My virtual store is open 365 days, 24 7 Over 10,000 students have taken my digital courses, and thousands of customers have purchased my e books and guys, I've so products from 99 cents to $99 to hundreds and thousands of dollars. I'm not special. Also, my family of France think highly of me. I think they do. But really, I'm just a average lady from the Midwest. And if I can create a cell digital products, you can too click in a row and let's get started on this entrepreneurial journey
2. LINKEDIN csd: Reid Hoffman, the co founder of Lengthen. Here's his quote. If you are not embarrassed by the first version of your product, you've launched too late. Amy and Brother Amen, brother. Amen, brother. I couldn't agree more with Reid Hoffman. And you all know what lengthen has turned out to be. Everybody knows five million plus members. Manager professional are there. They build and engage with your professional professional network. I am a member. I have an account will link them. But I didn't log into my account just not to show my personal information. But lengthened is a business and employment or in this service. So what is this linked in Is on the Internet. It's a digital platform. Will people search for jobs They network they network online. And if he can say, if you're not embarrassed by the first version of your product, you've launched too late. You know what's worse then? Not launching, not landing. And how are you gonna land if you don't launch, you have to muster up the courage to create a digital product. Put it out there. What's great about this course? I'm going to show you some way to take some baby steps. Now, if you get angel investors, capital investments and all the money in the world go build you the best product that you can. But for everybody else who digging down in their pocket, taking from their hurt harder or money maybe from a day job, maybe from putting their day job money into their hobby or until their business. Maybe you work for a company and you want to leave the company. Start your own company by selling your own digital products. May be your ah business. You're a school teacher, and this has actually happened where school teachers who have been teaching, who have left their teaching jobs, they started selling study guys and all kinds of things, and they are making six figures and they have left. That doesn't happen for everybody. Know has been a quite a journey for me, but I have earned, and I'm very happy that I was not afraid to lunch digital products and fail. So let's get going. Let me show you how the lunch and land
3. Back in Time: Hey, let's take a trip back in time, even if you don't want to go back in time and does me for a moment. You remember back in time when look at that. There were VHS is and cassette tapes and CDs and even MP three players. The digital additional product is a living, breathing product. Eso You got to be ready and that's what's great about E books. And you know things like that you can update them as necessary. If you've included links in your products and I'll show I'll talk later about links you can . You have to be ready to remove the links of the lakes no longer work, just like in my classes. Living, breathing, digital clients. If there is a website that I've mentioned and that website goes away, I have to be ready to update it. Digital products are living, breathing things. So you remember back in the day, let's say, like Tony Robbins, rival Rah and he would probably go Bizerte carrying. We call him hearing me refer to him as being back in the day is probably saying I'm still relevant, Remember, I don't know if you're if you all are familiar with this American TV show that was called that is called three's a Company with Suzanne Somers. She became, like the by master exercise Take Guru. So that's this is before there were digital products, there were physical products like CDs and tapes and cassette tapes and all that kind of stuff. But now they're digital products. And remember, as we move forward into this class, the digital products are Vivien breathing on lying documents. You got to be ready to update them because they become outdated really, really fast. As example as an example. Look at this book with the CDs on the cover ah, box of CDs and DVDs. You got to be willing like I say it to. This is a digital product and things change very quickly. So you got to be willing toe update and take out links and all that kind of stuff. Let's keep going. Let's learn how to create and sale some digital products
4. Create: before you can sell the product, you first got to create it. And how do you create it? Well, you know what it starts with and don't let it. This one, it starts with the knowledge in your brain. Whatever industry you're in, whatever passion or hobby you have, you have some knowledge in your brain about that industry are about your passion or a hobby . Hey, Storace was what? Your brain. You can't see me, but I'm using my finger to point to my brain or my head. And so that's where it starts. Makes you want to do a skills assessment and forgot what skills you have. Well, we all know how to research if you were going to do a guy in on hiking, if your if your hobby or passion is hiking and taking hikes and you wanted to put together a guide of the best trails to hike, you will start with looking at other guys with plucking your brain about places you've taken hikes to. And although there are other guys out there and you will want to do research by looking at those other guys, you bring your unique perspective. Nobody else can be gyu and explaining the guy, using your unique perspective on the other skills you will need to be able to compose, to be able to compile, to be able to write, to create a graphic. Teoh, you might. If your product is involved something that involves technology, you'll need that skill. But guess what? If you don't have the skills, look to the right. You hire a freelancer to do this and opinion or your budget. If you wanna really tie shoestring budget that you might check a site like up work or a fiver. But you do, you do get what you pay for, so you know you want to try it out. Pay what the job pays across the board. Another six site. I usually don't recommend sites that I have a used, but I have some, ah, former clients. She really liked people by the hour, so you might shake people by the hour. What about Do you work from a co working space, and if so, and their Coworking space is a lot of talented individuals that might be looking for freelance work so you might try and networking at the Coworking space You might try putting your your knees out on a site like lengthening in or something like that to like you're looking for, say, a graphic designer. What about coal workers? If you stiff, you have, ah, 9 to 5. There may be a person that works in a different apartment there, the graphic designer for the company, or something like that. Family and friends, family and friends. You know, you'd be surprised up a couple of millenniums in my family, and they know a lot regarding technology. You might be able to get a millennium to pay them. I have partnered with someone. They've done some work on my website, and I've written some copy for them. So it's so many different ways. I use Campbell. A camera is a free platform where you can go to make graphics. Now there is a pay version of Campbell, but you don't need to use it. Also, canvas sails different kinds of templates for, like a buck, just a buck. So to get started creating, you do the research and then you assess your knees. What needs would you have in creating their product? If you are creating a form or something like that you don't have the skill set to create some type of form. You heard someone to do it. So that's how you start creating. And then it's really simple. You want to know? Let me show you. Bam! When I started creating products, I started with a blank document, a word processing document, and I typed up a list of tweets. Yeah, I saw tweets e. I saw tweets, um, people, you know, they maybe they're busy. Or maybe they're not that creative. So I saw tweets to write or some really clever tweets their writers could use. You'd be surprised what type of digital products you can create but its stars with something simple. I'm in this course I'm going to share you a mostly a simple approach. That's where people just getting started and who might not have a big budget. But Bio Ming's, Even if you have a big budget, you're still gonna want to take this course because it will give you some simple tricks and advice. And things like that am you. It's just that simple to start creating, you know, sometimes we work ourselves up. We make more of a big deal than it has to be. You just have to get started. Remember that Reid Hoffman quote. You just have to launch. If you don't launch, you know the rest. You can't land.
5. More Research: let me elaborate a little bit more on doing research and creating your product. Your digital product is not be key that you roll up your sleeves and do some research. Think about who's in your industry creating the type of digital products that you want to create. If you don't knows in your industry where that's where you start with, Who do you admire are what type of products. If you've seen digital guides, our courses or whatever it is in whatever industry you want to create a product for, you want to start by researching people doing it successfully and also people not doing this successfully. And that's where you're gonna want to start. Originally, I started warning to write the's big, critically acclaimed books, and I still I'm working on a critically acclaimed working on a memoir right now. But I also wanted to write these books that help people. One of the people I started following was author by the name of Steve Sky. Steve Scott is a he come he's come come from the world of Internet marketing, but he started writing these Amazon books of about 25,000 words that helped offer solve one problem and he talks about quality information shouldn't be expensive. And, um so he started putting these books together and these books with the business model of 2 99 and these books were about 25,000 words. Those what he started out with now even write books of around 25,000 to 65,000 words. But he was He is extremely is a six figure author writing these little books that sometimes people you may even here or have her people in the past refer to e books as pamphlets. They're not pamphlets, their books if they cover a topic sufficiently. But that's one of the things that he was like my inspiration to learn how to create digital products. This was a product I knew as a writer that I could create. I knew I had a lot of information on writing topics and other topics, and I started creating books following his business model. And so he's a six figure Arthur, and he does really well, and he's giving out V I. His podcast. That's a digital product of high caste is a digital. It's on the Internet is could be considered a digital Ah, product, his e books and twist. I got started. So whatever industry you're tryingto create a product for, or whatever your passion or hiding, you wanna look at people who is successful, what type of products are they putting out? And that's one of the ways you want to start with doing your research.
6. Curate 1: a great example. A great example of a digital product that you can sail is a curated package. Now, when you think about curation, think about museums and how they curate or a host. Rather, is a painting, some art, some artifacts. They those curated things are either on long. Maybe they've purchased off. Sometimes the museum's ah wealthy estate may loan them a piece of art to display for a certain period of time. So Muir museums are curate er's of things, and it works a saying with A with creating a digital product. But you create a digital product. It's not a single thing. So, for instance, here are some examples. It could be a checklist. Whatever industry you're, and you could put together a checklist. Whatever industry you're in, you could interview some people that are in your industry. You probably just Let's just say you're an accountant. You have friends or co workers, or if you own your own business, you probably have partner with other accountants on projects. Or you might just be aware of them and be on a friendly term, and you might invite them to be to do an interview to be a part of your package now, Why would they do without being pay? Because it would also generate business to them. Or, you know, So that's what you could do. A interview. You could do articles if you wanted to curate. Find some of the best articles on freelancing or the best articles on best practices for lawyers. You can compile a list of those articles. A resource is so resource is some of the best tools that medical assistance she used over the best tool for writers. You could come up with a list of the best tools in your industry. You could make a guy which could be called a PdF for r e book or, you know, a guy. Pdf e book is kind of all the same thing You could come up with a list, a list of the top 10 just thinking stuff on top of my head, the list of the top 10 and will use tools against tools for that particular industry. I'm a freelancer, I'm a writer. And so there are tools that we have in our industry that I could put together a list and share. Now I can put this list. I could give it away for free. I can put it on my block, and you might be asking, Well, why would you put this list on your block? Will some of the products are they give the is called affiliate marketing? They give the person who gets the sale a commission. And so that's the reason why I'm gonna show you an example of that. Just now, Amazon has an affiliate program, so when you become an Amazon affiliate, you get assigned links. And so, if you were to compile a list of the best books that every accountant should read and Eagle list these 10 books or 100 books on your website and with each book, you include a link. And so when a person clicks on that link, you get a percentage. So that's one way that your digital product you can look at it. Material on a block is being curated. You have curated the list. You put it on the block. It's a digital product, and that's just one way how it works. It's for us to generate income from your digital product. Your list. I have an account, and I mostly use it to promote books. And, you know, books are low, low ticket items, if you will, but you can also like if you were in an industry where I don't know the TV industry are electron ICS industry where you can encourage people to purchase laptops. The 10 best laptops. You could review laptops and things like that for a higher commission because the higher the ticket item is, the more you get. In addition, once you curie that list, you can sail packages. So name is something here. I just made something for the purpose of this course. You could call it something like the ultimate package, and you can put a price tag on in $97.197 dollars, $997. I mean, the sky, it's unlimited. Score the price range and then the packet, like I'm a freelancer, an author, So I could do the ultimate guy to freelancing. And this could be targeted toward, um, freelancers who I'm in the industry and I can give them, you know, all the tips of the trade If they're just getting started. I could put together audio interview with some top freelancers, and I could do that a couple of ways. I can talkto. You know, some people that I know that Aaron industry and say I'm going to give them a percentage for doing the interview, or I could just pay them a flat feet. Or maybe they'll do it because in the industry we well, Trey, you favors. And one of the things you can build about the audio interview, you could say something like, Oh, my virus protection came on. This is real life, folks. You could say something like interview wit, Wellington Bob never before her tips. So that's the way you build it as something special. I could do a freelancers checklist, everything you need to get started. That could be the tools you need, um, the type of ah software. Anything that I wouldn't I could include just about anything on the checklist, and you can also do a single digital prod product. And if you're just getting started, Ah, single digital product may be the most the easiest thing to do, and we're going to talk about more of the single digital product coming up here
7. Curate 2: if you're just starting out, you might consider creating was called a single digital product. And as I was saying, That's like a checklist so you could do a social media checklists And what do I mean by that? When I first started, my I think my first digital product was a Twitter checklist for writers, and it's hard. It was used to be hard being really clever. I think you can do more than 140 characters now. But the time Clinton So I made a checklist for writers tweets that they could use really clever, funny to draw business to their site if they put this tweet up and then put a link to their site. And I think I sold it for five bucks that sold copies of it. And it was just my testing the waters, my getting my feet wet so you can do something really simple. If your target already is, is those that work in your industry or of his customers? You could do a quarrel funding checklist. You know their crowdfunding sites like Kickstarter Indiegogo go fund me when people are just getting starting it. Yeah, they can scour the Internet for our than hours and hours and on some kind of, you know, journey. Or wouldn't it be great to have a checklist where you could tell them size they need to go to to make sure they do this, isn't it? Ah, checklist. A single digital checklist. It's just a single page. I think I'm a mine in a word processing software. It was really simple. I just taped it up like you would type of any other document. I changed the background of the document to Blue. I did some fancy fires and thinking back on it. It was awful looking, But I did it. It was testing the waters and it was successful. You could do a list of scholarships. There are websites that tell about scholarships. There are colleges. There are all kinds of sources. What if you did a list in one place and yeah, those resource is maybe out there. But to think he is when people are looking. If your resource is the first, if your resource is the first resource they come upon, then they will certainly get their resource. If a mother is going a mother or father or parents, they go into a high school. You have a high school counselor. If there still are, counselors may have a list of these. Resource is, But what if you bet you went above and beyond what the high school was given out in D Major is really, really helpful. People like to get information from all different sources. So a single checklist you could shit. You could sell it for a lower price point starting now. But if it adds value that you might want to raise the price point and it's a great way to start out with a single digital product. What's outgained? I'll goto fire. Although fiver, like I say, depending on what day of the week it is, is how I feel about five. Or they make changes that make no sense, and then they do good things. But you see, people here they have checklists. Here's a checklist. I will provide a detail Kickstarter checklist. Um, I will give you 300 checklists for a booster website. I will design your checklists to do list and I will create a Homebuyer checklist. That's a good one. I don't I can't recommend I've been about any of these checklists. But if you were just buying a home when you want a checklist, Yeah, The Homebuyers association may give you a list, but what if this person at its some different things? They did a little bit more deeper research, and they can provide more information. I pay for chest single checklist. I will develop a safety inspection checklist. You see, they're all types of ah checklists here. The fire was a great way. Is I've share before, if nothing else, to test the water. You see, this package stores at $80 isn't audit. I guess that's a digital usher. What kind of checklist? And there are all kinds of I will design a printable pdf work. She You see, they're all types of digital single page checklist. You put it together one page and a nice package. It doesn't have to be. I'm not saying a package, but one single sheet that's nicely designed. And, um, yeah, it'll be something really great. So if you're just starting out a single digit product is a great way to start. I have seen people even do you see I have down here on the list. The last one vacations. I've seen people even give, like Disneyland checklists. I mean, there are all kinds of things. Yes, of course, the amusement part puts out their own information. But what about if they're clever ways to say more money than they let on? Or just different things like that? There's always something that you can make a pilling and type scene about your single digit product. And if you think about it, whatever industry you in whatever hobby you have, just say you're your family. Have been going to Disneyland or Disneyworld for 20 years, you know, all the ins. And now, um, you could market this checklist if it is, Ah, hobby to you, the parents, the parents on your child's soccer team or a baseball team. I mean, they're all kinds of ways, really. I want I want to say this a lot, but the sky is the limit. When it comes to creating digital products, it really is
8. Before Platforms: the platforms that I'm about to share so that you can sell your digital products. I'm about to share some platforms where you can sale your digital products. But here's the thing. You don't have to go through any of these platforms. Although Gum Road and also Amazon, there are six figure people making six figures by selling digital products like E books and on gun rope products and things like that fiver, I don't know. There is one person or several people that have claimed to pay off student loans to pay off the home. And if you really get get into fiber pro or something like that, that it might be worth a look. Other than that, if you have the money to invest in your digital product is far as let's say, you Onley want to sell it from your website. If you have the means, the capability to build your website out so that you can accept payments and do all the technical work and maintain it, then go for yes, sell your product on your website. I sell services through my whip psych, but none of my products. But even if you do have a capability. It's still worth putting your product on, say, like gum rope, because gonna argue Gun Road or Amazon. The reason being is Amazon is going to send you lease while you Amazon won't give you the name of the customer because those are Amazon customers. You can put your evil information if they're interesting and learning more about you and your services, they can. They can contact you. You can't put your contact information and your digital product the same with Garo. What government actually gives you the name? They become your customers, but you got to really bring them to dumb row. Gun Row just operates as a processor, so the face and I'm selling you are sites that anyone can use to just get started to test the waters and to, you know, just get a feel for how everything is going to go. So when you see these platforms, if not, if you don't want to put your product on a platform, you absolutely don't have to. You know, I love to use examples. Let's say I don't know if you have a whole full markets where you're located. I'm not sure where you're located, but Let's say, if you were selling coconut water and a whole full market Whole Foods market is your distributor. They're selling your product, probably taking a cut. But you're also welcome to sell your coconut oil or your website and keep more of the prophet have more control and all that kind of stuff. So think about that in the creating and selling of digital products, these platforms, I'm about to share it just to start just so you can get your feet wet and see how you know , should you go bigger should you invest more should you leave the platforms. So keep that in mind as I share you share these platforms.
9. CS Fiverr: hello. Opinion on who you talk to you either. Love, fiver, You hate fiber. It's possible that you might not have even heard of fiber, but fiber with fiber. There are some pros and cons. I have been both a buyer and a seller on the fiber platform says 2000 and 12 in 2000 and 12 as a way to build my portfolio. I joined the party platform and I was mostly selling freelance writing services. And at the time fiber they get their name is being what you say all this. $5. Later on, they allowed you to add packages, and the last time I checked Ari service for his high as $10,000. Again, there are pros and their cars to be an all fibre, one of the pros of being all fiber. Is that the seller's list? Their skills say so. One of our main by thing like if you want other platforms such as up work, you put out a request for let's say, writing services and then you get a lot of responses, and some people just will reply to a response because they are looking for work or and they're desperately looking for work, so they just reply to a lot of different. They replied to whatever is put out there for your job, even if they're not qualified now there are qualifiers that you can do so that everyone doesn't apply for the job. But with fiber, you go in and you read each person's geek, and I'm gonna show you some examples coming up and you read. This person has listed they have this this and that qualification. You can decide from their point. You are fiver. You definitely get what you pay for. And it's for that reason I would recommend doing business with someone who speaks the same language or is from the same country issue. Otherwise, there may be a communication barrier. As an example, I'm from the United States. I talked really fast, Mike writing communication is very strong, but sometimes when I've worked with sellers in the past, either I didn't communicate effectively or they didn't and it was just, um you know, just a mix up, just trying to understand one another. And so a lot of times, also depending on what the pay wages in certain countries, someone may accept a job and I have a full command of the English language or sore from United States may accept a job, and I have a full communication of another person's language. The good thing about fiver is you can test the waters. This is now I'm speaking. If you decides who put a product, if you decide to sell a product a digital product on the platform, although if you're not a fiber pro cellar, you'll probably want to start your test product at $5 to which you will receive $4. But it's a great way to test and see if anyone's interested is if anyone is interested in your product, as I shared, I have been on the platform, the fiber platform for since 2000 and 12. I don't do much on this platform anymore, like I used to offer services and I will packets the services. This is my account, Um, with fiber, you get to be anonymous. You can use a hand. Oh, and you can also use whatever picture you like as long as any of the picture of a person, although you could use your local or something like that. So here is Let's go into the earnings for I mean so I've had about I've had several council on fiber in early days and even still to the toe still today. If you want to change your name, you must close your account. If you want to start over with a different handle, you have to completely you had. I don't know if it's still true today. What you had to completely close the account I would estimate with three accounts that I've had on Fiverr are probably earned. Excuse me, I've probably earned. I would say about $15,000. See, in this account, You see, I've earned about $6000. I withdrawn all of my money and I have used some money for purchases. This is what's pending $16 this is what's available for what? For withdrawal. Now I'm going to show you the geeks, the two G if I used to have, like, 20 geeks up all fiver. But again the platform can be walkie. They're always making changes. They if you let's say if you're doing some other freelance work and you're not really on a platform, you haven't been on the platform for a while they will demote you if it is all kinds of reasons why you can get demoted despite me having stellar a stellar rating with almost if you combine all of mine all of my handles, our accounts that I've had on here, I've had almost 1000 stellar ratings. Okay, so here's a couple of products digital products that I see. Let's go to you. See, my ratings are five star again. I've had you see where it says piles 17. I paused 17 of my gigs, and I have active two G's. I'm not doing any services, but I'm selling pdf's and let me show you the first pdf preview. I will 50 Book outlining Typical templates. This is for a CEO. I have 12 reviews. 12 Reviews is does not indicate the amount of sales you've had, just the amount of people who left for review. And this is just a pdf and you see this this gig is a pdf guide. Okay, so then let's go to my next gig that I have on here, and I just sell the books. So what happens is when someone makes a purchase, they pay a fiver, and I do have to deliver the book. What? It's just a matter of me. So you see, here I have this. Pdf, we'll show you hurt how to hire someone to write your book for you. Um, OK, so this is the pdf. And again, this is just a 29 page PDF, And, uh, that's what you can do frequently as questions. You see, I have a perfect rating again. This is not the amount of people who have Bob The geek is just the amount of people who have left ratings. I don't know this gig seller like I'm not acquainted with him. I don't know who this person is. It could be someone using a different handle on a different picture. But I do like his digital product. It's forest fiber goes. It's a marketing agency. 30 days, the first client cold emails. And he goes on to show clearly what his guide all first. Then he has several packages. When I started out, fiber did not offer packages, but now they do now he hasn't for the bait. Basic $5 package, profitable agency checklist. So this is a pdf And you he says you get in seven days. We're not sure why he doesn't allow you to immediately get it. This gives a little bit more. This gives a little bit more. A six figure, full package agency agency Growth funnel plus details. +66 Figure from's group to close sales. Guys who hired Toe guy too. High ticket sales. Very detailed. Um, again, I don't know this seller. I'm just reviewing this gig at the same time issue. You get a 50 plate, 50 pages of pdf consulting templates, White files. That's something you could sail. It's a digital products, White files. So if you go down, he translates from I think this is what flag is this. I'm not sure what Russian or something. And to the United States. And so for us will go the reviews. But if you see here he has several digital products that he sells on fiber Airbnb business legal contracts, Airbnb money consulting one on one. So he has t several packages. Thes are examples of digital products that you can sail. It's for girls on what business you're in. What was your passion? Your hobby? These are examples of digital products, but I like about five er is that if you're just getting started, it's a great way to test the waters. The last that I checked, you could not connect with clients outside of fiver, meaning if you met a client of a client botched her book on Fiverr, but then they wanted consulting services outside. I think that's still forbidding where you can't as opposed to like, say, you saw this. PDF or your website or on gum Road you could build a relationship with the client on this platform is just like they are the third party merchants. You are a sciatic seller, and the client is a separate edge T, and you're not supposed to interact with the client outside of this platform. So that's what makes this is what makes fiber definitely a pro is that these are not your clients, their fiber clients, but was the, uh, I mean, that's what makes it a kind. But what the pro is is that you get to you haven't already. It's waiting about your products and you contest the water, so that's what makes it a pro. As with the other platforms that I'm going to sell, you, not sell you that I'm going to show you there are always going to be pros and cons dependent of the day of the week either, like fibre are. I don't like fire, so it just depends on the day of the week because they're always making changes. But again, it is a great site to get started if you want to test the water selling a digital product.
10. CSgumroad: Gun road is a payment processing platform that I use that as I stayed it, there are pros and cars to any platform that you use. Some of the pros will. One of the pros for Garo is that your clients are your clients. And what do I mean by that with fiver, as I stayed it or will state your clients are not your clients. They are virus clients. That is also true with the platform Amazon. You don't know who is buying your product, but with gun row because they're just like a payment processing system. You pay them a small fee they taken out of the product. They take the fee from the product that you see. Oh, so the And they deliver the product to the customer. Unlike with fiber, you must deliver your pdf for your digital product. Another thing I like about gun row and I guess this is true with fiber as well is that you control your price points and you can quickly change your price when I've played around with my price points on Gun Road. And as you'll see in a minute just the other day, I put up a online class and this is a first for me on Come wrote and I changed the price point. One of the kinds for gum row is that you must find your clients now, fiber, they have people who going there just like you could look at fiber as a supermarket. You go in the supermarket, there are a lot of products. You're you're searching, maybe for something in particular. But you also are just browsing to see if anything is on the platform that you like. Customers go there like a supermarket. But gun row operates is obsesses a payment processor. You must find the clients. People aren't at this point just on gun row, going in there to get this product or that product. So you must drive your customers to them to the processing to gum road. But I do like gun road because as the biggest reason why like Gun road is because your customers like I say it or your customers now go to the site now every don't go wrote a couple of years and they just will not just I think they did it about a year ago. They anywhere you could pay. I believe is $10 for an upgraded account, and you get to do a few more things. Well, I don't pay for my account on Gun Road because I really don't do a lot of beers is ongoing Row. But I'm going to show you my earnings here in a sec that here is this class I added yesterday how to write a book About Your life, a memoir, and I'm playing with the price points of $69.99 dollars. The 60 minute outline book I've sold knife. So 15. This is what I made 74 85 my price point for this book is 5 99 and we can go on down the list and see that what I have earned or when I'm selling what I'm selling the book for or the pdf or and this is what I've earned Now, if I were to click on the products, come on computer, I could go on a product. I think if I were to click on a dashboard, what Another thing I like about gun Row is that out? You know, every week are maybe every other week. I think we'll fiber. By the time it goes through all the channels, it's because you're offering services and it just takes. It seems like a month to get paid through, fiber. I was trying to show you how I can't. Okay, so say if I click doing this book right here, all right, So I'm in edit, and I could just Ah, right here right now. I could just change the price point just like that and say you changes. So I've changed the price. Wink, I'm not going to click on this customer tab because it does. Read it, reveal my customers name in their information, Some to keep that private. Here is my profile. Let's have any private, just FBK writer. Another thing that's kind of wonky about gum row is that if you if people are browsing, like if I put in my name and my products, they don't just come up you like, you know, like with fiber and even Amazon. There's like search engine optimization. I'm probably not explaining this the best way, but it's really hard to find your products. And so you definitely have to give your clients links and maybe because I don't have the upgraded $10 account. That could be the reason as well. But this platform if you want to get started, if you want to test out a digital product and what's good about this site, as opposed to fiver, you could sell music, our artwork and even Seo goods like actual tangible physical goods. And that's not true with fire. So there are some perks. Like I said, to each platform, Gun row is a good win. It's worth the price. Points go. You don't have to deliver your product. You just go to just a second, okay? Your product lives with gun row. So if someone wants to buy one of my p d efs, they buy it gum, bro process that processes the payment and delivers it with fiver, You five or processes the payment and I apologize. My voice is going horse on me. It's just being you. A fiver accepts the payment and then they send you a couple of emails and you must deliver and the time frame that you promised to deliver it. So just to give you say this one more time pros and cons, you just have to weigh them. But this is all gun Road is also a good service. To test the waters to see was a good price point or if you don't want a full food. With technology even going so far as to put a PayPal button for your website, they take here everything. And right now they're fees. I think is I'm not. I think is cool. I should really know this. I think it's 2% are if you had an account on upgraded account. I think the feels like 30 cent per transaction. I totally know they are also always changing things, so you just want to If you're interested in getting on gun row, just check to be sore where the fee is and see if the fee is acceptable to you.
11. CS Amazon Kobo: with Amazon. The pros are there of May is of customers with credit cards on file. And it might even be billions of customers that have credit cards on file that are ready to purchase e books and audiobooks and streaming services and even physical goods. But this is a class about digital products. The kind of being on Amazon is that the customers are not your customers, which means if someone purchases your E book, you don't get their information now. How you're able to get their information is that you can, and this is a pro. About being on Amazon, you can leave a link or your email address and that they choose to get in contact with you . If the customer chooses to get in contact with you after purchasing your product, they can do so, so there is still a way to connect. But what is different about Amazon is that there is no way to connect their Amazon's customers because when they buy your product again, you don't have a direct contact with them. Think about it this way. If you went into a retail store or a supermarket and your product is being sold in the supermarket. Let's say your product is a box of cereal. The supermarket is the distributor. You will get paid for your product being in that store, and obviously they'll probably take a commission. But you have no way of knowing unless who that customer is. Now. If you were to put a coupon inside the cereal box or a rebate and x the customer to fill it out, then that's the way you can connect with the customer. So there are ways around it. If you want to look at it like that to connect with your customers that they choose to stay in contact with you, and I like that you can list for information such as your evil address or your website, or even links to higher ticket products inside your book. So if you sell a book on Amazon for 4 99 you know books range. They used to range from 2 99 to 1999. Now I think a good price point is for 99 2999 for an e book. Well, you can list you're a company, you can list your website, and that's a way to bring Amazon customers to your site so that you can up sell products or share information about services that you offer with them was on this is ah, pro and a con. In my opinion, C S E O is key search engine optimization. I don't like with other platforms where you you bring the customers to the platform. Amazon already has customers there, but the way your book stays at the top of ah search list for his category is that it has toe have keywords listed in the matter data now, and so Amazon operates via algorithm. So that's the way you're a book is going to get. Your book of your product is going to get high ranking. And if you are not a S CEO expert, you can hire someone to do that for you. But it's just always constantly and updating. Think s e O. It's just like a digital product. It must stay updated. The services that you can put on Amazon and whether it's a book and evil could be for any category. Whatever profession you're in, and whatever your hobby, you can write any book, are outsource and have an e book ricin. You can put audio services such as audiobook, and they're streaming product. So those are some examples of digital products you can put on Amazon. I am both a seller and a buyer, and so I see it from both perspectives. My pain name on Amazon. It's Frankie Johnny. That's one of my pen names. I also have several pen names on Amazon, and what's interesting about this book is that at first put a version of this book on Amazon. I believe in 2013 and this book has been around despite in having you know four Star 40 reviews at this quaint it has. It's the book that keeps on giving. It's been well received. I've had different versions of it. As I said on Amazon, I do have different versions of it. I have it on every platform, every platform that I'm sharing today. I believe some version of this book is on the platform, and that's what's wonderful about a digital product. You can cater it for different audiences. You can add price points for different Iess is so That's was great about putting your book on various platforms. The platform Kobo operates very similar to Amazon ends with any platform. There are pros and cons. Prose customers with credit cards. Oh, file the cons. They're not your customers. You can list links and info. CEO is key. Your book, Your e book. Your audio book can be used as a lead generation. I'm both the buyer and seller on their platform so I can give my personal experience with the platform. Here is a version of my outlying book, Owen Kobo, and although I've been on this platform for I would say at this point, it's been maybe a year. I don't do much on this platform. I just place my books on the platform, and I don't run ass at this point or do anything like that with Amazon. I have played around with a lot of different marketing techniques, but this platform is very similar to Amazon, and it's definitely a place where you want to consider putting your digital products such as e books and audio audiobooks. You definitely want to explore these two platforms
12. CS four sites: the following for Saif that I'm going to show you. I'm not sure ing you and giving you as a way to recommend the size to you. I have never used either of the force. I thought I'm going to show you. I'm sure them to you because they are platforms that you can sail Or, of course, purchase digital items actually know someone their sales on a Shopify. I haven't talked to them in a while. I know several people, but I don't know if they're having success by selling products on Shopify. Um, I don't know any of that information, but Shopify has been around for a while and I never and I stay in this digital space and I've never heard anything negative. That doesn't mean it doesn't have its pros and cause like all platforms. But here it's One of the things that I do like about Shopify is that it has a modern look and that's saying something because it means that they're staying on top of the digital marketing space. In my opinion, another platform is self I self eyeing And here's an order Cole I came across. Here's our list of 1101 digital product ideals you can sell online now. I am not for May with the self I platform to my knowledge, I don't know anybody there sales on this platform. I do like that. They have a modern website and that says something. As far as I'm concerned because they're the other two website, I'm going to show you they don't. The websites were like, in my opinion, they're Spammy Clickbait ish and in the modern digital space, you don't want to do pushy, unethical sales tactics, not saying those sites were doing it. But that's just to feel when I go on a platform that I get but this they go into a list, some things that you can sale, and this is a really long list. I haven't read this. I just came across this, You know, this simple designs, all kind a stuff. So this platform self I and Shopify and my opinion is where if you taking a look at Intel on some additional research, that here is a platform that has been around for a while. The interface kind of strikes me is not the most user friendly again about on this platform I'm not recommended it. I'm just saying checking out. You can play the video here. It talks about features. Let's see everything you need to sissy sell on JV Zoo become an affiliate. Now this is interesting because what an affiliate he is. You pay someone a commission to sell your products. Who selling you pay them? A commission. Don't know much about JV Zoo, another platform that's been around, but it's tends to be like a spamming site. From what I remember now, the site may have improved, but I remember back in the day this site was seen as a spare me site. But you see that you can sell all kinds of products on here. I see what they have yourself help. The syphilis may go to itself. Help sold out. I sure okay, See, they have. These old people don't really buy CDs anymore. What? They have some stuff. That's what kind of gives me. Feel them, believe that it's ah, platform that's not keeping up with the times, because how many people buy CDs and DVDs and things like that motivational transformation. Let's see what this is about. Did it? Ah, I guess they even sell products and peels. Missing was innovation. Yeah, this is a see ideo They sell are the I guess you can look at that like an audiobook that's going to play me and jobs a cover letter c Amazing cover Later creator. Just all kinds of stuff. These are examples some level of homes, jobs, style of digital products with ease for websites to your own, where research is for us. If you want to either purchase or create a sale products for these websites. I'm just bringing them to you because I have heard of the websites and I want you just to take a look and see if it's a platform that you feel this honest and trustworthy, and we trust the picture products on the site.
13. Thank you CS: um, thank you very much for taking this course now it's time for you to go create. Remember what Reid Hoffman said. If you're not embarrassed by the first version of your product, you've lunch too late.
