1. 1Introduction to the project: In this project, you are going to create a autumn yoga Logan. And as you can see, it's a combination of a yoga position of a silhouette in the center spot and a treat leaves and some the roots at the bottom. You know this project you're going to use mainly the mental, to trace the silhouette. Then we're going to use the custom brushed that we're going to create ourselves. And then we're going to use some warping some transformations that to create their leaves on that we're going to color using some default Adobe Illustrator swatches. Their goal of this project is you practicing the battle and maybe even learning it to the right way for the first time, practicing the custom brushes and some warping techniques. So we're without further ado. Let's to start the project first by creating a new document
2. 2Create the sihlouette: So I am inside Adobe Illustrator CC. But if you don't have the latest version of Illustrator, don't worry, you can still create everything in this project using, basically, I think, any older version off illustrator. So let's start with creating a new file. So I'm just going to hit creating you. And I think that we can just go with a simple 800 by 800 pixels document because I just think that is going to be easier for you to see what is about to happen here and let me just a name in my file as maybe yoga logo. And I think that I would like to leave the pixels as my units. But remember that if you are going to be creating a logo but maybe similar to this one or a logo that is in general going to be printed out, just go for the print preset right here. But ah, for the learning purposes, I think that it's just going to be easier for us just to go with a simple, simple Web preset that again is going to have 800 pixels in with an 800 pixels in height. I do want to have only one art board. That's totally fine. I'm just going to hit create. So the first thing that we need to do is we need to trace the main silhouette that is going to be our main part off the tree. And to do that, I'm just gonna go to the file menu and then place going to navigate where I keep my image. This is this guy right here, and I'm just going to double click on it to then base it right here in my document. And this is a This is an image that I found online. It's just going to be something like a trace in a model for us, nothing more. Because right now what we have to do is we have to grap the pen tal and maybe let's get rid off the Phil. Don't. We're not going to be needing it. And let me just maybe change the color off the stroke to something them really visible. Something you're going to see. Well, right. So we got our panels set up, and basically all we have to do is we have to just start tracing. And, of course, if you click and drag. You are going to create a nicely curved shape, so click and drag to create a nice curve. Click and drag click and drag once more and basically with shape with this trace, and we are going to be clicking and dragon. Don't forget that if you don't get it right the first time, you can always That's just it later, and there are basically two main techniques that you can adjust your paths as you go. So, for instance, let's say that you didn't click where you want. It's like somewhere here you could always just present hold on the space bar to move your path around. So let's say that I would like to match it with this lad with this part of the leg, and then I can again just click and drag and then press the space bar to move that ankle point around. So again, click and drag somewhere here. Maybe down here, click and drag. And as you can see, I went too far right here. So now I can just press and hold on the control key to initialize throat temporally switch to the drug selection toe, and I can now just grab the direction handle and maybe move the path of it and we could do the same here at the top. Or maybe here we can just Kulik and Marquis around ankle points. We can click on them and maybe let me just move this guy just a bit to the side to somewhere here. Same with this guy. Did somewhere here and once You are happy with all these changes with older with all these transformations, If you just let go off the control key, you're still going to be able to use their mental. So we can just again click and drag Go down here, kulik and drag. And you don't have to be overly precise. I would this foot right here because we are going Teoh attach the foot to to the roots. So we're not going to be needing, like an overly precise shape off the foot. However, we are going to be needing a nicely curved calf right here. So let me just move it like that. Then let's just go up to maybe somewhere here and again. As you can see, we need to fix this guy right here. So again, I'm just going to hold down the control key, grab this direction, handle and just try to change this curve. Maybe with this guy as well. And again, I'm just going to click. Maybe somewhere here, click and drag Go to hear clicking, drag somewhere here and click and drag. So I really hope that this will will know this exercise is going to help you, you know, taming the mental click and drag right here. Maybe just a bit more to somewhere here on then Maybe up here. And I don't know if you notice, but in the latest version off, Illustrator, you're going to get something like a life preview with the pencil of what your next path is going to be. This is not something you're going to get with the older versions of Illustrator. So this is so one off the benefits off upgrading. But it's not like a deal breaker. If you don't have from this preview right here, you can just create all these paths without the preview. It's just here to help you just a bit. So we are closing on the face. I'm just going to press and hold on the space Berg to move this guy around. Now let's click somewhere here. Let's trace the year. Let's go up. Or maybe I'll just zoom in. Just two seed, a big batter. It maybe I'll just bring this guy just a bit down. Then we can go up here. And right now, I would like to actually make this left ankle point go a bit up because my next move is going to be tracing the hair. So Nam, which is going toe present, Hold on the altar. Keep to detach this handle, as you can see. So now I can just tell Illustrator in which direction my next path is going to go. So in this case, I want I want it to go up. So I'm going to leave it like that. And if I now just click and drag, you can see that we are actually making this path go up and we can know, maybe click somewhere here than click somewhere here, and we are definitely gonna have to fix this guy right here. So I'm just going to present holding the control key, brain this guy up to somewhere here and maybe perent this guy to the site ever so slightly may be this guy as well. So, as you can see, there's quite a lot off from, like, small adjustments going on here. But, you know, I think that the final effect is totally worth it. And you can definitely spend more time. Then I am spending right here to get everything just the way you want. I'm just going to maybe click and drag right here to trace the year and go down, maybe go down somewhere. Here, click and drag. Maybe just a bit down. There we go. Maybe click and drag somewhere here again here. Then let's just go up like that up here. Then go up here up here like that and we can finish by clicking and dragon and maybe making it go up just a bit. So once all these lines aren't created, we still need to create this guy whole right here. You need to trace it. So let me just quickly click and drag around it so it looks more or less like this. This should be all right. Let's leave it like that. However, if you are not happy with any of your your curves, if you're not satisfied with them Now, the final effect, you could go to the smooth tool and older versions off illustrator. You'll find it under the pencil tool group. In the later versions of Illustrator, you will find this tool under the shape or to group. So the way this told basically works is if you're just ah, click and drag, you're going to smooth a path out. So let me just select the path and then just click and drag to smooth some parts off my off my ship. We could, for instance, go maybe here to make her the smooth just a bit. Well, to make the curth on just a bit smoother. Maybe somewhere here, maybe somewhere up here to make it just a bit smoother off course. See, um, well, the amount of smooth and that you're going to be needing is going to be, you know, depending on your on your trace and on your artistic taste. If you wanna have, like a more precise tracing or more curved tracing, you can just use the smooth tool will more extensively. But I think that it's I think it's, ah, I think it's fine what I could do however, is they could grab that direct selection tool and maybe just move some of these guys around like maybe this guy, but to the side. Maybe this guy just a bit down to somewhere here. So once you're trace is complete, you are not. You know you're not left what you have, you can always just fix some things about it. So once this whole shape is done, we can now select everything. Go to the Pathfinder panel, and if you don't have it up, just go to the window menu and then a Pathfinder, and to just choose minus front. Because what we want is just a simple shape with this whole right here, this part to cut out. So once we got our shape created, we're not going to be needing our will, our image. So we can just from the layers panel, I can simply turn its visibility off. And now we can move on to creating our will custom, custom brush. So let's start doing that next
3. 3Create the custom brushes and add the branches: create the custom brush we are going to need be needing. Um, well, basically two things. A simple will shape like a triangle and brushes toe. So from the tools panel, I'm gonna choose the polygon tool And to start creating a polygon, some clicking and the dragon. And, of course, I want this guy to be triangle some going to press the down arrow key until it turns into a triangle. I'm going to hold on the shift key to constrain the proportions. And what I would like to do know is I would like to turn it to the right, so I'm just going to rotate it, holding down the shift key till it looks like this. I also would like it to be just a bit smaller, wider and smaller. This shape is going to be our base for both their branches and to the roots. So once we got this shape created, maybe just a bit smaller once we got this shape created, all we need is we just need to go to that brushes panel. And if you don't have it up, just go to the window menu and choose brushes. And from here, what I'm gonna do is from the panel menu. I'm just going to choose new brush. And in this window, I'm gonna choose Arte Brush. I'm just gonna hit. Okay, now in here, I would like to change my brush options. So if you want, you can change the name of the brush. But I'm just going to leave it like that. We're just going to be using one brush. So I guess it can stay as this generic art brush one. I would like it, however, to scale proportionately. I would like it to fit the stroke, and ah, I also would want it to go from left to right. So the direction right here is going to be set from left to right, and I'm just going to hit. Okay. So as you can see in my brushes panel, I got this brush created. I guess I won't be needing this guy anymore, But just to be on the safe side, I'm going to move it over. Let me just move it to the bottom. So basically, what we need right now is we just need to grant the brush tool and it is the fastest. I guess by pressing a that be key on the keyboard. And if you want, you can always choose the paintbrush stole from the tools panel. And once this brush is selected, if we just click and drag, you're going to create a well, like a nice guy curve or a brush stroke going from this wider and right here to a very small vory. Well, one point and right here. So again, all we need is just a click and drag to create a curve looking like this. So now we can just maybe some a bit closer. We can now just start clicking and dragging to create a shape looking something like this. And of course, there is absolutely no right or wrong here. You can create any branches you want. They can beam or curved, taken, be last curved. That is going to be totally up to you. What I would like to suggest, however, is creating like four main branches right here and then just adding smaller strokes to add smaller branches. So all we really need is to just click and drag, click and drag to create some more branches. If he had too many of these, we wouldn't have much room for the leaves that are coming that are coming next. And, of course, if you don't like some of the branches, you can just select them and remove them. Also, remember that these brush strokes are still edible, so you could, for instance, click on one and drag to create it. To make it look more or less like this. However, you could also just grab one. And if you just start manipulating the stroke with your going to be making the stroke just a bit too thinner. So if you just start clicking and dragging and maybe moving some things around, you are ultimately going to create the branches that you are looking for. And, of course, it's totally up to you how many you wanna have them. But I wouldn't advise. Go into crazy with the number of the branches because, remember, we still need some room for that Leaves also notice that once in your branches are created , some of them might not to look exactly the way you would like them to look so we can just go to their smooth tool and let me just maybe zoom in and you could still grab one of the ah, let's say this this this branch and you can just click and drag to make it smoother so we can maybe moved this guy around and we can click and drag to make it smoother. Moved this guy. Maybe around click and drag to make it just a bit just a bit smoother. And, of course, it's, um well, there's no no, no, no shortcuts around this technique. You just have to click and drag. And, of course, if you if your branches are nice and smooth already, you don't have to do anything about them. Also remember that when you just double click on the smooth, too you're going to at least in the latest version of Illustrator, you're going to have the ability to move between the accurate side off smoothing and the smooth side. So if you move the slider more towards the smooth value, you're gonna be able to smooth the well, the branch out well, a bit more. And if you move towards accurate, you are going to make the and this curve follow the movement off the off the cursor a bit more bit more faithfully, but I would like it to leave it as smooth because I want to smooth out the branches. That's that's what I would like to do with the tool. Maybe let me just move this guy a bit to the side and let me just check all the other guys . So remember to just move the branches around so they don't stick out off the off the other branches off the major branches, so to speak. And them, like this guy right here. I would like it to be moved with this main branch. So once thes air branches are created, once you're happy with their size, with their positioning, we could now just select everything. Maybe, except for this main silhouette go to the object menu, expand the appearance. So they are right now, they are not the brushstrokes anymore, and then right now can accept color. And I would like to in the Pathfinder menu just unite them. And I guess we could unite them with the main shape because they're gonna have the same the same color. So right now it's a group. And as you can see, it has the same color which I'm going to maybe turned black. There we go. So not now. The next step would be to create their roots, so let's a start doing that next.
4. 4Add the roots: I'm gonna grab the paint brush tool. I still have my brush created and selected right here. And let me just zoom in. And what we want right now is we want to merge this foot with their branches well with the roots. So I'm just going toe click and drag to create one route, the other one, 3rd 1 and maybe the 4th 1 Maybe not that big like this. And of course, again, if they are too big for you or too small, you can always just manipulate the stroke value. You can move these guys around, maybe to somewhere here, Maybe this guy just a bit down, Maybe this guy to somewhere here. And of course, at this point we could just start adding more off the roots. And in this case, you are going to have to create quite a lot of them because, you know, there's usually a lot of routes under the tree, so we're going to have to click quite a lot. And these guys don't have to be that smooth as in the case of our branches. But again, that's going to be totally up to you. If you want to smooth all these guys out, you know, like extremely that's going to be totally up to you. I'm just going to click and the drag to create branches like that. Well, roots, I keep mistaking branches for the roots. Maybe because the technique here is pretty much the same. Let me make this guy's thinner. There we go. And of course, now we're gonna have to move these guys around. So, as you consider, is quite a lot of clicking and dragon involved. And OK, these guys look fine. I guess we could maybe no, start adding just some smaller bits around here. There we go. So if you want to keep creating all these elements, that's that's going to be totally up to you going to leave it, leave it up to you up to your experimentation up to your patients, enter and creativity. I'm just going to add just a few more so we can then move on to creating their lives. But before we do that, let me just create some more and just check if all these guys are nicely positioned, like maybe this guy right here, we could always make it smaller. There we go. Lets you right here. This guy needs to go up. What I want to do right now is I want to match all these elements with my well with these routes. Because in a second we're going to have to fix all the issues we have right here. Let me just add so more. There we go. Just a few more. Maybe somewhere here, like that Somewhere. Here. Note. The more time you spent with these elements, you're going to create a bit more intricate design. But again, that's totally up to you. And, you know, up to your up to your client what he or she ultimately would like Teoh achieve. Also, don't forget that the more like small elements, the more details you have within your design. Sometimes going to be harder for replicating the logo, like for signs or things like that, things that are not necessarily graphic. But, um I mean, they're not printed out, but they exist in a graphic form, like some signs on buildings on the world's things like that. Maybe like some doormats who knows? And also the more details you have, the more difficult it is going to be for the manufacturer to produce all these small bits. So again, I really hope that you understand what I'm trying to achieve right here. All we basically need is to just to create as much of branches well as we want and as we see fit. But again, not too many, maybe just a bit more of, like, longer ones. There we go. Maybe somewhere here, like like that. It just may be so many. There we go. So, as I said, now that we have all these guys created, we need to fix this combination off the foot and our our roots, So let's start doing that next.
5. 5Finish the roots and connect them with the silhouette: So now we have to just fix this combination of the foot and the roots right here, some just going to select all of these elements. Of course not the silhouette. And from the object menu, I'm gonna choose expand appearance to turn these guys into into simple fills. And then from the Pathfinder panel, I'm just going to choose unite. So now all these elements are one simple shape that I'm going to add this tree to my selection and again from the Pathfinder panel. I'm just gonna choose Unite. So now basically, what we have to do is we have to get rid of some elements that are not looking nicely a lot . Right now, this kind of looks like a boot, which is definitely not something that I want. So I'm gonna grab the direct selection told and maybe Marquis around this path. This part right here and from the control toolbar, I'm just gonna choose remove selected anchor points, going to do the same with the these guys. And now we can just simply maybe grab this anchor point and move. But maybe to somewhere here and there we go and weaken. Basically, merge this tree well with silhouette with our with our roads. Maybe I'm going to move it to just a bit to the side. And there we go. We basically got there the branches of the main like this trunk off the tree, them this main silhouette created and the roots as well. So the next step here would be to create the leaves, and we're going to use some working for that. But before we warped leave, we have to first create it, so let's a start doing that.
6. 6Create the leaf shape: two Creator the leaf. I'm just going to need a simple l lips. So with the ellipse tal, I'm just going to click and drag. I'm going to hold on to shift, Get too creative, Perfect ellipse. Now, next, What I would like to do is I would like to make this top point well, pointing. I want to make it sharp. So I'm going to select it with the direct selection tool and I'm going to convert it using this convert selected ankle points to corner option. And as you can see, we are creating well so well, almost a nice leaf shape. So if you now just grab the stopping point and start dragging up holding down the shift key , we are going to create a shape looking like this. Now, if you want, you can go ahead and start no copying, and this will leave shape onto your design. But I think that we can make it a bit nicer. So no, I'll just borrow this brush stroke and put its down here going to rotate it and make it smaller. Do somewhere here and I'm going to put it My guest somewhere here should be fine. gonna make sure that these guys are nicely aligned to the center. And what I would like to do right now is I would like to cut this shape from this leaf shape. So first of all, I'm just going to copy it into my clipboard, a president controlled, see? And then I'm just gonna press control shift and left bracket. Get to make sure that this guy is actually on top. We created it first. And now for the next transformation toe work, it needs to be on top. And since it was created, first it's below this leaf shape. So I'm going to select both of them and from the Pathfinder panel. I'm going to choose miners front to cut that part out like this. Next, I'm going to press control f to base this guy big in, and I'm going to maybe zoom in just so you can see everything just a bit better. And now, with the direct selection tool, I'm going to click on this bottom left anchor point and just move this guy a bit to the side to create a shape looking like this. And of course we can. I guess we have to merge all these guys together, and basically what we need to do is we need to start adding on this leaf to our tree. But I guess before we do that we could maybe collar and add color to our branches and all the other elements, just so they look a bit nicer than they do right now. And for that, let's let Z move to the swatches panel and find the right color palette, but let's do that next.
7. 7Add the full set of leaves: So I'm going to head over to the swatches panel. And if you don't see this watch spell within your workspace, just go to the window menu and choose swatches down here and by default, going to see these like, standard web swatches. But I would like to add different colors to my design. So from this Swatch Libraries menu, I'm just gonna find Earth tone, these guys right here and in here you will find different earth tone swatches. And by the way, your swatches might not look like this. They might be way smaller and mine look like this because I just chose from the panel menu large thumbnail view, Probably yours are going to look something like this. So if you wanna, you know, if you want to see your swatches a bit better, you can just choose large thumbnail view or medium thumbnail view. I think I'm gonna go with large thumbnail view, and now I can just select this main shape and just try to find the best color for my tree. I guess it could be brown, but maybe I'm just going to go with this, like, off plum color. So now what we can Dio is we can simply start putting our leaves. Maybe let me just make this guy but smaller and next to our branches. And the trick here is to of course, put these guys where they need to go. But also not to overdo the effect not to create too many off these leaves. So first, I'm just going to cloned just a few of them. And then I'm weaken. Just make them smaller, some holding down both shift and the old keys. And maybe put this guy here and again. There is absolutely no right or wrong here. You can rotate them the way you want. You can make them. You can reflect them the way you want. For instance, you can reflect it to somewhere here, and you can make it even a smaller. The trick here is to just try to put these a leaf. So all like this, friend, these virtual strokes around our branches are like so what uniform? They don't have to be perfectly uniformed, because this is a treatises nature, and there are no straight lines in nature. But it's just would look nice and professional if if you just took special care and make made sure that thes strokes look local, right? So I'm just going to maybe put one here. So let's create an illusion that maybe some leaf ism is falling down. Maybe one here, I'm just going to move it, make it something like this. And then again, we just have to maybe make this guy Justin. But smaller. Maybe cloned this guy down here and ported like this. Maybe clone on this leave and maybe this leave for right here. You don't have to have too many of these leaves, especially that soon we are going to be colorizing them. And if you have a lot of leaves, of course, this will make the design more intricate. But also, you know it's going to. It's going to make it harder to just grab leaves and then give them proper colors. I know that from my own experience, trust me on that one. When I was creating this designer for a client soup quite allowed just to get him that the leaves are right, some trying to speed the process up for you. Maybe. Let's let me just maybe rotate this guide to summer here. And of course, if you want to spend speed the video up, you can do that. I'm just going to start adding even more leaves and maybe put this guy somewhere here. Maybe this guy somewhere here. Of course, I am almost always holding down the shift key and the gulke's to either cologne. These guys or two rotate them, transform them from the center point. Maybe this guy somewhere here, maybe just a bit up. Maybe I'm going to clone this one and make it smaller than this. Sorry. It looks like that. Maybe clone this guy and rotated. Maybe one more here in the center. Maybe bigger one here. But it's going to be rotated to something like that, Maybe a bit smaller. There we go. Maybe one over here and one over here. And as you are creating your leaves, you could just always zoom back out and see if actually, you are OK with number with the rotation with the position in of your lease. Because once when you are, like, really, really zoomed in, you might not see the bigger picture, so to speak might not see all them small, fine details that are happening with your project So it's always a good idea to kind of like zoom back out or even just to no stand. Stand up and move away from the monitor just to take a fresh look at your design that makes you zoom back out. Maybe I'm just going to add one more here, maybe add one more year. Let me just to rotate it, make it just a bit smaller, maybe put small on somewhere here and maybe crept this one and put it here, Juan, grab on and put it here. Maybe make it just a bit bigger and again, we can just rotate. We can just zoom back out and see what it looks like. So, as you can see, we are slowly getting somewhere with our design. But it's going to take a while to take all the leaves, right? So let me just maybe and get back to you once all these leaves are basted in copied and a nicely positioned. So once you have, like 1/2 off the tree created of the leaves. Here is just one small piece of advice I would like to give you In order to speed the process up. You can just select one part that you created, of course, without the branches and simply copied two of the other side and maybe rotated just a bit. And now you don't have to just create everything from scratch. You can simply now start moving some things around like that just to make the process a bit faster. Of course, it's not going to be like uber fast, but still, it's going to be faster than just maybe Dragon wanna guy over and just trying to match it with the branches. But again, you're gonna have to spend some time to get all these shapes right and sometimes make them smaller, sometimes make them bigger. That's, unfortunately unavoidable. But I think that again, the final effect is totally, totally worth it. So once all the leaves are created, the last thing to do would be to go to give them the proper colors and there actually to know to views on that to a ways that you can add colors the to of this kind of a design. Well, actually, maybe three. Because if you want, you can just grab all of these all of these leaves and just give the one color and you know , and go home, you're you're basically done. The logo is basically created, but what I would like to add here is, I would like to know, since it's an autumn yoga logo. I would like to, uh, make the leaves a bit more colorful, so let's start doing that next.
8. 8Colorize the leaves and finish the project: So the first let's say take on. Ah, given the the colorist it leaves is to simply shift, click on, say, like every other off them, maybe right here, just to give them different colors. But as you can see, it's going to require quite a lot off clicking to get like every other leaf, right? Like a least the two from a specific cluster. But once we start selecting more of them and adding colors to more of them, that is going to get a bit more easy. So maybe somewhere here, maybe this guy right here and maybe this guy, maybe the smaller once as well, Laurie a year, maybe somewhere here and here, Um, maybe down here and here. So once these guys are selected, we can now move on to our palate. And let's say I'm going to choose this color, and then we can just keep doing what we were doing. So just selecting, like trying to select every other in this case, of course, that pink leaf, Maybe these guys may be this guy. Maybe this guy And of course, if you were to, like, strictly follow the logo design rules, I guess we would just to keep it as Lois, um, that three colors. But as I said before, I just wanted to make it colorful. I like autumn, So I thought that we might simply add some more colors to our leave. So maybe this time let's go with, like, the yellow colors. So again we can maybe select some more like here. Maybe these guys was, well, these guys, too. And now, let's say give it maybe like a green color. There we go. So again, let's start selecting more. Maybe somewhere here like this and maybe down here, Maybe this one on. Let's maybe this time let's give it like a blue color. Why not? Let's go a bit crazy. And I guess we don't have too many like pink leaves left, so we can just select one and then just go ahead and select the similar objects. And now we can add a different color. Maybe like this, maybe something else. Let's Ah may be something darker and there we go. We basically got the leaves created, so that's a one way off doing at this will this coloring challenge So let me now just select everything and move them a bit to the side and make them just a bit smaller. So now we could just cologne these guys to the side. And now I'm just going to make sure that these guys are locked, so I'm going to select them. We can go to the object menu, look selection or just press control too. And this time I'm just gonna use the lasso tool. And what I would like to do right now is I would like to create, like, three or four clusters off for the same color. So if we just now start dragging around one part, let's give it maybe maybe something lighter like these colors. Then I'm going to select around here and give it a different color than again. Go here and give it may be the sculler and again select around these guys and actually maybe give them the blue color would. This is simple trick. We basically have to like the same designs, but looking pretty much different. Let me just collapse this panel. So we have, like, completely, completely different colors right here they are, like, scatter around. And here we got, like, clusters off colors. So which design you would like to create. That's totally up to you. Maybe you would like to just and one color. Or maybe go for like, an earth tone rainbow a fact so you could maybe just let me just a lot of these guys he could, for instance, go down like that and then choose a color. Let's say this one. Then again, just go ahead and select these guys and choose a different color. Then again, she was thes guys and choose a different color. Well, that's going to be totally up to you. I would just like it, understand it with them, using simple techniques like the pen tal, the brush tool and some transformations you can create and nicely looking logos. I like this autumn logo in this case. So I hope you had fun creating this design. I hope that in the future you're going to be using the mental to, for instance, trace theon objects that you would like to create. You don't have to draw like human silhouettes from scratch. You can just use a photo and this and that just trace the silhouette and then turn it into a well, a real silhouette like this one, and you can also use the custom brushes to create branches. You can first grab simple shapes and turn them into brushes that chicken and just the paint around and create branches and roots. And that you can also, of course, transforms simple objects using simple transformations like changing the anchor points and no moving them around a bit. And then just adding colors on DSA, electing clusters of objects with the lasso tool and add colors using illustrator pre defined swatches like the earth tones. So again, I hope you like this design. I hope that you will submit your own projects and, as always, until next time, have a nice design.
