2. Introduction: Hello, and welcome to our first session for
needing tutorials. And I'm going to introduce
you with the tools. We have some needles and some crochet hooks that we can have different types
of meetings with them. All of these equipments
and tools have their own sizes which are
used for different meetings, for different yarns, which we should choose
compatible to our needles. These are two
needles for needing. These are crochet hooks and
they are used for crochet. This is five male
for needing socks or gloves that we don't
want any semen them. And this is a rounded
sir coloring needle which is for our meetings
without any scene. And it has a cable
around it that has different sizes from
40 centimeters on to
3. 1. How to cast on a sarafan dress and knit a collar: Hello everyone and welcome. Today we are going
to teach you how to create a new kind
of knitting stitch. We're going to create
an overall together and we're going to
start it with the neck. So for starters, we need the measurements for
around the neck, or basically we need the
measurements for your color. And that measurement
depends totally on you. You can have an open call or
you can have a tight one, or you can even bring it
up onto your shoulders. So that totally depends on
your own personal taste. Now, after measuring
around the neck, you have to create a sample
meeting with your needle, circular needle and your yarn. After that, you can measure
it with your meter and then you can get an exact
number of stitches. Today we want to see
that for doing in eating how many stitches we should cast them for the
beginning of our work. First, you should
create your meetings in a various smaller
model for yourself. For example, I've created 15 stitches with this yarn and specific and precise needle. And you should just
do it yourself, because if you want to do
the rest of it yourself, the sizes that you measure
would be the same. So I've casted on 15 stitches and I've needed
for three centimeters. Now for measuring that. You see, I do not, uh, stretch it or I would
not tighten it. I just place it normally
on my knitting. You see, it's very normal
that I place my meter over here from the first
stitch and then I just measure it about two
or three centimeters. For example, here you see three centimeters or
six stitches for me. Therefore, I should just make a note out of it
and write it down. I would say six stitches
are three centimeters. Now, how many stitches I need in order to
have, for example, a scarf with the width
of 20 centimeters. For instance. If you make a proportion, we say six should be
multiplied by 20. And then I divide them. And three, I do the equation and I would have the
number of my stitches. Okay. I did it. And now I see that I would have 40 is stitches for my work. So for example, for creating
a very simple scarf, I should cast on stitches
with this yarn and with this needle in order to get
my 20 centimeters width. But remember, what ever kind of neat thing
that you want to do first, you should do a
smaller model of it, and then you should move on
to the work that you want. Here. We have done a stuck in it. But if you want to do seed
stitch knitting or garter stitch knitting or ribose each new thing or any
other kinds of neat thing. First, you should need a small sample of that
kind of stitch knitting. And then you should count how many stitches do
you need to cast on? Okay, For the color
of my Serfin, I have made a sample of five centimeters of
garter stitch knitting. I've got the number of stitches
that I need to cast on. Now, I'm going to start
casting on this stitches. So that's what I'm doing here. And then after that we
can start knitting. Right now I'm just
casting on my stitches. After casting on the stitches, I'd be is starting to meet my work and I will
meet all of them. I want to do garter stitch knitting as the width of
almost one centimeter. And I'm just eating
all of my stitches. On both ways. I mean, for going in for returns for the front of
your work and for the back. Okay. I've waited until
the end of my row, then I will turn my work. And then again, I will
meet all of my stitches. I want to have garter stitch knitting as the width of
almost one centimeter. I'll continued until I get
the width one centimeter. Alright? So as you can see, I've continued that until
I get this one centimeter. Because I want to
do the rest of that with a simple orbiter, say stuck in it, stitches. I just wanted to
have one centimeter. If you wanted, you can actually increase or decrease this area. Now in nexus that
because I don't want my tip and the edges of my knee to be curled
or turned are twisted. I'm basically going to use garter stitch meetings
on the edges, about four or five on each end. And then I'll continue to do this stuck in it for
the rest of my work. If it's the back of my work, I will parallel of them until I get to the last
five is stitches. So again, I say, I pearl this row. I put all of this row except the beginning five and
the last five stitches, which are going to
be garter stitch is completely they would
be all being negated. So if it's the
back of your work, you'll be pulling all of them. And when it's the
front of your work, you will meet all
of your stitches. As you can see, I'm done
with the back of my work until these last
five is stitches. And as I told you, we're supposed to do
garter stitch and eating for these ending five. Then I turn my work around. Now you see, that will be the back of my
work that I would Perl all of my stitches except a beginning and the ending five. And now that I've
turned my work, this is the front of
my work and I'll be meeting all the
way until the end. So if I'm eating all the
stitches into middle of my work, it means that it is
the front of my work. I'll continue this knitting
as I'm doing right now. Now. Again, the width of your Kohler
is on your taste totally. You can have a wide cooler or you can have a narrow
one that depends on you. You should nice and
Pearl until you get the width that you want
for your color area. When it's done, you can
finish your work there. So I'll do that and
I'll come back.
4. 2. How to divide the back and front of dress: Okay. As you can see, I've got the width
that I wanted. Again, I tell you you can do it as much as you want for
decommissioning of my work. You'll see I've got a five Garter stitches in the beginning and
at the end of my work, that would be actually the
closing space of our color. Now after that, again, we want to have
garter stitch Ni Ting for about another centimeter. So it doesn't matter either it's in front of your work or
the back of your work. I'd been eating all of my
stitches know per link. So I'll continue this until I'll finish this garter stitch
knitting up to one centimeter. Okay. As you can see, I've continued it until
it got one centimeter. Be careful. This is actually
in front of my work. This is the front of my color, and that will be the
end of the color. Now, you see when the cola would be
placed like this, if you consider
donating below it, you see this should be
the front of the work. So back of my Nicola hours ending would be the front
of the rest of my work. Now we want to see how we
can divide these areas in order to have slaves
and other stuff. If you consider the round
of the neck like this, you can also create
it on the paper, just like I did. You say this would be these
two would be our sleeves. And as you can see, I've created four lines in
order to divide them. Now. I have two stitches for the regular line or
the dividing line. For these division lines. I've placed two stitches
with truth BH overall. My stitches are 64. You should do this division
with your own stitches. So the number of my
stitches are 64 and then I minus it from eight of my division lines,
that would be 56. Now, I put it aside. Now, you see, I
told you all around the neck we would have
for division lines, but because I want my stitches to be
spreaded out equally, I've also divided the front and the back of my
dress into two parts. So we have six parts overall. Therefore, I would
actually divide all of the number of my
stitches by six, and then that would be nine
stitches on each part. On each part, I should
have nine stitches. So what about these two? I should actually spreading into other parts,
which it's better. Our preference is to spread them one in the bag and
one in the front. But the stitches on the front part of the
dress should be even. Therefore, we can have equal is stitches on the left
and the right side. But now the number of
stitches on the front part of my dress would be
19, which is odd. Therefore, if I want to add
one stitch to each side, front and back, it doesn't
actually make sense for me. So I would place both
of them in the bag. So I would have 20 at the bag. And a teen in front.
5. 3. Dividing the back and front of the dress with a marker: Okay, Now we're going
to do our divisions. And then with the
use of a marker, I'm going to determine
each part of my stitches. As we've calculated
for the stitches. You can see we need nine stitches in the
beginning of our work. So I'll count. And then I get to nine. I separate this area and I
place a marker over here. After nine stitches, I have two stitches for
the regular line or the dividing line which
I separate and I put a marker on it after
my regulon lines. Then I get to this
leaf part which I have nine stitches there. Again, I have to
rake lawn lines. After these two lines, I'll place a marker and I'll do the same until the
end of my knitting. And just, I would remember that in the back of my clothes I would have a two extra
stitches aside from the nine. Okay. I've placed all of my
markers and as you can see, all all of my
divisions are done. So I've determined
that this area would be the front
part of my work. And as I said, this garter stitch
knitting would be continued until we will
actually close this front. Seem off the color. Because this is the
front part of my work. I will need all of my stitches until I get to the marker and then I can add some
more stitches. I would actually apply
these markers in order to determine my two
regulon lines always, so I would not move it. Then I got to my marker. I will add a stitch
just like that. Or in other words, I will increase another stitch. Then I'll transfer or move the marker to this other needle. And then I can meet this stitch which is related to
the regular line. Then I get out my marker and I will add another
stitch over here. Again. I will need until
the next marker. This is the first row data. I'm actually adding
the stitches. I am increasing a stitches here. Again, I will get to my
marker and I will increase another stitch. Just like that. Then this stitch for
the regular line. Then again increasing
another stitch. And I am still meeting because this is a steel
the front part of my work. So I'll just continue that until I get to the
end of my row. Okay? This is the end of my row. I have negated my
regular phone lines. I got my marker and
then after debt, I increase another stitch
and I'll continue eating. And as I told you before, I will make sure that the five
stitches in the beginning and the end of my work will be always garter stitch and eating. So I turned my work
over, but again, because this is the
first five is stitches, I'd be doing garter
stitch knitting. Then after dad, I should
Pearl the risks of this, that just because this
is the back of my work. You see here I get to the
stitch that I've increased. I'm going to Perl
this one as well. And when I'm in the
back of my work, I would not increase
any stitches. I would only Perlis stitches
that I already have. So I will get my marker
to the right side. And you see this is
my added a stitch. This is my increased
stitch and doesn't matter. I would prefer lit as well
as the rest of the work. Again, I've go to the
increased stitch. It's pretty obvious. And because it's the
back of my work, I'm paralleling all
of the switches here. Here we go. Alright.
I'll continue this purlin until I get
to the end of my row. And then I get to the last five stitches which
I should do garter stitch and eating. Then I turn.
6. 4. Continue knitting the dress collar: Alright, now I'm in
front of my work. First, I will get the first
five stitches and then again, like the first row, I will increasing my stitches. So basically in the front part, in the going row, I will increase one stitch to each part and then
into returning row, which is, which would
be the back of my work. I would not increase
any stitches. I should just pull
it a little so it would stick to it's
previous stitch. And therefore there wouldn't be any extra holes or any extra
space in-between them. Again, after my two
rag long lines, I will add an increase, another stitch and then
I continue eating. Again. I say because it's
in front of my work, I will need my stitches. You see, this part
of my work has seen and I will continue this process and this procedure until it will get thick enough that it
goes through the head. When you want to wear it. After that, you can start
knitting in the round. Okay, So in the beginning
and the end of arrows, we would be doing
garter stitch meetings. And in the middle, if it's the front
part of your work, you should need to stitches. And if it's the back, you would pearl this stitches. And I would also pay
attention that in my going row in
front of my work, I will increase a
stitch to each part. So that's the whole thing. Then I would be
meeting in the round.
7. 5. Start knitting the top part of the dress-. Where and how to increase stitches to reach the desire: Okay, I got to the
measurements that I wanted. And now I want to close this
seam in front of my work. This is the front of my work and this is the end of my work. I would turn my work
anymore. This time. I want to start and
eating in the round. When I go to this point, I will not turn my
work back over again. I will start knitting this area. So this is actually the point. And after this, I do not have
any garter stitch meetings. So basically in
knitting in the round, all of my stitches would be
neat it in the front rows. I would not have
any returning rows. I should have European
style is stitches. I should actually need
them in European style. Because I don't have
any returning row. I should pay attention
that you see. For example, this is this fish which I've
increased my previous row. So over here, I will
need this stitch. I would not increase
anymore stitches. So you see, if I get this
stitch like this and neat it, that would be knitting this stitches in
the European style. So previously I would have perl, the increased stitches,
but because I do not have any
returning row here, I would have to need
all of my searches. I continue this until I get as much as I want for my
shoulder of the sleeve. Alright, so what was the
point of our whole work? The hint was that in
our previous row, I actually had
increased stitches, but this time because I don't
have any returning row, I would still be meeting
my increased the stitches. So I'll continue
this until I get to neuro De Niro would be here. The connection of our siem would be the start
of our new rule. Again here, it's time for me
to increase the stitches. So I'll just continue
the same process until I get the width that
I want from my shoulders. I mean that when you
wear these clothes, you would have the shoulder area until the part that you want. You see my two stitches are completely clear over
here that they've gone up straight and then right next to them are, are increased. The stitches. See.
These two stitches are straight down and
they're clear actually. Then exactly next to them, I will increase
another stitch the same way, the same process. So this would be my clothes, Kohler and this would be
the width of our shoulder. So I'll continue until I get the width and the size
for my shoulder area.
8. 6. Casting off the sleeve: Alright, now I got the
width and a size that I wanted for my shoulder
and my sleeve area. Alright. Now this was the
last row that I've increased the stitches
out. I've knitted them. Okay, now I want to cast off my sleeve with the
difference that I should also increase this
stitches as much as I wanted for around the
breast and around the back. I do not care for
sleep right now. I've cast it off the other
slave you see over here. And now I'm on this site. Over here in this leaf area. I do not increase
any stitches and I would start casting
off. You see? I will cover my first
stitch with my second one. I will need one stitch and then I will cover it with
its previous stitch. And I'll continue this until the last stage of
this leaf area. It would be definitely
easier with a crochet hook. So you could also do
it with that as well. Now I'm going to
show you how you can cast off your
stitches with a crochet. See I get the next stitch. I drag it from. Or better say I drag it
through my previous stitch. And then I put these
two regulon lines for the front of my work. I got to these two stitches which are related
to my Reagan lines. This is the last stitch for my sleeve and I've
casted it off as well. See, now I've finished my
sleeves, the stitches. Then again, I would be starting meeting after my two stitches which are related to
direct long lines, I will increase another
stitch and then again, I would just start meeting. Now after that, I'm
finished with this leaf. I will check this area to see if the measurements are okay
for around the breast. And it says, okay, I would not need to
increase anymore stitches. I've checked it and it
is the size that I want, so I would not be adding
any more stitches. Well, you can continue
this stuck in it, stitches onto your
waist area because after Dad we're going to
start knitting skirt. So this would be
actually your armpit. Then from five
centimeters, more. If it is more than that, you can start
knitting your skirt. That depends on you. So I will continue knitting until the length that
I want to start. My skirt. I mean, some people would like to start a meeting does scared after two centimeters
under the armpit area. But I want to make it more. These measurements that I'm telling you, five centimeters, ten centimeters are completely optional and dad totally depends on you and
your own taste. For example, if you are
eating for a child, it would be better if you
start in eating too scared after two or three
centimeters below the armpit, I continue this until I
get the size that I want.
9. 7. Start knitting the sarafan skirt: Okay, I've got the
length that I've wanted. And I got over here, you see here would
be the beginning of my row that I want to
start and eating my skirt. Pay attention over
here in this row. One stitch after another, I be increasing in usage. Over here again, you
see, as you can see, I am meeting one stitch, then I'll be increasing
one stitch after that. Until I get to this area. Again. I'll continue the
same way I need one stitch. Then I increase another one, increase another search
right after that. So I'll continue this until I increase all of
these stitches. And I get to the first
part, my beginning point. I started increasing stitches. Alright, Here we go. So over here, I've increased one stitch
after knitting one. And from now on I
will have stuck in net stitching for one row until I get to the
beginning of my work. If you think you will lose this first stitch or the
beginning of your row, you can use a marker for that. I'm doing is stuck
in it over here. Until I get back to this point.
10. 8. Learning how to rib stitch knit a skirt: Alright, here we go. I've done all of my stitches, I've needed them and I
got over here now we want to create our skirt with
RIP stitching nicotine. So first, we should
count our stitches. And if it was not as
a multiplier of ten, we should again start
increasing the stitches until it would be as much as they would be spreaded
all the way equally. For example, I be, I am actually five
stitches short until my stitches would
be a multiply of ten. So what should I do here? I should divide my
stitches by five. For example, it will be 60. So for each 60, I would have to add one stitch. I would have to increase
one stitch to my work. Then after dad, I'd
be purlin two of my stitches and
knitting eight of them in order to have my
ribose stitches meeting. Just like that. You see I am eating
eight stitches and then I'll be per
link, two of them. Again, eight meetings
to PR links. I'll continue this
until I get to the beginning of
my row over here. Okay. Now I go to the stitches
that I've pearl before. You see the next purlins on the next row would
be Perl like this. I'll continue the
same way until I get to the length that
I want from my skirt. Okay. So I've continued up to some part of my knitting
and as you can see, I've shaped my skirt is actually a wide ribose such that it would have different
parts looking like that. So we'll continue the same way. As I said before, there would be eight meeting all the stitches and
two per link, citrus. And the length and width of your scared totally
depends on you. Again, I emphasize that
you can make it shorter or longer or even tighter, looser. That's totally your call. Just like this. Here we go. That's it. That then it will get a same. It will be actually a straight and it would be
smooth and beautiful.
11. 9. Casting off the bottom of the skirt: Okay, My dear friends, I've got the length that
I wanted for my skirt. Now it's time for
casting off my stitches. I'm going to use a crochet
hook to do it very easily. See I get the first stitch because the next
one is in Eating. See, I wrap around my
yarn around crochet hook, then I will need to next
stitch and then I will cover does increase the suit with the next stitch and then cover it with the
previous one again, the next usage, which
is actually an eating. Therefore, I get the yarn
around my crochet hook. I need the next stitch and
then you see I cover and then I will make it two of them into one with
its previous stitch. I'm basically covering them. Now. I get to stitch, which is a pearl. This time I get the yard like that in front
of my crochet hook, on my crochet hook. And then I pearl,
this is stitch. Until the end of my work, I just follow this process
and continue this. The next stitch is an eating, so I would be casting
it off like that. So continue until the end of the row and cast of
all your stitches. Therefore, we would
actually have a beautiful simple
crocheting knitting. So that will make our
work look more clean.
12. 10. Decorating the bottom of the skirt with crocheting: Alright, now I've
cast it off all these stitches all around
the bottom part of my scared and I got here. Be careful that you should
just start casting off in the middle of your
eighth stitches. Therefore, when
you get over here, it would be precise
and determined. After I've casted
off the last stitch, I will actually make a bracket and then I'll
make chain stitches. Well, I'll actually wrap the yarn around my
crochet hook twice. And then from there I
would just start knitting. So I will need ten of them
in one place like that. I'll need ten. Okay. And as you can see, these are the four
chain stitches of my work and they would
be one double crochet. And then I will need nine
more right next to them. I will not care for the
rest of the citrus. And then I'll get to these
ones too, these two citrus. And I will create
two single crochets. Again, you see four, and this is the fifth one. Between my fourth,
fifth stitches, I will create my
second double crochet. Again. I'd been eating ten
of them over here. Okay. Here we go. This is the last double crochet. I'll pass these crochets. Then again, I get to these two stitches
which I've pearls. And then I create
two single crochets. And just like that, I move all around my work and I will be doing
crochet, meeting. Again between these two, I'll create my single crochets. I'll do it all around the work so you can see the results. Until I get to this area.
13. 11. Decoration around the armhole with crocheting: Alright. So again, these would be the last two single
crochets of my work. You see these four chains stitches that were in the
beginning of my work, I'll get a bracket in it. Third chain stitch, like this. Here we go. And that's it. Okay? Create a chain stitch over here, then I will cut my work. And here this would be
the end of my skirt. So just as simple as that, it would be beautiful at
the bottom of the skirt. Now I want to create a specific
design around my sleeves. Now, see from below
this leaves over here, I will get my yarn. I'll get my yarn
through. Basically. I will make a knot. So it would be tight and
yarn would not dress, get out of my crochet,
make it through. I'll create three
chains stitches. In the first chain is Cij, Xij, see, I'll get to line
two yarns, sorry. Then I create a single crochet. Then see I leave to chain as stitches after
the one that I've created. I've created the three
chains stitches. Then I get my crochet hook
through the third one, and I create another
single crochet. Again, I create three
changes such as you see, where I'm going to get
these two yarns over here. It's exactly on to single crochet that I've made
on the basis of my work. You see again, I
skip two stitches. I skipped two chain is stitches, and then I'll make
my crochet hook go through the third
China's stitched and again, one single crochet and
three chain is stitches. I get two yarns from my
first single crochet, which is the basis of my work, and I get it out. So I skip two and I make chain of stitches
on the third one. I just continue the work
this way so I can give a design around my
sleeves like this. Okay, this is the
end of my work, as you can see. Then over here, just at the
bottom part of arm hole. I'll just make another one. And then I will
connect to end up my work to the
beginning of my work, which I've created
three chains stitches. I'll create a bracket
over here with one chain stitch and
I'll finish my work. You should definitely hide
the extra yarns in your work. You can also, for example, create a string or a
ribbon around your work. Or you can also use your own yarn to create
something like that.
14. 12. Knitting string for around sarafan dress waist: Creating a ribbon or a
string on your work, I am using two different colors of yarn so you can
see how it's done, but you can use a
yarn that you're using for the rest
of your clothes. So one color would
be actually on my crochet hook and the other color would just
get through all of these. Just like that. You can create this ribbon is a string or whatever
you call it, as long as you want
and you can use it in your meeting or
your clothes, you see. You can just make it
through each part and make your work even more
beautiful and prettier. Then you can see this
would be the shape of your coal are this
would be its model. You should fix it. Then if you assume it, once, you'll have
your work complete.
