1. Introduction: Hello friends, and welcome to the creative world of the shirt design. I am old CIA and from Slovakia. And I'm among lots of things, graphic design. I do it quite a lot of experience in graphic design and textbook dream. And I would love to share some basics here today or we do these course. He's for all of you that are thinking evolved, diving into and, and frame 3, I wrote AQL small journey and show you 3D print the rise or how to make your shirt from design to final product. We'll talk about fainting, screen printing and heat pressed method. All of these you actually can do at home with things. You already have. Great NEF. These course, you'll also have a class project. Create your own shirt then thing, right? So if your IV, Let's dive in. 2. Design01: Each of us has a different form of news that guides our thoughts. Sometimes you have an idea. Sometimes you'll need to help the API. And that's no shame at all. Even my favorite book. The unlike an art piece that will tell me about a side note, I really recommend this book. Amy Ray, where to look for inspiration. You can find it in simple things around you while walking through the city or nature, or in the work of others. Just look around. You need to find your way something that will work for you. And just only me, for example, I like to scroll interests. Sometimes there's so much potential, so much inspiration. I didn't like thick walled in the nature. Play with our cat. Read a good book or look up to the stars. Inspirations, eraser. I hadn't while running through at the moment. So let's do somewhere else. The line usually I already have an idea in my head. But putting it together and sketchy, it is completely different story than the very, but do not be afraid. You can make a sketch on paper or tablet or whatever suits you. In the sketch may not be perfect. It is a grass of an idea. Then we will continue to work with a small concept for a few to work, which we'll get into a few moment. Him DCS where the gas Korean project begin. My beers. Go for a walk. Look around. Think about what your design should express. What should be part of what colors you would like to use and start sketching. I'm giving you a very simple project. Make a sharp. But starting with sketch of this act, because there are steps you kind of need to follow and that's key. So take your time. Search for c and Sketch. See you in a while. 3. Design02: Was, we have this gets ready. We can start preparing the design for further use. Yet I need to warn you. There is a difference in how we need to have a design ready for each of the ways we've talked about in this course. If you blend paint, sketch on paper will be enough. But if you want to use heat, our screen printing technique, if you're mean to prepare designs in spatial graphic programs. Now is the time to decide which path you would like to choose. Painting is the easiest way in terms of the equipment needed. You don't need any fancy machines. Just brash, pain and simple. In case of screen printing two, you will only need a few extra things which can be replaced by household items. And in the case of heat pressed technology, you'll need heat preservation. Sometimes it is possible to replace it with an Iron. Man. Need to pay attention to the following. Buy. It makes all the DEJ friends. So think and choose your way. And I'll see you in the next video. 4. Paint: Painting is that therapy? In these time for itself? Pvs, pure love. So what we really think so caller's frame brushes or their glass, clean shirt, pencil, and D are these I prepare a Bragg glaze with plenty of workspace. I really recommend inserting a paper or a foil under the textile on the retrieval pain to ensure that the residual cooler and those not overpowering where we do not want. Like I'm doing here. If you are unsure, make refined sketching with a pencil. It is a great tool and there is no need to be ashamed of it at all. I used to do it very often, especially in the beginnings. Prepare clean water in the glass. If you don't know, takes two dies can be mixed just as normal colors. The main thing is not to overdo even with order, because the whole picture we will bring too much for you. I recommend starting with light colors and then gradually continuing with dark ones. Although this is very specific from picture to picture or designs. Design. Of course, shading isn't a place. Try it. Don't worry because, you know, practice makes master. And above all enjoy the whole process. Here you can see that I really used too much milder injuries brain thing. And so design got threat. But with this particular design, it doesn't really matter at all. I like it and so I decided to leave it like that. You know, it's really your decision to make. At the end, I use a special textile fan to draw the outlines of the design. But before that, it is important to let the colors dry. Don't forget that it is the same. If you want to make call layers and add some quo or message and home and you are done. You can fix the finished painting with the baking paper and E, the iron. You just don't eat for a few minutes through the baking paper. And that's all, really all. Just a jar. They're engaged in the world. 5. Screenprinting: For screen printing material and screen printing colors, really ensure screen on the frame screech. And in this case, special MOOC. You will see why. After you have prepared the graphics, you have more options. Either you have the graphics lead on the screen in the surrounding company. Many bringing companies can help you read that for a small fee. Or you can align the screen yourself. I'm used to preparing the screen myself, but unfortunately, I don't have a space for the moment. So if am in need of a new graphic on screen, I used surrounding companies. But there is an alternative for very cooked the graphics on the quarter into a sticky note foil and then transfer the foil to the screen for simple graphics MRSA. As you see here, this is the way I'm using right now. We simply let the plots are called the graphics into a sticky Vimeo. We live them clean with special Huike. But you'll need to take away. Do not forget them. Then we will transfer a real to a screen which is stretch on the frame using a fourth labor foil, like the one I'm using here. Be aware of air bubbles. You'll really going along them there. We will now use the tape to secure all the corners and places to reach me through, not want the color to be pushed. Because friends, these screen real basically work as such as single stance. The ink is simply press through the open spaces in the graphics on to the SRP. Screen printing is magical. Honestly, I resisted if vary along. My time with my paints and brushes seems so magical to me that I really couldn't imagine anything goes. But over time I felt the need to know how to replicate and graphics faster. And so I go to bed in screen printing. You know that screen printing is commonly used in large printing companies that are already semi automatic machines for this. However, many things, as you can see, can be done at home. Repair your t-shirt and understood. The process is simple plane of the screen where you want to apply the graphics. At least the pay for it some spatula. And then smear. If we just switch attention to the 45 degree angle that these important a home ice cream cheese are bigger than the screen I used. So I use a card from a store and it works. The basic is to apply the pie evenly. Three moons cream from the shirt and voila. We are done. Now, just let you drag simpler, right? 6. Heatpress: Heat brain is a machine that uses high heat and pressure to transfer file to athleisure. So far this way, we will need clean shirt, special florals for printing textiles. We pulled the removal, making paper, clutter, eat bread machine and a hook. So first we have that prepared graphics category, the plotter into peripheral intended for a heat price. There are more times. So be sure to choose the one that suits you the most. And remember, you need to prepare design in special programs. So the quarter, we will know what to do. And when the plotter Catholic graphics, we have to remove unwanted plants from the fall so that we have the graphics that we want to apply to the textile or the sharp. It can also be a very lengthy process. But it depends on the graphic is you have created. My recommendation is not to make graphics from a lot of tiny parts. Include breathing in cell ECM. The heat praise heaped up with on the shirt, pulled the graphics where you want it to be and cause a deep breath. And I use firewalls for reached the heat pressed, it must be heated to 160 degrees Celsius. First, I close the T-shirt in the heat press for about four seconds to remove excess moisture from. Then I put graphics wherever I wanted and close deep breath. And well, 50 seconds later, I will open the heath breath and cool off the top file, and it is done. I sometimes use baking paper and library needs praise around a second time to ensure the strength of the applied graphics. But this is not necessary. Well, I then T-Shirt cool. And you can go out into the world. 7. Conclusion: We are at the end of this class. I believe that no matter which technique you choose, you will have beautiful product in front of you in no time. Don't forget the osteon result among the finished project. I will be very much looking forward to oh Bulaq these cars. I had so much fun making it. And I'm really sorry for my crazy English, but you know, I'm Slovak trying my best. And do you have any questions? Feel free to ask. I will be very happy to be part of your creative process. And of course, I would very much welcome your feedback on this course. So thank you for your time. And I really don't forget to finish your class project. Anyway. One last recommendation. Wash your created shrimp, perhaps laying down on a maximum of 40 degrees Celsius. Don't forget that. And see, yeah.
