About This Class

We often think that creativity is something reserved for a few. The truth is—it’s in all of us. But somewhere along the way, between deadlines, doubt, and rules, we stop listening to it. This course is an invitation to remember.

I-Genius is not about mastering a tool. It’s about shifting how you see the world—and how you see yourself as a creator. It’s about learning to trust your instincts, play with ideas, and transform what’s inside you into something that speaks to the outside world.

Led by architect, designer, and educator Moshe Katz, this course combines intuitive sketching, storytelling, and hands-on exercises with the power of artificial intelligence. You’ll learn how to generate visionary ideas and use Artificial Intelligence (AI) not as a replacement, but as a partner in your process—one that supports and expands your imagination.

From abstract words to sketches, from shapes to AI-generated visuals, from object design to emotional storytelling—you’ll learn to bring ideas to life that feel deeply yours. You’ll build concepts rooted in memory, feeling, and intention—and turn them into images, objects, or experiences that surprise even you.

Whether you’re designing a sculpture, a building, a pastry, or something entirely new, this course will show you that you don’t need to follow a trend to be original. You just need to follow your curiosity.

And in a time when AI is everywhere, this course gives you the most powerful creative advantage: the ability to stay human, while designing what hasn’t been imagined yet.

1. Course Overview: What if your best ideas are already there waiting to be discovered? Hi, I'm Misha Katz, and welcome to I Genius. Unlock your creativity with AI. Creativity isn't about following the rules. It's about knowing when to break them. It's about asking different questions, seeing possibilities where others see limits, and pushing ideas beyond what seems possible. And now, with AI, you have the tool that can take your imagination further faster and make your ideas real in ways you never expected. This course is for everyone who wants to be creative. AI isn't there to replace your originality. It is here to push it further. You'll train your mind to think beyond conventions, explore new ideas, and use AI as a creative partner to generate concepts that go beyond what you thought was possible. We'll start by breaking down how creativity actually works, how curiosity intuition and experimentation shape the most original ideas. You'll re learn how to think freely, break patterns, and embrace the unknown. Then we'll explore five essential questions that every great inventor asks. What is it made of? How does it feel? What does it dream to be, and what if? These questions will be guided you in transforming abstract ideas into real sketches, structures, and designs. From the first rough idea to AI enhanced visuals, you'll build a creative process that works for you. You'll experiment, refine and push boundaries, combining hand down sketches with AI generated forms to create something completely new. Whether you're designing the future of architecture, crafting bold new products or re imagining artist expression, you'll learn how to merge intuition and technology into one seamless creative flow. By the end of this course, you won't just know how to use AI. You'll see differently, think boldly and create without limits. Let's get started. 2. Advantages of AI for Creatives: This lesson, we are going to go through the understanding of what creativity is. How can we use AI and the new technologies to enhance our creative process and to envision and come up with new ideas and new products or new discoveries altogether. So in this introduction, imagine just for a second, what if eonardo Da Vinci had AI. Instead of focusing on his sketches, he could actually go from them to the realization, the images that are the final products of his genius. So all of his inspiration, all of his research would lead instead of a sketch to a realistic image of a product that would sell immediately and make it sure that he is actually going for a realistic invention and product that can be realized with real materials. It will lead to images that live and have the potentials to show how the conditions of the environment and the materials and textures and all the life conditions are affecting the invention. What are the advantages of AI for all of us creators and inventors? So the AI can be an integral part of our thinking process, of our creative process, and our design process. It enhances our creativity skill and makes everything go much faster. It doesn't replace who we are as people and our human quality. It brings a new tool for us to use as creators and bring our inventions and our ideas and imagination. Next level. I can actually boost our confidence as creators once we start with some intuitive signs, a sketch, and idea. Then slowly we see how the AI takes us one step further into new dimensions and new ways of looking at things. An image of our sketch can very easily become the image of a design of a new creation and take us much further than we even imagine and go extreme. 3. Reality is Just a Recommendation: This is a very important lesson and a shift of our awareness to become creator geniuses, because the reality as we see it is very limited. If we are taking everything as a safe and secure element, whatever we see is already known and we have nothing new to discover, we know what a tree is because we saw infinite trees. But let me tell you if you are looking at reality with a sense of recommendation, maybe a tree can be a chair, maybe a tree can be a lamp maybe a tree can become a building. Maybe everything can be something else through this change of awareness. So give yourself that element of belief that within anything around you, there is a hidden secret, a hidden beauty that you are supposed to discover. This is your responsibility as a creator to find amazing things around you. So even though everything seems to be clear to you, try to see the new and the surprising element within anything that you observe. And always ask yourself, how is this connected to my field? If I am a designer, how would this element or this thing that I'm observing connected to my design? How can I take that or use this sketch or use this reference or the tree? And how is that a shoe? Maybe if I look at vegetables and I am in culinary and I want to discover new potentials, so maybe vegetables for me could represent a surface that wraps around the leg and becomes a shoe. So what do I learn from these textures and colors and combinations as a shoemaker? Let me read for you something that influenced my life as a creator and changed my perspective and my vision. It is a poem by Rilke and it says, If your daily life seems to be poor, do not blame it. Blame yourself. Tell yourself that you are not poet enough to call forth its riches. For the creator, there is no poverty or no poor in different place. What that actually means is that reality around you, Everything that you see in experience has a beauty already placed within it and it's your responsibility. You have to be the poet to discover those beauties and those inspirations. Start looking at life like a poet. Once you do that, this is where you develop your intuitive awareness. Self, is your life a result of intuitive voice within you, or is it from the reason of your mind within you? What is the part within you that is dominant? As a result of this answer, you will know how much room and space do you give to your intuition, which is the place where all inventions and all the genius is actually coming from. 4. Find the DaVinci within you: This lesson is the Da vinci within you, so how to dream, create a sketch, and realize it with AI. So let's go through a very interesting process and see how do we go from one step to another until we reach a final element which is a very innovative thinking product or invention. So the power of daydreaming is something that we need to rebuild within us almost like muscle that needs to grow. And the daydream brings us to new expressions and new ways of seeing things and inventing definitely needs a daydreamer. Let's do the process of giving life to a matter. This is the story of a material's life. The beginning moment of its birth, which is light. Let's imagine that everything started with a light, an energy, a form of energy that started as a light source and then became material eventually. So we take a life story of an element and see how it transforms slowly into a new innovative things. So we start with the cube and we ask, What is the life changes of the cube? So the cube is born. This is how he makes his first steps in the world. Then the cube changes as a second stage. He goes through different events in his life, different dramatic events, and then it changes to something more chaotic, something more dynamic, things are happening in his life. Then he realizes that he can actually deal and come to a certain balance with all of this chaos within his life and create a new order. This is the third point. And once he reaches that order, he can create a whole structure and new understanding of his life and then reaches point number four. This is the life of a cube. It started with a very simple geometrical shape, but look at how the events of life and the conditions changed it and eventually created the structure of a dome that has all these lights coming out of it. So the first step was understanding the birth of the shape itself, the geometry, how it started his own life, and what were the conditions. The second stage is the drama, the tensions of life and the conditions changing it from within, and then transforming it into a more flexible place in motion and movement, but not so chaotic, more imbalance and eventually transforming it into a new structure altogether. So what started as a cube eventually finished up as a dome structure of round elements. And what it represented for me is the place of a funeral home where everything is starting with life, we are born as lights. But when we finish our path and journey, we are returning to be lights, and we reach the sky again through a a beautiful sense of the material that expands from it's changing back to a light towards the sky. So this is what I understand for myself as an invention to a funeral home where every person that is passing becomes a ray of light that is radiating from the dome each one has a space of one ray that is seen in the evening or at night, and you understand even from the distance that this is where people are changing their material to light and become something more abstract and go back to the source energy that they came from. 5. How to Build a Concept as a Genius: So in this lesson, we are going to learn how to build a concept, an idea. This is one of the key principles for any genius and every inventor to come up with a concept with a story, with an idea that lead us towards the invention and the realization. Every concept is a story. It's a whole world of meaning. It starts with a word. It's the birth of every concept is a single word as we saw in the lesson before we talked about bloom. So the word Bloom was the beginning point, the birth point of our creation. So the DNA that we're looking for is the word that creates the whole story and the whole idea of our invention. To do that, we are going to the source to the etymology. Etymology is basically bringing forward where the word was born. What was the first meaning of the concept when we started let's go to the dictionary and we look at what the word was in its root. This is where we can actually move forward and use that as a source of inspiration. And also create a story through references, we look at them, but then we give them an alternative explanation and definition. We create an idea through it. Imagine we see these images. Let's start with the building. I will tell a story of this building and let's see if it is also applied to the other image. Let's imagine that the story of this building is white exterior structure that is made of holes and from those holes, we see green stuff coming out of it. Okay, so this is the structure, a white structure with holes, and we see all these greens elements coming out of it. Can I say the same thing to this reference, a white structure with holes and green stuff coming out of it? If I can say the same idea, the same concept, the same story, for both of these elements, it means that I can use each one of them to create the other. So if I looked at the building, I could have created this pastry dessert. If I looked at this dessert in a restaurant, I could have that as inspiration to create a new form of building.
