And I'd like to welcome you all to our logo design using Photoshop at Illustrate Tutorial. So now we will be starting on with this tutorial, and the first chapter is introduction to logo designing in Photoshop. Okay. So we'll look at the things which we need to know before continue photoshop like, what are the things that we need to keep in mind while we try to make a logo in photoshop? So let's not waste time, and let's get started. So over here, the topic is great creative logo design made easy with photoshop. Like to welcome you all to the tutorial and over here in this tutorial, we'll be exploring different easy ways to create some eye catching logos using Photoshop. Okay, over here, we will use some of the basic tools itself. I'll be explaining you guys each and every steps quite easily how to follow those. Make sure to follow those, and we'll be making some eye catching logos using Photoshop. Then in the next part of this tutorial, we will move on to Illustrator as well. So get ready to unleash your creatively. And let's look what we have over here. So first thing, first, before starting to design any logo, you need to understand the basics of logo designing. So what I mean by basics. You need to understand that what kind of paper size do you need to take in photoshop? You should have a basic idea about photoshop at first. At the tools, how you can actually create a page, okay or a new document and over there, how to actually rasterize layers and stuff? Okay, how to work with layers. You should have basic understanding about photo shop at first. And also about logo designing, you should have the idea of what kind of logo are you looking for, okay? And for what company are you going to make that logo for? Is it, logo, which is actually symbolizing something or it is just some initials or some numbers. You need to have a clear concept in mind as a logo is quite important, that is very important part of a company for their marketing or for their recognition. And if the logo is not good by itself, it will not actually put out a great effect in your mind. Now in today's world, if you just think, let's say, if I tell you BMW, you guys can remember what their logo is or if I tell guys about Adi, Tesla, okay, or Lamborghini. You can actually remember what their logos are. Okay? Most of the bigger companies, they do have their logo or let me say Google or let me say Amazon. You guys can see that their logos are not complex, but very simple and very easy to remember. So you need to understand that you need to keep your logo quite simple and make it memorable and ensure that it's versatile, okay? And your logo should not actually match the other company's logo. If it's too similar to each other, then people might tend to forget what is your speciality and what do you guys do or the recognition of your company. So it's very, important that you understand the basics of logo designing. And the next thing over here is once you're trying to design a logo, whatever fonts you're using, that you're using the right color of fonts and the right fonts as well. Okay, you need to make sure that you use the right color combination and right kind of fonts. So fonts and colors, they basically play a very crucial role in logo design. So we need to learn how to select complimentary phones and also how you can actually select harmonious color palettes to convey the right message. So before designing a color, you before actually choosing up a set of colors, you need to see that those colors which you have selected for your logo are the compatible with each other or not. Like in the same frame, do those colors look good or not? So you need to keep that things in mind, and there are different websites. So let me just tell you guys about f, okay. So there is a website called Color Hunt. You guys can go there, and you guys can check that they do already have a lot of color palette. And also, there are different websites. Okay? There is a website called Grabient from there also, you guys can actually check out. There are different color palettes which you can download and make those used in your particular project in photoshops. Okay? So you need to understand that you do use good color combination, which actually fits your theme as well, and also make sure to use some fonts which are quite simple and attractive to ice. Okay, make sure to not use any kind of fonts which are too complicated or too funky, because it actually decreases the quality of your design. Okay, so make sure to do that. And the next thing we are going to learn about is mastering logo elements in photoshop. What we mean by mastering the logo elements in photoshop. Once we're working in photoshop, we need to understand that what are the shapes or what are the kind of layers that you're going to work on with. Okay, so we'll discover the use of photoshop tools to basically manipulate different kind of shapes, different kind of text, and also layers effectively. In photoshop, we do work with rasterized layers over here. Okay? And now we need to actually have a better idea about layering while we're trying to work in logo. Let's say if you want to manipulate a shape, if you want to do that, you guys can come here, and you guys can work with that. If you want to manipulate any text, you guys can also come here, and you guys can also do that over here. So first, you need to understand that what you are exactly trying to do. And once you have come up with a solid plan, you need to make sure that you implement those into your work. So first, you need to unleash your imagination and then bring that imagination or bring that idea to life. Okay? This is how you guys can actually master the elements of logo in photoshop. And the next option is adding visual impact with effects. Okay. So over here, if you do have a particular logo, you need to explore how you can actually enhance its beauty. Okay? So in that particular case, to enhance its beauty, you can actually add up a shadow, and also, you need to understand at what angle you do want to put on the shadow and how much you do want to put up the shadow, what kind of shadow you are going to put. And also we will be learning about working with different gradient colors, okay? In many cases, we need to make sure that we work with gradient colors and also other effects, which will actually elevate your design, and it will make it stand out from the rest. Okay? So you need to make sure that you focus on the minute details of your logo, that you don't miss out anything or you do exactly what you plan on. And keep on experimenting with lot of project at the same time. Okay? And afterwards, you by yourself, can actually compare that which of your logo basically looks good, and you can basically forward that to your company or to your client as well. Okay? So this was about adding visual impact with effects. And the next thing over here is showcasing your finished masterclass. Okay? So you need to learn the best practices for presenting your logo. Let's say, if you do want to show your logo, how it actually looks on to your website or how it looks on a T shirt, let's say, or how it actually looks on top of a letterhead, okay? So company, basically, they do have their logo in each and everything. Okay, so you guys can actually create a markup for that to branding application on how or you will discover how to showcase your work in a professional way. Okay? So they won't be looking that particular logo in your photoshop application, right, your client or where you're going to implement that particular logo. They'll be looking that logo in their official documents or let's say into their company. Okay, so you guys can prepare those things or those kind of mock ups and basically present those that this is how my logo will look like on your T shirt, or this is how my particular logo will look like on your letterhead. So you guys can just implement that and show them the mock up, which will give them a better idea of how the logo has turned out. Okay. And over here, now, the next point is seeking inspiration and feedback. So before creating some logos, you need to make sure that you do see different kind of logos from different designers, okay? And I'm not telling you to directly copy them, but from them, you guys can take inspiration. And also you guys can get some feedback. You guys can see that what are the designs that they have used and how you can actually manipulate and how you can actually make it look better. You guys can see what are the color palettes that they have used What are the effects they have used. You guys can just take up a idea from them. So over here, you need to find out where to seek inspiration and how you can gather constructive feedback. So embrace the iterative process to refine your logo designs. And lastly, I like to tell you that, let your creativity flow and continue to innovate in your design endeavors. So this was just a small introduction about logo design in photoshop. So from our next chapter, we will move on to photoshop itself. And we will see that how you can start creating logo in Photoshop. So see you all in the next chapter. Till then, take care and goodbye, everyone. 3. Making a logo using shape: Hello, everyone, and welcome you all to another chapter of the logo designed using Photoshop and Illustrator. So now we are on our Chapter number two, where I'll be showing you guys by making a logo using shape in Photoshop. So using shape, if you do want to create any kind of logo for any company, you guys will have a great idea in this particular chapter. So let's not waste time, and let's get started. So over here, on my screen, as you guys can see now this is the home page of Photo shop. And from here, now you guys can see all the recent works, which I did is right over here underneath. So if you don't want to open anything up, you guys can come here and open it from the recent files. So the first thing is you about creating up a new file. Okay? So to create a new document or a new file in which you will work, you need to come here, click on the new file. Otherwise, you guys can go in the top menu, and from there itself, you guys can actually create one. Okay? From file, you go to new, and from there, you can click on new document. So now here, you guys already have a basic idea about how to create a file, but now I'll be telling you guys about the size in which you are going to work on. Okay. So for me, now, let's name this one as the shape logo. Okay? So I will just name this file as shape logo. And for the sizes, instead of centimeters, I'm going to use Pexels, a? And here, For logo design, I will take a pixel of 800 into 800. Okay? So the width and the height is going to be 800 right over here, and you guys can see what is going to be the resolution. Okay? So I will just go with Pixel centimeta. And here I will take out the RGB color mode. If you don't want to take out the CMYK, you guys can also do that. Let me just keep this one at eight bit, and I want a white background. And once you're done, let's click on Create. And here you guys can see that I do have this particular place where I will be working on with my logo. Okay. So over here, now just come to your property spanel on the right hand side, and over here, make sure that you do have your Smart guide on. Okay? So this is the Smart guide. And if you do have used photoshop before you will get a better idea about how important the Smart guide is, okay? And also, if you do want to put on rulers to get a better understanding to keep your logo in the center, make sure to come here and click on view rulers. And after that, you guys can just set out a ruler quite like this, okay? So let's come here and let me just put out a ruler over here, and the same way. Let's come down. Let's put up a ruler over here again. And also for the sides, let's put it over here. And also, let's come here, and let's put this right over here. T. Okay. So now I do have created some space on the sides because I don't want to go onto the ages while creating my logo. So it is always better that you just set up the space inside which you don't know work. So now, the next thing is I want to create a shape in which I will modify that shape later, and I will work with that. Okay? So if you do want to find out some color palettes. There are different ways of how you will be able to do that. So basically, you guys can go directly to the colors, and from here, you guys can choose. And here you guys can see there are already a lot of swatches, which you can use. Okay. But if you don't want to do it from here, I will show you guys about different websites, which you can use over here itself. Okay? So let me come here and now let me come here onto my tool bar. And here in my tool bar, you guys will be able to see that there is this rectangle tool. Just right click on your mouse and underneath, you guys can see, there are also different tools. Okay? So let's say from here, I am going to take out the Ellipse tool. And if I do want to create ellipse just from the middle itself, let's say if I click over here, you guys can see I can change the ption or here. But now, what I want to do is I want to create shape, or I want to create a circle right over here, in which I will be able to get it from the center. So let's delete this one. And from here, once you're trying to create, it, make sure to click on shift over here, and let's try to create a circle. Okay? So now over here, you guys can see, I do have a circle over here again, if you do want to create again, you guys can click here, and you guys can create. So now let me just take out my selection too. Otherwise, let's go to my layers. Okay? And if you don't see layer panel right over here, make sure to put it just onto the side. Let me open up my layer panel, let me increase it, and let me just place it right over here. And once I've selected this ellipse, you guys can just move this ellipse up over here itself, and let's try to place it over here in the center. Okay? So this is basically the usage of the Smart guide because it will show you that your icon is there in the middle or not, okay? So this is about the background. And the next thing, what you are going to do over here is So now from here, again, I will go in my tool bar, and from my tool bar, here you guys can see that I do have my pin tool. Okay? So from here, basically, you guys can select up your pin tool. And once you have selected this particular pin tool, now over here, you will be drawing out a shape. Okay? So to create that particular shape, now over here, let's say, I will I will just click over here and let me just go back using Control Z. And after that, over here, I will come on top. Okay? And if you don't see this particular option on top of your photo shop, make sure to go to your windows, make sure to go to your workspace and go to essentials right from here. Okay? So this is the default page, and over here, you need to make sure that you want to create a path. So I want to create a shape, which is a path, and also just come here and make sure to select the combined shapes option. Okay. So now, just come right over here. And now, let me just create up a shape. And from here, now let's take out a shape over here as well. And the same way, let me come here. Let me just create a different shape, and also the same way. Let's come right over here. And after that, let's try to get up a line from here itself. And also let's try to add just this particular line right over here. Okay. And once you're done with this particular part, if you want to give this thing up a color. Okay, you guys can come here, and you guys can just give this one up a color as well. Okay. So, to do that, let's come here. Let's take my selection tool. And let's select this shape. And from here, if you do want to give this one up a different color. Let's say I will just choose this shape, or let me just take out a color right from here. And the total thing will basically get colored, okay? So if you do want to go back on before this only, let's try to take out a color. And let me just show you guys about a website, okay? So I'll just go to Google Chrome from here. And if I just go to Chrome, let's come here and you guys can type Color Hunt. Okay, click on Color Hunt, and I need to check my wi fi over here. Oh, I have turned it off. Okay. So now I will just turn my Wi Fi on, and now here let's roll this one up. And here you guys can see that in color hunt, if I just click over here, I will get a lot of color options. Okay, so you guys can choose what colors are you looking for over here. Okay? So again, if I come here, let me take or go to my photo shop. And from here, now let's take my rectangle too, and let's click on shift, and I will just take out this shape. And after that, again, I will just take this one. Let's select this particular shape. Over here. And now I'm going to duplicate this particle layer right over here. If you do want to do it in a different layer, you guys can come here, and you guys can basically do it in a different layer, right over here. If you do want to add up a layer, let's come here. Let's add a new layer. And in this new layer. Now I will just take this rectangle. And the same way, let's come here. Let's click on Alt, and I will just duplicate this rectangle right over here as well. Okay. So let's come here. And now, if I do want to copy this one or I want to copy the code, Okay, I will just click over here, and this is copied. Let's go to Photoshop. And now here, let's go to color. And if you do want to give out any color, if you do want to apply that, you guys can do it right from here. Otherwise, if you don't see You guys can go to windows and from windows, make sure to on the color option, which was already on. Over here, let's come here onto the color options, and here you guys can actually search. Okay? So let's double click over here and control V. And now I do have that particular color right over here. And the same way, if I do want to put that out in the swatches, let's click on my eye dropper tool. And exactly, I can just paste out this particular color, which I have. Okay. So if you do want any kind of feel, a, you guys can actually do that right over here. Let's go back. Otherwise, let's come here and let's paste it again. Okay? So if I just take out this shape and control V, and I will just click on, Okay, let's take my selection tool. Let's select this one up. And underneath here, under the appearance option as well. You guys can just take out a color. Control V over here. And if I just click on Enter, you guys can see that I do have a different color. So same way, just click on Old and duplicate this one. Okay? So just come here, make sure to duplicate this one. And if you do want to maintain the same line, let's click on this one right over here. This particular rectangle. And what you're going to do is let's go to feel And from here, I want to take out this color. So I have copied this particular code. I'll go to Photoshop and here you guys can see. I do have another rectangle box. And over here, what I'm going to do is, I'm going to come here. Let's go to this color swatches and control V to paste it. And I'll just click on, and this have changed its color as well. So let me just put out this color for this particular ellipse. Let's click onto the ellipse option. Over here. So now this particular ellipse is being selected. And now let's take my eye dropper too, and now let's select this color, and let's try to put this particular color right over here itself. Okay? So now here you guys can see that I do have given out this color to this ellipse as well. So the next thing over here is let's go to properties, and under properties from here again, I will take my pen tool. Okay. So using pin tool, I will just create up a small shape. Okay over here, let's come and now let's to get out some shapes over. Okay. So let's here, and also right over here. Let me just put out shape. Okay? So now I will just put out a shape over here. And now again, I'll just come here on top, and I will just click on substract from shape. Okay? So now here you guys can see this particular place is being subtracted from the shape. Now, again, over here, using my pen tool, I will just draw another shape. Let's write it over here. And from here, I will draw up a shape and the same way, let's come here. And let's put up a shape over here. And also, I will just join this one right over here as well. Okay? And once you have applied this one over here, now the next thing, what you're going to do is take your selection tool and make sure to select this layer. And after that, you guys can go to this add a ayertyle option. Okay? So once you go to add a ayertyle option from here, you need to go to the gradient overlay. Okay? So once you click on gradient overlay, right over here, you guys can see that you do have a lot of blending move. So according to yourself, you need to choose Okay. And now instead of linear style into gradient, I will go with the radial style. Okay? So now I will come over here. I will just click on the gradient as one, and I can just choose the color which I am going to choose. Okay? So over here, if I want to take this color as my gradient, let's click on. And last, I'll come here. And now, if I just double click here, you guys will be able to see that I will just take out this color. Okay? So let me just click on over here. Let me just move this one up, and this is how it actually looks right now. So I'll just take this one as a solid color. I'll just keep the smoothness as 100. And once this is done here, I can actually scale up the color, okay? So how much do I want to put out That particular shape. I will be able to do that, or what is going to be the angle over here, I can also choose the angle of the color as well. So if you do want to scale it up, if you do want it more on the red side, you guys can actually choose that right over here. Okay? So once this particular part is done, once you're happy with this one, let's click on k over here, and the outline of the shape is being applied. So now once this is applied, let me take my pin tool again. But now in this pin tool, I am going to change the path to shape. Okay? So over here, now I'm going to draw out some shapes over here. Let's come to this particular point and over here, let's make out some changes and the same way. Let's come over here. And also, I will just draw up a shape quite like this. Otherwise, just go back step by step. And directly, if you want to come here, and if you do want to create a shape, you guys can actually do that. Okay? So directly, right from here, you guys can do that. Otherwise, if you do want to make any changes, you guys can actually make those changes right from here itself. Okay? So let me just come over here and now over to this particular point. Okay. Let's come here and over on this particular point, if you do want to a join this over here, you guys can actually do that right over here itself. Okay? So if you do want to create up a shape quite like this, you guys can also do that. And the same way, just come over here and also add point. You guys can just add a shape. Let's come right over here. Okay. Let's come right over here. And also at this particular point, you guys can again create a per shape of your own. Okay? So you guys can just come here. Let me just create a per shape again. So let's here, you guys can just take out your own time over here for creating that shape. Let me just put out that shape in total, right over here. So if you do have some problem, you guys can just take it. And it totally depends up to what kind of style you're creating. And lastly, let's come here. Otherwise, let's go back. And if I just click on Escape, here you guys will see that I'm not able to create per shape right over here. So let's go back again. Let's come back right over here. Let's come to this point. And from this point, let me just create upper style. Let me just put out this point over here, and let me just create up a shape. In that case, now, what I'm going to do is, lastly, I'm going to come right over here, or let's say I do have created this point over here. Let's take my selection too, and I will just select this one layer. But now let's go to my layer panel, and I'm going to put all of this just underneath. So the same way if I do need to move this one around a little bit over here, that I can just move this one around as well. So the same way I will just put this one under this p s panel as well. Let me just move this one right over here, and you guys can move. So the same way, let me just create up another shape. Let's take my pen tool, and with my pen tool, let's come here, and let's create our design. Let's come here. And also, let's join this one. And lastly, once you are done, let's take my selection tool. Again, what I'm going to do is I'm going to come here and I'm going to just put this one right down. Okay now here, the shape three is also under this one. So for all these three layers, the shape on Shape two and shape three. Again, what I need to do is, I need to come here into my layers. Let's go to this adjustment layer from here. Also, I will just go to gradient overlay, and you guys can see how it actually works. Okay? So I do have the gradient overlay right over here, and you guys can see that how much do you want to scale it up? Okay? Let's say if I do want to scale it up, totally or let me just go with 120, and let's click on, right over here. And what I can do is I can come here into this particular shape, and you guys can basically choose out this particular layer. Let's go to properties, and here this will basically act as a mask. Okay? So if you do want to come here on top, if you want to work with the shape path, you guys can do that. And if you do want to add out any feather, you guys can come here, and you guys can add this one as a feather as well. So now I am here in the shape number. Two. Okay. So in the shape number two, the same way, let's go to this gradient overlay. And from gradient overlay, let's click right over here. This is also applied. Lastly, let's come here in the shape number one, and the same way I will just apply the gradient overlay right over here itself. Okay, so the gradient overlay is being applied over here as well. And all of these three shape, if you don't want, the stroke over here in this particular shape. Click over here. Go to this adjustment layer. Let's go to stroke. And from stroke, you guys can just decrease the size of stroke to one. Okay? And also, let me just put this one outside. Okay. So if you do want to put it outside, you guys can also do that for the stroke. Okay? So over here, you guys can see I have actually worked on with the stroke. And once you're done, you guys can click on, right over here. You guys can see this outline is basically done, a. Now the next thing is, let's come here. Let's take my pen to, and over here, now I will be creating some design. Okay? Let's come. And now let's place it right over here, and let's place it over here as well. And now here you guys can see how it actually looks. I do have this particular shape, but now I do want to give this one up a different color. Okay? So for that, let's come to this shape. And from this particular shape, let's try to give this shape up a different color. Okay? So if you do want to do that, let's come here, and let's select a green color. And once you have given up this green color, now, let's take my selection tool. And the same way, I will just click on Alt and I will just duplicate this one. And also, after selecting this one, if you do want to give this thing up a rotation, you guys can come here, and you guys can actually give this thing up a rotation, or if you do want to flip it, you guys can come here, and you guys can actually flip this one as well. So let's come here and from here, Now, I will just select this one. And if I just click on Control T, you guys will see that now I can actually change this one, okay? So let me just come here in one particular side. And once you're done over here, let me just place it somewhere right over here. And if you do want to make any changes, you guys can come here, and you guys can make changes. Let's click on Alt. Okay? I will just transform this one. And over here, let's click on Alt. Let's duplicate this one. And over here, let's delete this shape. Let's come here. Let's click on Control T. To transform again. And if you do want to give this thing up a rotation, you guys can come here, and you guys can actually give this thing up a rotation as well. Okay? So if it was quite like this, It was around like this. Let me just bring it right over here. And now you guys can just give up a rotation according to yourself. Okay? So now after giving this rotation, this is how it looks. And here, you guys can see that you do have a great logo right over here. And also, if you do want to select these layers, let's say, I will just delete this one. Let's select this one, and let's delete this layer. Here you guys can see that you do have your logo over here as well. Okay? And under shape, okay, if you do want to come here, and if you do want to decrease it, Okay, if you want to decrease the opacity, you guys can come here, and you guys can actually increase the feather. Okay, of this particular place and the same way. Let's decrease the feather of this one and the same way. Let's leg this one, and let's increase the feather of this particular thing as well. Let's decrease the feather. And from here, you guys can just decrease the density or it is actually decreasing the density of the whole thing in total. So now let's select this layer. So over here, you need to understand that what the problem is. Okay. Over here, if I just put this one over here in one side, and now let me just create up a shape. Okay. Now again, let's take my pen tool. Let's come here. Let's try to create a shape. Let's try to create up a shape over here. Also, let's try to create a shape over here as well. Let's join this one. And now the last thing is, let's click on Control T. And what you can do is you guys can just move this one thing a bit onto the side. Okay? So let's come over here and let me just place this over here in one particular side. And if you do want to decrease the size as well, you guys can come here and decrease the size as well. So let me click on Enter. And now, over here, you guys can just increase the feather of this one over here. Okay? Let's say if you do want to increase the feather, you guys can also do it over here itself. Okay, so here you guys can see now, I am done with the logo. If you do want to put out some shadows. In that case, you need to come here. You need to choose your brush to And after taking the brush tool, right over here, let me just take out a new layer. Okay, so I'll just take up a new layer. Let me just decrease the size of my brush, which is around this. And let me just select what is going to be the width as well. Okay. So over here, now, let me just increase the size up a little bit. And also, I will just decrease the hardness to 50. And over here, you guys can just click here once. Wise, let's go with a black color over here for the shadows, and I can just click here, and I can just create up a shadow quite like this. And if you do want to increase the size, let's say I will just increase the size of my brush. Let's say 250, and like that, I will just click here once. And here you guys can see a shadow is being applied over here as well. Okay, so you need to make sure that this one kind of looks good. So this one actually looks like a shadow. And now If you do want to add on some text. So here now I will just click on to the text option over here. And now I will just decrease the size of the text. Let me just go with 18. And after that, I can just type orange, let's come over here. And for the color, let me just take out a dark color. So I will just type orange, L T D. I'll just type this thing down and over here, what I can do is I can just choose what kind of font I want to use. Let's select this one, and for font, let's come here. Let's take out this particular font. And what I can do is I can just place this one accordingly. Let's select this text, and let's click on Control T to select it. And lastly, here you guys can just place this particular logo. Right over here, and once you are done, you can just apply it right over here. So now here you guys can see my logo is basically done. If you do want to work more. Okay, you guys can come here, and you guys can basically work more right over here as well. Let's say if you do want to add some branches and stuff, let's come here. Let's go to my pin tool. Okay? So let me just take my pin tool right over here, and I'll just turn off my caps, and over here, now, at this particular point, let's select this one. And now I will just click on, and let me just give this one up a brown color. Okay? So for color, I will just go right over here, and I will just try to search for a brown color. Okay? So let me come here. And here you guys can see that you can apply this particular brown color right over here itself, okay? So let me come here. Let me just click on Control T or let me just go here onto the property spanel, and you guys can actually give some color to that layer. So if you just go to this, uh, layer. Okay. If you do want to add up a solid layer, you guys can also do that. But if you just want to color this thing up, you guys can come here and let me just select this layer. So I do have selected this layer. Let's go to feel. And from here, let me just take out this brown color. Let's click on Enter, and here you guys can see this logo is basically ready. Okay? So if you need to make any changes, just select that layer, control T. And if you do want to give this one a simple rotation, you guys can come here, and you guys can just give this one up a simple rotation. So very easily, you guys can just get started over here. If you don't want any font, or let's say if you don't want any stroke for that, control D again. And now here you guys can actually choose this one, no font. Otherwise, you guys can increase the feather and decrease the density of the shape into your shape layer as well. Okay? So now I will just click right over here and let's select this. And if you do want to apply more effect or more saturation or more brightness, you guys can do that. But for now, I hope this is clear of how you will be able to create a simple logo. And now to save this file up, let's go to file. From here, let's click on Export. And from Export, let's click on Quick Export as PNG. Make sure to choose the shape. Let's go to Dextop. Let's save it here in my resource file, and I will just click on Save. And this particular file will be saved in my system as a shape logo. So using shape, you guys can create a lot of things, and especially using the Pin tool, if you do know how to use this properly with the right thing. Okay. So now, here, if you do want to save out the PSD file, let's go to file. From the Manua F here, let's click on Save ES, and I will just go to Dectop. I will select this one, and I'll just save out the PSD file, and I need to click on, over here in this Compatibility window. I will click on, Okay, and this is being saved as well. Later on, if you need to change anything, if you feel, you guys can come here, and you guys can actually change those as well. So, yeah, I hope to see you all in the next chapter. Till then, take care and goodbye, everyone. 4. Simple logo using shapes and texts: Hello, everyone. And welcome you all to another chapter of the Logo Design using Photoshop and Illustrator tutorials. So now we are on our Chapter number three, where I'll be showing you guys about Simple logo design using shapes and text. With the simplest text design, how you will be able to create some stunning logo, and also some basic shapes like triangle, the custom shape, and also using rectangle, how you will create a good logo. We'll be learning about that over here into this particular chapter. So let's not waste time, and let's get started. So over here, as you guys can see, now I'm here in the home page of the photoshop. From here, basically, if I do want to upload new or if I want to work on with a new file, let's click on new file over here, and let's name this one as simple text and shape Logo. Okay? So I'll be just showing you guys how you will be able to create one nice logo using few of the most used and a few of the easiest shapes over here. Okay. So let's come here. Let's click on to create, which will create me this particular artboard, which I'm going to work on. Okay. So let's come here. Let's open up my layer spanel over here that I can view it properly. And now, the first thing, what you're going to do is first, you need to come over here and over here, you need to basically draw up a rectangle. Okay. So over here, basically, I do want to draw up a rectangle over here. L et's say otherwise, what you can do now is you can first take up a text. Okay? So first, you need to think that what you are actually planning to name. So let's just click right over here and let's write. Let's use all caps, the United, L T D. Okay. So I will just type the United LTD over here. And now, what I'm going to do is I'm going to take my selection tool, and after that, let's click on Control T. And now I am going to try to put this one over here in the center of my artboard. Okay. So now I do have put this one over here in the center of my artboard. And over here, now I need to make sure that I do create up a rectangle on top of this one. Okay. So now let's come right over here. Let's take this particular rectangle too. And from the rectangle to, what I'm going to do is, I'm going to create up a rectangle box. So let me just create up a rectangle box right over here. And after that, if you do want me to give this one up a different color, let's go to my property spanel, and over here for stroke, I will just keep the stroke as zero. And over here now, let me just give this one up a white color. Okay. So if you do want to give The fiel a white color. Let's come here, and let's give this feel up a white color. Now, let's come here. Let's select this rectangle, and let's click on Control T. And what you're going to do is you are going to put this one behind the text. So now I do have this rectangle just behind this pedicular textbox. So I'm going to make it quite simple over here, Okay. So now, let's come here. Let's take this rectangle box and under feel. What I'm going to do is I'm going to give this one up a black color and control t that I can just move this thing up over here as well. Okay, so here you guys can see, I can just move this thing up over here. And also, like, if you just want to duplicate it, you guys can actually duplicate this one over here back again. Okay? So now, let's come here and if you do want to decrease the size, okay? So if I just click on To shift. Here you guys can see, I can just create upper shear quite like this. Okay? So if you don't want me to do that, I will be able to do that right over here. Again, let's come to my text, and over here, I will just change the text color to white. Okay? So I'll just change up the text color to white right over here. And now I am going to individually change the text font. Okay? Let's come here. And let's take this first three word. And for the font, let me just choose some type of font. Let's try to view that one, and now here you guys can see that I do have a lot of fonts over here. Okay, so let me just come down. Let me just come here. Let me just go down over here again. And let me just take this one. Okay. And over here, what I'm going to do is I'm going to take this one and the same way, what I'm going to do is I'm going to come here, and I am going to take out a different font. Okay? So let's come here. Let's go with this agency F B, or if you do want to change it, you guys can come here, and you guys can change it as well. So if I go with andra, But over here, I do want to change out the color as well. Okay. So for the color, let's go with something like this. And let's click on, right over here. And this is being applied. And now the next thing is, let's come to this rectangle option. And from here, now let's click on Control T, and you guys can just increase the size of this rectangle the way you want. Okay? Over here, this is how it actually works. If you want to come here, let's say if I do want to get out some spaces, here you guys can see and also let's come here, and the distance from the center is quite the same. So over here, this also looks the same. And now let's click on Enter. Okay. So here you guys can see this particular part of my logo is actually done. Okay. So the next thing is, if I do want to create anything over here, top. Okay? So over here, you guys can actually do that. And for that, what you are going to do is you're going to come here onto the Shape tool. And from here, you guys can see that you do have the custom shape type, okay? And if you just right over here, here you guys can click that what kind of custom shade are you going to create, a? So if you just come right over here, if you do want to create any wild animals or if you do want to create some leaps and all, you guys can come here, and you guys can choose right from here. Otherwise, if you do want to create some boat like structure here, you guys can see, you do have these recommendations all over here. So under flower, also, you guys can see that you do have some different flowers. So what I can do is, if I don't want to create these flowers, So I will just click on shave and over here can just add up this flower. Okay? And over here, if you do want to give this one some shape, let's cut here and let me just put out the shape right over here. Okay? Otherwise, control Z. And now in this vertical rectangle, I am going to come here. Let me just take out this one. So I do have a new shape. Now, let's take my selection tool, and I can basically move this thing up around. And for the stroke, I don't want any stroke over here. And over here, I want it in black color. Otherwise, if you just want to go control T to move this thing around. And if you do want to put this one over here in one side, let's say I do want to keep this one. Over here, let me just put out the field color as white. Okay? So this one looks good over here as well. Okay. Now, once you're done, again, let's come here and from here, let's try to get out some of this triangle. Okay, so if you do want to create any kind of triangles sit over here, you guys can see that you have the option of creating some nice triangles over here itself. Okay. Now let's try to create some So once you are done over here, let me just get no fill. Over here, I won't take any fill and the same way. Now, let's give this one upper black color, okay? So black color. And I do have my triangle right over here back again. And let's take this one. Let's click on to my selection tool. And now I will just click on Alt, and I want to duplicate this one, which is right over here. So I will just duplicate it, and I'll just keep this one over here on top. And the same way, control T, And now, if you do want to give this thing up a rotation, you guys can see that you guys can just give this one up a 180 degree rotation. Okay? So you guys can come here and you guys can actually do that. Otherwise, directly right from here, you guys can just give this thing a slip. Okay? So just come right over here, once you're done, you guys can just transform this one, and here you guys can see that how the spicular logo looks like. Okay? So here you guys can see once this part is done, and for the next part over here, you guys can just add some other items. So let's say I will come here. And from here, let's go to my line two. And if you do want to create some straight lines over here, You guys can just do that using by just clicking, shift. Okay. So make sure to create up a line. Otherwise, just go back over here, make sure you're not selecting any layer. And now let's click on shift. And at this particular point, let's go here. Let's create up the line. Now again, let's go for stroke, and let's increase the stroke right over here. Let me just go with Let's go with 12. So if I just click on Enter, you guys can see that I do have eight in 12. Now, let's come here. Let's just select it. And again, over here, let's click on Alt, and let's duplicate it, and let's keep this one in the same place. Okay over here, you guys can also do that. Otherwise, let's come here. And from here, if you do want to just put out a little gap in between. You guys can also do that. Let's take this line layer, and let's click on Control T. Okay? And over here, you guys can just decrease the size from top. And also, if you do want to decrease the size from here. You guys can also do that. Okay? So let's click on Enter to transform. This one looks good. And the same way, Control D. And now very carefully. I need to make sure that I do have the line accordingly, okay? So let's keep up the line right over here. And the same way, let's try to keep out that line over here as well. So on side just click on Enter, let's click outside, and this is how it actually looks. Okay? So, if you do want to just group all of this or all the items which you have here, you guys can just group all these items right over here itself. And now let's try to put out some text over here. Okay? Let's just click out. Let's take my text. And here, now, let's type E STD, which is establishment date, and just click on top over here. And what I'm going to do is you are going to select this one, Control T. And now let's choose or let's just select the font first. Okay? Otherwise, let's come here. Let's decrease the size using shift. And once you're done, let's come here. Let's just place this one, or let's just decrease the size to a certain extent. Okay? So I'll just come over here. Let's double click. And after that, let's choose the color as white. Okay? So I'll just choose the color as white, and I will just click on over here. And once you're done, let's click over here as well. So let's click this and let's click on all, and I will just duplicate this right underneath. And after that, let's double click, and let's put up the year it was established. Let's go with 2010. Over here and click onto this icon, and here you guys can see how your logo basically looks like. Okay, now, this one is exactly over here in the middle. You guys can see how it actually works over here, and this all looks quite amazing. And if you don't want to create a group, you guys can select all of this, and let's click on Shift and select all. And to group all of this thing up, let's click on Control G, okay? Over here, you guys can just unlock this layer first. Okay? So once you have unlocked this one, let's select the first layer, and let's go with the last layer with shift. Okay? And now I will just click on Control G to create this particular logo. So I will just name this one as simple logo. And here. Now, if I do want to make any changes later, I will be able to come over here, and I will be able to make our changes around. So just come right over here and the same way. Let's just delay this one. And what I'm going to do is go back. Let's take this one. Let's click on A, and let's place this thing. Right over here. Okay. So let's place this thing right over here. And this one looks a lot better. Okay? A lot more organized. So now let's just come down. All this comes under the logo, if I just close this thing down. And if I don't want to select all this thing all together, here, you guys will be able to see that I will be able to select all of these things all togther. So let's come over here. Al to put this one back again. Let's come on top a little bit. Let's come to this place. And yeah, this looks good. Okay? And lastly, let's select this text. Okay. So I'll just select the text, and I will just give this text up a different color. So let's come here and from here, let me just give this one up a different color. And let's click on right over here. And once this is applied, click on and here. Now, this looks a lot better. To save this particular logo up, what you need to do is you need to come here on top to the file option and from file, make sure to export. After that, you guys can click Export as Option. Once you have this one here, you guys can basically choose in what format are you looking to take this particular logo? Okay. So here you guys can see now already the size is being mentioned, which is 800 into 800, and I want to take it in a PNG format with a transparent background. And all you need to do now is you need to click on Export. Okay? So just click on Export and here it will tell you where do you want to save up this file. So let me just save it up here in my resource file. And let's click on Save And this particular file has been already saved right over here. Now, let's go to file. And from here, let's save this PSD file. Let's click on Saves. Let's go to my textop. Let's go to my resource file, and let's save out the PSD file using which I will be able to change things later. So click on, and this is basically being applied. So, yeah, I hope this class was clear on how to create a simple logo using just text and some shapes. So see you all in the next chapter. Till then, take care and goodbye, everyone. 5. Letter logo design: Hello, everyone, and welcome you all to another chapter of logo design using Photoshop and Illustrator tutorial. So now we are on our Chapter number four, and basically, at first, we are covering the photo shop classes. Okay? So we are on our Chapter number four, and over here, we will be learning about later logo design. Okay? Let's say your company or your entity, they do have some initials. Okay? Let's say their name starts with D and S. So if you do want to combine any letters or you want to combine two or three objects to create a later logo design, how you will be able to do that quite easily in photoshop. We will learn about that. After that, we'll also learn that how you can actually get a mock up of your design itself. So let's not waste time, and let's get started. So over here on my screen, as you guys can see, now I'm here in the home page of Photoshop. So let's try to create a new file before we start working. Let's click on new file right over here, and from here, let's change the name to text Logo. And the orientation is fine. W W and height is over here. I do want a white background, and I'm ready to create my new document. So let's click on Create and over here, you guys can see that now I have my new document right over here. Let me just place it for me that I can work over here properly. And over here if you do want to draw this ruler, let's come here. Let's work up with the ruler over here, and let's go over here, let me just put out the ruler again. Same thing, I will be doing it on the sides. Let's some here, and let's do it right over here on the sides. So now, I'll be making my logo just in between. Okay. So first thing first, what you're going to do is you are first going to take up your text. Okay? So now, you need to think that what kind of texts are you going to take or what using what letters are you going to create your logo? So will it be one letter, will it be two letters, or it will be multiple letters right over here? Okay? So you need to think about that. So for that, now, L et's just click over here once. And now I will just click on Delete. And after that, let me just type A. Okay. And now let's take my selection tool. Let's not select any layer. And again, let's take my text tool and over here. Now I'm going to type B. Okay. So let me just type A and B right over here. And now once you are done, let's take my selection tool again, and let's try to bring this over here in the center. Okay? So the same, let's slick this one, and let's try to bring growth of this over here in the center as well. Okay. So now let's take out this layer. And after that, if you do want to change out the font, over here, now, I will just come into my properties option. And from my properties option, let's check out the font using which I do want to work with. So over here. There are a lot of options. You guys can you let me take this go Tig bold and the same. I will just with this one. Okay? So let's double click over here. Let's go and let's take the Gig bold over here itself. Okay. So let's click on Enter to transform. And if you don't want to zoom in, control plus from your keyboard, and you guys can zoom in quite well. Okay? So if you do want to move out this layer, you guys can come here, and you guys can actually move out all these layers right over here. Okay, so if you do want to move it up, you guys can come here, and you guys can actually move it up right over here. So let me just keep the A on top of the B And here, you guys can just select both this. Let's say, you guys can select and if you don't expand at the same time, you guys can expand as well. Okay, so let's control T over here, let's click on shift, and you guys can just increase the size accordingly. Let's say, I'll just click on shift, and let's increase the size right over here. Let's click on Enter to transform. And now let's zoom out. So I'll just zoom out a little bit. And again, what I'm going to do is I'm going to try to place this right over here in the center. Okay? So if you're not able to do it quite over here. You guys can just go to your libraries, you guys can just come to the properties option. And from here, basically, you guys can actually align those things, okay? So under paragraph over here, if you do want to align here, you guys can see. You do have the alignment option. Let's try to come over here. L et's try to double click. Let's say I will take this layer. Control T, and you guys can just move this thing all along. So let me just put this particular layer right over here. Let me put this layer. And after that, let me just move this one on top a little bit. Okay. And once you're done, let's click on Inter. And at the same time, let's select this control T to transform. Let me just move this one on to this particular side as well. Okay? So let's come here and let me just place it right over here. So now, once you are done with this thing here, now you guys can just change the color of both of these things as well. Okay if you do want to change the color, you guys can also do that. But now, let me just select this layer. And after selecting this layer, you guys can just go to select. And over here, now, you guys can just select all, okay? Let me just click on Select All, and if you don't want to inverse it, you guys can come here and inverse that as well. But the best thing in here will be if you come here into your toolbar, in your toolbar, here, you guys can see that you do have the quick selection tool. Okay? So if you just click right over here, you guys can see they do have selected this particular word for me right over here, okay? And from here, let's click on shift now. And let's click on shift over here and let's create a circle right over here itself. Okay? And now again, I'll take my selection tool, and I will just place it somewhere around here. Okay? So now, once this part is done, over here, now the next thing is basically you applying colors to it, okay? So now I want to just apply some different colors to it. Let's go to ps, and I don't want any stroke for this, okay? So I don't want any stroke. And the same with the other circle, I don't want any stroke, a So now, the logo is almost done over here, as you guys can see. I do have trim these parts down, whatever I needed. I do have actually work with all of this. And the next part is, I come here, and basically, I do create or I do put on some gradient and stuff like that. Okay So for that, if you do want to check out some colors, let's come here. Let's go to my chrome. So from here, let's type for Google Chrome. And from here, let's go to Color hunt. I have told you guys about that particular website. Let's click on Color Hunt. And over here, I want to check out different kind of color pals. Okay? And over here, if you do want to take any of this, Okay, you guys need to come here. And basically, you guys can just come over here. And if you do want to download this image, let's click on that image. And that particular image is being downloaded. Okay? Once this is done, come here. Let's close this one down. Let's say I want to use all the colors present right over here. Let me take another color palette over here as well. If I do want to use it for a different thing, Let's come here and let's type for color. Hunt again, Let's come over here on top, and let's search for the popular palettes. This ph of the popular color pallets over here. From here, let me just take this one, and let me download the image itself. I do have downloaded two kind of color palettes in form of image. Let's close down my browser, and now I do want to place pages right on top that I can sik colors and place it anywhere I want. Okay. So do that, basically. First thing you need to go here and to Manua on top. Let's go to file. And from file over here, you need to place those images. Okay? And how you will place that. There is a option called Place Embedded. Okay? So from there, if you just click on Place embedded, let's go to my downloads. Let me select both of these, or let me just select one first. And let me control minus. And let me just decrease the size from here. And let me place it right over here on top. Let's click on Enter, and the same way. Let's go to file. Let's go to place embedded. Let's take this. Let's click on place, and I do have that particular color pate. Let's click on shift, and let me just decrease the size, and let me just put this image beside this one, and let's click on Enter. So now, here you guys can see that I do have my color palettes, which I do want to use for my logo, but here as well. Okay. So now let's move on to the next part. So here you guys can see that I do have a lot of layers, okay? So if I do want to group those layers, let me just select both of these layers, and let's click on Control G. And let's double click, and I will just name this one as Colors. That I don't get confused. So I'll just put these layers as colors over here, and now let's come here and let's select my A layer first. Once you've selected your A layer, now let's go to this effect. And from here, let's click on Blending options. Okay? Once you're over here in the blending options, here you guys can see there is an option called gradient overlay. Okay. So from the gradient overlay, here you guys can see, I'll check what is the normal blending mode, what is the opacity. But now onto the gradient, I will just double click, and over here, I will just choose out the color, okay? From here, let me just take this one and from here. Let me take this green color, and let's click on. And now, if you do want to add another one. You guys can come here, and you guys can basically add another one. Otherwise, let me just double click and from here, let me just pick out this color and let me click on right over here, and I'll just click on right over here itself. And as this is done, the scaling is fine as well. Me click on over here. And now the next one is let's go to the letter B, which is this one. And now let me add some more colors to it. Okay? So let's come here into the effects again. Let's go to gradient overlay. And let's click on gradient, and let's double click over here. And from here, let me just take out this color. Let's click on, Okay. And lastly, let's click or let's go back once. Let's move this slider. And if you do want to delete it, you guys can come here, and basically, you guys can select this one, and you guys can delete this as well from your keyboard. Okay? So I will just double click over here, and from here, let's take out this color, and this is how it actually looks. So this is how it's turning out. If you do want to give this One up a different option, Let's say instead of radio, if I just go with linear options, that is also fine. Okay. And the same way, I will also apply different things right over here as well. Okay. So let me just double click over here onto this particular shape. And from here, let's go to gradient overlay. And under the grad in overlay, let's double click again. Let's double click right over here. And if you don't want to pick out any color, let me pick this one. And again, let's click on. Let's double click right over here. And let me just pick out the darker shade or let me just go with this particular shade, and let's click on. L et's click over here, and instead of linear, let's go with the radial color. So if you do want to go out with the radial color, but I feel both the colors are looking exactly the same. Okay let's double click and here, otherwise, let's go with a darker color or a darker shade over here, or let's go with a bit of faded one. So I'll just click on over here. Let's click Okay. And I'll just click on, right over here again. And the same way. Now let's select this. And from here, let's try to find out my gradient overlay again. Let's find the gradient overlay again. Let's try to apply some more colors. So let me just click over here, and for the first color, let me just go with this one. Let's click on, and for the second color, let me just go out with a white. Okay? So if you do want to do that, you guys can do that over here as well. Otherwise, if you just want to swap sides, you guys can also do that right over here itself. Okay? So let me just come over here. Otherwise, let me just place it and let me just place up the whites over here itself. Let's click on. And if you do want to change it, you guys can come here, and you guys can change this right over here as well. And if you do want to scale it up, or let's say 90 degrees and you just scale it up quite a bit. You guys can also do that. Otherwise, instead of going with radiant color, if you try to go with some simple color, you guys can also do that. Let's click on, and over here also, I will just go with some simple looking color over here. Okay? Let's click on. Let's click over here and let's choose out this ellipse. Okay? Otherwise, let's cancel this one over here, if you do want me to select. Let's select this one. And from here, now, I will just turn off my gradient overly. Let's select this. And if you do want to turn it off, guys can come here, and basically, you guys can turn it off and just go with the color overlay. Okay? So I will just click on, right over here, and this is being basically applied. Let's go to feel, and from here, let me just keep out those colors as well. And now, again, if you do want to give this one any kind of stroke, in that case, you guys can come here, and you guys can apply some strokes over here as well. Okay? So let me just select this later. On this reticular letter, let's go to the blending options. And from blending options here, you guys can see that I do have the option of stroke. Okay? If you do want to go with something dark, let's click on, and instead of one, let's go with three, and let's click on right over here. Let's choose the B layer. Same way, let's go to blending options. Let's click on stroke directly. And from here, instead of one, let's go with two or let's type three itself. Otherwise, two was fine, and I will just change up the color to black. So I'll just do that and the same way, let's come here. And I'll just click on, Okay, let's choose this layer or this particular ellipse and let me just put out a stroke over here as well. Okay. So let's come here and from here, let's go to this option. Let's put on stroke. Let's select stroke over here, and from here, let's go with two, and the same way, let's come here. Let's go to the effects. Let's go to blending options. And from here, now I will again go to stroke. And I will just put on two over here as well. So once you're done, here, you guys can see that I do have a stunning logo over here on my screen. If you do want to add on some shadows to it, you guys can come here and basically add on some drop shadows itself. Okay? So let me just choose the layer A and a B. And after that, what I'm going to do is I'm just going to dielect this layer. Let's select B and L et's select A using control. So let's select B. Let's click on Control and let's select A. And if you do want to apply some, you guys can come here, and you guys can do that. If you do want to link layers, okay, you guys can come here, and you guys can link layers together as well. Okay? So over here, if you do want to work, Okay, you guys can come here, and you guys can work with these layers as well. Let's click on drop shadow. And let's check how this radicular drop shadow basically works. Okay? So if you do want to increase the opacity, you guys can increase the opacity a little bit. And over here, you guys can just decrease the distance and decrease the spread, and also you guys can decrease the size. But now you guys can actually come here and maybe put this one around 28. Let's decrease the size over here. Let's just decrease the spread. And also let's just put out the distance around 12. I'll just put out the distance around 12. Let's try to move this one around 18. And over here for size, let me go with six. The size six is fine. Let's click on over here, and the same thing I will apply over here as well. Okay into the B level. Let's go to effects. From here, let's click on drop shadow, and just apply the same thing. So you can come around right over here. Now, let me just decrease the distance. Maybe I'll just keep it somewhere over here, and you guys can just increase the spread a little bit. And if you do want to decrease the size. And at the same time, just change the opacity maybe around 20. Okay? So I'll just change it. Let's click on Enter, and this is being applied quite well. So after that, if you do want to check out or if you do want to group everything, so let's come here. Let's select all of this and control G to group. And now I will name this one as text logo. And once this is done, now, the next part is, you want to see how it actually looks. Okay? So to do that, let's come here and let's open up a mockup file. So you guys can go to your search engine and from there basically, you guys can go to free pig.com. There are also other websites from where you guys can actually download different kind of mockup files. Okay. So in that case, you guys can do that. And now, for me, I will just click on file. Let's click on Open. And over here, let's go to Dextop. From Dextop, let's select my resource file. And from my resource file, let's search for the PSD file. Okay. So over here, you guys can see. I do have this file. Let's open it up. So over here, you guys can see that I do have opened up my file right over here. And once you have done, let's double click onto this rasterized layer, and here you guys can see. I'll just click on, over here. And now let's turn this one off. And what you're going to do is, you are going to take out the logo which you have designed, and you're going to take this logo right over here and basically paste it. So control And let's increase the size using shift, and let's come here. Let's just place it or try to place it over here in the center. Okay. Let's try to place it over here in the center. And once you are done, let's place it over here in the center, let's click on transform. And once this particular part is basically done, or let's say I do have left out something. Okay. So over here, let's check out my layers. And from here, I guess I do have left out a few of the thing. Okay? So if I just move this one up, here controls it again, and let's select or let's try to select each and everything over here, including the ps, and I want to move those things apart. Okay? So if you do want to move this thing, let's come here, and here you guys can have that layer right over here. Let me just select this one, and let's click on Delete on the same way. Let's click this one, and let's click on Delete. Now, let's try here, and let's try to move this thing up. Okay, I do have this particular text layer. Let's try to move this thing up. And let me just place it over here again. Otherwise, let's first increase the size. Control T. Let's try to increase the size quite. Let me try to put it over here in the center. Let's click on transform option. Let's select this one, and let me it right over here, C and let's click on shift to move it up. And let me just skip it right over here in the center. And let's click on Enter on the same way, Control T, and let's click on shift to increase its size as well. Now, let me just move this one right over here itself. Let's click on transform. Now, let's place it right over here. So now, once this is done, okay, so this particular part is basically done. And now let's close this one. And what you're going to do is you're going to save this file. Let's click on File. And over here, I will just click on Save. Otherwise, I can just click on Control A from my keyboard as well. And once you are okay with this one, let's go to file, and I will just click on Close. Okay, so I will click on Close. And here you guys can see how your logo basically looks on this particular mockup. Okay? So Ctrol blood to check out, how your logo turned out, and so on looks quite amazing. So yeah, I hope class was clear, how you will be able to create a logo. And after that, how you will also be able to get a mock up of your logo as well. Lastly, to export this file, let's go to file. Let's click on Export, and I'll just click on Quick Export as PNG. And let me just name this one as Letter logo. Letter logo. And from here, let's click on save and it will be saved. And lastly, let's take out this file. Let's go to file. Let's go to Export, and let's quick Export as PNG, and I'll name this one as letter Logo Mock. And let's click on safe and this curricular file is being saved as well. Yeah, I hope to see you all in the next chapter. Till then, take care and goodbye, everyone. I. 6. Using pen tool in your logo design: Hello, everyone, and welcome you all to another chapter of logo design, using Photoshop and Illustrator. So now we are on our Chapter number five, where I'll be showing you guys by using Pin tool in your logo design. So still we are into our photoshop. So we'll be learning how to use your Pin tool in Photoshop itself. So let's not waste time, and let's get started. So over here on my screen, as you guys can see, now I'm here in the home page of the photo shop. So let's click on file, and from here, let's click on new, and let's create up a new file where we will be working. Let's name this one as a Pento L et's delete this one, and let's type Pen tool Logo. And everything else is good to go, and I'll just click on Create, which will create me this particular new document. First thing, first, let's come here and let me just put out my lers. The same way. Let's place it over here. Let's place this over here as well. And lastly, I will place down as well. Let me just place it down right over here as well. So now, let's say you know how to draw. Okay? So let's say if you know how to draw, you draw it in your paper and take a picture of that and make sure to upload it to your panel over here and make it a layer. And after that, you guys can go to your layers panel, and from your layers panel, what you guys can do, you guys can just come here and just decrease the opacity. And what it will do is you guys log that one, and it will turn into a template on top of which you guys can use your penol and work with that Okay. So let me just show you guys a small example with that. Okay? So let's come here. And from here, let me just create up a new layer. So now I do have my layer number one. And what I'm going to do is I'm going to come here into my tool bar. And from my tool bar, let's take my brush tool. And the shortcut key for that is B. So I'll take my brush tool over here, and I'll just make sure what size do I want to choose. So I will just take a size three, and I will just take what kind of brush do I want to use. So let's say hard round brush over here. And now, let's try to create some shapes. Okay? So let's come here and over here. I will just try to create some boomer and kaa shape. Okay? So it doesn't need to be exactly perfect, but some perfect is also fine. Let me just come here and let me just put let me just put up a sharp edge over here as well. So somewhat, I do have a boomerang kind of a shape. Okay? So now once you're done, let's come here. And from here, now let's add up a new layer. So I do have this layer number two on top of my layer number one. And in layer number one, what I'm going to do is I'm going to change its opacity to 50%. Okay? So I'll just change its opacity to 50% right over here. And now I will go to my layer number two, and I'm going to work with my pin to right over here. Let's take my pen tool from here and now let's try to create this shape. Now, let's keep one right over here. Otherwise create one layer right over here, and next over here. What I'm going to do is, I'm going to come here. Otherwise controls it to go back. And let's go back over here again. Let's come back and from here. Let's go back again. It's just snapping and let's take this shape. And from here, if you want to create another shape, you guys can also do that right over here itself. Let me just take out another shape. Otherwise, Spun back from here and from this tion, let's try to create one. Again, right over here. If you want to make our shape, you can do here and you basically create our shape like this. Strip this shape over here. And lastly, let's come here, and let's create out this shape as well. Okay? So over here, you guys can see that I do have created this shape. And if you want to make any changes, let's come here and let's change the convert 0.2. Okay. If you want to convert this particular point in some different shapes, you guys can come here, and you guys can basically do that. Okay. So over here, you guys can see this one, and once I'm done, Now, the next thing is, let's get my pain tool itself. And from here, I will just right click. And from here, now I will just go with field path. I need to make sure this is for ground color, and I will just click on, Okay, but here you guys can see that I'm having some problem right over here, okay? Because I don't want my background to be colored, but instead, I want my shade to be colored in black. Okay? But now let's come here, and let's see what is the problem. Controls it to go back. And now let's right click over here. Now I will just take up a look on the top. And here you guys can see. From here, I will select combined shapes instead of subtract front shape. So I'll just click on combined shapes right now. And again, I'll just follow the same path. Let's go to feel path over here. Now, I'll just click on, and here you guys can see that I do have this particular shape right here. Okay. So once I do have this particular thing, let's select this particular layer. And let's delete the layer number one. Okay? So over here, I do have my layer number one, and I do have deleted that particular layer over here. Let's right click. Otherwise, let's go to this layer two, let's right click. And if you do want to delete this path, you guys can come here, and you guys can just delete the path from here as well. And now, once you have created this one, this is now a ship you guys can see. You guys can basically move this thing around. Let's select this one. Let's click on A, and here you guys can see that I do have duplicate this one as well. Okay? You have duplicate this one f. Now you guys can just right click, and you guys can basically work with that. If you want to actually rasterize this layer. You guys can also do that right over here itself. Okay? So you guys will be able to do that Control T. And after clicking Control T, if you do want to flip it horizontally, you guys can come here, and you guys can basically flip it horizontally right over here as well. Okay? So now, let's click on Enter Control minus. And here you guys can see how this things basically looks. Okay? So here you guys can just place this one. Over here, and at the same time, control T, if you do want to give this one up a rotation. Okay let me just go with a rotation of 30 degree. Over here, let's click on Enter, and let's click on Enter for the transformation as well. And also, now, I'll just take and I'll just click on Control T. And now over here, let me just give this one a rotation of 30 as well. Okay, so I will just come here or maybe it's going to look something like that. Okay. So I'm just going to transform this one, the same one, control T and Maybe I will just give this one up a rotation right over here as well. Now once this is done, here, let's take both of this layer and here, just move this one a bit down. Now this part is actually done. You guys are done working with both of this layer. And as you're going to use both of these layers, at the same time, just select both of these and make sure to right click and from here, you guys can actually merge layers. Okay? So I'll just merge both of these layers, and I will just double click and name this one as middle. As this is going to be the middle part. So as this is done here, the first part is done. And now let's align it. Okay. If you do want to align it, you guys can come here, select this layer. Let's align it right over here in the center and right over here in the center as well. Otherwise, you guys can just click on Control A. And from here, now let's move it on the center. And let's move this one on the center as well. Okay. So now again, control D to D select So basically, the next step over here is, I want to take or draw up a line over here on the site. Okay. So for that, let's create up a new layer, and I will just go to this layer, and if you do want to name it, otherwise, let me just name it later as well. Okay, because I will be merging layers over here. So let's take this layer number one, and from here, now in the toolbar, I will select my elliptical market tool. So I'll just select my elliptical market tool right over here. And let's t on **** and over here, let's take or let's create market, or a elliptical tool right over here. And once you are done, you guys will click on Control. A or let's go back. And what you're going to do is if you do want to place it right over here in the center, you guys can come here, and you guys can now place it exactly over here in the center as well. So now you need to make sure you just right click and let's go to stroke from here. And under stroke, here you guys can select how much you do want the width. Let's go with 25, here you will select, where do you want it. Let's go with outside. And I'll just click on Enter and here you guys can see how it actually looks. Okay? So once you are done, over here now, let's click on Control D. To DCL. And here you guys can see that you do have this particular shape. Okay? So now you do have this shape. If you do want to decrease it, let's come over here and again, let's go back. Let's just right click over here. From here, let's go with stroke, and instead of 25, what if I take 15 from here, and let's click on Enter. And here, this is how the 151 looks. Okay? Again, control d2d select. And the next thing is, you guys just duplicate this particular layer. Okay So control D And if you do want to duplicate here. You guys can just click on Alt, okay? So you guys can just click on Alt using the selection tool. Otherwise, you guys can just click on control F right over here, like control C Control F. Okay, Control C and Control F right over here, which will also help you to create on. I totally depends up to you. Let's come over here. Otherwise, also, you can go to this layer, right click, and you guys can click on duplicate layer. Name and a thing, click on Okay, and this particular layer has been duplicated as well. Okay? And if you want to increase the size control D to transform, and if you just click on shift and lt at the same time, it will just increase size from the sides, a So you guys can come here and you guys can increase the size on the side. Otherwise, it will just put this one over here in the center. Okay? So you guys can come here. You guys can just work. And once you're done, let's click on Enter over here. And from the eraser tool, what you guys can do is you guys can just select the size. Let me just go with 23, a. And over here, you guys can just erase this up. So from here, let's control plus, and you guys can use this eraser tool quite well. Okay. And both of these layers are being merged. Okay? And lastly, let's come here. Let's go to the blending options. And from the blending options, you guys can actually give out a drop shadow. Okay? You guys can come here, and you guys can just give out a drop shadow of 12. And if you do want to increase the spread, you guys can come here and increase the spread. And I will just decrease the size, maybe 23. And if you do want to work on with the noise, you guys can come here and click on, right over here, and this particular logo looks quite nice, okay? And the same thing, if you do want to see it in other background, you guys can also do that right over here, okay? So now from here, let's try to arrange this one in the center. And for that, what I'm going to do is I'm going to click on Control A. And once you have clicked on Control it, let's come here. Let's align it over here in the center. Let's align it over here as well and Control D to D select. And if you do want to click on Control T to transform, let's click on shift and over here, you guys can basically transform it into a particular size. Okay. So let's right click over here, and now again, Control A. And now let's align over here exactly into the center of my page. Okay? So now, control D again to D select. And as this is done, now let's go to file. And let's go to Export. Let's click on Quick Export as PNG. Let's go to my desktop. From here, let's go to my resource file, and I'll save this one as a pen to logo. So let's save it up. And that file is basically being saved as a PNG. So yeah, I hope you all have understood how you can use the brush tool to create some shapes, then how you will be able to use the Pen tool and also expand, select, and also apply different da effects over here from your logo. So See you all in any other chapter, where we'll be learning about Illustrator and making logos in Illustrator. So take care, everyone. See you all in the next chapter. 7. Introduction to logo designing in Adobe Illustrator: Hello, everyone, and welcome you to another chapter of the Logo design using Photoshop and Illustrator Tutorial. So now we are on our Chapter number six, where I'll be giving you guys an introduction to Logo designing in Illustrator. So we had learned about different kind of logo designing in Photoshop. Now we'll jump into Illustrator, and let's see how you will be able to create different stunning logos using Illustrator. Well, both of are the same parent company software, which is Adobe. One is Ado B Photoshop and another one is Audob Illustrator. But in many cases, they are a bit different to use. So they do have their own benefits. So over here, we will be learning about that in detail. Okay? But if you know one software, it's easy for you to learn the other one as well, because so many concepts are same. In most of the Adobe software, it's kind of like that. So let's not waste time, and let's get started. So the topic over here is logo designing with Illustrator. And first of all, in this tutorial, we will be exploring the art of creating magical logos using Adobe Illustrator. Okay? So we will be learning a lot about the particular software itself and also the age and its importance in creating some of the stunning logos used professionally. Okay. So get ready to unleash your creativity and learn some awesome design tricks. And over here now, the first thing, what we are going to look at is we will be understanding illustrator basics. Okay? So before learning anything or any kind of designing in detail, we need to have a clear idea about the basics. So we will be also focusing on the basics. Okay, I'll be telling you guys about that. So we will basically cover what are the essential illustrator tools. Okay? Once you open up a new document in Illustrator or a new file, you guys will see on the left hand side, you do have a tool bar. And in that tool bar, there are very different kind of tools, okay? So we will learn how to use those tools in the process of logo designing. What are the tools that are most important in case of logo designing over here and also different kind of techniques, which can be used using those, okay? So we will learn how you can turn shapes to text, okay, or different kind of texts to a shape. Okay? We will lay the groundwork for your logo magic journey. So the next thing we will look is crafting, captivating logos, okay? So first, we will get the understanding of the secrets of effective logo design. Let's say there is a foot company told you to make a logo for them, they gave you the theme color. Maybe they gave you some concept as well. But in a foot company, if you're adding a tree without any restaurant or without any touch of food, only you do provide with some other things, let's say, not anything related to the food, that won't give a clear concept to the people who are actually looking at the logo. Maybe with the first glance, they should understand, okay, this might be a food company or this might be Vent capital company or this might be a delivery company. Okay? So by looking at your logo, they should understand that what is your service or what your company basically does, okay? So in Building that mindset to the consumer. The designer of the logo plays a very vital part, okay? And also the type of color you're using, the type of fonts, or the typography that you're using. And also, while you're creating that, you need to understand one thing that you need to balance the visual impact to create logos, that will stay for a long time with the consumer or the customer. Okay? So once they look at your logo, maybe if they look at your logo or if they see your logo somewhere else, they will be able to recall that ok, I did see this critical logo somewhere. Okay, so you need to have that visual balance between the colors you use, the typography you use, and the design you lay down, okay? So that was about crafting, captivating logos. And the next point is harnessing the power of symbols. Okay? So over here, we will unleash the potential of illustrator symbol tools, okay? So over here, we will be able to use different shapes. And also, there are different symbols which we will be able to use in Illustrator as well, whether it be in the toolbar or you are actually placing that predicular symbol in your logo by exporting or by importing that one into your document. Okay, so we will create versatile and scalable logo elements. Okay? So there is a major difference between photoshop and illustrator. In Illustrator, we do basically work with vector layers. Okay? So what is vector layer and what is the rasterized layer? Well, rasterized layer is the layers which are present in photoshop. Okay. So once you increase the size of a rasterized layer, you guys will see that the pixels it basically breaks. Okay? It actually decreases the quality. But While we're working with vector layers. What happens is if you're just increasing the size, In that particular case, the quality of the logo or the design, it's not decreasing. Okay? So that is the difference between vector and rasterized layer, and both have their advantages and disadvantages, depending on the work, depending on the scenarios as well. So we'll create versatile and scalable logo items, and master the art of creating iconic symbols for your designs. Okay? So sometimes you need to make sure that you create some iconic design, let's say with your pen tool, or whether be with your shape tool using the shape builder tool by joining more than one shapes altogether. You guys can also do that And the next point is logo magic in action. Okay? So we'll explore the real world examples of logo redesigns and transformations and witness the impact of strategic design decisions and the evolution of the brand identity. Okay? So in today's world, we will be looking at different logos of different company. Okay? So that it's mean by real world examples. There are so many big companies, like, there are Starbucks. There is Adidas, there is Nike. There is Tesla, there is Adi Mercedes. If you just take a look on all of their logos, they do have quite a unique logo at the colors which you have used. Actually, they complement with each other. Okay, Sometimes they do have some simple logos. If they do have some complicated logos as well. In that case, what happens is the color distribution throughout the logo, is quite different and quite stunning. Okay? So here it says that we should take idea from the real world examples. So we need to take examples from them, and maybe we should redesign those in such a way that we're not just copy pasting, but we're just taking some idea of how it's done. Okay? So we will actually do that. And after that, you guys can just discuss with few other people. You can discuss with your client or with your team to get a strategic design decision and which will increase the brand identity among the people. Okay. And now the next point is some of the advanced techniques and some of the advanced tips. Okay? So take your logo magic to the next level with advanced illustrated tips from custom brushes to effects, will delve into the realm of sophisticated designs. Okay? So we will learn that how you can use some of the custom brushes and different effects to make your logo more amazing and to look quite better. We'll be learning about all that over here into coming classes when we dive into the world of creating logo in Illustrator. And now the next point is navigating logo design challenges. Okay? So over here, we need to learn how to tackle common logo design challenges with confidence. Okay okay? Let's say you're working with a team or you're working with the client directly. So in that case, there are certain problems which you'll face while working, okay? Maybe the client will tell that, okay, this kind doesn't look good, I need to change this, I need to change that. And in that particular point, you will feel like, a, that's quite hectic, okay? I don't feel like doing this. But always remember to face those challenges with confidence, okay, and always try to have a good conversation with your client and at the same time, get feedback to design the revisions. So what I mean by that is once you have done some work, let's say they told you to design something. First, you just draw a design of your own, otherwise, do 30% of the work, and just send a sample to your client that is the color okay. Is the color combination which I'm using is okay. Keep on a regular touch with your client, and it will just create a good relationship between you and the client itself. And make sure to get their feedback on what they're telling. Okay? If they tell that, okay, just make sure to use this color instead of the red color, make sure to use the blue instead of the red. Make sure to do that. Otherwise, if you do have some more ideas, you guys just share it with L et him choose whatever he wants and get feedback from them, and also from your team and also other designers as well. So here, in this particular chapter or tutorial, we will be equipping you with the practical solution which you might face in the world of logo designing. Okay? And lastly, I like to say let's now go forth and create some spell bending logos that captivate and inspire your graphic designing journey, okay? So I hope to see you all in the next chapter. Where we'll be learning a lot about designing in Illustrator. Take care, everyone. See you all in the next chapter. 8. Streetwear logo design: Hello, everyone, and welcome you to another chapter of logo design using Photoshop and Illustrator Tutorial. So now we are getting started with Illustrator logo designs. Okay? We do have learned about photoshop logo design. In last class, I have showed you that what we are going to explore in Illustrator. Okay. So the first topic in that is streetwear logo design. I'll be showing you guys how you can actually design a logo of a streetwe. So let's not waste time, and let's get started. So here, on my screen, as you guys can see, now I'm here in the home page of the Auto B Illustrator. Okay? So this is the home page over here, you will be able to create a new file and also from the Mnuva, and also from here as well. Okay. So let's click on New File. And once you click over here onto the New File option, you will basically get a page quite like this. Okay. But over here on basically the right hand side, you will get more options of creating up a new document, like what is going to be the size of that document, and if you do want to use this presets as well, you guys can do that. So let me come here. Let me name this one as street where or let's go street where logo. And from here, I will be able to select the width and the height of the page using which I'll be working on. Okay? So from here, let's come with 1920 to 1080. Okay. So let's put 1920 into 1080 pixels, okay? So over here, I will be taking this one. And if you do want the orientation of your page in a portrait, here you guys can see Auto, the width of the page have changed to 280, and the height have changed to 1920. And if you guys don't know about bland, this is the red lining just outside. So if you're planning to Green something. In that case, you guys can just take a bled of maybe five is fine. Check your color, what kind of color mode you're going to work on. Let me take the RGB color mode. And once you're done, let's click on Create, which will create this particular page right over here. And before starting to work here, on the left hand side, you guys can see that you do have this document properties, and if you do want to work on with the rulers and guide, make sure to turn on the ruler. And after that, make sure that your smart guide is on, okay? So now let's put out the ruler right over here. Let me just put this one up. Okay. Let me just place it right over here. Place one right over here. And on sides, you guys can come here and basically put things over here onto the side. Let's go with free, and let's come here. Let's put this word right over here as well. Let me put it right over here. Now, What I'm going to do is, I'm going to basically work on with my logo just over here in this central position. Okay. So first, think, first, over here, if you just take a look on the toolbar, you guys can see that there are various tools using which you guys can work on, okay? So throughout this tutorial, we will be exploring a lot about that. But first, let's come here. Let's click on my type tool, and over here, there are different type tools, okay? Like if you do want to type vertically as well, you guys can do that, if you want to type inside area. Let's say you do have already drawn a shape, and you want to type inside that, you guys can use the area type tool. But for me, I'll just take out the normal type tool. If I just click once, here you guys can see that I do have by text. Okay the same way, you guys can come here and basically increase the text from here, let's say, let me just increase maybe to around 130, and you guys can actually increase the size from here itself. Okay? So let's come here. Let's just place it somewhere over here. Let's select all of this. And once you've selected this thing up, let's come here and let's check out what type of font are you going to use. Over here, there are a lot of font, and before that, let me just change up by text. As I'm making a street ware logo, let's put streetw itself or let's type. Street age. Let me just type. Street range. This is the thing which I'm going to work on with. Now again, let's select this one. And let's try to take one nice kind of a font which I'm going to use. I can use Gel sands ultra bold. But let's try to explore a lot more right over here. Okay. So let's come here, here you guys can check. And here you do have this as well. Okay. So if you do want to ce down, here, you guys can just come down as well. Okay. So over here, check this one out as well. And once you're done, let's click onto this one. And now let's place this one right over Okay. So I will just place this thing right over here. And now, once you are happy with the font which you have used, if you do want to increase the spacing between the letters. Again, you need to come here, you need to double click, and over here, you guys can see there are a lot of options. So from here, basically, you guys need to work with this meticular option, which is the tracking, increases the space between the letters. Okay, let me just go with a 20 right over here. Okay, so I'll just go with 20 over here. Now, let's come here. And from here, let's take my shape two. And from here, I will take my Ellipse two. So the shortcut key for the Ellipse two is L from a keyboard. Let's click on this one. And now let's try to create kind of a oval shape. And et's come here. Let's try to create al shape quite like this. Okay. So over here, I will just create this shape. Now let's take this shape, and let's place it just underneath this one, I'll just place this underneath my next. And I'll just right click from here and once you right click here under transform you to have an option called range. Okay? And from range, I will click on bring to front, and the shortcut key for that is a shift plus control plus a square bracket. Okay. Closing square bracket over here. So I'll just click on bring to front. And now the next thing is, let's come here and let's select both of this, okay? So I will just select both of these altogether. And now once you've selected both of this, let's come over here on top. And from here, I will go to my menu. Let's go to object, and from object, let's come here. And let's go to this And, before that, what I'm going to do is I'm going to come here, and I want to make a duplicate of this. Okay? For that, let's click on Alt, and let's keep the duplicate just underneath. And again, let's select both of this object with shift. Let's go to the menu. Let's go to object, and from here, let's go to envelope dest. And from Envelope Distort, I will click on make W Top object, okay? And the shortcut key for that is old plus Control plus C from your keyboard. And now once I do have typed this thing down, here you guys can see that I do have this kind effect right over here. Okay? So you guys can basically create this kind of logo right over here. And after that, let me just place this one over here on top. And from here, let's increase the stroke by two, but at the same time, I will just go to the field option. And now I will just turn of the color. And now let's increase the size of the stroke. Okay. So I'll just increase the size of the stroke. And at the same time, what I'm going to do is I'm going to click on shift and Alt, Okay. And I will try to increase the size from here. Okay? So as you guys can see, this is how it will basically look like once you increase the size from both the sides. Let's click on shift and old and proportionally, I will just decrease the size from here. Okay? So here, as you guys can see, Now, this is how my logo basically looks like. Okay? So once this is done, the next thing is, if you do want to add more text to it, okay? So now, from here, let's take my text tool again. And under the text tool, let's come here and let's click once. And from here, let's type E STD, And once you've written this one, now let's take this particular font. And if you do want to change up the font, let's double click over here. And from here, basically, you will be able to change up the font. Okay? So let's come here. Let's just decrease the size of the font. Okay. So let me just keep this one right over here. And let me just place this thing. Again over here in the center. Okay? So I will just keep this one over here in the center. And after that, now let's click on Alt. And now let's just bring it exactly at the very center where I do have placed it. Okay? So over here, you guys can Actually, do that. Let me come here. And if I just take this one, and if I do want to align it, let's come here. Let's try to align it align horizontally, and let's align it right over here itself. Let's bring this one down. And at the same time, let's come here. And now let's try to bring both of this again over here at the center as well. But now let's select both of this object, a? And now let's click on Control G to group this thing. And now the next part is over here. I do want to align according to my logo, which I have right over here. Okay. So let's select this one, and if you do want to ungroup this as well, let's ungroup this one and over here, now, let's just increase the size up a little bit. Let's come here. Let's increase the size or let's decrease the size bit over here. And this one kind of looks good. And let's try to keep this thing over here in the center. Okay? So before that, now I do have established, and over here, I will just type the date. Okay? So let's go with 999 over here, and now, let's take my selection too. Okay? So from here, again, let's take both of this. Okay. Let's come here, let's select both of this, and let's group both of this Tig. Okay? So once you have selected both of this, now let's come here, and I will just select a line to selection. Okay. So from this option, let's place it right over here. Let's select this one. And now let's come here. Let's try to place this thing just on top as well. Okay? So over here, I will just keep up the same spacing. Over here, if you do want to change out the colors, you guys can come here, and you guys can basically change out the colors as well. Okay? So once this is done, now, if you do want to come here. And if you do want to give this star tool. Let's use this one over here. Let's take out this particular star from here. And what I'm going to do is I'm going to come here. I will just click on Alt, and I will just place it right over here back again. Okay. So let's come here. Let's just place it over here. And once this is done, let's come here, let's select the star. And what you're going to do is, you're going to click on Control C. And now you're going to click on Control F right over here. Now, let's click on Shift Alt, and let's decrease the size up a little bit. Okay? So I will just decrease the size up a little bit over here. And under feel, I do want to give this one up a white color. Okay? So just give this one up a white color, and here you guys can see how it actually looks. And instead of doing it the same way over here, let's select both of this. Let's group it up. And now, let's come here. Let's delete this one. Let's click on Alt, and let's move this one right over here in one side. Okay. So let's come here. Let's just place this one over here in one side. And yeah, this one kind of looks good. Okay. And once you are done, let's try to arrange this one. Okay. So yeah. This is basically done. If you do want to group this one up, you guys can come here, and you guys can basically group this one as well. Okay. So for that, now here, also, you do have layers, okay? And if you don't see it, right over here, you guys can go to your menu, go to windows, And from your windows, you guys can just click onto the layers option. And under here, you guys can see that there are a lot of options over here. Okay. So under this layer option here, you guys can see there are a lot of things. And now the next thing is, if you want to create up a new layer, let's say, I am over here in my layer number two. So over here, as you guys can see, now I'm here in the home page of Ab Illustrator. So let's click on to New file, right over here, and let's name this one as simple logo. Let me just click on Create, which will create me this pedicula artboard. And once I do have this one, let's get my ruler from here. And now let's put out the ruler over here itself. So let me just put it out right over here. Et's come down from here. Let me just place this thing right over here. Let me just put out a size over here as well. And lastly, I will just put my ruler right over here as well. Okay? So once you're done, let's go to my left hand side of my screen. And from here, let's go to my shape tools, okay? And from my shape tool, now there are different ways of how you can actually create up a shape. Let's say if I just come here, and if I just click over here once, here, I will be able to select the width at the height of the rectangle or any other shapes. Okay let me come here. Letter logo design: Hello, everyone, and welcome you all to another chapter of Logo Design using Photoshop and Illustrator. So now we are on our Chapter ten, where I'll be showing you guys a later logo design in Illustrator. So we'll be learning how you can actually design a logo using a single letter. So let's not waste time, and let's get started. So over here, as you guys can see, now I'm here in the home page of Illustrator. First thing, first, let's create up a new file. Okay? So I'll just click on new file over here and let's name this one as Letter. Logo. And the width and the height is fine. Let me just increase my blade instead of five to ten. And let's click on Create over here, and the art board is basically being created for me. Okay? So now let's come here onto the property spanel. Let's turn on my ruler. And over here, I need to make sure that my smart guide is on. And I'll come here, and I will just put out my ruler on all the four sides. Okay? So let's bring this ruler over here, and now let's go on top and let's put it right over here. And after that, let's put it right over here itself. Okay. So over here, as you guys can see, this is basically done. Okay. So now the next part is creating the letter logo. Okay? So first thing, first, instead of taking letter, I'm going to create some letter using the shapes. Okay? So let me just take this rectangle two, and let's come here and let's create this pedicular line, or let's create this rectangle box. Let's increase the stroke. Okay. Let's give it a stroke of two. And also, if you do want to work on with the fiel, let me just give this pedicular fiel. So now again, let's take my selection tool. Let's click on Alt and let's duplicate it right over here. So I'll just duplicate it right over here. Again, let me just duplicate this one. And after that, what you're going to do is you're going to come here and you're going to place one just in between. So I'm going to make the letter H over here. So now from here, what I'm going to do is, I'm going to take this one, and let me just give this up a rotation. Okay? Otherwise, what you guys can also do is just select all these three. And from here, let's go to a line option. And let's go to this distribute option right over here and make sure to distribute all of those properly. Okay? I will just distribute all these things properly right now, and let's come here and let's elect this, and let's give this up a rotation. Okay? So I will try to give this up a 90 degree rotation right over here, and I will love to just place it right over here. Okay, so I will just place it right over here. And let's select this one up, and let's change the feel. Okay? So let me just not put any feel over here. And the same way, let's select this, and I will just select no feel and also right over here. Let's try to select no feel as well. Okay? So once you're done, let's come here and let's select all of this. And let me just keep this thing right over here in the center. Okay? So once you're done with this particular part, let's take this path, and here, you guys can see that here you do have all these options, okay? So if you do want to change the radius, okay, you guys can come here, and you guys can just double click. And over here, you guys can just change out the radius from here. Okay? So this is how you guys can basically change out the radius, and let's double click from here. And here also, you guys will be able to change out the radius from these particular sites. Okay. So now let's select this particular path once you have changed the radius. Let's go to this object option. And from here, basically, you guys can Go to this path option. And from path, you need to make sure to go to the offset path option. Okay, over here now, you guys can just go to this Oset path option right over here. And instead of ten, if I just go with eight, and let's check out the preview right from here. This looks good, okay? So I will just click on, right over here. And after that, now let's select all of it. And from here, So once you have selected all of this, let's go to my toolbar and from my toolbar, let's select the shape builder tool. Okay? So over here now, as I do have the shape builder tool, I am going to create a shape right over here as you guys can see. And the same way, let's go here. Okay, so I do want to create this shape. And also, I am going to create this particular shape right over here. Okay? So now as this is done, now let's take my selection tool again. And now let's select outside. Let's say I will just take out this path or let's say I'm going to come here, and let's try to zoom in, and let's see over here as well. Okay? So from here, if you don't want to select any part, you guys can also delete that. So for that, again, select all of this. Now, let's take my Shape builder to. Let's click on Alt, and I can just delete this pedicula part. Okay? So I will just delete this cdcular part right over here. And also, let's delete this spot. Okay? And from here, now let's take this spot, and I will just delete this one as well. And lastly, let me just delete this particular part from here as well. So this one kind of looks good. Now let's go back. And from here, if you do want to change out the colors, you guys can come here, and you guys can change up the color. At the same time, let's come here, let's select up this path. Let's say I will just select this path. And from here, if you just take my direct selection too, so I will be able to change that. If I just come here, if I just double click. Now let's click on, and from here, I will just change it from one angle. And the same way, let's come here. And I will just select this one. Let's select this part and give this one up a curve. And let's select this particular path, a, let's come here. Let's select this one. Now, if I take my selection tool, and if you do want to move this one up a little bit, you guys can come here, and you guys can basically do that, okay? So let's come here from here, let's take this particular path, and you guys can just work with all those options over here as well. Okay. So as this is done, let's come to this option. And from here, now let's try to give these things up different color. So let's go to fill, and from here, let's try to explore the library. So let's go with metal. And here, once I have this one, let's try to give this thing up some different colors. Okay? So let's take this one. Let's go with this color. And lastly, let's come here and let's give out this particular color over here as well. And once this is done, let's try to get this one and increase the size from here, let's just place it right over here, and you guys can see this is how it looks. And using shift, if you want to select all of it, let's come here. Let's just select all this. And if you do want to decrease the stroke, you guys can come here, and you guys can just decrease the stroke altogether. Okay? So let's come here and if you do want to decrease the stroke as well, you guys can come here and basically decrease the stroke altogether. And if you do Let's come here. Let me just put 0.1. Same way, let's go with 0.1 over here. Lastly, let's go with 0.1 over here as well. Now I will just select this one. And let me just skip this thing over here in the center. Now, you guys can actually put up a rectangle just on top of this one. Let's come here. And let me just put this one. Like this and after that, now let's come here. Let's change its color. Let me just go with this one, right click and just go to a range, and I will just click on sent two B. If you don't want to group it up, you guys can come here, and you guys can just group this icons up as well. Let's click on shift. Let's select this. And lastly, let's select this path, and I can just group all of this thing up. Now what I can do is I can position it inside, let's say, I will come here and just inside, I will just position it exactly over here in the center. Okay? So at the same time, if you do want to decrease the size, you guys can come here, and you guys can basically decrease the size right from here as well. And if you do want to put out some different colors, you guys can also do that. This is one here you guys can see. I do have actually put out a color. So if you just want to go to feel directly from here, you guys can just come here, go to the color mixer option, and you guys can choose one. And also, now after selecting this, let's increase the stroke from here as well. Okay? You guys can just increase the stroke, which will show this one as a border. Okay? This is one. And now let me show you guys another one. Let's go to file. From here, let's click on New and over here, now, I will just name this one as Letter Logo two. Let's name this one as Letter logo. Two. And now let's click on Create. And here, now let's try to create a different logo than this. Okay, here I do have it for the H. Over here, now, I do have it for H, but let's come here and let's make it for a different. Okay. So for that, what you need to do is you're going to use the greed method. F that, let's come here. Let's take the line segment two, and over here, I will just the stroke or let it be one only. And what I can do is I can just create up a straight line. And at the same time, let's take this selection tool. Let's click on Alt. And now you guys can just give this one a position. Let's come here. Let's click on Alt, and let's put out a position right here as well. And the same way, let's click on Alt, and let's position this accordingly right over here. As well. So let's select all of this thing, and now let's try to align it accordingly. So I'll just go to this distribute option, and from here, I need to make sure that all those are distributed properly and also distributed properly vertically as well. Okay? And now once this is done, Okay, if you want to increase the size, let's say you guys can come here, and you guys can increase the size, and let's select this one, and you guys can just place it again right over here. Okay. So now I do have selected all of this, and from here, now let's go to this object option. And from here, you guys can just go to the transform option. And from transform option, if you do want to rotate, if you don't want to move, you guys can actually do that. But before that, now let's come here again, and let's try to give this up a bit of rotation. Okay? So if you do want to come here, and if you do want to give this up a rotation, let's come here. Let's give this one up a rotation. And now again, let's go to object. Let's go to transform, and let's click on Reflect, which is k, and you guys can just click. On copy over here, and this one kind of looks good. Okay? So as this particular part is done, the next thing what we're going to do right over here is basically take up a straight line and just place it right over here. Okay. So for that, now let's come here, let's trak up this straight line. And from here, now let's try to Put it right here at this particular point. Let's say at this particular point is also fine. And if you do want to put it right over here, that is also fine itself. Okay? So let me just try to create a line directly from this particular intersection. Okay. So I'll just click Shift and Alt, and as you guys can see, I will be able to create up a line right over here. And now let's take this one. Let's click on Alt and over here, now I'm going to put this right over here itself. Okay. So now, as this particular part is basically done. Now the next thing is to select all. So I'll just select all and let's double click right over here, and let me just take up a black color for the feel. Okay? So let's come here and let's go with a black fiel. And now I will click on Shift M to get my shape builder tooth. Okay. So from here, now I am going to create up a shape. Okay. Let's come right over here. And from here, now, if you do want to create a shape, you guys will be able to create upper shape right from here itself. Okay? So now, let's come here. And again, from here, what you're going to do is you're going to create upper shape over here as well. Okay? So let's come here, and let's create this particular shape right over here as well. And if you do want to join it, You guys can come here, and you guys can basically join it up over here as well. Okay? So now, let's come here and let's select both of the shape. Okay. Otherwise, if you do want to join it in middle, you guys can come here, and you guys can basically join this part over here in middle. So let's take my selection tool. Let's take this one, and let's click on shape. So I'll just take this one right over here. And let me just take this one as well. So I do want to select two parts over here, let's select this and this. And over here, now, I do have deleted all the other parts right over here, or those are basically not visible. Okay? Let's come here. Let's select both of these, Control X, and all the extra part, which I had over here, let's click on Delete. And now I will just click on Control V to get this particular logo right over here. Okay. So once you are done over here, now, if you do want to put out different colors, let's say I will just select this one, and I will just give no opacity or no stroke the same way. Let's come here, and I will not give any stroke as well. Okay? So I won't put any stroke over here as well. Let's select this color. Now, let's go with this flowers option. And from here, let's take out a different color. So let's come here. Let's take this green, and the other one, let's take this particular color. Let's come here. Let's take out this particular color. And here you guys can see that I already do have this particular logo. Okay. Now, once you're done, let me just place this one over here in one side. And afterwards, if you want to put on any text, let's come here and now let's type E W. And let's type or let's take my selection tool. Let me click on space. And after that, I will just put out some different color, or let's say I want to take out some different font over here, and I want to give out a different color to the font as well. Okay? So let me just place it right over here. And this is how it actually looks. Okay. So let's increase the size, and this is the whole logo for you. And I hope this class was clear of how you will be able to create a logo using letter. And now lastly, let's save this file. Let's go to file. Let's go to export. And as I want to export, more than two frames. So for that, let's come here. Let's cancel this. Let's go to file. Let's go to Export, and I will click on Export for Screens. So I will just take this one and I'll just click on Export Art Board, and I will just click over here. And here you guys can see that I do have created this one over here. And I do have canceled this one. Let's come to this letter logo, Let's go to file. Let's go to Export, and I'll just select export as Letter Logo PNG, and let's click on Let's click on no, I will just name this one as Letter Logo two, and I will just export this particular file right over here. Let's click on Okay. And that particular file is being saved as well. So, yeah, I hope this class was clear. I hope to see you all in the next chapter. Till then, take care and goodbye, everyone. 12.
