1. Introduction to Paper Quilling Art on Canvas: Hello, and welcome to my class. In this class, we are going to learn about paper coiling art on Canvas. So I'm going to guide you through this entire journey, and we are going to transform the very simple and elegant stripes of paper into beautiful and intricate design. And also, we are going to dive into the complex design, which we are going to stick it on the canvas. So whether you're a beginner or you have a little bit knowledge about the paper coiling, this course is hands on course for you guys. Okay. So in this course, we are going to learn about everything from the basic of how the flowers or the leaves are made, and we'll go step by step to the complex design too which are going to look elegant when we are going to stick it on the canvas. So I'm going to demonstrate each step ensuring that you understand the process thoroughly. And by the end of this course, you will have your unique piece, which you can proudly hang it on the wall, or you can just keep it on the bookshelf, or you can just keep it on the corner side of your room, but it is going to look amazing. So without resting your time, let's dive in and start the class. 2. Things required to start Paper Quilling on Canvas: Hello, everyone. Today, we are going to start with the Canvas paper coiling art. The tools required to make this art is first first to the paper coiling stripes. We can take the colorful paper coiling stripes to make the beautiful art. And this is the coiling needle. I'm just showing you the two but we are going to use one. Of course, a fav we call a glue for sticking and securing the part. This is a crimper machine. With the help of this machine. The stripe of the paper becomes curly. Let me show you. Here we go. If we ins you can see from here field. So I have just stuck this tip of this paper coiling paper on this and if you turn like this, from the other end, you will find that the paper is curly. As you can see this. Right? So this is a very simple machine. We just need to put it and stuck it from one side and here you go. In this way, you're getting the curly, paper stripe. And it looks really amazing when you're making a flower design. Because a crumpling thing looks pretty. These are the twiss. This help us to stick or to just pick the things up because sometimes our hands are very sticky because of the glue. It becomes difficult to move one flower or the one petal from one place to another. This is quite helpful. These are the twizzes. This the tools. This is actually it gives a shape of circle. This is going to give the shape of square, and this one is for the triangle. I just need to keep the striping peeling paper on this, and we can get that shape very easily, and whatever shape you want. This is the smallest one, and this is the biggest one. This is for the circle shape. And this one is a three D tool. Because of this, we get the flowers in a three D way. Let me show you. Let us make a coil. So it gives a three D effect. And also, it looks super when we are making a flow and to secure it, we need to put the glue. Oh. For this, three D tool is very useful to make a flows or any other shape to give a three D effect. The very important thing is canvas board, which we are going to use. This is a very important part of this class. We are going to make the paper coiling design on the canvas board. Here I'm taking the size of 15.4 centimeter into 20.32 centimeter. But it's totally up to you, you can use a big one or a small one. Without now wasting our time, I hope you have understood what tools are we are using for this class. So let's start, see you in the next class. Thank you. 3. How to make coils and stick using Paper Quilling stripes: Hello, everyone. Let's start. Here is the Canvas board, first, I would recommend all of you to make a simple flower design with the help of the pencil. So you will get the rough idea where you have to stick the coiling part because sometimes the alignment becomes difficult. So it's better for the beginners to start first with the pencil. So I'm making a hard shape. Here we go. I've made it a little light, as you can see. Because we don't want to show the pencil line of this, we are going to make the design at the boundary of this heart shaped line. So let's start. So you can use any color you want of your choice, but I suggest use multicolor so that it looks pretty. The design is kept on the hanging wall or, you know, any corner place of the room. Or it's just on the shelf bookshelf. It really looks. So I suggest e as many color as you can. And start making with me. I will be very easy for you to understand. So first, I'm making a tight coil for the center part of the flowers. And for that, I'm going to lose the yellow colors. So as you can see, here, we have made them, small coils, which is a tight coin. And. As you can see, here we have the coils which now we can stick on the canvas. So here we will get the help of the tweezers. This will easily hold it a coil for us without any mess. Here we go. We have sticked the coil first, and now let us go for the next step. What I have thought is to make a flower or a pattern design a coil. I'm going to the red stripe. I'm going to make it half and now we'll make the shape of the leaf. First, we'll make a coil. There we go, and slightly loosen it and secure it with the glue. Here we go. And when it is tick, you can just give the shape of the tier drop. Slightly pinch on one side. And you can give the shape of this. In this way, you can make as many as you want and with the different colors. Let's start. Let's continue the next class. Thank you. 4. Start with teardrop shape flower using Paper Quilling stripes: Hello, everyone. So here we have started making the petals for the flowers. As you can see that we have struck the three petals, and I feel that one here will look. I'm going for the fourth petal. So as my canvas board is smaller in size, so I don't want to make it very heavy because then it will look too much. So I just want to make it simple and a design, which can be visible properly from behind, as I've told you, like, if we use this canvas board for hanging on the wall or simply just keeping on the shell, so it should look pretty or from far, it should look nice. So for that, it should be not so heavy, but a very simple design. So I think now this looks very pretty. Now, let's go for the next one. So for that, I'm using orange color. Let us make this into half. Remember that I'm making this half for a reason because my heart shape is small and I don't want big big petals or big big designs around that. F making it sh, I'm using this half so that it becomes a small in size. Let us make a call first. Slightly lose the coil and then secure it with the glue. Now, let us mix a little pinch from both the side, giving it a marker shape. In this way, we can make three or four make shape for a design. So see you in the next class. Thank you. 5. Marquise Shape flower using Paper Quilling strips: Hello, everyone. So let's start with the next flower design. So as we have decided to make the marquis shape for that, let us read this. And let us take this. Oh. In this way, we have stick the remaining fo, and you can see that the second design is also. Let us go for the third one. For that, I'm using the blue color. Again, we are going to make that half The reason behind why I'm using this half. Again, I wanted to tell you is because we have to make it look simple and nice. If we are making a big flower and big design, that will not look good. To make it simple and elegant, we have to make it into half. Taking the two stripes. It's not important that it should be equally half. It's okay if it is a little bit up and down. So let's roll this. Now we are going to give the shape of the heart. Slightly losing it. Now you need to secure it with au. Once it is done, you can give the heart shape. You can give the heart shape by pinching it down and then pressing it from here here you go. This is the heart. In this wave, we are going to make three or see you the next class. Thank you. 6. Make a Heart shape flower using Paper Quilling strips: Hello, everyone. So let's start with this now. As I've shown you the hard shape already. Let us make the remaining one. You have to just gently press it. Don't press it too much. Otherwise a quiing per fold as a very soft and delicate. Here we go. As you can see, our third design is also ready. Now, let us go for the next one. For that, I'm using the purple one. Again, I'm going to use the two strips, and we are going to cut it into half. Now we are going to give the triangle shape. F cut this into half. Here we have the four stripes. Let us make a coil. Losing it. And now we can stick it. And now you can go for the triangle shape. For that, you have to pinch it on the three sides. Here we go. One is this one will be this and this. There we go. Now we have the triangle shape. In this way, we are going to make four triangle shapes. Thank you and say in the next class. 7. Learn to make a Geometric shape - triangle shape flower using Paper Quilling Stripes: Hello, everyone. So, let's start for the fourth one. So I think in this design triangles, three are enough because it looks quite big. So let us try. Here, you can see that I think this three looks quite enough. If I'm adding over here or here, then the other designs will get blocked. So let's keep it simple and three Petters only. Let us go for this. I'm using lemon color. It's very, very light yellow color. Again, I'm taking it two stripes and making it half. And let's make it half. Let's make a coin. And now just losing it slightly. See winter blue. And now let's give us some shape. In this way, I'm giving the by shape from one side and this from the other side. As you can see. In this way, we are going to make three to four patters. Okay, then the next class. Thank you. 8. Learn to make Slug shape using Paper Quilling Stripes: Hello, everyone. So let's start with the next design. As I've shown you, that we are going to make this one. So let's start. Okay. Slightly losing it. Stick it with the glue. And let us, pinch it from both the sides. After pinching, you have to turn one side this opposite and the other one opposite to first one. Here we go. One side which we are pinching is on this side, and the other side is opposite to first. We get a curvy shape. H So we have to do the rest in this way only. So here we go, and we have done with the fourth design also. Now, let us start with the fifth one. Before that, I'm going to use blue color again. So now we have four and start again. Now we are going to make a cache shape. Let me make a coil first. Slightly loosen it. Stick in the glue. And now at the base point, you have to make a shape of the cache. We just need to twist the side. Here we go. This is the cache shape. In this way, we are going to make the remaining four. Thank you and see you in the next class. 9. Last flower design which is curvy teardrop using Paper Quilling Stripes: Hello, everyone. So let us make the remaining t shape. This is done. Here we have stick the fourth design also. In this way, we have just first made the basic thing. First, we started with the coil, as you can see, for the center part of the class, and then we have made the different shapes. I hope you have learned all the basics first. Then in the next class, we are going with the next designs, which will cover all the vacant places. Thank you and see you in the next class. Oh. 10. Make small Leaves and 3d design tight coils: Hello, and welcome to the class again. So now we have finished with the basic. So let's start with some new designs around this floss. I'm using this green colors. I'm using this green stripe. Let it make it small. As you can see, the size, and this we have to make it in the shape. Okay. Let's stick the part to secure it. On statistic. Okay, one statistic, so we have to me Oh Here we go. So now we have given the touch of the green color, green leaves around this. Now let us make something in three D. So I'm two I one red stripe and giving it a to Now, let us make the three D. For this, I'm going to use this one, and you just need to press it. As you can see when we the inside lines, it comes out, right? Look at this. Let me show you how it looks. This is the way it looks. We just need to stick it and it gives the effect of the three D three dimension. In this way, we are going to stick this. It's according to you wherever you feel, you can stick it one I'm going to do here. Also, I'm going to apply some blue inside. So it doesn't come out. No. Here you go. Second, I'm going to do here. Okay. First, we need to make the three d of this thing. Every coil, give a press and a nice and gentle press and this thing will come up as you can see. So in this way, three. Oh. And five. So, let's just stick it. Oh. One thing I wanted to tell you is, when you see this part which has come up, giving us a three D effect, you should also put some glue inside, I mean to say over here so that this integral parts can also stick like this. You should also stick this inside. This is it. For the next design, we'll see you in the next class. Thank you. 11. Curvy Branches for Best Look: Hello, and welcome to the class again. Now we are going to start with the new design. Let's take the green color. Make a coin only a little, remove it. And you will see that we can find this nice leaf curve. In this way, I will try to make more. Let's start. Okay, so as you can see that we have made this view, well, let's start sticking it. So we are sticking it around the flowers, so it gives a very natural effect. Oh. With the help of the twos, it actually becomes very easy. Because if we are holding with the fingers, it get easily stick with our fingers and it's very difficult to remove it. This is the next design which we have made. For the next design. So you in the next class. Thank you. 12. Small Purple flower around curve branches: Hello, and welcome. So now let's start with the new design. So let us make small flowers. For that, we will have this purple stripes and we are going to cut it into small pieces. You can take the size as like you want. Three, four are enough, one, four f one flowers I mean. We are using the 44 petals for each flower. Here we go. We are going to make the three flowers. So, this is a small petal. In this way, we are going to make the petals. Oh. Here, we have made the small petals of the flower. We'll start sticking it. It is really small, as you can see, but it looks really pretty once it is stick. So let start. We are going to stick this at the end of this leaf c. Again, with the using pincers. We are going to do that because it becomes easier. Gently press. I think here we need only three. So we are going to stick only three. So one thing I wanted to tell you, it's totally up to you, like if you feel that if you want to five petals, go ahead. Here we are done with the extra flaws. Now what I think is where we see the part where the lines are made, I think we should a coils and stick over there. Let's go ahead for that, say in the next cla. Thank you. 13. Covering all the empty spaces with tight coil: Hello, everyone. So in the last lecture, we had talked about that we are going to fill this space. Here I've made a tight coils with the help of lemon yellow color. Let us start sticking it. I will be sticking over here. Another one over here. Next over here. So I think we'll need more to cover the place spaces. So let us make. Oh. Mm. Okay, so we have done now. So let us start sticking it. So I have made some very thin where it can fit in the very thin space. A Here we go. Now we have covered all the empty spaces with this design. As you can see this. Now for the next design, we'll see in the next class. Thank you. 14. Learn to make small branch with small leaves : Hello and welcome. Now we are going to make a branch with small leaves. Let's start. For that, we are going to take green shade, of course. For the branch. First, we are going to cut, and then let us apply now we can make the branch. Here we go. Similarly, we can make one more branch over here. Now we can make small lease. First, we need to make the coils of course. In this, we are going to make a. We can lose it, but not so lightly. We have to lose it very. We have to make a very small as. In this way, we have a coin, pinch it from both the sides. Okay. In this way. In this way, we have pinched from both the sides and a very small leaf. We are going to make the leaves for the branches, so let start. Oh Okay, so let us stick now. So we have made all these leaves for the branches. So let's start sticking. Oh. So as you can see, we have completed this branch. We have just to the side of the branch, and if you want, you can give some shape. If you want to tilt, you can do it a bit. Let us go for the next branch to. Here we go. So now we have made the two branches. If you want, you can just make it more creative. Okay. So I think this is done. It looks cool, right? So for the next design. See you in the next. Thank you. Oh. 15. Finishing touch by making crescent shape using Paper Quilling Stripes: Hello, and welcome to the class again. This will be our final design. We are going to make a Kristen shape. Here I'm going to use blue color. Let us make a call. Slightly losing it. And now let's take it with the glue. And now we just need to press put your thumb like this, and you can make a crescent shape. In this way. So in this way, we are going to make more. So there is no specific size you have to make. It's totally up to you. And if you are making it one big, one small, it's totally okay. Ooooooh. Okay, so we have made a few criss in shape. So let us take it. So we can at the random places. When we'll stick it over here. When we will stick here. And the other on this side. Similarly, one we are going to stick here. And that the same. So here we go. So now we have completed our design. So yeah, we are done with this. And thank you so much. Bye. 16. Your first Project: Hello, and welcome to our project video. I would encourage to work on the beautiful floral design on the canvas. For that we'll need the following things. First we'll need the colorful stripes of paper. Second, quiling tool, third, twizers, fourth, Canvas board, fifth, glue, lasts design template. See, that is optional. You can use your own pattern tool. But if you want to make a specific design, then you can just take a pattern and start doing work and start working on that. First, we are going to start by making the floral, that means a flower. For that, you have to take a paper coiling stripe and just roll it on the paper coiling tool, which is the needle. This make a tight coil. Once you are done with the coil, then you just slightly loosen it and secure it with the glue. For the petals of the flaws, you're going to make it into the teardrop shape by pinching your coils. You can arrange this petals into the form of flaws and just put it onto the canvas and stick it. We are going to apply the same technique for the leaf, but for that, we are going to use the Marquis forms instead. Now you have already arranged the flowers for the canvas. Now let's go for the leaf, and you can follow the design template or you can make your own pattern too and make sure that everything is on its place and just apply the glue if you feel that it is going to come out and just press it gently and allow the glue to dry it. There you go. You will get the beautiful art which is ready to hang it on the wall, or you can just keep it on the shelf or you can keep it on the corner of the room. It's going to look super. Yes, please don't forget to share your work in the project gallery. I am just excited to see your work. And remember, the key for the Qiling is patience and practice. So keep experimenting with the colors and designs. Thank you. 17. Conclusion: Congratulations. You have completed your paper caring Canvas art. I hope you enjoyed learning and creating as much as I enjoy teaching you. Remember, the skills which you've learned here can be applied on the countless project from greeting cards to the home decor.
