if you have any question, then feel free to ask me. I'm always there
for you to help. Let's start learning other
way in design for layout, a page, designing together.
2. Introduction, interface and workspace in Indesign: Hello everyone and welcome
you all to the chapter one of a Adobe Indesign
tutorial here. In the first chapter I'll be introducing you guys to
this particular software. That's why we need to use Adobe Indesign and
how this is different from any other software available in the market to
serve its purpose here. Okay? And after that, I'll be telling you guys about different presets
that you can use, how you can create
a new project. And also about the interface
and the workspace, the control panel in while creating the
page or the project. How you can add
different pages and also so many things here
in this particular class. Let's get started
with Adobdsign. Let's start with an
introduction to Adobindesign. Adobidesign is a professional
desktop publishing software used to create
layouts for a variant of printed and
digital materials. They also do have
different key features in this particular application. Okay, Design is known for its
robust tools and features that enable users
to create visually appealing and well
structured documents. Few of the key features
of this application is that you can change
the page layout. You can actually use that
you have the typography. You can also put up image
heading and you can do vector. Graphicingls can
change different type of styles and formatting. And you can also use tables,
interactive elements. These are few of
the key features. Also, you can do
integration with other Adobe softwares like here. You can use Illustrator
in making any animation, then putting that animation
back to the indesign file. You guys can do that as well. Before that, first I'll
be telling you guys about the interface and the workspace, basically like how
it actually looks. If you guys want to make
any kind of brochures, flyers or any book cover, or you're editing a magazine
or a book for someone. This application will be
quite helpful for you, like if you learn this
particular application how to use it in
an advanced level. Then you guys can do all
of this by your own, okay? Here as you can see, once you download
this application from your ad creative cloud, from there you end up
with a page like this. Once you install that
application and come to this page first I'll
be telling you guys, on the left and top corner, you guys can see this is the
Adobe Indesign logo, okay? It's ID. As you guys can see
here under that, I do have the option for
creating a new file. Okay. Here, I also have
the option for open. Suppose if I had an
indesign file here, I can open those here again. Okay? As you can see, I do have a few indesign files here. Okay. I can just open that up and start working
on editing those again, then again, saving it back. Okay, so from here
you guys can do that, and here you guys can
see few of the presets. Okay? After this I'll be showing you guys how
it appears. Okay? I'll here, here you'll have all your recent
works from here. You can sort those
down according to the naming size or kind how you want
that you guys can do. Okay, Here you can see if
you want it in a list way, so you guys can do that. I will like it in this icons. I will keep it like that. First, let's create a new file. Once I click this option
of creating new file, you guys can see here I do have a page of
different presets. Okay? So here it's
showing me what are the recent items or what are the recent presets that I have
used in this application. So here you can see the
sizes which I have used. All these are customed, okay? And from here you can see different presets
here will come on top. Okay. So here these
are the recent pages and these are the Sift
pages which I have saved. So I have just saved one
blank document as a preset. After that, if you come
to the print option here, you can see you do have
different presets here as well. Okay? If I view
all presets here, you can see the letter size, the legal size, and
this is a letter 245. And if you want to make any
business card for yourself, you guys can use this
particular size. Or if you are making any
sticker for a compact desk, you can use the preset as well. Okay? So here as you can see, I do have this option. And let's come now to
the templates, okay? So these are few free templates which you guys can do in
your particular work. Here you guys can see. So let's open one and
let's see the preview. So this is how you
guys can create. Like, you can just change
the topics from here. If you want to download this
one, you can click here. You will be downloading
it from the auto stock. Let's come here and let's try
to download one from here. Once you click on
the download option, you'll have a page where you need to log in or maybe
I have logged in before. Now I can open this particular
template from here. Okay, here you guys can see this template
appear on my screen. Okay? I'll just activate
this one. Okay? So here you can see
I'll just skip it. I'll skip this one as well. From here I can come and I
can change all the settings. From here you can see I
do have different pages. Also, you guys have
seen how it will look once you have this
particular template, okay? Here you can see
scaling on the sides, and this is the template, okay? I don't want this template now. I'll be making a new document, or I'll just go back
to the home page here. Okay, so here I have shown
you guys how to do that. Again, click for a
new file for mobile. Here I do have different
presets as well. Here you'll get iphone
ten and ipad Pro. All the sizes you'll get which
you can choose from here. He also, I do have different templates for the
phone which you can use. Okay. After that. In web option here, I do have all these sizes, okay? Like letter size four size
600 into 300 pixels, okay? And also a few other templates. If you guys do have any templates on your
mind or you want to search any themed templates. So you guys can come
here and just search, like you guys can
write football. You guys can check that, do it have any templates which is related
to your keyword? Okay, so here you guys can see, I have searched for football templates and here you do have many options for
football template here. Okay, Here you, so you guys can take it for a free
trial if you guys want. From here, you guys can
do a free trial with the templates using
the atop stock. You can come here and download different
templates as you want. Okay. I hope this
preset part was clear and everybody understood
what all you can do. Let's come to this control
panel of this page. Okay? Here as you guys can see, this is named as title two. But here you can rename your project or whatever work you're doing, you
guys can do that. Okay, Let me just name
this as in design class. Okay? In design class now, you can also check the width, the height, and also
the units basically. Okay, here, what all
units do I have? There is points, inches, eros, centimeters,
pixels, mimes. I do have all these units
which I can choose from. Okay, Here I keep this one. If I choose points for
now and I create one, it will appear like this, okay? If I go back again from here, I came back and now again I want to create
a new file here. Again, you can see now
this one is in pixels. Okay? In that case, what you're going
to do is I want to select inches by default. In that case, what I'll do
is I'll come here on top, you guys can see different
options, okay, the file, the edit layout,
different type objects, all options are there, as you can see just
beside that logo. From here, I will come
to the edit option. Under edit, I'll just go to the last option called
as the preferences. Okay, under preferences here, you guys just top off
the grids option. I do have my units and
increment from here. If I click on this
particular button, a screen will just
drop off from here. So here you guys can see
the ruler units by default. If I change from here, I'll just choose spread. Here instead of points,
I'll choose inches. And vertical, also inches. Okay. And I want my
stroke to be in points. And the Pika size is fine, and the keyboard increments. Yes, everything is fine. Now if I click on okay. Now go back to the
home page from here and again try to
create a new file. So here by default you'll
have inches out here. Okay, So as you guys
can see, after that, let's come to the
orientation from here, okay? So the orientation is like, I will be able to
see what kind of portrait mode I want or I
want it in a horizontal mode. From here, you guys
can basically see the preview of how
your page will look. Move this page around
a little bit, okay? And now you guys can see the orientation if I'm
taking a landscape page, so how it will look
right under here, I can choose how many pages
I want on my project. Okay, let me create. I will want three pages here. And do I want it in
facing pages or not? Basically facing pages is like you guys have books, right? When you see a
book or a notepad, in that case you have two pages, but it is divided using binder or you can call
it spine as well. Like that is called
facing pages. If I take facing pages, I will show you guys how
it actually looks here. This is a facing page. If I go down, I
can show you guys. First, I need to just cut down this page or put
up the setting before that. Let me tell you guys how you can start this page number, okay? Once you're creating any
book or any magazine, you don't want page
number starting from the content page or the
first acknowledgment page. You don't want that? Okay. From here I can choose
from which page number. I can start my counting. So I can do this
from here and here, just beside this one, you guys can see a
primary text frame. The primary text frame
is basically here. You will be able to get
a text frame from where you can put up your text
and everything as such. Okay? But if you don't have ticked this
particular option still, you can manually text frame and you can start
writing on your page. Okay? So no use of this one. If you're not sure that are you going to use this
particular option or not? If you're going to
use any text or not. Okay. So down there after that, I do have the option for how many columns do
I need in my page? Okay? So you can
choose from here. How many columns
you guys can take? So you guys can start
from here, okay? And after that, you guys will also able to see the margin. Okay? Like how much do you
want your margins to be? So you can select it from here. As you can see, I do have
the options for top, bottom, right, left, okay. And here you can see option of making all the
settings together. So if I just off
the setting now, I can manually
change any setting. Okay. But if I click on this option and once I change any measurement
from here, you guys can see all
the measurements in the four box
is being changed. Okay, so this is the
option for linking and here you do have the option for the
bleed and the slug. Okay, bleed is basically outer lining just outside your page or just
outside your margin. Okay. It is being
measured like that. This is how you can
also put up your bled. After that comes the slug. Slug also can be changed
like this if you just link this one and after that if
you change it can be changed. So I don't want any slug
in my page right now. I'll be selecting the blid. I'll just change it. So here you can see this red lining here
is called a blid. Okay, so I will just increase this one and I'll take my
page orientation as portrait. And I do have three pages here. And now what I can do is I can create one particular page. Once I created the page, you can see this
is the workspace where you will be working
and designing your work. Okay, here also you guys can change the document
size from here, okay? And you can also choose the customization
option from here. You can put different size, change the orientation, and
you can write the name. Okay? Sometimes when you do
have too many custom pages, you might get confused if
you didn't save any name for which work you are going to
use which custom page size. Okay, You can add this one here. After that, you can click on. Okay. As I don't have anything, I won't be clicking that one. If you want facing pages here, this is how a facing page
basically looks, okay? See here, you do have
three columns, okay? From here, what you
guys can do as well, come up here and you guys
can add just the margins, the page number, and you can
also add just the layout. Okay? From here,
if you just click, you do have advanced option. From here also you can choose how many page number you want. And here is the
parent page option. Okay? Parent page is
basically a mother page. You can also call that like if I make any change
in my parent page, whatever pages is coming after
that from that same panel, it will be the same. Okay. So it will be
just edited like that. So this is the work of
parent page and I do have a different class in here. You guys can also see and
I'll be also telling you guys how you can actually work with pages in this
particular application. Because pages is quite
vast and there are so many uses of pages
here in this application, so I'll be taking a different chapter on
that particular topic. Okay. So here are the properties option from
where you can change all this. After that, this is the pages option if I go
to the CC library option. Okay. From here you guys
can see you can search any libraries if you
have saved any here. You can search your
stock templates. If you have stocked
any templates, you can search it from here. After that, if you
come back, okay, if you click on this or
come here from here, you can also view your library. Okay, Here in my library, I do have different
gradients which I can use here in
my particular work. Go back again and you can
also explore libraries here. Using this option, you guys
can see different work from like editors or writers. You can just explore
the library as well. You can take some
suggestions of how to start working in this
application, okay? Based on this, you guys
can also search this from the created Cloud desktop or
from this option directly. This is the way in next class, I'll be telling you guys
about all these tools. Okay, here of the tools. And here you guys can see
the rulers and the grid. As you can see, now I don't
have the rulers and grid. But if I again click
this option here, you can see these
are the rulers. Okay? After that, if I of
this one and select this. Okay, This one is
the baseline grid. Okay? Here, there
are a few options called the baseline
grid of this one. And this is the document grid. Here, you guys will be able
to see grids appearing. Okay, this is inside a
grid, I don't want that. Here are a few guides which
will remove your guides. As you can see, this is
just a whole page now and this is the option from where you can lock the guides. Okay, here it will be
locked after that. Here they'll be showing
you smart guides. Okay, so you guys can do that. Once you're done, you can
import the file from here, okay, You can select
the name and import. Hope you guys have understood this introductory class and about the workspace
and interface. In next class we'll learn
about the basic tools, what all is there we can
use in our work in design. Take care Till then and goodbye.
3. Basic tools in Indesign: Hello everyone and
welcome you all to the second chapter of the
Adobe Indesign tutorial. Here in this class
I'll be explaining you guys about the basic
tools in Indesign. So here I have already
shown you guys where the tool bar is located there. I'll be telling you guys, as I do have different type
of tools in my toolbar, what all this is used for, and how you can use
those particular tools in your work while
creating any brochures, flyers, or any
magazine or books. So I'll be telling you guys
about all that basic tools, how you can change colors, and how you can
actually play around with different colors in
the shape in strokes. So I'll be telling
you guys about everything in this
particular class. Let's not waste time and
let's get started with the chapter number two here. You guys can see I do
have the tool bar here. Let's start with the
selection tool first. Okay? For that, what I'll be doing
is let me create a shape. Okay, using the shape two. As I do have this one here
with my selection tool, what I can do is I'll come
here and I can select this particular box and I can change its
positioning from here. My box will be moved here. Now like this, I can
play around with this. Okay. And if I do
have a text box, I can move it around
or if any image. So anything like that, I can just select with my selection tool and I
can move around this one. Okay? After that here I can scale this or rotate
this using my mouse, using this particular tool here. Okay? And after that, I can again, select
this from here. Let me bring this
one here and here. I can also scale this one
up according to my need. Okay, This is the use
of selection tool, how you can select
the shortcut key for that is V from the keyboard. Okay, After that,
let's select this one. Okay? This is also
a selection tool, and the shortcut key for
that is a Kreyboardre. The main thing is that,
like you cannot change the whole positioning of
this particular box here, but you'll be able to change
a part of the object. Okay, let's come here, Let's select this here. Once I select this one here, you can see a few dots. Okay, If I select those dots, I can basically create
different shapes. Let me create one now you
can see I can change a part. You have to click on that
corner, the blue dot. Once that is blue, you
need to know that. Now you can change
this, just in. Okay, let me zoom
in a little bit. Okay, here you can see this
is if I select this one, and now it became blue. And from here, now I can
change a part. Okay? Here as well, I can do that. So as you can see
here, now I can move. Let's go to the sides. This is the page,
I'll just zoom out. This is how you can use this
particular setting, okay? And after that comes
the page tool. Okay? Here using this page tool, basically you can edit the page. Okay? So from here you
can put like this. After that, this is the Gap
tool which I have here. Okay, After that, this is
the content collector tool, the content Placer tool. I'll be explaining
you guys about all these tools in
the later stages, whether I have a different
class on pages in that, I'll be explaining you
all of these tools. Okay, here you guys
can see the type tool. Okay, so maybe you already understood what
this is used for. As I do, once I selected
the type tool here, I will just zoom
in. I'll come here. Now you guys can see
a marker on my mouse. Okay, Now what I can do is I will select a
particular box here, and this is the
heading like that. And I can come here, as you can see from here. Also, you can change
the font size. Suppose I want it 18 from here, I want to change the
font style as well. Okay, let me select
this font here. Now, just let me write. Let me use the
caps Breaking bad. I'll type this. Now select this particular thing from here, and I can just bring
it in the center. This is one way of doing that. Okay? Now, if I just
delete this one and just fill it with letters here, you can see I do have
the letters here. But this frame from here and now try to
extend the frame size. Okay? I just the size here, you can see my text
inside that text box have realigned itself
according to the box. Okay. If I just decrease the size
of my box way too much as you can see now my text is not fitting
in this small box here, but I am also not able to
see the remaining text. Okay? As this is
inside this box here. Okay? Inside the text box. But here you can see a plus
sign inside a red box. Okay? A red plus sign here. That means that I am overflowing with text
and I need more space. In that case, I can
create space accordingly, like the way I want. This is one way of using this taxes or the
type tool, okay? There is another option
once you right click, and here is a drop down menu
type on a path tool, okay? And the shortcut key for that is Shift plus T. So in that case, first I need to create a path. Okay, so here as you can
see using the pen tool, I can come up here and I can make a path
of my own design. Okay, I'm just creating
a path here now. I have created a path, as you guys can see, I'll come here in this tool, choose this one type on a path
tool here you guys can see once I have my mouse over to
some of these points here, okay, You guys can see, once I realign my mouse with
the path which I created, you can see a plus sign there. Okay, Once you see
the plus sign, you can click here
and you can go to the particular path and you can just write
anything as you want. Okay? This is how you can type on a path and you can
edit by yourself. Okay, From here again, if you want to select
all the text here, you can actually
change the character, font size or the font style, and from the font size as well. Okay, here we'll be learning
about that in detail. From here, I can manage
the settings of the text. Okay, here from
this control panel. Next, let's come to
this option here. Okay? So basically you can create a line the way you want. Okay, I'll be
creating a line here, as I have created the line here. You guys can see once I
select my selection tool, I can just bring the
line anywhere I want. Again, select this line. And I can also change
the width of this line. Okay, here as you can see, I have selected this. Now I can change the
stroke size of this one. I can also change the color of the particular
stroke from here. Okay, as I have
selected a red color, or if I want to choose it from the color
picker option here, I can have different
shades of color from here. Basically, I can choose
what color do I need. Okay, so I can click here
and I do have this color. Okay, let me move
this one on top here. And this one I
will move as well. I'll move here somewhere. Okay. Now what I'll be telling you guys is about the Pin tool. Okay? Here if I write, click here, you can see I do
have the pen tool option. Okay? Using pen tool, I can create different
type of shapes. As you can see, I
can create a shape, it will take out here. As I do have this, I can actually create
different shapes. Okay. Here you guys can see
if I just create shapes, it will be created like that. The way I do here, as you can see this are different shapes which
you guys can create. Move this, okay? I'll just move this
one using this one. I hope you guys have
understood how you can create. Now the next option, let's come to the pencil to the shortcut key
for that one is. Okay. So here all be lending you guys all
these three tools. Okay? First one is
the pencil tool. Basically, pencil is
used to write like this. I can create different logos or if I want to
write anything down, different type of signatures, sometimes we have to put,
I can give it using this. Okay. But basically for me, I don't use if you're
doing any signature work, I will prefer that you
buy digital slate. They're using the pen tool, you can write on
that slate. Okay. That is always better and
preferable as I have created this particular shape
using my pencil tool. Now what I can do is I can come here and I can use the
smooth tool, okay? Basically, smooth tool, what
you do is it will just try to smooth down all the
edges of my pencil tool. Okay? If I click here, I just type over that here. You can see this
one is trying to smoothen the corners
down or the lining, this is trying to
smoothen those. As you can see, if
I put all over, okay, it will smooth
all those things up. I have put here everywhere. Okay? Now, let's see here. You, this is trying to
just smooth this down, okay? Especially right here. I can just try to
smooth this one down. Okay? We can use
this tool from here. Okay? After that, I do have come the
Erase tool from here, Erase tool is quite
understood what it will do. It will erase the
particular part, okay? From here, if I erase
this part as well, okay, it will erase. This is how you can erase. Now, select this one. Did, this is the use of this particular
erase tool as well. Now I do have the rectangle
tool frame, okay? If I create this kind of rectangle and now
if I want to put any color or any kind
of object inside this like animation or an image, in that case, what I
can do is I can click on the selection tool from here and come
to the edit option. From the edit option, you can see no, this is in the file option. From the file option,
you come to this place. The shortcut key for that is control D. Okay,
I'll click on this. If I do have an image, I can put that particular
image down here. Okay? If I just zoom out. Okay? I can again
use and two here. Okay? I can basically
change the pace size here. I do have this image, okay? Here I have the image. But what I can do is increase the size
of the image, okay? I need a bigger page. If I want the full image, we'll keep this one here. This is just an example
how you can do that. This is how you can
move around, okay? I can just zoom the
picture down or bring the size down of that
particular picture, okay? From here, as you can see, now I have this whole image
here in this particular box. Okay? This is one
way of doing this. Now I hope you guys have
understood this one. This is ellipse shape, I can create a
circle here, okay? If I want to create a circle
or any shape proportionally, I need to play control shift. And first click on
this control shift, and now it will increase
the size proportionally, like I can just play
around from here. This is one option
which can be used. Okay? I can also come up here, change the size like this. Now I can change as I'm not
holding the control shift. I hope you guys have
understood this one as well. After that, it is the
basic rectangle tool. Okay? This is the basic
rectangle two here. I can create a rectangle box. And suppose I want to put
any color here inside. Okay, I'll come here and
I do have this color. I will select this
one and come here in the stroke option from here. Just increase the stroke. I'll just increase this one by ten and I can select
how it will be. Okay. If I want a dashed stroke, then I can select this one or my stroke to be Japanese
dots, white diamond. I can do that. As you can see, this is how it will
actually look. Okay, this is one
way of doing this. Okay? I'll just
take the solid one. Only I can select
the start point. Like how it will start. What type of line do I want? I don't want any.
And the last option also is the same here. You can scale up, okay? You can also select
different gap colors. Okay? Here the wet is ten, this is fine. Come here again. Now, suppose if I like to
change the color here, Let me take a wet color here. This is how I can change. I can also change
the tint from here. Okay? And here, if I want
to add a new Swatch, which we'll be learning later. Okay? Now I have
selected this one. This color or this stroke. And in that case here, I don't want any stroke. Okay? So here you can see
now I don't have any stroke, and that is also not visible. Okay? Okay. Then if I
choose this color here, again I do have my stroke. I need to, again, increase the stroke size from here and now if I don't
want the inside color. Okay, So now I don't have
any feel inside this box. It is only covered
with the strokes. Okay. This is also one
way how we can do that. And again, back to
the same, okay? This is how we can
actually work around here. And later you guys can see here, I do have the scissor tool. Suppose I do have this
particular box here. And now I want to put
any cut here, okay? So here you can see
I have put up a cut, the same way I can
do it from here. Okay? If I come and you can see this is one way how
I can create from here. Okay. Here again, I can cut when that
option appears. Okay, here you can see
I do have this options. This is how you can use
the Caesar tool as well. Like if you have
anything particular before using this pen tool
and also the Caesar tool, we need to know this particular
usage very properly. As these are very
sensitive tools, there is ten of doing mistakes. Okay, I do have this one, I tell you guys, Caesar tool, and this is the free
transformation tool. After that, let's try
to select the gradient. Okay, here, if I choose
this gradient option here, you can see this
is the gradient. If I put here, you can see how the black color just fades out, or the white color just
fades out from here. As you can see in this, I can create different colors. Okay. Here, if I choose this, you guys can see if I chose
and try to put up a gradient. Okay, I can do that as well. Okay, From here as you can see, I can choose the
coloring from here, and I can change the
colors accordingly. From here, choose
the gradient type, and click on, Okay. This is how you can choose your gradient and make
your own gradient here. After that, here you can see I do have the
color theme tool. In this color theme tool, I do have a particular class
only in that, like this, it'll show you how you can
create your own color palette. We will be seeing
this particular tool at the end of our
tutorial, okay? And that is not
something complex, okay? This one is the zoom tool using
which I can just zoom in. And again, I can just go
to this option, zoom out. Again, this is one way
of zooming in here. Just beside the zoom in option, I do have the hand tool. Using the hand tool, I can change the page
placement from here. As using this selection tool, I cannot move the page, okay? But using the hand tool, I'll be able to change
the page position, okay, in the workspace. Now, zoom out from here, okay. Now, here, as you can see, this is the page which I have. Now. You can select different colors from here
as I've already told. If you want to defill, you can defill all
those as well. Okay? After that, this one is the
formatting effects text. Okay? If you have
a particular text which have different
type of settings, so it can format that text style and everything from there. And these are the colors, okay? This one is to apply any color. This one is to apply gradient. And this one is to
apply no colors at all in your particular
shape or text. Okay, this is that option
and this is the view option. Like how I want to view,
do I want the rulers, the baseline grades,
any hidden characters, so I can view it
accordingly. After that. Here is the normal view option, which is there
already in my screen. And this one is the preview. Okay, how this will look if I want to see it in
a presentation mode, this is how it will look in
a presentation mode, okay? So this will be the final
product which I have just seen. Hope you guys have understood this class on the basic
tools and how you can use all these
different type of tools in this particular
application, okay? So these tools will be
helpful once I pick one by one and show you guys a project by
doing all of this. Till then everyone take care
and hope to see you all in the next class where
we'll be learning about type tool in detail. Type tool is quite vast. Maybe I will divide that particular class
in two different parts. Okay, First I'll be telling
you guys about the basic, and then I'll be
telling you guys about the advanced method of
using the type tool. Okay? So statute with
the tutorial and hope to see you all in the
next class til then take care.
4. Text tool in Indesign-Part-1: Hello everyone and
welcome you all to another chapter of
Adobe Indesign tutoria. Here in this class I'll
be telling you guys about the text tool in this
particular application. So this text tool is quite
vast in the indesign, like there are different
features of this one. This class is divided
in two parts Here in the first part
I'll be telling you guys about the
control panel, what all you guys can
control for this text. Like how you can create your
own text and how you can manage the settings of the particular text from
your control panel. I'll be telling you guys about
this one in the part one. In the second part I'll be
explaining you guys about the latest features or the advanced features of
text tool in in design. Let's get started
with the part one of text tool as you guys can
see already in my workspace. Okay, here I'm going to now
show you guys how you can actually work with this text in this particular
workplace. Okay? In less class only. I
have told you guys about the basic usage of the type two. I also show how you can
write on a particular path. Okay, let me show
you guys again. Let me create a line tool
from here till here. And come to this option. And as you can see, once
I come here or just align my mouse with the line here or the path
which I created here, you can just see a plus
sign appearing on my mouse. Okay, if I click here, you guys can see now I can
start writing whatever I want. Okay, let me just fill
this page with this. Now I can basically change
the font size from here. Okay, come to the
selection tool, again, select this
particular text. Now from here, I can
change the font size. Suppose I have given
the font size 18. But here, if you guys
look closely here, you guys can see I do have a plus side inside the red box. Okay? That means that my text, which I have put, it's exceeding this
particular line. Okay, Let me just increase
the size more here. You guys can see the size of the letter path
is increasing. But I do have this particular
option here. Okay. What if I want to remove
this particular option? Okay. For that I
have to just shift this text or the extra
text that I do have here, I can shift it to other place. Okay. That means that my size of this path or
if I'm creating a box, it is just exceeding
that particular size. I do need to shift this one. I'll click on here. If you guys can see, let me take this,
click on this one. Or if I have this, you guys can see, now I do
have my text back again. If I come here from here, you can see I do have
that text in my box. Now what I can do
is I can create a particular box here you can see the remaining text which I had has been
shifted over here. For that I need to click that
plus option, hold my mouse, and after that create a
box and drop it there. This is one way how we can
manage our excess from here. Let me just delete
this one from here. And this box as well. Okay, I'll delete both of this. I'll just increase the
brightness of my keyboard. Let's move on to the other uses of how you can actually
work with text here. Okay, I do have the
basic type tool. Okay, Now I'll create
a particular box. Inside this box, I will like Adobe in design type to glass. I do have this particular
sentence here. I will copy or I'll just mark this particular
text from here. And increase the size
accordingly. From here. I can basically increase the style or the
font size from here. If I want to go one by one
from here, I can do that. If I want to decrease,
I can decrease it. And I can also see the
preview here on my screen. Okay, I can just increase
the size accordingly. From here, I can choose what
type of font size do I need, or the font style. Okay, from here I can choose different font
style, as you can see. Go on top and I'll just
take this Calibri. But in Calibri, I'll
be choosing the bold. I have chosen this one. Now here you guys can see
I do have this one again. If I select this
particular thing here, now I can also change
the color from here. Okay. How I can
basically do that? Come to this option right here. As you can see under
the appearance option, I do have the option
as file. Okay. Here are a few of the colors
which we can choose, okay? If I don't want any color, I can just simply click on None. Or if I have applied
already any color, suppose I have applied
this color here. Okay. Now this is pink in color. And let me select this again. Click on this. And if
I click on none here, you guys like there
is nothing here. Okay? I can do that as
well if I click here. If I want to choose some
different colors from here. Not all these
options here, okay. I want to choose some
different color. I can click double click here, and I can choose the color
accordingly from here. Okay, suppose if I
choose this one, or I can just click on, okay, I have not
selected this text. First, you need to
select the text. If you do have any color, double click here, you can
see I will just choose color. Yeah, I'll choose this one. And I'll click on Okay. Here. You can see the color of my text have changed
here as well. The same way I can change
the color of my stroke. Come here, let me
take this pink. And I'll click on Okay. But I'll change my
stroke size from here. Okay, I will change
the stroke size here. You can see I have also changed the stroke
size from here. I hope you guys have
understood here. Okay, so these are some of the setting I have shown you guys how you
can fill the color, how you can change
the, the stroke width, and also choose your
font style font size. After that, let's come
to this option here. Okay? This is basically
called the letting. Okay? To show you guys
the leading first, I need to copy this
particular text. Copy from here, down here. I will base this one. I do have two lines. Now what I'll be doing is I will select both
of this line, okay? If I increase the
size here, okay? This is the letting option. Once I'm increasing the letting, you guys can see
the spacing between both of this line is
increasing, okay? And the same way, if I
want to decrease the size, I can decrease the size as well. Okay, In that case, let me show you guys one way of how you can actually
make some design using that. Come here, go to this
color option here. Now I want to select a
different set of color. Okay, Maybe I'll
take this color. I'll click on Okay. For strokes, I'll come here
and I'll take a yellow color. For my strokes, my
stroke width is fine. Now I do have this color here. Okay. Now I'll take
both of this text. Once I have selected
both of these text, you guys can see here, this is just added here. Okay? Now, if I just decrease the letting
from here, okay? You guys how this
basically looks, okay? If I want to overlap
this one first, I can do that as well. Okay? We guys can
do that as well. This is the use of
letting increases or decreases the side between
both the lines, okay? This is the use of this one. I will just go and increase
the letting from here. Again, I do have this one. Now let's understand
what is tracking. Okay? Tracking also,
I need to show you in both the lines for that. Let me again choose
both of this line. Now let me just
increase the tracking. You can see once I'm
increasing the tracking here, you can see the width between the letters is increasing here, the width between the
letters is increasing. I can increase it
as much as I want. Okay, I can do it till here. Let me take a single word copy. And I will paste this
just underneath this one. Okay? I'll paste this one. Select this particular
word, and now increase. This. Okay? So I can do it
as much as I want here. You guys can see this will just increase the spacing
between the letters. Let me just go back again. I do have my letters here. Okay, let's come here and
take this word again. Copy this one past here. Now I'll select this one and I'll remove
everything from here. Okay, I'll just take
a simple color. I will just remove
the stroke as well. Okay, so here you guys can also see different
options for strokes. Okay, here is the limit. If I want to change the width and everything
but I don't want, I'll just come here and I
will take a white color. Okay? So this is my thing here, come here, take a white color. Yes. Now let's come
here from here. Now, I will make you
guys understand about this particular option which is called as the Kerning, okay? If I keep my or gust
any letter from here. Now if I come here and if I try to increase or
decrease the size from here, you guys will be able
to see some changes. Okay? Here as you guys can see, I can change the spacing
between the letters. Okay? Here in this case, I don't have to change the
spacing in the whole word, I can change the spacing
between letters. Okay, This is one way we
can basically do that. Also, again, I can change the spacing from here, see here. Okay, After that, let's
come to the options here. Okay? If I select
whole of my text here, I can see, or you guys can also see that I do have
different alignments. Okay. This one is
the right alignment. If I want to bring
it in the center, I can do that the right side. If I want to justify with the last light align
left, I can do that. This one is this. Okay. I'll just choose to
align it in the center. As you guys can see here, I do have some advanced
option as well. Okay. So if I want to go
to the left indent, okay? If I want to, if I want to increase this one
as well, I can do that. Here are a few of the options which you guys can
try out as well. Okay, so let's live
about this one and let's come here in some of the advanced options
of this one, okay? Here you guys can
see after ring. I hope you guys have
understood about this, the ring, and also the
tracking mode, okay? After that, here
you guys can see I do have the option for
the vertical scaling. Okay? For that, I'll
be choosing just one, uh, letter from here. Suppose I'll choose this one. Now, this letter, I can
increase it vertically, as you guys can see. Okay? Now, if I choose
this same letter, I can also change this
one horizontally. Okay? So I can also change
this one horizontally. As you can see, I
can change that. Okay. So here you can see by how many percent
I'm changing now, this is another option. This is called the
baseline shift. Okay? So the baseline
shift means I can just on top or I can
also take this one down. Okay, This can be used
in doing any animation. Like I do have this one now
if this letter I can go down. Okay. In this case also, if I just go down a little bit and come up here to
this one, I can increase. Now you can see if I
choose this, I will go. This is one way how you can an I know this doesn't
look that great, but you guys can basically
work this one out. Okay, I'll just delete this. I hope you guys have
understood this option. Let me again write this
thing again from here. And now if I select a
particular word from here, let me just select
this whole word. Okay? I can also select the
level of bend I want here. Okay? This is the option of
how much do I want to bend? My letter here you guys
can see I'm bending in by 20% now 22% And here you can see the bend
here in my letter. So I can also bend
these letters as well. Okay? I can select the type
of language do I want to use? Okay? So there are
quite various options. So you can choose your
selected language from here. Okay? After that, here you can see this is an option
in which I like, if I want on my letters
to be in capital, I can choose this
particular one. After that, I do
have this option. If I just want my
first letter to be next one to be in small,
I can do that as well. Let me show you guys an
example, you can do that. Suppose if I write class here
using the small caps, okay? Now I'll select this
whole word from here. If I select this option, you guys can see I do have this letter all in
capital letters, okay? But if I come here and
again choose this one, you can see this one is large. And after that, this is
followed by capital letters, but this one is small. Okay? So this is one way. Okay? And here you can see if I want to add
any superscript, I want to use any subscript. I can do that as well. Okay?
For that, if I come here. Okay? If I choose this one, I'll choose this one first. Let me write just
H or one by two. Okay? Now, I'll select this two. Now you guys can see this
is one powered by two. This is how we can
add a subscript here. Okay, superscript. Now, if I want to add subscript, in that case, I will
just write a formula. These are used in
writing any formula, something like that if you
have studied chemistry. So I want to write H H two, in that case, I want this
one to be subscript. Then I can keep it like
that Here you guys can see now this one is like, this is how they
basically write. We can do this one as well. Okay? After that, if I want to underline
any of my statements, suppose I want to give
underline to this here. Okay? So for that, you guys can come up
here and you can click on this option as you
guys can see here. Okay? If I click on this one, I will have a line just
underneath this one. As I do have some strokes here, you guys are not
able to see that. I'll just remove this
particular stroke. I'll this one. Okay. I'll just write something now. Let me select
this one stroke color. The field color will be black. Okay, Now I have selected this. I'll select the
underline option here. You can see underline
option here. Okay? So this is how you
can keep up underline. Now, if you want to
strike this off, okay, Suppose I'll select this
particular word from here. Now I want to give like this. I can also do it
using like this. Okay? I just can just strike
through my particular word. So this is one way
of doing this, okay? So I hope you guys have
understood this class, that what are the different ways of playing around with word. In next class we'll
be learning about this, bullets and numbering. How you can insert a
special character, how you can insert placeholder
text and also footnote. We'll be learning
everything in detail. Take care everyone
and see you all in the next tutorial on the
same topic in our part two.
5. Text tool in Indesign-Part-2: Hello guys. Welcome you all to another chapter of Adobe
Indesign Tutorial. Here in this class we'll be
learning about the text too. As I have already explained to you guys in the first part here, we'll be learning from
bullets and numbering. As this is quite vast,
the bullet and numbering, so I have kept it in a
different part that I can explain everything about
the bullet and numbering. After that, we'll be learning
about the placeholder text, how you can basically insert
node and everything as such. Let's not twist time and
let's get started with the second part of
text tool in design. Here I'm back again in the same page in which I have explained to you
about the first part. Now in the second
part, I'm going to talk about the
bulleting. Okay? For that, again, I'll
take another text frame. I'll take this one. I'll increase the size. Okay. Now, let me write
a few points here. Okay? I'll write, well, then rugby minton, then tennis and baseball. I do have these
five points here. Now let me select
the five points. Change the size as well. Now I guess this one
is visible right now. Okay, If I want to add Bullet in the beginning of
all these five options, I can click here and you can see there is a bullet point
which is being added. Okay? But if I don't want
bullet points, instead of that, if I want to use
numbering like it will follow 12345 and so on. Okay? So it will go like this. This is the basic thing
about bullets and numbering. How we can actually
add any numbering to our file or to our options here. So this is one way. Let's try to see the advanced option of bullets and numbering, okay? So here you can see a small column or
a button which is known as options.
I'll click here. From here you guys can see page just popped up
when I click this one. Okay, make sure that you
guys always on your preview. Okay, preview is basically a
thing from where you'll be able to see all these changes you made with your text, okay? This is quite useful
that you guys will be able to understand which looks
better with your design. First option is the
list type, okay? Here, as I have
selected the numbers, now the list type is numbers. But if I don't want anything, I can just none. But if I want bullets, I can select this one. Okay? Let me keep
numbering for now. From here you can
select the level, okay? I'll just keep this
one as level one. From here you guys can see
the numbering style, okay? This is the basic format. It will go by 1234, but there are other formats
as well, okay? This one. This one, it will start
from 0102, Like that. I also do have the capital
Roman letters as well. Here is the small
Roman letters here. Well, I do have the
letters like ABCD here. I do have the small
letters as well. Here you can see different ways of format here,
which you can use. Here. You can see the
numbering option as well. Okay. From here I can insert special character or I can also insert special
number placeholder. Okay, I can do that here
in character style. You guys can take a new
character style and save it, like suppose you like that
particular character style. Now you want to save that one. Here you can just
select a name and just can apply this in your
other projects as well. Okay, so here you can just type anything
like it is based on what or if you want to create a shortcut key for that
particular character style, you guys can do that as well. Okay, I do have a
separate class on character styles
and paragraph style where I'll be explaining you guys what is
the vast use and the most important use of
using a paragraph style and a Character style. Okay,
let's come back from here. Now, here you guys can see the bullet or the
number position, okay? As you can see now my words or these points
are aligned to the left. Okay. Here the
alignment is left. In that case, if I want to
align it in the center, I can align it in
the center as well. If I want to align it to
the right, I can do that. Okay? Now I want to
align it to the left. Now I want to change
the left in from here. Okay, I want to
change the spacing. If I increase the size here, you can see the characters is just moving onto this
particular word here, okay? And here is the
first line, indent. My characters will go
on that side here. If I change the
tap position here, you guys can see only
my points will go okay. Not the bullets. Okay.
I'll just again, bring this back. Okay. Now I do have this one
and I can click on. Okay. Till the time my
preview panel is open. I can always view the
changes, my page or not. Okay. I hope you guys have understood about the
numbering till here. Okay. Let's see if I
choose the Bullets option. Okay? In bullets
option, also here, this settings are same, but the main thing comes here. Okay, From here, if I want to select any
bullet character, I can select from here. As you guys can see, I have few of the saved
bullet character. I can click here and
get a preview of that. Is it suiting my page or not? If I like this one,
then I can just click on okay is done. But if I want to
change anything, I can do it from here. Okay, I'll come here
in this ad option. If I click on Ad here, you can see there are a ton of characters which I
can use as a bullet. Okay, here is a lot of options
which I can explore. Here. You can see as well. Okay, I do have all of this. I can use this one. These are the phone family. From here, you guys can
select the phone style. Okay? This one is only regular. Let me most basic thing, which is the Calibri. Here you can see the
Calibri characters, but in Calibri I want to
take a bold italic one here. Once I have changed
the font style here, you can see the font style
here also have changed. Okay, If I come down, I want to take this one. If I want to add it to my
timeline of bulleting, I can just click here. I can just click on, okay. As I have added this one here, you guys can see this
particular icon here. And you can see it is
just on my bulleting, in my work page as well. Okay, The same way if you guys want to delete
anything from here, suppose I don't want this
diamond shaped icon. I can just select this particular icon or the character from here
and click delete option. Once I have deleted, I don't
have that option anymore. Okay, from here. Basically this are the same
thing like the text after. Where do I want to put all that? Here is another option
for character style. Like if I want to save
this particular style, I can click here and save
it and give it a name. Okay. I do have that
option as well. Okay. Till this much was clear. I guess now you guys have understood about the
bullets and numbering. Bullets and numbering is quite vast as I have explained
to you each and everything about this
option like I've shown you guys how you can explore
these options as well. And choose your own bullets and your own way of
numbering things down. Now as I have selected
all this here, now I want to do
some quick actions. Okay? Under Quick actions, the first thing is change case. Okay? Once I change case, see four pop up options. First one is the upper case, the lower case, title case, and the sentence case. Let me start with the
upper case option here. Once I've selected all
the text here in my box, If I select the
upper case option, you guys can see all my
word or the points which I had is being transferred
to the upper case letters. The same way if I select
the lower case here, you guys can see
all these are in the lower caps if I come
here and I select the title. Option, you guys will be able to see that the first letter of, the first letter, of each and every word will be changed
to capital letter. The rest of the letters will
be followed by a small cap. Okay. Let me select
this one here. As I've told you, you guys
can see the changes here. Okay. Now I'll be showing you
guys about the last thing. For that, what I'll do is
I will just write team, I will just copy this text from here or just select this particular text copy. I'll paste this here. Take this letter copy. I will paste this here as well. Okay, as you guys can see here, I have taken this three words. Now I want to change
the three words. Okay, This sentence
consists of two words. Legally, we can
call it a sentence. In that case, I come here
in the change case option, click on the sentence, you guys will be able
to see the change. Okay? So as I have selected the sentence or
the sentence case, okay, here you can
see the first letter of each and every sentence
is being changed. Not the whole text as these
were all in capital letter. Now it's being turned
to the small caps. Okay? So this is one
way of how you can change your wording, Okay? This is one way how
you can change your S. Now from here you guys can
see the new hyperlink option. From here you guys can
basically create a URL. Okay? If you want to
link it to URL or file e mail or
shared destination, you guys can do that, okay? And here you can also
select the PDF, Appearance. Look how it will look like. Will it be invisible
rectangle or a visible one? You guys can see that. Okay. This is the
option for appearance. If you come here to
the accessibility, you guys can also select the assibility as
well from here. Okay. After that,
you can also insert a footnote and also insert
the end to your statement. Now let's come here, Let me delete all these options. And now I'll select my box here. Or just select this
whole text box. And I'll delete this text box, create a new text box here. Now the next option is fill
with placeholder text. Okay, I can basically
fill this one with a lot, many texts like
there won't be any spacing between the
word I'll put here. Okay, Placeholder text
is basically also called the dummy text that
suppose you want to just one temporarily after that. If you want to design
this particular sides, you just want to
fill this gap and see how it will basically look. You can just fill this one with some dummy text and later can remove and put on
the main thing here. Okay, I will just come up here and I will
select this option, like filled with
plus holder text. Here you guys can see
this is totally filled. This total box is being
filled with dummy text. Now if I come to this
selection tool option, if I decrease the size here, you can see a plus
option appears. Okay? That means that my
particular text box is not able to fit in all
the characters inside. Okay? So from here as I
clicked on that plus sign, you can see here on my cursor, I do have this text. Okay? So I can just
click anywhere, wherever I just want to drop
my text, I can do that. And I can also manage
the spacing now here if am trying to maintain this
here as I do have this one, if I'm trying to
decrease the size here, you can see I can decrease
the size from here as well. This is one way how you can
put the placeholder text. Delete. Delete this as well. Let me create another
text box here. I'll be showing you guys a
different way of how you can basically fill this
with placeholder text. In design or in any application, we always have two or three
ways of doing a single thing. Okay, I've shown you guys the placeholder text from
here under the Quick Options, but you can also come up here just right
click on your mouse. And if you right click just underneath the insert
break character option, you have an option called
fill with placeholder text. This also does the
same thing here you can see it Just fill me
up with a dummy text. I can just move this or
keep this in center. This is one way of
doing it as well. Okay, placing this with
a placeholder text. I hope you guys have
understood everything about text in both of the class. I have explained
to you guys about the usage of the type tool here. Okay. I've shown you
guys how you can type on a path and
different ways of playing around also the advanced method of
using your text. Okay. Now, after attending both
these parts of text tool, I hope you guys are now clear
about text tool in detail. Like I have told you,
whatever is there in design about the
text tool that you need to know to enhance the quality of your
work in in design. Okay. I'll just delete
this one as well. Yes. I just forgot to explain you one thing in the
basic tools part. Okay. Here as I do have this rotation tool
scale tool and the shear tool, I'll be telling you guys what is the use of that for that first, let me create box. Okay. I do have this
box now with this tool. If I come here,
right click here. As you can see, I do
have the rotation tool. Using the rotation tool, I can basically rotate. Okay? You can also rotate
your box or any shape. You guys can do this as well. Now, let me bring this
one here in the center. This is one way of doing this. Now, if I click on this here, this is called a
scale tool, okay? Basically, using the scale tool, you guys will be able to
scale this down, okay? Suppose I do have this here. You can see I can scale this
down from here as well. Okay? I can basically scale
according to my need. I'll scale this one tool here. Now, the last option
which is the shear tool. Okay? The shear tool
is basically used to share down your character. Okay, For that,
if I try to down, as you can see, I can make different animation or
different styles from here. This is one way of doing this. Okay, I selected this part here. I will just decrease this down. I have kept this one
here and I can feel color here in this
particular box as well. Okay. This is one way. Now, the last option after the shear tool is the
free transformation tool. Okay? Here using the free
transformation tool here, you guys, I can transform
it accordingly. If I want to decrease the size, I can decrease from
any ends from here. If I want to increase,
I can increase. Suppose I want to increase it from this side, I
can increase it. This is one of the free
transformation tool which can be used in design. Hope you have understood
this class as well. Now you guys are clear about
the type tool in next class, how you can use and make
long text in design. We'll be learning about that. Basically, as I've told, this is a tool for
creating books, US business cards, or
any brochures or flyers. This application
have a vast option of type or the text tools we'll
be learning about how you can use different
tools to write down your paragraph or long
sentences in in design. Hope to see you in
the next tutorial. Till then, take care
and goodbye everyone.
6. Using Long texts in Indesign: Hello everyone and
welcome you all to another chapter of Adobe
Indesign tutorial. So now we're in our chapter
number four and we'll be learning about how you can use your long text in Indesign. So here in this class
I'll be showing you guys how you can make different columns,
adjust your text, and also if you do have
a file which is given by a client or you don't know the particular
size of that file, how you can actually take
that whole file down into your system without any
hassle or doing it manually. Just within one click, you'll have the whole document in page by page in your system. I'll be showing you guys about all that and I also will
be showing you guys of doing that same thing in a long way like
manually page by page, go to the plus
option, copy paste. Showing you guys all that as well is also helpful if you do have any small document that you can place it
according to yourself. I'll be showing you
about all that. I'll also tell you
guys how you can basically start writing your
first book by yourself. Okay, let's not
waste time here and let's get started with this
particular chapter now, as you guys can see, again, I'm back here in my
home page of design. From here now I'll be
creating a new file. For creating a new
file. I'll click here. Okay. First I will
just rename this one as long text class. Now I will let my
width be 8.5 " height, 11 " units in inches
only orientation. The portrait mode. I want three pages here. Let me just take 44 pages. I want facing pages. I won't take columns
here, no column gutter. What word here I'll be
doing is I'll just unlock this one and I'll just
increase the blade. Okay. Before that,
let me just see the preview of how it
will actually look. Okay, let me see
outside and inside. Let me check. Okay, my blade is fine as well here
if you guys can see, once I have the facing pages on, I do have the option
in blade as top, bottom, inside and out. But one side of this particular
one now it became top, bottom, right, and left. Not inside and outside. Okay. So I'll just on
this facing pages again, now I will decrease this one. Now I'll create on page here. Okay. Now I do have
this pages here. As you can see, I do have
my facing pages as well. Okay. I have selected
four pages here. You can see my blade
as well, just outside. Only on one side. Okay. Let me come here again with my hand
to let me just move. Now what I'll be
doing is let me just take this text box
with my text box. Let me create a box here. Okay, I do have a text box here, right click and fill this particular box
with placeholder text. As you guys can see, now my particular box here is just fill with
placeholder text. Now what I can do is
if I want to decrease this box size or if I want to divide this particular
text into column, what I can do is I
can come up here, as you can see from here. I can scale as you can see how my mouse indicates me like that, I can just create a
particular box here. Okay, Suppose I'll
create a box tale here. But the problem here is I
don't have the full text here. As you can see, I've
already told when. You can see a plus
sign option here. You guys need to
know that, you do. I'll click here. As you can see, once I have clicked there on
that plus option from here, what I can do is I click here. From here I can make a text box. Once I have taken this text box, you guys can see now I
do have my text here. Okay? This extra text have
filled this box as well. But again, I do have
extra text here. Okay. Now, I will decrease
the size of this one. Take this and again
create a box here. Let's see, does it
fill this box or not? Okay. But still I do have more. Okay. This is one way of doing this or creating a column here. As I do have the frames here, like the text frames or
we can call it columns. We can also increase the size or the number
of columns from here. Okay, let me just increase the number
of columns from here. As you can see here in
this particular box only, it will just increase
the number of frames. Okay, As you can see here, if I decrease, this
is how it will basically look from here. I can also choose
the column gutter. Or you can also tell
the text frame gutter. See, this is increasing the
space between the columns. Okay, This is known
as the column gutter. Again, I, if I go to the
options again from here, as you can basically
select from the general, you can select the fixed
number of columns. Okay, here you fixed number, fixed width, flexible width. You can also select the gutter or the spacing between, okay, the number, the width. Then inset spacing. If you want to do any spacing in the top, the bottom, left, and right here, you do have
the linking option as well. Okay, here is the
vertical justification. If I want to justify it in
the top or center bottom, I can do that as well. Okay, I don't want anything.
I'll just click on. Okay. I hope you guys
have understood this much like how you can
basically work with long text. And if you want to put this
one in column how we can put this one and also maintain the column gutter or
the text frame gutter, which is also known as
the spacing in between. Okay, now I hope you guys have
understood all this much. Now let me just delete
this whole frame here. Okay, I will let
this one as well. Okay, now again, I do
have a fresh page here. Now we'll be learning.
Like if you do have any document in any format, suppose your client gave
you a particular document, but in that document
you don't know how many pages they do
have in that document. How you're going to take
that down in your in design application and how you
can start working on that. Suppose they just gave
you a scramble word book. Now you need to make that
a proper book like book. You need to make that book. In that case first,
what you're going to do is come here in the file option, I'll be showing you guys the long way to do that as well as the short
way of doing that, okay? After you come to new, you guys can come here on the place option which
is control plus D, Come here in the
place option here. I do have this file and
these are few of the files. Okay, here is the long document. I'll just open this here. You see this one? I'll take the long
text from here. As you can see, I do that particular file
on my cursor here, okay? If I click here on this file, you guys can see I do have
all these things here. Now, let me zoom out Back, zoom in a little bit, okay? From here, if I click on
this plus option here, I can come again again here I do have the plus option and
I can copy this one here. As I do have another plus
option here, I can copy this. This is one way of doing
this thing here, okay? I can just continue the
process till the time. I don't have a plus
option there, Okay? This is one way if you do have any word document or any kind of document which you want
to place it in design, which is about ten to 15
pages, you guys can do that. But for me, if I do
have 100 or 150 pages of the applica of
this saved work. So in that case I'm not going to repeat this
process because it is quite time consuming as
well as it's not quite fun. Okay, In design is basically built in such
a way that it have the power to maintain so
many pages at the same time. Okay? Like it can store so
many pages at the same time. Now, I will just let
this come up here. Delete this as well. Here also, I'll delete all the pages which
I have created. I'll just delete. I'll show you guys the most basic way
of how you guys can do that. Now I will come again here. From here, I'll click on
Creating a New File out here. What I'll be doing is I'll
take the facing page. Everything will remain
the same except I will just tick or mark this
primary text frame option. Okay? I've selected this and I will create
the page from here. Okay? So I have selected
that thing there now. Now what I'll do is I will
come to this page here, okay? If I come to this page now, or go to the parent page here, now I can place the
file the same way. I'll come here, Go to
the long text, open, go back, and as
you can see here, one my cursor is there inside the margin or
inside the page here. You can see this is
some kind of thing. Is there inside my bracket. Okay? Or you guys can see
there is two brackets. And after that my
paragraph starts. But just look at the
icon on my mouse. If I am coming outside
of the margin, you guys can see a different
type of icon appearing. Okay? So always we
need to make sure that we are keeping our text, which we're going to
copy inside the margin. Okay. If I click
here, as you can see, this is automatically
creating all these pages, which I have there
in the documents. My document is of 12 pages, but you guys can have more. It can handle 100, 200 pages. Although at the same time, and it will just take
some time to load that and it will give you
all that pages because this application
is made for that. Only like this is one way how this application will
work here, okay? From here now we can come and make our
changes accordingly. This is another way
of handling long text or long work in design. Okay? This is how
we can actually bring down the whole
work in our panel. Here you will be
able to see here, you guys can see also option
called the parent page. Okay? Parent page is
quite helpful and quite important which we'll
be learning for that. Let me just delete all
these pages from here. Okay? I'll just take a new file. Let me just save
this one long text. I'll save this one. Delete this open or
I'll create a new one. Okay, Now I won't be adding
anything here in the page. I'll just click on Create Here. As you can see, I have
created a page from here. Once I select this
particular framing inside, you guys can see option
appearing here, okay? It is written, this story is from the parents primary text. Once we try to copy a particular
set or particular pages, suppose it's more
two or three pages and it can go up to hundreds. In that case, if we just
off this one, okay, then we won't be able to past those pages 1 by one,
like how we did. Okay? We always need to make
sure that this option is on when we try to copy our text or a
particular group of file. In, in design application. If I'm just offering
this one the first way, how I've showed you that
how you need to make your file or drop down your file like click on that
plus option copy paste. Copy paste again and again,
you guys have to do that. But if you, on this
particular thing. Okay. So you don't
have to do that. Just within a single click, you can copy a whole article
here in this application. Okay. Hope you guys
have understood this class about parent
pages. Let me show you all. Okay. Just an overview. As I have selected the
parent pages here, I do have this too. Parent page is basically the page where if you
make any changes, it will be followed onto
the next pages as well. Suppose I will come here and let me take
this rectangle box. And using this rectangle box, if I make one box here now
with my selection tool, I'll click on this box. If I click on all here, I will take another box here. Now I do have two boxes here. As you can see, I want to put some color here in this box. Okay, Let me take blue on this, on this box here, let me red. Okay. Now, I do have this
on my parent page. Okay? If I come to pages here, if I come here, now I'll
go here to other pages. Here you guys can see this
particular layout which I have created here. Let's see. Okay, On my left I do have the blue color
lighting on top, and on the right side, I do have a red
color lining on top. These changes are
made because I have created changes or I have made some changes
in the parent page. This will be followed onto
all the next pages which I'll create or under
this parent page. Okay? In next class or
the class after that, I'll be explaining to
you guys everything, whatever is there in this particular software about pages. I'll be explaining you guys about this parent
page in detail. How you can add one or more
than two parent page that you guys can easily work and create your own design
in each parent page. Okay? These are basically, you suppose you're writing a magazine or you're
writing a book. In that case, you
sometimes want to have a different layout
for chapter number one, a different layout for
chapter number two. In that case, you
don't have to change it individually one by one, or after writing one chapter, you need to delete
that parent setting. And again, do that for
the second chapter. You don't have to go through
all that hustle here, as you can create 23
or more than that. Parent pages here. Particular application, I'll
always suggest to you guys while you create parent
page or any page here, okay, or any particular setting, I will recommend you guys that you guys rename it properly. Otherwise, it will be name as Untitled or parent
page B and it will be a confusion that what did
you create that setting for. It will just confuse you and maybe also spoil your work at the same time or
increase your timing. That again, you have to
first go through that, make the arrangements,
preview it, it will take a lot of time. My suggestion is first
you guys see that one and rename it properly, that you guys can just have
a look, look at the name, and know that for
what purpose you have created that particular setting. Okay, take care of everyone. In next class, we'll be
learning about images. What are the different ways of using images in, in design? Like if you want
to put any kind of logo or images here in your page for any
magazine brochure or book, you guys can do that. Okay. Till then.
Take care everyone, and hope to see you all in the next class in
Adobe Indesign.
7. Importing and using images: Hello everyone and
welcome you all to another chapter of Adobe
Indesign tutorial. Here, now we are on our
chapter number five. And here I'll be explaining
you guys how you can import and use images in
this Adobe Indesign. Okay, so here I'll
be telling you different ways how you
can import your images. If you had one images, what is the simplest
way of doing that if you have
multiple images? How you can import that
in different frames? And also I'll be telling you
guys how you can use that. And the main option under the images is the
frame fitting options. Okay, so here they do provide us with an option
called the frame frating, where you guys can actually fit your images according
to the frame and also according to
the size of the image. It depends on is it a portrait image or is
it a vertical image. We'll be learning
about all that. We'll be exploring everything
about images in this class. Let's get started with a
particular class here. Here. As you guys can see, I'm in the workspace again now. I'll be showing you guys
different ways of how you can basically import your
images in this workspace. For that, I'll start with
the simplest one, okay? As you can see here
in my keyboard, I do have this options or
I do have this images. I want to import
those images here. What I can do is I can
just drag this here. Once I drag you guys can see I do have my
image on my cursor. Okay. One thing what
I can do is I can make a size of box here. Okay? This is one way of doing this and the other one is if I come here again and try
to bring this one here, I can just click. You guys can see this
particular picture came in a very large size. Okay. Let me just
zoom out and show you guys it didn't
come full as well. Okay? As you can see. So this is the
whole picture size. Okay? If we put like this, then it will look quite bad. Because I don't want
to put like this. I just want to create
a particular frame. And after that I want to
put my images on that. Okay? If I click here from here. If I click the box and I can put these
images inside the box. Okay, If I just zoom in here, you guys can see I
do have my image. Okay, Right here. See inside the image, I do have option which
is a circle thing, okay, a circle icon. What this does do is if I
try to move this one here, you can see my whole
picture is not moving but just
the framing, okay? I am able to move this
particular image, okay? As you can see, a
yellow color line, That does mean that which part of the image I want to cover? Okay. If I want to
cover only this corner, I can do that again. If I want to bring this one in the center, I can bring that. Okay. This is one way. This one is for the same.
I have already told you. Okay? But if I want to
move the total frame, I just have to select the frame. Okay? Not the image. This is how you can
actually move the frame. Okay? You can just
select the frame from here and click Yes, I do have this one selected. I'll bring this
one in the middle. This is how you can move around. Okay, now I'll show you guys if you do have
more than one images, like 23 images, and you want to import
those at the same time. In that case, what are
you guys going to do? I'll just delete this one. Now. Let me create a
few of the frames here. I will take the
rectangle, frame two. Okay. First I'll take three
rectangle, frame two. I'll just copy this one. I'll copy this one here
and one underneath this. I'm copying it using the in my keyboard. I
can create like that. Let me three of this
ellipse frame tool, which is the circle. I'll take this one now. Again, copy this
using a and cursor. Copy this again here. I'll just try to keep
this in the center. Okay, now I do have
the six frames here. In the six frames, what
I'm going to do is I want to put my image here, okay? That it should not go
outside this margin. Okay? So once we create
this frame tool, or any boundary for the images, then in that case we can
basically put images here. I'll show you guys how you can import multiple images, okay? As I do here, like the resource files here, I do have a few other
images as well. With control, I'll
select six images, okay. Now I want to just copy this
one or just bring this here. Okay, I'm bringing
those images here. As you can see, once
I selected that one, I do have that
image on my cursor. Okay, here you guys can see I do have the
image on my cursor. They're asking me which part
or this is the sixth image. Where do I want to put it's? Not that I do have to
put it accordingly, like number wise, I can
put it anywhere as I want. Okay, I'll take here, but here you guys won't be
able to understand the image because the size of these
images are quite large. Okay? So from here you can
just see check out, okay. So as you can see, these are six images, okay, Which I do have here. But I want to fit all
this inside the frame. Okay. So there is a option
here as you can see, frame fitting options
from here we'll do all that magic for
fitting it in the frame. I also do have the
auto fit option here. Okay. Now what I'll do is if I want to select
this particular frame, I can just come here and go
to the frame fitting options. They do have different
options out here, okay? The first one is fill
frame proportionally. If I want to fill it, then
fit content proportionally. After that fit content
to frame frame to the content and also center content and center aware fit. Okay, let me select
this one here. You guys can see this
is how it fitted here. As you can see, this
one is portrait here, you can see it is just fitting it according
to the frame here. Okay? After that, it
can also do this one. The settings basically depends
on picture to picture. For this particular picture, this one is good. Come to this picture,
let's try to see which one will
look better here. You can see this picture
is looking better here. Okay? Now, again,
I'll come here, check for the one
which looks good. Okay? Okay. Maybe I'll
choose this one or this one. Okay? I'm okay with that. Now I will select this one. Okay? This one is fine for this. Again, take this image
and also fit this one. Yes. See now, I do have all these six images in
its particular size. Okay? The size I wanted. But from here also, you guys can basically move the
frame if you want. Okay. I don't need
to move the frame. I'll keep it like that.
Yeah, this is good. I can do all this
using my design here. Okay. I imported six
images and I also showed you guys how you can use the frame and the
fitting options here. Okay. Now let's
take this one here. Under the frame fitting options, I do have some of the
advanced options. Okay, so the first
one is the auto fit. If I want to do any
image auto fit, if I just on the preview here, you can see I'll be able
to see the changes. Okay, This one I've
taken this side now. I can also choose the content fitting
options from here as well. Okay? Fit content to frame and fit content
proportionally. If I want to fill the frame, I can do that as well. Okay? I'll choose
this one from here. If I want to align
it to any corner, I can do it from here. Okay? If I want to align any
image like small images, in that case, if I
do have a big frame, I can align it to any side here. You can see I do have all
the nine sides from here. Also, you guys can
crop down your image. Okay? Here, as you
can see on top, bottom, left, and right, you guys can crop it out. Okay, If I, on this
one, if I want to, suppose I want to crop
this image for that, I'll come here again. Go to this option now,
I'll select this. Now I want to crop. As you can see,
once I'm cropping, it's been cropped
from all the sides. Okay. But from this side, if you just want to
change the left. Indeed here you can see if I am decreasing
the left end here, you can see now here again, if I want to decrease the top, I will come here and I
will decrease. Okay? As you can see, I have
decreased the size from here and decrease
it accordingly. Okay, this is how you
can drop this image. And if you click okay, here you guys can see the preview of how
it actually looks. Okay, hope you guys have under. Here, what are the
different ways of importing your images? If you have more than one images and you want to import
those at the same time, then how you can actually
work here on this workspace. Okay, basically these
images are used to make some magazines brochures or if you're writing any
kind of book there, you can actually past images
here in this tutorial. Also, we do have
different type of class projects where
we'll be doing the class project and we'll
be learning at the same time. Okay, There I'll be
showing you guys how you can make a
book cover, okay? So I'll be giving you guys
class project as well. I hope that every one of you submit your class project
on our project panel. And I'll be rating your work and giving
you advice accordingly. Okay. There is another way of how you can actually
import image from here, okay. First you need to come
on this file option. Under the file
option, you guys come here in the place option. After that, from here you can basically come to
the file, okay. From here I can basically
import an image. Okay, Here you can see
I do have this image, my cursor, okay, I do
have my image here. As you guys can see. Now, if I want to fit it, I can also fit it from here. Okay. Under this
edit option. Okay. Or the file option? The file, It was the object option. Okay. From object, I'll come
to this fitting option here. Now you can see I do have different fitting
options. Okay for that. Let me take one image
down from here. Go to Object, go to
fitting from here. Also these options as well like the frame fitting options
from the object menu as well. Here you'll get the
frame fitting options here, I'll cancel this. I've shown you guys
a different way of how you can import
and use your images. Now suppose you're using a
version of auto design in which you don't have your frame fitting options right here. Okay? In many of the previous
versions of Ab design, they don't have this option
in the SL Shields Group. Okay. For that what
you need to do is you need to go to
the Shel Classic. Once you click on this
Sales Classic here, you guys can see
that you'll have the frame fitting options
just on top here. Okay, on the right top corner, you guys can see an auto
framing option as well. These are few of the
alignments which you can use. Okay, See you all in
the next tutorial or the next chapter where
we'll be learning about how you can basically use pages. I'll be telling you
guys about the usage of pages in detail
in the next chapter. Hope to see you all
in the next class. Take care. And goodbye everyone.
8. Exploring the functionalities of pages: Hello everyone, and
welcome you all to another chapter of Adobe
Indesign Tutorial. So now we're on our chapter number six
and we'll be learning about exploring the functionalities
of pages in Indesign. Okay, so here I'll
be telling you guys about all the advanced options of how you can use your page, add pages, and the usage
of parent page, okay? How you can create
multiple parent pages. I'll be telling you guys about
all that functionalities. I'll tell you guys how you can start writing your own book, and how to add pages and
how to save your work, or how to actually save the same function
used in making one book. If I want to save that
particular function and I can apply
it to other book, I can do that as well. Here, let's not waste time. Let's get started with
the particular class of Adobe in design. You guys already know the basic
functionalities of pages, like how you can add a page, delete a page, and
like that and how you can work inside a
page or put images. But here I'll be spec, talking about how you
can make changes in the parent page and
add two or more pages, or two or more parent
pages that you can write your magazine or
your book properly. Okay? First, I'll be creating
a new file for myself. Okay? Once I click
this one from here, I'll set the width is
fine. Unit is okay. It is fine. But here
I'll be taking 15 pages. I don't want the
primary text frame. I'll take two columns. The gutter between the
column will be 0.25 ". The margin is 0.125
Okay, the blid. Now let me just see a
preview of how my page will look from here. As you can see, my page
will look like this. And I will create this. As you guys can see here, I have a few pages, okay? Like the 15 pages which
I have created just now. I do have all this here, okay? If I want to basically work on pages specifically,
I need to come here. Okay. Here, here are 15
pages in eight spreads. What do you mean by spreads? This one is called one
spread. Like this. As you can see here is a
light color marking here. This is called one spread. This is how I do
have eight spreads. In my eight spreads, I do have 15 pages. Okay. Now what I'm going
to do is from here, if I want to add any page here, you can see I do have an
option for create new page. If I click on this one here, you can see I'm adding
more pages here. I will just delete this. Okay? I will, I can delete
the page from here as well. This is one way of
deleting, okay? But suppose I'm writing a book. In that book, what I need is I want to put some
particular heading. Suppose I'm writing
storybook in chapter one. The chapter name will be
different in chapter two. I want it to highlight
like I do have different object and also different coloring in
the second chapter. For that what I'm
going to, I'll show you guys the usage
of parent page. I'll click here on
the parent page. Now as you can see, I have selected both
of these pages here. Okay. Now what I'm going to do is I want to
make changes here. Now I will try to make
a few changes here. First up, what I'll
do is I'll come here and I will take
a rectangle tool. I'll be creating some
rectangle from here. Okay? As you can see, I do have a rectangle here. Now what I'll do is I'll cancel this with my selection tool, select this one, and using Alt, I will duplicate this. Now as you can see, if I just go down, okay, or let me just
zoom out a little bit. Now here you guys can see I do have this layer here on top. Okay, Here in this
particular layer, suppose I want to put
up a different color. Now in this property spanel, I'll come under the fill option. I can select different colors if I want to take
any color from here. Can choose any color
according to my liking. And I'll click on Okay. The same way I'll
come to this box, but here I want a
different color. Okay? In that case, I can choose a different
color from here. Suppose I want
something like this, then I'll just fill this
box with this color, okay? As you can see, I do
have this and I can also arrange the sizing. Okay? I do have this one
and I do have this here. As you can see, I do
have these colors. Now what I'm going to do
is using my text box, I will try to change
the color first. Now with my text box, I will try to write
something here. Okay, Let me just
write chapter one. I'll increase the
phone size from here. Okay, Let me just increase
the phone size from this end. What I'll do is I will
bring this in the center. Okay, now this one
is done. From here. In chapter number one, I'll write the rise of the king. Select this particular layer as we increase the size
according to myself. Whatever is looking
good to my eye. And now bring this one
to the center as well. Okay, I can also select
different fonts from here. Okay, suppose I do
want this font, and I want to change the
fill color from here. I can take a white
color if I want, I can do this as well. Here you guys can see
I do have my chapter one and my name here, okay? Now, if I come to pages here, if I click on this here, you guys will be able to see
that all those pages which I have under this particular
parent page or the a parent, I'll have this layout in all those pages as I have
created 15 pages here. Okay. Here you guys
can see here I do have my chapter one
and this is the layout. Any layout which we create, we can actually copy these
things in our all pages. This is how we can
basically work with 100 pages or more
than that. If we have. Now let's learn how we can
basically put numbering Okay. From the parent page. Also made it to come
down with a Okay. Two or I'll just
out a little bit. Okay. I'll come here with my selection tool or
with my text box. I will create a text box here. I do have this text box and I'll take this particular text box. I'll take this
particular text box as well here on this end. Okay. Now what I'm
going to write here is I'll just click on the
right hand side from here. Now what I want to put is
I want to put the number, okay, that I'll select here. You can see I do have this option called the
Insert Special Character. Okay. Under this option, I'll come to the Markers
option from Mercer's. I'll be choosing the
current page number. Okay? The shortcut key
for that is control plus all shift plus
N. From our keyboard, I'll click on this one. Let me just zoom in and
look how it actually looks. Basically, this is how it will basically
look the same way. What I'll do is I do
have this file here. I will select this
box here as well, and I'll keep this
one in this corner. Okay? Now what I can do
is I can again, come up here, zoom in
according to my need here. You can see I do
have a written here. Okay, Let's try to understand. This is not just
a basic A, okay? We can just come and write
it from our keyboard. It's not like that, okay? This A is a special character
which can be used here. I do want my page
number in this side. And here what I'll be doing is I'll be
selecting this one. I will select this and I will
just align it in one side. Okay, let me just put my page
number here on this side. Suppose just after this one, I want some characters, like I want to put something like a character
before my each number. So I can do that
as well from here, suppose I want to put hash. In that case, I'll
come here again here, I will put hash tag here. And now I'm all set. And now I can create my pages. I have already made
all those changes. Now I'll click here. Let's out little bit here. You can see I do have page
number one, page number 23, and it will continue till
page number 15 here. Okay. Before that, you guys
can also see that I do have a hash tag just beside
my character in that. We can also put
different letters as well if you want. Okay. Hope till this much was clear, told you guys how to
use the parent page. Also how to put
your page number. Now let's understand that, how we can create
a new parent page. Okay? Here you guys can see I can actually put a new
parent page from here, Okay? I can create one here. In this case, if I want to add a new file or if I want
to duplicate this page, I can duplicate
this page as well. Okay? From here I can
apply parent two pages. Now what I'll do
is I'll come here, I create a new parent. Okay. Here, what I'll be
calling that parent page. Here is the option. Maybe I will call this
one as chapter book. Otherwise I'll click book. I'll click on Okay. This is one based on
this parent page. Do I want to create one? I can do. This will
be based on this one. Number of pages will be 15. But I want this one
in a different size. Okay? I want this to, I will select a
different size, okay. I do want it in a
tabloid size, okay? And orientation
will be like this, in a landscape mode. Now, if I click on, okay, here, you guys can see how my
page actually looks here. Okay, Let me just zoom out. Okay, This is how the actual
page looks from here. What we can do is take
our selection tool. Using our selection tool, we can basically
manage all this, okay? We can do that. If you come here in
our parent page, we can actually select all this. If I just zoom out here, this is the first
parent page, okay? This one is the parent
page here, okay? In the landscape mode. This is one. Another
way how we can actually add a parent
page is if I click here. If I want to create
a new parent page, okay, let it be a prefix, okay? This is a parent. I don't want to create
other things from here. I want to just create
a simple parent page. Okay? I'll check
the orientation as portrait. I can click here. Now if I want to make any changes here in my
portrait, I can do that. Suppose the same
way what I've did. I'll create some boxes here. Then select this
tool, copy this. Now I will put
different colors here. Okay, Go to the properties
option from this, Come here, choose
this color again. Come here. And I'll choose a different color
from here as well. Okay, here I do have
a different color. I'll put this one here. Now with my text, I will. Chapter two. Okay, two in now. I will also increase
the size from here. Okay, increase the size. Bring this in the center. Same, we come here. Period of the Kingdom, the title of the
chapter number two. I'll select this
whole text from here. Now, I'll also change the
font size from here as well. Okay, and bring this
one in the center. Okay? As you guys can see, I do have this one here as well. Okay. Now I can come here
to the pages option. Now what I can do as I've made these particular changes
here in another parent page. In that case, what I can do
is if I want to put here, as you can see, I have
applied all these pages here. You can apply, Click
here and here, okay. Suppose I have clicked here now, you guys can see no
changes till now, okay? But if I click here, if I come to this option, okay, Apply parent to pages from here, like seven, all
these pages, okay? So I'll click on, Okay. And here you can
see I have changed just only this page
from here, Okay? I will just go back again. Here. In this
particular parent here, you can see I do have the
particular parent here, okay? Now, what I do want to apply, this is like I want to
apply this here, okay? Suppose from chapter
number seven. If I click on this one, it will be applied to the pages. But if I click on this, this, and this, as well as this, now click on this
parent to here. Now you guys will be able to
see if I come up here, okay. Out select, Come here. In this option from
pages 6 to 15, I can just click on. Okay. Now the settings for B. Let's come here and
let's take a look. Okay? Yes. Now, this
one was chapter one, Now it has been changed
to chapter two. But here I didn't put any
kind of page numbering. Okay? Here, I don't have
any page numbering. I can come here again
in that parent page, create a text box. Okay? Or a rectangle
box from here. Control plus shift
plus Alt plus N. Okay? Control shift at. Okay. And again, I will take this particular box
from here. I will copy this. Okay? I will copy this
one here. Come up here. Take this one in one corner. Yeah. Before this I want to
put that has again come here. And I'll also put that
hash tag here, hashtag. Now come to this pages option. And I will just select, come here to the
first page again. Let's see. Now here you can
see in my chapter number two, my page number is
being resettled. Okay? 67. And it
will go on till 15. Okay? If you guys
want to see here. I do have page number till 15. I hope you guys have understood this class on how you can
use your parent page. And also different
type of parent page. Okay. Now here you guys
can see your parent pages, Whatever you have created. Now, if you want to create
a alternative layout, okay, so you can actually
create a alternative layout. Suppose you did make a
book, but that same book, you want to get it
in book as well, like in book format, Okay? But the screen size won't be
the same as you all know. Okay, here let me show you. This is called the
spine of the book. Okay, The margin. And this is the column gutter. And maybe here you will
have all your content. This is the outside,
this is called the inside column
gutter, the heading bar. This one is the margin
and this one is the blur. Okay. This is actually
this is not the blur, This is the bleed, sorry. Okay. So this is how
it actually works. Okay. Let me just zoom out and you guys can see
this particular layout, how it actually looks. Let me try to create
book from here, click here. Create
alternate layout. Here, you can see I can
actually name the page. Okay, I will name the page. E book from source pages
and yes, letter V. Okay? And I can choose
the letter size. Okay. So let me take the tabloid size and I want my orientation
to be in landscape. Okay? I can select here. As you can see here, I do have all this. Okay? So this is the
layout of my page, or this is how it will actually
look if I come up here. Okay. And here you can see I do have this parent
ebook option. If I want to edge anything
or change anything, I can come up here and make
those change accordingly. Okay? From here, if I want
to put this bar here, I can do this as well
from here, okay? As you can see.
Now, come up here. Do this for the
chapter two as well. And place it accordingly. Okay? Now, this is how
it will actually look. Now let's come and see here. You can see the changes
are being made from here. Okay, I can also
change this side, the placing of my page number. This is the same. Come again to this option,
change the placing. Okay. These are the few of the easiest way
how we can actually make or copy your ebook format by creating a
alternative layout. Okay, Now you can see, if I just in here, you can see your page number. Now, this looks good, better than the last one. Here in this class, I have
explained to you guys how you can work with pages, like all the options
which explore in pages. I've told you guys about
each and everything, now you guys can
make your own page. Okay, I will give you some of suggestions like
which you can use. Suppose you're writing
a magazine for yourself or for a
company before. Only you need to make sure that how many pages of article
or magazine you're writing as once you're writing
one article magazine. In that case, what happens? You're selling it for $10 okay? But each and every week you're releasing
one copy of that, you're selling it
for $10 each day. Suppose if you have
created more pages. In that case you have created
something like 120 pages. You just over created that page. You can't just go and
sell it for $15 Okay? Because it will be a hassle, like people will
think why I should pay five extra
bucks in that case. Okay? So make sure that you
do have that things in mind. So these are some hacks which I'm telling some
marketing hacks here. You guys can do that as well. Make sure you count on
your pages and keep a record that it will be
also easier to work for you. I hope you guys have understood this class and all
the functionalities. Hope to see you
the next tutorial where we'll be
learning about how you can start your page numbering from any
pages you want, Okay? Suppose if I want to start my number from
page number three, like if I want to start
my numbering from here, I can put one here and it will be followed one
to three from here. Because in many places, like I don't want any
numbering of pages on my first page or the content page or the
acknowledgment page. I don't want number
for all that. In that case, how
you can do that. I'll be telling you guys about all that in detail
in the next class. Till then, take care and goodbye everyone. See
you all in the next.
9. Starting page number from any pages-: Hello everyone and
welcome you all to another chapter of Adobe
Indesign tutorial. So now we're on our
chapter number seven, and we'll be starting
on with how you can start page number
from any pages. In last class,
I've told you guys or explained to you
everything about pages. Basically, I have put up a little more effort on making
you guys understand about the parent page and
how you can add more than one parent page and apply it in the same framework. Okay, so here I'll
be telling you, suppose if I do have an
acknowledgment page, a title page, or a content
page in those pages, I don't want my page number. How I can start my page
number from wherever I want. I'll be telling you
guys that in detail. Hope this class will be helpful
for you all and you guys can understand this
tutorial quite easily. Let's not waste time
here and let's get started with the
particular class here, again, in the workspace. Now, I do have a file where
I do have ten pages here. Okay, now I'll be showing
you guys how to do that. For that I do have
the ten pages, but from this ten page, I'll select this
first page here. Select or just fill this whole box from here
and fill it with a color. Come to the property spanel. Come to the fill option, go to this one here, and I will select
this whole page here. Take the text tool
from this text tool. I will draw text here. From here I will
write chapter one. Okay, Now I will
increase size of this. Okay, Let me just
increase it from here. Now, as I do have
this one, maybe. So let's take this
one first page or as the acknowledgment
page or the title page. Okay? I don't want numbering
in this particular page. I want my numbering to start
from this page here, Okay? Again, let's come to
the pages option. Go to the parent page option. The same way what you'll
be doing is Create. Box here and click Rol Shift Alt plus N. Here you can see I do have
a special character as a. With this selection
tool, click on Alt, take this one here, select this, and now
come to one side. Okay, Maybe come to
the right hand side. I'll just put this
on the right side. Now this is being applied. I will have my coloring or
all these things here, okay? This one is basically
applied here. Okay. Let me just out
a little bit here. You guys can see here, I do have my page
number one, okay? If you guys want to see that. Let me show you guys how
you can view that one. Okay? Here you can see I do have the page number one just
underneath the color box. But what I want is I don't
want numbering here. Okay? Instead of that, I want to start
number one from here, be followed by two, and
so one in that case. Now what I'm going to do is I
want to start it from here. I will click this
particular page here, Right click under that. Here you can see I do have
many options here, okay? One option is numbering
and section options, Okay? Here. As you can see,
once I clicked on that, I did have a pop up window here. Here will be mostly
focusing on the two part. Okay. Here you see this
first option is selected, which is the automated
page numbering. But instead of that
choosing this one, I will be selecting start
page numbering at one, I will click on Okay. From here here you can see
they're giving me an warning that a page number in
this section already exists in this, in
another section. Do I want to
duplicate it or not? I'll just click on. Okay. As you guys can see, once I click on, okay, now I do have page
number one here, 23 and followed by all this. Okay? This is my chapter one. This is how we can basically. Working off. Okay. So
here as you can see, I do have nine pages now because in my first
page I don't have anything. Okay? And now, suppose
I put numbering here. Okay? Or I do put
up a new page here. Let me come here at
page number ten here. Okay? And I will add
a few more pages. Okay? I do have this one now. Okay? So let me come up
here and I want to put another chapter here for that. The same way I will come here, select rectangle box, fill
this particular frame. After that, come to
the fill option. From the fill option, choose your own color, whichever you like,
click on Okay, come to the text box, Create a text box, then write your own
text accordingly. Okay, from here maybe
I'll write chapter two. Select this particular layer and increase the
size accordingly. I'll just increase the size. I will also change
the field color. From here, I'll take a
white color for this. Okay? Now, I do have this, okay? But here you can see here, this one is page number seven. Now, I don't want any
page number here, but what I want from here, I want it to start
as eight, okay? What I'm going to do is
come to the pages option. Come to this particular page, click here, numbering
and section. Now here you guys can write
eight and click on, Okay. Here you guys can see
now after this page, I do have 891,011.12 okay? This is one way of doing that. But if I want to change
this again to 1234, like I want to start the new chapter with
new page numbering, I can also do that. For that I again,
need to come here. I'll select this page
Numbering and section, and I'll start this
with one and click on. Okay. Yes. Here
you can see again, I do have my
numbering as follows. Okay. This is one
way of starting your numbering from wherever
you want. We can do that. This is one of the basic
and the easiest way of handling your page numbering
just with a simple click. I hope that this
class was also clear about how you can start your
numbering from any pages. In next class, we'll
be learning about paragraph staling and also
character staling first, Maybe I'll go with one next. It will be followed by another. Okay? If I'm doing first
the paragraph staling, then I'll be in second the character Staling
and vice versa. So we'll start with
character Staling and also paragraph Staling
from the next class. Till then take care
and goodbye everyone. See you all in the next chapter of Autob. Indesign Tutorial.
10. Paragraph Styles: Hello everyone, and
welcome you all to another chapter of Adobe
Indesign Tutorial. So now we are on our
chapter number eight, and we'll be learning about
the paragraph styles. Okay, So here in this class I'll be telling you guys
how you can basically pop up a window where you
can work quite smoothly and efficiently while working with paragraph style and
also character style. So here we'll be learning
how you can save different styles and use it later in your later
video as well. Okay, so I'll be telling
you guys about everything, so let's not waste time here
and let's get started with this particular tutorial back again here in the
same workspace. From here I'll be taking
a letter size document. Now what I'll be doing first is I'll be creating
a text box here. Okay. From here I will create a text box which will just cover my whole entire page here. What I'm going to do is I'm
not going to write anything. Instead of that, what
I'm going to do is I'll just fill it with
a placeholder text, or you can call those
as the dummy text. Okay, here you guys can see once I have selected
this page here, you can see my whole page here. It's filled up with the placeholder text
or the dummy text. Okay, now I want to
create a heading. Okay, as I'm going to talk about the paragraph
styling first, then to get that work space, or to work nicely, or in a more efficient way
here in this application, what I'm going to do is here, as you can see, I do
have the Windows option. I'll come to this
winter's option and I'll go to the workspace. Okay, under Workspace I'm going to choose the
typography option. Okay, as you can see, I do have the typography option, but I'll come here
again and what I'll do is I'll click
on Reset Typography. Okay, now here I am in this
particular page, okay? But as you can see,
my workspace changed. Here you guys can see
the option of paragraph, paragraph styles, character
and character styles. This is a easier way while you're paragraph and
character styles. Okay, so I do have
this letter here. Let me just zoom in a bit. Okay, I do have this letter. What I'll do is I'll select this particular
letter from here. Now what you can do is we can select different type
of fonts from here. Okay, Suppose I want
to take this one, now I want to increase the size. Okay? Now I increase the
size of this as well. Now what I'm going to do is I'll also change the color from here. Okay? I'll come here and let's see what I do have in this theme colors, not
something interesting. Okay, here, take this color. Now, if I want to bring
this one in the center, I can bring this one
in the center as well. Okay? So I do have this here, but I'll just keep
it in one side. Okay. I can also choose size and also the
stroke color from here. Okay, These are a few other
options which I can use here. I have the modification here, what all needs to be done, Okay, I hope you guys have understood till
this much here. Now I have selected this
particular set of words here. Now what I'm going
to do is I'll click on the paragraph style. Suppose I want to save
this particular setting in this paragraph style
that once I click on this particular menu or
this particular option, particular setting or
style will be applied to those letters or to
those set of words. Okay, For that what I'm going
to do is I will click here. Okay. Add selected style
to my current CC library. Okay. Once I have click here, you guys I can
basically add here. Otherwise I will go back. Okay, I will come here again. From here, I can actually
create new style. Okay? From here, double click after double
clicking, I can select. This particular name from here. Okay? Maybe I will type
this one as the title. I will save this one. Okay? Now I do have this particular style
being set already. Let's come here and let's take this particular
word here, okay? Now if I click on this one here, you can see this is being
applied in a lot of page. But I will just go back. In that case, what I'll
do is come here to let this and it from here, select this and click
on the title option. Now here you can see my title or my particular
setting which I have saved is being
applied here as well. Okay, so the same way, I'll click Enter from here, keep this one here. Click Enter from here as well. Okay, now I will select this particular set of
words. Select this one. And here you can see I have
applied the settings here. Okay? The same way what
I'm going to do is I'll take this one from here. So I will select color. Suppose green color,
I'll click on. Okay. Now I want to slant
this a little bit, okay? I'll just slant this one. Or this much. This much is fine. Increase the size a little bit. Now, I do have a particular character paragraph style here. Okay, This one. I can take it as the subheading. I can select this
layer from here. I can also create a
click here again, to create a new color style. Okay, I'll click on here, Create New Color Style here. As you can see,
paragraph style one, just double click here
after double clicking. Also see that here, another pop up menu came. Okay. From here I can
do so many things, but now I'll just name
this as the subtitle. Okay, I will click on, okay, from the
subtitle from here. Now if I select this layer, if I click on subtitle here, you can see a subtitle
is being added. Okay here, click on
this, click on Title. Here you can see I can add all this as well, the same way. Now what I'll do
is I will select this particular set of letters. I will be creating
another style from here. Okay, suppose I want
to use this Calibri. In Calibri, what I'm going to do is I'll take the bold letters. But in the letters, I am going to do a few changes
in the coloring option. Okay? Here, if I come for
the coloring option here, what I can do, I can
change the tint. Okay? So I'll just change the
tint level from here. Okay? And I can click on, okay, This is how it
will basically look. Let me just select this again. And now I can again, create another new
color set here. Okay. From here
again, double click. Okay. I will type this
one as the body body. This one has been applied
here, the same settings. What I want to do is I
want to come here and I want to give this here. Okay? So this is how it will basically look as
you guys can see. Okay, suppose so many
times we do have things, or in some particular
set of sentence, or in a particular verb. I want the total focus
of my clients or my readers in that
particular sentence or in that particular
phase there, how we can actually create
those particular phase. Okay, first here, let
me create a phase. Okay, now I do have this one. I'll be selecting
this in total, okay? Now here on top, you guys can see
few options, Okay? From these options,
what I can do is I can actually shift
this one in one side. Now I shift from this
end as well, Okay? As you guys can see, this one is quite in the middle. Okay? If I want to
take one side up, this one is only fine. I'm happy with this one, okay? I have decrease the left indent from the right indent as well. I have just minimized
that space that you guys will be able to understand and this
will be focused. So to get the focus
of this sentence, what I can do is I can
increase this one a little bit or just give up a color which will
look quite great. Okay, so maybe I will take a bright color,
something like pink. Okay, So I've selected this
particular color here. Now what I can do, I can also select the size. Suppose I want to take 14, but 12 is only fine. Okay, Now I will be saving this particular
paragraph style here as well. Okay? So I'll click on
Create New Style from here. From this I will type
this one as indent. Okay, let me say this one as
the indent. I'll click on. Okay. Now as you can see this to have a
different setting. Okay? The same way if I want to create a setting from here, I will select this
particular set of letters here, or words here. And I'll click on this indent. And here you can see I do have this particular setting
being applied here as well. So I hope you guys have
understood the usage of paragraph style and
how you can save that. Okay, here. Now let's try to understand
this one in detail. This page, actually,
if I look it from far, it doesn't look that bad. Okay? So this is how
you can actually write your pages or
make your own books. Write your own
magazines as well. Okay. But I feel something
is missing here. Okay, like we're missing
out on something. Let me come to this
subtitle option here. Okay, and let's come here. I want to put some spacing, okay, between my
paragraph and the body. Like my subtopic and the body, I came here in the
subtopic option. And from here you
can see I'll be choosing the option called
indense and spacing. Okay, from where I
want to actually increase or decrease my spacing
is from here till here. Okay, what I'll do is
I'll just on my preview, I will just increase
the spacing from here. Okay, space before. Okay, I'm just increasing the space according
to my one here. You can see the
indent spacing here. If you guys can notice, you guys can see if you want to increase it
in the left indent, you guys can do that as well. Okay? An alignment where
you guys want to align it, if you want to align
it in the center, you guys can see
it in the center. If you want to justify
it to the right, just to the left, towards the spine,
away from the spine. I do have all these options. I'll just put it in the center. As I can also see the preview, I'll just click on.
Okay, from here. Okay, here I do have applied
all these things here. Okay. All the settings I
have applied from here. Okay, so I do have the
body subtitle, title, and the indent, and
I have also taught you guys how you can actually maintain your paragraph styles. Now as I have already changed the spacing and bought
this one in the center, you guys know about
the spacing option. Now what I'm going
to show is suppose I have this body here, Okay? Now what I want to do is I have selected this
particular text, which is the title one. I'll come to this title
from this title option. What I want to do is maybe I don't like the
color here, okay. I want to change the color and also the
font size from here. What I can do in that case, like I have sent this particular
work to my client and he told that in my headings I should
use a different color. In that case, I
will just come to this particular option here
or I can do another thing. From here I'll be showing you guys the most basic thing, okay? Come here in this option. Suppose they told me to
use a yellow color, okay? I will select the
yellow. Click on, okay. And here you can see
everything will be changed in those
particular colors, okay? The same way, if I want to
change this one, I will it. The subtitle here, you can see I do have
the same options. Okay. I'll go again to
the character colors. I can change the width
and the colors as well. Okay, I can put
different colors. From here. I can select
the color type process. If I want it just to be in
spots, I can do that as well. I'll just cancel this. Select this red color, click on. Okay. Yes. Fine. I hope you guys have
understood how you can basically change
everything at once. Now, I'm just showing all
these things in only one page, but when you'll be working
in magazine or ebook, you'll have a many pages. All these things will be
applied there automatically. Okay. So you guys don't
have to worry about that. Design is built only in
such a way that it can handle so many pages
and so many images. In this application,
like inside the page, you will have so
many graphic logos and animations and also images. It is built in such a
way that it will be able to handle all
those pressure, okay? We don't have to
worry about that, that it will just
crash sometimes it might due to the
lag in your system. But normally this
website is one of the best for writing
your own book, documentary, or any project. I hope you guys have understood all the options of
paragraph stalling. In next class, I'll be telling you guys about this
particular option, about the character styling. Just right now, I have told you guys about the paragraph Stalin and how you have saved. Once you have understood
this paragraph stalling, this will be quite easier because the process is the same. But instead of
choosing a paragraph, paragraph is basically
this one, okay? Till this much it's
called a paragraph. I like more than one word where it is just divided by a space
that is called a paragraph. Here I have showed you guys the use of paragraph characters. I can select a particular
set of words in my text. If I want to just highlight
any particular word, I can do that using
the character style. And I'll save those and show you guys how
to make changes. I hope to see you all
in the next tutorial. Till then, take
care and goodbye.
11. Character Styles: Hello everyone and
welcome you all to another chapter of Adobe
Indesign tutorial. Now we're on our
chapter number nine, and I'll be explaining you guys about the
character styles. Okay? Suppose if you
want to highlight any particular word in your
document or in your book, how you can actually mark those and also create different styles of word and save
those in your system. After that, I'll be
showing you guys, if you're going to
a new document, how we can actually load back all those previous
styles and use this in your other
projects as well. I'll be telling
you guys all this in detail about
character styles. So let's not waste time here and let's get started with
this particular tutorial. Guys again, we are back at the same work space where I have explained to you guys
about the last tutorial. But here I wouldn't be focusing on the paragraph as
I've already told you, the use of paragraph styles. Okay, now I'll be mainly focusing on
the character styles, where I'll be just any
particular character, and then also editing those. Okay, Suppose I want to use or highlight this
particular word from here. Okay? In that case what
I'm going to do is I have selected this one here, Now I will character style. Okay. From here it
will be regular, but I want to increase
the size of this one. Also what I want to do, I want to increase the spacing
a little bit from here. Now I will change the color. Suppose I will take
this one as the blue. Now I do have a
particular style here. I'll just till this
letter a little bit. Select this one again, till this by 30% Okay, I do have this one. Now, again, come to the
Character Styles option. Under the Character
Styles option, here you can see an option
called Creating New Style. I'll click on this one. Double click this, and once I double click,
I do have this one. I will write keywords, keywords one, okay? So I'll select okay, from here. And now as you can see, I do have these keywords
highlighted, okay? In the same way, if I want to highlight this word as well, I can select this one from here. And select the
keyword from here. Okay, I didn't select
the character color. I will select this.
Okay, From here. Okay, This is how
we can do that. Okay? I will select
the colors here. Keyword here. This is one way how we can actually put up
all these things. Okay? Keyword here, again, here, you can see I
can actually do that. Okay? I can take more
than one keyword as well. If I come here from here, maybe I'll take a
different color. Okay. I'll take
this green color. Now I will tell this
one by 40% Okay. So I'll just write it from
my keyboard. Click on Enter. Yes, I will take the bold, italics, and now I
do have this one. I will also increase
the spacing. Okay. I will change
between the letters. Okay. I'll keep 130. Okay. Now I do have this. And I can also create
a new style from here. Okay. A new character style
double click this one, then I can write key words too. And I can click on, okay. As you can see, I do
have this one now. Now if I select this and
click on this one here, you can see the
changes I made here have been applied in all
these places as well. Okay? Now, if I want
to change the color, we already know how to do this. Come to this keywords
option, double click, okay? Come to this character
color option. From here, you can change the color according to yourself. Okay, I will take the
red color if I click on. Okay, Here you can see. Everything here have been changed to a red
color the same way. Come to keyboards
to character color, I want to select it
to a pink color. I'll click on Okay, and everything have been
changed to a pink color. This is one of the easiest
way of how can change the character styles from here as a whole in our whole book. Sometimes what happened is like if we have too
many character style, we might get confused that
which one is used for what if we use specific type
of naming for that. Like as I do have the
keywords, keywords two, I can basically use all
these keywords accordingly. Okay, If this one are keywords, then I can create
a particular file. If I want to create
a new style group, I'll just select this one, and I'll name this
group as the keywords. Keywords. Okay. I'll save this one. What I'll do is I
will select this and I will just
copy this 12 group. Okay? And here I do
have this group here. As I do only have one group, I will just click
okay from here. As you can see, now I
do have this two here. Okay, I'll delete
this from here. I will delete those styles. Okay? Now under these keywords, I do have both of these settings or the
character styles here. Okay? This is one way
of how we can do this. The same way if we want
to delete anything, just select on this one. And you can click on
the Select Delete selected style or Group. You can delete this
particular style. If you choose this one, the
whole group will be deleted. Likewise, I can also come to
the paragraph styles here. As you can see, I do have
two paragraphs here. I'll select this and I'll create this new
group from Styles. And I will name this group as the title I will click on. Okay. Okay. I need
to choose title. Title. Click Okay. And here you can see under
the title and subtitle, I do have both of
this, both of these. Also I can select, okay, I will just new
group from style, and I can select that
as body and indent. Okay. Body and indent. Yes. Okay. Now, I won't be that confused if I do have a big set of paragraph style and character style as I have categorized this
one particularly. And I will be able
to understand, okay, if we have like 50 to 60
of this, in that case, we can just type this one
for this particular page, for this book, you can
just mention it like that. Okay? There is different way for different people of how they like to stack up their
work and stack up, or just maintain
their paragraph style or character style here. The next thing what I
want to do is here, like I do have a set of character styles
and paragraph styles. Okay, Here in this
particular page, I do have a lot of that. What I want to do is come
here, select this frame. What I'll do is I'll
click on Control. Okay, I'm just saving
this page out. Okay? I will just
name this page as paragraph and character style. I can just save this
particular work here. Okay? As I have
saved this one now. Okay, let come to file open. From open, I will come to this paragraph
and character style, if I try to open that one here, you guys can see I do have this. Okay? In that case, let me come to a new
page or new document. I will create a
new document here. From this, what I'm going to do, I can come here. Okay. Here, you can see
all these are blank, like the paragraph style is blank and also the
character style. This one is also blank. Okay? I don't have
anything here. From here, I can basically load all the character styles and as well as the paragraph
styles as well. Okay? So here you can see this
icon just beside this one. Okay? With the use of this, you can just go back. Okay, but here if I come
back to this option again, go to character styles. And here you can see icon. What I'll be doing is I'll
be selecting this icon here. And here you guys can see if I want to load all
character styles. If I click on this option, I'll only have all
the character styles. But if I click on this option, like load all text styles, I'll have all the textiles including the paragraph
styles as well. Okay, let me do this from the
character styles as well. Come here and see if you just want to load all the paragraph
style you can do. But if you want to load all
textiles, you can click here. Okay. Now where
you have selected, you guys can choose that
particular part. Okay? This is the paragraph
and the character style. I can open this one and you can see once I have opened here, you do have all these
styles from here. Okay, Here under the
title and the subtitle, you have the
subtitle, the title, the body, and indent the
keywords one and keywords two. Okay, I can just check all of this and I can import all
of these things from here. Okay? This one will
be there by default, but you can also upload this. There won't be much changes at all if you uncheck all of this. You can also select, particularly if you just
want to upload two of these character styles or the textiles you
can just click on. Okay now and only two of
it will be available. But if you check all that, every one of these styles will be loaded into
your new file. Okay, I just want all
of these new styles. So I'll click on okay
here once I clicked on. Okay, here you can see the same styles which
I had is here as well. Come to the character
styles again, inside or I'll have two keywords like words
one and words two. In paragraph style two files, subtitle and title,
body and indent. Under body and indent. I do have the body and
indent separately. I hope you guys have
understood this class. In next class I'll be telling
you guys about how you can use text raping in design. Okay? I hope to see you all
in the next class. Now, I hope you guys have
understood in detail what is the usefulness of
paragraph style and also character style. Okay, till then, take care. Goodbye everyone and see you
all in the next tutorial.
12. Text Wrapping: Hello everyone and
welcome you all to another chapter of Adobe
Indesign tutorial. So now we're on
our chapter number ten and we'll be learning
about text wrapping. Like I'll be showing
you guys how you can basically use the
options of text wrap, how you can drop down the menu of text wrap
from your windows. And also I'll be learning
how you can create a visually stunning design for your magazine page
or your brochures. Okay, so I have shown
you guys by putting up an image and also doing some
counter features as well. Okay, let's not waste time here and let's get started with
this particular tutorial here. Back again at the workspace. And now I'll be changing
the workspace from here. Okay, for that I know
what you need to do. I want my essential classics as I'll be working on the
text wrap option from here. Okay, first up what I'm going to do is I'll come to the
Windows option from here. From the Windows option, I'll go to the Workspace. In Workspace I'll select
the Essentials Classic. Okay, so under the option
I do have all this. Now what I can do is I can reset the essential
classic options. Okay? Now as you can see, I do have the page and I have reseated this
particular page. Mostly, basically, we'll be working about
the text wrapping, how you can start off with
text wrapping from here. Okay, First up,
let me come here, let me make a text
box here on top. Okay, let me write
pistachio cake. Okay, I'll write that Ta ke. What I'll be doing
now is I will be selecting this
particular text now. I will just increase the
phone size from here. Okay. So as you can see, I can change the phone
size as much as I want. Now I do have this one. Now what I'll do is I'll select this particular
thing from here. Come to this option or
just double click here. Now let me take this
red color here, and I will choose another
different color here. Okay, let me just take
a green from here. I'll just click on.
Okay. Now you guys can see I do have this box here. Now I can also decrease
the size of this box. Now what I want to do
here is in that case, now I will select
another text box. From here, I will
make another box. Okay, here I will make
another text box. As you can see, I do
have this textbox here. I will be filling this
text box with dummy text. Okay, dummy text are basically called the
placeholder text as well. Right click here. After
right clicking here, you can see the option called
fill with placeholder text. Now once I have selected
this placeholder text, now I can actually
start working on that. Okay, From here what I'll be doing is I want
to arrange this. Okay? Now I'll do
this one later. Okay? Here you can see
the text frame options. Once I click on the
text frame options, if I keep this one here, if I mark this one here, you will be able to
see the changes, whatever changes I make here
in this particular box. Okay, First up, if I change this one to two
columns, I can do that. If I want three columns, I can do that as well. Okay, let me just
keep two columns here and I don't
want any spacing, and this looks good. Okay, I'll be clicking
on Okay, from here. Now I do have a page
with two columns. Okay. Now I'll be showing you guys how we can start
on with text wrapping. First up, I'll be
showing you guys with a basic tool from here. Okay. I have selected the
ellipse tool or a circle tool. Now what I'll be doing is I'll be creating a
circle from here. Okay? As you can see, I do have this
particular circle. I'll be keeping this
one in the center. After that, what
I'll be doing is. I will put some
color in that one. Okay. So let me just
put up a blue color, Not the whole thing,
just this layer. Okay? From this layer maybe
I'll select a blue color. Here you guys can see I do have a blue circle on top of my text. Okay. Now I'll show you guys how you can basically
do text wrapping. From here, you guys can see these are the options
of text wrapping. Okay, this one is the
wrap around bounding box. Here is no text wrap. This one is all click
to open corner options. Okay, this one is
the jump object and this one is the wrap
around object shape. First, let's try this one. Okay, How this will
actually look? Yeah, once I have
clicked on this here, you guys can see that I don't have any words or any letters
underneath my object. Okay, This is one way of
doing the text wrapping. After that, my favorite one
is wrap around object shape. Okay, Here you can see it is
just around the shape, okay? It is not going too far away
or it is not too far out. This is quite an interesting
option from here. Here, if I want to jump object, you guys won't be able to
see any word document here. Okay, let me show you guys that. Okay, this particular
place is totally occupied. Okay, this is just blank
that we can't do anything. In that case, I'll be coming to this option here like
no text wrap option. Now I will select
delete this one. Now from now I'll be showing you guys how you
can import your images. Okay, I did already took a particular chapter on how
you can import your images. What I'll be doing is I'll
use the easiest method. Come here, from here. I do have this image. I can just drag and
drop this image here. Okay? I do have this
image on my screen here. I can select, I can
create, uh, accordingly. Okay? I'll just click on all I want to decrease the size
of this particular image. Okay, First up, what I'll be doing is I'll bring
this steel here. Now what I can do is come here, as we have already known about all this field frame proportionally or all
these options from here. Okay? We'll see which
one suits the best. I can select this one. Okay, I'll select this. Now, this picture of this particular cake is
just on top of my text. Okay, now in this case, I want to bring my text
on top of this image. What I'm going to do is I will be clicking on the
plus option here. Now I'll be going onto
this arrange option. Okay? Once I click on
this arrange option, I do have two things. One is sent backward or
another one is sent to back. Okay? But I'll be choosing
the sent to back option. And the shortcut key for
that is control plus shift. This one like the bracket, I'll click on this
and here now you guys can see that I don't have
my image here, okay? Or if I just go back. If I click on this, Send backward to back. Yes, I do have, after
selecting the image, if I click on this option again, okay, Send to back here, you can see I do my image
just on top of this one. Okay? Now what I'm going, I'll be selecting this whole
text text option here. I'll be selecting the
white color from here. Okay? I'll select
the white color or something that will be
understood quite easily. Okay, come here, come to the text frame
option, select. Let's choose a color from here. Okay, let's choose from here. Something dark. Hey, this looks good. Not bad. Just to show you
guys an example, or if you guys want
to change this again, we can change this to
something like green maybe. Yeah, green is not bad. I can a darker shade of green. I'll click on. Okay. Yes, I do have my
green writing here. Or I will take black, dark black here as well. This is also fine, not bad. Okay. I will take
this one from here. What all options do
I have here again? Okay, They have no problem. I'll just take this thing only. Now, The next thing is I'll
come to this window option. And as I'm working on text wrap, I will come here and I'll
just on this option, if I just mark this
option from here, then I'll have a text wrap box
here just beside my panel. It will be easy for
me to work on this. Okay. I do have this
text wrap option here. Now what I'll do is, as I do have this image here, now I will come here. Okay, keep this box aside, select this layer. After selecting what
I'm going to do, let me come here and explore
all the text wrap option. Okay, this one is wrap
around the bounding box. This option here. Now if I try to increase, but I'll come here on
this option as well. Okay, I want to wrap
to both right and left side here into the
counter settings here. I can see I do have
different settings here. Bounding box detect age, Photoshop path graphic frame. But the one which I'll
be choosing the subject. Okay, I'll be selecting the subject here from here. If I click on this, I can just try to
select the subject. Okay. Sometimes this
is not applicable. Sometimes we can just
detect ages as well. This is one way of doing
your work or wrapping text. Okay, with my selection tool, I have selected this one again. Here. From here I want
to select the subject. Here you guys can see automatically this is
selecting the subject. The subject in this image
is this particular cake. As you can see, here are a few
of the key frames which is dividing the image and
the text separately. There won't be any text
underneath this image, as I want this image to be
highlighted here in my work. This is one way of doing this. Here you guys can see the preview of how
it actually looks. It doesn't look bad, it looks. This is one way of doing this. If I want to include these
edges, I can include this. If I don't want to
include the edges, I can do that as well. Okay, I hope you guys have understood the usefulness
of text wrapping. Also using text wrapping, I have shown you guys
how you can create a magazine page or edited page. Okay, here I have shown
you guys to do that. In the next class, we'll be learning about the
color theme tool in detail. They're in that class,
we'll be learning all that. Hope to see you in
the next tutorial. As we're in the end of our
tutorial almost after this, we'll be learning about
the color theme tool. After the last chapter, I'll be showing you guys a demo of how to
make a book cover. You guys also do. I have given you guys two
class project. One is about text wrapping. Okay? How you can text wrap and make a magazine
page like this one. Okay? Another one is to make
your own book cover design. Okay, so take care of everyone and hope to see you all
in the next tutorial.
13. Using colour theme tool in Indesign: Hello everyone, and
welcome you all to another chapter of Adobe
Indesign tutorial. Here now we are on our
chapter number 11, and we'll be learning
about how you can use your color theme
tool in Indesign. Okay? Basically,
color theme tool actually detects the
number of color present in a particular image and give you color palette
accordingly which you can add to your swatches
and also add to your CC library in your system. Okay? That you can use those colors or those
color bands afterwards in your work or in your
project while you're editing or just
adjusting the colors. Let's not waste time and
let's get started with this color theme tool here, again, on my workspace, or just an empty page here. Okay, What I'll be doing
is in this empty page, I'll be selecting some
of the images, okay? As I do have this
image from here, okay, or this one, I'll just simply
drag and drop here. As you can see, once
I drag and drop, I do have this
image on my cursor. I'll make a here. As you can see, as I do have
this particular box here. Now what I can do is I can detect what all colors
do I have here. Okay? Take this one from here. Now, click on this. Okay. Here you can see these
are the color swatches. Okay? This will
give me swatches. It have categorized
itself as colorful, bright, dark, deep, muted. Okay, I do have all of this. Let me take another
image from here. Okay, let me suppose
this image from here. Okay, Here, take this image. I will just keep this image till this color to
this option again. Now here you can see you have this color
swatch here, okay? Now this one is different. This is how it will
actually change. And you can take
particular colors as well. From here, you can click on this end and actually
select the colors. If I take another image, suppose I take this image. And if I just download
or just import here, if I click on this here, you can see the color swatches
have changed accordingly. Okay, here I do have colorful, bright, dark, deep and muted. Suppose I like this color. Now what I can do is I can add
this theme to my swatches. Okay, let's first see this one. This option here. Okay? I have add this particular
color to my swatch. Now, if I want to select any
particular color from here, suppose this one or more than one color, I can do those as well. Okay? If I press control shift or just take
two colors from here, I can do that as well. Now, if this one or if I
come to my color swatches, I will be able to see that I do have a different set
of colors here, Okay? Now, if I come to
this fill option, under the fill option, if I go to this one and here, you can see I do have all
these colors here, okay? I can choose these
particular colors in any of my work here. So I can do that as well. Okay? Now, let's see
about this option. If I want to add this
to my CC libraries, okay, You can see if I
want to add this one. This one is being added twice. I will delete one. This is how we can
actually delete here. I do have a color, okay? This is one color
palette which we can choose and work accordingly. Okay, If I come to
this one again, suppose I'll take this one. This is the color
palette from here. If I take the muted one, and if I want to import
it to the swatches, go to the properties. Now select any image. Suppose if I just select
any image from here, and now go to the fill option. Under the fill option, I
do have the muted theme. Okay, so here you can
see all these colors because as this is not a
photo editing software, this is just basically bookmaking or document
type software by Adobe. Here actually, they do
have the basic of editing your coloring and
also the images. Okay. Here. As you guys can see, the quality of the image
in this page is not good, but we don't have to worry
about the final product as the final PDF or the book
will be in good quality. This is just a preview
which we're looking in our window or on our screen. You don't have to
worry about that. I hope you guys have understood the usefulness of
color theme tool. Like while we're working
with similar color things, it's better that first we take all the colors which I have
in that panel later on, try to adjust it or just
readjust the coloring the same coloring once I do or pick those color
using the color theme tool. Okay, so hope you guys have understood everything
about this tutorial. Take care. Goodbye everyone. See you all in the
next class where we'll be learning how you can create your own design
of a book cover. I'll be showing
you guys that you also guys do have the
class project as well. Take care and goodbye.
14. Creating a Book cover: Hello everyone, and
welcome you all to the last chapter of Adobe
Indesign Tutorial Here. In this last class I'll
be telling you guys about how you can create
our own book cover, okay, Like how you can
import a particular image. Then put those text frames, put up the logo, put up a QR code bar. And also set up a brief summary where you'll be using the character
style as well. Okay, so let's learn how
to make a book cover. So let's get started with this particular
tutorial here again, now I'm back at the workspace
for creating a book cover. First I need to select project
or a new document here. Okay, how I want
my new document. Let's try to see the
preview from here. Okay, I'll on the preview. As I do have this, what I will do is I'll
have two columns. Okay, so as you can
see, two columns. But what I'll do is I'll increase the column
gutter in between. Okay. So from here I have
increased the column. Gutter is also fine. I'll also increase the blid. Okay, I increase
the blid as well. And the margin, maybe I
will decrease the margin. Okay, And now this is okay. And I can start
creating my page here. Okay. So now as you can see, I am in my workspace, and here I do have
this particular page, Okay, this is going to
be the spine of my book. Here I'll be writing
the title of the book, the author name. Here I'll be writing the
author name or the title. Here. I will have
a small summary. I'll have the acknowledgment, the bar code, and
so many things. We'll see about all that. The first thing which we
need to do for that is select an image or just
upload an image from here. The simplest way is to dragon
drop, as we already know. Okay, for that, what I'm going to choose is
I'll take this image, drag and drop this one, this. Now I will select
this image here. Okay, let me take
this image from here. As you can see, okay, I will decrease the
size a little bit. And Music Control shift. I will decrease, if I want
to decrease the size, I can decrease it from here, but it won't be proportional. Okay? But it doesn't
look that bad as well. Okay, Basically we can
start working here. This is going to be the
book cover for my book. This is how I can import
the image at first. Okay, let me just zoom in here. Okay, this is the place
where I'll be working first. Okay, take my text box and I
will create a text box here. Here. I do have my text box. I will write down a text. Okay. So what can be
the title of my book? Okay. So it will be the last summer? Right. Okay. So I have just chosen a random topic
here and now basically I can increase the
size of this one. Yes, this is correct. Now what I want to
do is I want to bring this on it in the center. Okay. So for that I'll do this and I can also
change the color, maybe let me take
a different color. From here, I can choose a
different set of colors. If I take a red one, I need to see how it
actually looks. Not bad. And with my selection tool, I can just decrease the swan. Now, the title of my book
is The Last Summer, right? Okay. Not a bad
title, I do believe. Okay, now I'll be adding a short subtitle for
this particular book. For that, again,
I'll come here and I will create a small box here. Okay, maybe I'll write for this. I'll put here Freedom, Exploration, Exploration
and nostalgia. Nostalgia. Okay, so this is just going
to be my subtopic, okay? I will also increase
the size, maybe less. I will keep this one in
between my quotations. Okay? I'll keep this one here. Select this and keep
this in the center. Okay? And now with
my selection tool, I will just take this one now. I will change the
F size from here. Okay? I'll take
this Algerian also. I will change the color. Okay, Let me take a color. This is my topic and this one
is going to be my subtopic. Okay? Now, here I will be explaining or I'll be
telling the writer name. Okay? For that I will have
to create another box. For that, I will make
another box here. With this, I can actually
change this one. Come to the text option
here and I can just do written by Bob Adams. Okay. So I can just write this and now I can also increase the size of the phone from here. Okay? So as I do have this one, I'll select this so I can take my box anywhere. Okay. Now I'll select this down, keep this in the center. And after that, what I'll do is I can also change the color. Or the main thing is that
I need to change the font. Okay, I'll select this. Maybe a different color. Okay? Maybe something lighter. Click on. Okay. Yes, I
do have this one here. I can also change
its positioning. Suppose if I want to
put this in here here, I can put that, but
this color doesn't go that nicely with this text. Okay, so maybe I'll
choose something in dark. Maybe a dark blue will be fine. Okay. Yeah, this looks good. Okay. Now, my first page or the front page
for my book is done. As you guys can see, I'm just trying to
take this or just a, just the positioning
of all this. Okay. So done with
the first page here, and now I'll move here. Okay? So what I want to do is I
want to copy this one here, and I want to paste it here. Okay, I can take down here. Okay, the same thing. Now what I'll be doing is
I'll take another text box here and I will keep my
acknowledgment, okay? Or the summary here. I will put acknowledgment. I won't be putting
anything by my own. I'll just put the
placeholder text. Maybe I'll give a color
to this placeholder text. From here I will come and maybe I'll choose something in green. I'll click this one here. I do have this one in green. I have selected
this one from here. The green color doesn't
look that great. Black will be fine, I guess. Okay, I have chosen the
black one from here. I will keep this one
in the middle here. I will put quotation mark
at the end of this one. Also, I'll put up
a quotation mark. Okay, If I click on Enter. If I select this one, if I select this image here, come to this text option if
I want to mention someone. Okay, Suppose I do my cursor. Now I'll click on Enter. Now what I'll be doing is
I want to type a name. Okay? Raymond, Raymond Arthur. Okay. I want to highlight
this particular name. Now what I can do is I
can select this one. I can actually increase the name and also give up a different
color for this one. Okay? Maybe this
color will be fine. Okay. I can take a dark blue or change the color. I didn't like this one much. Let me check what all
colors I do have. I can take this or it will just I'll take this only. Okay. I do have this one in red. Now, I do have the
acknowledgement page as well. Okay. This part is done here. You guys can actually write
or take a text frame here. You guys can write published by X, Y said publication. Select this up different color. You can select a frame
as well from here. Okay, so this is done. No. One last thing, I want
to import a QR code. Okay, I had downloaded
a QR code from here, so I can just drag
this one here. I need to decrease
the size of the QR. Okay, I have just put
that in the background, so I need to do that first. Come here, decrease the
size. Just go back. Yes, from here
again, I'll start. Okay, I do have this image. I want to bring this as I'm having a problem, like the whole image
is coming here. Okay, There is another
way of putting the image. Come here on the file
option, go to place, which is control
plus D. After that, select this one, open and here. Now you can see it's
on your cursor. Now make a box from here and here you have
your Q R as well. Okay? And you can position it according to
the way you want. Now, the same way
I will place logo, now I do have this. Now I want to put up a
logo which I downloaded. Where did I keep that logo here? I do have a squid game logo, but I'm not able
to find that one. Okay. I do have this
here open or here. I do have it on my screen. I can just take this
logo from here. I can put this here. Okay. This is how
we can actually create our own book cover. I hope this class
was helpful and now you guys can make
your own book cover. If you keep on trying or
keep on doing it regularly, you guys will become a
pro and you guys will have a great understanding
about designing as well. Till then, take care everyone
and hope this tutorial, the whole thing, was
helpful for you all. You guys have got
to understand and got to know about
Adobe Indesign. I'll be waiting for you guys to send me all of
your project work. I have gave you guys two
class project, okay? So I hope you guys submit
those in our project panel. Till then, take care everyone, and keep on practicing
Adobe Indesign. Okay, bye bye.
15. Class Project 1: Make a magazine page: Hello guys, now this is the
time for class project. Now we'll be doing the
first class project here. Okay, Here you'll be making a magazine page
using the Textrap option. Okay? I'll be showing
you guys a few of the description
about what it is. Basically also you can see the steps, what
you'll be following. And I'll also show you
the demo after this. Okay, let's go and see what
all steps will follow. First, here you need to
create a new file, okay. Take your particular
size or page, and after that you create a text box and fill
it with text, okay? After that you can
place an image in the workspace and fit
it proportionally. Okay? Afterwards, just if you
click right on your mouse, you'll have a drop off menu. From there you choose
the orange option and there will be another
option as sent backward. Okay? So you guys can select that one and
go to that page. After that, you guys select the particular text wrap
option which will suit the page like there are
four Tetrap options here. So you guys can check any of
that which suits your page. And after that, save
the file and upload it. In our project panel here, you guys can see what
will be the outcome. So you guys can refer this
as well for yourself. If you just want a
description about this page or what you're doing, basically, you'll get a
description out here. Okay, Now let's go to design page and see how you
guys will be doing that. Now as you can see, I'm here in this page. Now what I'll be doing
is I'll place an image. Okay? Come to the file
option, come to place. I will choose this one. I will click on Open. I do have this image here. Okay. Before this, I will, just before that, I will
select the text box first. Okay? So let me select
this text box here. And I will fill it
with placeholder text. Okay, I'll click on
this option here. You can see this is just
filled with placeholder text. Right after that, I will
try creating two columns. Okay, so from here I'll come
and I will select this box. From here will hank
this frame options. Okay, now I do have two columns. Okay. I can also check the column gutter and I'll
click on okay, from here. Now I do have a textbox here. Now what I'm going to do
is I'll take an image. Suppose I will come here again
and I will take an image. Now from here, let me this image
and open this here. If I just zoom out, I can just click from here and I can fit this one
according to the frame. Okay? Now again, I'll come here. Now what I'll do is
I'll click here. From here, I do have
another option called here. You guys can see I do have
this text page as well. This image is behind the text. Okay? Now I will be
applying any type of logos. Okay? So basically
I can just come here and from here I can choose like where
all I want to wrap. Okay, So I'll select
this, this one. Now I can do all this from here, I can select the subject. Here, you guys can see
selected the subject. Now beside this main object, he don't have any
other writings. Okay. There is no letter or words behind particular object. Okay. I hope you guys have understood how to make
your own magazine pace. So you guys can send
more than one as well. I'll be happy to receive that
and check those out here. I hope you guys have understood. Please send your project and drop those in
our project panel. Okay, I'll be waiting
for your project. Take care everyone and see
you all in the next tutorial.
16. Class Project 2: Design book cover: Hello everyone. Now this is the time for
class project two. Here you'll be doing like you'll be designing
your own book cover. Okay. I'll tell you guys
a few of the steps, what all you guys can
follow, and after that, make your own book cover
or design it accordingly. I do have the resource
file as well. If you just want to see those, then you guys can take those
resource files as well. Okay, now let's see
what are the steps that you need to follow
during this class project. Here, See under what
students have to do. Page here, you can see the
name of the class project. After that, I have given a description of what
you guys will be doing. I also categorized into steps. Okay? The first step will
be you'll be creating a new file using appropriate
size or presets, as you do have many
presets in design. While creating file, you
guys can choose from that or you can
custom your own size. After that, you will be
importing the image to the workspace and you should
fit the image accordingly. Fill the textboxes accordingly, like how many textboxes
you want to take. Are you making it for a
book? Do that as well. If you guys do have any
logos or any barcode, you guys can put those as well. After that, you guys save that file and upload it
to our project panel. Okay, After this, you can also come here and recommend
this outcome for yourself. You can just read this
one and understand that, is your output similar or are you doing a pleasant
work for yourself? Okay, you guys will be learning
that here in this class. Now, I'll be showing
you guys by going to our design application
of how to do that here. As you guys can see, I do have this
particular page here, okay, Which I've created. I have given the particular
margin size, the blade here. This is called the spine. Okay? This will be for our regular textbook
I'll be making. Now what I'll be doing is I'll come here in
the file option, I'll pick an image
according to my liking. From here I can select image. Okay, let me take this
image. I'll open this. And now I do have this
one here on my person. I'll just this box here. I do have the whole image here. Now I can basically select this. Okay. If I just want to bring
this down, I can do that. Okay? And the same way here, if I just want to
decrease increase, I can increase
that as well here. This is how you
guys will be making or importing your image
and fixing this one. Okay, let me do it properly. Now, I do have this image. Okay, here for my title. I'll come here in
the text box here, I will create a text box. Whatever I write,
I will be writing it in white that it
will be quite visible. Okay, So my title
of the book will be that Friday evening, Friday. Now I'll be selecting my
particular text from here. Under this, I will have options where I can
change the colors. Okay, From here I have
selected the text from here, I do have the field option. I'll select white color. Now, I'll try to increase
the size control shift. I'll keep this one
something like this. I'll just decrease this a bit. Yeah, this one is fine. Now, I can actually bring
this in the center. Okay, Now this is in the center. And here you can see maybe to increase or select
something bold. Okay, this one I
will select here. I can actually see now. Okay, this is one
way after that. Again, come here, create
another text box. You will follow this process. Basically, I'll be
creating few of the boxes, just stay with me
with the same process here as you can see
Here I have a copy, this one also here I have this particular box like I have selected placeholder text. After that, I just put color in this author name that
it will be highlighted. Like with the color
corrector option. Okay, now I'll be putting
some barcode here. Okay, So I do have
this barcode and I want to import this
maybe here, okay? This total space here, I'll be putting my barcode and here I'll be
keeping it like this. Okay? Now I do have this one. Now here I will create
another text box. And from here I will write the joy together. I'll select this one, and I'll change the
color to white. And I'll increase
the size from here. Okay, so I will
increase the size. Now I do have this. Select this again from here. And decrease the size of this. Now here you can take
another text frame. From here, write
the author's name. Okay, so you can right here, written by, look Benjamin. Now I will select this one here. I can change the color. I'll take maybe a
white color here. I will also take strokes. Okay, I will increase
the weight of my stroke. I will also increase
the size here. Now I'll just fit
it in the center. Okay, now I do have this one
now actually I can change the size or the selection to select this one. And I'll come here the size
and move it down accordingly. This is how you can
make one for yourself. And I will come here again. Okay, I'll take different
copy of this here. And now I want to scale this up. Okay, here, select
this particular text. I'll cut this one here on top. Now here I will just increase
or decrease the size. As you can see, I have
brought it in the same place. Now with this selection tool, I will decrease the
line size from here. Now what I can do is I'll
select this tool from here. And now I will use
the rotation two. Okay? Using the rotation to
now I can rotate this thing. I can just bring this
selection two again here. And bring this here
in the center. Okay? Now, from here also, you can select from
here the rotation two. You can just rotate and see
how it actually looks good. Okay, I will the size, maybe I'll bring
it in the middle. This is how you
can actually work here in this particular
application. Okay? See I have made a
book cover here. Okay? If I want, I will
select this text here. Okay? From here I'll select all. And I'll also change
the fill color. Okay? If I take this
fill stroke color, I will add one stroke. I will take this in black color. Okay, this is how it
will actually look. Okay, now it looks better here, you guys, if you want to
see the preview from here, you guys can see the
preview as well. It might look that this
is a low quality image, but don't worry, it is
designed in this way only. Okay, but when we get
the final product, we'll be able to get a high quality image with
a high quality of writing. Okay. I'll be waiting for your project to be
submitted in our project panel. I'll just get back to you
guys with my reviews. Okay, take care of
everyone and hope to see you all in
the next tutorial.
