Now see in the next lesson videos 2. Materials used in this class, The Wire Bending and Wraping Technique: Welcome to the second lesson video of this class. In this part of the class, I'll be showing you the materials used in this project and all start making our car Bangle by walking you through the steps to bend and wrap the copper wire that will be using for the Bangle. And these are the list of materials used in this project. I got you can use when creating your Ankara Bangle project. Now first material on the list to start off with any cylindrical or round, circular shaped object, you can use big can scenes or plastic container. That's our big enough in size and circumference to fit your wrist. Next on the list is all purpose adhesive or glue gun can use any of that bowl for this project. Next is the copper wire. We are using size copper wire for this project. And of course, your Ankara fabric. You can use any colour of Ankara fabric or style of Ankara fabric that you want. And this is what we'll be making. Ankara fabric bangles. This is what the Ankara fabric bangles will look like at the end of this class. When I'm done showing you the steps of making. Now in step one, we take our copper wire, we're going to stretch it out unexpanded as we begin to work with the Ankara bangle became after stretching it out, take your cylindrical object and begin to wrap the copper wire around the body of the cylindrical object, or can continue wrapping the copper wire around the cylindrical object. Notes that this copper wire is thick, able to bend and stay in shape as you wrap it around the cylindrical object using your hands after you have done wrapping it around the cylindrical object and both edges of the copper wire have met each other. They took out the copper wire from the cylindrical object. Or you will notice that a copper wire has taken the shape of circular cylindrical object. And now the copper wire is starting to look nice and round. Next tick a sharp scissors, and then make a mark on the copper wire, about half an inch or one of the edges of the copper wire. After making a slight map, then using your hand, begin to bend the copper wire slightly and repeated on that same Max Sport. As you continue to bend, the wire becomes brittle and the wire snaps right? Or as you can see in the video after that, set aside excess copper wire. And this is what we're going to have a circular shape copper wire that will be using to make a Ankara bank. Now moving on to the next step, which is step to cutout the piece of Ankara fabric WWE Walking we from the main bulk fabric, as you can see individually, I've gone ahead to cutout the pieces of fabric that will be working with out of the main bulk and craft fabric. This particular piece I'm working with and I cutout earlier is half an inch width wise and then length wise, it is 7 " in length. Next, using the all purpose adhesive glue or glue gun and your glue, you take your glue and then please switch small glue and at one of the edges of the copper wire, then take the piece of Ankara, fireball one edge of fabric, and then place it on top of the glute copper wire. Then you proceed to begin to wrap the piece of fabric around the copper wire as she wrapped the copper wire with their car fabric. Notice that you second-hand should be holding the already wrapped side of Ankara fabric down place. This will help prevent the already wrapped areas of the copper wire from loosening up. As I continue to wrap a piece of Ankara fabric around the entire copper wire, continued to repeat the process of adding more glue on the rest of the areas of the copper wire and then proceeds to wrap the copper wire with a fabric right on top of the blue copper wire. Note that the more glue you add, the more it helps to keep the fabric and play continued to wrap my repeat this process of glue in there, wrapping the Ankara fabric on top of the copper wire and the blue while using your secondhand hold, your previous wrap and craft fabrics are for along the copper wire in place so well we continue wrapping. Join me in the next video, Lesson three, as we will continue the Wraping process, and I'll show you the steps are finishing up the Ankara bangles neatly in the next video lesson. Now seeing the next video Lesson three 3. The Wire Wraping Technique continued and Ankara Bangle finishing process: Welcome to the total Lesson video of this class. It is part of the class, will be continuing to fabric wrapping process here. And I'll also show you the steps to finish up the Ankara bangles in the later part of this class, now continued the next step, which is step three, container fabric wrapping process. Keep wrapping the Ankara fabric on and along the copper wire node. The more glue you add onto the copper wire, the more it will help keep the previous rapidly as of Ankara fabric to stay please on the copper wire. Repeat the process of wrapping the fabric and then gluing while using the secondhand to maintain the folded fabric or the rough part of the fabric on the Wire and more glue as needed. And after putting the glue, grab the fabric right on top and over the glue nodes, that each subsequent fabric wrapping along the wire must be layered slightly on top of the previous layer of Ankara fabric that was wrapped. This is to help ensure that there is no space in between each layer of Ankara fabric wrap on top of the Wire. After that, keep wrapping onto you get the second edge of the copper wire. Now, moving on to the next step, step four. Now the average, the second edge of the copper wire, I now want to join the two edges of the copper wire here together and then cover it up the meeting point. Finish up this bank. To begin the finishing up process, I first bend both edges of the copper wire to meet each other. Slide. Then I put glue on both edges of the copper wire and then bend it again properly to meet each other. And then simultaneously wrap the Ankara fabric on top of the meeting points and edges of the two glued edges of the copper wire. As you can see, we're wrapping it right on top of the glute meeting point of the two edges of the copper wire, I add more glue to ensure that the rock layers in place and then continuously wrap Ankara fabric right on top of the glute point and go to pop the meeting points of the copper wire. Continue gluing and then Wraping Ankara fabric right on top or to cover up the bad more glue as needed. And didn't finish off by wrapping the fabric right on top of the glue. After that, I cutout any leftover fabric from the Wraping process using a scissors and then trim any leftover treads, sticky notes, or row edges sticking out. I add more glue to any row edges sticky now and then press the glue and Ankara fabric in place. If there any row edges In out, I use my scissors to trim out any excess raw edges sticking out on the curb. And then we have our finished Ankara fabric bangles is ready. Very colorful, very nice. Ankara fabric bangles. You can use any Ankara fabric color or style or fabric type to get different colors and different patterns for Ankara fabric Bangle accessories can now go ahead to try on your finished Ankara bangles on your risks to ensure it fits into yours.
