1. Introduction to understanding and learning Ai interventions in video making Techniques: Artificial intelligence
or AI interventions are changing the way of doing things in a way
and manner that we never thought was possible
just a few months ago. And this is even more so in the firm video making
and by extension, social media content creation. This a few months ago, in this very class, I taught certain tricks, tips, and hacks in modern
video production today, almost six months after that, those tricks and hacks are almost absolute thanks to
AI interventions and tools. While our interventions in
most cases are welcome, in some cases, it is
very controversial. And in fact, in some cases it is actually threatening
jobs and careers. Whichever way you look
at it, the factors, you have no choice but to understand a land how
a Division's work, because like it or
not sooner rather than later and intervention, we'll be creating your job, your skill, or your career. You have to know and
understand a land, how AI works so that you can
use it to your advantage. And that is what
this class is about. At the end of this class, you are going to understand
and learn how to use two amazing tools that
are completely changed, setting, aspect and
principles of video making in a way that I
never thought was possible. Just a couple of months ago, what am I talking about? Gathered up and let's
go to the class now.
2. Understand and Learn these Ai interventions and tools that are changing Video Making Techniques as w: Hello folks and welcome
once again to my class. In this class, I'm going to be teaching you what you should know about some amazing AI
tools and interventions. Amazing AI tools that
you can use a hacks and tricks in your social media content creation and DevOps. This a few months ago
in this very class, I talked about some
video editing hacks, as well as tips, hacks and
tricks in video recording. Now, just a few
months after that, there has made some
AI tools that have almost rendered all those
tricks and hacks obsolete. So I am back to teach you the new tricks and hacks
that you can use a 2x4. Admittedly, I choose whether you like it or not,
are here to stay. So it is either you learn how these tools work and how
to use them to advantage. Or you may find yourself in the negative side of
the AI revolution. So what are we going
to talk about today? The issue I'm going to be
dealing with is AI integration. In video making techniques. Ai enabled video making hugs. The insight, tricks, tips and hacks every content
creator must know. So I'm going to be talking about AI interventions
in video making, especially for social media, that everybody or every
content creator must know or be at least
aware of the issues. I'm going to be talking
about Directory or what our AI tools
in video making. Then I'll introduce you
to two amazing AI tools. That is to pass and
picks up a photo, upscaling and enhancing tools. Then I'll be telling
you the difference between enhancing and, or upscaling a photo or video. Then I'll be talking
about the importance of a photo and video
upskilling and enhancing tools as an innovative
hack to jump cuts. And why you do not
need to 0 for k or high resolution cameras to
get high resolution videos be as an innovative
solution to use a low resolution for two video insects in
hybrid solution projects. And having a uniform quality of videos throughout a project. And then see as a solution in transforming or making or
photos and videos knew. Then of course, I'll
show you how to use these two i2 starts

and up-skilling tools. And then I'll be giving
you some assignments or projects for you to work on based on what we
are learning today. So now let's go on to
the class for today. Artificial intelligence
or AI tools and new innovations in technology that have come to do things in a way and manner that we never thought
was possible. So what are some of those
innovative AI tools that have come about now? There are a whole lot of them. But for our purposes, I'm just going to mention a few and then I'll
tackle two of them. Now they are a
text-to-speech tools. Now, these are tools that
can translate text, speech. In other words, you type
in something and then it will read it out or
voice it out for you. There are speech to text. That is, you record
something as sound or audio, and then it will translate
it into texts for you. Playing for the high one, dancing with the devil, going with the flow. It's all a game to me. They are I2 that to read
directions for you. If you're making
a documentary or any presentation
or whatever it is, they are a i2 is, all you need is filled them
with their texts or scripts, and then we'll read it out for you in a very
professional voice, a mere female in various
languages and even essence. So if you want a French, if you want a German, if you want a British, if you want an American, and a whole lot of
other nourishes read in these various
languages or assets. So it's the amazing tools. And then there are
audio noise reduction, a i2, the scripts
writing AI tools. All you need is to
feed the AI with an idea of what you want it to script about any to generate
the script for you. Amazing animation, a i2, where we just give them an
idea and to unlimited volume, the address we can even make a wolf from short
videos for you. Just dividend idea or give it the scripts and then it to
animate it into films for you. And then of course,
they are video upscaling or enhancing a i2, which is what we're going
to talk about today. Now, before we get to that, I'll deselect to make
the distinction between enhancing and
up-skilling videos. Now, to enhance a
video or photo is just to make the photo or
video data or sharper. Or Clara, There might be some minor defects in
the video or photo. It could be grainy, it could be black. There could be some things
that are not sharp. You can make an i2 work on all these defects
and correct them and make your picture
or video data. So for instance, if
you had an offer to in black and white or video
in black and white, you can actually
turn those videos or photos to collect
videos and photos. If you have pictures
which are all blocking, defective and the images
are not that sharp, you can feed this
materials into AI tools. It will be correct all
those defects and make your picture look like it
took them just yesterday. That activity is what we call
photo or video enhancing. You're just making the
photo or video look better. And sharper. V2 or photo upscaling
is where you change the video or photo
from one format to another, usually from a lower format to a higher format
or resolution. So for instance, if
you saw something in standard definition or SD, you can upscale it to HD, full HD, or foggy,
or even higher. That means when you shut in SD, it just limited to
a certain number of pixel when you feel anything
in standard definition, for instance, then
you are filming in up to 640 by 48 pixels, which is what the old box
that TV's where suitable for. On the other hand,
if you are feminine, HD or high definition, means fill me in higher pixels
of 720 by 12, 80 pixels. These were the first
generation flat-screen TVs and up bigger than the box TVs. Then there is the
full HD resolution. A video shot in full HD
means the images are produced by 1080,
by 1920 pixels. Which means you need a TV with a screen bigger than the
normal HD TV screen, or a TV capable of scaling up to full HD to fully enjoy
those sub images. Now, if you realize
there are actually two different formats within the high definition
or HD bracket. There is the normal HD, which is 720 by 12, 80 pixels, and then the full HD, which is up to 1080
by 1920 pixels. Then not so common, but available nonetheless,
is to gain resolution, which are images with 25, 60 by 14, 40 plexus. Then above two k comes the
fork, a resolution images. Now, just like in HD, films shot in for K, also referred to as ultra
high definition or UHD, are also of two types. There is forklift,
which consists of 21, 60 pixels by 40 pixels. And for k, which consists of 38, 40 by 21, 60 pixels, it is the same number

orientation is slightly different as to whether they
are more pixels vertically, that is the length, or

extremely high resolutions, from five k up to even
16 key and beyond. So now if you filming SD and

to a higher resolution. So that is the basic
difference between enhancing and
up-skilling videos. Enhancing a video or photo does not necessarily mean
you're upskilling IT. However, up-skilling a video or photo will necessarily involve
some kind of enhancing. Because when you're
stretching the format from a lower format to a
half format, Suddenly, to all extent and purposes, it is a distortion of the original material short
in standard definition. So when we are upskilling
IT to HD or four K, there will certainly be some
distortions in their images. But that will have
to be wet done that we have to be
restored in the process. So secondly, when you're
upskilling a video, there will be some
sort of enhancing of that video or photo. However, this purely enhancing a video for two does not
mean you are upskilling it. I hope that is clear. So now let's come back to
the issue for today. Now, what I'm going to teach
you to them are about to amazing a photo and video
enhancing and upscaling tools. These are two paths, video photo and then
picks up Video AI. Now, these two basically
do the same thing, but they work differently. One is downloadable,
the other is not to pass for two Video
API is downloadable. That means you can
download it onto your PC and then use
it anywhere you are. You don't need to be worried about internet
access or whatever. You can use it on your

the two paths software. Or you can import it
by clicking on Browse. And then you navigate
to where the video is. Select it open and there it is. Now, this video was
originally shot in SD or standard
definition format, but I want to upgrade
or upscale it to full HD or a full high
definition video. So this is how the whole
interface looks like. You have the predetermined
presets at the top right. And you can choose
which preset you want from four
times slow motion, eight times super slow motion, or two crops stabilization, convert to 60 frames per second. D interlaced footage,
and upskill to HD, absolute to fork a, upskill to Forky and convert
to 60 frames per second. Video spreadsheets parameters
that you can select from. And then there's
the output format you want the process
video to be in. Again, there are
various parameters for you to select from. Two times upscale, four times upskill standard
definition in NTSC, standard definition in PAL. Hd, full HD for K, eight key. And a whole lot of
other parameters that you can select are
set for your output video. I want the output of the
UPS good video to be in full HD 25 frames per second. There are also free tools
you can use. Stabilization. That is, if there is some
shaking in the camera, work in the video that
you want to stabilize. You choose this, set, the parameters you want. There are other filters
you can use that as a frame interpolation
enhancements. And if the video is
grainy and you want the gradients glared,
you select green. You can do all these things
into paths. Video, AI. The AI, whole lot
of parameters that you can select for your
video to be processed in with this amazing video
i2 to pass Video AI. So after you have imported the video and set
up the parameters, then you go to Exports. I have already
selected the format. I wonder if you do
inputting that is full HD. So you click on exports. And that brings up a
split screen for you to compare the original video and the obscured
or enhanced video, as the case may be. Even at this stage, you can
clearly see the difference. The original videos, the left, and the process
video to the right. Now, depending on the size
or duration of the video, the format you want
to upskill two, and most importantly,
the processes speed or how powerful
your computer is. Processing of the video
can take anywhere from a few seconds to a couple
of minutes or even hours. That is, if the
file is very large or the processes speed of
your computer is very slow. So from a video original
shot in standard definition, to pass video, I can upscale
it to HD or full HD. Okay, so as you can see, it has finished upskilling as indicated by this
green mark here. This Greentech indicates that
it has finished processing. And you can see the
difference between the original video
and obscured version. I don't know how clear that
is on the screen recording, but on the PC, it is very clear. So briefly, this is how
to pass Video API works. Let's see how the
original video loose leg, just a few seconds of it. And now let's see how the upscale version also looks like. There is a difference. There. Asked me that she loves Clara and a little bit sharper. So does it for to pass Video AI. With regards to pass photo. This is how the icon looks. It has no black triangle
in the center of the icon. You follow the same
process in importing an image or photo into
two passport to AI. It has a similar interface
like the two-pass video AI, and also has various

various parameters. How many times you
want to upscale it? Two times, four times or more. Now, if you look
at the two images, the original image

any noise or grains. You can clearly
see the difference is sharpness and clarity. So whatever it is you want
to do if the image or video, you can drastically
change the quality and the outlook of
your image by changing the parameters in this amazing
I2 e to pass through to. That is if you have
photographer and to pass video. If you are a videographer, I'm missing a photo and video enhancing tools to pass for two. And Video AI picks up. On the other hand, is
a Cloud-based program. What that means is
that first of all, have an account, you open
an account with tags up. And then when you need to do any video upskilling or
video enhancing job, you login to your account and then you do what
you need to do. Okay, so now let's check
out how picks some works. As I earlier said, picks up
is that cloud based program. So you cannot have it
installed on your computer. You will have to have Internet
access and then you login into your pixel account to
work on your project or video. This is what the
interface looks like. These are projects that
have already worked on. If you want to work
on a new project, you'll click here to
import the video from your computer or
wherever the video is. All you drag and drop
your video material here. These are sample projects. Once you open that
picks up an account, you will have this sample
projects in the accounts to enable you get acquainted
with how picks up wax. Depending on what
you want to do. If each video you click
the appropriate button, you click on process-to-process. You click here to make a clip, edit metadata, or download your completed
or finished work. Here to move in here to delete. Yeah, You see the appearance
versions of your project. The original version
is to the left, and the processed version
is in the middle. The extreme right is a comparison of the original
and the process videos. But we'll come to that later. Let's click on one
of my projects. This is a project that I
had uploaded and web done. It is a TV ad. From this tab, you can
see some metadata or technical information about the original and yet to
be processed video. So this is the original video and this is the processed video. Is the editable metadata
are the various parameters of the video and you can edit
or change them if you want. You click on whatever
you want to change and then input the new detail. But let's go and work on
a new project altogether. So you click here,
or you can drag and drop the video
you want to work on. You click on the video you
want to import into picks up. And you can see it is uploading
the video to picks up. As Elliott said, everything we are doing now is on a cloud. That is whatever we are
doing now is being done on another server or
computer somewhere else in the world and
not on my computer. So you do not need to have a powerful machine or a computer with a fast processing speed
to work on videos in pixel. Now one thing you must
take note of is that everything you do will be
stored on the server for you. But you will need to have credits in your
account to work with. You will need to buy
processing credits in order to process, save, or download your
videos. To buy credits. You click on the tab marked
by processing credits. Then you fill in your
payment details, either by credit
card or debit card. Then you click on Buy and does it your account to be
credited electronically? This is the balance on my icons. Just a little over $19. That is $19.79, which is an amount I can really do a lot
of processing with. There are discounts
offered two new accounts. It was 25 per cent discount at the time I was
opening this account. Yours could be more when you are buying credits
and I guess it depends on how much of processing
credits you are buying, depending on the size
of your video or the resolution or the format you want to upskill or
enhance your video to. The costing on how
much is taking from your credits
will be different. But it is very, very minimum. With ten or $20 worth
of processing credits, you can work on and process a whole lot of short
video materials. For longer videos,
you will need, of course, to buy more credits. It isn't that expensive at all. Okay, So now this
is the video we imported which has been
uploaded into picks up. So you click on the
three horizontal dots under the video you
want to work on, and then click on process
in the drop-down list. Now, these are pre-programmed
presets that you can select from to make
your work faster. Or you can create a customized presets to
our select enhanced HD. That is, I want the
video to be enhanced and apps get from
standard definition. Hi definition.
This automatically changes the parameters to suit the preset I have selected in upskilling
the video to HD. Or you can also click on the
Format tab and select or change the individual parameters to whatever it is you want. You can do all this manually or simply select a
predetermined preset that is MOV slots. Mp4, enhanced HD has UHD, that is for K
resolution and hands, but we have no upskilling. And a whole lot of other factory presets you
can choose from. You can also add
filters if you want to. Then after you are comfortable with the parameters
you have selected, you click on process. Now this will take you to
their billing invoice. This will show you how
much will be deducted from your credits based on the various parameters
you have selected. And of course, taking into consideration the
length of your video. Now, it is showing
me the duration, estimated rendering time, the size of the video I am
working on with this 558.2 mb. It will cost me just $0.51
to process this video. So if you buy 50 or
$60 or even less, you can process a whole lot
of videos with that amount. Now, down here, it also
shows you the cost of processing and then
an estimate of how much it will cost if
you decide to save or store this video or projects
in the Cloud account, and that is $0.01 per month. And how much it will
cost you pay download, which is $0.05 per download. If you are okay
with everything you click on Confirm to proceed. As you can see, it has
started processing or upskilling or enhancing
of the video. Okay, so the processing is done. It has finished processing. And as you can see with
this green icon that appears on the video as it is on this previously
processed video. So I can click on it. And there we are. The original video
and it's metadata. This is the original video
we imported from picks up. This is the processed
or obscured version. So now let's compare
the two videos and see you click the compare
boxes of both videos. You can share the comparison with whoever you want
to share it with, but you want to just compare. So we click on the compatible. So here we are at
the compare pitch. You can clearly
see the difference between the original video, which is to the left, and the process video
which is to the right. At the top of both
videos you can see some metadata
or what videos. To the top-left
corner of the screen, you can see some
information regarding the format of the
original video. It was termed in 720-57-6205
frames per second format, which is standard
definition format. The same video after processing
is now high definition. It is not then 20 by 1080, which is a full HD format. To take the difference
between the two videos. Just light or drag this line
to meet their comparison. What you see to the right of the line is the
processed version. And what you see to the left of the line is the original video. Just look at that. The difference in the
quality of the graphics. That difference in
clarity, in sadness. Wow. You can click on any of the various portions of
the video displayed down here to compare
specific portions of the two videos
simultaneously. So let's click on
the receptionist. Look at that. You can clearly see
the difference in resolution and sadness in the receptionist in
the original video to the left and in the presence
video to the right. You can click on any
other portion of the video and it will display the comparison
for you to check out. Their difference is absolutely clear, no ambiguity whatsoever. I don't know if it
is asked layer in the recording acidosis
or Mac computer. But the result is
absolutely stunning. Grid Cloud-based AI technology. Just look at the
difference between the original and the Processed. Processed. This the
original and processed. So if you have any old view, do you want enhanced
or enhance the up-scaled or upgraded a
higher resolution of format. Even if you do not have a PC powerful enough to handle
that kind of processing, you need not worry at all. Picks up is your
perfect solution. You just get a pixel
account and you can easily do that by
clicking on the picks up link in macro fell by enough processing credits and
the rest will be history. After comparing, you want to download the processed
version of your video. Click on the three
horizontal dots. Click on download, and you can easily and quickly get a copy of the proofs that version
downloaded onto your computer or
an external drive, or any other device or
location that you'll want to download your finished work
to and take notes of this. Your project will be stored in your account until
you delete it, but you will be
charged for storage. So if you do not want to
be charged for storage, then delete the project after
you have downloaded it. Otherwise, your account to
be tagged and debited every month for keeping or storing your project
in your cloud account. As you can see, what
we just worked on is there as well as the other project I worked on previously, as well as the sample
projects that were already in the account
when I opened it. This is it for

up-skilling software. For those with small
laptops or computers with ordinary processing speeds that cannot handle such heavy
video processing tasks. But who liked to do great video enhancing

a laptop that is not powerful enough or does not have a fast process
and speed that can work effectively and speedily on your video
enhancing projects. That should not be
a problem because all you need is internet access. Optics on account, which will

somewhere else in the world, and then have your work
done easily for you. So my advice is that it
will be good to have both. So that whether you have
access to the Internet or not, you can still use
at least one of these AI tools to
process your videos. If you have Internet, you can use either
to pass OpEx up. If you do not have Internet, you can still use to
pass to get your work done so that you are
not limited in any way, whatever the situation may be. Now, these are the three
important resist why you will need to understand and learn
AI tools and interventions. Now, just a few months ago, I did a video on video
editing hacks and femora for single camera
productions in four key format. And then I also did something on recording video like a pro, tips, tricks and hacks. Every online video content
creator must know. Now in these videos, I talked about the need to

higher resolution. Now, this is easily solved with the introduction of this
video, upskilling tools. All you need to do
now is to upscale the video to the resolution
or format you want. Then that solves your problem. All of videos would be uniform. All your videos,
we'll look the same, of the same quality and your video will look smoother
and more professional. And then of course,
the tech solution is that if you have old materials, either video or photos, you can go back and firm
photocopy those images again. But they are all do you
want them to look new? Want them to be of a higher
resolution or format. Or those districts can
easily be solved with this photo and video
enhancing tools. So now that you've learned and understood these AI tools and you've learned how to use them. Let me give you this, slit, the projects for you to work on and then upload
onto the class so that we can discuss and see how we can get better
at doing distance. Now, this is the
project assignment I would like you to do for me. Firm and upload the process
and end results of enhancing a low resolution for two
into a high resolution for two with any
I2 of your choice. So this could be two

video as the case may be. Of course, I'll be

what we've talked about. But then use any AI
upscaling tool of your choice and then upskill this video to a
higher resolution. It could be HD, it could be full HD, or it could be for K,
whichever you prefer. Upscale it. And then in both cases, just show us the before and after results of the projects
that you've worked on, the photo or video
that you've worked on. And then after all this, tell us what unique experiences you got from these exercises. So these are the
