About This Class

In this class, you will learn how to read the Arabic language and you will learn how to speak the language like how Arabs do now. Do not worry if you have no knowledge of the language at all! This class is for you. It is for beginners, for anyone who wants to travel and be able to speak Arabic, the informal way. Nowadays, no one is speaking the language in a formal way. The formal language is only seen in the written method, in books, newspapers, internet, etc. However, in social media, informal language is seen sometimes, so it is important to not only be able to speak the informal way, but also to be able to read it as well.

Keep in mind that you need to practice it. Memorize the letters, and the rules of grammar, etc. Ones you are able to do that, you will lack one thing only - which is words in your dictionary. This course will help you with the essentials, but not in aiding you on memorizing vocabulary, as this can come later, and with a few words, you can create many structures, that will help you to keep remembering the rules of the language. Know the form first, then learn as many words you can to place them in this form.

1. Introduction: Merhaba. Hi everyone. I'm yes mean. And in this course, I will teach you how to speak Arabic. The informal way. It is hard to find someone near you or find an online course that I teach in formal or spoken Arabic. As they all will be teaching you the written language or the formal language and not the informal one the Arabs actually use nowadays. So in this lesson, you will learn to speak Arabic, the way Arabs in the Holy Land speak, as there are different accents of Arabic, will focus on the easiest accent, on the easiest spoken language. Hence, focusing on the Arabs living in this area. So what you will learn here, first, you will learn later Sounds, of course, to be able to read, so you could move on to the next lessons. The second lesson, you will learn how to say hello, see you and goodbye. Then from lesson to lesson six, we will jump to the subject, verb and object. After this, you will be able then to form perfect sentences. And then here on less than seven, you will be able to ask questions, starting with, what? Are you ready? Are you excited for this course? I bet you can't wait. I will see you in the first proper video. 2. Letter Sounds: Merhaba, Hi, Hello. In this lesson, you will learn Arabic alphabets. So as you see here, there are 28 or a big alphabets. I will read them for you. And in turn, you repeat after me. Okay, so here we start from the right. F as, as, as esh us of a, of f of x, M and E. As you see here, the red circles or Azure. And the yellow ones above, beside the red circles are the blue ones, the light blue ones, head of the dark blue. As remember that I read from the right and then to the left. And the yellow ones beside the blue S, ash. The lighter ones, us of ICT brown ones. Of the green ones are the purple ones. Like the English alphabet, a, B, C. When a child reads award, he or she should learn first how each alphabet sounds. So they say, are the COO instead of C instead of a, b, c. And this is the same with Arabic. Know that before I said not. And if they're to, which is similar to ABC, I will read again how each letter sounds. So remember, we start from the right, the one that looks like one, the gray one. Okay. So yeah, let's get started. As esh us of a of F, M, and E. Okay, so now you could repeat this lesson again. Memorize them, memorize these alphabets. And yeah, see you later. Bye. 3. Greetings: Hi merhaba. Are you now ready to try and read some words? Yes. Great. So before we start, I will show you some things about these alphabets that may change when we add them between or in the first or in the beginning or in the last of a word. Okay, So let's see. This is like this, this one. So at the beginning of a word, it will look like this one. And let's see this. You'd see the first one here that I've written last. This is written at the beginning of a word. And the middle one. The middle one that looks like a triangle, but not a closed one. This one is written in the middle of a word. And the last one is of course, written in the last of a word. Okay, now, let's start the next one. We will start now with this small conversation with these two people. Now keep in mind that in Arabic we start reading from the right. Okay, so let's read, Let's read what this girl is saying. M mater, mater, murderer, murderer hub bar, merhaba. She's saying merhaba, which means hello. And now he is responding with merhaba to the gill. Now let's read this. E key, F key. Now we've finished now, the first word, Let's continue to the next one, to the next word. Hair has had. So this one, these two words combined, we'd say keef Halloch here. At the last one in Halloch, egg. Here, it looks confusing a bit, but let me show you the two last letters. The first one is n and the second one, which is the last in the world, is at. Which means luck. Luck combined with say, luck. So hair lack. The boy response. Oh, of course, Kyiv Halloch means how are you? How means Kyiv? Kyiv is how? And ******* here means are you feeling okay? How are you feeling? This basically, it means how are you feeling? And the boy response. Let's read this. N, and now we finished the first word on. The second one. M, N E, money, money, Nee, Nee, Nee, Nee. Which means I'm good. Ana means I am or IM me, means good or fine. Now. Okay. He's saying Keith Halloch, the same as what she said before. How are you or how are you feeling? What is she responding? Let's read this. Okay. The first one we know it and i m and n, n e ne, which is the same as what the boy said before, right knee. But do you see here the difference? The difference is seen in the last lecture, which is, as I've said in the first lesson, is written like this when it's written in the last word. Okay? So as you saw from the first lesson, we've said that the difference here is that because she is a girl, we add at the end of this letter. So it has become knee her knee her. And the boys says Without the last letter. Okay. Now let's continue to the conversation. Okay. Let's read this. This is pretty long, right? Oh, OK. Oh, this means not OK. Ok. Ok. Let's continue. Ash bash. Bash shoo, shoo. Shoo. Shoo FAQ means see you without the egg. So it becomes brush-off, for sure. Is see, but without the egg, without the last letter, it means the shoe. But when it's written with egg, with the last lecture, it becomes, you see you. Okay, let's continue. Book, book and book. Book Raw, which means tomorrow. So she's saying okay, for sure, **** book club. Okay. I'll see you or see you. She didn't say i so she didn't say Anna. She said See you tomorrow. Let's continue the E by so you'd figure out when you eat this, that this is not a bad way. It is similar. You'll know that it's by, not by, by like okay. We said, OK. Ok. This is not a word which is okay. Okay. Let's continue. And he said here by, okay, I hope this lesson was fruitful. See you on the next one. Bye. 4. S,V,O (I): Merhaba, hello again. In this lesson, you will learn how to form sentences. Now in every sentence and then in every language like English, as a subject, a verb, and an object. We've learned from the previous lesson that the word I, when the girl and the boy said, I'm good, I'm good, I feel good. Do you remember what I means in Arabic? Yes, it is Anna. Anna, very good. Anna, Anna here, or I is the subject. Now, I will give you a verb. Let's read this too. Let's read this together. Remember that we begin on the right, okay? Bare back, end. The call. Back call. Here, it means eating. So I am eating or eating. So for an object, let's try and read this word. Look at this one. This mark, this red mark, you see. Pay attention to it. This one means that instead of saying, we say la, la, the letter sound here is moving upwards. Okay? So it's not, it's la, la. So let's continue law. Ie lie, lie, M, lime, lime. And lay one. Can you guess what this means? Yes. Yes. It's lemon. Layman means lemon in English. Okay. So now let's read this all. Anna, back called Les moon. I am eating lemon. Ok. Now I'm giving you a quiz here. Here you need to organize this into a correct sentence. I'm very sorry for this yellow one here. Don't pay attention to it. Okay, Now here I want you to form this into a correct sentence. You need to put the word to its right place to subject or verb or object. I will give you time and you can pause this video if you want. Have you finished? Okay, Let's read words listed below. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye lab. We don't know what this means, but we will return to it later. Let's read this one in the middle. As you know previously, this means I or II. So this we know is in the subject. Let's move it. Now. The last one, let's read f at foot. Foot, football. Football, football. To know what this means. It sounds familiar, right? Foot ball, foot pole. So this one we know already goes to the object. Football goes to the object. And this one left here by lab is the verb, which obviously, obviously means playing football. And football. I am playing football. Okay. We've finished this. I hope you've enjoyed it. I hope it was fruitful for you and see you in the next lesson. 5. S,V,O (You): Hi, merhaba. Now in this lesson, you will learn how to form sentences, but instead of I, you will use the word you. Okay? Let's read what the subject is. N. And remember what I said before about this red mark here above the lateral. It lifts right, or it moves the sound upwards. Instead of add, we say. So this word is, okay, this means you in English. Now, let's read the word under the verb. At tak. Tak. Tak. To remember what this means. Yes, it is like back on like previously, we've learned i and I am eating and back home. Back home. The first letter is a back haul. This one is like backhaul. It's the same, meaning. The only difference is the b, c, not a, not a. So this means that we always use this, use the beginning of a verb, the letter for you, okay? For the subject, you, which is under tackle, you are eating. And the object, of course we know this, it means lemon Lee Moon, tag called Les moon. So now we said here the sentence, undertaken laymen, we've learned that. Is you. Okay? But I want to tell you that we haven't finished the story of you yet. Here is set for masculine and feminine word for you is this. Look at it. Did you see the red mark? Look at the mark. The mark is now under the letter at. Which means we have to move for sound downwards. So this natural becomes steam. Okay, so let's read this word. And, and, and this, with this red mark, t, it becomes t and d. Let's read The middle one. Do you see any difference here, any changes in the sport? So the first one is at, and we've said that U, there is the subject and verb. First letter in the verb is at, at. Okay? Now the verb from feminine is, it also changes like whew, the mark changed. Now the verb. Do you see what difference here from the previous one for masculine you? Yes, it's, the last letter, is E. The last letter E. So let's read this together. At TACC. Tak, tak Lee. So here we always say e at the end of a word when it's directed to a girl or a woman. Okay. So anti tag li, it's like an T TAC Lee. Okay? So the object here is the same lemon. It of course doesn't change. I hope you've learned a lot from this lesson, even if it's short. But yeah, I hope you liked this video and see you later. Bye. 6. S,V,O (He, She): Hi merhaba. In this lesson, you will learn the word he and the other subject, she. And you will learn how to form sentences with these subjects, he and she. Okay, Now, let's look under this object. Here. Let's read it. Remember that the first letter always looks like this one, as I've said from the first lesson. So this is a woo hoo. And you know, this mark, it becomes who were, who were. Great. Okay? And this of course means, he means he, lets read the verb. Back, back, back, back. So it's like a subject, I, Anna, Anna, they're called. And here it's who are the subject and verb combined? Hawaii back or he is eating. He is eating. Now, let's see the subject. She, of course, the object here, line one, you know it, but I'm here to teach you how to use the subject he and she, and how to form sentences with these two. Okay, now, let's see the subject. She Let's read it. He he he and with this red mark, of course, it becomes he. Yeah, he, yeah. Let's read the verb at IC Tech n. So the subject and verb combined here, tack on here. She is eating. And of course we know the other word. They mourn. Lemon here, tackled here. You see, it's not backhaul, It's not AB, it's at. And know that she and feminine. The verb always begins with the letter F. Okay, so here, terracotta and the subject, you feminine is yes, it's T and T tech li, tag li. I did not say with the letter app it's at so it always starts with a lateral at TAC, TAC. And here, here she, she is eating. He tackled. But remember that in you, feminine, in the verb, we use at the end, the letter e, tag li, but here, we don't change it. It stays the same. So keep this in mind. Sorry that it's short. But hope you enjoyed this lesson. See you later. Bye. 7. S,V,O (They): Hi everyone, merhaba. So here you will learn how to form sentences. Starting with a subject. They, you will learn how to use they in a sentence. Okay, so let's start with this subject here. Let's read this and look at this red mark here. Of course, this one be invisible. But you will know as soon as you read these two letters that there's an invisible red mark here when you start reading it. Okay. So N home. And with this red mark, it becomes homemade, homemade, homemade, not homemade, homemade. Homemade. So the subject here is homemade. Of course, homemade. Here is for girls and boys. It's for both. Okay, obviously homemade. Now let's read the verb. Bear. Back and back. Oh, back Lu, back, Lu, back lieu. Of course, without the OH, and it becomes bad, cold. And that call we use this for, do you remember? Yes, for Anna, for I and in the previous lesson, you took he, he, he who are back on YouTube, he who are backward. And now here, you keep in mind that the verb for they is always, always it ends with o. And so this here is bad clue, okay? But clue, homemade back Lu and the object one, you know it like a moon, lemon, Homer back Lu Lei moon. So sorry for this short video. I hope you enjoyed it anyway. And see you later. 8. Wh Questions (What): Hi merhaba. In this lesson, you will learn how to ask a question using what? You will learn also, how to answer them, of course. So let's start with this conversation between these two. Okay. The girl saying something, Let's start to read it. Ash. Sure. We've finished the first word, shoe, which means what? What Shu means what? Of course, this is in formal. Okay, keep in mind that formal language is a bit different. Let's try to read the next one at that. But **** **** my jama jama show. Determine these two combined. What are you doing? Show pajama. Let's see what he's responding now. Let's read this. N, and of course, we know the first one. And I bought by law. But lab. Lab. My lab. Do you remember this word? By lab? I am playing. Yes. Let's start reading the next one. Foot. Football. Football. Football. Football. So I am playing football. So she said, What are you doing? Shoop Talmud. He said an ABA lab football. I am playing football. Okay. Oh, now he's asking her question. Oh, let's read this. Ash Shu. Shu of course we've served before. It means what? At but m, gamma, gamma Lou. Oh, so do you remember o and at the end, it's for it's for the plural. It's for homemade. Homemade. Do you remember this word, homemade? This subject? Is they home message? For today? We always use the verb. Remember the verb at the end we use. And so here, gamma LU. So here he's saying not just for her, What are you doing? He means for her and the others with her. Right. So it's not only her if it's only here, he'd say Shou Li, remember this? Li. So he said shook Tammy, Lou. And that's for the, for the plural. And she said previously shoe. So that's four for masculine. But if he said Shou Li, so instead of o and at the end of this word, he used e, the letter e. So it becomes really shook their family. And if this is the question, it would mean that it's for her only short-term money. But he said here, shoop, Chairman Lu and it's for plural, it's for her and others with her. We don't see them, but they are with her because this is for plural. And here she said, Let's read this. Now. Remember that if he asked hair and only for hair, so if it's singular, she would use an air me, which is I is for hair only. But now it's not just for her. She is saying about her and others with her. So she's saying and ethno means we, we are, we m n men. Manana. My neck and neck called a henna, neck color. So here, this means we are eating the object here, of course, l0 m lay moon, E, moon. So there's a mark above the letter L. So NAM NAG called Les moon, we are eating lemon. Now, there's a homework for you. You can check it. It's a PDF version and it's on my project description. What you need to do is to read the Arabic words and try to put them in order. Send your answers as pictures or comments. And I will get back to you. Thank you very much. And I hope these lessons were fruitful for you. Let me know down in the comments if they really were that fruitful. If you've learned something, let me know. And really, thank you. Bye.
