1. Introduction: Hello everyone. Welcome to our sketching
and characterizing course based on real-life faces. Lots of famous cartoon and
animation characters are pictured and sketch based on a real human face or an animal. If you are looking for a
course that you can learn the steps to characterize
a real face pretty well. This is the one for you. In this course. I'm going to
teach you this sketching and characterizing step-by-step
alongside coloring them. In the present course, we characterize based on
nine real photos and faces. And at last, we
completely characterized six of them and color them
with colored pencils. You would understand
the different steps of a scheduling and coloring
a character very well. And of course, you would
be able to do it based on real faces on your own
after this course, I hope you enjoy
it and good luck.
2. Tools needed: Hello to all of my
dearest friends. We are here again with another
tutorial course with you. In this course, we're
actually going to create some more sketches. Yet we are going to create
these sketches with the original picture, an image. In this part, I want
to introduce you with the required tools for our
course. We can start it. As all of the courses, we need pencils for our work in order to
create our primary sketch. And therefore we can develop it. I advise that you choose B, two or B pencils. Because if you use
these kind of pencils, you can lighten your
primary sketch easier. We need B-series of pencils. And then we are going to use different
kinds of are erasers. Again, I suggest that
you have ectoderm racer. Also. You should definitely have
TO eraser in order to erase parts that you don't want to take your hand
inside of the work. Therefore, you would
not make it dirty. You can actually erase
everywhere with this eraser. Next thing that you need is that you should have two
kinds of erasers. In addition to them. You can have a pencil eraser, a rough pencil eraser, which has a brush
at the end of it. Because this way, after
you've erased your work, you can just clean it with the brush that you have
at the end of the pencil. So generally it would be easier for us to use these
kinds of pencils. But if you don't have
that and you cannot, you know, get it. You can also choose a brush. I've chosen a big brush, but you can choose any
size of your brushes. After you've erased the place, you can use these brushes to take off the extra
parts of the eraser, off the cardboard or paper in order to keep your
work clean and neat. So it will make the
work so much easier for you and your hand or your
work would not get their T. We also going to need feathers. He can get any kind of
failures that you want. There's no difference
in the size of it or the brand of it. Then you can also have an
etiquette for your work. If you wanted to
start your work, you can use your acid and you definitely need
some carbon for it. Based on your answer, do you can get its
requirements as well? You should also
have a sharp nerve because you'll
definitely need it. Especially when you're
working in with pencil or even when you're
working with colored pencils. Another thing that I
should tell you is that your colored
pencil should be, should include our main colors. The brand of it doesn't
matter that much. But you should pay
attention that you would have the main colors. You should try and create
some soft lines with them. I mean, the brand of
your pencil should be in a way that you can
create soft lines with them. Well, these are the main colors
that you definitely need. But it's better to have 24
colors or more than that. Because this way you would
actually work easier. And you don't have to create the other colors
all by yourself. Just makes your work easier. Just the point is that
if your pencil is a short solution is
to use this tool. You can get these tools
from the stationary shops. This is actually
a pencil holder. You see if your pencil is a small and is short from
sharpening too much. You can put it in this
part and then you can hold your pencil. As a normal dc. Working with it would
be so much easier. So you would not have to
work with difficulty. If you have short pencils, you can definitely get
these pencil holders. Alright? You can use them. If European soil
gets shorter, small. Then another thing that
you would require is that if you just want to
sharpen the tip of your pencil, you don't want to
use a sharpener. You can use cutter to do that. Therefore, this way you can just work on the tip of
your pencil and sharpen it. As I'm showing you right now. You drag it until it gets
as sharp as you want. This is in case you wanted
to pop your pencil sharp. Yet you don't want to use a sharpener and you would
definitely need paper. That right now I'm
using a normal paper. You can either use
pencils which are raphe because we want to place colors on top of each other or we might
erase some parts. It's better to use thick papers, Not very thin ones. And it's better to play
something underneath your paper. Therefore, your
paper will not get ripped or would not get ruined. That's it. These were their
requirements and tools that you need
for this course. Gather them and let's start.
3. General form of face - initial illustration of the character's head: Hello, My dearest friends. We are back again with
another tutorial session. This time, we are
going to create a character based on the picture that we're
seeing right here. Okay, the first thing
that I should tell you is that we are going to create different
models and shapes and characters that can be
based on this picture. May surprise if you create
several ones from one picture. Okay, This picture
that we're looking at is actually our
reference picture. And we are going to create different types of how we
can characterize a picture. In here. If you pay attention, this is a phase which is not completely symmetrical and
it's a bit asymmetrical. That's why I've chosen
this phase because we can just be so creative on it. And we can have so many different styles
and creating our work. So we are going to actually use this asymmetrical feature of this photo to create our own
character in the best way. All right, I'm going to
start my work creating the skull. This way. I'll create this skull. Then after that, the jaw to my work. Thank you. I'll say that I'm
creating my face a bit more long and thin air comparing to my
original picture. Then I will add a
NIC to my work. I'm going to create my
hairstyle in a curly shape. I can have a more
attractive character. I would also want to
create the forehead on my character longer than usual. Alright. Now I will have the general shape for
my character's hair. This way. This is the general shape that
I'm going to create for my character. In this way. I'm going to create
my characters ear. Very, very simple. Just add them to my work. Although we're just seeing a little part of our ear
in our original picture. But I would want to create it. And then I will determine the placement of my
face components. Just as this. In this way. Just determine the placement of my characters,
eyebrows, and eyes. Then after that, I would determine the
placement of the nose. Obviously, I want to
create a longer nose. And then after that, I will create the placement
of my character's lips. Then we're going to create a bit of our
characters clothes. Nick. This way. Then. The shadow which has been placed on the throat like
this, below the chin. This is the general
shape of her face.
4. Eyebrows and eyes of a man's face to illustrate the character: Hello, love my dearest friends. We're going to continue our
work and our character. First of all, I'm
going to exaggerate this asymmetrical
shape of her eyebrows. I'm going to do this. Well, first of all, I create this central
guideline in this way. And then I will create my
character's eyes and eyebrows. It's correct that they've
created this line. But because I want to create
some asymmetry to my work, I just create and one of
them a bit more above, and I'll create the other one
in a normal way. This way. Working on our foreheads lines, we are actually emphasizing on this eyebrow that's
coming a bit outward, which is a little
bit more above. We are exaggerating
this feature of it. We'd creating the
lines of the forehead. This way. I'll just do it. Then. I will create her eyes. Now, if you pay attention, character does not
have a very big eyes. We can create her
eyes very small. Because if you pay attention, the eyes are not that big. And just like this, we can work on the eyes. As we've said before. Wherever we want to
work on characters, we can exaggerate things. We create both eyes here. This way. Then we would work on the
darkness inside of the eye. If you pay attention, you can see the lines of the forehead on
this place as well. And we've reviews them
in this area as well. Actually, this frontal shape is so similar as what we
can see in the picture. Just created the hair a
bit more current lier. Then they've created this
eyebrow a bit more above two, and we've exaggerated on this asymmetrical
shape of the face. Well, that's it.
5. Nose and lips to illustrate the character's head: Hello, my dear friends. We are going to continue
our work on our character. This time. I want to work on my
character's nose. You should consider that. You see, my character's
nose is so big, especially on the
tip of the nose. It's very chubby
and it's very big. Therefore, as usual, I should use some
exaggeration on this area. Therefore, I will create
a very big nose for her. I can also make it more round. Therefore, I work would
be much more cuter. Then I will create the
bones of the nose. Bone lines for denotes. Then I will work
on the nostrils. I'll create them. In this way. Actually applying more
exaggeration in my nose area, my nasal area, actually
applying more exaggeration. Then we have the lines
of the forehead. And this is about the nose. I wanted to work on my
character's mouth and lips. Well, on the contrary
of the nose, I will create her mouth a little smaller than usual and normal. But you can also
do it wise versa. I mean, you can go
wild and go creative, create a smaller nose
or bigger mouth. You can do. It totally
depends on you. You can try different
procedures. You can try it in so
many different ways. And then you can
choose which one is funnier based on your own taste. And which one is better? I'm just doing this, but and that doesn't
mean you should come and do the exactly same
as I'm doing right now. You can just test and
try different methods and different shapes
and then you can choose which one would be funnier
and cute are for you. I'm just doing it based
on my original picture. Therefore, you can see how
you can proceed your work. Definitely, I will create different methods
and shapes for you. I will work on the shape of
the hair a little like this. And I just work on the hair a
bit more to make it busier. This is a first phase that we've started to work on based
on our original model. Then we obviously
want to work on the neck and create a shadow
on this side of the face. I mean, kind of a shading. Not necessarily shadow. But we can actually add some
more darkness to this area. Depends on you. If you want, you can add these shadings if
you don't want, you can eliminate
them from your work. I chose to add them.
6. General face shape to illustrate the character's head: Hello, My dearest friends again. We are going to
continue our work. Our original picture. Based on our original picture, we will make our work
a bit more comedic. We just make it a bit further
from our original picture. We want to make it more comedy. We want to see if
you just play with the face components a little, how would it look like? I started my work with
creating the skull, obviously as usual. My characters jaw. As you can see, first, I will create my work a bit chubby like our original photo. In this way, we have our
initial primary sketch. Then we'll create the neck. Then after that, I will
create the shape of the face. And in order to create
the shape of my face. And based on the
picture that I have, I will just deform
some pictures that I have from this that
you're saying right now. I mean, in order to make my
work a bit more cartoony, just get it out of
its ordinary shape. Because we want to create
some changes into our work. I will create my
character's hair. This way. Then my character's hair. If you're paying
attention, short. We are actually trying to show this short sides of the hair and this Chris aren't shapes that she has on the hair. We would just try to exaggerate them and bring them
into our work. For example, in here we can
see it more. Currently. We're just going to create these curlies style in
big waves and curls. You can also apply some exaggeration and variety
in your character's hair. Even when you are working
based on a picture? That totally depends on you. Let me just bring
my work did this side a bit so you
can see it better. Then I will just create the
shape of the hair like this. Then I can create the ears. I will bring them a little
bit out of the hair. This way. If you pay attention, we cannot see our
characters ear too much. Yet. I can create a
little bit of it. We will bring it
out of the hair. We can bring it
completely underneath the hair and cover
it completely. This is all your choice. And you can choose either
to have them, not to. This way, I will create
my characters cooler. Now I tried to create the shading and the
shadow on the throat. And then after that, I won't want to
create my guidelines. The main one would be
here and then I would create the guidelines
for my face competence. I can easily determine their placement
with the guidelines that I'm creating right now. My character's nose
and of course, her mouth. Here we are.
7. Face components to illustrate the character's head: Hello, my dear friends. We are going to continue
our work on our character. In this part, we determine the
placement of the eyebrows. He should consider the shape
of our characters eyebrows. You should also keep this shape. You can add it to your work or you can create them normally. Because this is one of the prominent points of
my character's face, I will add it to my character. Now I will create my
character's eyes. I'll create them a bit
more in the corner. A bit more circularly. Just as this would also create the
other eye as well. Just in this way. And then I will create
inside of the eye. Just says this. And I will continue my work. Then I will add the lines
at top of my islet, at the top of my upper eyelid. Actually. Then I work a bit more inside of my
eyes in this way, which you can clearly see. Then I would move on to
my character's nose. Differently. I will
create that as well. You're saying this. We are actually creating
different shapes of the face. We'd only one shape of the head. I mean, we are creating
different faces, different characters
with the same shape, with the same general shape
of the head and face. And we're creating ebbed, funnier and more comedic phase and shape from what
we can see in the picture. I would also create
my character's lips. I will create the lips small. In this way. You see how much different it is
from our original character, yet it has the same elements
as our original character. The same time. Therefore, I'm saying you can create so many
different characters. The reference of
only one picture. And you can be so much
creative in this. You can create so
many varieties. After we've shaped our
character like this, you can see it even looks younger comparing to our
first character that we've created and comparing
to our original picture. You see In the second time
we've made it even younger. You can do all of these to
your character and made her or him much more attractive. Even with less lines and
without any extra work. You can create very
different face comparing to the previous one, debts you've created yourself. You can have different models
and different characters from only one reference
picture. Like this.
8. General form of cartoon face for character illustration: Hello two alone, my
dearest friends. We are back again
with an tutorial. In this session, we
are going to continue our work on photo. I mean, we're going to create more characters from our
natural and real faces. You want to know how we can characterize these
kinds of pictures. This time I want to create a more cartoony and
funnier character. In order to do that, I will just change
the angle of my face. If you pay attention, my face is looking this way. Then I will create my face in the completely
opposite and Glenn View. I start from creating
the skull as always. Then move on to my
characters draw. And I'll also create
that as well. Then determine the placement
of the neck and her clips. Here we go. I would also determine the angle of the face
as I've changed it. Because I want my
work to be more different and I wanted
it to be funnier. Just fun to add this spice
of creativity into my work. Therefore, they cannot have
a fun, cute character. I'm using this method to apply some more creativity in my work. First, I'll create the
general shape of the hair. Then I will add the shape that I
want to her, her. In some parts I want to create
some more specific shapes. Apply what? I mean, we should apply the
main features and aspects of our original photo, but we are going to make
it funnier and cartoony. I will create this
curly hair for her. I can just change the
details as much as I want. Then after I've created
this curly hair for her, I'm going to use
my guidelines in order to work on the
parts of her face. First of all, I would
work on her ears. I just consider cute little ears for her that would
look like this. Then I will create the
Gino's shape for her face. This way. Now if
you pay attention, as well as we've changed the direction and the
angle of view of the face, we have also exaggerated
some parts of the face. For example, in this area on
the cheekbones, I came out. But as you can see, our original picture
has some soft lines. It doesn't have very
prominent cheekbones. But I did it in my
character in order to make it more fun than I will determine the
placement of the eyebrows, eyes, nose, and
obviously her mouth.
9. Eyebrows and eyes of a cartoon face to illustrate the head of a character: Hello again, my dearest friends. We're going to continue
our work on our character. Now, I am going to determine the placement of the
eyebrows and eyes. I will create very funny I
ever house for my character. This way. While if
you look at it, our characters eyebrows
would look like this. They have actually
a strong curve. But here, because we want to
have a very fun character, I want it to be more cartoony. Fifth, change the shape
of the eyebrows again. Little. Of course, we've upgraded. We've created them
in a funny or shape. I wanted to work on my my eyes with the
shape of an old wall. I mean, I'm creating Oh, walls at the shape of my ice because I've
turned my face AT UDL. The left part is closer to
us and therefore it would be bigger and the right
side is a bit further so it would look smaller. Then I would want to
work inside of the eyes. I will create eyelashes
for my character. Just because I wanted to be funnier. In this way. I will move on to create the
darkness inside of my eye. I would actually apply some
lines for below my eyes. Just trying to create our
character as fun as we can. And we just give a special
characteristics to her. This is the most important thing in the work that we're doing. Then these are her eyes and I just wanted to create
some eyelashes for her. This way. Then for her ears. I would also add some details. I will create some earrings
for her to look cuter.
10. Nose and lips of cartoon face to illustrate the character's head: Hello. To allow my dearest friends, we're going to continue
our work on our character. This sign. We are going to
create her nose and then hair, lips. For her nose. I will just create
very fun nose. I would also create
nostrils for her. And then the tip of the
nose will be added here. Then I move onto
her mouth and lips. Just as this create her lips. I create a small lips for her. This way. Then. I can also add some more lines around her mouth at the both
sides of her mouth. Then I would just improve
my work like this. I'm just adding the
final details to her. As you can see, we've
created a character, a cartoony character like this, based on a picture like that. We've tried to create
our work funnier. This is a sample of
characterizing a picture. I can even add some more lines here below her lips
to create the chin. Because I want to show them
my character is a bit chubby. I can also show her chin with
some lines. In this way.
11. General form of head, eyebrows and eyes for character illustration: Hello, My dearest friends. I'm back again with another
tutorial session for you. And in this session, we are going to create a
character based on this picture. We want to make the
details of our face more prominent and create
a cartoony character based on this picture. And we want to show that this character is a bit
mischievous and mean. We can easily do that with creating the
general shape of the face. This time, I want to create
a more cartoony character, which is a bit more
mischievous and mean. With working on some of
her permanent features. First of all, I will create
my characters skull and jaw. In this way. Then I will
add the details of my face. How am I going to do this? Well, first of all, I see I mean, I look at my work generally. I see where I can
change these. Bill. I can't see my eyes and eyebrows are asymmetrical
and one of the eyes and eyebrows on the right
side are actually a bit more above comparing
to the other ones. They're a bit up her. First, we're going to
create our primary shape. Then we will determine the
placement of the eyebrows. Like this, a bit more above its usual and normal placement. Then we will create
the other eyebrow, the line that we've created. Then I will create my
character's eyes like this. Bit rid with a bit of
a space between them. And then I will create
them. In this way. I'm going to use the lines. I will use sharper lines for
my eyebrows and other parts. Because I want to show that
my character is mischievous. I can use sharper
lines to show that. I mean, as we've talked before, we can show the characteristics
of a character with creating special shapes
for the face parts. Now I want to show the
age of my character, which is obviously old. Then for this lines
above the eyelid, I will use crooked lines,
crooked and sharp. Then I would want to work
on inside of the eyes. And then I will get a help from my lines on the forehead to
create more details for her. In this way, I'm
continuing my work. I'm creating lines
for my forehead. Just as this.
12. Hair, nose and lips to illustrate the character: Hello, I love my
dearest friends. Going to continue our work
on characterizing our model. This time, I want to add the Harris style
to my character. For the front part of the hair. I will shape it in this way. I would have hair, hair in a different style
yet in a curly way. And then I went to move to the upper part to create
the hair almost completely. This way. I just
continue my work. Well, as you can see, we are proceeding our work. We've curly hair. Okay? Now I want to create
my character's nose. Then I will create it. First. I've determined
the part of it. I made it into simpler shapes. And now I'm just going to
create an induced fun way. I also create my nose a bit curb cut and not
completely astray. Therefore, my character would be even more
mischievous and mean. Because as I said before, here we are going to create a mischievous and
main character. Based on two characteristics. We are creating different
parts of the face. Then I would work on
my character's lips, which should be also crooked. Even her mouth is crooked. I just give it a special shape. Therefore, I can show my
character is not a good one, is not a nice character. Then some lines, I will
create my characters teeth. She looks a little like
Cinderella as a stepmother. Then I just add some
lines around the mouth and a curved line on the
chin as you've watched it. And I also create a little
of my characters ears. I just wanted to show
a little of them, not too much. From this model. They've created this character with different characteristics. Of course, create a more violent and mean and mischievous
character and face. We'd exaggerating or making some parts more different or even adding some
elements into our work. You see how that worked out.
13. General form of cartoon face for character illustration: Hello, My dearest friends. We are continuing
our tutorial work. This time. I want to create a character scatter phase
based on my real picture. Now for doing that, I start creating the skull. Joel, as always. Then the jaw would
be placed here. Then after debt. I see that. Prominent features
does she have in her face and we can
work on it actually. And we can make it into
a character better. Well, I can see that
she has some kind of asymmetrical eyes and eyebrows. This is one of the
features that I can use in my care counter. I can work on her nose or I can work on the shape of my
characters, skull or jump. Well, I'm going to use
two features here. And I'm going to exaggerate the, exaggerate them to create
a fun character from her. First of all, I would want to
work on my characters draw. I will exaggerate
that. This way. If you pay attention. As you can see, it got out a little
in this part. I will exaggerate it and
make it more prominent. Then also for this side, I'm going to do the same. I will continue my work
from this side as well. This way. Then F They're dead. I will create my
characters, Nick. Then. I would create the
shape of her hair. Some more exaggeration,
of course, because I'm creating
a Charaka better. I will create the shape of hair, hair it some more exaggeration
and a different shape. Then I come down to the
other part of the hair. I just continue my work. I'll do the same for this area as well. This way. I will have hair, hair. Then. I will even create a
bit of the ear on this side. From this site can
be shown this shape. Then I would want to work on
this opera part of the hair. Alright. I want to move on and create the
parts of the face. I'm going to work on him. This way. I will first determine the
placement of the parts. Create a bit of my
characters color. This way.
14. Cartoon face components for character illustration: Hello, loved my dearest
friends. We are here. We are continuing our
work on our character. This time I want to make
her a bit more like it. Caricature. Or better say more
like a cartoon. Creating. I want to use actually a
method which includes creating ovals and putting my parts of
the face inside that ovals. So I considered to be ovals. Then inside of them, I will determine the placement
of the eyebrows. This way. Then I would move on
to create the eyes. And I would actually work
on my character's eyes. Then I would move on to
create the other eyebrow. I will create that one as well. Then I will create the
other eye of my character. This way I can have her eyes. If you pay attention. I've created one of the
eyes a bit more above and the other one would be placed lower comparing to
the other side. Because we want to make
our character to look more cartoony and
like a character. Our original face
also have this, has this potential to place
the eyes in this position. As you can see. Then I will add some
more details to my work. I will darken this
upper line and then I can even create some
more lines below my eyes. Therefore, I can
show some wrinkles and I can give more
details to my characters. To give her some h, actually, even on her forehead, I can create some. Then obviously, I will work
on my character's nose. I can either create a fun, chubby, big nose for her. Or we can just eliminate
the element of exaggeration and you can make it a bit more normal
comparing to the face. Or you can exaggerate it and
create a chubby, fun nose. Then for her lips, I will have no exaggeration. I'll just create them
very simply like this. This would be my character. Here we have our character highest picture because
we've wanted to be more cartoony
character. Here we are.
15. General form of child's face for character illustration: Hello, again, majors, friends. I'm here and back again with another tutorial
session for you. In this session, we
are going to create a character based on this
picture that we're seeing here. We want to see what principles we should
go through in order to create a character from this picture and
throughout this picture. First, start with the features, prominent features, we see that our character has a
very biggest skull. Therefore, we tried
to transfer it on our paper by
considering a skull, showing it very
big and prominent. We are actually working
based on a real picture. Therefore, we can just make our work go forward. So much patients in order for us to have a very cute
and fun character. Started from our skull. Now, based on the
features of our baby, of our character face, we can exaggerate some parts. We can make some parts figure or make some
other parts of smaller. For making our character
even look cuter. I will use this
curve and its face. And I will show it more and bigger with more
depth, obviously. Then I will consider
bigger checks for it. In order to make it cuter. We will make it choppier, created with bigger cheeks. Then I will add my
character's chin to it. I can create small ears or
beak airs for my character, it depending on the
characteristics of it. And I've considered it an
ear and this type for it. We're going to have the original picture as
the base of our character, but we can definitely
work on the details. I mean, we are going to
keep the main features. We're going to exaggerate
the prominent features of it and maybe even change
some details of it. I will create my
character's hair. Then. I'm going to use a very random shape and style for the front
part of the hair. It just makes it look cuter. Now, I can see that my
character has very, very thin and narrow eyebrows. And her eyes, and her eyebrows
are very, very small. Well, we can do some
exaggeration on that as well. And create complete big eyes and big eyebrows
for our character. Or we can go completely
the other way. I mean, we can even
make them smaller. I want to make bigger eyes and eyebrows for my character
in order to make it cuter. Because this way it
would look much cuter. I'm going to determine
displacement of each face parts. And then I will start my work according to where I would want to place
each of the face parts. I'm going to use
my guidelines and a line for the direction
and the angle of my face. I'm going to use
the guidelines to create the different
parts of my face and also the angle and
the view of my face. Because we are
characterizing our picture. Well. We can easily change
anywhere that we want. We would not face
any problems at all. You can actually use
your own creativity and change your work in the
way that will be yours. Even. As you can see, my character's hands is
inside of her mouth. But I haven't created at all because even whenever
you felt like it, you can eliminate any parts of your picture or you can
add some more to them. There are no rules here, there are no most
and most note here. You should not fear at all. You should just go so
creative and go so while in order to create
your own character, in your own way, more creativity
and make it cuter.
16. Child face components for character illustration: Hello, My dearest friends. Well, we start our
work from here and we are going to work on our characters,
eyebrows and eyes. And with that, we are moving
our character forward. We can create our character
in the exact age that it is. The picture. Or even we can increase or decrease
our characters H. Again, it depends
on your own taste. We do as we like here. There are no limitations in
here and you should not be afraid in order to move your work or change
your work in any way. Because when you
actually do this, when you change your work a
little based on your picture, it actually makes your
creativity to increase. You can create cuter and
more different characters, which is basically
our goal here. Do not be afraid to be
creative or change things. I'm doing this based on
my original picture, but as you can see, I'm changing it in some levels. For example, I'm creating
my eyes even bigger in order to make my
character look cuter. I will also create some
eyelashes for my character, because my character
is eyelashes. Can be seen. Actually create
these eyelashes for my character to make
it look even cuter. Then I will consider this
light inside of my eyes, which is something that I always do in all
of my characters. Then I would create my nose based on the
character that I'm creating. I want to make, actually I can make a
chubby nose for it, or I can make it very small, teeny-tiny nose for it. Again, I say that totally, totally depends on you. And you should not be afraid. I told you should not put any
limitations for yourself. There won't be any problem. For your creations. I've chosen this
shape for its nose. But if you'd like, you can create them
wider than this. Or even thinner than this. No problems. As you can see, my character's mouth is open and it's hand is actually
its finger is inside of it. But because I want to show you how you can
eliminate effector, an element from your
original picture. I will eliminate his finger
here from his mouth. You can see you can do it and
you would face no problems. And it would look so cute with your own personal
touch and video, our own personal creativity. Do not forget that. I will create a mouth
for my character. Considered it for it. Then. Just like this, we can move on with our work. We can get even some
help from the lines. We can even create
our characters and create some more changes to it to make it
more fun and cuter. You can even create some of the lower eyelashes
for our character. That just makes it so cute. Just want to eat it up. Just added some more eyelashes. So the lower eyelids and
I went over the eyebrows. Just as this have done one type of characterizing
this cute picture based on our main
character. Like this.
17. Child cartoon face for character illustration: Hello, love my dearest friends. We are here working on another character
in another session. This sign, we are
going to create another character
from our model. And applying some changes to the general shape
and its features, I will create a new character
with the same model. First of all, as usual, I start with the school, the skull of our character, because it's a baby. It's not really old. This skull would be bigger. I will consider it while I'm
working on my character. Then I will add to draw to her. All right? Well, considering
that our character, Cute, big ticks, we can
actually exaggerate them. Or we can eliminate them. But because we want our
baby character to be cuter, we can actually
exaggerate this feature. We should definitely applied
to our primary sketch. And it would definitely
look way more cuter. Dressed like this. I will create a
chubby QT phase for my baby character. Here we go. I'm actually completing
the general shape of my head and face. All right. Now I want to create the shape of my character's
hair is also cute. According that it has
this curve on this area. I can also exaggerate
this as well. I can apply this for
my character's hair. Then obviously for the
front part of its hair. I can use some banks. Again obviously
to make it cuter. Then with some lines, I will actually improve my work. It can also do some more things. I mean, based on the features that you can
see in your original model, you can eliminate them or
you can exaggerate them, or you can even
decrease them a bit. You can also create the ear of your character in this shape looks like
a peanut, but it's cute. You can actually
create them like this. Everything, almost everything
depends on yourself. To know what you're going
to do with your character, to know what changes
you are going to make your character. This way, I will create
my character's eyes. Circularity way. Then I will consider
linearly eyebrows for it. Just dense. You can see. This way, I will
work on my eyes. I mean inside of my eyes. But all of it would
be a circle shape. I'm just going to show
you that you can have so many different shapes according to your
original picture. Then you can choose either
one of them that you like creating your character. Alright? Now, what I'm creating here is a completely
cartoony character. Animation. This was exactly my goal and
I'm reaching it right now. I work on my
character like this. And as you can see, my characters teeth
are also showing. I can exaggerate even this part. And I will then
apply it in my work. Well, I can create one over here and I can even create some of them on
the lower lip if I want, but I think this one is enough. But if I want, I can always do that. Again, I emphasize
that this totally depends on your own
personal tastes. As you can see, our character is going toward a completely if fantasy
add cartoony character. Therefore, we can apply anything in our work
and you can use your imagination why you're using base for your character. This is also a model. I mean, this is also
another model that you can create based on your
original picture.
18. General form of man face for character illustration: Hello my dear friends. We are back again with another
tutorial session for you. This session, I want to create a character based on this
picture in front of vein, we are going to create
different methods of characterizing and
different characters of one simple picture. Our goal is to reach very unique character and a very unique face with
using this picture. And we can use some
exaggerations and creativity in order to create our own new characters face. Yet it should have, it should still have the main
features of this picture. When you look at it, you can actually realize it's
the same person, but it would be more cartoony
or more characterized. Based on what I've
said right now. First of all, I would want
to create this skull. Then my characters jump. Well, you can create the face longer than
usual and normal. Or either you can make it wider. And all of these are actually
depends on what kind of design and what kind of shape you want to apply
on your character. I want to try this
method and this design. You can go and try any other designs that
looks interesting for you. That's your own very tasty. I'm just pushing you a little
guiding you through this. And I'm just giving you hints in order to turn on
your own creativity. As you can see, the face of
our character is a bit angry and we can actually exaggerate
that in our character. This is one of its
prominent features. We can either
exaggerated or not. Consider it at all, or even reduce it. You can do all of them. It depends on your
own personal taste. But doing these will
actually help you to have too many
different characters based on a simple face. Of course, according what you
choose for your character. I mean, the characteristics
you can defer this character. I will start my work
on my character. Then. We can consider the shape of the hair all cohesive
and the same way. Or we can just consider
this heart-shaped for it. For my character. I went to consider the style
of his hair all the same. And just the growth part of the hair would
be a semi-circle. As you can see. It goes a little bit above our skull. I will create my
hair in this way. Then. I will apply the eyes and the eyebrows. I mean, actually
I will determine the placement of the
eyes and eyebrows, also in the nose and a mouth. And last, all of them can
be done with my guidelines. All right, Here we go.
19. Eyebrows and eyes and ears of a man to illustrate a character: Hello, My dearest friends. We are starting our
work on a character. We want to create the
shapes of the, I mean, we are going to create the
face components on our work. Get some help from
the guidelines. I started to work. As you can see, our character is macho, maybe a little angry
and furious character. I just want to create him
more stiff and match it. And I wanted him to create, be created so soft. First I will create the
eyebrows like this, and I will create my eyes. The stock to the
eyebrows like this. As you can see in our picture. You can also see that I mean, because we want to show
that our character is angry, is a bit mad. We are going to use this
shape of our eyebrows. Then I'm going to work on
the other eye as well. I would work on it like this. Then they use some guidelines. We can check if our eyes are in the same place or
on a straight line. In this way. I will
bring my work forward, get my work forward. Now. According to my
characters, eyebrows. Also going to work on the nose. We can also create
some lines inside of the ears to create a general shape for
inside of our ears. This way. Then we would determine the
shape of the ears. We change them unless
they look like this. Then obviously we can bring decide of the
hair down a little.
20. The nose and lips of a man to illustrate a character: Hello, my dear friends. We are continuing our work
on our character here. And we are creating
our character's nose. It would just look like this. I will create some
nostrils for my character, therefore, it cannot be
seen in our original photo. However, while we are
characterizing this photo and we're not meant to create everything
that we see exactly. We are not copying the picture. I will create nostrils for my nose and I will
create it in this shape. Then I would move on to my character's lips
and I will create them looking like this. Because my character
generally looks angry. I will create his lips
lower than usual. I mean, I created and
your lower shape. I can also show this anger
even in my character's mouth. Well, definitely according
to their characteristics. And I can see in
my original photo, we've talked about that before. Based on the characteristics of a character we
can create the face. Can actually show the emotions throughout the face with the shape that we create
our face competence. This is actually the face that we've considered
for our character. Now we can show that
hair with some lines. Yet because character's
hair is too short, we can just create
some shape of lines inside of the hair like this. In order to show that our character's hair
is completely short.
21. Plump man's face for character illustration: Hello, My dearest friends. I'm here again with another
tutorial session for you. In this session, we are going to create a character
based on this picture. We are going to create a
characterized picture. I'm going to show you how
we're going to do that. Okay, downlinks, we can work on a character
in different ways. And it depends that how we want to have our outcome
for our character, and we can try different
methods for our character. Right now. I want to get
my character out of this or due to reshape that it has and give it some
kind of a volume. Instead of creating the
face of my character long, I will create him a
bit chubby earlier. Now, I will start with creating the skull
or my character. I will create us a skull circle. Then I will add my
characters, draw to it. Then I will just give
some volume to it. And I'll shape it like this. Then I will create
my character's chin. This shape. I will add
it to my whole face. As you can see. I've got that long shape of
his face out of character. And I made his face
wider and Trobe year. Now I would want to
create as some wide ears FOR HIM, faddish ears. Then I use my gut lines to check the placement
of them and in order to be exact for creating
the other side of the face, I mean, I went to
create my other ear. Then. I will determine
the placement of the face compartments and the hair face parts
and the hair. For his here, I'm going
to add some volume like this jump of the head. Then also on this side, we'll add the volume
for the hair. Then from this front
part of the hair, from his friend
part of the head, I will create the
volume of our hair. Then I will determine the placement of my
eyebrows and eyes. I place the eyebrows at the same place as
the top of my ear. And this would be the
placement of my eyes. Nose would be placed here, almost the bottom of the ear. And this would be the
placement of his mouth. Then after that, I
will add his neck. When I've determined
placement of my face parts, I can continue my work. We'll also create
some lines inside of the ear to show that
it has a depth. To create the parts
inside of the ear. We'll do the same for
the other ear as well. Then. I would have
them in this shape.
22. Eyebrows and eyes of a man's face to illustrate the character: Hello to all of my
dearest friends. Alright, we are going to
continue our work here. Now. I will determine the
placement of the eyebrows. Just like this. Then I would also do the
same for the other eyebrow. Then I will move on to the eyes. I will get the eyes out
of their ordinary shape. And I'll create them
as semi-circles. I will create my eyes
so close to my eyebrows so that we can keep
our original pattern. As you can see in our model. The eyebrow and the eyes
are almost the same. I mean, they're almost stuck together and they don't have
any space between them. So I'm going to bring that
into my work this way. Then. I would also
create the other eye. Then I will create two
lines just below my eyes. This way. Then after that, we'll move on to create inside of my eyes and I will apply the
darkness that I see. Just as you can see here. Then I will work on the
eyebrows a bit more and make them a bit more thicker. And then I create the
shape of them going up and down at the end of
them so we can get closer to the original
face of our character. Say, they have a special
curve at the end. So I've just created
that just like this.
23. The nose and lips of a man to illustrate a character: Hello, TO love my
dear friends again. We are going to continue
our work on our character. This time. We're going to work on
his nose and his lips. As you can see. I'm working on his nose. I'm starting to create the nose. And I create denotes
a bit trickier. Comparing to a normal knows, I mean, I'm creating
good a bit bigger. It would look like this. Then after that, I want to
work on my character's lips. I would also work on that. Just as you can see here. I will create my character's
lips a bit more straight. Therefore, I can show
the shape of the face. I mean the general shape
and a mote of the face. We can have him frown
in our character. This is another way of creating character from our
original picture. Inside of the hair. We can also work like this
to show the texture of his hair. This way. Here we are.
24. Sketching the general shape of the boy's face: Hello, My dearest friends again. We are back with another
tutorial session for you. In this session, we
are going to create a character based on this face that you're
seeing right now. First of all, I'm going
to create an entity of this picture that we're
seeing right now. And then we will
continue with it. Okay. For starters, I would just determine what angle
his face is on. Then I just consider
a general shape for the face, the skull. And then I will add my
jaw to my character. I just do it onto paper. As I said first I consider
the angle of the face. I will start with my
characters, a skull. I will create the skull. Looking like this. Then I would work
on my characters. Draw. Here we go. If you pay attention. I'm just doing this according to the angles that I'm
seeing in this picture. I'm just trying to transfer
all the angles that I see in my own character. Then if you pay attention, you can see we have kind of an angle in our face and our head is a bit tilted, not too much, but just a little. Therefore, we should
consider this while we want to
create our character. Therefore, we try to create
exactly what we've seen to picture this work. In order to get the angles
are character's face, right? I mean, we're just
doing this in order to get familiar with our
character's face. Then we can start
our characterizing. For creating my guidelines, I can see that even my horizontal guidelines should have kind of an angle. This would be the
placement of the eyebrows, eyes, nose, and obviously
at last would be the mouth. C for all parts of the face. We have this angle. Then I would at
last imply, I mean, determined the placement
of the mouth and the lips. At last, I would want to create my characters hat and his hair. First, I'll add the hat. Just like this into my work. I'll see where our head is going to start and
where it's going to end. Before that, I will determine
the placement of my ears because my hat is coming
from the back of our head, coming actually out
of back of our head. A little bit lower than our ear. Huge. Determined the
lowest part of the nose, and then you create the ear from the lower part of the nose. We just drag it up. If you pay attention, our hair has covered a part of our ear, but right now we're
just going to complete, we're just going to create
the ears completely. Then we can add to hair
on top of it later. Okay. Now that I've determined
the placement of the ears, I can create my hat because
it has came out of this part, out of, out of the back
of my character's head. Then you should consider
that hat is circular, so it has gone from the back of our head and it comes
out from this site. I will continue from
this side as well. Just like this, I will have
my hat all around my head. This is the general shape of my characters hat
that we've created. Now I would want to work on my character's hair this time. First. I would've applied to general placement
of the hair. As you can see, my character has curly hair, although it's a hand,
something cute. Yet he has some curl
a beautiful hair. This way. We will create the hair as much
as they can be seen. As you can see. Based on the shape of the hair, I'm working on my character. I'm just adding this. The parser. I think it's needed
wherever I feel like it needs a bit more of a
movement and replacement. In order to make my work looking more beautiful and better. I'll do it because we're not copying our character
from this picture. We are doing good
based on this picture. Therefore, wherever
we feel like it, we apply some
changes in our work. And we don't have to create
everything that we can see. We're not going
to copy anything. This way. I will create the
shapes that I will see. Then I will create
my characters neck. I will add it to my
whole character. Then I go to create decode. And as you can see, I've created a bit of the shoulders and I will
complete them again. Basically the sketch
that we are creating, our basic and primary sketch, and we do not
change it too much. But I will show you
how we are going to create it when we are
characterizing this picture. This is our main and basic
shape of our character. Later we'll move on to the parts that we should rearrange.
25. Sketching eyebrows and eyes of a boy: Hello, My dearest friends. As usual, we are continuing
our work on our character. Well, this time, I will work on the parts that I've determined is the
placement of my eyebrows. I start from here, which is the most basic area. As I said before, we are going to
create the lines. According to the eyebrow that
we can see in our model. I'm creating it exactly
as can be seen here. Therefore, I'll come up
LED and then I go down. Then after that I'll do
the same on this part. I create my eyebrows in this area according
to my guidelines. This is a general
shape of our work. I would want to
work on the eyes. Eyes should be place a bit
close to the eyebrows. First of all, we're going
to create the upper eyelid, the line above the eye AUC. We even have another line above the upper eyelid that
we added as well. Then I would want to
work on the eye itself. Indochina ear seeing right now. Then we did direction of this. I, we will work on
the other ions. Well, I mean, I'm using my guidelines from
the top part of this. I create my other eye
on the other side of the face that I can create
the other eye as well. We are paying attention for our eyes to look
exactly the same. We are also paying
attention that we will just be respective
about the shape of the, I mean, we should be
careful to create the eye the shape that we
can see in the picture. And also the same
as the other eye. So I'll continue
my work like this. Work inside of my eye. I will do the same
for the other eye. And I will create it like this. And then after that, I will move to work on
the end of my characters. I, I'll just continue
my work like this. Now I would want to work
inside of my eye as well. I also place a light
inside of the pupil. Odd both sides. And I will do this
for both eyes. If you pay attention
into original model, we do not have any light
inside of the pupil, but because we are actually transferring our original
picture into a character, you should definitely
apply that's light inside of the pupil because our should
definitely have that. We always have that
in our characters. I would work on this sides
and this corners of the eye. And I can also create one or two of these
lines below the eye. I can either create them or
I can easily eliminate them. It's not that big of a deal. We'll be careful that
on this sides of our face will be compatible
to our eyebrows. This way. Then I would work
on my eyebrows. I will create my eyebrows in the direction that the
hair of it is growing. I will actually add some lines into direction of
my eyebrows hair. I'll continue my
work in this site. Then after that, I'll do the same for the other
eyebrow as well. Then I would also create an direction on the
opposite side of my eyebrow. Something that we should be
careful about and we should actually do is that we should
work on the upper eyelid, dark hair comparing
to the lower eyelid. And then also we would work on this upper line above the eye. Then I would also work a
little inside of my eye. I mean, I just give it a tag
of a color just a little. Then I will want to work on this upper line above
my eyelid and I will darken it this way. Then. I will just color this
area inside of the eye. These are our character's
eyes and eyebrows. Just want to work on
the shapes of them a little bit more and
then they ready to go.
26. Sketching Boy's nose, lips, and ears: Hello to my dearest friends. We are going to continue our work on our
beautiful character. This time on this episode, I want to work on my
character's nose. As you can clearly see, denotes up my character. Looks like an oval, almost. Therefore, I actually
bring it into my work and transfer it and
exaggerated in my character. We create an oval. Then we will work on it. Each shape that you
can see in your face. You can transfer it into more simpler geometrical shapes in order for your work
to move on easier. Just considers his nose moral
like more like an oval. Then I will also determine
the nostrils comparing to the shape of my character's
face and his nose. As you can see, easily creating the
nostrils for him. This way. Then I will continue these lines from
the beginning of the eyebrows to create
my nose bridge. I mean, I'll continue
the lines from the tip of my eyebrows to
the two fives and nose side of the nose to
create my nose bridge. Then after that, I would move on to create my
character's lips. And his whole mouth. As you can clearly see, my character's mouth is a bit tilted and he has
a crooked smile. Therefore, I tried to rank
all of them into my work. I would want to work
on this lower lip. Something that you
should pay attention to is that my characters live is a bit more different
from the original shape. I will create my lips
normal and natural way. I mean, it's a bit different
from what we see in the picture because this way
my character looks better. It looks cuter. Then definitely I can work on the lines around
my mouth a little. Not too much. I can
do it a little. I can bring some more
volumes into my work. For example, you can create
the volume of the cheekbones that you can see their picture. Also, we can do the
same for this side. And then after that, I would work inside of my ear. I want to change the shape
of the ear a little, not too much, just a little. This way. It does look better. And he looks so handsome. He is a very, very
handsome character with these prominent
cheekbones is different. Ears and this beautiful
lips and eyes. As you can see, the face of our character is
going to be complete. Almost done with him. As you can see, this part of our
face is a bit darker and we can actually
apply it here. This is a general shape
of our character's face, which we've done it here. We could actually created a step-by-step going to shape like this. And then after that I go to create the neck and a
bit of the shoulders. Then we just check
our whole work. And if everything was complete, our work **** sketching is done and we can
start our coloring. But first of all, this should check everything. We should go all
through everything. Once more. We might need to
work a little bit on the hair again, created designs. A bit more clear. Here we are. This
is our character.
27. Drawing the general form of the face of the boy's character: Hello, My dearest friends again. We are going to work on characterizing this picture that we are looking at right now. For the first step, I would want to create
the primary sketch. And for the first step of that, I would want to start with my characters is skull and jaw. For the starters of my work. We would also create a
circle as the skull. Just something that
you pay attention to is that you should consider a space around your skull in order to create the
hair and the head. So try to keep that. Why you are creating your skull. Your work would not
get out of the paper. Then we would move
on to the neck. After creating the job. Then we add the neck. Something that we should
pay attention to, is that our character's chin and his jaw has angles. We can easily show it
into our character. And we can actually
exaggerate those angles. Because we want our
character to be funnier. Then I would look and see that. How is the placement of each
part of my character's face? Then I bring it
into my own sketch. I mean, I will determine the placement of
the eyebrows, eyes, nose, lips, ears, and
the rest of the things. Character's head
is a bit tilted, as you can see. Therefore, we should also
bring it into our character. Just bring that tilt into
our character's head. Does a bit tilt toward
left from where we stand. Now. I'll see that how are
the rest of the face? And I can see the
rest of the face has also they also have some angle. Therefore, I will
consider this angle for all parts of my face in
order to make it cuter. And in order to make it
right based on my painting. Now I will create
my characters ears. As you can pay attention. In our original picture, the ears are, you know, coming down on till
the end of the nose. But of course in our
character we can definitely change
the places a little. I want my characters ears
be a bit more cute and fun. I will make them like this. I would do the same
for this other side. I would move to create
my characters hat. This is another general
part of our sketch. His hat. A hat can be a
smaller or bigger, or it can have different shapes. And just in this way, we will create our head. Now I want to work on
my character's hair. We can add the hair. A bit of difference. I mean, we can make a
difference in the hair. Just a little, not too much. Or we can create them as
the way that they are. But because I want to
have cuter character, I just apply some little
changes into my hair. I say in order to have
a funny or character, I just changed the style
of the hair just a little. As you can see,
it's still curly. I've changed its shape a little. I'm even adding more hair
than he has in the picture. So we apply this curly
as style of the hair, just make it busier
in a different style. Yet because our work is
going to be colored. Basically, we're just determining the
placement of our hair. We are determining where
our work should be colored. Keep that in mind as well. We are creating the main sketch. And then later,
we should work on the coloring of this
part of this sketch. Therefore, should
definitely consider that. Not to create our two dark, I mean, we shouldn't just
create very dark lines, very emphasize a thick lines for our primary sketch because
later we want to color it. And in order to do that, we should lighten our primary
sketch because we don't want our colors to
get messy or dirty. I can also create my characters, Nick and a part of his clothes
that I want to be shown. This is a cooler of our shirt. Then in this way, we move on to the details.
28. Eyebrows and eyes of a boy: Hello, My dearest friends. We are going to continue
our work on this character. Well, I'm going to create his eyebrows and
his eyes this time. I would start from here with creating my
characters eyebrow. And I'm going to do it
in a shape that I feel. It's a bit more fun. I mean, I'm going to
change the shapes a little in order to
make it more fun. As you can see,
I've just changed the shape of the
eyebrows and little, not too much because
I still want to keep the resemblance
of my model. But I think in this shape they would be funnier and cuter. That's why I do it. Now, for my character, is I would actually
create circularly eyes. I mean, I create two circles for his eyes because they
make him so cute and fun. Then I'll move on
to the other eye. I'll just create it the same
way I did for my right eye. I want him to be
symmetrical, therefore, I'll pay attention to create
both sides like each other. I'm going to use my guideline to check the
placement of my eyes. After I've completed them. Then I've checked it and I saw
it's in the correct place. I will work inside of my
eye and create my pupil, the iris, the lights and stuff the inside of
the eyes, sorry. And so on. I create this pupil for my, I can either do this or we can only create
the inner circle of the, I mean, we can only
create the iris. Yet because our eyes
are colored eyes, it's better to create both
parts of the inner eye. In this, I should also
create a smaller circle, smaller iris inside
of the pupil. This way, as you can see. This would be better because
he has colored eyes. So I advise you not to
create only the pupil. Then obviously, as always
as we do this as usual, I will consider a light
inside of my eye. After I've determined
where do I want to put it? Just in this way, it would be so easy. Even for coloring. If you want, you can make these parts of smaller or
bigger that depends on you. And the way that
you want to color this character that we've
worked on, the characters I. We will compare it a little to the eyebrows to check
their placements, to check their sizes. Then we've seen
everything is okay. We can move on to
the other parts. We should also check them with our guidelines from the
bottom and from the top. Because if you have any
problem in our work right now, we should edit it right now. Because if we color it, it will be just so insane.
29. Drawing the shape of the nose, lips and ears: Hello, My dearest friends. We're going to continue
our work on our character. Obviously, this night, we are going to create
our character's nose. And after that his
mouth and even Ears. Alright. Now we can create dynodes of our character in so
many different ways. Therefore, you can use
your own creativity. Or you can just do what I'm
doing right now, right here. Or you can do both in
different sketches. Obviously. I'm going to shape
his nose in this way. Therefore, it would
be funnier and cuter. This way. I will just create
his nose in a fun way. We can use the shape of the real news and little
inside of our work. I mean, we can keep the
main features of it, but then change it in a bit cartoony way
or in a cuter way. You already look skewed, but we're going to make him
even cuter in our sketch. Now, we can create our lips and our whole mouth in a
linear way like this. Then we can consider a lower
part and an upper apart for it to create his lower
lip and upper lip after creating a linear
theory mouth and display. But those parts, as you can see, are not really thick. Then can even work on
the sides of the face. We come down to our jaw, make it a bit more angular. Buy the same time. We're also making it softer. Then we can work
inside of the ears. As I said before. First of all, we can bring some of his hair into the ears. Into the top part of the ear. You can create any design and shape that you like
inside of your ear. Or you can just do it so simple. Again, that totally depends on you and your own
personal tastes. I think we can just
shape our ears a little that makes him
look way more fun. But again, it's your choice. You can use your
creativity to do anything that you want
with your character. But just be careful because
you're having a model, try to keep the main
features the same. Or at least similar. Even we can work inside
of the ears with creating some lines to show
it has a depth. We are coloring our hair. We would just work
on its details. So don't be worried,
not right now. Also, for the hat,
we do the same. We work on its details
while we are coloring, but we should just go
around it once more. It's enough for our
primary sketch, but when we wanted to color it, we would definitely
work on its details.
30. Coloring the hat of boy character: Hello again, my dearest friends. We are here. We then another
tutorial session. In this session, we are
going to color our work. Now. We're going to start
that with lightening and erasing my work because we
are going to color this area. Therefore, I should
lighten the lights and erase the ones
which are unnecessary. Therefore, it wouldn't be messy, my colors would not be
messy and we can have a neat and beautiful coloring. Well, considering that
some lines should be completely erased and
some should be lightened. First, I will do the lines
that should be lightened. And then I would move on to the lines which should
be completely erased. Like this. We will drag our eraser on our lines
slightly to make them lighter. We lighten the lines. Wherever any part got dark. Again, I can just rotate my eraser not to get any
parts messy or dirty. Well, try to erase these lines, especially in the
parts where you are going to have light colors. Because you are going
to have darker colors. It doesn't make that
much of a difference if you lighten the lights
completely or not. Now, I'm using my edit eraser to erase some lines which are
unnecessary completely. As you can see, we have two
ways for using our erasers. One of them is for the lines
which should be completely erased and another is for the ones which
should be lightened. We will erase the lines
which should be completely eliminated because we don't
want them to now work. At all. The most obvious
ones of them are guidelines. Obviously, the lines
which should be lightened or actually the
main lines of our work. Just like this. We will lighten work. Then I will use
my brush to erase all the extra parts of the
eraser out of my work. I am going to color my work and I'm going to
start from the hat. As you can see, the
color of my models hat, as you can watch in
the picture, is dark. We can create our hat in a brand color and use a little bit of
black in it as well. But generally we
are going to use different colors for our hats. Therefore, work would be
generally more attractive. I'm going to show you the
colors that I'm going to use. Deep brown color 376 would be my first color to be
used in this area. First of all, I will go over
the outer lines of my work. I mean, I'm basically
doing a frame working. I will determine
the shape of it. This way. Then. I will move on to the
other parts of my work. Just as you can see. I will go all around my
hat with this color. This is the main line
that I've considered for my hat domain outer line, of course, this would be the area which has
been covered by my hat. I'm going to start coloring
this area from one site. I'll do this. You can color your
work in a linear way. Or else I can start
from the side of my work and start coloring. But right now for
this edge of my work, I will do my coloring in a linear way with
linear movement. Just following these
lines for my coloring. You should just color your
work as the same way as you're watching me doing it right
now. What do we get? Part that we are going
to color the hair. I mean, when we reach the hair, stopped coloring to hat, then we start
working on the hair. And then we come back
on the hat again. Even on this side, we color as much as we reach the hair and we do
not continue that. I mean, we do not go inside of the part which should be
the calling of the hair. We do not go there. Just like this. We will have a debase and
foundation color for r hat. Then we apply other
colors on top of it and replace the colors layer by layer on
top of each other. As you can see, the same direction
that I'm coloring. I'll come to this part. I will use this same direction as I did for the other part. This is a very important
thing that each method Dad, you're using for your coloring, try to keep that method during all this surface
that you're coloring. I mean, if you're
coloring one surface, one thing we'd one method try to keep it from the
first to the end of it. Because this way your work
would be way more attractive. And obviously it
would be better. For example, as you can see, I've colored all
of the volume of my head with this same method. Now for our base tone, for our base and foundation
color for the hat, I will actually add the
rest of the colors to it. Enough for the Foundation. I'm going to add
another dark brown to my work, which is 380. I will use EBIT of my black
color on top of them. We are going to move on
on our previous work. Well, I didn't want to again, I say that I didn't
want to create the hash of my model and my
character completely dark, as you can see in the picture. That's why I'm adding different
colors of brown on it. Then I will use a little
of black on top of them. I'm generally using
a brown tone colors just in order to make
my work a bit darker. That's why I'm going to use
the black on top of it.
31. Finishing the coloring of the hat of the boy's character: Hello, My dearest friends. I'm here again with the
continuous of our work. We are working on our characters hat and
we are moving forward. I'm using brown
color for his hat, as we can see also
in the picture. I'm actually
progressing my work. I'm coloring all of my
work in one direction. As we are applying the
color layer by layer, we are getting closer
to the outcome and result that we want it last. Know, I would also add a layer of a black
color into my work. On top of my previous colors. We will actually be
creating darker layer. That is black. This is why I've started
from my characters hat. Because when we are
working on the hat, this is actually the darkest
part of our character. Therefore, when we get to the face and we
tried to work on it, I won't be dragging my hand on my face because it's the outer part of
the whole character. In order to color it, as you can see, I'm dragging
my hand on the face. So if I've applied
the face first, I would just make
my colors messy. But this way, it's better. We're just adding the
colors layer by layer. We give the color that we want
Two r hat and we move on. And this way when we
do to head first, who will not create any mess. The other parts. As you can see, we should add the
colors layer by layer. Right now I am adding dip
black layer of my work. Then after that, I would apply another layer of
brown on top of it. Therefore, my colors would
not be too dark or too black. The way that you can see, I'm just adding these colors. Then again, I will use my
color 376 on top of my work. Well, we should add the colors layer by layer as much as we get the
color that we want. The result. Well, I'm not really fond of
using all the dark colors in the work and use only one dark color even
in the darkest spots. Therefore, I'm not
going to darken this area to March as much
as I can see in the picture. But I do not suggest you that you can use too
many dark colors here. But I do not suggest that unless you want to work on bad
and angry character, basically a villain, then is the time that you can use to
dark colors into your work. For the characters which
looks so nice and kind, it's better not to use
too much dark colors. Even if you want to show a dark part like his hat
that we are having here. It's better to use a combination
of different colors and not make it plain
black or too dark. This is my hat showing itself. I just go over my head once. I'm using my pencil to go around my hat only once in order to determine the
volume of the hat. Then I would want to work
on my character's hair. Because the hair is directly connected and
related to the hat. Therefore, it's better to our work on both of
them at the same time. Therefore, it's better that
when we completed the hat, we start working on the
hair and vice versa. When we've completed the hair, but couldn't come back and add a bit of details into the hat. This is it. I can even use a
bit of black color. In order to make the
work a bit more lively, can add a bit more of
the black into our work. Just as you can see. Then obviously after that, this area, I will use a bit
more of my black color. This is it. This is
our black color. We can use a bit
more of our brown. We can still do that. Then after we've moved on to the hair and we've
completed the hair, but can always come back. And if there was any
part left on the hat, we will add them, We will complete them. And then we will have our
whole work. This way.
32. Coloring hair of boy: Hello, My dearest friends again, we're going to
continue our work on our character's hair and
we're going to start it. First of all, I start
with my okra color 383, and then I'll move
on to other colors. I started from the slide
of my work and I just go over all the sketch
that I've created. I mean, I just go around all this sketch that
I've created for hair, only ones for now. Then I'll come back and
I will continue my work. But the rest of the colors in this way create the pattern. Sketch for the hair. Then obviously, I will create just some curly
assign different parts. This time I'm going
to use the color 307. Then I would work on
some parts of the hair and I will color them
blonde with this scholar, not everywhere, just some parts. Just consider that our character's hair
is completely curly. And we've applied that
exactly on our character. Now, I'm going to use my color 352 for some parts of my hair. Then. As you can see, some parts of the
hair is so dark, even in our original model, we might not see how
it went on completely. But in some parts like here that is too light and you
can see how it's gone. You can also see some
darkness between and among these light parts in order to show the
volume of the hair. When we want to do
it in our character, we are actually creating this situation with
different colors. Therefore, we can show
the volume of our hair. From this inner
part of the hair. I will color some areas
so that we can show this. That character's hair has
somewhat of a volume. It's definitely
not just one hair. It's parts of the hair. Now, I am going to use darker
colors, like brown, 376. I'm going to use it. I'm going to color the parts which are
inside of the hair. Because in some parts I
need this dark color. Therefore, I will add
it wherever I made it. But definitely I will not do this in all the parts
and all in the same way. I just do it in some parts. I just don't do it
in some others. Even on the parts
that I'm doing good, I will not use the same pattern. Just try to do it differently. Because definitely I do not want to use the same
pattern for everywhere. Now I'm going to use
the color 309 and Lidl. Then. We will not just use
it everywhere as well. I just use it in some parts
with different patterns. Again, as I did before. I will just progress my work
part by part as you can see. And again, I'm going
to use my okra color. Among these colors that
we are working for it. We just move our work. With different colors. I mean, we are just switching our colors on different parts. Then I'm also going to use
a bit of my color 378. These parts. Because in some parts I want my hair to be darker in some parts and in some other parts I want
them to be lighter. Basically, I want to create that contrast in
all over my work. Alright. Now I can again apply my brand color inside of these twists in
my character's hair. Then I will use my
light color 304 to create some parts
on my work. Randomly. Just go back and
forth on some parts randomly with my lighter color. Again, I say, just because I wanted to create that
contrast in my whole work. We'll do it in order to make our getting out of
that as special order. I mean, we just
do it in order to make our more random
and more natural. Then as it continue of my words, I will use my black
color on some parts randomly to get my work
out of that special order. Therefore, it would look
like this. As you can see. I'm just applying it in some parts without
any special order. Then again, I will
use my gold color. And I will apply some patterns and shapes over here
with this color. This is from this
side of the hair. Then later obviously
I will move on to the other side of the
hair as well. All right. Now I'm just coloring this
left side of the hair. Again, I insist. You should try to use different patterns for
your character's hair. You should not do all of
them at the same time. I want to work on my other
side of my character's hair. As you can see, I'm actually using
different curly patterns in order for my work not to
be in the same shape. Because as you can see
in natural curly hair, they don't just go
in a special order. They are a bit messy and do
our out-of-order random. This is what I exactly gives
attraction to our work. I can even bring a
lot of hair into the face just as my original
model into picture. Now again, I'm
going to work with my other colors and I
will move on my work. Okay. Remember all the things
that I've said before? You should try to
create any of them, mean each one of them
a different pattern. Then I will also
use my black color and some parts, again randomly. Because if you pay attention, this side of our hair is generally darker comparing
to the left side. So we should definitely show it in our work. Then. I will use, I will create
some parts like this. You should just be
careful that wherever you're working on should not be the same as
the other parts. I've said at different times. I've said several times that you should use
different patterns. Just keep that in
mind. Here we go. Now we'll create a hair and I will actually progress
them part by part. This way. I would
work on other parts.
33. Continued coloring hair of boy: Hello to love managers,
friends again. We are continuing work
on our character's hair. He has so cute hair, so we're trying to bring
that into our character. I'm actually working in different parts with
different patterns. In some parts. I even use my gray color. Number Three 196. That shine and silver look. And also because we want to give different
colors to this work. Definitely we would
not use it everywhere. Now, I'm using the color 307. As you can see, I'm choosing different colors for
different parts. It's not like that I use
one color everywhere. It should differ
from part to part. That's why I tried to create these different colors with these different
patterns, or vice versa. Even sometimes I'm applying
these colors randomly. Because our work should
not get so disciplined. Shape and order. No, you should use
your imagination. Why is due? You're paying attention to your model and you
should just go creative. You should use dark colors
next to delight ones to keep the contrast and
make it look better. I continue this method until
all of my work is colored. Therefore, I'm just going
to move on like this. Again, as you can see, we are creating
different shapes and different patterns in each part, the side and the
front, the other side. This way our work
actually looks more attractive and more
interesting to look at. Because if it's
all the same way, even you as a viewer will get bored looking at some things. So playing and all the same. Therefore, because our
hair is generally light, we try to use the lighter ones. More and more we try
to use golden colors. Among the other colors
among our work. We would not lose that
golden color of the hair. He has a golden head. Just trying to keep it. In some parts like this. Dads reviews our darker colors. We can actually add
some more lines. Therefore, we can have
the strong contrast here. That's what makes our work unique and different
from others. So it's enough for our
character's hair for now. If we wanted to add something
by the end of the work, we can do it later. After you've finished
all the work, we can check it again. We would definitely
check it again and we edit any
part that we want. I will also colors
some parts that I want to bring from the
head into the hair. Actually these parts are
the hat among the hair. Because as you know, the hair will just cover some parts and this way it
would look more natural. My head comes into the hair and even combine
and mix them a little. On this part, I want
to come from behind my characters ear and
create a work on this part. This would look like this. I would also do the
same for the other ear. I mean, I bring some hair down
from the behind the ears. And I'll work a little
again with my golden color. Then again, I will add
some parts of the hat. Even in this area. Just like this, I'll come
over here and wherever. There isn't any hair
from my character, I will work on my hat. I can show it's all
around his head. And at the same time, I'm showing the volume
of the hair with this. My dear sprints. I think it's enough up
to this level for now. For the hair under
hat, of course. But later even if you
want to come work on it.
34. Start coloring the skin of boy: Hello, My dearest friends. We are continuing our
work on our character. This time. I'm going to work
on my character's skin and I'm using the base color 330 as the foundation
of my skin tone color. Then from one side
I start applying my character's skin color. Then I will continue my work
with the rest of the colors. Then I would apply some
are colors among the hair. Because actually
some of our skin is placed just underneath the hair. Therefore, we do this. As you can see. We are applying our
skin tone color underneath my character's hair. Alright, I'm going to continue
my coloring. Like this. Wherever it's beneath my hair, I will color and we should even darken those areas
more than this. We should almost also add some shadows and shading
zone it because of course, when we have the hair
coming onto the face, it will create a shadow on the forehead and
the rest of the skin. As we are moving on. If we pay attention
to inside of the eye, that we would not apply any of our skin
color inside of it. We can also not good
inside of the eyebrows. Because the eyebrow
has its own color. We should work on
that separately. Now we are only working
on our skin tone color, and we do not go inside
of the eyes or eyebrows. Because we need the white
color inside of the eye. We should not actually
move inside of it. We move a little on
the nose because denotes has the same
color as our face. Also is the same for the ear. And we will move inside
of the ER as well. We just move downward. We apply our color here. Dressed like this. We will actually have our
base and foundation color. Then after that, we will
move on to the other colors, which would be darker colors. You already know we should
also work on our next color. We use the same color
as we did on the face, on our neck because his neck is also from
the same as skin. Therefore, we just try to color the neck
with the same color. As far as we can see, the color of our shirt. Just as this. Wherever we can see our skin, I will use this color to
create that skin tone color. I will darken my skin color 387, and I will create the
parts where I have to create some shadows
are shadings on my skin. For example, these
parts beneath the hair. Should be darker. Therefore, I will use this dark color to create the shadows and
shadings over here. We are working on the parts near the growing area of the
hair with this scholar. Because we want to add a darker foundation
color to our work. I will apply more color
on the sides of the face because these are the parts near to the growing
part of the hair. And these are the parts
on the size of the face. And in those parts we usually have more shadings and shadows. For example, here on
the forehead we have the shadow of hair
coming on the forehead. Therefore, we should
darken these areas. And at the edges and sides
of the face left and right, we should create some volume for our face and we
darkening those areas. We will achieve this goal. I will continue
with my pink color. I will add my color 329, especially on these
growing parts of the hair sides of the face. Just like this, I
will continue toward the central face to create a very, very
great combination. Now I'm going to use a
bit of my okra color 383. We use it. I use it on
the sides of the face and wherever it's near to
the growth area of hair. Just like this. Then I will work and
little inside of my ears. I will use my brown color. For this inner parts
which should be darker. I will actually use them
for both sides. Then. With my skin tone color, I will work on this outer parts. A bit more. Both ears.
35. Continuing to color the skin of the boy's character: Hello, My dearest friends. As you can see,
we are continuing our work on our boy character. We are still creating
characters, skin tone. I would want to work on
this side parts as well. I will actually add a bit
more pink these areas. Then for my cheekbones, I will use this color. As you can see, the chicks are really prominent in this character
and in this image. As we are working
on the cheekbones, we will exaggerate them a little and we show
them in our character. We will work on the
cheekbone here. We will create small
circles next to each other to get the color and the shape that we want
on the cheekbones that will actually make
them a bit more prominent. We also do the
same on this side. Part, which is on the cheekbone. We will do it here. Just like this with creating a small circles
next to each other. And with the circular
movement of our hand, we will move forward in our work until we feel like our work has
enough color that we want. Improve it, I'm
progress it a bit more. We debase a skin tone color. We will add some more color into this area
because we want it to be more advanced for us. Also, we do it for both sides on both cheekbones. Now. We want to work on eyebrows. I mean, actually
around the eyebrows. Because should add some
more skin tone here. Just below our eyebrows. For this part, below
the and eyebrows. I'm going to use a 387, which is a brown color. Then we will use pink color in order to create
some more darkness here. Way that it gives some
more color to our work. And then we will
add our pink color. Pink in many parts of our face because he has
a lighter skin tone. We will do that. And we go toward bones of the nose a little
with our pink color. So in this way, we will create our skin
tone part by part. Then we also should apply this skin tone around your eyes and again
on the cheekbones. We should add some more color to these areas to make
them pop out more. Then for the forehand, we will use a bit more color. Four different
parts on the face. I will continue this work until
we cover all these areas. We should actually apply
more color on the parts which we have shadings or any kinds of shadows,
for example, below the lips, below the nose, or departs near the chin
and decides of the face. These all have more shadings
and some kind of shadows. These parts should be darker
comparing to other parts. Therefore, we should apply
more color on these areas. It's enough for now
for the skin tone. But if later, we wanted, we can edit it again.
36. Coloring the eyebrows and eyes of boy: Hello, My dearest friends. We are continuing our
coloring and this time we want to color the eyebrows
of our character. All right, I'm going to
use my brown color 378 for starting my work because I want to get the base
color for my eyebrows. Then from one side, I start moving up. And at the same time
I apply my colors. Just as you can see. Then I move on to
the other eyebrow. And I'll do the same
for this one as well. Easily in this way. Then we should work darker for the lower
parts of the eyebrows. Therefore, I'm going to
use my color 376 for these areas because you
want to make them darker. For the other eyebrow. I'll do the same. Then after that, for the
upper parts of the eyebrow. I'm going to use lighter color. I can get this part
with the right colors. This is my eyebrow. Actually these harmful eyebrows. As you can see, we are coloring the
eyebrows perfectly. As you can see, it's
not only one color, we are using a combination of colors in different
parts of it. Then I will determine the
ending part of my eyebrows. Then I will shape them like this. Okay. Now I want to work on
my character's eyes. First demo, I start coloring
around my characters. I I will do this
with my brown color. With the brown color number 376. I will use it to go all around
the outer part of my eye. This way. Then I will use this color to go all around the eyes
as you can see. Then later we will work inside of the eyes and it
will color the pupils. Just be careful while you're
going around the eye, you should not get inside of
the white part of the eye. You should just go
straight underlying. Be careful not to go into
the white part of the eye. And then we choose
the black color. And we color our iris with it, except the lights
inside of the eye. And again, while
I'm working here, I should also be careful not to go inside of the white parts. Again, either it's
the part between the pupil and the
outer line of the eye. Or for the lights
inside of the pupil. You should not go. Inside of the lighter parts. This way, I do a
frame working with my black color for my pupil. And then I will color this
black part inside of my eye. If you pay attention. The original eye, you can see the same process,
the same pattern. And this way, bold
my lines a bit more. Now, if you pay
attention the eyes of our model, our color. We should apply this
color inside of our eyes. He has colored eyes. As far as I can see. The color of his eyes is green. Therefore, I'm going to use
two kinds of green colors. First, I'm going to
use the color 357, which is good green. I'll use a lighter green to
create some lighter parts. For this upper parts, I'm going to use the color 357. For the lower parts
of the pupil. I'm going to use a color
which is a bit lighter, and I will combine these
two colors together. You should definitely
keep the light inside of the eye and you
should not go over it. Be careful because
it's a small area. You should do it with so much
awareness and attention. I keep the light inside of the eye and we will color
the upper part of the pupil. Now, I will change my color. I picked a color 363, which is a lighter green. I'll use it for this
lower part of my eye. I will add it to my work
to get the colors that I exactly one of his slaves. I'll do it for both eyes. This is the color of characters. I. Then again, we'll
use my dark color 376. And I will darken
all around the eyes. It more, of course. But as you can see, I'm emphasizing on
this upper part of my eye lid a bit more. I wanted to be darker. In order to bold my
eyes a bit more. We'll actually do
some principles for creating our character. But still we are not going
for the realistic drawing. We are drawing characters
and sometimes caricatures. Pay attention to that.
37. Coloring the nose and lips of the boy character: Hello, My dearest friends. This time we're going to work
on our character's nose and his lips were actually
going to apply the colors in those parts. We start with our
characters nostrils. I will darken these areas a bit. I'm using my brown
color Number 387, which I've also
used for my skin. Then I choose a darker brown. 376. I'm just darkening my work a little. Not too much. Then I would move on to my
skin color, skin tone color. Then I would work a little
above the nostrils. Actually it's almost
cylinder nose tip. I just add a bit more
color to these areas. Also, I'll do the same for
the size of the nerves. Just like this. I would want to
work on the nose. Then I will even move a little on the nose bridge
in the same color. Continue my work to actually determine the
nose bridge a bit more. Just says this. I would want to work on
my nose. There we go. With the color 392. We will go over these parts. Just a little nose parts. As you can see here. I will use my dark brown to create my nostrils and
pop them even a bit more. Now I want to move on
to my character's lips. Then I'm going to
use my color 392. This line in the
middle of my mouth. I mean the line
between the lips. Then after that, for the upper part and the lower part of my
character's mouth. I'm going to use a 321. In this way. Would also do the same for the lower lip. We color the central
area of that. Then I would move on
to the part where we have more colors on this
outer line of the lips. And I also emphasize
on this middle line. A bit more. Just as this we will have, our character's lips will work more on the upper
lip and lower lip. This is our lips.
38. Coloring the shirt of the boy character: Hello, My dearest friends. Well, in this
session that we are continuing our work on
our character because we want to working on our
characters clothes and shirt. I'm going to use
my gray color 396. Now, first of all, go over my main lines on the edge and the
size of my shirt. From both sides. I will create my quotes. His shirt. Then I will start from this side of the work
and I start coloring. I'm just creating a
foundation and a base color. As you can see. The picture on the left side of our
model is definitely lighter. I'm working on it right now. As you can see, the right side of
my model is darker. Obviously. I'm clearly going to show this. In applying my colorings. I will apply my gray color, which is base and
foundation color. Then we'll use the color 348 to create this line. In the beginning of my slave, which has kind of
a line over here. I'm using this gray to separate the slave from
detailed part of the body. Actually separating
the arm hole here. As you can see, is slide
definitely exist in our work. After that, I will
also apply average of this gray color
interests of my work. Around a slave and
around the shoulder. It will get more color. I will just start coloring now. As you can see, I'm just
smoothly moving forward. I'm also moving down. Then I will color this area
in the direction of my shirt. My clouds. Just like this. Then I got to a point. I will use my white color for this area in order for the
colors become more cohesive. Because of that. I will bring my white color onto all the parts that I've already colored to make
them more cohesive. Again, I say that for the other side of my work, I'm going to use color 300 AD because I wanted to be, I mean, I want the
colors to be a little different
from each other. I will also bring this color on the part which you've
used dark gray. We started from this part. We assert our colorings. Just add a bit of this
color to our whole work. Just as this apply the
color to the whole work. I will add this to all of
the shared, as I said. And then I'm going to use
even darker colors, like 376. Quite a dark color. I'm just proceeding my work. I'm actually going to create a color similar to my
character's heads color. Because I think in
this way my work would look more attractive
and more beautiful. Just as this. We're going to combine the
colors with each other. To get final result
that we want. We get this very complete color. I will use my black color
as well in this area. But because this side is going
to be our lightest part, I love this site actually not
going to use it too much. I mean, I'm not going to use my black color on
this side a lot because this side is
supposed to be lighter site. I'll try to do the same
from the other side. So first I start
with my color 348. Then I just follow
this same procedure. This way. Just apply the color from the
top to the bottom. Then I will twist my colors. Therefore, they come tore down. Look like this.
39. Continuing to color the shirt of the boy's character: Hello to all of my
dearest friends. As usual, we are continuing our work on our
characters close. As you can see, we are coloring his
shared or t-shirt. And we are coming from the coal are downward, toward down. And we are applying basic and foundational
base and foundation color. We apply our foundation color,
this direction completely. Then we get to the
opposite side. Just as this debase color for our work is gray. Then I'm going to use the
color 396 on top of it. Just the same way I apply
the color onto my work. From the colon downward. I keep the direction
of the clubs. This way. As you can see. I will use this color for all
of the surface of my work. And then after that, I'll move on to the
next colors, like 380. Right now I'm working
with the color 300 AD. I apply one more
layer of my color, this color actually
into the surface. Just like this. Then move onto my next color. And I can also use
my black color. Although I would apply
my black color for this side even more because actually we want
it to be seen darker. Therefore, we use it. Something that we
should do is that we actually add an applied
colors on top of each other. That our work would
look more complete. Work can look more cohesive
in the terms of coloring. Because this is one of the
other important things for us. This way. The thing that we do for this other side is that I'm going to
use my color 348. I'm going to use it
to pop the sleeve and bring it a little
more down this way. And then we apply some
more color to our work. Then we use that on
the Cola of floats. We actually apply one layer
of this color on my work. And then I'm going to
use the color 376. I apply it for one layer
on the whole work. Just as you can see. I'm also applying this color. Then after that, I would apply my black color
on top of them. Just as this. We are creating the
color for our clothes. I'm going to use my characters
NIC LEDs with this color, which is the base
for our skin tone. So I apply some shadings
just below my neck. As you can see, even in our original picture, we have some darkness
in this area. A bit more comparing
to the other parts. I will add some more base color. Then after that, I will use my face is colors to this area. One of them is 387, which I'm going to use here. Then f though that I'm
also going to use a bit of my color 378 for this area. Little upward and a
little toward my neck. Apply and add my
color in these parts. Then again with my
skin tone color, I come over here and I covered the whole area to make them
all look more cohesive. I'll also apply some more
colors beneath my lips. Actually right now we are
going to work on parts which we feel like they have
some extra colors. I mean, wherever we
can see darker in our picture or in our own mind, we can apply the colors
where it's necessary.
40. Sketching the general shape of a girl with glasses: Hello, I'm I dearest friends. We are back again with
another tutorial session. This time, I'm going to create this picture for you that
you're seeing right now. And I'm just going to
create a primary sketch and domain phase
of our character. Then we move onto characterizing
it because first of all, you should get familiar and
acquainted with creating its face and the face
components of it. Then we can create our
character, can characterize it. First of all, I would
pay attention to the direction and angles of
my character's face and head. Then I will create first the skull and then
do jaw of her. Just do it onto paper. This is the beginning of my work and it's the skull of her. Actually applying it. This is my skull. Then I will create my jaw with the angle
that I'm seeing in it. As you can clearly see, work would look like this. Then I will add them to
the rest of my work. Obviously, our neck has gone underneath the hair and
we can not say too much, but I should create it. Atomically. As you can see, our head is also tilted a
little in this picture. And all of my face
competence have this angle, dare corner raise
under notice strength. I should consider this while I want to work on my
character's face. So I should also
work on the hair, but before that, I just create my guidelines in
this specific angle. Then I would work
on the other parts. The hair and the
risks of my face. Okay. Now this line
in the middle of our face should have
some kind of a twist. And maybe it's fair to say it has some kind of
a turn and tilt. I would actually show
this in my work. All right. No, I will determine
the placement. My character's hair. The general shape of my
character hair is like this. Would actually consider
it for my work. For this upper part of the hair will work on these parts which are
more obvious and clear. I will add these parts actually. Then I would work on
my character's hair. Wherever I feel like it's
it can be seen more. I will add parts
of the hair to it. Just as this I would work on
different parts of the hair. We also have some kind of a
messy hair in-between them. But hair, hair is almost
tidy and we're going to just follow specific ordered,
organized pattern. Here is almost tidy. Then I pay attention and I see I have a shape
of this for our face. It has just some ups and downs, therefore, I'll create
it as I can see it. Then after that, I'm going to create our hand which
has gone into her mouth. I liked you to create this
finger inside of the mouth. Then I create the shape of
the rest of the fingers. Just in a general shape. Don't want to work
on their details. Not right now. As I said before, just create a general
shape for my hand. Then I will create my slave. I will add the
slave to the hand. Stories actually like this. Then I will continue my work like this. This is the general
shape of our character, of our sketch actually. Also, I would add some hair. This side coming down, coming all the way down. Then I create her
clothes from this part. I can also do the
same for this part and create some part
of the shoulder. And her clothes would also create her fingers here. But as I said,
generally for now. In fact, I'm just
creating general shapes in the areas because right now we don't want to
work on to details yet. It's correct that
these two fingers are separated from each other, but we're not doing
it right now. We just create the fingers
close to each other because we're not
copying our picture and wherever we feel like it and
we feel like it's needed. We changed the shapes
and forms in order for our work to become more
attractive and more beautiful. This is the general shape of
our hand and face and hair. Now, we are going to work on each face
components separately.
41. Sketching eyebrows and eyes of girl: Hello, My dearest friends. We are going to continue
our work on our character. As usual. Start with creating the eyes, the eyebrows of my character. And according to the
shape that we have here, we will continue our work. Okay. Well, I will work on the
general shape of my eyebrows. This way. Then I would also work
on the other eyebrow. I will add it to my work based on considering That's my
head is a bit tilted. I will consider a very
good angle for my eyebrow. As you can see in
our original sketch. Our hair is coming into the face and ending part of
our eyebrow cannot be seen. This is what we see in
our original mother. Therefore, I can rearrange my hair in my
character a little, bring it a little bit
forward and into the face. Therefore, it looks more
similar to my original photo. And as then we can now see the ending part of
the eyebrow room. We want to work on the
hair especially we can make it better and edit it. Right now I just want to
work on my face components. But just like this, we should just bring the
hair a little bit forward. In order to make the
volume of hair a bit more, we will increase the volume and we make it similar
to our picture. I also looks more
beautiful here. I wanted to work on
my character's eyes. I'm going to start
creating her eyes. I am doing it according to my
eyebrows and my guidelines. I mean, I should pay
attention to both of them. Then do it this way. This would be the primary shape of our eye and our eyebrows. Alright. I would want to work on the
rest of the details here. As you can see, our character has
very long eyelashes. And we are definitely
going to add these long eyelashes
into our work. Just this way. We will do the same
for this one as well. We will work on the eyelashes. We will create the eyelashes
first on the upper eyelid. And I can create a little
love them under lower eyelid. Then I would work inside
of my characters. I create my pupil and add
it to my work. This way. Then I will create
the light inside of the pupil as usual as I've done it with all
of my characters. Even if you cannot see any light inside of your models pupil. You should definitely created
in your character because it's a lot of the basic
shapes in character creating. Try to keep that in mind. You are actually
creating a character based on your module. It's not a, you're
not going to copy your model exactly
on your paper. Therefore, you should consider this slide inside of
the pupil, India. For example. Right now, you can see we have some light inside of our work. These are my character's eyes. As we can see. Our character has also glasses. But before we want to
work on the glasses, first we should work on the nose and then we should
add the glasses. First of all, I'm going
to darken the eyebrows and the direction that our eyebrows hair is growing. These are the eyes and eyebrows for our beautiful,
beautiful character. According to our model. Based on our model. We would also work on
this upper eyelid, a little like this.
42. Sketching the nose, glasses, lips and hands of girl: Hello, My dearest friends. Going to continue our
work on our character. Now, we would want
to work on them. Those definitely want
to work on it as well. Alright. Then I will create lines
that I see for my nose. Because later we will consider these lines as our guidelines. Getting help from them. I will create my
character's nose. As you can see. Create. Then Australia, because we are going to create
the glasses as well. We need these
guidelines in order to create our glasses. All right. We've created those lines and
now we are going to create the general shape of the glasses on the
nose and the eyes. First of all, I create the
middle line of the glasses, the part that connects two
glasses together under nose. Then I will create the general shape of
the glasses themselves. We just create an AR glasses
as we see it in our picture. This way. Then I'll move on to this
glass, to this side. I will add it to. And as you can clearly see, even my glasses
has the same angle as the rest of my body
parts and my face parts. Because again, my
head is tilted. And then exactly
in the same line, I will create the
glass of the gases, the left gas, and the
handle of the glasses. This is the shape of my glasses. Now I want to move to
my character's lips. As you can see, the lips of my character has some kind of
a deformed shape. Therefore. Now we will erase finger which
has gone into the mouth. For now we'll just erase it. And then later
after we've created the lips and the mouth, we will create the finger. After that again. Now we will start from this
upper part of the lip. I will create the
shape of the lips. I will create the cheekbones into correct placement of it. Then I'll come down. Then after that I'll
move on to the lips. I will create them. This way. You can clearly see
this is a place that are and let finger has
been placed on the lip. We can have it like this. Then this is my characters
finger inside of the mouth. I will also add the volume
of the lip just below that. Definitely after
that, I will work on the teeth. In this way. I will also create
the lower teeth, will also create fingernail. I don't have a finger. Then. We would want to work on
the rest of the fingers. Like this. As you can see, fingers are placed on
the face in this shape. We tried to create the
same shape and apply our fingers on our face. Just as this. Alright. Here we go with the shape of the
fingers and face. Then we will erase the extra lines for this
inner parts of our face. Cleaner and neater sketch. Even before I start coloring. This is the general shape
of our character's face. All right.
43. Illustration of the general form face of the girl character: Hello to all of my
dearest friends. We are back again with another
tutorial session for you. In this episode, we are going to create this character that
you see here in this picture. We're going to create a
character for this picture. First of all, we should
see features and the general shape of our picture and our model
so that we can use them, get help from them in
creating our own character. First of all, we should
consider the general shape of our model's hair and how we can actually apply
it in our character. Also, we would consider
the same for the face, the general shape of it, and we should see what features does it have so we can
use it in our benefit. First of all, I create the skull and the draw
all my character. Then we will move on to creating a whole
complete character. Try to make my character look
a bit funnier and cuter. Because we are actually going to create a character from
basically our own imagination. I'm going to work on
the skull at first. Creating the characters,
your work would be way more easier. Actually you're not. And copying the
character gnosis all. Everything has a very simple
shape and also a fun shape. I will create the general shape
for my skull and my draw. And if this is my head, I should start my
neck from this area. I will actually make
them neck thinner. That it really should be because my character is a female. And as we said in
our primary course, for female characters,
we use thinner. Next. Okay? No, I am going to see what are
the directions of my face. Then I made them more simpler. As you can see here. Face has been tilted a bit and some lines will be curved
toward up or down. Actually decrease this angle
in my character because we're not working a
realistic painting. We are just decreasing these ankle to make
our character look cuter and to make
it more cartoony and the shape of a character
not as a real-life image. We are actually free to do anything to create our own specified and
unique character. Of course, based on the model. Now, after I've
decreased the angle, I will consider the general
shape of my character's hair. And I can also exaggerated
in order to make my work look better in cuter. I consider this area as the area which
our hair is growing. I will create my hair
in this form and shape. I'm going to twist it
even a little bit. We'll consider a complete
general shape for my character. Then I will continue
this shape. In here. I would also consider
another twist and turn my own models hair. Then I continue day hair down. This part. I create a part for the front part of the
character's face. Then I also apply another part. From here. This way, it will actually complete
this shape of the hair. Alright. This time,
for this part, I will separate this area. Then I bring it down their lead. I will also create
some more shapes. This way. This is it. This is actually the shape that I've considered for
my character's hair. But right now I'm just creating the general shape
because later we are going to actually
color our character. Therefore, we do not need to add too many and details right now. And in coloring, we
will actually show the shape of every detail
better and better. Now for making our
character even cuter, we can create some
parts of the hair from this side of the head
and bring them down as well. I would also turned shape
of my head and my face. I can get a better shape on the face for making my character look
better in cuter. This is it. Now, consider that the hand of my character should also come inside of her
face as we can see. Our face in our character. I can either do that or not. I mean, this is
optional for you. I can choose not to create
their hand inside of my face, or I can choose to bring
the hand inside of my face. That's a really
personal decision. Depends on your own
personal taste. I chose not to do that because
I wanted to look cuter. This would be the rest of the hair coming down
from the other side. And we just only
some simple shapes. I will actually move
my work forward. I'll improve it. Then I also consider that I would want to work
on my characters colon. And also her clothes.
44. Illustration of eyebrows and eyes of girl: Hello, total of my
dearest friends. We're going to continue
our work on our character. This time. I'm going to work
on my character's eyes and eyebrows because we
are creating it from, I mean, based on an
original picture. First we create a general
shape for our character. And we do not get into
the details that much. I just create a normal
shape for her eyebrows. Then I would work on
the other eyebrow. I will work on this
one the same way. Then. I just create a bit of a distance
between this and the hair. Between the eyebrow
and the hair. This is the shape
of our eyebrow. For my character's eyes, I would want to
consider big eyes. I can easily create it. Because I want my work
to be funnier and cuter. I will create my eyes. Big shapes. But if you pay attention, I actually did general shape. The general form is, as we can see inside of our picture that we
just emphasized on it, exaggerated it, and we
make it better and bigger. Just changed the shape a little. So it would be more pretty. As you can see. We are actually creating this character based on
an original picture. Therefore, we want to make
it as cute as we can. I can create my eyes, my pupils actually
completely here. Or I can just create a bit of a space between the pupil and the lower part of the eyelid. Now, I would want to
work inside of the eye. I'll create it. I'll create the
light inside of it. And then after that, we'll create the shape
of the other eye. I will create the shine inside
of the other eye as well. And of course, the pupil itself. These are our eyes and eyebrows. Just one thing that I should
mention is that I want to create long eyelashes
for my character. Because I want to make her
more beautiful and pretty. Just as easy as this. We have a beautiful character. I can also create some more eyelashes
for this lower part. Just in this way. Then of course, when
we are coloring it, we can actually consider the upper eyelid bit
thicker comparing to the lower eyelid.
45. Illustration of the nose and glasses and lips of the girl character: Hello to all of my
dearest friends again, we are working on our
character as usual, and we are just doing some
characterizing for her. I want to create my
character's nose. Actually, I want to make it
a bit smaller than it looks. And I also want to create
it a bit more finer. This way. Now this is the shape that
I've considered for my nose. Now I want to create my
characters glasses on her face. Way that first I will
actually create the apart, which will stand
under nose bridge. Then I will add the shape
of the glasses to her face. Then I will add the
handles to my work. Then I would want to
work on this guy. Wanted to create this too. As you can see, the glasses are both on
the same line. Dear a bit. Corner ways to their
leaping a little, but they're in the
same straight line. Obviously the glass which
is more closer to us, is a bit bigger because it goes into perspective
of our work. You should never forget that. Then I will create the
handles of the frame. This is the shape of
the glasses. Alright. Now I want to work on
my character's lips. For her lips, I'm going
to work too simple. I want to create very, very simple lips for her, but at the same time, I want to make it
a bit more cuter. It would be simple,
yet still cubed. And in that character shape, I create this funny shape, this cube shape for
my character's lips. All right, my dear friends. This is beautiful character
that we've created. Now. You should pay attention
and we should work on her colors and details. You can definitely
start from this side. And just create a
part of your jackets. Kohler. We can show that
behind the hair. We can have a
volume of our body. And also we can do the
same for this side. We can show that she has a body. She's not just the head and we have a volume for our body. Then we can bring
the hair that we've worked on in here
and we can just bring them inside a little. And also we can do the
same for this side. This is our beautiful
character that we've created. According to what we can
see in this picture.
46. Hair coloring of the girl character: Hello, My dearest friends. For a coloring character. First of all, we're
going to lighten our primary sketch because
we want to start our work. We wanted to start
coloring our work. If we do not do this lightening, we will get our colors messy. Even we erase some lines
and some parts completely. First of all, we're
going to work on the hair because hair, our character has blonde hair. Therefore, we
should be sure that our primary sketch is lightened
enough in order not to get our work and our
coloring messy and the darkness of the
pencil lines would not be seen from underneath the colors, especially on her blonde hair. First of all, I
will lighten hair, hair will move onto
her face lines. Okay. Now we want to work on
our character's face. We would also light and
some lines over here. Just as this. Some lines should be
completely erased that we are going to do
them right now completely. It will just lighten
these shapes this way. Then I'll use my eraser to erase the lines which
are our guidelines. We will erase these lines completely and we
will eliminate them. These are the lines
that should not be seen at all in our work. We're going to just
erase them completely. Just as this. Then obviously, I will take off the extra parts
of the eraser of my work. Then after that, we
are ready to color. Started with the color
which is close to my work, to my hair actually. First of all, I choose the closest color
to my blonde hair, and then I will continue. I'm going more for golden colors and some parts I will use
brown and yellow as well. For the beginning of my work, I will color the lightest areas. I aside from here. And then I'll get
to the other parts. The parts I want them
to be the lightest. I would color them
right now because later I will work on them
with my white color. In this way, I will
apply coloring. I will apply my color. I'm using the car 307 for
the beginning of my work. Because our hair is light. We will use our yellow color for the base and foundation
color of the hair. Now, I will work on the
parts which I want to keep the lightest with
my white color. Because when we use our
white color on some parts, actually, those parts cannot accept too much color
on top of them. I will completely
erase the parts which I can see the
pencil lies underneath. This is very, very important, especially in these light parts. If you've seen that
in some parts, your pencil line can be
seen from underneath. You should definitely
first erase it and then you should
bring your colors on it. So again, I say, I'm going to work on my lightest areas
with my white color. I want to keep these areas the most blonde and the lightest. Okay. Now, I would apply my next color here for this
front part of the hair. You see in here, we have kind of a darkness. I mean, it's a bit dark hair comparing to the
rest of the hair. Therefore, I will
start my coloring. This area of my hair. It has some twists in it. This way. I will just surprised
the general shape once. Then I will start coloring in the direction that my hair is growing and
it's been a styled. Move our color toward
this side because our hair is twisted
and turned here. And we want to show
that in our work. Just like this. I will apply my colors. Again, I saying the direction of my hair growing in a styled. But you should just be
considering that you should not use your colors
all in the same way. I'm going to use the color
378 after that for this area, which is the growing
part of the hair, which is the part that
the root of the hair. I want this area to be dark. Therefore, I'm going
to use it here. Anyway. I was saying that try to use different colors and get a combination of the
colors as your result. Because this way you will
have a beautiful contrast and your work would look so
beautiful it in natural. For other parts that I want to have some
more darker colors. I can use this color
in some parts again. Some other parts of the hair. This way. Wherever I
wanted it to be darker. I'm going to use this color. Again. I say wherever I
want more darkness. I'm going to use the gold
color 352 over here. And among these colors, I will use this color like this. Because we have blonde
hair over here. We can use different colors for creating our hair. This way. Then I would also apply other colors on top
of it and create a mixture. As I said before.
47. Continued hair coloring of the character of the girl: Hello, love my dearest
friends again. We are here within the
other tutorial session. And in this session, we are going to continue our
work on the hair coloring. I'm using the color 387, as you can see, for continuing the coloring
on our character's hair. Well, I want to work on this area which I wanted to be separated from
the rest of the hair. I'm going to work on it
a little and color it. I even show some parts inside
of this part using a width, actually creating some lines
and coloring some areas. Parse that I'm coloring now. Can be easily anywhere. Any part of the hair. Day shouldn't just
look all the same. They shouldn't have any
special discipline. It's better that
they would be more random so your work would
be more attractive. But pay attention. It should be in the direction
of the hair growing and the direction that
it has been styled. So you should definitely
pay attention to that. I'm going to use my
lighter color 307. I will also colors
some parts with this scholar because
she has blonde hair. Therefore, I prefer to
use lighter colors. Just as this. For some parts that I
want it to be too light. I will apply my white color as the base and
foundation of my work. You'll see later. It should look like this. I also color this front
part of the hair. Now it's the time that
I pick my white color. I gave a base color to this
front part of the hair, especially on some
specific parts of it. In order to make them different, creates some contrast here. I will also use some of my brown color 378. Like this. Because as much as we
have different colors, work would be more
attractive and prettier. I use more colors in our work, is more combination
of the colors, it would look better. I use my dark color to separate this front part from
the back parts. And also I'm going to use it a little bit over
here. Not too much. Little. Okay. Now I want to work
on the back areas. For this part. I'm also going to
use my yellow color, actually one of
my light yellows. Then after that I'm going
to use my gold color 352. And I'm going to use it
a little over this area. Just give here a little
bit of color as a base. Well, applying colors is
something that you can definitely bring some changes and bring some changes into it. You can change different colors, you play with them,
move their placement. I like to color it this way. If you don't like it, you can color it any
way that you'd like. I'm going to use the
car 383 in this area. And also a little over here. Again, I emphasize it depends
on your own personal taste. You might not like this color, therefore, you can
use the front ones. Well. You should just scatter and spread the color in
different parts of your work because this way your work would
look more attractive. Just be careful,
I'm telling you to create different colors
in different parts. Yet, you should be
careful to create all the colors in all
the same direction. Again, I'm using the color 387 for this upper
part of the hair. This way that you can see here. Then work on this beginning
part of the hair, which is on top of
the other parts, I'm going to use some of
my color in this area. Therefore, I can separate
it from the other parts. I'm going to use this scholar in some different parts and
areas as you can see here. Even I'm gonna use it a little on this ending part of the hair. Now I'm going to
use my color 307 again to keep that go
Linne and blonde color, which is more
general in our hair. I mean, generally can
be seen in our hair. Then I'm going to use
my brown color 378. In some parts. Again, I emphasize that we shouldn't use all the
colors in all the parts. We use some colors
and some parts. Then after that, I will add some more lighter colors
in some other parts. This can create a great
contrast for me at the end. It can be used in some parts. You should continue coloring the hair parts by part
as I'm doing right now. The procedure is the same and we should add the colors layer, bi-layer part by part to get
the outcome that we want. But you'd have to choose which parts should be
colored in these colors.
48. Coloring the lower part of the hair of the girl: Hello to allow my
dearest friends, we're going to continue our
work on our character's hair. As you can see, I'm working on different parts of the hair
and I'm coloring them. I'm actually improving my work. As you can see, right now, I'm using the light
color, yellow color. And then constant late. I'll combine it and mix
it with other colors, which are a bit darker. Because I want to create that beautiful
contrast in her hair. As you can see. I'm just applying these colors
continuously, 1.5 there. Another, if attention, you can see that the hair of my character has some twists. And I'm actually
going to show them. Which coloring my hair in
the direction of that twist. When I call her into
direction of the twist, I can show it perfectly. Wherever I can see the lines
going to this direction. I'll do the same
on my character. This is something that you should definitely pay attention to in order for your work
to be more attractive. Now, I would work on this part
which is close to my face. I would apply my color on here. Then, for example, in this part, which is under the
twist of the hair, I will use a darker color like the one I'm
using right now. Just in this way. Then I use my light color
again to add some parts over here to make them
look like this. Then I apply my color part
by part, layer by layer. I just apply my colors
on top of each other. We move on. Just as this. For these different
parts of the hair. I will apply my
general color which is 307 downtime using right now. Then I will use other
colors part by part. This way. I would just color
different parts. But of course I would not make all of my work look the same. I tried to color different parts with
a different pattern. It would not look
all the same because that way work might
look so boring. Because I don't want
them to look all the same and I want
them to look different. I would actually do this that
I call her each part with a different pattern to make my work even
more interesting. Now, I'm also using different colors to make
it more attractive. And again, I say, to keep that beautiful
contrast in my original work. Just as this, I will. Improved my work for
different parts. Now with this color, I will create a
twist in this area. I will divide this area
and I'll separate it. As you can see. You can work on different parts
just as easy as this one. I would also emphasize some
parts with this color. Just create some darker
lines in my hair. As you can see. Because, well, my work would
have some variety in it. I'm also going to use my color 383 a little on these areas. For some parts of course. I will use it in
different parts. As I said before, I will continue this work until I get all of my hair done. In order for them
to look like this. Then for these ending parts, I will consider a twist. Then I can use my brown
color to work on this area. And also I can work on some
parts with my gold color. In order not to make all the
parts look like each other. You just have to do one of
them correctly and then you can easily do the
same procedure, but not the same pattern. Now I want to work on this
part of the hair as well. I would apply my base and
foundation color like this. Then I will cover it
with other colors. Just as you can't see.
49. Continued coloring of the lower part of the hair of the girl: Hello, love my dearest friends. We are going to continue our work on our
character's hair. Something that you should
pay attention to is that wherever it gets
closer to the neck, we will use darker colors because we can have the shading between the hair
and death throat. I'm going to use the color 376. I will actually create
a darkness over here. It would look like this. Then again, I will color the other parts that
would look like this. Just like this. I will work in-between the hair in different
parts of the hair. And I will create a curve
in the opposite direction. Therefore, I can show a twist here and I can show that hair, hair is way, way. This way. I'm using my yellow color, which is actually the
base color for my hair. Then I'll use the other
colors on my work to have everything I want to have to color
that I want at the end. Well, now I'm going to use some other colors
and I'm going to add them to my work. This way. I will work on
different parts of my sketch and I apply
the colors that I want. We can add these colors
wherever we want them to. Just pay attention to the
direction of the hair. The contrast of it
in different parts. Totally depends on your
own personal tastes. Yet you should just go with the principles and rules on whatever part that
you want to work on. You should be careful
about hair being in the correct direction
or hair being twisted. You should work on all of these. Therefore, your work look
better and more beautiful. I will also light in this
area and then again, I'll come back and I work
on it with my brown color. For example. For these parts which are underneath the hair, I will use my brown color because these parts are
dark as you can see. Then I will add my gold color in some
parts, not everywhere. This is it my dear friends. And I will also want to
work on this corner, this corner of the hair
which has been left out. I will use my base
color on this area. Then. I will use some other colors. This part, something that you should pay attention to
is that there's a part of the hair which is
connected to the head. We should work on
that part a bit more. Therefore, when it
combines with the face, it would be actually
more clear to see. This way. I will work on it. Then. I will use some of
my gold color in here because I want to
blend it to the face. Sorry, I didn't want to
blend it to the face. And I will use a bit of color underneath this area just for the
shading of the hair. Then later when I worked on the face and I worked
on to skin tone, I would make this
part more complete. I wanted to work on the parts
which have been left out. I actually want to
cover this parts, which would be one
with the face. This is about the hair. If later on it got a bit light, we can always come back on
it and work on it again.
50. Start coloring the skin of a girl: Hello again. We are continuing our work on our
character's face. I'm going to color my skin with my foundation and base color for her skin tone, which is 330. I start my work with this color. I will start from this part
which is the side the most, and I will apply
my color here and then I moved toward the
center of the face. I would apply my
foundation and base color. Then for my skin, I would apply some more color beneath the eyebrows,
but as usual, and as we did for the
other characters, we do not need to
apply this color inside of the eyes or inside of the eyebrows because they
have their own colors. So we should not apply this
scholar in those areas. Dan, I should also apply my skin tone color
inside of my glasses because obviously
it's made of glass and it's transparent and you
can see right through it. Therefore, you can see her skin. And I should create the color of my skin
even in this area. Then again, I will use
my skin tone color. Beneath my handles
of my framework. All parts of the face
has this face to skin. It should apply it in all parts except inside of the eyes, inside of the eyebrows, side of the mouth. As you can see, I'm applying my base and
foundation color everywhere. Wherever I can see a skin. Wherever I can see her skin. I will use this color. As I've just said, and as I've just mentioned that I should work
on the neck as well because we can see a skin on her neck up to the part
that my clothes will start. I should create my
skin tone color, even on her neck. I will also create this
other glass I mean, through this glass,
skin jam color. But we should not create any. I mean, we should not
apply any of this color on the framework of our glasses. Be careful about that. Do not go in that part. Then I will also go on my nose. Just continue my
coloring this way. We do not go inside
of the eye again, I insist and I
emphasize on that. We continue our skin tone color. We would also work
on the forehead. And we apply our skin tones. You see my dear friends. This skin tone of
our model is light. Therefore, we are
actually creating a lighter skin tone for
our character as well. I'm going to use my pink
color 329 for this area, for her skin tone. And wherever I feel
like it's needed. I will also apply this color. For example, the size of deface underneath and
below our eyebrows. This part above
the upper eyelid. These parts should all be
worked on with this pink color. Even the corners of the eyes and obviously on her cheekbone. Even if you look at your model, you can see a major pink
color on her cheekbone. I would apply this color to
the majority of my face, especially on the cheekbones. Would work on this part. I'm just creating my color
step-by-step and slowly, I will not suddenly apply a dark color and a
big amount of DOM, large amount of them. Therefore, it would
be so far away from my other colors
and it would not look cohesive and I would not create any extra shine on my work because that would just
ruin the whole work. So I just moved back and forth. And the step-by-step,
I'm creating my collars layer by layer and slowly with
so much patience, I continue with the
same procedure and method until I get the colors
that I want at the end. Then I would also work on the other side
of the cheekbone, which is beneath my other
side of the glasses. I will add some colors to it. Both sides of my face would be colored the same
way, the same color. Then underneath dead lips. I will work a little
bit of this scholar and also a bit this part
above the lips, above the upper lip
and below the nose. Then I use the color 387. And I will go over this side parts which are
connected to the hair. Because on this top part of the forehead that
we have the hair. And the hair is
connected to the head. We can see darker colors. And I'm going to create
it with this color. I will also create the shadow
of the hair on my forehead. Again, with this scholar. I'm using this scholar to create all the shadings
and darker shadows. Again, I say I would
apply it wherever. I have the hair
coming onto my face. And then even on her forehead, I will I mean, on this side of her forehead, I would apply a
bit of this color. Then I would also color beneath my glasses because I would definitely
have the shadow of my glasses on my face.
51. Continued coloring of the skin of the character of the girl: My dearest friends,
we're going to continue our work
on this character. As you can see, I'm applying the shading and the shadow
below the glasses. I wanted to apply more skin
tone color in this area. Then for this part which
is above our glasses, also apply some
shadings on my skin. And also I would do the same. For the other part. I will create a line in the
same direction as my glasses, but a bit lower to create the shavings and it's
correct placement. Then I would work a little on this lower part
of the I mean, in this part below the glasses. Then I will work on this area
which is close to the chin. I should apply a
bit more color to this area in order to separate
this part from the NIC. Therefore, I can have
a space here and I can show that we
have a volume here. In this way. I will
apply my shadings. And then I would also work on
the cheekbones are little. I will actually add some more
color on the cheekbones, make them pop up a bit more. And also I would apply some more color below
the eyes beneath them. Then do the same for this part above the eyes
beneath the eyebrows. I would add some
more color on it. And also a bit more on the nose bridge at
the side of the eye. With the same procedure, I'll apply my color
on this side as well. I would also work on this
part below the nose. I will apply some more color, but Ethan nose and maybe
even a bit more under Nick. And also on the part which
is close today hair and we can see the shadow of the hair that has been
placed on the neck. I will actually work on
this part a bit more as you know, for making these shadings look more natural and making
it more attractive, you should place them in
their correct placement. And it actually creating this contrasts and
these shadings. You can make your work and your outcome look way more
better and more unique. Now on those finishing
with the skin tone. But just checking it all over again to
see wherever I need. Put some more color. And I can also apply a bit
of the shadow of the handle of my glasses frame on
my skin and my face. Just like this. Then this is my
beautiful skin tone.
52. Coloring eyebrow and eye of girl: Hello, To love my
dearest friends. We are going to continue our work in coloring
our character. Now, I want to work on my characters eyebrows and
apply the color on that area. You can see I'm
using the color 387, which I've also use in
my character's hair. And I'm using this scholar
also for my eyebrows. Obviously in the direction
that the eyebrow is growing, we should always pay
attention to this stuff. I added colors to it. I will do the same for
the other eyebrows. Well, I apply my color
and decorate direction. Then I also use my color 378. I just apply some more
color from this lower part. Then I will move on to
create my character's eyes. I mean, to call our
my character's eyes. First. I would work on
the outer part of my eyes with my black color. I will color my eyes. And then I would also go over my eyelashes with
my black color. At the same time, I go over my upper
eyelid one more time and I work on it a bit more to make it
darker and bolder. Then after that, I will go
on the lower part of my eye, on the lower eyelid, but just too little,
not too much. And I would also
apply the eyelashes. Now, I will move on to
create this other eye. I will work on the
other eye as well. Of course as I did
for the other eye. I'll create the
eyelashes over here too. Then. I will darken this line for the upper eyelid and bend
more to give it a volume. Then I will go on my
lower eyelid a bit more. I also add D eyelashes,
just like this. And I'll just move
forward a little. But I do note get too
much color on it. Then I will work inside of
my eyes, around my pupil. And I would do the same
for the other eye as well. I will add some darkness to
it and for this one as well. So as you can see, because my character's
eyes are colored, I will actually add
two colors to them. I want to choose
the color that I want to use for my pupil. My character's eyes are blue, therefore, I will use two
blue colors for my eyes. One of them is 345, that I will use it for
here for inside of my eye. And as always, I tried to keep the light inside of my eye and I try not to go into the white area between
the eyelid and the pupil. For this part. Above, I mean, for the
upper part of the eye, I will use this color more. Then. I will also use my color 300th 47 to make the colors
a bit more complete. Just like this. I would also use a bit of
my color 351 for this area. The area which is so
near the upper eyelid, just so close to that. These are my beautiful eyes. And one other thing that we should pay attention
to here is that if, if created any color or
lines mistakenly in, inside of this white area, we should definitely erase them. Then move on to the next level.
53. Coloring the lips and glasses of girl: Hello to all of my
dearest friends. We're going to continue
our work on our character. I'm using the color 387. I want to work on my
character's nose. Looking like this. I would also work on
this inner part of them, those drills, we did color 378. Then I will use my skin tone color on this
lower part of the nose, making it look like this. Then of course, I
would want to work on the part where we have the shadow of the
glass on the nose. Even we're going to work
on the nose bridge. We are coloring this area into direction of the nose
bridge to shape it better. We even want to work a little
just beneath the nose. Now I want to work on
my character's lips. And for that, I'm going to
use color 321 for her lips. First of all, I'll go
under line between the lips and then the upper lip. The lower lip with the colored. Just like this. After reworked on
this upper lip. We would also work
on the lower lip. This way. Then after that, I will use the color 392. To work on this line
between the lips. I will actually work on
it a little bit more. Then on this upper lip. Of course, the lower lip. I will continue my work a
little on this area as well. I continue this line a bit more in order to create a
beautiful smile for her. Therefore, I'd come
out a little in order to show the
line of the smile. Then again, I will use the previous color to add
some more color to the lips. And then with the skin tone, I will color this area
beneath the lips. It would look like this. This is a nose and the lips. Now I want to move on to the other parts
of the character. As you can see, def
frame of our glass in our character in the
original picture is pink. But because in our character, our skin tone is likely pink. I will use my black
color to create the frame of my glasses. Again, I say because actually in my picture you can see
the frame as pink color. But in here I have this
skin tone, almost pinkish. Cover all of my framework
with my black color. And first I started
from the connected part in the middle on the nose and then I will go
around the glasses. Obviously, I will not
make it too thick and I will keep it as
thin as possible. Then I will go over the handles and I would also
colored in black. Just as this. I would also move
to the other frame. I'll work on it as well. Something that you
should be careful is that you should
move very carefully because and you cannot create any special change here and you are working
with a dark color. Therefore, you should be very careful that where
you're moving on. In this way. This is a framework of my glasses. That color. I've just changed the color because if it worked over
the pink color again, I'm saying that it would
just get confused with our face and it wouldn't
be visible for us. That's why I've changed
the color to black. It would look like this. Now I think our work is
even more attractive. Alright. This is my
frame of my glasses.
54. Coloring the shirt of a girl: Hello, to allow my
dearest friends, we're going to continue our
work on our character here. You can see character has
a gene coat, jean jacket. Actually. I'm using the color 351, and generally I'm going to
use blue colors overall. But right now I am using
this color in order to work around my whole jacket. Then I'll continue my work. But other colors. Because our character's hair
is coming on our jacket, we do not want to work a lot
on our characters jacket, just enough to show
she's wearing something. Now, after I've gone
around my work. Other blues like 347
to color my jacket. I'm applying this 347 for my base and foundation
color of the jacket. And then I'll continue my work for the
rest of the colors. We add a bit more colors. We get the colors that we
want and we come down as much as the end of the hair and recreate color
for our jacket. This way. Then I will work on this inner part
of the jacket and also the spaces that have been created between the hair parts. I will use my blue color in those spaces in order to show that our jacket
beneath our hair. Like this. Because my character's
hair is long. Cannot be seen too much, but we should actually created
as much as we can see it. I will work on
these parts where I have my character's hair. I will use my color 351. Work on these areas a bit darker in order to show the shadow of my
hair under jacket. Therefore, these parts
would be darker. Parts should be
darker obviously. Then for her shoulders
and the slave, I will also work a
bit of this color in order to make these
parts a bit darker. So I'll use my darker blue
on these areas a bit more. Then. I will go around this part
which we have the hair. Because we're having
some shadows here. I would apply more
colors over here. And I will do the same for
this inner side as well. I would also go
around this part at this side of the hair and
I will add my blue color. Just like this. I am covering all the parts that are needed like this. Well, also it can
work on these parts and make them curved. I mean, we can create ups
and downs in here to show that the texture of
this area is Fabric. And also it has a volume. Then I will use my light blue one more time.
On top of it. This is my characters jackets. But again, I say that again, not work too much on our jacket because we can see
a little love it. We cannot see too much of it. Therefore, still we
should work on it. This is a character style. I can fork on these ending parts of my hair
a little with this color. Now that my work is almost
finishing completely, I can add some more color to these areas to
make them ship it. Or jay can see, I work a little bit
more on the hair, especially in the parts which
are coming on my jacket. Obviously. You can work on the hair
as much as you want. This way. Can also work a little. This area where our chin
gets connected to the hair. Now our character, and we can also add a bit more color in this area to make a contrast and make it
separated from my neck. This is my character.
55. Sketching the general shape of man's face: Hello to all of my
dearest friends. We are back again with
another tutorial session. In this session, we are going to work on our character's face. I mean, we're going to sketch this character's
face first of all. And then we can completed and
proceeded and improve it. Alright? First of all, I started with the general shape of my work. I will start from the
skull in order to create the shape of the head. As usual. Does I'm working on the skull. I know that after that, I should add jaw
of my character. Something that you
should know about this character is
that as you can see, our character has
an angular face. I'm going to show
that exactly in my character's face right now. Because we are
creating a character based on our real face, on a real picture. Therefore, I'm going
to work on this. Okay, Here we go. Now I want to work on
my characters neck. And I would also want to add
the neck to this character. Obviously, I will create
the Kohler as well. We'll all be in this way. I will bring the color
from the sides downward. And then I will continue
from this inner part. And again, I drag it down. I would do the same for
the opposite side as well. Then for the outer
part of the colon, I will create a shape like this in order to show it perfectly. Then after that,
I want to work on the shoulders and I would
also want to create that. I'll add it to my work. Then I'll zoom out. I want to create the risks
of the work a bit more. First of all, I will create my main guidelines
as always as usual. Then I will create
the face based on the patterns and shapes that I can see
in my original work. Original picture, actually. Then move on to the rest
of my face components. Obviously, first of all, I would apply their guidelines. I would apply guidelines
for each of them, the placement of the eyebrows, the placement of
the eyes, the nose. Then at last, the placement of my character's
mouth and lips. Now I want to create the general volume of
my character's hair, which is careless and messy. So we just try to create
the same shape exactly. Try to make his hair
a bit more tidy. And the element eliminate
each part that we think is unnecessary in order to make our work look
way more attractive. In this way, it'll
work on the hair. Hair is messy. Yet. We just apply some more
order for his hair. Do not do it exactly as
we've seen the picture. Just try to get a bit more tidy. Also from this side, I would look and see where
parts are better to be created and which parts are
better to be eliminated. Maybe I can create this
part of the hair coming into the face a little That
would be fun and cute. I'm just going to create it. Then. I would work on the rest of
the hair also from this site. If you zoom in, you can see that the
hair is not tidy at all. It's too messy. And it doesn't have
any special order yet. We just create some
kind of a pattern for our hair because we are creating a fun character,
acute character here, as you can see from here, if you look at it, you can consider a pattern
generally in all of the hair, you just eliminate
the parts coming out of this especially
specific pattern. I would also determine the
placement of the ears. I mean, I will determine
the bottom part of the ears and if you create
a guideline for it, you can see it goes
through our lips. I'll did as much as it goes underneath the hair and
it can be seen anymore. This way. Then for this inner part of the hair, I will work on it
a little this way. Then if I want, I can't add a bit to my
hair's volume in this way. Then. We can also add some of the missing
has of the hair, some of the mess of the
hair in these parts. And completely randomly. I just create some of
these hair coming out of our specific pattern randomly. We can also do the
same from this part. Also from this side. As you can see, I'm just creating
some shapes here. Just add a little
to the whole work. Again, I say we're just
doing it so randomly, we do not use any a specific
order to create this, this order it is and these
mess coming out of the hair. This is a general shape of our
character's face and head. I just want to work on his
neck a bit more better. And then I would apply the angles and I will emphasize on two angles
that I've told you. Our face has this character.
56. Sketching eyebrow and eye of man: Hello, My dearest friends. We are going to continue
our work on our character. This thigh, we're
going to work on our characters
eyebrows and eyes. As you can see. In our face, the eyebrows
are in this shape. We try to apply this shape
exactly into our work. We just follow the pattern. We create our patterns
based on what we see in our models picture. This is actually
essential for making better characters and creating
more beautiful characters. And why we are doing this
should pay attention to that What special aspects and
features are characters have? Because we are actually creating our character
from a picture. Therefore, our reference is
determined an obvious clear. So we should be careful
in how we are proceeding. Our characters has glasses. This is what we
actually consider. And if you pay attention, the shape of the eye is a very determined
and clear shapes. So we can easily
create this shape. It's simpler shapes here. Then later, we can
work on it so easily. Then we can work
on the eye itself. We will separated from the
line above the upper eyelid. Then we will work inside of the eye and
create a pupil for him. Then we will do the
same for the other eye. We will create its general
shape in this way. Then after that, I'll just create
pupil inside of it. In this way. We can have all the shapes
in simpler shapes. I mean, we can see all different
parts in simpler shapes. Then we can add
them to our work. First, I consider this i, and then I'll work on it. I'll do the same. For the other eye as well. I create inside of the pupil. Then for making my
work even better. I will continue these sidelines. Therefore, I can connect my
eyebrows to the nose bridge and I can keep all parts of my face adequate
compared to each other. These are my character's
eyes and eyebrows. And as you can see, part of the hair has come
inside of the eyebrows. So we can continue this
part of the hair and bring it onto our eyebrow. Bring it down. As much as this. We can actually apply
it on our eyebrows. We can also work
inside of the eyebrows and create the general
shape of my eyes. I just work on it
a little bit more. Then. I can erase this
middle line between them. Because I want my
work to be seen cleaner and you can actually divide the
lines from each other, make it more clean
and better looking. These are the shapes of
my eyes. Hazel eyes. This way.
57. Sketching the nose, lips, glasses, mustache and beard of man: Hello, My dearest friends. We are going to continue
our work on our characters. I'm going to work on my
glasses, on my face. First of all, I start my
work creating my glasses. I mean the gas for my glasses. This way. Then obviously, I look at the general shape of my characters gases
and its frame. I would want to see
how it looks like. I just created like this
on my work furnace area. I'm going to continue upward. Then I create a shape like this. It has a batch of a volume. Therefore, I will add it
to the rest of my work. Then I would also
create the handles. And I will also create
the other handle as well. To handle of our glasses can
be seen a little bit more. Then I would want to create
the volume of the glasses. I want to create
the outer volume of the frame and then the inner
part of it will be created. Then I would want to
work on the nose. As you can see, our nose has some kind
of a special shape. I just tried to bring it
exactly into my character. I will transfer this
shape to my character. First of all, I create
a general shape. Then after that,
I will apply it. I mean, work on it more and more until I get the shape
that I want out of it. This way. I would also do the same for the other side because
he shouldn't look symmetrical and I should
just create both parts, both sides the same way. I would move on to my
character's lips and his mouth. Then I try to see
how it looks like. I would want to see how
my character looks like. He has a mustache. I would also consider
that as well, which looks like this. Then I would use some hatches. And I will create
his most stash, just creating some short lines. And it would look like this. Then we create the upper lip. Then we move on to the
lower lip as well. Like this. Then we would pay
attention that the chin is exactly ending because
character has also some beard. We should pay attention where
we should finish the chin. Therefore, in this way, we will create our
characters beard. We start from this side and
we come down and we create a general volume for the beard area. Here we go. Then we would hatch it like this with very
short and small lines. We will hatch this
area to create that kind of a hair texture. Jess than this way. Then we use short, small lines. We would work on the beard. Again, as I said before, retry to create
short small lines. My dearest friends, this
is the general shape of our face for this character
would look like this. It has some lot of details. I should also definitely erase the extra
parts from my work. Just this part on the throat. We can also see some
kind of a shadow. Also. Apply it this way. Then inside of the hair. We can use some lines to determine the
direction of the hair. And also does thigh love it? Inside of the ear? Also going to use some lines
in order to make it better. Of course. We should also see that our character has an earring on
one of his ears, his left ear, we
can see an earring. Kim easily added
into our character. Just in this way. This is his neck and
the color of his shirt. Therefore, he would
look like this.
58. Illustration of the general form of the face of man: Hello to all of my
dearest friends. I'm back again with another
tutorial session for you. In this session we are going
to create this character and we are going to create the
image of it in our own way. We're going to start with creating this
skull of my character. Obviously. As you can see, we can get the general
shape of the skull and the general shape of
the face so easily. Based on our work, based on our picture, we can do this. And even if you don't want to, you can create some changes into your work in order
to make it more funny. Now we are going to create
some differences and changes. Therefore, we can actually
represent a funnier work. I mean, a cuter work at the end. Now, I would want to create the face of my
character like this. Then I would create his neck. And also I will work on the shape
of his clothes. I don't go into the
details too much. I just grade the general
shapes right now. Now, according to our picture
that we are working on, we will create our
general shapes. Just as you can see here. Then we'll come over here. And if we want, we can apply some
changes in our work. This way should be done. I create the Kohler and then I go toward the shoulders
of my character. Lastly, I'll do the same
for the other side. As you can see, I'm
creating his shoulders a bit smaller comparing to
what we've seen to picture. It doesn't have that
much broad shoulders in our character. If you pay attention, we have some designs on our
character's shirt, t-shirt. Later on if you want, you can actually apply
this design as well. On our characters. Shirt. Dress. As easy as this, I will work on my clouds. Then I move on to
create the buttons. I'll add them. I do not create
rest of my clothes. This is enough up to this part. Then I come back to
my character's face. We want our character
to be cuter. First of all, we start creating this sense with the
shape of the hair. As you can see, our character got his hair open and just going
from both sides. It's not really a tidy shape. We can even created funnier. And cuter. First of all, I create a general shape of
my character in this way. Then after that, I
will continue my work. My dear friends. Even for a year. I can extend the hair a bit more and I can
show them a bit more. Then also, on the other side, I will bring down to
hair dressed like this. Then we will have our hair. And then for beginning part of the hair to
front part of the hair, I create the shape that
I can see in my picture because he looks fun as it is. I'll move on with my work and
I actually bring a part of my character's hair
insight into his face just to make it more
cute. That's it. That is my only goal. As you can see, I'm bringing my work forward. And also from this
part I can bring the hair a bit more into the face to make it more
similar to my model, and also to make it cuter. These was the shape of the hair, the general shape of
the hair, of course. For this front part of the hair, I can even make them
look cuter and funnier. Going to show you how. Show you two models into methods that you'd be free
to use either of them. The first way is to
create a hair like this. I bring the hair into the face. Looking shape. I'm giving it at
Morris specific shape, which is obviously funnier. Then you can work on, you can work with either of
them for your character. Then I will create
my characters ears. I can bring the hair to zip back of my ear
to behind my ear. And I will use my guideline
to create the other ear. On the other side of the head. I can I'm bringing my hair
behind my ear like this.
59. Illustration of eyebrow, eye shape and glasses: Hello to all of my
dearest friends. We are going to
continue our work on creating this character. This time we're going to work
on the eyebrows, the eyes. Now I'm going to
use my guidelines. And also this middle line here. I'm going to use
these because I want my work be cohesive. Now first I will create
the shape of the eyebrows. First of all, I should tell
you that I will create my eyebrows for my
character, this shape. Because we are going
to color this work. We just create a primary
sketch for our work. And then later with
colored pencils, we will go over the
details for it. In this way. I will create the eyebrows. I want to work on my
character's eyes. I would want to work
on the eyes like this. Then. Considering the other eye, I will use my guidance
lines guidelines and I would work on
the other eye as well. Just as easy as
you can see here. Well, I can almost say that we are considering the eye as
a shape of a semicircle. And then they've created a straight line for
the bottom part of the eye and circular
recurved part. Curved line for the upper eyelid and upper part of the eye. I will work on inside of my eye, the pupil, the iris. It should look like this. We are creating a very, very funny and cute
character together. Then we would want
to work inside. Then I will apply the
shine of the eye, which is so important
in this way. Then this is it. These are my characters,
beautiful, beautiful eyes. Now, my character
also has glasses. Therefore, I'm going to create a cute and fun glasses for him. Again, I repeat that because we are working
based on a picture, can get even more ideas. I'm going to create a fun, I'm going to create
fun glasses for him. And as you can see, I'm creating around
glasses for him. Actually, despite what we can see in the original picture, because in original picture, He's guises has a
special shape and form. But because I want my
character to be cuter, I will work on it like this. This way. As you can see, came over here. And as the opposite
of what it was. I've created around at glass. For my character. Then I will give some more
dimension to my glasses. I will separate the glass from
the frame of the glasses. In this way, I can also
reduce the size of my glasses because I'm showing that a part
of it is the frame. This is my glasses, dad VIF considered for
our character here. Now it would look like this. We just make the handles
of the frame a bit better. Then in this way, I can also create the
eyebrows for my character. Then, considering the frames, I can make the glasses, make the handles of the
glasses EBIT longer.
60. Illustration of the shape of the nose, lips, mustache and beard: Hello to all of my
dearest friends again, we are going to continue
our work on our character. And this time I want to
create my character's nose. And maybe he is mustache. I create a circular area and big and funny nose
for my character, which looks also a bit chubby. This way that first I
will create a circle. Then I'll also apply the
nostrils inside of it. Just like this. I will consider a linear mouth for my character that
would look like this. As you can see. We'll create a completely
linear theory mouth and completely
thin lips for him. Because I want to show
that he has thin lips. Now I can come over here and create some fun
mustache for him. Or otherwise. I can actually eliminate all
of the mustache and beard. But this time I wanted to create kind of a fun
mustache for him. This way. You see how
cute it looks now? It looks even cuter than it
was without the mustache. That is why I chose to create one for him. Then. I can also create
some beard for him. Not too much, but just a
little would be enough. Or actually, we can also eliminate
the beard from our face. But as I'm doing right now, you can create it. It totally depends on you, on your tastes and creativity that you want
to bring into your work. Here, I thought if he has a bit of acute
beard and mustache, the whole work would
be cuter and funnier. But if you don't want to, you can just eliminate
them from your character. It totally depends on
your own personal taste. In which direction you want
to progress your work. Looking like this. I believe that in
this way it's even cuter with mustache and beard. And this is my beautiful fun
character and not beautiful, but it looks funny and cute. Now, next, we will try to
complete the primary sketch. And then after that, obviously, we want
to do the coloring.
61. Coloring the left side of the hair: Hello, my dear friends. We are continuing our
work on this character. Now together we are
going to lighten our primary sketch in order
to start coloring guy work. Now, I will lighten the
parts that are needed. I will erase the part which should be completely eliminated, which are the guidelines. Actually, we don't
need them anymore. I'm using my eraser to lighten or erase any part of my work. And we do this a lightning. I mean, we lighten our lines in our primary sketch in order not to get our colorings messy, we would not see these
black lines from underneath our colors because
that Omeka disaster always, after we've lightened them, we will come to the lines that should be completely erased. Guidelines. I've lightened lines. Now. I want to work on the parts which should be
completely erased. As I said before, the guidelines are
the main lines which should be completely erased. Next, we should erase
the lines which have been sketched by mistake, which have been
drawn by mistake. Then we just erase
the lines which do not have any use for us. Then they all
obviously clear off the extra parts of the eraser from our
work with our brush. And this started our coloring. I wanted to start from my character's hair
for my coloring. As you can see, he has almost brown hair. Therefore, I would start with
the color 378 for his hair. As you can see, his hair is not too
dark or too light. It's medium. Therefore, I choose this
color to work on his hair. But of course later on, I will continue my work
with other colors. I mean, definitely
I would not use only one color on the
hair or any other parts. First of all, I do
a framework all around the hair with this color. I just determined the
lines from both sides. And then I start from
this part to color. It just like this. I will determine different
parts of the hair, my color. Then I start from
this part to color my work into direction
of my hair growing. So I started coloring
into direction that my hair has grown and
it's been a styled. Okay. We have almost
separated our work into different parts because their hair is really messy
and it's not tidy at all. Therefore, we've
created the hair by dividing it into different parts to create a good
volume out of it. Now, I'm just using a
background color for the hair. This way. Then I will continue my
work with next colors. I'm going to use lighter
colors like 387. I will use both lighter colors and dark colors in my work. But I prefer to start with this color for my
character's hair. I apply some parts. I mean, I'll create some parts darker and some other
parts should be lighter in this way. Alright. Now for this front
part of the hair, I'm going to use different colors for this
front part of the hair. I will use my color 380, which would look like this. And I would apply
color on some levels. And some parts. I will actually work on this part which my
hair is growing. The root of the hair would
be colored with this. For the parts which are going to be separated from the root. I can also use the same
color in this way. Then I will move on to
create lighter colors. I'm going to use my car 383 on some parts because I have a difference in my hair. I mean, I have a difference
of color in my hair and I have so much
contrast in this area. I'm trying to create it
with different colors, the lighter colors
and darker colors. I will use lighter
colors in some parts. And then I again, I just switch to color 387, darker colors. This way.
62. Continued coloring the left side of the character: Hello to my dearest friends. We are continuing our work
on our boy character. I'm using the color 376, and I am using it to
create the risks of the hair, this face. So I can have two different parts of the
hair that I've separated. I'm going to use this scholar to actually show that
separation even better. Then for the place
that the hair grows, I will emphasize this color
a bit more and I will use it a bit more. Then. I will use it for the
other colors as well. Then I will use the color 378 for this area. Then I will give my hair
base foundation color, and then I will continue my work with the
rest of the colors. This way. Then I will use some
lighter colors. Try not to work on the
hair in a same way. Because the hair should
have some differences. I mean, the hair
should be different. For our work to look
more attractive. Then. I would create
the shape of my hair. Like this. I would work on my
hair part by part. I will separate it part by part. It can both show the
shape of our hair. And at the same time, work would look more attractive. And I will color this area in the direction that the hair
grows and it's been a styled. Then I will use darker
colors to continue our work. This way. Now we will have our hair. Actually. All types of hair will be
created from different colors. They shouldn't be
all the same color. As you can see, we are combining so many
different colors in order to get the result that
I want at the end. And in different parts I'm
using different colors. As you can see with
changing the colors, I am improving my work. I will create different
parts of the hair color. Each one of them in
different shapes, will continue coloring until we get the outcome that we want. Until work is done. We can actually
color part by part. Or we can create the corners is size and edges of the hair
just normally toward down. You should see which way
it makes your character to look cuter and more fun. If we bring these to the back and we show that these
are separated volumes, work would look even better
and more attractive, even more than this. Surprise, these parts from each other only using
different colors. For example, right here, I'm going to use a darker color. To continue my work. Dressed like this. I will apply different
colors on top of each other. And this would look so cute
because at the same time, I'm creating cute
shapes for him. Because actually we are considering different parts for different shapes of the hair. This way. We will just move
our work forward. I'm going to use my color 380 for some parts, of course, as you can see. Because I want them
to look like this. Even you can add some lights
to some parts of the hair. For doing that. You can use your white color. If you apply your white
color on these areas, you can have some shine
and actually some light on the hair would be even shinier and more
attractive. Alright. Then we'd darker colors will create the
volumes that we want.
63. Coloring the right hair: My dearest friends,
we are continuing our work on our character
with the color 378. I'm going to continue
my work onto hair. I'm actually applying the Bayes and background
color for the hair. I started with this
lower part of the hair. I apply my background
color here. We move to our darker colors on this lower part of the hair. Because as you can see, these parts are behind and they can be seen lists and darker. I'm going to use
darker colors here. I'm using the color 376 here. I will bring the colors
toward darker colors. Just as this. I will use my
colors in this way. Would also use black color. My work a little, just as you can see. Again, I say we are
using darker colors because we're at the
bottom parts of the hair. I'm also going to use the color 380. In this way. We will make it
into darker colors. Because I don't want to
create strong border between my colors and strong
difference between my colors. We will also use this dark color on this
lower parts behind the ear. I'm using my color
376 on these areas a little because I don't want my colors to be so
different, so sudden. For these upper parts, I will actually use
more colors here. Just as this. I will actually darken
this area a bit more. Parts which we can see
some shading and shadows. The roots of the hair. Looking like this. Now in the opposite
side of my work, I tried to do this same and create the colors that I want. Therefore, this would
look like this. I will continue my work
in this direction. You can just work on
the hair like this. You can do it by
hitting and tapping, or you can just create the
colors cohesively like this. I mean, you can just as
you can see my work, drag your hand and take
it off at the end. Or you can just go back
and forth and color it. The most important thing
here is only to be in the direction of the
hair growing and a style. This is the most
important thing here. In all parts of your work, the direction should be completely clear and
you shouldn't go just completely different
direction which is not related to your
whole work notice rule. You should be really careful
about the directions. As you can see, I'm applying the colors from the
top to the bottom. Now for this front
part of the hair, I will use darker color. So I will have this area covered just in order to show the root of
the head apart that the hair is growing bit more
and make it a bit bolder. This part is obviously closer
to our face, therefore, it will have a shadow and
we'll create a shading for it. Look like this. And I just move forward with this same procedure and
same method in my coloring. For this front
parts of the hair. I will also use darker color. For the parts which are in
the medulla of the hair. You can use lighter colors because also show that these
parts are more prominent. And even in your model, you can see this contrast. You can create a hair into direction that I'm showing for
you right here, right now.
64. Continued coloring the of the right side of the hair: Hello again, my dearest friends. I'm using to color 378 for the base and
foundation color for my hair will continue. And the direction that our
hair is growing and is styled. Almost as I get to the
ending part of the hair. We just continue our
coloring the same way. This way. In these ending part of the hair, I would apply darker colors, so I will use the color 376 on
this area as well. Now for this part which
is near the face, I will use darker colors. Just as this. I would work on different
parts of the hair. I will actually apply
different colors on it. In order to make your work
even more attractive. Like what I'm doing right now. I'm using different colors in different parts of the hair. I create that contrast. I will just move on
with the same color. And then later I will use
darker colors on top of it. Only in some parts of the
hair and don't everywhere. Now I'm going to use the
color number 300 AD for this area to cover this ending part of the hair. Here we go. Then after that,
I can also apply some black color
up to some levels. I mean, not too much, but I can use my black
color over here a little. For this lower part of the hair. Alright, can apply this color, which is obviously darker. Even if you look at
your original model. Then I'm going to
use it editable on this front part of the hair. The beginning part of the hair, the point that the
hair is growing from. All right, so this is my character's hair. We even can continue
it for coloring. And again, as always, as much you spend time on it, you will have better results
with better, better details. Sorry. But I believe this
is enough for now. But at the end, if I saw that I need
more color in any area, I can always add more to that. But I think it's enough for now.
65. Start coloring skin: Hello, dear friends. We are going to use our skin tone color
with the color 330, which is always, I mean, most of the times the base
color for our skin tone. We start from one part and
we apply our skin tone. In this way. We will actually
move our work forward. I would also bring my color between the hair
and that I've created. Because the hair is actually
coming to the forehead. I have to Applies some skin
tone color between them. I'd be careful not
to go inside of the eyebrows because they
should not be colored this way. But I would apply my color between the eyebrows,
which isn't necessary. I tried to cover
all apart my face. For the parts where I should
have skin tone, color. I will use this pencil
and I would go over all the parts that
needs skin texture. Wherever I have other
textures and other things, I will note apply this color, for example, inside of the eye. I would not use this
scholar at all. You should be very
careful with this. It's better if you prevent
going inside of these parts. I would also apply
this inside of my glasses because
they're made of glass. So you can see through them and you can see
the skin behind them. So what I'm gonna do, I would also, I would
note apply my color on the part where
I want to create my characters, beard, mustache. I will also go over
the years and I color them in this way. Then I will use other
colors on top of it. Just after I've applied some more color on my neck
because it's also skin. So it should has this scholar. If you pay attention, my skin on my face has a
ton of drove orange color. The skin on the face. Therefore, with the
okra color 383. I will add this tonnage of orange color to my
character's face, especially on the
sides of the face. And even in some parts, we have pink color that
we would apply later. Based on our
character's skin tone, we would actually
precede our work. We will create different colors on different parts of the face. As I said, I will use my AUC color on the size
of the face to create that orange tonnage
that we can see on the skin of the face. And I would also use EBIT of my orange color
directly on my work. The color number 316 would be used on the sites to increase that orange tonnage more and get a color that
I want as the result. That's what I'm doing right now. Especially again, I say
on the sides of the skin, on the sides of the face, I'm using this color. I will apply this
scholar onto my face. With this method that
you're watching right now. I will do it wherever
I feel like I need it. For this size of the phase. Near the hair, I will do this. Here we go. For the
inner part of the face. I mean, for this central
area of the face, I will use different colors. I would not go those parts with this color
that I'm holding right now. Now, I'm going to
use my pink color 329 for the cheekbone area and also for my forehead. Then we did combination
of different colors. We can get a great outcome for our skin tone
color in general. As easy as you've just seen. You should just sue. I mean, you should
just have to pick up the correct colors
for each part. You should pick the
correct combination. We also use this
color for Beneath the eyebrows and
the nose as well. Part inside of the glasses
needs more coloring, therefore, I'm applying it. And then for the
shadow of our glasses, we should also have
some more color because this area is darker. Because of the shadow of
the glass on the skin. I would also go beneath and below my glasses,
frames, and handles.
66. Continued coloring the skin: Hello again. My dearest
friends are going to continue our work on our character
and on his skin. As we can all see here. Work on the colors a bit more. And I'm actually applying the
colors onto ears right now. Then I will use my brown color 378 and little in the
inner parts of my ear. I can make those
parts a bit darker in order to give them
a kind of depth. And I wanted to show that
they have a depth and volume. For example, for these
sides of the ears, I can also use this
color as well. Now, I would want to work on these parts at
the sides of the face. I'm applying more color
these sides of the face because I want the shadow of my hair and the shadings of my hair to be clear on the face. And also I want to separate the skin tone from
the color of the hair. And as you can see, the hair has a shading, has a shadow on the face that
we can actually show it. We'd working a bit
more on our skin tone. One of the things that we want to show this way, these are the parts
underneath the eyebrow. And we apply a bit
more color on them. The parts underneath
the glasses. And we also use a bit of our pink color for these parts underneath the eyebrows and
even above the eyebrows. Then a bit on the cheekbones also will do the same for the deck. I'm going to use more
color onto Nick. I meant that we will apply the shadings for
the neck more and more. This way.
67. Eyebrow and eye coloring: Hello, My dearest
friends, I'm back again. We are going to
continue our work. I'm going to color the
eyebrows with the number 378. I'm going to use this
scholar on my eyebrows. I will color in the
direction of the hair growing inside of the eyebrow. Of course. Why you are actually
applying the color. In some parts like this, which includes the hair texture, you should really
pay attention to the direction of your coloring. In this way. I will create the
color of my eyebrow. I'll do the same
for the other one. Color my eyebrow in
the correct direction. Then use a bit darker color 376. To work a bit more on this area. Now, I will apply color to even the lower
parts of the eyebrow. It just as you can see, these were my eyebrows. I want to move on to create
my character's eyes. I want to work on
that with the color, I mean, with the black color. I will continue my work here. This way. Just as
you can see here. I would work on this outer
part of the eye easily. Here we go. Then I would also work
on the other eye. The same way. Create. I mean, I will go over
and around the whole eye, especially the outer part of it. Then for this inner
part of the eye, I will actually do
this framework for an, a pupil and also for the darkness
inside of the eye. This way. Then I would do the
same for the other eye. Then after that, I
will use a bit of my brown color around my eyes. The outer part of the
eyes will be colored with brown. Once more. I feel paying attention. The eyes of our
character are not colored and he doesn't
have colored eyes. So I will use my brown color for this inner part of the eye, for his pupil and iris. That I actually use my brown color inside of this area that you're
seeing right now. In this way. Then of course, be careful not to go
inside of the light. Inside of the eyes. I just work on the dark parts. Inside of the eye is not
delights inside of them. Be careful about this. And then I'm also working on these parts. Around the eyes. I would apply more
color for these parts. Looking like this. These are our eyes. Then I can work on
my eyebrows as well. We can apply more color on them. We're actually creating the
volume for our eyebrow. We are showing the volume of our eyebrows because we want to do the same
for both eyebrows. This is it. This is my eyebrow.
68. Coloring the glasses: Hello, My dearest friends.
We are here again. We have the continuous of
our work on our character. Well, now I want to work
on my characters glasses. First, I want to use black color for going over
the frame of my glasses. You should pay attention
to that when you're using a dark color on your
character's face, you should be very, very careful on your
work because this is a dark color and your face has a lightest
skin and light color. Therefore, the possibility of mistake will be so high in here. And if you make a mistake, it will ruin your whole work. Therefore, you should have
so much more attention here. You should be really, really
careful in this area. In order not to apply the
colors in the wrong places. You should move on
the right lines. Be really careful about that. As you can see, I worked on the outer part of my characters glass
on the frame. Now for this inner part, I will start from
here, like this. Now I would move
to the other side. I mean, the other part of my glasses would also do
the framework for this one. Just in this way. You should be really careful
that movements that you do should be so
precise and exact. And definitely you should go only underlines
of your frame. Now, I want to color the area between the two
lines of the frame. The frame itself because
by now I was just creating the lines around
the frame in this way. After I've paid attention
and it was I mean, after I've checked it
and it was correct. I can work on some other parts. After I've checked my framework. I mean, delineate,
reframe working. I can just start
coloring my frame. I just do the last checkups. And now I want to color
inside of my frame. And we've just done
that in order to see both sides of my glasses
look completely the same. Now I will start from
my frames handles. And first of all, I will color these
areas. This way. I start from one side. I actually add the colors. In this way. Be careful that I will move exactly
between my two lines. Then for this middle
part of the glass, this middle part of the
frame on the nose bridge, then the other glasses, the other side of the glasses. Just in this way. Move between the lines. I will actually apply
the color over here. I would also color
the other handle. Other point here is that
because our color is black, you can see the white parts of the paper more and more they
will show themselves more. In order to cover
these white parts. I will also use my brown color, my dark brown color
over these parts. Not too much, but I can
use a little of them. Will look like this. My work will look
more attractive. And at the same time, the white parts of my work
can't be seen anymore. They will be all covered. Here we go. This way. I will use this
color in order to cover all the white parts on my paper and make my work
even more attractive, like the color of my gases even better and more attractive. I think it's enough up to this level because we don't
want to overdo anything. Keep that in mind as well. I think it's enough.
69. Coloring the nose, lips, mustache and beard: Hello, My dearest friends. Going to work on the
nose with the color 376. I'm going to do it
with this color. I'm going to work on
the nostrils Scholar. Then I will fill inside of it. Then after that, I will use this color for
the sides of the nose. Then I also want to
color this area, the nose tip this way. And then again, I
would want to work on the nostrils with
their color 376 until it looks like this. For this part. On top of the nose, I will use my color 387. Like this. I will move on to my character's lips, and I will use my
color 321 on dinos. I would work on the upper lip. And because my
character has mustache, I should create deliver
with the mustache. I mean, while I'm
working on the lip, I should consider that
mustache is coming on top of it or even on
some parts over it. But after I've determined
the parts of the lips, then I will move on to create
and color the most stash. Because this way is better. I want to work on my
characters must sash. I want to use my brown color 376 to create my
characters mustache. I could also use
lines next to each other in the same direction, which is the direction
of the hair growing. To create what I want
as the most Nash. And then I would do the same on the other
side of the face. Just apply the same procedure. I'll continue my work here. Then. I would also do the same
for the beard area. I started from this
part beneath the lips. And then from the side of my face, move downward. Just as you can see. See between the lines. I have some space. I mean, I'll create some space because I
want to show that these are hair that we are working on actually for showing
the texture of the work. We have to create some
space between them. You do not need to
work on the whole area all at once and in the
same shape and way. You can actually apply some space between your lines
that you're creating here. As easy as this, I would start my work. Then I would also do the same for the central
middle area. Just as easy as this. I will use small
and short lines. I'll cover this area. At the same time, I'm showing the volume. I'm showing that this part
we have hair texture. Then for this side part, I'll do the same direction that our eyebrow is growing. And I'll come down. This was my characters beard
and also his mustache, which we've created earlier. Then for the neck area, we also add to the concentration
of the hair a bit more. And after that, I'm
going to use my color 392 on my lips in order to
just show them a bit more. Because I don't want them to get lost among all
the work that we've done here on the lower lip. And then after that, the upper lip, we
cover the whole area.
70. Coloring the shirt of the boy: Hello, My dearest friends. Going to continue our work
on our character here. Well, now I'm going to work
on my characters clothes. And I'm starting my work with
blue color, which is 345. Color that I'm
using for my work. Is this point that I
should tell you about. My character is close, is that if you can see
it has a design on it. I want to create that design
on my character as well. For this color, some parts blue, and I leave some
other parts white. I can get the design that
I can see correctly. Start coloring from this
side, from this corner. Then I leave apart white. So I've decided to create the design that
I can see on his shirt. I would do the same for this
other side of my shirt. I would color it here. Then on the other side, we'll also cover some parts blue and leave some parts white. Because we can see this design on both sides of the shirt. I want to use a bit of my turquoise color
on it, which is 361. Because if you pay attention, the color of our shared
is not completely blew. It has a bit of turquoise in it. I'm actually combining these
two colors in order to create my final color. As a result. I'm going to use it for
this part in order to make my work even more attractive. Now I want to create the design
which I have on my shirt. I'm going to use color 344. And I would apply these shapes and designs which
we can see on the shirt. Should be careful
that because this is the part of the close
which is folded and twisted, we cannot see any of
the designs completely. We just going to create
these designs part by part. Because we cannot see any
parts of it completely. Recreate them randomly
in different parts. As exactly we can see. In our model. We see, we cannot see any
complete designs onto coal are we can see only parts of
it because it's been folded. Has a twist and
bolts of wrinkles. These things will actually, the things that make
your work more unique and very more attractive,
lot more attractive. Now, after I've done that, I will apply some darker color for the neck and
the body over here. In order to show that there
is a volume over here. Therefore, I would just
color this area in this way. Then we will be
considering the shadow of the shirt on the
skin and vice versa. Therefore. In these parts we
would have definitely darker colors looking like this. Okay, My dearest friends, I want to work on the rest of my shirt, my characters shared. Again, I will use my
blue color on it. Generally, I will continue with all the colors that
I've already used. This way. For this
part of the clothes, if you pay attention, some parts again are white and
some other parts are blue. Enter quite exactly. Do it in here as well. Color some parts in my work, and I keep some
other parts white. There it is. Like this. I would
continue my work. For example. I can do
this here as well. Then I can actually work
on the rest of my clothes. This way. Their work will also be more
attractive this way. And then wherever
I have my clothes, full list, for
example, the volar, my shirt, I should add
some more shadings to it. And in order to do that, I will use the car 351
to create a shading over here which my
Kohler has been folded. Go over it once with this color. Then I will actually use darker colors to
continue my work. I'm going to use my color 344. And I apply some
shadings on this area. This way. Then I will also use some of my black color on
top of all of them. Now again, I will move
on to create clouds. I will apply my color 361, which is a third turquoise. And I would apply
it on this part that I've already colored. Blue. Look like this. I apply the color on the parts where I have done my blue color.
71. Continued coloring the shirt of the boy: Hello, My dearest friends again. We're going to
continue our work on characters, quotes, his shirt. Actually. As you can clearly see, we are applying the colors and we are combining
with each other. So we can get the design on our shirt and our
character as well. Now I want to create
the design of my shirt. In here. If you pay attention, you can see also a
design of treelike that is placed here
on this lower parts. First of all, I create
the design of the tree. Then I will move on to the branches and other parts that I can see on my clothes. For example, in here, I apply the design of the tree. I'm just going to show a little like this. Then. I'm going to use delete
leaves pattern on top of it, as I can see in my
original model. If you pay attention, I've twisted this area. I've turned it because our
clothes is made of fabric. And fabric cannot have a completely strict
and straight lines. We should consider that
while we are working. I'm going to work on this
lower part of my clouds, this area that I've left out, which includes the clouds, I will apply the rest
of my colorings. Looking like this. I will apply my blue color. Then move on to use
my turquoise color. I would also apply it
on this area. This way. Then I will apply the design
of my tree on top of it. In this way. For example, I will create
another part from this side. Then I would also
apply branches. Also some leaves for it. Just add some leaves to my work. This way. For my sleeves. I'm going to use the color 351. I was surprised this
area look like this. Then after that, I will
apply my blue color, then my turquoise on it. This way. As you can clearly see it. After I've added my blue color, I will create my
turquoise scholar. I mean, I will apply my
turquoise color here. I'll combine it
with other colors. Then after that, I will use
to design on my fabric. I'll use it to create
a pattern over here. And also because I
want to show that my fabric has twisted
and it has a dimension. I will apply some
more designs here, and I will create.
72. Finished coloring the shirt of the boy: Hello, My dearest friends. We are going to continue
our work on our character. For this blue part, I'm applying my
turquoise color as well. The area that I've
already applied by blue color, use my turquoise. Then for this lower part, I will also do the same. First, I apply my blue color, and then later, I will add
my design definite length. This way. I will move my work forward. Just says this. Then obviously I will
add my turquoise color on top of my blue color
because it's not all blue. This way. As you can see here. That design has also came
to this white area as well. Therefore, because we wanted to make our work attractive to start from the blue
part and then we drag it towards the white part. This way we will make our
work even more attractive. This is the trunk of our tree. And then obviously
we use the brand, we create the branches. We create our trees, leaves. This way. Just as easy as that. And as you can see, we will progress our work and improving it. Now, after we've
created this design, we will move on to our sleeves
color with the color 351. First, I will suppress the edge of my slave, this top area. Then I will use my
color over year. I will continue coloring through this direction
because I want to show that this part of the fabric has some differences
with the other part. Wherever we should
change the direction, we can use coloring in
a different direction. Hopefully honestly. Then I will add my green.
73. Sketching the general shape of the girl's head and body: Hello, love my dearest friends. We are going to
continue our work with another tutorial session. In this session, we are going to create this character that we're seeing
in this picture. There is a point that I want
to tell you about the works which are in a full form view. These types of characters, you have different
parts of your body. Therefore, your face would
be a smaller comparing to time that you're specifically
working on the face. So you should really
pay attention to that. I you should consider that you cannot work to
March on your face and apply too much
details as you do when you are only
working on a face. Therefore, you should be careful about creating the
different parts of your work in order to make
your face in a good way. I want to create my
skull in this way. Then. I would want to create actually I wouldn't want to add the jaw to my skull. Now, if you pay attention, you can see that character is holding something in
her hand that I can, OR therefore, you
should be careful when you're working
on your sketch. I'm owning your
design and drawing. You should actually put this or in the hand of
your character. And you should create a hand in the way that it's reaching for this or Alright. Then we are going to create
our character's body. Then we will work on the
rest of the body parts. Now I want to start in
creating my character's body. Something that you should
pay attention to is that our character is wearing your clothes and
she has a skirt. Therefore, we cannot
see the whole leg. Cannot see her legs. But because I want my
character to be completely perfect in that to make shapes, we will consider the
primary shape of the legs and we
actually create them. Right now. As you can see, one
of the legs is open wide debit and it's
a bit bent it. And the other one is a straight from the knee but
it's turned a little. I'm just doing I'm
just going to do that. I mean, create a leg of
my character in this way. I will create my characters
leg in this way. Then I will consider
my ankle as well. Obviously, we should
consider that we are right now just creating
our primary sketch. And we're just creating general shapes and forms
from the parts of the body. And then later on we should come back and work on
them a bit more. Right now we're just creating
the primary sketch just to know how our body parts should be placed in our
work, in our drawing. After that, we are going
to continue our work on the details then
very-very face any problems, we can easily fix it. As you can see. The other hand of our character cannot
be seen very well, but that's not a reason
for not creating it. In our primary sketch. We should definitely
consider and create it. We should do all of these works. There you can see. Less of that body part
or the most of it. Now also going to create the
hand that has the orange. I'm just going to
create it like this. Then. I want to create
my wrist hand obviously. Because we are holding
its shape in our hand. We cannot see to
hand completely. As you can see the or is
being held in the hand. Inner coronary ways it's
not completely straight. And we should also
consider this. While we are creating
our character. Just like this, We'll create
this upper part of the or in the same design and shape that we
see in the picture. Now, I can consider some more shapes and
guidelines for it in order for making our shapes and our drawings in a very,
very specific way. Now this is the general
shape of our work, which we want to see how
it's going to be applied. We should also
work on the crown, which is at the top of
our character's head. If you see the hair of our character has came
down from this side. Just like this. It's been applied on
our hand. Right now. I'm just creating
a general shape. You would see how it's
going to be work done. I'm not adding any
details right now. This way easily. Then I would also create my
characters as scared as this. We would create it under
leg dance we've created. Then later I will
add the details. Right now this would be the general shape of the
work that we're doing. Should also this front part of the crown looking like this? And this would be the general shape of my crown on top of
my character's head. And then we part by
part, add the details.
74. Sketching the shape of the girl's face and hair components: Hello, My dearest friends. We are going to work on
our character together. Now. We are going to start from the head area and then we
would work on the other parts. I just zoom in a little. Therefore, you can
see each part. Right now. We're going to create our sketch on the
head and its details. As you can see, because our whole
image is small, we are actually
creating this picture. From a full body view. We cannot have too many
details, therefore, we are going to use a general shape for our
characters had an crown. But we do not move, toured so many details, but just create a general
view of hair crown. And why is that?
Because our work is so volume is from
a full body view. We do not, we are not only working on the
header specifically. If you are working on
the head specifically, they could have created
so many more details on her his crown or on
her head itself. But because we are working
on a full body view, we're not working on everything. So detailed. You should consider
this for the work that you're doing in this way. Now I'm going to work on
the details of my face, meaning placement
of the eyebrows, MDI, then dynodes, and after that we will
have my character's mouth. Now, I will create
my characters ear. Then I would move on to
my characters eyebrow. See, I'm just creating a
general shape right now. And I'm not getting
into the details, because if you want to
create details in this size, you are just ruining
your whole work. Now for creating the eyes
and face components, it's better to use a very, very sharp tip,
farrier or pencil. Because of that,
I'm going to use my edit because it
has a very sharp tip. And I want my work
to be very elegant. I want it to be very, very fine. And I can do this with
my edge it so easily. Even if you didn't
want to use your edit. You can sharpen your pencil. Therefore, you can work on
the details a bit better. You can use any of
the tools that you have and you can get
the best out of them. Because I don't want
to lose any time. I've just changed my equipment, but if you want, you can sharpen your pencil enough to create these details. Do not worry about
working on your sketch. As you can see, we've created
the eyes very generally. Because again, I insist
that we are creating it in nother size and
it's a full body view. Therefore, I'm going to create just a general
view of the i's. We cannot work on the
details of the ions because the size of my work is a small
and we can't do that. Unfortunately. I would want to work
on her face a little. Like this. Then obviously, I will move on to the
rest of my character. For example, right now, I'm going to work on the nose. You see, I'm creating all
the parts very generally, very small because I should not get into
the details at all. May ruin your work completely. The really careful about that. Again, a general mouth. Usual. It would look like this. This is her face. Now, after we work on the hair, we will have our head and we will finish
our head. Actually. If you pay attention, our character has
kind of a messy hair. Hair, hair is not very tidy. Try to create the same
shape in our work. This way that we can
actually show them with some random lines and create
them miss in our hair. As you can see, we can work on the
hair like this. We can continue the crown even. We will bring down their
hair from this site. Work on it so easily. Then after we've created
this part, below the hair, underneath the hair,
we would want to work on this upper part of the work. Then we can actually
add some more twist and turns to our hair in
order to show its volume.
75. Sketching a girl's hand and clothes: Hello, My dearest friends again. Going to continue our work
on sketching our character. I want to work on the hands, the body. Just like that. We are going to create our
character's dress and clips. As you can see, our dress
has some kind of a design. Therefore, we should apply
it on our character. We're just creating the design. So generally we didn't get
into the details that much. At least not right now. In this way, I just create a general view of the
design that I can see over here. Okay? I would also work on
my character's hand. And I will create it. Or it'll create the
fingers own body, which are actually
placed on her waist. Obviously. We also
created a hand. So generally then we want to
create our characters arm. We also create that. This way. Right? Now I'm working on my character's hand because I want to show that
she's holding this paddle. I'm going to show
the thumb here. And when my hand is
going to hold something, we're just going to see the tip of your fingers
Knowledge all of them. Just the tip which we can
just see whole of the thumb. Then we also have to show
a little bit of our palm. We are also getting a general view of our paddle that our
character is holding. First we create the bottom part of the petal and then
to top part of it. This way. We would also work on this upper part
in this very simple way. This is it. This is my paddle. Now, we can also create
some lines on the paddle. Create the texture of
wood in our work, I mean, would just green
some simple lines we are showing the
texture of our petal, which is good. This way. Showing the texture. Then, well, let me see. If you want to, you
can also create her necklace that
she's wearing here. I think it's skewed, therefore, I'm just
going to create it. You can choose it
by your own taste. Totally depends on you.
76. Sketching the shape of a girl's skirt and legs: Hello, My dearest friends. We are going to continue
our work on our character. And we are going to work
on the legs and the skirt. We'll move on to our
characters skirt. And we will work on that. Okay? There are some things
that are tangling down. Our characters are scared and we're going to
work on them as well. This way. Well, obviously, we can work on this inner
design of our fabric, which creating some
circles generally. This way. Then we will actually create
a general design on her scared. This way. This area on top of it, we will work like this. There are some things again, tangling from it that we are going to create
them as well. I mean, we can
create them as well. This way. Can move on to
creating these strange coming down out of this skirt. Then we can work
on this area with creating lines right
next to each other. Just so generally. Now we want to work on
our characters leg, which can be seen. Then we can also work on that as well. In this way. We are going to get a general view of the
fingers. This way. Then we would move
on to the other leg. And as you can see, we are creating the other leg
and the other food as well. This would be our ankle. It should be definitely created. Then we will move
on to the fingers. We just get a general
view out of them. Not get into the
details right now. Because we are just creating a general sketch and a
primary sketch. This way.
77. Illustration of the general body shape of girl character: Hello, love my dearest friends. We are back again with creating
this character for you. Well, we are going to create a very cute and fun
character together. Also, it should be interesting. I'm going to start, first of all, I see
that my character, I mean, all of the body of my character should be placed
inside of my framework. Therefore, we can just
apply some changes into the sizes of
different parts of the body because we are
creating it in our own way. First of all, I create
a bigger head for my character and a
smaller one for her body. I mean, exaggerating the head. I'm actually shrinking the body because this way we will
have a cuter character. We start creating the head. Then we will work on the
other parts of the body. But first we should create
an incomplete to hit. This is my characters as skull. Then we will add
did draw to her. Then when we wanted
to work on the face. We can change any
part that we want. Now because we are
characterizing good. I just create a
thinner neck for her. Thin and small Nick for
our character is one of the elements that we can use for creating
a cute character. Usually we do not
create anything, but it's normal and usual size when we are
working on a character. As we said before, we will exaggerate everything. If you pay attention, we can only see a small
part of the hand. And I can even eliminate
this small part completely. And I wouldn't not
created at all. And I can work on my
characters clothes. Morris specifically. Then we will create
this other hand, which is holding a paddle. Because our character
is a little girl. Create a thin, Are. We would pay attention. That character would be
so delicate and fine. It will match her
characteristics. Then I would also create the paddle notes
in its real way. It's a real shape. We will create a
fantasy paddle for her. First, I will complete
the body and then I'll come back to the
paddle and complete it. For creating my
character's body. I want to create this
skirt here because her scared look so unique. So I'm going to use this
aspect and I want to create her skirt
more fun and cuter. You should pay
attention that when you're working on
your characters. Because we are actually showing the volumes going in and coming
out is really important. I mean, when you
are creating lines, you should have curves and prominent parts in order
to show that these are some volumes on top of each
other or next to each other. Okay. Work on her skirt like this. This is that part of the scared, which looks like roots
and strings coming out. Then at last I will
create my legs. I mean, her legs so thin. The shape that I'm seeing it. But at the same time, I will consider that I denote
want to open her legs. As much as you can
see in the picture. I will create some space
between the legs out, give it an angle, but not as much as we
will see in the picture. Then I will add my
characters leg. I would also do the
same for the other leg. Then F there that I will complete the
petal, which is holding. In this way. I can easily complete my paddle. Not ordinary way. Again, as I said before, we can create a paddle
even more fantasy. I mean, with a fantasy aspect, then this would be the
general shape of our paddle. Note that I've created this. I've created my general shape. I will work on different
parts of my character. I would work on some
more details on her. Not too much because
we're going to color it. And we do the most
of detailing them. But I should create
some details here. These are my characters fingers, which are holding the paddle.
78. Illustration of the shape of the face and hair components of girl character: Hello to all of my
dearest friends. We are going to continue
our work on this character. This time I want to work
on my character's face. Alright? Because we were going
to color our character. Let me zoom in a little. Because we are going to
color our character. We would add the details later. As you can see, my
character has a very, very normal and common face. But because we are going to
create a character out of it, we are going to
exaggerate some parts and make it a bit more
cuter and unique. Therefore, I'm going to use
a bit more sharper angles, which would look like this. Then we will make our
character look cuter. This flower crown which
we have on her head. We would want to work on this. Just as you can see. This way, I will
actually work on it. Just like a hat. I would place it and apply
it on my character's head. But again, I say because we are going to color this character. While I am coloring, I will add the details to it. I will create the leaves
on her hat, a crown. Again, I say because we are
creating a funny character. We can also create her hair funnier than we see
in the picture. Clearer actually. You can just show the volume of the hair
more than it really is. This way. Then why we are doing the coloring
weekend completed a even more. And for this area, I can use a bit of
my character's hair. I can actually bring
some part of hair here inside of the face to
even make it look cuter. Then I would come over here. And also from this side, I will add the hair this way. All right. Now again, I come back and I want to
work on my character's face. I will use my guidelines. Then. I will just give some
shape to my characters. Eyebrows. Day would look better. You see how cuter it will get. And then I'll work on the
other eyebrow as well. Because the eyebrows
of our character has the ability to become even
cuter than it is right now. If you pay attention to it. Now, I want to work on her eyes. I will create my character's
eyes bigger than it is. Again, we do all
the things to make our character look
cuter and cuter. So that's our only goal here. Then I would also work on
the other eye as well. Do the same for it. Considering the other eye, I will create my
guideline as always, and create the other side
because I want them to be symmetrical for now. Then I want to create
the parts inside of her eyes like pupil, iris, etc. And again, I say
because our work is going to be colored later, I will add the details in my work because my
character's eyes are black, we can easily do this. Now, move on to create
my character's nose. I'll create a very, very cute nose for
him, for hair, sorry. As you can see, her nose is so cute and chubby. Therefore, we can actually
show it in a very cute way. It would look like this. Then for our character's
lips, for her mouth. I'm going to create it like this and give it a beautiful smile
at the same time. To make her kind
and nice and happy. And she would have thick
lips as you can see. All right, my dear friends, this is my character's face. Now for her body and her dress. We're going to talk about the
things that we want to do. But because we are going
to color our character, we will add the details later. Right now we're just creating
the primary sketches.
79. Coloring the crown of the girl: Hello, My dearest friends. We're continuing our
work on our character. First, we lighten our work. Therefore, we can
start our coloring. We should lighten some parts
of my primary sketches and we should erase some other parts
completely. Right now. I'm just lightening the parts
that should be lightened. Then I will work on the
parse which should be completely erased
and eliminate it. We do this because when we
want to start coloring, our work would not get messy and it doesn't get
any black inside of it. We should completely
erase some parts. For example, this
area which states underneath our character's hair should be completely erased. Then these guidelines
on the face also should be completely
eliminated and erased. The extra lines
that we've created here should also be erased. These parts inside of the flower crown
should also be erased. Then I will use
my brush to clear extra parts of the eraser that has been left on our paper. Then I will start my coloring. Alright, we want to start
coloring, therefore, we should start from
our flower crowns. I started using different
colors on top of each other. I will start with the color 366. I will use this as
my first color. I will actually work on the leaves that
I have on my crown. You should pay
attention that you should work on this area completely randomly
without any special order, because there is no special
order in this area. So we should not show
and create that. We should work on this area completely randomly
and create the leaves. Because we want to
show it's natural. As you can see. I'm creating these parts
without any special order. And I am working on the leaves. This way only underlines
that we've created before. I only move on the lines
that we've created before around to cram. Otherwise, I do not go by any
rule or any special order. I create each one of them
in a different direction. So again, I say it will
keep its natural aspect. We've created a
framework for our crown. Now we should go and dive into the crown and create
the leaves inside of it. Are also some flowers
between all these leaves. You can either
create them or you can eliminate them
completely from your work. North, apply them here. Well, I choose not to create, buy flowers among my leaves. I want to create
a crown for her, which is created all by leaves. And other thing
that I can do is to color debase of my work
with the color 370, which is completely light color. And I'm going to use it on all the background of my color, on all the surface of my crown. And I just apply this color on all of the surface cohesively and with the
same hand pressure. Therefore, after
that, I can bring different colors on top of
it and create a contrast. As you can see, we
have contrast network, we have darker parts
on layer parts. I will apply this light color as the background color and
foundation color of my work. In this way, I can create
a contrast that I want. Now I'm going to
choose the color 363, which is also another green. I would use it on different
parts of the leaves. Not all of them,
but some of them. I will create some
leaves with the scholar. Then I would apply some more colors inside of them with darkening
enlightening them. This shape. Because I don't want to create all of the leaves one by one because that takes so much time and
it's unnecessary. First, I want to get a general volume of
everything that I have here. Then I can move on to
the rest of my work. Then I would also work as some other leaves in these
parts with this scholar. In order to create
a color contrast. I will create the leaves in different directions
with this green color. Some parts should be done more and some parts
should be done less. Now, we did darker color, 357. I will apply some spaces
between my leaves. I mean, I will create some spaces and
distance between all of my leaves to keep the contrast
and create even more. For example, these
leaves that have came to the face can be darker. The ones that are coming
into the face can be darker. Then. We can also create some
darker leaves among. This part's. Just because I want to have
contrast in my coloring. I will do this. I create some of the leaves like this with my darker color. I will create some
of the leaves like this with my darker color. Then I will use my color 366 on some of the leaves
that I've created here. As you could see. First, I've used
that darker color. Now. I'm using this slider color to add more leaves to my crown. I would actually apply
it almost everywhere. Because most of my leaves can
be created with this color. If we wanted to work on
each leaf one-by-one, we should have
spend hours on it. But this fake work has
pick up some pace. And at the same time, the general shape of
it and the details of it are really visible for us and we can show the volume of this
beautiful leaf crown. Now I can also use other greens to create some more
leaves among the others. Just to keep the contrast, which also gives my
work a good volume, as well as it gives it a
good coloring and shape. Makes the whole work
more attractive. All right, this is
our leaf crown.
80. Coloring the left side of girl's hair: Hello, dearest friends. I'm still continuing my
work on my girls character. As you can see, my
character's hair is black, therefore, we start coloring our hair obviously with black. I start from the left side. As you can see, our hair is wavy. Therefore, I'm going to show these curves and
waves and lines. Much more simpler. I started from one side. I tried to create
these curls and waves. More simpler. I'm using hitting
method and also dragging the lines down to create the hair
texture for her. Should pay attention that
after I've created some parts, I can do two things. I can apply the light on some parts or eliminate the
light in some other parts. For example, here
that I'm working. I just decided to consider
an area for the hares light or else we can choose apart as
the light of our hair. And then we can erase it
after we've even covered it. We can apply the lights
in this way or elsewhere. We can keep the lights
from the beginning. Yet, when you want
to keep the lights, It's better to keep it. In the first stages that your colors are not too
dark and there's the light, so you can erase them or you can just consider the light
parts from the beginning. I would also create some
shapes and lines in my hair. This way. Because my work looks
way more beautiful. It gets out of that
one simple shape only. Then. I would also color
the rest of my areas. I would apply my lighter
colors in these parts. I mean, I'm just
creating some contrast. I am working on some parts darker and
on some parts lighter. I'm keeping the
lights in some areas or I just create
them with my eraser. Actually. This variety now colors makes our hair to look
way more beautiful. We would also work on
the rest of the areas. We keep some parts
for the lights. You can use your
white color even on the parts that you've
considered for lights, you can feel those
areas like that. Now another way is that
wherever you want the light, you can apply your white color in the parts that you
want the lights to be. Then you can create
colors with your black. Even if you color
departs, read the White color. It doesn't contain that
much color in itself. This is another way for
you to keep the lights. And obviously, you
should pay attention that there are other it
gets closer to the neck, it would be the darkest areas. This way. We will place the colors. This way. For example, I would add some more
light to this area. Then again, I use my black color to cover the areas that I
want to have dark hair. And in this part, I will create some lights again. Or else you can create the
lights with your erasers. He can do so many
different things. And if you pay attention, you can keep your
works attractiveness. In this way. I just
use different colors. I can even use the color 396, which is actually a gray color. I will use it in some parts, especially year and a hair. I can add a layer of gray. In this way. Now, I can use different colors. Yet. Whichever color
that you're using, it's better for you to
use a different columns. I mean, it's not really good for you to use only one color in your work because that actually reduces to attractiveness
of your work. And if you use multiple colors and the combination of
them you're worked with, look way more attractive. I also use a bit of my color
376 inside of my hair, which is dark brown obviously. But I don't use it
in all the places. I only use it in the parts that I want to have
the darkest areas. I actually use this color
to make boy worth darker. Yet it would not look
all one plain color.
81. Hair coloring on the right side of the girl: Hello, dearest friends. We're continuing our work
on our character's hair. I also want to color
the other side of the hair. This way. We will start with
the other area. And also we are really careful to keep the lights
in some parts. In some other parts. Keep the contrast. For making our work
looking more attractive. Then I will work on
the edges and sides. So just as the other side, I will create some wavy lines. For the size of my
character's hair. I will apply the
colors like this. Then I would work on the area
which is closer to my neck. I would make it darker. Then also for this part, I can have light. This way. If you pay attention. Do direction of my pencil moving from the
top to the bottom. This way. Continuous this. And I would also use
my white color in the parts that I've
considered for the lights. Even I will use my eraser to
create some extra lights. And some parts, of
course, notes everywhere. Wherever I want it to be darker, I'll give it more color. Just as this. Then. I will use my gray color to go
over some areas. 396, exactly as I did to the other
side of my hair. I will apply the colors
from the top to the bottom and in the direction
that our hair is placed. Then I'll use my brown color. Some parts again. It would look way more better. Of course, wherever it's
closer to the neck, it would be darker in both sides in this way. So simply and easily. Working on the hair
is enough up to now. But at the end of our work, if we felt it was necessary, we can always come back
and edit some parts. I think it's enough for now. Just as this.
82. Coloring the skin of girl character: Hello, My dearest friends. Going to continue our
work on our character. I'm using the color 330, which is a basic skin
tone for my work. I start coloring my
character's face, the skin. Also, we should consider
that our character has a kind of tanned skin tone. I mean, she's a bit darker. So after we've applied
our basic skin tone, we should move on
to darker colors and also warmer colors. Then we should pay attention
that we should also apply the shadow of the leaves coming
on our character's face. This way. Then we can work
on the eyebrows and eyes. But not with this color. I mean, we should not get the skin tone color into our eyes or into our
eyebrows at all. Then we move on
to the cheekbones and below the eyes
and beneath them. Then we would also
work on the nose. Just like that. We will
continue this work. We should consider that basically we are
working on the face. It, we should apply
some color on the neck because it's part of the body and it
shares the same skin. We can also work around the
eyes but not inside of them. Then I would also apply
color on dynamic. As I said before. As you can see, we are covering all the parts
which are made of a skin. Now we can move to other colors. I'm using the color 387 to
give her skin little of ten. And especially under parts which are near to my
character's hair. I mean, wherever my
hair is near my face, I will use this color on it. In this way. I'm going to use this scholar for this area which is actually the shadow of the
leaves on the face. I can use this color as well. In order to make my skin darker. Then I'm going to work on this
side of the face as well. Again, this similar spots. I would also use this
color on her chin. We are coming from the
random of the face toward the center of the
face with this color. And we are covering all the parts that
needs to be covered. We can even work below the eyebrows and departs below the nose and the lips. Then I will use my
orange color 316. Well, to point that
whether you can recognize the colors inside
of your face is very easy. The best way to do
that is to look at your character without
even recognizing. You should apply the colors that you can see in your face. You should just look
very carefully. Then apply every color
that you see on your face. That's when you can recognize the colors which
are combined in the face. For example, this area we can
see a very strong orange. These parts are more brown. If you pay attention, you can easily get it. In some parts we can see
are basic skin tone. Therefore, we are going to use a combination of all
these colors, for example, on the size which we
have darker tones, making use brown colors. If you look carefully, you can get the colors so
easily and so perfectly. But now, for practicing, you can always combine the different skin tones
and colors for skin together to see which one is closer to the color
that you desire. The skins have this
basic skin tone color. Therefore, it can be used
in almost all of the skins. Now again, I'm going
to use my basic is skin tone in order to get all of my
colors the cohesive, and give them that harmonious look out of the
separation between them. Then I can have a great harmony between
the colors of the face. I'm not going to change from a brown color suddenly to
a light color in this way. We can just add the colors
and top of each other. Combine them together. Even if you pay attention. Can see that I even applied my skin tone color
on the parts which I've already used my darker
colors because as I said, in this way, my colors
all get cohesive together and they have
a beautiful harmony. Then I'm going to use a brown
color 378, for the parts, which we have the
shadow of the leaves on the face. This way. I can even use this color, which are close to
our faces hair. I will use it in this parts. I do it for both
sides of my face. This way. I would also apply this color and
little bit beneath the chin. Apply a darker shade in order for my work to
be more beautiful.
83. Coloring the eyebrows and eyes of girl character: My dearest friends, we
are going to continue our work on our beautiful
yet dequeued character. This time, I want to work
on my characters eyebrows. I'm working on it
with my black color. This way I will color and the eyebrows and the direction
that I've created them. Then I would move on to
the other eyebrow as well. I would put some color
on the other one. You can see I'm creating a good shape for my
characters eyebrows. Because I'm using
my black color. I will be very careful
to put my color in its correct placement because it's the darkest
color then I can use. So I'd be very careful with it. Then I would create the
outer lines for my eye, again with my black color. And again, I'm careful to
put it in the right place. Then I would also do the
same for the other eye. In this way. Then I would also work on the outer corner and the
lower part of the eyes. I would also work on this inner part of the
eyes and the pupil. Because my eyes
are dark, I mean, the color of my eyes is dark. Probably black. I can easily work
on it with no fear. Then I would also work on
the other eye as well. Just as this. Then obviously I create the
light inside of my eye. It would look like this. Then I will darken
the rest of my eye. Again, I repeat. I keep the light inside
of my pupil as always. Then I will darken
the rest of my pupil. I'll make it black. There is a point that you
should pay attention to while you are
characterizing a model. If the colors are so
close to each other, you can use one color for all
of them in different parts. Well, then inside of the eyebrows you can also
use a bit of color 376. Again because it's really close to the color
of the eyebrows. Then I would also create some eyelashes for
my character's eyes. If you pay attention. The eyelashes of my
model's eyes can be seen. Therefore, we can also use it for making our character
more attractive and cuter. And we can even darken the upper eyelid
a little bit more.
84. Coloring the nose and lips of girl character: Hello, My dearest friends. As you can see, we
are going to continue our work on our character. This time. We are going to work on our character's nose
with the color 387. I would work on the
nose with this scholar. At first obviously. Then I would work
on the nostrils. And then I would choose the
color 376 to do to nostrils. I'm actually coloring inside of the nostrils with
this dark color. Then I can also darken the sides of the nose
and the nostrils a little. Just move on them once
and then I'm going to use my skin tone color,
which is 330. I would work on the nose again. This time I'm going to
work on different parts of the nose. I work on them. Even I can work on the line for the nose bridge to make
it more prominent, to show it better. Now I want to work on
my character's lips. Hair lives has a kind
of pink tonnage, as you can see it in the model. And it's also a bit reddish. So for this line in the
middle between my lips, I'm going to use the
color 392. In this way. Then would work on the
rest of the lines. Then I would use the color
327 for the lips themselves. I mean, first I have created
a line for the mouth. I mean the line between the
two parts of the lips with my red color and then I chose my pink color
to work on the lips. Directly. Just like this. We
start from a corner and we'll start coloring. Then. We would move on to the
other colors, like 321, which I am going to use right now in this way. So I would also work
on the lower lip. Then again, I'm going to use
the color 329 on my lips. Her lips. This is our character's lips.
85. Coloring girl clothes: Till loved my dearest friends. We're going to continue our work on our
queue to character. Well, as you can see, the top part of our
character's dress is white. For showing, get more fair. We should use **** gray color. I'm using the color 348. I will start my work. Although our work is
light and bright, because we want to show
our white color even more. We will use gray color, especially on the
sides of the quotes. And also now that we have
placed the hair on her dress, the shadow of the hair would be placed on the clothes and dress. And we can actually show it with this gray color, the white area. Then I can see that my work
is white up to some part. And then again, it's pink than white and
then again it's pink. I would note work with
this much detail. I will just create it with
some general colorings. How would I do that? Well, I will just start
using the color that I want. Then I place a space between
these rows on my dress. I start applying the color. From here. I'm using the color 327 for this area. You can also use some other
colors, darker or lighter. I started from one side and
I work on my colorings. Because I figure
out we're going to have two colors
next to each other. I would not feel
the work that much. Be careful. I will also create this lower line that I
want to end my design. Therefore, I would
not get out of it. Then I would consider a
white-space white part here. And then again, I
apply my pink color. I mean, I determine
this area that I need to start my
colorings again. Then I choose a color 329 to
go over this area once more. This way, I will actually create my
character's top and dress. Then I will use the
color 321 a little. This way. Then I would create the lines between my work and I move on them. Now, if you pay attention on
the white lines of our work, you can see some
blue polka dots. I can't use blue color and create these polka
dots very, very simply. For example, I choose
the color 345. I will create some lines
in this way in my work. I would do the same
between the next lines. In this way. You can
also do this for creating these designs and becoming more similar
to our photo. Again, I'm going to
use the same colors that I use for this
upper pink area. For this lower area. In this way, I would apply the color until depart where my line actually
separated the top area. And I will continue it this way. Then. I'll use the next color, 329 for this area. Then of course, I'll
use a color 321. We will actually use
the colors that we used on this upper part for
the lower part as well. Now, we get to this part
between a top and a skirt, which is orange, and it also
has some dark lines on it. Some black lines actually, and even black designs. I will use my color
316 for this area. Then I start from a
corner and I start coloring my work. This way. I am coloring from
top to the bottom. I mean, I'm coloring
in this direction. I will apply my color
completely in this area. Just like this. I work on my colors. Then I will use 314
on top of it also. I mean, I'm combining these
two colors together actually. This way. As easy as
you can see here. Just have to pick
the correct colors in order to get the
result that you want. Again, I would apply another layer of my
previous color. This one. Like this, with
these two colors. We actually, we are actually developing
our work continuously.
86. Coloring skirt girl: Hello to my dearest friends
are going to continue our work on our
characters address. I want to create a design
that I can see in my clothes. In her clothes. I start from this
corner, from this site. I will continue my work. In this way. I will create the exact same
design on my work. It's a very, very
simple thing to do. Also has three lines over here. You can't see because
it's on a fabric. We will pay attention
to the directions lot. Then again, the previous design
will be placed here. Then again, we use
these three lines. Just as this want to move on to the lower
part of our work. If you pay attention. In this lower part of our
work, background is white. And we have some
designs on our fabric. We will work on the designs
and we will use our colors. You can also apply one layer of white color for
its background. Then I will create the line just below these triangles
that we can see here. This way. Then I will work
on the triangles themselves. This way. Just like this, I will move forward and I create these designs
on her clothes. Would move on to next
designs of mine. If you're paying attention. I've actually eliminated
these polka dots on the triangles because I don't want my work
to get too busy. And all of your attention goes to the address immediately. I just want you to have a general attention to
the whole character, not to some specific parts only. Again, I will create those
triangles at the bottom. In this way, I make my work
simpler and at the same time, we've done a simulation. We will also create these
triangles upside down. This way. I'll continue creating
these triangles. This is the middle
part of our clothes. Which we are going to
use our color 348. That is our gray color. We use it for this outer
part of our clubs. We move on this outer part. Just as this, we do the same
for these lower parts of the triangles, also above them. And even a little toward inside. Also from here. Then we can also use our
white color on top of them. We would actually go towards
the inside of the work. Also from this site. We can move and we can
come toward inside. And we have a layer of white color on our
background. In this way. Then I would want
to create these, these ragged departs at the bottom of my
characters skirt. As you can see, the color of these body parts are in little similar
to our skin tone color, and at the same time, it also has light brown tonnage. We can't even also use a little of our orange or
yellow color in it. So I started working
with color 383. And I'll just create
some lines like this. And then I create some
lines in this shape. I come from the
top to the bottom. Then I will add the next colors. One-by-one. I'm using the color
387 right now. I use these color, this color in some parts, and in some other parts I would not use it
because I just want to give my work very
interesting contrast. And some shadings. Also use the color 330, which was the
background color and the foundation color
of my skin tone. So I will use it in this way. Just as this will color
these body parts. I'll use my dark brown 376. Some areas I just
create some lines. In some parts. Not just randomly, I create some lines because I want to create a good contrast. And that's it. These were directly parts on
the lower part of my work. Just very something
here that for this upper part not
to be too white, I would also bring some
color on this area, and I just bring my
color a little bit up in here in order not to
leave any part white. The white of our cardboard, quite jaggedy parts we'll look attached and
the upper parts would not look really light. This was the quotes.
87. Coloring hand and feet of the girl : Hello, My dearest friends. Going to continue our
work on our character. This time, I'm actually
going to create the color on the arms
and on the legs, creating the skin tone for her. These areas. You can see, first of all, I'm going to work
on my colors on this skin and then I can move
with the rest of the work. I'm using the color 330, which is obviously
the basic color, the basic skin tone color. Just as this, I will spread, I did color all over the
arms and even the hand. This way. We would also bring the
color on the fingers. Then I will use my next colors. For the lower area of my arm. I'm using the color 387, like our skin on the face. And in the lower part of
the arm because it has some shadow and obviously it's
been placed on the bottom. The lower areas. It should be darker. I can even use a little
bit of Vibram color 376. In order to make
more shadings in this lower area, my arm. I can easily use this color. Then I will cover all of
them with my skin tone color because this way I
can combine all of them together and make
one cohesive color. I'm also using my
orange color here, 316. Like the skin we
had on the face. I would move on with my
work dressed as this. As we go toward
inside of our arm, I'm using my color 378. I will darken this area, which shows the palm of my hand, and then I'll use
my color 376 on my thumb in order for it to make to show
itself actually more. Wanted to stand out
more than this. This is my hand
and are also color our legs here are black. Lines are too dark. So first I should lighten them. Then I should start
coloring because I don't want my work
to look dirty, to become dirty or messy because of the
black lines beneath them. Then I started my coloring with applying my basic skin
tone color, which is 330. Then I would do the same. For the other leg. Then I would work. I mean, I would create the
shadings with other colors. First, I'll use the color 387. I started working
with that. This way. Mostly I will use it on
the edges and size and obviously the bottom
part of the feet. I do it for both legs and feet. Basically. I work more on the sides. And then I'll use the color 376. I go over these side parts, these edges a little. Wherever. I have the shadow of these
ragged texture on my leg. I mean, these ragged
texture obviously have a shadow placing on the legs. I tried to create it. I would also work
on the other leg. I create some
shadows as shadings. Then we switch to the color 378. I would give a bit
more color to my legs. Then they would look like this. I would do it for
both legs easily. Then after that, I will
use the color 316. You see, I'm just following the same procedure as
I did for the arms. It's not that much
of a difference. Now, with the use of my
basic skin tone color, I will combine all
of these colors together and make them
look way more cohesive. Then I will use my dark colors to determine
the fingers over here. Little, not too much. My work would look
more attractive. We would also work on
the bottom of the feet, on the fingers and the toes, actually, some lower
parts on the feet. But we are just doing
them generally. We do not want to
go into creating very small details
because we don't want to steal the attention from the general view
of our character. Also create her ankle. As you can see, we
are just creating some general lines here. And again, because of the
reasons that I've said, I make my ankle over this leg a bit more
obvious and clear.
88. Coloring girl's paddle: Hello, My dearest friends. We are going to continue our
work on our characters here. Now we are going to
work on the paddle, which is inside my
character's hand and I'm doing it
with my colors. 378. I'm working on the
wooden area in here. First of all, I do a frame working on the outer
lines with my color, just as you can see right now. Then I will color inside of it. I'm going to start from this
bottom part of my work. I move up just like this. I would have the
handle of my panel or or then a darker color. I would go over some places and I would add color to
some parts. Actually. This time I will use the color 376 for this area. In order to make
some parts darker. As you can see. Well, as you can see, we are progressing
with our paddle. I would just move up. Then. I would work on the edges of my
paddle a bit darker. I mean, how would you use darker colors on the
sides and edges? From this side mean from the
top part above my finger. I will go up until I
reached the paddle itself, not the handle of it. Then generally darken the color of my wooden area little more. Now we want to work on the
upper part of our petal. This top part actually, again, I start from the sides and edges
with the color 387. Start working on it. Then. Use the color 383. And I would place a
layer of color over it. This way. I will cover the whole area cohesively with this one color. Then I'll use the color 330 to place another layer
of color on my previous one. If you pay attention, the upper part of my paddle, the top part of my
petal color looks so similar to a light
skin tone color. So we actually do
it on our petal. Now after we've done that, I can apply some lines on my wooden area, which I can see. I'll use the color 378
to create these lines, these dark lines,
which are actually did textures or wood on our paddle. Now, from this top part, I'll create an upside
down line in here. And another one would
be placed here. Also. Some lines in here. I place, and another line
next to my previous one. I just created kind
of random lines here. In the end of my work, I'll bring a little bit of my black color on the
handle of my paddle. In the end. Not in
all parts of it. Mostly the beginning parts and the ending parts of the
handle of my paddle. Just as this this is the
paddle inside of her hand.
89. General illustration of the boy's body: Hello to all of my
dearest friends. We are continuing our work
with another tutorial session. And in this session, we are going to work on these two children and
actually characterize them. In this session, I don't
want to do a normal thing, do a normalised sketch
based on these. I just want to go for
characterizing straight ahead. Because if I do that, first I want to create
simpler sketches. It will take some
extra time from us. Now, first of all, I should say that because we have two
characters in our work, we should pay attention about our sizes and our placements in order to keep both of our
characters in our frame. We are actually going to
create their bodies first. Therefore, we will figure
out how we can place them in our framework and we're
going to do them one by 1. First. I won't want to create the body and the
head of one of them, The next to it. I'll do the same for the other. Now, for characterizing,
first of all, I create my character's head. Bigger data, I can see it. I can have a funnier
and cuter character. Then. Because my character is whole. I mean, I can see it
from head-to-toe. I should be really
careful in order to create it completely in
my work, in my frame. Actually, you should
be careful not to be short on space
from the bottom or from the top of your
frameworks on your paper. So we now we want
to know how are, how are we going to
characterize these children? Now, I'm just creating
some general shapes and then after that, I can work on it more and
create more parts of it. After I've created my head, I would want to create my
characters neck. This way. Then I move on to her clothes. I will add it to my character. I don't want to add the
shirt for him first. Something that you should
pay attention to is that our work is actually
characterizing. What we're doing here is
characterizing, therefore, we are not really
under pressure to create exactly what we
see in our picture. We are not simulating. So our hand can be so
much free in creating what we want and change the parts wherever
we feel like it. Well, my character is crossing
his arms over his chest. I'm just going to do the same. I'll do it exactly as
I can see it here. So you can not see that
much of this hand. But at the same time, you should pay attention
that the shape of your arms, width of them would be the same. So you would not
face any problems. Then I will add this leaves. Then I will move on to
my character's shirt. And from here. I will continue my notes. Here actually would be
the end of my shirt. And after that, obviously, I'm going to work on the pants, the legs, and also the shoes. Right now. I'm just creating my
legs very simply. I want to work on the
details of my work. I obviously work on it more. Don't worry about it right now. Just created very simply. This leg is more in front, so I can see more of it. The one in the back, I can see less of it. I don't want to have that space between the legs like
I have in my picture. I just wanted to
stick them together. As I wanted. Then I move onto my character's feet and
I work on his legs. Justin this way. Then. I would also add this leg. And because I've just
stopped two legs together, we can see this leg
and this Feed More. And then later we will erase the other one
which is in the back. In this way, I work on my shoes. Just as this. Now we have created a general model and a general
shape for our character. But don't worry as we
pursue to improve our work, we will add or edit some parts. For example, here
on the pens area. We will do the work like this. It would have some kind
of a shape and you don't think we're just creating some straight lines
for our work. We also do the same
for the shirt. We just do it like this. This is a general
shape for our body. And now we will
create the back part. This area. We can also work like this. Therefore, it cannot be
seeing that we're just creating some lines
in a similar way, in the same way. So wages changed them a little and we play
with the shapes. This way. I will create the
fingers far my hand. Then when we want to color, we can add the
details in our work.
90. General illustration of the girl's body: Hello, My dearest friends. We're going to continue our work on characterizing
our two children. Now we want to work on the general shape of
our characters and of our girl character's
body actually, right? Well, I start with
my character's head. If I look closely, I see they are almost
similar height, both from the top
and from the bottom. Therefore, I create my GRS, a skull similar as
we did for the boy. Tried to even created
close to the boy character so we can get that feeling from the picture into our work. I work on the skull. This way. Then. I would move my characters jaw. I would actually
add it to my work. This way. Then I want to work on
my character is Nick. It would look like this. Then obviously, I
will go to this part, which is the upper body
part for my girl character. Dressing this way, I will
create her upper body part. This character is also
crossing over her arms. Exactly as our previous
character that we've worked on. There are standing
like each other. We just tried to bring
it in our work as well. Just as this would create the hands, fingers. We would place this
hand on the other one. Now I will create
a general shape. Then I'll move on to
the rest of the work. Alright? Now we can work on the
placements of things so we can get to
the part that we think is more attractive. As you can see, my
character's hair is long and it's even coming on a
part of her arm and shoulder. We will just add
them. Right now. We'll just wanted to work
on the rest of the body and then we can go back
to the head again. From this area that
we have our shirt, I will bring down my work. Just like this. I would move on toward this
scared of my character. I would have all of her dress. Then. I create my character's
legs after that. Just like this. Then I would do the
same for the other leg. Looking like that. Then we can move to
our character's shoes. I would also create that. I would also add her shoes here. I will do the same. For the other leg. I would work on my shoes. We are creating the
general shapes. Now we're going to work on the shoes are little, Therefore, if we ever want to
color our work, it would be easier for us. I would add this bottom
area on both shoes. Then I continue with my work. As we are actually developing both of
them at the same time. Now, I will create this
front part of the shoe and also I just hit a trace for the placement
of the shoe laces. Just add them this way. Because our shoelaces are cross, can do the same, or maybe we can even change
it in our coloring stage. Well, that can differ. I mean, that's for us to
choose while we want to do it. There's no limitation
here for you. And then I will work on this upper body
parts a little bit more. Then I would make some wrinkles
on this part of my shirt. Therefore, it would
be more attractive. I would also do the
same for this area. Just get my fabric and
of its natural shape. Now, we can actually eliminate this lace part of our dress. This net area. We can do anything that
you feel like it would be more beautiful in our work. Whatever changes that we
like we can apply on it. So I just eliminate this
part because I feel like this way my work looks
better and more cute. That's your own personal choice. It's characterized and you can change anything you want here. For this part, I will make the sleeve
of my shirt bit shorter. Now, as you can see, I've added a little
too my characters shared because I want my, both of my characters
be stuck together. I mean, I want them to
actually lean on each other. Because we should actually progress both
characters together. So we can actually apply the differences
wherever we need them. If they have two
characters for our, in our page for creating, we should develop both
of them together. This way. I've just created both
of my characters. And now we're moving
on to the other parts.
91. Illustration of hair form of two children: 11, my dearest friends, we're going to continue our
work on our characters. Now. We want to work on the heads
of our characters this time. All right, First of all, I will create the
general shape of the hair that I want to
have for my characters. Now, obviously, I do not want to create the hair on my
character to simple. I'm just going to
give it fun and cute shape. This way. I will consider ashamed
for the top of our head, for the front part of the hair. I would also create
some shapes like these. We will work on the
details when we want to color our work. I will make this part even
a bit more volume dt. Now I want to work on my girls character
and I also want to create a general shape
for hair, hair, as well. As you can see. I'm actually progressing both of my characters simultaneously. First I've created
the both bodies, then both hares
because in this way, work would find
especial cohesiveness. Then obviously, for the
inner part of my work, I will shape the hair this way. Bring the hair toward out. And then here I will
come back in again. I should also add some
hair here in the neck. Again. I say that right now we're
just working on generals. And because later we wanted
to be in color on it. We will create the details them. And I can also bring my hair
down in this curly shape that I can see in the picture
with some twists and turns. And I also can
bring some part of the hair from behind of
her shoulders on her back. Also do the same for this side. I can't actually create a hit from this part
and bring my hair down. Then obviously from this area, I can create the
rest of my hair. It's especial shape and I
will bring the limb down and just curly way with
some twists and turns. Just like this. I would create my hair
with twists and Crohn's. This way. Now, in this area, we are, in this phase, we're just grading
general shapes. Later on we would add
the details to it. Now we will move on to the other parts of our
character's faces. First, we determine
the placement of the eyebrows. Of course. Obviously we will determine
the placement of the eyes. We would do the same for the placement of the nose
and my character's lips. I would do the same
for both characters. Actually. I can even create. And one of my characters ears, as much as I can see it. It would be looking like this. So in this vein, I will shape my
character's hair and head. For this part on the
back of his head. I can also create some hair. Not so much but a little. It would look like this. And even for here, I can create just a bit of hair coming out of the back of his head in
order to make it cuter.
92. Illustration of eyebrow and eye shape of two children: Hello, My dearest friends, going to continue our work
on our characters here. This time, I will create a line for the direction
of my character's face, for the angle of his face. And then I can create my
character's eyes and eyebrows. First I'll consider a very simple eyebrows
for my character. Because my character
is a trialed. D eyebrows would be
very, very simple. There it is. I just
give it a shape. Therefore, it would look cuter. That's what we want as well. I will create my work here. Now. For my character's eyes. I will choose the
shape of the eye. The same as my girls character. I mean, because
these two characters look alike and they have
generally the same shape, I'm going to create the
same shape for their eyes. With the difference
that I'm going to create some eyelashes
for my girl character, but I won't do it for
my boy character. As a matter of fact, my character would
look more cute. I will choose this shape. This way. Then. I will just check the size of my eyes in order
for them to be exactly the same
size because I want the eyes to be exactly like
each other to be the same. And then I will create
inside of my eyes. I'm going to move on
to create by girls. Eyebrows are nice. And I'll do exactly
the same for the girl. First, I will determine
the angle and direction of my girls character. Then we'll move on to
create the eyebrows. This way. Well, i shape the eyebrows just little in order
to make them more attractive and cute would look like this. I want to create my
girl's character's eyes. As I said before, I create the exact same
shape as I did for my boy. For my girl. The only difference would
be that I will create some more eyelashes
for my girl character. Day would look like this. General shape of the
eye will be created. You can either you can even use other shapes too for her eyes. But because I want to keep these two similar to each other, I'm using the same shapes. I've chosen this one. Now I will add
some eyelashes for my girls character in order
to make her look cuter. Of course. Because I wanted to show
that my character is a girl. Because I'm going
to color my work. I do not get too much
into the details. Later on when we
want to color it, we will create more details. Obviously. I bring the eyebrows until the end of my eyes.
93. Illustration of the nose and lips of both children: Hello, My dearest friends. We are going to continue
our work on our characters. And this time I want to create
the nose of my characters. For the nose. First of all, I'm going
to create an oval. I wouldn't know
the general shape of it and how I'm gonna do it. Then I can actually start
creating my character's nose. I can create a nose very
cohesively this way. Then I can also place
the nostrils this way. And then for my
character's mouth, I will create it very simply. How am I going to do that? Well, as you can see, very, very simply, I
create the upper lip. The lower lip. Therefore, I would
have my mouth. When I want to color my work. We'll work on it. More specifically. Now I come onto my
girl's character's face. I determine the
placement of the nose. Obviously, I create a nose
for my girl character, way more elegantly and
thinner, finer step. Then I will add two
small nostrils for her. I will have the general shape of the nose because my character
is a woman, is a girl. And I wanted to keep that
elegance and fineness in her. Later when we want to color it, we can actually work
on the details more. For her mouth. I will create a
beautiful cue to smile. But I don't want to show
my characters teeth. I create her lips closed. And I make obviously
more volume for her lips comparing to
what I did for the boy. This way. Then I wanted
to shape the shape. I would want to shape my character's face and
get to the good form. Work on it a little bit more. Obviously, I'll do
the same for my boy. I mean, I give it
a special shape. Then when we are about to color, will obviously add more
details to our work. As I said before, if you want to edit some
parts or fix some parts, we can do it right now and
then sketching is done. Therefore, we step into
the coloring phase. If you want to change any parts, now it's the time for it. Can add, eliminate, edit, or change anything
that you want. Well, in my opinion, did general shape of
my work is good. Now. I can start working with this. Just a little touch ups. Day would be fine. Now we're going to move
forward to the coloring phase.
94. Hair coloring on the left side of the boy: Hello, My dearest friends. Well, you're back again. We didn't know other
tutorial session for you. In this session we are going
to start our coloring face. I start lightening my
primary sketch in order I can in order to color my work. So first I will lightened areas which should be lightened. Then I will also work
on the parts which I think should be completely
erased and eliminate it. So I start from this
side to erase my work, to lighten my work. Then I would move to departs, which should be
completely erased. Would also lightened my
girl character. This way. Because when we are
working on the left side, we would not drag our
hand on the right side. And we can actually get our messy and dirty in
order not to do that, not for that to happen. We can do this. This was the lightening face. Now, I want to work on their parts which should
be completely erased. Like his hand Dad, we've actually
added a part to it. So the previous one, the previous line for the
arms should be erased. And also our
guidelines which we've used for creating the
parts of our face. Or for example, this
part of the shoe, which is in the back that
should be completely erased. We will erase these
parts completely. Then. Further girl, you
should also erase the parts wherever our
hair is covering it. Then there goes the guidelines of the face that should
be completely erased. This way. Also, the extra lines
would be erased. Now Dad, we've erased our lines. We can start our coloring. And now that they've
lightened artwork, we can go and start coloring. It's now okay. I start from the top, from my boys
character's head. Then. I will choose the colors that
I want to use for his hair. Something that I should
tell you is that we choose a dark hair
color for our character. As you can see in the picture. He has dark brown hair. So he choose that for our work to see even close to black, but it's not completely black. I will start my work
with the color 376. First of all, I would move on my main lines. I go all around
the hair and kinda do a framework for my hair. And then comfortably,
I'll start my coloring. Because we have a
parting for him. We should pay attention to
the direction of the hair. So if you're working
on this part, we should move to this side, to the left side in the
direction that our hair goes. For our work to look better. This way, I start my coloring. Then for the parts
in front of my hair, I would determine the
lines a little bit more. I bring my colors actually
like this from the top to develop them in this
direction and in this shape. I consider this color as my base and foundation
color for the hair. Just move it forward. Just like that. I come from the top to the
bottom all the way down. When you get to these parts, you should get out of this straight angle
and you should make your lines a bit
more corner rays coming from the top
to the bottom again. As we get closer to our
partying on the head. As we get closer to the parting, the lines that we create
will be more straight. I will use some other
colors zone top of it. I'm going to use the color
382 above this color. I use it for some parts. Not everywhere. In this way. I create some random shadings. Not completely random, but we're not getting
too much specific. Just like this. Step-by-step, we
will add our colors. Now I'm going to use my
black color, of course. Because our character's
hair is dark, is in dark colors. It would obviously work on
it with our black color. But as I said, we should do them
layer by layer. I also apply my black color and some parts only, not everywhere. I do not want to make
every verb black because I want to have a contrast and the
difference in colors. In order to show that there is a volume on top of
our character's head. Also, it makes it more
beautiful and attractive. Progress my work in this way. I apply my colors layer
by layer in this way, until our characters looks
lively and comes to life. And it will get the color
that we actually want. This way.
95. Hair coloring on the right side of the boy: Hello to a love my
dearest friends. We're going to continue our work on coloring
our character's hair. Again, I will use the color 380. Because I want to color
of my character's hair. Look better. I will create some areas and
some parts darker. I would apply my black
color a little bit more. And then I would move on to create an actually color the other side of my
character's hair. I obviously pay attention
that I should work in the direction of my hair
direction which it's growing. Dan, I start coloring the
other side of the hair. The other part, which
is placed here. And again in here. I went apply my
colors like this. And then some parts. I would keep some lights. Yeah. That's right. I even keep some
lights in order for my work to look more attractive
because in sunburst, creating a little contrast will just Bring your work
into another level. If you pay attention. Because on this side we have the light
coming from this side. On the left side we have
more shadings and shadows. Therefore, we have some lights on the other side
and the right side. We are going to keep a
light area on the hair. We can actually show the direction of the
light shining on them. Okay. Now, I would apply my white color on their part
that I kept for my light. I use layer of my
white color on it. And then I choose a light
color, which is 387. And I will go over this part
to play some colors on it. Then I will add the
rest of my colors. In this direction. Obviously. We will do the rest of their parts just
like the other side. I mean, basically
the procedure is the same except the light
area which we've used, a layer of our white color and a layer of our light brown, then I will use my black
color over this area. Also. Actually the point
that we should consider is that this area between
the two sides, I mean, the starting part of
the partying on the head, known to hair should be even
a bit more darker than this. It can show that the place that connects two sides of
our hair together. We would color here like this. For the lower areas, these small parts
which are here. We would also apply some
colors because you can milk, leave them on touched. We would also do the
same for this side. I start coloring here. I would also apply
my basic color that views for all
parts on the hair. My foundation color that
I've used all over the hair, and then I use my darker
colors on top of it. This way that you're
seeing right now. Then obviously, I would
bring my black color. These little areas. Not forget about these
little parts in our work. Because these little details
are actually what makes your work unique and they
will make them biota full. Be careful not to forget them. Then we can also work
on this area which will connect to our
head and our face. Actually, the hair
will connect our face. Now, for this area, we will work on our colors more. Day would look even more
beautiful and more attractive. Just like this, we are
actually adding colors. And we're bringing our
colors toward darker colors. This way. This was our boys
character's hair, which looks so cute right now.
96. Boy skin coloring: I love my dearest friends. We are back. We're continuing
our work on our character. We're going to color the skin
tone for our boy character. I will start with my 330, which is my base
skin tone color. We will move on with this color. We'll start obviously from
the side of our faces, a skin and vague cover, all his face
cohesively. Like this. Then we will actually
apply skin tone color, the basis skin tone
color completely. Inside of our eyes. We do not apply any his
skin tone color. Like this. While we will continue our work until it completely
gets its color. We also color inside
of the neck. This way. We'd going back and forth, we will create our
skin tone color. I'm just hatching for
my skin tone color, but you can also do it in so
many other different ways. It depends on you. I'm just doing it because I want my work to complete faster. But as I said, you can spend Much more time
for creating your skin tone. And just bring the
colors on your face. Little by little. After that, our skin has got
some color on it. Like this. Because the skin on
our face is light. We do not want to
emphasize on it too much, or we would not use too many different colors for creating our skin
tone that much. Mostly we try to use Foundation and basic skin
tone color of our skin. Then I will use the car 329
a little for my cheekbones. I mean, his cheek bones. Because skin on our
boy's face is light. Therefore, for his cheekbones. We will use pink
color just like that. And we will cover both
sides of our tricks. I will apply my color on
both sides of the cheeks. As you can see, I'm applying
my color completely circularity and I'm
adding it to my skin. Actually my face is a skin. I will apply my colors
little by little. I would not apply any
colors just suddenly into our work because they might actually
rowing the work. We're just adding these little
by little step-by-step to our work in order not to
ruin any part in our work. Just like that. I would apply my
cheekbones colors. Then go a little. There are face, the chin area, maybe a little bit of the neck. I'll just add my pink color. Those areas day would look
like this. As you can see. They look so smooth. Even a little below the hair
and on the size of my face. I will at this color. Then again, I'll move on to
my skin tones, color 370. And for this area
below the hair, because I would have some shadow of the hair coming onto my face. I would just add a little
bit more of my color. I would also do this
for inside of my ears. Then we will use our
brown color 378. I will work inside of my ear. Then I can even use a
little of my color 387 this time and actually apply
it here on his ear. Just like that. Now for depart
inside of the ear. I can also use a little
of my color 378, because inside of
the ear should be a little darker comparing
to the other parts. And we'll call our elicit
more beneath the eyes. And the colors that we've
applied for our cheekbones, we will actually
fade them into each other and combine
them with each other. In this way. We would also use our skin tone color on some areas beneath the
eyebrows and above the eyes. Just to make sure all parts are covered equally and cohesively. Just like that. Then we apply our
skin color very smoothly through all the face. As you can see, it's getting more
complete by the minute. Now for the neck, I will create a
shadow and shading. We did color 387. I will create some
shading here because it's actually the shadow of
the head on the neck. Therefore, it would
look like this. Then after that, I will use my 376 color for this area, just below my chin and jaw. I would want to darken
this area a bit more. That would look like this. Again, I'll go on the
lines of my face, on his lower lines of my face. Just move on them. Make them just a little darker to show the contrast
and to show the volume. Of course. This is it. Now, I will use my color 378 and
little bit more here. And I bring it on my
jaw and chin area. Well, just going
over these parts, I will just add
some colors here. Then. I will bring my skin tone color above it in order to faded. And I actually combine it
with the rest of the area. I would also go on the sides
and edges of my face again. Maybe a little hair
beneath day hair. Try not to overdo anything. And this is the skin tone
color of our boy character.
97. Coloring the eyebrows and eyes of boy character: Hello, My dearest friends. Going to work on the wrist of
our character's face here. I want to work on his eyebrows and eyes
with the color 376. I would just start
coloring my eyebrows. I will color the
eyebrows linearly. Obviously in the direction
of their growth. Day would look like this. Now, we are actually moving
on the lines which we've created with our pencil or black pencil for
our primary sketch. If I'm not being clear. We would also work a little bit more on
the ending part of our eyebrow because we don't
want it to be too thin. Now. We are also going to
use a little bit of our color 378 and will actually add it to our
eyebrows. This way. Now I want to work on
my character's eye, and I want to work around eyes with my black color so I can
make it more attractive. And we would have way more contrast. In this way. Go around my eyes
with my black color to make them stand out and
become more attractive. I would also work on inside of the eyes and make them dark. I'll do exactly the
same for his other eye. We would work on the lines around the eye
and even inside of the eye. Then we can work on the
darkness inside of the eye. Looking like this. Okay. Now, for the area for the dark area
inside of my eye, because eyes are really small and just occupy a
small place in volume. I'm just going to use my pencil. I can work on these parts which are so
thin and finance small. This way it may look more clean. I would do the same for
the other eye as well, you know, for the darkness
inside of my eye. I would work like this. This is inside of his eye. And something that
I should tell you about is that because my
character's eyes are colored, I'm going to use a
turquoise color on it, 361, to make them look as
beautiful as they are. Beautiful colored eyes. Not black as usual. These are his eyes and eyebrows. I will make this upper
eyelid a bit more dark hair to stand out more.
98. Coloring the nose and lips of boy: Hello, I love my
dearest friends. We are continuing our
work on our character. This time I want to work
on my character's nose. I will work on his nose here. First, I want to
work a little under nose bridge and then
I would want to move on to the nostrils down
lower parts of the nose. I would be working on that nose tip and
also the nostrils. I will add some color over here to make it look like this. Then for inside of the nostrils, I will use the color
376 to make them dark. In this way. I will call R inside
of the nostrils. Then also we would work a
little on the nostrils, the line around
industrials actually. I will work a little on
the nose bridge as well. Now move on to my
character's lips. And I would also add
color for her lips. And I'm using the color 321 for that for my character's lips. This way. Then I place a beautiful smile forum. I will work on the lower lip. Just as you can
see. In this way. C. Then obviously after that, I would work on the upper lip. I will add it to
the whole mouth. Now. I will also use color 392. I will create a line between
my lips with this color. I mean, I just go over
it a little in this way. And I would also do the
same for the lower lip. I will use my 321 color on my upper lip a
little bit more. This is my character's lips. I actually, these are
my character's lips. And another point
is that I would want to work on this
cheekbone a little bit more. I will add some
more color to it. Because the smile
that we've created over here would pop
out a bit more. So I have to work on the
cheekbones over here. Looking like this. Then also for inside of the ear, I will use my brown color. First of all. I will shape it. Then I will use the color 378 to color inside of it and let this way. Then. I would also create a shape inside of my ear. In this way. As you can see. This is lips, nose, and our characters ears.
99. Coloring hands and shirt of the boy: Hello, My dearest friends. We are going to continue
our work on our character. As you can see, my character's
shirt is wind, actually. In order for our white
to pop out first, we're going to use
little of our gray color on some parts and
then we can create the design of our shirt. But before any of that, I want to color my skin on the arms because I
wanted to be more clear. And during my work I would
not go inside of the arms. Therefore, I'm using my
basic his skin tone color on his arms which are crossover, and also his hands and fingers. All in this way. Then I'm going to
use my color 330, as I said before. For this area. As you can see, I am adding the color. Then for the lower
part of the hands, I will add some shading and
shadows with the color 378. Well, for example, this area which this
arm is going on there, it will have some
shadow and shadings. Also the lower part of this
arm would be the same. I will work on the fingers
a little bit more. This way. Also. I will separate the borders
of my hands from each other. These were the colors
for the arms and hands. Now I will use the color 348
for my character's shirt. I start from around it
and I move forward. Just as you can see. Then I would work on the slaves. Also. The other slave. This way. Well, as I said, I will go all around. My shirt. Would look like this. As you can see it here. Now. I would want to work
on some parts later more. The parts which are
a bit folded or wrinkled and basically they
have some different volumes. I'm going to use my
gray color on them. As you are watching. For example, here, I let alone the arm hole also
has a suing line. The parts which are separating. Wherever our hand has some shading and some shadow
on the clothes forever. The shared is in the
inner part of the hand. We will use our gray color
for all of these parts. Also, this part below the hands. Which have got some
shadows on the shirt. Then I would also create
these lines for my shirt. This way. I've done it. I want to work on the
design on his shirt. I'll use the color 321. Create a design that I
can see on his shirt. Therefore, I only want to create these red lines which
are on the shirt. The logo in the middle of it. Easily do it this way. I will create these
lines and then I will fit their sizes with each other and
check them together. Actually. There is a point that when you want to create
these kinds of lines, you should consider your fabric. And you should have to show
the texture of your fabric. How we can do that. You can just create
them in this way, especially where you're
close to the hands. As some I mean, on one side it should be a little bit lower and
on the other side, the lines should be a
little above and higher. Just to show that
fabric texture. And also when we are placing
the beginning of the lines, we do not create them
completely straight. We can show that our fabric
and our shirt has a volume. Now on the shirt
because it's white. I will go over it once
with our white color. Although you cannot see
any specific colors. But it just makes your colors soon become
more cohesive for you. The gray colors
that you've placed here can actually make them
look way more cohesive. Just MEG, is it a good shine? I move around and inside of my shirt once with
my white color. Now for showing our
hand even more, I use my dark brown
color for the sides and edges of my arms
and hands in order to show them a bit more. And I'm using color 376, I want my hands to pop
out more than this. Because if you can see our hands cannot be seen
very well this way. They might not be clear, but when I use this around, it will pop out and you
can easily spot them. I would also do the same
For the other hand. And this other hand. Basically we do this for
both arms and both hands. And even another thing
that we can do is to also create a little
bit of the fingernails, just little points of them. This was our character's shirt.
100. Coloring boy pants: Hello, My dearest friends. Usually we are
continuing our work on these two huge characters. This time I want to create
my characters pants. In order to do that. First, I will go all around
my pants and make them black. I mean, I do a frame working
with my black pencil. If you pay attention, it has a striped
black design on it. So the only thing that
we have to do here is to create the black line straps. Then the white lines will
spontaneously show themselves. Therefore, I have to use my black color to do a
framework for my pants. Later. I can work on it easily. As you can see. First, I'm moving on
the survey pants. Just as this. Then I would bring the
lines on my work again. Now I want to create those
stripes designs on my pants, which are obviously horizontal. And you can see them. Now. You can see this side
of my pants. I go up. Also, I do the same
at the other end, the other corner because
we want to show that our pants includes a
volume and it's not flat. This is the most important thing that you should pay
attention to and you should consider because these lines have been actually being
wrapped around his legs. And if you do not
do this, I mean, if you do not bring
both sides of these lines up on the
corners, on this sides. We are actually going
to show them flat, which cannot be acceptable. As you can see also his body is a bit turned to this side. So this side should
be upper and higher. Can see it better
in the lower areas. I'm going to show it to easily. As I said before, we are going to actually create some curved lines in the area. I wanted to show them on Liam and bring it down a
little on this side. And editor more above
on the other site. But generally, it's not as
straight as you can see. It looks like a smile. And also because our legs and
our whole body is turned, we even give it a
bit more angle. This way. Just like that, we work on the lines. Then we will create a
design for our pants. These lower lines that I've just considered some more lines for my pants because
it's been folded. We are actually going to show this folded area with this part. I mean, this area should be
exactly the opposite shape of the things that we've been creating from the
top to this point. This way we can show that
our fabric has been rank L, then fold it down here. Now I will move on
to the other leg of my character and I would also
create deadlines for that. And again, I say
because our work, I mean our body is turned. Just show it in this shape. So you should consider all of that where you want to
start your colorings. Please be careful. These are the lines
for the other leg. Then I will black inside of these lines between
some of them. Used my black color here, but you can also use your
dark blue for this area because look at your picture and can't see it's
either one of them. You just have to choose the one that you're
more comfortable with. Because I've created
some loans over here. I should do the same on
the left leg as well. I mean, actually it's
his right leg but it's the left side from where
we are looking at it. And also on this folded area, can't see a part of the lines. And you can't see
the other part. For this area between
depends and assured. You can also create assembly
line from here to there. And it will be
connected to our shirt. I wanted to color
inside of my lines. And then the white parts
which shall themselves. You'll see. Because most of our parts
are dark and black, we consider this parts which
are more as black colors. As you can see,
this space between the two lines are very
small. They're not very big. So I want to use my black color on the
part which is bigger. I start from here with coloring. First, I'll color
this area for you and then you would know how
to do the rest of them. I think you got it. So wherever I have more volume and Morris
space between the lines, I will color it. The parts which I've created. By creating my lines would be
left uncolored as in white. Just continue this work
until the end of the pants. And we will have our pants here. Just in some parts are lines actually have
became so thin. I'm going to use my eraser
to erase between some parts. So with that contrast
between the black and white, I can actually show my work. And then I'll continue. I would also erase
inside of this one. You can use hatches or you
can just shade them. Linares. Especially on the
parts which are going to be seen as white parts. We should actually darken around them on the top and
on the bottom of them. Therefore, they can
actually show themselves. I will go around aparts
which have to be white. I mean, I will darken the dark pints and
the dark lines more. And at the same time I
also determined the lines, the borders actually of them. I would also darken this line
in the middle of my pants. Then I will use all of
these black colors. Then I would keep all
of the white colors. The white lines are being
kept and uncolored. And there you would
have your black colors. Black lines actually be a little patient in this matter and you would
not rush through it. They would not get mixed
up with each other. This way. Even if you've moved on the
white lines by mistake, you can easily and definitely erase them
when your eraser. Then you can just divide these
stripes from each other, divide these lines
from each other. Obviously because the
white lines are thinner, they might get some
color inside of them. But as I always said, you can always use your
eraser and fix them. Just looking like this. Okay. We have his
pants completely. As this was the last black area.
101. Coloring boy's feet and shoes: Hello, love my dearest friends. We are here again with
another tutorial session. Obviously. In this session, we are going to color our
character's feet and shoes. See how it can be made. First of all, we should color a part of this skin on the feed, which can be seen. And then later we'll move on
to our character's shoes. First of all, I
started my work with my basic skin tone color. I will apply it on the skin
here showing on his feet. Basically applied here. Then we'll use a little bit of our brown color because we want to have a more
comprehensive color. So I'm using 387 as by
brown color and 330, which is the base skin
tone color for my skin, will use these colors
as well as we did for our neck and our hands. Now, my character's
shoes are dark blue. Therefore. I will work on
it with the color 344. In this way. I will start from the
corner of my work. Then. I'll get to the rest of it. Now. This lower part of
my shoes are white. Therefore, I tried to
keep that white color. Also I will later added with my white collar as
well by white pencil. But I tried to keep
it right now as well. So I color this top
part of the shoe. Then. I will use the color 351 a
little on top of it. In order to have a better color. Have a more mature color. Then I can even use a little
bit of my black color here. I will add it a little. Therefore, my color would be
darker a bit more than this. This way. Now, for
the lower area, which is white, I'm
going to use my eraser. I will erase this lower
part of his shoe. Then I will create some distance between the
colored area and a white area, dark blue area, and the
white area between them, I will create a line, this space and distance. And then I will make
it white as well. It would look like this. And I also bring my white
color inside of it. Then I would create another line for showing this white part of
my work even more. Now, I move on to the
other shoe. Again. For the other shoe. I will call her this
area which can be seen from the other
side of the shoe. I come to this front
part of the shoe, depart that you
can see the most. I colored this top
part of the shoe. Like this. We use different colours
and several colors on our work in each part
for our coloring generally. In order not to work with only one color because
it looks just raw and, and not very professional. I'm going to use the color 321 for this red part, the shoe. I can just use my
red color for it. Just as this. Then. I'll use the color 318. And I will move
on my color once. Then from above my red color, I will bring a dark blue line and I will connect the
front part of my shoe, the ending part of it, although I have a red
color in the middle. Now come over here. And for the next steps, I'm going to use some more
colors on top of them. For example, I'm going to use the color number 351
on my dark blue. Then obviously I would
add my black color on top of them exactly as I
did for the other shoe. Because I want the shoes to
look similar to each other. Almost the same. Then for the line on the lower part of the
shoe, below the shoe, I will create a distance between the dark
blue and the ground with my dark black line. As I get to the ending
part of my shoe, I'll connect it to
the back of the shoe. And then I will use
my white color in this space that
I've created here. These are our character's
shoes and feet. We can also go around all
of our work once more to actually show off our shoes. And it's a bit more. Can see I'm just
going around him. I will also do the same
for the lower part. This is it.
102. Hair coloring on the left side of the girl: Hello, two alone, my dearest
friends we are continue our work on our
characterizing these picture. Now we want to work on
our girl character. We're going to use our color 378 to start working on hair. Hair. Well, previously we have lightened our whole
primary sketch. Why we were working on the other character in order for our hand for not to get
it dirty and black. The other hand, it
would be ready for. Now. I start from the hair. I'll start coloring it. I started from the upper
corner of my head. The left part. Then I will move forward. And if you pay attention, we will do all the works
from the AP and the corners. It has two points. In this way. If you start from the upper
parts and the coroner's, your work will go
on and move forward more orderly with much
more ordering principles. And the second thing is
that if you do it this way, the rest of that, your work would not
get dirty or messy? I would do it for all
parts most of the times. Now, I'm going to
use the color 307, which is obviously
a lighter color. I will color in-between my hair. So I'm going to use color 387 for the hair because
generally for the hair, we will use different colors. Because the hair actually needs much more work in order
for its colors to be more mature and cohesive. So we use different colors. It can have a good
combination here. We work on the colors
and on the hair in the direction that our hair
is growing and styled. Now I'm going to
use a color 376. As you can see, my characters has do friend
colors in her hair. Some parts it's dark, some parts it's lighter. We actually use it
in our own work. I would apply different colors on different parts of my hair, using a darker color for
this part of my hair under contrary of what I've used in the previous
part, which were light. And I would also
use this scholar in the middle of
some other parts of the hair in-between
my hair wherever I can. Sometimes I can't
even do it randomly. I'm going to use even
darker colors like black. And I will use it in some parts. For example, the parts
at the back of the head. Apart in this front area
of the hair and the head. I will add some
darker colors over here for our work
to be more mature, to look more mature. Then we move to the lower areas a little
bit colored them. Parts which are closer to the face because usually they have some
shadows and shadings. They would look even darker. I would also add my
light colors here. As you can see. Character's hair includes
very different colors in it. We actually add dim layer
by layer in our work. I'm going to use the color 383, which is our OK.
color. This way. Then we will add lighter
colors to our later. Now, for our part of the hair
that comes toward our neck, we should use the darkest color. Because even as you can
see it in the picture, in those areas we
have darkest colors. The reason is that these are
the back parts of the hair. Day also have some shadows
and shading on them. We can also use these colors in this front part
of the hair as well. Just like this. Then I will use it
on the part which goes to the back of
our arm and shoulder. Looking like this. Then I will also use a little of my black
color on this area, as I said, to make it darker for this inner
part of the hair. And just a touch between
this front part of the hair. This way. Then for these lower parts, I will use some colors, especially in the part
that's our hair has twisted. I will work on some parts darker and I will keep
some other parts lighter. I will also bring some of the hair downward
from this side. I should use my brand
color and my yellow color. After that. Then we are just playing
with our colors. We're juggling them in order for our hair to be shaped
completely and it would look way more better
and more mature and cohesive. This is for this
part of my hair, this side of my hair. I would just add some
more colors to this area. Also in here. We can have some more
hair going on our back. I will add a combination of my dark colors and light
colors for this area. In this way.
103. Hair coloring on the right side of the girl: Hello, My dearest friends. We're going to continue our
work on our character's hair. I'll start from here, and I will color the
rest of my hair. This way. I would also apply my colors on this side of
the hair, the right side. First of all, I will move
around all love my work. I mean, I'm actually doing your frame working
for all the hair. Then I can apply my colors
easier and more comfortably. Now I'm going to
use the color 378. And I'm just applying my colors in the direction
of my hair is growing. This way. I will continue my work. I will actually progress
my work and improve it. This shape. I can also bring it along
the left side as well. I'll move on it a little. In this way. I will just go in
the direction that my hair is growing and a
styled drop is lay here. We don't have that much time. But anyway, their
dad I'm going to use a color 387. This way. Then. The parts
where we moved once, we will go over them again. And then I'll use my light color 307 on some parts. And then I will
use the color 376, some lines and so on. So we just create
our darker colors in some areas in order to make some parts darker
and keep some parts lighter. Just like this. This part. I can move on it
even more than this. We work on different areas. Now. I will bring the rest
of the hair down. Then. I will use the yellow color on my hair because obviously we also have some light
colors in the hair. Then I will move between the
lines with my darker colors. Just that little, not too much. This way. Then I will use the color 352, which is a gold color. I apply it over here a little. And also I will use it
on this upper areas. Even in here, I will use this color a little
inside of the hair. Now, I will move to the rest of the hair. Now. We will apply the colors
in different parts, will actually combine
them together. We will work on them. Therefore, if you don't
have a special color, there is no problem. You can actually make other colors as replacements and alternatives for your work. Do not be afraid of changing the colors because it will
actually ruin your work. I mean, if you get afraid
to change your colors, it will ruin your work. But as you can see, I've used even more than four
or five different colors on my hair to give them
more mature and better. Now, under part which
is near my neck, I will work darker. In this way. Then. I would move on. My face is line because our hair would not
get just once with our face. I mean, I don't want my hair to be seen as a
part of the face, so I would have to separate
them with a separate line. I've added a bit of a
black color on the hair, which is next to the neck. I would also color this area
from the top to the bottom. I will move onto line
which I've placed between the face and the hair. This way. I'll just continue coloring in the direction that my
hair, it is growing. Of course, the
style of the hair. I bring the colors all
the way toward down. Then I can also use some other lighter
colors on top of them. My hair would look mature and it would be more attractive
and more harmonious. This way. Four different parts. We are going to use
different colors to make our hair look beautiful yet
similar to our picture. From this point, we
come down and lead to a bit more with
our dark color. As you can see, obviously, we can actually combine
other colors into our own. We just move down like this. We will apply darkness and
some parts on the lines. I will fork lightly
and some other parts. As I said before, I work in some parts
more lightly and some other parts more dark. You can actually apply your
colors as you can see and as much more as you want until you get to
color that you want. I mean, you can just
combine these colors, place them on top of
each other more and more until you get to
color that you want. And even in some parts, I would apply dark
color between my lines. To make my work looking better. I would also use gold
color in-between them. Now, we are working on the
dress wherever we felt like. We can actually emphasize on the colors a little
bit more. Forever. It was needed.
104. Coloring the skin of girl: Hello, My dearest friends. We are going to continue
our work on our character. Now, before I start, I want to erase
the face a little. Therefore, if there
is any darkness on, it would be erased. Work would not be
dirty or messy. Therefore, if you felt
like your work is a bit dark based on your hand or any extra colors you
might have put on there. First, you should erase
your face and then you should place your
colors on your face. Then it started your work. Start my work with
the color 370, which is obviously the base
skin tone for my work. And I started from
this left area, the upper lift site. I will place my color
just like this. I started from the corners, from the edges and
sides of the face. And I would apply my color. And I'd be very careful not to place any colors
inside of my eye. I am very careful that I would
not go inside of the eye. Well, because there
should definitely keep the white color inside of the I. Later you would figure
out that we have other special colors
for the eye itself. As you can see, I'm not also going inside of the eyebrows
because obviously, the eyebrow also contains
its own special colors. We are only coloring the
parts which are from skin that would cover her face without her
eyes and eyebrows. We are only covering
disk in parts. We would not go inside of
the eyebrows and eyes again, I insist because
it's very important, should not do that at all. Just like this. I would also apply around the mouth
knots inside of the lips. I just go around the lips. But obviously, we will go over the nose because
it has a skin on it. And as you can see, our skin tone color
is a light one. Therefore, we should
keep our skin light. I will use my pink color, my light brown for
the size of the face. Then I will use the color
329 for the cheekbone area. This way. I would work on the cheekbones. Just as you can see. I would also do the
same on the other side. We'd just moving back and forth. I will apply my color, this method going
back and forth. Definitely we would not apply our colors all of
a sudden and with a lot of head pressure because it
will actually make our words look bad and not attractive. This will ruin your
work actually. Therefore, we're just
going back and forth. We will add our colors
various slowly and smoothly, museum to a slow hand pressure. Then I will use the brand color 378 for the edges of my face. Therefore, I can show the shadow of the hair coming on the face. And add the same time. I want to show the contrast of colors between the
hair and the face. I wanted to show it
actually very smoothly. I want to show the
contrast in transition. And I would also do the same for the other side of the face. Both left and right
should be done. So I will use this color
all around my face. But at least I love it. Not too much. For my characters forehead. I'll use little of my
white color, therefore, I can actually get the skin tone color more cohesive and make it
one into the face. Then again, I will use
my skin tone color 330. I will imply it a little more. Beneath the eyebrows. I would apply just a little
bit amount of color. Then. I'll do the same below the lips. This is the skin tone
of our character.
105. Coloring the eyebrows and eyes of girl: Hello, my dear friends. We are going to continue
our work on our character. Now. I want to work on
my characters eyebrows. We'd call our 387. I'll move on the eyebrows. This way. This sketch
dad vivo ready-made. Then I will bring some
darker color on my work. I can even use the color
376 on the eyebrows. Make them pop out a little
bit more than this. I'm going to use it a little for this upper part of the eyebrow. In this way. Now I want to create
my character's eyes. I mean, I wanted to
color them actually. I also use a bit of color 378
for my characters eyebrow. We've almost used all the colors that we've had for the hair, for the eyebrows as well. Now, for our character's eyes, I'm going to use black. Then I start creating, give it my colors. This way. I come over
and I work on my eyes. Her eyes actually. I darken this upper line for the eyes a
little bit darker. Then I add my
characters eyelashes. Just like this. Also would also create some
more of my lower eyelashes. And then I move on to
create the inside of my eyes and work
on them as well. My character's eyes are light. I mean, she doesn't
have dark eyes. Then we would apply the
darkness inside of it. And obviously we will add
delight inside of the eye. This way. Now move on to
create my characters. Other eye. I also
work on it as well. Now I move on the upper
lines of my islet. I apply her eyelashes, both the upper eyelid
and the lower eyelid. Then for inside of the eye. I will move like this. Then I will create the
light inside of the eye. And also the darkness
inside of our pupil, which should look like this. Now, I want to create
the color for my eye. If you look at her eyes, color is similar to
our other characters. Color. I'm going to use color 361
because I said it's similar. It has actually light colors. I apply my colors here. Then I will erase the
light inside of the eye. Therefore, I would
not go over it. I mean, if I have created
any color in there, I would erase it.
106. Coloring the nose and lips of girl: Hello to all, love my
friends here we're going to continue our
work on our character. First, I'm going to use
my foundation color of my skin tone and
place it on my nose. This is the base color. Just like this. I will work on denosumab
letter and also to nostrils. Obviously after that. Just as this, I will darken the nostrils. Then I would also work on the sides of my nose. This way. I will also go up
on the nose bridge. Then I would move on
to my characters live. Now for that, I'm going
to use different colors. First, I am going to use the car 392 for the line
between my lips, in the middle of my lips. And then I'll use the color 327, this area, upper lip. Then I'm going to
use the color 329. In this way. As you can see. Also, I would use ls, l of my color 321 this way. And I would also
cover around my lips, my skin tone color. They would look like this. I will move on line
between my lips with my colors again
in order for it to show itself more and better. Dressed like this. Now, for the upper lip, would also use my
colors in this way. Then for this part
below my lower lip, I will use a little of my
brown color number 376, very, very little of it. Just to give it a touch. Then again, I bring my
skin tone color over it. Therefore, I don't want it
to show itself too much. Just a little would be enough. This way. Then. I would also like to work on the neck a little and I will make
it even a bit darker. The shadow of our
face placing on the neck would be a
bit more obvious. So this is the face
of our character.
107. Coloring girl clothes: Hello, My dearest friends. We are back again. If they continue our
work on our character. As you can see, our character is wearing
also a dark dress. You can either use your dark
blue or your black color. Exactly like the pens of
our previous character. I want to use my black
color and later on I will combine it with a
little bit of my dark blue on top of it. Start working. Just one thing about
my character I wanted to tell you is that I do not want to create the design on a hairdresser
because it will take so much time and
you might get even a little bit confused and
you lose your main work. Therefore, I won't do it. First. I'll work on the
edges of my sleeves. I would not lose it
during my coloring. Then after we work on
the arms and hands, it will show itself. I will also determine
this area above this other hand in order not to go inside of it and not place any extra
color in there. I start from this side of my
work and I apply my colors. As you can see. It has a very, very small and detailed
design on her dress. And that will take too
much time from us. And actually we are not
going to create it at all. We are easily going
to eliminate them. I will apply my color
like this part by part. Because if you want
to do it all at once, you might actually work on the colors without
enough patience. I would also use my color
344 here on my work. And I will add it to
my previous color. Because when the work has
two different colors, attractiveness of it
would be way more. This way I will separate the edge of my sleeve and also
the edges of my hair. Now I want to work on the
inner part of my work. I mean, inner part of my dress. I start coloring it. This way. I'll move all
around my hair on the sides. Even if you pay
attention right now. There is a part here
between the hair where you can see the
fabric of her dress. Therefore, I would apply it. In order not to leave it white. You should keep the
direction in your coloring. I mean, from the beginning, if you choose one direction for coloring your whole dress, do not change it. Again right now for some while I've separated the hand and arm area that I'm
coloring the dress, I would not go
inside of the hand. My mistake. First I came here and I have determined the
line for my hands. Now, I would want to use my dark blue on top of my black color as well
as I did for my sleeve. Then we did combination
of these two colors. Work, even becomes
more attractive. Again, as you can see, I'm working on my dress part
by part knows all at once. In this way. Will work on the
size of my work. The edges. Then I will determine the part where my dress is separated
from my hair. Therefore, we can have that beautiful
contrast in our work. Now we can either
color the hands or we can continue working
on our dress. I choose to continue
work on the dress. And then later I will move
on the hands and the body. Just like this. I start from the corners and the size of my dress
and I come down. I would also do it from
the other side as well. I start from this corner
for applying my colors. I will come down. I would apply the
colors from both sides. And again, as I did for
the top part of the dress, on the bottom part, I would also just separate the hand area from
the address with the line. I would not go
inside of the hand. I would not call her there. I can start from one side, come down all the way. As you can see. I will do my job
easier this way. I come from the top
to the bottom of my dress all cohesively, all in the same direction. I would move from the
top to the bottom. This way. I will come down. We will work on the
edges of the hand. In this way. Therefore, there won't be any space between the
hand and address, any whitespace because
we don't want that. Just move around. Skirt. Then we come down. Now for the edge of our scared, I would also apply my color. I will complete my
lines this way. Then. I would add my
dark blue all over it. We will move with our dark
blue in the same direction and with the same movement as
we did for our black color. From the top to the bottom. Just try to create
it. In this way. Then we will erase the hands in. If we have created any lines by mistake
inside of our hand, work would not get messy. Then we would work on the edges of our dress a little bit more. Just like this. We will add some more colors. I would add more dark blue to my dress to make its
color look better. This is it. This is the
address of our girl character.
108. Coloring the hands and feet of girl: Hello, My dearest friends. We are going to continue
our work on our character. This time. I want to work on
her hands, arms, and legs. First of all, because
I don't want the color of virus to come
inside of my arms. I will use my eraser on
the edges of the hands and arms to make sure then
I will start coloring. First of all, we
should consider that this arm is in the
front of the work. I mean, It's on the top and
the other hand is on there. My work. First I will
determine this hand. I'll create the fingers. Then we can move on to
coloring. This way. These are her fingers. Then I start this arm from this corner point for you to show the fingers
and the hands better is that if you use a little
of your brown color, then I work on the edges of
my fingers all in this way. Obviously because
I wanted to show the difference between
the fingers and also fingers will actually place a shadow on the skin
underneath them. Therefore, with this, we
can also show that shadow. Now, I'll continue my coloring. As you can see. We do not move on to creates so many
details on the fingers or hands and we just
have a general sketch because in this size we cannot get into the
details so much. The only thing that we do is to determine the placement
of the fingernails also in here on the fingers. Just a little. Just to show their placement. We don't want to create
them all the way along. As we are using our brown color. This would be it. Now, after I've placed
my skin tone color, I will color these
lower parts of the hands and arms a little. I'm using a bit more
darker color so I can show the shadow
of our hand here. Also on this area. Hands are actually
crossing over each other. Just as this. These are my character's
hands now I want to work on her legs. Again. First of all, I use my eraser
and go over my work in order not to make the
work dirty or messy. Before I start it. Then I would apply my
skin tone color on the legs. This way. I would also color the legs. Would apply basic
skin tone color. And then I can move on to
the other leg as well. I want both of my legs to be colored in the
color of his skin. Then I would also
cover the other area. Now, I'm going to
use the color 378, a little on edges of my legs exactly as I did
for the edges of my arms. Because this actually
makes my legs to be seen batter Justin this way. Then I would also
use this color, the edges of it more. I just do it for both legs. And also I will create a bit of the shadow of the
dress on the legs because obviously
it has a shadow. And also I'm going to use
the color 387 a little. Both 40 arms and for the legs. Just to make sure I have
all the correct colors. Good colors actually. This is it.
109. Girl shoes coloring: Hello, My dearest friends. We are continuing our work
on our character together. And this time you want to work
on our character's shoes. We're going to start. First of all, I'm going
to use the color 396. And I will go all around
my work in this way. Then We will move
on to the colors. Just go around it. I do a framework for the shoes. And the other would
look like this. I will go over the
lines a little and make the colors
to pop out more. Now, for the top part of my
shoes, because it's white, I will apply very light layer of lemon color on it in order
to show the colors better. I'm going to use the color 304. I will use a little of it. So I apply this color on
my work very lightly. Just to have some background
on foundation color on our, therefore, we can
move on it better. Now, as you can see, it also has a red line around the shoes that I will just add it this way. Also. The other pair of the shoe. I will add this red line. Now, for the other
line which is black, I will start a little bit lower from my red line and I
will create my black line. Just as you can see it. Then I'll do the same for
the other pair of my shoe. Would also want to
add the black line. Because I also want to use my 348 color to show
this bottom line. For the bottom of my shoe. I'll create another
color for the bottom of my shoe so you can see it
as well with my gray color. Now, for the edges, for the outer edges
of the shoes, actually, I will apply a
little bit of darkness. This area which my feet as
actually going into the shoe. So I should darken
this area a little. Then I'll get some help from my brown color and then later I will add
some black to it. It would look like this. This is it. Now, for my shoe laces, I'm going to use the
gray color 3484. Actually these around
parts for the shoe laces, the holds for my shoelaces. Then. For the lower part of each one, I will use my black color. I mean, I've created my holes for my shoelaces
and now I'm using my black color to
create some lines just below them in order for
them to show themselves. I want to create my shoelaces, but I'm just doing them
in a straight way. I'm not creating
them in this crosses that you can see in the original picture because I don't want my work to get to BZ. I want it to be more simple. Therefore, I create my shoelaces just a straight up ahead. Then. I would also
use a black color, a black line actually, I'll create a black
line beneath all these shoe laces in order
for them to show. Then I will use my gray color. This white part on
the top of our shoe, top and tip also. This way. I should also emphasize on the
holes of my shoe laces. And let's add a bit
more than this. Then. For this minute
part of my shoe, I will also use some gray color. So it would look
like this. Then. With my black color. I will show them
even a little more. These are our shoes for
our girl character. I can also work on
the legs and feet, LSL, and the part that it's
going inside of the shoe. I can also use some
pink color on my legs. In order to make the
colors look better. I will also use
some white color. Actually add some white color in these areas because she's
got a very lightest skin. I can also bring my
white color on my shoes to make them more white
and to get them better. We will move on the
shoe laces once more. Then again. I will use my black and being nice and below my
shoe laces lines, the lower lines of the shoe
laces of each shoe lace. These are the shoes
for our character. And I can also work on this
area a little bit more. On my character is scared. Just part of her dress. Just to make it look
better and more templates. Just as this.
