1. Blogging For Beginners How to Start a Successful Blog: So welcome to this training course on blogging. Now, I love blogging. And the reason that I love blogging is because, well, blogging has enabled me to never work a day in my life. And what I mean by that is if you've ever heard that old quote saying, find something you love and you'll never work a day in your life? Well, that is true when it comes with blogging. And especially in the blogging that I actually teach. Because I teach blogging about blogging, about your passion, plugging it by things that you're actually passionate about. Because when you can actually find something that you love to blog about, that's when it becomes so much easier. It becomes exciting to wake up in the morning. You become excited about creating content that's going to engage with users and that's super important, but engaging with user apart because there's a difference between good blogging and bad blogging. Good blogging, or let's start with bad blogging first. By blogging is where you just put up a blog and you start writing what I care or attention for who you're actually writing for. Good blogging is knowing who your target audience are, what kind of content you have to create. And then going ahead, I'm creating it. And when you do it with that, what is going to happen is you're going to get visitors coming to your site. They're going to read your content. They're going to enjoy your content and they're going to come back again. And again. I'm potentially they're even going to subscribe to your blog so that when you have a new post, they get updated. I may come back and read your content. And, you know, so if I go back to the point about you finding that passion, that's the start of our roadmap. Our roadmap for your blog starts with finding not passion, finding that niche. And then what we do is we find the overall niche. And then we look down deeper inside of that niche to find a niche that you can enter on dominate. You don't even have to dominate and not start. But over time as you start to build great content inside it, more and more people are gonna start picking your blog over your competition. So after that, what we do is we find great domain name for you. This is the name of your blog, so my name is Kiran boiled, so cure on Doyle.com or whatever in your blog is. We also look potentially a finding IT related to the niche that uranium, which is a great idea. After that, what we're actually gonna do is we're gonna get straight into creating your website or your blog. These ys, this is cool. I love this part of it and that's because this is the stuff that set your blog up correctly, that enables Google and the search engines to actually see you as an authority in your blogging niche, even before you've gotten started, there are certain things that you need to do that we'll just set you up correctly. This is a pretty big module. I'm not going to walk you through step-by-step, all of the things that you need to do. After we do that, what we're gonna do is we're gonna look for your audience. This is important. This is actually, this is what will set you apart from anybody else within your niche. This is the stuff where you go. It's a lot of research, okay? But you go and you look for watt. Your potential audience are actually looking for already. That's key importance because if they're not looking for what it is that you're writing, well then they're not gonna be finding you on the search engines and they're not gonna be able to come to your website and read your content. What we do is we go out and research the search engines and see what people are already searching for. And then we create content around that. And that leads me into the next module, which is the content creation element. Now in this, I showed you the whole process of creating great blog posts. I'll give you some templates as well that you can actually use them, but I recommend you use when you first start out. These templates are going to basically structure your blog posts in such a way that they are deemed authoritative by the Google spiders and then Google spiders in themselves at the little bits of software or algorithm that actually come an index your blog, which basically come find your content and put it onto Google. Okay, I'm being in all of these places as well. So I'm going to show you the exact template that I actually use them. You can download it on infinity in as well. Then I'm going to show you the way that I actually create blog posts, which is the coolest. I absolutely loved this. I love it. You're gonna love it too because it takes you, even if you're not a great writer, I'm turns you into a great writer. So there's a few different parts of the process in there. So after-death, what we're going to look at the next module is actually about monetizing your blog. So first off, I'm going to give you an overview of monetization of blogging software or blogs. Blogs, let's say after we've done monetization, you've got pretty much, you've got a great blog setup. You've got a really, really good blog setup, but we're gonna take it a step further. Now, I don't want you to start this section on unless you've finished all the rest of them, because this is the advanced section. This is where we look at email marketing. An email marketing is actually about building up subscriber lists of people using an auto responder software. I walk you through the whole process of doing this. I walk you through how to actually get people to sign up for your email lists. And it really does turn your blogging business into an automatic money generator. Because when people give you their email address, what they're doing is they're giving you permission to sell to them and to send emails to them. Once you build up that relationship with them, then you can recommend them great products. After that, what we're gonna do in the final module. It's really cool, okay? But it's eight hard-core. It is, we did keywords in module three. In this module, we're gonna take that next step. We're going to do advanced keyword research. And this is the stuff that I don't want you to touch this on yours. So happy with the other stuff, because this is the thing that's going to set your blog on fire. This is going to give you a never ending amount of content that you can actually create for your blog. So you're in for some really amazing amount of content in here, and I'm super excited that you've decided to actually make this journey, Whitney. Because blogging has enabled me to be free. It's enabled me to travel the world and pretty much do what I want to do things. The most important thing is doing what I love. I'm being paid for us. Hope that's what's gonna come for you to. With that said, let's get into this. It's exciting also. Oh, what am I saying? Send me a message to say hello. You know, I greet you into the training and remember I'm always here to help. Okay. Let's get into it. 2. Finding Your Passion - Correct Blogging Procedure: Welcome to the first real module in this training, in this build our blog bill of better blog training. And what we're gonna be doing in this specific lesson is we're gonna be looking at niches within niches, whichever new depend, depending on what you want to call it. But the reason that we're going to look at it is because sometimes it's very difficult for a person to actually choose what niche they actually want to enter into. And that can be sometimes the hardest thing for a person to actually do. What we're gonna do is we're gonna look at particular niches like that. There's a whole gamut of niches like there's a never-ending amount of niches that you can actually choose. I'm going to go through and look at a stack of them. We're gonna look at ones that potentially can make money. I'm not going to be looking at ones that potentially are interesting to you. We're gonna look at passions. We're gonna look at Hobbes. We're gonna look at trends to see potentially if there's something that you're interested in. And then at the end of it, what we're gonna do is we're just gonna do a short five-minute exercise. And it's five-minute exercise is going to get what is called your base niche. The base understanding of the niche that potentially you're going to actually go into. Not saying that it's going to be Denise you're going into, but we're gonna get a good idea anyway. That's only going to take about five minutes by the end of this training. What we're going to have by the end of this video training, what we're going to have is a good idea of certain niches that you can take forward from here, this is a great starting point. So let's get into it. Now. This video is for people who don't know what niche they actually want to be in when they're actually blogging. Because blogging is really fun. It's exciting. That's when you know what it is that you actually want to blog about. But what if you don't know what you want to blog about? You know, what, if you only have a little bit of an idea, a potentially a couple of different ideas. But you've heard blogging is good. Well, this section here on the selection is going to help cement your niche down. Okay, so it's gonna help you understand the different types of niche or niches that are actually available for you and potentially find the ones that you are actually interested in. By the end of this short presentation, what we're going to have is we're going to have your niche Chosen. Okay, so we're gonna have the niche of your blog chosen. As I said, if you already know the blog niche that you want to do, what? And skip past this niche selection, okay, and skip the dissection where we actually find domain names for your blog. The big three questions that I always ask when anybody comes to me and says, hey Karen, I want to start a blog, what should I actually do it? And I say, Hey, look, what are you interested in? I wait for them to answer me. And you'd be surprised. It actually can be a little bit difficult for a person to come up with what they're actually interested in. And here is the problem. Here is the problem, okay? It's this part here. It's, do people spend money in this niche or are there products that you can't promote? Their, the problems? People overthink the niche selection. Because what they're thinking of is, how can I, if I go and do something in a niche that I absolutely love, potentially there's no products to actually promote in that niche. So how can I make any money from actually blogging? And that is the wrong way to approach it. Okay, here is the simple truth about blogging in pretty much any niche, any blogging niche that you can actually come across, there are going to be products in it. That's just it, no matter what niche it is, there is always going to be a way that you can actually monetize your blogging efforts. And we will go into different monetization methods later on in the training. But for this time being, I just really want to give you that good introduction into these niche areas, okay? And I don't want you to think too much about, you know, are people spending money in the niche or their products in that niche. Because I'm gonna show you that there are products in these niches. Okay, so let's think about the first kind of thing people love to blog about. Hobbes. There is huge money, absolutely huge money in hobbies. And a lot of people create blogs and Hobbes, a lot of people create blogs about Lego. As you can see here. Lego is huge. Some of these cost an absolute fortune. If you have a hobby of Lego, potentially creating a blog about Lego is what you're actually going to do. And then you can monetize that blog in multiple different ways. Or what if you love fishing? Of course, there's gonna be a big amount of things that you can monetize your blog with related to fishing and golf and so many different hobbies that you can actually do. What if you're into fitness like passions? What if you're into eco living? What if you're into kind of like artificial intelligence? Again, there are products that you can utilize to actually make an income from your blog. Think here like UFC Reebok. Here's an eco living backpack that I have on the screen as well. And then you've got a thing called an education AI tutor, which is an artificial intelligence tutor for kids. So, so many different products, so many different niches. Or what about like, you know, potentially you want to blog about weight loss, or potentially you want to blog about sickness or health or diabetes or home repairs or echo conversions. You can do this. We can find products that you can monetize your website width as well. Now potentially as a blogger, you also provide services related to these things. So potentially you want to blog about obesity. Potentially you've overcome obesity through whatever means. You actually now provide a service for people associated with overcoming IBC obesity. Well then we can do that as well. There are always going to be things that we can find for you and your passion to actually convert into an income via blogging. A great way to look at things as well is to look at what is hot. So look at what is actually really good in your niche. Because when you start a blog, it's good to catch that Zeit geist of the moment. You catch the sign of the times. It's like what's big in the market at the moment. Can I get on board with that? Are people gonna come to my blog? Are they going to actually read it? And things like healthy living is absolutely massive, huge. This is the new, this is the new money. This is the new fountain of youth, healthy living, paleo diets, Zomba, you know, homeschooling, these kind of things. These are in trend. And if you're able to capture that with your blog, you can make some serious money on serious income as a blogger. But again, I'm just going to stress this. You can make money in pretty much any blog. But the only way that you actually really make money is this. You start, you start, That's really it when it comes down to blogging. At the end of the day, if you do not start because of analysis paralysis and overthinking, you are never going to make blogging as success. So what I want you to do is pick a topic that you like and that you feel you can write about. Because with a blog you've got to understand this is not something that you do for a week and then stop. This is something that you're going to need to put time and effort into. It doesn't matter if you're not an expert in it. You will become an expert over time because of your dedication to what it is that you're doing. I love this quote. Find a job you enjoy doing and you'll never have to work a day in your life. And that is so, so true. If you can find a niche or a topic that's associated with something that you absolutely love. It's going to be so much easier for you. It's going to turn your life into a really, really enjoyable life that you're happy to wake up to, that you're happy to put your effort into that you're happy to spend time on when it starts producing income for you as well. That's when it becomes, it becomes a game changer. It becomes a movement of your life into a positive direction. What I want you to do is I want you to a quick exercise for me, okay? I want you to grab a notepad and pen. And I want you to write down three things that you enjoy, that you are good at and that you would like to learn about. So as you can see for me, three things that I'm good at. Tennis, cooking, and writing. Well, I'm not really great at that as I like it. Okay. All right. So three things I enjoy travel, making money, reading three things I'd love to learn about our yoga, meditation and speed reading. So potentially they are blogs that I can go into. I don't want you to overthink this process at all. Okay. I don't want you to overthink it at all. So I just want you to grab a notepad and pen and write those things down. And when you've done, I want you to send me them via a link to my Facebook group, potentially, of my Facebook Messenger. Potentially, because I want to see what you're actually doing. I want to see that movement forward from you that basically says, hey, look cure on, I've made the first step to getting my blog niche done, and I'm ready to move on to the next step. So go ahead and do that and I'll see you in the next lesson. 3. Need Some Extra Help Finding Your Winning Blog Niche: So while finding my niche is pretty easy and I think I've explained it in a good way for you to be able to find it yourself. And as I say about niches as well, It's important to pick something that you really love because if you're gonna be starting a blog with something that you don't like or you don't know about, it's going to be so difficult for you to actually create great content. But if you are stuck and you just want some great ideas that potentially are going to get your juices flowing your brain kinda thinking, well then I recommend a website called exploding topics. What this basically does is this looks at key trends that are actually starting to explode all over the internet. It goes out and it researches what is actually being searched, what is arriving New. And then it shows you the growth pattern of that search as well. So here's an example. If we look about, let's, let's actually go to about here. We help investors and entrepreneurs find exploding trends before they take off. And that's a good thing. Okay, that part there before they takeoff, if we were able to find these trends before they actually take off and start creating content about them. Then potentially, we're gonna have a great way to monetize that in the future when we start to get lots and lots of traffic. Because here's the thing. Some of these trends, some of these trends before they even take off. When you're searching on Google, you can find pretty much no content. They're about them at all. So then you have the option or the a potential to actually steal your places onto Google for what people are actually searching because they're all brand new searches. If we go back to browse here, Let's look at this is over. There's a drop-down here. One month, three months, six months, two years, five years, ten years. If we look at five years, okay. It's kinda give us this here. As you can see, some are, some are blocked off for pro members only. Okay? But as you can see, all these growth graphs. So you can see it was five years ago and then the growth over this. So sessile, which is buy now pay later installment payment solution, has a growth of 7,600%. Garcia game, which is a mobile games, has a growth of 22,150%. Tiktok gods is growing 90 time X, 99 times x. So these are exploding as you see. There you go. This one is regular. These are exploding at the moment, which is absolutely massive. Card, which is actually a really cool side. I loved this, this site as well. It's really, really cool, great for making bridge pages this here. I know also if you pay for the premium subscription, which is $19 a year, you get ten, you have the potential to create ten squeeze pages as well. Swiss cheese plant. So let's click on this. House plant develops, holds in leaves, develops holds and leaves giving it a distinctive look. If you are kind of like if you have a blog related or you're thinking about creating a blog about gardening or indoor plants, then potentially the Swiss cheese plant is going to be a great blog topic that you can actually go after. Now potentially you could write fully about Swiss cheese plant or you can have it potentially bad house plants. But what you're seeing here is you're seeing a great topic that people are searching for. That potentially you have the option to actually jump on board. What I want you to do is I want you to come into here. I want you to search. You can search for what's in the last month to see what's kinda really growing. Now as you can see, Google Classroom is on a massive growth spurt. Psychological safety podcasts, microphones, neuro Education, Wow, that's a growth of 7,200%. I imagine this is that there is gonna grow huge, okay? But what I want you to do also is you can choose by your category potential of what you're actually looking for. Beauty company concepts, fitness, lifestyle, legal marketing, media, let's say pets. Okay. What have we got impacts? Pest pets, honesty, Alpha, Paul, Doug pool cleaner, a box. You see this peaked here. That basically means that potentially is here's the top point of it searches. I'm so when you see that when you see this piqued, I wouldn't not actually go for that. Okay, you're really looking for the exploding element here, hence the name exploding topics. Insect Tote Hotel, which is really big. So if you had a pet site and you were talking about insects hotels, potentially you could actually start getting visitors for insect hotels. But also you've got that idea here. You've got kind of like how to find some great ideas. But also if you just want stacks and stacks of ideas without going through this, what I recommend is coming to Google and typing in size exploding topics, okay? And you're gonna get 1160 results are potentially by the time you look at it, it's gonna be more results. And you can scroll down and see what kind of topics they actually have in here. So Caliber mind wonder, spray, snapper over gear, mangoes, top GG, Netlify beans out and you can go into these. So let's say you go into bean stocks. Okay, So bean stocks has clicked as peaked. So that 500% growth, 4,400 searches per month. Automated investment offering a subscription service. If you hadn't been able to find this, you would've been able to sign up on, promote this product on your website, are talking about this product on your website. If anybody signed up via your own links will then potentially you would've been able to make some money from the recommendation or a token of it. We move on to stuff like this later in the training. You can also in here if you wanted to click or just type in your niche or a potential niche, what it's gonna do plant-based diet. So you just put it in your main keyword. You see. Then it's going to give you a lot of ideas here for content, plant-based diet, ketogenic diet, plant-based. Oh, Matt, I don't know what an acronym for one meal a day. Okay. So that's pretty cool. I didn't even know that intermittent fasting. I've tried that. That's actually pretty cool. Eight hours off, 16 hours on I think it is that it or is it the other way about notice 16 hours, eight hours on potentially. I didn't know. All right. I did it for a while. I think it worked. But anyway, so you get the idea, got exploding topics, which is gonna give you some really, really great niche ideas. And do you know what? It's just fun actually going through it and seeing potentially what is going to actually take off and what you can jump on. As a new blog owner, start creating content that bed and start getting lots and lots of visitors to your website. So I hope you enjoyed this lesson. Let's move on to the next one where we're actually going to look at cementing your niche down. 4. Finding Your Blog Niche Gold: And now you have found your base niche. I'm super happy for you. Now in this video, what we're gonna do is we're gonna look at actually taking that a step further. We're going to look at taking the base niche that you have or the base niches that you have because potentially have about nine of them. And we're gonna look at actually bringing that down on, I call it downing. Okay, we're going to look at one downing, this niche. So we're gonna take it from the base niche to a niche, within a niche. Okay, so I'm gonna show you the step-by-step process of how to do this, the thought patterns actually behind it. And also if you do get a little bit stuck on how to actually do this, I show you how to find the ideas by using Google as well. So that's what you're gonna be doing in this video. So by the end of it, what I want you to have done is to actually have gone through all of your niches, looked at them, brought them down another level. And then I want you to choose which one you're going to go ahead with. Yeah, I know it's all moving very fast and that's what we've got to do. We've got to build that momentum super, super quickly. So that when we actually get into the creation of stuff were there, were buying, were right in it. So with that said, let's get into it. Right. Thank you so much. If you have already sent in your niches or your niches to me, I got an absolute stack of them and I have replied to absolutely everybody in there as well, so well done. Now that is only one step. What we have to do now is we've got to take those niches and we've got a break them down even further. We don't only have to break them down one level further. We can also break them down to levels further. But if we go to niche in that, then we're not going to have so much content that we're actually going to be able to create about, okay, this will be at the discretion of you. And also you can send me the niches as well. So you can send me your sub niches that you're going to create. And I can look at them and say, hey, that's pretty good or hey, maybe you've gone to niche in that. But I'll give you an example. So here is what I had. So you remember if we went back to the exercise, I had chosen ten is cooking, writing, travel, making money, reading, yoga, meditation, and speed reading. I'm often going on breaking these down. Okay, so tennis, I went to doubles tennis. Now, if I wanted to write about doubles tennis potentially, I could say, or maybe it was tennis. I could go tennis for men. Or ten is for beginners, or tennis for women, or tennis for left-handers, whatever it actually was, I could go, I created about that, but I've decided to go doubles tennis, to run a blog or by doubles tennis. Okay. How about cooking? I can say home cooking, but I could also say Asian cooking, but I could also say Street Asian cooking, you know, so there are many different things that I could do within that as well. Then about writing, I could talk about writing plays, but I could also talk about writing specific types of plays that I was actually interested in. Potentially travel writing. Okay, So travel writing is a great niche and it's something that I'm interested in myself. But what about why wouldn't it be kind of like travel writing in Southeast Asia or travel writing and said the miracle or travel writing in America, traveled writing in Greenland, something along those lines. Or travel writing as a single guy, travel writing as a single girl, travel writing as a married couple. Multiple different things that I can actually focus on, right? How about making money? Well, my niche is making money online, but I also make money from selling physical products as well. Making money online, making money online. When Instagram making money online with Facebook making money online would tick tock, making money online with YouTube. Google being making money with Snapchat. Okay, So these are all adaptable. Okay. How about reading? Kindle reading. So imagine it was kindled reading because Kindle is obviously awesome. I love Kindle. I could create a blog about the best way to get the most out of your Kindle. And it won't be a huge blog. But I am sure there is gonna be so much content and I can actually write or find ideas about that are gonna be associated with Kindle reading or how I, yoga, yoga is massive. How about yoga poses for men, over 40? Yoga poses for women after pregnancy? All of these different things in themselves could become blogs for me. How about meditation? Meditation for kids? That's a great one. Or how about meditation for men? Meditation for women, meditation for men over 40, meditation for women over 50. These are all blog ideas. How about speed reading? Speed reading for lawyers, speed reading for doctors, speed reading for students. All of these code become potential niches in my blog. So what I want you to do, just like you did in the first one, I want you to think, who can you write for or what would be your soap niche? Okay, so go ahead and give that a try. Now, look at there are no right and wrong answers to this at all. This is just you learning the process of looking into a niche a little bit more. And I want you to do this. Look, here's the thing. You can do this by searching on Google. So let me actually show you something here. Okay, so let's go to Google. You can go to Google and do this. Okay, so you could go tennis for kids, tennis for beginners, tennis for adults, tennis for toddlers. Ten is for life, tennis for even health. You can come here and get your ideas from Google. I don't recommend it to start with, or we could do like home cooking. Let's go home cooking, recipes, classes, adventure shows, business. You can do that. You can come to Google, you can look at Google and see if you can find ideas utilizing Google. But I prefer you to do it just off of water, you know? Alright. Just off of what it is that you actually know. The reason that I would prefer you doing it via what you know, is this. You know, it. You already are aware of it. And starting your blog with things that you're aware of is gonna help you succeed and build the momentum to grow that blog. From the start. You have options there. I recommend going with what you know, then breaking it down into other things that, you know, having ideas, having thoughts about them. But potentially you need a little bit of a hand and you want to use Google to do it. You saw how I did it there. It was very, very simple. So up to you. But when you've done this, I want you to check in with me. I want you to send me your blog niches again. So go off, enjoy this process. Spend a little bit longer than you did the first time. You are looking at the niches, but enjoy it, that is the most important thing. Enjoy the process and think to yourself, got them. Look at this is cool. I'm moving towards getting my first blog up and running. Go and do that. And I will speak to you soon. 5. Cementing Your Blog Idea: So by now, you've already found your base niche. You've found your one **** niche. And hopefully by this time, you've actually chosen the niche that you're going to move forward with. Because Dino on discourse, as you can probably tell already and as I said before, it works in a very step-by-step fashion. If you complete the content, then the next step is going to make so much more sense to you. And that really makes sense in this video. Because in this video what we're gonna be doing is we are gonna be actually getting down your overall idea for your blog, okay, so we're gonna go into the thoughts behind your blog on what you're going to be finding is you're gonna be finding the top five ideas that you're actually going to cover within your blog. This is fun, this is really exciting. This is where you get to be creative and you get two. You get to imagine the great things that you're going to actually write about, the things that you want to talk to people about, the message that you actually want to share. I'm super excited for this one because with this one actually, we will be revisiting this piece of content that you create multiple times. So look, if you don't get it right the first time, don't worry about it. Just do it again. Do it again until you get it right and again until you get it right and again until you get it right. But you will get it right. Okay. So with that said, let's get into it. So in this short video, what I want to do is I want to talk about your blog, your idea, you've already chosen your niche, then you broke that niche down further. You send me the information about it. So you've started to choose, you started to come up with that idea of what your blog is actually about, okay? So you've broken it down and you're feeling good about a particular topic. What I want you to do now is choose that topic to make that decision. Now I know this can be actually quite difficult, but here is how I see it. Choose the thing that jumps out at you the most, no matter whether you think that you're gonna be able to actually make money from it or anything like that. I want you to choose what jumps out at you the most. Because that's the thing that is going to make you actually say, and it's gonna make it not that make you actually say, it's going to make you actually feel good about creating the blog. Because this is about blogging as much as it is about turning something that you absolutely love into something that takes over from your nine to five job. So what I want you to do is that once you have that, what I want you to do as well. I just want you to write, looking at my screen here. I just want you to write what your blog is gonna be about. And as you can see, I have written here what my blog is about and it's not big. I'm not asking for a business plan on what you're actually going to create your blog on. I'm just asking for a few sentences about what it is. Now. Here is what my blog is going to be about. It's gonna be about living in Asia and leaving the nine to five and the benefits of it. For me, something that I did back in 20092010, I just packed up, I left the UK and I'm moved to Asia. And I have never looked back since then. I absolutely love it. And it has allowed me to have so much freedom in my life and enabled me to basically live how I wanted to live. That is what my blog is going to be about. What am I going to talk about inside of this? Okay, So let me just put a note in here. What will I talk about? And I want you to do this as well. Here's what I have. I would like to share my journey along the way to becoming free of the constraints of the nine to five. So there's a massive area to share my journey about how I became free of that. And the advice that I would give to people associated with that kind of topic. There's one. Then I'm gonna talk about the goods and the bads and the pitfalls, but also the massive benefits of actually doing that. Of packing in the nine to five. Then actually leaving your home country. Going on being in a different part of the world or a different country, or a whole new scenario than what you would have done before. So I'm gonna talk about that. What else? I'm gonna talk about how a person can start and how they can make sure that they actually set things up correctly before they go. Alright, I'm also going to talk about what to do when they are there. Because here's the thing like this is me like this is because you can see that this, I'm interested in this so I can talk about it. Here's the thing, making sure that you understand the requirements of the countries that you enter. The things like vaccinations, especially now in the COVID era, laws, police policy, etc. That is super, super important. And people who go to these countries who are thinking of starting this nomadic life away from their home country. The export life, let's say people who are thinking of doing these things. They've got to know how to act in these countries. They've got to know how to be, they've got to know the requirements, They've got to know the goods and the bads of one is actually going on within that country so that they can stay 100% on the side of the law. Because potentially something that was in a person's country might be completely a 100% illegal in a different country. And that could cause untold issues. I'm going to educate my readers about those things. So I want you to do the same. I want you to write down, write down a bed, five to ten points about what it is, the kind of the topic areas that you can write about in your blog. Let's put it here. So what I will talk about and then we're just gonna put five to ten topic areas. So first of all, I want your blog, your blog idea. Then I want for you we'll talk about. And as you can see here, I've got a couple of different ones here. There are five areas that I have found that I can talk about. What I want you to do is do exactly the same. Now, I want you to write them down. I want you to think about it. One of the things that people do need to know about the blog that you're actually interested in creating. And look here, here's what it is. Again, you don't have to be a 100% correct with this. There is no right and wrong answer to this at all. This is only about getting your ideas down onto paper. What I want you to do is I want you to think about it. I want you to walk around, go out, think about it. Woke up the street. If you need to get your juices flowing, get your brain juices flowing, and think, what would people like to know about my blog? Or what would people like to know about my niche and what can I, what kind of content can I create? What would be important to them? And when you've done that, I want you to write it down. Just like what I have here. I want you to send it to me in my check-ins. I want to check in which you want to make sure that you move on to this next step of your blog creation. You see that I'm interested in this idea here, which is about living in Asia and leaving the nine to five. What is it that you're interested in? What is the value that you can share within that that people should know about. So go ahead and do that and I look forward to seeing the results that you give me. 6. Choosing Your Winning Blog Name: You are absolutely flying along and you found your base niche and you found your one down niche. And you've also found are created the idea for what your blog is going to be about and the five topic areas that you're actually going to cover in there. Now we're not stopping this momentum. So what we want to do in this video is we want to actually find your domain name. Your domain name is gonna be the name of your blog. Now potentially you already have a name in mind for this. But here's the thing. Most people don't. If you haven't done it yet, don't worry about it. Because what I'm gonna do in this video is I'm gonna show you the whole again, the thought process behind the blog name choosing and also the steps that you need to do an alternate things that you should definitely not do as well. And then I'm going to show you a cool tool that I use to find niche blog names that are basically just available for you to go click and buy right now. So this is super cool. Again, let's not stop this momentum. Let's get this, actually don't. So we can get this blog up and running as soon as possible. So with that said, let's get into it. You know, coming up with your blog idea is that's really exciting. It's a fun part of it. Coming up with the ideas that you're gonna write about. Again, it's really, really fun. Now we're actually getting to a part where most people fall down. They have real, real issues when it comes to this part. And this is actually choosing a domain name for their blog. If you don't know where the domain name is, the name of your blog. So you understand what a website is. The website name is what is called a domain name. And people have so much issues with finding good names for their blog. Here's the problem. What happens is you're going to see, let's say that my name is Lindsey, Okay. And let's say Lindsay wants to write about travel. But Lindsay doesn't understand how to actually brand her blog in the right way. Lindsay just goes and actually purchase a domain called Lindsay's blog. Okay, and that is the wrong thing that you want to be doing. You want to be choosing a blog name that is associated with the niche that you're actually in, right? So we know this, but how do we come up with names? Okay? How do we come up with names for our blogs that are actually brand double? That's what I'm gonna show you a cool little tool in a moment that's going to take all that worry, all that stress away from actually finding blog names. Because here is the truth. If you build a blog, as we've discussed before, there's a potential to sell that blog. But if you build a blog on a domain name like Lindsay's blog.com, the ability to sell that blog is a lot more difficult because it just shuts the market out. The brand name is Lindsey, so it's associated with Lindsay. But if it's something associated with travel, it's far easy to actually sell that in the future to accompany that are looking to increase their travel website portfolio. So we've got to look for website names associated with the niche of the blog that you're actually in. For me, I'd be looking for blog names associated with digital lifestyle, leaving the nine to five and nomad lifestyle. So they're kind of keywords associated with the type of blog that I'd be looking for. Or potentially, you were writing a blog about animals. Maybe you love animals, okay. Maybe you want to write a blog or with pets in the name or cats or dogs in the name, or koalas in the name, whatever it actually was. So what you want to start doing is you want to start writing down singular words associated with the kind of the width the brand blog that you're actually trying to create. So for me, I can put in digital or nine to five or no Matt. Okay. So they're the things that I'm going to look for. Or how about potentially you want to do a health and fitness blog. You're going to do things like fitness or health or gym or workout. You want to have multiple types of keywords that can be actually used with your blog. And potentially you can join multiple keywords together. Or what have I cooking? Maybe you want to do a blog on cooking. Maybe you want to talk about food, maybe you want to talk about shifts. Maybe you want to talk about a country associated with them, maybe French cooking or something along those lines. But here is another thing as well. When it comes to blogs, when it comes to your blog name, you want to try to make sure that your blog name is under ten characters. The reason that you want to make sure that your blog is under ten characters. So you see HER ACT ERS is because any ideas, Well, it's easier for people to make mistakes with names when they are too long. That's one. That is number one. We got some rules here. Okay? So number one is it's easier to make mistakes when they are over ten characters. The shorter your domain name, the better. Number two is. We don't use hyphens. You know what a hyphen is? It's this dash. We don't use hyphens in our domain names. All right? Number three is, we don't use numbers in our domain name, so there's my nine to 51. Boom. Nine to five is added there. And we don't use numbers in our domain names. We've got three rules under ten characters. We don't use hyphens, we don't use numbers in the domain names. Here is another big one. Here is another massive one. We don't use slang. What I mean by this, if you're writing a blog about dollars, you don't write DOL dollars like that. If you start to use slang terminology in the in the domain name that you're actually creating. It's going to be a lot difficult. It's gonna be a lot more difficult for people of multiple cultures to actually understand what that blog is about when they're typing that blog in. Let's say they heard, let's say somebody said, hey, you know, have you read you read the blog dollars. And they go, no, I haven't, but I'll go and check it out. What that potentially do is they'll go and write that in to the address bar. So they would put in dollars, DO ALL ARS.com. They wouldn't put in dollars. Or they might go to Google and they'd go dollar, blog, DO ALL ARS be LOG. So what's happened immediately is the person who started dollars.com has lost so much potential traffic already because they've utilized slang terminology or shortening of words or replacing letters with numbers in their tech or in their domain name. Another one would be innovate IN NOVAC, innovate.com. Alright, so we want to stay away from these things. So we're going to put a big line through that there. None of that stuff there. We got four rules under ten characters, no hyphens. We don't use numbers in our domains and we don't use slang. Now, you have some ideas here, right? I want you to take your singular keywords. So if you're having problems finding singular Keywords, best way to do it is let's say you wanted to do, let's say your your, let's say your blog was on fitness. So what you do is you just come to fitness. You type in fitness and then synonyms. Just type in synonyms and find different ways that people actually say it, say the niche that you're interested in. Strength could be pretty good at Atlanta CISM, justness, aptitude, readiness. Are they relevant? You're going to know it because it's your niche. Okay? So once you've found the list of keywords, potentially more than the three that I've shown you here. What we're gonna do is we're gonna search for domain names. Now, let's come to here. This is called Lean domain search. This is the coolest website I know to find the main names, brand double domain names that you can use for your blog. Let's say we wanted to, if we go back to Google here. And fitness. Let's say we wanted to use strength. Vigor V I GO your EUR. The reason that I'm choosing that is because that's quite a, you wouldn't think it'd be very many domain names associated with that. Or that how are you going to make that into something that sounds cool and something that people will click on. Okay, we're just going to click Enter. What's going to happen is linked domain search has gone away and actually found 4,836 available.com domain names related to vigor. You got vigor ink, vigor side figure, TV vigor pro, smart vigor, vigor live vigor, search, click figure, just vigorous shelf vigor, huge amount of domains. So your, your, your responsibility, but it would be to go through and choose a domain name that appears here. You can, you can sort by length. So it goes from the shortest down to the longest. You can sort by alphabetical as well. But you can also search for starts with the term or ends with the term. Can be above vigor or absolute vigor. Now you see something like this absolute vigor that's actually pretty cool for a, for a website. Because it's two words that we understand. It is over ten characters. But still, I'd let that go because I think that's pretty cool. What about you like if you were in the fitness niche and you saw a website that's an absolute vigor. You'd know what that was about, wouldn't you? You'd probably click on that and go, Yeah, that sounds like a good block. That's what I wanted you to do. I want you to use them as rules, as guidelines, okay? So once you've chosen that, have a click on it, see if it's available. Okay, So this figure is still available. That's absolutely awesome. Okay. How about nomad? Alright, so this is for me, this is no Matt. Okay. So abacus, I wanted I wanted to start with nomad. I think it's a good thing for me. Want to start with length as well. Nomads, nomadic lock, nomad sink. You know, I could even put into words here. We can put it in nomadic life. Let's see. All right, no modern life. Co, know my life now, know my life. Mag, know midlife, fun. That's pretty cool. Quite like that. No, My Life top. There you go, You get the idea of what Lean domain searches. What I want you to do is using these four rules here. I want you to find your domain name. Now I don't want you to register that domain name yet, but I want you to find it. What jumps out at you? What really jumps out at you. If you can find that now, we're going to be able to set up your blog much quicker. And here is the thing with this. Don't overthink it. Biggest causer to blogs neck at it not getting started is people overthinking the small things. By utilizing this way to actually find a good blog, you're going to be able to build something that is not only monetizable in the future, but also has the ability for you to sell it in one to two years for massive profit. So have a look at lean domain search. Makes sure that you're looking at the criteria to actually choose the domain. And when you've chosen your domain, send it to me and we can discuss it, or maybe even send me a few of them and we can discuss it. I hope you enjoyed this video. I'm looking forward to seeing what you choose. So yeah, get it to me and I will talk to you soon. 7. Registering Your New Blog Name: Wow, what a module you just had. It was, I'm sure I went by super quickly for you because that module in itself was like why it does go through really, really quickly. That's the base of what you're actually going to be creating. All of the things that you actually did in that module. I know they've seen super easy to actually do. Put those things are going to stand the test of time. So you've found your niche, you found your domain name. You have the idea of what you're actually going to create. And now what we need to do is we need to buy that domain name. So in the last module, you found that domain name. You went through all the things you've made sure I didn't have hyphens, you made sure it was easy to read all of these different things. Now, very simply, we're gonna actually go and buy that domain. I'm going to use a company called name cheap.com to actually do this really simple process. Again, let's get into it. At this stage, you would have already found your domain name. So you potentially have founded via using lean domain search. Now in order to register that domain, I use a website called named cheap. Now there are multiple different websites where you can actually register domains and they're called domain registers. Name cheap is my preference, but there are other ones. You've probably heard of a place called GoDaddy, which is probably the biggest domain registrar in the world. But Name Cheap. I liked them. You know, there are very easy to use. I never have any problems with them, unlike GoDaddy, which can be a pain in the book. So I'm recommending named cheap to you. Once you've basically found your domain name, what you're gonna do is you're going to come here and you're going to register that domain name. You're going to put in your domain name in here. So mine is no mod is now. And I'm going to do a search. And I know that this is available already because I was just looking for it. So there we go. No, Maddie is now is available. That is gonna be the domain name of the new blog that I'm actually creating. I'm just going to click Add to Cart and then I'm just going to go to checkout as well. Now, if you haven't done this already, they're going to ask you to set up an account, okay. So make sure that when you're doing it, you put it in all your details, et cetera, et cetera. You'll come through this process here. You can choose your domain registrar for one year or two years. And for two years it's $20 or $18.12. Okay, as you can see, just discounts already applied. If you want to search for discounts online, you can also do this. So you could go name cheap promo code or name cheap discount code or something like that. Then what you basically do is if you're brand new, you can pretty much get your domain names for super, super, super cheap. But because I'm not brand new, I can't get these discounts. But you'd let say, look at here's a name cheap, ninety-seven percent discount coupon. What you can basically do is find where the coupon is, 97%. Is this extra ninety-seven percent of any order during Black Friday. Alright, so that's an old coupon. Basically go through and see if you can actually find these coupons for you. You could save yourself some dollars along the way. When you've done that, once you find a coupon, you can just paste the coupon into here and click apply. And what will happen is you'll get your discount applied to your order and it will bring down your subtotal. So I'm just going to click Confirm Order. And it's going to ask me to create a new account or it's going to ask me to login. The same thing. You're just going to create your new account or you can create it before you purchase your domain name as well. But I'm just gonna log in. And what it's going to do next is this just gonna bring me to the page where it's going to say, do I want to use a secure payment card or do I want to use my my PayPal? There we go. I'm going to use PayPal. Once I've done that, I'm just going to click Continue. There we go. Okay. They've used it. Check out with PayPal domain name, just makes sure that I'm correct with this. No mod is now I also get free domain privacy for one year as well. Once I'm happy with everything, I'm just going to click checkout with PayPal, going to ask me to login. Then because I have a PayPal balance already inside of here, I can just click Continue and it's going to register that domain forming or it's gonna pay for that domain for me. You could do this via PayPal, you could do this via your own credit cards, whatever it actually walls or your debit card or confirmed payment orders. There we go. Okay. So thank you for your purchase, domain name, registration, etc, etc. All is good. All is good for me. That's how simple it is to actually purchase your domain name. Once you've found it using something like lean domain search, you come to name cheap and you order your domain name just like I showed you there. 8. Setting Up Your First Blog In 5 Minutes: That we're not stopping this momentum at all. And I'm super happy because you know what you're gonna do in this one. Well, you're going to take that domain name, you're gonna go, you're gonna sign up for your first blogging platform. So what I mean by that, you're going to actually sign up for a company that is going to host your website. And what I mean, my hosting is this. Every single blog and website than his own line needs a thing called hosting. This is a paid service and I use a company called dream host. What dreams most will do, it will allow him to create a blog for free using a platform called WordPress that enables you to create that blog. Boom, like that almost instantly. So what we're gonna do in this video is we're going to sign up for dream host. We're going to connect your domain name to the hosting company so that it actually shows up online. But not only that, we're going to create your first blog, we're actually going to create your blog that you're going to start building on writing upon. And this is child's play guys. They say so, so easy. So just follow along with what I'm saying in here. Well again, let's get into it. Now in order for you to get your domain name and your website online, you're gonna need what is called hosting, the hosting of choice for your blog that I use presently in a few of my different blogs is dream host. One of the reasons that I like it, especially when starting out, is that they have really good deal zone at present. Not only that, they have an amazing performance record. So the performance of your website, it's actually on dream hosts, are super, super good, but not only that, their customer service is awesome, Any problems with customer service, they are on hand to help you with any issues that you may come across. Okay? What we're basically going to do is we're gonna go to hosting here. So you're gonna come to dream host. And you're going to come to hosting and you're gonna come to shared website hosting. Once you're in here, what you're going to do is click SEO plans. It's gonna basically show you this here. It's going to show you world-famous website hosting, monthly, one-year or three-year. I recommend getting it for one year. When you're paying monthly, the price actually goes up. When you're paying yearly, price goes down when you're paying three years I over three years, the price is even lower in terms of the overall savings that you actually get from it. I always choose one year anyway. Now, you're not going to be choosing this shared starter. Well, you're gonna do is you're going to choose to shared unlimited. It's exactly the same starting price. You save over 79% on monthly. And why I liked the shared on limited Is this. In the shared starter, you only can put one website up with the hosting plan. But in the shared on limited, you can put unlimited websites up as well. But also with the shared starter. You cannot add any e-mail addresses. So an example would be if I purchased the shared starter, I wouldn't be able to make an email address for my domain name. So I wouldn't be able to make kiran at Nomad is now.com. That would be the same for you, but with the shared unlimited, I can I can make as many email addresses as I actually want. You also get things like website builders, free automated WordPress migrations, all of these different types of things that you don't really need to know about to actually set up your blog. So what I'm gonna do is I'm just going to click sign up. So just make sure that you come to the page that looks like this. Okay, So we've already picked our plan, our shared unlimited. Now they're going to basically say you get a free domain would all your width, width the packages, but I recommend getting it from named cheap anyway. What you're basically gonna do once you come here, you're going to click, I already have a domain. Then what you're gonna do is you're just gonna put in your domain name. And you're going to click Assign. And again, they're gonna, it's gonna come to the payment details section and you can choose credit card or PayPal, makes sure that you're pretty happy with all of these things. Actually here I want to make sure you do not need this dream shield protection. You do not need it at all. All. You need pre-installed WordPress, WP website builder. So they're fine, they're free. You don't want to put a anymore of this stuff on here because they're not really needed for you. And I'm gonna show you how to do the SEO and stuff like that. So that's, that's important for you. But if you look at it there, so to get your website online with your, with your domain name as well, it's only like 35 books for the first year, so that's absolutely awesome. So you're going to fill in your name, your details, etcetera, etcetera. What it's gonna do, you're gonna put it in your email address, sign up with Google. I recommend signing up with Google. Okay. Make sure that then you're just going to click Submit Order. Once you've done that, you're going to be brought into the panel of dream host. And that's where we're going to now. By now you would have gone through the process of actually putting in your credit card details, creating your account, etc. So I left that up to you. But what you're going to be faced with is a control panel that looks like this. Okay, so you're going to be redirected to a page like this. One has already happened, is your website has already been set up using your domain name. Okay, so, which is absolutely awesome. Your website has already been set up using your domain name. So what you'd need to do when you're in the control panel here is you're gonna come to websites, manage websites. When you come to this page, it's gonna look very similar to this. Now as you can see, this is a bit blank doubt here because that's another affiliate Website that I actually run on this account. Okay, so as you can see, WordPress has been successfully installed. You might or might not see that message. But what you are gonna see is your website here on all you need to do now is click Manage. Alright, so what it's basically gonna do is gonna ask you to show your login details. That's for your files, then manage databases. You don't need to worry about these kinds of things, okay? But what you need to be worrying about is not even worrying about is this here, WordPress content management system that you're just going to click Manage. Okay, so we've come to a problem here, okay, and thesis good that this problem has actually happened. So what's happened is my domain name that I've put in here that I registered on Name Cheap is not connected correctly to dream host. Hosting. This potentially could happen with you as well. So we've got some steps that you can actually take to remedy this. So what I'm gonna do is I'm just going to close this and I'm going to back into Dream host here. But I'm gonna come over to my domain names, okay, so domain and then I'm gonna come to manage domain. So this is gonna be if your website is not setting up correctly, here is the troubleshooting for this. So you're gonna come to domains, managed domains. You're going to come to your domain name and you're going to take what is called in DNS. Once you're into DNS, these basically are called domain name servers, okay? And these are important. Basically this will connect name cheap and dream host together. We need just this one and this one potentially the three of them, Let's go into name cheap and add these into Name Cheap. So we're gonna come over to name cheap. Let's say you come back over to name cheap and you want to log into your account, okay, so you're gonna come to your dashboard inside of named cheap, and you're gonna find your domains. Okay, so here it is, no mud is now we're just gonna click Manage. Next. What we're going to actually do is we are going to come to customer. We're gonna come to name servers, which is here. We're just going to click custom DNS. Okay? Next of all, we're just going to come to our dream host and click Copy. Come back the name cheap, paste that in there. Because the world we're gonna go to number two, we're gonna copy that, come back and paste it in there. And then we're gonna click Add name server. I'm gonna do the same thing back to three click Copy. And we're gonna paste it in there. Okay? We're gonna scroll down and click Save wherever save is. If savings here. Save As this, makes sure that you locate this inside here. So it's the green button that says Save. What this is going to basically do is this is going to connect your website up with dream host. Once we're in here. Now this might not happen super quick. It could take a few hours for it to actually come into place and connect properly. But we're gonna refresh our Name Service to see if it's already worked. It's checking. We are currently checking what are your domains DNS records have propagated. Okay. So it's basically, it's saying that my name servers are our dream host, which is great. Name servers are great. Okay, so that's brilliant. That has actually worked for us. So let's refresh it again. We are currently processed in Europe Day. Feel free to make additional changes and we will update your progress accordingly until the requests are live on dream host name servers. Potentially, my website on your website is active. Now, what we're gonna do is we're just going to come into manage websites again, which would be here. I'm just gonna click website. Then we're just going to come to here which would be manage. Is it going to work? Is it going to work? Potentially, potentially not know. It hasn't, it hasn't actually gone back waded yet. If we click on DNS, you can see that it is. So I'm going to pause this for a few minutes. And then once it's live again, I'm going to show you the next step of this. It's now about 20 minutes later. Let's go and have a look here. Let's take manage. Okay, Excellent. So here we are. This is basically the inside of my new website, and it's also going to be the inside of your new website. And then potentially you didn't need to go through all of that rigmarole, but I actually just went through and you got your websites set up much easier. But if you did have issues like that, well then you've now got the map that will actually show you how to actually fix that as well. So don't worry, here's one of the things that happens with digital marketing. You come across problems. And then next of all, or with digital marketing, I'm blogging, you come across problems. Now, there's always going to be a way to solve that problem. So don't ever give up when you come across these things because there's always gonna be a solution to that problem. So here we are inside my WordPress dashboard, my website dashboard. It's also this is what yours is going to look like as well. In the next video, what I'm gonna do is I'm going to give you an overview on all of the insights of this. Then what we're gonna do is we're gonna set it up by adding things called plugins. And we're also going to add themes onto it to give it a nice look and feel, to give your new blog a nice look and feel. So you go ahead if you haven't set up your website yet, go ahead and actually do that via dream host. Now, I recommend dream host in this, but I do use other hosts as well for different projects and different blogs. I've used A2 hosting, I've used Bluehost, I've used WPF. They are all extremely good. But dream host actually, I really loved the back-end of dream host. I really love this area inside dream hosts. I think it's just lovely. I think it's very easy to actually use. And I also think the use of support in here is really good as well. So go ahead and get your website setup on. In the next video, we're gonna go and we're actually going to go and setup the whole backend of your website. 9. Understanding Your Blogging Platform: So you've connected your domain name. You've got your, you've got your WordPress blog set up. Hopefully it's up and running by now. If not, don't worry it give it a little bit of time and it won't get live for you. But what I'm gonna do in this video is I'm gonna give you an overview of how to use your administration panel or dashboard inside of WordPress. And it's super, super simple, but it's so important. And the reason that that's so important is this is where you're going to manage everything up your blog. This is where you're gonna be going on creating posts, replying to comments. I have immediate like images and videos and all of those different types of things and also making your website look beautiful, which is super key. And we're going to run into that in a little bit. But pay special attention to this and the next few videos over here. Because these are the things that when you learn how to do them and you're happy with your first blog. Well then you're gonna be able to create another blog. I didn't know their blog, Anna know their blog if potentially that's what you want. But we're going to go over an overview of the dashboard here for you. So let's get stuck into that. Here we are inside the dashboard and what I want to do is I want to give you an overview of the dashboard first before you start utilizing it. So this is your WordPress dashboard. Now the first page here that you save Would you will experience something very similar to this, is just an overview of your dashboard, okay? So it basically has some elements that are associated or that are important to your website as a whole. So it has this here, which to be honest, I don't even use. The only one you'll be using 3D from here is WP forms. Wp forms basically is what is called a plugin and it allows you to collect people's email addresses on your contact page. Okay, So it allows you to create really cool contact page. You don't need anything like that. News elements or anything that's just not even needed. Anything else down here, site health status, that's OK to actually look at from time to time. So it usually has a link to go to a site health screen. And that will tell you if your website is performing well in the search engines, if there are any issues potentially that might be going on with your website as well. And then you've got things like this out Atlantic, it tells me how many posts and pages and comments are on my website already. It also tells me what WordPress theme I'm running. That WordPress theme basically is the look of your website. Basically a theme allows you to change the different look and feel of your website and you can find those themes or templates for free and also for paid. We're going to be used a free, using a free theme. Then you've got activity here. So obviously these are all predawn by WordPress, seeing as this is only a new installation. And then he got things called SEO news. To be honest, you don't really need to be dealing with any of this stuff here at all. I don't I very seldom look at any of this information on the dashboard. This is just like the homepage of your WordPress dashboard. Okay, so up at the top, if you want to have a look at your site, just go to visit sites. What you're going to see is this is what your website is pretty much going to look like initially. So don't worry, it looks absolutely terrible, but at least it still is an active website. We're going to make sure that we change all of that. The main things that you're gonna be dealing with is this section down here. Home is basically your homepage, as you can imagine is the dashboard page. Then there's a thing called updates. So this updates section, you might see a button like this, like so with a red number. Okay, So besides updates and that's going to tell you if you have updates that you need to do on your website and you come in here and then if the updates appear here, it's gonna say these need to be updated and you click on them to update them. Okay? To be honest, I don't know what inspirations is. It's only new here. This is a new feature in here. Don't even deal with that stuff at all. Don't worry about inspirations. The most important things that you're gonna be dealing with our posts, media pages. These are where you create your posts. If you want to create a new post, you click add new. You want to look at all the posts that you actually have on your website. This is creating a new post. Cities is looking at all of the posts you have on your site. There's only one on the site so far. This is actually creating a new post. We're going to change the look and feel. Skip the setup. We're going to change the look and feel of this whole section anyway, so don't worry about that at the moment. So I'm going to click off of those two. And again, thanks if all you've got your media. Now this is your library of all of your media. Now your immediate includes things like images. It includes things like videos at clues, things like PDFs, and you can add that into here as well. I'm going to show you how to do that. Actually, let me just show you quickly. So let's say you can drag and drop files into here, or you can select it from your desktop. And you can upload it into here as well. As you can see, it's super, super quick to add media into your website. Now, most of the time when you're adding media into your website, you're gonna be doing that inside of the articles or inside of the posts or pages that you're actually creating yourself. An article and post are exactly the same thing. I just used them. Interspersing, interspersing the name, let's say. Alright, so that is what your image will look like when you uploaded via the media section. And you only want to focus on this section. I'll go more into this, but the only section you will be focusing on all of the image when you're writing is called the alternative texts. And you will put keywords related to what the image actually is inside there, More on this later. So don't worry if that sounds a little bit confusing to you at the moment. Okay. Next of all, you've got your pages, so you've got posts and pages. Pages are very similar to post. The only different web pages are that they are evergreen posts, which mean they are not constrained by time. So these are the really important pages that you actually put, are the really important content that you actually put onto your website. There It's like your about us page, your contact us page, then those things aren't going to change. But also it can potentially be things that you are selling that aren't going to change very often. Services that you provide that aren't going to change very often and that you tell the search engines are very important on your website. So we create pages that are important for your website, for your blog comments is where you're actually going to see comments that people have made on the posts and pages that you've actually created. Then you've got this thing, WP forms. Now, WP forms, as I mentioned before, this basically is how you create your contact form on your website. So we'll go through actually creating that in the content page section. Next two volt down here we have what is called appearance. And this is associated with the look and feel of your website. This is where you will add your theme into your website to make it look good. You'll also be able to customize the different elements of your website to make sure that it's performing in the way that you actually wanted to perform and look, and I will show you how to do this utilizing the free theme that I'm going to show you when I go into the theme setup for your blog. And you don't need to deal with these things. But what you will be dealing with is this here. Now this is plugins. This is super important. You already will have a number of these plug-ins already installed on your website. These come pre-installed with the Installation via dream host and via different hosting servers. Now, sometimes they will be the same, other times there'll be different. So don't worry if the plug-ins that I asked you to thought I say unnecessarily on your website are not here. I'm going to show you how to install them for free on your website anyway. So all you'll have to do is go, alright, well, that plugin is not here, so I can install it using the Add New button here. And then basically all you do is you search for the plugin in the search plugins bar here. That's really, plugins are really cool. They extend the functionality of your website and they enable you to do cool things like being an SEO, collecting people's email addresses using contact forms, defending your site against hackers plus so many other different things. The next part is users. Let us is really important. I should've mentioned this at the start of the video, but this is where you add new users to your website, but it's also where you change the password of your website. So if you followed my instructions so far, you've logged on here and you haven't changed your email address, your email, but you haven't changed your password. What I want you to do is I want you to take a note of your username. This is the username that you're going to log in to your website, to your blog width. And then what I want you to do is I want you to come down. I want you to click this button, set a new password. Then you're going to copy that password. And you're going to put it into a Word document like this, okay, so property user password, then you're going to put your username and your password. So as you can see from here, I took my username, I put it into here, and then I took my password and I put it into here as well, and I saved it. Once you've done that, make sure it's extremely strong password, all you do is click update profile. I'm just going to save a new really strong password for your website or for your blog. I recommend doing this a pic. Use one of these great passwords here. Don't use your own password because most of the passwords that people use when they're actually creating websites and creating blogs. They are very weak and hackers are everywhere. They run software to break down to defenses of websites. And if they hack your website, well then issues arise with you actually getting it on hacked. And I can cost a lot of money. So creating a really strong password initially is going to help you overcome this issue. Next of all, you've got tools. This is very similar to plugins, and these basically extend the functionality of your website. Then you've got settings. These are just a general settings, writing settings, reading sessions to the sculpting discussions, all of these different things, your permalink structure, all of this which I will go through in a little bit, Mexico, you've got this, this is actually a plug-in, but we're not going to use this plug-in on our website. We use a different plug-in for what is called SEO search engine optimization. We use what is called Rank Math. I'm going to show you how to install all those plugins and I'm gonna show you how to set up your website. So first off, this is just the introduction of the dashboard of your website. So have a look through, play around with it, see the CDE area, how it works and get comfortable with it because this is where you're gonna be focusing so much of your effort in building your blog. So you really need to get to know it. 10. Setting Up Your Blogs Required Elements: We're flying along with this and you've got a really good overview of what you're blogging platform actually looks like. Hadn't dashboard works itself. Now there are certain things inside of the dashboard that we need to set up and we really need to set them up really one time. So these are called the settings inside of WordPress. Okay, so in this video, what we're gonna do is you're gonna follow along as I go and set up the required things that are needed inside of your blog. Wow, So everything functions properly. That's what this video is about. It's Wordpress settings. So let's get in and set this up. Now you're a little bit familiar with your web dashboard, your blog dashboard. Okay, So we're going to just change a few little things in the settings to make it just a little bit easier for you. I'm going to ease you into the use of this. The first thing we want to change is this that says just another WordPress site. So what we're gonna do is we're just going to come down here to settings. We're just going to change this and we're just going to change it to your title. Nomad is now. Then we're just going to call this like a tagline. You don't need to have this tagline in here, but you can. So we're just gonna call it a blog for people who want to escape the nine to five I haven't worked out if that's going to be the tagline for it yet. But if you already know the tagline for your website, well then you can put it in there. You want to change your administration email if you want. Wordpress URL is that's all fine. And you're just gonna come down and you're going to click Save. Very simple. So the first thing is you're changing, as you can see here, this is now changed to Nomad is now. Next thing you want to come into writing section. Now, what this is going to do is this is going to ask you some of these things at the moment. You don't need to change any of these. But what you are going to basically do is you're going to add in what is called a ping list service. Now let me find the most updated pendulous service for you. Ping list, 2022. Updated ping list for 2022. What I'm gonna do is I'm going to leave a link to this in the resources where you can grab it. All you're gonna do is you're just going to grab all of this, copy it, and then copy. And you're going to come back to your website and you're just going to paste it in there. Okay, so as you can see, paste it in there. You're just going to click Save Changes. What this basically does is this ping list service here. This actually goes out when you post a new post or a new page, it goes out and actually automatically notifies all of the different search engines and news aggregators and tells them that you have a new update on your website. And so what they do is they come to your website and your blog and they index that. What I mean by index. They basically take your content and they put it up onto the search engines for you that helps you get visitors to your website. So let me just grab the URL of this. I'm just going to put it into this document in here. And I'm just going to paste it in there for you and you will have that in resources. The next thing we'd go to his reading. Always remember that you're saving changes, okay? Now, here is basically your homepage displays your latest posts. So this basically when it comes to a blog, you can have a static homepage, which means that that homepage never changes. Or you can have a blog that is dedicated to all of your latest post nasa. Really good idea to start when you're actually creating your new blog is that you have lots and lots of different posts on your homepage. So people, when they come to your home wage, they can click on the different posts that is actually of interest to them. But just leave it as your latest posts at the moment, you don't need to worry about any of this stuff. Here is one here, search engine visibility. Now, if this is clicked like that, what that basically means is remember I talked about those news aggregators coming in, indexing your site and putting it up onto the search engines. If this is ticked like this, those sites will not put your website up onto the search engines. So you'll want to make sure that this is not clicked. You'll want to make sure that you're able to have search engine visibility. Once you've chosen your choice, click Save. You don't need to deal with any of these things really discussion and media. This discussion is just basically about comments and all these kind of things. Not really interesting, not really necessary at this time to be honest. And what we will look at is media. We know about media. Where we look at here is permalink. Permalink is really, really important. Now, this is how your website actually looks. Alright, this is how your websites. So let's say nomad now.com, forward slash your post name. It's called the slug, the URL of your website. Now you don't want to have lots of numbers like this in it and all that kind of stuff because it's just not very good for the search engine. For search engine optimization. The way that you're gonna do is you're just going to come to custom structure here. You're going to click off of those things and you're just going to go like this. Okay? So you're gonna go custom structure, category and postnatal. Down here. You're just going to put a full stop like this. Alright? Once you've done this, you're just gonna click Save Changes. Excellent. So that is the first part of settings that you need to create. So go ahead and actually start doing them now. And then in the next video, we're gonna look at uploading your plugins. 11. Adding Your First Blogging Graphical Theme - EASY: In this video, we're going to actually add a theme into your site. Okay, so we're gonna have a theme called Tsukiji into your site that's going to make it look pretty. So super, super simple to do. And let's go and do it. Now in this video, we're gonna look at adding a WordPress theme into your blog. This is basically where you turn your blog into something that's really boring, looking into something that's beautiful looking and something that's easy on the eye that people can consume your content really easy, etc. So for this, I'm gonna use a theme called Tsukiji SU. As you can see here on the screen. Now, you don't have to use Tsukiji. You can use any theme that you actually want. I use Su Qi from my blogs because I think it's really pretty and I think it's really easy to use, okay, plus the amount of great additional things you actually get in the free theme versus other free themes is like it doesn't compare really. It's just a really, really good theme. So if you don't like sushi after I show you how to utilize it, after I show you it on the site, you can actually come and search for your own theme and you can do it here inside of WordPress. So if we're on the Dashboard now inside of your own WordPress, you would come to Appearance and you'd come to themes. As you can see here, the themes that are already installed on this website. So if you wanted to use any of them, you could use them. You can also look at this is already on my, on my website at the moment. So that's why it's very ugly the website. But if you wanted to check any of the themes that you have in here, all you need to do is click live preview. What it's basically gonna do is give you a live preview of what that would look like on your website. That gives you, that will give you a good indicator of kind of, you know, what potentially your website is going to look at with that theme. If you do like what the theme actually looks like, well then you can activate and publish it. So that's a bit boring now at the moment, but there are things in here that you can change. And I'll show you how to change certain elements within the theme. But I don't really like to look at our theme. As I said, I'm not a big fan of most of the themes that WordPress have. I think that's spooky, just works much better. So you basically can go around and look at the ones that you like. You can also go to here and click Add New. Okay? Then what you can actually do is you're gonna be able to access a theme library, a library of all the different themes that you can actually get for your WordPress site. You can look at the latest, you can look at favorites. And as you can see, there are nine, like their latest 9,162 themes that you can actually go and get onto your website for any different things. So imagine you're a doctor or you are writing a blog about a doctor, or you wouldn't spell it Doc oh, tour like that. You'd probably spell it out. Dr. Like that. Potentially. There's going to be, alright, there you go. As you can see, here are themes that you can actually put onto your blog that will be in the medical field. There's pet stuff there as well, all of those kind of things. So that's what you can do. You can go and you can search it. You just click Install if you liked it. But we're not gonna focus on that. Okay, we're gonna focus on spooky. What we're actually going to look at. We're going to focus on one particular type of theme, theme outline, outline or layout. We come to Suchi, we can go to demos. What is basically done, one-click demo site import, learn how to import sites to Suchi. So basically, what we want to be able to do basically is to import a really good template that's already working to our website. The first one you want to come to here, Okay, So we're in sites, then. You don't want Elementor, you don't want breezy these our website page builders, you don't want to use any of them because they take too long to get to know how to actually use. Just come here to no page builder. This is the one that I love. This is the blogging template that I absolutely love. So it's very simple, easy on the eyes, nice big banner. You've got your logo at the top. You've got your, all your things here. Now you can change all of the elements of these inside of your WordPress dashboard as well inside the customized area within your WordPress dashboard. And I'm going to show you how to set up your website. But I'm also going to leave a video to the customization of this theme by somebody who is well versed in website customization. So it's a great YouTube video that I actually use. When I'm actually going on updating my content. I will leave a link to that for you. But as you can see here, it's just really pretty Like, you know, you've got an image there. You've got a little bit of a brief intro to it than if you clicked on it. It's going to bring you into what the page will look like. And then you've got your big kind of header there. You've got your title, you get your intro image, and then you've got your content in here. And you've got kind of like, you know, an author box in there as well, which is really cool. You got a nice sidebar in here that you can change to anything that you actually want. Sometimes people have posts in there. But as you can see, just very nice, I like it. All right, so what we can basically do is we would like that one. What we're gonna do is we're going to go back to here and we're just going to type in Tsukiji. We're gonna click Install. Once that's installed, you gonna click Activate. The next thing we need to do is actually install that demo site, that really pretty demo sites and we're gonna come back to Suchi. So Tsukiji sites, as you can see, then learn how to import the demo site which is right here on it's going to ask us, first of all to install the Suchi sites import plug-in. We can download that plugin from here, or we can go back into our website and we can go to Plugins, Add New, and we're just going to Tsukiji sites. And here it is, spooky sites import and we're just going to click Install Now. I'm gonna click Activate. Now when we come over to appearance, you're going to see this here. So appearance spooky sites import. What we want to do is select our page builder. If you remember from earlier on I put no page builder. Then I had delicious food blog. So I'm just going to click details and preview. I'm just going to click Import this site. And when it's finished importing, all you're gonna do is just say finished visit your site. And here we go. This is now what my sites actually looks like. It's completely updated with all of the relevant images for that demo import side. The next thing we need to do is actually update this to make it more personal to ours. But that's as easy as it is to import the stuff to your website. So I use this one like I like, I like delicious, but remember you don't have to choose delicious. You can look in spooky and choose another one for yourself. But personally, I like this and I think it works extremely well for blogs. So I would recommend that as well because you imagine your face sitting here will not be lovely. Okay, So go ahead and actually get that installed now. 12. Making Your Website Look Beautiful (Theme Updating): In this video, what we're going to actually be doing is we are gonna be setting up your theme or your template. Okay, So theme, excuse me, theme. We're gonna be setting up your theme of your website or your blog. I don't know what this basically is, is this is what makes your blog looks at, look absolutely beautiful. This is the, you know, when you go onto a website and ego com, this is a pretty blog. Well, that's what we're gonna be doing. I'm gonna be using a free theme. We're gonna be using a theme called Tsukiji, It's UKIP. Now there is a premium version of spooky, but we don't need to use that at all. But here's the thing about themes and templates. There are, there are thousands of them, thousands of them for free that you can actually utilize on your blog. I just find spooky the nicest. I'm pretty much the easiest to use as well. So you don't need to be techie at all to do this stuff board. There are some things in here that do require a little bit of effort. What I'm gonna do is I'm gonna give you the base overview of how to install spooky obviously what they, and how to utilize it as well. And I'm gonna show you later on when we're actually doing your blog posts, how do you actually make spooky work well for you? But I'm also going to add a video of a friend of mine where he does a walkthrough on the design. Now it's an hour land video. I'm, it goes through all of the elements that are needed. The thing is he's a designer. He I'm not a designer, I'm a blogger, I'm an SEO. Okay, So for me the design things while fun and exciting because I loved the end result of it. It's not really more float my boat. I'm potentially I'm not speaking in the easiest language when I'm actually explaining it to you. I'm going to add the link to his YouTube video here. Also. Once you've actually done my video, I recommend you go. If you want to make the blog look even better, I recommend you go and look at his video as well. With that said, let's get into it. In this video, what I'm gonna do is I'm going to show you how to update small little bits of this website. Now, I love how this website is for matters. I don't think you need to do very much with the website yourself. To be honest, I don't do very much with the templates for my blog, so at all, I just change a certain few colors. I changed images and I leave them as they actually are. Because look at when it comes down to it, I'm not a designer. I'm not a developer. I prefer to stay away from all of that hard techie stuff. I prefer to stay away from pretty much anything that involves something that I'm not 100% used to. Okay? Now I'm going to show you the things that I'm very used to wit inside of here that you really only need to deal with as well. For that we'd come to Appearance and we'd come to customize. Okay, So this is the customization section within your website. Now you do initial customization, which is going to give you like we can change the logo here, we can change this big image here, etcetera, etcetera. When it comes to the pages on the posts that you're actually creating, you will do that itself. On the post you have. You're going to do that customization on the posts you have. And it's super, super simple. It's just part of the posting process. Now, here is something for you. As I mentioned before, there is a great video on YouTube called Tsugi WordPress theme free complete tutorial. On It is awesome. The guy's name is websites for beginners. He is, he is so good. Here's instruction of this is so good. And the thing is, look, he is, I'm a professional developer designer. He speaks, he's able to take the language of the developer and designer and break it down into easy to consume way for you. If you want to do further customizations than what I show you inside of the customizer. Well then I'm gonna leave a link for this guy as well, because he is absolutely awesome and you're gonna love them. So let's go back to the customizer and just do a couple of quick changes. The first thing that you'll notice it's typography and colors. Okay? So these are your base colors for your website. As you can see, text color is gray, is this gray color? And I like that. You can change the text color if you want. But link, if there's a link, basically, it would basically have your hovered over it. It will change color. You can change the link color. As you can see here. Look. There we go. We've got the link text color is that hover over it, it goes gray. You can change those colors if you want. You can basically put any color you want it in here. Let's say you had that publish. What will happen is it'll stay pink and then when you hover over it, as you can see, it's gone blue. And that's as simple as it is to change the colors. I don't think you should change a very much more about them. Let's go edit a base colors here. Next thing that you have your headers. So these are your heading tags. These are like these things here. You can change the color of them as well. So as you can see at the moment, It's gray. But you could change them to blue as well if you wanted. You don't have to, as I say, but you can if you want. So that gives you an idea of that. Next of all, you've got all these kind of things in here, blockquote and all that. I just leave them like I really do. I leave them all width these the way they're actually designed. And the reason that I do that is because these guys are professional designers and developers who have actually developed these websites and these templates. They understand exactly what it is that helps people feel safe and comfortable actually on the websites themselves. If you go start playing around with these things, yourself, being not a designer, I'm being new to blocking. Then potentially what you're going to create is not going to be to the level of what these professionals actually do. That's why I say stick to just the small changes within your website. Okay. Those small changes come in, things like this. Okay, if we go to, that will be adding social media links. Let's see, is there social media down here and not hit down here? Let me get out of this one. Could be to your page canvas. This is kind of like it's boxed at the moment. If you wanted to change it, you can press that. So as you can see, it's kind of boxed it in now, full width, excuse me. But if you don't want that to come out of here, Let's go into the header section. This is the place where you're pretty much be putting most information or changing mostly. Okay. So what this basically is is you've got your top bar, your main bar, on your bottom bar, as you can see here, top our main bar, bottom bar. Now at the moment there's nothing in the top bar at all. But you could drag the logo into the top bar. What's going to happen is it moves the logo up to the top bar and it's deleted all of the information in the main bar. So we're just gonna take that out of there because that looks sloppy. Okay. Next, the vole, you can move this logo to anywhere that you actually want within there. If you wanted to have your logo wherever it actually was, you could do that. But I'm just going to leave it in the center because it looks kind of nice. Okay. You're probably going to want to change that logo as well. If you double-click on it, it's going to ask you to upload a logo or change your logo. Now how you would actually change it is you want to go to canva. You want to come to Canada? Do you know Canva? Canva.com is a free website creation tool, so a free graphics tool for the website. You want to come here and you want to create a design that is 240 by 50. Then what you're gonna do is you're just going to create an easy logo for your website. They have logo templates that you could use in here. But these are 500 by 500. You're going to want to have something that is this size. So if I go back, you're going to want to have something done is that size. For your website, it's 240 by 50 pixels. You could take any of these, you see this. You can take that. And you could even bring it over to here, add a page and paste it in. Then what you could do is you could change the textual elements in here to something like that. No mud is. Now. That's really pretty, it's very easy. What you do then, once you're happy with your logo, you're just going to download it. You're going to choose the one that you want to download. So I can just download this gonna click done. Then what I'm gonna do is I'm just going to upload it into my website. So I'm just going to change the logo. I'm going to change the image here. Upload the file, select the file from my desktop wherever it actually is. Uploaded here. Now, as you can see, you have some images in here already got uploaded when you imported the website. Then you're just going to click Choose Image. There you go. So there is my new logo, nomad is now. Alright, so really, really simple. I see there's an issue there with one part of it. If I was to move that. I would move that up a tiny little bit. There we go. That looks better, doesn't it? Let me see very bold that as well. Now account bold it. So let me, I'm going to download that again and upload it. This is free, so there is a freemium or there is a paid version of this, but the free version is absolutely awesome and it's used by companies big and small all over the world because it is that good. Okay, we're going to find that image again. Also, if you make a mistake in your image and you upload it and you don't like it. Delete that image out of here. That's just going to help your website ruin much easier. Okay, so we're gonna select the file, going to find the new image, which is this one. We're going to insert it into the website. There we go. There is our new logo in there. Once we're happy, we click Publish. Now that is going to upload, that is going to update on our website. There's my new logo in here, super, super simple to do as you can see. And that was like, how quick was that actually created? That was created like in two or three minutes, a new logo for your website and upload it. The next thing that you want to do, you've got your menu bar here, okay. Now, you're not gonna create your menu. Yes. But we'll go into that in a little bit. But this is where your menu is. So this is where you can change the position of your menu as well. As you can see it's moved to there. You can also put it beside your logo. You can put it even over this side of your logo. Potentially, you can even have it in your top bar there like that as well. But I'd like to have it underneath us. I think it looks nicer. I think it's pretty again, what you have here is a search dropdown box. If you don't want that, That's this thing here. You can delete it out. And as you can see, it's deleted out. But if you want to have that in there, which is a good thing, then you just leave it there. But also what you potentially can have is social media. You're going to have, if you've got your social channels, you're gonna have your social channels up here, which I think looks pretty cool. If you're happy with that, then you just going to click Publish. Now if you want to change those social media channels, you can change them vitaes, global modules that will be in here, social media links. And then you're just going to add in your Facebook, your Instagram, your LinkedIn or whatever, your different things at once, you're happy with them, you just click publish. The next thing we want to look at is this thing here. Now this is going to be for your front page of your website. You're going to have your posts like this anyway, your blog posts lengthiest anyway, but for the front page you want to have something here as well. I liked the habit. You don't have to have an adult remember that. You just come into content and sidebar here and you're going to come to this here called hero section. Now if you don't want to have this hero section, all you need to do is press that. And then basically as you can see, it's removed. But I like to have that, really, really like to have that. Now, if I scroll down here, what it's gonna do here is my image, okay? It's going to ask me, do I want to remove the image? Do you want to change the image? I want to change this. Okay. And because my website is about kind of being a nomad leaving the nine to five, all of those different things. I'm going to find a free images associated with this and have it included here. What I want to do is I'm gonna go to a website called Pexels.com. Okay. I'm Pexels.com is a free website that you can utilize the images and actually use them for free. So I'm going to look for, let's go nomad or nomad or paradise or something along those lines. Maybe not no mad like that, which is actually really cool images. But let's go and look for paradise. Potentially I can use, let's say, Oh, that's lovely. Alright, so let's potentially, I'm going to use that. I can download it for free, but I don't want to use that big size. Maybe I'll go for this medium size here. Okay, so 1280 by 961, I am going to click Free Download. And that's downloaded for me now, what I can basically do is come back to my website and I'm going to change the image. I'm going to upload this image as well. We're going to click Select. Next, I'm going to publish it. I'm going to click this here. Okay, So there we go. No matter is now, as you can see, it's really starting to come together quite nicely. And I've just made two changes. This here and the big picture. No mud is now a blood for people who want to escape the nine to five, I'll change this tagline. But as you can see, it's starting to come together. So that's what I want you to do now. I want you to get those two things done. I want you to change nobody's now or I want you to change your logo on. I want you to find an image on Pexels associated with the topic of your blog and download it and then you're going to upload it onto here. Okay, so cool, Go for it. 13. Adding Your Image And Bio To Your Blog Sidebar: By now you will have started to seeing your website, your blog, come alive. You've got your theme installed and potentially it's looking really pretty if you've installed Tsukiji, well then it's looking really pretty and you've imported all of the functions from vat that I showed you. I love this, I love this blog. I think it's absolutely beautiful and I think it, I think it makes it look super professional. Now, in this video, what we're gonna do is we're gonna be adding in a sidebar. I keep on, I'm Irish by the way, THE or not in my normal language, so I have to practice saying THE. So when we say theme, I normally would say Team Theme. One, I'm gonna be doing, excuse me, there's a bit of an introduction into me. So what I'm gonna be doing is I'm gonna be showing you how to actually create your sidebar. This sidebar is special because it's going to have an image of you. And it's going to have some biotechs a bite you as well. There were certain things already into theme that I'm gonna get you to delete out of there, but potentially you can leave them in there if you want to. But the most important thing is getting your picture and also getting its set opened a little bio in there. Okay, so that's what we're gonna do in this. It's really easy to do and I think I'll show you a tool in there. I do. Actually, I'll show you a tool in there called Remove BG, which will allow you to remove the background of any images that you have to make your image just look a lot more professional. So with that said, let's get into it. The next thing that we're going to change is we're going to change the sidebar elements. So you want to have a picture of yourself here in the sidebar. That's if you're making the blog and it's about you, you don't have to make the blog with you, but if you do want to use your own picture in here, you can. Okay. So let's go and have a look at that. So what we're gonna do is we're going to come to appearance. But in this instance, we're gonna come to Widgets. Ok. Now, inside of widgets, there are gonna be a lot of different areas that you can actually see in here. This is posted on Page Builder sidebar. Then you've got the sidebar. So this is the one that we're after. Then you've got your footer widgets. But this is the one we're after. Let's go replace image. We're going to upload a file. And so here's an image of me. We're just going to make sure that it is at medium 300 by 300. Then what I can do is I can just call it Kieran Doyle. Nomad is now something like that. We're just going to click Add to widget. We're just going to click Update. Let's see what it gives us here on the website. Cool, got me in there as well. As you can see, there's no background on it. So I'm just going to show you a cool little little website. Remove the BG. Spelled it wrong, REM. Remove BG. What this allows you to do is basically upload images and it's gonna remove the background for you. Except all. Let's say we wanted to upload an image of me, like even this image here. What is basically going to do is it's going to delete the background note for me. You can do this with all your images as you can see. Perfect, so all I need to do is I can just download it. Then there's my image without the background. So you can do that yourself as well as you can see here. Remove BG. You can do that yourself and you can upload it into here. Then what you want to do in here is potentially right. Hi. My name is, come join my journey. Just make sure that it's spelled correctly. Click Update. Now, if I wanted to, My name is Karen. I'm a full-time digital nomad. You can say find out, find out more about me in my about page. Okay. And what you can do here is if I had set up the about page already, I could highlight my page like that click link. And then I would type the URL of my about page in here. Or you can just type the words and it will refresh, and it will give you an example like that. Okay, there we go. Once I click that and we click Update. Now what it's gonna do again, if I refresh it here. Hey, great. Hi, My name is Kara and I'm a full-time digital nomad living mostly over in Southeast Asia. Come join my journey. Find out more about me in my about page. There we go. That's how simple it is now, you can keep this in here if you want to have that in there, the gallery, you can add your own gallery, but if not, you're just going to remove it. So simple like that. Very cool update. And the next thing is let's update that again. It's just going to remove that. And all this is in here is the latest articles that are on my blog. What I wanna do is I just want to remove all of these things in here as well. So I come in here and I'm just going to click Remove. I'm also gonna click Remove of that. I'm going to click Remove the recent stuff. Remove. I'm going to click Remove. Going to click removal, these comments. We're going to click Remove. Once we're happy with what is actually there, then we can come back here. You can refresh it. There we go. So that's basically it about me. All right? Very easy as you can see, very, very simple. Now if you want some more design aesthetics, how to do those things. This video here is actually going to show you how to do that. Okay? This is just the basic to get you up and running super, super, super quickly. Get that done, get your sidebar done. And the next section we're going to deal with is your footer section. 14. Making Your Blog Look Legit (Footer Section): We're moving on to the next theme design element, and that is the footer. The footer is basically, you know, that area when you scroll down to the bottom of a webpage or a blog and you see kind of like a logo, some important links. You'll see maybe some address details or something like that. What we're gonna do is we're going into setting up that. We're going to put a logo, we're gonna put our links and we're gonna put some address details as well. Now, don't have to use our own home address, and I'll show you a way around this in the video as well. So with that said, this is kind of fun because we're moving on quickly. Let's get into it. In this part, we're going to actually set up this footer section. This photo section includes your logo, it includes useful links, and it includes your contact info. Okay, so I recommend utilizing your own contact info if you're creating a blog, but potentially you don't want to do this. Potentially you don't want to do it, but Here's the thing. Google wants to see, an address that it can associate with your business or width your blog. It really, really wants to see that. So my recommendation is this. This is called a fake person generator. And type in fake address generator, there are multiple ones that you can actually use, but I just used the first one that appeared here on Google. And all you're gonna do is potentially choose. So depending on where you are potentially, let's say you're in New York, choose an address in New York. Click Generate. What it's gonna do is it's just going to come up with a random address that you can actually utilize in your web domain, are in your web site so that people aren't pasture and you, etc, etc. It's even going to give you a fake phone number, mobile number that you can actually use as well. Okay? So these are all random things. These aren't real, these are just put together that basically you can utilize on your website as well. So that's what I'm going to show you how to do. I'm going to show you how to set up these things. Now, the first thing that you want to actually do is you want to come back into customize. In customized, you're gonna come over now to footer. We see flutter there. Then what you basically notice here is at the end of footer, you've got this section here that says widget columns. And before it probably would have said this disabled. But I want you to click it to three columns, like so 123. All right, so that's what we're doing. We're just creating three columns. Now, what I want you to do, well, first thing, I want you to update your copyright information. In the sheet that is supplied with this video. You can just copy and paste your information into there. You're going to obviously want to change your domain name to be your domain name and not my domain name. So that's cool. All right, so once you've done that, I want you to click Publish. Now. That's the first part of it. The second part is we've actually got to come out of here now. We've got to go into widgets. We did call them here. As you see, we've got to actually change what the widgets looked like. Inside of the widget section, we come into widgets. We're actually in widgets at the moment, that's great. Come into widgets. And here are the ones we're looking at, widget footer, one, which a foot or two, or footer widgets column three, footer widgets called them one photo will have column two for the Williams. We just call them tree. Again. We're just adding our image in here. We're just adding our, let's say if we wanted to align that in the center, we're just adding our image so you know how to add an image. Okay, so this built-in will basically be at an image. Now if there's nothing here at the moment, let's say we remove this. If the block is just let that you're just going to click Block image. And you're going to go to your media library because you've already uploaded your blog image already, your blog logo already. So you're just going to grab that and you're going to delete that title out there. Potentially, you're gonna put your your, your website name in here again. So Nomad is now. Then you're going to click Select. Then again, you can center that widget. Now once you've done that, why didn't you click update? Okay? So what's happened here now? You can have a look. This is what it looks like at present. Now if I refresh this, you see it's more centralized, okay, so it looks pretty good. The next thing we're gonna do is looking at these links here. Again, we're gonna do this in the widget column. I'm going to just delete those out of there because I already created it. But all we're gonna do is you can just grab these from here, copy this in here, and paste it in there. You're gonna make this one bold. Bold. Alright, good. Then what you're gonna do is inside here I made these links for you. So what you're going to basically do is you're just going to change your website name for this part here. Then what you're gonna do is you're going to copy this. You're gonna come back to here. And you're going to click that, which is the link. Okay, then you're going to make sure you click that and that's now a link. The next thing that you want to do is you want to grab the about link. Again, you're going to change it to your domain name. You. Alright. We're gonna go down and do this for all of the links. Okay? Now we haven't gone and actually created any of these pages yet, but we will be going and creating them. This is just an easy way to get things done. Then you can focus on one step of the blog setup at a time. I'll show you how to create the terms and conditions. I'll show you how to create your privacy policies and all. We can do this all for free as well, which is pretty cool. Once you've got those done, you just gonna click Update. Let's see what it looks like on the website. We're just going to click refresh. There you go. Okay. So it didn't change anything. Reading the next thing, footer column widget three is, let's delete this out here. Remove block. What we're gonna do is we're going to add in custom HTML. So if you're new and you just type in HTML, and it's gonna give you a block here. Now, what I want you to do is I want you to copy and paste this text here and then change it for your real address or your fake address, whichever you want to actually do. And as you can see, it's very easily laid out your address followed by your CC, followed by your country, followed by your zip code, and then your telephone number. Just change it and put your telephone number in there. I'll put your fake telephone number in there. Once you've got that done, you're just going to click Update. And let's refresh it. Boom, there you go. That's it. That's your whole footer section setup for your new blog. So really, really simple to do. Get undo that. Now you've got the links are you've got this sheet here in the resources that you can actually utilize. Okay, so cool, keep it easy. 15. Making It Legal - Required Pages: There are certain things, certain pages. Let's say that every single blog needs. The great thing about any is that a lot of bloggers in potentially on your competition don't put these things onto our website. If they don't put these things onto their website than Google and other search engines don't see them as a professional entity and they don't give them the rankings in the search engines, which gives them visitors to their blog as much as they would if you have these pages actually on your website. So we're gonna do a few videos and get these setup over a few videos. But the first one we're going to look at is Contact page. I'm going to show you how to set up the contact patriot, just super, super simple. And I'm also gonna show you how to set up your privacy policy. And the great thing is about the privacy policy, it's already included in your theme. So all you're going to basically have to do is adopt it very easily. I'll show you what to do and then publish it live. So that's what we're actually going to do in this video. So with that said, as you know, let's get into it. Now in order to make our blog legit, like properly legit, we have to have a certain few pages on that blog to make us seem as if we're a real business. To make it seem as if, you know, there is some substance behind this and those pages are our privacy page, our terms page, our contact page on our about us page. The easy ones for us to create a pretty much privacy and the contact, the ones that take a little bit more are the terms and the unbanked. First off, we're just going to set up our privacy page. If we come back into our dashboard in our website, what we're basically going to do is there is already a pre-made template of a privacy page, so we're just going to click on all pages. We're going to go and find this privacy page. As you can see, draft privacy policy. We're just going to edit that. And then it's like who we are, this information in here, media cookies. So that's all good for me. What you would want to do is potentially check that yourself, okay? Once you're happy with that, I'm just going to change that and I'm just going to put it as privacy dismiss. Okay. So we're just going to have it as privacy like that. And I'm going to click Publish, okay? Once published it, I can basically go and search for it. So I'm not even going to search for it. Remember the links that we set up below in our footer that should direct straight to that page. So let's go and have a look. Okay, privacy policy. Brilliant. So there's our privacy policy. You see that took a couple of moments to setup. The next one is our contact page. Okay, so we're gonna use WP contact forms for that. We're going to use WP forms and we're going to click Add New. So we just want to create a really simple form here. So we just want to use this here. So simple contact form. As you can see, it's very, very simple. Then all we need, if we're happy with that, like you're happy your name, your email, your content in your message. Then basically all we're gonna do is embed that. Okay, So we're just going to click Embed and we're gonna select existing page. We're going to select page and we're gonna put it to contact. Then we're going to click, let's go. Now this is going to load up our contact page. And here's where we do a little bit. Okay, so we've got all of those things in here. But what I'm gonna do is I'm just going to go to contact template. I'm just going to copy this stuff here. I'm going to come back here. Just going to delete that out of there. I'm just going to paste in my text here. Hey, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to visit my website. I really appreciate you choosing those as your information provider. When it comes to making the move to the nomad lifestyle. That's Buddhist T. For questions, suggestions, or any concerns, please leave us a message by filling or please leave me a message by filling out the form below. And then I'll get back to you as soon as I can for questions about content. You can message me at Kiran at Nomad is now. Okay. I'm just going to delete this section out of here. But what I am going to do here, and this is this is good. I'm just going to take my mailing address. Could be your fake mailing address, whatever it actually is. And I'm just going to paste it in here. Alright. Now I want to copy this. I'm going to copy this address. What I'm gonna do is I'm gonna come over to Google and I'm gonna go Google. Google Maps. Okay. I'm going to look in Google Maps. The next thing I'm gonna do is I'm just going to paste that address into Google Maps. And I'm going to click Enter. Okay. So what it's done is it's picked up an address of that area. All right, I want to want to do is I'm gonna click share. And I'm going to click Copy link. I'm going to come back to here, back into my page. And I'm going to click link. What that's done is that's linked that address on Google Maps to my website. And now you can do that with your own website as well. Again, these are all signals that help you rank in Google and it makes you look extremely more professional. Next of all, I'm going to just add this in here is my phone number. I'm going to add a link. I'm just going to click Apply. All right. Then That is my phone number applied to there as well. Once I'm happy, I'm just gonna click Update. And if we come back to here again, we can look at contact. Contact here. Then in here is this part here. As you can see, these are linked up as well. Want to actually look, I can't see my WP form information. So I'm gonna come back into WP forms. It didn't load up properly for me. I just want to edit this actually that's the forms code, the short code. So I just want to grab this short code. I'm going to copy it, going to come back in here. And I'm going to put in here. So I'm just going to paste the code in there. And as you can see, it's pasted. And I'm going to click update. The next thing that I want to do is I'll come back over to my contact page and refresh the page. And my contact form should be inside of here. Excellent. So somebody comes to your site, you've got your intro, you got your contact, we know all that kind of stuff. Then he got your big picture over here on the side, the trust element associated with your blog. So that looks pretty cool. And that took a couple of minutes to set up. What I'll do is I will leave this textual element that you can grab and utilize for yourself. Okay, so now we've got those two created. We've got our contact page, and we've got our privacy page. Now we'd need a terms page in the About Us page. 16. What Is Keyword Research - How To Get A Never Ending Flow Of Visitors: This is the real first lesson of this module and this is about one is keyword research. We're gonna be looking at quantities, keyword research, why it is super important. Why we're going to use an R on how we're going to use it to find the blog post ideas for your website. This potentially is the biggest key to your success. This whole module here, this module in itself is the one that's going to give you a blog longevity. It's the one that's going to give you a never ending supply of ideas that you can actually blog about. This module is it's not the easiest module. Let's put it that way. Nothing about keyword research is easy. It takes concentration, it takes time on, it takes practice. So what I've basically done is I've given you, I won't give an overview of the process that I'm going to actually do. I'm gonna give you a demo of water. I will actually do as well. So I really want you to spend your time on the module. And if you don't get it right, go back over and again. If you don't if you don't understand this video correctly, go back over and again. There's no rush for this section at all. And here's the great thing about this. Depending you get, the more you're gonna be able to do. That's it. You're gonna be able to utilize this work here that you learn here in any online venture, any online venture at all, because it's just so critical. So with that said, I know it might sound don't think don't and don't let it be told to you. Okay. I got it. I'm going to break it down for you. Let's get into it. Right? So we're onto a really important section of your blogging masterclass here. And that is what is called keyword research. Now, this may sound boring because who wants to go looking for keywords, but this is basically, this is the make or break of your blog. So this is the ability for you to be able to reach people with content that you actually create, but most importantly, what they are actually searching for. So with that said, let's get on to the first slide of this. What I'm gonna do is I'm just going to briefly give you an overview of what keywords are. So you know how to use Google or Bing or Yahoo, you go to it and you type something in. Let's say you're looking for. An example would be how to jump higher for basketball, which is a very search term by people who are interested in basketball. You go to Google or you go to YouTube, whatever it is and you type those search terms in. All right, that is a keyword. That is a keyword string. What people searching Google or Bing or Yahoo, when they're actually looking for an answer to the problem that, but they potentially have people. Billions of searches are made every single day in untold amount of niches. People looking for information to help them pass the time, to find out information to make them better, to find a solution for a problem that they're actually having. And what we have to do is we have to find the ones that people actually search a loss related to our niche. Then we've got to create content around those. When we do this, when we create content around these keywords, what happens is Google starts to notice are the search engines, let's say Google, bing, Yahoo, etc. It starts to notice that we're actually creating content related to keywords that people are actually searching for. When Google sees this, what do you think it does? Yeah, you're right. Google starts to place your blog into the search engines for those key terms, for those key words. When Google starts to do that, what's going to happen is people are gonna start finding your blog. And that is the main thing, isn't it getting people to your blog to actually read your content? So that is why keywords are so important. That is why keyword research is so important. Because without keyword research, we don't understand the types of keywords that people are actually searching for. Which means that we're not able to create content that takes all of the boxes for Google, which allows them to give us traffic from their search engine. So what we're actually looking to do. Is to start with. We're going to look for seven article ideas to start with. These are keywords, so we're going to look for seven keyword ideas to start with. But when we're actually doing it, when we're actually looking for these keywords. What we're gonna do is we're not going to grab everything that we see. We've got to be selective in the keyword research and ask ourselves, those sound like something that will add value to our website. Does this sound like something that somebody is gonna like to see on our blog? And it's going to get lots of value from by the end of this, by the end of this section on keyboards, on finding keywords, you're going to have a skill that nobody really has, only a tiny, tiny, tiny percentage of people actually have. You're gonna have a superpower in search engine optimization. So I'm really, really excited for this. Now. You notice that I said we're just gonna look for seven article ideas or seven blog post ideas. The reason that we're only going to look for seven is because I want to slowly get you into this. Okay? I don't believe that you need to be looking for a 100 different ideas straightaway, even though eventually we will have more than a 100 blog posts on the blog. But we've got to build to that. So what I normally do here is how I normally run all of my blogging training. Here's how I run it myself as well. I will, I will create my blog in the correct way, which you've seen in the website setup section. I'll put my main pages on there, my about my contacts, all my terms and conditions, all of those different types of things. Then I will find seven article ideas and I will create those articles 71 day one, day, one day, one day, one day. So by the end of one week, I will then have seven pieces of content created for my blog and they're up on my blog. Then on that last seventh day, I then go and look for seven more content pieces, Content idea pieces. Then again, the following day on Monday I will go article then choose I articles, article, article, article. And I'm going to do that for four to five to six weeks, dependent on how long that I actually want to do it. The longer you do it, the better you can even do it for two months straight, creating a piece of content every single day for two months straight. And during the section on content creation, I'm gonna show you how to do this really, really easily. So you can see them, I'm talking right now. This kind of communication that I'm talking with you can be converted into text and then that becomes your type of articles. So I'm going to show you how to turn your speaking into actually text, which will become your blog articles as well, which makes it far easier for you to actually create content for your blog. We're going to look at creating seven days at a time. One week, two weeks, three weeks, four weeks, five weeks, six weeks, seven weeks potentially. Now, once we have actually posted this in, once we've put so many pieces of content, like about 50 pieces of content, 30 to 50 pieces of content. Then after that, you can take a break. Take a break in terms of go away for two weeks or three weeks or something like that. But what I mean by this, you can, you can, you can ease back. You can basically start doing two pieces of content and weak or three pieces of content a week, you can start putting more effort into your blog posts. These initial ones that we're going to do over the first amount of weeks. They are just going to build up your base blog. They're going to build up your blog with lots of great information so that when people come to your website, they're right there, just content for them so they can read one article and go to another article. You can read another article and go to another article. By doing this, google and the search engines are going to start seeing your blog as somebody to look forward to and somebody to listen to. When they start doing that, Google will start ranking you higher in the search engines for the keywords in the blog topics that you're actually creating. This is really, really exciting. I'm super happy that you're actually going to get started with this in the next video, what we're going to actually do is we're going to look at the tools that we're going to use. The tools that we're going to use when it comes to keyword research. So first of all, what I'm gonna do with that is I'm going to give you a PowerPoint presentation like this. But because of the tools and using the tools, I'm obviously going to give you demos on how to use those tools as well. I hope you're excited about learning about keyword research because this really is, this is the gold that's going to set you apart from the other bloggers that actually don't do this correctly. So let's get into it. 17. The Magical Tools You Will use: I'm just like the first lesson in terms of you understanding about keyword research. In this, what we're gonna be doing is we are going to be looking at the tools that you're actually going use to find all of these great keyword ideas. Now, I give you an overview of them, how to actually use them to follow along. And again, if you don't understand it straight it initially, don't worry. Don't don't let that hold you back. Go back over it and actually watch them one by one. Take your time. Go through, listen to what I'm actually saying. Um, because there's a lot of there's a lot of information and knowledge and what I'm actually saying there, that's going to help you so you can get inside my brain to hear me think about it. That's going to help, you know, end. Okay, So with that said, let's get into tools because there are some cool ones in here for you. Now you have a great overview of what keyword research is. So you understand its importance, which is so, so well, it's key to this. Now what we're gonna do is we're gonna look at the tools we use. I call this process keyword investigation. Because what we're gonna be doing is investigating the search engines and tools. Utilizing the search engines to actually find the article ideas that we're going to type a bed or we're gonna not type a boat, but we're going to write about or blog about. The first tool that we're going to use. This is a tool that I created myself. And this is basically called starter searches. This is when you only type part of a word followed by your search term into the search engines. And then basically you get a result forests. So an example would be like this. Are something press Enter. Aren't something, press Enter. Best way to use something, press Enter. Let me give you an example of that. If I come into here, you're going to have access to the sheet. This is utilized with Google. Let's say that you were selling, let's say I like dogs. Okay. So let's say you're selling dogs toys. Let's say let's say dogs toys, let's say your, your blog was about dogs toys. And what we're gonna do is we're just going to take r and x. We change with dogs toys. We're going to come to Google and we're just going to type in our dogs toys. All right, we're just going to click Enter. Then what we're gonna do is we're going to look at this section here. Okay, So this people also ask, we're gonna see questions. These people also ask things are actually questions that people are answering or people are asking. If we see them appearing here, we understand that they're being asked quite a lot of times for Google to actually place them here because Google see them as important for the searches that you're actually making. So take a note of that at the moment. Alright, next, if we scroll down to the bottom here and we see what's called the related searches as well. We see related searches to our dogs, toys, okay, and then we have plush dogs, etc, etc. Alright, so that is how we use this sheet here. Next of all, we could put in best way to or best way too, wouldn't work with dogs toys. But we could put best way to use dogs toys. Let's see if that works here. So best way to use dogs toys. And let's see what comes up. Here. We've got more all of these things here. You see these, all of that stuff. There is super, super important. Google is telling you that that is really important to the search that you're actually making. All right, So that is one of the tools. So we're going to be used in this search investigation sheet. This is going to help you come up with lots of ideas for your blog articles, for your blog pieces. We will don't worry, we'll go through this properly. I do a demo with it to show you how it works. We use the search investigation sheet with Google. With Google here. Alright, so that's pretty cool. Let's go back into our presentation. The next tool that we're going to use is called Keywords Everywhere. What keywords Everywhere is, is Keywords Everywhere is a tool that shows you, uh, search, estimate the number of times something has been searched on Google, are searched on the search engines. So as you can see here, it, like Raspberry Pi, Minecraft Server has been searched 6,600 times a month. How much has been searched? 673 thousand times a month. Modern Minecraft server hosting has been served. 8,001 are searched 8,100 times a month. That gives you an idea. It's gonna be able to show you how many times a keyword is being searched. And that's going to basically be able to tell you, okay, well, that's pretty good. And do you know what the great thing about this is? It shows you great ideas for articles that are gonna be easy to rank as well. All right, let's go and have a look how we'd actually use it. So we're gonna look for keywords everywhere, Chrome. What I want you to do is I want you to come and typing Keywords Everywhere, Chrome. You're going to add it as a Chrome extension. You're going to add it as a Chrome extension. I've already got it here on Chrome, as you can see, which is right here. But what it basically does is it's going to basically be able to do this. Okay, Let's watch this. It's gonna show this data here. Alright, so Keywords Everywhere Chrome is searched 4,400 times a month. This CPC thing has basically how much the cost per click that's associated with paid advertisements, okay? Your competition is 0.09 out of 100. That's actually relatively low competition there. But also what it does is it gives you a related keywords. Then the side here shows you these things here like Google Keyword Planner is searched three over 300 thousand times per month. Then people also searched for things like this. Then it gives you long tail variations of those keywords as well. It's actually a really cool tool and it is super, super cheap, and it's actually one of the cheapest keyword tools that you can use. I fill it up with $10 and it allows me to look at a 100 thousand keywords data that lasts for a very long time. Now, my recommendation to it as this, you can see that I have this open in Mozilla. Okay, So this is the Mozilla browser. The reason that I have it in the Mozilla browser is because I only use Mozilla for keyword research. I don't use any of my Chrome browsers for keyword research, for Keywords Everywhere because I don't want to use up my credits when I'm actually doing it. So I make sure that I just use it when I go specific, I have a keyword research browser, which is my Mozilla browser, Firefox, it's also called. That is another tool that we use. Another tool we use as people also ask, okay, So I already showed you this. This is finding real questions that people are asking in your blogging niche. And then we use those questions to actually format the base of your article ideas. So as you can see here, this was using the partial searches from here, Minecraft servers. And then I pressed Enter. And then I found people also ask ideas that Google are telling me are relevant to the question that I put our search term that I put into their search bar. And then I take a note of these. All right, the next one that we use is called Google Trends. Google Trends is actually really, really cool. So this is pretty much the main one that we're gonna be using for finding out if your articles are good ideas to actually target to create. It's really good to find a surge of volume estimation of content to create an also brilliant for spotting some really killer article topics like this little section in here inside of Google Trends. It can basically show us some really good, easy to rank articles that we can create for our blog to start as well. What you're going to notice inside of Google Trends is some data like this as well. So this is not search data, but it's actually a ratio of one to a 100. How much it is actually being searched for, how much your search term is being searched for a particular length of time. So let's go over and have a look at Google search trends. This is what Google search trends looks like. Our Google Trends should I say? You could just go to google.com forward slash trends to actually do this. And what you can do is you can have a look down here at the seawater is trending around the globe. All of this, but the main thing you're gonna be using is here, and you're just going to put your keywords into here to give it an idea. For me, let's do something. Minecraft Server. So that is one of the products that I sell on multiple blogs. Okay, I'm just gonna click Search. What I'm gonna do here is I'm going to change this here. And I'm gonna change it to worldwide. Actually, I should have done that on the last page of a scroll back here, excuse me. Go back to the next one. I'm just going to change this and I'm not actually going to change it to worldwide, I'm just going to change it to USA. There seems to be a glitch in Google Trends that it causes a stole issue. So just change, change the location to United States and then just put your main keyword into here. Then what it's basically gonna do is it's going to show us data of how many times this is actually being searched. Well, it's not actually going to give you how many times it's being searched. What it's basically gonna do when you see all this data in here like this. You've got to basically be looking at it and saying, Wow, what oldest amount of data in here that means that this is being searched a **** of a lot of times. When you see all of this data in here, it means that it's actually being searched over 10 thousand times per month. If you see a search term and it's got this data in here, this data in here, this data in here, this data in here on this data in here. It means that it's being searched over 10 thousand times per month. Now we're just going to click on worldwide here. As you can see, it's obviously updated as well. In the US alone, it's being searched over 10 thousand times a month. And globally obviously is being searched over 10 thousand times a month as well. We will go more in depth into that. How do we understand how to actually say are given idea, a base estimate of how many times it's actually being searched by utilizing Google Trends. Next thing. Now, I've given you a couple of different tools in there. I've given you Keywords Everywhere and I've given you Google Trends. Okay? When we come to Google Trends, we're not going to be looking for specific figures, were working with big numbers. We're working at 0 to one hundred ten hundred, one hundred and five thousand, five thousand, ten thousand and ten thousand plus. As you can see from the last area where I was talking about Google Trends and saying that it's over 10 thousand searches. That's because I'm aware of understanding what Google Trends is showing me and I'm going to show you how to read that. Read the screen in on Google Trends for you to be able to decipher how many searches are. And remember again, it's between one to one thousand, one thousand and five thousand, five thousand and ten thousand and ten thousand plus. So I'm gonna show you how to read that. But with Google Trends, you got to use your brain. When you're actually searching for your keywords. You've got to look at your keywords and search for them in multiple different ways. You're not going to put your whole phrases that you find into Google Trends. You're going to use keywords, specific keywords associated with them. Then what you're going to have to do is you're gonna have to look at those keywords and change wording, say them in different ways, use synonyms associated with them. Don't worry if it sounds a lot complex at the moment. This is going to be, this is something that's going to really help you create a strong blog. I'm going to take time in the demo section to show you elements. So an example of what I was saying about changing the keywords would be change elements of a keywords to a synonym. Let's say you were talking about lightweight. You can change lightweight to compact. So an example of this would be down here. Lightweight binoculars. You could change the compact binoculars. You want to be testing out different keywords when you're actually utilizing Google Trends. Now before I was saying, when you've got a lot of data showing in, in Google trends that you can decipher how many searches are actually going to be there. When you see a graph like this, it's normally going to be over 10 thousand searches are actually appearing. So if you see that and you'll see all of the stuff underneath there as well. So all of the different sections underneath there, it means that it's gonna be pretty much 10 thousand searches or above. Now if you see data like this, basically means that there is normally going to be around five to 10 thousand searches being done for that. We call this partial search trends. Okay? So there's gonna be a partial amount of data showing, but it's still showing, which means that it's about five to 10 thousand searches. Here's a way to actually look at it. If your search term. Let's start from this one here. So 10 thousand searches. We talked about this before. If you see full trends data like this, That's going to be 10 thousand searches on above. If you say only partial trends data, not these filled in, not all of these filled in, maybe one or two of these sections filled in, then it's going to be somewhere between 510. Okay. The next part is if you see common questions appear in the people also asked. Let's go to our Minecraft servers. So during your searching, if you start to see search terms that are appearing a lot of times in here, then you're going to be able to just make that decision yourself that, that potentially gets a thousandth of 5 thousand searches, common questions, but no trends data. You won't see any data in here. So this will be blank. Most of these sections will be blank. On underneath that, what you'll have is basically under thousand searches. And that's basically where you see questions here, but only see it once or twice. You don't really see it very much in you're kinda, because you know your niche while you're kind of going well, I could imagine it being searched. And if it's here, I can tell that it is being searched quite a few times already, but it's not showing a lot. And I don't think it's gonna be searched that much, so I'm gonna put it in as under 1000. So again, this is going to be about you utilizing your thinking when it comes to the niche that you're actually in. And don't worry, again, as I said, I'm gonna go through the demo of this to show you how I do it. Look. This is about practice. So the first time that you do and it's gonna be difficult, but go through it again and again and again and again. And this has begun to become so much easier. This is why we start off with just doing set are finding seven article ideas, okay? Because if you were to do hundreds, then it's just gonna, it's gonna melt your brain and you're not gonna get off the ground open running. As you develop as a blogger, it's going to become so much easier and you're going to understand the concepts so much easier. So the next thing we're gonna do is we're gonna look at different keywords strategies. That's going to show us how we actually utilize these tools in the correct way. 18. Installing KWE: So in this super quick video, I'm gonna show you how to install Keywords Everywhere onto your browser. When you're actually installing Keywords Everywhere, I recommend that you have a separate browser that you don't use that often. So in this case I'm using Edge by Microsoft. So you're just gonna come on typing keywords everywhere. And you're going to add it to Chrome. So you can add to either Chrome because edges like Chrome or Edge is chromium, it works off the same thing. But you can also add it to Mozilla as well. So if you don't use Mozilla very much well, then you could utilize Mozilla as well, and you do the same process. So we're just gonna go to Add to Chrome extension. Just click turn on sync and then you're just going to click Start here. You've got the free version installed now, okay, so I recommend the paid version and you've only got to update it or add like ten books to it. Okay. Let's go pricing. What you can do is you can see $10 is a 100 thousand credits. It's about basically means that you will be able to see the keyword data for a 100 thousand keywords. This is why I recommend doing it on a search engine or a search engine browser that you do not use very often, because you only use that search engine browser when you're doing keyword research, you just gonna click Buy. Now, we've installed it. It's basically going to ask to set up the API key, so you need to sign up for an ABI. Purchase counts. So let's go sign up for an API key. Gonna put in, email me the API key. So I'm just going to put my e-mail in here, grey, a gray emailed media API key. So you come to here, I know you need to do here is click here to get my API key. I'm going to copy that. We're gonna go back into here. Alright, so we've got to click this button here, up here. Then you just gonna click this button here, Settings. Going to enter your API key in there. Click validate. Api key is valid on once we've made that valid, we're just going to come back up to here again, I'm gonna click purchase additional credits. This is where we're just going to click Buy. Now. It's going to go through all of the details, tell us exactly what it is. You're just going to put your details in, follow along and actually purchased a credit. So that's how you set it up. Super, super, super simple. 19. Finding Your Categories: A little bit of a break from keyword research because I would imagine you're like, oh at all. Because look, I'll give you a quick story. When I started I was online. I hated keyword research. I absolutely despise this. I want you to know that, that if you're feeling that way now, don't worry, it will want you to see what it can actually do for you. That's when it's going to actually start kind of go. And actually I liked this stuff because when you can see that it brings you in visitors which turns into money, then it becomes a scale that is war to learning. But anyway, with that said, we're gonna be focusing on something a little bit different in here. We're gonna be going back to our blog idea. Remember our blog idea with our five points in there. So what we're actually going to do is we're going to break down those five points into five category ideas. Those five points, we're going to actually break down into category ideas. So this is the first step of you getting kind of like we're almost remembered in nourishing down section while we're almost kind of meshing down bullet clarifying, let's call a clarifying or clarifying those five ideas into more succinct bits of information. I'm gonna show you how to do it and you're going to follow along and do it for your own niche. Okay, So with that said, let's get into it. Now. You've got a great overview of what keyword research is. Now what we're actually gonna do is we're going to take your knowledge of keyword research so far. But also what we're gonna do is we're gonna look back at your overview of your blog. Remember I asked you to write down five to ten topic ideas that you could actually cover within your blog. What we're gonna do now is we're going to take those five to ten ideas. We're actually going to break them down into potential keywords. Keywords with 123 are not even willing, excuse me, two to four words actually in them. Two to five potentially as well. Why we're doing this is because if we're able to break down our five ideas or ten ideas into smaller keyword phrases. Then it's going to enable us to actually find ideas around those keyword phrases to actually create content around. So let me give you an idea here. If we look here, if I read this first one here, I would like to share my journey along the way to becoming free of the constraints of the nine to five. So what I've done is I've thought about that for a moment and I've said, Okay, so what does that actually say to me? Right? Well, basically it says that the overall encompassing topic of that is gonna be something like how to leave the nine to five. When I say how to leave the nine to five, there are gonna be so many article types that I can use off of that. So, so many things underneath that core topic that I can create content about. Okay, so it's a broad topic. We understand it's a bad the nomad life leaving, leaving the world of the nine to five. And then one subtopic is, how do I do that? Next one is going to be the goods, the bads, the pitfalls of doing it, but also the massive benefits. So again, here we go. So then we've got the benefits of leaving the nine to five. The advantages of leaving the nine to five, the disadvantages of leaving the nine to five, the advantages of becoming a digital nomad or a Noma. The disadvantages of the same thing. Now I've got two subtopics for my blog, kinda like category's subcategories, subtopics. We can change the name of them, they're exactly the same thing. Now underneath that, what we're going to look at is how a person can start, how they can make sure that they set things up correctly before they go. Then it could be something like how to plan leaving. How to plan leaving your job. Water to things that you need to get in place before you leave. The overcompensating thing. Again, the subtopic subcategory is going to be how to plan leaving the nine to five. The things you need to have in order to make sure that your transition from working in the nine to five, to actually leaving and finding jobs overseas or finding work online. We look at that. Now I've got three. I've covered my top three topics. So how about the fourth one here? What to do when they are there? Then it's going to be planning your country of destination. So planning for your country of destination, water to things that you need to know. How do you research that? How do you make sure that you're going to the right country? These types of things. So when I'm thinking of all of these, like I've got four sub-topics so far. When I'm thinking of all of these, just because they're coming up on the written down like this. How to leave the nine to five? I can change those keywords around and I can use the same kind of thought process, but change the words like you, synonyms of those words, say them in different ways. But we've got those strong ideas in place, these subtopics that we're creating, our strong ideas for the categories that we're going to write about in our blog. The final one, making sure they understand the requirements of the countries that they answer, vaccinations, laws, police policy, etc. What we got here is we've got checklists. No. Okay. We got x-bar checklist, we got nomad checklist, we got country checklist, we got vaccination Checklist. We've got all of these different types of checklists that we can actually write about. So I've got some amazing blog topics there. I guess there's some amazing blog categories and topics there. That's what I want you to do. I want you to take your five areas that you're going to talk about. And I want you to turn them into keyword categories. I want you to simplify the sentence. I want you to bring it all together and make them so that you understand exactly what they are saying it in a four to five word sentence or four to five word keyword, that we can start to understand. The core subcategories that we're actually going to use on your blog. Okay, so go ahead and do that. Because over the next few videos, what we're gonna be doing is we're gonna be taking these keywords and we're going to actually be utilizing them on Google and a couple of voters tools to actually find great blog ideas that you're going to write about. I'm looking forward to seeing what you actually do with this because it's really interesting. You're going to use your knowledge of what you know about your blog niche. And you're going to come up with those core topics. Go ahead and do that now. 20. Setting Up Your Categories: In this video, what we're gonna do is we're going to follow on from the last video in terms of actually succinctly actually putting our categories into ideas. And then what we're gonna do is we're going to break them down into single word category terms. In this video, we're breaking them down into single word category terms for the reason that we need to have these as a site structure within our blog. Okay, Let's say we've got our homepage. And then these category elements are going to be our drop-down menus. And what I mean by that is the menus don't have all of our pieces of content underneath them. So there are five ideas or five sub topics that we're actually going to have and we can place all our content underneath them. So with that said, it's pretty easy. I think, I think it's pretty easy. If you don't get it the first time, go back and do it. Don't worry. Look again. It's okay to make a mistake. It's okay to make a mistake and it's okay to decide that you want to change your category at a later date. Something more relevant. So don't let this stop you. Okay. So let's get into it. The next thing that I need to do is actually to create the categories for the website. Now categories in themselves are what are seen as subtopics of your main idea. So as we know that my blog idea is about living in Asia and leaving the nine to five or the digital nomad lifestyle. And my categories as a general are how to leave the nine to five benefits of leaving the nine to five, how to plan leaving, climbing new country of destination and then checklists. What I need to actually start doing it now is I need to break these down into single word categories that are basically going to be aware, went on creating posts about that particular topic. I place them underneath it. I'm going to show you this in a moment. What I need to do now is I need to think about this, how to leave the nine to five. So potentially quitting, quitting your job. That's the first one. Next one, benefits of leaving. We could just leave it as benefits. Then how to plan leaving and then we could go planning. Then we could go maybe as in something like maybe call it a requirements. Then basically this one would be checklists. What I've got now is I've got five different categories. I've got quitting, I've got benefits, I've got planning, I've got requirements and I've got checklists. And what I want to basically do is I want to make sure that when I'm actually creating my posts and when you're creating your posts, that they fall under one of these, okay, so we already know that we've got our categories under, run a fall under the categories. These are just the broken down keywords, single keyword of the category. What we need to do now is we need to create these actually inside of our dashboard. We're just going to come into our dashboard here and we're gonna come to posts and then two categories. Now they're potentially is some already in here and you can delete the ones that aren't relevant to lease. We can't do the uncategorized well, but there's a tips as well and I actually liked tips and I've used tips before, so I'm gonna leave tips in there. But what I'm gonna do is I'm going to create these new ones as well. So quitting, I'm just going to call it QUIC ING. I'm just going to put the same thing in there. And I'm not going to have it as any parent category for it. Then what I could do is is add a short description in here. What I've done is I've just put if you're looking to quit your job and begin to a digital nomad existence, then this is the right place for you. As you can see, quit your job is obviously keyword, digital nomad is a keyword as well. So all I do once I've created that is I click add new category. As you can see, description and the quitting that's created. Next I go to benefits, something like this. So benefits linear jobs are so many benefits to not only your health and happiness, but your overall life too. Once I've done that, I'm just going to click Add new category. Again. I'm just going to look at planning. Again. There we go. There's the next one. Again, we're gonna go requirements. That is basically the next one. I'll just click add new category here. And then the next one we go to checklists. There we go. We've got our 12345 and then potentially we might keep tips as well, okay? But all we basically do when we're in our content, once we've created our content pieces, we need to go and create them inside of posts. We will have an area. Let's say here we are in Tokyo Food Guide. This is just a piece of content that was already on this blog. But all we're basically gonna do once we're in here is we want to put it underneath a category. On the side here, as you can see, it has categories. While we do. So that could be requirements there, or it could be tips or whichever one it actually is. Once we've chosen that, that's it. Then we just continue on with the creation of our article. That's how we utilize categories in our content and set them up. So what you need to do is you need to go into your content and you need to break them down into single words. And then you're going to create them inside of categories, which is inside of posts on here. 21. Your First Keyword Strategy Walkthrough : This video is going to be paying attention to these pieces really, really, really, really important. There are two different keywords, strategies that I discuss in this video. I'm only going to utilize one keyword strategy at the moment, okay? So there are two and I'm only going to utilize one. At the end of this training, you will see that there is an advanced section. Now, in an advanced section, you're going to find the second keyword strategy. And the reason why I'm putting it in the advanced section is because I want you to focus on strategy one. I want you to focus on the strategy that we're discussing mostly in this video. The reason that I want you to focus on this strategy is because the other one is tough to get to grips with. So I want you to build a momentum and consistency using this strategy here before you actually move on to the advanced keyword strategy. Now, when you get into the advanced keyword strategy, that's going to give you a never ending supply of keywords. It's going to give you a never-ending supply of keywords that you can potentially write content about. But in order to get off the ground, I want you to utilize this strategy. So don't even think about the well, not the end until you've created 30 blog posts. Like seriously, don't even think about going there until you've created your first 30 blog posts on your blog, you're happy with the process you're actually going through. And you feel that you can actually advance yourself in your understanding of keyword research. I named your understanding of finding blog topics. Because if you try to do the second one, you're gonna get bogged down and you're going to get lost. And that's the last thing I want you to actually do. I give you the easy way first. In the following video, I'm going to give you an even easier or another and adoption of this one as well. So it's the same strategy mixed in a different way. But don't dump order with the advanced section yet. Just get to grips with what this one is first before you advance on that. With that said, let's get into this one. So you know what keyword research is. You understand the tools that we're going to use and you've also come up with your keyword categories. So the next step is we're going to look at different keywords strategies that you can use to find a blog post ideas. Okay, so this is super, super important. This is where it starts to come together. Okay? So this is where all of your work, so all of your ideas, all of that. It's coming together and you're going to actually start seeing blog post appearing and you're gonna be able to use them. Okay, so this is quite a lengthy process though. This is going to be this whole Keywords section. As you can see, it's quite lengthy, but this is the thing that sets you apart from everybody else. This is the thing that gives you to traffic. It gives you the visitors, it gives you potentially the sales as well. Keyword strategies. The first thing we're gonna look at is I want you to get these things together, okay, So I want you to get your keywords. Remember these. So this was taken from your sheet, would have been from here my blog ideas. So you would've taken this and you would've broke them down. Then you're gonna have these, these are called iteration. Iteration is basically means different ways of saying them utilizing synonyms and things like that. That's gonna be important as well. And again, that will be you using your knowledge of the niche, but also utilizing Google and understanding how to say things in a different way. Because here's the thing. Sometimes like, let's give you an example here. Let's say imagine how to leave the nine to five. So let's say that was my category. But imagine if I was able to say that in a different way. That got a lot more searches and a lot more ideas for blog posts. But it's still kept the same idea. It is still kept the same over encompassing idea of how to leave the 95, but it was just sat in a different way. That's what you've got to understand how to do as well. Okay? That basically is just looking on Google and basically looking for synonyms of words. So an example would be how to leave the nine to five, had to quit the nine to five. How to stop the nine to five. Okay. So how to stop your work, how to stop working? Things like that. Alright, so they are iterations of the same meaning. After that, what we've got is we've got. Our keywords are starters. So things we start with, okay, so we've got our keywords, we've got iterations, and then we got these things. And what we're gonna do then is we're going to search on Google for keywords associated with them. So we're going to use these and the iterations with these here. That's exactly what we'll be doing and that's gonna be the basis for pretty much all of our research in finding our blogposts. Kinda pretty crazy, isn't it To think that from your few ideas that you wrote down about your blog, which would be here. We're gonna find all of the keyword, all of the blog post ideas that you're actually going to use. That's fun, That's super, super fun. So let's go on to the different types of keywords strategies that you're actually going to use. So there's two keywords, strategies that you're actually going to use. That's it Just to their keywords strategies, but their post finding ideas strategies, their post finding ideas strategies. So the first one is k WE plus trends. So that's Keywords Everywhere plus Google Trends. Out of what we use this for is we use this to spot killer blog topics. This strategy which are going to run through in a moment is awesome for Big, Easy traffic. And I recommend using this every month. If we can find about four or five different blog post ideas with this number one key strategy here. Then we're gonna be able to bring in easy traffic into our blog. So let me just write this in here. We're going to look for four to five every month. Okay. Now, the thing is why I'm saying four to five every month is because to be honest, these things are like gold dust, disk Keywords Everywhere and trends. It's like gold dust. It really, really is. When you find them, you have the ability to jump to the top of the search engines almost instantly. I call it the nur strategy. This is called the North. The North strategy, which basically means the no other option ranking strategy. As a new blog, it is massively beneficial for you to actually utilize it because it gets you traffic really, really quickly, visitors really, really quickly. So that is the first strategy, okay, and I'm gonna show you that in a moment. The second strategy that we're going to use is Google Search. Plus our starters, which are these things here this Sunday. So plus people also ask plus related keywords, plus trends. And now I know that might sound like a lot of things that we're gonna be plotting plus and plus and plus. But it's not really all that basically is, is we're gonna Google search when our starters look at the people also ask unrelated and then put them into trends. That's it. I should have probably gone like this pillow starters. And then that could go to people also asked plus related. And that can go to trends like that. Okay? What that's gonna do is that's gonna give us a rough idea of the articles that we can actually write. Then by utilizing trends, we're going to get a rough idea of the search volume of those articles into trends data. But not only that, we're going to get a huge amount of blog post ideas. Let me say that again too. You got to show you how to do this. We're going to use Google Search. We're going to use this here. And this potentially the iterations as well. When it appears we're going to look at people also asked and the related searches down the bottom of Google. We're gonna put them into a sheet that we actually have. Let me see. Do I have this sheet active here? Yeah, we do. So in the sheet with the search investigation sheet, we're gonna put these into here. We're going to put the people also ask and the related queries into here. We're going to put them into here. It's going back to here. Then what we're gonna do is we're going to search on Google Trends for each one of those ideas that we find in people also asked and in related keywords. What this is going to do when we find that the information on Google Trends, that's gonna give us a rough idea of the search volume based on the trends data that we actually see. We put the information into Google Trends. We look at Google trends. That's gonna give us a rough estimation of the search volume based on that trends data. Okay, and also we're going to get a huge amount of blog ideas. Next point here. So there are two strategies that we're going to be using, okay? So they are the main things that we're actually going to be using. Notes. As I said before, using your brain. If a keyword doesn't appear when we utilize it in Google or in Google Trends. We got to use synonyms. Remember I said it before, iterations, iterations and let me just, I'm gonna move this over here. Iterations and synonyms, SYN ON EMS, we're going to use synonyms, okay? As you can see here, an example would be truck. Synonym is Laurie horse. People potentially call it a pony, compact, lightweight, binoculars, field glasses. Now, while they might not be exactly the same, they are utilized by people for the same kind of meaning. We've got to look at it like that as well. So that's where when we're searching on Google and also on Google Trends, if our keywords or if the words that we're putting into there don't appear initially, then we've got to move the words about. We've got to change words while still trying to keep the same meaning so that we're actually going to get, we're actually going to see trends data, which is then going to be able to point us in the direction that says, well, if there's trends that are showing, well then potentially the searches for that key term are gonna be this amount. Right? So that's the different keyword strategies that we're actually going to use. Now what I'm gonna do is I'm going to actually show you how we use Keywords Everywhere and trends. And I'm just going to show you on here first off, okay? So imagine I went to Google Trends and I did a search for Minecraft Server. Now, this strategy here, this nor strategy is extremely, extremely powerful. It really, really is powerful. It basically is, is we're looking for new search terms or related search terms that are happening now at the moment. We're looking for these search terms in a way that when we search on Google, we can see that not many people are writing about that search term. So an example would be like, let's say, Alright, so I'm actually going to show you this on Google. Let's say, let's say here is one of them here. How to find a seed of a Minecraft Server to you who's probably listening to this or watching this. You're not going to know very much about mine, Minecraft or seeds of servers and all that kind of stuff. But it has 1900 searches per month. Okay, So what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna go over to Google now. I'm going to type in how to find the Minecraft Server. Here I am out of find a Minecraft Server. As you can see, loads of listings in here, stacks and stacks. Okay, so what it's basically doing is it's pulled back 3 thousand or 3,000,860 thousand results as for how to find the Minecraft Server. But when you look at that, you would probably go into yourself, oh my God, how am I going to compete against that? And here's how I'm going to show you. You're going to use this all in title, search operator. What all entitled basically does is it makes Google show you all of the websites that actually have this keyword or any keyword that you put in in the title of the website. The title of a website that appears on Google, like these kind of things. That is one of the top determining factors. Would Google deciding what your webpage is about. Okay. If you have that on your website, google gives you a positive tick to say that this content is written about this topic here or this keyword here. If a person has it in their title, that means that it's a very good indicator that the content is about that. If we find listings or search terms that do not appear in the titles are very many webpages. Well then we know that we were onto a winner. When it comes to keywords. We're, we're onto a winner when it comes to these NOR strategy keywords for making content around that keyword. And let me show you, let me click Enter all entitle. How to find the seed of a Minecraft Server only appears in seven search results. One of them is this here, one of them is Quora, one of them is helpful gamer. And as you can see if we scroll down here, That's it. That's it down here. About seven results. If we are able to do that, if we're able to find these keywords that have 1900 searches and we're able to DIN. Create those blog posts around those types of searches that have good search volume would very little competition. Well then we're able to jump really quickly to the top of the search engines and steal all of that traffic from people who have not optimized their website with that keyword into their title. That's pretty cool, isn't it? So we're gonna be able to do that by utilizing Keywords Everywhere plus trends. And it's gonna show us the information in here, how to find the seat of a Minecraft Server. Then we're going to go to Google and see if it has results in there. See how many results are actually in there. I want to have a quick run through Keywords Everywhere on trends. But here's the thing we did. Okay? It doesn't always work in Google Trends book. When it does work in Google Trends, you spot killer idea is really, really easy. Now, another way that you can do it is by using Google and Keywords Everywhere. That is explained more in side of fraud is called the North strategy. So look out for the video, the NOR strategy, and I'll show you exactly step-by-step how to actually utilize that using Google, the Keywords Everywhere is the easy side of it. We're going to have a look at Keywords Everywhere and Google Trends. The thing that we need to do is we need to make sure that we have our keywords. You remember, you grab these keywords from, are, we made these from here. We needed these. These were from your blog ideas and we broke them down. Now we need to make, we need to start investigating these on, on Google Trends. And always remember questions are a good place to start. You got to use your brain with these things. You got to think, what will people actually be searching for? Potentially, there'll be searching for how to quit my job or how to leave my job. So let's start with that. Okay, let's go over to Google Trends now and have a look for that search. How to quit? Quit my job. As we can see, we've got big search terms already, but we have no related queries in here. So that's a bit of a nightmare because that's where we actually see these ideas. All right, so that's where we see the idea is that we can actually steal some potentially we're gonna change this header, quit, Jump C. Alright, so there's more searches there potentially. Alright. So do you see what I did? I just took out my on it made it showed more and more people are just putting in how to quit job. Let's have a look down here. We can see how to quick job and Sims how to quit your job at rental property. So that's a big thing. Obviously, people thinking of buying and renting out properties, how to quit your job and get a better look at it. That's not really our search term that we're looking for. Let's go to quit your job and get a better one. Drug and get a, get a better one. Alright, so not how to quite your job. I quit your job. Let's see. Let's put remember ALL IN title in front of it. Let's see how many listings. So 29 results, That's it guys. We're only up against 29. So what I do is that's pretty good. That basically means that there's only 29 competition who are after it. Now because of the level of competition in this niche, it might be more difficult to rank for it, but it's still gonna be pretty easy compared to other things. So I'm gonna make a note of that. So how to then what I'd like to do is I like to just put 29, so that'd be the search results. And then I'm gonna come back over and look at how many 880 searches per month. Okay. I'm just gonna put in 880. Okay. I'm gonna go and look again how to professionally credit job. Let's have a look at that. Again. How to not quite too quick. 28 results in this. Okay, So these are all breakouts or basically this is meaning that people are looking for these. This is a new search term that's on the market. People are looking to do it. Not many people are jumping on these key term yet, but people will. So it's your responsibility to jump in and get get this done really, really quickly. And so there are 28, and I know that there are 1000 searches. Let's have a look at the next one. How to quit your job professionally. There are 27 in here. Had to quit your job profession and I'm going to copy that. I'm going to come back into here. I'm going to put it in and we're just going to say 27. I'm going to say about a thousand as well. I think it was a 1480. Alright, so I was wrong. But what? I've got potentials in here, I've got three potentials in here from one search. Okay. Maybe how to leave, we could try even leave, see if that pops up anything. Okay. It has it again. That's pretty cool. I like that. Hadn't leave a job on good terms. Let's have a look on here. So there's 47 and that I think that's a bit too much. I don't want to be going after that. Okay. Let's go again. Let's have a look here. How to know when to leave a job. Alright, so that's pretty good. People looking for the right time. So that's 39. Again, there are quite a few searches in these ones, not very many. Considering how to answer, why do you want to leave your job? Let's have a look at this one. I'm just going to press this because I wanted to edit this. Alright, so this could be one because it's a longer-term phrase. So if we just put it into here, see how to answer. Alright, how to answer? What do you want to leave? Your current job has got 23. So we're going to use this one. We're going to come to here. Then we're going to have a lucky it back in here. How many didn't actually have? Let's click on it. There's quite a few searches for, let's say about 1000 searches actually for that, okay, there were 23. But what I'm trying to show you here is finding these things and then creating your content around these keywords is not difficult. As you can see from my singular keyword that I had here, I was able to create a couple of different keyword variations now gets easier as you get along with this. So if I'm going to put in another one, had lived in 95 potentially this won't come up at all. Yeah. All right. So that's people aren't typing in really that how to, how to quit. Alright, so there's searches in there. There's no related searches, but it shows me that people are actually searching for that. How to quit Job, how to, how else would we say jobs had to quit work. Alright, so that's a big one potentially. No related to how to quit working. Let's go ahead and quit working. No related search, how to stop working. You see what I'm doing? I'm just, these are all really meaning the same thing. I'm just changing how the words are put together so there's no related queries in here. Maybe I'll just go onto the next one. Benefits of leaving work potentially would go to that. Alright, so let's go. Benefits of establishing, let's put in quitting. Alright, so people are looking for that benefits of quitting caffeine. And it does a pretty good one. But enough for the niche that I'm looking for. Quitting Quitting job. All right. So no related queries in their benefits of stumping job. Let's see. Benefits of leaving job that I already do that one. Benefits of leaving job, no related series queries in their benefits of leaving, leaving work. No related queries. But I hope you get the idea that what you're basically doing is you've got your keyword, category ideas like this. And you're going through Google. You're utilizing them for searching for ideas that you can take and then make articles around. And if you can do these, like if you can create like let's say this one, how to answer? Why do you want to leave your current job? Matching? That was something that I had gone through in my blog or my journey. And I'm going to be discussing on my blog. So imagine my old boss when I was in London, said to me Kiran, why is it that you actually want to leave your current job? Then I can talk about the reasons why I actually wanted to leave my current job and how I can communicate them to my boss. Now if I can write that well and optimize it properly using the same structure that I'm gonna show you in the optimization of your blog posts, then there's a high chance that I get to the top of the search engines and I get all of those trough, all of that traffic. And it, Here's the thing about search engines. Even though it says it hasn't searches here, that's not going to be the only traffic that you're actually going to get to your blog. Because those times and searches, remember there are different keyword iterations to this. So this has multiple different ways that people will say it. Once Google starts to see you that you're answering that question, well, it starts to rank you for those other keywords as well, which means that you are getting a lot more traffic from a lot more keywords based on the content that you've actually written, which is why learning search engine optimization that you're doing now is super, super important because it is the best way to drive free traffic to your websites on 2-year blocks. Give that strategy a try. Give the keyword strategy and try Keywords Everywhere, width, Google Trends, and also make sure that you look at the newer strategy as well. 22. NOOR 1: If you've had a great introduction into keyword research there you've looked at Keywords Everywhere. You've looked at Google, you've looked at trends, you see what's actually going on there. Now in this video, what we're gonna do is we're going to take it a step further. I'm going to introduce to you what is called B14 strategy. And what this basically is is the no other option ranking strategy. And it uses a mathematical formula which is so simple by the way, that basically enabled you to see whether you have a rainy, really good chance of actually ranking super, super quickly at the top of the search results for your chosen key phrases. Now, I'm going to take you through this presentation that's about 1520 minutes. Okay? What it's gonna do is it's gonna give you the overview of exactly what the North strategy is, how you use it, how do you figure it out? So by the end of it, you're going to know exactly what you need to do. I'm super excited for this one for you, so let's get into it. Okay, so cool. What we're basically going to look at now is an absolutely brilliant strategy. And this is called the newer strategy or the no other option ranking strategy. Now you see when it comes to breaking out of the Google Sandbox, there's a neat way to actually do it because remember I spoke before about your website when it's brand new. Google kind of put it in this sandbox. It takes about three months or so for you to actually get out. The reason that they put you in this sandbox is basically this. They don't know whether you're the real deal. They don't know whether your pretend website who's out there to scam people or anything like that. And they want to see the signals that your site is there for the long run to enable them to start actually ranking you? There's an answer. What that basically means is that they're gonna take their time to actually send you traffic for your main keywords. But there's a cool little strategy that I use to basically start getting really good traffic to your website, it pretty much from day one. What this basically does is this gives Google the impression that we're actually the expert in our chosen field. Even before they have time to actually decide for themselves. What it actually is is it's a super simple way to get your page organic visits, which are super targeted to what it is you're offering and which people are gonna love all within the first few days of starting your website. So as you can see, this is really, really, really important for you to actually get down. Now, while it does take a little bit of effort to actually find the elements of the nerve strategy. Once you find them, they're going to work for you so well. They really are. They can bring in so many visitors into your website. And the more of this, more of these pages and more of these keywords that you actually find, the better it's gonna be for traffic in the long run for your website. Okay, so let's look at why this is so good for you as a new affiliate. While also just, just to make a point here. This isn't just for new affiliates, okay. It's for anyone that needs to prove to Google that what they are doing on their new website or on their website is legit quickly. So the reasons that it's so good is number one, it makes your site rank really easy. When it normally takes a few months for your sites to actually rank number two. You can also rank without the use of backlinks, which is a massive bonus. Number three, you can grab pretty much the top spot in Google if done correctly. And that's obviously a huge, huge bonus. And number four, the reason it's so successful is because what you're actually doing is you're using the Blue Ocean Strategy, which I spoke about earlier, not the red ocean packed full of competition. You basically have very little people to actually fight against when using the KGB, our number five. You do this by targeting the long tail, meaning known general terms, but actually super specific terms to your niche. Okay, So how does the KG our work? Well, it's pretty simple really. So number one, what you're doing is you're looking to find keywords that have low searches per month, lower than about 258. That's the search volume. That basically means you're looking for keywords that are not searched, more than 250, okay? So the next thing that we do is we do an all entitled Search to see how many listings are actually using that exact keyword in their search title tag or in their website title tag. And then the next part is we divide the number of searches by the number of all entitled results, as you can see here. Now what you are looking for is this okay? If you get less than 0.25, this is a prime candidate keyword. To create content around. Alright, so as you can see, it says great here, okay? Now if you get 0.25 to one, then it might work and you can eat or try it or move on. And if you get over one, well then don't bother trying. And that's basically as simple as it is, the KG, our ratio to help you create great quickly ranking content. So there are a couple of tools that you can actually use for this. One of them is Keywords Everywhere. This is a great tool that can show you how many overall searches are being made for a search term. It's paid, but costs around $10 for a 100 thousand keywords, ideas. Plus it's great and gives you so many other examples of related keywords that you can potentially use and you can actually download that. I'll put a link beside the video. You can download that and added to your desktop via Chrome web store. The next one is keyword surfer Madison, a free tool and is used for specific country locations. I actually, I use it some time, not as much as I actually use Keywords Everywhere. The next tool I use, which potentially you already know about is called answered a public. That gives you only to free searches per day, so only use it. You can pay for the updated version, but I don't really think you needed at the time being. But what this basically does is it's a really cool website. I like it a lot. It gives you a whole list of questions that people ask. When used with Keywords Everywhere in you get really, really good information on potential KG, our keywords to use in your content. And as you can see here, I did a search for a product name here. And then it gave me a huge list of keywords that I can potentially use for articles. Before I can use them, I have to check if they are relevant. And for this we will use the keyword Everywhere to what you basically got to do is you just download the keywords and then you paste them into Keywords Everywhere. You paste them into keyword Everywhere, which I'll show you in a little bit. Let's imagine that you've found your keywords, they work for you. So what that basically means is that they are less than 250 searches per month. So let's say you use keyword everywhere you find it at the searches associated with them. You found, let's say this one here. What is yoga? Good for? You see this here. So keyword everywhere it gives you this information here. So volume 70 and then your competition, etc. So it's got 70 searches per month. What is yoga good for? Next evolve. We know that the next thing we got to look for is the Olin titled. What we do is we put in the old entitled search operator, just, just a fancy word for all entitled colon or semicolon. What this basically does is this allows you to limit the search engine results to only pages that have this specific keyword you chosen in the webpage title. Okay, That's really, really important. For this. You simply do the following. You type in all entitled semicolon. And then your keyword, like in the image shown here. Then what you do is you take a note of the number of results. As you can see here, the results are for, so that's pretty crazy, isn't it? You'd think that keywords like water is this thing a yoga actually good for what have a lot more searches than that, but it hasn't are a lot more all entitles than that, but it hasn't, it only has four. So after you've got both of these numbers, the search results and the Orlean title results, then you're simply going to do a quick calculation. That is the old entitled Divided by the search results. And that's going to give you your figure. Your KG are. And as mentioned before, if you get less than 0.25, this is a prime candidate keyword to create content around. If you get 0.25 to one, then it might work and you can either try or move on. But if it's over one, then you don't bother trying. When you have these keywords. Then you have to make a piece of content around that keyword. I like to make sure that all of my KG, our articles and posts are over 600 words. The great thing is you can write these in about 20 minutes. For me. What I actually do is I find a huge list of KG RR to build for a project that I'm working on, on IEEE eight or outsource it. Or I do it as a passion project to get to understand the market more. I try to write at least one KG our article in the morning before breakfast. If I keep this up for two weeks to a month, I've a serious amount of organic traffic coming to my news site. Google absolutely loved me because what I'm doing is I'm helping the search engine by giving it good-quality contents so relevant to their searches that they have no other option but to rank me. If you can do this, you're going to get ranked by Google because there are basically no competition there as you solve for that search result in the past slide, it only had four competition, all entitled. Let's have another go. As you can see with this one, you can even use it for physical products. Let's say if you're selling via Amazon or even your own products, you can make some serious or gets some serious traffic and cash by doing the no other option strategy, this search gets 260, it searches per month. And if you do an old entitled search again, you can see that the all entitled search for this is only seven searches. Doing our quick all into are doing our quick KG, our calculation. Again, we can see that we're well in the frame of 0.25. And remember I'm just gonna repeat this again for you. 0.25 and below is a prime candidate keyword to create content around. If you get 0.25 to one, then you might create content that rendered and why not give it a go? But first go on the lesser ones. I don't know if it's overwhelmed, then don't, in trying another keyword, this time for affiliate products. And as you can imagine, you could potentially sell something like click funnels for this. Or even you see Wix or Squarespace searches best website builder for therapists. And it got 50 searches per month. And all entitled best website building for therapists is seven. And we do our KG, our calculation, and it comes out 0.14. Now let's look at something that doesn't work. I know this can be tempting to start ranking for higher searches, but hold off. Okay? So what we can actually see here is let's say you of how to build a website from scratch. And it has a search volume of 4,400. Now, it has all entitled him 758. Now, while the numbers do fit, the number of results is just too much. If you have too much competition, especially for a new site with the noaa or Option ranking strategy, you're not going to rank. Okay, so what we're looking for is the places where we, Google has no other option than to put us there when it has four or seven or ten results there. Okay? So even though the calculations work on things like this, please make sure that you stick on there. 250. What do you do once you've found out those keywords numbers? Well, the content creation part should be as easy as possible. So what you're gonna do is you're going to look at what is already showing there in the search results. And then you break down each piece of content and make an average word count, which I've shown you how to do before. If there are non-existent pages and social sites with little or no content will, then that's pretty easy. You can actually go and look at the sites. They're doing it on the social sites and actually duplicate those listings on social sites as well. But in terms of the content creation for your own pages, well then just ignore those pages completely, okay, and just focus on the other pages that are actually they're the ones that were written content on it. So make sure that there are at least 600 words. You want to make sure that you've got your SEO title in there. Look at what they're doing with their titles and replicated. You also want to make sure that you have that keyword in there obviously as well. You have that keyword in your URL as well, and also in your page title. So you rework your page title, just like I've shown you how to do In your SEO title, reworked. And then you basically share your content on social sites as well. And what you also want to do as well is you're gonna use ping automatic and pink color to sell the search engines that you're ready to be indexed. And pretty much that's it. So that's how easy it is to actually get your website ranked using the no other option ranking strategy. So I've just got a couple more examples for you of different, of different websites that actually are different keywords, search terms that you can actually look at. So commission-based business ideas, it has 90 search volume, but the old entitle is very low. As you can see, you got eight all entitled search results. For this, you could basically go and advertise commission-based business ideas. Find the list of those kinds of things. Business ideas for disabled people. That's another one. Okay? So potentially you can find business ideas, potentially its affiliate products. Then you could actually create content around that as well. As you can see, it's got nine results as well. So the opportunities for finding these no other option keywords are massive. So if you want to get your website ranking, ranking really, really quickly, make a list of 20 to 30 of these, no other option ranking keywords. And basically you're goanna and then create content that random, as I said, 600 plus words. In the next video. I'm, what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna go through the keyword Everywhere and show you actually how to use that potentially then how to find those keywords for yourself as well. Okay, so go back over this strategy. This is so, so, so, so important. 23. NOOR 2: Well, what do you think of that? That's awesome, isn't it? That's so good. Do you see the power of it? Do you see the power of being able to figure out what those search terms are, how much they're being searched on how many people actually are competing against you. When you do that mathematical formula, then basically it all just makes sense. So in this video, what we're gonna do is we're gonna take it a step further. In the last video, you got an overview. In this video now, we're going to actually go and do a practical demo of that strategy so you can follow along, do it in your own niche on basically get the same kind of results that I get my blogs. Dc super, super, super important. So if I haven't said it already, I want you to basically find seven days worth of content associated with this strategy. Find seven days. Then next week, I want you to find seven days after it. Next week I want you to find seven days after it next week I wanted you to find seven days after. There's a video on the seven-day cycle after this, which I want you to pay attention to. What I will say about this. Stick with this until you have at least 30 blog posts created. The Keywords Everywhere in Google Trends. And this stick with these two to make sure that you have at least 30 blogposts created. And then you're gonna set yourself up for a much, much stronger blog initially. And as it grows, I want your name to go and look at the advanced keyword section. But don't look at the advanced keyword section yet because it is pretty advanced. So with that said, let's get into the application of this super excited for you. I'm gonna show you how to use Keywords Everywhere. Now there are two options. You can use it on Chrome or you can use it on Mozilla. I like to keep it on my Mozilla tab. Okay? That's because when I'm searching, I don't use Mozilla. Mostly. What I do is I use Mozilla just for keywords everywhere, just for keyword research. And the reason being is that every time I do a search, I don't want my credits Running out of Keywords Everywhere. What I do is I just type in keywords everywhere. You've got two options. You got to download it from your Chrome tab here. And you just added just like you would any other Chrome web thing or web app. You just kinda like so you'd say, it would say download now, are installed now, etc. etc. Okay. So once you've done that, what you'll notice is you'll notice all of these kind of things on the side of your search bar. So related keywords, it's gonna give you all of these people also search for long tail keywords, et cetera, et cetera. What it does is it gives you the volume, the cost-per-click, meaning how much on average, people actually spend for competing for these keyword on AdWords. And then CMP, which is your competition, okay? Then a trend. So that's basically saying that it's a pretty steady trend in terms of the searches that people are actually making for it. Okay? So this could be anything like in terms of any of the keywords that you are actually searching for. So potentially, if we were looking for how to make puff pastry, what it's basically gonna do is it's gonna tell us that the search volume here, this is from Keywords Everywhere is 2400 per month. Okay? What it's gonna do here along the side is it's gonna give us the related keywords to my search. Okay, So what you're gonna be basically doing, remember you want to be looking for keywords that are less than 250 searches. Now, the ones that you can find here are metes puff pastry. Now there are ones that have 0, but you don't really want to be focusing on those. So potentially we could have a look at Mid East puff pastry. So I clicked on that. It's going to say 90. Alright. Now what I can do is I can just put it in my old, alright, so I just do it as simple as that. Let's see how many search results are going to show. Now, I think this is gonna be a bad or I think they're gonna be lots and lots of search results for this. Well, look at there are 30 search results for that. What I then do is I would divide the the meetings, puff pastry, all entitled by the number of search results. And then I would get my calculation. The calculation would be 30 divided by 90. And then let's see 0.3333. And as you know, that fit halfway in the middle, okay, So that's over 0.25. But tangibly you can write for this. But I wouldn't go for it straightaway. If we went and looked at the fault, is what is the stronger yoga good for? Going to tell us that we got 50 searches. Now, what we're going to basically do is we've got to put in our ALL IN title and let's see how many are in there now. Five results now. Then what we do is we would again do our five divided by 50 and we get 0.1. So that would fit perfectly still. So that's a market that you can actually go into right now and actually look for. So what you're going to be doing here is you're going to come to Google. Potentially. You're going to put in your main keyword in here, and you're going to look, so let's say if it was bought, is Tanga do yoga or let's say I wanted to understand a yoga was your main keyword. Okay. What you'd be doing is you'd be looking down the side at your results here. There's the what is your styling a yoga good for. And then there's what is your stung a yoga primary series which only has ten searches. So I wouldn't really go for that. You'd be looking for the ones that, let's say what is this thing a yoga in Hindi, I don't know about this one at all. And then when you could do an all in title for that, if that was part of your keywords, then you can see that would fit in again. All right, so you can create your website was a bad stung, a yoga. You could have two articles there. You can have one owner standpoint is just Tonga yoga, good for what does your stung a yoga in Hindi. Then you could create content around them. So you're putting your main keywords in here and you're going through what is on the side of there to actually find the keywords that you need. If you wanted to speed that up and actually make it much, much quicker. What you're going to basically do is we're going to look at, we're gonna look at using Answer the Public. Okay. I want you to come here to answer the public.com, okay? You just gonna do a search for your keyword in here. Like before I showed you in the Slideshare, I just used piano for all as an example. And that's the brand name of a clique bank product. What I basically do is I'm just gonna click Search. You can change the location to be us wherever it actually, whichever country you're targeting us is normally the one that you want to go for. What you've got is some piano free for all questions. So these are, how much would it cost to tune a piano? How much his piano for all, had to learn all the keys on piano, what our piano keys albedo. So we've got loads and loads of questions and these are things that people are actually asking. Piano forall versus flow key. What you'll notice here is you've got a 176 alphabetical means that the alphabetical order of the piano for all keywords. Sorry, excuse me. What you've got is, you see these things here. You don't get this. If you don't have keyword everywhere. This is really cool. So it tells you which ones you can potentially a target. What you want to do once you see all of them is you just got it downloaded as a CSV. Then what I want you to do is once you've downloaded as a CSV, just going to delete that. Delete all those. All you're gonna do is this you just got to, these are the keywords that were in there. You're just going to copy all of them and you're going to go back into here, into your keywords everywhere. Let's say you were, you hide your keyword Everywhere installed. You're just going to click bulk keyword data. And then you paste your keywords in here. And you're going to click Get Metrics. Then what you have is you can sort by global search volume. And then what you're gonna do is you're going to have a load of keywords in here between, I'd still go to 260, okay? But what you've got is you've got a load of keywords in here, between 320, all the way down. This is what you basically do. You're just gonna have to go this one out of time. I go. Piano for all piano notes. If for all piano. Let's say it was piano for all Robin hall. I don't even know what this is at all. Okay. So you'd just go all it has 204 results and you know straightaway that, that's not gonna work for you. So you go back into your keywords and then you're gonna go, what are white keys on a piano cold. Alright, so there you go. You got one article associated with piano for all our piano keys, which basically then go into the idea of piano for all. That's what you do. That's how you use the public with Keywords Everywhere to find Google, obviously, to find the keyword golden ratio keywords for you. As I said, you want to be getting enough for a month's worth of content. You can create stacks and stacks of content associated with your niche. Once you've actually, you've done that yourself, you know, the more content that you actually create for your websites that are on topic unrelated, the better your website is gonna become. So, you know, when you're actually making your affiliate commissions, make sure you're investing that affiliate commissions back into your website. Get writers for your content. And then you're building and building your building a long-term sustainable business. So get cracking on that. You'll see there's a couple of moving parts in it, but they're really, really good and they're gonna help you rank and get loads and loads of traffic, which in turn will turn into affiliate sales. 24. Figuring Out The Best Article Types: In this video, what we're actually gonna do is we're going to look at the different types of article or blog types that you can actually utilize on your blog. Here's the thing with this, okay, don't let it confuse you. Really don't let it confuse you. Because when it comes to creating content, pretty much all of the content follows a set structure. It follows kind of like this keyword, a title, an introduction, answering the keyword that is in your title, then kind of hate points and all these kind of things you would've picked up what Haidt points are inside of the optimization, inside of the optimization manifesto. So make sure if you don't know what the Haidt's points are, that you'd go back to the optimization manifesto. But the reason that I'm saying that it all follows the same structure is because as you'll see in this video, there are nine points in a structure of a piece of content. And there are images and all the stuff that I didn't really mention inside of there. But there are nine main points and you can pretty much use all of the nine, or you can eliminate 19, or you can eliminate two of the nine, whatever it is to actually fit with the type of article that you're actually creating. So it's actually pretty cool. Look at it. You will get the idea of it. Again. Maybe just focus on one at a time. So focused on something like the list article first off, or focus on the answering a question article or focus on kind of like the, the checklist are to go which is super, super simple. Just take your time, go through it, enjoy it. Like actually really enjoy it because you're gonna be creating these types of articles on, you're gonna find the one that really stands out for you. But I recommend having a few different types that you can fall back on. Like I tell you that I fall back on. So anyway, with that said, let's get into the articles. In this video lesson, we're actually going to look at different article types that you can utilize on your blog because there are so many different articles that you can actually do. But some of them stand out above the rest of them. So I'm going to go through them. If you look over here on the right-hand side, you can see different types of blog posts you can write this year. And it's got a list of z or one to 36. So you've got like 36 different ideas that you can actually do inside of there. But the ones that I use predominantly, list posts, how-to guides, checklists and cheat sheets, interviews, Questions, and pretty much all of that content, all the different types of content that you see here that basically is pretty much the same. You take the concepts and then the structure of those concepts is gonna be pretty much the same as you go through it. So you'll understand what I mean by looking at this. All of the article types, they all fit very similar to the structure. So they all have a keyword associated with them. They all have a title associated with them. They all have an introduction, a paragraph associated with them. They potentially have an answer paragraph. Some might, some might not. But the first three are guaranteed number for potentially if you're asking a question in the title or that it is related to a question. Well, then you're answering it and answer paragraph. And then what you'll have is you'll have a segue apart that basically brings you from the introduction into the main points of the article. So the Segue, after that, you'll have your main subtopic. And I call this a subtopic intro with a boom. What I mean by with a boom is that's the point where you grab them further into your article. You'll make this really, really strong point of your article, okay? And all of them are gonna have these, all of these are gonna have this whole boom, this element of grabbing the reader in. Next off what you have is the subheadings. Inside of those subheadings, you're going to have subtopic headings, okay? So you'll have like they're called H2 tags are the subheadings and then subtopic headings are the H3 tags, so Diego underneath the subheadings. Then finally, you have the conclusion. Pretty much all of the article types that you're going to construct, their old, pretty much going to have most of them. They're most one to nine of them there. Okay. If we look over here onto the right-hand side, this is basically just the first part of the article structure or the blog posts structure that you'll actually be creating a new hub this as a template. Okay, So what I would recommend when you're actually creating your articles, no matter what they actually are, I recommend you set it out like this initially until you get used to actually creating your content. And then what you do is you need a main keyword. Then you need your title. You need an intro paragraph as you can see, hit them with a solid welcome. Then you need to answer the title. Give them the answer in the best and easiest way possible, then you'll leave your segue, make them feel that there was a benefit to read on. Then you're going to have your H2, which is your main supply. A good answer related to your overall main question. And then you'll have your subheading points. So this is a must. These points basically must jump out and grab them as well, because you've hit them with that great subheading. And now you've got to hit them with the points that are associated with that. And then it goes down further as well. So they are below on the sheet so you'll be able to look at them. But the thing is with these, this fits into pretty much every article type that you're going to create for your blog or for your website. So an example would be here. These aren't even my pieces of content. These are ones that I've just found online by doing a simple search related to the type of content I was looking for. We're looking for a list. We've got our title, we got our intro, and then we got our h twos are so our main points. Okay, so this is a list. So what this basically is done, this has gone and actually taken a keyword title intro, and then it's gone on to point subheadings. Okay, so that's a list. It's not doing these ones here. As you can see, it's kind of like a pick and mix to see what's working. I'll get to a really important point at the end slide though for you. Next thing we look at is how to guides. Again, we've got our title, we got our main H2. We also have an introduction in there as well. Then we have the answer, the answer topic. Inside of that answered topic, we have the TOC, which is the table of contents. And now all of our blog posts will have that table of contents because we used the easy table of contents plugin. So we automatically get that. Again, it's using the structure from here. I'm just picking the correct ones for it. Next one, we've got our checklists and our cheat sheets. Cheat sheet. Let me just cheat sheet. We've got our title, we've got our intro, we've got our segue, and then it goes down into the further points, like it goes down into these ones here, subtopic point headings. It always there. They're pretty much always the same. And here is the beautiful thing about it. The varying amount of pieces of content that you can actually write, you're never going to run out of ideas. So once you understand how to actually create this thing here, like this is really the key to it. Once you understand how to create this format your content in the correct way, then basically you're gonna be able to create any piece of content absolutely brilliantly that Google and the search engines are going to love. Again, here is a question. You got your, this is from Google, So this is a question on Google appearing on there. You've got your obviously your title in there. You've got your intro and your segue all brought into one. Then you've got your H2 tags in here. Again, utilizing all of the same points that are shown in here. But here's what I wanted to show. There's a good rule when it comes to creating pieces of content. Templates for content work fine like this content. This template here is rock solid. You can use that. No end, you can use that. And it's always going to give you great results. That's the thing. It's always gonna give you great results no matter if you keep it as it is or you want to change, change it and take out bits. It's always going to give you good results. But here's what I recommend. Look at the types of content that are already ranking. See how they format their pieces of content. Do they leave out certain elements? Now, if you look to start seeing, if you use these as your main template, okay? You start going, well, they don't have an answer paragraph in there. And you can kind of say to yourself, well, all right, Well, they don't have an answer paragraph in there, but potentially if I added in and answer paragraph into my blog posts, It's gonna make my blog posts much better. I'm potentially don't know. They don't have a segue. But you decide, well, look, how do I show the reader that there is massive benefit for reading on, because these guys don't do it. They just stop and go straight into points. How do I make it smoother? How do I make it easier for my reader to consume? So that's why I say, see what's ranking, then, make yours better. Now you have this, you have this. I want you to get really familiar with it. And in one of the other videos, you will see how we can actually create the pieces of content from their set it up and then actually talk your blog posts into existence. So get familiar with this. Get familiar with this. It's the same thing. Alright? Then get familiar with the different types of posts that are good for blogs. And also get familiar to spotting what is ranking, seeing what they are missing, and then making yours better. 25. The All Encompassing Blog Post Structure: You now have a great idea of the different article types. And do you remember I said that there was the template, you know, that template with a big red writing in it that you're gonna be able to access where you have access to that now, you've accessed and make sure that you go. It's in the link associated with this video in resources. And what this basically is, I want you to make a copy of that. And I want you to use these, these structure for the creation of your pieces of content. So I want you to get familiar with the structure. And as I said in the last video, you don't have to use all of the points. You can actually eliminate some in certain articles. But remember that you don't need to deviate outside of this structure when you're doing any of the things. Because dot reading that structure, the structure that you're going to learn here. That's what the search engine loves. That's what Google loves, that's what being loves, that's what, yeah, who loves? They love to see the structure that I showed you here. And the reason being is because it's informative, it's educative. If that's the word hedge, you could do. It also displays authority and is also easy to consume. Okay, So with that said, enjoy this again because this is cool, print it off, get familiar with it, and let's have some fun with this. So let's get into it. So here we are at your blog posts template. And I've broken this down into different sections, 123456789. And these are the different sections that you need to actually have within the pieces of content that you're actually creating. Well, not number one, what you need, you need number one. But number one in itself is you need your main keyword for your content. Okay, So that's it. You've always got to have a keyword when you're actually creating content and you realize that you need a keyboard, you've done all of that research and finding keywords, all of that. So you need to have that keyword, that idea, that topic keyword when it comes to actually creating your content. As you can see, my topic keyword is how to create a blog post. Number two is my title. This is my main keyword. And basically what it basically says here is plus front-load the keyword. So this is the SEO title. What I mean by frontload is I mean, put it right there, put it at the start of it. The closer that you can put your main keyword to the start of your title, the more weight that actually gets, the more authoritative, the moral authority of the signal that you're giving to Google and search engines. Next off you have the intro paragraph. I'm just going to read out what it is. So what I've actually done is I'm gonna give the content in the bold is an overview of what you need to do. And then the content on the needed is actually me writing a boat. How to create a blog post and visitors love. Okay, so intro paragraph, hit them with a solid welcome and let them know that they're in the right place and you're going to answer their burning question for them. So here's how I started. Let me guess. You've started a new blog or you're thinking about it. What I do know is this, you're stuck wanting to create a blog post that not only rocks, but also answers your visitors questions. It makes them come back for more while you're in luck because this is what we're gonna do in this post and below you will find the exact formula that I use, the generated 56% return rate on visitors over the last two years. Pretty crazy her with all and all with a simple formula below. So good, solid intro paragraph in terms of fought their go-no and actually learn. The next thing that you need to do is you need to do this. You need to answer the title. How to create a blog post on rocks. And here it is, so we give them the answer in the best easiest way possible if it has multiple sections to it, break it down into bullets. My main goal here is that they can leave happy with the knowledge that they've just found out. So here's how I would approach it. How do you actually create a post of visitors love? Well, the first thing you need to know is it is about structure. If you can get the structure right, it can be used in pretty much 99% of blog posts that you actually write. Actually scratch that a 100% of blog posts, It's as simple as this. So take note number one, the keyword number two to title number 3D intro, paragraph number for the answer, paragraph number five, the Segway in number sixth, subtopic intro when a boom, number seven, the point subheadings. Number eight, the subtopic headings, and finally the conclusion number nine. So that's it, that's great. So now from giving them the answer, the easy answer, without giving them too much information about the answer, we get a segue. We make them feel that there is a benefit, the read-only, even though I've just given them the answer right here. How do we do this? Let's dive into each one of these so I can give you a full answer to each of the sections above or by creating a stellar blog post. Because if you leave any of these out and miss any of the details that are required, your blog posts won't have the power needed to get you to the top of the search engines. I'm bringing in your visitors. Boom. It makes a person kind of go, oh, oh, well, I don't want to miss out anything. So a better start reading next and this is important. So this is number six, your head, H2 subheading. H2 being your header. This is the second most important heading on your whole page. This is what is going to cover the whole idea of the blog posts. What we wanna do is we want to supply a good answer related to your overall main question. Go more in depth, add data knowledge, images, bullet points, etc, and lead with the best. So we want to grab them in, we want to grab their attention with this part that's going to help them basically realized that the content you're giving them is so, so super good. And how we do this is this look, number one. Blogging is an amazing way to not only drive a great amount of traffic to your website, but also build a long-term solid relationship with your readers. When you can build this relationship with your readers, at least to an overall increase in sales ranking on the search engines. And you know, what actually leads to more happiness to. That's from my experience. But don't take my word for it. Did you know the seventy-seven percent of Internet users actually read blogs that have been rated as the fifth most trustworthy source for gathering online information. Pretty awesome. That's really when you think about it. So making sure that you know how to create a blog posts a really engages and build a relationship is so important. The first thing you want to make sure that you get correct is the title. Okay, So do you see what I did? I gave a great introduction to what they're going to learn about the blog post. And I also brought in to the next point which is the subheading. This is number two, as you can see, number one, then number two. Look at, don't worry if this is going very fast. You have all of this, you have this for yourself. I recommend making a copy of this kind of go in here. Make a copy. Alright, What that will do is you copy this. And then what you're gonna be able to do is you're gonna be able to edit that yourself to put your own content in there and use the different structures that I actually have here. Okay, Let's get onto heading two. Alright, so again, just like the main subheading, we've got to make this jump, fill it out with great information, bullet points, etc, and make them super happy that they found your content. Your goal should be that if they leave at any point during your reader, you have made an impression on them. That's what I love to do. So anytime I'm creating posts for blogs, got to think about the person who's reading it. Potentially they're reading it on their phone. I don't want to be creating something big and long-winded that the not gonna get anything from if they leave halfway through, I want them to always be picking up something super valuable along the way, which makes them remember to content and I'm actually creating. So we do this like this. Then what you'll do if we go from here and the first thing you want to do is to make sure you get the content Correct, okay, So you get the title correct. Okay. Then number two to type must jump out to grab them in. Then what you do is give them a good in-depth answer about what the title is. Remember this is related to the overall article topic should be the most important point on your list. So it should be the most important point after your subheading here. As you can see, I use the title as an example of the most important subheading. Would a good title people will be enticed to click on the article, should they read it on your, on social media or the search engines. A good title it accurately and succinctly shows that a person or what a person can learn when they read your content, it makes people want to read further. But most importantly, it's one of the most important keywords related factors that your whole webpage can have. The search engine knows what your content is about, that it helps rank it higher for the chosen keywords which should appear at the first of the front of your title. Example, how to create a blog post that visitors love, like I showed you before. Eye-tracking research says that people scan articles from right to left. So packing your main keyword into the start of the headline means they pick up faster what your content is about, helping them make the split moment decision that your content is the best. So you see what I'm doing. I'm putting in great research about blog posts as well. And then I've got some article reference here, and I've got an image here as well. Then you want to be putting images intro at your content obviously as well. You will of course have images associated with this heading, two bullet points, as you can see, along with any data that might help you convince your reader that what you're saying is critical. Then number eight is, you have up to five more subheadings. Always be on topic, but take it a step further. Think, what does the person reading my content want to do next? Always think about what is next for them. Always think about ease of consumption. Bullets, images, headers, videos, and whitespace. So an example would be, again, you'll follow the same procedure as a subheading layout above. Intro, answer, segue subtopics, some topic headings and then conclusion. And then nine, we've got our conclusion. We want to wrap it up and add a call to action or a recommendation. Example would be leave a comment, visit a page and download freebies, etc. Here's an example of what it is. What you have just gotten now is a masterclass and blog writing layout and how to make the content extremely easy to consume, which in turn helps bring people back to your content. If you want to download the checklist to refer back to, then grab our feet. Free PDF checklist here, you'll see, so I'm putting in that call to action in there or something like this. Writing content can be super long and boring for most anyhow. And if you do this, I recommend looking at the likes of SEO Butler, who are experts in content writing and insert affiliate link. What we could do is we can have an affiliate link in there, or we could have a free email checklist where they actually downloading it and we collect their email addresses. So there you go. That blog posts layout like that, that can be used with pretty much every single blog posts that you actually have to create. You're going to have your title or your keyword, your title, your intro paragraph. You're going to answer the title. Then you're gonna have a segue into your main content. You're going to have your H2 main title. Then you're gonna have your H2 points. And then you're going to have up to five more subheadings underneath there. And then you're gonna have your conclusion to wrap it all up. So go through this again, make sure that you make a copy of this, okay, So you want in here, make a copy, save it as whatever it actually is. And then you can go in and you can utilize this template until you get the hang of creating blog posts for your blog. Hope you enjoyed this because this is really, really cool. 26. Speaking Your Content To Life: Let me start by saying that I liked writing. I love, Actually I love writing. I didn't always love writing. Over my years of blogging. I love, I began to love it so much so because I don't have to work for anybody which has the benefit of actually being a digital marketer on a blogger. I took a job in Cambodia, So I lived in Cambodia for a long time. I took a job in Cambodia and I actually became the editor and chief of fashion magazines in Cambodia. So that basically meant that I had to write lots and lots of content about different different fashion lifestyle. He kind of related stuff. And I took the job because I wanted to get better at writing. That helped me. But for people who don't have that ability to help themselves, when it comes to actually writing. The best thing that my best advice for you is this, right? Have you talk, right? How you talk, talk to your audience, speak to them. Okay? Speaking your language, speaking the language that you're happy to communicate in, because that endears people to you. It makes people kinda like go, this person, I love it. It's almost like they're speaking to me. The best way that I've found to actually do this, the easiest way and the best way to create content nowadays, in my opinion, is by talking your content into existence. So by talking like I'm talking now and actually speaking to your computer, utilizing Google Docs and Google Docs ability to transcribe your voice for free. So I'm gonna show you how you can actually transcribe your articles into existence on the most I'm gonna do it as an example. This whole example is may actually speaking an article that I don't know very much about into existence. As you will see. Excuse me. As you will see, I don't do too bad of a job with it. Now, what I want to also say is when you do it this way, you're going to have to edit the content. If you don't like this way, well then you know, you have the structure of the template. You can actually just utilize the structure of the template and write Europe, write yourself. But for those of us who kinda wanted to speed the process up, I want to speak our content into existence. This is the way for you. So with that said, let's get into it. In this video, what I'm going to show you how to do is to create an article utilizing Google Docs and the layout, the template that we have discussed before. Now as you can see, the keyword that I'm gonna be using is benefits of quitting the nine to five. So what you need to do is you need to put your main keyword in here. Then what you're going to do is you're gonna look for a title idea. Now as you can tell from here, this is top five benefits of quitting the nine to five. So this is gonna be a list post. Okay, so remember we discussed list posts before. What I need to basically do is I need to create an intro paragraph. I need to answer the title. Potentially. I put some keywords in here of five elements as you can see. And then I need to create a segue. And then I need to create I'm a subheading or potentially I can just go straight into the five subheadings, which will be these here. Now, what I'm gonna do here with this is I'm gonna basically time myself to see how long it actually takes me to create this. Now, I'm doing this for a reason because I want to show you how quickly you can actually get content written. If we have a look here, Tools, word count. Alright, so I've got 274 words on the page and I'm looking forward at least 1274 words on the page. Because I want to create the 1000 word article. And I'm just going to speak this article into existence. And yeah, I know I'm gonna speak it into existence and that's what I love. I'm currently wearing a headset, but you don't have to wear a headset yourself. All you need is a computer, laptop that you can actually speak out on talk normally. What will happen is this, okay, so if I come to here Tools, voice typing, if I press this button, watch what happens? Hello, my name is Karen, and I'm actually creating a new content piece for my blog. Now I click off that and it stopped taking my text. But as you can see, I'm just speaking. It's actually writing for me. This is the best way that you can actually create content for your blog. In my opinion, I'm especially if you're new to writing, just actually speak it into existence. What I'm gonna do is I'm going to stop and start myself along the way to show you how this is done. Multiple gonna be timing myself as I said, the first thing is. We understand what our tight list, the top five benefits of quitting the nine to five. Next of all, we need an intro paragraph so we've got a hit them with a solid welcome and let them know that they are in the right place. And you're going to answer their burning question. So here I'm just gonna start. You have been thinking about quitting the nine to five bullet, are unsure of whether it is the right move for you. I quit the nine to five many years ago and have never looked back. During this short article, I'm going to cover the top five benefits that you will have in your life when you quit the nine to five? That took me less than a minute. Okay, So we're just gonna call this one min. As you can see, there are some issues in here, so it's kind of like it hasn't given me proper word. So you've been thinking about quitting the nine to five but are unsure of whether it is the right move for you. I quit the nine to five many years ago and I've never looked back during this short article, I'm going to cover the top five benefits that you have in your life when quitting the nine to five, right. So I'll put that in and that was about a minute, if even a minute to create it. It was probably half more like a half a minute. The next thing that we're gonna do is we're gonna answer the title. But we got to answer it in a way that doesn't take away from what they're going to learn inside it. Okay, so given the answer and the best easiest way possible if it has multiple sections in it, break it down into bullets. But for this, I'm not gonna break it down into Bullets. Okay, the top five benefits that I have found in my life personally, or that my health increased. My happiness got more and more. My freedom for life and adventure grew. I got more money. Most importantly, I got rid of all of that stress. Still done again. There you go. So that was about 30 seconds as well. So it's not very many words at the moment as you can tell. But we're getting there. Okay. Next of all, we need to do to segue, make them feel there's a benefit to read ONE. While I've just mentioned the top five benefits that are for me. Let me break them down and dive into them to tell you exactly what you can hopefully achieve two, okay, and again, as you can see, that was like ten seconds. Alright, so there's our segue. Let us see how many words were out now Tools, word count. Alright. We've done about one hundred and fifty, a hundred and seventy words. Okay. What we need to do now is we need to take one of these health. We're just going to put that in here. We're just gonna keep that as our main heading for this section here. Actually we're not gonna use that when what we're gonna do is we're just going to skip that out of here because it's a list posts and we're going to put it into the point posts. Okay. I'm gonna start the first on my list of the top five benefits of quitting the nine to five, reclaiming my life. There's just wound, so there's an idea of one. And as you can see, it's not perfect, but it is a great piece of content already down. So next off, we're gonna do is we're going to choose our happiness. We're just going to put happiness in there, underneath here. We're just gonna start for happiness. So there's the next one. The next one, Let's have a look at words, no word count. So we're up to 768. Okay, let's go to the next one. So what are we appear? Happiness, freedom. Let's put in freedom. Imagine being able to wake up in the morning time. Let's check what we have here. Word count, or I wouldn't want a four and now we need to top it off with a conclusion that would come down to here. Conclusion, wrap it all up. There are my top five benefits for quitting the nine to five. Now, while some of them will fit with you, others will be not relevant to you. The most important thing that you need to do before quitting the nine to five is take a look at what actually you are doing unfeeling in your life. If you are reading this post, you already know that potentially you don't want to be in the situation that you're actually in at the moment. My recommendation for this is taken note of everything that you feel about your current situation. Actually start to make a plan of attack for quitting your job. If you want to pick up our free quit your job checklist that ensures that you have set everything in place correctly. Then you can pick that up right here by clicking this button. Thank you so much for reading my post today. I'd love to hear what do you think in the comments below? I look forward to helping you achieve your goal of quitting the nine to five. Talk soon, Kiran. Okay, So let's check our word count. Okay, So we have 1100 words, okay? Now that 1100 words will not great is a great start. Okay, So it's a great start in terms of a good structure for my post. And that took me less than 20 minutes to create. Took me less than 20 minutes to create the first draft of the post. And that's because I hadn't even really thought about the things that I was going to say at all. And potentially if I had, I've actually put some bullet points in there that would have helped me. I would've been able to do it much easier. But the reason that I did it like that is to give you an idea of how quickly when you start off, you can actually do it as well. So there you go. Super, super simple to do. What I would recommend is to go back over all of the content that's here. Make sure you edit it. Makes sure that you make it look well. Then obviously you're gonna be adding all of your images and things like that as well. There is a whole section, there's a whole video on the optimization of this type of content. So I really want you to try out Google Docs for creating your content because it's super, super easy and super fun to do as well. And the better you get at it, the easier these things will actually come for you. 27. Hemingway app: Now I notice it's gonna sound odd to you, but when we write for the Internet, we're not really writing out a massively advanced level. We don't want to be writing out a level that is, you know, that people find difficult to understand. It doesn't come across a smart, it doesn't come across as intelligent. It comes across as something that people can't actually consume easily. When they contact you to consume your content easily, they get confused and they leave. That's not what we want to do with a blog. And, you know, a lot of people might think, well, I've got to be really good at writing, to actually write blogs. You don't like, you really don't, as you can see from my speaking post into existence? Or do you need to really be able to do is talk about your topic. Now, what you want to be doing with that as well as so, remember I said like when you talk to your content into existence, where you write your content into existence, you want to be editing it. But how do you know whether you're editing is good enough and how do you know that when you're actually writing your content, that is going to be actually easy for people to consume. Well, a good rule of thumb is this. You want to be actually keeping your content at around a grade eight to nine level. So great. Eight to nine, that's how, that's the kind of level of the content readership that you want to actually be creating when you're putting it online. Now, as you can see here, I've got I've got a website open in front of me and it's called Hemingway App.com. And what Hemingway does basically it takes your content and it tells you what grade level your content is at. And it also tells you what are good and what are bad things and potentially what you might like to change. So as you can see, it's all color-coded. Now when you open up Hemingway up, you're just going to get this piece of content in here that explains exactly what it is. So Hemingway App makes your writing bold and clear. The app highlights lengthy complex sentences and common errors. If you see a yellow sentence, shorten it or split it. If you see a red highlight your sentences so dense and complicated that your readers will get lost trying to follow with meandering, splitting logic. Try editing this sentence to remove the red. As you can see, like, even when I was reading that, it was kind of like a Marianne during and was splitting. They've done this very clever. So what we need to basically do is we just need to be able to move these things about and to actually shorten our sentences and make them more crisp. And when we're actually doing it, then basically Hemingway are going to give us a tick, which is basically when, when it's, when it goes clear or blank, you'll see the data well-written sentence. Or when they said yellow, It's that when it's in red, it's old man during and put together where as you can see on the sides you've got blue, green, pink, or purple, whichever, yellow and red. And you can have a look at those here. So let's have a look and let's try to actually get this into a proper sentence. So let's start with the yellow first. The sentence is hard to read, so I'm kind of going. Sentences hard to read. The app highlights lengthy, complex sentences on common errors. So what you could do is just basically make a, make a comma after that. As you can see, that's fixed now, very, very simple. If you see a yellow sentence, shorten it or split, how about the next one? If you see a red highlight, your sentence is so dense and complicated that your readers will get lowest try. All right? If you see a red sentence, your sentences so dense, okay? You can put a full stop. This means that it complicated for your readers to read. There we go. So this means that it is complicated for difficult. We could say difficult. It is difficult for your readers to read. And potentially they might get lost trying to find the following, follow its meandering splitting logic. Try editing this sentence to remove the red. So we did that. Okay, so we're doing pretty good on this. Then it says phrase has a simpler alternative. What you could do is it gives you an idea. Use. Alright, so now that's going in there as well. The next part, adverbs meeting the goal of four or fewer. So adverbs, the weakening phrase are shown in blue, could even have a look at this, so it removed that and got rid of the blue. Okay. What we could do here, we couldn't. Okay, so that's pretty cool as well. Then it's saying use passive voice, adverbs and weakening phrases. In blue, phrases in green have. Phrases in green. Show passive voice. Do you see I just deleted little bits out and there we go. That was as simple as it was. Now what I wanna do is I want to show you That's how easy it is to actually do this. But I want to show you this is what I had written. So this is unedited from the speaking my content into existence. So as you can see, the first part was pretty easy. You've been thinking about quitting the nine to five, but unsure of whether you it is the right move for you. And then when you could go, I quit the nine to five many years ago and I've never looked back during the short article, I'm going to cover the top five benefits that you will have in your life and creating the nine to five. Okay, Let me delete that editor. Then we have, this one says, sentences are hard to read. Okay? The top five benefits that I have found in my life personally, I could put in. As you can see, I just broke it down very easily, got rid of all the red, made it much easier to to read. I got rid of all that stress. Okay, so as you can see, very easy to consume, very easy to read now, what you can achieve two, okay, and so then we've got to have our header in there. So as you can see, very easy to actually go through. So you've been thinking about quitting the nine to five but are unsure of whether it's the right move for you. I quit the 95 many years ago and I've never looked back during this short article, I'm gonna cover the top five benefits that you will have in your life when you quit the nine to five. And then I put in this would be a title. Topic benefits One, Health increase to my happening just got more and more. Three, my freedom for life and adventure grew. I got more money and I got rid of all that stress. I've mentioned the top five benefits that relate to me. Let me break them down and dive into them to tell you exactly what you can achieve two, and then I've got health in here. I can go on break this down as well, but you get the idea here. Hemingway App is absolutely awesome. And if you haven't got it already, make sure you also download Grammarly, okay? So you just want to download Grammarly, grammarly.com. Download this. You're going to install it like here onto your website. Okay? Super important that you do that it's going to pick up on spelling mistakes, grammatical errors as well for you. It will highlight them and you'll be able to actually make allowances to that. Okay, So that is how you use Hemingway App. I recommend putting your content in here, making your content extremely easy to read, okay? Because when you do, your content is just gonna be, it's gonna be consumed easier. You're gonna get more readers returning to your content. In turn, your blog is going to continue to grow and grow. 28. Finding Images On Pexels and Pixabay and TinyPNG: One of the issues that you'll come across, especially as you are a new blogger, is finding images that you can actually use on your own blog. Because, you know, you hear things like the, you hear people getting in trouble for using images from other blogs are finding images online and not being able to use them on the blog. And while these situations are very few and far between, sometimes they do happen. In order to get around this, there are particular websites that actually have millions or thousands upon thousands of free photos that you can actually use. There are a couple that I'm gonna show you in this video. The first one being this, which is Pexels.com, and the second one being pixabay.com. So all you basically need to do here is you can check out the trending section or you can look at new, which is from here. Gonna load up for us. You're gonna have a scroll down and see what is. If there's anything that you like, you can go to the Discover tab, look around, etc, popular collections. But for me, everything starts with here. So as you can see, there are trending topics there. But like if I was writing a blog about a diet, potentially what I'm gonna do is I'm just going to put my keyword in here. And it's exactly the same on Pixabay. You're just going to put your keyword in here. Alright? Let us say that this, I like that it's nice colors. Okay? Let's say that this was the image that I wanted to actually download. All I do is I kinda look here, it's free to use info. You've got all the info there. You don't have to do anything free to use, no attribution required. Okay, So that's pretty cool. You didn't have to say who actually it is from. And then basically all you do is you download. Now it's gonna give you sizes that you can actually download. And for me, I recommend this medium-size. You don't want it to be too big for your website because the more, the bigger the image is, the more size it is, which means that it takes your website to load longer when the image is bigger. If I'm happy with it, I'm just going to click Download. It's gonna download for me. I hope. Let me have a look in downloads here. Not there. Downloads. Yes, it's downloaded for me, which is absolutely brilliant. Now, that's the first step. So you can do this. You can find lots and lots of images utilizing Pexels, okay, And the exact same if I put it in diet in here, you're gonna be able to find images, okay? All the pictures are free to use, etc. So let's say, Oh, that looks lovely. Let's say that you wanted to use this, as you can see here, no attribution required. You're just going to click Free Download. You're going to choose your size again. So I used a 1280 and we're just going to click Download. Then obviously just a capture in here because you are a free user. And click Download. And excellent, Excellent, Right? So it's downloaded. And that's really, really simple. Now, when you look at the optimization manifesto video, it's going to show you how to actually utilize your keywords in your images. And that's a really important thing as well. But before you even do anything like that, when you get your images downloaded from, let's say Pexels or Pixabay. What you want to do is you want to come to a website called tiny PNG.com. What this is actually going to do is this is going to decrease the actual overall file size of your image. So that means that your website is gonna load faster. So all we do is we do this log. We find our image. Let's say it's this pink one here. What it's done. So originally it being a 128.9 KB, It's half this to 64 KB. So all we do is we download that. Let's go and look at the difference of these. So here's the first one. Here is the second one. Let's have a look between the two of them. This is the second one. There's absolutely no difference in them. I'm clicking between the two of them now and there's no difference at all. The only difference is that it is half the size. So that means that it's going to load much quicker for you on your website. So that is the first thing you need to do. You need to be getting Pexels, Pixabay, and they're gonna be able to find your great images and then you're gonna compress them using tiny PNG. Now, let's take it another step. Okay, in the next video, I'm gonna show you how to find images utilizing Google. 29. Creating Your Winning Posts From Start To Finish: Um, so by this stage, you potentially have your blog, your first blog posts created. I hope you have your first blog posts created. What the textual element of as anyway, you've got your keywords, you've done that. You've done all the stuff off today's point. And then this point is about using all of your keyword, understanding all of the optimization manifesto, your piece of content that you just spoke or wrote into existence. And we're gonna put it onto your website. Now, I'm going to put it onto your website. We're going to optimize it using the information from the manifesto. I'm gonna show you step-by-step how to do this. And also we're gonna be putting images in there as well. I'm making the article look super cool. You also have access to the article on my blog that you can go and see and then actually go, Oh, yeah, I like when he did there are yeah, maybe I could use dot on my website, etc. Alright, with that and look at, again, this is something that you're gonna have to go through again and again and again and again. But this is really the application of search engine optimization, on-page search engine optimization. And I get this right. This is a super, super good skill that you need to have taken telling, Let's get through it. I didn't go over it again. Keep it easy. In this video, I'm gonna show you how to completely optimize a blog post for your blog. And here's the thing. This way that I'm going to optimize. Once you know how to do this, you will know how to optimize every single blog post that you have or every single page that you have, every single website that you have. Just follow along, understand the different areas that I'm actually optimizing. And you will see exactly what it is because the thing is, it's pretty much the same all the times that you do it. You just have to make sure that you hit a certain number of things when you're actually optimizing it to ensure that you've done the right amount to help it rank better in search engines. So the first thing that we're gonna do is we've got our article like this. Okay, so I recommend setting up your article like this. To do this, to start anyway, all right. We're just going to come into posts and click Add New. What you'll notice first is okay, so here's just a normal blog post. If we look here than the side, this is related to the key theme, okay, So this is related to how your blog posts actually looks. And I'm going to show you how to set it up. So it looks actually really cool. And that's why I said in the spooky video is that most of it's actually done in the blog posts. And that's because most of it actually is done in the blog post. How you actually make your blogposts look is done actually in here in the blog post. And it takes a second to do what, probably two or three seconds, but I'll show you exactly what it is. And this thing here, also, this here is Rank Math, okay? And as you can see, you got a little red x's. All these red x's. Now our role is to turn most of them the green. As you can see, it's based on a score of three out of a 100. We want to get ours over AC, over AT is great. That's where this turns from red to green. And that's what we're actually aiming for. Okay? Now, the great thing about Rank Math is it basically tells you if you haven't fulfilled any of the things that you need to fulfill, like US focus keyword in your URL. So that would be potentially utilizing your keyword in your URL. And what you do is it enter your keyword in here that you're actually trying to rank for. And then it will start to optimize and rank your blog posts based on all of the criteria in here that you're actually fulfilling. So with that said, all I'm gonna do is I'm just going to copy everything. Okay. Well, I'm gonna copy it from here. I'm just going to copy it. I'm just going to paste it in here. Alright? So I always paste as plain text, okay, So make sure that you paste it as plain text. Now there are gonna be lots of things that we need to change in here obviously. Okay, so first off, we want to just copy our title and paste it into there. All right, then what I'm gonna do is because all of that is not needed. Then we've got here I've got to delete that out there as well. So let me guess you started at a new blog or you're thinking about it. Do you know what we need to do? We need to put our focus keyword in here, how to create a blog post. As you can see immediately, we've got this up to 52 and we've got her a UV using a focus keyword in the SEO title and focus keyword and the SEO title is this here, which I'll show you in a moment. How do we actually optimize it? And you're also seeing focus keyword fend in the content, which is great. And we've got 981 words long. Good job. Okay, so I tried to keep my content over 1 thousand words. So we will get two over 1 thousand words in a couple of moments because I'll be editing and adding certain elements in here as well. Let's read through it. Let me guess you've started a new blog posts or thinking about it. What I do know is this, you are stuck wanting to create a blog post and not only rocks, but also answers your visitors questions and makes them come back for more. What I'd like to do here within this point here is I like to create an image. So what I'll do is I'll go to Canada. I'm going to create a design in Canva. This is a basically a Facebook post image. Okay, so all you do is you go type in here. Facebook post. The reason that I like Facebook post is because it actually optimizes for mobile screens as well what we want to be trying to do and is leaving our text element really pretty much in the center here so that it optimizes on mobile, on the name of our posts gets, gets actually seen on mobile and doesn't cut the text out. What we need to do is we need to do, we can search in here for blog post. Actually got two elements here. And search blog post. Potentially we can just drag that into there. So that's our first part of the image. Okay, Thanks of all what we want to do is we want to add a box in here. So I'm going to drag this out of here. A drag this box over to here. Alright, I'm gonna change that in a bit anyway. But let's put it to there and then I'm going to Central it. Now what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna change this to white. I'm going to come up to here to transparency. And I'm just going to make it about something like that. Okay? Next I'm going to come to text and I'm just going to click Create heading. All right, to create a blog post that, alright, so how to create a blog post that people love? Alright? What I'm going to do is I'm just going to put it into here. And I know it looks terrible at the moment. But what we're gonna do is you're just going to come to spacing here. We're going to make the letter spacing less as you can see here, by scrolling it up, I can go like that and make it huge. Or I could go come down here. Then what I can do is I can just drag this into here. Now, what I want to do is I'm going to decrease the line spacing as well. Alright, how to create a blog post that people love? Potentially, I'm going to make it a little bit smaller. Then what I can do is I could just change my color of my text if I wanted. I could go to blue, green, and go to that color there. I quite like that color. I'm not a graphic designer, by the way, guys. I just, I just do what's easy and what I like. Okay. We can change the consistency of it here. We could add a shadow to it. And then we could kind of play around with the shadow a little bit quite like that. There. There we go. I just put in love in here I found a free element that I could actually use and I put a, put a little love heart in there. How to create a blog post that people love. And then next to all I'm doing, I'm just going to download this. Download. Download for me now. I'm just going to click Save As. I'm just going to put it onto my desktop. How to create a blog post that people love. I'm just going to present. Now all I'm gonna do is gonna go back into my blog, are into my post in here. And I'm going to click Image Upload. Just going to make sure that I centralize that. Great. So now I've got an image, okay, now, but what I want to do here is I'm just going to copy that. I'm just going to click onto the image. I'm going to come to this button here. And when I click on this image, what it does is it opens up what is called the alternative text of the image. And all I'm gonna do is paste that text into there. So that alternative text basically is the description of the image. Now I can change the size of that image if I want to. I can have it at that size. I can have it at 75%. I can advertise a 100%. I'm just going to keep it at that size there as it fits nicely. Okay, make sure that it's centralized and I'm just going to click Save. I'm making sure that I'm always saving my content along the way as well. While you're in luck because this is what we're gonna do. Then I'm going to delete this out, this out of here. Well, how do I do this? It's as simple as this. So take note, what I'm going to want to do in here is I'm going to let me get that out of a paragraph. What I want to do when I'm actually in here. So if you've got key points like this in a list format, you're just going to highlight them like this and you can click this button here. Then you're just going to click list. And what that's gonna do. And then you can change it to 1234567. And what that's gonna do is that's going to add what is called structured content into your article. And it's really good. It can help you rank at the very top of the search engines in what is called the featured snippet. That's a cool thing at the top of the search engines that takes. The most demand space at the top. So utilizing structured data in your blog posts will help you actually do that. Then we got the Segway in here, then we got the subheadings. So we would supply a good answer related to your overall main question. Now this is a h2, okay, so we want to do what is called the H2 in here. What we're gonna do is supplier good related or a good answer related to your overall main question, we go more in-depth in a data, etc. So we got to make sure that this and this isn't actually going to be the headings. So we're gonna turn that into what does know, a paragraph. We've got to put our heading in here. Why blogging success are correctly is so important. And we're going to put that as a h2. Okay? We're going to go blogging is an amazing way to normally drive a great amount of traffic to your website, but also build a long-term solid relationship which are readers. But don't take our word for it. Then we can put in something like this. Put a list in here. 77% of Internet users actually read blogs. That they've been rated as the fifth most trustworthy source for gathering online information. Pretty awesome stats when you think of it. Then we've got more. We've got padding points in here. The first thing we want to make sure we get the title correct. We've got our subtitle. We want to make sure that this is H2. We're adding this as a title, etc. Just wanted to make, I like to have I've got Grammarly on my computer so it can be two seconds. Grammarly ink, okay, so what you can do is you can download Grammarly freewriting assistant. And what it will do is it will just download it for free attitude your Chrome browser. And what it will actually do is it will come up with all of these spelling mistakes for you. So it's a really good thing to have on your desktop. Okay. There we go. I'm going to do is go into a topic, most delete words, etc. Here is what a good title of people wouldn't be enticed to click on the article. I'm going to put this in. I think this was in a list format before as well. Okay, great. It's actually really succinctly shows the person, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Okay, great. And then what I had in here, if we go back to here, I had eye-tracking research. Okay, so what I basically did was I found bit of research that was associated with part of my article. Okay, so eye-tracking research says that people can scan articles from right to left. So packing your main keyword in this is this is the part where we add external information to our blog post. This is a simple as doing this depended on board. It is that you're actually searching for, you're going to come to Google. Just going to go eye tracking, research for, for websites. What you basically do is you just got to look and see which of the website pieces of content stand out for you. And normally it's the first or second result. All you're going to do is I could even use that. All I do is copy that URL and I'll come back to my blog post. Then. I could just put it in here by highlighting the blog post PDR to pizza texts, clicking on this button and then pasting the link in. And then I'd set it to open in a new tab. And I would click Submit. Now, because this is an external website, we need to have an external website pointing off our website, we need to set our first external link as this here so you don't set it to no follow any extra external links that we put onto our page we will set as no follow. But for the first one, the first external link, we set it as just normal that the Google search engine can actually follow it. Okay, I woke that actually does is that increases the authority of your blog posts. Now if you want to delete that link editor there, all you gotta do is highlighted it again and click this one. Okay, and now it's deleted. So what we're gonna do is we're actually going to put this link in there. You see I made a note of that. Again, just like before, Open in a new tab and click this button and then the link is inserted in here. Now what you're going to notice is over here this jumped up to 70. Because if we come in here, while you'll notice is at least one external link would do follow found in your content. You see this basically tells us this is a do follow, not a nofollow. This tells us that we're doing good. Do you see how quickly we jumped up to 70 from just doing what we've been doing. Next thing that basically we go on to is you will, of course, if images associated with this heading to. So what I'd like to do is let's say we're looking for an image. I like to have images quite a bit this way through. So we'll have an image here. Whenever an image here we'll have an image here, we'll have an image here, we have an image here. We'd have an image here when I have an image here. So we'll have quite a few images actually in our content. The reason that we have images in our content is because it just, it opens up the content, it makes the content easier to consume. Then we could also have videos in here as well. So we could actually search on YouTube and embed videos into our content as well. What I'm gonna do first off is I'm going to show you how to find an image. And then we looked at also embedding a video as well. So when we're thinking of it in this area here, we're talking about eye-tracking research. I've already done a search for eye-tracking research for websites. What we can do now is we're going to come to images. You've got all of these images in here would information about eye-tracking on websites. What I can do is I can actually use these. Alright, so I can use these images myself in my blog. Now, there is normally no issues with using the images off of Google. That's the thing. There's normally no issues at all. If somebody comes to you and says, Hey, you use in my image and you say, Oh, I apologize. You remove the image or you can add a reference back to them. You can add source like this. Let's say we're using this usability eye-tracking usability.gov, while we'd say is Save Image As eye tracking, I like to just leave it like this. So I'm going to show you here now. Alright, so tracking for creating good blog posts. I'd like to leave it as I like to have my keywords in there just interspersed singly with thing, with the relevance of the image itself. So eye-tracking for creating good blog posts. I'm just going to add this now into my blog post here. I'm going to upload it by image. Click Upload. We're going to go to the desktop because it could save there. And there we have we can Central that. Then that looks pretty good in here. What we can do is we can also put source. We could put in usability.gov. Okay, So if you want to use ability.gov, so there we go, That's what you can do if you don't want to use the images without giving a source back to them. Okay. Next off it was we want to have up to eight more subheadings. Now I'm not gonna put in the eight more subheadings. But what I am going to do is I'm gonna put a video into here. What I'm gonna do is I'm going to come to Google or YouTube, excuse me. I'm going to search how to create a good title for blog posts. Had to write catchy titles for your blog posts. Okay, So 6 thousand views, how to run a blog posts from start to finish, potentially, that's good. How to run a blog posts fast? No, I want to choose this one because this is catchy titles for blog posts. So I want to make sure that it's really, really relevant to what I'm actually doing that section in my content, I'm going to click on it. I'm gonna share it. Okay? All I'm gonna do, the great thing about WordPress is all you need is this URL. So I'm gonna click Copy. Let me come back to my website and I'm gonna come up here. Why Blogging is so important. On, inside of the writing of the title section, I'm going to add it in here because this is about writing titles. So I'm gonna click YouTube. Got to paste that into here. I'm clicking embed. Lovely. And then I'm going to center align it. There we go. And you don't need to leave any sources in there. Embedding is completely fine. All right. There we got an images and videos, we get some headings, we got bullet points in here and we've got a conclusion. But what we also wanted to do. And so if we look here, couldn't find any internal links. So an internal link basically is a link back to another page within your site and they're super, super important. So let me guess. What we want to basically do with this is we want to link to an important piece of content on your blog that is related to that blog post. What that does is that helps the search engines traveled through your blog. But not only that, it gives the person reading your blog post or reason to go to another post on your site, which keeps them longer on your site and provides them with more great information. So you'll want to make it completely relevant to your blog posts that you're actually writing. You could say something like that. Why is blog posts so important? You can build a solid relationship with your readers and you can find out how to do this here. How to do it is here, I'm just going to click this button in here. And we're gonna put in the link to our article. And again, we're just going to click Open in a new top. And we don't need to put set to no follow. Well, we haven't actually just opened in that top. Okay, and we're gonna click Submit. You will be putting your keyword or you would be putting your link to wherever the blog post wasn't here. As you can see, no matter is now no problems. Okay, So as you can see, it's gone up to 77. Alright, so that's pretty cool, isn't it? The next thing that I want to do is like, if you imagine if we added a couple more things in here, that will be absolutely brilliant. But what I want to focus on is this section in here, okay, So this is the editing of the snippet. Okay? So what I wanna do is I want to make sure that my title, I'm just going to take that out of here. I'm just going to put in how to create a blog post that people love. And then I'm just going to put however many steps it is seven steps. Now as you can see, I want to keep this under 60 characters. So that's all good. I had to create a blog post that we could even say 77 easy steps. Okay, That's really cool in here. So that's our title it as 57 characters. It's all in the green, which looks really good. The next thing we want to do is we want to make sure that our URL is not above 70 characters. So all we're gonna do is how to create a blog post. I'm going to put it like that. Alright, so nice, simple. We want to keep up our URLs as short as possible, trying to include the main keyword in there that we're trying to rank for as well. Next of all, we've got the description should have told you this is the, this is the title that's going to appear on the likes of Google and Bing. This is what people are gonna see before they click on your content. So they'll see it, hopefully it's written extremely well, and then they click on your content. Next thing we have the description. If you are unsure of the first steps, as you can see here, if you're unsure of the first steps when it comes to creating a successful blog posts are blocked. Blood and business checkout. Our how to create a blog post that people dot, dot, dot. I like to use the dot, dot, dots there because it kind of like encourages a person to click and find out more. So it leaves a person wanting more. So as you can see, I've got my keyword in there, I've got my keyword in there. I got my keyword in there. Very, very important. Okay, So it will become a skill for you. It will become a skill that you're going to need to practice with to actually be able to create pieces of content very quickly that include your keyword. But the more you do it, the easier it's actually going to get. And by the time you've finished like two or three weeks of writing content, you're going to have no problem with doing it at all. Once we're there, going to click off the X and as you can see, we're in green already. We're in green. Now, focus. Keyword doesn't appear at the beginning of your content. So we could put our keyword in at the top here. Let's do it. Let me guess you started a new blog or thinking about it, I want to do now is you're wanting to create a blog post that not only rocks. Alright, I'm gonna change this. So I'm gonna change this to our keyword. You are stuck wanting to know how to create a blog post. As you can see there. I just changed it. It's gone up to 85. All right, that's pretty cool. Now, I wouldn't worry about this keyword density thing at the moment. We don't really need to title readability is good. We've included power word, which would be easy. We've included a number, content readability, all that good guys. So all that is really, really, really good. The only thing that's missing here is I would prefer to have it over a thousand words. But when you're creating your content, make sure that you're actually doing that. Now, what we need to do, another thing is we are going to come into here and we're going to come to post. Now, when we're down here, we're going to be creating a category. Okay, so we're gonna be putting it into one of the categories that we've created. I like to have a tips category, okay? Tips is just easy. It has a lot of areas that you can actually feel. Okay, So we're talking about a tip for creating a blog post that's going to obviously be in here. If you're talking about a tip for losing weight, it's gonna be in here. If you're talking about tips for creating a Minecraft Server is going to be in here. We're going to put in tips. Next, we're gonna come to this thing here. You don't need to bother with tags at all. You're going to come to featured image. You're going to click set featured image. You're going to choose how to create this one. I'm going to put that out there. And you're just going to put how to create, how to create a blog post that people loved click set featured image. Now what you're going to notice is you see that that's perfectly optimized for mobile. You'll see. So people can easily read that a mobile phone and it has the potential for it to show up in the Google search results as well. Once we're happy with that, what we're going to do is we're going to click Save. Then we're going to scroll down to the end here. What we're going to do down here is we're going to click content Heather. And we're just going to click featured image hidden. Gonna click Save Draft. We're going to make sure that it's hidden in here. And then we're going to scroll down here. I'm going to click Insert Table of Contents, going to click add heading one's heading 2s and a heading 3s if necessary. Okay. You're gonna reason that you didn't start heading 3s is if there were subheadings underneath these headings. So the title must jump out and grab the main. So let's say we wanted to add in a sub-heading in here. Make sure you front load your title. What we're doing is we're doing topmost jump out and grab them. But we're also doing a sub bar area of that. And that is basically about front-loading your keyword. We make that as a keyword. You must insert your main keyword, not the start of your start of your blog post. And then we go on, etc, etc, etc. Potentially showing an image of why you're doing that as well. So you've got your main title of the section, which is your H2, then you've got your H3, which is just subtitled this section. Okay. And you would do that with all of them, with all of the subheadings. So you'd have your intro, you'd go into certain breakdowns of the intro. You go into your paragraph, certain breakdowns in a paragraph. Once we're happy with it, we're just going to click a preview of it. Preview in a new tab. As you can see, how to create a blog post at visitors love, it's taken our big piece of content here and stuck it as the main section. That is the featured image section. And then we've got our posts in here. Here. You can see we've got our table of contents in here as well, which we can hide. Then we'd have all the images in these places as well. But we've got our videos in here. We've got our pieces of content with our sources in here. We've got up to five more. There we go. Alright. Then you've got your sections down here where you can add comments and stuff like that as well. You can see you've got your link out. And do we have our link in, our internal link in there? There we go. That's how you create a blog post. Super, super simple. It took me less than 30 minutes to actually get that blog post optimized. And that's I'm even talking to you doing that like that normally would take me 15 minutes and that's what it will take you as well. So you'd be able to write a piece of content or created showing you the way that I've shown you how to do it by talking it. Then you'll be able to upload it and optimize it and create images, find images, find videos, interlink, do all of the things that are actually needed to actually do. Weighting your blog post a hope you enjoyed that. Please watch it multiple times. Keep this video on standby to go through all of the time. 30. This is when you're blogging journey becomes something that you can be really, really, really proud of. You can be proud of creating the content. You can be proud of educating people on great things. But when you actually are able to recommend great things to your people and you make money from this. That's when it all just becomes really good. So in this video, what we're gonna do is we're gonna look at how you can monetize your blog or website with a number of different things. So there are multiple ways that you can monetize your websites and your blogs. And they include affiliate marketing, e-commerce, merchandise, advertising, information products, and lead generation. Now we're gonna go through each one of these. I'm going to give you an overview how you can utilize them. So the first one we're gonna look at is affiliate marketing. In my opinion, every blogger should do this. Every person who has a blog, every person who has an audience should be doing this. And the great thing about affiliate marketing, especially for blogs, is there's always a product to promote. If you are in the most random of niches or niches, you can always find a product to promote. You just have to go and look for it. Okay, The great thing about affiliate marketing is you can start it right away. You can start immediately from when you actually begin your blog. And how it works is you sign up to promote a product. You then write about or create a video about a product, reviewing it and saying it's absolutely awesome, whatever it actually is, or you compare it against another product. A customer finds that information via searching on Google, comes to your blog, reads it, clicks on the link that you have associated with that product. If they buy the products when they go to the customers are when they go to the product owners site, then you make a commission. So it's really, really simple and that's why so many bloggers use it to actually monetize their blogging journey. The next one we have is e-commerce, and this is all about selling physical products. And again, there's always something to sell, you just have to find it. But e-commerce works when you already have an audience to sell to. This is what I like. Once you've built up an audience on your blog, then you can utilize e-commerce and actually sell products, physical products to your visitors, to your audience. So a customer comes to your blog, they liked the product you're promoting. Then they basically ordered a product from you. Now here's the cool thing. This is where we use e-commerce with a twist. We use e-commerce, drop shipping. So that's something that you should look into potentially, I'll leave a recommendation of a good e-commerce drop shipping course that you can actually look at. But what they basically do is there are huge, how would I call them huge, huge e-commerce suppliers. All over the world. The biggest ones are in China that actually supply millions upon millions of physical products. And what they'll do is you find a physical product on one of these giant marketplaces. You put it on your website. And then if a person purchase it from your website, you can then order it off one of these marketplaces. And the marketplace will actually ship that product from their marketplace to your customer. Then you just make the profit on the potential profits sale that you have compared to what the product costs. So e-commerce drop shipping is massive, absolutely massive. The next thing that you can look at is merchandise selling T-shirts, caps copes, you get the idea. Again. If you have a hungry market, you can do this. I believe, try everything at least once or twice or three times. And if it doesn't work for you, then stop it. Okay. But don't never say never, always give something a try. But again, you need an audience for this. And here's an example of a product that I sell, one of my blogs actually on Facebook pages, and it is associated with the James Webb Telescope. So I have blogs about space and time. And I sell products like this. So as you can see here, this is a James Webb Telescope and a t-shirt that I created. Now I don't even create that t-shirt. I just found the design that I'm able to utilize and then I put it on to accompany called T spring on T spring will do all of that. The creation of the t-shirts, the printing of the delivering of it, and I just make a profit on the sale versus the cost from T spring. So another brilliant way to make money with your blog. Another way, a lot of people recommend putting advertising on your blog, the likes of Google ads or Google AdSense. And you know, you can do it. You can't do it insured. It makes money. But I would much prefer to not do this. And the reason being is because I think there are definitely better ways to monetize your blog then these kinds of advertising, I think these adverts kinds of advertising actually take away from your blog. And the way that I like is by creating information products. So as you can see here is one of the products that I created before. This is around how to actually make, create affiliate marketing websites. Okay, so the first thing I started off, I became a blogger, then I became an expert in it because then I was selling affiliate marketing products through it. And then I created an information product around that. How you start these kind of things, how you create affiliate or information products is, first of all, you create a small course or you create a small e-book, then you upgrade that micro commitment to something bigger, maybe a video course, okay, then after that, you maybe do a 30-day challenge. After that you do level one mentorship and after that you do level to mentorship. And each time you go through Witcher information products, you're increasing the prices that you're actually putting on them. It can start as a micro commitment of $7, then it could go up to $47 a small, then it can go up to 1097 as medium, then it can go up to 997 as big, and then it can go up to 3 thousand as bigger dependent on what you're, what information products you're actually creating. I'm finally, you can do lead generation now, this only works if the niche dot urine has a potential for high tickets. When we think about insurance, when we think about cars, when we think about property and real estate, what we're looking for is we're looking to sell leads of people who are actually interested in the type of niche that we're actually in. Even if it was engagement rings, people looking for engagement rings on wanting to find out more about products that you were talking about. What we need to do though is we need to set up relationships with these big niche product owners. We need to set them up with the Mercedes-Benz. We need to set them up with the insurance company. We need to set them up with a diamond brokers. But that only works if you have a great blog. It only works if you've created a brilliant blog for yourself with high authority, an expert witness in your niche. So there you go. You have some amazing ways to monetize your blog affiliate marketing, e-commerce marketing, merchandise, advertising, info products, and lead generation. They are the best ways that you can actually create income with your blog. 31. Competition Training : And now you have gone through super, super advanced section in the last part there. So the first part was easy, middle part was hard. I know it's hard. I know it's takes used to getting used to that, to keep going with it. In this part, what we're actually going to be doing is looking at the search landscape. And what I mean by that. I mean, when you do a search for your keywords, what types of sites are actually appearing there. I'm going to show you what you need to look out for when you're actually looking at those sites. Are they authoritative sites? Are they kind of like sites? Do I have a chance or do you have a chance of passing by them? Okay, so I'm gonna give you the overview in this section here. Pay attention to the overview because I've got a secret in the demo that's going to help you. I had no end. Okay, so pay attention guys. Again, we're looking for we're looking to see can we pass by that website? Okay, so pay attention how phone, and let's get into it. In this video, we're gonna do an overview of how you decipher competition, how competitive your search phrase market is for your competition, okay, so to ensure that it's easy for you to actually compete in there and you're not up against crazy authoritative sites on, it'll be easier for you to actually rank your pieces of content. Okay, So what we're gonna be looking out for, alright, you've got the sheet, you understand the sheet, you know how it works. It's got drop-downs, etc. So in the sheet, you're gonna be able to choose one of the drop-downs. Now it basically goes like this, none. So if no results show that match correctly, what your search phrase is, then that's a good thing you put in none if it's low, potentially forums and posts, but they don't match a 100% correctly. Then medium would be some blogs. So you see some blogs and they have much content in there. And then high would be mostly articles from well-known brands within your space. Now you are going to know the well-known brands within your space where you should do. So, I'm gonna show you some things that you can look out for. Two, if you don't understand it yet, that will help you actually decipher whether it's a well-known brand, a well-liked brand on Google. Then we have finally nuts. When you start seeing wiki sites, Amazon site, Google Sites.gov, sites.edu sites, they're edu, our education sides, goods sites are obviously government sites. When you start seeing them, you know, it's going to be super difficult to actually rank in that search area. So one of the things that when you're not unsure, when you're unsure of the type of site, whether they're authoritative or not. Normally I'd say, look, if you understand your niche market, you're going to know the brands that are actually within your niche. But if you want to know whether a site is authoritative within your niche, one quick way to find out if they are authoritative is by looking at the amount of pages that they actually have on their site. On a quick way to do this is to do a quick search like this. Just put in site colon. You don't have to have a big S there, just put it in as a smallest site colon and then the domain name of it. So this one here, sports seek IDA, you would put in I would put it in sight. Colon sports see Keita or SQL Data.com. And then I press Enter. What it's basically going to tell me is it's going to tell me how many results that website hats. So how many pages that website actually has an obviously the bigger the more authoritative dot page are, the more authority of that website potentially is okay. If it's massive and you're only starting out, well, then you know, it's gonna be very difficult for a brand new blog or website to actually jump up past that high competition. When you do see these big brands in your, in your, in your listings, make sure you take a note of them, okay. But also, you want to basically look out for things like consumer advice. You want to look out for things that are related to the government. You want to look out for things that are related to educational institutes. Because what they basically are especially with this here. So this search term is Minecraft servers, okay, for kids. When you're dealing with kids or you're dealing with family, you're dealing with income, you're dealing with health, you're dealing with any of these types of things. These niches are seen as YM, YL, your money or your life niches. Ym YL refers to a specific type of content or website that is related to anything related to major decisions would in a person's life related to money or related to their life itself. So kids obviously are such an important element to this. Health are such an important element to this as well. Finance is such an important element to this as well. Okay, So next, we have this search term here. It does tell me in it have a Minecraft Server does tell me what type of Minecraft Server. And here I see lots of forums and I see Quora. This means that I have a chance of actually ranking there. Plus it means that we can steal the spots inside of those forums to we could go and make a post in this Reddit group. We could also make a post and forum here in the R in Quora here. And we can potentially jump to the top of the search engines inside of those as well. Along with the article that we're actually promoting them, we can put links inside of these back to that article we're promoting, which is going to increase the authority of that article. When we see these, what we need to be doing is we need to be looking at our search query. We understand our search volume already, and then we're gonna look at our competition. Okay, so are there mostly high quality articles in there are just some blogs or art or some much content or low, do we have forum posts are not matched correctly. We want to be making sure that we choose to correct drop-down from there. Now I'm going to run through this in a demo for you in a few moments, but make sure you go back over it is to understand the processes that we're actually talking about inside of here. 32. Competition Demo: Right, so you know how to look for competition, okay, That's absolutely awesome. It's so important for you to do. And again, you're only going to get better at it. But I got a trick for you in this one, I've got a trick for you and I held it back from actually showing you in the last one. And the reason being is because as much as I like to give people the easy way around and I also liked him to basically learn to look at things because this job, this job that we have here, a search engine optimizing a finding keywords around our blog. That's all about paying attention to what we see in front of us. Okay? These two makes that super, super simple, right? So we're going to use it. I'm gonna show you how to download and an acceptor and look at it. I'm gonna look at the competitive landscape in a demo here as well. Okay, So with that said, let's get into this. Now we're gonna look at the competition, okay, so we're going to find out if there is a lot of competition in the search engines for the keywords and for the search queries that you're actually after. And as you can see, I started to fill out a bit more and I found some ones that are under Cyrus and etcetera, etcetera. All right, so what I'm gonna do first off is I need you to come over to Google and you're just going to type in this thing, Mars bar. And this is called the MozBar extension. What this does is this basically tells you you're going to add it as a Chrome extension. So this basically tells you information about the website that you're actually on. It tells you how authoritative that website actually is. And let me show you right here at the top here, you can see this thing, da, That means domain authority. And that's basically saying that moss, this website has a domain authority of 91 out of a 100. Okay, so that's the overall website. That's another massively, massively high. Now, the next one is PA, which is Page Authority. Basically is the exact page that you've entered. So it isn't the whole website, but it's the page that you've entered. The whole domain is 91, but the page that you've entered is only 67, but still 67 is massive. Okay? What we're looking for in the search engines is domain authority is less than 50, okay, so anything over 50 is seen as an authority within the search engine is anything under 50 is seen as getting to an authority. So the lower obviously the better something about the 0 is obviously brand new. Something about 20 is obviously been on the Internet for awhile and they're starting to build up. And as it goes up to 50, they're starting to build more authority within their niche. Okay, so the lower that we can see, the domain authority and page authority, the better That's obviously going to be because it means that it's going to be easier for us to rank in search engines. What I want you to do is I want you to download the MozBar for free, Okay, so click it. Downloaded. So as you can see, I already have it. You're going to add it to your Chrome. You're going to have it like this from Chrome to make sure that you go and do that. Because what I'm going to show you here now, I'm going to show you how this works with our competition. Alright? So the first thing that we're actually gonna do is we're gonna go and grab our first keyword that we're gonna use. So how much does a digital nomad makes? So this is under a thousand searches. Okay. That's pretty much what I'm kind of figuring out from seeing my search results in Google Trends. We're going to come back here. And I'm just gonna do a search in here, right? I'm, one of the great things about the MozBar is the most bar actually kind of like pops up underneath the listing. And it shows us the domain authority and page authority. So as you can see pages already 39, domain authority 59. So this is a Digital Marketing Institute's of that's pretty much, that's a lot. That's pretty high. It's getting a big. But if we scroll down and we look at this, we see the mom the mom printer or no match mom perimeter. Okay. So this is basically a page authority of nine on a domain authority of 27. That's pretty good. But not only that, we can understand that that potentially is a blog. Okay, So it's a blog. The average digital nomad salary, okay, So how much does it digital nomad make the average salary? Very similar. The nomad mom printer? Yes. So it's just a normal blog as you can see, a blog podcast? No, my blog tools and tips, family travel blog. So, you know, it's not a bad one. He's starting to build stuff on it. Okay. Next one we can see Quora is a forum me kinda Quora question now so you can put your stuff into here. How about this one here? Alright, so we've got a domain that's already a 16. Here's a domain authority of 14. The main authority in 19. So what I can tell it straight away, I'm gonna be able to get my content in there. Initially, what I do is I'm going to write the post. I'm going to put that post up, but I'm also going to answer it in here and I'm going to connect it back up to my posts as well. So what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna come back to here and I'm gonna go from the down. Low forum posts. Actually, let's quickly, is it match content? How much can you earn as a digital nomad? Yeah. All right, So this is match content, okay? So we're just gonna go in here. Some blogs would match content. All right, so that's not bad. Okay, So I kinda thinking to myself, Look, I liked the look of that. I liked that the blogs are low in domain authority. And I like basically that there's Quora in there that I can jump on. And I also liked the fact that to me overall, it looks like a really easy niche to actually get involved in to actually answer question two. So I'm gonna say yes. That's competition for their next volt. What we're going to do is digital nomad, no experience with no experience? It did. I went through search. Obviously, there's a thousand to 5 thousand searches. So what we're gonna do is we're gonna go back into here and we're gonna put it into here. Let's see the kind of websites that are appearing here. Okay, So we got 38. That's not bad. That's the top position. Then we got a 38 again. If we scroll down here, forty two, twenty seven, fifty hundred twenty-five, fifty five. So there are more in here. These are more this is more competitive than what I can actually are then what are there before then in the last search? But there still is an opportunity like when I see this domain authority 27 in here, to me, it says, well, I could probably push it in. What I'm going to look at is these look like let's go into one of these. This looks like it's been around for awhile in the nomad as you can see here, as seen, right? So as seen in here. So that basically tells us that potentially this person here has been around for a while. So that's a good thing, especially seeing is you're seeing a domain authority of 50, but it's not a good thing for us. It's a good thing for them. How about this broken backpacker? These are brands within the space. Okay. Let's have a look. There's quite a lot of stuff in here, Let's say troubled tips. Asia. Let's go click on one of these. We start to look down through it and we can start to get an idea, uh, the kind of content that they have in here. Alright, so let's click on Malaysia. Alright, so it looks to me that potentially potential, to be honest, I didn't like this website at all. Right. I don't like it. I don't think it's very well set up. But both. But it's starting to grow anyway. It is closer to 50, so there's a lot of content on there. Look what we're going to look at in here. So for here we're going to go click on it and we're going to go high mostly articles from well-known brands. All right, let me go and what to study to become a digital nomad. Let's go and have a look at this. All right, So we got 45, obviously big, big one here. So this is a well-known brand. I recognize web work travel. How about Gnomon life one-on-one, as you can see, 25. Alright. So it's very new. And then we got thirty nine, sixty four, seventy eight. And then what to study how to become a digital nomad. How to be an open digital nomad. How to become a digital nomad. How to become a digital nomad. Best degrees for digital nomads. Like I think that we could look at, I think we could gaze into here. What does study to become a digital nomad? I think we can get our content into here. The reason being is because they're not very much matching the content. So there's some better, best degrees, but some that are not. What we're gonna do in here is we're gonna go medium so much blogs are some blogs match content. Next one will have how to become a digital nomad. And that's more like this search. Okay? So if I click off of there, okay, so again 48 at the top, so he's building up. But then look at it in here. Twenty six, twenty five, thirty three. And then Upwork, There's an Upwork in here, 61. I think we can push ourselves into here. Look, there's obviously some that we know this is growing. There's wiki jobs, broken backpack. Okay. The thing is, this is this is a maybe. This is a maybe let's go how to become a digital nomad. This search is going to be more. As you can see, NerdWallet, massive, massive competitor on their 78, domain authority. 64. Then thirty nine, forty three, sixty one. You'll see this nomad life is appearing quite a bit, so they're obviously doing well and they're only at 25. So that means basically that they are optimizing their content extremely well. So I reckon that this guy here, or this girl here or wherever it's actually doing it. It's a girl. They are very good at Search Engine Optimization. There obviously laying out things nicely titled bullets, images, yet. Look at not bad, not bad. What I'm going to say with this, I'm going to say medium, some blogs with match content. Then you get the idea here. So what you're basically doing is you're looking at the domain authority. Actually just domain it's hard to excuse me, to domain authority on that was high. Mostly articles from well-known brands. Domain authority on that was high. That's what you need to be doing. You need to be going through and actually seeing if there's good domain authority within these. But also let's say this like nomad life 101. We get the idea that potentially nomad life is pretty good. But what I want you to do if you are unsure of how big this website actually is and you want to actually see what it is, then I'm just going to grab it. So it's no mud life 101.com. All you're gonna do is this. Okay. So you come to SICE No matter life 101.com. And what this is going to do is this is going to tell you how many pages are actually on this website. It's got a 184 results. Some of them are shops, some of them are services, some of them are links to Instagram, etc, etc. But it's got a 184 pages. You will be building that over time, but you will be able to take positions from these. Okay, so if you see that, that's a good thing. Let's say that I come back to, come back to here. Let's say hi, hi, mostly articles are you can still create that content. But all you're going to basically do is you're going to wait to create that content a bit later, or you're gonna create it and realize that you're not going to rank instantly for it. So what you want to be doing in these ones, I'd be looking more at that. How much does a digital nomad make? And I'd be creating a great piece of content around there. One of the things that you've got to realize when you are creating this piece of piece of content is that even though it says, how much does a digital nomad make and you have under one task and searches, that doesn't mean that only you will only rank for how much does a digital nomad make? You can get a lot of people to your website with keywords that are related to your main search term here. Make sure that you understand that. Go through these, look at the competition, download the Mars bar, and then just start filling in the competition when you're doing it as well. So you go on medium, jump on it. Yes. Highly. Not yet. Medium? Yes. Not yet. These kind of things. So if you get low, if you find those low ones in there, That's when you've kind of got to go to yourself. That's when you're kinda like go and imagine it was a five to ten k searches. That's where you're going. Wow, okay, that's a really great when I got to write this. Now. Go ahead and get stuck into the competitive research there.
