Transcripts

1. Introduction about the course: Hi. Are you looking for the transcription job so that you can own a part-time income or a full-time career? Yes. You are in the correct place. I have designed. This goes based on my experience. This causes not only help you to understand what is transcription, but it will guide you till you reach you at first job in online platforms. A quick introduction about myself. I have done mass Jason combos and Digital Marketing along with cybersecurity and white hat hacking, it could leave about discourse. In first module, I'm going to explain to you a brief about transcription. Why we need to do transcription, water, the job opportunities are there in the transcription. Second, I'm going to quickly show you what all the income opportunities based on the above types mentioned on my third module with this little bit of deep understanding about various types of vet site which is available in the market. So here I'm going to bifurcate between those websites, which is very specific to transcriptions. And I can help you to understand what is the difference for you to do a walk indoors kind of website. It is very specific. Or doors that such upward and firewood, which is not really specific to transcription, but you will get free landings on from there as well. So here in this module, I'm going to cover how to find your first job in a website. So this includes a detailed overview about applying a job and getting you a job. Now, you got a job. Hey, congratulations, you won your first job. So next is how to do this task. It's very difficult, right? I'm going to take you through East steps from Ben. You get the email from the client about the work till completion of TechShop. Here I'm gonna introduce two betas websites, which will help you to convert the audio into text, which will ease your work. It's really been to guide all the audio, right? So we have lot of website and tools which will help you to convert an audio into text. I can give you a demo of how to do that as well. So the last point, which is this is about quality check. So after you complete your task, how to do a review and understand that it's a 100%, HE McEwen at least 99% each. And submit for your book. So VDD, these six modules, you will be learning what is transcription jobs, how to do those jobs, and how to earn money from those chops. Additionally, I'm going to provide you rub friends documents also bit this module so that it will be helpful for you to refer back. Hope you will find this information very helpful and you will land in your first job soon. Follow my steps, Bailey Bailey carefully, that will help you to build your guided in their transcription industry. Thank you. 2. Introduction to Transcription Course: Hi again. That was a quick introduction about the course. Now let's get into what is transcription. So how many of you know, what is transcription? Bs, maybe you are familiar with the word transcription or some of you know what exactly it's a transcription. So for people who are really bigness is a quick introduction on what is transcription. Transcription means. You are converting an audio into text document so that audio could be a video, or it can be an MP3, MP4, or any format you are playing it on a system, on a device and converting that into text that can be stored in Microsoft Word or Notepad. So that process is called transcription. A detailed explanation is given by Wikipedia. So that is a transcription service is a main service that converts speech into a written or electronic text document. Transcription services are often provided for business, legal, or medical purposes. The most common type of transcription is from spoken language source into text suggests computer file suitable for printing as a documents such as report. So that's a quick introduction of transcription. And what we have mainly is that interview transcriptions. So this is completely based on my experience. And when I did couple of researchers, I could see that most of the works comes, is a interval that can be a one-on-one interview or an interview with a lot of people, or interview on Skype, Zoom or any other tools. So that is why I give a small explanation here for interview transcriptions. In w transcription is a word to word written documentation of a taped or live interview. All types of interview pertaining to legal cases, businesses research, celebrating their view and many more can be transcribed. So that's a quick brief about transcription. Now, let's jump into what are the types of transcriptions. So these five are mainly the types of transcriptions. So first one is focus group discussions. So these all, these all can be a motivation clause or a classroom trainings, or a very specific to corporate discussions, such as discussing on one topic, you know, let's say increasing the revenue of a company. So that's a discussion. So this is very forecast to a subject and a group will be there. So let's say some 34 peoples on more than two or three people came together into a round table and having a discussion. So this will be difficult for a transcriber because it's often very difficult to understand, usually what I have been experiences that the audio quality will not be that good. So this is one of the Vader difficult format of transcription. So Hill, It will be often difficult to identify who is speaking and what is the name of the speaker compared to the other types of transcriptions. So next is telephone calls. Which is relatively easy because usually the quality of the audio will be very good. And usually it will be between one or two people. So it would be very easy for you to understand who is speaking and accordingly, you can make the name of the speakers. So the next is interviews. So in the US can be with one-on-one discussions. One-on-one interviews all fit multiple people. So it based on how many people are there in a interview panel, the difficulties when Coase up and fought diabetes zoom calls it, it can be zoomed goals Skype, or even WhatsApp gods. This is also something very similar to telephone calls because the clarity will be usually good, but not really up to telephone calls. And the final one is subtitled or closed captions. This is a different type of transcription because here you need to record clearly the timings also from when a sentence is starting and Sean Venice and densities ending. So you need to split it based on the blocks so that I am not going to touch upon subtype locked closed captions in this tutorial. So I will be doing a detailed transcription on my next course. So these are the five types of transcriptions. I give a quick example of discourse you need to understand before you get evoke. What discussion is this? What type of audio transcription exist? Then only it will be easy for you to understand how much time will it take to do the transcription and how much is the budget for that transcription? So this five factors is very, very important to consider. So let say if it is civic group discussions worth telephone calls. Telephone calls will be relatively simple for you to do, considering the audio quality and the number of participants. But same time focus group can be a miserable jobs also for you. I have attached a sample of a transcription files. This is an interval between two people must achieve and Brad. So here you can see that this is a clean, well bad Tim transcription example. I have attached in the left side. So here you can see I have mentioned the names of the speakers so that it will be clear for the client to identify who is speaking. So there are two types of verb vacuum. It's a clean we're betting and full well, that I have mentioned before, I will update the basic guy lengths along with this course so that you can go through that guide lengths and sturdy properly before events you start the work. That will help you to increase your quality and stand out from the normal transcribe. A couple of things I want that space on this. You need to understand when the person is stopping this peak. So that is very, very important, heals and accordingly, so here this is easy for you because two people are having a short conversation, short word conversations. But when, if it is a real speech, then you need to make sure that you need to understand where to take a break and get into the next paragraph. So here you can see Mr. Brad is speaking. So a small paragraph after that. It's a good it's a decision to take that into the next paragraph. So you will be able to do keeping medical attention in the subject. Some places you can't see inaudible zero-zero point to seven, which means that simply that portion is not already, but I'm just giving an example of this things anyway, these all been covered in the, in the guidelines. So some places you can see here a loss with Speaker This laughing. So, or any other sound which is getting some, let's say if it God is honking in the background. So all these things you can mention. So if a third person which is not really related to this topic, and he comes and asks you something. You may not have mentioned that here. So that was a quick introduction on the transcript and we can move on to the potential income opportunities on the next module. Thank you. 3. Income Opportunities: Hi. So Vico would improve about transcription in last module, which also includes what all the types of transcription jobs available in the market. So now let's get into understand how much money really began make out of this job. So for that, the best way is to know how much money people are really making the transcription jobs. So I did a couple of researchers on this topics. So this is really Bailey's. There are people who earns $5 per hour to $100 per hour in this industry. So it's completely up to you really wanted to go whether you want to stay as a file dollar transcription or a $100 transcription. That's where the guide helps you. For each client work. What do you delivered? That should be so odd. So I believe this transcription is not really admin task, but it is a art. You need to understand what exactly the speaker talking. You need to get what he speaking properly. You need to understand the subject variable and then to deliver the best piece of art. So that is the difference between people who charge Fidler forever and a $100 per Hello. I'm going to quickly show you some of the profiles in Upwork. So I'm referring Upwork here based platform those search for jobs as less explaining how much is the potential. Because if we are getting into every website out there, it will be very difficult for you to grab a job there. As I said, there are many, many, many job opportunities out there. So I am here concentrating only Upwork. Couple of profiles I want to show you before. So here first one is Edna. You can see it now is started transcribing since 1988. And of course that's not really the time when Upwork is dead. But here enough work. Edna already owned $30 thousand from only 227 jobs. She's charging now seventy-five dollars, but our rate so you can assume one hour transcriptions, which will usually take about two to three hours for an expert to do the transcriptions. So she's charging like 140 US dollars for one hour transcription. Yes. That's good money, right? You can own, let say, some five or six hours. And it's, it's guaranteed that if you are into good success rate, you're gonna get a lot of folks from this website. So next is Nadia. I'm putting this example for some of you will know and other languages in addition to English, some of you are friends, some of you are Germans, Some of you are Spanish. It's an advantage for you to know it another language. So there is always demand for the people who know us. And additional language than English is so that you can, you can get translation job. So here you can see Nadia is charging only $20 per hour. But she owned more than 50 thousand US dollars. So I am giving her profile link also below. These are all open profiles anybody can visit and have a look on her profiles. So you can just whenever you get some three times, you can just go there and what are the types of job she's doing in this space? So that's the story of nadia. Then. The next profile is Julie. So she joined a book very, very recently. And you can see her Broca's she's earned almost $10 thousand, which is she's charging for defy our rate. And see one of the things what I can show to you is that the job success and top-rated. So this will be really helpful for you to get hired. So Dale comes the picture of the quality and the perfections. So if a job is in good-quality, bit high perfection, then you're gonna, you're gonna get a 100% job success, top-rated freelancer in Upwork, which will help to flood job into Upwork. So next is a quick introduction about the website. So here in a Borg website up, up themself is promoting load of freelancers. So here you can see in the website, in the front page of the website, you can see many, many freelancers who are really charging. So here you can see close. So close charging a $100 forever. And seemed time. You can see people are charging $60, but ours. So that is the difference where you can make have to be very, very good in your book. You practice multiple time, do the best hardwork and whatever work you get, even if it is a fight or retreat or a loved one or a book, just make sure that you daily with a 100% H quality job that will help you to get into a $100 per hour worked. That will help you to get a $100. Our rate, maybe quick point for the people who are in medical transcription, or a doctor, or people who had work experience in medical industry. This is very good for us well, because medical transcription is one of the transcription which has been, which has been out here. And there are quite a lot of opportunities also. And relatedly there, they are highly paid. So that's a brief about the potential income opportunities. And this is I am very much specified to Upwork. I'm going to have one more module to introduce another websites also. So it's us, it's completely your choice whether you wanted to focus on fun website or you wanted to create a profile in Vedas, other website. And if you have enough time, you can walk, you can concentrate on all works together. I will only suggest you to concentrate on one thing, any of the website because all of the books and what I'm going to introduce is good in its highly potential. You can make a lot of money. But one thing makes sure that you are concentrating in one thing that that will help you to grow in that. So that's a brief about income opportunities. Next, I'm going to introduce some more genuine website which will help you to get started on your work. Thank you. 4. Different Types of Freelance genuine websites: Hi. In the last module, we had discussed the potential income opportunities from the transcripts and jobs. Now in this, I am going to show to you some of the very genuine websites which will help you to earn an additional income through transcriptions. I am going to divide that type of websites into to heal. So one type is that visits exclusively for transcriptions ops. I'm going to show that website on the later part of the slides. So before getting into that kind of website, my suggestion will be to try out in not on exclusive websites, there are plus and minus for each of these peptides. So I am going to personally suggest you start work on any of these peptide, what I am showing. So I have my personal experience in working this five websites and earn good money from here. That's this one. I can give you a 100% confidence that if you are, keep on working any of these strips, right, you're going to earn good money. But only the factories that you have to work, only one or two Yukon concentrated in this file. That is often a mistake many of my students did in the past. They will be creating a profile in all of these website handy, be trying everything together and will not get a job and will ended up demoed to it. So that's why I always again and again to suggest to you that to start with one or two. So in this course, I'm going to concentrate only on Upwork to get a job. Just a quick introduction of the soar website. So Upwork, Some of you must be knowing about Upwork uppercase, a platform with clients will post a job and you have to bid for that job. So if your bid is good and the proposal is good, then you're gonna get that book in my next module, I'm going to show to you how do soldier job find a job and how to build a proposal for that job. So the next steps, IDs, good. So good will also work in similar way, similar way like Upwork. And the next is fiber. So Fiverr is slightly different from Upwork. Fiverr means you have to create gig for you awoke, like you are a professional transcription that fit so enjoy your experience and you charge this much amount for this much durations. So you have to create your gig for that book that will help the client to come and see the profile and get by that gig. So that's how the fiber will walk. Next is freelancer, which is also very popular. The last stone is people per hour. So I0. I would drag command yield, Upwork, discharge bit because abort policies, upward guidelines, everything is good compared to others. Why I mostly work in all these five. But my suggestion is always upward. So what I observed is that Upwork has many jobs, transcription Joe's compared to other form. So I personally recommend to use Upwork. That's the kind of jobs where you have a client and the website. And this is the type of business where 300 volt you blind and the web site. So the site will act as a platform here for the client to post a job. And you're going a bit deeper and get the walk. So there are another type of website, which is these three are very, very exclusively for transcription. Date doesn't have any other types of job ads in graphical designing, logo creation, or PowerPoint, or any of these types of work is not dead in here in this three websites. So these are very much specific to the transcription jobs. So the difference between these three jobs on you have to write some examination and you need to get selected to work for them. This work similar like an employer employee once. So once you get selected to work in any of these three sites, then they're going to provide you all the assistance, such as the training documents than training videos. And then some of the softer ways for you to do the transcriptions. So it has plus and minus, they expect a 100% it's quality. So it will be difficult for you if you're working on any of these three. So that is why I don't really recommend to start with this tree website. So that's the difference between professional free lands transcription website and freelance websites such as Upwork Fiverr handled. So couple of more things to know. In Upwork. The BDS completely depends upon how much is your budget. But here in this left side, it is flat. You're gonna get as specific amount which is pre-determined. It has good and bad. It will not change, it will not come down or it will not go stop, goes up. But in Upwork, based on your expertise, if you're getting into a professional that it operated on a 100%, uh, job success, freelancing, then Upwork themselves will boost super fine and you're gonna get more work so that you can increase your rate. That kind of facilities are not here in this city websites. So that is a brief about two types of website I'm going to recommend you and I'm gonna show you tutorial based on an upward work. But of course you may feel free to explore other options as well. Because for me personally, I my my first job in freelancer. And slowly I start after that, I started in Upwork, then phi one and so on. So first, we need to focus on one thing, whichever the UI you are comfortable, which were the pattern you are comfortable. Any of these website you can choose to start your work, but make sure that these, these old website only selected. I have put DEC grow put together these or based on my personal experience, I received money from all these websites so that it will help. You also do get money. Thank you. 5. Tips to Win Transcription jobs: Hi, so we have learned what is transcription? What are the types of transcription? What is a job opportunities in transcription jobs? What is a potential income opportunities in transcription? And what are the genuine websites which we can trust that we will get money from those websites. We have covered the job, write basic information's. Now in this video, I'm going to explain to you how to find a transcription job. So here I'm going to explain to you with an example of Upwork, but same logics, same thought process you can apply in other traits also so that we will ended up in getting a job. So without any delay, let's get into work. Here you can see and Upwork profile. So this is my colleague's profile and she's a professional transcriptions specialist. She just started about three months and she owned more than $5 thousand in transcription, you could see her profile. So now first thing is that how to search a job in Upwork. So as I mentioned, similar logics you can apply in other websites also shoe. So based on your comfortable, you can choose the best website which you feel that you are working. But I will suggest Upwork in this tutorial. And I'm going to give you examples on how to search job in Upwork and how to find the correct job in upward. So what I mean by correct, because transcription is a industry which is very demanding. Same time there are freelancers. Who, there are many freelancers, as I was showing you, from $6.2, $100 rate, there are range of freelancers. So it's tough to get a good freelancer for a client, right? That is the difficulty for a client perspective. Hence, you need to consider certain points, certain criteria as while you are searching the job, which will make sure that you are ending up a job, ending up the right job. So stay focused. Now. We have two options. One option is to select the correct job, transcription jobs. One thing is that we need to be always looking for a job. So here you can see in my feet, transcription jobs will be keep coming. So to make sure that you are getting all the transcription jobs, you can go to Mike HOD and here it did, and make sure that you selected transcription here. So my colleague is focusing on another subject like social media marketing, torsion, search engine optimization, and themed Time transcription aspirin. So if you're only focusing in transcriptions, so you can mentioned transcription over here that will make sure that you are getting all the transcription jobs posted by clients across the globe. So after you select transcription, so next exchanges that for you to search for jobs, right? So you can go to this small magnifying glass. And so some of the points you need to notice is the proposals. So first, I will type transcription jumps so that we will. Filter from other jobs. So he'll be, we got a bunch of transcription jobs. Now, as you can see, there are many, many types of transcription tops, many different types of transcript jumps, and the page just goes to infinity. So here we need to make sure that we are selecting the correct job we are applying for the job. So to do that, you need to filter and select number of proposal 55 to 1010 fifteenths. So these are the three categories I will select. So basically, if you wanted, you can stop from five to ten, also ten to 15 neutron after Select. I usually go and select this dream because transcription is a high demanding hand, highly walked through a job which has lower free lenses so that it can easily get Lord of proposals. So then I will select district. So this three, we basically filter out from proposal which is already crossed 15 and above. So if it is 15 and above, then it is, it is very difficult for to get that job. So I will restrict myself till 15 jobs. So now you can see five goes here. Again still you can see it just goes to fire that many opportunities are there. Now from here you need to see which all the jobs which is relevant for you. So this is one hour of audio transcriptions. So some of the things you need to notice of the searching, the job, you need to come over here to see that, to filter it based on your requirement. So I would not suggest you to apply for all the jobs which is available. But instead, you need to go one more step to understand whether you will get that job or not after you apply. So that is very crucial, right? So typically I selected 0 to 15 proposals, which means that for that job, only up to 15 proposed. A LOT been received from different lines. So now I will these all jobs, whatever I feel that we will be able to do it. So here this is the data and the job linked set of medical conditions in data. Three close caption, video caption of subtitle. So some of the jobs like this you can see create a closed caption for one video. So this looks like a job which we can easily do. So here is a simple explanation the client has given. He has 30 minute audio or video file and he needed to get that into an SR D5. So couple of things to note here is that this is a k technical integrity of the freelancer. We need an export 1113 minutes, $30 job. And some of the things to note is that this is project type is onetime project. And here couple of information about the client also given, this will help us to know that how is the client, basically client profile, where he's from and how is this hiding the this will really help us to know that with them is a good client or not. Here we could see that they have given reviewed the client also. So we can see the client is getting fives Charles in last couple of work and no feedback given, no feedback that when basically he called bullfights task from his four walks. So it looks like client is a good client. So we won't have any issues here. And when he comes here down, so here you can see the client asked a couple of questions. So make sure that you have replying that Christians exactly. Because while you apply for a job, these are all the questions, Client B to C first and then only the cover letter become. Then waters. You are skills and expertise required. Language, English, then transcription, captioning, subtitles. So here you can see the island type is an independent English level is an 8-year-old bilinguals bilinguals locations, United States, Australia, United Kingdom. I'm not from any of these regions so that it will be seen as red. But this doesn't really matter. Sometimes client will hire if you are not really from the United States also. But this is really mattered activity on this job. So proposals already received his fighter then, which is very important for you to see if there are high numbers of proposal CO2. I would not suggest for you to apply for that job last viewed by the client six hours ago. So if it is like some ten days ago, the client view this proposal without hiring anyone, then likely the client will not hire anyway. So you don't have to be, it's two connects. Next interview. Here you can see that the client is already in the living tubulin. So which means that the probability for you to get this job after your place very, very less. So make sure that here it is at least 0, so that you will have a better chance. Invites sent and unanswered invites are the time when time falses job. He will have an option to send the invite. Known freelancers and Apple will suggest some of the freelancers so that it will be easy for the client sends an invite. So he did not send any invites the time of job watching, that's why we can ignore that. So this, as I mentioned before, this is very key to, key to C. So this sees that water, the tau is the client both forming. You can see from here, the client is a good client, is almost getting all the fights jazz. And you can see that client is giving good trading freelancers elsewhere only here this is for, apart from that, he has given good ratings, which means that if you do the job properly is going to give you a firestorm. Similarly, one thing to notice is that the client is rehydrating the freelancers again. So if you are obese, perfect, if client likes the job, then there is a potential chance to rehire up. So one of the things you hear, I could not really see the client name, but from here you will be able to see the client name also. So while you are sending a proposal to the client, stop, You can probably ended the client's name. That will give you a confidence for the client is IDS dispersion is really getting into the job thoroughly. So the next step is submitted proposals. So while submitting a proposal, makes sure that your profile is selected as transcription. So you might have other profiles also, as I mentioned, my colleague here is having a Search Engine Optimization profile and a graphical design profile along with transcriptions to make sure that you are applying from applying to the correct profile transcription been selected. The next is that the milestone on BioProject? How do you want to be paid? So now you can see 30 jobs, $30 for the client quoted. But earlier we have seen that the client posted and other jobs also in the reviews. So from there you can understand that the client is ready to pay its 20-30, 14, that's the range of the client. This is very useful while you are building a project. Can basically given budget for us. And let's say if it's someone our jump. So my rate is let say $20 or $30. So I would know I would suggest you to come with the low rates in the initial days. But later on Bayesian Expedia, expert eyes, you can probably increase your rate. So based on the client experience, we can heal, give a rate to the client. So this is a $40. I can reduce that into $20. If the client is looking, looking into the peoples who have applied for this job, if the profile is nice and the capture and the UN letter to the client is good. And if the rate is also designed so that you will get the hypos, high chance to hire. So that is why I reduced into 20. So as I mentioned earlier, so based on the type of job also, you can change it if it is a focused discussion, you need to charge a little bit more high because it will need more work. If it is a direct one-on-one discussion, a Skype call or a tail if Kelly call, so that you don't really need to charge that much compared to a focus group discussion. So this is how long this project will take. So these are all small, small jobs that slavery can mention one week. Or if it is a long-term job where you need to develop a software or something, some other works, let's say if it is a huge amount of work, like some, some, some 20 hours of recording you need to translate so those cases accordingly, you can change it. These sessions are very important. This is the first thing the client will see, the cover letter. So first of all, you need to greet the client. Hello, XY set, as I mentioned before, you need to give the name of declined if, if it is available in the reviews, that will basically give a kind of a good gesture. So you need to be very sure how to write a cover letter to while writing a cover letter. So I have shown you before the reviews what freelancers had given for the old, old job posts for the client, right? So from then you will get a chance to see the client name. So you could probably give the client name. So I am just mentioning some random name here. Hey, hello John. So that's not really mandatory thing. But of course it's nice gesture that the client will issue at that ES, this guy as did some research. And you can this session, I will divide this into three sections. First, second, third, then regards. So here in this session, you can give you an experience in this field. Let's say for the US, experienced in transcription. If you, if you are a Who join me if you are fresh, if you're a refresher, you can ignore this part and you can view that you are, you are quality of previous projects. If you're completely new, you can ignore that thoughtful. And second hill. You can mention that. So here in the second points, you can view a little bit about that project. So 39 minutes, how much time you want to take. So you can see 39 minutes. I'm gonna take two hours for transcription. And you can view the format. Clean your bathroom. And third, you again ask some questions also, like you would in this case, you can ask that how many members, how many members are there in these discussions? So this gives you a confident for the client that you have to do a homework properly before applying for the job. And another thing is that looking forward for a quick discussion, I generally write that. So this will give you a kind of a feeling for the client that let's get into a discussion. So if you write that explicitly, the client will get that dot. So that's a psychological move. What we are doing here to get that shot. So that's how you need to write a cover letter. Then the clients will ask couple of questions. So this is completely based on what older clients needed for that project. So here you can see, do you have to experience creating closed or open captions right here, genuinely, If you have, right, what do you have? So I have to use or experience in creating subtitles. Then you can write that, what are the projects? So you can give me an expedient here. Do we have a sample for your previous books? So you can say yes, attached below. So this is also one of the things you need to be very sure. So while you are applying for a job, so you need to attach one of your sample project there. So make sure that the confidentiality of that person. So if it is highly confidential, I would send us not to attach it. So if you've done something randomly for any client or yourself something, then you could attach that. That gave me confidence to the client that this person is understand the project relevant and he will be able to do this task properly. So here you can mention not really a mode of really native English language expert, but I can mention no, but fluent in English language. So instead of you write a straight no. Here you can mention like this, so that the client will feel that this person needs God in English also. So if a client C, This proposal, proposal stand outside from others, this will help you to grab your first job. Barely sleep. So based on your experience, you can change it here slightly. But this is a format I will recommend to start with themed Time. You can attach a sample project here and submit. That's a quick example on how to send a proposal and how to get a job. 6. Transcription Job process (Job demo): Hi, so in last my session. So you'll have learned how to send a proposal and how to win a jump. So that was a detail session, right? Yes, because you need to follow that steps very, very accurately. And eat depths are very important for you to get the first job as a tool you before. There are many, many freelancers out there in this session, in this sector, so that it is difficult for a client to identify who is the best. So after you Vin a job, after a client contacted you, vote, you have to do how to do this task. That's what I'm going to explain to you in this session. So to do that, I will go to one of an old contracts so that I can show you from the beginning to end how it happened. So here I will go and I will show you what was the or the General's job posting first to show you that how it games. So this was this was one of the first jobs from my colleague. So here, as I told you before, it's very important for you to coat the correct price for the job, because maybe initially you will struggle with the job because of, it will be usually very less in cost, but do not worry once you start getting the base, you, you're gonna get good amount. So here this job was 55 minutes recoding and she wanted it to be converted into text with clean well bathroom. So 55 minutes, $9 is very cheap dusk, but this will really help you to get your first job. After that, you can slowly increase your price. Here is the attachment before you send the proposal, I mentioned in my last video, you have to go through this attachment very carefully. So after once you go to this attachment, you will be able to judge whether this book you will be able to complete it or not. And this amount, what is offering it's justifiable or not. You can open it and played to identify. Here. You can see that all the history of the client, I will go through the contracts again. Now in message, you can see she has sent a proposal and after she send a proportion. So the client came down from the quick discussion. So she asked how long it will take. So she Al's given that two to three hours because it's only one hour, 55 minutes, right? So it's like two hours to task. So there's a quick discussion happened. And then she had send an offer. So here you can see that this client has and then offered to make a link along with the audio recording. So once you get this audio recording here now you have to carefully listen all you have to do once you click this recording. So two things you need to do. One is that the traditional way you hear this voice and type it. So now you know it is not really that efficient to type this one hour recording. So which will take you more than some six hours to seven hours because it's a horrible job, right? You have to listen carefully, n-type within. Very painful. So to do this task, I have a software you well, it's a website. So the name of the website is all dot dot AI. This website is very, very efficient and this is very, very helpful for you to convert it. So they have a basic version which gives 600 minutes of free time also, so that it will be easy for you to do a couple of new jobs. And based on the flow of the chops, you can get the paid version of this website. So after you download this file, then you can go to import audio video. You can close and open it from your desktop or wherever you saved it. So it's gonna take some time. This is a huge file. This is like 55 minutes. So it's gonna take some time. So let's pause for a minute. Here you can see that the uploading is completed. So after you complete the upload, you can click done. So now this gauge is that the conversion will happen since it is a big file, it's going to take some time. So you can mention notify me. So if you mentioned this, notify me, this is going to send you a email to you. Next is that you can see you will conversions in Mike conversions. So here you can see that delete it because I already did the conversion to show you how it looks like. So this is the same file which I have done the convolution. It's a 55 minutes file. So let me open that. You can see that the conversion is happened and they have automatic tags, some of the fields, beaker name and you know, the punctuations, etc. But this is, as I mentioned earlier, this is only 75%. These are called the scene. It's, it's not really a quality file. So after that, you have to use the guideline and get into the 95% or 99% is less than or equal to c, then only the client is going to come back to you. Once you complete the conversion, then you can go to this three dots. So once you click, you export the text. So here they are giving you two options. One is clipboard and text. And in premium it can be converted into Document, PDF or an SID. So since this is a free version, as I mentioned before, I'm gonna convert it text. So I'm going to remove this timestamp because timestamp is not required for this conversion. So speaker nims is required. But anyway, that's not be funded percentage correct. So that we need to while we are doing the manual editing so we can change it. So after that, you can select continue. Then you can see that the text is downloaded into a notepad format. So this is how it will look like. Now what you have to do is then you have to open a documents. Now what do you have to do is that you have to open a Word document after that, copy this file into this Word document. So this is a 25 page document. Now you can see that 75 percentage of the work which we have done in less than five minutes, right? So next is the real manual task, which is also the very, very important things which you need to be have added. That client also can do it, but that 20-40 percent age differences water free lens that can make. So you need to go through this document with the guidelines I'm providing. And wherever the punctuations are there, you have to mention that punctuation wherever the audio is not audible, then you have to tag it as inaudible. And wherever there are named software company or names of a brand, then you have to mention it on that specific, let's say if it is an iPhone, that IE is a small letter, right? So similar way according to the brand guidelines of that specific brand, you have to mention over here. And this all will be very important things to notice. Once you complete this along with the guidelines. Next step is the qualitative review. Qualitative view. I will recommend you have to do it after some time. Give it some time of let say some two hours, three hours or four hours, or maybe you can come on next to them. And and really the game. So this, this at least to record a two round of proofreading because sometimes some words you will have heard can be different from the original word, those kinds of changes can be eliminated. If you're not understanding some words, not understanding a word. Because maybe it's a different accent or maybe it's a, it's a word which were not really available, available, those kinds of awards. You can do a Google search to find what is the correct word using the name of the speaker can be a difficult thing. Let's say Facebook's CEO speaking, Mark Zuckerburg and name is Minim is difficult to pronounce. So you can basically search Facebook, see you and understand who's done so like that are all the different types where you can find the correct name and various brand names, etc. So based on this search and find, that's the next step on the quality of review. So he, on the first review, you can just highlight those things by highlighter. And while you are under quality review, you can spend some time and investigate and find what is the correct word. So that's all for this session. Thank you. 7. Quality check, review and submit for payment: Hi. Now you have a 75 percentage completed document file with you at transcribed file, which has a cozy up to 75%, which now it comes to a manual intervention here. As I mentioned before, I'm gonna give you the guidelines also how to do this. So you need to do this job by three task. So firstly is the conversion, what we have done, and you have a document up to 75 percentage. Second is that now you need to read through this document while listening to the audio. So that is a comparison you can do. And you can get up to some 85 to 90 percentage of service by that process. So make sure that at least you do two times of revision, it two times of proof, proof reading for this fine, this will make sure that at least you are 80 to 90 percentage. So once you complete that process, then it comes to guidelines. Now, it's the time to increase your quality. So I will give you a document, Guideline document, which will basically help you to get into the best quality will find document. So couple of things for you to know this. I can quickly explain to you that. So this finally will give you certain guidelines how to interpret. Let's say if they mentioned that, it's all well and good, Darwin. So that's an accident. People will use it, right? So this altered doesn't have that much capacity, capability to understand how they speak exactly. So it's gonna convert whatever this, this spoken. So they might say darling, it could be in, it could be an accent. So there you have to apply your thoughts and writing full. So it's all well and good darlings. So those kind of things can be explained in the auto grid, autograph expelling. So speaker labeling that I mentioned before. So you need to be very specific in speaker labeling. If you understand the speaker, the name of the speaker, you can mention the name of the speaker. If you did not understand, you can mention it as speaker one In the new y1. So contraction, all the contractions you have to expand it. It could be give me gone up or down. So you have to expand it garnered going to and let me let me, so those changes you have to make it. And I'm seeing abbreviations also. If they mentioned that he seeks FDI to you have to fully spell it that he is six foot two, stumbled speech collections. So if they spells like no, no, no, no, if this jumbles in between. So you can use you can refer the guidelines and you can accordingly change it. Similar way, fill, fill those also, you can mention a hashtag and mentioned the failures. So I'm gonna give you some standard fillers as well. So you can use those channels, fill us. So if somebody's speaking like an overlap speak, always mentioned it as overlap under each subject, I hope will direct loss and explanation under each topic I gave you an example also how to do this task. So it, it involves multilanguage and made these tags and numbers and special characters, special symbols, exclamation marks, etc. Use of gammas. So it's a detailed guide which will help you basically to increase your quality. Make sure that you do this task a very carefully, so that we will get maximum nine different posts and each perfection. So if you get that perfections, so the client will always will reach back to you for under the works. This step is very, very important to do quality review. So once you complete that person's, So next is to submit the book after completion of this work. So my colleague send this document to the client, asks for the payment. So this is specific to Upwork and different website has it soundly for the payments. So in Upwork, once she completed the task, she can upload that in the chat window and request for the payments. Client will have a quick look on the file and she will approve the file And she will end the contract. So that's pretty much about finishing a job and getting the payment. So that is a simple task. And the symbol live demo, which I had shown you. So to show you that what are the steps involved in the end L journey of understanding a transcription to getting a payment. So this is a very easy task and same time, highly paid. So one thing you need to keep in mind is that the quality of the work. There are $6 per hour freelancers also, and a $100, but our free lens also. So where do you want to see you as? You wanted to be a $100 or you wanted to be a $6 up to 75 percentage, you have a tool to convert the audio into text. So the remaining 20 to 25% is what you have to do manual task. And this is a very easy task I have just explained to you and show to show to you how to do it and end-to-end. So these are the points you have to make sure that you remember while you are doing the task. If any questions, please feel free to reach out to me and please read the guidelines and the guidelines properly so that you can get works continuously from the same client as we hope this course is very useful sodium, if any suggestions or feedback, please pause should here, I will meet you in next goes, Thank you very much.
