1. Class Intro: What's up, everybody. Welcome to another step
by step tutorial, Amir. And today, I'm going
to teach you how to draw supersan Vagira
from dragonb Z. In this class, I'm going to
teach you how to draw Vagira crossing his arms with
his supersan hair. And for this tutorial, what we are going to use
is an HB two pencil, some inking pens, and
alcohol based markers. So without further ado,
let's go down to business.
2. Drawing and Inking Vegeta : So today, we're going
to learn how to draw super sand vegeta from the upcoming Dragonbt
super movie Boley. Before we start, if you'll
check the description box, you can see all the materials I'm using for this tutorial. As you can see, I drew
a perfect square. Each side is false intermters
but you can draw it in any size you want to make sure to use a suitable paper size. So this is going to
be a frontal pose. We're going to draw vegeta with cross hands and probably going
to add an asom later on. So first, I'm going to start by drawing the wrinkles
between the eyes. Then we are going to
draw the eyebrow. As you can see, I'm drawing
one line down and then go all the way up and it gets
thicker towards the edge. Next, we are going to draw the I simply by
using three lines. Make sure to draw
them diagonally, and we'll draw the bottom
line with a curve. I'll indicate the bump
above the eye and then we'll draw the cheek
marks just like that. Next, I'm going to
place the pupil at the center slightly
to the left side, and I'm going to do the same
process for his right eye. I'm going to add some wrinkles just to make it look
more pissed off. Next, we are going
to draw the nose, and I'll simply do that
by drawing seven lines. And this will be
our shaded area. Add some more wrinkles and
then we're going to draw the mouth really close to the
nose with a very tiny gap. As you can see, I raised
his lip to the right a bit. Awesome. Now, we are going to
draw the shape of his face. And we'll indicate his hairline just by drawing the letter. Next, I'm going
to draw the ears. So first, I'm going to start by drawing the
shape of the ears, and then when I got
the overall shape, I can add the details. We'll do the same for the
left side, and if you want, you can use a ruler to keep
the right proportions. Okay, so now we can
focus on his hair. But first, I'm going to draw two curves just to
indicate his neck. Next, I'm going to draw
two spikes on each side. Then I'm going to draw this
guideline to help me keep the right proportions and just add the rest of the spikes. Once we are done with that, I'm going to add some random
lines from side to side, and I'm going to do that with
the direction of the spike. Awesome. Now we can
move on to the torso. First, I'm going to draw the neck muscles
and the trichia. Then I'm going to draw his traps simply by drawing two curves. Now, what I want to do is again, draw the shape of the torso and then add
in all the details. I'm going to start with
the line of the chest, two circles to indicate the shoulders and two curves
to indicate the back. Now I'm going to draw
the straps of his armor. We'll draw the chest muscles. And again, I'm going to
draw the shape of his arms. I want him to cross hands. And now we can continue
with the details. So I'm going to zoom in a bit and we'll add some
details to the straps. Next, we'll add some thickness to his armor, just like that. And now we can move on
and refine his arm. So I'm going to start by drawing the shoulder muscles,
then the bicep, the tricep, and the forearm. I'll do the same
for the left side. And now we can also
add his gloves. Awesome. So now we
simply draw the rest of the armor and
indicate his pelvis. Oh, and don't forget
to draw his color. Awesome. Before we continue, if you notice I made his
shoulder width a bit narrow by 2 millimeters
or something like that, take that into account, and now we can move on
to the inking process. So what I'm going to do is I'm
going to use 0.1 and 0.05. That's the size of
the inking pens. I'm going to use 0.1
for the body and 0.05 for the face and the hair, just because I want to be
more precise in that area. In the inking process, what you want to do
is rotate the page, so you have your
natural hand movement and we'll continue
once we are done. Okay. So once we are done, I'm going to take the
notorious charcoal eraser and get rid of all the lead. I'm also going to use the
exquisite eraser stick for those stubborn area and make sure to clean very
well because if you don't, you might smear it
on later on with the copic macros and
ruin your precious tie.
3. Coloring Vegeta : Okay, so once it's
clean and shiny, we can start using
the Copic markers. Copic markers are
alcohol based markers, which means they can
blend very well. If you'll check your
top left of the screen, you can see the exact number
of copic I'll be using. If you don't have copic markers, you can just use color
pencils or you can just shade with your
regular HB two pencil. To start by coloring
is battle soot, just going to fill
this entire area with first brush strokes
in the direction of the shape and then
I'm going to use the same marker and simply
add one more layer, and that way, I can
create the shade. Now, the light
source in this case, will come from both sides just because I want to add
an awesome aura later on. That means that the middle
area will be darker. Next, I'm going to
use a darker blue, and I'm going to add some
nice shade right there. I'm going to blend those colors
using the brighter tone, and I'm going to do the same
process for his upper body. As you can see, it's
very important to color with the
direction of the shape. That way it adds more volume to the shape and it
doesn't seem flat. Again, after I'm done
with the first layer, I'm going to use the
same alcor and add some shading then
I'm going to use the darkest tone for the darkest areas and we'll do some blending to
create a nice harmony. And what I'm going to do
next is use a brighter blue, and I'm going to
add one layer of it just to create a nice
harmony with the colors. Awesome. So this is the look
I'm going after, and I'm going to do
the same process for his right arm and for the
chest and the neck muscles. Awesome. So once we are
done with this battle suit, we can move to the armor. I'm going to start
with some gray purples and just feel the
light shaded areas. Next, I'm going to
use a bit darker tone for the shaded areas. I'm going to add the dark
stone with a very minimal use. We'll do some blending, and then we can move on
to the yellow areas. So I'm going to start with Y 11, just fill this entire area. Then I'm going to use Y 21
that's buttercup yellow. And finally, I'm going
to use Y 26 must deal. We'll blend it all and I'm gonna do the
same for the straps. And I almost forgot
about the gloves. So just use the
purple gray again. And we are done with his torso and now we
can focus on his face. So I'm going to start with
E 51 that's milky white. Like I said before,
the light source will come from both sides. That means that the middle
area will be darker. So I'm going to take
the darker tone. And as you can see, I'm not coloring the areas
that sticks out more, for example, the
bumps above his eyes, the cheeks, and the bottom lip. Next, I'm going to use the darkest tone
that's sent colour, and we'll add all
the tiny details. Now I'm going to use E 51
again, the brightest color, and I'm going to add one
more layer to the mid area. Next, I'm going to use a
bright purple gray to indicate some shade under his eyebrows with colors his
eyes using green. And I'm going to use
the colourless vendle to create a nice highlight, and I'm simply gonna do
that by soaking the ink. Next, I'm going to
colour the eyebrows. And I'm going to add some
shade just like that, and we blend it in
the brightest stuff. Okay, so now we can color hair. I'm going to demonstrate how
to color one spike of hair, and then I'll do the
same for the others. So first, I'm going
to start with Y 11. I'm going to fill
this entire area. As you can see, again, I'm coloring with the
direction of the shape. Next, I'm going to use Y 15
or you can either use y08. And finally, the
darkest tone will be YR 23 with a minimum use. We'll finish it off with some blending and this is the
result we are going after. So like I said, I'm going to do the same process for
the rest of the spikes, and then we'll
continue with the v. Awesome. So now we can
move on to the arrow. So first, I'm going to take my yellow colored pencil
and I'll draw the shape of the arrow simply
by drawing lots of lines right next to each
other in the form of a flame. Don't be afraid to
add some energy on his body that will sit well. And if it's not strong enough, meaning the color, you
can add one more layer. Of some once we are
done with that, I'm going to take
a yellow pastel, soft yellow pastel,
a piece of paper, and I'm simply going to smear the yellow pastel on
the piece of paper, and I'll use the
remains to colour the alla using my
finger, as you can see. I'm also implying some
pastel on his body, and that way he gets
a nice yellow tint. Now I'm going to use the
charcoal eraser just to soak some of the pastel
to have some blank areas. To make the edges more clear, I'm going to use the
color pencil again and add one more layer with
a slightly darker tone. And all that's
left to do is take the notorious charcoal eraser
and do some cleaning work. We. Everybody. So this is how you draw the Prince
of Science Vegeta Sama, I hope you guys and girls
enjoyed this tutorial. Let me know what you think in the comment section.
That's it for today. Thanks for watching, everybody. Keep being awesome, and I'll
see you on the next video. Why?
