an understanding of SEO. What are the things that
are required for it? What should we focus on? And I'm going to give you an understanding about
setting up your blog because a lot of people tend to neglect this part, this part. And it is not good
for any site success. And making our blog secure. Google will not allow
any insecticides to take part in its
search engine results. Learning about site
speed, understand this. People are not going to
wait until your site loads. You have to make sure
your site loads by the time people
get tired of you, it takes about less
than three seconds for anybody to shift from your
side to somebody else. Building an optimal
homepage design. Because Google and
users care about your design and you have to make sure that your
design is optimal. Introduction to
keyword research, this is where the core
part of our course starts. I'm going to give you an understanding about
keyword research, why it is important,
how it is done, and how should you focus on it. And then we're going to
find our competitors. Because no matter which are industrial you are
trying to get into, there are going to be
some competitors that you must write to outrank and beat. So very important
thing is to find out your competitors and learning competitor keyword
research strategy. This is one of the key ways
for you to get started. Understand these guys. Most people will try to create the keyword research based on
brainstorming or whatever, whatever that comes to, as called as gut feeling. But going after data and
trying to analyze it, pulling out insights from
it and making decisions in this manner is an effective
and efficient manner. And then determining your
keyword competitiveness. Because if you want to see some initial success without
too much experience, within SEO, you have to make sure that you are going
after the right keywords and find out keyword
competitiveness so that you can target
the right ones. And then prepare your
content calendar. Preparing content calendar is incredibly important because
it helps you to have a deadline and it gives you a clear understanding about what you're
trying to go after. And you would be only selecting topics that are relevant to you. With all of these in something, some more about what these things are going to
help you and your site. Let's get ahead
into the course and make sure we are
achieving what we want. Thank you very much guys. Welcome to this course.
2. #1 A B C of SEO: Hello guys. Now we're going to learn
about ABC's of SEO. So there are certain
things which are very important to
learn about ECO, and these stand as the pillars or any search engine
optimization. So let's go ahead and
learn about them. So the ABCs are nothing
but authority of a site. Backings to a site. And number three is
content on a site. So these three at the
pillars for a CEO. Number 1, authority. Authority is nothing but
getting recognition from Google that you are a go-to
site for a particular topic. No matter whatever
Nietzsche or select, you must be a go-to site within that particular
niche or topic. If you are writing
about paleo diet, you have to aim to become a go-to source for anybody who is trying to
learn about paleo diet. If you are writing about
index funds investing, you have to be the go-to source. You have to build
credibility and authority. Google, right? So this happens over time. It is not something you
can get it overnight. It takes a long time to
build adoring people who are existing right now
as authority to sites, have worked for years to
establish themselves as such, and to gain such reputation and recognition
from Google itself. And establishing
superiority by publishing content relevant
to a certain area in a comprehensive manner. So authority is who is much more superior than the
other when taken into account about all their content. For example, if I'm
writing about paleo diet, every content within my website has to be relevant
to that topic. If it is not, I'm
sweating away from it. And it is not a good sign
because authority to people who'd be staying
between their niche. Like I haven't
said, establishing superiority by publishing content relevant
to a certain area in a comprehensive manner. Do not forget the last
word on prehensile manner because Google is going to
recognize you as an authority. If you can provide content
that is comprehensive, where the user or the
reader and not have any need to go elsewhere in
learn about a certain topic. And number three is
other website seeking you as an expert
or guide or guru. Betweens. Take for
example, investment. The go-to source must be Investopedia or
the balanced.com. Sites like these
are the go-to sites are anybody would consider or any finance or investing blogger would consider these
sites as authority to, or expert or guide
people, link to them. The reason being,
they are the experts. In a similar way
within your niche, within your, your topic, within certain category that
you are trying to focus. People or other
websites have to seek EU as an expert or
a guide or a guru. These are the main, these three are the main steps in which you can
build your authority. Throughout the course,
I'm going to teach you how to build this authority. And we're going to see how
to gain it and increase it. Right now. It is just about an overview for this
lecture itself. Then next is backings. The quality plus quantity
of backlinks to your site. Both have an effect
on your rankings. What I'm trying to
maintain here is quality, quantity you got done. Very powerful and group banking. At the same time aim to get
more of these backlinks. When you have better, good and more backlinks
of such a kind, it will increase the
effect on your rankings. And such opportunities
to gain links. Our guest posting, arrow
and resource page links. I'm going to teach you
about these guest posting hero and resource
page links as well. We talked within this course. So just letting you
know that these are the great opportunities
for link building. And also don't pull back
with your content in the world and helping other bloggers spread
providing value. Remember, most people when they're starting out
new would be feeling intimidated to put themselves or whatever the knowledge they
have written the word. That's not a good thing. Of course, it is
a natural thing. And it is something
that everybody goes to understand this, that it is not a good thing. You have to be comfortable putting
yourself out in the world. That's your part of it. You have to exist within it. You cannot be isolated
from the world. So try to exist a Witton. By presenting
yourself, you have to coexist with other
people in a similar way. You have to, your blog has to co-exist by helping other
bloggers are providing value. Whenever you're providing value, people will automatically
link back to your content. So this is the way you
can acquire backlinks, and this will also help
you in building authority. We're going to learn
about this as well. Spent in no matter how
many mappings required, no matter how much
third-order you may gain, you cannot negotiate with the kind of content that
you are publishing. Proper keyword research is
essential for content Texas. You have to understand this. For any blog or website to
see any kind of success. Initially, they have to be thorough within
their keyword research. They have to establish proper keyword research
for contents success. Knowing what the user wants is key to any business, right? So anytime you see any compete, there is progress in improving. You have to understand that. They are trying to understand
what the user wants. They are trying to get to
know what the user wants. And they're providing
such a kind of product or
service or content, which is the key
to any business. Google promotes
comprehensive content that matches the user in
debt and serves best, like I haven't
mentioned earlier, it has to be
comprehensive content. Google will promote
this type of content. Google itself will bring your site to the
fourth with a friend. But that users will
gain some kind of value through your content. And not only it has
to be comprehend too. Because comprehensive
in the sense people can repeat
what they have said. But that's not the issue here. You have to match user intent and it has to serve
the best to the users. Content standards. Created a big content that
it's a single stop shop. Yes. Better, but you're trying
to create any content, make sure that it is
a single stop shop. People are trying to
reach out to your blog. Right? After reaching your blog
and reading your content. Nobody needs to know, nobody needs to
go anywhere else. We learn about the same topic. That is the standard you have to maintain a single stop shop. We means not needing
to go anywhere else to gain knowledge
about a certain topic. So these are three
important steps. As CEO has many
moving parts, right? It started about a
few things that you can consider and think
of redesign SEO. Seo has lots of moving parts. Have to focus on
things in your hand. Number 1, build niche, other RED, which
means we have to build authority within
a certain area. You cannot be scattered around different categories or topics and expect to be adored it. You have to focus on a
soap and some niche. Number two, you have to attract high-quality backlinks that
beings are key rankings because it simply demonstrates the trust that other websites
and people have on new. Google will take you as
a go-to site number 3, create content that matches user intent with proper
keyword research, right? You can write the
best contained in the world if matching
user in debt. But there is already a site that exist with high authority, you will be finding too
hard to rank for it. So a proper keyword research is essential for
success as well. But these are the
most important things for a CEO success. During the course, we're
going to look into the nitty-gritty details of
each and every single topic. And we're going to
our website or blog, which you'll see
tremendous amount of success from initial stages. But let's go ahead and
learn about this guys. Thank you very much.
3. #2 Daily SEO Practices: Hello guys. Now, we're
going to learn about how to implement a SEO practices within your daily
blogging routine. Our class is titled less
daily SEO practices. So what we're going to
learn in this lecture are building SEO in do
your blogging routine. The four components of
SEO blogging routine which are essential
for your progress. Find new blog post topics, and then outlining and
researching your post topics. Writing new and epic content. Also at the same time
updating all contained because you don't want your
content to become stale. And finally, building links. These are some essential
things that you have to implement and include within
your blogging routine. Let's learn how to do that. Just schedule an hour
per day for a CEO. Just an hour per day. And that will be fine. Initially, assuming that you will be publishing at least
one new posts per week. You're publishing to new posts. You have to tailor
things too yourself. You have to make sure
that it fits your need. But one hour per
day is incredibly enough if you are trying to
be focused and be present. For this one, our companies, our keyword research, finding blog topics
using spreadsheets, which means I'm going
to teach you how to prepare the spreadsheet, which is going to help you find new blog post topics by
keyword research in a very intriguing and in a
very sophisticated manner. And then after finding
out blog topic, you will be learning how to outline and researcher
blah, hosts. And then you would be spending
time for writing content, although this could be optional. Alright, Why are you
saying it is optional? Then we have to publish
contained within our blog, which means you do not have to sit and
write your content. You can outsource it
to freelance writers. And it is a great option if you want to write for
yourself, it is great. It is incredible choice. But if someone who is
looking for somebody else to write or if someone
has a full-time job. And they can put a
little amount within into blogging so that
someone else would write some good comprehensive
blog posts for them. It is a great
option. You can hire some freelance writers and then promotion and
building backlinks. Like I said, you
cannot simply publish your content and
expected to rank high and ask Google to consider
you as an authority, you have to make sure
that your content is being reached to large audience. Did the same time, expect and implement certain backlink
acquiring procedures and processes that is going
to help you build authority. And Bowen keyword research. I'll be explaining
you how to gain keyword spreadsheet and find new blog post ideas from there. This is going to happen. You're going to
understand once you learn something that I'm going to teach you
in this course, it will be fine
for you to do and repeat the same process
over and over and over again by any number of blogs
which you want to work on. And then analyze the competition to find bankable content topics. Which means we are not
just simply trying to write every topic that
comes into our head. We are not going to
simply write about everything that
comes across arrive. We are going to analyze
our competition. And then we want to find
topics on which we can rank. And finally, prepare
your content calendar. Whenever you find a
bankable content topics, you have to prepare
a content calendar and include these topics
within the calendar. Which means calendar,
which means it is setting a
deadline for a topic. Now, you have to sit through it. You have to make sure
that your blog is getting published frequently and it is being published within
your blog frequently. This is incredibility. Outline and research post topics researching content that is already ranking what it will do. You're not supposed
to copy anything, you're not supposed to
plagiarize anything. It is a it is something
that Google frowns upon. Google doesn't like content
that is plagiarized, but you have to analyze
and study the topics. Studied the posts
ranking already. Why? Because you will understand
why they are ranking. What is the similarities, what are the differences? You can gain some
insights when you do some research about people
that are already ranking. And that is a great
way to progress. Initially. It didn't incredible. Gain some progress and see incredibly improvements in
the earliest stages because you would be not making mistakes that other people
have already made to go there. But learning from
others mistakes, learning from others
success is incredibly important for you to
skyrocket your progress. And then creating outline for your post before
you start the right. You're not just sit
and write everything that is there to know
about your topic, bread brown to
create an outline. An outline is like a
skeleton for your blog post. Right? To prepare an outline alias ten, then applying sinensis would be, it would be really good. And then start. If you're getting more
than 10 or gains, probably you will have
to make a sub outline, which means bride to keep a sub-point or din your outline. Or you can also do if it is exceeding more than
15 or going up to 20, you can break it down
into two blog posts. Right? So tried to create an outline for you post
before you start to write. And you have a skeleton
for your post, you can easily write condemned, writing and updating content. Although additional
time required to write Google
friendly content, you can optimize
your post to rank. Making sure your post
colors every corner of the topic and answers
every question from users. Possibly. Though, like I said,
you have to outline your conduct and the outline
has to do user indent. The outline has to answer
every question from the user, possibly making sure
your post colors in recorder of the topic, update previous and
mediocre content, which means you might have
already content published that may not be as
good as it could be. What you have to do
is you have to update this previous mediocre
content is going to help you in ranking better, which is going to head Google's recognized you as an authority. And then promote Shun
and building backend. You will be building
backlinks through hero posts. Yes, post and expert roundup. I'm going to teach you how to
do this process incredibly. And it is a great way
to acquire backings. Alright, It is a great way
to establish authority. Get backlinks are gain exposure and reach
a lot of people. This is something
like an example of weekly as your
timeline, right? We are only considering
five days out of one week. We are living today, Saturday, and Sunday here. This is just an example
of how you can proceed with what do we say
weekly SEO process. But take this as an example and make sure that
it fits your needs. Your need. On Monday, you would be keyword research. You would find a topic from your keyword research
and then outline it. In the next day you will be
researching and writing. And on witness day you'd be
researching and writing. And those day I would be
researching or writing, which means I'm
dedicating key is to have a researching
and writing. And someone is a good writer on one we as an incredible
experience within writing, you may not need this much time. But engaging for a beginner, it comes time to
write comprehensive, incredible epic content. Because content is king. Google will not consider your backlinks are your
authority or your credibility, unless your content
is actually valuable. A crane dig the time
to write good content. On Friday, you will be
publishing it and then promote. You'd start to promote Friday. And then get to Monday. You'd be promoting the content, although you would be following the same keyword research
outlining procedure, you would include promotion of the content that you have
published previously. And on witness day you would
be promoting it again, five to make sure
that you are keeping this process within
one hour per day. That is a good good
time limit to start because you would not be very willing are to
serve at the same time. You would not be spending
two less-than, right? But one post per week, this is good enough for
you to follow through. I usually take my
Saturdays in as well. I would like to work
on Saturdays as well, but this is an example. Make sure that you're following everything to the mark for that. At the end of the week
you will be having a one post published and brought the next
week you can work on an ex-post, did
the same time. It can promote a post that
has already been published. So with that in mind, let's get to the next lecture, guys, this is going well.
4. #3 Tracking your SEO Progress: Hey guys, this is a tracker, but I have prepared
in Google Sheets, but that I would
be able to track my progress throughout
the month. Right? Understand. Is SEO is not an
overnight thing, is not something you would fix today and you would see
the results tomorrow? No. It takes time. It takes at least a month to see at least a reasonable
amount of reserves. It takes a little really
about two or three months to see a great progress. Something that would
make sure that you would follow this SEO term as you progress or assume processes
that will help you to grow. So it is not an easy thing. It is not, sorry, it is not something that is, it will happen overnight. But you have to
establish yourself. And you need to
establish some processes that is going to help
you stay on track. And one of them is this
SU, progress tracker. Although you might
be able to use some tools or as your tools which crack your progress and it will
help you to stay ahead. And I personally like to maintain my own cracker
and spreadsheet because it will do much
more accountability. Because i'm, I'm supposed to enter a number or something
like a value here, which is, which
should be much more better and increase their
the previous month. It will make me much more
accountable to work better. You see the progress that I
have seen over the years. It might not be the best
birdies tin something, right? I'm I haven't built
a site routine. One of the toughest
needs it fitness niche, but I'm trying to figure
it out how to get ahead. I have worked on previous blogs, but this is a
fitness niche which I haven't added previously, but I'm getting into. So let me just show you how
else are we doing this. First is Google Search Console
impressions, and then HHS, total keywords are total the words on the
end of each month, how many keywords you are
ranking for that is the, that is something you have BIM, and then was domain authority
in Google Analytics. These are some things you
will be setting up initially. You don't have the
setup interests are most domain authority. If you just search
for your domain, it will give you everything
that is that they have within just
fried roots, right? We don't have to pay
for these right now. Although we will be looking
at the head chefs SEO tool, which is about $7, which will be really useful for us and we're going to use it. Or you can choose
as Uber suggest, which is totally free for at
least seven days free trial. You can run it with the free
daily free trial itself and do all the work that
I'm going to show you. It is up to you whether
you want to spend $7. So you want to do with the
free drug, it is up to you. And you get these Google
Search Console impressions. On the month of September, I have received a 161 ambition. And by the next minded
increase to 1.28 K. And by November it grown to be 0.07 K. And December 3.2 for k. There is some quite a number. Look at the growth
from here to here. And then from
October to November, the reason from November
to December is not as more when compared to
September to October and October November is because during the month of
November and December, I haven't published
anything because I was working on something else which
is very important for me. And I haven't been able to
put some time into this. Although this is where Haydn freelance writers
would be much more useful if you can invest illegal
amount into your blog. We are. Why? Because
all you would be doing is finding out topics that
will help you rank higher. And you'll be just
sending out the topic or the outline to your
freelance writer. They will spend our time
researching and writing, coming up with the best
comprehend to content. I myself haven't hired in freelance writer for
this particular blog. Reason being I wanted to
get my hands on as well. I wanted to work with this, although hide some of the work, so others and being able
to spend some time on it. Let's see what is going
to happen within January. And you can look at
the total keywords. I was writing for nine
keywords in September, 126, 141, and now it's 228. That is quite a good
amount of keywords I'm ranking for with very few posts. A Google Search
Console impression you would be just
to ask, could do. If your property, which
will be your blog URL, I myself have given my URL.com. And if you've got them
handy here, performance, you can select the date
range which you want to, and you can see how
much you're ranking. This is showing for
the last three months, the last few months
I have gained about 7.709 key impressions. Look at this impressions
graph and the clicks Gap, although it might
be or depending on the rankings and a lot of things, impressions
or something. How many times your article has come across somebody's eyes? How many times it has been
able to get in such search. Though? Right now, it is
really important. But you do includes Search Console within your blog and it will help you to grow. And then again, it
shows total keywords. It is a transporter keywords. We have fluoride.com,
my blog URL. And you can come here organic. You go into organic search and come down here you have
the organic keywords. And it will visually how
you have grown over time. Look at the graph,
how spike duties. I'm already ranking for one
post within the top three. I want to get the data, so I'm going to go, yes, we are downloading data for
us and we're gonna save it. And I will be opening this file. Now you get the data
pretty much for every day? Yes. From 69 until today. So let me just give you on 38, I was ranking for nine keywords as ranking for nine keywords. And then again, ON and OFF. And month, I'd be rank
of a 26 year, 2828. Let me just update that. There are a number, a 141. Let me go and see. It is actually 150. Is 150. And then on December, who are not in 2007 or last, or keyword ranking here, who enter in 2007. And then here, we're good here. I've been logging
using keywords here because I haven't been
publishing any pause. Neither was Evers
getting any bad things because I wasn't spending
enough time on it. The highest year I
think it would be r. Let me just see. The highest would
be 229 keywords. I haven't lost pretty
much too much. Only two keywords
have been lost, but you shouldn't be looking at that where I
was just telling you, but the keywords that you're
losing might only be two. But what is there with a volume, high-volume people
are looking for? And what people are looking
for a certain keyword. We have to be careful about it. Although this is how you
would track a right, you, you can go ahead into Mazda many authority and look
for your domain authority, how it is growing over time. And you can pick each
last date of each month. And at the same time,
Google Analytics, you can link your
Google Analytics. Do your blog in record how many sessions you
are getting for each month. In this way, you would be
able to see your progress. And and it is a really good way for you to establish this kind
of progress tracker. And the reason being you
would be accountable to record a high number. Alright, here, everything
is getting cracked. This is different from tracking yourself cracking your efforts. This is the result
of your efforts. So go ahead and prepare a
tracker like this and it will be amazing for your
or your blood group. And you very much guys.
5. #4 Making your Blog Secure: Hi guys. Now we're going to learn about
making your blog secure. With the billions of
websites adding up to the internet profile each
and every single year. There has to be rare
to protect yours because spammers, spires occurs. Our relentlessly crawling
through the web, trying to find hide
that are not protected, time to find sites
that are not secure so that they would gain
access and steal your data. Stealer, content
maker, blog, spammy, or tried to
incorporate some kind of viruses within your side. I mean, I'm not loosing out every single thing
that they would be doing. But keeping your blog
unsecure is a great way. Put your users and
your self at harms. We have to make our blog secure. Number 1, why do you
need an SSL certificate? What is an SSL certificate
that first of all, and then we're
gonna look into how to check your blog for SSL. What to do with your blood
doesn't not have SSL. Let's look into these things
because these three are, although these three are centered around SSL
certificate itself, this single certificate
alone can bring a lot of security
aspects into your site. Number one, why do you
need a certificate? Although this certificate is important for security purposes, google will consider your site. Google will consider
this metric of having an SSL certificate as a ranking factor because
they don't want to blow. Shows site to the users. The users, the people who are searching
for something within Google. They don't want to
provide in secure site. They don't want to
provide sites within the search results that are
not a cure to the users. Why? Because it will put
daily users at homes. Listen. Google is all about providing
great user experience. So when they're
providing insecure site, it is simply saying it is
a bad user experience. Although the user might go
to this unsecured site, might proceed with browsing. But still it is not something
Google prefers to do because they're into providing
great user experience. So they have taken this SSL
certificate into account. Whenever you have
an SSL certificate, your domain will not
be start with HTTP. Instead, we'd start with HTTPS. This is a Google ranking factor. And this ensures a higher
level of trust from Google Plus users having an SSL certificate with not just ensure higher level
of trust from Google, it will also ensure
trust from your users. It is incredibly
important for you to establish this certificate
within your domain. And this is mostly provided
by your web hosting service. But also if they do not try
to acquire one by yourself. And then to check your
blog for assessor, you have to open your blog. In Google Chrome, Edge or brave, whichever browser you use, open your blog and look
for a padlock icon. And the domain
should be studying with https instead of http. If you have these two things
covered, you are good to go. Let me just give you an
example of how it will be. Or I'm going to open aside. Which one do you want
me to open right now? I'm going to append my site. When I.com. You can see the domain is
already starting with HTTPS. It is a symbol, it is a signal that
my side is it Europe. And here is the padlock, right? You click on it, it will show
connection is secure and this side has a
valid certificate issued by a trusted authority. This means information such as passwords or
credit cards will be securely sent to decide
and cannot be intercepted. Though. Whenever a site does not have an SSL certificate or something, it is not associated with
having an HTTPS domain. We simply means it can be
intercepted by anybody who is proficient enough to hack
applied to maintain these. And you'll be good to go, right? And what to do if
your blood does not have a health certificate? Number 1, raise it to get with your support hosting
system, hosting team. Because mostly every
hosting provider will give you an SSL certificate
is not something you need to ask because hosting providers
are really keen about this and they will be
providing you with this. If they do not, you can
pay for this as well. Do not skip this step. It is not only about
giving security, it is also a Google
ranking factor. If you do not. If you do not take a valid SSL
certificate for your blog, it do not put it as
part of your site. It will eventually cause you to determine your site
in Google rankings. Not skip the step.
Take this certificate. But 99 out of 100 times
your support team, you're hosting team will be providing you with
an SSL certificate. And you do not even
have to add it for you. You can just ask them to
add it for you, right? So it is much easier. They will provide
instructions on how to add this video site, right? And you do not have to worry about adding SSL certificate. Each NADH are technically
heavy process. It is just a few clicks
and you're done. Are even if you do not
want to go through that, you can just ask your
support hosting team to implement that for you
and you'll be good to go. So understand that
entities and it is incredibly easy
for you to do it. So SSL certificate and making your domain starts with
https is incredibly important for your site growth because Google and
users will take this as a sign of secure site action
steps for Azure today, our tick, you see that you
have an SSL certificate. You don't have one,
contact your host. Those are the action steps
that you had to dig. And before going to
the next lecture, make sure that you
finish this one. Do not keep this as a pending because it is something very, very important for you to do. Thank you very much guys.
6. #5 Build Mobile Friendly Site: Welcome back to
our lecture guys. Now, learning about building a site that is mobile friendly. Alright, genocide
is being created. You have to take into the
devices as foreign factor because the way people are transferring from
desktop to mobile is increasing rapidly
from year after year. The amount of people that are
on mobile, incredibly huge. So you cannot just build a site that is good on
website and put on desktop and expected to rank
and work well on mobile. We have to build a
mobile-friendly website. Let's look into it. We're going to learn about why your site needs to
be mobile friendly. How to test for
mobile friendliness. What to do if your blog is
not mobile friendly, right? We're going to look
into why, how, what could do if it is
not mobile friendly so that he could become
mobile friendly. Site. Number 10. Google prefers
mobile site or others. Reason being the amount of people that are
working or using mobile and performing search
queries and looking into search results from mobile
devices is incredibly huge. The Google prefers a
biocides over others. It cannot argue with them. And Google is using a
mobile first index. So understand this. Google is going to index
your pages before it ranks. And the pages that
are not being mobile optimized and are not
going to be indexed. So it is really, really important for you to prepare a site that
is mobile-friendly, who get indexed, the
tab getting index. It is, there is less to
no chance for you to rank because Google won't be indexing your site as it is
not a mobile friendly site, then more users are
on mobile devices. And not only that, more
users on mobile devices, more number of users are also increasing rapidly
year after year. The amount of or the number of users are increasing rapidly. So number of users
on mobile devices, such as rapid increase rate, and then it is non negotiable. It cannot negotiate
with this factor. Google is considering
mobile-first pages and more number of
people are on mobile. The two important aspects of your search engine optimisation
are on mobile and you cannot negotiate with people or Google that I don't have
a mobile friendly site. Can you please prefer
to use my desktop site? Not have to make sure that
you are mobile optima. And then finally, making sure your team is
mobile friendly. A lot of times a user
experience can be drastically horrendous based on the kind of thing
that you're using. Because not all teams
are mobile-optimized. Some are just, some can look, some can give a display
that is distorted. Some can just simply
about Aggie Club the screen are some
can simply add the items or elements of your web design when it doesn't fit the
device dimensions. There are a lot of things
that can go horrendously. So you have to make
sure you are using and implementing a
team for your site, which is mobile friendly. And how to test for
mobile friendliness. Look at the URL I
have mentioned here. Just to use this URL. It is a test that is
performed by Google itself. They're going to take
your URL and they're going to see whether
this website, whether this website is
mobile friendly or not. And if you do not get a result
like I have shown below, it is showing the
pages mobile-friendly. If it is not showing as such, you have to go and fix
your site so that it fits. But that it is actually filling your mobile friendliness test. Alright, and then let me just
give you an example of it. I'm going to open a new window. And we will friendly test. And you can see here,
I've already given my URL and I'm going
to pick st. URL. And it is testing my
world for a minute. And it is going to give
you some good results. And you can see for
all successfully, page is mobile friendly. You can see in the
screenshot event how my website is
mobile friendly. So make sure that you're passing this test
before anything else. In the previous lecture I had mentioned about SSL certificate. Take that step first and
then come here and try to make them mobile applied to
pass the mobile friendliness. And if you're mobile friendly
test is not being passed. Pride to purchase a
mobile friendly theme, because most often your
team is the biggest issue. Anything else can be
dynamic, dynamically. It just to do a needs. It can be carbon neutral
added feature needs, but it has to be. Your team has to work well
for mobile friendly test. Well, I haven't
given some examples. Generate pristine as
proud Genesis Framework. Generate pristine me
is one good example. I'm currently using firm my, generate the esteem for my site. If you want the x to
generate pristine, tried to reach out gummy. It would be at rank to Azure.com or you can
comment on this lecture. And I will be helping you
with January pristine. It is a paid option, but
I'd be helping for you. Astra is another
damages friendly free. It doesn't cost you. Genesis Framework
is something more advanced if you're a beginner, this is not something
you would be proceeding in Denmark,
proceed with this. For someone who is well-versed
with mobile optimization. I was well-versed with
the WordPress site. And you can spend them
little amount of money. And the Genesis framework, but most often makes
sure that you're, you're either using generate
pristine or awestruck. You want help regenerate, press, reach out to me, comment
on this lecture. Or you can send a message to me or reach out to me on
rank to a CIO.com. Let me just show you a website. Anchor CIO.com. Yeah. You can mail or you
can even email me. I'll be helping you
would generate pristine. So that is the, that is something I
can help you with. If you have any problem
making this mobile-friendly, I will have been
with that as well. That's it for now. Let's get added into
the next lecture. Thank you very much.
7. #6 Introduction to Site Speed: Hello guys. In this lecture, we're going
to learn about site speed. I'm just introducing you to
site speed in this lecture. But in the next lecture we're
going to look into how to actually make sure that we
are taking advantage of it. And we are enhancing, we are enhancing our site. But these sites bead. One, why sides b
is non negotiable? Number two, how to
test your site to be. These are the two things that we're going to learn
in this lecture. Website. Bead is a ranking factor that can have mentioned earlier
in the previous lectures. Side security, which is of an SSL certificate or HTTPS
in the domain itself, is a mark or is a Google
ranking factor. Why? Because Google doesn't want
to serve insecure sites, sites that are not valid, sites that are not protecting
themselves or their users. Google doesn't want to bring those kind of scenarios
into their search results. In a similar manner. Google doesn't want to serve. Flows site to choosers. Though, it has taken website speed as a
ranking factor as well. Fast load time is equal to
better user experience. Googly serving better. But whenever a user is searching for something within Google, they want to find answers
to their problems. And if your site is just creating another
problem in loading, I would Google want to serve it. And why would he when people
want to visit your site? Because statistics show that 53 percent of mobile
visitors leave. If your site takes more
than three seconds to load, you can see that it only
takes about three seconds for a person to come
to your site are just totally discard your site. But you have to keep your load
time below three seconds. It's not below 2 second. All right, that is
an important factor for you to rank because
if your site is loading, slow, Googly is going
to draw your site back. It is going to push
your rankings back. Instead of bringing it up, even though you
have good content, your site is not serving better. But these are some
bigger roadblocks that you have to finish, like the SSL certificate, file friendliness, or
hear the site speed. These are some things that
you will have to get them done in the initial stages because you don't want to
spend time on this again, you don't want to come back here and keep fixing on there. These are some
roadblocks in Euro. See your progress. And important
things are like SEO or as you are content backlinks. He would research promotions. These are the important
things that you have to take into account. Site speed, mobile
friendliness, SSL security. These are these are some roadblocks that you have to clear you before you go ahead. Up to test your site,
you can either use pinned on GD matrix. Our best multiple
diamonds are red. These are some important things but testing multiple times. But your site would get
under three seconds. So I'm going to show you
some examples right now. I'm going to go to pinned
on website B test. But I will be doing areas. I'll be using my
right.com not oop. Route I.com. And I'm going to
test it from San Francisco, just a mere selection because my bathroom primarily
comes from us. I wonder test how it works
within this region, right? If you have some reform join, you can take it as well. And click Start Test. And rating the gives
you the results. It won't take much time, will be really quick, very quick. About to get our
results almost done. Yeah, here's the results. Yeah. You can see the load time is less than three seconds and the performance degrades be 86 and the page size
is about 53, 59. He's all are some good metrics, but we can also improve
this even more. All right? Most authorities
might images are taking more, um, but it is only
under KB, right? This is not a bad time. I can even further
increase my speed. Right node, that is
the one I'm fixing it. Then I'm going to GT matrix. I'm going to do in my domain. As and click texture side. You can see this testing
from Vancouver, Canada. Unfortunately, we don't have the freedom to select our
location, the server location. Unlike Pingdom testing side. But duty metrics ys
are credible and authority to on giving
you some speed matrix. Let's look at our matrix right? Then reading the report. Yeah, it is incredible. Okay, region of
our mental grid is if everything is incredible, you can see everything
is getting done in less than three or some
content to connect with paint. This is about 681. Milliseconds are just content to paint is about
taking 1.2 seconds. These are all some good signs. Overall, we're not exceeding
the limit of three seconds. So we don't have to there
is nothing to worry. But let me go ahead and
esteem Google. Lightspeed. Yeah, PageSpeed Insights. This is where you
can test your Farel. Guys. This is done by Google, so it isn't, he can
rely on it as well. It is giving separate
from mobile and desktop is something incredible. Yeah, Let's go below. You see it is
showing 85 seconds. The reason it is showing
this much amount of time is because initially your site is going to take our initial server
response time. But once your site is
loaded for the first time, it is going to take this
long from the next. All right, let's look
at desktop is 96. That is incredible. You see
the speed index 1.6 seconds. What I'll be doing is
I'll be analyzing it a typo tested multiple
times because it will give you some
average metrics and where you can punish. In CNR has been
reduced equitably about usually less showing
about more than five seconds. Now it is 2.57
reason because well, the vendor side is, side is getting late
loaded for the first time. It is going to take
initial response time. Somebody's going to take some
initial server response, which will be increasing
decide a load time. But as you grow in, as people are coming
to your site, the response time will be reduced because it will
be loaded in the cap. Now, let's look at desktop
and surety subordinate. Again see little 0.8
seconds previously, two is about 1.2 to
1.5. It is point. So I do test multiple times. I would be getting
great results. So I do optimize
your site for that. It gets under three seconds. Some of the important things
you can keep in mind are like the theme plugins. I'll be going into each
of them right now. It is important. Gesture side. Make a note. What is your site's
speed, what our matrix, where it is taking more time or really just taking
more time to load. There. It is about
loading your page majors. There it is taking
more time and then silver response times are
easy, easier page size. Any shoe like to take these points from your matrix and keep a note of that because we're going to
solve them as well. Thank you very much guys.
8. #7 Tips to Improve Site Speed: Hello guys. In the previous lecture, we have been introduced
to site speed. Now, let's learn about how
to improve site speed. What are we going to deal
with in this lecture? We're going to set our
site speed expectations because you don't want to be overlooking the bottlenecks that are going to happen
throughout the process, you have to set
your expectations. Because when you're
starting out, you wouldn't be having
unlimited resources to enjoy the best site B, but you're going to have to
provide decent amount of bandwidth and decent amount
of sophisticated sight bit. Let's just say it that way. And then we're going to
deal with the web hosting, optimizing images, pruning
your plugins and tools. And then finally,
with display ads. These are some things
we're going to look into in this lecture. First one, setting expectations. It is not an easy win. Although the site speed might
reside within your hand. It is incredibly hard
sometimes to get around it. It will be sometimes
very tough for you to figure out how to
improve your site speed. But you can leverage
on some things like the support
team from your host. The reason being they are
incredibly technically strong. They know what to do
within their own platform. So you can take
advantage of debt, their support team of your host, and focus on erasing big issues. At, like I said, you have
to make sure you clear out the big stones before you
can deal with the pebbles. Because you have to make sure that that to making
some progress. And the reason I said deal with the biggest tones before you deal with pebbles. The reason being, these are some incredibly hard things
if you can figure it out, It's not incredibly
hard thing to do. These are some hard things. But if you can improve
them initially, you don't have to keep
worrying about them. You don't have to keep coming back to them again and again. So focus on erasing big issues. These tests periodically like
from every month to month, set a schedule like every month in the
beginning of the month, I'm going to test my site speed. I'm going to see the metrics. Palmitate is working. Since the last month. You have to have a process
that is going to tell you. All right. This is something I
need to check now. This is something I
have to deal with. If there is any, if there
is anything I should be improving because site
speed is important. Google matrix, it is a
Google or y-tilde factor. In terms of ranking. Web hosting, hosting is deemed most important
factor phi site speed. All right, You have
to understand this. Your horse is where your site is located and they're serving
your site to users. Although Google might be the one they are
displaying the results, your site is actually
residing on your host. So you have to make sure
that at least most of the times changing hosts can solve the problem
within no time. Like I've said, this is one of the big stones, biggest shoes. If you can focus on
this, you will be making some big
progress right ahead. Like if you're on Bluehost, aid is not really great option. I know people tried to educate the bloggers who
are teaching have the blog. Like me might. Tried to suggest
you're using Bluehost, but I'm not trying to suggest
blue was the reason being, it is one of the
easiest to get on grad from TPP platform, something good to start with, but you'd be orderly. Sacrificing site be. Bluehost is not the
best for site B. Write the best hosting prosaic speed would
be WP exhausting. They are incredibly good. They're much better
than Bluehost. And by far the industry
standard, right? Even with a business plan, even with the least costly plan, you'd be getting some
incredible site speed metrics. One, not only dead WPS hosting, they have a great support. Do they have in fact, the number one
best support team. Butyl, you don't have to
worry about anything. There will be helping you
with anything they did to my deal with desk get
on their website. And the bottom right
corner you'd be seeing what support
team chat box. Let me just do WPF,
the px hosting. Only bx.net. If you just reach here. But let me just accept this. Most probably there will be
providing a chat option here. Here. You just have to
include your name and everything and
start the chat. And everything will be fine. They are so quick to respond. Dear, not going to
take too much time, not even more than
a Minecraft daemon App a minute there right ahead. They're ready to
Soviet and not being not actually promoting a WBS, but they're the industry
standard, right? We don't write Bluehost if
WPF seems like expensive. By SiteGround, SiteGround
is one good option. But my recommendation would
be to go WPA exhausting. That is when my site, the
product.com ectoparasites. And then optimizing images. Large images can bring your
site's speed to very low. The reason being demoed to size, the amount of time it takes to load is going to
increase with the size. The trying to keep your
images that fits your need do not overextend the
need of your images. Also consider using tiny PNG. It is a website which is great at compressing your images before
uploading to your site. So whenever you are trying to upload an image to your side, just drag and drop on tiny PNG. Let me just give you an example. So this is tiny PNG.com. I'll be downloading some image. Let me just go to XLS.com. I'll show you how much any P&G would be
great at doing it. Let me just download an Egypt picture because
would be much more colorful. Yeah, I think this one is nice. But section now, here I am. All I need to do here is I'm
going to drag this image. Here is 1.4 MB. As I have downloaded it. Look at 556, 0.1 KB. The amount of size it
has reduced, right? Let me just download
this right now. I'm going to save it. And think I want to
do here right now. Open these two images
and see quality. All right, this is
the one we have a compressed and this is the one that we have downloaded on light-speed, very Pexels.com. You can easily see
the quality here. There is no amount of
reduction in quality. Or even if it had a
reduction of equality, it is non-negligible,
is not at all able, we're not able to find it. That's the level of
sophistication tiny PNG can provide with this, right? So try to use tiny PNG.com before you are
trying to compress, before you try to upload, the site are literally compressed
at 1.4 MB image 56 MB. Or it is one important
thing for you to, it is one important
thing for you to use it next to
smoosh plug-in, it works great at
optimizing images. Even after using tiny PNG. My image is residing at 556 KB. The reason is I have
shown you a JPEG image. If you would be using PNG
image, the site, sorry, though image would be
of much less light. I'm going to give
you another example. Let me just go to
canva.com where I would be pretty much lines. So here are my blog images. Every image that I
actually upload to blog. I've been editing them here. The reason I'd been
customizing my images so that I'd be giving a good
amount of time touch as well. So here I have a
number of things. And be downloading this
push-up progression, manage and all 20 age and downloading it as a PNG. And then I'm going to download
it as a JPEG as well. Reason is, I want to show you the difference that
are going to exist. Or of times people
might be worried, they're not able to figure
it out how to save, how to get around this. But it is really about
the image file format that people might neglect, are people might forget totally. Right? So here are R3. Png image is about 819 KB, while DP defined is about 76 KB. The reason when
you have colors as dominant in your image,
JPEG works better. If not, you would be
going for PNG, right? So it is just 76 KB. And given an example of mysite, now, I will take the
sound is excuse me here. Let's see how much
sound the 1.6 GAVI. Here you can see about the image about 1.4 and
B is reduced to 544 KB. Here, my 76 KB is
reduced to 71 KB. It is a great way for us to establish some
site speed metrics that are going to be benefiting. And at the same
time, smooth plugin is a WordPress plugin, which is going to help you in further compressing your
image within the site itself. You don't have to worry
about doing anything. Just install the plugin within
your WordPress website. And it is going to work fine. Tuning your plugins and
doles out of times. You might have installed plugins that you
don't have any US, but still you get you have them. So remove those plugins
before you go ahead and use a catching and optimizing
plug-in art optimized. The reason I have given out optimizes the reason
I'm using it. And WPS also has used
it to optimize my site. Some other good
recommendations would be WP rocket or WTF daughter gauge. These are some paid options. And optimizer works
really wide, really fine. But I want you to someone
who can spend some money. Go ahead and install
WB total WP, rocket, our W3 Total catch. If you are using image heavy, if your website is
totally image heavy and video heavy, users Caelian, a content delivery network
which will be helping you to serve your images or
videos in a seamless manner. But that your site
speed want you won't have to sacrifice for site B. And then pruning your plugins. Use only what are needed, like I mentioned earlier, do not overload
your WordPress site with plugins that you
don't have any need. Only keep those plug-ins
that are necessary. And always consult your host
and do what they recommend. Even though you might be
willing variable, worse, do it. How to improve your site's
speed matrix, right? We can conduct your
host tried to contact the support team and get advice because they're very
good at technical. And they can give
you some advice which will be very useful. And then display ads, they will slow down your site. Reason being most of the time display ads
are image heavy. And whenever you are
using display ads, they are going to load your
site with lots of images. And sometimes it
could be GIF images. And these are really
heavy on your site. If you're using
Google AdSense, it, it is going to hurt
your site, right? Media Wayne and
address will be fine. The reason is because
these media wine and I drive are using Lord, lazy load. Lazy load technique will make sure that your
site loads first. Indeed the content
loads first end. Then they're going
to show their images or whatever advertisements there they wanted to
display on your site. Unlike agent or
any other network. So we didn't meet the
requirements for media wine, or I'd try whichever
one you want. Although media wine requires only about 60 thousand
sessions, while at what, a 100 thousand decisions
by the time I'm making a crack reached
this requirement. Don't really go ahead and
opt for Google agents or as it can really hurt you. These are some ways you can
improve your site's speed. Make sure that you're
taking all of these steps. Go ahead and wash
step after step. Do not skip any steps because
these are some things people usually neglect and
fail to see any results. They are sewing. So you got to publish content, so eager to get backing, so eager to see the traffic that they go
blind about these things. Most of the time they won't see any good results because Google cares about district, right? Not only content are backlinks, but Google does care
about distinct. And if you are not aware of
it, it is going to hurt you. Make sure you do this. Thank you very much guys. That's where do
the next lecture.
9. #8 Introduction to Relevance: Hello guys. Now we're going to learn about
site structure. Now how also given homepage and category pages has subtitle for this lecture. The reason being, this is not just about
building your site, but it also, but also
a stinger relevant. What we're trying to produce. Your blog. Would ever going to learn about
what is Relevance? Relevance is one of
the pillars of SEO. As I have only mentioned in the probably the first lecture or the ABCs of SEO lecture, that we have to publish content that is relevant to
a particular niche. For that we would
build authority. The relevance is one
of the pillars of SEO. And we're going to
learn about how a low DA side can outrank Heidi, A-site, TAs and I think
But domain authority. And we're going to learn how to outrank a high
domain authority and established strong
authority to domain. And also we are trained in certain cases and we're going
to learn how to do that. And does Google
actually consider to you as an expert as an export? Our army spread across
different topics. Not really mastering,
editing, area, master of something, or
a jack of all trades. Reason being, google
wants to sell the best contemporary chooses if you're not the master
of your content, why would it choose
your welders? Let's learn how to
deal with all of that. The re-investing is
what is relevance. You shouldn't be
laser focused on one or two topics that
chip and become as an expert who believes
your garden or considered or even taken
into account as an expert, you have to be laser focused
on one or two topics. This is what I have mentioned in the first character
of ABCs of SEO, that whenever you are
publishing each content piece, you have to ask yourself, is this content
relevant to my site? Who my audience
actually need this? You have to be laser focused
on one or two topics. For example, if you are
in a fitness niche, you will be posting pretty
much about workout. At the same time you would be
telling them are indicating your readers about dydt. Those are two topics, but catered towards
only one niche. So in this manner, you could be laser
focused, any relevance. And also displaying your
expertise to Google. Google only cares about
you, your expertise. Although sometimes
it might take people from all the niches
or somebody who's spread across different niches and tried to show the results.
But that is pretty rare. There isn't being
Google wants to. So the best content
which users with the number of blogs and websites
being added to the web. At a rapid rate. In the range of about millions
to billions of websites being added each year. Google wants to have
a sophisticated way of presenting the
results to users and the ways going expert
blocks. We can do it. You can take two examples here, rubber bands as focused, register as a broad. The reason I have
chosen these two things is because a rubber band, it's ranks well within
its niche as a dominant, but it is focused. Greatest, He's a
humungous website. Utah ranks pretty highly, but it is spread across
different areas. The reason I'm showing this is because you can rank either way, but it depends on your credibility and the
way you're organizing. Let me just show you this
example of a bandage.com where this dot guys. Yeah. You can see a rubber band. It is all about resistant bands. Their workouts, and
everything is centered and focused on using
resistance band. You can see the pull-ups using an distinct bands
and they have given, I think this idea is
taking a little time, your time to Lord, either it is My Wi-Fi problem
or it is a side issue. Is it? This is columnar
little headache. You do not want to have
this kind of experience. You can see they're
selling resistance band, but let's head over
to their blog. And you can see here, booty band work
reverberating rings. This is something not really
useful for us out today. Assisted pull-ups with
band, CF exercise. I felt people Ritalin
sustained band, best Tormach such as equipments to buy and
they're definitely going, I'll include this
ten bands, right? Just using a resistant bands, exercise resistance
band and a lot. All right, good, incredible
amount of information. Gesture and resistant bands. And they're definitely ranking highly in this
resistant bands area. Let's write out a greenish. You can see, let's see
It's category pages. You can see it as
a food fitness, although you can take
it as one because diet and fitness can
go hand in hand. But still we have
included beauty, home, life, help, and
then again products. This is what I call a
jack of all trades. But greatest.com has a
humungous authority, though. It is a kind of
will care for them. If you're a beginner
blogger and you are simply catered around
all of these things. Unless it is a lifestyle
blog you'd be creating, who'd be seeing
very low results? Google will not take you as a credible or
authoritative site. So it is important
for you to take into account that you have
to be relevant, right? Although you can rank
like greatest is broad, but it's still ranks because
it has a higher authority. The beginner blogger,
you have to focus on. Being relevant. Relevance is one of the pillars of a CEO more relevant to you or it increases the possibility of
a ranking, right? To, whenever you're
trying to publish more and more content data
centered around one topic. What Google understands is Google will take
into account all of your blog posts and it
will try to create, get an idea or a decided so
focused on particular thing like Brunei.com is
focused on fitness needs. Let's just say it is
focused on building a male athletic
aesthetic bigger, right? So it is pretty much will be focused
on workouts and died. Whenever I'm published in each
and every single article, Google will try to understand
what I'm focused on. Alright, these guys focusing on building good body
or an ideal body, or this site is focused
on providing value through calisthenics
or weight training or write or to
resistance training, there will be a number
of things that we can to categorize if it
is a diet or right, these scientists publishing
more about periodize. Our Mockito died the day
you are publishing content. I kind of topics you
are taking into account while publishing
content on your site. You are trying to make Google understand what
your site is about. This is incredibly important. Lawdy insights can
outrank Heidi. She, Oh, I small fitness
blog can outrank idea site. I will give you an
example of how, how I have been able to
manage our ranking high. Even fewer links are already
can rank high in Google. The reason being, links are not always the most
determining factor. And he was, people
might take to heart, focus on food blogs
will not be focused. But then he words,
reason beings. They have the time and effort to go after
a huge keywords, but these are the bread
crumbs that leftover. When it comes to
pool many that you can go ahead. He came up. The more post to publish
on a certain topic, the polar, polarity are
relevant to your building. I can say we did single post being focused on being a
relevant to your site. And as you post one
after the other, it is going to increase
your authority. It is going to
increase the relevance who are trying to build. In this manner, you can
outrank Heidi assigns. That doesn't give you something. Every yeah. When I search for this, you can see average
position to write. This is from prudent.com. You can see right here or right I blog which
is right here. Let me just pull up the metrics for estimated. I am dragging on Wikipedia. Wikipedia has a huge authority. Bbc.com in ganglion called
ResearchGate is a research, all of the even YouTube. All of these things have
a huge authority or mine, I blog has about domain
authority of three. And yet I'm ranking high
at position two, right? That is an incredible reach. Although the search
volume is quite low. Can see the impressions
are only about a 122. I'm getting about
quantity three clicks. But my average position is two. This is what I'm trying to say. Volume. So its volume would be less. There are potential to
rank is quite high. You can take advantage of that. There's Google considers
he has an expert, or are you spread across
different topics? Right, with a broad
focus will have hard to be considered
as an expert because the way you are trying to
educate people are providing value for people is
focused around everything. And if you go to a
restaurant, you want food. If you go to a shopping mall,
you want to buy something. You want to go to a gym,
you want to work up. There is an amount of mucus. But in areas they similar manner why people are
coming to your blog. You have to have a focus. You have to be your
target audience, have to have an Yeah. Board, or you're trying to
achieve or trying to provide, is the reason why you have
to have a narrow down focus. You can add. You
cannot be an expert at traveling fitness training, looking in resting and
construction all at the same time. Let's not being
called as an expert. That's not called
being an expert. You have to establish
your expertise within something,
then go forward. Or eat is a major ranking. Fat I eat is something Google
calls expertise, authority, Tunis and trustworthy,
which I'm going to discuss with you end
the end of the course. This is not something you
would be worrying right away. Stay until the end of the
course because it is something very useful and important for
you to take advantage of. And not only take advantage of, but also you need to
establish this with Google so that it would
consider you as a go-to site. Multimedia sites can also rank, but they need optimized
side stretch. Like I said, you can see
up to breakfast Berg com, they have a multiline. Each site is a multi-site. If they have an
optimized decide stroke with a huge authority, they can get away
with the ranking. Very easier than other sites. If you are someone who is
starting out rest now, have to be focused on
providing good value, providing great amount of content around a
particular topic. That's it for now
about being relevant. Let's get ahead and
learn about being in relevance and also improving
your blog dynamics. You'll Google. Thank
you very much.
10. #9 Ranking with Broad Site: Hello guys. Now we're going
to learn about how to create a site that can rank even though it is not focused on
the Leech lattice, then iterate across multiple
ledgers are categories. We have already seen greatest.com
as an example for this. But even our greatest.com
on the ranks. We can actually create a
site or create tied to that GIN bank from multiple
categories are multiple and each with
having this element of scheduled or
multiple Nietzsche and be actually implemented. But there is a process for that. I haven't given you I'm sorry. I'm giving you an
example here is going to clear that process for you. Alright? So we have
few examples here. We have four websites
have all been fought. Dabs you have done from the
same brand is really well. And each of these website is
focused on different topics. I find out even fit. Beethoven. Although reading by the tightly urging
it, by the total, him get a good idea in
mind focuses on painfully, anything that relates to our colleges or anything
that is above certain. Behavioral health is focused on reading from zed
regarding health, right? Symbol called answer. Anything can be focused in. Give it a treat
is about fitness. Boycott, be shipped RD
your source and drain. Anything about fitness. Actually. Now it's pretty well. Family is about right from the stage of manage
or continuing, tiled and parenting them until they grow to
a certain stage. And every little thing that
is involved in this process, in these stages is actually covered written variable family. But these four sides
have a purpose. They have a purpose for why they exist and they wanted to
actually publish them. But there are actually quite established x squared
and z variable in mind. This is a similar web and shun you can find it
in Google Chrome extent. It is Ingrid who
will estimate to get some estimations
about any side. If they have access
to that Domino's on all types can put enzymes which are having credible among Daphne or it has been
dead for a while. We can get data about
them available in mind. Instead, the average until
traffic is about 18.7 million. There is a lot that
is a lot of trash, predominantly from the
United States and India. These are some
dominant or these are the bean affix sources country
for a variable in mind. But the important thing here
is dominant search source is the dominant traffic source
is search being 86.75%. So this is one metric and let's go to
very well help here. 90.45% of the traffic
is from search. About 30.5 million. That's a humungous site, right? It's not a site that isn't. These are not the kind
of results that you can expect overnight or here, it takes some time. Good of a fit.com. It has a defined point, 29 percent off track. But and extravaganza,
we're Chang Re milia. Well, you can see
this drop in traffic. And in June of 2021
year is about 11.3. And number it is about 7.7 approximately 7.3
million, right? No, we are not sure about
the cause and what caused this effect, but
million bracketing. But still it packs
a lot of traffic. And very well, Emily receives 90 to 3% of
traffic from urge, about 12.2 million
visitors per month. So you can understand
yet these sites, each of them receives
African millions, combine, they are more than about 50
million traffic, right? More than about, yeah, more than 55 million
visitors per month. A mind from these
four sites itself. So you're going to
understand this. There is a certain credibility, certain authority for the site they are not existing with. So let me just tell you this. He took these websites are low, their focus on different areas, have a similar processor
and look at them. All of the sides are designed
in a similar manner. At all of the sites are
designed in a similar manner. You can to AR you must
be a similar thing. They just kind of a design, yes. They want to stay relevant. Of them asked in relevant. And you can see
the category menu. You can see everything that
is more about when mind, if focus on the deed, is it roommate and psychology, then have newest antibodies. Here, everything about
will help and the news, tools and resources
and about us. They develop fit is having
the same kind of witness, her leading weight-loss and use those in a similar random
news tools and about us. In each of them, they're
having a sudden omen. Think that news
antibodies and within our borders had this
editorial process. You can see here process,
they have a prominent, they're seeing this
is their promise that trying to
establish themselves as a good source because
they are providing content that is written by a dotted it with people
and then review board. That Review Board is
going to do you each and every little thing that is
mentioned within the article. So whatever article that you are reading from each
of these websites, any single article,
you can take them and consider them as,
what did I say? A valuable solution are
available at white. You can take them as
a credible source. The reason being
everybody within this site visit
reviewing their articles is actually professional
within that, within that area. So you cannot, you
cannot simply say, or you cannot simply
argue with D. As these are some things is
incredibly hard to build. They have built a
certain amount of trust within Google and with the users so that they can actually exist
within the site. You can actually
exist as 32 sides. With being as riddled though they are focused
on different categories. You can see all
of them are under very valid river family. Very well fit, better
were held available mind. So what happens here is although you're focusing
on a similar, sorry, I'll layer focusing on
is unlike greatest.com, he really actually able to build a site that are
actually credible. Though, if you have someone who wants to
write about topics, hi, To get around writing topics that are on
multiple areas. But keep them as silo pages are different types like
these under a similar man. This is going to incredibly
help you. Alright? We do have another example. Let me just pick up this Bruce. Let me just go. Yeah. All right. Now these are fine. So each of them Who's each? Respects? And then against produce.com, this is focused on gardening. Let's go into each
traffic rules. Aedes gets have our point p
0.9 million. It is permanent. It is a lot of
traffic and respect. It gets about 9.3 million in
reaching incredibly huge. List. Gardening get about 25, 0.5 million peak in this graph
being about 1.17 million. That is a lot of traffic. That is an art or a general guarding our
deck or whatever it is. That moisture considered as her honed that regenerating
about 40 million even in million and
twenty eight point nine million in TDD annually, they are getting about 243
million annual readers are of traffic that
gender analysis. Oh, this is what I'm
trying to advise you. Try to build your blog or your website that are
going to be multiple, niche focused, but they exist
on different platforms. In this way, you will be able to do whatever you want to
do at the same time. Building or the already and actually building websites
that are going to be credible and concern
as a Daughter Day 2 by Google and users. This is a one way you can actually build your
pages on your site. Let's get to the next
lecture. Thank you guys.
11. #10 Making your Navigation Google Friendly: Hello guys. Now we are going to work on how to make your new
navigation Google friendly. Because google takes
your category pages and your navigation
into account. If it is Google friendly, your site will have a
much more ease of use. Your site will have better
way of getting indexed. Because the way your
pages are organized, that way your site is
organized using data itself. The pages will also get indexed. When you have a site that
is properly organized and, and get indexed much
more efficiently, are much more organized manner. Google will consider
your side as as an, as an authoritative site. The reason being the
organization level, the way it is structured, way the navigation happen. Because if it is considered
as an adult or DataSite, people must be able
to navigate through your site in a much
more seamless man. So let's learn how to do that. It ever going to learn
about Ember one, why site navigation
is important. And but two, ADL site navigation
must be clean and focus. And but three, decide on your
main categories. Before. I'm going to give you an
example of some real effects. So it will help Google understand what
your site is about. Like I have given
you an example of greatest.com in the
previous lectures. You can see the greatest.com has a very seamless and very simple and yet effective
site structure. Right? All of which categories are
listed within the minimum. It has full died, exercise, beauty, lifestyle,
and finally a product. Everything has been
listed within their menu, it in the navigation menu. And just click on, select some, some category and read and read all the articles
that I've written. It's categories in
a similar manner. Simply saying, Google will all to index your pages
in a similar manner. So that and Google
comes to categories. It will understand
what your site is about and what to
better user navigation. Like I have said, people will be able to understand your site, have to navigate and how
to navigate through it. It is not something
easily done, right? Whenever there is a site that
is not properly organized, are properly not setup. Navigation. You have to understand this. The navigation is a key factor. All right, navigation is
aggregation is going to help users understand
what your site is about and what are the topics
that have been covered. And if they want to read about something
within your site, they will know
where to go, right? Number three, it
will help you get yourself organized
because lot of times you'd be
writing articles and worried about where you
should be listing it. If you have no navigation or no categories
within her side, it would be just easy for
you to push it to block. But if you do have categories, like if you have a
site plan and that is for training and died, you do want to publish recipe into diet,
out into training. So you wouldn't
be getting having organized site
navigation, study. Site navigation will help
you get organized as well. I have given an example
only about two categories. What if the site has multiple
or like a five categories? Then you would be understanding like you take example
for investment. If you're writing, if you're building a blog
about investments, there will be a number
of things and B1 and B6, number 2, index funds. Mutual funds,
options are trading. Cryptocurrencies is a number
of different things where you can invest in
a similar manner. If you're writing a post in
one of these categories, you have to publishing within
the appropriate category. So having a site navigation established would
make you organized. And it gives you the comfort of adding custom category pages. Like I have said. The reason I'm saying custom
category pages is because something that is not related to any other blog post
within other categories. Yet, it must be existing
within your site, which means an isolated
custom category. You can create it when your site navigation is
actually implemented. Ideal site navigation must
be cleaned and focus. A reason navigation
exists is to make sure that everybody would understand what
your site is about, what Google and for users, if it is cluttered with
unnecessary information or it is created in such a manner
that it is not easy to use. The whole point of a
navigation is update. The reason we have navigation or site navigation is
to make it easy for the users and the Google to understand and navigate
through your site. So here I have given you
the optimal navigation, which is to be minimal and
focused on high level. So if you greatest.com, it is organized on the high
level within its categories. Even if you see at the
examples I've shown you for very well mind
very well help variable, fixed and very valid family. All of them are organized
on the higher level. And they are minimal. They're not trying to be overly complicated within
the category menu, where the user will be reaching
out to navigate to this. They are keeping it
as concise, minimal, and try to create
using a pyramid should probably use
a pyramid structure like very well brand has used. Drop level would be
just the homepage and then the category or the
site navigation element. Within those elements,
you can keep it measures the river than mine. Open this. You can see when page it has to release
within the guide agrees. You. Let me just click until you get it. And number are the
range of topics within this category, right? But this is one way. And if you go to a
self-improvement, has everything that
is related to, as it edition, mismanagement,
reality, and more. Ration, brain health, biology
and relations, psychology. They have some more topics. Therapy, basic green resources, story and biographies,
and some of those. So it is easy for you to understand if it is
categorized in this way. The thin NC and page
has these categories. It didn't a category. It has a number
of subcategories. If you click on subcategory, you can see these
are the article and article for intelligence. It has given his
intelligence brief history, teres, major
cushions, and below, as given everything about all the articles related to
intelligence category, right? This is how you can get
your site organized. This kind of navigation
will actually release, or the user can navigate
through your site. You should also decide
on your main categories. So whenever you're trying to create categories
for your site so that putting implement
or ESRD navigation, you should limit it
to a decent amount. Would more than about
three or four get-go cell and that depends on
your needs, right? Like I said, for
guide for my fitness, I dab created categories or more training and
date that it does. I don't want more category. Navigation. Like I say, it is going
to decide dependent. Broader site will
have more categories and neat site will
have fewer category. When British.com it
hasn't lot of categories. The reason being it is broader
site is more spread out. If something is a neat site, it will have fewer categories
because it is decided already catered towards
something that is a focused, that is already having something single category
as a complete side. So it will have
fewer categories and important engaged or you didn't
plan it on a spreadsheet. Read, create a mock
category are Mark and navigation site on how your
posts should be published, where it would be published, in which category it
would be published, and how many
categories would be, would it be having tried to create it in a
spreadsheet and it would ease out the amount of workload or cognitive
load that it is building. And the final thing
I wanna say in this, while deciding on
your main categories, I won't spend too
much time on it because it is going to
sit on the higher level, the desired onto something
and just move on. You'll feel like there is something changes
to be made in the, on the way, on the journey. You can make the changes and adjust your side
according to that. But sitting on it, listing
your entire time, desperate, deciding on your
main categories, be not an efficient way
for you to work on. So that is for now. Let's get to the
next lecture, guys. Thank you.
12. #11 Re Imagining Category Pages: Welcome to this
new lecture, guys. Now we are going to reimagine
category pages a lot. We have already looked
into the category pages, how to create the navigation. We have only scratched
the surface. First. We have looked
into how to set up our navigation site stroke. Now it is time for us to
focus on our category page. Let's go ahead. Now, in this lecture we're
going to learn about, you're going to look into
some typical category pages. And we will learn about how to turning our category pages. I loved it. And then the benefits of
actually creating silo pages. Fun to learn about some
real life examples and some important points about the silo pages and also adding. Let's get ahead and
learn about it. Because the category pages, they are auto-generated
list of her posts. So whenever WordPress and
WordPress does given are doing is a system where you
can create category pages. In this category pages here recites articles that are
related to that category. But we are going to exist
in such a manner that it's just our list of posts. Adding else. I mean, there is
no customization, there is nothing else. It is going to give
a depth of feeling. Or your users are readers doesn't go into
a list of recent posts. In that case. Typically known case
about category pages. Yes, that is true because people are willing to reach
out to your side. Mostly. Loose search are going to
IPO query that they have. They wanted to hit
search results that are going to
appear on the first, Most probably the
first 10 results. They're going to
choose out of them. That is most dominant way
of getting to your posts. People are not going to
simply navigate to your site. Typically, they
might be in cases where people want to
actually go to your side. They want to read it if they're considering suicide
as an expert. But still, they are a fundamental
part of site structure. Although people might
not be coming to your site through the site
structure or a navigation. There would be fundamentally coming through search results. It is still a
fundamental part of your navigation inside
structure and not neglect this. And one important
thing I want to mention here is
previously we have seen examples of ooh seats whose pet moose.com and then variable
in mind family help, bit of a freak.gov. These are just humungous site. They generate traffic about
millions and read about each. But understand this,
all of their traffic is dominant in search.
Search engine results. They're getting most amount
of traffic are about more than 85 percent of
the traffic for each side. The seed from search for it. But still they have maintained their site structure in
such an elegant manner. Because he's a fundamental thing for you to have a
site structure that will owe what kind of error you have taken
into building the site. Nonlinear category pages. And I love this title page
is a customized category B. Which means literally actually minimise to create a silo page. Bu fundamental or
two key elements are grouping content into
loosely related topics. And then internal link only to other content
from the title. But does this mean
whenever they are public? And it didn't that
custom category page have to make sure that
the content grouped into closely related topics like who write about investment and all of
the index fundraisers, custom category, a look
beach or whatever Bob, both that has been published
into x finds it must be only related to index fund and each topic must be
closely related. And I'd be scattered
away, right? Anything other categories
shouldn't be involved in this X1 if you're trying
to make it as SIOP. Next thing is, do not link
out internal linking, not linked to other pages within your site in
different categories. Index fund category is
supposed to be siloed at it. You have to just create
silo pages within that. Had done a link within that Taylor category
itself, not create. And then benefits of
creating silo pages. It will create hyper relevance. The reason being, content is
grouped together closely, loosely using closely
related topics. And then number two
is internal linking two topics and then a linking two articles that are
within the same category. All right, so you have
to understand it. What it will do, it will
create hyper relevance. It is not just simply about building a site
that is going to have pentane to read
across different things. You are creating content
and publishing it and linking to it in a
closely related manner, the relevance is going to
increase, like I haven't said, mentioned in the
earlier lecture, one of the first lectures
about the ABCs of ECO, I have said each
content published app to keep it relevant to
your categories, your niche. And this is going to
increase your authority. And a similar manner here, if you create silo pages, it is going to create
hyper relevance. Alright, I love pages can
actually boost your authority. It will allow blogs with a multiple Lee just to isolate
topic experts, but isn't. If you have multiple
niches like greatest.com, it has multiple niches, but you have to maintain
a certain level of integrity that each category will not link out to
other categories. If you can meet in this level of integrity within each category, it will create multiple
niches within a single site. And it will isolate each topic. That is some expertise
existing within that site. And then number 3, it creates a much better user experience because users will not be thrown away from one
category to another. All right, if I'm reading
the water lifestyle, lifestyle category posts and I want to quickly jump into something about
traveling, right? Because I'm enlarge that. I want to simply jump into traveling and
learning what value. I don't want to simply jump
to construction while reading the post willing donor links,
whatever they're given. If we are creating silo pages, if I'm reading about traveling, I want to stay in
traveling because there is where I'm focused
on at that moment. So if I'm simply
walking on or reading, traveling within that blog and being navigated
across the blog, but not really torn away
from traveling category. This is what creates a much
better user experience. In-depth, resourceful silo
pages can actually rank well. Silo pages, which means
basically saying, I'm going to give you
some examples as well, which we're going
to see in-depth, resourceful pages when
rank well, in the sense, if you can create a silo
page where all the articles which are ideally a
dotted or do I leave. But these, and
which can actually rank well within search results if they're included
an internal link within that silo page, dig the silo page
itself can rank higher. And these are some
real life examples which I'm going to show you now. Here it is. Balanced.com. It
has internal silo beta bag. Let me just go to banking. You can see, instead of
having simply a list of it is having a style of page where our relevant articles or wherever articles
that are important are being in here that
they have ketones. I can check something
and think I would have topics it and put
that particular term. Then I have some ordained. It's better to banking. And they're going to give
us x banking sector. All the articles that
are going to help us in a similar manner,
similar manner, NerdWallet you can see as all the categories district archaea, first adult investing. Now here it is a site that has investment as
a particular one. Popular articles, investment and retirement plan and
Ireland worker review and export. Basics. Though everything about
investment is categorized, link in the syllabus. In this manner, if you
can create a silo page which will help
you to rank well, these silo pages itself
can actually rank high because there is a lot of link juice that
exists within this. I'm going to teach
about later on. But right now I'm telling you Tyler pages can actually improve your site navigation
and actually take your users to certain
page or certain article, a certain area in a much
more easier manner. But understand this, it is
going to make it much easier for you to rank it. I think that is
going to help you. I'm going to give you
some important points. Huike element has to
have a related content, not contingent is about
other categories, has to have related content
and internal linking. You have to meet in these two
key elements when creating silo pages and butt to
showcase your best, most popular, most
profitable condemned, balanced.com in the
balanced.com or NerdWallet.com. They have mentioned there no
case the best, most popular, most profitable, right, which
is really easily shown. So when users come to
this style of pages, they are going to be much
more than cleans her to go to that particular
post which exists on the top or whatever posts that are set up in that side of it. The reason being, we are
making them go do it. If you do not want it, you do not need to create
silo paid your block, right? This is for blogs
that haven't ember of categories are dogs that
have many articles. You're a beginner and you cannot have more
than ten articles, or at least not ten
articles who must be at least having about 50
articles to get at least. But not at this level. No need to create
silo pages erasure. If you're confused. More on and keeping, keep going. Read category pages, even
if it doesn't exist. Both single blog, bead and keep on publishing content until
you reach some threshold, about 50 or 60 pushed. If you reach that level, then think about categories
or pile of pages. Finally, be organized and not maintain a spreadsheet
like I have mentioned earlier. Maintain a spreadsheet and keep all the articles within their categories in
your spreadsheet. Adding, this is,
this will create a proactive initiative
and you'd be much more organized for the what would be much
more effortless. Do not make this easy. Tasks, numbers and
write that in mind. Let's go ahead to
the next lecture. We're going to learn something
incredibly important.
13. #12 How Long Does it take to Rank: Learning, oh long does it take to rank is
incredibly important because people are going to approach blogging with
a lot of expectations. Either barter reaching
a large amount of traffic, gaining exposure, reaching out to the world in
some kind of providing value are even making it as a side income or generating
a passive income. People are going to approach blogging with a lot
of expectations. And you have to set your expectations in
a reasonable manner. You cannot just bought them
when you man something first. Much of her disorder or hand
much of it out of our hands. I have to make sure
that you're being very responsible about it. But let's learn how
long does it take the van. Let's get ahead. And we're going to learn
about managing garden. And we're going, we're also going to
look into a headdress, a study based on
some data domains, each domain authority
is executed. Seo is very different
from clickbait. You can create a
clickbait article writer, clickbait title, or an image. This is pretty much useful in
social media because people would be getting your image
written as Scrollspy. And something that might be given an impression
like a clickbait, people might come
visit your site. Reason being, it is something creator,
creating an interest. Raising this had been curiosity. So clickbait are usually usually put work on
social media or YouTube. And SEO is completely different. Reason being asked to
give a certain order d, expertise, have to build some trust with the
Google and the users. And then even then
you have to publish content that is that is going to be credible and
go to source and are just expect whatever
your post title. Like a good debate and expected
to rank because Google will now lies or your entire going to evaluate content was all the contents in that category, in that topic. Now that it will estimate really should be ranking, Right? The SEO is really different from Iraq getting success within the first month. I'm
going to happen. The CEO is going
to happen what an old building trust from Google, this is incredibly embark on. Important thing is, Google is not a person sitting
on the other island. But mostly, I mean, there are some search
quality evaluators. We're going to get
your feedback. Mostly it is just an algorithm. I'm too good results
for any search query. Establishing and building
trust with Google is incredibly well around this. You have the soil, Google that you are an
expert and already you can actually gain a lot of
value from your content. You are satisfying user intent, whatever the user is
trying to look for. If you're answering that
particular topic right on spot, you would be getting
these hand amount of cash from Google. Wide range of aspects
that Playfair ranking. Yes. There are a
number of issues and number of things that are
going to affect your ranking. But and work around it, walk around few of the things that are going to
help you in ranking. So don't worry about
what are the things that are going to
visit a ranking, but focus on things that are
going through your ranking. You have recite and
niche is different than I've just read about somebody else's and
expect it to happen. You, although you can get, a body can earn and you can
implement those strategies. But even Nietzsche
is going to be different. Like a car repair. Nietzsche is going
to be a little bit easier when it compared to enhance personal finance. Our fitness need healthy. So depending on the needs, it is going to be different at every site and every
niche or different. It hedgerows do the study, they studied on bu
million keyword. There studied on 2
million keywords. If the result they have seen is stopped and ranking pages
are at least two years on. Your domain. Has to
be not just him, but the Pij is that you have published at least
two years old. Get into top then ranking. Help then ranking
pages within one year of OPT and ranking one-year
for a teaspoon, one keyword. I point, if you can
fall under this, 5.7% are 22 percent. It is just a great thing, but you have to always consider the worst-case
scenario as well. Had just blindly go with the best-case
scenario all short of it and feel it will grade, it will dreadful because you
have established a strategy. There's your pages to
make history are sold, but making some tweaks
and adjustments, you can fall under this
22 percent or by 0.7%. But this one important thing is to publish content that
is closely related and highly relevant and maintain the internal linking
much more appropriately. If you can target the right
keywords, right topics, it would be incredibly easy
for you to rank in the top then for the two years before the first year
or within a few months. Reason being, depending on
what you're trying to target, is going to decide what
rankings you are going to have. We will look at more
competitive keywords. It is going to be
notably for you to rank. But if you go up the
long-tail keywords, it might be reasonably
easy for you. I'm going to teach. You were researching
online lecture, domain age, Google News priority to older
established site. There is a contender around us. And opic, the two sides, one from a burst Published
site and ableist. Older site. Woman will do priority
to establish Was it has more crust on those sites
over the newer site. Baby sites that are written
within 0 to six months, will it take longer time to
ramp isn't being most of the sites that are
created actually expire. Or people won't be being an
active after this period. But Google won't take
decide seriously. Usually if you can
continue these efforts, you What about 18 to 24 months, you would reach
high SEO potential. At the same time, you can
accelerate your progress, increase the amount
of time period by increasing your backing. If you can increase
this backlinks. And remember this has
to be high in quality. I in quantity. If you can acquire
backing to tie in quality and quantity, it would be for you to reach higher seal potential within a shorter amount of time
as and then 18 to 24. And then managing expectations. Links are one of the
most important factor for hide from content
is the king, right? You'll gain 100
quality backlinks on the wooden beginning with
low or poor quality content. People are only going to link to your content if it's valuable. Be useful, right? But at the same time, you'll just simply
publisher content. Don't expect you
to rank so soon. My bank, if you do not in top, then you had to get some links, bitumen more and better links. Esto es item that has as well. And can these within
your hand like to build relationships so that you would get links
at easier manner. And you can drank with low DA, thus require longer and
better contact? Yes. Beca have that earlier. Low DA sites connect to outrank hydroxide or long-tail keywords. This requires you to focus
on the right target keyword. If you can publish longer
and better content on it. This way you can actual
outrank hydroxides or long-tail keywords. And make sure that
the user can actually postures if you are
giving a fee lifespan. But if your design, and then they are trying to indicate with a year scientists of these things have
to be the Google ended and decide to your track. Users giving up. I mean, people are going
to distrust you. These all in mind. I designed expectations are in a time period which
are going to help you understand how much time it is going to take the rank
and how much effort is. Thank you very much guys.
Let's get to the next lesson.
14. #13 Creating Optimal Homepage Design: Hello guys. Now we're going to learn about how to design an
optimal homepage. An optimal homepage is
incredibly important. To make sure that you
display your authority. Have a sense of
understanding to your users. And at the same time
giving your users appeal. That is going to last. Understand this. Homepages are like an introduction
advertisement to a brand. The very first time you come up, you come across our user. You want to make an impact. You want to make sure
that day remember you. In a similar manner, our homepage is going to be like a display for
your entire site. So designing a homepage
there is going to stand out at the same time, will be relevant and appropriate
is incredibly important. I'm not trying to read
restructured the design elements. I'm not going to
tell you about how to design in such a
manner that is going to make a unique no, because you have to be relevant. You have to be able to
relate to other websites. The reason being, you
don't want people to increase their
cognitive layer Lord, while coming to your site. You want to reduce the friction, want to reduce the
cognitive load. But you have to do it in
such a manner that is going to that is going to be
affected to you as well. So today we're going
to look into that. Our outline for this class is why is optimal
homepage necessary? And ultimately going
to learn about something called link juice. And then we're going
to learn about keeping our homepage
with minimal links. Then we have to link the
most valuable content. But these three are the outlines that we're
going to look into. Why is an optimal homepage
design and necessary. Your blog has a certain amount of authority based on links. And remember this,
I have already educated you about
domain authority. And backlinks are
one of the factors or your domain authority
of their content. And other important factors. As we have established, backlinks is one of them. And backlinks is one of the huge factor for
your domain authority. Why? Because it simply displace or gives Google and understanding
that other websites, other people within
your industry question. Alright? But this trust in place, an incredible level of dominance, written
online industry. Trusting someone is
incredibly important. And when you actually can
build that level of trust, the more number of
links you have, the more amount of
trust you have. And understand this. Again, it is not just simply
getting links. You have to get quality links, links that are high
in quality and the high-end quality links held to have to be high in quantity, which means you have to get more amount of
high-quality links. So that is incredibly important for you
to build authority. And mostly anybody tends to link to your homepage because that is the common
page people linked to. Although we're, if
people are trying to use one of your
articles as a source, as a resource or something want to cite within their own
blog post or article. That is when they are going
to use your articles. If not, they are going to use your homepage as the go-to
link within their site. So your own homepage will
have most authority. Your blog homepage or your website homepage will tend to have most
amount of authority. You have to make sure
that you're trying to use this within your site right? Now, internal
linking is a way of passing the link juice
throughout your site. You have to utilize this link juice that is
acquired on your homepage. And also at the same time, make sure that it
passes along with your blog posts or articles, but that it will build
a certain amount of authority within
other pages as well. Most people won't
be using this kind of mattered because either
they are not aware of it, they are not knowledgeable
about this kind of technique or
detrital, neglected. But this kind of internal
linking is incredibly useful if you're
building a site. And bigness can actually take advantage of this
technique tremendously. Because in the initial stages, building backlinks is going
to be incredibly hard. You have to take advantage
of those few links in the earliest stages that
you have built the past, did authority do on other sites? And then also try to. I will give you an
example of this. There are two types of
authorities that exist. One is domain authority and
the other is page ID RD. Domain authority sits at the top of your blog
or your website. And page authority,
something that you're, each individual pages possess. So it might look like
two different things, but they are internally related. So your domain authority can be an actually ease or might be determined by
the page authority of your individual pages. For all those pages will contribute to your
domain authority. So keeping your homepage with minimal links will
allow you to pass that page authority
or domain authority are what we can call
as the link juice. Under those most
important pages or posts. Whenever you're trying
to build a house. One key factor or one key thing is bringing bricks, right? You using bigs, you cannot build a house without
breaks in a similar manner. Whenever you're trying
to build a homepage, you have to bring on contained. An empty homepage is not something any user
wants to go to. The end. It is definitely
not something you want to display to your users. All right? Unless you're Google, because
it is probably one of those sites that
doesn't need to have any content on its homepage. Even Yahoo has some kind
of condition, but Google, all it needs is a
search bar alloy tabs. On the top right corner. It provides apps and has some access to Gmail
and other things. But just giving an example, if you are keeping a blog,
roll it in your homepage, you have to keep your
most important posts in the homepage by
making them sticky. Making them stickies
would best feature. So keeping blog role
in your homepage is about most of the
times people tend to, instead of designing
a homepage and you start designing
an optimal homepage, they will try to simply
put a blog roll. A blog roll is
nothing but a list of a reason Post published
on your site. And this is not the optimal
way of designing your site. Uh, making your blogs Tiki is
actually incredibly useful. I'm not saying I'm making
an entire block sticky because dad is not the
kind of feature any size, any site or any
platform provides. But you can make your
individual posts sticky. I actually have an example. I'm going to show you this
at the end of this lecture. But you have to link two
most valuable content. But how do you determine what is most valuable
content to your site? Again, it differs
from site to site. It differs, differs
from what are the goals the site owner has. It differs from
industry to industry. Some industries tend to
make more affiliate sales. In some industries tend to
get more email sign-ups. And also some industries tend to get more amount of traffic. Alright? So it differs. It has a lot of variable factors
and it has a lot of moving parts that
are going to be, there are going to make sure our determine what is your
most valuable content. You will be having much more knowledge on
this rather than me. Because you're the one
sitting in your industry. So what is the target
that you're find a cheap, it is going to differ
from what I have. And what do you have. So try to have that
kind of knowledge. Of course, I don't need
to tell you what is the most valuable content
within your blog. So if I, if I'm focusing
on making affiliate sales, I will get big and beekeeping
articles that are having that have already made
a quite good amount of affiliate sales
within my blog. And I'll pick those posts
to link within my homepage. Why? Because that will be something my users who would be going for. I will try to gain
this kind of value. If I'm trying to
get more traffic, I will put on something. I'll put an article that has already got a
lot of traffic, are already has a
lot of authority. And then try to link internal link that article
within my website homepage. And these are some incredibly important
things designing homepage. So you are linking
two categories. Designing homepage,
linking categories. What I would be telling
you here is adding pages are also something
that we're rank high. Why? Because sometimes silo pages
tend to link her rank high. Titer pages can also be loosely
call this category pages, which we have already touched
on within our course. So use your category pages
within your homepage. Why? Because the link dues will be passing on to another levels. Your category pages itself has a lot of other articles
within that category, which is a great way
to pass on that. Link juice. Consider CO plus
user experience. Well, do not build a site with the sole intention of satisfying the
Google algorithm. That will be the most mechanical
way to build something. And it is not the kind of way any user wants to
interact with your site. Findable, decide that won't be good with human interaction. It's not a site that
people want to go for. Like I had said, your site shouldn't be putting on
lot of cognitive load. If you go across any
side within the world, most probably 99% of sites will have the same kind of user login is a
registration templates. They will probably asking those
same kind of information. And they will be
having the same way of navigating to login or sign
up within their website. The reason being any industry or any company or
any site owner. They don't want to put
more cognitive load while you are trying to just interact with your
site initially. The reason because whenever there is more
amount of friction, people tend to move
away from that. They don't want to put lot of affording just trying
to access your content. And that is not the kind of opinion you want to
give to your users. You have to build a side that
is created user experience. If you just neglect this point, you are building a site that
is just targeting itself. But destruction. You might change. That is
a really strong statement. But understand this. You are building a
site that is going to be incredibly a SEO optimized. A really good optimal
homepage, great navigation, that everything fits
the Google algorithm, but it simply causes
a check-in homepage, a break-in nav, user experience. There is no use of it. The reason being, ultimately
you're trying to interact with your customers,
consumers, or users. You have to make sure that
you're satisfying them. So build aside that
is going to take the SEO and user
experience into account. While I have already mentioned, I'm going to reiterate
the most important thing. Your most valuable
content will differ from Site-to-Site by owner to
owner, industry to industry. And it is definitely going to differ from niche to Nietzche. Some sides tend to drive
more affiliate sales. Some sites tend to drive
more email list building. Some types tend to
have more amount of traffic to you have to make
sure whatever that is, your most valuable content, depending on your goals,
aims are targets. If all you want to have is an authority that
anybody who wants to compare site for anybody
that is trying to, any user within your
neat has to come to you. Your focus ultimately
will be trying to drive traffic or rank high
using your content. If you have certain goal
about making affiliate sales, then your target will be driving traffic to your affiliate
product incorporated pages. So sometimes it will
be good at I'm in some industries tend to have increased the
amount of trust. Then other industries,
for example, selling something like
finance related products is going to be incredibly tough. The reason being, people are going to be
judgmental about it. People are going to ask a
lot of questions that if you don't answer or if your answer seems spammy or scammed me, they're going to
totally rule you out. The reason being, people
are extremely precautious about what they're paying
for within finance industry. In some other industries like digital technologies or
fitness related products, people are going to
invest much more deliberate, deliberately. Read, people are going to
invest with much more liberty. We have to be very cautious and also very
strategic about the way you are trying to determine what is your most valuable content and using that won't
most valuable content. And your category pages
within your site is going to incredibly drive great
amount of authority. So today the action
steps would be identifying the most
profitable posts on your site. So don't just guess
work on this point. The reason I'm stressing this is because in your
early stages it is going to be this technique will have a greater
effect on your site. But tried to take
advantage of this, you won't be having
a lot of backings. And actually building
a lot of backlinks at the earliest ages is going
to be incredibly tough. At the same time, people are going to be suspicious
about giving backings to you because you have just started and your domain
authority is too low and your
relationships are not going to be established
quite early. Here, have to use whatever
links that are pointed towards your side in an effective
and efficient manner. But this technique will work and it is very
effective and useful. And it also consider
redesigning your homepage to feature these most
valuable posts, most profitable posts, along
with your category pages. So these are the action
steps that you must take. Well, I'm going to
give you an example, like I had mentioned
earlier within this lecture that how to make some posts in your blog sticky by using the
word best feature. The LED to look into that. But take a look at this block. This is one of my blog. Here. You can see October 31. This is the date
this post has been published in October fold
this post published. But these are in
chronological order, right? But this is how a
blog role will be. The list of recent posts and in the order of
latest, too old list. But if you scroll down
again to November 21, actually disposed must be at the top right. The number 14. Number 7, October
2005, about 23. So you can understand here, these are in
chronological order, but there are two posts that are differing
from the others. But because I have
made them sticky, let's go into my dashboard. I blog posts dashboard. So you can see this
is given as sticky. And another article here
is given as sticky. I have made these two
posts as Tiki for that day would be at the
top of this blog roll, no matter what post
whenever I'm publishing. So how do you make
this post sticky? Open Quick Edit and
select this part. Make this post sticky. Brand saved this, the post that is sitting
at the top here. It would go away and go into
the chronological order. But that I'm not
going to do because I want that poster stayed there. Alright, this is one of the
ways you can make sure that your most valuable
posts are sitting at the right spot on the
top of your homepage. A few actually got a homepage
design you want to do. Like I mentioned,
figure out what are the most profitable posts
that you want to go after and then use
them along with your category pages
within your site. Thank you very much guys. Let's get into the next lecture.
15. #14 Introduction to Keyword Research: Welcome back guys. Now we're going to learn
about keyword research. This is the most
fundamental building block for your blog content. Understand this. A blog is simply a
collection of content pages, collection of blog
posts or articles. And depending on how you
do your keyword research, where you rank, how you rank, and how much people are
going to be able to see you. And for how many
keywords you're going to rank is going to be determined. To make sure you
understand this. If you screw up this
part of your process, you will be left
out with a lot of frustration and nothing
else. That's it. Keyword research is the most
fundamental building block for content online. So let's dive deep and
understand about this. So the topics we're going
to look today are one, keyword research can
make or break you. And then the word relevance. And then choosing keywords
which can make money from you. Sorry, which you can
make money from it. Well, actually, do people
search for that keyword? And finally, when you
rank for that keyword, these things are
critically important. And we're going to do, we're going to learn about them, understand them, and see them. So let's get ahead. First of all, keyword research
can make or break you. Good and proper keyword research is equal to targeted
traffic to your blog. Like I have said, keyword research is deemed most fundamental concept
for your blogging process. Keyword are nothing
but search terms, something that
people generally use within a Google search bar
to find out about something. For example, if
you want to learn about how to do crunches, you would simply
go ahead and learn about our to-do app crunches. You would go to Google, type in how to do AB crunches. And then you go ahead
with the content that is, search results that
are displayed to you. In this process. Whatever term, whatever statement, whatever
word you have, type into. Google search bar is simply the keyword
we're looking here. And how can we know what
people are searching for? He has done data because most probably people are going to search for something
in a similar manner. Well, the language might change, but most probably the tone
and the keyword will be same. So to find out how to rank for those keywords
and generate traffic, you have to perform a good
and proper keyword research. You have to implement a proper keyword research
strategies. Why? Because then you
will be able to dr, targeted traffic to your blog. That can make you money. Well, not just money. Like I have said, people
have different targets, different goals based on their own agendas. Like some people just
want to be adored 80. Some people want to, again, a lot of exposure. And people want to
be authority to end. Some people want to earn
a lot of passive income. So depending on
whatever your goal is, you can achieve that based on the keyword research
that you implement. A bad keyword research is called a lot of wasted time
and frustration. So let's understand
this process. You would pick a keyword and you would write content for it, which is great delayed. Take a lot of time. Our research and writing, initial
raft editing. And then editing again. If you have a process
of AB testing, then it would be like
Dad and then publishing. So that's a lot of wasted
time and energy and effort. And finally, after a few months, you'd be seeing your posts, getting in your blog, doing nothing,
ranking for nothing, nobody coming to it. It is eventually going to leave a lot of frustration
in your mind. So you have to adjust each and every single
step within this process. And the fundamental part
is keyword research. And also keyword research is the foundation for building
your blog with great content. Like I have said, it
is the foundation. It depends whether you
build your house on sand or on a rock. That type of keyword research that you put into
practice is going to determine what kind of blog
you'll want to build, right? Most of the times people will
be choosing topics out of the gut instinct or something
they might feel it. Now, you cannot just simply
choose topics out of debt. You have to base your strategy
on some kind of data. Why? Because we are trying
to target somebody know, we're going to target multitude. We're going to target a
traffic that are going to come to online within agenda with
a problem, with a question. You cannot simply based on
your gut instinct, right? To understand the data, what people have
already searched for. He would relevance. So cannot just click
target keywords that are spread across
different categories or niches. You have to target keywords that are closely related
to your niche. Right? So understand this. You have to be targeted
in our existing broad and art exist within no focus. That is not the kind of
idea or a protein mistake. You have to target
your keywords. And for example, if
you are in investing, niche investing industry and your Nietzsche's
index fund investing, you have to target
keywords that are related to index fund investing. But not simply just swaying away from
index fund investing because your traffic is targeted on that
particular niche. And all the keywords
that you are using must be focused on that. And create content cluster by targeting on job
related keywords. So here, one of the
important thing is you have to create content clusters. Understand that term. A content cluster Targeting
bunch of related keywords. You have to not just
simply publishing post, but create content in such a manner that is
a hub that people, whenever they want to know
about a certain topic, you must be the go-to source. They must have an idea that this blood will contain everything that is
related to this topic. And I'm going to just approach them for any question I have. When you can present
yourself in this manner, when your customers or users can perceive
you in this way. It is just an int, is just a great user experience. And one of the
best ways to build crust authority and
expertise within online. Building trust is incredibly
tough and important. So tried to build
content clusters, but targeting bunch
of related keywords. Now also, be intentional with what you publish
on your blog. Do not be agile about this. Every single post
to publish has to be targeted as to be
related to your niche, has to have a keyword
that you're focusing on. Be intentional with what
you publish on your blog. This is something
incredibly important. And he would release relevance. First of all, targeting the
right keywords is important. And making sure that the dose keywords which
are trying to target our relevant within a
particular niche is second important thing. Alright? These two things
have to go hand in hand. And then questions arise. Because how do you
choose a keyword? And how do you make sure that this keyword is actually useful? There are some questions
you must answer. Why? Because those questions
are related to your goals. What are you trying to achieve
by posting an article? What are you trying to
achieve with this blog? And that single focal point will determine everything within
your journey of blogging. The number one is, can you make money from it? This is not the most important
thing for everybody. Some people are not focused on earning income
through their blog, but most of them are. So there is a reason. One of the first questions
we are presenting here, elites and you make
money from it. You want traffic
that is targeted. So targeted in the
sense somebody you're trying to drive to
your site consistently. Remember the term consistently, not just bringing them
and leaving them. You have to make sure that you are sticking your
users with your site. That is what targeted is about. And then you need to think your keywords in terms
of monetization, like after publishing
the site article, after publishing an article
on a particular keyword, William me, will you be able to monetize it like display ads, affiliate offers
like email list, because display ads are
one type of income, email list is another type of output you can
generate for your site. Affiliate offers are
another kind of income. So each of them have
their own kind of uses. Use, each of them
have their own value. But what are you
trying to look for? What are the IPE of monetization you're
trying to achieve? You need to think about
keywords in this way. And then target keyword. Like for example
here, a pull up bar. A pull-up bar is an example of a target keyword within
the fitness industry. In each, you can use this
keyword to sell a pull up bar. Review about a pull up bar. Or you can just simply write
an article about pullets, comprehensive, long epic
content about pull-ups. And you can just blend in this pull-up bar within that
article as an affiliate. Right? So that is a keyword which you can target and get
traffic from different ways. So lumbar is a target keyword. When you look for
non-target keywords. An example is baby names. Baby names is not something
you can use to monetize, drive any affiliate offers because there is no kind of
product that you can sell it. This target keyword
as baby names, are. There are not a lot of people
that would be searching for baby names online insistently. So choosing the right
target keyword, incredibly important for
your article success. Understand this. Again. Your blog is a collection
of articles and your articles and
the ones which are going to drive
traffic to your site. That totally depends on
keywords because people are not going to come to your
site initially or anyway. Because they are looking for
a solution for something. They're trying to
search for something. Unless you fall
into that category. Unless you fall into the search results within
that particular keyword, there is no way people
can discover u. So that is the reason we are
trying to understand a CEO. That is the reason why are, why we are trying to establish
a proper keyword strategy. It that in mind, always try to ask
questions about whether this particular action will result in a successful
result of your outcome. Do people search
for your keyword? If known searches
for your keyword, you are ranking who caves. Like I have said earlier, your article has to fall into the particular keyword that
your users are searching for. It cannot just simply
write an article and expected to rank without actually having a strategy
at first place, right? He had to make sure that your articles are
actually ranking well. Your radicals are actually
what people are searching for. Simply choosing topics out of gut instinct as not going
to be helpful at all. Tried to choose keywords that your people are searching for refueled within
fitness industry. And you are writing articles for someone who wants
to build a nice biceps, big biceps, huge biceps. You have to write articles based on what your users
are searching for, RI to find out the
keywords that people are, people are actually
searching for it. We turn that simply writing an article will not be useful. If you have a great
blog post or article. For some keywords
that's known as searching for what
is the use of it? What is the use of ranking for keywords that no
one searches for? Ultimately, it is our goal
to get recognized by search. That is the one we
are cried a TV are. And then try to
focus on keywords, about 100 plus
searches per month. Grid search volume
we tendered plus or goals with the affiliate
contained an email sign-ups. Why? Because these are going
to be a targeted traffic. These are going to be someone
focused on your blog. And red plus search volume for affiliate content
and email sign-ups. If you're trying to
rank for content with AD based
monetization strategy. Target keywords with or at
least 1000 plus search volume, affiliate content,
email sign-ups. You can target less
search volume keywords. But app-based content you have to look for high search volume. The reason being,
at best content is paid for with the RPM, which means rate per mile
or about 1000 visitors. So although it is Penzu, although it is something
you might not need to do more than a setup
for your site. You need more traffic for
app-based monetization. But try to look for
1000 searches per month or keywords
you can rank for. And by the way, these are
only basic guidelines. These are not just
industry search terms. Industry guidelines that
you have to follow. It is totally free
for your needs, your site and your industry. These are just basic guidelines that you have to
experiment with. What works, practice, what
works for your site, right? Understand your site strategy, site metrics, and
then go from there. One of the tools is
Keywords Everywhere. It is a Chrome extension
you can use to find out the impact of a keyword, the search volume of a keyword. How keyword, how
keywords volume are actually affecting going
through time to time, what is the trend of it? It can determine by this. And then can you
rank for a keyword? If you pick keywords
that are too difficult, you will never rank. Understand this, high
search volume keywords are already ranked by
authority to domains. Find outrank them is just
not a good strategy. The reason being, you are
a urine initial blogger, you are in your initial
stages, back nearly stages. You don't want to
compete with them. A veteran blog, darling
as a baby boomer, right? You have to take time.
Focus on domains that are ranking for keywords like having domain authority about 30 plus within your initial stages, like the reason being, those are the keywords
you can go after. Those are the ones
who can outrank with a domain authority are both
0 to five or 10 or 20. And outranking for domain
authority is of AD plus 90 plus is just
not a good strategy. Pick your battles, try to
pick keywords that are who. They're easier for you to rank. Before you try to
target any keyword. Tick search engine results page to see who else is ranking. If you see any domain
within your reach, then go for it because you
can possibly outrank them. But if your search term or your keyword that you're
trying to target is totally dominated by high
authority to domains. It is probably not a good
idea for you to go after it. Although you can still try
to achieve good results with for that keyword. If you write targeted content, if you're the high domain
authority to pages ranking for that
particular search term or not having content. That is, what do
we say targeted, which means not completely focused on that
particular keyword, then you might have a
good, a good enough chance to outrank them. But our main focus has to be on trying to outrank sites with
similarity as your own. If you haven't the minority of 10 by to compete with authority
of two domains about 30, 35, or below that, because that is
within your reach, you can have a great amount
of progress in that way. Competitiveness of a keyword, it actually depends largely
on your own authority. For example, if you take weight
loss as a target keyword, it would be incredibly
difficult for you. That is highly
competitive keyword. But the sites that exist within 80 or 90
plus domain at RD. Those sites can actually
compete for that keyword, even the human art, because relatively your domain
authority is much less, far less when compared to them. That competitiveness largely depends on
your own or other day. And be harnessed. Be clear. Don't do any kind of
shady analysis and expect to read some
kind of good results. Seo is not an overnight success. You have to make sure that you are
putting right strategy, right analysis had place. So with these in mind, now, you have good
enough knowledge on whether which category keywords, what kind of keywords to choose, and whether to go
after them or not. It that in mind, let's
get to the next lecture. Thank you very much guys.
16. #15 Competitor Keyword Research vs Traditional KW Research: I'm Peter del keyword research versus traditional
keyword research. Guys. Didn't know we have
been introduced with the idea of
keyword research. But now we're going to
devise a strategy, right? We are going to
devise a strategy. There is going to help
us boost our progress. Have you ever heard
the saying of Do not reinvent the wheel? I manufacturers within
the world are not trying to reinvent the wheel every time they are trying
to start something. People have been, people have been rendered the
real centuries, centuries ago,
thousands of years ago. Alright? And you have to pick
dead as an example. And you have to build
on top of that. If you keep
reinventing the wheel, when are you going to
reap the benefits of at granting something
that's already been done. You have to learn from
what is already done. And you have critique,
new approach, you have critique,
smarter approaches. And that's what is
competitor keyword research. Let's understand what is
traditional keyword research, how it is done, what are
the downfalls of it? And how competitive
keyword research can help us achieve more than this
traditional keyword research. And how to do competitor
keyword research. Let's get ahead. But these are the things
that we're going to look. How most people do
keyword research. Looking at what is
already successful, and then using the
same ingredient, but creating a unique response. Let's learn about it. Most people would
be brainstorming a bunch of topics,
then try to look. Then in Keyword Tool, this is probably not
a good idea because brainstorming topics is like pulling things out of
your gut instinct. Are writing down. Ideas are topics which
you have come across, which you have already known. And that leaves, leaves us with the whole of water users
looking forward and back, I have mentioned in
the earlier lecture, can you rank for it and
you make money from it and you can drive
traffic for it. These questions
will be lost out. Reason being, you're pulling
keywords and topics out of your gut instinct and out of something that
you already know. Brainstorming doesn't work. It is a long and tiring process that does not yield results. So well. One of the important
things to understand here is you might see a couple of good ideas out of a lot of ideas in
brainstorming as well. And think of it as you have come up with such
tremendous strategy. Now. No, because if there is
no strategy at grants and more than that in world and nobody is actually having a
better strategy than that, then you might be right. But people are actually using much more smarter approaches
to keyword research. And if you are
still brainstorming about what you want to write, you're going to fall back. Because it is insanely competitive in the
Online Industries. In any case study or for
industry in any area in each, it is insanely competitive
and simply relying on brainstorming is not
a good strategy, is a long and tiring
process that will not result in anything
but frustration. It is like walking
blind with no guidance. All right. When you're walking blind, just as Jim, how we
would be walking, you would just trying
to stretch out your hands in front of you
and Frederick tap things, whether to find out whether if there is any
obstacle in front of you and trying to feel it and get an understanding
of what it is. And then avoiding hitting
it and moving out of the hat is not the kind of approach you can
take an online industry. You have to be SU, the robot, what you are doing, you
have to be very strategic. You have to be very
committed about it. So this is how most people would be doing keyword research. Now, looking at what
is already successful. Much easier and better to
see what is already ranking, then compete with it. You have to make sure that
whatever you are doing, it has to reach some
kind of benefit for you. Much easier and much
better to see what is already ranking and
then compete we did. Rather than creating a keyword then letting people
drive traffic to it. That is not the kind
of approach you can take because you're supposed to tap into the
potential traffic of keywords that exist
within your niche. The ones that you can
make money from it. And you make the one step can you actually use to
drive traffic to it? And the ones that you can
actually rank for it. You cannot simply expect
people to come to your blog or a website without actually trying
to provide value to them. Businesses do this all the time. Do not start from 0, like I have mentioned at the
beginning of this lecture, Do not reinvent the wheel. Try to learn about what your competitors
have already done, how they have
written their stage. Understand it, read about it. What are the mistakes
they have made? What are the adjustments
they have made? What are the successful
strategies they have implemented? What kind of approach
they have devised? You have to have a
complete knowledge about our competitors and then get an understanding of what you are
trying to achieve. Whether what they
have done would be useful for you or not. Whether what they
have done would be actually detrimental
to your progress. By to get an understanding about everything that
you're trying to do. And understand this. If your competitor can
rank for some keyword, you can rank for it as well. It just depends on what
your competitor is, who you are considering
your combinator to be, and what are you
trying to target. And finally, your level of expertise and the way you are trying to poke
provide value. If your competitor ranking
can rank for a keyword, you can rank for it as well. So I'm going to give a complete step-by-step
process in the next few lessons about how to do competitor
keyword research. How to go about finding
keywords that are going to help you find success pretty quickly. But right now, let's
get to the next part. Same ingredients, unique recipe. Do not recreate
unique ingredients, used them to create
a unique recipe. If you see any kind of looking videos on YouTube
or cooking shows, contests, nobody is trying to
create a ingredient, right? Nobody's tried to
create an ingredient. Nobody has tried to create
a unique ingredient, but they're trying to create a unique recipe by using the ingredients that
have been provided to them. Do you have to understand this is the kind of
opportunity to take? Is the same principle, is the same principle
or keyword research. Find out what is
already working, then add your unique touch
to look at your competitors. What are the keywords
they're ranking for it? And you rank for those keywords. And what are the keywords
that they're missing to rank for and who else
is ranking for them? And can you consider
them as competitors? And can you actually rank for those keywords and
outrank those? You have to find out
what is already working, then add your
unique touch to it. But how do you add your
unique to each street? Perspective, your
knowledge, your experience, your writing style, combine all of these is going
to be a unique recipe. Alright? So if you want to
write about weight loss, you're not going to invent
a new way. Definitely not. Unless you are a scientist or a medical professional
or somebody. You're not going to create a new RNA MBA or
invent a new strategy. You're going to educate people through your blog
or your channel. Bye. Telling them what word
is already working. That is, when your
knowledge comes in. How much you know, your perspective and the way you
perceive things as also going to be important because
this is going to touch internally for your
users, your experience. This is going to build some
kind of clustered you. If you are someone
who's learned about something just today and
find, educate people, that is not the right
way to do it and that is definitely not called
as experienced. And then you're writing style. The way you write your TV, the way you write your content, has to have a professional touch and a personal touch as well. A communication style
to be one-on-one, like you are having a
conversation with someone. This will, this will
bring more engagement. And combining all
of this is what is going to be your unique recipe. In the next lecture,
we're going to learn about who are our competitors, how to find out keywords
or to go after something. We're going to see some results. Let's go ahead and
learn about it. Thank you very much guys.
17. #16 - Brainstorming Initial Competitors: Hello guys. Now we're going to learn about determining our competitors. Understanding who
our competitors are. And we're going to go through an extensive practical
approach about analyzing what other
competitors we can look after. You can retarget, AKA have mentioned earlier in
the previous lectures. If you're in a, if you
are an initial blogger, you have to focus on
competitors that are about having domain authority
of 30 or 35 below it. So let's get ahead and learn about our competitor analysis. So initially we would be looking for a lot of things like, what is the important thing
that we need to look for? And how do we determine
which uses can we go after? Which competitors
can we go after? And it will be an
incredibly tough thing to figure out who would
be right one for us. But there is a way to do it. We can actually figure out
who our competitors, her, who can be our competitors
decided is actually drawn out from SEO Master Mike Pearson, but credit goes to him. But like I said, it's
about learning from other people where
you can actually be smart and proceed much far. Proceed much better way. But let's go ahead
and learn about it. Very first thing is
targeting your niche. You can only find your
competitors when you have drilled down your needs. You cannot just compete
with everybody. You have to have a natural
process of finding your niche, which neat you are going to try. And we're going to use
Uber's suggest as a tool. This is going to
act as our guiding, our good analytical tool because they have a lot of
insight and lot of data for us which we used to simply determined what
we can do our competitors, what our competitors
are ranking for, what are they trying? How are they cheering?
A lot of traffic. There is a lot of
data that we can gain from this Uber suggest,
which is a free tool. By the way. This is a free tool
which you can use to which you can use two to seven days? Yes, for determining what
your competitors are. However, the keyword data, the top pages that
are good traffic data backlinks data
about seven days. You can use the free
keyword, free SEO tool. So let's go ahead
and learn about it. As we are within
this SEO journey. We can simply but let's get
ahead, return our work. The very first thing is we
need to build on our topic. Right now. I'm looking for calisthenics
as my target niche. And I will be going into
incognito and searching for my keyword, which
is calisthenics. But there are some
ways to do it. One of them is just looking for blogs which are already
ranking for calisthenics. Logs which are listed
as one of the best go-to sources or calisthenics. And that would do a good
idea about who to go after. Who should we consider as competitors who are
existing within our niche? Because initially
you might not have any idea about who is
existing within Ernie's, who are our competitors hurt? You look for like this
best calisthenics blog. You would get a list of blog articles with the list of best calisthenics
blogs and websites. And also blogs that
are individual sites, which we can consider them as. What do we say? Go do sources. Here. You can actually look
for the competing domains. Well, when I have
inserted my URL, it was giving a lot
of competitors. While right now I'm not going
to simply go after using my URL because initially if
you are a domain at 3000, are not really having
any contained, finding out your competitors
would be incredibly high. So what I would do is
install this extension. Dubos suggest I would
be enabling this item. And you can see here, I have it in my
Chrome extensions. And Benno, let me just activated for Pirate tabs because I
have my results and private. Yeah, it is allowed in private
that we are good to go. But I have come here. I will be just clicking on it. Now I should get
insights on data about, yeah, here we are getting, but what we have search, our search engine
results, analytical data. So here is our data. Here it is. This post has about you visits
are not so many visits. Domain authority of 82, 66. They explore a lot. Now the main adult
it is so high, you can see the first
article is about a group of poor blogs and the
second one as well. And the third one is actually having domain authority of tall, it is an individual site. And then later on it
is having 14 2011. These are domain
authorities which I can go after if you unify, have domain authority of 0. On domains, have authority score of less than 35 is a good start. Which is what I'm going after, which is what these blogs
are having right now as domain authority
of less than 35. So I'll be taking this blog. I'll be copying this one. This will be my first. Alice. Cynics family.com would
be my first competitor. And in a similar way, if you look for any
other kind of neat like best gardening blogs, you will be getting
the similar kind of results and you'll be picking out anything that
is related to your own. It would seem, seem
as competitors. And then if you look for
best index fund investing, it would be the same way. Finally, got competitors. Initially, just
brainstorming for them would be working well. Although brainstorming is
not the effective way, initially when you have
nothing in your hand, it is something good to go. Is something. If you have something you
can make it out of some, you can use it to
make something. Right now I have determined you are at least only
a one competitor, at least I have someone
to compete with, right? That is the stage
where I am right now. I'd be closing this. And what I can do is, or what you should be
doing at least fill out at least 10 competitors
you can go after. That is a good start. Having 10, 15, or 20 competitors would give you enough analytical
data about your niche. Have to give good enough Hema, good knowledge about what are the things we
should be doing and what keywords we
should be focusing on in the initial
stages of your blog. So you would see good
amount of results. But try to brainstorm about 15, are at least 10 competitors. That is a good start. After you have found our
two competitors indices by brainstorming your
initial competitors. But don't be bothered about
what you're trying to achieve by using this calisthenics family.com generated
by competing domains. Let me just grab this
calisthenics family.com. How I would do it. I
would be using just two. Copy-paste here
and click Search. Look at the language in country because that will
be also effective. Wait for the results. And you'd be getting
some details about it. Yeah, Now the results
have been fetched. And you can see there are a
lot of domains here which are considered as competing
domains for this. L is cynics family.com. Now I have zoomed in
so that you would have a good view of it. Right? So one important thing
here is these domains, some are really good
and someone not. You can see the competing
domains, the list. You're competing domains of,
of calisthenics family.com. Somehow ridiculously high
authority to domains somewhere within reach of
this calisthenics family.com, you can see man, self.com has about 2.5 million keywords gap
with an estimator, the traffic of humungous when compared to
calisthenics family.com. While low disease
given as a competitor, we can read out
sites that we want. We don't want to go after. It can obviously
get keywords gap as a metric to see whether you want to go after something
or not. Alright? Gap a brief keywords GABAA bar to more than something
that is reasonable. You should avoid it because those are sites which
are high-authority. More and more content
as more traffic. And those sides are after, go after those types
we can simply ignore. But there will be
slides which you can try to compete with. So to do this, we would
be exporting everything into yes, we've downloaded. And that would be a good start. In my IT Are. You can see the data here. Common keywords. I'd be inserting the mean score and just fill out these are
what I would be doing here is go to your dashboard. We order African. I think here it will. Here we can actually get is two, the mean urge at the domain authority 86
Daddy's on RealWear, what we would want to go after. But don't just make
decision right now, just keep it down the data. It will be figuring
that out later. Six, the next bodyweight
training, arena.com. When dynein good. Alice genics, ged.com. When the seven like
trainer.com 35, a shot of adrenaline.com at 25. And the athletics.com. This is having 21
domino daughter, love deep.com, 33,
breaking muslim.com, and are thus x in
school callous. But let me just sort out this. I'm just giving you an overview. Right now. You can simply create
a number filter. Consider domains
which are having authority of less
than or equal to i u. And here we have some domains
which are BAFTA. All right? In this manner, you
can figure out which competitors you
want to go after, who you would be
considering as competitors. And copying these into my
list of competitors URLs. Area. Though, these are
domains which we can go after. I'd be formatting
here written out in this, we have learned about what our
competitor domains and how and who we should be
go after, going after it. This in mind, let's get
to the next lecture. We are going to drill down our competitive data
and learn about drawing insight from them and gaining knowledge about
entered our keyword research. Thank you very much guys.
18. #17 Filtering HIgh DR Sites: Guys, we have created
our competitor list, but this is not enough.
We want some more. How do you find out
your competitors? After brainstorming
initial, like, if you're not someone who is beginning a blog in,
simply go ahead. I know to competing
domains for me. One of my ADD them. You can see it has a
number of websites in iterates that we can
hybridize competitors. Not only that, we can to believe figured out your
competitors buy your own domain. I have few websites and y within my reach,
some are not written. What I wouldn't be doing this
I would be white Katrina. Data is then I would go after this
website is similarly, you can find out your
initial competitors by going after
competing domains. After having competing domains, you can simply use these blind. Right? Let me just grab, Here's just a list of
competing domain here. And we will be doing here
is we're going to try. Which means externally, if
we're going to do it on a baton at the grid filled in here. The bike fission. Less than 35. Is less than 35. Wow, how we have a list
of competitors for many, have about 10 competitors. It is a good step. But this is not
completely enough because some of the sites might be here from what
we are trying to target. What we have to do here is we have to focus all we have to manually when that
will be our next step. Thank you guys.
19. #18 Finalizing List of Competitors: Hello guys. Now we have filtered out the domains
that we can avoid. It we can neglect
and we can simply ignore the ones that we
do not have to go after. Now is the time to
actually wet these URLs, these domains, which wire which we are supposed
to go after. I'm going to do here
is I'm going to take these, copy them. I'm going to paste them here. Right? I don't need
domain score anymore because these are simply the domains which
I can go after. But there is one important
thing that we need to do here, which is which is to privacy, whether they are legible
website riders here, whether they are something
weighing out, please useful. Are they someone who
is just a website we just created out of hobby which has some are
the spammy sites are the goods that we have
to manually review them. That is what the
Publius suggests. We have to annually review all of the things
that we are trying to, all of the domains that we
are trying to go after. Farel, our website ranks from this link prospector will
give us all of these URLs. Websites will end up window
or window, click Import. Wait until these rooms, these pages, so it
will be loading. And now we're going
to prune these pages that there are some pages
that we can go after, whether there are some a, reject it until it finishes
loading all ten of, alright, successfully
loaded 10-bit. Here is, you can
see they're having a pop-up window where we can they're trying to
show something pop up. But that is a reason the
page is not looking fine, a dense till we can actually go ahead and add their website. This is a legitimate website. I don't need to reject it. Are you a training
arena explicated? Yeah. This is something
we can and Sudan as a valuable prospect competitor
and aesthetics and the m.com is a nibble website. I'd call trainer.com. Yeah. There have been featured
on a number of places. Have been featured in
a number of places. So this is something valuable. They athletics dot-com, right? Displeasure doesn't seem fine. All right, It is a nice website, but as far as design
is concerned, That's a death blow up. You didn't see the
blog has a lot of articles with a really incredibly useful and they are trying
to provide value for doubly. So this is a valuable
prospect.com. Wait a minute. This looks like an
e-commerce web. Yes. This is a V e-commerce
web. We don't want that. We want content-based with
old-school calisthenics. These are illegitimate website. Heat work is a good website. It has fandom, yes, this is a height and a cynics. All right? Yeah, all
of these are useful. The ones that are
not useful for us. We haven't rejected those. Now. We're going to pick
the URLs to clipboard. And I'm going to take
these URL's here. Yes. So now we have
rejected one of them, which is an e-commerce website. We only want content based
to entitle because we are trying to compete with
content-based website. We are building a
blog or IPE now, this is how you can manually review and filter
out anything that is not necessary and finalize your list of
competitors that are, that you can go after that, do this before we can
head over to the next important. And you guys.
20. #19 Finding Competitor Topa Pages & Keywords: Welcome back, guys. Now that we have finalized is
tough competitors. Now it is time to go after those competitors
up basis and keywords. That is what we will
be going after him. After each of them are done, I will be noting down
whether it is done. Our last point is
calisthenics fact. I wouldn't be doing it is
you're going to I1 dot Hi, traffic, downloads, edges. And what I have done here is I haven't
downloaded pages for this domain as similar
manner, have to do it. Or all of these are important thing is try
to be by removing this. Because we want to have
11 that nobody is. This. Hello guys. Here we have all of the means. That is a good start.
An important thing for you to understand is
the top pages in business. He had just returned
getting high amount of traffic from within the blog. So you can see all of
these are the blog rate. Let me just grab one of them. Right. Okay. Did it let's look
at estimated visit. Yes. Graphic of about 36 1005
list from the top pages. But that is not only that
we've got a number of infinite and the number
of mappings to each page. Book shares that are
happening through each page, and also the interest
shares that are happening. Well, it is incredibly
important and it's up for us. We have the same data, we deal all the web
pages, the sheets. It is now time for us
to actually start. I guess. I'm not getting done. We need to get the keyword you might have. Now I'm going to give keywords are willing to have traffic. As keyword is the most important. These are SEO tools provide suitable amount of details
regarding the site. But we are more focused on the
top pages and top keywords because we are trying to lay
the foundation for our site. This cannot happen without having proper keyword research. That is what we are trying
to establish here.com. Hey, are we have got is he
works as well. Now it is fine. Now we have all the data that is required about
are competing domains. Either in form of top bases, are in the form of keywords. Now it is our
responsibility to make sure that we analyze, understand, and decode topics that
we can go after and rank and get targeted traffic and
make money. Let's go ahead. Thank you guys.
21. #20 Merge your Spreadsheets: Welcome back to our lecture sky. Now that we have learned
about the top pages, the top keywords for Allah, for competing domain,
we have good data, but we can use as a raw data. This is the raw data we have. So we can use it to analyze, organize, and find out what are the things that
we shouldn't be targeting. All right, We just
got some good target, all the keywords
and all the top. You just written
all the domains. We have, the narrow down, what are the things that
we should go after? Because that is the effective
and efficient strategy. If you just spreading
yourself out of every keyword in every top edge within all these
competing domain. It is just going to be a
record breaking process. You're just trying to tie
yourself either yourself out. And that's not useful at all. Right, now, our
concern here is to, at present we are going to merge whatever
data that we have. Right? But let's do that. Now I
have two folders here, top pages and up
the top pages have the top pages for all of
these competing top keywords. I have the image by traffic
for all the competing domain. What I'm going to be
doing is I'm using a Windows software, Windows OS. So it's going to be
different for someone with Apple Mac OS. So it is somewhat similar. If you are someone
who is, you can map. I will be showing you
different process. End of this. We'll follow that. Right now. I'm going to go I'm
going to pick Us II. This will give me
the terminal with this file looking are, you can see the file location. These are slow in our downloads. Upbeat. And what I'm
going to be doing here, let me just say this
is a file type. All of them are Microsoft
almost separated values. So what I'm going
to be doing here is the sphere of worrying
about the filenames are simply use insulin to
combine all these pages. Writing of the artist. But this means is, the meaning of this
command is we'll copy the data within all
these CSV files. I have kept star dot csv because star means
any character. Any fine with any CSV file with water will find
limit might have only to introduce you to
go into copy all the data within all the CSV files
within this folder. Then we need to paste the
data into some place pages. And now we have pages combined and open it. Hello Kate, here we have
the pages that we have come right into the count 2017. What dwells on demand rules of data is present in this file. Let me just close it and I
want to have the pages come. Let me just go back
here to top keywords. I'm going to close this again. I'm going to go through
the same process. Now, r dot c, d, e words, and by dot csv. Don't forget to give the file and see the file has
been. Plus this. Just to go S. Now all the data that we need. So we know how we just combine
and the keywords come. Let me just, I'm going
to create a new field. Is added. Our combined data. This is in Microsoft
Excel format, but right now I'm working
on Google Sheets. I wanted everything to
be online because I want to be able to pick it
out from any place I want. Alright. Following the process of
Cloud is a much easier read. Or what I'm going
to do is I'm going to import some upload. I can simply drag my file at least two words. These are blooded, import data and creating a new spreadsheet. It is dead. And now now we have everything that
is there to know. He wouldn't combine. Now it is time for
me to pay discount. It is time. We didn't use it. How I have the data for pages
combined. He wouldn't come. This is a good start.
Right now I have the data right within my reach. Now we have learned
how to merge data. We're going to organize
a part out and shoot that would be easy for us to
how to work with our data. So I don't look at it. During your drawing. It will be cleaning
all of them right? In each module, gas producer
and uploading it to importing into Google
Docs, Google sheet. That's for now, angular scope.
22. #21 Organizing Raw Data in Spreadsheets: Hello guys. Now that we have learned about how her
dose print shooting it, I know raw data is time for us to organize
our spreadsheet. Because unless we get organized, everything seems to
be in a cluttered. And to make a decision, it would be just would
just be crazy thing. Right now, our concern is to actually organize
our spreadsheet, organize our RDD, but that we would be making
our decisions promptly. We will, we will have a clear mind and we're
trying to analyze our data. But let's get ahead reading
first thing is I want to use my B just
combines budget. I'm going to change the
name of the file here. Now the very first thing I'm gonna do it, good. I don't need. Now that we have this data, what we're going to do here is I'm going to
include two column. Last one would be for me. Let me copy this font. All of it. Yeah, thanks. And a news editor. And just drag this on
the rules. In grading. We need this data because we're going to use the domain rating. Who make our decisions, what the data based on. In reading it. Of course, we've got our domain
rating that we would know. We would have an understanding
of what we can go after. Wait a minute. Got it. Now we have this data. What we're going to do
is I'm going to select, we advance range sorting them. This data has a head arrow. Very first thing is we need
to sort based on the need. We need to see real data to
be sorted from your domain, your domain reading
too high domain rate. Then we need another graphic. Really want, I want of traffic. We want our data to be
sorted in a manner where the lowest domain
authority website getting highest Africa and up. Alright, now you can see
we don't need this column. Is this domain. Domain is getting
a 134 visitors. The level of sophistication. This is about plotting. What are your top pages
we are heading or do. This is another thing we
really need to focus. And now let's work on
our keyword, mind Data. Want to change the list? The very first thing is
I wonder the number. Then the things that I want. The keyword volume. Yeah, definitely the URL. Yes. Yes. We have everything
that we need. And we do that. We need to solve this. I'm going to do a row into z. We want low difficulty
to another room. Visits and didn't miss interpretivism. But you can see I don't
want 0 visit during and what I'm gonna do
is create a filter greater than I in with how everything
looks, right? We'll search difficulty though, too high, too high
to low traffic. This is a night that up for. Now we can choose which
ones to go after or. So. Right now we have organized
our spreadsheet data. Now it is time to learn how
to analyze the keyboard data. Right now we haven't
done any generalization, but we have organized
the entire data. We are analyzing
much more easier. Let's get ahead with
that. And you guys.
23. #22 Analyzing Keyword Data & Develop Content Strategy: Hello guys. And now have our raw data
and we have kept it in a such a form that we can analyze them and make
some prompt decisions. Lead to go ahead and
learn about this. So I'm focusing first on
the competitor top pages. The rain, we have a sorted this data is by domain reading. Going from small to
hire, from low to high. Traffic, going from high to low. Which means the data is
sorted in such a manner. That regards that in see here
are off websites that are low domain authority and having
pages with high traffic. And you can see the
domain and RDS 12. And we get into 13, which is of all calisthenics. When this data might not be accurate if
you look at it now. But time of taking this
data is accurate, right? So what was I just provided
us with this data. This might not be exactly
estimate of the traffic because they are not in
your Google Analytics. Alright? They don't have
access to Google Analytics, but they are very precise, are, I would say that's a good
estimate of traffic. My guess would be if they're
saying 1034 of traffic, you can easily estimate
or you can usually, it is about two times more than what they
are seeing here. Because search engine tools, search engine optimization
tools like who will suggest it,
hitters, SEM rush. He hadn't notorious for
underestimating your graphic. The reason is they
wanted to show an estimate instead of
showing the exact rate. They don't have access
to all your data. A deacon Megan estimate, depending on your backlinks, depending on your position, depending on your
keyword volume, they can do a clear estimate. And at the same time, this is quite useful. So these are top pages made. We can study these days. This is the title,
but this title, which is topic, URL, is this, the calisthenics
family with domain rating of girl is getting traffic
about this much. 1008, 34. The data that is, but here we can see a competitive keywords
where we have sorted this data is by
search difficulty, low to high, and estimated
receipts from high to low. And competitive top pages
we're taking domain reading to be low to high here we are taking such difficulty
too low to high. The reason water similarly
difficult defectors. The main reading or
authority score is where the website to
values from low to high means is easy
to compete with. When the DR is low. In a similar manner, search
difficulty low to high means. It is easy to rank for this keyword as the
difficulty is low. At the same time,
we're looking for low difficulty keywords
with high estimator. Alright, you can see
here that manner, what are having searched
difficulty of six. But the estimated results for
this keyword is about 76. But this is about 11, although depends
on the volume and position about how many
major visit we get. But you get what
I'm saying, right? Because we are trying to compete
with the domains that we arrived that are ranking already introducing before
the keyword as well. We are doing competitor
keyword research analysis. This is not simply trying
to be the keyword, but beating their competitors
for your keywords. That is the process and that is the approach we're taking here. So what we're doing is the most important data when
compared to top keywords. Because we know what these
pages are going for, how much traffic they're
getting for each basis. And understand this, any page can rank for
hundreds of keywords, sometimes even
thousands of keywords. So going after
assembly keywords, I'd be cumbersome approach. But if you can target
a page that is ranking and getting
a lot of traffic, you can determine what
this topic is about, what keywords it
is ranking for n, you can approach them as going after keywords
might be useful, might not be useful. But studying the top pages gives you a lot of
clear understanding. Right now, what I would
suggest you do is go ahead and create a new
spreadsheet along with me. I'm going to name
this spreadsheet as atlases are, and also name this as Alan Alda. All right, what do you
have to do here is search volume. The word difficulty. Viral editor. Is it? Yeah, I think this is pretty
much as is right now. Oh, let's make everything our volume. But I think everything
looks fine right now. So let me go in here. I can see calisthenics
chest workout. This much amount and grab this, you place it here. You made a visit. Indian 34. Let's go ahead and
look for this. This is the keyword
which is Africa. I'm going to filter by
accident and do that. That. Okay. Thanks that I'm
getting everything. You can see the most. This is the keyword which is bringing the most
amount of visits. The keyword that I need. And also the one that
has volume as as one. And that means that as well. And we would be easy
for me to track it, is one idea is a sample title
that I'm going to do here is to do the job. If quality, like I
have said earlier, is easy for you to pick
domains that are arriving, domain grading of less than
35 starting right now, this has cruel, it is easier for me if I can actually
build great content. Where after it, why
some bad things? It is going to be
much easier for me to do it in this way. But don't go crazy and look
for a 100 topics like this. Either get five and
the beginning and publish those five posts
and see your progress. It is going to be amazing. Then you can just
pete the same process over weeks and you can
gain good SEO results. Right now, in terms
of keyword research, we have done a great Grave. So you can build your content
calendar in this way. But let me just show you mine. So this is my template
content calendar where I have the target keyword, volume, keyword
difficulty, end deadline. I have already
demoed this keyword, so I did not put as much as men. But still I keep a
deadline and I tried to buy that, right. So this is just an
example for you all. Depending on your niche, depending on your side, whatever you are trying to
target your target audience, these things are going to
change and are just simply take somebody else's analysis of keyword research and
expect for you to work. It needs the requirements and everything
changes depending on the type of target and girls who have the type of site
that you're building. A deep ahead with a what I
have d2 and tried to prepare a content calendar with at least five topics right now before you
get to the next week. Thank you very much, guys.
24. #23 Determining Keyword Competitiveness: Hey guys. So now we are going to learn about keyword competitiveness
or keyword difficulty was just after analyzing the keyword data and competitor top pages is not
enough for us to. Go ahead. Let's dig into this
because we need to have an estimate about what
we're trying to achieve. Now that is just going
to get incredibly tough. We haven't got the keyword,
the search volume. Of course, Uber suggest did provide us with the
keyword difficulty level. But we have to do our
own research as well. What I'm going to be doing
here is before we had a word, I'm going to introduce you
to a new dual, a mosque. What do you have to do is you
have to sign up for MOOC. I'm signed up and login. It is a free amine. There are there are
three and paid versions. Look for the reversion. We head into the free SEO tools. Select the MozBar.
You can try more. And you can use this
as a Chrome extension. What happens here
is MozBar will try to give you analytics on data and insights
into surgery as well. What I'm going to be doing
here is I'm going to take anesthetics escrow of God. It. Look for it and go over. Now let's see what
happens when we activate. Here. Is it reading it? Yeah, now we are able to
see the result. Navigate. Turning it in. Now you can see calisthenics
chest workout. This is the website
which is ranking the top with a domain
authority of 12. And if you scroll down, we can see the
abdominal cavity of 291933 when D1, when D7, 18. All of these are under 35, which is a good range for
us for compete with them. It is a domain
authority of 83513. All of them are graded that 25 or 30 willow tree
for any n is 42 ET1. Okay. Did these all sides and both have outrank meant
meant journal.com, which is of 81 domain authority. We have good enough
potential here to rank for this keyword if we can
do it in a good way. Next word and learn about this, why this is top.
Understand this. It already has five links. Or it is good for us to rank for this keyword if we can
build them backing strip. Let's understand the
content that target the length of the contended
they have created and an extension word current replace. It is about just
over ten hundred, ten hundred thousand words and they're able to rank
the number one spot. And they have also built five
backlinks, which I have. The domain authority is of 12. And let's see what is a next. I have a video of 2009. It about only right. It's about 2806 pi, but still it is not
dragging behind. So inference could be
a lot of thing, right? It has about nine links with the domain authority of 2009. The problem, maybe
a website is being perceived because these people might have built great amount
of credibility within, crushed, within
Google end-users. And look at it they're showing
proves the journey and their programs is
causing them to have more trustworthy users
and with Google as well. But Clyde retain this
and you'd be, oh, and we can pull up db.com
is an e-commerce bot, but still has got a place. You can see these options. This is not a good sign, but still their ranking with only one backing and the
domain authority of 33. But there is good enough
potential to rank in this area. But you have to pay close
attention that you need good content and you need to build backlinks to rank here. But the keyword competitiveness
is not as high as we can say because people are ranking
here with one bagging. You can see here one
backlink on backing. I mean backlinks and
only five backings. We need good content. The quality backlinks are
about five batting, right? If you can build it, you would
be pretty much good to go. You are getting at
least about 2000, perfect, 2 thousand visitors per month for a
single blog post. If you can get this. One important thing to
understand here is it, it is not good to aim. Number one spot all the time. You have to understand this. A single blog post can rank
for multiple keywords, if sometimes even
hundreds of keywords, you have to target based on what is the
optimization level that you want to achieve. Because you can get about
vetoes and traffic, or photos and traffic from
all the keywords combined, instead of getting only 2000 and traffic from
a single keyword. The Optimizely
optimization level depends on the way you
are writing your post, which is not out of the
scope for this course, which I'm going to teach
you in another course, which I will be publishing
in the next week. You can follow that one as well. Right now, this is
where we are heading. So we have understood the
level of difficulty that is existing within this keyword and whether to go
after it or not. If keyword
competitiveness is high, which means more
backings had acquired and high domain authority sites are existing within the search, then you might prefer to
go after something else. You have to make sure that your judgment is right on spot. And it is not being influenced
by just GOT and write. You have to be sure that we're making these changes using data. We have analyzed our
keyword competitiveness. Let's get into the next lecture where we're going to learn about using Uber suggest
keyword explorer. Thank you guys.
25. #24 Using Keyword Overview Tool for more Content Ideas: Hello guys. Now what we are trying
to achieve here is something Uber suggest
keyword over root 2. Using this tool, we can generate more amount of topics and ideas for our content
or content publishing. So if you are someone who
is working on gardening, simply go ahead into Uber, suggest keyword overview
and type gardening. Now, look at the potential of search volume three
hundred and thousand, three hundred, three
hundred and one hundred. Now there's a lot of search one, but the same time the
difficulty is high or 77. But what we will be doing here is we can get long-tail
keywords and go after. So let me click on gardening. And you consider a number of search results
that are popping up. And I can have estimated
visits, number of backlinks. To mean that the order
d, partial shoes. You might think social
shares are not important. But right now, we're, as we are focused on SEO, we are not considering to
talk about social shares. But Google will also try to have an understanding
of what these, so that they can
know which trout, which pages are making noise in social media so
that they can use those analytics and those
results here as well. So what I'll be doing here
is I want to have a volume of keywords that are written 12 thousand because
those would be something I can go after with a SEO difficulty
between this range. So I'm selecting SEO difficulty about eroded 35 because
that is the easy rain. Now, let me just start this
written volume high to low. Now I have this thing. Or 260 people will
be searching for this keyword that
you've heard this. I can also go ahead and
see your difficulty. Medium as well. Let me
just select from 050. Alright, now I have
some other keywords. You can choose one of
them or you can, you can, you can also see
either search results. You get an understanding of what are the pages
that are ranking for this keyword and really
be able to rank for them. You can gain that kinda of
an insight and understanding right from right within
Uber suggest tool, NICU, IPE, domain authority. Already there is a
domain authority of 9, 21, 15 PSI can go after these
mappings are quite low. One In, this has more
number of backings. But you'd get my point, right. So it is critically
important for you to make this
kind of analysis. But jumping into
writing any content. Also try to understand it. Might think is a
very low variance, but when he was just Paul
month for a single page from a single keyword is not just in the
beginning stages, and this is just
only an estimate. This could be about
two times more. This could be about 60 visitors from this keyword
alone to this page. So try to maintain the kind of perspective and
first start building a content calendar
where you can take advantage of these
low hanging fruit. Then you can go ahead for a high hanging fruit of
more amount of volume. That in mind. Here ending this course, we have learned about
a lot of things. In the next lecture,
I'll be telling you, what is the project we
have for this course. Thank you very much guys.
26. #25 Project Assignment: Hello guys. We have made some great
progress until now. You have learned a lot of
things within this course, which are incredibly
important for anyone who is trying to achieve some
search engine results. And now it is time for you to get understanding
about your project. So I'm going to give you some points about our project which you're going
to have to submit. Number one, mobile
friendliness test results. I have told me about
mobile friendliness. Google is not going to easily take your side
if you are not mobile optimized to optimize your site so that it fits the
mobile version. And submit the test
results screen chart. And the next PageSpeed
Insights results. Your site speed is an
important Google metric. So submit your PageSpeed
Insights results as well. And your list of competitors
and their domain authority. I have to do the data about the competitor top pages
for competitor's keywords. That is not necessary
for this project, although it might be useful
for your content calendar. Only submit the list of
competitors that you are trying to see them
as your good ones. And along with that
domain authority. Finally, after going through all the analyzing
of the keywords, doing NDI, you research, submit five keywords
that you are targeting. This is a great start for your
blogging, our SEO journey. So try to submit this project. These won't dig more
than one art to us. So take time and go ahead with this course and tried
to submit the project. This is a great
progress for you guys. See you guys in the next course where we're going to learn
about condemned writing. Thank you very much guys.
