Introduction to social media graphics design: We welcome to our course of social media Graphics design using Canva. Before getting into our lessons, let's start by knowing what social media graphics design is. What is social media graphics design? Social media graphics design refers to the creation of visual content specifically tailored for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, et cetera. It involves using graphics design principles, tools and techniques to craft compelling images, illustrations, infographics, and other visual elements that effectively communicate messages, engage audiences, and enhance brand presence on social media. We'll get through each and every one of them one by one. Well, social media has become an integral part of our personal and professional lives, offering immense opportunities for communication, marketing, and also branding. One of the key elements in effectively leveraging social media is the ability to create eye catching graphics that capture attention amidst the vast sea of content. What are the main purposes? Social media graphic design serves multiple purposes. Those are brand identity, content promotion engagement, informational content, call to action storytelling, and social media advertising. Well, these are the main purposes. Okay, then the overall social media graphics design is a strategic and creative process aimed at enhancing brand visibility, engagement, and impact in the dynamic and competitive landscape of social media platforms. Hope you understood everything about social media graphics design without any further ado, Let's hop onto our first lesson of social media graphics design by knowing its principles. 3. Social media graphics designing principles: Welcome to our first lesson of social media graphics designing. In this lesson, we're going to learn about the principle of social media graphics designing. What is social media graphics designing principle? Well, there are a couple of them and we are go through them step by step and we're going to use it for the whole course. Graphics design is a dynamic field that blends creativity with technical skills to communicate messages visually. Whether you're designing a poster, logo, website, or social media graphic, understanding and applying fundamental design principles is essential to creating effective and visually appealing composition. Let's explore some of the key principles that form the foundation of graphics designing. First one is balance. Balance is very important while designing a graphic because it depends on the weight of every element and how you organize it. Hierarchy hierarchy is one of the key functions, or key feature, of making a professional type of design. Next one is typography. However you design your text, it's going to evoke emotions and also going to show people of how you wanted to show or present it to other people. Okay, it brings a bit of attention. Okay, the next one is color theory. It also evokes emotion, what you want to convey, and also gains a lot of attention from the ones you want to present it to. The next one is contrast. Basically, color theory and contrast goes together. Okay? Because contrast is going to be the one which is going to be eye catching and the color is going to pop. The next one is alignment. The alignment plays a very important role. Now let's say you have a couple of elements on your page or on your panel, but those are not aligned well. If you want to show that you are organized and your presentation has a bit of breathing room or even a bit of, let's say, maintained well, That is going to be an important stuff or important action which we're going to show you. The next one is repetition. Well, you can see that sometimes a couple of elements are used multiple times. But sometimes it looks bad and sometimes it looks good. But we have to find something which can make us consistently use a specific thing without making it look bad. The next one is proximity. Now proximity and also the wide space is like the same. Now you have a couple of elements, a couple of designs on your panel, but you don't have the space. It looks very congested. So you have to maintain the proximity to, you have to follow these, and these are basically the key features. By mastering these fundamental design principles, the designers can create visually compelling and effective compositions that communicate messages, clearly engage audiences, and leave a lasting impression. Whether you're a beginner or an expert designer or experienced designer, understanding and applying these principles will elevate your work and enhance your design skills. So I hope you understood everything about these key features or principles. So we're going to apply all of them in each and every one of these lessons of social media graphics designing. Without any further ado, let's hop onto our first lesson of social media graphics designing. 4. Social media logo design: Welcome to our first lesson of social media graphics design. In this lesson, we are going to learn about how we can make a logo design by using Canva for our social media. Well, in this lesson, I'm also going to be showing you about the key principles of what we're going to follow. But I'm also going to be showing you and also telling you what you have to do and what you don't have to do while making a design or a logo design for your social media. Without any further ado, let's hop onto Canva and start our design. As you can see that I have opened up Canva on my device. Now the thing, what you have to do first or the first thing you have to keep one thing in mind is that if you do not have a premium version of Canva, try to get into the premium version because it's going to allow you get the access of the access of everything and all of the tools, all the resources and basically everything. It will just make your work a lot more easier. In this lesson, just like I said, I'm going to be showing you and I'm also going to be suggesting you a couple of things you have to do and a couple of things which you should remove or not do while making a design. Because when you're making a logo, you see a couple of people that make their logo a lot fancy. They have to put the fancy text, fancy elements, and basically everything should be fancy. But that's not exactly how a logo should be. Your logo needs to be persistent. Your logo needs to be clean, subble, and also professional. It needs to be clear, okay, what your brand is, because the logo or if you make your logo a very complex, make sure to not do it, because if your logo is very complex, it doesn't look that good. Just like I said, the fancy things or the fancy elements which you're going to put inside of it, it's not going to make, you know, let's say your logo good if it's complex, but if you make it clean, even with, you know, the free elements, it will look a lot more better. Because your brand does not depend on the logo. Your brand is your brand. Okay, so let's hop on with, you know, finding our template or finding our, let's say the Canva, or let's say even our panel. Now when you open up Canva, you can see that there are a couple of ways of opening up the panel. Now you can search from over here on the search, bur, search for logo. And it will show you what type of logos you want and the template or the size of the panel which you should use, which is 500 into 500 pick cells. Okay. You can also go off the projects if you have it, then from here you can also go from here and you'll basically find out something called logo over here which is also 500 to 500 pick cells. So there are a couple of different ways of opening it up. Let's say if I just click on this, it will also open me the logo panel where I can start working on my logo over here. But I can also just go off to Custom size. And then I'm going to introduce, click it on Pixels. And you can just type in 500 into 500. And click on Crete, a new design. And it will also open up the same thing for me, even if I make up the size or use the custom size. And it can also go off to create a design and then search for logo. It will also show you the same one. You can see animated logo, even just basic logos. Those are all 500 into 500 except for Twitch logo or Youtube logo which are 800 into 800. But as these are basically the simple ones are the ones which I need. So make sure to keep that thing in mind and even if you don't remember the size of the panel, just make sure to just search from over here, search for the logo, and open it up on your screen or on your tap. Now, another thing over here is that if you want to use pre built logos, what are you going to do? First off, just go off the templates and select the one which you want. Or you can also go from over here. Just click on More and search for logo. And search for whatever type of template you want to use. Just make sure to find out logo. And then from there you'll be able to use whichever type of template, whatever category, just, you know, you can just discover whatever you want. Now you can see from here, there are a couple of logos. And just like I said from the beginning of this course that we have a couple of principles which we are going to follow in each and every one of our lessons. So I'm going to be showing you a couple of logos which you'll be able to use. And obviously it's not something that you have to just, you know, just copy this or you have to do this, it's not like that. I'm going to give you an idea of how you'll be able to make something professional and also subtle. Now, just like I said, it should not be complex. Okay? That's the dome of, you know, making a logo. Now, there are a couple of logos from over here. You can see that these things are very subtle, right? Let's say, I'm going to go down a bit now. You can see that this one, okay, It is not that complex, but it looks very subble and professional, just like this one and also this one, okay? You can see this one also very subble, and you can just basically see what it actually is and for what type of logo it should be. So I'm going to do, start off with a couple of pages over here. I'm going to do is start off with four. And I can also show you a couple more later on, but I'm going to make a couple of pages. Let's start off with something which is going to be very subtle. I'm just going to do, I'm going to put a text, okay, let's make a text logo. I'm going to do is put in a couple of keywords from here. I'm going to do is go off to text and then I'm going to do is put in my text box. There we go. And the last I'm going to do is maybe put in Marino. Okay? So you can see that obviously this cannot be a logo, right? So what I'm going to do is going to be change the typography. If it changed the way it actually looks like so that I can say that it is a logo. So what I'm going to be doing is just I'm going to select on it and then I'm going to do is go off to the text section. Now there are a couple of text dials, okay? You can also use categories over here. You can try or searching for them. You can go down and find the ones which you want. But from here I'm going to do is I want something rounded. From here I'm going to do is search for something. I want this, okay? You can see this is how it looks like right now. I'm going to do is going to be increasing the size. Increase the size. There we go. So this is going to be my logo. Now one thing I'm going to do is going to be go off to the font again and then I'm going to do is search for something which does not have this blank spaces. I'm going to do is use wedges or I'm to use this. Okay? I'm going to need a couple of like small letter ones I'm going to do is this. Let's try it. Okay? Even if you can't find the one, you can just, you also have Google. Let's just try this. Okay? Let's just keep it this way. Okay? This looks a lot more better. Now, what I'm going to be doing over here is that we have our text, but you can see that this is not complex, right? It's just your brand name. And what I'm going to be doing next is just, I'm going to do is click another text box. I'm going to do type in T M. There we go. Trademark. There we go. Looks very simple and subble and professional at the same time. It doesn't need to be very complex, but if you want to put in a couple of elements which you want to put it on this logo, just go off the elements. Let's say I want something, let's say I want a couple of flowers. I'm going to do a search for flowers. Click on CL and then I'm going to do, is going to be fighting for something which will actually look good with this. Okay. Let's see. I'm going to do, maybe if there is any black flower or like small flowers which I can use, I'm going to be using them or you can also use this one, okay? But I'm going to do is search for something very small. Okay? Let's just use this. Okay? I'm going to do is take this over here. I'm going to do is click on this. Click on Black. There we go. See. Just make sure just looks subtle. That's it I'm going to do. Just make another copy of this. There we go. You can see that our first logo has been basically made and you can see how simple that was. You can adjust it wherever you want. Make sure to manage the proximity. There we go. A lot better, right? We can make a couple. Okay. Couple more of these over here I'm going to do is make sure to put another one, but a bit more smaller. There we go. We have our first logo. Totally done. Now, let's move on to the next one. On our next one, what I'm going to be doing, I'm going to put text, but I'm going to put in a couple more elements over here. Okay, The thing I'm going to do is going to be putting in my text, word or keyword over here. I'm going to go off the text again. And now I'm going to do is adding a textbox from here. I'm going to do type in Oracle. Okay, there we go. We have our text over here, not want it to be that three lines Oracle. Then I'm going to do is put another text box, and I need another text box. Okay. I'm going to use three of them individually, but obviously I'm going to change it up later on, so make sure to see the size first I'm going to do is keep it okay. I'm going to keep it this way. There we go. If it is 31, I'm going to do is make sure to keep it up more bigger. I'm going to keep it to be 35. There we go, increase the size. I'm obviously going to change it again. The last one is going to be smaller than this one, which is going to be, let's say 30 or 28, which is going to be perfect. There we go. Now I'm going to do is oracle. And then I'm going to do is change this one too, picture. Then the last one is, let's say with Harry, there we go. Then I'm going to do is going to be like aligning it perfectly, there we go. Now one thing over here, what you can do when you are making whatever you're doing is that makes sure to turn on rulers. First off, you're going to click on this. You can see sometimes the ruler is not available on certain platforms such as this logo. So even if you can't find it, first off you're going to do is click on any one of these. Then you can go off Effects or go off a couple of extra settings. You can go off the position and you'll be able to see this three dot over here. And if you still can't find the ruler, then you have to know that you cannot use the ruler in certain panels such as this logo ones. Okay. But if you are using something else, such as presentation and all, make sure to use it. Or maybe some, let's say post, social media, post. Then you'll be able to use. The first thing I'm going to do is going to be aligning it perfectly. Let's say I'm going to keep it. First off, I'm going to click on it and you can see where this line stands. I'm going to do, keep it over here. I'm going to do, go off to animate. I'm going to go off aligned, make sure to keep it on this left side. The co I'm going to do is make sure to put it right over here. I'm going to do is going to be keeping it around over here. I'm going to do, okay. I'm going to do, keep this one over here. First off, I'm going to do is make sure to use this. There we go. Okay. We have our text over here. Now what I'm going to be doing is going to be make sure to put one thing over here. Picture of well, some just keep it this way. Let's decrease the size. Se keep it 30. There we go. I'm do do keep it 25. There we go. Perfect. We have our text prepared. Now I'm going to do is going to be changing the font. I'm going to search for something which is going to be handwritten or maybe somewhere from Serif. Okay, Let's say use elegant from here. I'm to try this oracle. Okay? It looks really good. I'm going to make sure to use the same thing. What I can do is just click on this roller. Just click on. There we go, It is done. I'm also going to use this over here. There we go. Perfect. Then I'm going to do is going to be resizing it back again. There we go. I'm going to keep it over here. Then I'm going to do is going to be using a bit of color over here because it looks blend, right? What I'm going to be doing is going to be clicking on each and every one of them. Click on Colors. I'm going to make sure that two of these are same and this one is a bit different. I'm going to do this first, this first. Then on the last one I'm going to do is just click on this color. And then I'm just going to be keeping it a bit different so that it looks like this. Or maybe I can also click on this and I'm going to change the color from here. Okay, let's just use this. Looks a lot more better than that one. I'm going to keep it over here. The last one I'm going to keep a bit light, let's say. If I can make it both, I will, but I'm going to go off effect so that it looks a lot more darker modus. Use a bit of shadow or maybe a bit of, let's say background on it. It just looks a lot more better. Okay, lamina, keep the thickness a bit less. There we go. We have our text over here. And then I'm going to do is going to be put in a bit of elements. I'm going to click on Elements. Let's say I want something aesthetic on Enter, go off the graphics. And then I want something over here so that I can use a couple more elements over it. First things first I'm going to do is go down and find something which will actually look good to do. Use this. There we go, perfect. And then I'm going to do is going to be use maybe a flower. According to that I'm going to do is going to be use a flower. It'll enter, I'm going to click on. All I'm going to do is go down, I can use this. I'm going to do is rotate it a bit. There we go. I can also take it back. So I'm going to click on position to back. There we go. If it doesn't look good, make sure to fix in the transparency there. Go to keep it over here. It looks a lot more better. And I can also use something white so that it doesn't look bad. On over here, click on Delete. What I'm going to do is going to be a color I'm going to do is maybe find something a bit more better. Okay? So I can use it, let's say if I can use this over here, okay? A lot more better. What I can do is just take it over here like this. Click on Transparency 100% I can also remove this one if I don't like it. There we go, do is click on this is just click on Position. You can keep it at the top or you can find something which will actually look good with it. Let's use this a lot more better. Click on Deletes. Zoom In. I'm going to keep it this way. There we go. Rotate it. Or we can also keep it this way so that it looks a lot more better. I'm going to click on this horizontal. There we go. Perfect. Over here we have another design I'm to do is maybe use a bit of stars, just make sure that it looks a bit better. I'm going to do is search for some down the lines over here. Click on CL. I'm going to do is maybe I'm going to search for some really small ones. I'm going to do is, let's find these looks a lot more better, something like this. Very small ones, it just looks like it's just flowing away. I'm going to do is you can also use these type of elements too. It's like totally up to you, even if you don't want to, you can just group them up together. And this is it basically, that's the logo you need. I'm going to do the last two ones which are going to be very simple too. I'm going to do is go for the third one. And the third one is going to be basically something which we can replace the text with. I'm going to do is put in a text box. I'm going to click on at a text box. Then I'm going to do is going to be putting in the text which I want. I click put in Poset. Okay, so this is going to be the brand name or the brand logo. But what I'm going to do is going to be, first off increasing the size that I'm going to do is going to be changing this. Okay, I'm going to do is going to be use rename or remove this and put something else in between. Let's say I can use is a color splash. So I'm going to do is going to be go off Elements I'm going to do is going to be putting in a space over here. I'm going to click on Elements. I'm going to do is going to be searching for color splash, there we go. Click on CL, and then I'm going to do is going to be using something from over here. Okay, let's just say I'm going to do is just take one of these from over here. There we go. Let's see. That's it. Basically, that's it. Then I can do is change the font. Sema Do is going to be using something. What Sema do is go on the right. Let's say I want something vintage and I'm going to do is going to be putting in something vintage. What Sema do is this. There we go. Okay. Instead of this I can just search for maybe ink splash. Okay, I'm going to do is take it at the middle and then I'm going to do is going to be finding something from over here. See, that's it you're going to do is just group them up together. There you go. You have your logo and the last one I'm going to do is going to be putting in another one, which is going to be, I'm going to do is start off with an element first. I want to put the text inside of it. Let's say I want a couple of lines, lines. Click on, I want the shapes, or I want the graphics. What I'm going to do is going to be putting a text inside of a box. So I'm going to do is going to be searching for something so that I can use that. Okay. I can also use this. Let's, I'm going to do is going to be using this. Let's say this is going to be the A. And then I'm going to put in my text box, Virtual Virtual Life. There we go. I can also take this control X. It is that simple, okay? This is just just some simple things which you can do, okay? So J is going to be like resizing it a bit more. Control G, there we go. That's it. Now you can see that there are a couple of these logos which you can use. It just looks a lot more better. And also Subble and also professional at the same time. The next thing what you're going to do is just save it up and then you can download it and upload it directly wherever you want to on your social media. In this lesson, we're going to learn about how we can make a Facebook cover photo design by using Canva. So without any further ado, let's just hop on to the lesson by opening up Canva on our device. As you can see on my screen, that I have opened up Canva. Now the first thing, just like I said on the beginning of this course, that I would recommend you using a Pro version because it's not too much either. I will just suggest you because it will allow you to have access to all the resources and all the features of Canva, Which will help you to be more consistent with designing and whatever work you do on Canva. So the first thing we're going to do over here is that we're going to need a panel, or let's say a page where we can make our cover photo. One thing over here is that when we search for Facebook over here, sometimes you might not find it. You can see Facebook. I'm going to cut this over here. I'm going to click on Create a Design. Let's search for Facebook. And you can see over here that we have this cover over here. But one thing about this Facebook cover, this panel or this design, or let's say the presentation, whatever you are using, It does not work the same way for all devices. Let's say there is a specific safe zone that you will be able to see it on specific devices. Let's say if you make something on a presentation and upload it, you can see, you will see that there are some parts which will not be visible on certain devices. Such as if you upload it for your PC, it will not be available perfectly on your phone or not on your tablet or not on your laptop first. That reason we are going to do something and I would suggest you to do it, because if you follow this step, you will basically find it to be visible on all platforms and all devices. There are going to be three specific sizes. Now, if you don't know that specific size, then you can go off to any of your web browser and search for it. I have my browser. I'm going to open it up. As you can see that I have opened up Google Chrome from here. What I'm going to be doing over here is going to be searching for Facebook cover photo resolution. You can see over here I'm going to do is going to be selecting on that. And you can see that there are one, two, and three of them. You can see that this is basically the middle inside of it is called the Save Zen. We are going to be creating this, okay? To create that first thing, what I'm going to be doing is going to be searching or making up a page which is going to be eight 20 into 312 pick cells. I'm going to go off the Canva, I'm, we have this custom size option over here, so I'm going to click on Custom Size. I'm going to do is going to be selecting on Pick Cells. I'm going to do is going to be removing this. I'm going to type in 820 in a three 12. Click on Create New Design. It will open up the design for me on this new tab for me. Now as we have our first size, we're going to need the second size right now, which is going to be 34340 into three 60 I'm going to do is go off to Canva again. Go to Home. Click on Custom Size, I'm going to search, or I'm going to type in six 40. To cut this off, six 40 okay, into three 60, okay? Then I'm going to do, is going to be clicking on Create New Design. So you can see that section or another page for me is being created. After both of them are created, we're going to make up another one. So I'm going to do is go off and make another tab. Where I'm going to do is going to be searching, opening up another section, or opening up another size. That is also going to be quite specific. Okay, From here what I'm going to do is going to be typing or putting in 820 into three, 60, okay? So we have two of these sizes right. Now. As we have two of these sizes, now what I'm going to be doing is going to be taking each and every one of them inside of this one, or this one into this one. Okay? This is like the whole size, but I'm going to do is going to be put the whole thing inside of that one. And as both of them are 820, so it will fit inside of that as this is the biggest one. First thing I'm going to do is going to be I'm taking this, first thing I'm going to do is go off the elements and I'm going to do is search for a box. Or you can also directly find it over here. I'm going to do is click on Shapes. You can see this over here. I'm going to put this square shape over here. Then I'm going to do is going to be increasing the size so that I can use the whole thing I'm going to do is increase it up to the whole page. There we go. Perfect. Then I'm going to do is going to be control C. I'm going to press on control C. Or you can right click on it and copy it up. And I'm going to do, is going to be pasting over here. Okay, we have it pasted over here. I'm going to do take it in such a way that it is equal on both sides. And you can see this upper part and also this lower part is still the same, okay? Now we have this one which is vertically. Now this is aligned. Now I'm going to do the same thing on this size two which is six, 40 into three, 60. Go off the elements. Go off the shapes. Make sure to click on that square shape so that I can fill up this whole page. I'm going to take this shape over here and then I'm going to do, is going to be filling this shape up. Or filling this whole page up. There we go. I'm going to take this and then I'm going to do this. Right click on its right click. I'll just click on it again. I'm going to do undo it, copy. And then I'm going to do is going to be pasting it over here and make sure that this is at the center there, Rico. Now what I'm going to do is going to be changing the color so that I can see which up to which part I do actually need it. I'm going to change the color into just going to put it yellow. Let's just keep it underneath I'm going to do is take it back there, Rico. Now what I'm going to be doing here is going to be using a ruler so that I can make up my specific area which is going to be my safe zone. I'm going to do is going to be removing the other ones which I have over here. This is basically what it is I'm going to do is click on this file option. Over here, you will find out View Settings. Now from here, click on Show Rulers and Guides. Then just drag a line from here, make sure this is perfectly aligned to this one. The next one is going to be aligned over here on the next artist, bottom one. Let's start off from this right side. Let's take another one from this side. There we go. Perfectly placed. Then what I'm going to be doing is going to be clicking on like these elements. Click on more, click on transparency. I'm going to reduce the transparency so that I can start working inside of it. I'm going to just click on it. Click on transparency again. And I'm going to also reduce the transparency. Or what you can also do is just directly remove them because we're not going to be needing that anymore. Because we already have the size which we need and the margin which we actually need so that we can use the guides. Okay, The part inside of this is called the save zone. And no matter whichever part or whichever device you uploaded from, let's say your phone, from your PC, from your tablet, it's all going to be visible when it, when your content or element is inside of the save zone. Now as we're done with the size and as we're done with this page, now the thing, what I'm going to do first is going to be searching for the background. Now there are a couple of backgrounds which you can use. Now if you want a pre built one, you can just go off the design and find out ones which you want. Let's say I'm going to use this, this looks a lot better. Now, you can see that this is how it will look like, but if you don't want to use that, it's totally fine. There are a couple of other templates which you can use from or select from. I'm going to do is going to be add a page. Now when I'm going to do add a page, I'm going to do is make two of them and two different ones. One is going to be pre built and one is going to be directly from scratch. This is going to be prebuilt. I'm going to do is just use this instead of that. Okay. There we go. We have our first one. You can already see that there are a couple of parts which are outside of this safe zone. So what I'm going to be doing is going to be putting it inside of this safe zone so it doesn't look bad. What I'm going to do is going to be, first off, there are a couple of parts which I need to remove sea. I'm not going to be changing a lot of these things. But let's just say I'm going to do is just customize it just a bit so that it doesn't look that bad. Even being our cover photo. I'm going to use First stuff, group this part up. There we go. Let's click on this. Both of them. Control. Okay, let's just take all of them. Group all of them up together. There we go. Now what I'm going to be doing over here is going to be let some of the Jews delete this because this is a cover photo. So what I'm going to do is going to be removing this. Now let's go off to the page two and make our next one, or let's say cover photo directly from scratch. First things first I'm going to do is start off with a design. And then you can see all of them. I'm going to be using each and every one of them. First off, which I need is going to be the phone and then the email to do, let's put it in the location. It's totally up to you them up together. And if you want to remove them, that's also fine. I'm going to show you both of the methods. I'm going to do is go off the elements. Now what I'm going to be needing here is going to be the frame. First off I'm going to do is put the frame in, because that's what I need right now. I'm going to do is cut this off and then I'm going to do is go down and find the frame. Okay, I'm going to do is just keep going down and you will find out these frames I'm going to do is obviously the circle I'm going to use, that you can see that it will appear up on your page or on your presentation, or on your panel in just a bit. If it's not visible, what you can do is just click on it, and then just put on a bit of color and it will be visible. Or if you do not want it to be color, just click on this and it will show up to be just the way you want it to look like. This is how it will look like. Then reposition it into a place where it will look good and also make sure to size it up perfectly. Here we go I'm going to do is going to be clicking on Element again. I'm going to search for portrait on Enter and I'm going to do is going to be taking a photo and then use it. Let's, I'm going to do is click on CL so that I can use something or use a photo. I already used one. I'm going to use a different one over here I'm going to do is use this. Drag it over on this. There we go. Perfect. You can also edit up the photo if you want to, just click on the position or click on Edit Photo. And you'll be able to customize wherever you want it to be. Let Sea Du take it to be a bit more on the right side if you want it to be like that. You can also do that. You can also crop it up. Sea, click on Crop, and then I'm going to be dragging it a bit on this side and align it perfectly on Enter. There we go, we are good to go. Okay. Let's move on to our next lesson, where we're going to learn about how we can design Facebook profile photos by using Canva. 6. Facebook profile picture design: Welcome to another lesson of social media graphics design. In this lesson, we're going to learn about how we can make a Facebook profile picture design. Now I'm going to be showing you two, three different methods of how you will be able to make a professional type of design for your Facebook profile picture. Or maybe you can also use it for your Instagram two without any further ado. Let's just hop on the lesson by opening up Canva on our device. As you can see that I have opened up Canva on my screen. Now there are a couple of things which you have to do. First is that when you want to make yourself a photo design, or let's say a Facebook photo design or Facebook profile photo design, you will see that there is no specific preset, which is the shape or which is the custom size for those specific panels or specific pages. What happens is that you have to make it work or you have to make that area and obviously canva offers you those elements to make that specific preset or make that specific panel. So the first thing what we're going to do is that if you want to search for those Facebook posts, you will basically find the post and all of those. But you will basically not find out that Facebook profile photo Lemina do is search from over here. Facebook Mace book profile photo. You can see there is Facebook profile frames, but this is still 1,500 into 1,500 pixels, which is not exactly what we want. Even if you go off to create a design and search for Facebook profile photo, you will still not find it over here. Okay. You can see the frames, you can see there are more higher resolution, but we do not want that. What happens is that first thing you have to remember the specific size, which is going to be 888 into 888 Pi cells. You can also try different ones, but I don't know the sizes and inches or centimeters, but you can convert them and see how it works. First things first, I'm going to do is type in 888 and do the same thing over here. Obviously, this is kind of like a square click on Create a New design. And there you go, you can see that a template, or let's say a new resolution for my space for profile picture design is going to appear over here. Now there are two methods of generating or getting the photo, which you want to use it on Canva, because obviously when you want to use your photo or when you want to design your photos for you, profile picture for your social media or Facebook, obviously you're going to use or uploaded directly on Canva. Right? But thing here is that I'm not going to be uploading my photo, which I have over here. But obviously I'm going to do is show you how you will be able to upload those photos. Now, I'm going to be using a couple of sources for my photos. One is going to be directly from Canva and another one is going to be from the website. I'm just going to be showing you a couple of methods obviously I have attached in a resource file within our course, so you can find it over there on our resource panel. You can find it and I will attach it with it. So, the first thing is going to be directly from Canva. If you want to use any photos directly from Canva, you can just search for it. Okay, let's, I'm going to do search for some portraits, just like I did in my previous lesson trade. There we go, hit on Enter, and then you have to just go off the photos and then use whichever photo you want. You can select whichever photo you want. Let's say I'm going to do is maybe use this one or use whichever one you want. Lets I'm going to do use this for this specific page. I'm going to just click on it. There we go. I'm going to do add another page. Okay. So on the next page what I'm going to be doing is going to be uploading a photo. Now I'm going to be doing is getting a resource or you can also download some resources directly from the online. I have already added in that resource file or added the photos in the resource file. But if you still want to get more, what you have to do first is open any one of your web browser which you have. What I'm going to do is open up Microsoft Edge. Now on a Microsoft Edge I'm going to do is just open it up. Next thing what I'm going to be doing is going to be I'm going to search for pies.com it on enter. What will happen is that it will take me directly to Picels.com And one thing over here is that this site, or the photos over here are totally royalty free. You can use them on whichever purpose you want to use it for. Now, I'm going to do Search for portrait on, there we go. We have a couple of portraits of a couple of people. You can use them if you want to. Let's say I can use this or maybe use this or even use this or this. Okay, let's just find something which is a lot more better. You can see that there are a couple of things which have like very subtle. You know background, so I'm going to do is maybe I'm going to go down for a bit more and I'm going to do use this. Okay, from here I'm going to do is click on download. And I'm going to wait until it is downloaded. And then I'm going to do is upload it up directly on my Canva. The preset I'm going to do is go off the Canva from here. I'm going to do is go off the uploads and I'm going to click on upload file. This is basically the resource file which I have attached, so I'm going to click on this one, click on Open, it will upload up on Canva. The next step is going to be removing the background. Now about removing the background on Canva, I have to tell you is that just like I said from the beginning, I would suggest you to use Canva Professional because it allows you to access almost all the tools, not even almost all the tools and features of Canva. So I'm going to do is click on this one. And I'm going to do is first off I'm going to it the photo. I'm going to remove the photo for both of them. And then I'm going to do is going to be changing the way it looks like it looks like. Okay. The first things first I'm going to do is I'm going to make two different ones or two different types of designs. I have one photo over here. First I'm going to do is click on BG remover. And then I'm going to do is wait for a while until the background has been removed. And after the background has been removed, what I'm going to be doing over here is going to be changing the way it looks like. Okay, this is the photo, but this is basically the step of how you'll be able to upload those photos and also, you know, just use them whenever you want. What I'm going to do is going to be showing this design over here or showing the design by using this photo because this is a lot, a lot better than the one over at the bottom. I'm going to do is going to be using this photo and I'm going to do is going to be resizing it in such a way so that it looks just a bit more better. Going to do is going to be increasing the size. There we go. So this is the size which we need as this is the size. The next thing I'm going to be doing is, let's say, okay, this is totally perfect. Now what I'm going to be doing is going to be selecting on the page. Okay, there we go. We have the page. First thing I'm going to do is going to be changing the page color. I'm going to do select the page first. I'm going to do is going to be using, what's to do is use this color over here. Okay. I'm going to do is take it at the bottom. There we go, Align it. Then I'm going to do is going to be clicking on Edit Photo again. And I'm going to do is apply in a bit of effect. You can go off the filters. You can apply whichever filter you want. But you can see that there are two types of options over here. One is going to be the old one and the new editor. If you are on the new editor, then you can go off to effects or adjust. And also make sure to apply whatever type of effect you want to apply it on. You can also go off to effect and apply the effects which you have over here. But you can also go off to the old photo editor I'm going to do is take me to the old editor. Just click on it. And then from here what I'm going to be doing is I'm going to just apply a bit of glow. So I'm going to do is wait until this edit image appears up on this photo again. Sometimes what happens is that when you go back to the old editor or the new editor, sometimes it just removes the background or the background is just back to how it was. First thing what you're going to do is click on this BZ remover. Again, click on this Background remover. The background will be removed in just a while. And then you're going to do is going to be applying the effect. The effect which I'm going to be applying is going to be, let's say the glow I'm going to do is click on this background remover. Again, click on this, can see that the background has removed. I'm going to do is going to be resize it and align it perfectly. That I'm going to do is go off to edit image again. When I go off Edit Image, then I will find out the next ones which I'm going to apply, which is going to be the glow or shadow. You can apply it, but what I'm going to do is click on Globe. When I click on Glow, it will apply that effect directly on the background of this one. So I'm going to do is going to be click on this glow and I'm going to do wait until it has been applied. And after it has been applied I'm going to do is customize it to a bit more so that I can see the outlines of that specific o photo. You can see now this is how it looks like I'm going to do, just click on this one and then I'm going to do is going to be reducing the blur. Okay, let's say to just click on this to increase the transparency. Okay, let's just say to remove the blur, and then I'm going to do is going to be increasing the size. Increase the size. There we go. Looks a lot more better, I guess. Or I can also reduce it just a bit so that it doesn't look that bad. As you can try changing it. Changing the blur. Increase the blur or reducing the blur. But I think I'm going to keep it totally this way. Then I'm going to be clicking on the color and I'm going to keep it white. When I keep it white, it will look a lot more better. Next thing I'm going to do is going to be clicked. When I have it applied, I'm going to do is take it over here. I'm increase the size to do is increase it a bit more until I actually get my results to do is wait until it has been applied directly on the photo. I'm going to do is now resize it and align it perfectly that it just looks better. I'm going to do is keep it somewhere around over here. And I'm going to do is increase it a bit more. Okay, perfect. So as we have it, the next thing I'm going to do is going to be changing the way it looks like. I'm going to do is apply in effect so that it looks black and white. So I'm going to do is go down, click on Filters, click on CL. And I'm going to use either streets or maybe gray scale. This just looks a lot more better if you don't like it or if you want to customize it a bit more. Fix in the intensity. And you can also go back and go back to filters and you can fix in the saturation and all of those reduce it, see increase or keep the contrast a bit low brightness to be somewhere around over here. Rico, we have it. Then what I'm going to do is going to be clicking on Shared. And then I'm going to do is click on Download. What you're going to do here is not use PNG First, click on JPG. Make sure to maximize this. What you're going to do is keep it somewhere around. Over here Co click on this and select the specific page. From here, I'm going to select only one page, which is this one. Click on Done and then click on Download. It will take a bit of time. Then what you're going to do is just save it on your PC and then upload it back again on your device on here. I'm going to do is save it up as this says save up I'm going to do is cut it. I'm going to do is delete and save it will be saved up directly over here. What I'm going to do is put in FG Save I'm going to do is, let's say I'm going to do is type in, save it up if it's not valid, what you're going to do is download it back again. What you're going to do is click on Share Clad. What you're going to do is, okay, let's change it again. Jpg size to be a bit bigger quality, higher Change it to the first, click on download, You can see that I have downloaded it. The next thing I'm going to do is going to be applying another page. Now on another page I'm going to do is going to be uploading it up upload file, Click on open and it will open up or it will be uploaded. Next thing I'm going to do is going to go off to elements from here. I'm going to do is remove this and obviously I'm going to do search for frames. I'm going to do go off to frames and then I'm going to do is just apply the frame over here and then I'm going to do is just apply that photo directly from my uploaded. I'm going to click on the circle on that's increase the size there. Rico is going to be my profile photo frame. There we go. Go off to Uploads directly over here. There we go. We have our profile photo. Now you know how you'll be able to do it as we're done with this one, let's go off to the next design. Let's go to do is click on at Page. Now if you want to use this as a profile photo, what you have to do is click on Share First, click on Downloads. Then what you're going to do is click on this transparent background and then download that specific file so that you don't see the wide backgrounds over here. Okay, so make sure to do those. I'm going to show it to you at the end of this lesson. So let's move on to the next one. So I'm going to do is for this design, I'm going to use photos directly from Canva. So I'm going to do Search for Portrait again or just like I said, if you need more then you can go off directly off to, you know, Pisales.com and other sites. But I would suggest you to use Pial.com because that is royalty free. But there is also another site called Unsplash.com you can also use from that too. Now from here I'm going to do is going to take another photo. I'm going to do is take a guy this time. Okay, let's just, I'm going to do is use this photo. First things first I'm going to do is click on its image. You can also edit the image or not do it if you want to. It's like totally up to you that for this lesson I'm not going to be removing the background, but I need to change the way it looks like. O I'm going to do is increase the size. There we go I'm going to do is click on Crop. And then I'm going to do is going to make sure that it is a perfect square. Do click on Done, do select on this, I'm going to do is crop out this area. Okay? This doesn't look that good because the resolution is now, has now broken down. So I'm going to do is use this photo. Do increase the size. There we go. Okay. I'm going to do is this. And I'm going to do is going to be changing the way it looks like. First off I'm going to do is take it a bit at the top, let's just, I'm going to do is increase the size a bit more. Now, first thing I'm going to do is click on Edit, the Image. And then I'm going to do is turn it to be black and white. But if you want to use colors, that's also up to you. First thing I'm going to do is remove the saturation zero. The contrast should be a bit lower, brightness should be a bit lower. Rico click on filters and you can apply whichever one you want. What I'm going to do is that I'm going to do is going to be going back. Now the next thing what I'm going to be doing, first off, you can fix the intensity to this up to you. Now what I'm going to do is click on this auto Enhanced first. What it does is basically enhances the photo in such a way so that it looks a lot more better. And you can see that the color is back again, but we're going to remove that color later on. Okay, so that we can just remove the saturation. Remove the brightness. Fixing the brightness and contrast so that it looks a lot more better. We have to wait just a bit more until it has processed the photo. You can see it has shown us. And you can also see how it looks like on original. So I'm going to click on Apply. And then I'm going to do is going to be removing the saturation. There we go. Saturation removed. Do is fixing the contrast. Fixing the brightness. There we go, perfect. Go off the filters again and apply whichever filters you want to use after you have applied it. Now the next thing I'm going to do is going to be going off the elements from here. I'm going to do is get a shape from here. I'm going to do is search in for shape or you can just find it over here. I'm going to click on this one. And then I'm going to do is going to be reducing the way it looks like a can increase the size. Now I'm going to do is going to be clicking on this colors option Red. I'm going to do is select on white. But what I'm going to do is going to be like reducing the transparency. So I'm going to do is reduce it like this. There we go. Now what I'm going to be doing over here is going to be putting in a text over here. The text is going to be a specific type of font. For this lesson or for this design, I'm going to be using disclaimer font. And that's the name of the font I'm going to do, search in for disclaimer on Enter and you can find it over here. Disclaimer, it will appear up over on the screen, make sure you're connected to the Internet in There we go, I'm going to do is encourage the size, the increase the size a bit more. There we go. I'm going to do is type in John. There we go. Well, let's type in Jeremy. Now, first thing I'm going to do is going to be, first off zoom in. And I'm going to do is select on this text only, not the bottom one. And then I'm going to be increasing the size. There we go, Jeremy. Then I'm going to do is take this one and reduce, keep reducing it. First I'm going to do is make sure that they have really less line spacing. Turn, show a click on this. Perfect. I'm going to select on this one. I'm going to do keep reducing the size until it looks actually good. Let's see, I'm going to do keep it somewhere around the half of this size. I'm going to do, keep reducing it. Okay, perfect. Then I'm going to select on this one. Click on this spacing a bit more. Do the same thing over here. Bit of letter spacing because it doesn't look that good. And then I'm going to do is going to be changing the color. I'm going to do is use red. I'm going to do is go over here, go directly after red, and this one should stay black. Then I'm going to do is go off the position. Make sure to keep it at the center. There we go, center aligned. If you want to keep it a bit more darker, just go over here, go over to the RGB panel and make it a bit dark. There you go. Now what you're going to do is do the same thing which we did first off I'm going to do is going to be selecting the photo is increase the size. There we go. Then what you're going to do is going to be selecting all of them together. Control all of them are grouped up. After you grouped it up, click on Share, click on Download. And they're going to do is select the page. I'm going to select this page. Select all of these. The select them. You're going to click on just only one page. You have to select that up. This is going to be the one. Click on Current page, click on Download, and wait until it has been downloaded, and until that appears up. You can see over here, click on Save, and it will be saved over there. You can see completed. Then I'm going to do is make another page, just like I did for that first design. I'm going to do is go off the elements. I'm going to do is find out frame, there we go. I'm going to do is increase the size of this frame. There we go. The same thing over here. What I'm going to do is go off Uploads, click on Upload files, and then click on this one. There we go. After it will be done or it has been done uploading, what I'm going to do is just click on this and drag it right over that, it appears on this circle. There we go. We are attend with our second profile picture design. You can use both of them and both of them looks very professional. You can try using it on your social media, but obviously if you have more creative ideas, do not hesitate to like neglect the idea. Try it out on Canva, try to make it happen. In this lesson, we're going to learn about how we can make a social media, or let's say an Instagram post design by using Canva. This is going to be very consistent and we are also going to be following a couple of principles. Okay, without any further ado, let's just hop on to the lesson by opening up Canva on our device. As you can see that I have opened up Canva. Now the thing would you have to remember first is that we're going to open up a panel. Obviously in our previous ones we've used Facebook cover photo and also Facebook profile photo. And we also did a couple of logos. So as you can see by now that there are different types of presets for each and every type of work or each and every type of post. So from here we're going to search for Instagram post. On my home screen, you can already see an Instagram post. And the size of this Instagram post panel is going to be ten 80 into ten 80 pick selves. So if you want to open it up from over here, so even if you can't find it over here, you can go off the custom size type in ten 80 into ten 80 pick elves, or you can also search from over here. And even from this creates a design here you can see that there are two different types of Instagram post. One is going to be ten 80 into ten 80, and another one is going to be vertically long. Let me just show to you. You can see from over here that there are a couple of these Instagram posts and also different ones such as logos, flyers, and all of them. You can just search on over here, type and Instagram posts and you can see that there are two types of them. Okay? One is ten 80 in the 30 50 and the other one is ten 80. From here on this lesson, I'm going to be making this Instagram post Square. When you click on this one, you'll basically see that different types of pre built presets are going to be there, which you can use as a template as you can see over here. Now select whichever one you want according to your need. And you can also select a couple of these filters, such as what type of feature do you want, what type of them do you want, and different type of styles. And there are a couple of these options to select from. Now from here, what I'm going to be doing is going to open up any one of it just as a preview. But I'm not going to be using that because I'm going to, I'm going to make up my own type of Instagram post design. So we're going to be starting from scratch. But even if you want to select any of them and start by saving up a lot of time, so you can use these presets or templates, which you will find over here. Let's just click on any one of them. What I'm going to just click on this and then I'm going to do is open it up on my workspace, customize with template. Just click on it. And this new table will open up in Canva. And you will be able to use this pre built template of Instagram post. But just like I said, I'm going to be making something on my own as a scratch. So what I'm going to do is, first off, go home again, which is going to be the home panel. I'm going to go off the effects and I can use whichever effect I want, but I can also animate it and also make it, let's say I'm going to do is just apply in the shadow or maybe a box or let's say I'm going to use outline so you can see the outline over here. I'm going to do is increase the thickness of it. There we go. And I'm going to do is go off to this font section and I'm going to do is change the font into something which is round, or maybe something corporate which goes out with the word use whichever one you want. But from here I'm going to do is search for something round. It just looks a bit better. To do is going to be apply a bit of elements on these ones. I'm going to go off the graphics again. On these graphics I'm is going to be searching for something else. Sema is going to be taking this element over here. I'm going to do to increase the size, it just looks a bit better. We can also increase it a bit more. There we go. In this lesson, we are going to learn about how we can make an Instagram E Commerce banner, or also known as a product banner. Or product display banner. Okay. Without any further ado, let's just hop on the lesson by opening up Canva on our device. As you can see that I have opened up Canva and just like I said, and according to the title, we are going to be making an Instagram E Commerce banner from here. What you can either choose is an Instagram post which is square preset, or you can also use a portrait preset. Now it's going to depend up to you, but for this lesson I'm going to be using an Instagram post square preset. Because that just helps me to put more element into it and also make it look more professional. So the first thing I'm going to do is I can either select from this or I can also go off to custom size, select from here, or even go off to create a design and then select the size from here. I'm going to start off totally blank, so I'm going to do is type in ten 80 in the ten 80 pick cells over here. And I'm going to do is click on this, Create a new design. Whenever you are creating this or applying the size, it will automatically analyze which size you're using and suggest you the ones according to your size. Now from here I'm going to do is click on Create a New Design. And when I click on Create a New Design, it will open up a blank preset for me or a blank page for me specifically made for Instagram post. So I can directly start working from over here. But what happens if I click on over here? It also opens up the same thing. But if you don't want to go through this process, you can find out alternate processes and create the new design. So I'm going to go directly, go off to this tab and I'm going to do, start off my work and just like I said, this is going to be an E Commerce banner. So what we're going to present is going to be either, let's say, a product or maybe something you are selling or maybe something you want to advertise. For this lesson, I'm going to be using a product, and obviously I'm also going to search that product directly from Canva. And even if you want to use any specific element or any specific graphics or any specific product photo, you can directly appoad to Canva. If you've seen my previous lessons, you already know how to do that. Okay, so first thing I'm going to do is if you have already the file on your PC, just go off the uploads, click on upload file and find out the file and upload it directly over here. But as I'm not going to be doing that, so I'm going to do is go off the elements. Now in this elements I'm going to do is search up that element, what I want to advertise. So let's say for this lesson I'm going to be advertising, maybe in here wax, here wax, or maybe like hair gel. So I'm going to do search for here wax. I'm just going to do search for here wax. And from here I'm going to do is find out the ones which I want to use. Now from here I'm going to go off the photos. And if I can find out any specific one which I can, you know, let's say advertise, I'm going to use that. Or first off I'm going to do is going to be selecting a background. Now you can either select a background, you know to be specific colored or you can also use a photo as a background. For this lesson, I'm going to be using a specific photo to be the background so that it looks a lot more better if I can't find the specific photo over here. What I'm going to do is going to be going off online and I'm going to do is going to be searching for anything. I've also added in a photo which you'll be able to use, finding it from the resource file I have attached in with this whole course. First off I'm going to do is select the background which I'm going to be using. I'm going to do is, let's say I'm going to do is use this or maybe we can also use a specific one I'm going to do is just go off for air gel products. Okay. As I've searched for it, there are a couple of photos which I can use. So first stuff I'm going to do is go off the photos and I'm going to do is going to be selecting the background from here. I'm going to do use this or maybe this. These look like really good. I'm going to do is going to be selecting this. Okay, let's try it out. And if it looks good, I'm going to do is use this photo I'm going to do is increase the size. There we go. There we go. Perfect. To make sure that it is aligned to the whole page. If you want it to be a bit more better, directly aligned. So I'm going to do is going to be making this into a background. First things first I'm going to do is edit the photo. I'm going to do is crop it out in such a way so that it looks a lot better. I'm going to do is going to be reducing the size. I'm going to do type in one one. There we go. We also see the background over here. I'm going to do form and then I'm going to do is increase the size of this one. There we go, Perfect. Click on done and it's made, we can also write. Click on it and make it directly into a background. Just click on the set images background and it will be turned into a background. Now first things first I'm going to do is click on transparency. Okay, I'm going to do is just use this. So the next thing I'm going to do is going to be clicking on Edit Photo. And I'm going to do is remove the background. So I'm going to click on BG Remover. And I'm going to do is wait for a while until it has been removed. And as it has been removed, what I'm going to do is going to be, let's say what we're going to do is change the background. I want something pink to go with it. Okay, so it just looks a lot more better. I just want the color to be more visible. So I'm going to do right click on it, detach image from background. And I'm going to do is going to be removing this element. I'm going to do is find out something pink so that it goes well, something like this. There we go. I'm going to do this. Right click on it. Set image as background. There we go. Perfectly placed. I'm going to do is find this perfect spot. Okay, I'm going to do is press on control Z. I'm going to do zoom in. There we go. The next thing I'm going to do is going to be, let's zoom out. I'm going to make another copy. Press on Alt, and you can make another copy when you drag it out. And then I'm going to do is click on Flip. And I want it to be something like a mirror effect, so I'm going to do is click on this flip vertically, there we go. And then I'm going to do is going to be finding this place out. And then what I'm going to be doing next is going to be, let's say to do zoom out. And I'm going to do click on transparency. I'm going to reduce the transparency so that it looks like it is, you know, kind of being mirrored. Okay, so I'm going to do is reduce the transparency until it actually looks good. So there we go. It looks a lot better, but we need a bit of shadow on it. So I'm going to do is click on this element or click on this graphic. Click on Edit, the Photo. And I'm going to do is apply a bit of shadow effects so that it just looks a bit better. So I'm going to do go down and click on the shadow option. And there we have drop glow outlines. I'm going to do click on Drop. There we go. We have our shadow over here. I'm going to do is going to be clicking on the angle and fixing out which side I can put in the shadow over to. Okay, I'm going to do is click on the distance I'm going to do is click on Drop. And then I'm going to do is fixing the blur. There we go. You can also do an outline if you want to, but I'm going to do is going to be fixing in the blur amount. Click on this drop first the energy is fixing the angle. Then I'm going to do is fix in the intensity. There we go, perfect. After I'm done, I'm going to just get back. There we go, perfect. Now the next thing I'm going to be doing is going to be, let's say I'm going to do is fix in a bit of auto focus. I'm going to click on this auto focus over here. And I want it to be a bit more focused on it. Okay. Then I'm going to do is going to be group all of them up so that it looks just a bit better. Now from here I'm going to do fix in the blur intensity. You can fix it up and you can also fix in the focus position. There we go. Now it looks like there is an element over here. Now you can fix in the focus position if you want to. There we go. 48.5 perfect. I'm going to do is head out. There we go, we have both of them. And then I'm going to do is going to be selecting both of them together. Then I'm going to do is group them up so that they don't move around. The photo I'm going to do is click on Edit Photo. If you want to apply more element to it or make it look a bit more better, you can try out the filters because that is what I'm going to be doing. Now I'm going to do is out the one which will look a bit better. With this whole background I'm going to do is try different types of filters which will actually look good. I'm going to do is zoom in a bit. There we go. If you can't find it over here, you can try out different ones too. That's like totally up to you. Which one you're going to use? There we go. This looks a lot more better. I'm going to do is going to be using this and fix in the intensity just a bit so that it looks a bit more better. I'm going to do is going to go back and this is what I want. Now as I have this now, I'm going to need a couple of other elements which is going to go well with this whole product. So the thing I'm going to be doing is going to be searching out for elements which will go along with this. Now the first thing I'm going to do is going to be searching maybe for, okay, just like I said, I wanted to do, you know, here El. But now I'm doing, you know, a shampoo or maybe a conditioner. So I'm going to do is going to be searching for conditioner on enter. What sing to do is used in conditioner and then I'm going to do is go off the graphics and I'm going to do is find out something which will go along with it. Even if you can't find the element which you want to use, you can also directly go off to the Internet and also find out the one which you want to do is going to be searching for hair conditioner. What I'm going to do is hit on Enter. There we go. From here I'm going to do is going to be finding out a couple of elements. And I can also use a couple of herbs which I'm going to be using. Okay? From here I'm going to do is search out the one which I want to use. If I can't find it, I'm going to set, I'm going to do is search. Let's say maybe peach. Peach. There we go. Hit don't enter from here. I'm going to go off the photos and I'm going to just remove the background for that specific photo to okay, Lesmona, just use this. There we go, totally perfect. First things first I'm going to do is go off the elements and then I'm going to do is going to be searching for shadow. Shadow or a black background which will look a lot more better. Shadow on enter. There we go. So I'm going to do is go off to graphics and I'm going to do is find a one which will look good. But I don't want something to be overwhelming, so I'm going to do is try in something which is going to be light. I can also remove the effect over here. I'm going to click on this edit photo, and I can try removing it. You can see over here and I'm going to do, go off to Shadow. I'm going to click on the shadow again. I'm going to do is try over here. Click on this non option. You can fix this angle. There we go. Perfect. Okay, there we go. It has been removed. I'm going to just go off to elements. And then from here I'm going to just search on for a shadow. Again, I'm going to do is search. I'm going to go off the graphics. Then from here I'm going to do is going to be finding out the ones which I want. Delete, There we go. Let's try each and every one of them. Whichever one looks better, I'm going to click on this, go off the position. And then I'm going to do is going to click on Arrange. And I'm going to do is send it to back. Obviously I'm going to do is go through transparency. Reduce the transparency. There we go. It doesn't look that good. And then I'm going to do is going to be let sea put in a bit of effect on this, something like this, sauce. Click on this one is going to be reducing the size. Click on flip vertically. There we go. Reduce. Perfect. There we go, we have our whole design. The next thing you're going to do is just click on position. Select all of the elements inside of this sad is going to be Select all of them from here to here. And then I'm going to do is just group them up. That's it. So let's move on to our next lesson of social media graphics designing. 9. Instagram template design part 1: Welcome to a new lesson of social media graphics design. In this lesson, we are going to learn about how we can make an Instagram template design by using Canva. Now, this lesson might be a bit confusing in certain steps or certain parts, but I'm going to cover up all of these. When we talk about Instagram template design, it can mean a lot of stuff. Let's first off, open up Canva on our device and let's show you how you'll be able to make an Instagram template design by using Canva. As you can see that I have opened up Canva. And now in this lesson, what we're going to learn about is going to be the Instagram template. Now, what does a template mean? Now, a template is basically a pre built template. Or let's say a pre built work or work on something has been done on and another person can just directly use it so that it saves up a lot of time. In this age, people most of the time use templates or hire people to make the templates for them so that they can just put in their content. It just saves up a lot of time. That is the designing part. Now, there could be different type of designs or different type of templates. Now, it could be tech savvy, it could be product, it could be an advertisement. Just about some couple of things which you are advertising, or a couple of your stuff. Your merchandise and all of them. So it depends basically on what you are trying to make the template on and what category it has to be so that people can use it. Now Canva also gives you the access, or it gives you the functionality of just advertising or selling your own template too. Because when we click on any one of these, let's say I want something website based. Now it will suggest me a couple of pre built templates based on, for, you know, website designing. So you can see all of them are categorized as the website designs which I can use as a template. This is basically how it is and how we will be able to make or the idea of making an Instagram template. So it could either go to your feed, it could either go to your story on Instagram and different stuffs. Okay? So make sure to select or make sure to choose the one. Or make sure, you know, keep the goal on a specific subject or a specific audience where you want to get the feed or where you want to get attention from now. But for this lesson I'm going to be showing you both of it on stories two and also on your feet. So I'm going to make two, three pages on each and every one of them. It could be your story, it could be your feet. But one thing about this is that when you are making stories or when you want to make content or design for your stories, you have to take a different panel. Now, a lot of people use Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop in all of them, but I'm going to be showing you an easier method on something, which is Canva. First off, let's just start off with our story. You can either search from over here, Instagram, Instagram story. When you hit on Instagram story, it will already show you. What you have to use is 108920. You might not find it over here. Just click on this one. I would suggest you if you want to open up with the custom size, you can also click on that. I'm just going to like click on this Instagram story. And you will also find out a couple of different templates to use from, but it's going to be directly from scratch. What I'm going to do is just make two templates or two designed for a specific category. Let's say I'm going to do is going to be based on a product product template. So I'm going to do is going to be selecting the one which I want. You can use them if you want to. What I'm going to do is just like click on this Create Blank. Now as I've created a blank one, I'm going to be also making it up a square one because I'm going to be needing that. Now as I have my page, what I'm going to be doing is going to be starting off with the color because that is basically the main part or that is basically the first part. What type of vibe do you want to advertise? First thing what you're going to do is going to be clogging on or selecting the color. Let's first of search for the element which I want to use. Based on that I'm going to do sell or set the color to. First off I'm going to do is search for maybe sunscreen. Sunstream. Okay. On enter. And you'll basically see a couple of them. And then what I'm going to do is going to be selecting the one okay, as this is going to be the background, So I'm going to use something which is going to be looking good based on, you know, this product. So I'm going to go off the photos first and then I'm going to do is going to be selecting one of the elements over here and I want it to advertise, so I'm going to do is select any one of it. Or I can also use a graphic which also looks good. And then based on it I'm going to do is change the color of the page. First things first I'm going to do is going to be selecting this one. This one looks good, this also looks good. Select the one which you want to use. Let's say I'm going to do is going to be using this. This is going to be my background, or this is going to be the main purpose of this whole page. And this is going to be the thing which I'm advertising. So first things first I'm going to do is take this on my first page. There we go. And then I'm going to do keep it at the center. There we go. We have it at the center. And then I'm going to select the page. And then I'm going to do, is going to be changing the color of the page. So based on that I'm going to do either select something like this or something like this. Okay. It looks a lot more better then I'm to do is going to be putting in a box over here. And the box is going to be different. So I'm going to do is just search for a box. Most of the thing what we're going to do over here in this lesson is going to be putting in a couple of elements which look good with it. I'm going to do search for a box, it on Enter, then I'm going to do is go off to graphics. And on graphics I'm going to find something which will actually look good. With this. I'm going to do is use this, okay? Looks quite good. I'm going to do is going to be rotating it. There we go. I need to keep it on 90 degrees. The Rico is rotated a bit more. I want it to be inside of this box. So I'm going to do is keep it increased up there, Rico. I also want it to be at the center. There we go. Then I'm going to do is click on Position and send it back. There we go. And I'm going to do is change the color. I'm going to do is put in white. Okay. Why might look a lot more better. So I'm going to do is keep it white and wait until it appears up. And then I'm going to do, is going to be reducing the transparency a bit so that it doesn't look that bad and it looks better. And then I'm going to do is also change this color because it doesn't look that good. So I'm going to do is going to be changing the color into something which will look better. Something like maybe orange or maybe something like this one. Okay. Looks a lot better. Okay, now we have our color team or color palette. Now what I'm going to be doing is going to be putting in a couple of text inside of this so that it just actually, you know, looks a lot more better. And that I'm going to go off the text and on here I'm going to do is find out something which will actually look good already. So I can also use these already pre built, you know, text, our fonts from over here. And also I'm going to do is use this golden hour and then I'm going to do is use this text so that I can use different ones too. Okay. I'm going to do is use this for my body text. So what I'm going to do is use this over here. There we go. Golden hour I'm going to do is just hit on pipe in mine, Marino. There we go. There we have our text over here. Going to take it a bit at the top. And then I'm going to put in a bit more text over here. I'm going to do is just click on this and then I'm going to do take it at the bottom. And then I'm going to do is just fill it with a couple of different text. Okay, select on this whole text. I'm going to reduce the size. There we go. I'm going to just select on this so that I can take the text from over here directly into this one. I'm going to just select on these ones. Control X. There we go. I'm going to just remove, remove this whole thing. I'm going to select on this and I'm going to keep it small that it just fits in on that areas which I'm, let's say, which I'm trying to advertise. Okay, I'm going to keep it over here. There we go. Increase the size as it's not visible. Obviously, I'm going to do make it visible because, yeah, it needs to be visible. Right? And this is where you want. The other people are, you know, whoever is going to use this template to put their text on. So I'm going to keep it to be black. Let's just keep it black over here. There we go. Okay. So we have our first page done and people can actually put their photos over here. So what we're going to do over here is going to be putting in a frame so that even if they remove the photo, they can just put in their photo whenever they want. The frame basically helps you to use whichever photos you want without removing it and then placing it back again. So the first thing I'm going to do is cut this off and then go off the frames so that I can put in different type of or whoever is using it, they can use photos whenever they want I'm going to do, go off to frames over here, select on this frame. And then we're going to do is going to be putting this at the center. There we go. Keep it quiet at the center. Then you're going to do is just drag this whole thing in. You can just put it, okay. I'm going to just click on this. Go off layers, Bring Forward. Then you're going to do is just overlay it for now because people is going to be removing this and as I'm using a graphic, it will not be placed inside of it. So make sure to use photos whenever you are using any of the templates I'm going to do is just paste it wherever it is or where it was. Okay, there we go. Perfect. At the center, we have our first page done. Now let's move on to our next one now. It could be either text or it could be either photo. For this one I'm going to do is going to be searching for some beach photos. I want a bit of portrait on that photo, obviously as this is going to be a sunscreen. I will apply a bit of effect on it later on. I'm going to do is go off to photos and I'm going to do apply one photo over here with the person which is going to be most likely to be a bit more better. I'm going to do people on the beach, people on beach it on enter. Then I'm going to do is click on Photos. And then I'm going to do is apply in one of the photo from over here. And I'm going to take one photo from here. Let's say something which could actually show that the importance of a sunscreen. I'm going to do is find something which is going to be quite bright and very sunny. I'm going to do is just either take this or take whichever one you want. I'm going to do is go up or what I can do is let's type in beach, sun bath. Okay, So that it is a bit more according to what I want. I'm going to do is just type in and hit on Enter. And then I'm going to do is going to be just go off the photos and look for the ones which I want from here. What I'm going to do is going to be using this photo or maybe something which I want from here. I'm going to do is just use the one which I saw over here. Let's go. And then I'm going to do is increase the size. There we go. What I'm going to do is keep it on the side. There we go. It just gives up a better type of photo over here. Then I'm going to do is going to be putting in a couple of text which will actually go with it. I'm going to do is going to be taking this for here. I'm going to do is just shorten this up just a bit because I'm not going to be needing that anymore. You can also turn it directly into a background photo from here. What I'm going to do is going to be finding out more elements from here. I'm going to do is just search for more boxes, box on enter, and I'm going to do search for something, but this time it has to be like gaped up in the middle. I'm going to do search for a box and go off to graphics. Then from graphics I'm going to do is search for ones which are hollow from here. I'm going to do use something like this. Okay, there we go. Totally perfect. I'm going to do is rotate, Rotate 90 degrees. There go, totally perfect. Then I'm going to do is change it to white. There has been put to white. Then from here, what I'm going to do is going to be reducing this, okay? Reducing the color of this. Or reducing the transparency a bit, that this is a bit more visible. Or I can also use this to transparent make sure to fix this up. That I'm going to do is go off the edit photo and I'm going to do apply a bit of effect on it. It has a bit of that tint on it which is going to be our color over here. From here I'm going to do is go off the filters. Click on CL, and then I'm going to do is try to turn it into something like that. I'm going to do is find out from something warm over here. You can see this is how it would look like. I can also apply more, you can select the ones which you actually want. You can see Sandy over here. It looks a lot more better. And also related to this one I'm going to do is use like reduce the intensity just a bit so that we can reduce this transparency over here. I'm going to click on this. There we go. Fixed up. Then I'm going to do is going to be putting in more over here. And I'm going to do, go off the text and I'm going to do apply in another text over here. Coming soon, or maybe dropping soon, something like that. I'm going to type in dropping soon. Reduce, increase the size. There we go. To reduce this, then I'm going to do is going to be selecting the color to be a bit different. So I'm going to select this one. Let's try changing it to white if it is visible and if it's not. We're going to do is change it to something else. Let's see how it looks like. Okay, take it over here in the middle. I'm going to select on this, and then I'm going to go Effects. I'm going to do apply a bit of left to it so that it looks better. Go off the effects, There we go, Select on it again, and then go off the effects. And then I'm going to do is apply a bit of shadow. I select it to be a bit dark. Then I'm going to do is, as we're done, fix in the direction, there we go. Perfect. It can also lift it up if you want to. If you want to lift it, you can just keep it to be 100% and it will be visible as we're done with this one. I'm going to do apply in a bit of this color over here I'm going to do is go off the elements and apply in a shape which would actually look better. I'm going to do apply in another shape over here. Let's try using this. One I'm going to do is just put it on a corner so that it just looks different, which is going to work as an element over here. I'm just going to do is take this and then I'm going to do is change the color of this white to this one. I'm going to select on this one, and there we go. Selected and perfect. I'm going to change it to a different one. I'm going to do is just black or maybe white perfect. It is done dropping. Soon I'm going to do keep it at the center and then I'm going to do is put in another box which is going to be working as like sign in other button. To put that button up, I'm going to do is just search for a button over here, Enter The button I'm going to do is you can either use a box and put in the text inside. Or you can also just search for a button and just put the text on top of it. I prefer using a button. Most of the time you can see this click here button is going to be using this click here button. And use whichever one I want. I'm going to do is just going to find out one which just looks better. If I don't find the one which I want, I'm going to do is just make one on my own. I'm going to do is I'm going to do is just find out the one which I'm going to be making. I'm going to do is just type in a box. I'm just going to hit on enter. As disappears up, I'm going to do is just go off the graphics and then apply another box over here. Okay, I'm going to do is just find the one which we want. Let's say I'm going to do is something which is also hollow. Okay? This one looks a lot better. I'm going to do is just use this over here at the center. I'm going to do is change the color of this into white. There we go. And then I'm going to do is apply a bit of effect so that there it looks like it's popped up. I'm going to do is click on it. Then I'm going to do is put in a bit of shadow on it. If we don't find it over here, what we're going to do is just go off to the old editor. You can see ability to change individual colors. We're going to do is just find out something from over here or maybe something from over here which looks actually good. Okay, going to do is maybe, Let's go off the color mix just a bit. So I'm going to open it up and I'm going to let it apply its effect on this specific box. And if it doesn't open up, we're going to do is just wait for a bit. I'm going to apply whichever effect I want. But first off, let's just put in the text which we want. I'm going to just click on this one. And I'm going to do is going to be copying this, that I'm going to do is going to be typing in Click. Here and reduce the size of this until it fits inside of that box. Okay. One thing you have to do is that whatever you do and even if you don't group them up, but you have to group these two up because this is going to be a text holder, you can group them up together. Group them together. And then just select the ones control. There we go. Now this is grouped up, Do press on control. There we go, groups. Here we have two of the photos which we can use, or two of the stories which we can use on advertisement. We can also take it a bit at the top and then like keep it over here. There we go. Perfect. We can also apply more pages, but I'm going to do is going to be applying the last thing which I'm going to do is put in a bit of shadow. Or let's say maybe a window shadow, which is going to be a lot more better than having nothing I'm going to do is put in window shadow. I'm going to go off the graphics and I'm going to do Apply the ones. Yes, something like this. I'm going to do is go off to graphics and apply those effects over here. What I'm going to do is use this over here on this one, as this is going to be something like a beach vibe to it. So I'm going to do is just apply this one. There we go, I do. I'm going to click on this transparency, reduce it a bit. There we go. Looks a lot better. And we're going to do is apply the same thing over here, but a bit different than the first one. Let's, I'm going to do is something similar to that. I'm going to find out something similar to that one. Right click on it. And then you have this option called more like this so that I can apply more something like this. I'm going to use this over here and I'm going to do is going to be finding this position over here. There we go us. Click on Transparency. There we go, Perfect. This is basically how you'll be able to make an Instagram template story. This is going to be only the first part. In our second part, we're going to be making Instagram template design for our feed. In our previous lesson, in our first part we have covered up how we can make an Instagram template story design. Now we are going to be making a post design without any further ado. Let's just hop out of the lesson by opening up Canva on our device. In the first part, I've already shown you how you can make your post, or let's say our first part, I've shown you how you can make the story. Now in this lesson, I'm going to be showing you how you can make the post. There are a couple of ways of how you can start it up. And you can see already I have done the Instagram story. But you will find out the post design over here or the post template over here. First I'm going to do is click on it. I'm going to be making two, three pages, 4 pages like Max. Okay? Because it needs to be based on how our story was. If you've seen the first part, you already know how the story used to look like our story did look like. So the thing, what we're going to do here is going to be making in three to four pages. Let's start off with three now. Three is going to be, the third one is going to be a bit different, but the first two ones are going to be quite the same. So we're going to start off with our first one, which is going to have, you know, the brand name and also a bit of content. So the thing I'm going to do is going to be going off to elements. And then from here I'm going to do, start off by first off putting in the color of the background. From here I use this one or this one, which was according to this page. I'm going to do select on this, there we go. Which is going to be looking a lot better. Next one is going to have our second color of the page, which was basically a photo. As I'm not going to be using a photo, I'm going to do is just put another color over here, which also looks quite good. And the third one is going to be basically the same one. Okay, which is the first. So the first thing what we're going to do over here is going to be starting off with shapes and starting off with whatever content we want to put on. Okay, so I'm going to go off the shapes put in the square over here so that we can put in, let's say our branding over here. Which is going to be quite simple. So I'm going to do is take this I'm going to do is make it a bit elongated. There we go. And then I'm going to do is going to be taking this over here. Now the color of this one is going to be similar to the second page. I'm going to do is change the color of how it looks like. I'm going to select on this, there we go, perfect. And now I'm going to do is put in the name of the brand over here. Okay? So I'm going to do is just put in the name. I'll put in whatever you want. It's up to you that I'm going to do is going to be putting in another box which is basically going to be a text box. So that I'm going to do is going to be increasing the size. There we go. There we go. Okay. So this is going to be the next box. And then I'm going to do is make another copy of this at the bottom. There we go, over here. Totally done. And then I'm going to put in this box over here. And as this is a textbox, I'm going to do change the color of how it looks like. I'm going to do change it. You can either keep it solid, but for this lesson I'm going to do is use this to be a bit gradient like some. To just put this over here, it looks really good. If I want a bit of rounded corners, I can also apply it, so you can use the rounded ones. It's totally up to you. For this one I'm going to do is, instead of this one, I'm going to do is use this rounded cornered one. It just looks a bit more better. Rather than having corners, I'm going to increase the size. There we go, perfect. Then I'm going to do is go off to the shapes over here. Select on the color, and then I'm going to do is go off on this. There we go, Perfect. I'm going to do is going to be putting in the text over here, but obviously you don't need to put in any specific text because it's going to be depending on the clients or who is going to use that. What you're going to do is rather just put in a bit of like text text box or a text box over here so that it looks good. Now you can put in more elements, but first off, let's start off putting in our text which is, which is going to be the brand. Okay, I'm going to do is go down and then I'm going to do is use the one which I used in our first part. So I'm going to go down and find out the golden hour. Again, I'm going to do is use the one which I've recently used. I'm going to click on See. All I'm going to do is use the hollow box, which will make it look a bit more better. And I'm going to do fix in the transparency. Now in the transparency, what I'm going to be doing next is going to be selecting the frame of this element. I'm going to go back and then I'm going to do is going to be putting in whichever frame I want to use. From here I can either use a box frame, which I specifically prefer for this specific pace. I'm going to do is click on this frame over here. I want this to be on over here. There you go. I'm going to do is take this. There we go. Perfect. Just which I find over here on Canva elements from here. I'm going to do is just use this. I'm going to do is just apply it over here so that it doesn't look that blank. I'm just going to apply it right over here. Take this I'm going to do is change it to white. There we go. The silver color is also giving it off a really good look. We have, we have it done. That I'm going to do is going to be using the couple of shadows which I used in this first one. I'm going to do apply it over here two and I'm going to do make it look a lot more better if you want to use these two. You can also use them from here. I'm going to do go off elements which is already over here. I'm going to do is just search for window shadow. There we go. So I'm going to do is just search for it. I'm going to do is find out the ones which I want and apply directly. Okay. I'm going to do is use this on the second page. There we go. Perfect. Do is just take it over here. Do is delete this part. The last one I'm going to do is just put this. Then what you're going to do is just go off the position and then make sure the shadow is back at the top so that it looks good. In this lesson, we're going to learn about Youtube thumbnail design. Now by hearing this, you might think that how can this be totally specific? Well, obviously it's going to depend up to your creativity and also about your idea. But I'm going to give you a clear suggestion, clear idea of how you'll be able to design thumbnails for Youtube in Canva. Without any further ado, let's us hop onto the lesson by opening up Canva on our device. Now as I've opened up Canva on my device, the next thing I'm going to be doing is going to be opening up the preset which I want to use now. The first preset which I have to open up is going to have a desired size or a specific size. Now the specific size for Youtube Numniles is going to be around 12, 80 pick cells in the seven 20 Pi cells. Now you can directly apply it or open up that preset directly from custom sizes over here. If you go off on these sections over here, you'll be able to find out Youtube thumbnails and you'll be able to use them directly. But even if you can't find it, what you're going to do is just you can search on from over here. Nail, if you want to use any specific preset, then you'll be able to use it from over here. This is the 12 80 in the seven 20 pixels as you can see Youtube thumbnail. Now what you can also do is go off the custom size and input in your input the size 12, 80 into seven 20 pixels, as we have our desired size or our specific size. The next thing I'm going to be doing is going to be clicking on Create New Design. First thing I'm going to do is going to be clicking on this Create New Design. Now there are a couple of different presentation, a couple of different, let's say graphics. Which you can apply or open up in Canva by using the specific size or depth specific size which we've used. Which is 128720 Pi Els. Now the first thing, as we've opened it up, now what we need is going to be a background. And what we need is going to be the graphic or the photo, which is going to actually get the attention from. Now, for this lesson, I'm going to be showing you two three types of thumbnail design which are going to be very simple. You just have to follow up those ideas. And I can assure you, even if you do use them like totally the same, you will also get quite the attention from your viewers. So the first thing I'm going to be doing is going to be starting off with this page. Now the first thing we'll, we're going to do is going to be, just like I said, you're going to need a specific background from here, what I'm going to do is go off the graphics, and then from here you can select whichever type of or whichever category of templates you want to use. Now you can either use a template or you can make your own template. If you want to make your own template or make your own thumbnail directly from scratch, you can go off the elements and search for it. But if you want some ideas or suggestions, some motivations, you will be able to get it from direct templates. You can also use them directly. First thing I'm going to do is go off the elements as we are going to be starting off from scratch. I'm going to be doing is going to search for something. Let's say I want something tech based tech on enter. Now as I have to, first thing I'm going to do is just search for a technology background which is going to be applied directly on the page which I have now. You can also go off the photos or off to graphics, but let's search or use something from the photos if there's anything good. If you can't find it over here, you can also go directly to graphics and apply it. First thing I'm going to do is going to be using this photo I'm going to do is apply directly over here. And then I'm going to do is turn it into a background. I'm going to write, click on it and set image as a background. Now as I have the background now I'm going to need a specific design. Or let's say first off, one thing you have to keep in mind is that make sure not to make it too complicated, just the way we did it on logos. The first thing I'm going to do is going to be needing a photo, which is going to get the attention. Now from here you can also upload your own photo or you can also search up from the elements. Okay, I'm going to use is the elements over here. Now from here I'm going to do is going to be for, let's say search for portraits on enter. I'm going to search for it again. Over here. There we go. Hit on Enter. And I'm going to do is going to be going off the graphics from graphics I'm going to do is take one photo from one photo. What I'm going to be doing is going to be get one photo, remove the background and then put in the text from here. I'm going to do search for anything specific that I'm going to do. Use this, I'm going to do click on this photo and then I'm going to do is click on it, the photo. Now it takes a bit of time to load the full resolution of the specific photo I'm going to do is just click on this edited photo. As this has loaded up, I'm going to do is just click on this BG remover. You have to like select on this to remove the background, click on it and Canva will directly scan or analyze the whole photo. And remove the background just the way you want to. Now you can see that the photo has been removed. I'm going to do is take this over here. Now as you can see that, even if we just apply this photo, it doesn't look that bad. What we're going to do is make it to be a bit better. So the first thing I'm going to do is going to be applying this specific feature, our specific styling, which is called the glow effect. So I'm going to do is apply this glow effect on this. Now if you cannot find the glow effect over here, what you can do is go after the old photo editor of Canva. Well, there are certainly two different types of editors on Canva when you're editing photos. One is the newer one and one is going to be the older one. Now the older one has like specific features and also the new one have like specific new features. So make sure to use it and check out the one which you want. And I most of the time use two of them by toggling from whenever I wanted. I'm going to just click on this preferred old, I'm going to just take me to the old editor. And when you click on that, what you're going to do is just remove the background again. After I remove the background again, I'm going to do apply that glow effect directly on this photo. But what happens if I apply the glow effect directly on this photo? What happens is that the glow effect will be applied on the boundaries, or let's say the borders. But I want it just on the specific person. I want the glow effect to be specifically on this person. I'm going to do is just first off remove the background, click on Background Remover. Now after I've removed the background, now I'm going to do is just click on Apply. There we go. This is how this old editor works. I'm going to do is take it over here. And I can see that all the interface has changed because this is the old editor. Okay, now I'm going to do is going to be searching out for a glow effect. I'm going to do, click on this glow effect after the glow effect has been applied, is going to be starting off the next effect or the next thing which I'm going to be putting, which is going to be the text. Now what is it going to be based on? I'm going to do is wait until the glow effect has been applied and then I'm going to do is also adjust the glow effect on the outside of this specific photo or the background, which we have. As you can see, the glow effect has been applied. But I need a specific type of globe. I'm going to click on this again and then we can see that this is basically like shadow I'm going to do is go on L and then there we go, we have glow. Just click on it. And then I'm going to just fix in the size, whatever size you want. Make sure to select on it. Can fix in the transparency, fix in those two. And then like fix in the color from here. I'm going to select on this and then I'm going to do is apply something from here. There we go. Perfect, select on this one. There we go, we have the glow. Then I'm going to do is going to be fixing in the blur. Fixing the transparency. Fixing the size. There we go. A lot better I'm going to do is fixing the transparency a bit more. I'm going to do increase it, or maybe decrease it a bit. There we go. I'm going to do is fix in the blur. Okay, As we have the globe applied, I'm going to do is click on Apply. Perfect. Now the next thing I'm going to do is going to be putting in the text. Or if you want to apply any more effect on it, you can also do that. If you want to apply more effect, just go off elements and then search for. Okay, I'm going to hit on Enter and after I hit on Enter, I'm going to go off the graphics and find something related to it or which I can actually use from here. I'm going to use this one. There go looks a lot more better I'm going to do is just apply it just the way it is. I'm going to do rotate it so I can keep it to be like this, to increase the size. And then I'm going to do position it to be at the back. I'm going to click on position again. Send to back there. Go wait until it processes up the photo. As you can see the effect has been applied and also it is sent at the back. I'm going to do is click on this again. I'm going to do is fix in the transparency. Just reduce it a bit there co perfect. Then I'm going to do is now I'm going to do is go off the elements and I'm, let's say I'm going to go off to text now. Now from text I'm going to do is apply in the text or whatever type of text I want to use. Now from here I'm going to do is search for something from over here. Which is already made because these are quite good too. Even if you want to apply your own type of text, you can also apply that from here. I'm going to do is going to be click on this one, free delivery, and you can see this is looking really good and will look really good. Let's say as a comma is going to be taking this over here. I'm going to make sure that this is cornered over here. I'm going to take it at a corner, I'm going to rotate it a bit. The Rico perfect reduce the size duce type in my own text. From here I'm going to do is use another photo. But instead of using a photo, I'm going to do is use graphics and use it as a background. I'm going to do increase the size so that it adds up to the whole page. Here we go. Just like I said, it needs to be hollow and hollow effect which is going to be see through at a certain part. First thing I'm going to do is going to be copy this specific element, our photo, which is going to have the same effect, but I'm going to do is change the effect later on. But what I'm going to do is going to be edit up a bit more. I'm going to do, take this photo over here, I'm going to place it and wait until it shows up. There we go. We have our photo here. I'm going to be increasing the size in such a way so that the whole thing is quite visible. Now you can see that there is this glow effect we're going to do, remove this glow effect from the specific parts. I'm going to keep it at the center. There we go. Now how do I do that? First I'm going to do is go off the text and then I'm going to do is going to be selecting a text which actually looks good. But first off, there are going to be two different parts of this specific design. So I'm going to do, make sure to follow each and every one of this. Do not like skip any part. First thing I'm going to do is going to be clicking on at a text box. When I click on at a text box, you can see the text has appeared up and I'm going to use the same font. First things first I'm going to do is going to be putting in my text or which is going to be Mal. Okay. From here I'm going to do is just type in, let's say, how to design a thumbnail. There we go. How to design thumbnail, I'm going to do is going to be increasing the size perfect. Now what I want it to happen is that I want a hollow effect inside of it where this person is, first thing I'm going to be doing is going to be making another copy of it. I'm going to do is going to be taking another copy. There we go. What I'm going to be doing is going to be using this to be hollow. I'm going to do is guff on effect. What I'm going to be doing is going to be clicking on hollow. There we go. Perfect. Now what I'm going to be doing is going to be taking this on the same level, but what I'm going to do is going to be collecting on position first. First off, go off the position on position. What I'm going to do is going to be send it to back, there we go. And you can see this is how it will look like, this hollow effect, okay? So you can see this is how it looks like. Now what you can see is going to be looking quite good. But if you want to apply more effect to it, what you're going to do is going to be selecting on this. Then what you're going to do is going to be selecting the bottom one. Click on position. Make sure to select the one which you actually need. First things first, I want only the back one or the one which is below to have the effect. I'm going to click on that specific text or specific elements go off Effects. And then I'm going to do is going to be clicking on Glow R, which we have over here, called the Outline. You can also apply a bit of neon effect to it, but I'm going to be needing a glow effect. So I'm going to do is click on Outline. When you click on Outline, what we're going to do is going to be fixing in. Okay. I'm going to fix in the way it looks like. I'm going to just click in the thickness, there we go. And then I'm going to do, is going to be changing the color. I'm going to let us use blue and you can fix in the thickness. There we go, perfect. Now you can see that we have our thumbnail total ready how to design a thumbnail. And what you can do is just group them up together after you are done. But what happens if you group them up together is that they are going to be marched into one. If you want to group them up, make sure to group them up all together instead of grouping only two of these elements. Because these two need to be different. Or let's say these two need to be separate on separate layers. I hope you understood everything about this. I'm going to do is just go off the globe. And when I go off the globe, I'm going to do is going to be changing the way or changing the color. But one thing is that when you copy a specific element, sometimes what happens is that it overlays it or it makes another layer over the glow layer or over the edited layer. So what happens is that sometimes you should prefer, you know, take the, you know, long way again, such as taking the photo, removing the background, and then changing the way it looks like again so that it looks a bit better. And make sure to always fix in your alignment because it will look a lot more better when all of your elements are aligned perfectly. Now you can also apply different type of elements, and another thing is to make sure that you are connected to the Internet so you can access or use all of the tools in Canva. Now as it is appeared up, someone just click on this one. And then I'm going to do is going to be selecting on this color, the rig. And you will basically see that there might be two effect on it or two colors. But what you can do is just fix in the transparency to be 100% When you like increase it to 100% you will basically see the color has changed, but it will still have a bit of tint on it. You can fix the size, fix in the blur, and then you are good to go and this will look a lot better. Okay, After you've done, just make sure to save them up. And you can also share it up whenever you want to. The photo which you basically see at the top of every channel is going to be the cover photo, or that is what is called the cover photo of Youtube. In this lesson, I'm going to be showing you how you will be able to design that without any further ado. Let's just hop onto the lesson by opening up Canva on our device. As you can see that I have opened up Canva on my device. Now the first thing what we have to do is going to be searching for the preset, or searching for the panel where we are going to apply all our edits. So you might not find it over here or any of these places, but there is a specific size, right? It's kind of like a presentation, but a bit bigger than that. First off you're going to do is just search over here. Youtube channel art. To do is type in Youtube channel art. I'm going to do is cut this off Youtube channel. There we go, Hit on Enter and make sure you are connected to Internet. You can see Youtube channel art. Well, if it doesn't appear up, make sure to go down and you can see these Youtube channel Arts. Click on that again. If you are on the website of Youtube or let's say Canva.com you'll basically find it. And sometimes on the software it doesn't open up. But when you click on this Youtube channel, Art Templates, it will obviously show you the ones which you actually need. Well, these are basically the templates or pre built templates which you will be able to use for your channel. And these are actually, some of them are quite actually decent and looks quite good. But as we are going to be starting or making a one directly from scratch. So first off, what you're going to do is just click on Create Blank. Now after we click on this Create Blank, it will open up a blank workspace for you where you will be able to start adding up the content. But before getting into the actual content of making our, let's say Youtube cover art, we are going to be making the safe place, or let's say the safe spot where your graphic or whatever you put inside of this panel is going to appear up on your cover photo. Now obviously the whole page will not be visible, cannot be visible on Youtube. Let me just show you an example. As you can see on my screen that I have opened up Google Chrome. And this photo you see over here is called this cover photo for your Youtube. Now you can see that even though that this is a small area, but on Canva we have a very big working space or the page, but I need a specific area just like this one small area which is going to be visible on your Youtube cover photo. What I'm going to be doing is going to be making that area or that safe area which will be visible. Now, there are also a couple of different areas because it shows different on your PC, different on your TV, and also different on your phone. Now in this lesson, I'm going to be showing you how you'll be able to make the safe area or safe spot for your PC and also all devices. Now, another thing is that if you have a TV, then you don't have to worry because the whole page is going to be visible on your TV. But you have to make sure that it is specifically made or made perfectly for your, let's say PC or all devices. So to do that, the first thing what we're going to do is going to be making the safe area. To do that we're going to do is go off the file, click on View Settings, and turn on Show Rulers and Guides. Now there is going to be a specific area, which is going to be 423. So first thing I'm going to do is get something on this vertical scale. Or get the ruler from the vertical scale. And I'm going to do is find something over here which is going to be close to 400, 23:00 A.M. going to do is make sure, just cut this off over here. And I'm going to do is going to be keeping it on 423. Make sure that this is working well. If you cannot find it closely or you cannot adjust it well, what you're going to do is just zoom in a bit more. There we go. There we go, 423. Then what I'm going to do is going to be putting in a box. I'm going to go off to elements From Elements I'm going to do is find in a shape, the shape is going to be a square. I'm going to do is just click on the square shape, click on it until it appears up on your work space. And then after it appears up, we're going to do is make sure that it aligns it perfectly. Is going to be taking this element over here. I'm going to do, take it at the top. Perfect I'm going to do is make sure that it is up to this line o I'm going to do is just fix it back again. I'm going to do is make sure that this is on 423. There go perfect. 423. And then I'm going to do is going to be increasing the size of all of this. Okay, I'm going to do is make sure that it reaches up to the end of both sides there. Then I'm going to do is right click on it. Or you can click on Position and then keep it at the center. Or a middle option appears up. If you are using this, you can see this middle. There we go, perfect. And I'm going to do is going to be taking this line right over here until it adds up to this one. And I'm going to do is take another line and I'm going to make sure that it touches up this corner. And I'm going to do is change the color a bit so that it is a bit visible. Or you can also change the transparency, which also looks good. Sometimes I'm going to do, just click on this and change the transparency to this one. There we go. Now we can see the border, the boundaries and also how it actually works on both sides. Now I'm going to do is going to be basically the area which you can see at the center, or this line over here is called the safe area for your PC, just like I've shown you on Google Chrome. And this is the specific area, but it will not be visible. Or if you apply the whole thing or apply the whole graphic in this whole area, it will not be visible on your phone or other devices too, because this is only the safe area for your PC. But to make the safe area for your mobile, what you have to do is going to be a whole different size. So I'm going to do is also show you how you can make the size for the safest area, or the safe area for all devices. So first thing first, what we're going to do is going to be like starting from this landscape or let's say horizontal scale. And I'm going to do is also pull this up to up to 15, 46 I'm going to do is just go off over here. I'm going to type or just get it over to 15, 46 perfect. And then what I'm going to do is going to be reducing the size from over here up to this line. And then I'm going to do is right click on it. And then I'm going to do is go off the layers or align to page. I'm going to do is keep it at the center, but I'm going to do is just go off the position over here position. And I'm also going to be putting this at the middle. You can see this is already at the middle. So I'm going to do is just take it at the center. So there we go. We have the safe area for, you know, all devices to make sure to put another line right over here on this border. Now, there we go. We have the safe area for all devices, this specific area. Okay? Now what I'm going to do is going to be removing these boxes because we're not going to be needing that anymore. And there we go, we have our safe area for our, you know, Youtube cover photo. Now you can use the whole thing too and also use this specific area two. And also if you want it for your TV, you can just apply the whole thing on this whole panel or this page which you see over here. As we are done with this safe area. Let's start off with applying our elements and graphic inside of our cover photo. First off, select what type of cover photo you want. So the first cover photo which I'm going to be applying is going to be off my brand. So I'm going to do, first off, start with the text and then I'm going to do apply the background. Okay, Let's just start off applying the background first. So the first thing I'm going to do is go off on color. Or maybe if you want any specific elements I'm going to do just type in dark background and on enter. And then you'll obviously see like graphics photos. Whichever one you want to use, it's just up to you. I'm going to go off the photos and find something which will actually look good. Nothing too complicated. I'm going to do is make sure to put something which is also good looking. So I'm going to do is put in something subble I'm going to do is just click on maybe the leaves or maybe something tech based. But I'm going to do is just use this one. Looks quite good, but even if it doesn't look good, make sure first stuff it loads up the whole resolution of the whole photo and then you can adjust it up. And then you can also use it whenever you want. And even if you don't want to use it, this click on delete there, Rico. It has been removed, so I'm going to do try using this. I'm going to do right click on it. Set image as background. There go, perfect. And this is the exact background which I want as we have our background. Now let's start, or let's start putting in our element. I'm going to do is go off the text first and then I'm going to do click on at a text box. I'm going to do is go down and then I'm going to do is use the same text, which I use most of the time, Golden hour. And this is going to be my text which is going to appear up on the center. I'm going to do is first off, remove this, there we go, to keep it at the center. Rico perfect. Select on Olive it similar type in Marino Perfect. So this is going to be my text and I'm going to just reduce the size a bit so that it just looks better and takes up less space. Okay? Okay, this is perfect. Then what I'm going to do is going to be putting in a couple more elements now based on your Youtube channel, what type of Youtube channel it is, I'm going to do is put in more contents of mine. So the first thing I'm going to do is going to be starting off with a couple of photo frames which I can apply. I'm going to do is go off to elements and I'm going to do is remove this. And then I'm going to do is go off to frames, from frames. What I'm going to do is going to be search for something which is going to be oval. Okay, I'm going to do go down, I'm going to find out something which will actually look good. You can also use try using different type of frames or try using different type of photos, which will actually make it look a lot better. From here I'm going to do is just use something like these, which are going to look like pebbles. I'm going to do is like this. There we go. I'm going to do is make sure that I'm going to do is press control Z, Perfect. Reduce the size of this jue. Make it over here. There we go. Perfect jue, reduce the size. Keep it at the center. Perfect three of the photos. Then I'm going to do is put a couple more photos over here. I'm going to do is just now very simple ones over here because obviously if you've applied a couple of different ones it also needs to look a bit subbleI'm do is just find out very simple ones which I can put or let's just try using this over here. I'm obviously going to put in a logo. I'm going to do, take this over here. I'm only going to be using two of them, so I'm going to do is just make another copy of this. You can also use it something like this shaped. Okay, perfect. There we go, Perfect. Okay, now I'm going to do is, okay, this one doesn't look that align. I'm going to do is just keep it where it is perfectly aligned. There we go. Okay, there we go. Now as I have these photo frames, I'm going to do is put in a couple more text underneath. I'm going to do is go off to the text and then I'm going to do is going to be using this one, which I use most of the time and it looks quite good. Now I have to search for a couple of photos now, instead of putting anything, I'm just going to type in your text here. Because I'm not going to be putting in any text over here. I'm going to do is just reduce the size and increase it over here. There we go. Perfect. At the center. Now I'm going to do is going to be searching for elements. Let's say I'm going to do is just use a couple of photos. Now you can also either upload your own photos from your device or you can also go off on Canvas resources, which is going to be the elements. And you can also search for the type of photos which you want to use'm. Going to do is going to be using a couple of product photos or maybe a couple of tech photos. I'm going to do is just type in a couple of tech devices on enter. And then I'm going to do is going to be going off the photos and apply whichever photo I want. Now the device photos are going to go over here and I'm going to do is apply different ones over here. I'm going to do is just go off the photos and then I'm going to do is going to be applying whatever element I want. Well, I'm going to do is just take this photo over here. Perfect. Do take this one over here. And I'm going to do is going to be taking this one over here. There we go. We have three of the photos. And then I'm going to do is going to be applying more elements over here and I want different ones. Okay. So I'm going to do is going to be putting in more elements. I'm going to do is going to be typing in. Tech Enter, go off the photos. You can also go off the graphics and apply those ones. But if you are using graphics, you will not be able to use the frames or you will not be able to use it directly. So I'm going to do is just go off the tech and I'm going to do is just apply the ones which I actually need. Obviously, just like I said, if you don't want to use them, you can upload it from your device too. If you want some online websites where you can download your resources from. I have a specific site which I most of the time use. In my previous lesson, I've already shown you where you can get those resources from. That's going to be Pexels.com There is also another one which is going to be Unsplash.com You can use these two sites which are basically royalty free. I'm going to just apply the photos which I like from over here. I'm going to use this, this, and also I'm going to take another one from over here. There we go. We have three of the photos. And there we go, we have our Youtube cover photo. Almost done now. As it is almost done now, you can apply more effects on it or you can also make it subble's going to be depending up to use. If you want to make it more clean, you want to make it more just simple. You can also do that. You can remove the type of frames you can see over here. Some going to do is just delete this. I'm going to keep two over here. Going to do is just take this and two of them, all of them are at the center or quite at the safest area over here, so you don't have to worry about anything being cut off. You can also take them like this. Lets just take this over here. I'm going to just take this over here. I'm going to just click on this and go off the position. Send it back. There we go. I can also remove them if you want to. And you can also apply in more text. That's going to be depending up to you how you want it or how you want to remove it. So I'm just going to do is use these two. Okay, I'm going to use these two and these two on these sides. Let me just take it. And you can also reduce the size. If you want to just take it over here, there we go, perfect. But what you have to think is that this whole area is also going to be visible when you open it up on your PC. So make sure to make it according to that. But if you want it to be bigger and if you want it to be looking a lot better, you can change the photos later on. And if you want to change the background, just click on it, right click on it and detest the image from background. And you'll be able to change it to whichever one you want. Let's say an aesthetic background or men type an aesthetic background on Enter and as it appears up, just go off the photos or graphics, use the one which you want. I'm going to do is just, there we go, just right click on it. Set images background, there we go. All of it has been applied. If you want to change the photos, what you're going to do is, let's say even though we have our text here, I'm going to do is just type in cosmetics because that just goes on with this background. I'm going to click on, go off the photos. And then I'm going to do is going to be changing the way all of these are over here. Take this over here. There we go. I'm going to do is use this over here, and then I'm going to do is maybe use them over here and also this one right over here. Perfect. See now, like how whichever idea you have, you can just directly apply it over here. Try it out and check if those actually work. If you want to apply directly on your Youtube, first thing what you have to do is just click on Share, click on download, and make sure to keep it on the highest resolution. You can see it over here if you want a transparent background. But basically you don't want to because if you use a transparent background, the background which you applied or the background photo which you applied is going to be removed and you will basically not see it when you downloaded. So make sure to keep it unchecked. You can just do whatever you want to over here, you can change it to PNG or JPG. But I would suggest you to use PNG because it is a lot better. And what you're going to do is just click on download. And after it has been downloaded, just go off to any website or any web browser, go off to Youtube and directly upload it on your channel of your Youtube. Now obviously there are also different type of templates or different type of prebuild teams, which you can also use to make your work a lot more easier. But I prefer, you know, making something from scratch which stays totally original. So if you want to start from scratch, that's also doable. But if you want to save your time, make sure defined at the one according to your niche or according to what you need or according to your channel. And then you can also apply changes on that specific pre built template. I hope you understood everything. Motion graphics ad design part 1: Welcome to another lesson of social media graphics designing. In this lesson, we're going to learn about motion graphic ad design. Now, this might be a bit complex, but if you follow up all the steps, you will basically find out that this is very simple. And obviously if you have a couple of ideas or you can just express your creativity through it. So without any further ado, let's just hop on the lesson by opening up Canva on our device. As we've opened up Canva on our device, the first thing we're going to do is going to be opening up the precept. Now in my previous lessons, I most of the time used pages, but in this lesson I'm going to be using a video type of precept. Okay, so the first thing I'm going to do is just search for video. You can just use whichever type of videos there are, but as discourse is about social media, so I'm going to do is type in Facebook video. Facebook video. And you're going to do wait until this one appears up ten 80 into ten 80. Then what you're going to do is just going to be clicking on this one Facebook video. Now, there are going to be a couple of video templates or pre built templates, which you will be able to use from. But if this is basically a page, do not use it. Make sure to use a video section because you'll be able or you have to apply a couple of graphical content in it. Because this lesson is about graphic motion graphics. So I'm going to do is going to be clicking on the blank workspace. And then as I have my blank workspace, all of the elements or all of the edits are going to go on the specific page or the specific panel. Now as we have our panel ready, what we're going to do is going to be searching for our background. Now as this video is going to be quite long, if it exceeds a certain limit, I'm going to be making two parts of this video stay tuned and also make sure not to skip any part as we have our section or as we have our page. Now the first thing I'm going to do is going to be searching for our background. For that, I'm going to go off the elements and then I'm going to do is search for the background. Now I need let's say a purple type of background. So I'm going to do type in purple background. There we go I'm going to do is hit on this purple background. And then I'm going to do go off to photos. Now you can also apply in graphics or background graphics, but I prefer using something which looks actually, which is going to be actually a photo. And I can use it. I'm going to do is just use this whole photo I'm going to do is just turn it into a background. There we go. Now as this has turned into a background, now I'm going to do, first off task the image, right click on it. I'm going to do is just change the transparency just a bit. There we go. Set images background now it is working a lot more better as we have our background, now as we have our background, then we're going to need a couple of elements which are going to go with this ad. Now, what type of ad do you want to make? Now I'm going to be making a sneaker ad. And also I'm going to do is apply in a couple of text too. And in the next page I'm going to be making another one, because that is going to be a lot simpler. But this one is going to be a genuine type of, let's say, motion graphic ad, which you can just publish it or upload it on your social media or even on Youtube app. Now the first thing I'm going to do is going to be searching for a sneaker. Now you can also upload it from your device, but I'm going to be using all the resources directly from Canva. So I'm going to do is search for a sneaker. Hit on Enter, there we go. And then I'm going to do is go off the photos and I'm going to do search for something which will actually look good with it. Now I'm going to do is going to be searching for maybe something from Ni key. Now this one looks quite good. I'm going to do, I can use that or I'm going to do if you want different ones, make sure to go through each and every one of them, find out the one which you like. Obviously, if you have it on your device, you can upload it up. I'm going to do is go up and I'm going to do is just use one of the Nike which I just saw. And then I'm going to do is upload it and remove the background and use it for this ad. So I'm going to just click on this one. And then I'm going to do, is going to be clicking on Edit Photo. And if I click on Edit The Photo, I'm going to do to remove the background of this whole thing or of this whole photo I'm going to do is click on BG Remover. And then I'm going to do is going to be wait until the background of this one has been removed. As this has been removed, I'm going to do increase the size of the Go. Perfect. This is the one which I need to do. Rotate it a bit more. There go. I'm going to do, make sure that this is at the center, so I'm going to click on Position. Click on middle, Go. Center. Perfect. So now we have our sneaker at the center. And then I'm going to do is going to be the next thing which I'm going to apply in couple off text after I put in a couple of texts. First off I'm going to do is apply a bit of effect on this photo because I want a bit of shadow to drop. So I'm going to do, click on this photo, click on Edit Photo. And I'm going to do is go off the shadow. Click on the Shadows option, and then you have this drop shadow. Click on it and then you'll be able to apply whichever type of shadow you want. Less use. Make sure to fix the size zero, fix in the blur amount, decrease, there we go. Or increase it a bit. Fixing the angles needed to be over here. The distance should be a bit more. There we go. It can change the color if you want to. From here. I want it to be, let's say, a bit darker blue. So I'm going to go off to blue. There we go. Here we go. We have a bit of tints on this color. You can fix in the intensity if you want to. You can see this over here. There we go. Looks a lot more better now as we have this shadow. And then I'm going to do is going to go back and then I'm going to do whatever effect you want to apply or whatever element you want to apply. You can do that. I'm going to do is going to be increasing the size a bit more. There we go. We have this over here. I'm going to do is just click on Position Sensor, Align it perfect. So as we have its center aligned, I'm going to just click on this again. Click on Edit Photo, I'm going to do, make sure that this one is a bit on the left side so that the shadow actually looks natural. So I'm going to just fix in the angle. Here we go, Perfect. At the center and at the middle. Then the next one I'm going to do is go off to text. Now from text I'm going to do is put in type of text, which I want to do. First off, click on at a textbox. Going to do is going to be putting in their motto in just I'm going to increase the size, increase it until it is quite visible. And then go off to the font section and select whichever style you want to use. You can either type it, but I'm going to do is going to be going around like searching for something which will actually look good. With this I'm going to do is going to be clicking on school or Funky. If I want something from school, I'm going to do is just select the one which I want. Let's say I want this. There we go. I'm going to do is go a bit more down and I'm going to maybe use this or this one. There we go, until it has been applied. There we go, perfect, increase the size. And then I'm going to do is go off effect. And I'm going to do is going to be applying in a bit of echo. There we go. We have this echo effect on this. Just I'm going to do change the color of this text. I'm going to do. Make sure to keep it, let's mad. Put it to be white, perfect. I can also change it to maybe something like this or this, or this. There we go. I can also change the color of this shoe. If you want to change the color of this, you can also do that. You can click on Edit the Photo. Then what you're going to do is just go off to a couple of softwors, which you will find out over here. You can see it over here. And you can also change the color of this into something different by going off to adjust. And if you go off adjust, there will be this section called the hue, the tint, and all of those. You can select the color option, you can see it over here. You'll be able to change the color of how it actually looks like. You can see the vibrant, the sharpness, vignette, clarity, and all of them. Now from here, you will be able to fix in the tint too. So you can change this how it looks like. You can see this over here, you can see the temperature. It's all up to you how you're going to work with the academy juice. Just keep it at the center. If you want more effect, apply just go off the effects go after the new editor or old editor. You can see it over here that this is the new editor. But you can just go off to the old editor. You can select on this, take me to the old editor, and it will take you directly off to the old editor. But what you have to do is just click on it again and then click on Edits Image, then remove the background. You can see BG Remover. Click on that one, and it will take a bit of time to process up the photo and remove the background. And then you'll be able to apply in whatever effect you are going to apply over here. First off, make sure that you are connected to the internet. So click on it. Again, I can see the background has been removed, but I'm going to just click on Apply the Co. And I'm going to do is going to be applying up the shadow again because when you are going off from the new editor to the old editor, the background is going to be removed. Also the different type of effect you apply on it. So I'm going to just click on Drop again. And then I'm going to do wait until the drop shadow has appeared up. I'm going to do is going to be applying the same effect which I did, that I'm going to do is going to be fixing in the offset. Fixing in the angle. Make sure, elect that, there we go, reduce it to keep it four or maybe three. Fixing the angle. There we go. Keep it over here. Minus one is perfect. Fixing the transparency. Reduce it. It looks faded. Fix in the blur. There we go. Make sure to increase the transparency a bit more. That I'm is going to be fixing the offset a bit more. Fix in bottom right, I'm going to click on bottom left. Fix it up, one, two, up to three, four. At least it looks visible. Bottom left. There we go. I'm going to do is change it to the left side. Let's try the left side. Let's try the bottom left, which is like totally perfect. I'm going to just put it bottom over here. There we go. We have it. I'm going to do is just change it to whatever color I applied over here, which was going to be a bit darker blue. And we have the tint a bit going to do. Make sure to apply a bit more blur. Fixing the transparency a bit more. There we go, Perfect, increase the blur I'm going to do is click on Apply. Here we go, we have the design. Or here we have the photo. Now I'm going to do is go off the duo tone and you can apply in different type of effect on, you can see the violet, you can see the other ones. But if you want something like classy like this, you can also apply it. It will make it like monochrome or black and white. Make sure to apply whichever effect you want. And there are also other effects which you will be able to apply. But one thing about this is that when you apply the effect, it will turn into like a whole photo. Then you have to remove the background again and then you have to work with it again. I do not suggest using these filters on this old editor of this Canva. I'm going to do is just click on Cancel. And I'm going to keep it just the way it was blue. I'm going to do is just click on Position again. And then I'm going to do is going to be keeping it the middle, center, perfect. Increase the size. There we go, Center, middle. Then from here I'm going to do keep it over here. And you can also change the font if you want to. Some going to do is just search for more fonts if there is anything good, if you don't like it, obviously there are a couple of categories which you can select from their headings. They're rounded, elegant, bold, then is going to be searching for something funky or geometric. Now if I don't find anything good over here, I'm going to do is just go off the geometric, which is going to give me something. What goes with Nike type of advertisements to do is just go off the geometric. I'm just go over there, open up this one. Then from here I'm going to do is just find out the one which I want some do. Try this. There we go. Do go down a bit more I'm going to do is maybe find something a bit more better. There we go, we have it. I'm going to do is use this. There we go, Totally perfect. As I have this, I'm going to do is change it, or change the color to be a bit darker, there we go. Or you can also keep it a bit lighter so that it is a bit more visible. I'm going to do is going to be changing the color back again to something white, just the way it was. Or you can also use this, this one. Which, whichever looks better, o' going to just use this. Okay, totally perfect. I'm going to do is going to be clicking on Position. And then I'm going to do Send back. There we go. I'm going to do increase the size a bit more so that it is totally visible. Here we go, I'm going to do make another copy of this. There we go. Over here I'm going to do is going to be piping in it to reduce the size until that actually adds up to this one. Reduce it a bit more. There we go. Then I'm going to do is going to be clicking on this again. And I'm going to do is make another copy. Then what I'm going to do is going to go off Effects. And then I want a hollow effect. I'm going to do is change this hollow effect into white. Do change it to white, perfect. Take it over on this one. I want a bit of this effect over here. Then I'm going to do is going to be increasing to decrease this effect. I'm going to go off effect to reduce the thickness. There we go. And then I'm going to do is going to be taking this at the top. I'm going to go off the position, go off the layers. You can just directly do it to take it at the top. Just do it perfect. Now as I have my text and my model I'm going to do is going to be taking all of them and turning it into a group. But if it doesn't work that bad or work that good, what you can do obviously, is undo it. But you can see that looks totally perfect. Then I'm going to do is going to be taking this and I'm going to do align the page at the center. Perfect. Now the next thing what I'm going to do is going to be putting in the graphic which I actually need. Before that I'm going to do is put in another text box. And from here I'm going to do type in www.abc.com I'm going to do increase the size. Just put it over here at the top. And then I'm going to do is going to be putting in the graphic content. Now the graphic content or the graphic motion, which is going to make this lesson the way it stands, which is going to be motion graphics. I'm going to do is type in something very simple, which is going to be, let's say I'm going to do is type in hand draw it on. I'm going to do is go off to motion graphics, which you'll be able to find it over here. I'm going to do is just go off the videos. You'll be, you can just find it over here. And you can also go off to graphics over here. And you can find out the ones, you can see motion graphics. You'll be able to find them. Even if you don't find them, you can just go off to videos and then you'll be able to find out a couple of motion graphics, which you will find out over here on Canva. Now if you don't find it over here, what you're going to do is just search in for moving lines. Cut this off, type in moving lines it on Enter and then go off to graphics. And then find out the actual one which you want to use. I'm going to do is just go off the graphics. I'm going to do is click on Graphics. And from here I'm going to do is use the ones which we actually need or want. You can see this one is looking quite good. And then we're going to do is also find out a couple of other ones which will actually look good. You can see this is the one. And there are going to be a couple of other ones. Let's say there's this one and other ones, obviously from here I'm going to do, just show you a couple of them on how this actually look like, so mad is going to be taking this one. There we go. Let's try it out. D apply this effect over here. You can see then I'm going to do is going to be, first off which we have it grouped up over here. I'm going to do ungroup it for a certain reason, sod hit on its group. There we go, I'm going to do is go off the position I'm going to do, make sure all of them are ungrouped. You can see all of them are ungrouped. And then what I'm going to do is going to be clicking on this one. Take it right over here. There we go. First off, like fixing the transparency, Reduce it just a bit. I'm going to do is make sure that this is underneath this shape. There we go. If you want to take it a bit more down, you can also do that. It's also up to you, but if you don't like it, you can also discard it. You can also change in the transparency so that it doesn't look that bad or look that overwhelming. I'm going to do is just remove this for a while and then I'm going to do is maybe like apply in a different one. Let's just try deleting it off the elements. Search for the moving lines again. Enter and then I'm going to do is going to be going off the graphics and let's find out like smaller ones or smaller lines which will actually make it look better. Let's just hop onto Canva and start editing our design. As you can see that in our first part of this lesson, I've shown you how you'll be able to make something like this. In this one I'm going to be using just a specific brand or a brand logo and show you how you'll be able to do that. Let's just hop onto this one and let's just start off applying our elements. First things first I'm going to do is make sure to change my background color of the page. Now for this one I'm going to do is just use this or maybe use something black or not black. I'm going to do is just keep it something subple like this, something like gray. Okay, I'm going to do is just go off to this page over here. And then what I'm going to be doing is going to be putting in the elements or putting in the graphic. Now if you want to make up your own graphic, that's also fine. If you have something on your device, you can upload it. But I'm going to do is just type in for something less I'm going to do is type in Nike it on enter, just search for ni ke logo, go off the graphics and then find out the one which you want to use. Just go off the graphics. And then from here you will be able to find out a couple of the ones. But if you don't have the specific one, you can obviously go off to any of your web browser and download it up. But if you see it over here, let's just go off the photos. And for photos I'm going to do is just search for something which will be actually good. And from here I can either take this, but I'm going to do is go down and search for it a bit more. And if I don't find it, what I'm going to do is just go off, you know, or I have applied, you know, one photo or you know, one resource resource in resource file of this course. You can also use them if you want to. So the first thing I'm going to do is just go off uploads and I'm going to do this first off, if you want to download any of them, I've already told you where you can get that, which is going to be Pixales.com orso Splash.com From here I'm going to click on upload file. From here I have this Nike log. I'm going to do is just click on Open. From here, what I'm going to do is just apply it directly. I'm going to do change how this looks like. I'm going to do is use the one which I've used. You can see the barn over here. But I'm going to do is go off the effects I'm going to do is make sure to put in a bit of shadow or maybe a bit of lift on it. Or you can also use the same thing which I've used, which is going to be Echo. I'm going to do, put this right underneath. Make sure to put it at the center. There we go. As I've put in this one, I can also change the font. So let's just try changing the font. If you find something better, you can obviously do that. I'm going to do is go back and I'm going to do is going to be searching for something corporate. Now I'm going to do is try this one. There we go. It has been applied, but it doesn't look that good. Maybe go back a bit more and I'm going to do is going to be clicking on Display, Anything which looks good with the display fonts. Now I'm going to do is going to be findings. To type in moving lines. Then after the text has been applied, what you're going to do is just search it on Enter, then go off the graphics, which you have seen like over here on this graphics. And then I'm going to do is going to be finding out the one which I want to use. Let's say from here I'm going to do is maybe use this one. The Rico looks quite good but you can also use different type of ones. Do just try using it. Can see this one doesn't look that bad. I'm going to do is take this at the bottom, click on position, Take this at the bottom. There we go. F it doesn't look that good. I'm going to do is just go off the elements again. And then I'm going to do is going to be searching for another one. Let's type in this moving lines. You can also select it from over here. I'm going to do is just select this one, go off the graphics. Then I'm going to do is going to be finding out something which will look like a splash of color. I'm going to do is just keep going down and find out the one which I want to use. If I can't find it, I'm going to do just use something which I find over here. Now this one doesn't look that bad either. I'm going to do is go a bit more down and find out the one can see from over here that there are a couple of these ones. I'm going to just try using those. I'm going to just click on this one. There we go. Take this one over here. I'm going to take this one at the back to be removed. I'm going to do is rotate it a bit, corner it. I'm going to increase the size. There we go. And there are a couple of other ones too, such as abstract lines and also different ones. But I'm going to do use similar or something related to this one, which is going to be somewhere over here. There we go. Do also apply this one. There we go. I'm also going to increase the size and then I'm going to do is go off the position and position it. Well, I'm going to do is keep them underneath it. I'm going to do take it underneath there, Go. I'm going to do is just keep it underneath this one. But I want this to be at the top. There go. I'm, I'm to reduce the transparency. Take this one and I'm also going to be reducing the transparency just a bit perfect. We have two of them to be motion graphics. You can also use different type of motion if you want to. You can also make copies of these motions. Now let's try seeing this one. The first one over here, you can see this is how it looks like when anyone opens it up. The next one which you have over here with just the logo is this one, and this is how it looks like. Now the other thing which you're going to do is just click on them. I'm going to select on these, I'm going to select them. Just go off the position, like click on over here, go off the layers. And then you're going to do is select all of them. Then we're going to do is just group all of them up. There we go, center. But even though this is a bit bigger, this is how it is looking like I'm going to do. Just keep it at the center. Okay, I'm going to do, take it a bit at the top. There we go. Perfect. We have two of these motion ads which you can use for any of your social media. And also you can apply more elements to it. And also you can change the color if you want to customize it just the way you want to and even just advertise it as a template. In this lesson we're going to learn about how we can make an animated social media post. If you've seen my previous lesson where we made an animated, our motion graphic ad design. In this lesson we are going to be making something really similar to it, but it's going to be a presentation. Or it's going to be a post instead of a video without any further ado. Let's just open up Canva on our device and start on with our lesson as we've opened up Canva on our device. Now as the title we are going to be making animated social media post. So the first thing we have to do is going to be selecting the preset. Now there are a couple of presets when it comes to social media, we can either use Instagram presets, or we can also use Facebook presets. And also there are different ones. So for this one I'm going to be using an Instagram post. Now, you can also use a Facebook post that is also going to be the same, which is going to be ten 80 into ten 80. Or you can also use a bigger one. It's totally up to you, but I'm going to be using something square. So you can see ten 80 into ten 80 fits perfect. So I going to do is click on this one. And obviously if you want to open it up with the custom size, you can also do that. It will give you the same type of interface and also the work space. Now as I've opened up this workspace for me, the next thing I'm going to be doing is going to be applying the background. Now before getting into the background, what I'm going to be doing is going to be, you know, just I'm going to head straight into the design. Now, first off, you have to think about what type of design do you want to use? Now you can also apply these ones which are already pretty built ones. And I'm going to be following a specific type of design which I most of the time use. And you can just use your idea and creativity to make your own ones. But as this is going to be a bit graphic related, you can see this one is graphic related. This one is also graphic related. This one is also graphic related. Somehow you can see the ones, these are like graphic related. I also want something which is going to be a bit graphic related, but I don't want it to be a total video. Okay, so the first thing what I'm going to be doing over here is going to be taking in the elements. First off I'm going to do is go off the elements and then I'm going to do is first off, search for frames. Now, one thing about this lesson that I'm not editing or putting in my background color or what type of element I'm going to use first. Okay, it's because I need to put the photo first. And according to the photo, I'm going to use the color piette or use the color theme first I'm going to do is search on over here. Let's say I'm going to do is search for tropical it. On enter I'm going to do is go off to photos. From photos I'm going to do is search for something which I will be able to use. Now I'm going to do is I'm going to do use this. First off, I need this photo over here. There we go. Then I just took this photo over here and now I can also take the shape. I'm going to do is first off, instead of taking the shape, I'm going to do is take a frame so that I can put the frame, or put the photo on the frame. I'm going to go down and go off to frames over here. Make sure to use the free size so that you will be able to use it however you want to. So from here what I'm going to be doing is going to be increasing the size. There we go. Now you can see that all of it has increased up to here. But I'm going to do is reduce the size on this one. There we go. I'm going to do is make this photo to be a bit bigger than that one. So I'm going to do is take this. Now one thing is that you'll be able to customize this the way you want to. And one of the facts, or one of the tip about, you know, managing or arranging your photo, is that what I did in my previous lesson, is that I clicked on it, click on edited photo and then, you know, cropped it up or you know, arrange it up. But another hack about this is when you double click on it, you'll basically see the same photo management, same photo arrangement will also appear just like this. Now you'll be able to arrange it just the way you want to. Now I'm going to do is reduce this over here to increase the size. There we go, perfect. I'm going to do is hit on done. And you can see now this is a lot more better now as I have this tropical type of vibe to it. So I'm going to be applying or I'm going to be making something totally tropical. I'm going to first off click on this background and then I'm going to do is change the color according to this background. Let's say from here I'm going to do use this. Or maybe something dark or maybe something light. It's all up to you. So I'm going to do is use something like this olive color now as I have this background color too. And then I'm going to do is put in the elements or more element, just like I said. Okay, So I'm going to do is go off over here and then I'm going to do is type in moving shapes. Moving shapes it on enter. I'm going to go off the graphics and then is going to be searching out for the one which is going to be looking good. I can see from over here that there are a couple of shapes which are looking quite good. But from here I'm going to do is find out something where I can put in maybe, let's say put in a couple of text, it will also look good. From here I'm going to do is either something dish, you can see something like this or maybe something like this. Okay, I'm going to just find out the one which I want to use. You can see this one. I'm going to go up over here. And then from here I'm going to select on something. I'm going to just right click on it. And I'm going to maybe find something related to it if there's none. So going to do, just keep it over here. Now let's just search for animated shapes. Instead of moving shapes, I'm going to type in animated. Just type in animated shapes. There we go. I'm going to do hit on it and go off to graphics. And then from there I'm going to do search for something or find something which will actually look good according, or which is going to sync to this whole photo and this design. From here I'm going to do search for something. Let's say this one looks quite good. I'm going to do is just apply it or maybe use this, okay? This one looks a lot more better either. I'm going to try both of them and then let's see which one looks better. I'm going to do is use this. Circle looks a lot more better. But even if you want to use whichever shape you want, you can also use this or that one. It's totally up to you. I'm going to do is use this circle over here. And I'm going to do is put it here. I'm going to do increase the size so that it fits up right over here, perfectly. There we go. Now I'm going to do is going to be putting in my text over here. I'm going to do is click on Text. And then I'm going to do is going to be using the same text, which I use most of the time, which is going to be golden hour. And then I'm going to do is change the color so that it looks a lot more better. I can also use different ones. Okay, Let's say I'm going to do is use a different one. For this one I'm going to click on this one. And then I'm going to do is put in the text, which I have to put. Instead of that I'm going to do is type in, let's say from here I'm going to type in no. I'm going to do is type in this text over here, there we go. I'm going to do reduce the size. Go off to effects. And that I'm going to do is going to be changing the color of this. I'm going to do is change it to something which actually looks good with this yellow. Or maybe according to this palette over here, which I have. There we go, totally perfect. I'm going to do is take this right over here. Perfect at the center. And then I'm going to do is going to be putting in a couple of other elements which I'm going to be putting over here. I'm going to do is going to be clicking on at a text box. And then I'm going to do is going to be selecting on this text. I'm going to do is type in book yourself. There we go. Book yourself a paradise. That's what the motto I'm going to do is reduce it. I'm just going to do is select the whole thing. Reduce it altogether. Type in, let's say 50. There we go. I may be a bit less than this one there. Perfect. Do take it underneath over here to reduce the size. Just like this I'm going to do is just make some space over here. There go. I'm going to do is keep it at the center. Perfect. Now from here I'm going to do is put in a couple more elements. I'm going to do is put in another frame and then another photo. I'm going to go off the elements again. I'm going to do, just cut this off. Then I'm going to do is going to be putting in another frame like this one recently used. I'm just going to do is click on this photo or click on this element, which you see over here. If the frame doesn't open up, what we're going to do is going to be applying another one. So to do is going to be reducing the size of this one. We can also make the copy of this. But I would rather do this and select it and open it up and then apply the photo again. Some to do is going to be reducing the size and putting it up on a specific place. I'm going to do is just reduce it until I actually get to the size I need. I'm going to do go effect to just click on lift. Here we go, do six myself. A bit of intensity. Here we go. Looks a lot better. I'm going to do is copy this, but instead of that, I want a different type of font. What I'm going to be doing is going to be putting in a bit of text over here. From here I'm going to do is just select whichever one I want. Let's see, I'm going to do is click on this. There we go. As I click on that, I'm going to do is just paste it right over here. I'm going to do, I'll just keep it like this. I'm going to do is reduce the size. I'm going to do is just take it right over here. And I'm going to do reduce the size. I'm going to do is also apply in effect, click on Lift, increase it up. There go. Totally perfect. Pinterest post design: Welcome to a new lesson of social media graphics designing. In this lesson, we're going to learn about how we can make a Pinterest post design by using Canva without any further ado. Let's just hop onto the lesson by opening up Canva on our device. As we have opened up Canva on our device, the first thing we're going to be doing is going to be selecting the preset, the size. Now from here you might find out the Pinterest preset. You will find it obviously over here, but if you can't find it over here, you can just search it over here. Type in Pinterest. And then it will open up this Pinterest pin, which is going to be the size of 1,000 into 1,500 pixels. Now, there are also two methods of making your Pinterest design, or let's say the Pin. Now there are also suggested templates, which it will also show you if you want to see a couple of templates which you want to work on to save a lot of time, you can just click on these template settings or a couple of templates, which you'll find out over here. You'll be able to find out the one which you want according to the category of Pin that you want to upload. Now there are like a lot of them. Select the one which you want and just click on any one of them. Click on this, customize this template and you'll be able to work on with it. But obviously if you don't want to use any template, you have this option of, you know, making a blank one. So you have to either click on the blank one or you can just go off to create a design from here. What you're going to do is type Invterest. Then it will show you the pintrest pin. You can see 11,500 and there's also a different resolution, which is going to be ten, 80 in 1920. But I'm going to suggest you to use 11,500 pick cells because it just gives you a better type of, let's say the templates which you can see over here, all of them are 11,500 pick cells. And the other method of doing it is also obviously going to be clicking on Custom Size Type in 1,000 in width and 1,500 in height. And then just click on Create a New Design. And it will open up the work space for you where you will be able to edit up all the elements or, you know, make up your own pin. So as we have our pin over here, now the next thing what we're going to be doing is going to be following up a couple of steps. And obviously, if you already clicked on or selected any one of the presets, you can just continue doing that. It's totally fine, but make sure to put in your content. And another thing is that it also is totally similar, or the preset is totally similar to brochure and also a couple of posters. Just find out the templates if you want to find it out from this blank presentation over here. The next thing what you're going to do is going to be changing the background or changing the way it looks like. Now in this lesson, I'm going to be showing you a couple of different methods of how you'll be able to do it. It could either be graphical, it could either be plain, it could either be just text, It's totally fine. But the first thing we're going to do is going to be finding out a background. Now, I don't want to use any background to be totally solid, so I'm going to do is use any of the photo. If I need any of the photo I'm going to do is go off to elements. And from here I'm going to do is just let's, I'm going to do is type in aesthetic. I'm going to do type in aesthetic background. What I'm going to do is go off the photos and I'm going to do is find out the one which I want to use. Now from here I'm going to do is fine, say I'm going to go down a bit more. I need something portrayed or I can also use this. This also looks quite good, so I'm going to do is just use this and then I'm going to do right click on it and then click on Set Images Background. I'm going to double click on it so that I will be able to edit the photo and position it the way I want to. There we go. Perfect. I'm going to do is hit on Enter. There we go. Looking a lot better. Now, the next thing I'm going to be doing is going to be putting in the content in a specific place. Obviously, I have the background now, it looks quite good. And one thing you have to keep in mind is that whatever you do, make sure the color synchronizes with each other and also pops up. Well, I'm going to do is make sure to keep a bit on the right side. There we go. Looking a lot better. Here we go, on the right side. And then I'm going to do is going to be putting in this text or putting in the box over here. And the box is going to be of this color, which is going to be looking a bit different than the green which we are seeing on the whole page. I'm going to do is click on the Elements again. And I'm going to go is go off the Shape. There we go. And then what I'm going to be doing is going to, first off, you have to keep it at the center. Alignment plays a very important role in a pin. And even all of the designs are all of graphic designing. If you want to keep it at the center and at the middle, the easiest method is going to be rec clicking on it. Go off Align to page. Click on Center, click on Middle, and it will be at the center and middle. But it is already at the center and middle, so I'm not going to be doing anything. So the first thing I'm going to be doing is going to be increasing the size de Rico. I'm going to make a size which will look a lot better de Rico. That is the size I need. Then I'm going to do is going to be aligning it. Okay. First I'm going to reduce it just a bit. Right click on it. I may be increase it just a bit more. Perfect. We have to align the page center, right click and at the middle, there we go. Totally perfect. I'm going to use right click on it. Go off the color. From here I'm going to do is going to be using this Picker tool over here. And then from here I'm going to select on this color. Here we go, looking a lot better. And if it doesn't look that good, you can obviously use transparency or change the color whenever you want. I'm going to do is make sure to use a different one, Senatus. Click on this option, I'm going to do is make it a bit lighter. I'm going to do is find a lighter one over here. There we go. Find out the pixel which you want to use, Sema, Use this. There we go, perfect. And then I'm going to do is going to be right clicking on its position. There we go. So this is basically what I needed to put in my text as we have it at the center and middle. It will look a lot better when it is aligned perfectly. Now directly from Canva. I'm going to go off to this text option as we have our box and also our background. Now the next thing is going to be putting in the type of text which I want to use. What I'm going to be doing is going to be finding out something which will actually look good with it. Now you can also apply different type of effects on it. You have this text option. Now there are also animates. And also like other tools which you'll find over here, you can also go off the shapes and change the shape type. But I'm going to do is just go off directly to the text. And then from here there are a couple of texts which you can find out and a couple of texts which you will be able to use it directly, which will work as a pre built form. So from here you can either use them or you can also make one on your own most of the time. If I want to save up time, I just click on any one of these. And then you know, it just appears up on this text box, so you can use them. So what I'm going to be doing is going to be making one directly from scratch. So what I'm going to do is going to be clicking on at a textbox, or you can also click on this at a headline, okay, Heading. So from here you can also add a heading, or you can also use a subheading. It's like totally up to you. And the one which you see over here, this is just a brand kit. So I'm going to do is just click on at a text box. So as we have our text box, I'm going to do increase the size. Now one thing we're going to do is follow over here is going to be making sure that the text is not, like, totally close to the box. Because it just looks a lot more better if your text has a bit more breathing space. So first thing I'm going to do is click on this text over here, Go off to this font option. And I want something which will look good with it. So you can either use display. I'm going to do is use handwriting. So what I'm going to do is just go down and find out the one which I want to use. You can see porcelain. You can see this looks quite good. But I'm going to do is need something to be a bit bigger and look good. So let's try this bloom skirt. Not bad. So I'm going to do is just use this over here. So the first thing I'm going to do is going to be, depending on what you want it to be, the heading like I'm going to do is just increase the size a bit more. Click on its align, it's at the center Click, right click on it again, at the middle there, co I'm going to increase the size a bit more. And then I'm going to put in the text, let's say I'm going to type in how to, there we go, how to increase. Then I'm going to put in more text over here and I'm going to just right click on it again. And then you can also apply in effect if you want to. There are also other tools. Let's, I'm going to make sure all of the marker case or lower case, it's all up to you. Now, this is what I want I'm going to do, make another copy of this down over here. But then I'm going to do is going to be how to, let's say reaches some type in interest. Make sure that this is on the second line. I'm going to make sure that this text over here is big enough to fit on this whole area, on the width. So keep increasing it until it reaches up to the, quite the corner, not the whole corner. How to increase this is how it will look like. There we go. Tiktok video edit: Welcome to our new lesson of social media graphics designing. In this lesson, we're going to learn about how we can make a Tiktok video design using Canva without any further ado. Let's just hop onto the lesson by opening up Canva on our device as we've opened up Canva. Now the first thing we're going to do is going to be searching out for our precept. Now from here, what we're going to do is going to be Tiktok. What I'm going to do is just search in for Tiktok. And if you don't find it over here, make sure to just make up your own one. But there's going to be a specific size. And I'm also going to be showing it to you in our previous lesson if you've seen them. So you'll already know that if we use a mobile video preset, it will also be able, or you will also be able to use it for the Tiktok videos. So the first thing I'm going to be doing is going to be go on create a design. And then from here you're going to do search in for mobile video. And when you type in mobile video, it will open up ten, 80 in a 90, 20. So first thing you're going to do is just click on this one. And there we go. Our preset or our panel is already prepare. Now there are a couple of the videos which you'll be able to select from as a preset or as a template. So these are also usable. Find out you're one which you want to use now from here you can use them if you want to, based on the category of video you want to make. But in this lesson, I'm going to be showing you a very trendy type of Tiktok video, which you can make directly on Canva and make sure to secure this size or this resolution because you can use it on all panels. But as this is going to be Tiktok video, it needs to be of the specific size. So what I'm going to be doing first is going to be selecting what type of video I want. Now I'm going to do is use a lot of photos so that I can make the trendy video. So first things first I'm going to do is reduce the size. And then I'm going to go off the elements. And from here I'm going to do is put in a couple of photos. From here I'm going to do is take in mobile photos. Hit on enter, go off the photos. And then I'm going to do is going to be searching out for a portrait. So I'm going to right click on it. I'm going to do, just click on see more like photos like this from here. I'm going to do, just go back if there is any. I'm going to do take this click. I'm going to do set images background go. We have our first photo and then I'm going to do is just go down and find out more. Right click on this set images Background, top, click there we go. Centered just more over here. Right click background. We can see that the resolution is really low. I'm just delete this. Just go down and find different ones. Set. Go a bit more down. Right click background. Take this over here. I'm going to make our use a couple more of them. Click on this one, right click, Set Images Background. There we go, Perfect. Make more of them. Keep making like 12, 13 of them. And then I'm going to do is going to be applying the audio and also the effect which I want to apply I'm going to do is just go down over here. Right click, there we go, to just go a bit more down. Right click back, there we go. Perfect. I'm going to go a bit more down over here. Background. Keep going down and find out the photos which you want to use. Lets use this said images background then is going to be applying three more of these photos. Just click on this background there. Go do use two more. Apply this and then I'm going to do apply the last one from here, which is going to be this one. Okay, I'm going to do to remove this first, apply a new page. Click, there we go. Perfect as we have all of these. And then I'm going to do, the last thing is going to be applying the effect, okay? We have like 123, 456-789-1011 12. Okay. Let's just apply three more of them so that it just adds up to 15. Three more over here. Apply this, click Background There we go. And that I'm going to do is apply. Another one I'm going to do is use this. Click Background. The last one over here, Background. There we go. If the resolution is not okay, you can change it as we have all of them over here. Just click on Duration. There we go, Right click on it. Then you'll be able to put in the duration over here. I'm going to make sure that all of them are of 3 seconds. I'm going to just take them to three over here, each and every one of them. Just drag it like this on all of them. There we go, 3.0 higher, nothing lower. 3 seconds, right, there we go. It's totally up to you whichever one you want to use, time it is, it's going to take less space or less time to transit into the next photo and also add up to the video. Now what I'm going to be doing is going to be searching out for an audio and also the effects, which is going to be the transitions. You can see this over here, the change, and then over here. But one thing is that it's not that smooth. To make it smooth, what we're going to do is going to be taking this on the corner, or click on this. You're going to do is just click on Animate. Click on Animates, and then find out the one which you want to use. Let's see how it looks like when it moves onto this one, to this one. Do select on this. Let's go to Do Type in Sleek. Or Put in Sleek. Let's try this out. This is how it would look like. You can see how it would look like. Basically, you can also add in the transition over here, click on at transition, you can see dissolve. You can also use slide, circle, wipe color, wipe line, wipe, stack, flow. Also watch and move. And also the last one which is chop from here, I most of the time use flow because it just makes it look a lot better. You can fix on the duration, how it will look like, and also the direction from where it will flow. So what we're going to do is just click on this and you can apply between all pages. All the pages have the same transition now, but if you want a different transition just click on it. And then if you want a different wall of set want stack over here and over here I want maybe a color wipe. And on here I want maybe a circle wipe. To do, just click on this color wipe again. And you can also use colors. Which type of color you want to use? Let's say I want a bit of yellow to over here. I want maybe a bit of, let's say green. There we go. Now let's play it up from the beginning. Obviously it needs a bit of text too. So I'm going to do is also going to apply a bit of text. If you want to edit your photo, you can also do that. The first thing I'm going to do is going to be going off over here. The first click on Text and then I'm going to do is going to be applying a text. Now from here what I want it to be is going to be clicking on this. Brave I'm going to do is going to be clicking on this one, selecting on all of them. Control A, I'm going to select this white. There we go. Juice, keep it over here. And then what I want it is to be visible on all of them. Just click on this send, and you can see that this is only on this one. But what happens is that what if I want it to be on all of them? Some, just click on this, Select all of them. Now you can also paste it wherever I want. Just click copy and paste it over here. Then I'm going to do is going to be going out over here, There we go. All of them is perfect. And then if you want to like make changes on this audio, you can write, click on it, click on volume. You can fix in the volume, let's say I'm going to do is just keep it somewhere around 50 and then I'm going to do is just try playing it there. If you want to change it or change the audio, you can beat the sync. Let's say sync a bit. You can just click on this option if you have, can both. Well, you'll be able to use this and I'm going to just click on Sync now. And you can see all of them are now synced up according to the beats. To just press this, there go see the beats are going to make the transition. This just makes it look a lot more better when you sync it up. And if you have like canvas, it just is a lot better. Okay. You can also make a couple of other changes. Let, I'm going to du, right click on it. You can see the audio effects. You can adjust it, split the audio if you want more effects. Let, s, I'm going to do is fade in. A bit of fade in and I'm going to a bit of fade out just go on the corner. The name of the class project is how to remove background of a photo in Canva, I have attached in a description and also an outcome in our description. We can see that by using BG remover tool in Canva, you can remove the background of almost every photo or text. It allows you to use the specific subject of any image, must have premium subscription to do this. Now let's go off to the shapes. The first one which we have over here is the step one, open up Canva. In step two, we're going to do is open up presentation. In step three, we're going to apply a photo either from Canva or from your PC. In step four, we're going to select the photo and click on Edit Photo. In step five, we're going to click on BG Remover And wait. If you are on an old editor and can find BG remover, switch the new editor and add BG remover if you don't see it. But obviously if you have a pro account, you will obviously see it on the top. The outcome of this is learning how to use Visa Remover allows you to use any subject of any image by removing the background for multi purpose. So let's just open up Canva and show you how you'll be able to do it. As you can see that I have opened up Canva on my device. Now the thing what I'm going to be doing is going to be following the steps as we're done with the first step. The second step is going to be opening up presentation. You'll find it right on your home screen. Now what I'm going to be doing is going to be taking this panel or taking this page That I'm going to do is go off the elements. And I'm going to do is go off the photos and use any of the photos which I use. So what I'm going to do is just go down click on Photos, and from here you'll be able to use any photo from here. But first off, find out something which has a specific subject. From here, I'm going to select any of the subject. Let's Sema, do take this photo sauce. Click on this. There we go. We have applied the photo, and then I'm going to do click on Edit Photo. And as I have edited photo, you can see that this is the old, or let's say the new editor. And you can also go off to the old editor if you want to. From here, select on this tool on this magic studio panel called the BG remover. Click on this option and wait until the background has been removed. Well, it works differently on both panels, which is the new one and also the new, like old one. So you can see this is how this new editor works. So I'm going to use press on control Z and let's go after the old editor. I'm going to do is click on take me to the old editor. Well, in some cases you might not find, you know, this BD remover because it works different. So in some cases you will find out that it is not available on the old editor, it only is available on the new one. But through updates you will basically see that it will be available on both of the editors. So click on this background remover and on the old editor, this type of panel opens up so you can erase it and restore the selected parts if you want to. Because in the older updates of Canva, sometimes it didn't analyze it perfectly or scan it perfectly. So it just allows you to erase and also restore certein parts. So let's move on to class project two of this course. 19. Class project 2 - How to apply slice effect on graphics: Welcome to class project two of this lesson. The name of this class project is how to apply slice effect on graphics I have attached in the description and also an outcome in the description. There is that by using the slice effect on Canva, you can make stunning graphics to get attention from the audience. Let's go off to the steps. The first step is going to be opening up Cava. In step two, we're going to open up a presentation. Well, you can also use different type of presets, but I prefer using a presentation. In step three, we're going to apply a photo either from Canva or from your PC. Then what you're going to do is going to be, then select the photo and click on Edited Photo. Then the step five is totally optional. What I prefer doing is that taking a specific subject and then slicing it up, but you can also apply it using text. Follow the same step, which is going to be click on the BG remover and wait. In step six, we're going to add the slice effect on the selected graphic. I also have an outcome which is going to be learning how to use the slice effect on specific graphics, helped you to make them look attractive without any further ado. Let's open up Canva and show you how is it done now as I've opened up Canva. So the first thing I'm going to be doing is going to be clicking on this presentation. You can use whichever one you want, but I'm going to do is click on Presentation. Now as I have it on presentation, the next one what I'm going to be doing is going to be applying a photo. I'm going to go off the elements. Or let's just go down and go off the photos. Now from here I'm going to do is click on CL. And then I'm going to do is going to be taking in an element or taking in a photo. So I'm going to do is going to go down and find something which is singular in number. So that I can select specific object or specific subject. So from here I'm going to do is just click on this element over here, or this photo over here. Then this is the optional step, removing the background. So first thing you're going to do is click on this edit photo. Click on the Edit Photo. Click on BG Remover. There we go. Now the elements or the background of this whole photo will be removed. And as we have our specific element over here, our specific graphic, The next thing I'm going to do is going to be applying the slice effect. Just go a bit down and on this effect we have different types of, you know, effects. Now you'll be able to apply those if you want to. You can also see shadows. But what I'm going to do is going to be go down, prefer the old editor. Go on the old editor, take me to the old editor and wait. Click on this photo again, Go off the edit image. Then we have this over here, which we call it the slice effect over here, liquefy and all of them. You can see the slice over here. The first thing I'm going to do is going to be doing the same thing, background remover. Wait until the background has been removed and then I'm going to do is apply the slice effect so that it looks sliced up. It also works really good on let's say text. So make sure to turn your text into a graphic first so that you can apply that effect or apply that filter. I'm going to do weight perfect. Click on Apply, go down and then find out Slice over here. Click on CL and use whichever one you want. Let's say I want chipped, Apply that. Wait until the effect has taken place. Then you will also be able to customize it just the way you want to. Now you can see the effect has been applied. Now what you can do is just wait a bit more until it shows up on your graphic. You can see it has shown up on my graphic. What you can do is just click on it again. You can fix in the slice number of slices. Let's say I want only one slice at the center. There we go. Fixing the offset. There we go.
