3. Warm Up Exercise : Let's begin with a little warm
up exercise that will get you focused and in
tune with yourself. And what you would
like to accomplish in this course for your business. Begin by writing the prompts and your note book or journal, and then write
down your answers. Your prompts are what
I feel right now. What I wish to accomplish
in this course is my goals for the
coming week are. So go ahead and pause the video to write
down your answers. Once you have
finished writing down your answers, resume the video. Now, have warmed up to the
idea of accomplishing a goal. Let's find out what
your inner critic Cassie is saying about
your intentions. The inner critic, or
critical inner voice, as a concept used to refer to a sub personality that
judges and demeans a person. According to Psychology Today, the critical inner
voice is formed out of painful early life
experiences in which we witnessed or experienced hurtful attitudes toward
us or those close to us. Inner critic can be harsh and prevent us from
accomplishing certain goals, especially in business
relationships and overall life situations. Starting up a business
can be very intimidating. And you'll notice that when your inner critic likes to
come forward a lot more. In this next exercise, we're going to meet the
inner critic face to face. Once we hear that inner
critic has to say, we will then reframe it to where the inner critic becomes a
friend instead of a foe.
4. Inner Critic Exercise : Inner critic exercise on
a blank piece of paper began to imagine and draw what your inner
critic looks like. You don't need artistic skills. This is for your eyes only. Or if you'd like to
share it, you can. It's up to you what
you would like to do with your drawing. And your drawing can be
represented in many ways. There is no wrong way. This will be a timed exercise to allow the subconscious
to project your inner critic onto
your blank sheet of paper without your
conscious interfering and creating resistance. Grab your blank piece
of paper and pens, colored pencils or crayons. I will provide music to
help you relax and focus. The music will be
timed for five-minutes so you don't have to pay
attention to the clock. I will return to let you
know when time is up. Side note, it can be helpful
to name your inner critic. This way you can
actually address it as you would when you
were speaking to someone. You can also give it a silly voice like Mickey
Mouse for example, to make it less intimidating. Alright, let's get started. Time is up. Great job. All right. Now that you're
drawing this complete, take a moment to look at your inner critic and enter
the following prompts. What is your inner critic
saying to you when you think about achieving a
successful business? How does that make you feel? Take a moment and write
down your answers. Become aware of what your
inner critic is saying. Recognize that just
because you think something doesn't
mean it's true, our thoughts are often exaggerated, biased,
and disproportionate. Now that you have given your inner critic and
opportunity to speak, It's concerns,
doubts, and worries. You will now take a moment to be a supportive friend and reassure the inner critic that together you can accomplish your goals. Let's put it this way. If a good friend or a
family member came to you and said exactly what your
inner critic is saying to you. What would you tell
them to let them know that they have what it takes to accomplish their goals. Write down your answer and
your notebook or a journal. If a friend express
feelings of self-doubt, hopefully, you want to say, you can't ever do
anything right? Or you're so stupid. No one likes you yet. We're often quick to say
those things to ourselves. Instead, you'd be
more likely to offer a fern compassionate words of encouragement like
you made a mistake, but it's not the
end of the world. Or it's unlikely that today's performance will
actually get you fired. Treat yourself equally
as kind as you treat a friend and apply those words of encouragement to your life.
5. Goal and Intention Setting Warm Up Exercise: Goal and intention setting. Now that you know
your inner critic is just a good friend
that needs words of encouragement
from time-to-time. It's time to get your goals
and intentions and gear. Don't be surprised if
your worrisome friend, inner critic comes along. As you are writing
down your answers. Just approach the worries with compassion and reassurance. Then say, Thank you for
sharing your concerns. I appreciate your
good intentions and I'll take those concerns
into consideration. But for now, let's move on to
accomplishing these goals. It's important not to
ruminate and these thoughts, just as you would redirect
a friend in need, you wouldn't want them
sitting there for hours or days and their
negative thoughts. Additionally, this will
be a timed exercise, so there won't be much time for your inner critic to convince
you of its concerns. You will have ten minutes
to write down your answers. One time is up, you can always go back
and make changes. Don't worry about errors, and don't worry if something doesn't make sense at this time. Just write down the first
things that come to mind. Let's get warmed up. Before we start the initial
goal and intention setting. Let's start with a
little warm up exercise. Grab your note book or journal, and write down the prompts, and then pause the video to
write down your answers. Your warm up, goal and intention
setting prompts aren't. Write down one
Nietzche, just one. Decide on one price. One service, one social
media platform. One focus. This is going to
help you filter out the guesswork and get more specific on what you
need to act on it. Go ahead and pause the
video so you can write down your answers in your
notebook or journal.
6. Intention Setting Exercise : Set your intention exercise. Before we begin, grab your note book or journal
to write down your answers. Set your intention for achieving your goals.
As an entrepreneur. When you set your intention, you are making a decision to
take action and make a plan. The more passion and emotional energy you can
put into your intention, the greater your ability
to manifest what you desire when writing out your
goals be very specific. The more specific, the better. In this next part, just write down the questions. Then we will go
back and write down the answers with the timer
set for ten minutes. Visualize and imagine what it will look like when
you achieve your goals. As an entrepreneur. How will your life
be even better? Attach a failing to your goals? What will it feel like when you achieve your goals
as an entrepreneur? What obstacles or challenges, if any, are preventing you from achieving your goals
as an entrepreneur. How can you overcome them? Why do you wish to attain your
goals as an entrepreneur? The more powerful the why, the easier the ham. What action steps do you need to take an achieving your
goals as an entrepreneur? When do you wish to achieve your goals as an entrepreneur? Each goal is to have
a completion date. When writing out your intentions during the timed exercise, Be sure to choose power words
such as I am or I will. The words I want imply lack of. Not only does this
help you to create a clearer picture of
where you want to go? This is the start
of reconditioning your mind and creating new neural pathways
that will take you into autopilot as a result, take you into where
you want to be. As you are writing down your
intentions for your goals. Also, keep in mind to think smart when
achieving your goals. Specific goals,
specific, measurable. Are you able to
track the progress of your goals attainable? Are your goals
realistic, time-bound? Do you have a specific date
you want to accomplish this? You can now pick up
your pen and note book or journal to answer the
questions you wrote down. I will be playing
music for ten minutes this way you don't need
to focus on the time. Again. Just let the
information flow naturally and don't force it. You can always go back
and fine tune it. Once it's complete. I will return when
the time is up. Hello, time is up. You did amazing. Proceed by finding a
comfortable and quiet area where you won't be disturbed
for the next exercise.
7. Six Phase Meditation : Sex phase meditation. You have just set your intention for
achieving your goals. You have a plan of action and you know how to call
him the inner critic. You were able to
see Phil and get a good sense of what it would be like when you
accomplish your goal. However, let's take
this a bit further and actually get a
good sense of what that life is going
to be like for you. Sit back and get nice and comfortable with your
feet flat on the floor. As I take you on a little meditation journey to preview your life's
coming attractions. With the sixth phase meditation. Begin by closing your eyes and get yourself in a
comfortable position. Take a deep breath and
allow your body to relax. Just taking a slow and steady
breath in through the nose. Slow and steady, exhale
out of the mouth. As your body begins to relax. Give yourself
permission to quiet your mind and allow
yourself to be open to wonderous possibilities
while letting go of anything that is
no longer serving you. Taking another deep
breath in through the nose and a slow and steady
exhale out of the mouth. As we go in to the six phases. Phase one, compassion, compassion for
yourself and for others. Envelop yourself and compassion. And have it expand out to all people and all living
things in your city, state, your country,
and the planet. Phase two. Gratitude. Choose
one to three things. You are grateful for
in your personal life, your career as an entrepreneur. And about yourself. Breathe in her attitude. Phase three, forgiveness. Choose a person that
you wish to forgive. State the following. I forgive you. And I ask that you forgive me. Phase for future dreaming. Visualize and imagine
three years ahead. Your ideal adventure,
spiritual growth. As an entrepreneur. What does it look like? Sound like? Phil Knight.
Saturate the senses. Breathe it in. Phase five. Perfect day. Visualize. And imagine how you'd like
your perfect day to unfold. Know that I simply
setting your intention, you are creating
your perfect day. Phase. The blessing. Embrace the feeling that everything you desire
is being supported. And now slowly open your eyes, knowing that when
you see yourself living in abundance,
it will attract it. And that imagination
is everything. It is the preview of
coming attractions.
8. Fail to Plan, Plan to Fail: Fail to plan, plan to fail. Learning objectives for
fail to plan, plan to fail. Provide a benchmark
and milestone markers for measuring success. Formulate a plan, action. Get overview of
ways to communicate your specific purpose
for your business to customers or clients and others. Learn how to create a solid
foundation to build upon. Envision your purpose, organize your ideas
for your business. Business plan, benefits. It will help you steer your business as
you start and grow. Helps you realize this is
not as hard as you think. It will help you to reach
business milestones. It can help you get funding. There's no wrong way to
write a business plan. Time to grab your notebook
or journal and a pen. Pause the video and write down your answers to these
following questions. What is my business? What does it do? What sets my business
apart from my competition? What services or products
and my providing? What tools am I using? What is the reason for
my business's existence? What is my overall
business goal? Pause the video to write
down your answers. When you are finished. Resume the video. Next, let's talk about
where you want to go. Where you want to be, something you'd like to be
doing maybe one year from now. Each should include
key benchmarks of achievement in your business. Stated as if you're writing an overview on the
last day of that year, recapping the important
accomplishments you have achieved
during that year. Elements to consider would be business goals reached,
financial, etc. Completion of areas for growth
and expansion in business. For example, office space, continuing education
and or certifications. Shift from old job to
new career, ex cetera. Achievements in specific
areas of business. Seminars, client load,
aftermarket products, et cetera, should describe
your business in detail. Stated as if you're
writing an overview of the state of your business on
the last day of that year. Take some time to visualize and imagine what your
business is like. Be sure to include
all the details, paint colors, decorations,
people involved, etc. The more you do, the better you'll be able
to see what you want. Set some goals you'd
like to see yourself having achieved by
one year from now. Describe your
business in detail. Really get specific. How much detail can you
possibly put into this? The more, the better. What you see, smell, taste, hear, and fill in
each area of your business. Business goals reached. Where, how you see
yourself in your picture, customers or client
load types of clients, new products or achievements in areas of specialization
and focus. Then apply those same
concepts when you see yourself about
three years from now. Put these goals summary, you can see them every day
such as your vision board or write them down on a card and
carry them in your pocket. Take that card out of
your pocket and read it. Often.
9. Managing Time : Managing time successes, something achieved by
the minority of people. Therefore, it is
unusual and not to be achieved by following the
usual likes and dislikes. Success is going against our natural preferences
and prejudices. In other words, it cannot be achieved by doing what
comes naturally to us. The vital ingredient
for success as forming the habit of doing things that the ones not reaching their
goals don't like to do. How are successful
people able to form the habit of
doing these things regularly while the ones struggling to succeed
seldomly do them at all. Much less form a
habit of doing them. The answer is quite simple. Successful people are influenced by the desire for
pleasing results. The ones struggling
to succeed are influenced by the desire
for pleasing activities. There are inclined to be
satisfied with such results that can be obtained by doing
things they like to do. In the beginning
of their career, the successful entrepreneur
forms the habit of planning and putting their plans and actions far in advance. They will stick to that
plan as much as possible, obtaining the greatest good
out of every available. Our. This may sound a
bit complicated. As humans, we faced distractions
that can slow us down. It is natural to yield
to these distractions. For instance, getting wrapped up and unproductive activities. But remember, success
is unusual and not to be achieved by our
usual likes and dislikes. These acts can be grouped
under two categories. Goal achieving or
tension relieving. The goal of achieving
axes normally productive. For example, setting goals, following up with
clients or customers, creating something
that will take your business to the next level. Tension releasing
acts are going on social media for endless
hours posting memes, having long drawn-out,
unnecessary conversations with people that are not
connected to your profession. Productive goal achieving acts
lead to pleasing results. While unproductive tension,
release and acts are merely pleasing activities that do nothing to move us forward. A course people need to relieve their tensions to
by taking breaks. However, one of the
secrets to success is learning how to keep
unproductive time to a minimum. We all either no people or
heard of people that claim a few hours a day is
all they really need to put into their jobs in
order to get along. There. Obviously mistaken. As a result, their mistakes
cost them success. There never has been. I don't believe there will
be a time where a person can achieve something outstanding by only working a few hours a day. Success just doesn't
come easily. It requires hard work, dedication, perseverance,
focus, time. All of us have a
tendency to waste time. Maybe it's because we
don't realize it is one of the precious things will
ever own. Every day. And every year, everyone starts out with exactly the
same amount of time, which is 24 hours. The way people make use of their time shows up in the
results they achieved. Think of yourself as a farmer, and you have an endless field
of possibilities of growth. As a farmer, you must prepare your filled
with proper soil. Now, you can choose what seeds
you would like to plant. Once your seeds are planted, you must nourish
your seeds daily, usually even twice a day. As your seedlings
start to sprout, you have to make sure that these sprouts do not
get destroyed by pest. As a farmer, you
are consistent with nourishing and
protecting your plants. You are aware if you go
a day without watering, nourishing, and
protecting your crop, that it can lead
to slower growth. Being full of pest, or even worse, the crop
dries up and diminishes. So as you continue daily
to care for your crop, you see it blossoming,
was bountiful fruits. With time, you'll be ready
to reap the harvest. Your mind is that filled. The soil, is an idea. The seeds are your
plans and goals. You nourish your
plans and goals by practicing a productive
and positive mindset. Doing you're
thinking, believe it, receive it exercises twice a
day for at least 30 minutes. And putting those
exercises to action. Protecting your plants from those pests or your
negative thoughts. Self-doubt, worries, and
people that influence you negatively as a result
of staying consistent, nourishing your ideas
and goals every day, you will gain the
result you are wanting. It is all up to you to put these ideas and actions to use. I have nothing but faith in your capabilities of
achieving your goals. Now, as time that you
have faith in your idea, will leave it as possible and
know that you will receive.
10. Creating a Vision Board: Vision board. You have the vision. Now, let's make it a physical representation
of your life. Attractions that are on its way. No matter what you put
on your vision board, you must have the
intention to achieve it. Having a vision board creates
better intentions as you use your vision board to
start every day with a focus. Benefits of a vision board. Creates better intentions,
makes your dreams cleared. Use creativity
provides motivation, enhances productivity,
provides focus. Boost, chances of success
makes you happier. Boost determination
pushes your desire. Purpose of a vision board. Vision boards act as
accomplice or guiding star to keep you moving in
the direction of your dreams. No matter how many
unexpected distractions you have to deal with in
your day-to-day life. When you create a dream board and display it where you
can see it every day. It helps remind you of
the bigger picture, what your ultimate
purpose in life is. Your board will
allow you to take action and bring you
closer to your dreams, rather than pushing
you further away. What to put on a vision board. As you start your
vision board journey, I encourage you to
look for pictures that represent or symbolize
the experiences, feelings, and possessions you want to attract in your life. You can use pictures
from magazines, photographs from your
own personal collection, images from the internet,
whatever inspires you. Be creative. You can
include not only photos, but power words,
inspiring quotes, illustrations, personal
affirmations, purpose statements, or anything else
that speaks to you. You may want to
include a picture of yourself on your
inspiration board. So you can literally see
yourself surrounded by all of the different things and experiences you'd like to
attract into your life. If you do, be sure to choose a photo in which you are
smiling and looking happy. As you gather your images and other vision
board ingredients, be sure to consider all
areas of your life. Not just your income
and professional goals, but also your relationships, your health and fitness,
your free time, your spiritual time, and how you want to live in
community with others. You can choose to make
a vision board that encompasses all of these areas. Or you might want to create separate boards for each
period of your life. As you create your vision board, keep it neat and attractive. Be selective about what you
place on your vision board. And remember that
less is often more. Use only the words and images that best represent
your purpose, your ideal future, and words that inspire positive
emotions in you. There is beauty in
simplicity and clarity. Too many images and too much information will be distracting and
harder to focus on. Vision board ideas to consider. Exactly what you add to your
goal setting vision board depends on what you want trying
to manifest in your life. For example, revolve this
around the business. You want to create. Financial goals. If you are hoping to attract
more money into your life, you may want to
include images of actual cash or the items you would like to buy
with that money, such as your own home, a car, and a bike, etc. Relationship goals. If you are looking
for romantic love, you may want to
include images of happy couples doing
romantic things, such as enjoying a fancy dinner, going for walks in nature,
traveling, cooking together, snuggling up on the couch, whichever activities
you must dream up, enjoying with a
significant other. Happiness goals. If you are looking to
experience more joy in life at images that evoke
that sense of joy in you. These could be
images of nature or happy people laughing
or cute animals. Whatever causes you
to feel the emotion. You want to experience. Spiritual goals. If you're hoping to find greater spiritual
understanding and contentment, include images that evoke height of spiritual
enlightenment you seek. These could be images specific
to your faith, tradition, or they could be serine
images from nature that awaken the sense of harmony.
You're looking for. Travel bulls. If you want to experience
more travel and adventure, include images of
the exact places you would like to travel to, and the types of experiences you would like to
have when you go. By featuring images and other elements that
express the places, things, and experiences you want to manifest in your life. You will unlock the power of law of attraction and
find it easier to attract the resources and opportunities required to
make your dreams come true. Just be sure to check
in with yourself first and confirm that your vision board ideas are in full alignment with
your goals in life. Otherwise, you can find
yourself manifesting a situation that aren't in harmony with your
vision and purpose. By incorporating
just the start of these few exercises
and techniques, you have begun to activate your reticular
activating system. This is located at the
base of your brain, in the brain stem,
through sensory input. What you see and hear, it fires up the cerebral cortex and filters out what
you deem important. This is accomplished
by what you focus on. The reticular activating system, also known as AS,
will put people, places, situations,
and events in front of you in order to support you
and achieving your goals. So as you can see, your desk to attain
what you focus on. In other words, let's
get to thinking it. Be leaving it and receiving it.
11. Thank You!: Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your journey. Take the timeout as well, and thank yourself for taking
