1. Introduction: Hey guys, my name is Kate and I had been painting with her together for five years. You can see more of my creativity on my Instagram page. This is my nickname. Don't forget to subscribe. And today I made you what ls and we will learn how to draw this c. This lesson is suitable for both beginners and advanced artists. In this lesson, you will learn how to bend the sea using water column. I will show you how to grow they see with minimum pencil drawing. How to work in retina technique, how to draw it with clean water. How Turn contrast helps create volume, and how to add unnecessary octants. Read whitewash. 2. Step 1: pencil drawing & wet on wet technique: The pencil drawing is very simple here, and rho three horizontal lines. The first is the horizon line. This second line is a line of white form and the top o the wave. And the third line is the line of the darkest wave. The rest I will paint with water column. This lines are enough to draw the scene. First. I always prepare pains before drawing to do these as slightly with the water column, a dripper drop of clean water into the blue shades that I will use. I will work in wet in wet technique. This technique assumes that we will paint on a wet suface so the gallows mix more smoothly with each other and the water, garlic and blow beautifully, emphasizing the texture of the paper. So first, I read the whole sheet with clean water. I start drawing from this guy first, I take cobalt and paint over the top area with this column and make the column more saturated since iteration was lost due to the rescue phase. So the paper. Then I take a bright blue and draw a line along the horizon. It is important to take very intense Karla and you should have more pigment than the water on your brush. Near the horizon line, the colour of the sea is darker. So I didn't degas and once again draw a thin line along the horizon line. Also with these neck collar, I draw some lines below, so we begin to draw waves already at the first stage. Further below this horizontal line, I paint using the bright blue collar. But I add a little more water here, since this C is the least saturated in the foreground. Now, I gradually add more saturated blue collar to the foreground. Notice I do using points strokes. I constantly look at the reference and I add more saturated color only where I see the darker blue spots. I drive the brush with the napkin and remove some of the band in the middle of the sheet. When the branch is dry and clean, it absorbs the paled. I always use this technique if I need to fix something in my work. Now, I draw the darkest part of the wave and mixing with the bright blue paint, I leave a white line. This is the form on the top of the wave. And I'll draw with this dark color and the form. I paint over all the space up to the foreground. And now I start to draw the movement of the water to do these and make strokes that the repeat the movement of the wave. Also in order to increase the contrast between the form of the wave and the shadow. I, again, Ed. And the border with the white part. 3. Step 2: small ripples: Now I remove some other colour as the top of the wave. To do this, I use a clean dry brush to wash out excess column with a circular movements or the brush I wipe excess color from paper. It is important to step in time and not to spoil the paper. While the baby still with, I begin to draw the movement of the water in the foreground. Again, I add sum into those strokes using dark blue. And with the rest of the band on leverage, I begin to draw a small ripples in the water to do these adores. Short horizontal strokes in echo took manner. 4. Step 3: drawing with clean water: Paper has already started to dry, but it is still slightly with now, it is best to start painting with clean water. For this technique, it is important to catch the right state of the paper. I take Leno had brush and start making random strokes with the TPP other brush. This leaves light lines that perfectly repeat the drawing of the water. Where I see large white spots with foam on the reference. Instead to remove the pain, notice that after each brush stroke, wipe them brash, agree then they can continue to bend to with clean water. I take a flat clean, wet brush and begin to wipe off the paint using horizontal strokes. I constantly look at the reference to wash the band only where I see the light of Pat's. Notice that I remove the paint song, that I keep, the horizontal strokes of a dark blue color between it. For drone waves, it is important to convene the light color of light and shadow. Now I start to draw the movement of the wave here, the strokes that to be vertical. I wish other paint until the middle of the wave. And then the foam. We have the darkest part of the wave where we no longer see the water pattern due to the shadow. Okay. Okay. 5. Step 4: white gouache: Now with this semi dry brush and didn't digger, Karla and pain small waves in the background. Dry everything with a hair dryer. Now, I take the garage with a grass. I will enhance the contrast between light and shadow. Better. They want to batter. I start with the foam and the topo the Wave really thick layer without they didn't walk them at bay and with watch along the border over foam and shadow. And using a Bristol brush, I spraying wash to add a splatter effect. With the remains of paint, I draw the white lines or the wave in the foreground. It is very important to constantly look at the reference, and it is important to draw only the lines that you see on the photon. It is better to draw a few more lines, but correctly then try to draw everything and get confused. It can be difficult at first and it is normal. But over time, you will become more and more proficient in this skill. I bench shake aligns with the tip of the branch, a bigger brush as far away from the base as possible. So the SREB strokes on nature. Okay. Right. And also some vertical wide lines, those are dark but over wave wants to fall. I see on the left side. So z o.
