Hi there, my name is Khushal. This is a walkthrough on Living Room Interior Design SketchUp.

This course is for people looking too make 3D SketchUp models. The people who are familiar with sketchup.

1. Inroduction to class: Hi guys, I'm Ghoshal, and in today's scores I'll be teaching you how to make something like this. And we're going to be guiding you through how I make my SketchUp models. So will be making a living room model in SketchUp. And if you are interested in making this mortal and haven't you sketch up till today? Then I would highly recommend you go and check my previous course on where I teach you guys. How do you sketch up if you're a beginner? And if you're also interested in rendering this model, I'll be teaching WHO I rendered models in Damiano in the coming week. And also I'll be making our class where I will teach you how to do the same render in 3D as well. So if you are interested in this, then you can consider following my profile. And I'll be sending out a male when I applaud these glasses so they can stay updated. So without any further ado, let's carry on door glass. 2. Part 1 Introduction to project: Before we begin with the class, I'm going to say that this is not going to be as my a standard classes where I have chapter one, chapter two, chapter three subdivisions. This is going to be accompanied walk through on how I build my models from the start to the very end. So the class is going to be a bit lending. Your values will just have to watch through it. I'm sorry that I cannot put Chapter one separate Oh, and stuff. I'm going to try my best to divide them on specific places where it can be divided. Okay, now that we have all SketchUp software open, I'm going to be showing you what we are going to be building in today's class. So I have a few images which I got instagram. It was saying to me, we are going to be creating a living room. So these are the few images that I have. So it is going to be something small like this, not too fancy. Just a dissenter ceiling. Someone so fast. And I step up here some planter boxes, a coffee table and mad and basic flooring and stuff. So we have one side. We are not going to be doing all the details where I show all the steps, signed deeds extract over there and stuff. We're going to add stuff like this mirror this by agenda loyal and stuff like that that he says in the wall. So this is going to be the entertainment center part. It is just plain background and as a smart TV, Sheffield below and the TV itself, few windows in court and then stop. So this is the backside about where we are going to be infinity finishing this wall or the where did the end like this. And I'm going to close this part and we're not going to be showing the dining room. We might continue the fireplace. So it's something like this. 3. Part 2 Living room Walls, Windows and Doors Blocking: Starting off by making the voices of the space. So I'm going to put my image to the side here. Ok. So my, my template is in meters. I generally use me, it does as my preference. And the very first thing I'm going to do is use the Rectangle tool and just build up a base like this. So we kind of have a rectangular living room. I don't know how big this is. So I guess I just quite big. Let's do something like 15 meters. 20 meters. This is 15, this is 20. Ok. Now we have our base. I guess. We can reduce this part, will go and do reduce this by 30 meters. And this, so we have two l by 20. This should be pretty good. Wonder select the base and wonder right click and make it into a group pen and reverse phase I visit so that we have the white part on top. Now this is going to be acting like our base. I'm going to start building my walls around it. Or I could also copy this fight. Okay. I made a copy off my a layer that base double-click to open it. And I'm going to use the offset tool and give all save-dev 0.1 to 0. That is odd, odd. And we're going to select this N-bit Barton delete this. And I'm going to use a tool to drag them all up. And I'm going to give it four meters height. Ibec. And that's also give high door based neighbors. That doesn't really matter how high this is. So we are going to add, I think we should start by adding our platform here below. 4. Part 3 Living room Walls, Windows and Doors Blocking: Let me check the images. So the platform goes like this, in front of the window from the wall and goes all the way straight. And then it turns around here like this and there are two stairs. Steps. And I see you didn't get any of the fireplace. So all we had one to build a platform like this. Make this into our group and reverse phase and give it some height. I guess 30 shall do. And 0.30 or required ties pen more centimeters. So this is about 40 centimeters now. I guess we're over 60 and older. And so is it a Pinto's 0 mod this is 60 centimeters. Now, we have to extend our platform towards this side this way. And go with that by inspecting this, copy, this n and about this much dilemma and those aren't maybe Yep. And act. And I'll also add this tier is here. So two Adler stares. What I'm gonna do is going to be adding a rectangle here. First, I'm going to take the midpoint and give it something like 30 centimeters. And this going to be adding 75 here. This is just so dimensions as this. A bigger 60 centimeters. So let's go to off that is tidy and they shouldn't refinance. And this had lunch step and the second step, Dafu steps. So It's not necessarily that had been made of the exact same thing. Again, also improvise, but you want to bake those steps. Part 4 Living room Plattform and Fireplace Blocking: Now, I think I should write that over here. Like this. Reverse phase. Make this into a group. And I'm going to cut that. So I'm pressing Control X. We're going to open this group again and kind, and I'm going to paste this in the group again. So to go over that once again, what I did is I first married a layer for where I want my handle to be on my dollar. Then I selected that. I did control C, that is copy. I went out of my group and I pasted it, and then I press control v again. Then I cut that group, which I pasted outside. I'd first 102 a group and then cut that go and paste at that group back inside this group. The reason I did that is if I have that group outside of the door and then if I double-click on it, like how I'm entering only this only the part where the door is the handle is going to be as one group and the door is going to be as one group. But I want to edit the handle under door in the same group. So I'm going to add my dipolar groups. In one group. I, it might sound a bit complex, but I can show you a demonstration of what I'm saying. So for example, like this, we have our offset. And we're going to close this to create the hand and take this. So now this is our door and door handle like this. Now, if I don't have this year, i and this paste in place, ok. So now the handle is one group and the door is one go. And if I want to edit the hand and now I'm in the group where the door is located, so I can't add it to the handout. No, I don't see it. I'd have to go outside again. And then after shift to this. But I don't want to do that. I want to add to the door and the door handle in one group since this is one component. So what I'm going to do is we're going to select this control X to cut. And I'm going to paste, I opened the door subgroup and we want to paste it here like this. So now when I exit and click on that, it opens up this group like this. So now I can move this handle anywhere I want on their door. And if I want to add any material, I can add that here directly itself. I don't have to go to another group. So that is a main reason why we add in groups within groups. So I hope you understood now. So now I'm just going to select their door and copy and I'm going to paste it here. And you see that I don't have to select the handle as one layer and the door has one layer. Also. This is not a very efficient way to do it. What I'm going to do is make this door into a component and right lower one maybe create. So now whenever I add materials to in this, in the future, I don't have to add the same material TO all the multiple doors I have. If I add it to this one single door, it is going to add the same thing to all the other doors in the same component. So that is the best way to go buy it. Ok, so we are both our doors done, both our Windows Store is done as when we can. We can start with a fireplace here. So now I want to see my model. So I hit control I0 and I'm going to start by cutting. I'll groove into this. So basically they have, as you see in this picture, they have one layer where there is tone or this summit. And then they have this wide plastered wall and they have a glass enclosure fireplace. So what we are going to do is like this. So this is marble, which they have. We are going to create this platform below first. So for that, I'm going to select the whole base minus M and press control to copy and shift to drag it to this layer. And I don't know where our platform, and so I randomly I added it to some height and then moreover down back here again. So now we have our Slashdot all separate like this. Okay. So we are going to leave some part here and add a rectangle like this. Goes this off. Give it some more hide, maybe like this. Now we are going to reverse this face. Ok? So we have this done. Now. I'm going to go and add the tone below the fireplace. So that is something like this. Make this into a group, give it some height. 1970 my does is good. So I like this. One could argue, Is this a bit so that it looks like this. Okay. So now we have some things here me letter. We have this glass shard of auditory upper stone. More dumb. Select these both by holding Control and net Control C and exit out of the group. Then we are going to paste this in to this and this. So then make these into one group and the group and give it some height like this. So now we have our panels. Simple as actor. Then. 6. Part 5 Living room TV Cladding and Dining Area Blocking: Let's see what else we have to buried down without platform than with the fireplace. We can add some keyboards in the background, like the ones I have here. And just add that in the back. So for that I'm just going to click on R two, I add a rectangle like this, make this into a group. Reverses phase. Okay? I guess. And I'm going to reduce 60 centimeters so that I can add up all seeding data. And we're going to do the same thing with this, this, with this. There's secondly, we'd like this actually. Ok. Now we have added this. And you see, we have one more segment where they have a bunch of all and then there is a bulge and then there is this series S here. So read, create this projection for now. Just selecting and adding the line and the blue axis, like this. And in this, this is some depth here. And they also have a platform in between where the sink and stuff is located. So there's going to be adding that here randomly. So I've added this line, I copy that and paste it here. And now to copy that again, I'm going to click on it, the con control. So you see the plus icon beside the Move icon cursor. That is when you have some things had to copy and something which is just freely moving around. So right now I have something which is copying the selection. And if I press control again, I'm moving that line itself. So I'm just going to hit Control and give it some random height like 35 neighbors. So then we had around two Arab platform, I guess. Lecture look. Then we can add our Fahrenheit on this and this and this into our group and give it some height, some projection. Also, there is a sand granite on the back as to unwind, to select that lined lip control. And on the green axis I'm going to paste this and give it this height. So now we have granite in the front and the back. Okay. So now that's done. Everyone to add that groves in this cobalt. So for that just opened this, select the edge line, go to the midpoint paged. Paste another lane, decided like this and create a group like that. And then the same thing with the top, the select these two. It control to copy these lines and the blue axis more down.
