About This Class
You have an Intermediate to Advanced level in French ? But you still find it difficult to understand native French speakers ? This course is going to help you improve your skills in oral comprehension !
There are many reasons why it's difficult to understand native speakers : they pronounce certain words in a specific way, they use certain phrases that you won't find in grammar books, they speak fast... That's why the only way to become better at it is to practise, again and again! Listen to French speakers as much as you can and test your understanding of the conversation.
That is what we are going to do here. First, I'll give you a few tips to help you understand French better. Then, you'll have five episodes about five different topics, and some questions of comprehension, with the correction at the end of the video. Don't hesitate to have a look at the translations once you're done, this will definitely help you too! Finally, you'll find a video with the most important words of vocabulary that you need to memorize.
At the very end of the course, you'll have a final project to complete. I hope you'll find this course useful. And don't forget you need to keep practising if you want to improve!

Hands-on Class Project
It's time to see if you have improved at understanding French! The final project is composed of two exercises : the first one is meant to test you on vocabulary and conjugation. You have learnt a lot of words and phrases during the course, and it's time to see if you have memorized them. The second part of this project consists in listening to a short video and answering some quick questions about it. Once you're done, you can check the correction - you'll find the pdf file in the resources.
