Now that we're getting close to a cure, Kendall's Do you want to go over a few safety tips before we get started on your conscience ? You definitely want to make sure that you have any Children as well as pets away from the area, because we are dealing with very high temperature liquids and we don't want to have any spills or any injuries. Also, if you have any allergies or sensitivities, it is recommended for you to wear gloves because you will be touching the fragrance oils, and now it isn't likely for you to spill it on yourself. But in the case of an accident, you always want to be safe. If at any time you have the fragrant soil or the wax, go onto your skin. You want to immediately go on ahead and wash your hands with warm water. And so, and if any irritation continues, please call your doctor
3. Making Your Candles: when started to make your candles, you want to make sure that your pot is about half way filled with water, and you could put a whole bag of candle wax inside of your porting picture. When you're doing this, you also want to make sure that this wax is not over filling and falling into the water. This pouring picture fits exactly one count of wax, so you'll be just fine when using this cattle. Get also, candle wax does end up melting pretty quickly, so you do want to make sure that you do have your thermometer hand. You can bring your feet to about medium. Since you do not want getting too hot, where the water will begin to boil, where water droplets will get into the rocks and that can cause an explosion. While you're wax started to melts, we can start prep our candle containers, so to start you're gonna need to three tins and Kendall Kit comes with 12 so you'll be able to make three candles of each fragrance provided for you. We'll also make sure that we have our week stickers and our wicks, too. When you're prepping our cancel George, you want to make sure that we have our UIC stickers right here and our CD. 18 Catholics to help make sure that we have our weeks in place were also given these wick bars, which we can place right on top. And those will allow the wicks to stay straight when you're pouring our candle wax. So it's a start. You're gonna want to grab one of these tabs right here. You can keep that top kill right on it. And you see, right in the jar there is a circle you're gonna want to place. This, like sticker writes in that circle here. And once you have your wick right in the center, you could grab that little tab, grants up and pull it right off. Now, with that sticky side exposed, you're gonna grab your candlewick and see right here at the bottom. You're going, Teoh, stringing it out and push this right onto the bottom of your capital jar. So right there, Sure, it's matched. And then you're gonna press down as hard as you can, make sure you kind of go around so that all angles are taken care of. And there you go. You have your candle ready. Once you have all of your wicks ready, you can go ahead and grab one of your wick bars. You're just going to use this and see where that little slot issue gonna push this week, Right? You prepped candles Should look just like this. Make sure you also have a paper towel right around. So when you're for you, you don't have to worry about any Still is going all over your table. And now that we see that our candle wax is starting to melt, we can get our thermometer and going ahead and put that right. And so we kind of want to make sure that we stir it around just a little bit so that the right flakes on top get with the melted wax right at the bottom, and you'll start to see how it starts to clump together As the temperature gets hot, our thermometer does come with the clip. So you're able to put that right onto your court pictures. You don't have to worry about it going anywhere and keep in mind when using that moment. You don't want that thermometer all the way at the bottom. So you want a lift it up just a little bit so that it's above the bottom of the picture, but not touching it at all. And we're gonna let this melts all the way up until the wax reaches 185 degrees. So once your candle wax reaches 100 and 85 F, you could go ahead and grab one ounce fragrance oil. You're gonna pour it into your porting picture, and once you have your fragrance aboard, you're going to take out your point picture and place it right on a paper towel or cloth. Then you're going to go ahead and stir that for two minutes, and once you mixed your fragrance oil and your candle wax together for two minutes, you're gonna let it sit until it cools down to 1 35 degrees. Once you get support in your candles, you want to fill it to about 1/4 inch from top of the jar. Some candle jars like thes from Kendall Sciences Kid, have a guide to help. You know when your jar is filled just right. White Watts is definitely something you have to get used to and learn what works best for you. A common issue that beginners have is that the wax spills down the pouring picture and gets everywhere to help. You can hold a paper towel to the picture as you poor, and that will catch any spills. What I found that works best for me is to pour at a consistent pace and not poor too slowly or quickly. You'll want to avoid pouring too slowly, because when the walks is in your picture, it will cool and get stuck as you're trying to fool your jars and you'll want to avoid pouring too quickly because it will cause air bubbles to form and your candles will cool with air rules in it. So that's why you will want to find what pace works best for you as you practice making your candles.
4. Clean Up: the clean up process is super simple. When it comes to, you'll need paper towels and rubbing alcohol. Clean your supplies. Just add a little of the big toe and wiped off access flaps. Do you have quite a bit of wax left over? You could either. Music for future candles, for you could simply melt the wax and then born into a brick up or paper plate and dispose of it. Remember, never relaxed down dreams.
5. Final Touches: hunter Candace have cooled overnight, or after 24 hours, you could remove the wick bar and use wick trimmers to cut your links to about 1/4 of an inch. This is important to do because it will allow for safe lighting a few candles whenever you use it. Using a big tremor will be your best bet because it is easy and fast use. You could find them at any store that sells candles like Target and Hobby Lobby after you, but admired your creations. Attached the warning labels that are provided for you and your kids. This contains important C D information about your candles, like with training information and where to place your Kendall while burning. My favorite part of the whole process is getting to light my candles for the first time. You'll want to get the most use out of your candles. So when you burn your candles for the first time, let them burn for 2 to 4 hours until the wax reaches all the way to the edge of the jar. If you don't let your melt pool touch the edges at first light, your candle will most likely tunnel as you continue to use it and you'll have a lot of wax left over, and we definitely don't want to waste all that hard work.
