1. Trailer: Hey guys, it's marinas. In this class. I'm going to introduce him to you as an add on botanical enrolling will learn in detail how to draw tropical leaks. You don't have to know how to grow to get him to line drawing. It's actually really simple. And if you think that you can't draw at all, you'll be pleasantly surprised because your results and guaranteed. Once I show you how to analyze leaves, how to make symbol from campus, it makes it a lot easier. I prepared for you template that helps to lower leaf shape and margins will take some real tropical grasp leaves and draws them. Here, you'll find techniques that you can apply it to any botanical illustration. 2. Materials: For this class you need paper or sketchbook. All ink pens set you have. Mine are from micron and from central PAN. They are waterproof. Also pencil and eraser. We'll learn how to draw these press tropical leaves. You can find for two of them in resources. Also in resources, finds this template and print it we needed for our next lesson. 3. Leaf Shapes: Let's fill in our template. Once again, you can find it in resources. Here you see examples. You just need to practice your hand. You can use any liners that you want is 0.2. So try to draw them. Many times. 4. Tips and Margins: Go to leave as much as you need. 5. Round Leaf: Let's move to our tropical leaves. Our first example is this round pressed leave. My main task here is to teach you how to analyze each object that you want to draw. Let's divide this leaf into parts, shape, TPP and margins. This leaf has around the shape. Also, it has combined all these parts together. You can take your leave 0. Let's try some leaves, some white space between lines. More contrast. Add some more lines. More to do. First example is reading. 6. Fern: The next one is firm and you know what to do. It has long stem, small branching. Because the size of leaves decreases to the top. Try to depict them. Combine altogether. As you can. I'm using my outline. I really like how I'm using zeros. And in contrast to the lines, dots, close to margins and close to center line, almost done. And that's it. Hope you liked the result. 7. Long Stem: This is really easy to draw schematically. Sketch book. This hasn't band. Oh, I'm using 0.3 microns long lines from the bottom. Try to draw lines as close to each other. And you can switch to two lines. 8. Alternate Leaf Arrangement: Let's move to this example with alternate leaf arrangement. In an alternate leaf arrangement, there is one leaf per plant node and say alternate sides. It has mainstem and two sides stems. And one side of the leaf has margins with T's leaves and give a little more distance between leaves. It comes from. 9. Tiny Leaves: Let's try to draw this branch was teeny leaves, stems and branching on them. 0.2. Leaves are closer to each other. Completely. Add some texture to 0.5. It looks pretty similar. 10. Maidenhair Fern: Last one, written tropical climate, resembled the shape. And fill. Each leaf. Looks like it was hard to draw, but it is not. 11. Project: Thank you guys so much. I hope you learned a lot and waiting for your tropical leaves in project section. Make sure you upload them. I love to see your progress. Don't be shy. It's not a competition here. And I always give a feedback for me. Thank you again and I will see you next time.
