1. Course Introduction: Hello and welcome.
In this chapter, we are going to cover
the following topics. I are highlighted in brief. We will work through
documentation briefly. Then we will sign up for
a free Oracle Cloud icon. Then with the help of newly
created or academic record, we will sign it to
Oracle Cloud Console with the help of browser. This chapter is divided
into three classes. In class number one, we will walk through briefly the documentation for Oracle
Cloud infrastructure. In class today, we
are going to sign up for a free Oracle Cloud icon, which will be available
for 30 days with three credits in
class number three, with the help of newly created Cloud icon or the tenancy name, we will sign into the Oracle Cloud Console
with the help of browser. Now, the question will arise, why to watch this chapter
and what is the benefit? At the end of the chapter, you will be able to get a
free Oracle Cloud environment or the account in order to learn the
services which are offered by Oracle in OCI, you will know how
you have to refer OCI documentation
pages if you are stuck anywhere
while implementing any solution with the
services offered by AOTA, we will share the link for
the OCI documentation. And also I will explain how you can traverse through
the documentation. Also, you will
learn how to create a free or actual flower
icon for 30 days. And you will be
able to sign into Oracle Cloud Console with
the help of this tutorial. Now, without wasting much time, let's jump into our
classes for this chapter.
2. Ch_01_01 : Getting started with Oracle Cloud: In this class, we are going
to learn following topics. We will go through Oracle Cloud documentation page and
also will definitely work through how to
get started with Oracle Cloud with the
help of documentations. Now, we'll switch
over to the browser and walk through Oracle
Cloud documentation. I am here in the Oracle Cloud infrastructure
documentation by Oracle. And this is the link
that is docs.oracle.com slash slash connect
ESG concepts. On the left side
there is a table of contents or the topics available
in this documentation. Now if we click on
this getting started, there is a welcome to Oracle Cloud
infrastructure heading. And under that there is
short description on. That is OCD is a set of complimentary Cloud services
that enable you to build enterprise wide range
of applications and services in highly available
hosted environment. You can have a look at
the services which are offered by OCHA at
high level over here. In order to know in
detail about any service, just click on this hyperlink provided there's documentation. It will take you
through the page. Read documentation is available for each and every
integer services. If you click on the key concepts and terminology, that is, the concepts and
the terminologies which are being used in OCI, like a bare metal which
regions and availability domains around console
tenancy compartments. Compartment is something
which is exclusively available in LCA security zones. What's your Cloud
network instances? Images, keep it
ship, block volume, Object Storage buckets and Oracle cloud
identify are the OC. We learned in details about
all those services and the key concepts in our Oracle Cloud
Infrastructure course. So if we want to traverse to any particular topic in this, you can just search for that
topic in the left-hand side. Like if I'm looking for any service under
Application Services, then I will go to
Application Services and I will keep on using the
Oracle Cloud Console. And they will know
how we can use the application services. So under Getting Started, there is a section how we
can sign up for a free or I can promise you the code. So we have to go to
the signup.cloud.com and we can create
one that confers. In this class. We will
learn in detail about this. For more details, you can
come over here that is, Swartz flew to yet and
it will check what are the resources every
three accounts. That is, once you have
free credits or odd, if you cross the 30 days
limit with your free account, then it will convert it to always free account with
the free resources. You can check in
detail what resources are available with this
always free account.
3. Ch_01_03 : Sign up for Oracle Cloud account (Free tier): In this class, we are going to cover the following topics. We're going to visit
this hyperlink and create a free
Oracle Cloud record, which is valuable for 30
days with the free credits, we will try to create 13 is
the name of the account name. While we create this free
electron cloud record, I'm switching over to browser and we'll continue from there. Regulatory infrastructure
documentation, which we had seen in class one. Now if you come under Getting Started, under Getting Started, there is this section called
request and managed three, or I could plot promotions
and there you will find sign up for free or
acrylic or promotion. Yeah, Raquel has documented
few steps with the help of which we can
create a tendency or a free Oracle Cloud encode. Also, You can Google sign-up and you will find this Oracle

first fill up the country where we are deciding,
deciding in India. So I'm providing name
as India in the name, implementing first name
as our channel name. And in the last big desk
learning an e-mail, I'm populating e-mail
account or the e-mail ID, then we have to click
on this, I am human. Then it will ask for a
question like ballistic. Each image containing a boat. From selecting the
pictures where there is a boat, there
are three pitchers. Click on Next. Click on Verify it has verified
that we are a human. Then we can click on
this, verify my e-mail. If you come to this
documentation, we have failed
their country name. Now provided the name, we have provided the
valid email address. Then we had clicked on
this I am a human button. Then click Verify E-mail. Know if you look at
the message over here, it is showing e-mail
verification links. And now we'll switch over to our Gmail account and
check for any emails, whether we got any
from what I can yes. There is this email
what we received from Oracle Cloud infrastructure
to verify our email. On receiving this e-mail, you how to click on
this verify e-mail. It will open a form again and it will prompt you to
continue from here. Now, we will close
our existing firm, which had we had open. Because on clicking on Verify button from a female
that opened a new tab. Now am providing the
password over here, plus words matched. Now am providing
the company name. I'm giving you as being a learning clone icon name
it is taking as venom Fs, let me leave it as default. Now, it is asking
for the region. Not all the services
available in OCI are available
in all the regions. Before checking
your home region, just make sure the services, what you're looking
for is available in the region, what
you're selecting. For example, if I'm a developer, I have to make sure whether the function service is
available in US east. If not, you have to
go for us anytime we can have multiple regions
we can subscribe to. Once we create an tendency
or the broader code. But better, you select the appropriate home region
where you configured. If you want to be compliant
with the regional rules, wherein there is
a requirement to have the data stored in
a particular region, then you can select that accordingly as per
the requirement. Yeah, I'm selecting
Ashburn region. And if you scroll down, there is this section called
Terms of use. We have to click on
this Continue button. If you go to documentation, we have entered the password. Provided the company name, we have reentered the password. We created a cloud name. In our case it was binom apps. We had selected a home region. Then we had read the terms
of use and continue. We didn't treat the terms
of use if you want, you can have a look
at Terms of Use. Next, we will
continue from here. So in this form, it is asking
for address information. I will populate the details. I'm deciding in Bangalore, I'm populating as
some dummy addresses. I'm selecting the
status Karnataka zip and providing then he's
asking for number. I will provide the
phone number over here. We can continue. After
populating address information. It will take us to
payment verification. As the message says, you won't be charged unless you elect to abrogate the acorn, we can click on this Add
payment verification method. Currently at the time of
recording this video, we are having option only
to pay via credit card. If you have a credit card, you can offer this method under billing information
in at payment method, it will populate all the
details what you had entered. And if you scroll
down towards the end, it will ask for the card type. Currently there are three
card types are selected. American Express,
Visa and MasterCard, where you can fill
up all the details and click on Finish. Then once you add
the payment method, you have to click
on this agreement and click on start
my free trial. In couple of minutes, you
are free to get account will be created and you will
be notified over email. I'm not doing this as I
already created the icon. So this is only the steps. If you check out
the documentation, we have to enter the address
and the phone number. Then we have to click on
continue what we did. Then we have to click on the Add payment verification method and click on credit card. This is the only method
accepted currently. Then you have to click on
credit card information and then click on Finish. You may see a small temporary charge on your payment method. This is verification, which will be removed
automatically. Your credit card won't be charged unless you
select for update. Even if there is a deduction
on your credit card, it will be rolled back
by Oracle after adding payment method only how
to accept the terms and conditions and
click on Start free trial to
submit your request for creating Oracle Cloud icon. Once you click on that button, your services or provision in your tenancy and you will
be a director or actor, Cloud infrastructure concert,
then you can continue from there and you can work on the
services offered by or CA. Also, you will receive
a welcome e-mail with information
about your account, like the tenancy
and other details. In our next class, we will learn how
we can sign into Oracle cloud
infrastructure console.
4. Ch_01_04 : Signing In to your newly created Oracle Cloud account: In this class, we are going to cover the following topics. We're going to visit this link
that is cloud.oracle.com. Then we are going to provide an engineer or the
Oracle Cloud icon them, which we got when we created our Oracle cloud free account
in our previous class. Then we are going to provide
username and password. Then we're going to sign
into rectal Cloud Console. Now, we'll go to our browser
and continue from there. I am here in the
documentation page by Oracle, Oracle Cloud infrastructure
documentation. In the table of content
on the left-hand side, there is the option for signing into console under
Getting Started. If you click on
this, you will get more details on signing
into the console. Here is the list of
supported browsers, like Google Chrome, Safari, and Firefox are
currently supported. And Firefox is not supported currently in
private browsing mode. So coming to the steps, we
can sign into Oracle Cloud with the help of this thing
that is cloud.oracle.com, we need the Oracle
Cloud name in a class. We had seen in detail how
to create an account. In our case, the cloud
account name was beat them apps like what you see over here when you
create the account, it will be shown over here on the left side, click on nib. Also you will receive an email with the TT&C
or their Cloud icon. Them. Make use of that. Now, I will click
on this hyperlink. One. Clicking on the hyperlink, it will open a page
for signing in. Here you have to provide the cloud account name
and click on Next. And in the sign-in page it is
asking for single sign-on. And in identity provider, it is showing Identity
cloud service. Now, if you take on
the documentation that is sign-in options, when your account is created, the username will be
created in both the sides. One is in identity and
access management service under OCI and also in the
Oracle Identity cloud service. So by default, the
first user is created as an admin for that
particular tenancy. So if you are planning to change a password in Identity
cloud service, then that change worth
reflecting a year. You how to manually change your passwords in what the
services as those are, not seeing those that
seemed on the at the time of creating your

sure you change the passwords separately in both the systems as accessible. Yet, although the
credentials are identical in both the systems, when your account is created, the users are in separate identity management system
and you manage them separately if you
change your password in Oracle Cloud

username and password. So I usually call this identity

Oracle Cloud Console and it will land you in
getting started page. You can see Joe to dashboard
as well from here. And also you can click on the hamburger menu on
the left top corner. And you can look
for the services, what you are trying to learn or trying to implement
the solution with. Like for example, if I'm
a function's derivative, but then I will go to
developer services, then click on functions. You're following those steps. We can sign into our
Oracle Cloud icon.
5. Ch_02_01 : Getting started with Oracle Integration: In this chapter, we are going
to cover following topics. That is, we are going to look at how to provision or create or
alkyl integration instance. We'll look at how to access vertical
integration instance. That is how to navigate
from Oracle Cloud to our Oracle integration
instance will also learn the basics
of administering pass. For instance, that is like starting or stopping
and instance, deleting an instant,
scaling up the instance, scaling down the intense, how to get the instance details, how we can modify the
details, edit the details, all those steps we
will learn in brief, that is the basics of
administering We own go deep into the
administering activities. At the end of this chapter, you will be comfortable in creating Oracle
integration instance. And you will have basic skills in administering the instance. And you will be able to
manage that instance on your own without
wasting much time. Let's begin with our
classes for this chapter.
6. Ch_02_02 : Provisioning Oracle Integration Instance: In this class, we are going
to learn following topics. First, we are going to provision or actual integration instance. We're going to look at the
documentation by Oracle on provisioning or creating
Oracle integration instance. Now let me switch over to
this documentation page. So I'm here in the documentation page for provisioning and administering Oracle
integration and political integration
for since June two. On the left-hand side,
in the table of column, we have to select this, creating an oracle integration instance. Here oracle has documented the
steps we need to sign into our Oracle Cloud
infrastructure console we have already seen in
our previous chapter. Then we have to
go to navigations and the developer services. We need to go for integrations. Then we need to select the
appropriate compartment. Then we have to click on
this Create Instance. And there is a
tabular data provided over here based on the
requirement we need to select. Now, let me switch over to OCI cancer in the Oracle
Cloud infrastructure console. Now we need to click on this left hand corner button
or the hamburger menu. From here we need to
select Developer Services. Under developer services, we need to select
this integration. We need to select
the appropriate compartment from the list of compartments where you want to have this instance created. Now, we need to click on this
Create button over here. First we need to
provide the name I'm giving learning with six. In the addition,
we need to select standard or enterprise
liquid switchover to this documentation page. In the documentation, there
is a row with named addition. We need to click on this
oracle integration additions. So it will open up this page. Here. It will show you what
features are available in Standard and Enterprise
for degradation products. In the standard,
we will be having integration visual builder
standard adaptors. But in the enterprise,
we will be having enterprise adapters process B2B inside file server support is also provided in standard and embedded recipes
and accelerators. Only difference between
standard and addition is we own Get
Enterprise adapters. We need to build our
own custom solution. In that case, we
don't have processes. We cannot build the
workflows between integration and
integration with insights. So accordingly, we
need to select, I'm selecting enterprise over here as we're having
more features. So if you are coming from
fusion medulla On-premise, then use your own license. That is nothing
but bring your own license or you can create a new license or subscribe to a numerical integration
license by selecting this. So here we can
select the number of message box we can increase
or decrease. From. Over here is message back
will help fica messages. For more details,
you can come to this table and we can check the row message box here you will get more insight into
what is a message back. I'm keeping this
as one as of now. Now if you click on the
Show, Advanced Options. Under customer in mind, you can have your
own custom endpoint, but you need to upload
the certificate for this host that you
can place underworld and you can provide
the secret from here. Also, we can associate this with their tax budgeting
or costing purpose. You can also restrict
the network access, again, with the help of the
cider, block IP addresses. You can block the access
to this instance. Once fill all the details, you need to click on
this Create button and clicking on this create. Our instance has
been created that is learning to three-sixths over
here, I'm clicking on this. I'm clicking on
the instance name. It will open up the
details page for you. Here, your file server
is not enabled. You will get an
option to enable. You can click on that so
that the OIC integration will have their dedicated server or the FTP server created. If you have selected
the Enterprise edition for Oracle integration, you will have it option for
Visual Builder enabling. So if it is not illegal
at the time of creating, then you can click on Enable. It is enabled for me. If it is not eligible for you, then you can click on
the Enable button. In my case, this is
publicly accessible. I'm not restricting the access. If you come to the
documentation page here, it is showing how to access vertical integration instance. So there is the details
provided over here. How to access the
integration console. If you don't know how to
do on this details page, there is an option
for San Luis console. You can click on this
service console. And this will open up
the integration console.
7. Ch_02_03 : Modifying Integration Instance details : The topics covered
in this class, we are going to look
at how to chain the addition message bags tax. For a particular instance. We can start and stop by
instance how we can more instance from one compartment
to another compartment. Now, let's switch
over to the browser and walk you through
the documentation. Here in the documentation
page on the left-hand side, we have to select editing the edition license

see an option or you are seeing access
restricted message, then you how to
add this policy in IAM policy with a
particular group. That is to use Cloud Shell

we can just copy from here. And then again, basically here and run the command
in our Cloud Shell. Leaving the incident details. This is the incident tells what we're seeing

documented over here. Next thing is starting and stopping political
integration instance. In order to start and
stop an instance, we have to click on this
more actions from here. As this is active, we can stop. Once it is stopped, then
we can stop the instance. So Oracle has documented
the actions causes the following to occur
if we are trying to stop the running instance, that is, the instance
endpoints will be paused. Process instances are paused, runtime is scheduled,
integrations will not execute. Database purging
continues to stay, PAs will be unavailable to use and design tab will not
be available for users. We can move an instance to a different compartment
in order to do that, to go to our
integration instances page from here, in
the More Actions, we can click on this and select the new compartment name from the drop-down and click
on more resource. It will move the instance from one compartment to another. So we can delete an instance. If you are no longer
using any instance, then we can go to more
actions and click on Delete. It will delete our instance. But more details you
can, anytime we come to this documentation page by Oracle and have a look on this.
