and also somewhere in this section, something like that. So if the users want to contact, they can easily contact without having to scroll up to the section here. So this is something that I would fix if I were the owner of this website. Next add, um, include 2 to 4 testimonials, preferably at least one video testimonials. So if you scroll down to the testimonial section of this particular business, you'll see that there's this three testimony a box. Now, um, if I were the users or the customers looking for a service, I wouldn't I wouldn't consider this as a good testimonial because, as you can see, here is just a bunch of cold without the the the image off the actual users here. So, um, I would recommend you whenever you put in your testimonials for your visitors, make sure you include their image as well. Also, um, the number of testimonials You should not make it more than six in this for the maximum. So 3 to 3 to four should be enough. But five also should be fine, but no more than six. The numbers in this case, the numbers this three wishes find us well, so but I would prefer to have the images off the customers here and next at quality images of your interior exterior and team members. So, um, if you will have a look at this website or business. You'll see that all the images are kind of like a stock image, like there's no originally in the image that you can see here. These are images taken from Google pictures, right? So if I want to make it much more trustworthy, I would prefer to be something like this particular business. As you can see, um, they have featured their team members with their uniform, as you're gonna see, like, even the background here and here as well. As you can see, it really shows a business legitimacy and trust incredible credibility. Israel. So I river and increase your toe. Do this and also maybe try featuring that your office or your workspace so that also will helps a lot well, next include awards and places you've been featured in. So suppose if you're being future in Let's say, any other local awards or directories like forgettable yelled or something like that, you can have a za feature section as well, which would also help build the business trust and credibility as well. In this case, um, these two sides then kind of included, but, um, like for it, for instance, this business nerds onsides very big, credible business in Canada. So people kind of know them. Us being a bear, big brand. But so they really no need to fort feature these things, but it is your in your case, you may want to have it featured A swell. Okay, Next, you remember to talk about what your prospect will get. That is what's in it for them talking their interest. So this depends on how you have structure out your content. Like, for example, this particular business has written something like our experts can get your broke computer hardware, back toe work. We can get your mother board repair as well suggests replacement or upgrade it required. So this also have something that you can try like, um, talking that you like, Kind of like you're talking to your customers using the word like you or what they will get off your business. Something like that. So this is just a simple copyrighting tips which you can easily find on the Internet. I won't go into details and these stuffs, as this is actually an S e o course. Oh, just for a stake of example. I'm just showing you that whenever you talked all right. You need to make sure that you're talking your customers interest what they will get and why they should take your service, something like that, and on then capture email using lead magnets for future marketing. These both sides doesn't don't have any, um, place to captured email of the user. So I would really recommend you do this as well. For future marketing like it's supposed, they don't decide toe. Take your service today you may try to have something like an exit pop up. Like, for example, if I click close this window, then you may have some popped up. Like which some which may give them something for free in exchange for email. Then later on in the future, do may try to market them or provide them with something less than a 50% off discount or something like that, which works really well, a swell when it comes to conversions. So and lastly, set up goal in Google and then index to, um to track your conversion. So, in order to do that while you have to do is go to sign into your Google Analytics. As you can see here, I've done with my website and then go to the section where says conversions. So you click on conversions and click on goals here and click on Overview. As you can see here, um, this is the first green that you would get if you haven't set up any goals yet to go ahead and click on set up gold button here. Now these sections will display a list of goals that for your website. So go ahead and click on New Goal. If you haven't had any goals here and then we will Olympics kind of provide you with two options here. Number one is that from a template, and number two is from a custom goals. Now, if you're a local business, the chances are you can easily select from any of these templates, which will make it much easier. So like, for example, if you're a restaurant business, you would want to have to go on reservations or make payment. Make a point where something like that, if your service babies business, then you may have a conversion, or unless they contact us or less a fine location, something like that. So these templates are enough lag like in my case. My website is about a stick, and barbecue is a restaurant, so I would maybe create a goal for reservations here. So I just go ahead and click on reservations and click on. Continue and then next. Um, you said on the type like the let their different perimeters with you can defines with your goals. Like, for example, you set of destinations like, for example, ever customers visit a particular page on your website then, um, it means that the conversion is complete. Something like that or a durations means let's say a customer stays on your page more than five minutes. Then that's your conversions or a page pursed screens procession means, let's say, our customers, our customers visit more than one page on your website or two page on your website. Then that's a conversion for you, or you went up even like your customers clicks on any particular section on your website. And that's a conversion for you, like you can define it based on various perimeters. So let me just name it us destination to like it's supposed to reach my contact page and then I would you know, said it doesn't my conversions like conversion is done. At that case, the next you click on continue here. So destinations what? Where you would want it to equals? Like for As you can see here, Google analytics have also given you examples like, for example, use my screen for an app. And for its last tank, you scream out instead of this one. So, like, for example, you my customer reached my contact. Us page means I have, like, my conversion is done. So let me go to my website and take and, uh, the contact US page here contact us. So let me copy it and put it right here. So they said toe only put the You're also OK. So all you have to do is contact us here, which is your page, right? Like it depends on your pain. Like if the customer reach any certain paid on your business on your website means the conversion is complete. Once you've done that, just click on safe. Besides, you can also set a value like, for example, a reservation may cost you less some X amount of dollars like you can set it here. In this case, let's say you defined like a reservation is made less. $100 is credited to you something like that. It means that even there's any reservation made it kind of certain that you'll get $100. Something like that. You can set it as an optional thing here or not. Then you can just topple it off and then click on safe here. You can try and play around with all these metrics, the different types off gold conversions. Then, after you have done that, you can track keep track off all your goes on the goal sections here under or review sections. Or you can also keep tracking us on your home second here. Like if there's any home. Is there any conversions? Then you can keep track it, um, on the section here, here, as you can see, the any conversion goal here. So that's all for this lecture. In the next lecture, I'll talk about how to set up a how to improve your locality relevancy, which is one of the most important local s. Your ranking factors. That's all for it. Soon, the next lecture 15. Improve On-Page Locality Relevancy: Lesson four. Improve on page. Locality relevancy. I've already explained to you what does this mean? But here's a recap. Locality relevancy is one of the most important ranking factors for local s. You. This is because it's like you're saying to Google something like, Hey, Google, Look, I'm running a business in this particular local area. It helps Google understand the location of your business. Better in this lecture our God, you through some of the stuff that you can do to improve your own page. Locality relevancy number one include your actual address as frequently as possible on the website. You can use last the food area, which will be present throughout each and every page on your website. But make sure that you have your address president on your home page, which is one of the first page that Google looks at on your website. Next, you can embed Google maps and all the important details for your Google. My business listings, such as business hours, phone numbers, etcetera, block about things in your local area. For example, if you're running a local computer repair shop in Edmond, in Canada, you may block about things like top five things to look for when she was in Colombia repairing Edmonton, which in this case has the word admitted knitted, which means that you're talking about Edmonton as well as your industry because your your company repair shop or you could just be saying anything about your local area in general. For example, any local events Xterra and lastly, you can link out to your Google my business listing and anything related to your local area from your home page. For example, every keep a Wikipedia article about your town. This against will help. Google understands that your business owners in a particular local area So let me demonstrate thes points one by one, with the help of example. So number one include your address as frequently as possible. As you can see here, I've taken this particular website again, this farcical example. So if you remember this particular side, they already have their website feature on the top. As you're going to see here their address on the top right, And then, besides that, they also have it mention on their food areas. You can see here a swell, so try toe mention your address as frequently as possible throughout your website. Next, embed Google maps and other in four informations about your local area, which can be taken from your Google. My business listening So this particular website hasn't embed the Google map, but besides, they also have added a couple of important information, such as their address, therefore numbers, their contact details, their working hours and their business informations. Um, this particular site has actually an embedded a Google Maps at the bottom of their footers areas you can see here. So and besides also working hours and uh, their about sections, you know, in order to embed Google maps on your website, there is an easy where you can do that first to go to maps, Google dot coms or Google maps and in type in your business name. So, for example, this particular business name is I shaped technologies, and I'll just go ahead and type in I shape technologies and click on your your listings on the map. Once you've got your listings locations on the map, you simply click on share button here and click on embed a map. Now all you have to do is copy this line of cold click on copy HTML and pays it on your website, particularly any real location. Your websites, such as the Food ER and the Matthew, will be displayed as shown in this example and third block about your local area. So this could be anything related to your business or anything related to your local area. In general, for example, this particle business website you look at their blocks location. You see that you know they have some articles related to your toe there industries such as how to remove Mulberry from Mac Fried. Great tips for choosing computer repair service. How to remove adware spyware call from computer So these are business industrially lead related articles. And besides that, they also have something like top five things at Modernise, famous for call five, Cell phone repair service and Edmund. And so they also talk about their own towns or the location where they're operating in in order to make. Google understands that their best their business is running in the town called Edmund in in this case, if you can see here, there's also very important, like, um, it helps improve your locality relevancy a lot, and also one of my clients performance, which, after doing this particular method, he was able to increase his traffic by almost doubled and as well as the ranking and fourth link out to Google my business or anything related to your, um they're your count or location in particular. So, for example, if you analyze this particular size home page, you will see that this side links out with their Google my business listings, if you can see here. So if I open this link, you see that it links out of their Google my business listings here, as you can see and they also link out toe there, um, their maps location here is well, so these links out to their maps. And besides that, they also links to the article on Wikipedia about that mountain as well, in this case. So all you have to do is go to Google and type anything about your locations, such as at Milton or, um, let's say San Diego or where were your locating and And go ahead and open Wikipedia and just simply link out to it this again. It will help Google understand that you're a local business owners in particular area, so that's all for this lecture. In the next lecture, I'll introduce you to what we call us structured data or schema markup, which is another important things for Google to understand about your business better, that's all for it to the next lecture. 16. Regard regarding the review. Ski Mexican See here These are called us star rating or review Schema for certain type of queries like, in this case is of review queries so Google will display. This is also you must have seen it. Sometimes when you start for any recipes, let's say a recipe on how to bake a cake and then this type of things popped up. It's called US recipe Scheme. As you can see, when you click on Show More, it will essentially show you more kind off recipes here. And when you for the scroll down, you'll see these with the images on the side. Israel like this. And lastly, this is how the official documents off Local business schema. Looks like you can simply go to the links that I put on the slides and you'll see some time like this If you need to refer toe in the future now, in the next lecture, I'll teach you how to implement the speak schema markup on your website to improve your local issue. And trust me, it only takes about 5 to 10 minutes and you should be good to go. That's all for this lecture to the next lecture. 17. How To Implement Structured Data (In 5 Min): implements key Madeira in under five minutes. In this lecture, I'll teach you how to implement a structure data on your local website within five minutes . Here are the steps Overview number one. Goto this particular euro and choose local business. I just schema type. Next, select your business category If you can't find your business category Justin produce local business Next feeling all the necessary details such as your name, address, full numbers etcetera then copied a schema snippet and then fourth pays it onto your homepage using the ash FC M plug ins and lastly test instructor data using the tool called Google Structure Data Testing tool. So without fordo, do let me guide you through this step by step. So first you go to this particular website is a free website which allows you to, um generate a local schema. Markup for your website is the euro. You can simply note this down. So first you select the type off schema markup that you need to create. So here's you click on this menu and scroll down to the section where says local business. After that, you can, for those select your category of your business like they're different type of degree here , if you can't find can simply select local business. In my case, mine is a restaurant, so I can simply goes and typing restaurant business if presence. So I would selected US food establishment here. In my case, once you're selected, then you can simply ah, go drill down further to your business type. So in my case is a restaurant or I can just go ahead and select a restaurant here and then some typing a business name here. So my businessman name is the barbecue place. And then the aim is your order your off your business logo. So I'm back in my wordpress dashboard and I'll check the euro off where my logos present. So just go to my media and then find the locations off my where my logo is present on my website. So the logo would be this one should be my logo so I can go ahead and copied or you're all here and paste in next Is the euro off your website? So my website here is this one. So go ahead and copied or you're out, and then the full number, I'll just under any arbitrary one just to speed up the process here and the price range If you offer any range of your price if you don't want. If you don't want to enter it, just simply leave it like that. And then the menu, your elder euro, where my main was present. Remember, these are special feels just for my business. Your business may have others specific field here, so in this case, I'll just leave it like that just in this for stayed up example and in country, um, the country where it's located. So I just choose United States, and then my state is a four genius. So it's gonna be this one when they latitude along to do the locations where your business is present. So, um, it is also very important to enter it. If you have any physical locations for your business, in this case, I'll just leave. It is blank, and then you can next. You can simply enter the opening and closing hours off your business. If you open a 24 bus there and just simply click on this one and then you can further add a social media profiles, links to your business so you can simply click on this button and add here like this, and you can simply fill in all the information required here just for the sake of example. I'm just going toe click Click this options. Once you have generated or written your information's, go ahead and copy the snippets here. Next, go to your WordPress website and go to the A F. C M Plug ins here and then click on add new and then you enter your snippet name just like last time. In this case, I'll just endure it as, um, schema markup, and then select the locations where this you want this particle court to be present. So as mentioned, you have to pace this particular court on your home page. So we're gonna selected a specific page and then choose your home page, which in my case, is this one on location. Just leave with us. Header here and go ahead and pace in your court and click on. See, that's all for it. Next. You would want to verify that your scheme ice present on your website, so go ahead and copy in your your all of your home page and go to the tool, Call Google structure data testing tool and click on new test and click and paste in your your website. Your and click on test. As you can see here, the desired the summer destructor data at present on your website. All you have to um, look at is the ski mother you've just recently created in my case is a restaurant schema. So here you can see here. And besides that, the tool also gives you the warnings and the errors for your scheme. Us now warning should not be a big deal. But if you have any errors, make sure you look at you the schema by clicking on it and see the errors that it recommends you to add. As you can see, it recommends you to add price range and service cuisine, which is I didn't provide when I initially created this structure data and is how the structure data looks like using this Google structure data testing tool. Now, if you have any errors like in this case, there's none. Then you can simply read on what it expects you to have, because sometimes like, for example, if you forgot to fill in your name here, which is a required feel. The arrows will show up so you can simply go to your stay, um, schema markup generator. Using this particle tool and fill in the name or any required. I feel that the tool that destructor data needs and that's all for this lecture. Um, if you have any questions, feel free to ask me directly, and I'll answer them as soon as possible. In the next section will talk about technical local assail. Thank you for watching see in the next lecture. 18. Everything About Page Speed: Section four Technical optimization or technical s you lesson one pay speed page speed or how fast the page loads is one of the most important ranking factors on Google as well as conversion perspective. Think about it. If it uses land on your page and it takes less than 10 to 15 seconds for your page to lose , do you think he's going to stay? Obviously not. I had a client who was able to increase ranking upto five positions after correcting his pay speed. So a couple of months back I had a client who came to me and asked me why he couldn't improve his ranking. Regardless of whatever he has done on the website. He had that a proper on page optimization or even all page. But no matter what he tried, he couldn't increases ranking. I investigate into the side and found out that the majority of the pages took a list about 15 seconds to lure. So I went ahead, optimized for pay speed, and within a week or two he saw massive improvements in his ranking. An idea loading time of a page is 2.5 seconds, five seconds. Obviously the lower the better. Well, here are some of the tools to catch pay speed and to improve them, so my three favorite tools to test pay speeds are GT Metrics, Google Page, Speed and Kingo. Use WP facets. Catch an auto optimize plug ins to speed up the website at the court level. Youth WPS must tow bugs compress images on WordPress website. Now these plug ins I have already introduced you to them. I'll show you step by step on how to activate and set them up in a couple of minutes From now, Images are the biggest issues when it comes to pay speed. Always used jetpack as an image file. Use online tools like compressed J P E G doc home or tiny jpg. To compress J epic images. Try keeping the image file at least 100 kep kee K B and try using the same image size throughout. For example, if on your paid the majority of images sizes 1080 into 7 20 you would want to keep that ratio throughout the pages as well as their overall website. So without further ado, let me demonstrate you how to activate and set up these pay speaks improvement plug. It's so here. I'm back to my WordPress website back in, as you can see here. So if you haven't activated those plug ins that you can go ahead and activate right along with me. So first, we're gonna activate the WP fosters cash, so go ahead and activate it. Once activated, you can go ahead and set it up. So the settings will be on the light left hand side, as you can see here. So click on the plug in settings. Now, this is how it will look like when you force activate the plug ins first. What? All you have to do is enable the cash system here by ticking this box. Now, a cash is basically like a snapshot of your website. Instead, off requesting your website files from the server again and again, cash will act like a middleman and serve a static content to the users. Thus, speed up your process. Okay. Next is the pre Lord. So basically, just go ahead, activated it. You would want toe, um, take all these boxes in order to maintain the maximum performance of the planets and then click OK, and then this one Do you want to show the cash? Like to the logged in users? If you don't want them, just simply click this one because other said cash will basically like store all your website files on your on your wordpress website as a back. And so it will have, like, arrested your files. So they want to see that file, Not you can simply click, check, tick on this button. This one also again similar on mobile device. And then here the option is to clear cache files when a post or page is published. So you would want this option to be kick because, as I said, cash is like a snapshot. So I suppose if you're just published a new articles or new pages, if you don't clear the catch, the old page will still, um, persists or the new page one show up on the website where users comes to your website. So you would want to clear all the cash in this case. So this also applies to when you update the post, right? You would want to clear all the catch when it comes to updating the post. Otherwise, your updates will not shows up and men. If I asked you, Mel, you want toe check this this as well, and this simply check all if possible, but you can just simply read on if you don't want to check. But in my experience, by checking all the books should be fine. Once done, just click on Summit and there you go. Your first plugging is set up. Next one. We're going to set up the auto optimize now, As mentioned in the beginning, auto optimize is is essentially like a WP faucets cash to optimize your pay speed, but it does so at the court level. So there's maybe it sometimes that your auto optimized can cause some problem on your website. So you may or may not want to use this plug ins like, for example, if it causes some problems that you may not have to activate or use this plug it and all is just like an optionals. But if there is any, if there's none of the plot problems, then I recommend you use this plug in as it will further improve your pay speed. So all you have to do is just simply check on all the boxes here as you're going to see here and this one as well, and that's it. And then just click on save changes and empty cash. All right, so, um, next one, we're gonna set up WP smush W piece. Much is like a image compressing plug ins, just like I introduced you before. So you can go ahead and activate it if you haven't, and then go to the settings on the left hand side here and click on the settings. So, as you can see here, this is this is what you will get for the first time when you activate the plug ins. So it would just take a couple of steps to set it up. So just go ahead and set it up and then automatically optimized new uploads. Now, what I like about this plug in years, it will automatically optimize and compress the newly up loads to your websites without having you to manually do it. So that's one of the best thing about this place. And so you would want toe leave. This option is ah, on here. And then click on next. This option stripped my image. Metadata essentially means if you take a smartphone or any other lesser camera to take your imagine. Sometimes they're certain data present in those image mints kind of made image size file large. So this options will kind of remove all those unnecessary data and thus compress or reduce your inmate's file. Lazy loading. Leslie Loading basically means your image more Lord right away when when your page load it will only lords when you scroll to that section where image are present like you must have seen this from time to time wreck, for example, when you visit a particular website and you sometimes is a blank on the image the where the emails should be located. But when you scroll down toe that section, the image just suddenly pops up. That is called us lazy load. Now you may want to enable it or not. That's up to you. But if you enable, it will surely improve your pay speed. But for me personally, I know like it a lot because it kind of degrades user experience. So I'll just leave it off in this case and click on next. And lastly, do you want them toe kind of keep track off your data usage like it's just like what you know now. It is what every plug ins would do, so I would just simply toggle this off and finish up to set up. And now the plug ins will go ahead and kind of check the majors on your website and see if there are any UN compress or on optimizing major, as you can see here. The plug in have identified 85 attachments or 85 images that needs to be compressed or optimized. And one of the cool features about WPS marches box much or bunk optimized features, which will allow you to borrow. Compress your images within a button off within a matter of clicks, so you don't really have to do it manually one by one to optimize your image. You guys just go ahead and click on this button here, but mind you that this only works for 50 images with one click, which means that, um, it will optimize bug optimized only for 15 minutes, and for the next 50 minutes you have to click the button again because, um, it is a free version here, but we don't really need to buy the full worsens as the free world and works just like a charm. So that's all for all the pace beads, improving plug ins in the next lecture, I'll introduce you and teach you how to use different tools to check your pay speed and improve your pay speed by manually looking at the problems that is slowing it down. Thank you for watching in the next lecture. 19. Page Speed: Part-2: in this lecture, I'll cheese you how to measure your pace speed and read the different things that could potentially slow down your pace, be it or how fast you're page loads. The first tool that recommended is called GT Metrics. So all you have to do is to go to this particular side GT Metric stock home and next you copy on your your l here. So let me go ahead and copy more euro and let's go ahead and pay a visit to the tool and then click on Test your site. Now, as you can see here, the tool ist testing your site from a Vancouver Canada server. But much of that they also have a user sign up options here where you can, um, do different things with the tour. Like, for example, measure your pasty from different server regions and also save up your pace before the next test. So, as you can see here, um, the tools have analyzed my pay speed and came up with different options on, um in formations here. So other left hand side in this section is called us performance score or optimizing and score on the right hand side is the things that you really need to really take a look on. So optimization score are basically like how well optimized your website is to improve your pay speed. And on this right hand side section is how practically how far is practically your page loot. So all you have to do is just, you know, like look at your pace speeds or half are your paid loads. Optimization score doesn't really value much because I've seen many website like, even though they have achieved 100 on 100 on both the scores, but still managed to lose very slow. So as a definition of the of the pace, be this That is how fast page loads. All you have to bother about is how the pace speed in this case. And besides that, they're also different, um, information listed down here. You don't really have to bother much or worry about because, um, the both the plug is that I introduced you to that is W P fastest cash and auto optimize should have already taken care of the majority of problems here. Like, for example, unified JavaScript men. If I asked you Mel, enable compressions. All these information. Um, like, for example, in this kids, we have a problem with leverage browsing, browser cashing. So this. Go ahead and click on and see what's the problem here. So if you ever have a look here, you're going to see that they're the problem with the cashing problems. So all you have to do is maybe do a little bit tweak on your cashing Web, plug it in like, for example, WP fastest cash and you should be good to go here, Okay? And the next tool rich I recommend you to use is called Google Pay Speed. There's an official Google pace. Be testing tool so you haven't just go ahead to Google and typed in Google Page speed and clicks on the first link Google pay speech work similar toe the GT metrics. So just go ahead and copier you and pays there and click on analyze, just like GT metrics. Google pay speeds will categorize are give you in formations into different sections. That is the optimization score and, uh, the pace, be it or how fast you're page loads but in a in a little bit different manner. So let me just show you in a few seconds from now, once the tool has finished up. So as you can see here, this is the first part is the optimize engine score and it also categorized into mobile and backstop. So on my mobile device, my paid optimizing his scores 51 off, out of 100 on deck stop is 67 out of 100. And then, as I said, all you have to care about is the how fast your page loads and all this can be looked at in the sectional lap data here. So as you're going to see here, the first climb 10 full paint or the first time that a users would, um, start seeing your content is at 2.8 seconds, forced meaningful paint or the first time that users can start reading or understanding what your pages about is also about 2.8 seconds. And besides that, they're a little different metrics here and also different opportunities that you can improve your pay speed like, for example, TTF bt tfb stand for timeto first bite. It depends on your server. So in this case, you may want to, um, have a premium servers to improve your pace beads. And besides that, other problems can be already have been handled by the plug ins that I introduce you in the previous lecture. So you don't really have to bother about or worry about much. But they're also certain things that the plug is may not or couldn't handle properly. In that case, you may try install other plug ins, which may solve specifically for problems like, for example, eliminated render blocking resources. In this case, auto optimize have already solved this to a certain point. But there may be other players which will improve this particular problems more, so you may want to maybe investigator on that. But if you're using WordPress obviously in mobile device, and you should aim for at least 50 to 70 and on deck stop, about 72 eighties should be in ideas, optimizers and score. But as I said, optimization score is not a problem or you have to care, or look at how fast paced lose, okay, and the next tool that I want to introduce you through is called Ping Dump Tool, so all you have to do is go to tools dot kingdom dot com and once again enter your websites and click on start test here. But a small difference here is that pink gums allow you to test out your pace be from seven different servers. Location is a hesitancy here. Japan, Germany, United Kingdom, USA, Washington USA Center for us to school sitting here in Sao Paulo, Brazil. So the way to use this to it's basically test out your pay speed on different service. And once you've got all the pace beats score, just add them up and find out the average. So, like, for example, I'm testing it from, um, USA Washington, and go ahead and test and then really, like a few seconds from now, the tour will split out How fast your patient load testing by testing from Washington. As you can see here, it takes 692nd milliseconds to load and a performance great here. This also is like their own perform optimization score. So you don't really have to bother much here. And as you can see here in the United States Washington, it tastes 690 milliseconds. Then you would repeat the process again and take out the average by adding all the load times up and divide by seven. In this case, okay, And the next two tools that is, this one compressed jpg and kind of gpt thes tool tools will kind up come compress your image like you can go ahead and upload multiple images Well, before you would upload to your WordPress website and would just compress it. Now, you must be wondering like you already have install double peace much and why you would want to do it manually one by one again using this These two tours on the reason being WP if smart number one is a free tool and number two, it works on your WordPress back in and you know the maximum it can kind of optimize. Your images are only up to 6 to 7%. So in some cases it may not be enough. But these to plug ins, in my experience, they can optimize up to almost 50 to 60% from the image size. So, um, you can kind of combine this tools and this tool together to further, um, optimize your pay speed. So, um, as I said, if you're if you're lazy enough to do this manually, so you can just pretty much rely on this tool. But at the end, the day if you really want toe speed up your pace beads, recommend you toe, do it forced manually and then upload to the server issues. And then it will be for optimize using this tools. So that's all for this lecture? Um, the key take away from it is Number one. You don't really have to bother much about optimizes and score, whether it's from GT Metrics, pay speed Google pay speeds or Ping dumb or you have to care about is how fast your page load. And secondly, the majority off problems should already have been, um, taking care off using the WP fastest cash and auto optimize. So you shouldn't worry much about on number three. The two most important problems behind pay speed is your hosting and your images. So if you get these two things sorted out, your pace, we should improve dramatically. That's all for this lecture. Soon. The next lecture 20. Mobile Friendliness & SSL Certificate: Lesson two mobile friendliness and SSL certificates. According to the stat, a 2% off local search happens on mobile devices. So if your website is in mobile optimized, you could be missing a ton of potential customers. If you're using what press your size pretty much already mobile friendly Because nowadays all the latest themes are already responsive and support all types of screens. Now you're using any one of the free themes which I recommended to you in the beginning of the court. We don't have to worry at all about this factor. You can use free tools like Google mobile friendly tests to check if your side supports mobile devices or not ensuring that your side is secured. Using SSL certificates is also another important factor. Although it's not a very important Google ranking factors having a secure site helps improve your sides trust and credibility. Now we don't know what is an SSL certificate. It is what you see on the websites euro that it comes with https and with the padlock science. If you're using chrome browsers nowadays, SSL certificates comes as a free feature in the majority of hosting packages. In the past, you have to buy this features separately. But nowadays all the major hosting packages have already included this SSL certificate, so you don't have to really worry about it at all. But if your side still in the hasn't have this featured yet, make sure you contact your developers and put it or install it for you. So let me show you how to check your side mobile friendliness using the Google mobile friendly test tool. So all you have to do is go to Google and typed in Google Mobile friendly test and I have to do is enter your side website. You're all here in this case and click on run the test here. Ah, What the tool will do is it will essentially analyze your page and, um checks whether you're your website or your page is of supports, Morbo devices or not. So, as you can see here, it's currently analyzing the page and within a few seconds from now, it should be over. As you can see here, um, the tool say, is that my page? It's mobile friendly or my website. So you don't have, um because is using what the free theme that I recommended. That is Astra Astra theme. As with us nowadays, all the WordPress websites are mobile friendliness. But there's maybe some of the case where maybe you're using old WordPress versions or your themes may be outdated. So you may want to test again if your site or your pay supports mobile devices or not. And that's over this small lecture. In the next lecture, I'll introduce you to read erections and for four errors. 21. Re-directions & 404 Error: lesson. Three re directions and 44 pages read Directions are the process of redirecting users toe other location or you're out on your website. Suppose you have a euro off abc dot com for slash a and you want your users to land on another Uriel, for example, a B c dot com forced last. Be redirecting it mean when users land or your ABC don't come for slash a is gonna be redirected to the girl off abc dot com Force last be the two most common redirection czar. 301 and three or two 301 Reductions mean the page is permanently moved and three or two means is temporary. Moved 44 A record means the page doesn't exist any more. Too many 44 air on your website can degrade user experience, thereby decrease the ranking well. The most important ranking factors for Google is user experience. If your website has too many four for error or pages, it can degrade user experience and thereby decrease the ranking. If you want to redirect your existing content to new euro, you can use a plug in like read directions, which I introduced you earlier in the course to enforce three or one redirect fair to redirect. It's not recommended because it signals to Google. That is just a temporary moved, which may not pass the link juice or link power to the New York Out. Too many read directions can slow down your website, thus lowering user experience, so make sure you don't have too many dearie directions on your website. So let me show you how to set up the plug in called read directions and teach you how to use it. So here I'm back to my WordPress back and web of the website, and if you haven't activated the plug in yet, you can activate right along with me. So here's a plug in, um, settings. You go ahead and click on activate. Once activated, you can click on the planning settings to set it up for the first time. And next time when you want to access, it is right under the tools and re directions here so you can come here anytime you want. And here, this is what it looks like for the first time when you actually setting it up. Ah, next you just click on star set up here, and then here they they give you a two options that is to monitor permanent link changes in WordPress pose and pages. This means that if there is any change in the euro or locations, it will automatically kind of makes a redirect for you or inform you about any changes. And this also will keep log or keep track of all the redirects and 44 errors so you would want toe, maybe check on these both options. But this option says that storing lock on your for redirect and 4/4 will allow you to see what is happening in your website. But this will increase your database stories requirements. So if you don't want toe put ah, heavy load on your database, you may want to uncheck this. Otherwise, you can just check it and then click on continuous set up here. It is not necessary for this options to check, but you can read on it and check if you want. Oh, and then let the plug in kind of checks for any requirements on your website. And once it's done, you kind of click on finish set up here. Now you just have to wait for a few seconds for the plug ins to get set up and once done again, click on finish button here. Now all the reductions are present on the tackle redirects. So let me zoom in a little bit. So you're going to see here as you can see, a president on the redirect option here and in order to add new re directions Or if you want to change the euro off one of your page to another, and all you have to do is click on, add new here, and then this one is the source. You're or the old your l of your page and the target ul is the target euro that you want to move your page to. So, for example, um, let me take an example of a page on my weapons on this website and redirected to another location. So, for example, I want to redirect my contact us page to another page. So all that happened the waste copy to your all of the page and pays it here. And suppose I want to redirect it to the your alcohol contact instead of just contact us as you can see here. So now, as you can see here, contact us is now being right. Redirect to contact and next you just have to check that it is in redirect. And besides that, you also can toggle on this settings and see that what time of redirect is is, as you can see here it is a 301 redirect. You would want to make sure that it is 31 redirect and not three or two here. So by default it will be 301 redirect. And after you've done that, just click on add redirect, and that's all. And besides that, you can also keep track of all the full four pages on your website, and maybe you can redirect them toe a new page in order to fix any like user experience issues, which can come with the four for court or pages. Now that's all for this lecture. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me and I'll answer them. Assume that's possible. Thank you for watching in the next lecture 22. Site's Structure That Google Loves: lesson four sided structure that Google loves. Great site structure doesn't only help improve your overall user experience, but also helps Google crawl and understand your site more efficiently. Thus better ranking with great sites structure. You can pass the link Jews or link power from external source or what we call us back wings to maximum number of pages. Thus increase your side overall authority, which is one of the most important ranking factors for Google. Here are some of the general rule of thumb off a good website structure number one. Make sure number of clicks to deepest page on the website is less than or equal to three clicks. Number to have maximum number of internal links on the home page two pages on the website. This because in the majority of time, your homepage should probably be the pain that has the maximum number of back wings pointing to it. Thus, in order to distribute those back wings power to other pages on the website, you need to have the maximum number of internal links on the home page. Number three include important links in the side white areas such as header and footer off your website. This halves Google as well as users, understand and navigate throughout your sites easier Number four interlink All the relevant pages. Number five have privacy policy and terms and conditions page at the side y, preferably footer. So let me show you where the have of example of how a good website structure looks like. So here I taken one of the example called What website is called I Ship Technologies and is a computer repair and laptops service, um, local business in Edmonton, Canada. So this is how a normal ah, home page of local business service based business would look like you've got a bunch of information here. So, um, the first thing that you'll be noticing when you land on the page as you'll notice lots of internal links on the page life, for example, thes links are pointing toe the inner pages on the website. So let me just open those up for you, as you can see here. And besides that, these buttons are also pointed toe other pages on the website like for most see our services points of the service page. And besides, that other obsession also points toe different service on the different pages on the website US. Well, like when you scroll down to the bottom, you see that they have also covered different locations, just these locations. And these are you have also pointed back the internal links to these pages A swell. So as you can see here, these are all the internal pages of the website. Next, they have also included Ah couple of, uh, most use menu on the header as well as the food, as you can see here. So when you scroll to the food as well, you see that they have had many although the important links on the side wide area that they're header and footer. And besides that, their deepest page on the website are probably these service paid, so that is also less than three clicks. So, um, it is on a service and just click on any one of these, um, service. Then you can access these pages as you can see here, the closer as one of the good website structure and for regarding the your l for the site structure. This I already taught you in the keyword research for local SL section that is in the keyword mapping section. If you don't remember it, make sure you check that out. This will also help map out goose I structure for your website. And besides that, let me also show you how a typical local business site would look like having a great size structure. This is how an ideal side structure would look like for any typical local business website . So you've got a home page here, and then the homepage would have a internal link to other important first category page. So we've got about page service page blocked page, location page. If you serve multiple locations and contact pays just how you saw in the previous example off that I shipped religious website and on the service players. You also have ah linked to other related service like, for example, compare repair laptop repair. Sarah, as you have seen just now and the blocks are also I like a hub where all the block articles are present. A location page also all contains all the locations that the business serves and the contact US wishes. How normally you wouldn't have a contact as you can see here the deepest level Ah, the deepest page on the website is only about two clicks away. So one and two, as you can see here from the home page. If you have any further level, then you can simply add it. But make sure you group them in a very logical manner like this. And besides that, all these pages are internal linked to each other. And there was one more concept called us, um, internal link passing Jews. Which means that if you want to rank in this particular page on your website to the highest need to make sure that that page contents the maximum number A number off Internet link pointing to it. So in this case, suppose everyone your home page to rank the highest than all of the internal links President, your website or the maximum number of internal links. President, your website. You point to the home page, as you can see here. So all the links from the service are pointed. The service pages and all the length from the service of the service page are also pointing back to the home because you're going to see here. So as you're gonna see. Although the home page points out to all the pages on the website at the end the day all the internal links also points back to the home page does kind of gives the authority to the home page and makes it rank higher. And this is how a typical ideal size structure looked like. If you have any questions for your free to contact me and also try to answer them as soon as possible and thank you for watching in the next lecture. 23. Understand Off-Page SEO & Backlinks: Section five off page optimization or off page s you. Lesson one. Understand? Off page s you and back lings off page sl refers to optimization outside your website which is out of your control. It influences How will your website is ranking on the weapon? Google two factors include back links and social signals. Back wings are external links pointing from other website to a page or two. Your website social signals On the other hand is the signals around your website or your business on social media such as Facebook, Twitter, instagram, etcetera. Google never confirms that social signal is a ranking factor, but there seems to be a strong really correlation between sites rank in the first page and strong social signals being on the other hand, thus confirmed that uses social signals. Now, in my experience, I've tried testing it many times, but it has never seen a result. Yet in 2020 and beyond, back wings have become less important. Those still remains the number one ranking factors for Google links. Relevancy is becoming more important. Link relevancy is defined by how relevant decide which links to you to your business. For example, even running a local business on unless a computer repair shop, I would like to have my back wings coming from a side wishes related to mark. For example, other computer repair or full repair or something in similar is calling link relevancy. Not all back wings are equal. Google can devalue or ignore links if necessary. Now Google clearly states that not all back wings are equal. For example, links coming from a relevant website will have less weight or less importance than links coming from more relevant website. So let me give an example. Suppose I'm running a computer repair shop and I'm getting a back brings, Let's say, from other numbers website now. That link may not give me much important or much ranking booth, although every back links will still give you some value. But it differs difference on the quality of back leg in 2020 and beyond. Links like WEP 2.0 comments, forums and other lower level links have little to no value, even if it comes from High authority website now, Web two point owes are basically like, you know, a website dot wordpress dot com or website dot block sport dot com all these website um which are like what we call us wept to porno properties. And besides that, they're also back wings coming from comments like you must have seen when you go to any website and you comment on that particular website or articles and in the action to input your website euro now that also can act us a back Ling's. But they're termed as low level links or links coming from forms. For example, these are the links with Google, hardly takes into considerations and has little to no values, especially in 2020 and beyond. PB in links still work now for some of you who don't know what is a P been is actually a network off different websites, high authority websites linked together and pointing a back links to your website so you can imagine it like your website in the middle. And then you have other high authority websites circling around your website and all these websites belongs to you and they are pointing for your website now, um, Google's states that any manipulative in their ranking algorithm says just buying links or but doing all these kind of shady s, you can result in your website Being penalized P binge is one of the methods and it still worked. Although you may get risk off being penalized by Google in the next video, I'll introduce you to what is a back link authority or what it means by authority in the back legs. 24. What Makes A Good Backlink: What makes a good link? So this is the first video in my updated local SEO course lessons for 2023 and moving forward. So in this lesson, you will learn what makes it a good link or what is the characteristic of a good backlink? Major search engines like Google have been known for many years to ignore or D value back links are links that are not relevant or helpful to the content. This includes things such as low-quality links and LBS paid links that are built with the purpose of rankings. So It's been known for many years now that search engines such as Google have been kind of trying to come up with different algorithms to detect and ignore low-quality links or obvious paid links. Always paid links peer means any links that are built with the purpose of the purpose of manipulating or increasing the search ranking results. So if you directly by links from someone, if the algorithm can detect that that is a paid links or links or not obtain unnaturally, naturally then in that sense, the links will be deemed as devalued or ignored. Google even stated that roughly about 90% of the total backlinks on the web is ignored. So roughly about 90% of the total backlinks on the web or on the Internet are ignored. Which means that most of the links on the internet and you can find almost useless. Therefore, in order to be successful in building the right backlinks that work, here are some characteristics that you should be looking for based on my tests. So to pass over the past about six to one year, six months to one year, I've been rigorously testing different types of links. And based on my test, according to the latest Google algorithm updates, which you might have, maybe heard of. So there's the link spam update in, in 2022 that are these from my criteria, these are the characters and that seems to be working when it comes to back links. So the first one here is contextually relevant, at least on a page level, but better if the entire domain is relevant. So first thing first, in order for Google to, to recognize or to give some weight to a link, the link should be contextually relevant means it should be placed within the body of the content. It should come from at least a page level relevant means the link should come from a patient that is relevant to your content. But even better if you can find a link that is entirely relevant from the domain level. Next to links should come from science that have healthy organic traffic or at least 1,000 visitors per month. And what I mean by healthy organic traffic here is the traffic of where you're getting the link from. That website is in a constant. Constant growth means it's not suffering any algorithm updates lately or it's not like going up and down in the graph, but rather is increasing. Now on a consistent basis. And to measure this, you can obviously use any SEO tools out there like Uber suggest as introducing the course. Or SEMrush is whatever you're comfortable with, you can use to measure sight organic traffic. Third, link should be coming from science that have high as high quality links pointing to them. So when you look at any backlinks to get a link from, when you look at any website to get a backlink from. Besides just looking at a traditional metrics instill also look at the refereeing domains are the links that is pointing to that website. Making sure that that website is having some high-quality links pointing to it, right? And lastly, the links should have a da or domain authority or DR domain rating of at least 30. So in order to know this, you can check the link profile to see if they are not manipulated. So da or DR, all these authority metrics as introduced in the previous lesson, can easily be manipulated, right? And there are third party metrics, which means they're not used by Google. And you can inflate these value. So make sure that you check the link profile or where getting links from first to make sure that they're not manipulate it. The next point is, here's the link should be placed on a page that doesn't mention things like sponsored guest posts, etc. Lastly, the links, the links you are getting or a backlink, the place where they're getting a backlink from should not mention things such as sponsor or guest post or write force, things like that. Based on my recent tests, it's been showing that you're getting a backlink from a page that mentioned things like guest postings, sponsor, something like that. Those type of links are easily, quickly can we detect it by Google? And Google will most likely ignore that type of link. So let's do some example of the backlinks that, that is good, right, based on the recent test. So let me open up this. So let's say I did a search for a roofing New York. And these are some of the website or rankings. I took this website and number one ranking website and why roofing. And then I use this free edge reps tool. And by the way, you can use any SEO tools to check the Backlink profile of any website. But if you're on a budget, then I recommend you use a hash reps, three backlink checkers is enough for you to kinda look at backlink profile, any website for your link building campaign. So I throw into the domain name of the website. I don't want to check and I click on check back links. Then you will see that these are the links pointing to this website. So on the left-hand side, these are the length. On the right-hand side. These are the anchor text and where it's pointing to for this domain. In the next lesson, you will learn about anchored texts and how to analyze anchor text and use this edge reps tool to analyze this. So don't worry about it. But for now we're just, I want to show you the example of what makes a good link, right? So here I opened up this website, queens ledger.com. So I opened this up. And you can see that this is a New York relevant websites, more or less like a news website in New York, I think. Or somewhere nearby or something like that, or at least is somehow relevant to New York, right? And if you check out this, the word here is roofers. So if I Control F, I can see that there's this roof for here. This roof forward. So when I click on this, it opens up this NY roofing.com, which is essentially this website. This one, our target here. So as you can see, this is a back link, back link for this NY roofing.com. The first thing here is making sure that the page is relevant, right? Like at least this is not a relevant page. You can see it's not entirely about roofing, are relevant to roofing, but it's somehow relevant to New York, which is enough. Now when you do local SEO, you need two types of relevancy. That is a topic relevance me and it is about roofing. We just we're just still your business in general and then your geography or your locations, right? So roofing New York means you want links to be relevant to roofing topic or something relevant topic. Who roofing such as home improvement or plumping, something like that. And in New York, right? So the link also should be relevant to New York City or something relevant to New York, like maybe nearby CD or something like that. Or at least one, Right? So at least either about roofing or at least about New York. But if you can get a link that is relevant to both roofing and New York, that is obviously a better link. But for this lean, you can see that is not so relevant to roofing for home improvement in general, but it's at least somehow relevant to New York, which is good enough. Alright. Secondly, this is a website, is a news websites are pretty big website. So I assume that there must be some organic traffic going to this website of at least 1,000 visitors per month. So again, I won't go into details on how to check this, but you have learned on how to use Uber suggest in this course. So all you have to do is just check out the stacks of this website. That's it. Third is to make sure that the lingers contextually relevant is placed within the content. As you can see, this link is within the body of the content, is not, is not on the sidebar, is not on the menu bar, right? It's not on the footer here at the bottom, but it's somewhere in the body of the content. So this again, checks are our checklist. And lastly is not on a page that is mentioned anything about right for us or sponsored project and see nothing on this page indicates that these are paid links or is a sponsored links or guest post links, something like that. So it was a very clear, organic looking type backlinks. And this the time limit that you would want, right? I linked that is coming from irrelevant page or even a website. Contextually relevant backlinks and not mentioned anything about, right for us, something like that and also obviously having some organic traffic. And lastly, it's a D or DR, as I said, at least 30. And this website has a DR of 61, which is obviously a above our requirement. Why? So this is what makes it a good link. This an example. Alright, so that's all for this lesson in the next slide. 25. Understand Links Power (Authority): lesson to understand links, power or authority, link power, or what many esos referred to as link authority is how strong a link is in terms off its own power. And s your Value Authority concept initially came from Moss with their domain authority. That is a D A and page authority. That is pH metrics, not loss, is one of the big players in Esso industry, and they have their own astro tools. Now one of their tools allow, um, the users to measure what they call us the main authority or D and paid authority, or P a. Richard. Essentially, how strong link is besides Moore's there Other eso tools, which utilize similar concepts such as ash reps with domain rating. D R. And you're all rating you are and majestic with Trust Floor, TF and Silence and Floor CF. Now, besides more there, also, there are other third party S Seo companies, such as address and logistics, which have their own respective metrics to measure how strong a link is a swell now, whatever metrics or tools you are following or using, keep in mind that Google doesn't use them in their own algorithm. These are just estimations based on various factors, mainly on back Ling's. Now you have to keep in mind that these are the metrics that are invented by third party companies, and Google doesn't use them in their own calculation. Or how did you determine how stroll or good A lingers. So it's just a rough estimation. So, um, let me show you with a hell of an example of the domain authority and page authority. So you must have remembered this in the keyword research lecture that I talked about. Whenever you have to select a key where you have to slug it based on the demand authority and pay authority using the mosque room bar right? And that's the reason. By now you should probably know that back Ling's is one of the most important ranking factors for S. You're right, whether it's local S or SC or any kind of S e o back lease one of the most important ranking factors. And in order to determine how strong a page or website is, it's usually look at the back Ling's profile, right, And that's the reason why I told you to install the mosque room bar, which allows you to check the demand authority and pay authority, which is actually how strong a page or website is or how authoritative they are based on their back links. Profile. Right. So I go ahead and toggle the mosque room bar on the top. You can see that. Like, for example, for this query, um, plumbing. In San Diego, you can see that you there is a mix like Women authority of 93 Domain Authority 93 here as well from Yelp. Then 33 85 52 29 25 81 18. So it's a pretty tough keywords, right? As you can see here, many big authoritative websites are ranking for it now to clarify you, Ah, like the domain authority impaired authority. What? What is actually mean, Right? So the man authorities how authoritative the overall website is and page authority is how authoritative a particle a page is, right? So So, for example, this particle page that in our ruder dot com for slash San Diego County, this particle page has a P or paying authority of 39 the overall domain authority or how strong the overall Web site is off out of 52. Now all the metrics, whether it's domain authority, pairs authority ish reps. D. R or whatever, These are out of 100 right? So the Lewises being one and the highest is being 100. So these metrics are out of 100 as you can see here. So, like, 93 out of 133 out of 185 100 something like that. So the more back wings or the more quality back links your website or your page gets, the more you're demented. Authority or pitch authority will increase right. So, as I said, these are third party metrics toe, which are used to different one. How strong a page or website is based on their overall quality links. Profile. Right? Understand Anchor Text: Lesson four, understand anchor text. This is the first newly uploaded videos for this course. For those of you who have already purchased step. Moving forward, you'll find a newly uploaded lessons as well as the lessons that have been updated. Anchor text refers to the clickable words used to link one web page to another. The webpage link tube can either be located on the same website, cause internal anchor text, different website call US external anchor text. Anchor text is considered to be one of the most important ranking factors in SEO. Search engines like Google use anchor tags to understand the descriptive content or content of the web page and link to. So search engines, especially like Google, use anchor text in order to understand what is the webpage that is being linked tool is all about. However, anchor tags, it's also one of the most abused and misunderstood component in SEO. Search engines, especially Google, have been actively fighting the use of manipulative anchor text in order to game the system or rankings. Over the past few years, Google and other search engines have been pushing hard in Earth fight the use of manipulative anchor texts or anchor text that are designed in order to manipulate the search rankings. One of the most famous algorithms known as called as ten going algorithms, which I'm pretty sure you must have heard or come across. Therefore, getting the right anchor text for your website will not only help you ran well in a big way, That is because it is one of the most important ranking factors, but also to avoid any possible search engines penalties. Now before I go ahead and show you how to build the right anchor text for your website. Let me first explain to you the different types of anchor text. But before that, let me show you what it is actually an anchor techniques for the beginners who are watching this course. So when talking about anchor text, it is basically nothing but an hyperlinked use in order to link from one web page to another. In this case, as you can see here, I open this web page and this is the link linking to the homepage of this website. And the text used in order to link to that to the homepage of this website is called US anchor text areas. You can see the anchor text for this particular link, is this linked to the mosque homepage? As here, for example. Five types of anchor text. Although there are various ways to classify the anchor tech category, I have decided to group them into five types for ease of use and efficiency. I'm pretty sure you must have come across or seen on any online tutorials of various different types of anchor text. Some even mentioned more than 15 types of anchor text. However, from my own experience, AB classified and we do only five types. For ease of use and efficiencies. And they are as follows. First is keyword anchor text. For example, doc training. Let's say you want to have a piece of content on your website, on a topic called how to train your dog. And a primary keyword or the keyword you want to run for, for that particular piece of content is doc training. And therefore you would go ahead and start building links using the anchor text called Doc training, which is exactly the same word that you want to rank for. Now. However, for that particular anchor text, you're also using the keyword. And in this case, it is called as keyword anchor text. When talking about keyword vertex, it basically means any anchor text which contains at least one part of your keyword. So instead of doctrine and you can also use anchor text or his dog training or dog training as a whole. All this, we call it as keyword anchor text. Next time we'll anchor text is LSI or related anchor text. For example, higher trainer for your pet. Now, instead, instead of going and building back links to that piece of content on a topic called hot to train your dog using the keyword, you're now using other anchor text or other words which are related to your piece of content, but it doesn't contain any part of your keyword. For example, here, higher trainer for your pet. As you can see, for this particular anchor text, it doesn't contain any of your keyword you want to rank for. Third type of architects here is branded anchor text. Let's say for that particular piece of content on your website, it is on a website called patch sender, which is your brand name. And therefore, any income takes US. Being your brand name. It is called it as branded anchor text, which in this case, for example, your website name is pet sender. For type of vertex here is URL anchor text. You are anchor text basically means all variations of the URL address of your website or webpage. For example, let's say your website is patch sender.com. Then you can go ahead and start building backlinks using the anchor text, passenger.com, HTTPS colon slash slash Pasadena.com or www.center.com. Whatever the variation of URL you're using, it has to be in a format of web address as shown here. And lastly, the miscellaneous anchor text. Miscellaneous anchor texts are those type of anchor text which doesn't contain any part of your keyword and are not related to your piece of content or in a keyword you want to rank for whatsoever. In this case, for example, click here, visit this website to learn more. As you can see, these words have no relations to your piece of content that you want to rank for, and it also doesn't contain any of your keywords. I hope you understand this concept. If you have any question, feel free to reach out to me. And in the next video, you will learn on how to build the right type of anchor text for your website. Thank you for watching. 27. How To Choose Anchor Text: How to choose the right anchor text. The percentage of the anchor text distribution for each type is calculated at the page level and differs from needs to meet keyword to key work. Now if you remember from the previous lesson, I have categorized the type of anchor text into five types of five categories. And distribution for each category or East type for, for a particular keyword differs based on the key word, based on the needs or the business. What is the type of business? As well as this also is calculated on a page level, which means anchor text for one page on your website. The text distribution or the percentage for one page or your website will be different from another page on your website, right? And therefore, if you kind of phase any penalties, right, then you would phase it only on a particular page. Therefore, in order to determine the right anchor text distribution for your keyword, you have to do a competitor analysis, which I'm going to show you in a minute. Now. You have to remember this, that Google doesn't rank a web page on the first page without our reasons that ranking there because Google loves it, right? Because they are doing, they must be doing something right? And therefore, if you want to figure out what is the right distribution for each type of anchor text for a particular keyword or the page that you want to rank for. We are going to kind of reverse engineer your competitors and see warnings. I would just like to get the idea of word distributions of each anchor text, right? However, if you want to avoid complications, the safest and best anchor text moving forward in 2021 and move forward is brand and URL. Now in the method which I'm gonna show you in a second from now on, is going to be a little bit complicated and will take some time thrive because we have to kinda look at your competitors and see, have a glance and look at what are the type of anchor text that Google Preferred for a particular keyword. However, if you wanted to make it as simple as possible and to avoid any, you know, penalties, you would want to go for branded and URL anchor text, right? Because remember, Google and other search engines are constantly fighting against the use of anchor text, which you can manipulate the search rankings and therefore the keyword and the Alice I type anchor text. These are the two most powerful anchor text type and also the two most risky type, right? So if you want to stay safe, you can't use branded and URL throughout, right? So took to avoid, to avoid going through the method which I'm about to show you. So and also before going ahead and showing you. I'm going to use all the free tools available, right? And therefore you'll, we'll not go into the details or in-depth to kind of categorize each anchor text percentage, right? Because you know, if you want to do that, you have to kinda purchased a tool which, you know, I'm, I'm quite aware that many of you watching this course are beginners. So therefore, you will not be able to afford those expensive SEO tools, right? Especially as refs, which is actually the best backlinks analysis tool available right now for SEO. And it's also the, one of the most expensive one as well. Alright, so without further ado, let me, let me kind of demonstrate you the process. So we have, we have only three simple steps to choose the anchor text for your wept, for your page, or for a particular keyword. Well, what do you want to do is first, you select the competitors on the first page who are similar to you for a particular keyword. So you would go ahead and Google and type in a keyword that you want to run for and you know c. And then select the competitors, Warhol ranking on the first page. And what you want to do here is you want to ignore those site which are, you know, like, which are received, are not in the same category as your site. Let's say, for example, web directories, Wikipedia, go min websites, right? Let's say if you are, if you're running in affiliate marketing website and get you would only select other affiliate marketing website as well as others similar type website. And you will go ahead and ignore the directories, Wikipedia's and government website, right? Because these are all outliers that don't belong to the same category on your website. And therefore, you know, they're in a separate level like Google treat them separately because they are massive, authoritative site and therefore, you know, you can't really compare your site against them. Second step is to reverse engineer the backlinks for those competitors and have a glance at their anchor text. I glance here is to kinda go through their backlinks for filing check. Where are like the distribution of architects like are they're focusing more on cure and vertex or are they focusing on more branded or URL type anchor text? And actually if you have like even give you all like HRFs or other keyword backlink analysis tool. You can also go ahead and start like kinda divide them into different separate categories and also find exact percentage as well, which actually isn't necessary at all. And you know, the method that I'm about to show you can also work as well, right? And the third step is to when, let's say you've got the idea now of what are the type of anchor text that Google prefer for a particular keyword? Then you would go ahead and start building backwards right? Now let's say, you know, if Google prefer cure anchor text for that keyword, what you wanted to do is to always, you know, regardless of whatever type of anchor tag Guba prefers, you would always want to start off with conservative anchor text, right? The type of architects that are safe for your website. And those are branded and URL right? Before hitting it with allicin keyword anchor text. And the reason why you want to start safe for us is to give more space, right? To kinda give more advice anybody availability to starving or throwing in some keyword anchor text or Alice, I related anchor text, right? Because what Google looks at the anchor text ratio on your page, they will look at as a whole right there we can calculate as a whole. So if you start out by hitting it with a very like keyword anchor texts or you know, very targeted anchor text. Then what happened here is you will kinda, you know, bump up that ratio, right? Let's say out of all the 50 backlinks you bill initially, all let's say, you know, all of them are q or anger tax, right? So that makes a ratio to be 100%, right? Because 50 or 15200 is a 100, right? Whereas if you start off with something more conservative, then that would make it much easier for you to go ahead and start building stock, heating it with other powerful anchor text layer on. Okay, so without further ado, let me kinda demonstrate to you to actually do this process. So first, here on Google, I've already decided for a keyword. So what we wanted to go for is hard to train a cat and not to bite food. Let's say, for example, you want to run for his particular keyword. So what do you want to do is to take out at least, you know, to check on at least three of your competitors. And preferably, in most cases, I like to go with five, right? But for the sake of example here, let me pick up three top three competitors, right? So first you make sure that you know, those competitors are, you know, like, like they're in the same category as your website, right? So this proves pets. If I go ahead and open it and perfect pose.com and hearts.com, right, so let me pick the top 3 first. For more general idea, you would want to pick the top five, right? So you can go ahead and pick them up. So once you've opened the competitors, what you want to do is reverse engineered that backlinks, right? So you're going to go ahead and copy their, their URL and go to the tool call age ref free backlink checker, right? So these are free, this is a part of up AS rest backlink checker tool. So this they're free version, right? So it is available to everyone of you. Just go ahead. Let's go ahead and type in Azure F.com four slash backlink checker. You know, free tool allows you to analyze up to a 100 backlinks, right? So that is kind of enough to kinda get the idea, you know, like what is actually the top anchor text that Google prefer for that particular keyword, right? So go ahead and paste in the URL here and click on check backlinks. You'll be asked to complete the capture here. And once done, you'll get all that detail here, right? So when you start analyzing the backlinks. Your competitors. What you can do here is you can ignore the type of links, you know, there are like spammy or you know, that, that, that, you know, like that doesn't add any value, right? Let's say for instance, Common backlinks, forum backlinks, right? All those type of battling. So just this one right here you can see, so if you open this type of backlinks, the spammy one, right, that looks quite spamming. It likes for you since this one, this, and this are a type of backlinks that Google are likely to ignore, right? Because as mentioned earlier in the course, Google can also choose to ignore backlinks and they actually ignore a lot of backlinks nowadays as well. And you know, from theory and from, you know, experiment and all the tests, we kind of confirm that most of the links that are being ignored, our, you know, like the spammy type links, right? And what do you want to check on is only for the legit type website, right? Like for instance, this one, joyful pets.com. And this is linking using this anchor text, right? Nine kips to stop your cat from biting. So even go ahead and check up, check out this website. You can see that it is looks it looks legit, right? It is actually looking a legit looking business website. And therefore this is the type of links and you want to count right? And remember to ignore, you know, all the nofollow backlinks, right? So look locally for do follow. So on h ref, you can see that they have mentioned nofollow clearly here as well as redirect. So no need to, you know, no need to, to check out actually redirect also, you can check out, right, redirect, but sometimes it can be a little bit different here. So ignore all the nofollow backlinks and check only for, you know, backlinks coming from legit websites, that is this one. So if you look at the Backlink profile for this particular page or results, you can see that most of them are, you know, like URL type, anchor, text, residency, and nofollow as well. So no follow nofollow arise. You can see. And just now we have, we found one keyword anchor text for as you can see, this one. So if you can see here from joyful Pets.com descent do fall of backlinks. So without mentioning of nofollow here and this linking using keyword anchor check pregnancy. Stop your cat from biting. Because remember a queue or anchor text is any type of anchor text that contains at least one part of your keyword, right? And remember the key, whatever we want to run for this particular page is how to stop your cat from biting. And since it contains at least one partner keyword reconsider desk keyword anchor text. So one queue or anchor text here. And what else here we can find, right? And then we've got this one different between cadence and grown up cats. And this one also is coming from this one. This also contains at least one target keyword, right? Like k1 and Gorham, grown-up cats, right? So it contains one part of a keyword. So are not a keyword. Anchor text here, right? So we can go ahead and have a glass. This is another, this is another anchor tags here, and this is a URL anchor text, right? So this is not a nofollow, as you can see, not on nofollow backlinks. But it is an URL anchor text. And that is pretty much it. And also this one kips, right? So this is more or less like a generic or miscellaneous anchor text, right? You can see. So from, from a quick lands of this, you can safely assume that the most vertex use here is URL anchor text, right? As you can see in most cases. And a little bit off Q or anchor types and just one or two. Remember this is not the overall, this is not the full backlinks for this particular, particular page, but the first 100 backlinks are enough to give you an idea, right? Because these are the top 100 backlinks, right? Top 100 back, not any random backlinks. So this will give you a very good ideas. And that's why I mentioned that even a free tool are enough to get you a good idea of what are the type of anchor text, right? So for this page, we can kinda conclude that the most used type of anchor text areas, URL anchor text. Now let me show you for the second results right in the second of our competitors. Then go ahead to the same tool. Repeated. Land click Check, check backlinks. And I'm not a robot here. And then complete the capture here, right? Sometimes you may have do it multiple times. Alright? So as you can see, ok, and so coming up first here, this is a queue or anchor text right? Now to stop a cat from biting when playing. So does the exact keyword and you want to rank for. So this is an exact match anchor text. And this is a not, does a do follow backlinks and it is a URL anchor text, right? You're gonna see, and it is not to buy this also bike here, as you can see, arrived byte contains the keyword that we want to rank for, and therefore another keyword, anchor text and tune nofollow backlinks. So and URL as well. So you'll see that 12 rhymes with 2Q or anchor text, and the remaining are URL. So 123452 out of five RQ or anchor text, again, most preferred time of keyword of anchor text use here is URL and CAPEX. So from Tool competitors, we get an idea that you know, that you are architects seemed to be the most preferred type here, right? Which means that if you go ahead and start building a lot of backlinks using cure anchor text, you may have a higher chance of getting penalized right or getting punished by search engines because your competitors are not using. Because for this particular keyword, Google isn't preferring to use to R2 ran website or width high Q or anchor text right ratio. So for this website again, this one standing up to them, this is a miscellaneous type anchor text, right? Because it has no relationship to your cage or the keyword door to run for. And this is how the stop your cat from biting this again, you know, spammy backlinks, you can ignore that. This one, how to start with Catherine binding again, this is exact keyword, this brand at anchor tags, right? But again, nofollow here according to harsh, right. Because the name of the website hears Hodge.com. And this one way to prevent against this type of biting does contain at least one popular key word, fighting, right? And therefore it is a key where anchor text. So we have found key, three key where anchor text and the remaining, this is a, again nofollow. So all of them are no followed and the remaining are nofollow. So as you can see here, again, for, for this particular page, the most preferred type of anchor text here is URL anchor tags, and only a few of q or anchor text air. So right now, I hope you're getting the idea right. Therefore, we can conclude that for this particular keyword, most preferred type anchor text that you are going to be building to your website. Here is URL or branded anchor text fried Arctic concentrative ones, which means you will not focus on the cure and their texts shore you would want to include some of the queue are architects as well, right? Like two or three from your competitor has, you can see. But then you know, you would, you would not want to kinda go over the board with this right? Now, let's, now you might have some questions and let's say you build less at 3Q or anchor text. And for some reason you are still not ranking well-done what you do. And then you may go ahead and build a little bit more, more than your competitor, right? Let's say four or five. Because you know, the idea here is just to, the goal of doing this research is to get the idea right on one, the most preferred one. But it doesn't mean that, you know, you have to follow them exactly to the point, but you have to kind of make sure you get the idea right of what is the type of anchor text then you would want to focus the most on, right? I hope you are getting the idea now, right? And if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me and I'll try to answer your questions or your query and as soon as possible. And that's all for this lesson to the next one. 28. Guest Post Link Building: Lesson five, how to build backlinks using guest posting method. Now, this lesson is also another updated lesson as the previous lesson that I taught you how to build backlinks using guest posting, that technique is outdated now, based on the recommendation of the characters are what is a good link? You'll see that we can go about using the technique like fighting. I'm using the word guest posts are right for us anymore and that's why you needed to update this lesson. So guest posting is a technique of posting your content on other people's website with the aim of getting a link back to your website. So if you're new to guest posting is essentially a technique of you right into content. For other website owners. Within that content, you actually plays a link back to your website. So you're given other people's websites free content, but it will not, it will not mostly not be free as I'll explain you in a second. And then within that, within that content, there's a link back to your website. Is currently one of the most famous techniques of link building and are widely used by SUVs and business orders. Now currently as of 2023, guest posting is, is pretty much the most famous link building technique. And largely due to the effectiveness of the method, that is link building using guest posting seems to be working the best compared to other type of link building, as well as scalability is easier to to scale. Guest posting, although not the easiest technique, but it's easier to scale than, let's say, other type of link building such as PBMs, e.g. that's why it's like the most famous technique of link building nowadays. Most of the guests pose, including other techniques and I'm going to explain to you in this course, are now paid due to an increase in demands of building high-quality links overall. As I mentioned, since links built, guest posting is like the most famous technique and other techniques which I'm going to introduce you in the next lesson is also not, um, is also quite famous as well. Therefore, there's a, there's a huge increase in demands of building high-quality links. And, you know, since many of the website owners have already been reached out or contacted by many of the SCOs and business owners over the past decade or two, they are almost of them fully aware of the value of link and value of guests pulls. That's why nowadays, if you try to reach out to other website owners to try to build links using less it gets palsy or any other technique. They will most likely charge you for it. If you enroll in this course. And previously I mentioned that you could get away with some free, free guest pools of free backlink nowadays as of 2023. And even moving forward, I don't see this ever going to be free anymore like most of the cases. In fact, a roughly about 95 to 97% of all the website you reach out to are going to ask for some, some, something in return and most cases is going to be money. Hence, there are two ways you can go about this. First, you can either manually reach out to website owners, asking for a guest post and then pay for it, of course, or outsource this. The average cost of doing it yourself is roughly about $70 to $100 per guest post or per backlink. Whereas if you hire company, it will cost roughly about 01:50 to $200. And the core, the cost here can be more expensive for more competitive niches, such as casinos, CBD, et cetera. So therefore, there are two ways you can go about building links in general. One, you can either outreach or contact other website owners and asks for a guess, pause opportunity or Oxford backlinks, and then you have to pay for that yourself. Or another way here is you can hire or outsource this to link building agency or to SEO company. And they're going to charge you a significant, significantly higher than if you were to do it yourself. And that's mainly because when you hire a company to do a guest post for you, they will also write the content for you as well. So you're not going to do anything yourself. They're gonna, they're gonna cover everything for you. Alright? So that's why they're going to also cover the cost of writing as well, as well as the cost, the labor cost, the service cost. That's why when you hire the companies or the agencies, they're going to most likely charge significantly higher if you were to do it yourself. However, if you're just operating a small website or you're doing this for, for a local client. Which in most cases, in local SEO, you don't really have to outsource this unless you know, you're you're, you have a lot of clients and you can't manage everything yourself. You can obviously hire someone to do it for you. And here's the game plan of how you would approach this. First, you're going to find guest post opportunities. So the first step is obviously you have to identify where you can get a link from, where it can do a guest post on right there two techniques about how to do this. First, you can either check your competitors. And the second one here is you can search for normal keywords, which I'm going to show you in a second of how to go about this. Wants to fight against Poe's opportunity. You will do all the due diligence as given in the previous lesson on what makes a good link. So you check whether our side has organic traffic or not. You'll check whether It's coming from a relevant domain. Check whether or not a da or DR is at least 30, something like that. So you go and do all the due diligence as in whatever I gave you in the checklist. Once you have confirmed that the side that you have reached out to is good enough, then you will find the contact of the site owners and then send an email outreach. Now when you send out an email to contact the site owners, you don't really have to think about much about it. That's most of the site owners nowadays are pretty much aware of this, right? So prior to you, in most cases, the website that you reach out to had already been reached out to previously by some other companies or people. But like I said, it's 2023 and guest posting has become a huge trend in link building. Therefore, most of the site owners nowadays are pretty much aware of this technique. So you don't have to do anything fancy when it comes to e-mail outreach. You can just send any generic emails and mentioned that you want to guess, pause or what a backlinks. And they will all likely reply back with a, with a standard template e-mail saying that, you know how much it's going to cause, et cetera, et cetera. So don't think much about it. Just reach out forth in the email oxygen. If there are any content guidelines that you have to follow up, you can even suggest them the topics you're interested in writing on. Like I said, most of the site owners are already aware about guest posting and they're going to have some guidelines and some cost structure regarding this. However, it is also a good idea to ask the website order if there are any content guidelines you need to follow or less than you already have a topic or your mind to write about. You can ask if this is a good topic or not. And the reason being because website owners, I mean, most of the website owners, obviously they do care about their content quality. And therefore, they will have certain guidelines and structure that you will need to follow. Or let's say a topic that you can write or cannot write about. So make sure you ask this upfront from the website owner for us before you go ahead and start the procedure. Once you have confirmed the topic and confirm the guidelines, you can start writing the content and then reading the content. You can add your link there. Then you can send them the content, wait for the conformations for them to publish content on your website, and then finally make the payment. Here's a pro tip. I suggest you give the post or your guest post the article that you wrote for that website, at least 24 to 48 h a chance to get indexed in Google, then make the payment. The reason being you need your guest post or you need your back limbs to bet to be index and Google for it to work the best. And sometimes you know, when you do a guest post or when you do blink building your links or your guests pull, don't index like never. So what happened here is if you don't wait until your post GET index first and you make the payment later on. If you find out that the pulse or the link doesn't get index, then you're pretty much just wasted your money there, right? So therefore, I suggest you give at least one to two days for the article to kinda get crawled and indexed by Google then only make the payment. Alright, so let's take a quick look of how you want to go abroad. Approach this in practical scenario. So let's say you want to do a guest post for your roofing New York, let's say roofing New York keyword. Now, the first step is obviously you want to identify your guest posts opportunity. So how you want to find website here is the first step is to check out your competitors so you can do a quick search for keywords. So let's say roofing New York. Then you can pick out any of your top ranking competitors. So e.g. and why roofing.com or let's say at Lakeside? Kangaroo.com. Right. Obviously, you don't want to pick Yelp and all these directories because they're not your direct competitors. So let's say you pick out this NY roofing.com. The next step here is you want to check out the Backlink profile of this, this particular competitor and then you will do the same with other competitors are ranking as well. You can even go beyond the first page and go to the second patient. See where are your competitors getting the link from? Here you can use the free edge wraps back link checker as introducing that course to quickly go about this, you can obviously use any other SEO tools. Over suggests does have a link checker tool, but it's not as good as a shrubs. And in most cases the free back and check off as rest is enough. You don't really have to subscribe for the paid plan, right? And then all you have to do here is just check out all these websites that are linking to your competitors and then see if they are a good fit. And how do you go about seeing if they are a good fit? Obviously, you can use the checklist that I introduced to you in the previous lesson to, to GARCH or to decide whether or not it's a good link to go after. So let's say you open this up, open this website up. You check if it is a if it is if the website has at least thousand visitors of work getting traffic, if it is relevant, if it is contextually relevant, type links, etc, etc. Let's say this website looks good. The next step is obviously you want to find a contact details. So you can click on the Contact Us page. Flying the contact details, reach out to the website owners and then propose a topic you want to write about. Once the topic is confirmed, you can start writing the content. Then send the content of the website owners. He will, he or she will publish it, make the payment, and then you're good to go, right? So it's a pretty simple step. Just check where your competitors are already having a link and then get the same get the same type of links. So this is the first step. The second step here is to do a quick search for a keyword in your topic, right? So what I mean, my keyword a topic here. So your website is about roofing New York. So you can do any quick search about roofing or anything related to roofing or New York, right? So let's say you can search for a keyword like e.g. how much does roofing cost? So you are searching for a generic keyword that is relevant to your topic, right? Roofing is your topic, right? Remember in local SEO, we want to try to, we have two type of topic that is one, the topic itself and second is the geographical topic or the locations, right? So you can obviously do a search for a topic itself, or you can do a soil for something relevant to New York, right? Or it can do both if you want. Then when you do a search for how much does roofing cause, what you're getting here is these are the website or the pages rather that google trusts and rank them for keyword relevant to your topic. Right? Now, all you have here in front of you here is the opportunity for you to reach out. So e.g. you can check, you can check out this website. And you can see if this website is a good fit, right? Because remember, this website is ranking for a Q are relevant to your topic, and therefore, it's a good chance that is a good website for you to reach out to. So all you have to do here is, again, find the contact information. Reach out. If you can write content on certain topics and then let them publish, make the payment, and then you're done. Right? So this way it gives you an endless opportunity to find guest post operative, to find websites for guest posting because you're going to do one search and you already found a bunch websites that are ranking on the first page that it can reach out to. You can obviously change your keyword. Search for something else that is relevant to roofing and you'll find more opportunities for you to reach out to. Alright. And just a quick note, if you came from other courses are online tutorials on how to find guess both and you see something like roofing. I didn't have something like guest posts in it. Then if you click Enter, you'll find, you know, website that accept roofing guest post. Or you do something like write for us and you click Enter, you'll find a website that, that accepts guest post about roofing. Now, this is a technique I used to teach, but not anymore. And that's like, and that's because, you know, like I said, a lot has changed in SEO. And if you go up on getting a lot of links from pages or websites that mentioned that they openly accept guest post is a red flag, right? It's a clear sign that you're not getting the links naturally or it doesn't look natural enough. And Google can easily detect this. And that's why I have this in our checklist, not to have, not to build links from website that mentioned things like rainforests are guest posts. Alright, so don't use this technique anymore. That's why I updated this lesson. And that's all for it. So in the next lesson. 29. Link Insertion Link Building: How to build backlinks part to link insertion or niche edit. Link insertions or what some people call a niche edits or curated links is similar to guest posting. With the only difference is that you're actually getting a link back to your site from an existing content. So the difference between Lincoln's assertion and guest posting here is with guest posting, you're getting a link from a freshly new written content because you write the content for that website owners and then within that content you have a link back to your website. Whereas Lincoln assertion you're getting a link back to your website from an existing content or from an old content that has already been published on your target website. Like guest posting, you can either pay or do it yourself. The average cost for buying a niche edit yourself is $50-70 per link. And in roughly about $100 per link if you hire a company. Now the cost of Lincoln surgeon is a little bit lower than guest posting. And the main reason is because when you actually either you do it yourself or you hire company for guest posting. When you give it to the website owners, the website owner needs to edit the content and then publish it. Whereas for link insertion, the website owner doesn't have to do anything. All he or she has to do here is just log into his or her WordPress website. Add your link there and maybe make a little bit of changes here and there in the paragraph and then publish it or update it. So it's relatively quicker to execute. And that's why I know the cost is lower. When you outsource this to accompany you. There's really no new continent that needs to be written, right? And that's why the company only charges for the service fee. And that's why the cost is lower. And here's the game plan of doing it yourself. If you're doing it in a small scale or just a business order of managing your own website. So the first step, just like guest posting, you're going to find niche and it's for Lincoln searching opportunities. And the same process goes here where you can check, either check your competitors and look forward to opportunity, or you can search for normal keyword. Next step here is you will again have to do all the due diligence as giving the previous lesson. Then find the contact of the site owners and send an e-mail outreach. Again, no need to think much about it. It's the same process, just like just as guest posting here. The only difference here is in the e-mail, instead of asking them about the content guidelines, send them the exact URL page you'd like your link to be featured on along with the anchor text you want. So the difference between guest posting an e-mail and linkage search in the e-mail body here is, instead of asking a website owner for any content guidelines or you send them some topics ideas. Here you're going to send the exact URL or the page you want to link to be you and your link from an ox or website owners, you know, if you can get a link on that page, then also you can, you have to give the anchor text you want as well. Like what is the word you want? When, when, when the link is placed there. Then you have to wait for their replies and see if they allow Lincoln surgeon on that URL. You want, as some website owners don't want some of their pages to be associated with link building. Now, there's a caveat here is that although you might have found a very good page or target page you want to link from. But some website owners, based on my experience, they will not allow you to insert a link on that page. Because let's say that pays a very popular page or a money-making pay for that website owners. And therefore no, he or she doesn't want it to be associated with link building in general. And that's why you'll not be allowed to add your link in that post. So you will have to wait for the website order to get back to you first. And he or she might propose some optional, some option, other options and you can choose from. And again, here's a pro tip when choosing a page or a target where you want your link to be inserted in, makes sure to choose the page that's already a ranking for something or has some traction. So when you go about finding the target page where you want your link to be inserted on in. Make sure you choose a page that's already ranking for some keywords that are getting some traffic and some traction. Traction here means, you know, let's say it's getting some social shares, is getting organic traffic, is getting, maybe all already having other links pointing to that page. And the reason being is the page itself. If it has some traction, it will make an uneven, powerful backlink. So let's take a quick look on how we want to go about this in a real world practical scenario. So again, going back to our roofing New York example, why do you want to do here is again, do a quick search for your main keyword. First step is always you want to identify a link pointing to your competitors. So let's say again for a circle because that example, I'm using NY roofing here and use the website and use the backlink plan to new NY roofing. Again, you can click and check out, let's say I'm using the same website here. Now. Instead of going and find a contact right away to send a web, the website orders that topic, idea or occipital guidelines. You will straightaway. Let's say you wanna guess you want to link insertion on this page. You want to insert your link on this page, then you can ask the website order if he or she allows a link to be inserted in this URL and this page. Let's say, you know, you found a page and I said this page, you want to link to be inserted somewhere written the content of this of this article. So again, you ox and website owners, if he or she allows it, right, also send it along with the anchor text like, let's say you want it to be this one staying calm, right? So you can ask the website owners like Okay, I wanted to link from this page and my anchor text is this one staying calm in, let's say, the fourth last paragraph of the content, something like that. Alright, so this is the first step. The second step is again, same technique. You've gotta do a quick search for anything, any keyword relevant to your topic. So again, you know how much does roofing costs can be? One of the ideas you can use? Checkout lets say go back to the same website as shorted a previous lesson. And then C, and then reach out to the website owners directly and ask if you can add a link to this particular page. Like, well, obviously it's gonna be different than guest posting. You're not writing a new contents, so you're just finding opportunities in the existing content and you can leverage. And as mentioned, a pro tip, make sure the page is already getting some traction, is already ranking for something. This pays a perfect page for your link insertion because it's ranking for something relevant to your keyword already. And if you've got a link directly from this page which is already ranking, is going to give you a lot of value in terms of link authority. Alright? So that's all for it. The other steps remains the same, like you will still have to check if there's a perfect website to go after or not based on that checklist that I gave you in the previous lesson. That's all for it. So the next lesson. 30. Guest post vs Link Insertion: Guest post versus a link insertions the good and the bad. So just to recap, guest post outreach method or guest posting is basically a process of building backlinks in which you write a new piece of content for other website owners. And once the website owner publish that content, you'd get a link back to your website or your piece of content. Whereas for Lincoln assertions, you basically reach out to other website owners and ask them to update their existing content in order to link back to your website or your piece of content. In this lesson, I'll show you, or I will explain to you the advantageous and disadvantageous of bolt. First, we'll look at guest post. The advantageous are, number one, you have control over the relevancy of your content. Since guest posting, you're basically going to write a new piece of content for that website owners. So you have a choice of choosing a topic of your own, and therefore, you can control the relevancy of your content. For example, if you want to rank for a keyword of, let us say how to train of dark not to buy. Then you might want, might want to write a guest post on a topic, let's say five steps to train doc knocked by. As you can see here, the content that you want to rank and a guest posts articles are basically very similar or very relevant to each other. And here in this case, you have full control over the relevancy of the content, which actually will help you better when it comes to the effect of backlinks. As nowadays, Google is now looking towards the relevancy of the backlinks, as I explained to you earlier. Second, you have control over the anchor text use since it is the content that you write. And then deep to the website owners, you basically have a full control over what anchor text you want to use. Since you are the one who write the content. And third, because you're receiving a link from a brand new content is generally much safer downlink insertion. In general, when talking about risk gets policies basically the most, the most safest way to build backlinks for your website. And that is because you are actually getting backlinks from a brand new content and less top. Let, for example, you'll think about it on the internet. What do you think is the percentage of people who are actually going back to their older piece of content and update the content in order to link back to my other website. The chances here is very low, right? When we talk about naturalness, your tend to get backlinks from a brand new page rather than getting backlinks from an existing piece of content, right? Because let's say, you know, like for instance, you own website when you want to write a new piece of content on your website, what do you want to do first you want to research on that topic, right? So during the research process, you might find other website which you know. Which is a good resource for additional resource to your piece of content. So in the process of writing your own piece of content, you might also want to link out to that piece of content for a reference, right? So in this way you actually giving back links to other pieces of content. So this also happens with other website as well. And that's why I know backlinks generally are more naturally bound to happen on a brand new piece of content rather than existing piece of content, which makes it much safer. Driveway comes to algorithms being, being able to detect as to whether or not, you know, you're trying to manipulate the rankings. Now let's look at some of the disadvantageous here. Number one, it is more expensive in general for both the cost of the content as well as a placement. Since you're going to, you're going to pay for to cost in this case, right? So first is going to be the cause of the content. So let's say you don't have time and you want to, you know, you need to build battling using guest posts. Then what you have to do is you have to hire, right? Alright, alright, that piece of content. And once you pay for that writers, you also have to pay for the placement right off that backlinks. Because as I mentioned earlier, nowadays, building backlinks, in most cases, the website owners are going to ask you for some money here. And generally they're going to act more when it comes to guest post as well because you know, they have to check your content. They have to put some effort in editing the content right now to make sure that the content tosses during guidelines. And also, you're gonna pay a much higher rate than Lincoln assertions in general. But of course, if you decide to write the content by your own, then you save up the cost for the content. But again to placement clause is usually much more expensive than Lincoln's assertion. Second disadvantage here is not easy to scale which require, and that is because it required to write a new piece of content every times. So think about scalability here. Let's say you want to build backlinks from ten website using guest posts. So for each and every website, you have to keep on writing new piece of content, right? Because you climb, basically recycle the same content again and again. Because you know, every website owners wanted to have unique content on their website, right? So it is quite difficult or slow scaling here. And thirdly, it is less powerful. And where you've talked about power here we are actually talking about authority or the bathymetry of R1, R2 power of the backlinks. So when you actually build backlinks from guest post, your building backlinks from a brand new page, right? Which has no authority, which has, you know, basically, you know, has nothing, right, has no power, has nothing. And noise coming from brand new page. And therefore, you're not gonna get much of a power from it. You know, unless you let it sit on the other website for some times and then, you know, over time it will become more powerful, right? It will have more authority. And. We thought we would talk about authority here we're basically talking about the power of the page, right? Which is able to transfer the backlinks power two. So now we are continue and we'll look at the link insertions for both pros and cons. So number one for the prose is cheaper and total costs, as mentioned, Lincoln searching in general is much cheaper than gas pose. Here you don't have to actually reload. You actually have to write the piece of content still. But if you compare the causes of placement of Lincoln search into clausal claimant for guest post is generally much cheaper because, you know, it is much easier for other website owners to, you know, to execute, right? Because all they have to do is just logging to their WordPress website and update the backlinks. Tacit. Secondly, is easier to scale, but you talk about scalability here is much easier to scale when comes to the link insertion outreach. And that's because, you know, you only require one piece of content on your website. And all you have to do next is just outreach and get secure the links, right? Because Let's say you want to build links to today an article on how to train, how to train a dock, not to bark, not to bite, right? Then you publish that piece of content. Now what do you do next? You just follow that tutorial which I just showed you on how to do Lincoln assertions. And you basically just have to reach out to other website owner, an Oxford links to that piece of content. So you don't have to repeatedly create a neo backlinks every time, right? In order to link to your website. And thirdly, is more powerful Since you're actually building backlinks from existing piece of content on other website. That particular existing piece of content may also have backlinks pointing to that page as well, right? So you think about it, that piece of content can also, you know, how will become more authority or authority date, right? And we'll have more power. So let's say that protocol piece of content already have had some back links pointing to it. So if we go ahead and get that page to link back to you, then you're basically getting all the backlinks power that that particular page has and transferred to you. So you can imagine here how much part of actually getting here right from the existing piece of content. Now, what are some of the columns or disadvantageous here? When you're talking about link insertions. Number one, it's more risk. As explained in the previous light. Backlinks are more naturally bound to happen on a brand new page rather than existing bins of content. So it is generally much more risky if you want to, you know, build backlinks using link insertion on a large scale. Of course, you can use this method but, you know, I would advise you to go with something betweens 6535 or 70-30 in in a form of racial rights. So sixty-five percent would be guessed both. 35% would be lincoln surgeons, or 70% guess pose and 30% Lincoln surgeons. So you would want to make sure that your guess postmen outreach method, you're actually building back links using guest posts are reached method more than Lincoln assertions. Second disadvantage here is a lack of control and Clinton relevancy. Since you are actually getting backlinks from existing piece of content from other web site. You basically has no control over what, what their content is all about, right? So you have to, you, you have no control over that. So all you have control over is basically nothing, right? So, and that's basically the lack of controlling anchor text as well. So both the content irrelevancy as well, the anchor text here, because you know, you're just simply asking, although website owners to insert a link back from an existing anchor text, right? So in this way, you are basically, some website owners allow you to also change the anchor tags, but in most of the cases they won't allow. So that can also put your website at risk as well, right? Less Emile if you build backlinks using LinkedIn assertions from, let's say ten website and all those tens are using keyword anchor tags. And you know, let's say for your particular keywords, for your niche, it is not actually advisable to use more of a cure anchor text. And then now you have a problem, right? And that's why Lincoln surgeons can be a little bit more risky and harder to control. And that's all for this lesson. If you have any questions, once again, you can always reach out to Lee or oximeter Q and a sessions. Thank you for watching. See you next lesson. 31. Amplify Local Signal With PR: amplify local signal with press release, press release or PR. Is the process off syndicating or distributing about your business news across various publishing sites? In the past, this method has been heavily abused and spanned. So Google doesn't really count this unless you're distributing your content on quality signs. By utilizing PR service, you're essentially having your business name. Plus, what do you do and your address mentioning the articles. This helps ghoul understand about your business better. So in a typical press release article, it would be something like your business name and then what you do and what is your address and about your business news or etcetera, etcetera. So by having thes kind of what we call us mentions on multiple websites, that is, when you're actually applying for press release service, they'll actually distribute your articles to about thousands off websites out there. And by having these mentions again again on various websites, it kind of tells the Google that your business is about something on in a particular local area. You can use a free PR service like PR log dot org's, which I'm going to show you in a minute. However, I recommend you to go for the paid service if you're doing it in a large scale to get the highest quality. No PR lock is not a bad website, but at the other day, any prayer service will give you a better quality website. So here's the particle website, which I talked about pr log dot org's. They offer a free press release distribution service. But besides that, I also have a I think they also have a subscribe versions or a paid version as well. So I recommend you go after this or you can simply hire anyone for a press release service . That's all for this lecture soon. The last conclusion note. 32. Introduction To EAT: Module five, AAT. This is a special module in which I feel like to be included in this particular course. As over the past few years, II 18 SU has become a much more important topic than ever before. And I've believed that this course is one of the few or the only course available out there that offer training on e 18 SEO. So I'd like you to keep in mind that is a particular, it is a very important topic and therefore to listen carefully and implemented on your website moving forward. Lesson one, what is E a T and SEO and why it's important? Ea T stands for expertise, authoritative ness, and trustworthiness is actually a concept in SEO that defines the overall quality of your content and website to make sure that your information is the most reliable to the users. Now, unlike any other things that we discussed so far, AAT is not a ranking factors, but rather a concept as it encompasses or contains whole lot's of other signals that are quite subjective. And when it comes to this concept, it is used to actually defines the overall quality of your content on a website in order to make sure that you know it is the most reliable to the user's. This concept or acronym is wild discuss in detail in the quality of radar guidelines, a document used by quality radars all over the world. What are real human beings in order to rate the quality of the search results by looking at various websites randomly. Now this particular acronym or term VAT is being quite or explain in details in that document called quality raider guidelines, which is an official document by Google, which is available to the public right now, but earlier, let's say about 2-3 years back, it was only available to a group of people called quality LET raters, which are a group of people hired by Google in order to rate or, you know, kind of like look at the search results and rate the quality of the search results, right? And they also will also click through the results to look at the website as well. And this is like a group of people wrestled. They're scattered all over the world and in different places. And there'll be assigned to follow a particular instructions, which is, which are highlighted or outline inequality radar guidelines in order to rate right the search results. For the past few years, Google has been heavily focused in AAT in order to surface the best possible results for the users. Now, as you might have probably noticed, over the years, there have been arise in many of the spammy websites and like unworthy website, right? So in order to maintain a quality, quality search results and in order to make sure that, you know, Google delivers the most trustworthy, the most useful content to the users. They have the, they started new implementing AAT or this concept into their algorithms in order to make sure that, you know, the Google returns the most quality content or the most quality results to the users, right? And while the first few signs with, you know, Google actually kinda stated that they will be heavily focused on this particular concept is back in 2018 when they release a core update or a large annual update, ri, which Google does every year, called the medic update, which was released in August 2018. So you can go ahead and search about the medic update, which was, you know, what are the biggest updates that Google released in the recent years? And they were heavily focused on, you know, AAT. Although VAT concept is required by all types of businesses and website, it's more prominent or important for those niches that fall under the category called YM while, or your money or your life niches or queries. Now, VAT is actually a concept, right? It's being applied throughout for all kinds of businesses or niches. And but it is actually more important, important or prominent in the niches that fall under the category called y. While Nietzche, right? Or your money or live. Nietzsche's, which are basically a category created by Google in order to, you know, two defines the, the group of websites that actually happened impacts directly on people's life, right? So as you can see here, why well is how Google refers to web pages and content that could have a negative impact on the quality of people's lives or their finances. So VAT is more important for, you know, for certain niches that have, that have a direct impact on people's lives or their finances. So this includes niches such as health, fitness. Like anything that relates to their, you know, their health finances and their well-being. So these niches will require higher type of VAT or you have to focus more AAT. Whereas other niches such as, for instance, it's more local. Restaurants may require lower E a T, or may not have to really implement EIT at all on their website, right? So regardless of whatever you're nice you're in, whether your affiliate marketing, local businesses, e-commerce, right? You have to implement VAT on your website. And you know, over the years, like, especially in the upcoming years, it will become more important than ever before. And from my experience, from the trends that Google's going in, each of their algorithm updates. This seemed to be heavily focusing more and more AAT as, you know, as they're released, more and more algorithm updates. So in the next lesson, I will introduce you to the first element of e 18, that is expertise. And I'll also explain to you as well later on in the course on how to actually implement VAT on your website. But before that, let me show you what the actual what the actual quality of rater guidelines look like. So, you know, if you have time, I suggest, I highly recommend you to actually go through it. And you'll read right, what, what is it and you know, like, what is it that Google is looking for from a website? So this is actually the Google quality rater guidelines, which is available for free on the internet. So it can go to Google and search for Google quality rate or guidelines. And the first link should be at right? So this is the link here and say Go ahead and click on it. And it will open a PDF file here which contains about 175 pages and you can see here. So they update this document frequently, right? Like sometimes they would do a minor changes, sometimes they would do some major changes. So this is the actual documents, right? That the quality raters or the people who rate the search results. Actually we will have to read, write, and to perform different instructions in order to rate the search results. So as you can see here, go through everything in details, right? So we'd explain to you what is a good results looked like? What does a back results look like, right? What does it low quality results look like. What does a high-quality results look like? So you can go through it. I highly suggest you to read through it, right? Or you know, or you can find some some like a brief explanation about it as well on the internet. So you can search for something like, you know, short version or something like that, but it is better to go through the official document, right, so that's all for this lecture. See you next video. 33. Expertise: Lesson two, expertise. In this lesson, we will dive into the first element of e a t, and that is expertise. The first element in E8. He's expertise, which is defined by how much of an expertise the author of the content has on a particular topic. For example, if you were to search for a query on less say, how to feel allergy naturally, Google would choose to rank content that belong to either big, authoritative medical site or small websites run by actual people who have actually heal themselves of the disease and are providing his or her case studies. So when we talk about expertise, it is basically a who is actually behind the content that you know, that it's being surface on the search results, right? Because think about it like if you were to search for like in this instance, how did you allergy naturally, let's say, you know, even get a result from a new website, right? From someone who, you know, who doesn't even qualify to be a medical person, then of course, you know what that results would be. It could be, it could actually give you harm more than good, right? Because let's say if they give you some wrong advisor and you start implementing that in your health or your life than you ended up being in more serious health issues, right? And that's why I know Google is really like looking to surveys content written by experts on a particular topic, right? So like here, how to feel energy naturally. You would get the content either from a big, authoritative, trustworthy website, such as health line.com or Web MD. Or you know, from a smaller website who, or which are run by actual people who have actually no heal themselves. And you'll have kinda documented his or her process. And in the case studies Ri, So Google will be able to determine whether or not a particular content is written by experts are not. However, keep in mind that these various from query to query, business to business. For, for instance, if your company expertise may be associated with your actual company itself rather than into UDL Hillman. Now, keep in mind that when we talk about expertise and AAT in general, just as what I mentioned earlier, it varies from business to business needs to niche and also query to query. So VAT for, let's say a health needs are held. Queries may be different from E, a, T from, let's say local business, right? Which you know, which may not require actual people to actually, you know, to write the content itself, right? Like the expertise may not be, may not lie in the actual people who write the content, but rather, you know, associated with the actual company arise. So let's say, you know, if you're a local business, then ready comes to AAT. The expertise may be associated with the actual company arrived because it makes sense, right? Let's say we want to search. You want to hire a roofers, then you know, you would want to choose I roofing company, right? Rather a particular rule first. Whereas let's say if you want to search on like how to heal allergy naturally, then it can either be, you know, from a trustworthy Medical Institute website or from the actual people, right? So you have to look at a query as well and look at the business. Well, in the next lesson, our dive deep into the authority, deafness and trustworthiness. And that's all for this lecture. So in the next lesson. 34. Authority and Trust: Lesson three, authoritative ness and trustworthiness. The last two elements in AAT are authoritative ness and trustworthiness. We usually go hand in hand and in most cases, one element leads to one another. Now think about it. When we talk about authoritative nest. It also can lead to trustworthiness and trustworthiness skeleton lead back to being authoritative openness, right? Because, you know, being an authority in the space also means you are trustworthy entity. Whereas if you are trustworthy, entity means you're also an authoritative entity in that space as well, right? To put it simply, the a and T factors defines how credible you are business or brand is online for particular needs and query. So as simple definitions for a authoritative lis and trustworthiness combine the a and the T factors actually defines how credible your business or brand is online for a particular niche or queries, or how well positioned your brand is online. Therefore, when talking about AAT in general, that is more often off-page factor than on-page as VAT is a relative factor. So let me talk about e 18 general eight is more of an off-page factor or you know, it depends on the outside factors out though outside of your website, more than the on-page factor or the factors present on your website, right. And it is a relative factors means E HE let's say, you know, if the first results ranked number three in the search results have more EIT that results in a ranking the Mu1. Then overtime that third results may, you know, may rank higher rather than the forced ranking results. So it is actually a relative factor here means like who actually has the most VAT on for a particular niche, for a particular query, right? Like for instance, if your business or brand is widely recognized online by the majority of trustworthy sites, such as New York Times, Forbes, et cetera. As a reputable medical site specialized in auto immune diseases, you will be deemed to have high VT compared to your competitors who hardly have any online replication and are barely new to the game, hence, will make you rank higher. This what I explain, it isn't being unrelated factor here, right? When we talk about AAT, for instance, you know here the example is clearly shown that if your brand or business that is being widely recognized by online websites such as, you know, New York Times and Forbes. You'll be deemed as a highly high VAT site compared to, you know, to your competitors who let's say No, they're just brand new, narrower websites, brand new, they're brand new, social, brand new, and not many people know about them. And you know, that don't, they barely have any, you know, like authority, the people or side mentioning about them read therefore, you know, you actually run Cairo, none them. Now in the next lesson, in the next two lessons, I'll actually teach you how to implement AAT, both the on-page, like how to implement VAT on your actual website and how to prevent AAT using the off-page signals, right? Or how to use outside signals to influence your AAT. And that's all for this lesson. See you in the next lesson. 35. How To Implement On Page EAT: Lesson four, how to implement the on-page one. When implementing EHR on-page and off-page, the goal is to send various signals or demonstrate to Google that you have the VAT on your site and the whole brand. When you implement AAT, is kind of like sending various signals to Google, to kind of show to Google that you have a particular VAT on your website. And the reason is because you have to remember that Google is nothing but just a mere robot, right? So it's not a human being, it's just some robot. So it's your job. In order to let Google knows using the easiest possible method. In order to let them know about your e a t. Because if you don't let them know, they would have to figure it out on their own. And therefore, it will make things much harder for them. And it will also take you longer in order to get the results. Some of the on-page things that you can do in order to send signals to Google are, number one, make sure your site has privacy policy terms and conditions and an about us page to show to Google about your identity and that you're a real legit running business. First signal you can do is to actually have pages such as privacy, policy terms and conditions or both. And as importantly, the About Us page in order to show to Google about the identity of your business or brand that you are a real legit running business. Because remember, the goal of implementing AAT here is to show to Google and to show to users that you're a real legit running business and you have a particular authority and particular expertise and political trust behind your brand. So the first, easiest signal that you can do right off the bat is to have these important pages on your website. Because if you look at other spam website or any other low-quality websites, they usually won't have real additivity is right, that they're real legit running business. Next up, what you can do here is on your about us page, make sure you write clearly about your company or who you are. If you're running it as a personal website, watch your business is all about and make sure to link out to other places where you have been featured or talked about online. So next, once you have your about us page, you have to make sure that you write clearly about your company, walked you do your brand. Or if you are running a website as an individual person or individual brand, then you have to describe about who you are, what you do, et cetera. And when you do that, you also want to make sure that you link out to other places where you have been featured or talked about on line. Let's say you are, you have been featured on Forbes and less a New York Times, right? Then you can, what you can do is you can link out to those pages. Those sites where you have been featured on. So this can kind of makes it easier for Google to connect the dot, right? As to connect the dots between your brand and the places where you have been featured on like a trustworthy place. And therefore, that will help build additional trust to your website and your brand. Next, what you can do here is you can also happen author Fox, and information about your author. Preferably an author page to show who writes the content. So this point helps demonstrate expertise, right? So on your website, if you're, if you're doing a content marketing, like if you publish content, it is wise to actually, you know, have author box rights to actually demonstrate to Google or to tell who Google who's actually behind that content. And you also would prefer to have an author page, write a page on your website which have a clear details about your authors. Whether it is you yourself who writes the content or other people who, who you have hired or you know, you have kind of taken to write the contents. So those people who will become your author of the content. And therefore, you know, you have to make sure that you show that clearly to Google by having author boxes or preferably author page. Another thing you can do here is have a clear contact details such as business name, address, phone number, and other useful information. Another point here to show to Google that you're a clue real legit running business is to have a clear contact details such as business name, address, phone number, and other information. And lastly heres to publish high quality rail research topic. So another you can add to your AAT for the on-page. Here's to publish content regularly, a high-quality content. And you also want to make sure that the content are well-researched, right? You wouldn't want to write on a topic that aren't well-researched, that aren't backed up by data, right? Because that would be, you know, because that, that could be a fake data, right? Or that could be not a 100% uncertain because think about it right? Let's say your health website and you write a content, you'll write a blog post on, let's say you know, how to heal allergy using less say, Apple, right? Of course, you know, Apple helps healing allergies, but that it is. And that is not a 100% right, because you can't obviously Hugh allergy using Apple. So is the information here is kind of misleading, right? So you wouldn't want that because, you know, Google, really careful about selecting information that they can trust. And therefore, you can't really rank well by writing something which are not backed up by well-researched data, something like that. So let me kind of show you a real life example of some of the E8 on-page VAT on some of the real running website, right? So I've pulled up to websites. So one is a general website. And the website is a actually a local website. So you can have an idea of how to actually implement it, right? So this is the first website. Here is their website is an SEO agency website, right? So it is run by Marie Haynes, one of the, we'll recognize SEO or personalities in the industry. So this is her website and it is her About Us pages you can see here. So robbed the bank, she introduced she introduces herself, right, a little bit short bio bar herself. So she or you know, Google and as well as the users can understand, right? And then later on she wrote about her story, right? I, how she got started in SEO, et cetera. You may as well have this right, so you can let the users know as well. And they're right here. Here's a section on her website where she mentioned a various places right. Where we're going to talk about her, right? Or where she has been featured on. So for instance, Mauss write Search Engine Watch lands. So this another big authoritative as SEO website Mozi is of course, a very reputable SEO website as well. So as you can see here, all these website where she has been featured on, she hasn't linked to her on the page, right? So if you open up these links and this will lead these will lead you to the pages where she has been featured on. Right. So this, as I mentioned, we helped connect the dot right, between your website and the places where you have been featured on. And then you know, here also she has like a clear address, right? So as you can see, a clear Address and that's pretty much it, right? So as you can see, so this a good example of a Good About Us page and a good on page 80. So, and of course you also have terms and condition pages, right? So I'm pretty sure she has its somewhere here. It will show you also have a clear contact page, as we can see, right? So, so this the fourth example. So let's move on to another example. This is a local website, so occasion or your local business or you do SEO for local businesses, so disallowed, they're like scenario, right? So this is another example which I was about to find on the internet that has good on page 80. So this is their about us page right, of this particular company called quail plumping. Right. So as you can see you so initially they, they, they have a real picture residency here. So real legit picture of their companies and van. So these are the first thing, right, that chose to users of Google, that they're actually a real legend running business rising and C. So the next, you know, they have like a bio about what they do writable their companies, et cetera. So it shows clearly what they do, What about them, about their companies, et cetera. And then right here at this section, this is the place where they have been featured on, right? So as you can see here, so they've been featured on neural triple B accommodation. So as you can see, the app also link to triple B arrived with an a plus rating here. And if also, they're also license and bonnet resume. They also tell to Google as well as users that they're a licensed contractor, right? So this AGA again, no shows clearly about their expertise, about their authority on, about, you know, about their brand, right? And of course, you know, they have their clear address here, but phone number and business hours. So as you can see here, it is a very clear e, a t page. And of course you can see on the top here, you also have privacy policy page and FAQ page, right, if you want to add that. And then we also have, you know, like turbulent condition pages as well, right? Like for instance. So so they have all, all of the elements that represent as a being a real clear, real legit running bread, right? So I hope you're getting the idea here and the next lesson, I'll teach you how to implement VAT on the off-page level. So that's all for this lecture. See you next lecture. 36. How To Implement Off Page EAT: How to implement e a t off page. So in the previous lecture, I showed you how to actually implement e a, t, or sin various ET signals to Google on your actual website. And this lecture, I'll show you different things and you can do in order to use the outside or off-page signals to influence the VAT on your website. So some of the off-base things you can do to send signals to Google are, number one, acquire links from high authority and trustworthy website that talks about your brand. To decide includes things such as news website and other major players are major websites, industry or Nietzche. So the first and probably the most strongest signal then you can use to influence e a t on your website is to acquire backlinks from high, authoritative and trustworthy website. So these are generally a news website, right? So this New York Times, Forbes, or if you're in a local space, then it could be, you know, a local news website, right? So these are sites that Google generated generally trust and you know, these are also have, they also have high authority or other sites in your industry, right? That are like, kind of like a major players or main site. So let's say we're in an SEO Nietzche, right? So it would be wise essay would be benefit to you if you get links from Laissez websites, that is mosque.com, right? Or search engine journal.com. So these two are the big, big players in the SEO industries, right? And they, of course are also high authoritative website as well. Next, what you can do here is to get coverage about your business or brand mention about your business or author featured on news website. So another thing you can do here is to actually get your business or your brand name out there and, you know, lead. Get some coverage right on news websites. Because once again, like I mentioned, news website are generalists site that Google trusts that are highly authoritative. And if you have lots of brand mention or you know, if they mentioned a lot of other authority websites mentioned above, your brand or your business, then you know, of course, that will send signals to Google that you're highly authoritative and trustworthy entity, right? And this can also be in the same case as the author as well, right? So the author or who writes the content on your website. Next, you can also maintain positive brand image online. This includes things such as reviews and feedback. And other thing which Google looks at from time again, is your online reputation tried. So this includes things such as your reviews and your feedback online on various channels, right? So this could include places such as trust, trust pilot, Google, My Business Review's right, if you're a local business, local websites reveal right? So various places or CrunchBase, all all these, you know, reviews cured at sites, right. And next is quality brand signals or searches and social media presence omnichannel present. So the last, actually the last thing you can do to influence the VAT on your website is to have, you know, quality brand signals, right? So this means people are aware of a brand, right? So you would utilize social media and other channels, right? So here I mentioned omni channel presence means multi-channel approach in order to market your business or your brand, right? So you have to kind of build the awareness, build the authority around your brand using various signals, such as using various channels, such as social media, paid advertisement, et cetera, right? So all these voom help users or people become more aware about your brand. And therefore, they will start, go to, start going to Google and search about your brand online. And this will becomes what we call a US brand searches, right? So if more and more people start searching above your brand and start engaging with your brand online. And Google can. And Google will be able to pick these signals up in these engagement up. And over time, you will be viewed AS highly AAT, right? So that's all for this module and that's all for this course. So in the next, next section, I'll introduce you to a various bonuses that you can apply it, which include various tips and tricks on your website, right? So before moving to that part, here is an analogy that I'd like you to keep in mind. So SEO overall is like a car where on-page and technical represents the car itself, and off-page represents gasoline or oil to power your car. So SEO as a whole, you can't think like a car and gasoline, right? So when we talk about on-page and technical, that actually is represented by the body of your car. And the off-page signals is represented by gasoline or oil, right, which are used to power your car. So when other will build car or via the bill, well maintain or well-structured on-page and technical. No matter how good a gasoline or off paid you have, the car wouldn't be able to run well. Right? So no matter how good you are, no matter how good your off-page signal is resonant lesson, no matter how good your backlinks is, your grant signal is right. Without a will, maintain well-structured on-page your.com and I'll be able to run well, similarly, no matter how good a car you have and that is your on-page. Without gasoline or off ph to car wouldn't be able to run. So I've run this again, right? No matter how good a car you have, gasoline or oil, you wouldn't be able to start your engine, right? And therefore, you have to make sure that you have a good on-page and off-page as both are required to make the car run swell. And I hope you like this analogy and make sure to keep this in mind. And that's all for this lecture. See you next lecture. 37. How To Index Content Faster On Google: Special lecture how to improve indexation on Google. So it is a newly added lecture on how to improve the chance of getting your new content indexed on Google. For the past one to two years, google has tying up there indexing and webmasters have Colombian continuously facing trouble getting new content index. And this is especially for newer content. A new site were to pass one to two years. Indexing new content, especially for new website on Google, has become much more difficult. And I've been getting tons of inquiries from where students on how to improve their indexation. And that's why I decided to release this new video from us speculations is probably due to the increase of AI generated and low-quality content that has flooded the Internet. Since indexation comes with a cost that is servers storage, google will have to be picky on what they index from now moving forward, in from my speculations, from what I've been observing and from what I've been talking with other SEOs, the difficulty in getting new content index is probably due to the increase of AI generated and low-quality content that has become a popular trend over the past few years. And that has flooded the Internet. Since indexation comes with a cost that is, in order for new content to get index, it needs to be saved to the server. There's a storage cost there, as well as the space cost that Google needs to cover. And that's why Google needs to be picky on what they indexed because they can't simply index everything is going to cost him a lot of money. Therefore, to increase your chance of getting content index faster, you have to make sure your content or the page you want to be to get indexed with specific along with your entire domain is important, high-quality enough. In order to increase your chance of getting your content index faster, you have to prove that you are worthy of getting index. You have to prove that your entire website is high-quality enough in the eyes of Google. So some of the ways you get increased your content priority or the importance of your content in the eyes of Google are. Number one, you can make sure your content is truly unique and exceptionally high-quality. Can't just write any piece of content or a keyword and expect it to get index anymore, let alone rankings. You can't just be among the other documents or other pages that on the same topic. You have to make sure you go above and beyond when you ride your content needs to make sure it's truly unique, well-researched, and super high-quality. You have to also make sure that you get your site listed on major directories and trusted site. Having your site listed and other trusted sources or trusted site, just trust Pilot, CrunchBase, or in other social, high profile social media sizes as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube can make your site looks high-quality, can make your site looks more trustworthy. And this will make your site become more important in the eyes of Google. And another thing you can try to make sure to have high-quality backlinks pointing to your site. Backlinks is while the most important ranking factors in Google and Google looks at factoring because assignment authority of nist and trustworthiness. So if you have many high-quality backlinks pointing to your site or the page, then you will be deemed as important and therefore, your chance of getting new pages index on your website is gonna be higher. You can also try adding more internal links from important pages on your site to your newly created content and you want to get index. And what I mean by important pages here is any page on your website that you constantly getting tractions, your homepage, or any other pages that you get traction suggest you get backlinks to that page all the time. You get traffic good at page all the time. That page is very popular on Google and people share it, people love it. So those have a pages are called as important pages. They are the pages that constantly getting traction on online. And if you link that, given an internal link from that important pay to any page you want to get indexed on your website. It will be something like transferring the priority of transferring named ports are sharing the important from that page to your newly created page. So it asks what Google it could be something like this newly page is getting linked from a very high important page on this domain. And therefore this newly created page must also be another important page as well. I hope you're getting the logic behind this. Besides the above points that I mentioned, here are some of the exclusive tricks that you can try. These tricks I've been tried and tested by myself and I've seen a lot of success with it. First trick, you can try to add a link to a page you want to get indexed. In the YouTube description. So assuming that you get your site listed on Major Director trusted and site, one of them being YouTube. You would also have your own YouTube channel connected with your website, right? What you can do here is when you publish a new client on your website, you can also upload a new video on your YouTube channel in the description for you, you can also add and link back to your newly created articles are published content or any page on your website you want to get indexed. Seems YouTube is a very high authority website and very trusted website. And of course it is also owned by Google, it themselves, google trust YouTube a lot. And therefore, if you add a link back to your website or your page from a YouTube descriptions, there's a chance of your page getting indexed faster and Google. Another trick you can try here is to use a rank mask indexing API. Now this is only for WordPress users. So Rank Math SEO company that creates SEO plug-ins. And they all don't have one of the plugins cause Rank Math Indexing API utilize Google Search Console API. So it will kind of help you bypass all the filters and help your content getting indexed faster by utilizing this API. Let me show you these two tricks and how you can implement them on the website. Let me first show off the adding your website to the YouTube description. So let's say you go to YouTube. Go to YouTube, and then you type in, let's say you type in something like, let's say restaurant in London. Let's say you click this video. Let's say you're a local restaurant website and you want to rank your website higher. So assuming that you have your own restaurant YouTube channel. So what you can do here is you can create a sharp simple video like this, like about your restaurant. And you can upload it to YouTube channel description field. Make sure you're asked a little bit of content that is relevant to your keyword you want to wear them for. Let's say you wanted to run for restaurant in London. Then you can add a bit of description about restaurant in restaurant and some of the Optimize SEO content. And there you can also add a link back to your website. Let's say you want to index your homepage. You can use this method. This way when Googlebot comes, it will find your link and you will see that it is placed in a very relevant content and therefore it has value on it. He's gonna follow the link. And it's going to index your page almost within a day or two. If your page is good enough, if your content is good enough. These are the first message you can try. Second method here is to use the rank mass Indexing API. So if you're a wordpress users, you can go to the plug-ins. Here I logged into water, my client's website. Here you can go to the plugin section and click on add new here. Then you can go and store it for indexing API. Here you will find a plug-in call us instant indexing for Google by Rank Math. As you can see here, I've already installed and activated the plugins. So I've already connected the website with the Google Search Console API. So I'm going to show you how it looks like. Once you've activated the plugins will be situated right here. Cola's Rank Math. And you're gonna click on instant indexing option here. Here I've already set up like I mentioned. So first, if this is if you're setting up for the first time, you have to go to the menu called Google API settings and click on read our setup guide here, which will open you this documentation. So this is a documentation of how to connect your domain name or your website to a Google Search Console APR. As you can see here, first step is to go to Google Cloud Platform so you can click the link and directly go here. First, we have to also create a new project, assuming that this is the first time you are using this Google Search Console API. Like I mentioned, I've already created my projects and my product is already created here. Your screen that you're going to see on your side is going to be different. I'm going to click on Create New Project. Going to prompt me to enter a project name here. You can see here for the location, you can leave it as an organization. That's fine. And you're going to create, once you create. Next up is you have to enable access to APIs. So if you're creating it for the first time, you will have to do it. There'll be a screen right here. If I go to click Next and then if I click on Enable here, as you're gonna see, is going to enable my Indexing API right here. Once you've enabled your Indexing API, next, you have to create a service account minus tow enabling. Let's just assume that it is enabled. I'm just going to click on create a service account here. Once you're in your service accounts, next step is to click on the index, instead indexing and then click on Create service account. I'm going to choose my project first. Since I have two projects, like I said, I already decided for you it could be your only on projects. And then next you have to click on create new service account. You're going to enter any name that you want. It could be your brand name, your website name, whatever. So let's say I'm going to click on ABC brand, and then click on Create and continue. Here we can click, just click on Continue and then click on Done here. Once you're done, next step is to actually create a new JSON key for your service account. What you can do here is you're going to click on this and then click on Manage, managed key. And then click on Add key, click on create new key here, choose the type to be JSON here, and click Create. Once you've created your key, it will prompt a download for you. As you're gonna see, this is my JSON key, it is being downloaded. So I'm just going to save it where I kind of have a quick access because we're gonna need this later. So make sure you save this somewhere that you can easily access. I'm just going to save it right here. Okay? Next step is to go to Google Search Console and add a new users, right? So next up is to fire up your Google Search Console that is connected with your domain. And go to Settings, options. Click on users and permissions, and click on Add User here. Now for the email address, you would use the email that you created in your service account. You can click on Details option here. Here you will find email here, right? So we just go and copy this entire email. Go and place it right here. Permission, choose to owner and click on Add. Once. As you can see, I've added my users. Next step, once your users is added, you can now configure the plugin. Go back to your Google indexing plugins, and click on Choose File here. Then here you can choose the JSON file that you just download it. So here's my JSON file. Like I said, are just setting this up, so I'm just going to cancel it. And once you've uploaded, just click on save changes. After that. This plugin will sink or will be in connect with the Google Search API. Next time whenever you want to request an index, basically you want to, you want to index any new pages very fast. You can either go to the console option here and paste that URL here, and then click on Center API makes sure your action is published or update URL. Or just simply click on publish that content or update that new content. That will automatically be sent to the Indexing API. So you don't have to do it manually. It will be done automatically in the background. That's on how to set this up. And maybe you have any questions. Feel free to reach out to me. And I'll see you in the next lecture. 38.
