1. Introduction: Hi there. Now these are congruent
least proverb that states a single brief
lived as not jingle. And what this means is that
there is strength in numbers. Think about it. Why brisket on your AML barely week in the sample when
you shake your hand. But the more you have some more sound and
impacted or mucus. And the same applies
to your business. The more of a support system you have been into a
team or mentors, the more impact your
business will have. Designed this course
to be useful too. Every interpret neuron, no matter how long you've
been in business, what field you're in, weight-based, or how you run it, as long as you are determined
to figure out what kind of help you need to take your
business to the next level, then you found the
perfect course. Now see that I don't want
to come off as rude. I think it's best to
introduce myself. I am children are
worried and I'm a Business Growth specialist
dedicating to helping enterpreneurs such
as yourself to build successful businesses on your own terms now
is squared and good to see that you need
to get help for business. But as enterpreneurs,
you and I both know that it's usually
easier said than done. It's reluctance to give
responsibility to add us, not knowing how to
spot the right people, figuring out what
exactly you'd be better police
handling yourself on the one most people
tend to forget figuring out what kind
of help you need. Because help doesn't
always equate to hiring people that see, this course is designed to
help you figure all this out. How through the business and
self-development strategies, I will share with you
to help you answer three main questions
that make up the three main lessons
of this course. In lesson one,
we'll be answering, why is it important to
get the right color? In lesson two? How do
you figure it out, what you need to get help for? Whereas in lesson three, we'll be answering, how
do you figure it out? What kind of help
you need to get? All with the main purpose of finding the right
support system and team to grow your business to your own version of success. Now, if you're here to just lounge and listen to me speak, then you're in the wrong place. You need to be fully
aware that this won't be all talk from my end and
no action from yours. And that's why I've created a downloadable workbook
that you'll find in the resources section
where you have to feel your answers and ideas, concept during each lesson. And that's not just you also
have to walk on a project. I specifically tailored
it to help you visualize the right help for a specific problem you are
facing in your business. And the best part about
this workbook and Project is that
they can and should be done every time you're
considering getting any help in your
entrepreneurial journey. With that, I'm excited
for us to begin. Let's jump into it.
2. Why you need help: In this video, I'll be
answering the question, why is it important to
get the right help? And I'll also be
showing you that the right help doesn't just
mean employing people. Now a big part of running
a successful business, whatever success means to you, is having the right
entrepreneurial mindset. And one major way of nurturing the right intrapreneurial
mindset is knowing and fully accepting. The two cannot, should not and will not do everything
on your own. You need and a half to get help to grow your business
to greater heights. And in your thinking, to be able to push your limits, you need to listen to
me very carefully. Please don't try to
be all things to all people or all parts of your business
or personal life. So be it trying to
running slowly or just loosening the range
on a specific aspect, you have to learn to assess each situation and see if
anyone better could do it. Yes, I know this is a
course about business, but I'm also bringing up
your personal life into this because you are more
than just your business. If you are overwhelmed
in your personal life, then your business will
surely struggle, right? So you have to consider getting helpful all aspects
of your life. And how do you go
about doing this? First and foremost, you
have to ask yourself, is it worth investing your
energy, doing it yourself? Wouldn't it be better if you
delegate it to someone else, thus giving you time for
what you will be better. By doing so you learn to focus on your strengths
and then gets helpful. The other tasks, whether you'd have to hire
somebody fluid time, outsource the task part-time, get an intern who
aren't experience, but be sure to give
them a stipend loop, get advice from an expert, or ask a loved one for help. As you can see, how
it doesn't only come in the form of paying
someone to do what task. Seeking advice or assistance
also counts as help, whatever form of help
you choose to get. I can assure you
that by doing so, you'll be able to
achieve your goals. Because identifying, sampling
to your strengths is an important part of getting
into the right mindset. If you're not up with
managing your businesses, social media or your alley
walk mornings mean that you don't have time to make breakfast for
your little ones. Ask, outsource, hire
dedicated to this task to others instead of
spreading yourself out to t. The best part of
delegating is that once you reach a certain
level of success, it will be an even more
incredible feeling when you get to share it with all those who helped
make it possible. With that said, I have an assignment for you
in your workbook, which you can find in
the resource section. You'll have to analyze
why exactly you need help and any fears you may have the stopping
you from getting it. In the first question
you'll be answering. Why do you need help in your business and in
your personal life? Temporal areas where
you feel overwhelmed, would you know that you're not the best fit to be
the one handling it. As this workbook is only for
your personal use and allow yourself to be as vulnerable
and honest as possible. The second question
you'll be answering, what are your fears if
you've got Didn't getting help in your business and
in your personal life. Remember, brutally honest. In the third question, you'll be answering what
hinders you from getting the right help in your business and in your personal life. The workbook assignment
for this lesson may seem quite simple
on the outside, but it forces you to dig deep
to figure out two things. One, why are you taking this
course in the first place? And whether you truly see the wealth of
getting the right help to what has made you from getting and
keeping the right help. Because it's all well and
good to take this course and know why and how you should
identify the right help. But I, you able to embrace this help when it comes
your way and sustain it. So to challenge yourself
with this assignment, with that said, let's head
on over to the next lesson.
3. What You Need Help With: In this lesson, we'll be
answering the question, how do you figure out what
you need to get helpful? To answer this, you need to
identify what your strengths, weaknesses, and
extended opportunities. And how do you do this? Well by conducting a good
old-fashioned swot analysis on yourself in both your
professional and personal life. What is the swot analysis? Well, swot is an acronym
that stands for strengths, which an internal weaknesses, also internal and opportunities and threats which
are both external. I'll take you through each one so you can better
understand them. Strengths. To help you understand
your strengths, picture yourself as a competitive product
in a marketplace. So imagine that you're an iPhone being sold in
an app called screw. A strength is an asset to you as a product and can be used to differentiate
yourself from others. So if you want an iPhone, it would be how you
are different from all the other iPhones
in the store. Now let's come back
to the real world. Your strength is how you
differentiate yourself from others when running
your business are in your plasma length. Now, examples of
strengths could be that in your personal life,
you are empathetic, whereas in your
professional life, you have strong project
management skills. Weaknesses. A thickness is a liability or
an area of opportunity for growth and is usually the best place to get
someone to help improve you, handle the issue for you. No weakness examples could be in your personal life
that you feel or others have told you that
you're not depended. Whereas in your professional,
you're disorganized. Not seeing that we've covered
the internal factors, that is strengths and weaknesses now to the opportunities
and threats, which are both external factors. When thinking about your
opportunities and threats, I always find it easier to
begin with the threats. Then as objectively as possible, judge your threats and
determined possible ways to overcome them and those
become your opportunities. Here's some examples. And entrepreneurial threat could be excessive government
bureaucracy. On the other hand, and interpret neural
opportunity you could identify that helps you
deal with the threat. Could be networking groups for enterpreneurs in your area. And from them, you can learn how they're handling to go
about the bureaucracy. A personal threat, on the
other hand, could be, let's say you have
family issues with a personal opportunity being that you have access to a good, familiar therapists that
can help your family. Now let me record show
that when analyzing your swot for your
personal and enterpreneur, if you need to do
it on yourself. And also get at
least two people you trust to do a swat
analysis of view. This way you can view
your swot objective and get a different perspective on things to cruise to realize. Now why is this important? This is because the problem with using a list of strengths and weaknesses that only you've compiled is that you'll have a biased opinion of yourself. You see most people think too highly or too little
of themselves. And if you're like me,
you somehow manage to do both at the same
time without saying, we all need a Sunday
board to help us gain clarity and get closer
to the truth about ourselves. And that's where other people's
opinions come in handy. As you'll see in your workbooks, you'll not only have to do a
SWOT Analysis on yourself, but you also have
to get others in your professional
and personal life to give the objective opinion. Or, you know, I know this
exercise can be quite tough, so I encourage you to
enjoy the journey, minimalistic and objective, but don't be so hard on yourself when it comes to the weaknesses and the discounts
that you may find. Because in the next lesson, we'll be looking at
how you figure out what kind of help you
need to deal with them. With that said, let's get
into the next lesson.
4. The Help you Need To Get: Hi there. Now in this lesson we'll
be answering the question, how do I figure out what kind
of help and need to get? And we'll be using two strategies
to help you answer it. Opportunity costs
and help analysis. Let us begin with an
opportunity cost. After you've conducted
your swot analysis, you need to consider
the Help you would need to deal
with the weaknesses. If you're facing either on
a long or short-term basis. That's what opportunity
cost comes into play. Opportunity cost is
usually an economic term, but it's a valuable concept for considering your weaknesses. The idea is pretty simple. Given a limited
set of resources, opportunity cost represents
what you lose out on when you choose to spend
your resources on one alternative over another. Let the record show that
business resources are the components that are business needs in
order to do business. This could be Monday
time employees walking, space, equipment, etc, etc. Now that we're on the same page, let me give you
an example of how opportunity costs when
choosing which resource to usable by another
and how that helps you figure out what type
of help you should get. Let's say you have lack of sufficient sales
ability and lack of sufficient bookkeeping
ability listed in the weakness column
of your swot analysis. But unfortunately, you
cannot have both tasks yourself because you have
unlimited amount of time. And on the other hand, you cannot pay for someone
to help you with both tasks because you have
unlimited amount of money. What you will then
have to decide is based on the
limited resources, that is time and money. Which task will you be able to hire someone
to help you with? The opportunity cost
of that is that you will have to do the
other task yourself. It could be that because you despise all aspects of sales, have some basic
bookkeeping knowledge and identified a free
online booking costs to sharpen your skills, you are willing to handle
the bookkeeping for a year until your business can
afford to hire someone? Yes. If you are getting help
to better your skill, but it has helped
that will only use up your time and not your money. The opportunity cost of deciding to handle the
bookkeeping yourself is that you will not
have enough time to learn to better your
sales skills, right? So with that said, you
will have to spend your other limited
resource money to hire someone to handle it. Now that you're fully aware of the importance and
benefits of getting help. And you've identified by
analyzing opportunity costs, which task you'd get, what type of helpful
The Help analysis is? What will help you identify the right help to deal
with the task at hand. So what exactly is
the health analysis? While it is a set of
questions you have to answer, let's say you're trying to determine the right
person to hire. The questions you
have to answer would be detailed job
description of the task. You need to be done. Skills, strengths, and
personality of the person, where to find them? Well they belong or short-term
specifying timelines. How much would you pay them? What additional benefits
apart with you offer? What will they require
to do their job? So be technology information, additional staff, etc,
etc, and their costs. What should the output be? So for example, number of
plants they bring in, profit, they should generate,
the business goal should help you
achieve etc, etc. As you can see, by
taking the time to correctly answer all
these questions, you'll be able to figure out what exactly the right
person needs to do, what characteristics
they should have, where to find them, how to keep them when
you do find them. And most importantly, what you need to ensure that they
can help you efficiently. And please note that
you can also use this Help analysis for
other forms of health, not just hiring someone. Let's take the example
of getting a mentor. You can still until the
questions by looking at detailed description of the
mentorship you need skills, strengths, and personality
of the person, where to find them. How often or long you
need the mentorship, specifying timelines, how much you will
pay them, if at all. How could you be of
benefit to them too? So maybe you have a skill or
some knowledge they require, what they will require to
mentor use of technology, time, etc, and their costs. And lastly, what should the
output of their help be? For example, connections
that they made offer you? So as you can see, you can slightly adjust
the questions to fit the type of help
you looking for. As long as you ensure
that the core of the question is left
intact with that seed, you have a section in the
workbook where you can conduct the
opportunity costs and help analysis on
all the weaknesses you indicated in
your swot analysis. And that's not just it. This causes project. I have prepared for you a practical exercise
that will help you solve any issue in your business using the opportunity costs
and help analysis. So let's head there now.
5. Project Details: For this course project, you will be practically implementing what you have
learned in lesson three, opportunity cost and
the health analysis. Now I chose this project not only because
it forces you to look at health as not just hiring people to do it for you, but it can also be getting
help to improve your skills. This project also helps you
figure out what you need. I will give to those you
do decide to hire white to ensure that you attract and keep the right help to
grow your business. Okay, Let's get into it. The first step will
be to identify to actual problems in your
business that you are struggling with and
that you have limited resources to get the same
help for both of them. It can be money, so maybe you can't afford
to pay for both tasks, time, space, etc, etc. The second step will be to conduct the opportunity costs by deciding which one of the two with you Get Help 200 yourself. So for example, do a course
on Get mentors to advise you. And which one would you get
someone to handle it for you. The third step,
you are to conduct the Help analysis to figure
out detailed job description, skills, strengths,
and personality of the person helping you
where to find them? Will they be long or short
term specifying timelines. How much would you pay them? What additional benefits
of parts do you offer? What will they require
to do their job? So be technology, information, additional staff,
etc, and their costs. What should the output be? So for example, number of plants they should
bring in, Prophets, they should generate
the business goal they should help you
achieve, etc, etc. Lastly, you should upload a document with
your answers onto the project gallery for
me and the other students to give a comment and
share with you more ideas. Now because I have your back, you will find a project
example in the resources area. Additionally, at the end of
the project description text, you will find a list of online articles that will
help you with this project. Remember that you're only
conducting this exercise on your business and not
on your personal life. And let the record show that there are no perfect answers. All you have to do
to successfully complete this
project is to ensure that your answers are as
detailed and honest as possible. Remember that this
is an exercise that isn't just
for this project, but that you will use throughout your
entrepreneurial journey when you are thinking of
getting any form of help. So download the project example and start walking on yours. I can't wait to see where discoveries you make
through this exercise. Now let me to the next video for a recap of everything
you've learned.

were answering, why is it important to
get the right hill? We looked at the importance of getting the right
help and talked about the different types of health in your
workbook assignment, you have to dig deep and answer questions that force
you to analyze. It is vital for you
and your business. And what may hinder you from getting and sustaining
the Help you may get. In lesson two, we
were answering, how do you figure it out? What you need to get helpful? Here we conducted
a SWOT analysis on your personal and
entrepreneurial journey. In your workbook, you have
to conduct a SWOT analysis on yourself and have a
trusted few to analyze you, so you may get biased feedback. In lesson three,
we were answering, how do you figure it out? What kind of help
you need to get? We looked at using opportunity costs and
the health analysis to figure out what kind of help you need and how to
secure seat help. The exercise in
the workbook will make you do precisely that. Now that you're all
done with the course, It's time to walk
on the workbook if you're already working
on it as we went along, I want you to go back and review your answers to condemn
any new ideas who have. Also don't forget to post your project in the
project gallery. Remember that there are
no perfect answers and back to successfully
complete this project, all you have to do is to
ensure that you answer all the questions as detailed
and honest as possible. And just like with a workbook, the project is an exercise that isn't just for this course, but it is an exercise
