1. Introduction: Hey guys, my name is Dmitry, and this is my second class about how to remove objects from images using Adobe Photoshop. Sometimes there's a need to delete some objects or even people from your photos. There are multiple ways to do that. You'll need an Adobe Photoshop, CS free or newer. And of course photos you want to delete objects from. I will attach photos that I we're using in this class so you can practice and copy the steps. I will show you the three main ways to delete objects from any image. So let's begin. 2. Adding Image: In previous class about phase hopes I didn't explain how to add photos to Adobe Photoshop, so I will do it now. If you're an experienced user, you can skip this topic and start with the next one. If you're new to Photoshop, you might find this useful. Since I'm working in Windows platform, I can only show you how it works on Windows, but I believe that on Mac the process is pretty much the same. I would also like to mention that all the follows I'm using in this class who are downloaded from Pexels.com. You can search for images there and download them for free. First method is pretty simple. You can open picture in Adobe Photoshop by right-clicking the image icon like I'm doing right now. The second method is to run the program and open image by clicking File. Then Open and select your image and press okay. 3. Method 1: Content Aware Fill: Thirst method that I wanted to show you is called Content Aware Fill. It's pretty much the automated feel of selected area. Adobe has artificial intelligence networks pretty well and makes your life much easier. And they want to show you how it works. All the field works well when there are similar colors in the image like in this example. Let's begin. The first thing we need to do is to make a duplicate layer of the background in case we mess up and to compare the effect to the original image. So let's first of all delete the ball. For that. We need to select that bowl, then press edit and fill. Make sure to select content covered in the drop-down list and just press OK or enter. Now, just press Control D to de-select. And that's it. As you can see, it looks like there was never a bowl there in the sky. Now let's try and remove this man from the photo. I will select this man and do the same thing I did with the ball. By the way, you can press Shift backspace to pop up the field window. Now it looks like a black and white photo of an ocean. And for social good result, you didn't even have to spend much time deleting everything manually. There is Adobe's AI for you. 4. Content Aware Fill Second Example: Okay, let's do another example of an Content Aware Fill, which might be useful for photographers. Here we have a picture of buildings and this guy, but they're unneeded wires and we can lessen clear and move them if we want to. So again, let's make a duplicate layer, select all the unwanted objects and remove them from this photo. As you can see, AI even managed to save that trail from an airplane. Now, let's remove those last two wires and check the result. In my opinion, the results looks very cool. 5. Method 2: Clone Stamp Tool: When there are too much details in the photo content of our field isn't the best option or moving objects. And for those cases there is a clone stamp tool. The thirst, let me show you how Content Aware Fill handles this example. As you can see, content of our field isn't the best solution in some cases. Here we will need to use clone stamp tool. Clone stamp tool is also pretty simple, but either requires some practice. So how it works, you take a sample from some parts of the photo by pressing Alt click and then just paint it over the parts you want to remove. In our case, we want to remove this lady. So we sample any part of this brick wall and paint it over the lady. To get a perfect result. In this case, we would need to spend some time on it. I will try to do it first, just so you get the idea. As you can see, the result is far from perfect, but you get the idea where it content of our field doesn't solve the problem. There is a gland stamp tool. It's a manual work, but the result can be very good if you invest that time in it. 6. Method 3: Patch Tool: The last method I want to show you is called Patch Tool. Once again, let's make a duplicate layer hotkeys for that or Control plus j. Patch Tool works as a selection tool. All you need to do is to select an object if you want to remove and move it to the other area of the photo, it works well when background contains similar colors and objects. Grass in this example, is a perfect area for the best tool. Still uses AI, so it softens all the edges automatically so you don't have to worry about it. 7. Patch Tool Second Example: Let's do one more example. We're fat stores should do a good job. Let's try and remove a guy in the yellow jacket. Now there are few details left to be done. First of all, that sand now looks like it was stepped on by someone. We can easily fix it. So it looks a bit more natural. For that last detail. Pashto doesn't do their work, but that's okay because we already learned about Clone Stamp tool that can fix it. Once again, it's not perfect, but if you invest just a bit more time in it, you can make it better than that. So there's the before and after. 8. Project Gallery And Conclusion: Now you know three different ways to remove objects from your photos. I will attach folders I have used in this class. So you can try it yourself step-by-step and also make sure to upload your results to the project gallery. I hope I will be more than happy to see your results. And also don't forget to share this class with your friends. There are so many cool tricks you can do it in Photoshop. Let me know if you liked this one and I will create more classes for you. Bye.
