1. Welcome: Hi there. According to Bloomberg, the PDS or RSC, Andre Allen, and Joe's used his skill to sell his latest album online. Has digital good. He made it very valuable and collectible. What was that skill that he used? Would you like to learn that skill as well? Then you have come to the right place. I will teach you how to convert an audio file into a non-fungible token. You will be able to publish that non-fungible token on your chosen marketplace. And then you can either choose to sell or keep it for your self forever. That would be completely your choice. But what I want you to do is join this revolution with me and be a part of web 3.0, block chain and NFT. Thank you. 2. Create an IPFS file link using Pinata: So welcome. Discourse is about the non-fungible token. But the idea is that you have got a content, which is an audio content, I mean music or song. Or you have got any kind of audio, I guess, in terms of wave and Beta-3, voiceover. Anything which is Audio related. And you, you want to convert that audio file into an NFT. And the idea is that once you convert it into NFT, you can launch it on the marketplace. You can sell it if you wish. You can make sure that that audio, Let's forever even after you pass over the next four. So that's the idea. So the question is, how do you do it? The solution is very simple. All you need is an audio file. So I'm not going to cover how to record an audio file in this course. I'm assuming you already have the knowledge of how to record your song, how to record your music, how to record your voice-over. If not, just comment on the course, and I'll create another one just to help you out how to do that. So I'm assuming you already have a music file, audio, voice-over, anything that you want to use as a content to create an NFT token that you want to share it on the marketplace. So that's idea. But when you at the marketplace, everything is browse to the eyes. I guess. All the users basically look at go to the website. They look at look at things today. I didn't hear things. They browse through their eyes so they need an image to represent the audio. So the first thing that they will see is an image. And then they click on the image and then click on the Play button. That is when they will hear the audio. So that is why we need an image. So you need an audio file, an image. Now, when we talk about an audio file, you basically want to share that audio file with another person. If you are selling that on a marketplace and you're giving that to another person, write the ownership of that audio file to another person because he's paying you money and he's purchasing their audio file from here. How do you normally do that? Normally, if you want to share a file with your friend, you upload it to Dropbox, you upload it to Google Drive, and you get a link. And you share that link with that special someone or your friend. Whoever you want to share with. That is right. If you want to do it on a temporary basis. And that is what Web 2 allows you to do. But the problem with that approach is that this approach is not future-proof. Now what do I mean by that? When I say it's not feature prove, it basically means that Dropbox is is a centralized service, is owned by one company. Google Drive. That's a centralized service, is also owned by one company. Now, imagine there's a legal battle happening. And google and the Dropbox basically, basically lose the legal battle in your country and they are not allowed to serve files anymore. What will happen, will happen to the link. The user will not be able to access it because it's a centralized service. Anything can go wrong with it. They could go bankrupt. They won't have money, enough money to support the service. And anything can happen. Now to protect that from happening. What can you do? Well, you can make backup copies somewhere else and then shared. You can make it available on multiple file-sharing services. But why do it yourself? When there is a technology available to solve your problem? So that technology is called what chain. So what happens is when you upload your file to one of the block chain node, the file is replicated across all the nodes. And the nodes are not owned by the nodes are owned by a single person, but a whole chain. The block chain is not owned by a single person. And that is a beauty of Web 3. That this whole network, this whole link is community-based. So even if one person decides not to host a file or disabled to node, all the other person will still, all, all the other people will still be there supporting it. So. Even when you boss over to the next world, this NFT will live forever. We got there will be people supporting this block chain. There will be people supporting this technology. And that file will still stay active in this distributed file storage system. I think it's scar DFS. So how do you do that? Well, there's a technology called interplanetary file system, IPFS. It is what I just described that you can read the definition. You can go to the left side and you can go into the gills if you wanted to. But rather than doing it ourselves, like understanding how this was, how the document date, how do you upload it on this file system? How do you manage it? The services to make your life easier? And I found this service very useful. What I like about this service is it's just very simple. You sign up, you upload the file, get a link. That's it. You don't have to worry about understanding what IPFS is, how Blockchain worlds, how, how to upload a file and manage it. The link, how to get the link? My yes lens. It does it does it for you. So let, let me show you what I mean. So let's start with some steps. So the first step, I guess, is to make sure that you get a link to the audio file. Because when you create an NFT token and somebody purchases that token in exchange, you are basically giving them your audio file, which could be voice-over song. And it kinda 4D file. So I'm just going to go to this pinata dotCloud. And let me clarify something. So when you click, when you see this option, try it free. It means that there is some price for it. Let's just understand the pricing. There is no pricing for one GD storage. For the pin manager. Remember you don't need this service. You can do the IPFS bit yourself or use any other service. The reason I'm showing you this one is it's just straightforward, is very simple. And I found it easy for my use case. But when you get used to it, and if you're an advanced user, you can just bypass it. Okay, So how, how do you upload a file using in our lab? Let's start with that. So you need to sign up first. So in the sign-up, you enter your e-mail you and tell you your password. I've already done the sign up, but I'm just going to do it. Another one Let's see, allows me to do it and I get an email. So that's basically it. I'll send that email to my email address. We're going to look at my email address. If I get that email, then I'm just going to click on it. If not, I'm just going to sign it using my own login. But what happens is if just sent you an email, you click on it, and that's it. The rest of the questions would be exactly the same. Okay. So it seems like I haven't got that email, but it would be the sine of is just entering the username and password. So I'm just going to go to pinata dotCloud. So once you have signed, basically got that email after sign-up, you click on the link and it will take you back to this login page where you can enter the email and password that you registered with. So I'm just going to click on sign-in. And once you sign in, you will see nothing away here to become really empty. And you will have this option to upload it. So just click on this Upload option. It will ask you what do you want to upload? Can say I want to upload a file and you just give them a directory. So I'm just going to look for that audio file again. So I'm just uploading and that our default. And you have this option too busy up the name if you wish. If you don't want to pick up the name, don't have to just click on Upload. It will spin for some time, it will upload the file. And what it does is, once the file is uploaded, it gives you a link. And you can access the link to pinata Gateway if you wish. If you don't want to visit used for data gateway, you can use some other sources as well. Is it isn't IPFS link. Also, under the advantage is this pinata is directly linked to, I mean, it gives you a direct link to some NFT marketplaces, which I will be discussing in this course. So it's a good thing to have. So what I did was I registered on Panopto. I logged in non uploading the file, which is this Vs. Then I will get the link, which is what I get by clicking on the name behind this white box of Cheerios taking some time because that is a really big audio files. I should actually smaller one, but almost 80 percent there. So let's just fake For six person table a 100 percent all done. It just makes me happy to see the progress bar for reform seems to 100. This way suiting Diego file successfully uploaded. Now if I wanted to use a link, this is, as you can read IPFS sit. So this is the thing that is very useful to you. So what I'm gonna do is I'm going to make some notes. So my IPFS said is this. And if I wanted to access the file via the gateway, this is the file that I can access right between the NANDA and I can hear the audio menu click on File. You consider it plays in the browser. I can hear it on in that form. So this is called not gateway, a link. And if you notice, this IPFS said is same as this sit over here. So right now we are using the data gateway. You can ask me the same quotient as I was talking about earlier in how do you share files in Web 2? That pinata could be a service owned by a single company. What happens if that service goes on? Well, you have got the IPFS said, so you can use the IVF is sent to still access these files because they would be in the block chain, but using some other gateway. So That's basically it. You have got the link. Make sure you have stored it somewhere in your notes. That is your step number one, to ensure that you have got an audio file, your blog dot audio file, and you get this link. Thank you for watching this video. Stay tuned. We will be covering our next step in the next video, which is about choosing an NLP platform. Thank you. 3. Marketplace Comparison: Hello again. So I wanted to make this learning experience a bit more fun. And that is why I'm giving you a choice. Your choices are number one, variable, number 2, open sea, and number three, main table. Now I'm going to stop for a second and I'll let you choose one of them. Which one did you choose? Did you choose main table? Because it has the minty taste in it? Well, that's not the right way to choose things. You have to always look at the parameters. Whenever you are making a sale or purchase. Always look at certain elements of what whatever you're purchasing. So here we are talking about the marketplace. When you are basically creating an NFT and you're listing your NFT, you need to understand what are the pros or the cons of the marketplace. So let's take a look at it. So my choices, open sea. And let me walk you through why. If you look at a quick comparison, open C has the highest traffic on the website. So as you compare with all the other platforms like variable interval, open sea is very famous. It has a lot of functionality. It has a good documentation. It gives you the flexibility to pay later, which is a gas phase. The gas v is basically kills you. It is the major reason why most and FTEs are feeling OK. People are not willing to upload entities. On open C. You have to pay the gas phase only once in the beginning. Once you have paid that gas fees, then it will just allow you to just make sorry. It will allow you to list the item. And when you are selling the item, that is when it minced it, which means that the minting happens at the moment of selling, which means that the customer buys a piece. For the guess it, You don't have to be. If you want to understand gas fees. Think of it as a way to verify that this token is real. This token is valid, that is what gas phases. And I can go in detail about how wide the tongue gas-phase came in. But you can look at my previous course which is learned to create an FTEs. So that's a course that you can look at in a ritual, give you more information. But over here, we're talking about the platform fees. The platform fees is 2.5. User-friendly? Yes. Open sea is very user-friendly as compared to all the other platforms listed over here. Variable on the other hand, has a different advantage. So if you lift something on a variable, you will be basically listing it on open sea as well. Because variable It's kind of like a sub shop tube. And see, let me show you what I mean by that. So if I open variable and if I search for variable open sea, you can see there's this, everything that is listed on the variable is also listed over here on open CMAP side. So it's like a substitute on the open sea, but that's the indication it provides. It has other advantages as well. So if you look at the link that I've had in this a presentation, it's a hacker known link from which I have gathered all this data. And it tells you how to create antibodies. It tells you the differences that I'm basically talking about in this video. But the main thing that it shows over here is if you search for a variable, the first thing is variable is an integral acted with open C being the big store of it. So NFT status is quite similar. So that's a really good way to understand what variable is. But it has that disadvantage, which is you have to pay the gas phase. And we done You mean some item. So that's a really big pain. If you're creating an NFT about user friendliness. It wasn't listed as a very user-friendly platform on the second and post. And when we talk about the last platform, which is memtable, it sounds mentee, but it is the word mint basically comes from where you are maintaining an item as an NFT. So you're converting that item into an NFT token. So that's why they use the word main table. So this platform has a medium graphic UP the gas fees, but it has a very unique feature. Don't want to sell the NFT, but you just want to experience the NF2. You don't have to be anything. So they allow you to list items for 0 which are not going to be sold at anytime. So it's $0 NFT kind of thing. So it is Fourier, Fourier Adams, that, that would be the best way to say it. So they allow you to list three items, which is, which is a good thing about that platform. But if you're thinking about becoming a long-term and F T cell, then it, it, it pays off in the long run to just be the initial gas v's and listed on open sea. And that's what I have done and this is why I have picked open see as my main platform. Thank you. 4. Creating a metamask wallet: Alright, so what do we have so far? They've got the IPFS link, which is the link to the audio file which is uploaded on the blockchain network. And we know which platform you will be using rich, so considered ion. So the only thing remaining is to convert that audio file into an NFT, right? So how do we do that? The first step is to login, to open sea. To login to open sea. They don't have any kind of registration process. They have this process of using a wallet. So you would need a wallet and I prefer Meta mass for that. If you go to this menu option on the top right, click on Meta mass to take you to this screen. Okay? So once you're on the MetaMask wrap side, which is Mecca mastered IO. You can click on the option installed megawatts for Chrome. It will take you to this option where it says Add to Chrome extension and get started. So if you're new to matter mass, you would basically create a greater new wallet. And click on I agree. And to the password. And click on Create. So once your metabolic water it is created, you can just click on Next if you want. I mean, I would prefer saving the secret word, but because I'm recording this video, our noise will follow. So I'll take on a minute later. And let's go to the next bit. So as you can see, my MetaMask wallet is created. It says 0 yttrium. And if I look at them, Bazaar essentially, I can see MetaMask over there as well. And it shows me the exact same value, which means what vitamins folate is connected. Let's just connect this wallet with opiate z. So if you click on this wallet icon on the top right, it will ask you which one do you want to select? Select mega mosque. And it'll open the wallet again. And I'm going to just select the account and click Next. And then to last me to verify the edges and I'm connecting, I'll say Connect, and that's it. So your wallet is now connected to open C dot io and should be able to recognize your profile if it doesn't just click on the sign-in, I refresh the page and it will find your profile. Now. You can see that it is showing me the My Profile option. Thank you for watching. 5. Create Your NFT and Join the revolution !: This video is about creating the NFT. But before we go and create Dynasty, I would like to review what we have got. So number one thing is the IP address link, which is currently on the gateway via using the gateway of hope in order to access that IPFS file. But it is actually hosted on a blockchain network. We have chosen our platform, which is open C dot IO. Because of low gas fees. In the long term. We have registered on the mega mass and we have got the volume for my demos. We have indicated that volume with open C dot IO so that we can login to open C. Now the question was, do we have an image that would represent audio file? So what I did was I went to canva.com. It's very easy to use. And I created a simple image that the speaker sign to show that this is audio and the inside the audio that is basically sewer Alpha there. So I've just written Soil Party and telephoto. So I've downloaded that image and this is what it looks like. It's a simple image, it has nothing major. So that's my image over here. So if I look at it over here, so this is therefore damage. Okay? Now the next step is to login. So once you basically click on a wallet and click on the MetaMask, it will ask you, if you're not already logged in. It will ask to enter the password and it will show you that now you have logged in. So there you go. Now we're logged into open sea and you can see it if I click on my profile, it shows everything over here. The next step is to create a new collection. So if I go to open C dot io, do it is, if you look at it, go to OPT dot io, open the URL. Basically open C dot IM for Slash collection. Salton Sea dot IO for Slash collection. Collections, plural. And then it will give you an option to create your collection. So I'm going to click on create a collection. It will ask me what do I want to use for the collection? And you can select any image. For example, I'm just going to use the same image over here. And then whatever the name of the image is. The best thing is too big because you are presenting the whole collection. The best thing to do is use the image which will represent the whole collection. So I'm going to use, so let's just find a good image. So this collection is basically a collection of ground. So I'm, I'm just gonna go to Google, search for an image, go to Tools, Usage Rights, and make sure I select commercial and the licenses. So any image I am going to use now is, I mean, it has all the permissions. So I can pick up this one open image in new tab and save image as desktop. So in my collection, I can now select a better image, which is fine. And I can just name the collection, which is Qur'an. Qur'an says this name is already taken. So that name is valid. If the first one doesn't work, just try adding some more words to it and it normally works. So that beautiful recitation of the holy book of God. And you can select block chain, either yttrium or polygon. I tried creating it with polygon interior. This is fast. It works really well by great open sea while I'm creating this video, there are some issues. It took me like 24 hours to see my last collection that was created on polygon. So I can show you that one as well. So if I go to open C dot io and I look at my profile, this is the one that I did with the polygon. And now it is appearing, it says minted. But it took 24 hours to show up over here. Which is something that I was not very happy with. So I'm going to choose Ethereum this time because I'm making a video. I wanted to show you the whole process, but it's up to you. You can choose any blockchain. I personally prefer a polygon because of its gets fully experienced blockchain that box with Italian, That's what it says. It's fast. Other selling parts of polygon. And if it, if it says it's gas fluid, this means that you don't have to pay any money. Our client doesn't have to pay any money, which means you can sell your NFT for a lower price. So for example, if you were selling one of the pictures for like one Ethereum and gas fields was 50 percent, then you're only getting half yttrium. So I don't know the exact amount for the gas phase, but it's normally too hot, too high. You can search about it on Google. But this is the main blocker for most of the sellers that gas phase, it's always high. So you have to be a lot of money and I guess fees. So if I'm basically creating an NFT, I would definitely use polygon. But for this example, let's choose yttrium so that we can just process this fast. So I've ticked on Create. So the whole collection would be basically yttrium based. So you need to select which block gene on WIC block chain the whole collection would be using. So the other collection that I've showed you right now was polygon. This collection is yttrium. So let's add an item to it. All right, so if I click on Add item, it will ask me to put any image, video, audio, or 3D model. So in theory, you can upload your audio file over here as well. But normally, what you do is you create, you put the audio in an as an unlawful content. This is how you share a content. So you display an image like for example, let me show you. So this NFT has an unlawful content, which is an audio. So I've added the image of the audio file, precipitants audio. I'll write down the name. All these fields are optional. I've selected the collection name. And this is the main part of this. Like if you are selling any unlikable content, including your audio collection, you would use this unlawful content. And that is how you create an audio NFT. When you sell your NFT with an unlawful content. And when people are looking at your energy, they will look at the image. They will say, Okay, This looks like a nice NFT. I would like to hear it. And you can click on it. And when they purchase it, this content will be unlocked for them to hear forever because it's hosted on block chain, it's not hosted on Dropbox or Google Drive or anything like that. So what I'm gonna do is I'm going to put this link that we got in here. And we can't change this block chain over here. As you can see, once you have selected this for your collection, it will be applied to the whole collection. And in Ethereum, it will not allow you to add or change the number of supplies unless you add specific parameter in the URL. But in the polygon collection, if you are, if you have selected a polygon, launching, it will let you change this number very easily. So that's another difference between the Ethereum blockchain and a polygon blockchain. So alright, let's review this again. So what we have done is we have created a new item, added a picture editor name. We have selected the collection, and We have clicked on unlawful content and added this link. We can't change any of these options. So we're going to click on Create, Diigo. So this is, has been created. We can easily go and visit and disappears immediately. When I was doing it for the polygon, it took 24 hours, as I said. And once somebody purchases it, they can just click on reveal and this will be rebuild them to them. So that's your NFT that is created. Now, the next step is to sell it. So how, how do you sell your NFT? So you're already on the NFT page, so there's your NMT asset. You can see that as an image. You can see there is an unlawful content. You click on the button cell. In the cell, you set the price. So for example, it would be sold for point 0, 0, 1, yttrium. As you can see that symbol is yttrium. You can select dire, use DC as well. But let's just select yttrium. You can make, I mean, you can auction it as well if you want. You can bundle it with other items if you want. But let's go with the simplest option which is set price, which is this. And just click on post your listing. So the beauty of this is it doesn't ask me to. So as you saw, I wanted basically opened up. So the beauty of this process, what it didn't ask me for the gas phase. The gas fields will be taken when it's actually minted the next time. So this is the beauty of this process. And this is the main reason why we selected open. See that? It's not asking me for the gas fees when I'm just listing the item. But when somebody purchases it will they will have to be the gases. And that's what I showed you earlier in my quick convention. So there you go. You have listed your audio NFT on an open see. The audio is basically an unlikable content which anybody who purchases this NFT, they'll be able to hear and keep it with them forever. So if you have got wise, if you have got any music, if you've got anything that you have got rights for and you want to sell it. On any NFT platform. You can do it like this is the open sea.
